Hello and welcome to move the line presented by Sharpstack. Ryan Newton joined here as always by Connor Allen, a little Monday night football, a little picking off some prop lines. Sharpstack, maybe a little bit of bemoaning prevent defenses on a Monday morning. Connor, how was week one?

Yeah, the gambling gods giveeth and they take it. We, in our Circa entry, got there on Minnesota through just a wild series of events and then were robbed on the Eagles. who I thought pretty well dominated the game for the most part. He really looked pretty bad offensively.

Defense played awesome. And then two minutes left, only up eight, I think, seven, you know, eight. They just played prevent. Like they had just like sat back 10, 15 yards and, you know, the commanders dink to dunk their way down the field for back to cover. And then only to, of course, not get the two-point conversion. So, you know, that's how that goes. And then prop-wise was just a wild, wild ride.

The carry props were just the most tilting things to watch ever. So gave a little bit back there, but overall, fine. You know, I would say it was okay, okay week one. And I know you crushed. That was awesome to see. It's a good week. It could have been better. I mean, we both were on the T.J. Hawkinson.

You always remember the ones you lost. I always start with those. I thought the T.J. Hawkinson handicap and Reed was pretty good under three and a half perceptions. And then, you know, we lose Kyler to a concussion. And Carson Wentz, who's been a tight end kingmaker for most of his career, comes in. does exactly that baptizes us in a pretty big way with Hawkinson. And that one, that one stung. But yeah, tackles went well.

I feel like it was a good week overall. I had some good stuff. Some ladders on Jalen Newell helped pay for some of the day. Would have made a really nice chunk of money because I had took a pretty, I built a tackle parlay that had Arvel Reese over five and a half last night. And he got to five and then just Dallas never get the ball back. Just begging for that last tackle. It would have been a fantastic weekend.

Otherwise, still very, very, very good. So, and shout out to the chat. I know the chat had a good prop drop show. There was a lot of good, like, you know, Patrick's in the chat again. Shout out to Patrick, super sharp. Roll with us for a number of years. I know a couple different angles that Patrick shouted out on the prop drop show won. You know, Donnie baseball.

Donnie was in the chat for prop drop. He had some winners. So shout on chat. Good. Yeah, the chat was crushing it. I actually think, who was it? Someone brought up, was it PD? PD brought up PD Rock.

He brought up Tyquan Thornton in this game. So we can get to that as we're probably just going to go through the game. We'll get a couple sharp stacks lean, just rapid fire through Monday football. But we'll definitely get to that because there could be some good angles there. There's a lot of things going on that there's a lot of uncertainty in this game. We have a couple of running quarterbacks or I guess I would say quarterbacks that can leverage their athleticism and scrambling ability and they did a lot last year that are coming off of pretty severe injuries now again like not severe enough to you know impact their ability to play this game but it makes me a little nervous in terms of you know how much they're going to leverage that here we've talked you know we've heard

patrick mahomes say i'm going to be a little bit more reluctant to run in like in traffic so like biting his time in pocket to be able to scramble you know obviously i think he could break contain outside but it was such a weapon for him last year it's obviously a big part of what Boenix does as well. You can see here the top play if you're using the EV tool would be a Patrick Mahomes rushing under if you happen to have score. They're a little bit off market at under two and a half. But just I guess start there, a big picture in terms of what we would look at for the rushing attempts and rushing ability for these two quarterbacks. Yeah, I was diving into these two guys here. So like normally in Mahomes line is like low 20s, right? We're looking at a low 20s rushing line.

playoffs high 20s you know that makes sense because obviously we know they run more in the playoffs now we're getting a line of 13 and a half 14 and a half I know I mean I'm not taking the over like I thought about taking the under it looked like it moved down a little bit here let's see what it opened at I guess 13 and a half only showing here 14 and a half 50 it was 15 for a little bit on draft kings uh and then on the other side like bo nix was I mean routinely clearing this kind of stuff for a while it's been hovering around in the 15, 16 and a half range it looks like per book. So I'm not touching them. Like if anything,

I'm leaning under. I thought about, and I might make a Bleach-Tur-Nation fantasy slip that just has both rushing under just for fun. Now, I'm still going through the board, still thinking about if there's anything else they want. I don't think I'm going to have an official play. But I don't know,

but maybe the inverse is true. Maybe just lean over, just play over on both and hope that they're both healthy because they both practiced for a while. They both like instinctually are going to try and run, I think, from time of time or scramble. I don't think that them being injured necessarily makes them less likely instinctually to do it. Now they might just start moving and be like, no, that's not working as well as I thought and take a seat.

There was also, though, clips of Patrick Holmes in the summer, I don't know if you remember, like darden around. Like, you know, scrambling in full 11 on 11s. So like, this is the risk with all these lines that are like adjusted by 30, 40 percent like with this kind of stuff is like it's kind of baked in. And so I worry. and like one run can easily bust any of these. You know what this is? This would have been a fantastic. Well, actually, I don't know if you have the stomach for it.

This would have been like like points bet 101 or back. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Low risk. Yeah. A ton of upside. If for some reason, Mahomes is just scooting. Points bet.

Shout out to rest in peace. The ability to actually, not just the book, but to actually point bet. That like unique style of game that they had was kind of. a wild. So yeah just in terms of the game. This is our, the last leg of our circumillions week. I think you know, we touched on the Eagles one. Hard to again, bemoan the Eagles one. That was a unanimous decision. We were all, uh, we were aligned on the Eagles there. And there's another one. We were both very much comfortably on Denver, um, with the points. It's moved a little bit. Um, one and a half. Wow. That's, you know, on Novig, two and a half

draft Kings. Yeah. So back and forth a little bit. I still very much like Denver. Denver money line. Any thoughts on, you know, big picture stuff in the game? Yeah, I think just the way these two teams are trending, Denver is the side here. Even, yeah, even plus two, just take the money line. I think it's still probably a good look here. Is the last leg of our survivors, you mentioned. I think the defense is going to give them a lot of trouble. I think Jalen Wattle in the office is really exciting. The ascension of Pat Bryan is really exciting. The Chiefs, meanwhile, left tackle Josh Simmons is out. They were already a little bit iffy on the offensive line. So again, there's a lot of, I guess, issues here. And then Patrick

Martin was returning from injury, you know, again, just really uncertain. So I think that they're just like two teams seemingly trending in opposite directions. And I think there's a good time to take advantage of that. I think one of the other props I think is maybe interesting in the market in terms of like some of the offseason drumbeat stuff that we heard was Kenneth Walker being more involved in the passing game. You and I have a long, tenuous relationship with running back receiving props. They just oftentimes seem really good on paper. And they just never really go very well.

So like I just, I'm always very reluctant. Like even when I really like this week, I shared, you know, our staff chat this week. And I'm like, hey, can you someone talk me off of this? You know,

I had it ready for prop drop. We didn't have the stones to send it. I didn't have, I hadn't bet it yet. So I was good. We fell short. I thought Kenneth Gainwell was like way too low in his number. Even thinking that, hey,

Bucky German's got a nice role too, but I really think this is going to be a nice little spot for, for Kenny Gainwell. One catch three yards. You know, who did get there is Bucky. So like the handicap was kind of directionally correct. But like you,

someone else, someone else had the role that's just like part of the problem with these, these damn running back receiving overs is that sometimes it's just a different guy than you think. people thought that maybe Jaylon Warren would have that role. We get a little more carries from Rico Donald. But guess what? Rico Dowell is a pretty good past catching running back.

And you got a bunch of targets, didn't get as many, you know, as canvases we were hoping for. So, yeah, they're just tough. But yeah, it's a little, it's low. But like, I'm not stoked to bet it. And look, you see some varying numbers out there in the market. And this is up a little bit even from where it was, I think, this morning with people probably betting it today, right?

Like, we typically see this. some nice numbers that we like maybe on a Monday. And like people start chasing the dragon for the weekend. You know, they want to get on stuff. They would get late Sunday night or early Monday morning. And Kenne Walker's, I think, gone from like 16, 17 to the load him in 20s. And something I think is worth noting here, too, is if you go to Sharpstack and you go to the prop screen here, which I believe is free for now, you can see liquidity over here. someone is trying to post $4,000, $4.1,000 of liquidity on the over, so they would like the under, essentially, so they're putting to plus the over. And there's only $200 in the other side. This is a line that is two yards lower than the market, or at least a yard lower than Fanduel, two yards lower than draft kings. So I'm going to give you the, you know, the windhorst, you know, there you go. Like, no, how could that happen, right? Now, why is that happening? So, again, maybe not indicative of anything, but there's a couple of, you know, as we've been scanning the board today, interesting positions that people are clearly taking. So, yeah, I think other people are interested in also buying it on the under on Kenneth Walker's

receiving profit. I know another group got in the over early. I think it was like 14 and a half, 15 and a half, two and a half receptions. And so that seemed up here a bit. There's three and a half receptions on Kenneth Walker here as well, which is quite rich. And it was just bet up to minus 200 on the under looks like this after or this morning essentially. So yeah, it's pretty crazy. It's just cool also that we get into the look at this stuff.

Like I can just click around and like see line movement, figure out what's moving where, figure out all that stuff. It's awesome. Yeah. I mean, look at that. $10,000 available on the under there on Kalshi. And, you know, if you want to go ahead and take the other side, it's not a lot. There's not a lot available for you.

That's also true. I didn't even see it on Kalshi. She there. That's, uh, it's even more nice. Yeah. Any on the yards there?

Let's see. Do they, I guess what, well, the problem is they do yards really weird. They do it in like increments of. Yeah. Yeah.

But should be a 20 and a half here. But sometimes it's, it's just strange the way that they do that. I think it's, I think receiving yards like 25, 50, 75, 100.

Like, it's, it's bizarre. Yeah. Patrick in the chat with a, I think, a good way to frame the entire, of this game is when we're, especially week one,

we're still trying to make some guesses in terms of, well, you know, how do the ancillary receivers work out in terms of, you know, snap and target share. And then we obviously now have kind of a three-headed monster in the backfield for Denver. J.K. Dobbins, very efficient. And I think above average is a pure runner when he is in the lineup and healthy. That doesn't happen very often, but he's currently healthy.

R.J. Harvey, that showed to have a pretty dynamic skill set last year, both on the ground and in the air. it's something that they definitely like to do. Sean Payton Offices like to get the running backs involved in the passing game. And then you have Jonah Coleman. What does he take from either of those? Does he take anything at all? It makes handicapping any of the running back stuff on the Denver side,

I think a little bit thin. But I guess like stealing outcomes or nothing would be how I would say. I personally would just sit it out and just wait and see. That's just for me. Probably a little bit more risk averse. But I think if you were to take swings, I would love to know where your thoughts are. And is there anyone in particular or how would you go about it?

Yeah, my first thought, I looked at the Harvey line. I was like, wow, 18 yards seems really low. And then I go back and I look at RJ Harvey splits with J.K. Dobbins'n's active. He had one game with more than seven carries out of the 10 games total where J.K. Dobbins was active. And I believe it was the game that Dobbins got banged up at that point. And so, I mean, his median there was like four carries. So do you really want to be betting over 18 and a half on four carries?

probably not you know like again i thought he'd be more like a seven-ish carry guy a game which which which case probably puts him a little bit over but if he doesn't get there that's not not a good spot to be so that was a tough situation there for me uh but i'm also not running to necessarily take the dobbins overs either so for me it's kind of a stay away kenneth walker stuff like we talked about the receiving the rushing i think like again in a normal game script good offensive line 64 seems really low i think he's going to see the bulk of the work here but in this situation where we think that they're going to be losing. I can't say that I'm super interested here.

Rushing attempts, though, for him is 16.5. I don't know, probably slightly in over there. I don't know what your numbers have. Yeah, slightly in over, but it's just, it's not something I want to step in front of here in this spot. But, yeah, slightly not bettable for me. I think else that you had a handicap that you like from this game, other than maybe some of the stuff of the EV tool pops for us,

is they're, I mean, very, very interested in Jaylen Wall stuff. I'm just interested to see how the secondary kind of fares on the chief side. Chamari Connor is going to be out. The box safety, pretty good tackle guy for them. That complicates it a little bit because now it's one more thing that I don't have answered heading into week two because there's just a lot of bodies that can play corner. And I just don't know how they're sussing it out yet. So that's kind of a wait and see.

But yeah, I do just, if I were chasing anything, I think this is interesting to me. Yeah, our guy swerve liked Pat Bryant. So he liked his over. I think he played over two and a half receptions. We said at 25 and a half yards. I think that crept up a little bit, yeah, 24 and a half on draft kings. And Fandu at one point. So, yeah, I mean, I think that his overs are pretty interesting.

I worry that there's a little bit of Terrence Ferguson. the Pat Bryan hype right now of like had a great off season is going to come out and play a lot and be a good player, but just it doesn't come together right away. And he's going to be a great flop-lag candidate to buy at some point, another point. I worry a little bit about that because 25 and a half for a third receiver is not necessarily a line that I'm stoked to play, to be honest. But over the course of the season, I think that this is probably the right side. So yeah, I think that's kind of interesting. Rishi Rice under yards, I think could be interesting.

there we brought uh someone brought up in the chat here as well of 63 they got it 63 it's down to 52 he his ad dots really low but he could also just catch like eight balls just sitting in between the zone zones and like that's you know that's gonna get him over so um probably a pass for me at this price honestly i don't have a ton here like Kelsey under is probably somewhat interesting as well i would guess like honestly like again i just i think it's it's time for him like i may it might be more of a wait and see where he's at and how he's moving but i'm very much ready to fade kelsey it's time yeah it's time um you know it's 42 and a half um interesting liquidity and maybe just because it's a public person people just there's more casual money on that Travis Kelsey um

yeah it's again i mean these two are competing right here it's like you got 12 k on they're over at 40 at calci and then uh you know 42 and a half 4K there so some definitely some competing stuff there it's not one side and necessarily yeah there's a little tight band of of middle uh maybe someone's trying to straddle there so um yeah the thornton stuff to me is uncorrelated uh i think someone shot out too like that's kind of it for me on the on the thornt and stuff i just don't know again another situation with like how much are the ancillary receivers involved um on that side too like just in terms of route participation.

So these like messy situations in week one, I'm happy, I'm happy sitting out. I know it's tough. Like it's an island game. We want to have some action on it. I feel like I have enough on like just Denver plus three, Denver Money Line.

There's a couple of, oh, this new world Connor, betting unders of, some of our tackle gods historically. The unders like our tackle gods a little bit today. So we have to kind of wait and see and temper the expectations

before making any decisions on that i think i'm just going to sit and hang with the with the denver denver stuff mostly maybe a sprinkle a wattle yeah i tend to agree it's just like all the stuff like all the different angles seem like they're more than just like my home's line is always like 35 and a half pastime it's really at 32 and a half completions are always like 23 and a half 24 and a half it's 21 and a half so you're just not getting any discounts like if they decide to throw the ball 40 times like which could very easily happen then yeah i mean you're just cooked like it's it's over so Um, yeah, there's not much you can do there. And then, yeah, Jason, as we mentioned, hear a lot of love for Pat Broinovers.

Uh, definitely a common theme. I, you know, I have no reason to talk you out of it. The PMs will disagree. Yeah, exactly. The PMs don't like, don't like, uh, Pat Brian. It's seemingly based on the liquidity. So, um, let's see. Oh, yeah, here you go.

Well, it's funny. So we have the top play right now is M-G- G. Over 10 and a half. And then another side saying under 15 and a half. So it's saying basically efficient numbers like around 12. I don't know. I mean, what is this implying like three, four, five carries?

Kind of seems like a lot. Seems like a lot. I don't mind this. I don't know what is for she rice's reception is at. They're less, the uncorrelated is this way or a little less fun because you can't. You know, take them up the ladder. Yeah. But there's still.

Yeah, but it's just like stupid. I mean, it's like not as, not as fun. Yeah. So six catches for 50 yards. That's basically you're hoping for here. You could also make it like five catches instead. And then five plus catches and under 52 yards or whatever. That's like an option.

And I don't want to be the guy to, like, lose us the entry. So, you know, like, I'll just pick the Chargers. I was like, that's the easy one, the safe one. And it turns out, that's what you get. It was a triple condom play. And it ended up backfiring.

It wasn't great. It was not great. But, you know, down go, what, 32% of circuit survivors? So it's just crazy. And 18 bozos with no pick in week one. She's, you imagine going through all that, like probably a bunch of them went to Vegas. You signed out with your proxy, you know, go through the whole rigor of all that. And you're like, yeah, you know what?

I'm going to miss the week one deadline. Like, of all the things you could have picked the Cardinals. And it'd been better, you know, he had a shot at least, you know, pick a team. Um, yeah, the, uh, I fandual, shout out to Bill Simmons. I think he's making some of this happen like, you know, they want to bring teasers back. Uh, your way on Fandual, um, they're pricing six pointers appropriately again, minus 110. So, um, you know, Denver makes a really nice teaser like tonight, even if you kind of like Kansas City, because, you know, moving that through the three and the seven is super duper valuable.

Uh, and then there's a couple of, I don't know, decent teaser legs next. week with Tampa Bay minus eight minus eight and a half hosting cleveland and Deshawn Watson again. Philly is minus seven at Tennessee. So you can get that down to one. If you happen to like, you know, Baltimore would be two and a half on the teaser leg if you wanted to do that.

So there's some, there's some viable, viable teaser legs out there to accompany the Broncos today. Did you say box already? mentioned the box too. Yeah, buck's the first one. Yeah. Yeah, I mean, that's, they came out, by the way, and said that Deshaun Watson is going to start again this week.

This is the end. This is it. I mean, this is, you saw the first interception. The only reason it even got anywhere was because of the garbage time. They're down 30 points before a blink of an eye. It was, it was, it was rough. Yeah, so that means if it's minus 110 on the two-leggar, again, my donkey, that we almost had, the donkey teaser the week got blown up by.

the chargers as well. Otherwise we hit with the jets and the Vikings and some of the stuff. But if you can go to three-leger here, it should be like 160 plus 160 or so with the, you know, go Tampa Bay, Philly and Denver tonight. It's a nice little plus 160. Six-pointer. So just my opinion, you know, teach their own. But good pricing. Part of why, you know, the teaser legs, you stop talking about as much is because, you know, you're paying minus 135 all of a sudden after, you know, occasionally we got like a minus 120 and then all of a sudden those were gone and 1.30 and you get some books. They don't even offer it necessarily. You have to kind of price them individually.

And then you like, yeah, there's a popular site that was like 140. It's just insane. You should not be doing that. But now 110. So shout out to fandom. Yeah. Good time. Yep, shout out to their not shout out to their DFS.

Not shout out to the DFS. We're taking back that shoutout actually. So they're going to have minus one. I would like to walk the shoutout back. I'm sorry.
