Georgia Jones.
And I'm Kelsey Parkoff.
And here we have an episode in store for you today.
Georgia gives us all the lowdown about her time away.
In her words, at a cabin in the woods.
I mean, it sounds a little bit frightening.
That sounds doggy, doesn't it?
I can't actually believe I didn't do it.
But it got to the point, and I was like,
I need to be in silence.
I need no one to need me.
I need just nothing to do other than like
being my feels. Kelsey's back from Dubai looking glowy as ever. And we go through our plans for
2025. Oh that was a really weird way to say it. I would say 2025. 2025! But don't you, I was like reading stuff about how old your kids are gonna be in like
the year of when they start secondary school
and it's like so frightening.
That's what I mean even saying,
we're in 2025.
2025.
I just don't, it just seems to,
it seems like a futuristic day.
Doesn't seem real, does it?
It doesn't seem real. Anyway it? It doesn't seem real.
Anyway, so grab a cuppa.
Get comfy.
And let's jump into this brand new episode
of Mums the Word.
So Christmas, New Year, I just said Happy New Year to you.
What date are we recording this?
The 14th of January and our producer, Dom,
told us that he's not saying it anymore.
He ain't saying it to us.
He ain't saying it anymore. What's your cutoff date?
For saying it. I don't really say it to anyone anyway. Oh you don't? Bitch.
Happy New Year. Happy New Year and all that. It's just like I don't know. I don't know how I feel about the happy new year.
It's just you know. That's how I've been greeting everybody. You think people when I say it are like oh god.
Yeah, oh look at her trying to be really positive.
Happy new year guys.
I am, I'm going into this year really positive.
Yeah, she was quite negative by the end of last year.
By the end of last year, I was on my knees.
You were straining me.
I was, I was literally an energy sap, complete energy sap.
Oh, who invited the Debbie Dowdons to do this podcast?
Every time I saw Kel, she was like, what now?
What are you gonna cry about?
Yeah, oh, she's crying again.
I might cry with happiness in this episode.
Like, ha ha ha.
Woo hoo!
Woo hoo, new year, new me.
How was Christmas?
Yeah, it was full on,
because obviously I'd gone from solo parenting for a month
and moving house by myself to going out to Australia.
Being in the jungle.
Being in the jungle, having jet lag,
whilst also still pretty much solo parenting
for those three weeks.
Coming back, family arrived,
well, Danny's mum flew back with us in straight two hours.
Danny's family arrived two days later
with two kids in tow.
And then my family arrived on Christmas Eve.
So we just didn't have any like,
no.
Do you have a really big house now?
Massive, no, no, not really.
Just got, do you know what we've got?
A decent garden.
I know, I want more stories on your garden, please.
On Instagram.
Oh, do you?
Yeah, but like I need to see it.
I need to know it.
Okay, I mean, Danny took a chainsaw to it
and absolutely massacred it. I'm not surprised. No I'm not surprised. What is wrong with him?
I don't know. He acts on impulse and his mum didn't help because she edged him on and I was...
What just went yeah go out. She went oh I'll help I'll do it too. I got up for a shower came back down
there's nothing left. I don't know if you know, but Will actually has a company
that he could have come around because he is a tree lover
and he's a tree surgeon.
He's a tree surgeon, oh my God, do you know,
I've got quite a few trees in my garden now.
Do you know how many people say that to me as well
when I'm like, oh yeah, his own company's a tree surgeon.
They're like, will you come to mine?
I've got a few trees.
I've got a few trees. I've got a few trees.
This is the first time since living in London,
I've had a tree in a garden.
Yeah, you didn't have it in your house.
No, we just had AstroTurf and a little studio.
So is Danny actually gonna go out and cut the grass
or are you gonna get a gardener?
Right, can I just say something?
So now we've got all this lovely lawn with grass.
I mean, to be fair, it's a bit mossy, but I don't care.
I can go out there and you're like this.
I'll go out there and earth myself.
Yeah.
When in doubt, earth it out.
Yeah.
Oh, I like it.
That's my motto for 2025.
Maybe that's how I'll greet everyone now.
Like, hey, oh no, not having you.
When in doubt, earth it out.
Danny, the other day, when I was thinking,
maybe we should just AstroTurf it all.
What? Yes. I was like absolutely not.
Because he doesn't want to go out and cut the grass.
Wow. I mean, see, I think he was excited about doing that, so I don't quite know what.
Because he is on that spectrum of everything is extreme and when he's doing something,
it's going to be to the extreme. But if you want him to do that weekly,
you need a gardener because he's not going to do it.
Because I was married to Tom Parker and it was like,
oh, can you go and cut the grass? Can you do this? No, no.
And then it'd be like, Kelsey, I'm gonna go out and I'm gonna jet wash.
And I mean, when he'd jet wash, he would be out there for six days, jet washing everything.
I'm like, as if you're not bored of that, but it was like that.
They have that thing where they just get fixated.
It's like, I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it.
And then like everything's immaculate and looks amazing,
but he couldn't, he could never sustain anything.
No, same with Danny.
So that's why I've always had a gardener.
Oh, well I did get a gardener to come in
and give it a once over.
And he jet washed and And then Danny was devastated
because he wanted to jet wash.
I was like, when are you gonna find the time
to jet wash between now and, you know.
But Danny wouldn't probably do it
at a really awkward time as well.
Because that was Tom.
Yeah, he'd do it when we were starting to get dark
and then he wouldn't do a proper job.
But anyway, so yeah, we went into Christmas,
yeah, exhausted.
Hence why I took myself off to a cabin in the woods.
But tell me about your Christmas first.
How was it?
Her Christmas was great.
Good little build up to Christmas as well.
Was Will with you?
Yeah, we did Lapland UK.
Oh yeah, how was it?
It was amazing.
It's good, isn't it?
It's so good.
The kids loved it and they really felt like
they'd met the real love.
I mean, it like that Father Christmas is banging, isn't it?
And it was just the experience.
Tom's mum and dad came to that as well, so that was lovely.
I just went with both sets of grandparents, so that was really, really nice.
And then we have a lot of birthdays as well over the Christmas period.
So my brother Max turned 18.
Did he? Oh, a big one. Yeah. So my brother Max turned 18.
Did he?
Oh, a big one.
Yeah, so we went to the races.
We went horse racing.
That was really nice.
And then my cousin Reese turned 21.
So we had big birthdays this year.
Oh, God, you did.
And then, guys, I know that I have been so horrible
about my brothers.
Were they nice to you?
Bobby got me a Tiffany necklace.
Oh, bless him.
With A and B on it.
Oh.
And my mom's like,
do you know how much he spent on you?
I think it's actually like worked.
Oh, what?
The podcast of putting.
The podcast of just saying that they weren't gonna get
anything and they've been really bad this year.
But Max didn't actually put in his deal at the age where he's
like, no, but Bobby.
Oh, well done, Bobby, if you're listening.
Apart from, so mum woke up Christmas morning at home, at hers. Normally she stays at mine,
but she was like, I've got to do cooking and whatever. So it was just me, Will and the
kids. So we've woken up and then she's FaceTimed me and she obviously thought that I knew about
this present. So she's FaceTimed and she's like oh look what I've got she got a sage coffee machine so do you know like the really
nice coffee machine where you can choose the milk from my brothers so Bobby has planned
this this coffee machine to buy this coffee machine for my mum yeah but the other two
have put it in bearing in mind my older brother he's just he wouldn't be bothered do you know
what I mean he would be like like, oh, get Kelsey involved.
So they've literally didn't...
Without you?
Yes.
Oh, I've just clocked what you mean there.
So they didn't involve me, so I went absolutely mental.
I'm not surprised.
The boys must be like, I can't actually win with my sister.
Last year, I had to go home because they didn't buy my mom anything.
This year, I've had to go home because they bought my mom something
but didn't involve me.
Didn't involve you in the present?
I was like, no, you've made me. Didn't involve you in the present.
I was like, no, you've made me look really bad
because we did Secret Santa.
Oh no.
So I was like, I now look really bad.
Because how much was your Secret Santa?
50 quid?
No, we did 100 pounds.
Oh, okay, yeah.
I'm not doing it next year.
I'm not doing Secret Santa next year.
Why?
I just hate, I like buying people presents.
I like to buy one person a present.
I was like, I hate this.
Who was it?
It was my cousin, Reese. Oh, so it's not even like you, I mean, I'm sure you're close to your cousin, but it's not like That's why one person present. I was like, I hate this. Who was it? It was my cousin, Reese.
Oh, so it's not even like you,
I mean, I'm sure you're close to your cousin,
but it's not like it's your mom or your-
Yeah, and then I got him a golf bag.
I've been thought weird, but not-
I hated it.
And then my brother,
so the boys didn't do the secret Santa
and they then got my mom this sage coffee machine.
So I looked terrible.
My mom was like,
oh my God, why did I FaceTime Kelsey?
I literally was like, no. No. And then, and then so he had this whole idea that he'd got me
the necklace and he was going to make out that he'd got me nothing and then tease me
the whole day. And then my mom went to Bobby. I think what the best thing to do is when
you turn up at a house is just give her the present straight away. Just give her the present. No joking.
And then it did win me over.
Oh well there you go.
So I was a bit like, but it's just again, men.
But they don't think.
They don't think.
They don't think.
We are being a bit he-man-haters but.
Yeah, aren't we always.
But they don't understand the problem even when we explain it to them.
No, I think they were like, god that's an overreaction from my sister.
But it was like, well,
now you've actually made me look bad.
Oh yeah, but yeah.
You've all put in apart from me.
Yeah, it's not fair that.
How dare they?
But other than that, Christmas was fantastic.
The kids absolutely loved it.
Did they?
Yeah, we had such a great time.
Will's family came over Boxing Day, so.
Oh, did they?
Yeah.
And it was, was it nice, a nice atmosphere?
Yeah, it was lovely.
Oh. It was lovely
So No, New Year's Eve. We all still together then New Year's Eve
I didn't actually go out and do anything because we the day before so my cousin's born on New Year's Eve
Oh
And I don't know if it's a good birthday bad birthday, but obviously where he's 21
He wanted everyone to come to his party.
So we did that the night before, which worked out lovely.
Oh, and then you just had a chilled one.
Chilled on, I was like asleep at nine o'clock.
I probably would have been,
if it would have had an empty house,
but we didn't have an empty house.
Did you not just stay in?
We stayed in, but we like had a nice dinner and just,
yeah, we did a fake one for the kids so
they went to bed first and then we had dinner and just it was chill but it was
you know we did do something you had to stay up yeah last year I'm pretty sure
I didn't make it past about 10 o'clock no I was like I think what do we do we
had four heaters and then I was like kids you can go to bed and obviously then
we had we knew Dubai was coming as well so so tell us about Dubai no I want to talk
about you first okay what do you want to know I want to know all about this cabin in the woods
well I said I was gonna do it Kels didn't I I didn't believe that you'd actually do it
I did it but when I saw you on Instagram I was like she's gone and done it
she's there I know I can't honestly I can't actually believe I did do it,
but it got to the point and I was like,
I need to be in silence.
I need no one to need me.
I need no responsibilities.
I need quiet.
I need just nothing to do other than like being my feels.
I just needed it.
So when did you go?
So I went on the third.
I came back on the,
well actually I didn't come straight back
because then I went off to my mom and dad's to see them
because I didn't see them much over Christmas
only for a couple of days and I missed them.
So I went back to theirs.
Yeah, so this cabin in the woods,
it was this company called Unyoked
and it's not the most extreme one.
So there are some you can do where I think you've got,
you're meant to like lock all your,
like your phone, anything like that away in a box,
and you've got nothing.
And I was like, I need my phone, I'm on my own.
You'd be scared.
Oh, I was scared.
So I got there.
Was you actually scared on your own?
Oh yeah, I was, I was.
And mine was, so the cabins were like levels of,
it was called Spice.
So mine was M the cabins were like levels of the it's called spice So mine was mild spice which basically meant it wasn't like
Two in the middle of nowhere. Did you find this? How did you find?
Follow them on Instagram and they've actually they actually contacted me like years ago
I never did it said you look like the sort of person these guys
Never scream in the woods. I was like, yes.
But it was funny because I got, so basically I got there
and I was like reading my instructions
and it was like, go and chop the wood for kindling
to light your fire.
I was like, oh my God, I've got to chop wood.
I was like, oh, I normally have someone here to help me.
Like, Danny would do that job, right?
So then it's starting to get dark
and I was scared being outside
when it was starting to get dark because it was scared being outside when it was starting to get dark
because it was in the middle of nowhere.
Yeah, and it gets dark.
Oh, and it's dark.
It's not like...
It's dark.
Yeah, there's no light pollution wherever I was.
And then just out there chopping my wood.
Oh, brilliant.
Why don't you just film the whole thing?
I filmed quite a bit of it.
Did you say film?
Yeah.
Yeah, I did film quite a bit.
I filmed myself.
Well, what did you think I said? I don't know. I did film myself. Did you say film? I filmed it. Did you say film? Yeah. Yeah, I did film quite a bit. I filmed myself. What did you think I said?
I don't know, I did film myself.
Did you say film?
I filmed it.
Did you say film?
I was just checking that's what you said.
You're gonna blame this on the jet lag again, dog.
It's jet lag, jet lag, I've still got it.
And no, it's Christmas lag.
Nah, and I was just really proud of myself
and I got like, when it started to get dark,
I lit my fire and I did it.
Well done.
I was, cause I think to myself,
oh my God, if I don't light this fire,
it's gonna be bloody free. It was icy cold in that cabin. As soon as you lit the
fire it was like a sauna. It was like an actual sauna. I couldn't believe it. So I just lit
my fire, made myself some tea, had a glass of red wine. What did you make yourself to
eat? I made, what did I have for the first? I'm worried about the food. What did I have
for the first night? Oh cheese, I think I had cheeses.
I took like cheese, all like my Christmas cheese.
Yeah, Christmas cheeses.
Yeah, and crackers and wine.
And I was just like, I just had a really nice time.
And I downloaded a Netflix series.
So I was just watching that and I took a book.
It was just lovely.
Oh, George.
And I was scared initially.
And it's so funny that...
Was Danny worried about you?
No, he was like, I'll just get on with it. My mum was, oh mum didn't sleep the entire time I was there
She nearly had a nervous breakdown I think. She was so concerned. Really? She thought I was gonna get murdered in the woods
Yeah, that was that was my mum's main fear. You're like no, these places are the non-murder of places
These are non-murder. If I did get murdered though,
no one would have heard me scream.
Oh God.
But no, and it was so interesting
because when I posted about it,
it must have been over a hundred people messaged saying,
I want to do this.
Oh my God, I've been wanting to do this for ages.
I think, I mean, obviously it's quite scary
for a woman on your own, isn't it?
But I think a lot of us are just so scared of it.
We don't ever do it.
And I was, like, I was so scared of it.
But I think I just got to the point where I was like,
it's now or never.
And anyone that's thinking about it, just do it.
It's one of the best things I've ever done, I think.
I say feel the fear and do it anyway.
Yeah, I did. I very much felt felt the fear and even on the second night
I was still scared when it got dark, but what did you do during the day the next day?
I sat and like potted and
like
Read read my book. So you didn't actually leave the cabin?
I don't yeah well I mean I went I literally went and sat on the on the porch
On the porch with
a cup of coffee and just watched the sheep.
There were sheep.
Just stared into like the distance.
Yeah.
And it, well, the second, the third morning when I woke up, when I was leaving, I woke
up and I was like, oh my God, I've been snowed in.
The snow was so deep.
I was like, shit, what am I gonna do? And then I started like going, oh my God, what if like I'm snowed in. The snow was so deep I was like shit what am I going to do? And then I
started like going oh my god what if like I'm snowed in for like three days and I run out of
food and I've not got any firewood and I die of being... I'm sure you'd just messaged the company
and they'd come and sort you out. Plan someone helping? I do like to catastrophise but no it was amazing.

So your escape was very different to mine.
Very different.
Because you went to Dubai.
I went to a luxury escape to Dubai. You didn't have to chop your own firewood.
No, I didn't. Thank God.
So, where did you go in Dubai?
So, I went to two different hotels.
I always like to sort of break it up when I go to Dubai as well.
How long you there for?
A week.
Yeah.
Well, six days after traveling.
Hmm!
But it was lovely. My mom came.
Yeah! So, who was it? You, your mom?
Will.
Yeah!
And then the kids and then
Will's family were out there because Will's brother Lewis who wants a shout
out he lives in Dubai and they were having a baby so that's why we sort of
tied it in a holiday but then going to welcome little baby oh Hugo little boy
cute so yeah it was really lovely yeah it was just nice to just get away and to welcome little baby. Hugo. Oh Hugo, little boy, cute. Oh Hugo.
So yeah, it was really lovely.
Yeah.
It was just nice to just get away and chill.
Good, yeah.
But I mean, it's been a lot.
I've probably had the kids for like a month now.
Just me.
Just you.
Well, me and my mom and Will, but do you know what I mean?
Do you ever get like time off where you've got like a week
where like someone might take the kids for a week or never.
The only time that I've not had the kids
was when I went to Spain with Tom for three weeks
and they were babies.
I was meant to only go for a week and then I was out there
and I was like, I'm not leaving him.
So I stayed there for three weeks
and thankfully my mom had them. But I was- Was he having was out there and I was like I'm not leaving him so I stayed there for three weeks and thankfully my mum had them.
Yeah.
But I was...
Was he having treatment out there?
Yeah.
Oh so it wasn't even like it was like...
No we went to a clinic and I just...
I understood how the clinic works I was like I'm not gonna leave him and get someone else
to come out like I've learnt what he's doing out here so I'm gonna stay with him and thank
God I did because that was really mine and Tom's last time together.
Yeah, yeah.
And then other than that, obviously work trips.
Yeah, but then it's work. Do you crave it though?
Do you not crave having a bit of time off?
No, I don't think I do.
And this is the difference between me and Kelsey and it's why we work so well
because I do, Kelsey doesn't.
Yeah, no, I don't think I do. I don't think I ever...
Even like a date night, I was thinking maybe me and Mo need to go on a date night
and do something.
Have you ever, you've must have.
We have been on date nights.
But you know when I'm like, oh, it's a new year,
maybe I need to make more of an effort
and we need to go out on dates and do stuff.
Don't know, it's just hard, isn't it?
I think when you've got two kids.
Yeah, well, I mean, it is.
It does make things really difficult.
And I think with me, it's balancing the work
and my, like, me.
Yeah.
The me time.
Yeah, because you were saying that you find it difficult
because you're obviously relying on your family.
For when I'm working.
For when you're working.
So then you feel bad if you're then asking them to help
when you're-
Going, oh, I just want to go on a date night with Will.
Can you have the kids?
Yeah, you should though.
I bet they wouldn't. I should, yeah.
You should. I should. Because I bet they wouldn't bother. No, but you just feel want to go on a date night with will can you have the kid? Yeah, you should though I bet my shit you should because they wouldn't
Bother no, we just feel bad. He do bad guilt mom. Guilty
It's my soul it boils down to mom girl. Have you got any new year's resolutions?
Don't know the cows believes in this or not. No, do you know what? Um, it's a full moon
It was a full moon last night. So you've got said I looked rather round
You've got to set your intentions set Set your intentions of what you want.
Sure, should I have done it last night?
Well, it doesn't really matter. We're over like the full moon period.
So, set your intentions and manifest.
That's what I'm guessing like really, when you think of New Year's resolutions,
it's sort of like manifestation, isn't it? Which obviously I love.
And I manifest and I put out the universe.
Yeah!
And you have to ask the universe for what you want
and it will bring it to you.
But you have to be in a positive state of mind to receive.
Oh, there's my problem.
No.
That was my problem towards the end of the year.
Okay, positive mental attitude.
And it will come.
And it will come.
Okay. But really other than that,
like I do probably need to do a bit more exercise.
Are you?
Do you know what?
Right, so I said this on my Instagram the other day,
because I'm really fed up of people being made to feel bad
for wanting to kickstart their exercise in January.
Because right, I get that whole movement.
You shouldn't have,
you shouldn't feel like you have to work out
because you've indulged over Christmas.
But when I say I've indulged,
over Christmas, I act like I don't normally eat.
So all that I'm really doing is going back
to my healthier way of life,
which isn't that healthy, but you know,
I like to move my body.
I like to feel strong.
I like to feel toned.
Like, I didn't like the fact that my clothes
were starting to feel tight.
I don't like it.
No, no, no, no.
And you don't have to like it.
You can be, you know, positive about your body,
or you can be, I would say I'm probably just neutral.
I'm just like, yeah, it's my vessel.
Thank you.
But I do quite want to turn you up.
And I would like a little bit less cellulite on my ass,
but you know, beggars can't be choosers, cows.
Yeah, and also I do think with the cellulite thing, George,
that is one of them.
I'm not saying that.
You've either got it or you haven't.
Yeah.
Yeah, it is, it's luck.
And I think you can literally be the thinnest person
in the world and still have cellulite.
Because mine is, I hate my cellulite on my legs.
And I think it's the worst thing.
But I think even if I was like a size six, because obviously I'm an eight now.
No, if I was like a size, like really, really small.
And I've got this really, have I said this before?
I've got a really horrible dimple on the side of my leg.
Which looks really bad and looks like cellulite. And I've got this really, have I said this before? I've got a really horrible dimple on the side of my leg.
Which looks really bad and looks like cellulite.
But I walked into a table when I was younger
and my muscles broken on my leg.
I bet that's scar tissue though.
Yeah it is scar tissue.
Yeah but it's like all like.
I can't do anything about it.
No.
Unless I've got filler in it.
Ha ha ha ha.
Where's Kel's today?
She just comes to the podcast, she just got some filler in her dimple.
But I feel like we're not allowed to dislike things about our body anymore.
It's almost become frowned upon to be like, I don't like my cellulite.
I think people are deluded if they think that they don't hate their bodies.
I'm grateful for my body and what it does to me,
but that doesn't mean I don't look in the mirror
and go, oh my God.
Yeah, I could do with.
Oh no, I tell you a classic Aurelia line.
Oh, this is absolutely brilliant.
What did she say?
So, what was it?
The day after boxing day, we went,
I thought I've just got to get out of the house
and I've got to go and walk and do whatever.
And obviously I've said something at home,
not realizing that she's like, listened to what I've said to go and walk and do whatever. And obviously I've said something at home, not realizing that she's like listened to what I've said.
So we're walking into like our little town village,
whatever you want to call it.
And we bump into one of my friends, Katie,
and she was like, oh, what are you doing?
Aurelia went, we've had to get out of the house.
She went, cause my mum's a fat mess.
That's weird.
But obviously I've turned around at home and been like well we've got to go out cuz I'm a
fat mess so I need to get out of the house
oh Kels you don't realise how much the distance we've gone
no I know and I was just like oh my god she just makes me laugh so much
yeah I've got to get out of the house my mum's a fat mess
what did your friend do? did she laugh or was she cool? She knows what a radio's like!
It's like, oh, here she goes.
That is absolutely brilliant.
But yeah, listen, we can feel like fat messes at times.
That's okay.
But I think as well that, my mom,
my mom looks amazing. She trains,
she goes to the gym every day at 6 o'clock.
6am?
6am.
And she's, I suppose, I just feel so much better.
Oh, I do.
She's back, she's come off holiday,
and she'll now diet, even though I don't even know
why she needs to diet, but again,
it's her own feeling of what she wants to feel like.
She said, I probably have got issues,
but I like to look a certain way and be a certain way
and work out at 6 a.m. every day.
And it makes her feel good about herself.
Yeah, she loves it.
Yeah, well I'm like.
I don't have that, maybe I'll just be more than that.
No, you look cracking.
But that's it, like I wanna get back in the gym,
I'm back to running, I'm back to not drinking
pretty much every single day of the week over Christmas.
Like I was saying.
Who's she trying to kid? Who's she trying to kid?
Who's she trying to kid?
Definitely haven't stopped yet.
No, I'm joking.
I'm trying to rein it in.
So happy, getting such a bad habit of like,
oh, should we just crack up?
Should we just have a glass?
Should we just have a glass of wine?
Just a glass.
Just a glass.
So yeah, I'm trying to just,
and I've been taking my little simp-proof shots
every morning.
Getting my gut healthy.
Because like you eat so much sugar
and just fat like fatty foods or crisp cheese,
like they're fine in moderation.
Oh me too.
And it's all good in moderation,
but like I was not doing anything in moderation.
At all.
Oh, I just, I went to town.
I went, I don't care.
Just do it.
I do not care.
I think it was good going to Dubai as well
because it sort of put me onto a path
because you just, when you're on holiday,
like, and I think because we didn't go,
we did an all inclusive for like the last three days.
Yeah.
I tried to make better choices.
Did you?
I did.
See, I can't make good choices when I'm on holiday.
However, I'm one of those very strange individuals
that quite likes to do a workout on holiday.
Oh yeah, yeah.
Oh, do you?
Diane did.
I went to- Oh, did she?
I didn't go to the gym.
I went swimming.
Swimming?
I'm not very good swimmer, so I couldn't do that.
Yeah, I went swimming.
I could do, I reckon I can do a length.
That's about it.
Really? Without stopping. Yeah, and then have. I reckon I can do a length. That's about it. Really?
Without stopping it.
Yeah, and then have to stop.
Yeah.
So I'm really good friends with Becky Adleton.
And I remember- Are you actually?
I'm really good friends with her.
Oh, she loves her name drop.
No, I do love Becky.
I honestly love her so much.
I think she's probably, I'm gonna put it out there.
She's probably one of the nicest human beings that I know.
Is she?
Oh yeah, she came to mine and Tom's wedding and everything.
Tom did the jump with her. Oh, right. But I messaged Becky she? Oh yeah, she came to mine and Tom's wedding and everything. Did she? Tom did the jump with her but.
Oh, right, I see.
But I messaged Becky once and was like,
right, so Becky, I'm gonna swim, gonna start swimming.
Any advice for me?
She went, yeah, keep it to under 100 limbs.
Becky.
What?
Sorry, I had to write, first of all, that's obviously.
Yeah, but obviously, like, she's like, don't go extreme.
Like, she probably just can go in the pool
and smash out 100
She thinks 100 lengths isn't extreme
So I'd be lucky if I could probably do about 25 lengths in the pool. Could you do 25 lengths? Yeah, I do enjoy swimming
I just can't swim. I go to Virgin and they take it so seriously
Do you have a swimming pool? Yeah, I don't go in it.
Mate, they do like a full on swim club
and like people take it so extreme.
No thanks, not for me.
So yeah, that was my bit of advice from Becky Antin.
Keep it under 100.
So anyone that's going into swimming,
getting into swimming, just keep it under 100 then.
Becky said just rein it in, you know, 80 to 100.
Kelsey's just here with all the advice in this episode.
Really feeling you, oh my God, you could start.
Kelsey's our agony aunt of the show.
I'm the depressive, Kelsey's the agony aunt, great.
What a great show.
So I would say that's us for our first episode back
for 2025, we're back, guys.
We're back with a bang.
Oh my God, we've got such a good guest coming up soon.
Me and Kelsey, like, when's this episode going out?
Yeah, I'm just so excited.
I feel like-
Me too.
Like, you-
Actually-
I just fangirled the whole time.
Yeah, Kelsey fangirled the entire time.
I really held it down for us
because Kelsey was just flapping over the corner.
No, she wasn't, she wasn't. I was just so excited. She was very excited. So we can't wait for
you to hear that and we've got some great guests coming up this year. And a
lot more of me and Georgia together. And a lot more of me and Kelsey because apparently that's what you guys like.
The double act that is get lost on it. Kelsey and George. Yeah that is. Get lost, Ant and Dec, it's Kelsey and George.
Yeah, that is it.
That's it.
So that's a wrap on another episode.
We spoke about Georgia and her time in the cabin in the woods.
Please can you not do it so sinister?
And we spoke about our plans.
And I'm just happy she made it back in one piece.
I am too. I'm so happy I made it back to make plans for 2025
because it was touch and go.
