I'm Daily Wire, editor-in-chief John Bickley with Georgia Howl.
It's Tuesday, November 5th, Election Day, and this is your Morning Wire afternoon update.
Former President Donald Trump closed out his campaign rallying into the wee hours of the morning today.
The Republican nominee rallied in Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed 2 a.m. after a full day of rallies in Raleigh, North Carolina and Redding and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Polls opened just hours after rally goers had gone to bed.
Trump told the crowd that what Biden and Harris broke, he'll fix.
Kamala broke it, and I will fix it and fast.
America will be bigger, better, bolder, richer, safer and stronger than ever before.
Vice President Harris wrapped up her campaign in Philadelphia, where she painted herself as on the brink of a come-from-behind win.
And here at these famous steps, a tribute to those who start as the underdog and climb to victory.
Former President Trump received key endorsements from high-profile figures, including podcaster and MMA commentator Joe Rogan.
Daily Wire reporter Amanda Prestoacamo reports.
Rogan formally endorsed Trump on social media, praising Elon must support for the former president.
This comes nearly two weeks after Trump appeared on Rogan's podcast.
Rogan had initially extended an invite to Vice President Harris as well, but negotiations fell through.
Rogan later revealed that Randy Mahomes, the mother of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes,
showed her support at a game wearing a MAGA hat and declaring,
Make America Great Again.
Meanwhile, in New Hampshire, the Libertarian Party there likewise has endorsed Trump,
declaring him the best candidate for libertarians.
Also in New Hampshire, the tiny community of Dixville Notch reported the first results from the
2024 election just past midnight.
The result was a tie, three votes for Harris and three votes for Trump.
That's the best Trump has fared in the first in the nation ballot.
In 2020, all five Dixville Notch votes went to President Biden.

The final presidential polls show an incredibly tight race.
Real clear politics average of the seven key battleground state polls gives Trump a 0.8% advantage,
including slight leads in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada.
The polls give Harris the edge in Michigan and Wisconsin.
Meanwhile, the average of the national polls are almost dead even,
with Harris holding just a 0.1% percent.
edge head to head and Trump with the same edge when the other presidential candidates are
included.
Analysts say Democrats generally need at least a two-point national advantage to have a chance
to win the electoral college.
Daniel Penny has repeatedly been described as, quote, the white man in his ongoing
manslaughter trial.
Daily Wire senior editor, Ash Short has the details.
The prosecutor and a witness in the trial of Daniel Penny referred to him as the white
man or the white guy during testimony, while referring.
to the deceased, Jordan Neely, as Mr. Neely.
On day two of the controversial trial, Yvette Rosario testified about what she saw when Penny
placed Neely in a chokehold to prevent him from hurting other passengers, the New York Post reports.
Rosario filmed a short video of Penny restraining Neely in the chokehold and was asked about what
took place. Rosario apparently didn't know Penny's name, so she referred to him as the
white guy. Not only did the prosecution not correct her, but they began referring to Penn
as the white man throughout her testimony. In contrast, Rosario did refer to Neely by his first name or as
Mr. Neely. The Manhattan assistant DA did the same throughout the exchange. The two referred to Penny
as the white man or the white guy more than half a dozen times during Rosario's testimony.
And Bernie Marcus, the co-founder of Home Depot, has died at the age of 95.
Marcus, a Republican megadoner worth more than $7 billion, started the hardware store.
with Arthur Blank in 1978.
The company now has 2,300 stores and is worth nearly half a trillion dollars.
Marcus was the company's CEO until 1997 and served as its chairman until he retired in 2022.
The Marcus family has not released a formal statement, but the news comes via a leaked company memo.
