Hello, hello, we're back people. Welcome to a brand new episode of Mum's the Word. I'm
Starting point is 00:01:07 Jojo Jones. And I'm Kelsey Parker. And do we have an episode in store for you today? We have an extremely special guest joining us today. Who is it, Kelsey? It's Bree! Now Kelsey's been a bit of a fangirl. Brie welcomed her son in 2022. And now she's a fan favourite and my favourite on the cast of Netflix's Selling Sunset. We chat about her journey into motherhood. Right now it's very like, mommy are you done? Are you done working? Put the phone away. He's definitely vocalising that he's not liking it.
Starting point is 00:01:45 And he's definitely giving me a little bit of attitude. Daily with mom go. Every day, like I'll go to bed and I'll be like, fuck, I could have done this or I should have done that. Or did I spend enough time with him? And her transition from the entertainment world to real estate. And I was actually kind of considering
Starting point is 00:02:01 getting out of the industry actually altogether at this time. And then I got pregnant with my son and they had approached me. And then I got exposed for being pregnant and him and our baby shower and this whole thing. And at that point I was like, all right, well now I'm out. So grab a cuppa. Get comfy.
Starting point is 00:02:17 And let's jump into this brand new episode of Mums the Word. Welcome to the show, Bri. Thank you. I'm so excited to have you here, I'm not gonna lie. We've got a fangirl over here. Oh, you're up! Selling Sunset fangirl. Yeah, I love it.
Starting point is 00:02:35 Proper, proper. But for anyone that doesn't know, Bri, just give us a little backstory of you, what you do, who you are, where you come from. It always cracks me up, I'm like, I'm Brie. I'm from LA, I do real estate and a show on Netflix called Selling Sunset that is just full of a bunch of crazy women.
Starting point is 00:02:55 It appears that way. Literally, literally. Well, you've come to the right podcast. Me and Kel sat in that stable, have we? Love it, love that. So how did you get into the selling sunset side of things? So they had approached me multiple times, and I just really wasn't in a position with my partner in my life
Starting point is 00:03:14 that I really wanted to be public and live that life. I was like, oh, this seems like a lot. I'm like, I don't know if I wanna do this. And I was actually kind of considering getting out of the industry, actually, altogether at this time. And then I got pregnant with my son and they had approached me during COVID
Starting point is 00:03:31 and then I got pregnant in 22. They approached me again in 22 and they had approached me their first season too or second season maybe it was. And I just said no. And then the next season right before they started, I think it was literally like two months before they started, I got outed for being pregnant.
Starting point is 00:03:47 I was never gonna come out that I was pregnant. I was gonna literally, I just wanted the privacy for the first two years just to everything that was like going on with my partner at the time and just like being a new mom and I don't have a lot of family and I didn't know how I was gonna like really take it and like the postpartum and like all these things
Starting point is 00:04:03 people were like scaring me with, I was like, oh no, I need to reserve my piece here. And then I got exposed for being pregnant, and him and our baby shower and this whole thing, and at that point I was like, all right, well now I'm out, so fuck it, now we just gotta go. Go out with it, go out with it. I gotta just go for it.
Starting point is 00:04:20 And it was quite public, wasn't it, you and Nick, and you've got a little boy together, haven't you? Yeah. Is he called Legendary? Legendary, yeah. Great, great. Why are you saying that differently? Did I say that wrong? It was quite public wasn't it you yeah Nick and you've got a little boy scared haven't you yeah, it's legendary legendary Yeah, great. Yeah Legendary yeah Action action legendary legendary Yeah, we call him lechie Yeah, I thought he was gonna be,
Starting point is 00:04:47 for sure we were gonna call him Lilo. Like, because his middle name is Love. So we were like, Lilo, that'll be cute. We've never called him that. He just turned into Ledgie and that's like all we call him now. I love it. But I do think names like evolve, don't they?
Starting point is 00:05:00 Even with mine, I've got Bodie and Aurelia and they're Bo and Ray. Oh yeah. Or Ray Bo. Ray Bo. My new Ray Bo kids. That's cute. See what you did there. Very good.
Starting point is 00:05:10 That's it. Very good. I love it. And how did you find then obviously, so the pregnancy did come out in the media. How did you, did that put a lot of pressure on you when you were pregnant? Because the last thing you did was stress, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:05:20 Yeah, especially during that time because after I got exposed, I guess is the word, my partner had lost his son, one of his sons, and it was blown out to be this whole thing, like I was malicious and this and that and all this, and I was like, I was around before this woman was ever even a thing, but okay. So it was just, it was a lot, and I was already,
Starting point is 00:05:43 and the hate online and how nasty people can be and wishing death on my kid, and it was just, it was a lot and I was already, you know, and the hate online and how nasty people can be and like wishing death on my kid and like it was crazy. Like it was really, it was a lot. And so then with the show, I wasn't really ready. And at that point, Nick was like, you're already here. Like at this point, like. Just do it. Yeah, either or get completely offline.
Starting point is 00:06:02 Cause like you need one or the other and you're already like I was already so involved and been in The industry for so long that he was like it's obvious that this is not you're not getting out So like just embrace it So I ended up taking it and it was I was only six weeks postpartum basically wearing the diaper at this point And like it was horrific, but I survived that's when you started filming six weeks. Yeah, not fantastic I felt I mean, I don felt I mean I don't know I did it. I don't know. It's like a blur to be honest like was your nunny hurting everything was hurting Do you know what a nunny is?
Starting point is 00:06:34 From the hand placement yeah I know I had to do it Why are you struggling? Well it's really funny because we call a fanny pack a bun bag Bun bag? Yeah. But you call it a fanny pack? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:48 But we call that a fanny. I'm dead. Yeah, I thought your fanny was your bun. Brie, what do you call it? What do you call it? I call it a hoo-ha. A what? A hoo-ha.
Starting point is 00:06:56 A hoo-ha. Or your kookas. No. No, some people call that a fanny. Yeah. Really? I call it a fanny. I mean, that, do you? Yeah!
Starting point is 00:07:05 I would think you're talking about your mum. The word fanny actually makes me feel a little bit sick. Oh. Do you know what, it's not quite a word, fanny. Yesterday. It's ninch for me. They kept saying on the show, they were like, there's this one word, and I was like, don't say it.
Starting point is 00:07:17 Don't say it, because I use a lot of profanity. Nothing offends me, but the word moist. Oh. Moist, and soggy. Oh I could die. I was like no, no. I was like why does this word upset me so much? I don't know what it is, I can't.
Starting point is 00:07:33 So you was actually okay in the show because really you just like wearing black don't you? Yeah. Black's your color. I'm upset. I'm brownish. You're actually really upset with me that you're not in black?
Starting point is 00:07:43 I was earlier. As a fangirl of yours. She's like what the hell. really upset with me that you're not in black? I was earlier. As a fan girl of yours. She's like, what the hell? I'm quite surprised you didn't come in black. Oh no, I should have. In honor. I'm gonna just go in black, yes. I'm black here.
Starting point is 00:07:53 Get your top off, then. So you went into it. Do you ever look back at those days and think like, oh, it was such a blur. I wish I'd have done things different. Or are you happy with how it all went? Are you? Show wise, yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:08 I mean, I feel like if anything, I was too tired to really deal with Chelsea, so it was probably better for everybody. But no, I think I more so feel like I missed out on some of the newborn phase. I missed out on the mommy phase. I didn't get to enjoy it. I was filming 10 months straight, multiple days a week,
Starting point is 00:08:27 so stressed out. Like. Yeah, what is the commitment like to the show? Well, a lot of the girls film every day. Like they can film from Tuesday to Saturday, but I was very, I'm very strict on my schedule. I'm like, I am the primary parent. I am the mother.
Starting point is 00:08:41 I need to be at home. I'm not working outside of these days. You get three days, kiss my ass. Are they okay with that though? No they're not but I don't care. It's take it or leave it. I think you'd be okay, 100%. Yeah, it's take it or leave it. If my son wasn't so little, okay, but this is like the prime time and like you know it's going to like develop who he's going to be and how he's going to feel and how he's going to think about me. Like all of those things are so important. But also him looking at you that you are working so
Starting point is 00:09:06 hard and also being there for him like you are gonna be like his little idol. I think one day but like right now it's very like mommy are you done? Are you done working? Put the phone away. Like he's definitely vocalizing that he's not liking it and he's definitely giving me a little bit of attitude so I'm reading the room and I'm like okay we have a problem. Mind you on school pick up they're like who's picking us up tonight is it you and I'm like it might not be tonight because I have to work but it's so hard juggling like I'm a solo parent so it's hard for me I have to juggle my time to work provide and then be present as well. That's how I feel. I mean, my partner's so, so busy. And it's like, and he does anything and everything
Starting point is 00:09:48 you ask and he's amazing and he tries so hard. But it's like, at the end of the day, like I don't care if you're married or not married, like the moms are the primary parent. Like it just is what it is. We are. We fall into that role. We talk about this all the time.
Starting point is 00:10:00 Yeah, all the time. Like me and Kelsey, like obviously Kelsey's husband passed away and my husband works all the time. Yeah, all the time. Like me and Kelsey, obviously Kelsey's husband passed away and my husband works all the time. But then so do I. Then for some reason, it's us that have to do all the. I think it always falls on the mum though. Like even my friends,
Starting point is 00:10:16 they all have to arrange their childcare where the dads go out and work. And they're like, hang on, why is it down to me? I've got a job too. Yeah, yeah, it's always like that. So Bri, are you and Nic together then? You are, right, I wasn't 100% sure. Most people aren't, they're confused, yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:32 But was there a point where you weren't during? Nope. No, you've always been together? Yeah, okay, well. I just don't. Do you feel like that got misconstrued in the media a little bit? Yeah, they just choose to do that
Starting point is 00:10:42 because to them it's the only way they can rationalize the situation. I think in America your press and your media is so much. I don't think I would be able to cope with it. I did a TV show with Tom for six, no we lived out there for three months in LA and we did it on E and it was called The Wanted Life and even that I was like wow it's so much and then even when you're going into restaurants, like TMZ's there filming you,
Starting point is 00:11:08 like what do you think about this? I mean, we went to watch Justin Bieber when we came out and they was like, how was the Biebs? I'm like, well, just leave me alone with this. Yeah, I'm just watching Biebs. Yeah, it's definitely. It's like crazy, I don't know how you cope out there. It's just.
Starting point is 00:11:24 Do you get followed around a lot? I feel like LA is not as bad as it used to be. I feel like there's definitely places you know to avoid. You know there's gonna be, like anything that's like the cool spot, I'm not going. Unless you're prepared to be outside. But yeah, they do pop up on you. And especially like at the office or on Sunset
Starting point is 00:11:43 and like all those things, like you know that's gonna happen. But I live in Calabasas, which is like an hour out of LA Oh, so you're a bit yeah, but away from all the action So I try to stay over there and then like you know But I do feel like people in LA are like too cool, so you don't really get bothered so it's kind of like It's never. It's fine. Yeah, you just like oh never mind Yeah, I walk around looking crazy and my kids run around and I'm like, am I me, guys?
Starting point is 00:12:06 Like, yeah. So obviously, I mean, it's not hidden that Nick's got other kids and there's other moms of his children around. How do you navigate all that? Are you friendly with the moms? Are you, is it? It's some.
Starting point is 00:12:21 You know, it's a tricky situation. People have emotions and feelings and, you know, I don't, so. Yeah. You do seem like a very chilled, calm woman. Yeah, I'm very like, I literally don't care about anything. You have to like really piss me off. What style style do you bring? Amateur-ous.
Starting point is 00:12:39 Oh, okay, right. I'm quite surprised you're laid back. You really? Yeah. Aren't they like more bulls? She's our spiritual one over here. But that's more of like mess the ball, get the horns. It's not necessarily like, you know.
Starting point is 00:12:50 You gotta be like that all the time. Yeah, no, I really don't care about that. But I feel like with you, what you see is what you get. So people know where they stand with you. Absolutely. Like if your raps. My face will tell you everything. Oh, that's like me as well.
Starting point is 00:13:01 You're like, oh, she's raps, okay. She is angry about something. They're like, and we're gonna change well. You're like, oh, she's not so gay. She is angry about something. And we're going to change the subject. I bet they love that on the show. They do, of course. It's good TV for sure. That's a definite zoom in moment, isn't it? Always. I have to be careful because I'm like, don't look at me. I have to just not look because I'll just give my whole self away.
Starting point is 00:13:22 It's terrible. We don't ask it. So are you friends with any of their videos? I'll just give my whole self away. So I'm like, no, no. It's terrible. We don't ask it. So are you friends with any of them? Honestly, are you gonna ask them? Do you like any of them? Everyone's okay. I just feel like you're just on your own and you're a lone soldier and you don't need anyone.
Starting point is 00:13:36 I feel like you've got your friends. You do the show and you don't really need them, but they're all quite invested into the show and it's their life. Yeah. Yeah, I'm very much like, please fire me, I could care less. Like, honestly, I truly like, yes, it's a blessing,
Starting point is 00:13:53 it's a beautiful platform, you can do a lot with it if you do it the right way, but also, like, you keep fucking playing with me, so it's kinda like, y'all, you guys gotta pick here, cause I just, am I not supposed to cut here? No, it doesn't. Ever since my PR said it's me, I'm like, fuck it. You guys got a pick here because I just I mean that's what's the curse here. No The show is right I know you'll see it's a TV show but actually when you first came on and Chelsea's opinion like
Starting point is 00:14:22 It's lucky. I'm not on the show. I would literally be like go fuck yourself like with your opinion. What was her opinion? Oh basically. Just very judgmental. We're disgusting this that and whatever. Who you? Yeah. For what reason? But do you know what she was going off. My saying is don't point your fingers unless they're clean and this is me being like a massive flangirl. I like that. But Karma came and got her really because she had this whole judgment on Bri which I don't think you can judge anyone's lives. Like you do you. And then her husband got caught cheating didn't he? No. Did he? By me. By Bri. I need to catch up with this. By the way I just binge it. I like literally will watch it in like two days. I'm done. I'm done. And then I'm waiting. I'm like, oh, she's like, oh, another year.
Starting point is 00:15:05 Yeah, you know, it was a really, it's just really crazy how it all plays out because it's like really easy for people to be like, oh, it was vindictive. She was waiting for this. I was like, I really didn't care less. Like you just kept coming and kept coming and kept coming. And then you just got your ass handed to you and it had nothing to do with me. I actually was genuinely trying to be nice and so I had told Emma and I was like I had a girlfriend of mine rewind so I was at my best friend's birthday party and this girl was there that I've known for a very long time and I had been trying to get her on the show for the last couple seasons and she's just she's like a Christine kind of you know she's very like, uh-huh, like ruthless. So I was like, you know, she'd be a nice...
Starting point is 00:15:47 I feel like you and Christine would have been like... We would have either been great or we would have been at it. Yeah, fire. One or the other. But, you know, I've been trying to get her on whatever. So she comes and she didn't like call me and tell me and it wasn't like drama. Like she waited months to tell me this, like,
Starting point is 00:16:02 or maybe a month, I should say. And I happened to just run into her at this party and she was like, I have something for you. And I was like, no, please, God, don to tell me this, like, or maybe a month, I should say, and I happened to just run into her at this party, and she was like, I have something for you, and I was like, no, please, God, don't tell me. I don't wanna know, and she was like, no, you need to know, and I was like, now I really don't wanna know, and she was like, it's about Chelsea, I was like, nope, fuck, gotta go,
Starting point is 00:16:16 and she literally was like, no, you are gonna hear this, so it was the most forced conversation, I already knew the way she had said it, I was like, oh no. And so for me, I had felt like Chelsea and I were finally getting into this place of being decent. Right? Like she had apologized so many times
Starting point is 00:16:34 and I was just like, fuck off, I don't care. But I'm fine with being in the same room. What was she actually sorry for though? Exactly. What was she like? Exactly, she's sorry that everybody else didn't hate me with her and that she had All of us apologize now
Starting point is 00:16:48 She actually made herself look like a mug. Do you know that me? No Yeah, so I you know, it whatever. I think that's another reason, like you're not genuine, you're not apologizing me for shit, but like, we can be cool. Well sure, whatever, I don't care. You leave me alone, I'm good. So I'm only gonna give you what you're giving me. So if you're being nice, I'm cool.
Starting point is 00:17:16 So fast forward, I have this news and I'm like, fuck. She's over here apologizing and saying she wants to move past it and she's gonna be different this season, like let me just tell her. If this would have been the previous season, I'd have been like, I'm gonna drop this on her and then knuckle ball. I'm gonna be like, that's cute, complain about Nick, your husband's cheating on you bitch, bye.
Starting point is 00:17:35 So like, I could have easily done that and that's very in my character. So I was like, I went to Emma, I told Emma and I was like, I think you should tell her because this is awful coming from me. Like, she hates me. So she's gonna think that I'm just trying to start shit and blah, blah, blah, and I'm like, and I couldn't give a fuck less where your husband is. So I tell her, she calls me, we have a great conversation,
Starting point is 00:17:55 I tell her what it is, I'm over here like, at this point you get this much money, I'm trying to help a bitch out, and somehow, she turns around and makes it like, I've been waiting for this, and I'm so vindictive and I want to ruin her and I brought this production to production to hurt her. She wanted this to happen.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Like, for me to call you and say, hey, I have a lunch with Amanda, and I'm like, you had every opportunity to tell me not to take that lunch. You didn't say that. But she did the same thing to you. She told, what did she do to you? She did all kinds of shit to me and no one told me and no one backed me up and Krishelle, Emma, nobody had my back. Like none of the girls did so I was like and
Starting point is 00:18:36 I didn't make you guys pick a side. But do you feel like because it's the show, Emma and Krishelle sort of sat on the fence because they didn't know how the public were going to take to you and then when everyone loved you they were like oh we want a bit of you now. I don't know I think it's kind of one of those things where it's like you're in the middle and they've been friends like they had a pre-existing relationship obviously right so they were already really close and friends and so I took that into consideration of like okay I get it you guys are already friends I'm new here you know you don't necessarily agree with
Starting point is 00:19:03 what I'm doing but you don't't necessarily have a problem with it, she has a problem. I think for me it was like, by this point of being two seasons in and spending all this time together to not back me at all or have anything to say about it, and then the second this shit pops off with Chelsea, it's like, all right, fuck you bitch, we're out, like you're this, you're that.
Starting point is 00:19:21 I'm like, well hold on a second, like where were you when she was attacking me? And then it was like, oh what, so because I can hold my own no one's gonna back me? I find that quite interesting because it's almost like, well it's very two-faced. Yeah, I tell you the truth, I couldn't even watch when they were sat on the sofa and you were all calling each other. I had to fast forward it because it just broke my heart for you, Brie. It was ridiculous. I love Brie so much
Starting point is 00:19:46 Do you know what I'm surprised you didn't bring a banner with you Oh no I was going to say it She said free Brie No because I just think that they all just turn on you No they didn't I'm like they're not friends No
Starting point is 00:20:00 I know it's a TV show guys But it's a TV show too No but this is actually like everybody thinks it's scripted it's not TV show guys, I know it's a TV show. No but this is actually like, everybody thinks it's scripted, it's not. This is our real life. Yeah. I'm like, I'm actually like, no fuck all you bitches. Like what the hell happened just now? So do you not talk to any of them now?
Starting point is 00:20:12 I mean I'll talk to Mary and Amanda and like Alana here and there. Like I'm nice with everybody. I just don't necessarily, like I consider this work. Like I don't. And you really are selling houses. Yeah. I mean, for me my number one priority is my child right now. Okay I get't. And you really are selling houses. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, for me, my number one priority is my child right now. OK, I get it.
Starting point is 00:20:27 And the things behind closed doors that were said, I'm like, oh, OK. So you're unhappy. So you're unhappy with me because I'm happy and you want what I have. Because I have the best of both worlds. I don't give a fuck what nobody says. I get to do whatever I want. I'm so happy. I have no problems in my relationship.
Starting point is 00:20:43 And that's hard to find. Bet mode activated. The ScoreBet app here with trusted stats and real-time sports news. Yeah, hey, who should I take in the Boston game? Well, statistically speaking. Nah, no more statistically speaking. I want hot takes.

I just think some people can't get their head around how other people live their lives. Like her problem is how Bri actually lives, how you've chosen to live your life. But we're not all the same. But I think sometimes it's, you're unhappy with your life.
Starting point is 00:22:32 Like, I don't even, I don't really, when I look at it from a bias standpoint, I don't really feel like the problem is me. I think the problem is her and how she was feeling and what she was going through. Or, you know, I think even problem is her and how she was feeling and what she was going through or you know I think even just the show to majority of people I would say like 99% of people this changes your life in such a way that You change as a whole human like it's a very almost that it becomes very vain very like
Starting point is 00:23:00 You know you're so worried about what you look like and what you're wearing and where you're going and climbing that ladder and the next step and the this and the that. And I just been in it so long that I'm like, I don't know fuck about any of this. And some of them hadn't really been in the industry before. Oh, I didn't know what they came in. Well, I'm guessing Chelsea's not in the industry. No, definitely not Chelsea.
Starting point is 00:23:15 She was a housewife in Manhattan. Yeah. Like. But now she's entered into this world. Yeah. When you're new to it as well, you're like, wow. Yeah. But then if you've been doing it for years,
Starting point is 00:23:25 you're just like, it's work, it's a job. But I also get it. It is a very, you know, it can be glamorous. It can be, especially like when you've been in mom life for so long and now you have this whole new found fame and career and like, you know, you're getting work done and you're doing all these things and you're just like, oh, I like this new life.
Starting point is 00:23:43 There's nothing wrong with that. No, of course not, you can enjoy that, can't you? Even if she wanted to leave her husband just because she felt that way, no one would care. It's like, you do what makes you happy. You don't have to be, you know, whatever. But I think that she was just personally going through shit because the time that I did spend with her
Starting point is 00:24:01 when she was decent, she was decent. It was the flip-flopping that I didn't understand and I was like, oh yeah, no, I don't do that. So like you got to pick a lane with me, like, and you got to stay consistent. And it was like every time she was just looking for something to flip on me. And that was the problem. So when this came about, I was like, oh, you want me to be the bad guy? But I literally couldn't care less. Do you think she knew in her heart that he was?
Starting point is 00:24:22 She had to. I feel like as women we know that. That's what I meant before when I was like, the wonder whether she had that going through her head when she was projecting on to Brie. Some people don't know when their partners are having an affair. They do believe everything they're being told.
Starting point is 00:24:36 She might. Is he a liar? Do we know that he's a liar? Yeah, I see it. Are they still together now? No. No, no, no, not together. So I mean-
Starting point is 00:24:46 Are they going for a divorce? Yeah. But you was actually helping her with that. I feel like I did a solid. I was like, girl, no. Even on the phone, I was like, look, I know you don't like me, and I'm like, but either way, do what makes you happy.
Starting point is 00:25:00 If you want to go back to this man, do that. If you don't, fuck him. Here back to this man, do that. Like, if you don't, fuck him. Here's a great attorney and you should get this. You've been divorced before, haven't you? You know what you're doing. Yeah, I was like, no, no. I was like, girl, we're good here. So I'm like, I don't, it was just crazy.
Starting point is 00:25:16 I knew there was a part when we were filming where I was like, okay, she's gonna flip this on me. And I was like, you know what? I don't even care. Like, if that makes you feel better and it's what I don't give a fuck, fine. But then when she really started bringing in the other girls and taking it to this different level, I was like, hmm, okay.
Starting point is 00:25:31 I was like, all right, well this escalated. Yeah. It's a lot, because it feels like there's nothing worse than people ganging up on you. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. It's like. It's like school. It's like these back schools.
Starting point is 00:25:40 It is school. School, school, mingos. Yeah, it's definitely school. Do you ever feel the pressure to be like, like perfect mum because you're in the public eye? Do you feel like you need to always be like, good, right? I thought that would be your answer.
Starting point is 00:25:53 You seem like a very down to earth person. I feel pressure because I want the best for my son, but I don't feel like, you know, I wanna be better than my mom. I wanna be, you know, like all of those things, but I don't ever feel like anyone else. I'm like, please, all the things I do in a day. Like, I was like, I know that I do much more
Starting point is 00:26:10 than a regular person. So I'm like, and that, he's my number one priority. So if it's like, if I miss work, I miss work. That's amazing, well done. Well done, yay to mama. God, mama have that attitude. I'm not going to work. I mean, I do have a luxury as well. So I mean, I got to take that into account, you know, but yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:30 Bree's literally the definition of like, no fucks given. No, no. Like none. Let's all try and be more Bree. No, but I mess with my kid and that's a whole different thing. Starting point is 00:27:42 Yvette Fielding, wherever you get your podcasts from. But isn't it funny when you become a mum, suddenly you're like, it's like that fierce, like protective, like primal instinct with your kid, isn't it? It's like, I remember there was one time, somebody said something about Cooper and the way he looked.
Starting point is 00:28:02 And that, for me, Cooper's my little boy. That for me, I was like, you can say I'm, well online, yeah online. I was like, you can say anything about me. You tell me my little boy's not gorgeous and you're in trouble. Yeah, but also what's wrong with you? Oh, what's wrong with you?
Starting point is 00:28:18 What's wrong with you? You attack a child, it's bizarre. But people saying nasty things like death threats on your child. Oh yeah, he gets called all kinds of things. People say how ugly he is. He has red hair, this, that. And I'm like, I see your profile pics, honey.
Starting point is 00:28:34 Yes. We can see your pictures, honey. We can see you. I'm like, okay. So I'm guessing you don't actually care about trolling online. No, I don't really care about that. Like, whatever.
Starting point is 00:28:42 Do you ever go back at people that comment? Oh, I do all the time. Oh, do you? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. But I'm very witty and I'm very like, I don't even know the word. Like every time people are like, I fucking can't with you because what I'm always going to serve the logic while I backhand it. So it's kind of like a, it's a different way of handling it. You know, for me, it's my friends, my friend, if they see people commenting like horrible stuff, it would be my friends that go back. Oh yeah. And I'm like alright I don't
Starting point is 00:29:08 actually care let them say whatever but it's like them that be like right I'm going back. Well there was like a few things like people will say stuff about Nick and I forget what it was I posted something the other day I think it was like when we went out for Nick's birthday or something and they were like oh he loves all his baby mamas or something like that and I was like as he should because they gave him beautiful children and he does more than he needs to and he should. So what's the problem? Well, that's such a good response. Yeah, I'm like, Anne, what's the problem? Like, it was like, what, because you have
Starting point is 00:29:35 a deadbeat baby daddy, you're mad at mine? Like, what's the problem? So it's stuff like that that I'm like, I don't have time for it. Like, you don't even make sense. It's just practical thinking. It. Well, yes, he will Yeah, love them. I'll have affection for them because they're mere little humans. And if he didn't I should be worried. Yeah Yeah, exactly. Because if you're that heartless and you're that that you don't care about the women that are raising your child Yeah, I think that's pretty fucked up. Exactly. With someone who's got kids already you sit back and you look at
Starting point is 00:30:06 that and you're like, how do they treat their children, the women before? Yeah, totally. He still fully takes care of everybody, whatever you need, car, whatever. Everyone's taken care of because one nicky kid. Right? Ladies, just in case. No, it's just, he doesn't have to but he does because you know, obviously There's a lot that comes with him in general and just press and people and opinions and everything that like some people did not sign
Starting point is 00:30:33 Up for but the first thing with him is the kids which is like commendable because a lot of men don't do shit Yeah. Yes. So yeah, man. How do you cope with mum guilt? I don't. I don't. I really don't. I don't. I don't. I don't. I like. Every day, like I'll go to bed and I'll be like, fuck, I could have done this or I should have done that. Or did I spend enough time with him? Like, oh, I was on my phone. But can I just say, you've got a boy,
Starting point is 00:30:59 so don't feed him any of that because boys tug on your heartstrings so bad. Oh no, he's got me already. Yeah, they do. And he's mean to me. The other day, emotional manipulator. I go, he's like mad at me, whatever. And I'm like, I love you.
Starting point is 00:31:12 He's like, I don't love you. And looks at me and I said, mommy's going to cry. And he said, okay, okay, I love you. I was like, you little shit. I think boys are the worst for emotional manipulation. Yeah. I was like, oh no, we are not doing this right now. I was like, wow. It's when they tell you they're like,
Starting point is 00:31:30 I once, there was someone, I don't know who it was, and I was like, he said something, no, they look really pretty, mummy. I was like, are they prettier than your mummy? And he was like, yep. Oh, right, well that's cool. Thanks for that. I was like, and then she, me.
Starting point is 00:31:43 I mean, I was emotional manipulator there because I went, aw, that's made me really sad. And then obviously he comes over and tells me I am more beautiful. And I'm like, I forced him. I forced him to say that. I made him say it. I love it.
Starting point is 00:31:56 However, the other day he did say to me that I look really nice in my outfit. And I was like, yeah. Aw, see, he's teaching young. Brody will notice when I've had my hair done, I've changed my nail color, he noticed it. Oh, cute. So you keep him young. But you will notice when I've had my hair done, I've changed my nail color. He noticed it. Oh, cute.
Starting point is 00:32:07 Absolutely everything. That's great. So when he gets a girlfriend, they'll be like, wow, he's so on it. But it's because he's, even last night, tried to get in bed with me again. I'm like, you need to go back to your own bed. I was like, we're starting the star chart again
Starting point is 00:32:20 and you can get a star if you go back to your bed. He just wants to be with me all the time. It's cute, but I just need my space in bed. I feel that and then I start thinking like, damn, I only have so many times. Do you let him sleep in bed with you? He does. Have you always co-slept?
Starting point is 00:32:35 Poor Nick. Yes, Nick, you can sleep outside. He sleeps in bed. No, I usually get between like eight, 30 and like 12 or one. So I do get the time to like 30 and like 12 or 1. So I do get the time to like do what I wanna do and watch my show and then he'll wake up and then I'll give him a baba and then we'll cuddle. Oh, okay, so he'll come in in the middle.
Starting point is 00:32:54 That's a Bode Parker right there, that's what he does. He sneaks in and I'm like, last night I got in and then I was, no, we're not doing this. I was like, you've got to go back to your bed. You can get a star if you go back to your bed. Cause I'll just let him in and then that's it. When you've let him in once. He ain't gonna.
Starting point is 00:33:09 Oh I know, yeah cause I started doing it. Cause while Danny's been away, I kind of want the comfort myself. You're like, your dad's not here. Yeah, he's nicked away quite a bit. Yeah, so it's almost. But I'm the opposite, I like my bed open. I'm like that, like go to your bed.
Starting point is 00:33:22 But with him, it's different. Like a man, I don't want you in my bed. Oh I mean. But my kid, I'm like. That's what I'm like,, like go to your bed. Though with him, it's different. Like a man, I don't want you in my bed. But my kid, I'm like. That's why when Danny's away, I'm like starfishing. I'm literally just like, this is bliss. I don't need a cuddle, I'm too hot anyway. Exactly, and we fight over the air. He hates the air on, and I'm like sweating.
Starting point is 00:33:39 Oh, like air con. Oh, yeah, like I know Americans, we leave our air on 24 seven. Do you? I'm like, your throat's not dry. That's that's what he says And I was like, but he's like hot and sweating and wants to cuddle and I'm like Now I need the air and my kid likes the air so I'm like see Yeah, I do like a bit of air but no aircon cuz so funny when when English people go abroad and we're like, oh, it's so dry in here
Starting point is 00:34:08 Every night I love it. I'm sick. I'm ill from this Yeah, but then we start doing weird stuff like me like mouth taping. What's it called? Oh, yeah It takes his mouth. It's meant to be so good for you though. It's supposedly yeah, and it helps your jaw line That's what he said. I was out for God's sake for you though. Supposedly, yeah. And it helps your jawline. That's what he said. I was like, for God's sake.
Starting point is 00:34:24 I keep seeing it everywhere. Maybe I'll mouth tape. Now he's in the jungle. He was like, I wonder if I'm allowed to take my mouth tape into the jungle with me. I was like, sweetheart, no. What did he actually take? Is his?
Starting point is 00:34:35 It wasn't allowed. He wasn't allowed to. So basically they're allowed to take a luxury item into the jungle. Bear in mind, they're in there for a month. And this year it changed and the family had to choose. Well, family, I got a call saying, Georgie, you need to choose three items
Starting point is 00:34:50 in order of like favorite. So the first two were really good items. The last one, I thought, let's just do something funny. Let's just do, because there's a creek where you can like swim and stuff in the jungle. So let's get him a Lilo. And, oh, inflatable.
Starting point is 00:35:04 Inflatable. That goes in the pool. Okay, okay. And, oh, and. Inflatable. Inflatable. Inflatable. That goes in the pool. Okay, okay. What do you call it? Inflatable. Oh, inflatable. A Lila.
Starting point is 00:35:11 There's enough ones for you. You got that one for free. I love you for noting all these down. I'm telling you, I'm making a dictionary and I'm gonna be like, lend a dictionary. Just a Lila. A Lila. A Lila.
Starting point is 00:35:22 So I was like, it'd be brilliant because not only is it gonna be fun, right? He can use it as a bed, because they're beds, they're sleeping on hammocks and really comfy beds. Well, they sent this bloody lilo in, and it didn't have a middle to it, it was just netting in the middle, and then you could see his little face,
Starting point is 00:35:39 and he was like, a lilo. And then he went, oh, my little boy must have chosen it. And I was like, you're like, no please me, I sabotaged you. Oh no. Andrea- Three, do you reckon you'd go on a celebrity? Kirsty- Yeah, would you? Andrea- No. Andrea- Why wouldn't you do it?
Starting point is 00:35:53 Kirsty- I'm gonna be without a bed. Andrea- Why? Andrea- You can sleep in a hammock. Kirsty- What? Andrea- Outside. Andrea- Space. Andrea- Air. Kirsty- Air.
Starting point is 00:36:01 Andrea- Get some air outside. Andrea- What about eating bugs and With bugs, yeah. Rats? Yeah. Over my dead body. No way. Snakes. Danny had, daddy had a big snake down his pants, my husband. It wasn't actually his penis.
Starting point is 00:36:13 It wasn't his penis. I was like, that would be a different story. Yeah, I know. No, I would die. Yeah. Oh, I would die. What about any of the other ones? Would you do like strict, no, what's it called?
Starting point is 00:36:23 Dancing with the Stars. Yes, that would totally do. Yeah. Oh, I would die. What about any of the other ones? Would you do like strict, no, what's it called? Dancing with the Stars. Yes, that would I would totally do. Yeah. I would do like, I would do majority of shows. It's those like extreme ones that I'm like, why? The book ones. Yeah, like why put myself through this? Like how much are you paying exactly?
Starting point is 00:36:37 Because this seems like torture for fun. Million pounds, what'd you get for a million pounds? What is that in dollars? A million, well, just do a million dollars. Million dollars instead of no. Would you do a million dollars? No no how much would you want at least two yeah there are three weeks two million okay yeah but I know to know that yeah but sure. Right, so we're not gonna be seeing her in the selection. We're actually dancing with stars. But for anyone that doesn't know, what's the future looking like for you?
Starting point is 00:37:10 Are you in the next season? Yeah. Yeah. Unfortunately. Yeah, I will be there. Do you want out? Are you? You know, it's hard, cause it's like yes and no.
Starting point is 00:37:21 It's like, I do love certain aspects of the show and it can be fun. and obviously like what it does for your career and the fan base and everything is just so amazing and like that's not common in a lot of shows, you know? And so like there is appreciation for the franchise and like what they've built and you know, Adam's creative is like insane and his directing
Starting point is 00:37:41 but like it's just very taxing. So if it continues to be so toxic, then I'm out. But if we can like, make this transition back to what I thought I signed up for, then I'm good. I don't mind the drama, I can beef it out with whoever, but I think it's just at this point, it's gone a little dark and heavy, and I think it's unnecessary,
Starting point is 00:38:01 and I just don't feel like I really signed up for that. Because that's not what the show was when I watched it and approved and signed. So it's kind of like... Why do you think it's taken this turn? Because Chelsea's nuts. You think she's the instigator of all that. It's not just her and it pulls a lot too. Do you feel like she wants the attention and the fame and the...
Starting point is 00:38:19 Of course. I think majority of the people. In every episode. Yeah. I mean when she did come in with that really, really short skirt and her nunny was hanging out, it was a bit like that. They are, why is no one stopping that?
Starting point is 00:38:32 Cause you are actually meant to conduct yourself in a certain way because you are actually really setting real estate. You should be conducting yourself in certain ways. Breeze like Kelsey. Yeah. We're not trying to. Kelsey's got clued up. Let's hope we don't get Chelsea on this show because she'll be like, wow, you We're not going there. Kelsey's got clued up.
Starting point is 00:38:46 Let's hope we don't get Chelsea on this show because she'll be like, wow, you really are not a fan of Chelsea. I'll have to play a good girl. Sorry. George, you can take this one because I'm bang going to Bree. No, I'm team Bree too. It's a lot. I don't know. What upsets me, she's actually from
Starting point is 00:39:02 London, isn't she? Yes, I'm really sorry. please don't judge us all. I was like, oh, London, should I go there? Yeah. I don't know. I'm going to be like that. I'm going to be like Chelsea. I'm like, oh, no.
Starting point is 00:39:13 I mean, I'm not a Londoner. So yeah, it's certainly interesting. Bree, it's been wonderful having you on. Thank you. Please don't cry. I agree, I love it. I'll just stay here forever. For the first time ever, Kelsey might cry.
Starting point is 00:39:25 She's like, no. She's not crying. She's going to be skipping home. I love you. I'm sorry. But thank you, you've been wonderful. Thank you, it was great. Thank you guys. Well, that's a wrap on another episode. We thank our brilliant guest, Brie. I love you so much. So do I, maybe not as much as
