When it comes to classic holiday movies, there are a lot more that fall into the Christmas category than Thanksgiving. For the latter, the classic example is probably the Steve Martin John Candy comedy, Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. But just like investing in stocks, there are movies that are hidden gems. Nell Minow is an expert in corporate governance, as well as a film critic. And in the 11 years we've been doing Motley Fool Money, Nell has been our most frequent guest. So there is no one better to suggest a film for Thanksgiving 2020.
Starting point is 00:01:42 You know, there's a movie that I love for Thanksgiving called What's Cooking. It's about four different families all preparing for Thanksgiving in their different ways. And they're all different cultures and ethnicities, and some are immigrants, and each one of them is dealing with family craziness and dysfunction in their own way. And it was made by the same director who went on after that to do Bend It Like Beckham, and I just love it. I think it's a real neglected gem. Whether you're looking to watch something with your family or you're looking to watch something by yourself so you can get a little break from your family, you can find What's Cooking streaming on Netflix and Amazon Prime. I'm Chris Hill, from everyone at The Motley Fool, have a safe, happy, low-stress and delicious
Starting point is 00:02:30 Thanksgiving. We'll see you next time.
