Starting point is 00:00:33 New episodes are being released every week. The link is in the description. Can I tell you something? You ain't met the real you until you have to use your power. That's the real you. Many of you, you're like a superhero. Movies now get me through a long flight. I don't go anywhere on a plane until I download all the movies I want to watch on my iPad.

Starting point is 00:01:04 and then I'm ready to go. I can sit through a movie. I learn. I can sit through a good movie on an airplane and just be good. And one day I'm on the plane. I'm watching a movie. And then I turn to my left and I turn to my right. And I turn to the front.

Starting point is 00:01:22 And I turned to the back. And I realized everybody around me was watching the same movie. I was watching the movie. And they was watching the same movie. And he was watching the same movie. And I realized we were all watching. The Avengers. We were just watching Avengers. I mean, grown men was watching Avengers. Children was watching Avengers. Women was watching Avengers. Senior citizens, just little old ladies.

Starting point is 00:01:47 They just had a phone something big. It was just watching Avengers. And I realized that we are all just so captured by superheroes. We love superheroes and we love these Avengers. We love Iron Man. You know what I mean? Just so cool, so smooth with the red suit. We love, we love Black Panther. Come on, Wakanda. Where's all my Wakanda people? We just love Black Panther. What's all my Spider-Man people?

Starting point is 00:02:14 Just love Spider-Man. We love them all. We just love Hope. My son comes up to me and he comes up and he says, smash things. When he says, babe, Hulk smash things? And so he always comes. As soon as I come out, he hits me, I almost have had the duck. Because my son continues to be Captain America.

Starting point is 00:02:31 He's got the Captain America Shield. He'll throw it at my head. I got a duck. We are enamored by superheroes and I'm trying to question why do we love superheroes so much? Why? What is it about the superheroes? And one of the things I think we love about the superheroes is that they kind of have the duality about them. They're kind of they have this they have this human side and then they have this amazing superpower side that they're human, they're regular people, they date, their relationships, they have jobs, they go through stuff with their siblings. and then there's this side of them that can just destroy a country that could just just one strike you're out just that take we just got this power we love the duality that that there's this side of them that's got there's a romantic side and they have a father and there's issues in

Starting point is 00:03:21 the home and we can relate to their humanity but we look up and admire to the fact that they can just pu-puner power power to o'clock forever whatever it is and and it just amazes us because the truth is just like there's a duality in these superheroes, there's a duality in you. There is a part of you that's human, natural. You cry. You get emotional. You have romantic relationships.

Starting point is 00:03:47 You have friendship. But then there's this other side that can lay hands on the sick and the sick recover. There's another side that can prophesize somebody's future. But then there's this other side of you that gets angry and that's just, you know, you got moods and you get hungry. In the name of Jesus, you just want to eat. Truth be told, you ought to rejoice because many of you, you're like a superhero. You have love power, joy power, faith power.

Starting point is 00:04:15 You also have come back power. What is come back power? Come back power is the ability to overcome any obstacle, challenge, or difficulty. You have this innate ability. this instinct on the inside that you can come back from anything. You're weird, you're strange. This is weird.

Starting point is 00:04:44 We don't understand you. This is not your human side because your human side quits everything quickly. You start a relationship on Monday and you quit it by Wednesday because you're miscommunicate because you miss one text and it's over. That's your human side.

Starting point is 00:05:00 But then you got this other side. that can come back from anything. There's a part of you that don't throw in towers. There's a part of you that never says die. There's a part of you that refuses to quit. There's a part of you that has long suffering. There's a part of you that when you get down for the count, they can count up to eight, they can count to nine,

Starting point is 00:05:23 but ten, you are back on your feet. There's a part of you that no matter what comes your way, you just got to bounce back up. You can't stay down. No matter what is thrown your way, you got something called Come Back Pop. You've been through some stuff. Means you had to face some stuff that I ain't never seen. And you might be walking a little slow now.

Starting point is 00:05:44 You might just be chilling now. But little do we know if we saw the videos of who you once was. If we saw you in younger days, we see you marching. We see you tearing stuff up. We see him why? Because you have come back pop. That's the only reason why you made it to where you are today. You survive.

Starting point is 00:06:01 and environment that other people drown in. Environment is everything. Environment is everything. There's a quote. I don't know who's quoted it is, but there's a quote that says, everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb trees, it will spend the rest of its life thinking that it's dumb.

Starting point is 00:06:22 Let me say it again. Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb trees, it will spend the rest of its life thinking that it's done. You survive in environments other people drowning because water might drown you but is home for a fish. Difficulty is not, that's not water you drowning. That's perfect conditions for you to swim.

Starting point is 00:06:55 Difficulty? You a believer? This is what we do. Don't be careful when you compare yourself to people who don't have the anointing you have, who don't have the call that you have, who don't have the purpose that you have. I know what it did to them, but it only is going to do that to you. Difficulty doesn't kill who you are. It actually reveals who you are. Can I tell you something? You ain't met the real you until you have to use your power. That's the real you. You are treasure in jars of clay. Clay is not the real you How you

Starting point is 00:07:41 That's not the real you Smoking weed you That ain't the real you You is not the real you Because whenever you get into it You start to feel alive anxiety you That's not the real you

Starting point is 00:07:59 That clay has convinced you That's who you are Made you think that the shy scared, jealous doubting you is actually you That's not you That's the clay that you may be in, but that's not you.

Starting point is 00:08:19 Underneath that clay, there is a spirit you, there is a supernatural you, there is a treasure on the inside, and if that thing gets kicking, your clay is in trouble. But it's hidden in a jar of clay. The reason why you don't know your superpower is because you can't see your suit, because it's dressed in flesh. You ain't met the real you until you have to use your power. That's the real you. Thank you.
