The jury in Trump's hush money trial has found the former president guilty on all 34 charges. This came at the end of the second day of jury deliberation and capped off a nearly

seven-week trial. Trump was accused of illegally trying to cover up a $130,000 payment to porn actress Stormy Daniels, part of an alleged scheme to stifle sex scandals ahead of the 2016 election. Sentencing has been set for July 11th. Trump called the verdict a, quote, rigged decision and said the real verdict will come November 5th. This was done by the Biden administration in order to wound or hurt and a part of the point. a political opponent. And I think it's just a disgrace. And we'll keep fighting.

The Supreme Court will allow the NRA to pursue a claim that New York state officials coerced companies to end ties with the gun rights group. Daily Wire contributor Matthew Sinovsky has more. Amendment claim against the actions of Maria Vulo, then superintendent of the New York State Department of Financial Services. Following the 2018 school shooting in Parkland, Florida, Volo urged insurance companies and banks to reconsider any relationships they had with the NRA. In 2022, the NRA appealed a New York court's ruling which said Volo's actions did not constitute unlawful conduct. This case was one of two before the nation's highest court alleging government coercion of private entities. The other, which is yet to be decided, involves close. claims that the Biden administration unlawfully pressured social media companies when it urged them to remove certain content.

A person has died at Amsterdam's international airport after being sucked through a plane's turbine engine. Officials have not yet disclosed the identity of the person who was killed or said if they were a passenger, employee, or bystander. Authorities say they are currently investigating the incident and that they will be releasing more information as soon as it becomes available. Mexican mayoral candidate Alfredo Cabrera was shot point-blank in the head at a campaign event yesterday. Cabrera's shooter was also killed following the attack. A total of 23 candidates have been murdered in this year's gruesome campaign season,

with Cabrera's death coming just a day after two other candidates were targeted. Political violence has spanned the country and impacted more than just politicians. That's donewithdebt.com today. A court in Hong Kong convicted 14 democracy activists today on charges of subverting the Chinese government. They will join 31 others who previously, pleaded guilty, though most have already spent three years in jail. The charges stem from a primary election that activists held ahead of a 2020 election following months of protests in Hong Kong. After arresting the activist Beijing and stated new election rules for the region, allowing only pro-Chinese Communist Party candidates. The convictions underscore years of crackdowns in the region, which have effectively eliminated outspoken opposition to the Chinese government.

Early counts from South Africa's election spell doom for the African National Congress. That's the political party that has run South Africa's government since Nelson Mandela's election three decades ago. Daily Wire reporter Tim Pierce has the latest. Current estimates for South Africa's National Assembly have the ANC at around 40%. The party has faced widespread scrutiny over corruption scandals, lack of government services, and a 32% unemployment rate. Without a majority in the National Assembly, the ANC will have difficult, re-electing current president Cyril Ramaphosa, and we'll have to seek support from smaller parties. That doesn't seem likely. And a Michigan man has gone viral for driving with a suspended license while appearing virtually in court. The viral video, which happened earlier this month, shows 44-year-old Corey Harris appearing in court via Zoom for charges stemming from an earlier arrest.
