Today, I'm joined by not one, but two amazing guests. Clara Delahoyt, who we have had her on this show before
Starting point is 00:01:07 We had a right good catch up didn't we so and then we've got the lovely Brona Mere They are both from the amazing podcast the school runway Have you ever listened? Yes of course I've listened to it She's been on it I've been on it She has been on it Oh
Starting point is 00:01:22 And uh Brona how do you feel for being a virgin to this podcast? I'm actually a bit nervous. Really nervous, in fact. I kind of had to listen to a few, the lead up to this, and I'm a bit like, I don't know what to expect. I was prepping on the train on the way in
Starting point is 00:01:38 about lots of fashion-y stuff, but now you've told me that you're not gonna talk about fashion, so I don't know. Well, we might talk about fashion. As well, obviously, we record in our bedrooms remotely. Yeah. So this is just very, I've been here before but this is very harsh. We're classy, I'm a classy sort of girl.
Starting point is 00:01:50 You are, yes. On today's episode we are chatting about kids embarrassing us. Delilah's told my grandad that for Christmas she wants a haunted doll that looks like it's had its head cut off. Oh my god. Where she sitting is, I don't know. Wednesday, Wednesday Adam. Oh, well she got one. Oh yeah, she put it in the guillotine.
Starting point is 00:02:09 Oh, I feel better now, I thought my children were like, really part of the Adam's family. Dealing with our own mental health whilst having kids, do you feel like your mental health got worse when you had the kids, or was it always bad before? Oh no, I've always been a mess. And why it's okay celebrating our kids going back to school? I think every mum.
Starting point is 00:02:30 Yeah, like we spoke about it and we said that I really, I loved having them off for the six weeks and it was the last four days, I was like, do you know what I've done? And we've also got your listener questions. So go grab a cuppa, get comfy, and let's jump into a brand new episode of Mums the Word. So, yeah guys, I want to hear some embarrassing stories of the week.
Starting point is 00:02:52 I normally celebrate by telling my embarrassing stories, but I feel like over to you two to give me some... I don't even think I need to tell you my embarrassing stories though because my husband films it and puts it all over Instagram. He just films my child being children. Well, I mean Delilah literally is the gift that keeps on giving. Delilah's amazing. Yeah, and her name's Randall.
Starting point is 00:03:12 Did you say that? Yeah. Yeah, because all she does is grass on Fred. And we have told our children that snitches get stitches. It's like we live by in our house. We ain't grasses. But she don't. But to be fair, I do feel like it's a girl thing telling tales
Starting point is 00:03:25 Yeah, very does that yes, but I was telling house boys don't yeah Yeah, I find that dolly's the old ones that she would be more likely to tell me stuff But I tell everyone how old your kids are so dolly is eight and Hugo is the best night Thank you, you know such her name is actually Dolores my mom's name But I thought if she wanted to be like I don don't know, a doctor or a solicitor or something like a really important job when she's older, I didn't know whether Dolly would work, even though I love it. Yeah, I know who you mean.
Starting point is 00:03:55 Yeah. But yeah, she would be the one that would tell me more stuff. Probably, I don't know whether that's because Hugo's the one that does more of the stuff. But yeah, probably is girls. But then I have one sister, so we were probably both as bad as each other I'd say. Girls are bad. Girls are bad. But at the moment we've got a star chart. Oh yeah, I've heard about this star chart.
Starting point is 00:04:16 I love a star chart. The stars are really important at the moment. So they're waking up, they're getting dressed, they get a star. No moaning. But now if Aurelia a radio does something Brody goes do you think she should lose a star? Who got this star chart? Did your mom get it? No, this is not actually I've not actually got a physical star chart I was gonna say this Has the stars I can't see her going hobby craft and buying that. I can't see her mum. You know what I'm like, I did do that.
Starting point is 00:04:45 So you would have done that. You would have done a physical version but my kids don't need that. They've got the mental version of me saying, do you want to lose all your stars? They haven't got any stars have they? Let's be honest. No they did. They got up to ten. Oh you remember that in your heads?
Starting point is 00:04:57 Yes. But yeah we can remember that we haven't got an event tonight and it's tomorrow. Well actually, yes okay right. But you can remember that. She's brought up about the event. Me and Kara, well actually Kara invited me to an event with her at the weekend. But you actually did get invited to it. Because she's such a crybaby that she can't go anywhere without anyone.
Starting point is 00:05:11 So she's like, can you come to this event with me, told me it was on Tuesday. My support system and village have decided to go on a walking holiday. How dare they? So I put, my nan was coming over, my cousin was picking the kids up, Johnny was going to collect Aurelia from gymnastics and then on the way to record this podcast, I get a little message from Kara going, ah, you're never gonna believe it.
Starting point is 00:05:34 And then I put, well, you are, cause it's me. Yeah, there is no event tonight. The event is tomorrow night. Can you still come with me tomorrow though, please? Cause I don't want to go on my own. Yeah, I've actually booked in for the tarot card reading where at the event Yeah, what this time I can't be doing all that cuz that's when things are coming get ya Don't yeah, no, I wouldn't like that. She misses you for that stuff. Yeah makes me nervous. Yeah, I got a Ouija board
Starting point is 00:05:59 That's what she's making it sound like no so okay back to the kids Actually the star chart. I'll go back to the star chart my kids got ten stars What do they get when they get ten stars so they could they're evil get a treat But the treat was we went out and we saw despicable me for cute. Oh my god. I love that It was actually really cute. I'm really nice and quite funny and you get to sit on your phone and have a nice blast What's there? No, you wouldn't have a nice blast whilst you wouldn't live. Actually, I don't know why I said that. It's ridiculous. And you can just sit and scroll TikTok with your headphones in and they'll watch the film. Oh no, I watched it.
Starting point is 00:06:33 I watched the film, Kara. Yeah, so do I, obviously. She's talking about someone else. Yes, someone else. Might want to do that. Well, you actually don't, so when you take the kids to the cinema, you don't actually watch it. Well, no, it depends what it is. Sarah's like, oh, you've not seen Beetlejuice yet. No, watch it. Well no, it depends what it is. Sarah's hair is like,
Starting point is 00:06:45 oh you've not seen Beetlejuice yet. No, obviously Beetlejuice, we was all we know. I even bought a souvenir cup. I haven't seen it yet. Have you seen it? No. No.
Starting point is 00:06:52 It doesn't really tickle my fancy. Because you haven't educated your children on these films. That's what I mean. I don't understand why you don't like the whole spirits and- No, I do. Because you are a dark person. You need to be in the Addams family or something.
Starting point is 00:07:03 Oh, so Fred has started now listening to that. Obviously all the podcasts I listen to are about drag queens, serial killers, ghosts, and Harry Potter. And mum's the word. Oh, obviously, yeah. And of course, Fred knows I don't listen to everyone because I can't listen to my own voice. It makes me cringe.
Starting point is 00:07:20 So I was in the car the other day and there's one I listened to called Two Girls, One Ghost. They're two girls and they're into all that psychic and all this and they have listener stories and that People will write in about like all their things that have happened to them Fred is addicted now every time we get in the car He has to listen to it and it's great. I've cracked it Cracked it. Yeah this week was about haunted toys Fine and they're fine with that Delilah's telling my granddad that for Christmas she wants a Haunted doll that looks like it's had its head cut off. Oh my god. Where she's seen this? I don't know
Starting point is 00:07:52 Wednesday, Wednesday Adams. Oh well she got one. Oh yeah she put it in the guillotine. Yeah. Oh I feel better now I thought my children were like Really really part of the Adams family. Yeah. Anyway talking about ghosts Do you know any mates that ghosts ghost you have you got any friends? I mean, I spoke a couple of weeks ago on this podcast about that. I have a friend. It's me Yeah, I said to Georgia and my co-host that I have this friend who I love dearly I love her so much But she goes through stages where she just ghosts me like took the whole summer the whole summer Cara did not talk to me
Starting point is 00:08:33 I mean a good seven weeks and and George was like maybe you need to reach out to his friend I'm like no, I actually called her. I sent her like messages every week and I Sent her voice notes. I don't think there was anything else I could actually do, bar from turn up at a house but she's never given me a house dress and never invited me round. My house is mad. I've got a wolf, I've got two kids, I've got rats that have bit through my electricals now. You don't want to come to the woods. It just makes me feel so much better because I thought it was just me.
Starting point is 00:09:02 No, it's everyone. Well, she just goes, shoot. Yeah. So it makes me feel so much better because sometimes thought it was just me. No, she just goes sure Yeah, it makes me feel so much better because sometimes you know, like when we first started so I don't know if anyone knows this about the podcast, but I came up the idea for the school runway and For yet Kara's be amazing for this Message her like she kind of like gets back to me on stuff I was there before no before before the podcast thing like she'd respond to it
Starting point is 00:09:22 You know a thing something that put on Instagram and there there's something nothing I was not thinking I'm gonna find something to offend her like oh that's weird nothing then I'd like chase her again and then to the point you're a bit like this is getting embarrassing now like I don't know if I should and then I thought oh do you know what I'm just gonna go to her manager so I did and then she got back to me so you saying that makes me feel so much better I'm just not needy I probably will always have. But what happens?
Starting point is 00:09:47 You said, tell me what happens. I can't explain it to you. So we had an ADHD program the other week. We had an expert on it. She was amazing. She was like a hundred percent you've got ADHD. And we had a guest on before that who was like, have you definitely not been diagnosed?
Starting point is 00:09:59 And I was like, yeah, no. And she was like, yeah, I thought you had been. Who was it? I thought you had been diagnosed. Lottie said like, yeah, no, no. And she was like, yeah, I thought you had been. Who was it? I thought you had been diagnosed. Lottie said it, yeah. Lottie was like, you need to be diagnosed. So I just get mad anxiety about nothing. Like I can't even,
Starting point is 00:10:14 like I get anxiety about the most maddest things. Like knowing I had to come in today and thinking we had an event tonight. I've been stressing about this day for the last week. You know, like working out what time I've got to get up. If I was going to wash my hair, then what time would I have to do it? Obviously I didn't.
Starting point is 00:10:27 Obviously you didn't. Yeah, then working out the trains, then working out where I'm going to park at the train station because when, like, my brain is like... But what's crazy with you is when you actually know you... I'm a very nice person. No, you're... Oh, we know that. Yeah, we know you're a lovely person, but you actually don't...
Starting point is 00:10:44 Like, you're not like that as a person. No you're... Oh we know that. Yeah we know you're a lovely person but you actually don't it's like you're not like that as a person. No I'm like quite confident but I have to know. Really confident but then when you actually know Kara it's like two sides of Kara. Because you're very chilled actually if anything I'm the more frantic one and you're like chilled but then when we're not together like yeah. She over thinks everything so when she first did it to me you know it was we'd not been friends that long and she first when she first did it to me. When she first did it to me. We should message each other and have a little self-help. We should just have a Kara club a ghost a Kara ghosting club. club Yeah No when it first happened we actually went to an event Like she hadn't spoken to me for probably again about five weeks turn up to this event and she started crying
Starting point is 00:11:31 I was like I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm teaching you. And I was like why are you crying for a car? She just laughed in my face bruv. Laughed in my face. I just said to her you would I am one of these people you would never offend me Yeah, like she could never offend me. She didn't want to be my friend anymore. I'd be like, okay, that's fine. I'm sorry about you Don't leave me. I'm sorry if I've upset you but like I'm gonna start crying now We haven't made Brian a cry on our podcast The day this will be the day they're growing the cries
Starting point is 00:12:00 No, I just I don't know if anyone else gets this year But so you you you won't, because you're very organized and you're quite organized, but because I'm so unorganized and chaotic and I can't ever organize anything. So like you messaged me or you messaged me and I'm in a period of like, oh my God, I can't cope with things at the moment.
Starting point is 00:12:15 I'll look at that message and then I'll think, okay, I will get back to that. And then I'll forget about it. And then I'll look at it the next day and I'll be like, I can't apply now, because I look like a bad person cuz I'm applied What's in it you just leave it seven weeks? Yes, and then but in my brain it will get worse and worse And I will see that message sitting there. Do you just have a heavy people do you have on unread not Nathan though?
Starting point is 00:12:36 She facetimes Nathan. Oh, yeah Actually, oh a hundred and fifty5 messages that I've never opened. That's probably mine chasing you for the podcast. No, no, no. No, she's opened you now. I'm opened. I'm back in the game. And then do you know what she did? Do you know what Kara did to make it better? So she knew that she hadn't spoken to me for seven weeks. She was bringing the kids to K2K that day, so she FaceTimed me in the morning.
Starting point is 00:13:02 Yeah. Nice to make it better for you. Hi, we're coming today. I was like, hi Carl. I was like, are you live? Luckily she has actually got social media because I would be worried as a friend. Yeah, yeah. I see her posting.
Starting point is 00:13:14 I can't explain it and I know it's irrational and I know it's absolutely ridiculous, but it's like in my brain I go, oh my God, I've not replied to that, that's so rude. And then I will just put it off and put it off. But I do about silly things. Like there's a, I've got a change over my address on something at home And I know that I've got to do that, but in my brain something blocks me from doing it
Starting point is 00:13:34 What is that? I don't know well Let's say we've got work, and I know that I've got to do this bit of content Just put it off. Yeah, and it's so simple, and I just know if I just done it at the time Then it's done. I do that. Why do we do we do I think it's because we make it into a big deal and then once you do it you're like Oh my god, that took me five minutes and testifies enough Yeah And if you hadn't like ignored it for two weeks and if this I feel like maybe we work better under pressure Mmm, a lot of people do that
Starting point is 00:13:59 And I think that's probably all three of us probably do that because like I didn't even know where I was going until About half an hour Before I got here you tell me yeah The producer yes, I went oh yeah, don't you I confirm but the girls are coming Yeah, and I hadn't confirmed with you, but I confirmed a car Liz and I'm so lucky to have my mom because I knew on and my auntie No, because Julie is a little bit more like me. She's a she because she's creative. She yeah I was crazy. She puts off so my star sign. Are you I'm Pisces Oh saying yeah, so creative and romantic
Starting point is 00:14:39 like I'm a shawty and if there is like like what car was saying if it's like you've got to change your dress or you've got to do this It's like paperwork. It would take two seconds, but in my brain I'm like I'll do it later. And then it's six weeks and you're like, oh yeah, better pay that. Fine. I'm a cancer, what does that mean? Oh, you're really sensitive and you are actually quite sensitive. Yeah, well then all three of us are sensitive. Oh God.
Starting point is 00:14:59 I don't think I'm actually that... maybe I'm sensitive. No, I think you've, because of what you've been through I think you are sensitive, but I think you've built up such a good Not armor or that but I just think you're so good at doing that. Do you know I mean? But I have always been like this show when people go. Oh, I don't know how you've you can cut Hmm, I think cuz I've always been able to cut yeah, you know when you fall out with friends Not that I've really felt falling out friends. I'm have amazing I've got amazing. It's not when things happen and it would really Like people would dwell on it. Yeah, I'm just can sort of you can move on
Starting point is 00:15:33 I forget I can't be bothered to just I would hold it I'd be quite sad about things for a long time I think not angry but probably it would affect me and I'd be sad about it. I don't know. Yeah, yeah Yeah, when things like that happen to me. But do you know what, somebody the other day said to me about looking up your birthday and the year and I didn't believe in all of that, you probably do Kelsey, don't you? And I didn't believe in any of that stuff. I was like, yeah, whatever, whatever. And then on the day, they looked up a couple of people's birthdays and then it looks like mine and it was so true and I was like, oh my god This is mental
Starting point is 00:16:05 so basically if you look up the actual birthday and the month and the year and Then the way they describe you as a person there were certain things that was like, oh my god I don't it was quite nice. Like it wasn't was only you. Yeah, it was so weird. So I've become quite into it now Yeah, no crystals. No, but maybe I should She's got retreats then do you into it now. Oh. Yeah. Have you got crystals? No, but maybe I should. Come to my house, I'll sort you out. She's got retreats though. Do you? Yeah, plug that, plug that.
Starting point is 00:16:29 Plug that, Kel, she's got an aura retreat everyone. They are good, I've been, I had a lovely time. Thanks, Kel. Do you feel like your mental health got worse when you had the kids or was it always bad before? Oh no, I've always been a mess. I've been, I was on antidepressants from the age of 15. Yeah, and you actually was on antidepressants when you went into love island. Yeah, and I had to go down to the medic every day
Starting point is 00:16:49 And take him I don't know if they let me now if they're a bit like that. I don't know Maybe they've changed regulations are changed a lot over the years and you can't do things done years ago Yeah, they have to be open to everyone Yeah, I know but it's an inclusive any medication. Yeah, but if it's mental issues, then maybe no not duty of care I don't know. You must have done a psych test to go on it. How did you pass it? I don't know. You know, we had to all go and have an STD test as well. Everyone that goes in Love Island Listen, I am not I just love what I'm doing in the world
Starting point is 00:17:20 I'm very prudish But you were like that I'm not like that prudish. What? Yeah, we're like spoke about sit on love Island I remember that I've heard I'm a weirdo. No, I think I was to get asked yesterday I'm like now listen, you've got to give me five seconds and I have to that cuddle him and not moving close I was a get ready. You want to feel more emotional about it? I'm just really awkward. You're just an old good person. Oh She's an old good. I am, I think. Well, I know I am.
Starting point is 00:17:46 I'm awkward. That's why YouTube also games so well. I think it is. Yeah. We're like so different, but we're similar in like weird ways. And Kelsey's awkward too, isn't she, my best friend? Is she? I've not met her.
Starting point is 00:18:00 She likes it when I bring her up on the pod. Hi Kelsey. Hi. Hi. Yeah, she does awkward things and. I know you're listening. Hi. Yeah, she does awkward things and I'm like, why are you being... We went to an event the other day. No, no. Tell it.
Starting point is 00:18:11 Tell it. We went to an event the other day and she was in her element. And really... She loves a freebie. Okay, Kel loves a freebie. We all do. But she's got a really big following on Instagram. She's absolutely smashing it.
Starting point is 00:18:22 She does weekly videos with her high-spin dance videos. But she just loves a freebie. Tell the story, tell the noise you made. I just can't even. What noise? We went over to this lady that had shoes. Was it like a baby show? The words that Kelsey said just didn't make sense. She was like, we would like shoes.
Starting point is 00:18:44 And I went, ugh. I went, what's wrong with you? She was like, you're never coming to an event with me again. Cause really I was actually going to support her and help her with Winnie and whatever else. And then I just went and insulted her and she was like, honestly, you're never coming again. And I wanted to leave early too.
Starting point is 00:19:02 She would have stayed there till five o'clock at like three half two three I went let's round this It wasn't Kelsey that was the awkward one. Words didn't come out right. She was excited and nervous all in one and she just spoke rubbish. I just love her so much though. She's a great person.
Starting point is 00:19:35 No, she's my best friend in the whole entire world. She's more like my sister. Yeah, you are. I love her so much and we have that relationship. So she does just make it up. We always have that relationship where we constantly take the week out of each other. I mean on Saturdays I have to tell her to like come on wind it in now. Hukara? Yes. I didn't realise I swear so much. I don't think you do. I'll keep it very clean on our podcast because children listen don't they with the school run. That's the whole point of it you listen to it on the
Starting point is 00:20:02 school run. Yeah no I know I do listen to it on the school run. Yeah, no, I know. I do listen See, I think like I would I enjoy listening to a podcast when I'm putting washing away. Yeah, all right Yeah, I oh, you know, I've noticed that I have to listen to podcasts quite a lot Let this when you're going to sleep like me. No, no, not not that no I can actually switch off quite easily when I go to sleep But when I'm if I need to carry on doing something like things I find really boring Like housework or anything like that have to listen to a podcast otherwise I'll stop and I'll walk off and I'll start doing something else. Yeah, so it just keeps me. I agree motivated Yeah, I've listened to podcasts when I go to sleep. I was quite relaxed. That's weird
Starting point is 00:20:39 Yeah, because that would actually get my brain ticking. I know I've told you this cuz you went to me Why have you got them blue-tay of headphones in ear? You're gonna you're gonna give yourself an illness Yeah, cuz I sleep with them in every night What you sleep with them it yeah until it falls out car that is so bad Why don't you just put it on like because then Nathan will you actually shouldn't really have your phone in your room with you? I know but I can't sleep. Oh no I'd have to. I have to, I leave my phone on throughout the night. You know like people would turn it on silent.
Starting point is 00:21:09 I can't do that. I have to have it on in case of emergency. I never have my phone on loud. Is that weird? Yes. No I don't even have my phone on loud. My phone has been on loud. How do you find your phone?
Starting point is 00:21:19 I'm constantly looking for my phone. My phone's got a sticky thing on and so is yours because I gave it to you but you took it off. It didn't fit on that phone case Right, so Cara you got some bad press for celebrating your kids start in school You're you're googly me more than I do. Yeah, you was in the Sun. There was a nice What did they say? I don't even know go on what did I say? They said that you celebrated your kids going back to school should it I think every mum Yeah
Starting point is 00:21:48 Like we spoke about and we said that I really I loved having them off for the six weeks and it was last the last Four days. I was like, do you know what i'm done? I'm absolutely done. They're bored. They're bored It's not fun for kids to be at home all the time not around their friends. No, I get so bored What about these children that are homeschooled? Oh, listen, I'll be honest, the state of the country at the moment, right? You know I'd have to get on to it. Here she goes, right? Let her get on a soapbox. I would love to homeschool my kids.
Starting point is 00:22:13 They go to a lovely school. I cannot fault their school. I love their school. It's a little country school. There's one class per year. The teachers are amazing. I could not have a better school. But if I had the patience, I would homeschool.
Starting point is 00:22:24 And if you had different children. Yeah, but I know that I couldn't, I think people that homeschool are amazing because I know I physically couldn't have the patience to do it, but I think it's great. That's the same as me. Because I think as well, even now with homework, like Aurelia has gone into year one and she's got... She gets a lot of homework. Yeah. Because the other day I was looking at it and it's amazing the homework she's got.
Starting point is 00:22:48 Really? It's a lot for her. Do you know, is it all like online on those kind of... No, no, no. It's all paper. Which that makes me happy too because she's not having to do it on an iPad. Yeah. But it's so funny with... I was thinking, imagine if I actually homeschooled you because I am like Kara.
Starting point is 00:23:03 I would love to do the whole homeschooling thing but I've just not got it in me to do it yeah when I was talking to her about her homework and I actually remember do you remember your mum trying to sit to do your homework with you? I couldn't do it with my dad we used to go mad at each other. Oh my god my mum's voice used to literally drive me mad and then I was looking at a radio thinking she feels the same about me that's how I felt about my mom. I don't really do that. I know that sounds bad but unless they want to do it I don't do it because I think they're babies they're at school all week. We don't actually get that much homework in our school but now... You're private so that's not private to you. It's private yeah okay. They've only just recently moved to the school. It's private. Yeah, okay. Yeah, they've only just recently moved. Okay Okay, it's a reason it's a lovely school and I'm really happy. Yeah, and I've worked hard and I'm working hard if you
Starting point is 00:23:52 Which can I couldn't afford it for two but I think if you can yeah And that means you get to take on another day and I was gonna mind it you true This is my biggest thing with one in time school because I think people should children should travel I think they should see the world. I think they see different cultures not when they're doing exams Granted but our children's age and it's so expensive and holiday times. Yes. I think that should be I mean I don't understand how that's allowed like to put our children. No, I mean as I get school holidays That prices go up. That should be what is that. Yeah, what is the reason behind that? Is there a reason?
Starting point is 00:24:26 Is that all it is? It literally is, they know they can get away with it and that's what they do. That's really sad because it means- Because even now we notice with the October half term, because some schools were doing two weeks, some are doing one, but now their prices have gone up. They literally-
Starting point is 00:24:36 Yeah, we do too in the October, November, we're two weeks now. Because I agree, I think it's part of being able to go and see different countries And if you can afford to do it or you know even just traveling in the UK Things to cost so much money during school holidays And it's kind of it's not fair then for people that maybe can't afford it I'm like we are talking about the fact that we went to IB for this summer on our podcast
Starting point is 00:25:00 But the last couple of years we haven't been able to go on holiday because we renovated our house So all our money is going into that but like I really felt like oh The kids absolutely love seeing another country and you know having you just and bonding all together as well together Yeah, proper cheesy, but you do you're spending time together. Yeah, I just think it's so important I think as adults you look back now. Yeah, you look at your school days You're like they were fantastic, but you remember like your holidays with your parents and I could tell you nothing about school Could you? Be honest. What do you use in your day-to-day life?
Starting point is 00:25:32 I know our jobs are a little bit different to maybe like like, you know going into an office every day But what what do you use? Do you use any of that maths? And I just think now school is not for everyone No School isn't for everyone but I think you're penalised if you're one of them children that it's not for you. Like I'm quite fortunate I think my kids are going to do really well at school and that is definitely not for me. That is their father's genes and the Parker genes because we're all quite practical and we're all
Starting point is 00:26:00 self-employed and we all do like doing jobs. What do we do? No you know like my family like we're all self-employed and we all do like, doing jobs. What do we do? No, we don't like my family, like we're roofers, we're builders, we're bricklayers, my auntie sews, my mom's a hairdresser. Like your cousin, she sings, everyone's quite creative. Yeah, we're creative, we're more that route. So none of us actually did amazing at school, whereas I think the Rayleigh and Bodie, the kids,
Starting point is 00:26:22 I think they'll do quite well, but if it wasn't for them, I would be so upset. And I remember like when my brothers, obviously they're not that, they've only just come out of school, like Maxwell was not interested at all in education. And I just think you're penalized for that now. If you're dyslexic, you struggle, you enjoy sport more. I just don't think they're that.
Starting point is 00:26:44 Well, Nathan had to go college because Nathan was like classed as a naughty kid. Looking back at it now, he's 100% got ADHD and he has got dyslexia. Without a doubt. So he used to go to like Northampton somewhere to a college. Like them last couple of years of school because school was no good for him.
Starting point is 00:27:00 He was just a naughty class clown, but he clearly wasn't. He was just clearly really struggling but couldn't do anything about it. Yeah they're doing a lot more apprenticeships now and stuff as well which I think is really good which is great because you kind of like you're earning money and you're still studying and you're out in the world. That's it and a lot of it is actually hands-on learning. It's like when you pass your driving test really you don't really learn until you're actually driving which is true., you're right, and you've not got your driving instructor next to you anymore. Yeah Was that the first place you went to
Starting point is 00:27:34 But then you probably ate McDonald's I did eat McDonald's by them. Why are you always so judgmental on me? I'm just saying did you go when you first? I just don't eat McDonald's anymore, and I've changed my around. You know, I'm trying to make you a better person. You do, you do. I'm not saying you're a bad person if you eat McDonald's, but I just... Oh, look at you now. So you're covering yourself too. Covering myself. Backtrack, backtrack.

Starting point is 00:30:11 What, so, you know, you talk about the school runway. What do you think we should be wearing on the school runway? Well, no. What do you wear? What do I wear? Well, I wear a lot of crazy stuff on the school run. Do you actually, do you get dressed to go to school? I normally in the mornings would wear, like I'm a completely different person in the morning
Starting point is 00:30:32 school run to the afternoon school run. So in the morning I would either be in gym clothes and a lot of the time I would go to the gym at some point in the day because I need to clear my head. That's the main reason why I go. And then, no makeup, which we spoke about last week, which was horrendous. Somebody was really mean about me not having makeup on. Really? What did they say? Donata said, shoulda said to him, your mum.
Starting point is 00:30:57 She's trying to bring it back. Trying to bring your mum back. Your mum back, your mum. Yeah. What did they say to you? Oh, we had a bit of a disagreement and he said to me, I suggest you go home and suit your face out. So I just rose above it obviously and then went home and analysed my face and uh,
Starting point is 00:31:10 and it's awful because I really like don't, yeah, but we were talking to Nora straight away. I have got like this thing where, that we were saying like, makeup, not that I wear loads, but it is a bit of armour, like it makes me feel better. And I've been trying to embrace the fact that I've got no time in the morning. I do always have a shower before I do the school run Do you know she has a shower and a bath every day too? Hmm, that's a lot of work, isn't it? That is a lot of work, but I do feel you on that one What you have a shower in the morning? There's no way you don't have time in the morning I'd know but I'll do it when I get back. No, she'll do it before school
Starting point is 00:31:41 I can't do it before the school run that would be I literally- Yeah, but it's a quick shower We had 20 minutes. What time do you get up? No, honestly what I do now is I've decided because when they first start the school I was waking up and giving them an hour. No, there's no point doing that So we get our bed a quarter past seven. We then put the uniform on we go downstairs They both eat their breakfast. Then we do shoes, they do their teeth at the door and then we go and get in the car and that is it.
Starting point is 00:32:09 What time do you have to leave? I feed the dog, let the dog out, do myself a coffee, do their lunch stuff while they're eating, not packed lunch, now they're having school dinners. I'll do a little snack and then we're out the door, literally within 20 minutes. But what time do you leave? That's amazing. 20 to 8. That's amazing. Like how, I don't understand how you do that. Do you leave their clothes all laid out? I get my clothes out every night before.
Starting point is 00:32:31 Yeah I do. I leave it in their room so that when they're up they get dressed. They don't like it. They come down and then I think at least that's, there's no arguments because they do the baths the night before. Yeah. So they're, yeah. And then, but in that, I'm having my shower
Starting point is 00:32:50 It's five, you know five minutes shower. Anyway, and then a bath in the evening. So you have to have a bath in the evening Yeah, I love a bath. Anyway Clara you barely washed that's probably why But we haven't got enough water in our boiler Like what I'm saying she turned up on Saturday and was like Leave me alone You need a combi boiler. I know this is a house Rena This is what she said to me. She goes she comes to my house She invited herself around to mine after dancing I stayed there all night I'd been a cup of tea and then we was talking
Starting point is 00:33:10 Oh, no, we was actually talking about going on the school run. What did we wear on the school run? We actually had this conversation my house And she said the kids were so naughty this morning and misbehaving I said I have paid for you to go to K2K you are going so she said I Sacrificed brushing my own teeth and getting dressed for this so she just literally did you have your pajamas on still? You said the t-shirt t-shirt just I've not brushed my teeth remember Celtic don't matter they're not real And I was like good point, but you probably still have to brush them. Yeah, don't you? Yeah, I just you know the morning you used to don't get it yet
Starting point is 00:33:49 But my was just an absolute nightmare and I was like, you know what I would get myself ready and then Take my eyes off of him five minutes and then they're gonna mess around again And then I'm never gonna get this door. Yeah, they're ready and I should go no I totally get that can we go back to the teeth if you don't brush your those teeth Can we go back to the teeth? If you don't brush those teeth, will they still... No, I do brush my teeth. No, no, no, no. I'm not like, I don't. I was like, I'm going to see Kelsey. I absolutely know that.
Starting point is 00:34:09 I'm going to drop them to K2K. I can't be bothered to get them to a tan. But they won't stain. That's what the question is. No, no, no. Because they won't stain. They're made like what toilets are made of. That's a really nice way of describing it. Yeah, but toilets still stain. No, not the outside. I can put shit on them.
Starting point is 00:34:27 I've never thought of being like that. I mean, I'm so happy I got her on this pod again. Yeah. So that's what she said to me. Oh okay. That was really in confidence, I was livid. I'm joking, I really don't care. I know you don't care. Oh no, she's going to go to me for another seven weeks. Yeah. No, but my kids aren't at K2K this week because I'm going to Vegas, but I've already already told you that but they are going tonight. Yeah, they'll be there tonight What was I going to run out? What do you two wear on the school? I say we was actually having this conversation on Saturday that at the moment I mean, I really wanted to make a good impression because I've obviously started a new school. Oh, yeah, it's posh girl It's a posh girl. What do they wear on your school run?
Starting point is 00:35:01 It's a posh skull. It's a posh skull. What do they wear on your school run? Probably all the nannies stripping them off in there. There's more than any posh skulls. I don't know, maybe there's a few nannies, a few big cars. See, I told you. But I think I've got my head down. I don't really look what other people are wearing
Starting point is 00:35:17 because I'm just modified. The other day, I actually, even by the afternoon, I was still in my pajamas. And I saw my mate, Steph, and she was like, oh hi, I was like, yeah, Steph, I still got my pajamas on. Literally no bra, nothing, I just wore a tracksuit on. But I've said I did it in winter.
Starting point is 00:35:32 And then what I do is then get home and then get ready. So today, I did it in a tracksuit, I'm actually back in a tracksuit, but I went and done the school run in the tracksuit, came home, had my shower, washed my hair. I had a bath today, leave me alone. Blow dried my hair. Yeah. Okay, I've got a confession to make.
Starting point is 00:35:48 Oh, show no- She's not had a shower today. No, she did. Of course I have. But I did put my gym leggings and gym jumper over my pajama top this morning. Didn't have a shower until I got back. So there you go. Welcome to the game.
Starting point is 00:36:02 I'm just, you know, confession time. Welcome. No one's smelling you then. No, I know. I'm doing a confession time. Yeah, no one's smelling you then I'm now I know I was in the morning everyone so Excited that they've got their kids. Yeah one time that I couldn't tell you what anyone wears and when I'm not even to be honest I agree get their kids there on time. Well done. You know you survived. Yeah, but you say about the makeup I barely wear makeup. I wear my car. Have you got makeup on now? I've got a bit of makeup on now but it looks really nice and natural but other than that I like on a day to day I never wear makeup like on a
Starting point is 00:36:32 Saturday we will never wear makeup yeah but you two but got really good skin and I think that's a lot to do with it I think also just in your head that you like it's like me with fake tan I always have to have a bit fake tan on because of in my head I'm like oh my god I don't look right without it whereas I look at other people that don't wear fake tan and I think they look lovely so I think it's however you feel which is what we always say about the school run outfits nobody cares what you're wearing it's how you feel so we can't we never really tell anyone's like oh you should be wearing this you should be wearing that it's a case of whatever you want to wear and if you as long as you feel
Starting point is 00:37:04 good in it if you've got the you as long as you feel good in it If you've got the confidence to wear it you feel good where it yeah Actually honest to God wouldn't even notice what anyone was wearing apart from myself I'm more interested in why we're like you're saying someone coming into view not wearing makeup Like I wouldn't even and a geezer to do hey, yeah, but he was just being mean He was thinking of the light the worst. Yeah, yeah, But did he just think he was a savage school mum on the drive? Yes, he told me to learn how to drive my car, which I was... I was actually more offended by that because I definitely can drive.
Starting point is 00:37:33 And like I said, on Ask Our podcast, I learnt how to drive in London, where it's extremely busy. So I definitely know how to drive. Thank you very much. And that is Broner's statement for the day. And also, I definitely would have said to your mum back, I probably would have said, oh... No, but that's what I mean, it's not offensive, I ain't sworn at him, you ain't said nothing. I just laughed at him and said that's really nice.
Starting point is 00:37:49 Sometimes, and I think actually that's probably why he came back with that, because if you just laugh, it's a bit like, oh, it's not working, I'm not upsetting you. Do you know what I've done before? All these people were queued up, and do you know when you're just not even thinking? So I've gone to like overtake them and realize that they were all queuing. Oh, yeah, that's awful
Starting point is 00:38:08 Yeah, so this lady was like baby me and going absolutely mental So I reversed back put the window down went. I'm so sorry. Oh, yeah, I'm having a really bad day Yeah, kill people of kindness. Yeah, I'm really bad. I'm even thinking about what I'm doing. I'm so sorry She was that didn't know what to say to me That's what Nathan does if someone's rude to him. He's so overly nice that it Annoyed them because he's being so nice, but if they was to explain situation to anyone else They'd be like are you all right? Yeah, I think it's what day people catch you on as well 100% I was on my period on Friday and did you have your pants on? Yeah, I have my pants on. I'm starting to convert into period pants.
Starting point is 00:38:45 The period pants, woo! She's always going on about that, Asia. Are they not good, honestly? They are good, they are good. Even just for bed? Just for bed. Just try it for bed. But I was on my period and I went into this shop
Starting point is 00:38:57 that you can book holidays in, I won't say what shop it was. And do you know when they're just not being helpful? How come you went into a shop. Do people still do that? Actually, I shouldn't really because I've got my own travel business. However, it was a holiday that I booked a year ago anyway, but this lady was really just rubbing me up the wrong way. And normally I'm like positive energy. And you like to book a holiday and give her a load of money. That's what would annoy me
Starting point is 00:39:20 more. That was my point. And she just kept saying stuff and I was like, can you just stop saying things and I really got mad? But I wasn't really really rude, but my mom was the good cop and I was bad bad cop She was like Kelsey sometimes you just need to like, you know breathe and then right Yeah, but I'm on my period and it does make you feel different. She does stop it Diane I just want to be unreasonable. I just want to be rude to someone Diane That's what Ben was saying to me when I told him about the guy in the car and he was like Do you know what they you've got to get your head around the fact that when people get into their car
Starting point is 00:39:49 They turn into a completely different person and like you have no idea what's going on in that person's life that day. So It's like with you like I say, you know Like you're in your period and stuff people don't know that you're in like not in the mood for it So I kind of been like the person who's really calm about stuff makes me think he's really. Yeah. And I was like actually you know what you're right like maybe that guy was just having a really bad day and took it out of me. So I'm trying to be the positive person here. I'd love that guy to be listening to one of these podcasts and be like I think that was me. Twice. She's brought it up twice now. I really got to her.
Starting point is 00:40:21 Yes. Right girls I have got some listener questions for you. Kara, how do you contain your laughter with all the stuff Delilah does? I'm over it, no I'm joking. They are, and Kelsey knows my kids so well. When I go down to dancing, I let her parent them because they don't listen to me. But I just think, I look at them.
Starting point is 00:40:45 Also when she says that it does depend what mood Delilah's in whether she's gonna let me parent her or not. Yeah, I can imagine. Fred's the good one at the moment. Oh really? Only because the other week we had to take all these things away. We took his PlayStation, his Switch, his pad.
Starting point is 00:40:57 So he had no fault night for about a week. Did you see a difference? Massive. So now he's allowed it for an hour after school. And we spoke about this on this podcast, our podcast, a couple of weeks ago that we were saying about punishments that you do have to follow through and do the punishment. So they, he has learned.
Starting point is 00:41:14 He's had it all taken away. Even you see on Saturday, he was like a different child. Yeah he was. It's like the halo was like, woo! Even if it's gonna affect us, like the adult, cause I've done the same thing I took the Kindles away this weekend and I was a bit like, oh, you know
Starting point is 00:41:29 Yeah, so it's exactly the same. He tried to trick her mum to give it to him. Yeah Can I you can either then talking about Dolly, yeah grass in him up and she turned around she went no, he's not an adis Mama's like oh No, I just um, I think I'm just so used to it in my house because Nathan, they've just both got Nathan's personality. So it's just a house full of clowns, my house. I love what she just says that it's Nathan that's like that. Yeah, I'm not like that.
Starting point is 00:41:55 You are like that. What am I like? What am I like? The stuff you've come out with is definitely a mix of you and Nathan with your children. No, that's just awkwardness and ADHD, just saying things to be. Or awkward silence, or let's just say saying really out there. But no, I just think that's my house and I like showing my house how it is.
Starting point is 00:42:20 I don't like, we never portray that our house is this perfect house that's clean and my kids are always behaving and sometimes kids are funny and they might do things that, you know, are a bit rude or they swear or something but I'm a child and I find it quite funny. I probably shouldn't but I do. Well the people on Instagram want to see. Yeah and I just... I think they do, I think you're just so real that people go, oh do you know what, I don't feel as bad about my kids now.
Starting point is 00:42:44 Yeah I do and like I said this too didn't children are like, I'm so like with play dates, I would like to have play dates and things. And my friends and the people my children around are people with children that are similar to mine because I can't have the anxiety of going somewhere and worrying about what they're going to say. Obviously, I'm still going to parent them. I don't let them run free. But you know, like, you know who your people are the ones that are like like
Starting point is 00:43:06 with you you'll tell them yeah and I don't mind my friends telling my kids if they've done saying because that's the way it should be but I just yeah I think I just I like to be around people with children. I definitely think that how do you get your drawn to your people though yeah you find your people or they find you and it makes such a difference when you've got them. It really does. Like we say that on ours all the time don't we like to have your little try it's so helpful. And there's just no judgement between your friends. That's what it is I can't have people that judge I can't do it because I don't judge anyone and I don't want to be judged. And also I just love like even having K2K the stories
Starting point is 00:43:41 and the stuff the kids come out with. You must know everybody's back, like, hidden secrets. When they were like, when we used to do it, obviously, and it was like my proper full-time job, when I teach the babies, it was asking them what they thought their parents did for a living. Oh, that's so funny. They'd done a show this year and they had to say what they wanted to be when they grew up.
Starting point is 00:44:01 What did Delilah want to be? Like an astronaut Barbie? Or like, what did she say? It was something outrageous. All the other kids were like, I want to be a policewoman. I want to be when they grew up. What did Delilah wanna be, like a astronaut Barbie? Or like, what did she say? Something out, Rachel, the other kids were like, I wanna be a policewoman, I want to be a doctor. Hers was like, I want to be an astronaut. I'm sure it was something really bad and Fred wanted to be a paleontologist. Yes.
Starting point is 00:44:17 Really? Yeah, let him do that, that'd be good. Yeah. Isn't that what Ross out of Friends is? That's the only reason I know the name of what the actual name of what it is. The actual name of what it is. A dinosaur doctor. She blatantly told Freddie what to say, didn't she?
Starting point is 00:44:29 Say something good. Say something good so we look good when it comes up on the screen. Kara, are you having your Disney fix before the end of 2024? No, and I'll tell you what, and I'll be honest, and I will be honest about it. We were going to Disney, but it's been a slow year and I can't afford to to go to Disney and I think that's the same for a lot of people this year we did have it booked we was going in November they was going to miss a couple of days of school but we just got to a point where we've had so many things come out like you know unexpected bills and I can't like we try and live within our means you know I mean I mean? Because obviously the job we do, we're so lucky we do it,
Starting point is 00:45:06 but this could all end tomorrow and I don't wanna have bills going out that we can't cover if this work suddenly goes away. So yeah, we was going to Florida and we canceled it. I told the kids, but we just couldn't afford it. It's so expensive, it really is. It's really expensive, but I think everyone's feeling the pinch at the moment
Starting point is 00:45:25 I've moved a holiday. I was meant to go away on Boxing Day. I really and I've moved it till next year I just think yeah like Kara's saying it's so hard with this job because we don't know whether we're coming or going And I think you have to be sensible Yeah, and we have both been sensible. Yeah, and I was really proud of you. We are sensible girls, Kara. I'm very proud of you as well. Yeah, like, because obviously we're going Vegas this week. It's my best friend's wedding. So obviously, and it's nice. It's me and Naeve time away. And obviously that's not cheap going to Vegas.
Starting point is 00:45:54 America's so expensive now anyway. But yeah, I was just like, do you know what? I'm going to put my sensible head on and I'm going to keep myself blessed. You're probably going twice next year. Yeah, probably. I cancelled Disneyland Paris this year as well because I was going for Delilah's birthday so I've canceled two trips this year because I just can't I don't want to skimp myself out yeah well it's the right thing to do yeah very grown-up right for owner oh
Starting point is 00:46:15 god who's the best person bar me oh no I know you're gonna say that you style Yeah, oh god A few times Anymore so she doesn't need styling I am starting to go to events. Okay, because otherwise I don't get work Well, obviously Cara and Kelsey would be up at like the number one spots, because to be honest, it's really nice to have people that are really down to earth and normal and make your life really easy on a shoot, so, and these two do.
Starting point is 00:46:56 Oh, I don't know. You've done some call people. I have done call people. Do call people and do like them the most famous. I've done James Corden before. Oh. Oh. Oh, I did Harry Potter. That's it, that's the one I was talking about.
Starting point is 00:47:09 Daniel Radcliffe, years ago. Did you? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was the one actually that the kids, because obviously the kids, they're just kind of grasping what I do, but not really, they're not really that bothered. And I was telling Kara once on our pod that,
Starting point is 00:47:22 Hugo, parents were allowed to come in and talk about it Who what their jobs are and there was like people that went in and they had like uniforms that they could try on it Was all really really cool. And I was like, oh do you want mommy to come in? They were like, no, we're gonna do that. Just bring in that clothes and I was like, I was so embarrassed thinking really? I was like, oh well, well, do you know that mommy starred Harry Potter once? She just pulled it out like, well, well, actually Mummy, Mummy, don't tell your friends that at school. Yeah, they were like, what?
Starting point is 00:47:50 The Harry Potter. I was like, yeah, look, look, look at the picture. I mean, it was Daniel Radcliffe and he wasn't dressed as Harry Potter, but I was like, that is the man that was the actor? I tried to explain it to these children. I mean, it was quite a few years ago. So like, Hugo's six. He must have been about four. But yeah he was lovely really nice I suppose that would be my biggest one. I did style Lady Gaga but
Starting point is 00:48:12 I must say that I actually sent the clothes to her so I haven't actually met her. Take it don't take the paint don't play it down. I know. Did she wear what you sent? Yeah. See that's really cool. Yeah but that was years ago years years ago Why you underplay? I don't know. I was feeling a bit weird Thank you. I'm still claiming that I was in Harry Potter and I mean, we were just an extra That's amazing. Yeah, the prisoner of Azkaban. You can see me I've still never seen her in it camera pans in goes through the hole and then you can see me sat there. I'm like What house was you in?
Starting point is 00:48:47 I was in Hufflepuff. We actually won the Quidditch those that have read the books. That is so cool. We won the Quidditch in the Prisoner of Azkaban. Talking of Quidditch, I just got the new Quidditch Harry Potter game. It's alright. Go on, carry on. I went on the moving staircase and I had a wonderful time filming it, but we all know that I was just an extra, but. Yeah, but still, to say that you were there. I know, you know what, I'm so happy now that I did that. It's literally my claim to fame.
Starting point is 00:49:12 Fred thinks he's really cool. That's why Cara loves me, because I was in Harry Potter. Yeah. Oh, that's the only reason. That's it. The only reason. I'm just gonna make my kid a star. Gonna make you a star.
Starting point is 00:49:23 I'm gonna make them a star. Right girls, tell me more about the podcast. Okay, so it's actually grown as baby. So I'll let her just explain where the idea come from and how we got together. So basically I was sat on the floor in Hugo's bedroom during deep down lockdown. And I realized that I wasn't really looking
Starting point is 00:49:43 at celebrity stuff anymore to go for like style inspiration because obviously my background is like celebrity magazines and it used to always be like oh what celebrities wearing and you know the trends and all of that and then I realized that my life had changed so much that what I was more interested in was what other mums were wearing and their lives and I realized that everyone was like I was following were pretty much mums and I thought okay, well maybe this would be a nice place because we don't always have time to just be scrolling and you don't really always want to be on your phone like that. And I was finding things
Starting point is 00:50:13 like podcasts really interesting and helping me get through the time where I was all on my own with the kids, Ben was out of work. That's where the idea came from and I just thought it would be a really nice place for everyone that we like, the moms that I was following to come together and a podcast that you could listen to rather than having to look at your phone. And it was just gonna be like a real fun, friendly place for real moms who are, you know,
Starting point is 00:50:38 when you're on the school run and if you had a party to go to that Saturday night, you're like, oh God, I don't know what to wear. What should I wear? It's like a little WhatsApp group, I suppose. Yeah. I like asking everyone sort of like, oh god, I don't know what to wear. What should I wear? Like a little WhatsApp group, I suppose. Yeah. I'm not asking everyone, sort of like, oh, what should we wear? Yeah. So it's just like a really nice little community that I wanted to create so that
Starting point is 00:50:52 it was something that you could talk about fashion in a friendly way. Because sometimes it can be, fashion can be a little bit like scary. Scary. Yeah. And oh, am I wearing the right thing? And that's when you said, oh, what should you be wearing on school run? It's not like that at all. We're not telling anyone what they should be wearing. We're just having a little chat about it and making it in a fun way.
Starting point is 00:51:11 And that's where Kara comes in. So why did you pick Kara? Because she's really lovely and fun and down to earth. And I've styled her quite a few times and yeah. And we live near each other so it's quite good for that. Not that we ever see each other. We haven't seen each other We do it remotely. We're not like you you've got nice posh studio and you know cuz I'm so posh Yeah, well, we're really committed and we um, you know, we're working from like the bottom up
Starting point is 00:51:39 So when we get more listeners when we get your lovely listeners to come over to us We both come out on a Monday, don't we? So you can listen to one of us on the school run and then one of us on the school run back. So that's fine. Yeah, fantastic. And then, oh my God, when this episode comes out, you can listen to us in the morning and in the afternoon.
Starting point is 00:51:56 Oh my God. Oh, double worry. But no, it's a really fun podcast. It's just like, we just, I just mind about my kids all the time. I give bone anxiety because I say things, she's like we shouldn't say that we're gonna get cancelled and So yeah, if you just want to laugh Yes, we we quite similar in certain ways and very different in other ways
Starting point is 00:52:17 I'm the goody goody and car is not so yeah, you get a mix but then you both have anxiety about different Yeah, so it works well, but yeah, we're at the of both. But then look, you both have anxiety about different things as well. Yeah, I know. So it works well. But yeah, we're at the school van, Mike. Word anxiety and social anxiety. I feel like right now we are with the inside out people. You know, like how we're all sitting. Look, these are all little things.
Starting point is 00:52:35 Yeah, yeah, we are. We say that all the time. We're like the little inside out people. But look, we actually are. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This is the ball. I think anyone that can't see us is because we sat in the little board There's about ten cams in here don't worry
