Starting point is 00:00:10 Hello and welcome to move the line presented by Sharpstack. Ryan Noonan and Connor Allen here for a little bit Monday night football action. Week seven? Week seven already. We got a lot of weeks left, Connor. Feels good. I like having a lot of weeks still to go. Football season's been fun.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Yeah, I'm great. How are we doing it? Good. We got, uh, I feel like props are back, really slow start to the season for me. You just been crushing all throughout. So that's awesome. Um, swerve's been, you know, I had a little bit of slower start too. Now he's getting hot.
Starting point is 00:00:38 I think I went seven and two so far this week. Got two plays pending for tonight's games. So yeah, we're back, you know. Yeah. Yeah, I haven't had a losing week, not come wood. So we're going to go and six and three this week. Yeah, we've not been like heavy volume on the tackles. But I think we're like 17 and two on official tackle releases this year.
Starting point is 00:01:02 The ones that we got in this week felt real good. Those were, I think, like you and I were talking about that too. I thought those were like grinder edges. right they were like these guys might not play i don't know why they're lined oh let's take advantage of that and the sweat became did they get a snap or not and those are always those are always fun so uh feels good let's uh continue it here on monday night i know you in swerve released a couple of plays uh you know which i think were really interesting i think uh very um very um very are these even like real players like yeah um which i think is
Starting point is 00:01:36 is great but uh also one of my be like sharp stack is as cheap as it's ever been right now and actually the entire betting package and which involves everything at four for four super cheap through our friends over at rebate click the deals tab on the top of the site so four four four dot com there's a deals tab and you'll scroll all the way down to the bottom you'll see picks and sharp stack all you to do is sign up for rebate which is a sweepstakes casino everything app you can bet on there use promo code sharp stack when you sign up They will first match your deposit up to $100 as well.
Starting point is 00:02:12 But all you need to do to take a video with us is $10 deposit. If you use promo code Sharpstack, and then you'll get an email showing you how to sign up for no additional charge for 4 for the rest of three months. So basically the rest of the football season. So great deal. Hit us up if you have any questions specifically. You can find more information there in the show notes.
Starting point is 00:02:30 So yeah, prop builders in on these tackle props too, Patrick. Yeah. Books are a little bit better than they were last year on the releases, which is nice. We have some more outs. It wasn't, it's not quite as good as it was a couple years ago, but,
Starting point is 00:02:43 you know, they get involved. So, all right, we have a, which should have been, I think, a really interesting and exciting NFCEs contest here with the Cowboys and Eagles.
Starting point is 00:02:53 And now it's just kind of a mess. Both teams two and four. A lot of questions on both sides, kind of a must win, especially for Dallas, considering all that's going on in Philly, it feels beyond a must win in terms of their, like,
Starting point is 00:03:08 Dallas could still make something of the season. We're a spot where JJ McCarthy and the New York football giants are the current betting favorites in the NFC East, just wild. Dallas four and a half point favorites here pretty much across the board. Tolls bouncing around between a couple different numbers. So shop around if you have a lean of the overrunner. You know, obviously you made your place. So you can, you don't have to bury the lead.
Starting point is 00:03:32 You can talk about this matchup. Anything you like here still on the board. It's kind of popping up the sharp stack screen here on the. YouTube channel if you were watching. Yeah, I think you hit the nail on the head with this game. Like Dallas has to win. If you can't win against Tanner McKee without Devontas Smith, without Octavian Wix, with an injured Saquan Barkley, with the defense not playing as well as they should be. And Jalen Hurts is like, I mean, all the blood clot stuff. I don't know if you've seen any of the rumors there about how there was some things about them like forcing him to play and some weird kind
Starting point is 00:04:05 dynamic there. Incredibly dangerous. And so, I mean, yeah, Philly is in absolute turmoil right now. Dallas has to win. They have to cover. I lean Dallas here. But the problem is Dallas's defense has been so bad. They've been really, really, I wanted nothing more than to take Tanner McKee
Starting point is 00:04:23 unders today. And I just couldn't, I couldn't get there because they've been allowing a lot of yards and a lot of completions to terrible quarterbacks. And that's like, it's tough when, when, you take these bad quarterback honors because you need the defense to be at least competent. And Dallas's defense has been, I would say, intermittently competent and mostly not very competent at all. So I struggle here with this one specifically. Play-wise, though, and I'll pause after the first one here.
Starting point is 00:04:51 So I took initially took Tyler Goodson over nine and a half yards with swerve. He had two carries last week to Javante Williams 11. They were in trailing game script. and then two weeks prior and then the week prior to that, he had three and six carries in games that were a little bit more neutral to positive game script. So again, if we're getting 25, 20, 25 carries, I feel really good total between the two.
Starting point is 00:05:20 Feel really good about Goodson getting three to four. At this point, 13 and a half, I mean, honestly, it's a little thin. It's like four yards is a whole other carry, unfortunately. Sure. So, yeah, I hate to be that guy. I mean, if you have Pinnacle, 10 and a half minus 145, it is okay. Cal sheet, you know, again, I think that they probably have some 10 and a halfs too still as well. So I don't know.
Starting point is 00:05:45 I think that one's a little tough. Any thoughts on Goodson? Has Tyler Goodson crossed your mind at all in the last calendar year? Just because I make projections a little bit, but not to like, not to go to the window for it. So, but I respect it. These are definitely, these are fun ones to sweat. Oh, totally. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:04 I kind of like the other one a little bit more because. Okay. And I'll let you share that one too because this guy's been, I think he's actually a pretty good athlete. And he's got like a little bit of mean streak. And he's actually been increasingly involved, whereas it feels to me a little less thin. So I like that one a little bit more.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Yeah. And that one is Brevin Spanford over, I think we played 10. and a half or maybe nine and a half. I like it still here. I think it's we're at 11.5 and a half at Draft Kings and some of the exchanges, 12 and a half, Fandul, Novig.
Starting point is 00:06:39 I think that's all fine here. We saw two weeks ago against Tampa Bay, Jake Ferguson dropped the game losing interception, game winning, game, I don't know, game, whatever. He had passed tipped up in the air. The Bucks intercepted it. That actually won us our Jake Ferguson under three and a half receptions prop,
Starting point is 00:06:57 prop, which was great to see. And then after the game, the coaching staff was like, yeah, it's unacceptable. We'll evaluate all options here. The game after Brevin Spanford set a season high in Routes Run, saw five targets, caught, I think it was four for 34 or something like that. And Jake Ferguson at a season low in snap percentage in Routes Run. So again, I think, and then they sign Span Ford to a three-year contract as well in the fall. So, again, I think that he might just continue to play more.
Starting point is 00:07:26 It's not going to be a full flippening of, you know, like Spanford, like the guy or whatever. But we're not paying for that. You know, it's not 20 yards or 25 yards. It's 12 yards, 11 yards. So I think you could play alts here if you want, if you want something fun, especially the receptions. I think that's kind of interesting. I mean, he just had, was it three or four catches last week. I mean, because right now we're looking at three is plus 300.
Starting point is 00:07:49 Four is plus 750. Again, you probably need game script to be a little sideways here. They threw the ball a ton the last couple weeks. So you probably need some more juice there. But who knows? I mean, maybe he plays a little bit more and they decided to target it more. I mean, the coaching staff stocked them over a ton. So I know you said you liked it.
Starting point is 00:08:07 You're interested. Or like it more. I don't know if you like it fully. No, I like it. No, I do. I think it's a good play. I think there's probably some room, some meat left on the bone. And I think Patrick makes a good call, especially comparing the two.
Starting point is 00:08:20 Like, if I already get in now, you know, you're watching the video or you're watching this and the podcast. It's, you know, you're. probably missed obviously the good numbers that subscribers got you're more than likely to get a maybe some line movement on a backup running back in game uh just the nature of the fact that he probably is a chance he goes a quarter quarter and a half at least maybe without a touch before he starts to get you know a couple of those touches that he's been carving out and that can move live um you know whereas you might not get that same type of movement on the uh you know the tight end that's on
Starting point is 00:08:51 the field of a decent amount even though he's not maybe running routes at a high level he's still out there playing and you know whatever that has a factory with the algorithm that's you know that's doing that i do think it is some of those live algorithms are definitely looking at like i'll see for tackles like i'm looking to get a live number on a guy and that guy's not on the field for the first play of the game he is immediately off the board yeah so i do think there's something to like is the guy on the field um so that probably works in a live line favorite for for goods and versus uh spanned forward so um the tannermicke stuff is interesting i felt like the you know and again i've talked about this. And I'm sorry to any Eagles fans listening, but not really. Like you are an insufferable
Starting point is 00:09:29 fan base. And again, I say that knowing full well, you know, I'm a Boston sports fan for the most part. Again, a little bit more team agnostic than, you know, a decade or two ago based on the nature of my job. But, you know, we're not also a very likable fan base. But I don't find us to be nearly as insufferable. And again, maybe it's just can't see the forest of the trees. But even when it's good, you guys are complaining about everything. And like, People were like, you know, should we get Tannen McKee in here? Is he better than Jalen Hertz? And now we get like one or two like Tanner McKee games.
Starting point is 00:10:01 And it's like, this guy's the bum. We get Joe Milton in the game. Like how bad is this? And people are like talking about extent. It's just so weird to me. So I don't know. Do we know that Tanner McKee is garbage? He definitely has a tough situation.
Starting point is 00:10:14 I'll tell you that, right? Like the offensive line is beat up. Passcatching core is beat up. Seekwan's back. That probably helps a little bit. defense also feels a little bit underperforming. Like it's still a good unit, but I don't feel like they've been as crisp as, you know,
Starting point is 00:10:28 we were expecting. So I don't know. I don't know how that applies to any of our prop angles here. I'm just not sure that I want to bury Hannah McKee yet because they wanted to build a statue for him. It felt like when he was the back of the Jaylen Hertz, maybe they just hate Jalen Hertz so much. So I don't know what to make that one.
Starting point is 00:10:45 I can't quite place my finger on it. But I think that's pretty interesting take there. McKee, I don't know. I mean, my quarterback takes have just been so bad the last couple of weeks, you know. Yeah, we're going to have to tap you out for this one. The JJ McCarthy one. I got to sit on my hands here for a little bit and I'm going to have to take a back seat. I'm sure Slop's going to get me hell on that one, which is funny is there's actually a double loss, right?
Starting point is 00:11:10 It was like not only did J.J. McCarthy play well, but Isaiah likely did not do well. So it was we both lost. I thought it was going to be the inverse, you know, like, and so that stunk. Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I really, I didn't have a take on Tanricky. I don't think he's good, but I don't, you know, I mean, he doesn't have a lot around him. Dallas is really bad, though. Can he dig it down, ding and dunk for a while?
Starting point is 00:11:31 Maybe. I don't know, I mean, it's. How much did you look at Sequin? I thought we would get it. I could feel maybe a Seekwan under from Conner Allen today. I thought about it. Yeah, I was wondering if you were looking at them. So I did play a longest rush under.
Starting point is 00:11:44 That's like 15 and a half. I kind of like that. I think that he's coming back from injury. I also under like the rush attempts angle right so we're seeing 15 and a half here it was 16 and a half at one point but like are they really just going to the problem is they don't have any other options right so like are they really going to take their only real player off the field outside of I guess Dallas gotter to to jam Damien Pierce that's the problem but if he's not healthy are they really going to jam not all these say quant in a game that like they may not win right it's like third quarter comes around and they're down by a little bit. it like they're probably not the jamming seekwon market but i don't know like i think this could really go either way and uh carson right now in our slack is talking about how he thinks that damien pierce has like massive upside from his numbers here if because i mean this is just baking in that like sayquan's going to be like almost full go essentially yeah and so he's not bad i mean
Starting point is 00:12:42 yeah he's fine you know he's got a chance he's been fine he's probably league average maybe be a little worse than a league average running back. There's a lot of those guys. Yeah, a ton. So it's, yeah, it's tough. I just, that seems like a type of bet you would,
Starting point is 00:12:58 you would make, right? It's an underdog situation kind of going off, you know, trying to find a way to short the biggest number on the board for that squad. Totally. And I do like it, to be clear,
Starting point is 00:13:08 I did play longest rush under for Sequin. I do like rushing attempts under. I just worry that they have no other options and that if they decide, We're going to jam Sequin 25 times. That's like a normal, logical thing to do in this instance because you have literally nothing else. So, yeah, I don't know. It's like, like, they're only, like, lifeline here feels like to getting a win.
Starting point is 00:13:32 But the Damien Pierce salts, I've seen some people have been posting, by the way, about Fliff's crazy alt lines. Like, they just have some, like, wild numbers that if you're right, you can really jam, like the upper end outcomes here that go up. like 50 to 1 100 to 1 whatever i mean i'm not playing damien piercing 100 yards but you wanted to you get 60 to 1 you know so they have it looks like no one else has it looks like the scorebed also has some favorable clusters there of alts which makes sense right i mean they there's some correlation to the one line so it makes sense that it would have kind of a a tiered trickle-down
Starting point is 00:14:08 effect that you would find favorable ladder legs on the same same book but again another great resource here at strep stack yeah like this is interesting I think 30 yards plus 250. That's not bad. If you get like 75% Sequan, you can still get there on like, I don't know, six or seven carries maybe, something like that for Damien Pierce.
Starting point is 00:14:29 I don't think that's terrible. These are the types of injuries that could easily be reagravated during a game, right? Like that's a path too, right? That can be a built-in, it's like a built-in upside of like an under, obviously, is the guy leaves the game and doesn't play. But like it's the built-in upside of a second-tier player over.
Starting point is 00:14:46 Right? You have it built-in with a good side. in line in a way and it would also be the path if you're flirting with that thinking of playing that over trying to take some sealing outcome situations when you obviously have that as a potential angle obviously predicting injuries is not what we're trying to do but it's just a built-in natural piece of of the puzzle that could play into your your hand the the wording too today on saiquan was like they don't even know if he's going to play like he's going to try and play or like trending towards playing what that just has a very carries a why very very very
Starting point is 00:15:17 wide range of outcomes like you mentioned. So I think I thought Carson's look made sense. If you want to play some fun upside stuff, I might just do. I might play some just for fun. But I think there is a little bit of an edge there for sure. Yeah. We're checking out.
Starting point is 00:15:31 Nothing really else that I like in this game. Again, I'm not interested in betting Dallas at the four and a half. I think that they're, it's an important game for them. But things get wonky. And like, I don't know, I thought that they were a great matchup against Green Bay,
Starting point is 00:15:44 you know, a couple of games ago. And like the offense is just kind of stale. Javante Williams was awesome last year. I think like almost five yards of carry, 4.8 yards of carry or something like that. And he's at like 3-7 this year. You know, they feel somewhat predictable with what they're doing. They should be a, you know, a really good quarterback and some great weapons.
Starting point is 00:16:06 And they just, I don't know, keep stubbing their toe week in a week out. It's just kind of surprising. And again, the defense I thought was going to be markedly better. They are not. And they are probably as healthy this game as they've been all season, you know, considering they also have Joey Porter Jr. in now. Like, I think you get overshone back here. You kind of have your full alignment of defensive alignment up front.
Starting point is 00:16:30 Like you get even like Kobe Durant back in the secondary. So I feel like they're trending to be healthier. Does that mean they're training to be good or better? I don't know yet. But I would think this is probably, you know, the best, most talented, version of the Dallas defense that they've had at any point this season. So we'll see how that plays out, but not going to the window on much here. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:55 Shout out Gill, late to the party left through watch. Shout out to the Rams team total rushing yards over. That was a no sweat winner. Yeah, I was, I texted noon and midgame because Kyron fumbled at 60 yards and Korum already had like 50 or 60, something like that at that point. And we were debating between the two. And I was like, oh, man, I really, really hope Kyron does not get benched. here for the rest of the game because they were up by a lot.
Starting point is 00:17:17 So they ended up going into, obviously he got a couple more carries. He almost ended up with 100 yards actually, which was great to see. But yeah, the team total rushing. I mean, it had to be what, like 180 something, 170 something total, I think, probably. I think it was 190 something.
Starting point is 00:17:32 It was high. Yeah, it was. They never posted on Fanduel. I checked before game time. I know, I did too. Yeah. Cesar didn't either. So it was really,
Starting point is 00:17:41 it was just, I think, just 365. But yeah, they they crushed that. Corm looked awesome. He looked so good. Yeah, it was, it was awesome.
Starting point is 00:17:52 Let me see where I could find it. You know, $199. Wow. Yep. That would have been super tilting if I took Alt up to $200. So I guess that's the one saving grace. Yeah, Gil, we touched on it at the beginning of the show.
Starting point is 00:18:08 We're Brevin Span people, Jordan. I don't even remember his name at this point. Whatever the backup guy. Brevin Span Ford. Span. forward yeah um we're in that camp uh ferguson under 17 and a half receiving yards lean that way super thin prefer brevin uh i think that's just the better look here yeah i agree and the good thing i recommend if you missed connor's release for subscribers uh patrick made a good point in the chat earlier
Starting point is 00:18:37 i think it's probably a decent you know live scoop you know see that reaction to him not being on the field early and that the live line probably improves and you could probably get closer to what Connor released it at. So check that out. Any tackles you want to touch on? You want to save it for subs, sacks, anything like that? Let's see if the rest of the books get involved. I don't think we're going to get much on the Dallas side because we probably still have a three-man
Starting point is 00:19:04 rotation at linebacker, even though DeMarvie and Overshorn will be back in the game. Hopefully, I believe, probably still Shamir James and Jay Sean. bar i'm still rotating in a little bit um but no i think there's some i think there's a nice under on the board uh on the philly side tackle wise but we'll see if that becomes more widely available before uh before we get there yeah looks like fliff and courtside are posting some draft kings just pathetic amount caesar's post some but they don't populate in our API for some reason fandled nothing yet on seizures yeah um so they do post though right They'd normally post, but they just don't.
Starting point is 00:19:45 It just doesn't get posted on our API. And it looks like Fanatics just does one-sided, if you can bet a Fanatics, which is not surprising. But, you know. Yeah, we're getting a little bit too on Novig. Yeah. So that helps too. And they do pop in the API, which is nice.
Starting point is 00:20:06 Awesome. And then, yeah, the other plays that I touched on were played some longest rushing unders, played Sequin and Javante under they were crushing the last couple of weeks. I finally started posting them in Discord and then they sucked this week. So apologies if you tailed them, just natural what happens. I'm sure it'll bounce back. Variance. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:20:29 I mean, I'm still sticking with it. I'm still betting on my own. So if you don't want to bet them, that's fine. I don't care. You're just missing out on buying low on the gravy train here. Yeah. Hang with it. It's all good.
Starting point is 00:20:40 It's just going to happen. It's in the math. We have the math to back it up. Exactly. All right. I'll remind everyone take advantage of the sharps tag deal. Move the line wherever you listen to the podcast. Move the line on YouTube as well.
Starting point is 00:20:52 Come back on Wednesday afternoon. Connor and I will share some more thoughts of what we had there in week seven and touch on the week eight games, sides and totals. And then Friday afternoon, 3 p.m. Eastern, we united with what slop. We went over on the parlay. Process was good. I think it was a fun little venture into like a new market for us. I think you're uncovering live was like pretty interesting.
Starting point is 00:21:16 Like, hey, when these go over, they go way over. Unfortunately, none of them are just went over at all. So like it wasn't about how much they go over when they go over. We didn't even mess around with the over. The Burrow one was super tilting. They had like 12 plays in the first half. Like, oh, cool. Nine attempts for Burrow in the first half.
Starting point is 00:21:35 He still like, he still gets like 31 attempts, despite barely having the ball in the first half. Yeah. And then when they did throw the ball, he was just getting these massive chunk gains. Like they didn't even need like the short digging duck stuff. He was just ripping it down field. Yeah. Yeah. Patrick, I thought of you when I saw the Eric all receptions. That's for sure. So yeah, it was, hey. And sometimes you the window, sometimes you're the bug. The most part still continue to be the window. So is what it is. So we're back on the lagging this week. So hit the thumbs up before you take off, subscribe as well. McConnell, I'm Ryan. We'll see you all next time. Thanks, everybody.
Starting point is 00:22:10 Thank you.
