Hello and welcome to Move a Line presented by Circus Sports.
Ryan Noonan joined here, as always by Connor Allen.
Here to talk a little bit of defense today.
Connor, how are we doing?
Yeah, we're staying on your side of the ball today.
And I have a couple of thoughts here and there,
but your hands are, I would think in the dirt is an understatement
relative to the rest of the industry, I think.
So excited to hear your thoughts on some of these guys.
And not to mention on this.
show last year recommended Carson
Cushinger 60 to 1 is that what he ended up getting
And then our Discord as well
So that was not just LCLD
That actually won folks
A long shot can win
So excited to see if you got any other gems for us today
With the market cover last year
We had all three basically
You know the other main contender I guess James Pierce
Junior
I was definitely one of my guys last year
Flagplanted on him early
And you gave us a little scare
with the Swiss or the Swester 60s,
but we got home to begin with.
So yeah, it's, I love it.
Even more so in the weeds this year,
to be fair, Connor,
you know, I know this is not a IDP fantasy show or audience per se,
but if you so happen to be,
we have, you know,
turned the dials to 11 this year,
launched a couple new things today as well,
specifically.
We've gone from just listed rankings
to a full-on IDP projections.
You can mess around with different scoring.
platforms today specifically we put out a death chart hub you want to see
Tyrell Dodson's backup in Miami you know or a guy you can find it you can find his
projections through team level depth chart hub and then projections you can't really just draft off
of a projection ranking list you need to incorporate value over next available and while other stuff
was going on positional value put out a big board that makes it easy for you for redraft so that
stuff is live now on 4-4-4. Check that out if you're into the defensive stuff at all.
But yeah, we're going to stay in the betting realm specifically today. So very, very, very excited.
Yeah, there's, you know, you could see the dirt under the nails with the hand in the ground all
the time over here. But love the side of the ball and excited to unpack it today with you.
Who's also working on some of your own defensive stuff. So, you know, I know you're not in the
weeds per se, but, you know, the stuff that you got going on this year is as prepared as ever.
So before we kick off. Oh, go ahead.
No, I was going to say, and we can go into the Circa stuff here in a second, I think that with the player model, it's good at telling me who is good and who is bad, but I'm not sure it's good at telling me who's much better than the market like this price or worse than the market is priced.
That's something I'm still working on fixing, but I think I can probably get there somewhat.
So, but yeah, also, you know, this show, and we talked about it every, pretty every episode here, sponsored by Circa, $30 million guaranteed plus of content.
this year in Vegas.
We will be flying out.
They have circa millions,
which is pick five against a spread each week.
They have circuit survivor,
pick one team each week as well.
Should be an awesome year.
Tons of money.
Quarterly payouts,
full season payouts,
best,
worst, tons of ways to win.
So I like that.
Keeps you engaged the whole year
and should be a good time.
Yeah,
cannot wait.
You cannot wait to get out there.
More information in the show notes.
If you want to find out,
I'd be a part of that.
Check it out.
Again,
want to remind you,
move the line,
where you listen to podcast, move the line on YouTube as well.
Check that out.
That is new.
We're shifting over to the channel too.
So just, you know, search bar, type and move the line, find it, subscribe.
You can find all the other episodes.
You know, we've been going pretty much every day.
We'll be rolling out like, you know, about four episodes a week until we get to our season stuff.
So check it out if you want to look at anything else we did in the past.
We did a little bit more of offensive stuff yesterday, MVP discussion.
Check that out.
Today we're going to stay on the defensive side of the ball.
I'll talk coaching a little bit too before.
we wrap, look at the coach of the year awards.
So, all right, defensive player of the year.
Miles Garrett is your defending champ, basically.
It has won this a few times and is, I think, a much deserved favorite because
of the path to Miles Garrett having success, if you're just trying to think of it from a
projection standpoint, we're shifting from Cleveland.
Tino's not very good, who faced a lot of just a higher rate of rushing attacks.
because they're not a great football team.
Basically, you're looking at an 8% spike in terms of pass rate faced from the
ram side versus the brown side.
And then also a team like the Rams actually face more plays.
They throw the ball a lot, stops the clock, so they actually face a higher rate of
play.
So we could have Miles Garrett having more pass rush snaps against more passing teams this
year coming off of a 23 sack season.
So four and a half, five to one, deserved favorite.
that's a tough hill for me to climb.
We typically like to avoid the chalk whenever we can.
Deserved favorite or second favorite, I guess you would say,
with Will Anderson Jr., who is awesome, super young.
It still has a massive upside tied to a great defense there.
In Houston, as Harry, is 8 to 1.
Ayn Hutchinson, which I think is someone without talking to you beforehand,
is someone I think makes sense for you based off of some of the Lions love.
They're around 10 to 1 on Fandul.
They're kind of their own tier.
top three. Then you kind of drop down to a bunch of the other guys here.
So, all right. So those are our top three on the odds board of Miles Garrett.
A little bit of a tier drop, Will Anderson Jr. and Aiden Hutchinson and kind of their top three.
Oh, again, season sack record is kind of an outlier in terms of team performance.
It's not always tied to defensive or like, you know, team success performance.
And from a win-loss standpoint, now again, when you set the season sack record,
you're kind of going to get everyone's attention.
doesn't really matter what your team does.
But any thoughts on how to attack Miles Garrett
or your thoughts they were on, you know,
Will Anderson, Jr. and Hutchinson kind of in the top tier.
Yeah, this is an interesting award
because I think the favorite wins a reasonable amount of time
because we had a lot of back in the day,
JJ Watt, Aaron Donald, you know, like repeat winners.
I think for a while it was just basically one of them
was going to win.
We would do this show.
And so a lot of the favorites would win
when there was not favorites.
There was the long shots kind of came from the secondary.
Svon Gilmore at 65 to 1 in 2019.
Pat Sertan at 155 to 1 in 2024, I think.
So those are the darts there, but generally based on the research I've been seeing is like the defense,
it should be a player on a pretty good team from a good defense.
They don't always have to be a pretty good team.
Obviously, as you can point out with Miles Garrett.
But generally, that's been the direction here, not as like hard of a gating as like an MVP award
or anything there.
But I thought that was interesting.
in terms of my top defenses, it's pretty in line with the odds board here.
So I have Rams, Houston, and then I have the Steelers up there, which is pretty interesting, I thought.
But a lot of that probably on the pass rush.
But then, yeah, I mean, lions are kind of near the top hovering there.
Seattle, obviously, as well up there.
So there's, in terms of values, I don't mind a guy like Aidan Hutchinson.
I think that's interesting.
If you wanted to go with a different Texan, that wouldn't be that crazy either.
So I don't know, where, where's your head out with this award?
And you got any crazy long shots or anything?
Yeah, I always struggle with the gap between Will Anderson Jr. and Daniel Hunter on the odds boards.
We typically see a little bit of a wider gap even than what we see right now, you know, where you can get DeNeil Hunter at like 25.
Like, there's times in the past where, let me even last year, if you're just, again, it's not a sack award.
But we have had pass rushers win nine in the last 12.
It does typically lend that way to your point.
you need kind of like the top of the board sackwise to have a down year and then to see kind of like an outlier performance in the secondary or a guy like you know certain who's tied to an elite defense of performance um but like you get three more sacks for denial hunter last year than then then uh willinerson junior now will Anderson junior has some underlying stats that show that there's a ton of upside there comparatively he just plays fewer snaps than some of his peers at the top of the board so that actually impacts some of his counting stats.
stats, which would be a little bit impactful.
You know, T.J. Watt, no one gets like doubled and chipped more than T.J. Watt.
It's really started to play itself on terms of like his just raw stats.
I don't hate it, though.
This is a bigger number than we typically see for T.J. Watt.
If you were to, you know, buy in on some of like the pro-stealer thoughts and thought that there's a path for them to exceed team level expectations,
obviously that leads to probably 16, 17, highly productive T.J. Watt games.
and I think there's these awards love narratives
and that's almost like a low key bounce back
like not comeback player of the year type of situation
but like he's been hurt a little bit the last couple years
and if he comes back and we see like Pete T.J. Watt
I could see some voters wanting to get behind that.
I think you can make the same case for Nick Bosa
in a similar regard who is the same dude.
He's absolutely a lead on a person that basis.
Electric dynamic, quick pressures, first step,
all like the next gen stat stuff.
Love him.
It just doesn't stay on the field enough.
So if you happen to like San Francisco, I think down the board a little bit for, you know,
someone like a Nick Bosa would make some sense if you want to kind of flow it in the 25 or shorter range,
which is to your point where we see a lot of winners.
Yeah.
And I'm looking at the Steelers defense.
I guess just maybe do a double take here.
I'm looking at the starters like Joey Porter Jr., Jamel Dean and Asante Samuel maybe starting this corner.
I don't know.
We have all them as well above average.
Jalen Ramsey, potential.
in some capacity as well.
Then linebackers, we don't even have great.
I don't even have graded well,
and I think you like Peyton Wilson and Patrick Queen a good bit.
I like Payne Wilson.
Yeah.
And then along the line, T.J. Watt, Cam Award, Alex Highsmith,
all good.
You know, so when you combine all that,
I guess it makes, my point is I guess it makes sense why an aggregate,
they're popping as a pretty good defense.
Nick Herbig, you didn't even mention.
Actually, he led the league in Pellee.
rush win rate last year, sign an extension.
So it's kind of a three-headed monster.
I've always talked about that.
Like the elite defenses have three dudes that you can rotate.
The Steelers definitely have that.
So that makes some sense.
There's a couple of names further down the board if you wanted to drop down that I think are interesting.
Another guy that I think fits some of the narratives that we like and I think a team that you like.
If you are pro-cultz, Leatu Latu at 60 to 1, I think makes a lot of sense.
There's a path for Layatilatu to have 12 sacks season, really be the anchor of that team's
defense.
Again, another guy that has anything better underlying metrics than he's had actual raw stats
so far in the league and coming in a year three, like him quite a bit.
If you're bullish, I think, on Jacksonville running a back, I think Josh Heinz Allen is
another guy, another example, same kind of category, way outperformed from an underlying stat metric,
his like raw counting stats last year.
So the sacks are there, plays a high level of snaps,
can kind of accumulate tackles.
And again, sacks are nice because they can be like strip sacks,
turnover leading sacks to lead to scoop and scores.
Those are like buzzy narrative highlight creating things
that are impactful for an award like this.
So those guys are a little bit further down the board.
In terms of like deep, deep, deep down,
it's a little tricky.
I do want to stay kind of in the edge.
drusher space because I think it's just really thin for offball linebackers in corners to get
there. It's really hard to handicap it. You would just need kind of a perfect scenario that's,
I think, really hard to see from where we're standing now. I'll go back to Oddafe Owe with the
commanders. Big free agent signing for them. I think he sees more snaps than he's seen ever
before. It was so good down the stretch for the Chargers last year. And I think just a nice
spot, you know, get some games against some pass heavy teams and accumulate some sacks
against some quarterbacks to take high levels of sacks in his division. You know, he's like
100 and 125 to 1 if you're looking for like a triple digit long shot that could, you know,
pop up a dozen sacks and all of a sudden find himself in the mix. And again, might be LCLV,
but like that could be 40 in October. You feel pretty good about it. That's interesting.
Hey, you did mostly mention pass rushers there. No interest in any like Certan sauce. It's
70-ish. I mean, I feel like it should be a little bit longer even, probably, right?
It should be. I would have more interest in just like a dynamic linebacker talent that would
continue to ascend like a Jack Campbell, you know, for the Lions who just can, you know,
put up four or five sacks, lead the league in tackles. They're all of a sudden 13 and four.
And he's awesome. And Hutch is just okay. But you want to kind of give them, you know,
some sort of like a little bit of acknowledgement for their awesome defensive strides and like all these other top tier ad rushers are just okay like i can get sold on projecting that cleaner than i can
a random corner you know it's just tough like interceptions are so volatile yeah they need a ton of picks i'm sure
or into play an elite defense that's mostly secondary driven like i feel you need a narrative that certan and them had basically
of just this is the best secondary in the league,
best secondary we've ever seen,
led by this guy, basically,
in which I don't know if any of them really get there, to be honest.
It's like Trent McDuffie with the Rams, sure,
but like if Trent McDuffie is doing that,
it's probably because Miles Garrett was like wreaking havoc, right?
So, you know, McDuffie, I guess,
would be the angle for that kind of narrative, right?
Or Derek Stingley, you know, or, you know,
even at that point, just go, you know,
Camari Lasseter in Houston,
like those guys could benefit from the, you know,
impacted their edge group ahead of them.
So not a great spot to shop down the board, in my opinion.
I do think some of these alphas make a ton of sense.
So, you know, people love Will Anderson Jr.
And like the Texans are awesome.
Like, I'm not jumping at 8 to 1.
I'm not sure it gets longer,
but I wouldn't understand if, you know,
if he's the guy, I guess I would say.
ascending like 23s awesome
it's awesome interesting
makes sense
all right
defensive rookie year
so you know this is one of those times where
love this market
if you're not a 4-4-4 subscriber
you've missed out on some
electric
CLV already
and looking at the top of the board now
it kind of flows in the order for the most part
of how these guys were selected in the draft
you know David Bailey
up there towards the top.
Ruben Bain, who slipped a little bit, is kind of right there,
kind of both right around five to one.
And, you know, then you drop down into the Rvel Reese,
Sunny Stiles, Caleb Downs, range where those guys, you know,
came off the board in first round.
And then you get into some of the other second tier guys,
you know, the Mansour Delanes.
Again, same situation, maybe a little bit easier path to get there
for defensive rookie there at corner than it is defensive.
offensive player of the year.
Then you get into some of the other linebackers
that have some nice opportunities with like maybe
Jacob Rodriguez, but like we pushed out
CJ Allen on draft day.
That's 75 to 1.
Colts will likely be the Colts green dot
every down linebacker.
Connor's bullish on the Colts. I like that.
And now you're looking at 15 to 1 on C.J. Allen.
And I'm actually even getting a generous cash out offer
from Fandwell to get out of that bet
when they'll not be doing so.
But I mean, relative to what you typically see free flop for a cash out offer.
Like they would like me to close that one up.
So we're going to hold out to 75s.
So I'll again, subscribers got that.
So got to get in there.
Get in the show notes.
Find out how to get in the Discord and get those offerings.
So anything to jump out to you towards the top of the board.
Then we can talk about some long shots.
This feels like, I mean, it drops off a cliff pretty fast.
I don't know.
Maybe I'm wrong here.
But it feels like, again, there's not a ton of.
dumpster diving to be doing here outside of what you already did with, you know, on draft day,
the market just put him there because of, I don't know, draft capital, I would assume, or in his
position, didn't really know what to do with it. But the real ball knowers, aka you knew his role
was going to be a little bit more prominent there. So that's exciting. I guess the only notes that
I had here would be, I believe edge rushers won, what, five of the last seven years, draft capital
helps but matters less than opportunity, which we saw last year with Carson, Carson,
Schwessinger. I don't know why I can't pronounce his name.
I'm missing up the sh and the show.
It's tough. It's tough. Yeah, that's a tough name. Carson. I was going to call him Carson from now on.
That's usually what I end up doing for long time listeners of the show. I usually just stick
with the first name. Yeah. We're not on a first name basis.
You're not going to take on the last name. Just do Carson. It's fine.
Yeah. Just leave it. But yeah, I think you pretty much nailed it. I'm not super interested in
a mansor Delane. I don't think of that.
this point. I think he's probably got a lot to choose. Sunny Stiles is a fun player,
but I think he's like a traditionally fun football player. I don't know how good he is going
to be actually in helping the team win. I have some questions about the Giants. And then maybe
I got like a Keem Mesidor. I don't know. It comes on right away. He's old and just produces right
away. That's possible, I guess, too. But is that enough at 14 to 1? I'm not so sure. So I think
we got a good start in the market with
CJ Allen and we'll probably continue to add to that
throughout the season. Yeah, if I were to go
and shop towards the top of the board,
I do think that Ruben Bain is a deserved favorite
slash co-favorit. I think Ruben Bain
compared to David Bailey, if we even think about
going back to draft season and how we're handicapping
these players, Ruben Bland doesn't not come off the field.
I think he's just going to be able to accumulate
accounting stats in a way that David Bailey isn't
who's going to be a rotational only, you know, likely pass rush specialist, right?
So he just needs to get home a lot more on fewer snaps, whereas Ruben Bain can accumulate stats
and sacks on base downs.
I don't think we're going to see that much for David Bailey.
So I like Ruben Bain definitely has like the dog in him and, you know, the chip on his
shoulder from where he fell in the draft.
Caleb Downs is going to play a role that's really fantasy friendly.
you're basically playing like the star nickel you know kind of Kyle Hamilton Nick
Emory close to the line of scrimmage wreak havoc rush cover the slot I think that's it's
interesting now again it's like 850 is not a great price and it's it's gotten shorter you know
it was you know right around between 10 and 12 for a little while here and he apparently
is taking some money so it's not a number that I'm wanting to jump in I just think that he
is in line to have a pretty good season.
Sunny Stiles could be an anchor for the commanders.
We're talking about the commander spending all this money on defense.
And like if Sunny Stiles, who I do think is an interesting talent,
again, it's another situation where like I just wish that price was,
was different than 850.
So I got the C.J. Allen one.
I also bet Jacob Rodriguez at 20.
I don't recommend anyone betting Jacob Rodriguez at 20 right now.
It just does not have a clean path to playing time right now.
I think that's going to happen sooner than later.
But he doesn't have it right now.
that's a little tough when he's going to be going up against guys.
They're getting meaningful reps on day one.
Then I have a couple others way down the board.
And I think that are interesting.
I think one in particular is interesting.
One's a little thinner than the other.
But we're talking 200 to 1 on both these guys.
We're kind of doing the same thing with Swessinger, right?
Where historically has kind of been a first round pick,
kind of a situation now. Swessinger was
33rd, who was the first pick in the second round.
Swessinger was the first off-ball linebacker
since Shaq Leonard, who was like
the first off-off ball linebacker to win the award
since like 1989. So we don't have a huge
trend over the last 30-something years or so
of off-ball linebackers winning the award. But
kind of a path and it's shifting a little bit.
So my favorite, again, 200 to 1.
So think about what we need to be doing unit-wise,
just sprinkles.
you know, beer and pizza money here.
Buffalo linebacker, Caleb alarms, or 200 to 1 on Fandul, MGM.
Like this kid a lot coming out of TCU.
Linebacker situation in Buffalo is kind of a mess.
Both spots.
You know, linebacker won.
Terrell Bernard and a lot of injuries last year didn't play well.
Linebacker two really bad.
Like they do not want Darien Williams on the field.
Like I think it's going to be alarms.
or maybe even from day one.
And he's tied to a team that's one of the best in the league.
It's going to have a lot of island games.
This guy's good in putting up county stats at offball linebacker.
And again, it kind of coincides with none of these other guys
towards the top putting up massive county numbers.
This guy is going to be an every down liebacker.
It's not as clean as the Swessinger one was last year.
But like he shouldn't be 200 to 1 because he's got a real path to playing time.
So like him quite a bit.
The same path would be.
in Dallas. This is a little bit thinner, but Jayshon Barham, transitioning from just kind of like
a freak athlete in Michigan. They put them all over the field, you put them at edge, put him in
linebacker. They're going to use them at offball linebacker. They continue to be rumored for
finding anyone at offball linebacker that is let go or anything. So they're in the market. So there's
a path. They don't love what they have there right now. And Barum's a great, great athlete.
So there's a path for this guy to step into, you know, maybe in every down roll linebacker.
And again, if you're going to have a guy that's going to be playing almost every snap,
you know, I don't think they should be at 201.
So again, we're dumpster diving here.
We've skipped, you know, not even the next couple tiers.
We went all the way down from like 20 to 1 to 201.
Those I think are fun looks.
If you're looking to just kind of have a little bit of sprinkle in action, maybe have some CLV here over the next couple months.
I can't say that I was familiar with either of those guys.
I'm not going to lie to you.
But definitely agree on the Buffalo.
floats, stuff, that makes a ton of sense.
And then the Cowboys look, that guy's 75 to 1 right now on, I believe, Caesars.
So, you know, 200 to 1 on Vandual.
Yeah.
Not a bad look.
I think that's pretty interesting.
Yeah, I mean, again, it's 200 to 1.
You really don't have to put much on it, forget about it, you know, not even, you know, miss a coffee for a day and put it on there.
And it'll end up being worth it if it somehow hits.
Yeah.
And if, you know, get out of it, you can, you know, probably get out of it.
And, you know, if it looks like you can't win, you can, it's definitely worth,
I think worth having a worth having a sprinkle.
Because, like, I mean, Cowboys fans yesterday were disappointed when Miami extended Jordan Brooks at linebacker.
They thought maybe there's a chance that, you know, they could cut him, save some money.
You know, Dallas fans really wanted them.
They want to find an answer, you know, outside of what they have on the roster.
They said on day, on draft day, that Barham is going to be off ball linebacker.
They said it right away.
He was kind of a hybrid.
You're going to put him at edge.
Like, no, we like our edge room.
We want to see this kid at offball linebacker.
So he's going to get a shot.
If he can win a job in camp, you know, gets himself even, maybe throw him in the depth chart.
An injury happens ahead of him, which has happened to the two guys ahead of them quite often.
There's a path there for playing time.
So whereas I think El Arms Orr goes out and wins the job in camp.
And then, again, elite football team of a lot of island games,
he's popping up, you know, splash play.
on island games and puts up, you know,
eight, nine, ten tackles a couple of times.
Like,
that's,
that's pretty interesting.
You know,
we didn't get a lot of island game,
Carson Swessinger.
He was just having to,
you know,
put it together week in and week out.
So,
yeah,
those are,
I think,
pass for us to hit these,
these long shots and get some value.
But Ruben Bain,
I think,
is a deserved favorite of the top
if you're looking to swing a little bit.
So,
all right,
coach of the year.
This one is the toughest for me early in the season,
eight of the nine last nine coach of the year winners were either first or second year with their team.
So it's a really tough Bill Belichick, Andy Reed, Dan Campbell type situation at this point.
Like just we haven't seen it historically.
It's also, as we've learned the hard way, a exceeding expectations award more than anything else.
So any thoughts to jump out to you now?
This is one I think that fluctuates so much week to week as we get even to like November
December.
And that's why I almost hate betting the chalk because you have Harbaugh is the plus 600.
First off, I'm not super high on the team.
So I think that would be tough.
Jesse Minter plus 900.
Kellyn Moore would be someone that I like.
We've talked about the Saints making the jump.
14 to 1 on Fandul.
I don't think I hate that.
That's a decent price.
Joe Brady, I'm worried honestly, because he was already there with the team and the team
was already good and the team is good, I think he might get dinged for.
it. Unless they're awesome, and unless they win 14 or 15 games, I don't really, it's just business as
usual for them, I think, in my opinion. But again, this is kind of similar to comeback player
of the year where it's very opinion-based, very much the writers are all talking and the voters,
and they figure out who they like, and that's who gets voted on. What level of impact Diana Rossini
had on all that? We'll find out. I do think that she helped.
I guess bring rumors together and whatnot.
You know,
she was obviously really plugged in for,
for one reason or another,
but we'll see.
We'll be plugged in some situations.
Yeah.
Either way,
the people who vote on this are just to have their own opinions on a bunch of
random stuff.
Every year you see like the winner of the MVP,
not even get a third place vote from some writer because he wants to be different.
So one of them voted for some goofball last year.
Voted for Justin Herbert.
MVP.
And then left Josh Allen or Moams off, which I mean,
congrats.
You're a voter.
You can do whatever you want.
Think differently.
I guess that's okay.
It just looks ridiculous in hindsight.
So.
Yeah.
I'm kind of with you.
It's just not one that I want to get in it right now at all.
I think Kellan Moore is the one that I thought we would both maybe highlight because he
does kind of fit the, you know, trend of being first or second year with his team,
um, ascending team.
There's a path for them to exceed.
expectations when the division, all those different things.
That's, but like 12 to 1 is not, I'm not tripping over myself to want to get that,
knowing that to the point that I think you made early too, even if you like the Saints,
they might be a better path and point of entry market wise on the Saints later based off of
the schedule.
So, I mean, if you like Kellemore, if they start to ascend later in the season, maybe we're
getting that at 20, 25 and you didn't have to have the, you know, preseason 12.
So the one that's interesting to me is also Ben Johnson.
but I'm also like, we're also just worried about the bears, right?
I just, I think he's really good and I think that he could be,
all the things that we agree on why the bears are in line to regress.
Ben Johnson is the type of coach that maybe is good enough to like coach them out of it.
And if he is that guy, I think the market would love to reward him with coach of the year.
So again, I don't think you need to jump in at 22.
It's just another one of those like pushing pull situations where it's like,
oh, I think that's going to be hard for the bears to have any sort of
of, you know, just natural luck that they had last year.
It's going to regress.
But Penn Johnson, I think, is really good stuff.
Totally.
What, I mean, any opinion on Dan Quinn 40 to 1?
I guess, but like it's just, I don't like Dan Quinn, but I think we talked to the team
and the potential to bounce back coming off a down year.
Could they win the division?
I mean, that's kind of a long shot.
But if they did win the division, 40 to 1, he'd be very much.
much in play. Totally. Yeah. I think that's the right way to be thinking about it is aligning with
these teams that we think are maybe can exceed their win total. I think there's a strong correlation
between those two things, right? Like, do you have a path to win your division? Can you exceed your
win total? We should probably be considering the coach of the year in that market as well because
the others are a little bit tricky because I'm with you on the top of the board. The Harbar,
Minter, Grady Tier just really tough. Like, Sala, I don't know that Sal is the guy, but they're
definitely the worst team in.
that division. We think the other three teams are all pretty interesting. So, like, are they
winning that division? Like, what's the path for Robert Sala? So that's why I think he kind of
have to stop to kill him more. But I think the Dan Quinn thing is, is interesting. They're not
afraid to give it to someone they've given it to before. Right. And he's not, you know,
we taught you talked about the Bill Belichick, Andy Reid, oh, they just like won't win. I don't
think he's anywhere near that level of untouchable he won't win because he has won stuff in the
past i yeah i don't know i the more i think about it i think that's an interesting speculative
option even if i don't really think dan quinn's a good coach dan campbell's the other because we've had he's
been like towards the top of the board a few times and it feels like one of these situations we're
like you can just have this like you know peter shrieger talking about it on a monday morning like
hey, you know, who just keeps getting, you know, left to the side.
Coach of the year time, Dan Campbell, don't look now, but the Lions are 10 and 2.
Like, should this guy not be the favor for Coach of the Year?
Then all of a sudden, the market teams and like, you know, even though he's a little bit outside.
Again, you're very pro-Lions this year.
I think that, you know, it makes sense.
It's another look.
Just tough to jump in now, I think.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's it.
Nothing.
That's my coach of the year, I think, is fun.
late in the season.
It's definitely better than
comeback player of the year,
but they're my least favorite too
because it's just tougher to actually quantify
what's going on to,
you know,
what's impacting voters' thoughts here to,
this is not as clean as on-field performance.
Yeah, for sure.
The subjective awards are the toughest.
Correct.
Right.
Sean McVeigh, Andy Reid,
not winning this award.
I'm sorry.
Not a chance.
It doesn't happen.
All right. Anything else with the people before you're out?
Don't think so. Check a, we're going to release a bunch more props.
Just kind of waiting on some more liquidity here. All the best ones.
Pretty thin liquidity pool right now for where you're able to get them down at.
So we're holding the bunch there.
I'm going to be releasing those.
Tweeted out some fun alt parlay of four unders and four overs from the division.
And it didn't tax me on the correlation, even though the unders and the overs were in the same division.
which I thought was pretty interesting.
Because I plugged into all individually into a parlay calculator
without the actual bets.
And it was actually about,
it was the same.
So I'm assuming they didn't tax correlation.
Don't know why.
But again,
it's a long shot.
But still,
go check that out.
It's a fun bet.
And I agree with it.
You know,
like lions over.
I did bet bears under eight and a half.
But, you know, again,
it's an alt under.
So.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Look at the alt.
That's all right.
That's nice.
All right.
Check it out.
