and this is your Morning Wire afternoon update.
Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lopid has officially conceded to former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
In an official statement from Lopid's office Thursday, he said he had already called and
congratulated Netanyahu in what would be his third time holding office.
Pfizer and its partner, Biointech, announced Thursday morning that the two companies are working
on creating a combination COVID-19 and flu vaccine in hopes of targeting two viruses at once.

stage trial to assess the safety, efficacy, and optimal dosage. Axios reports.
In response to President Biden's Wednesday address warning Americans that mega-maga Republicans
threatened democracy, White House Chief of Staff Ron Clayne stated on Thursday that the speech
served as one last cautionary message to the American people.
The president decided a few days ago that it was important to issue one final warning on this
issue to make very clear, believe no doubt, that we have people out there still peddling
the big lie. People are now raising the issue of election denial in this election.
And, of course, the horrible incident involving Speaker Pelosi and her family, you know,
showing the rising threat of political violence.
A 21-year-old Chicago man has been arrested on felony charges of threats and harassment against Illinois's Republican governor candidate Darren Bailey.
According to authorities, Lennox allegedly left a voicemail threatening to skin Bailey alive while making references to his home, children, and encouraging Bailey to kill himself.
Lennox appeared in court on Wednesday and was granted a $75,000 bond and ordered to wear an electric monitor and stay away from Bailey's family.
Special climate envoy John Kerry announced this week that the president's goal.
goal is to have every car sold in the U.S. be electric by 2035.
Ford Motor Company and General Motors and other companies around them have spent
hundreds of billions of dollars retooling their plants. Why? Because they're going electric.
And by 2035, that's all we're going to have in America. Electric cars being manufactured,
not on the road, but being sold in new cars. That's President Biden's goal.
The two climate activists who glued themselves to a painting in the Hague last week will spend
one month in jail, authorities announced.
The former prime minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, was shot on Thursday in the foot,
according to an official, who also reported that the shooting was an assassination attempt.
Dr. Marvin Moy, a New York City doctor, charged in a federal $100 million health fraud scheme,
is still missing after he fell off a boat in a reported collision that occurred October 12th at around
midnight. That's according to People magazine.
The entire town of Pulaski, Virginia, was
ordered to shelter in place on Thursday after an armed and dangerous man attempted to run over
two police officers with a stolen police car. According to Fox News, the suspect also stole
multiple firearms from the police before escaping on foot. And a scandal dubbed Baggate has rocked
the professional Cornhole World. After multiple champion players were accused of gaining an advantage
by using lighter non-regulation beanbags at the American Cornhole League World Championships in August,
The league plans to announce regulations for bag testing by the end of the year.
