Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, Mike here. And guess what? This week only all of my bestselling fitness books are on sale for just 99 cents. Yes, that is less than a McDonald's coffee for bigger, leaner, stronger, thinner, leaner, stronger, the shredded chef, the little black book of workout motivation, my workout journals for men and women all are just 99 cents for the next couple of days. The sale ends this weekend and to get in on it, all you got to do is go to really anywhere online you can buy books. So the Kindle books on Amazon are 99 cents. The books on Google plays store, 99 cents, iTunes, 99 cents, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, 99 cents. And if you don't do any of those ecosystems, if you'd rather just have a PDF or an EPUB, head over to legionathletics.com,
Starting point is 00:00:54 go to the store, and the PDF and EPUB digital versions of the books are on sale for 99 cents in the store as well. So the bottom line here is if you've been liking my podcasts and if you've also read some of my articles and like those or watch some of my videos and like those, and if you are ready to take your fitness and health to the next level, picking up my books and starting one of my programs is the next step and 99 cents. That's it. No catch. Truly just 99 cents for any of my bestselling books. Kimasabi, it is shindy time. Why? What are we celebrating? No, I didn't get a llama that was bred on the moon. Who said anything about a llama? Great. Now I'm worried that we
Starting point is 00:01:45 have started our little yak on the wrong foot because we're both disappointed there will be no llamas. But there is glad tidings to like, love, and rub all over yourself, including Stacked 2.0 is alive. Now the story here is I have a workout app called Stacked, and it started as a passion project years ago to just create something I'd actually want to use over my go-to, which has been a Google spreadsheet. And the first two companies I hired to build this app turned out to be 20-ton turd salads, as POTUS would say, total losers can't win. Now, despite this, I carried on and got the app launched and many people liked it and encouraged me to continue working on it. And so I did. And now here we are. So thanks to new developers who are not sacks of twice crapped crap, as well as a ninja
Starting point is 00:02:48 project manager who is also good at taking pictures that would make Marilyn Manson blush. Go check them out on Instagram if you want to see what I'm talking about at Mario Kroes, K-R-O-E-S. A brand new and vastly improved version of Stacked is now live on the Apple App Store. And if you want to get to it easily, you can just go to getstackedapp.com. And then there's a little link there to take you to the App Store, or you can go to the App Store and search for Stacked. But I think there are some other apps now with more or less the same name, but mine is just called Stacked and it is a workout tracker. So you can find it that way too. Now what's great about this is this is not just a new build. I mean,
Starting point is 00:03:31 technically it's a new build, but it really is a whole new app. And the update is more than just cosmetic. We definitely made it sexier, but we have also retooled very important aspects of the user experience. So for example, you can now change your workouts on the fly by adding or removing exercises and sets. You can seamlessly quit and then resume workouts later without any data loss. All that data is backed up for free in the cloud. Another major move is Stacked is now 100% free with no restrictions or hidden fees. And it's going to stay like that for good. Previously, it was restricted to like 20 workouts tracked, and then you paid $5 one time to unlock
Starting point is 00:04:12 the full functionality forever. And I don't really care to make money directly off of the app. So I figured why not just make it free? And I like that from a marketing perspective too, because now you have an app that is functionally right up there with any of the best paid options and aesthetically up there with any of the best paid options, but it's free and it will remain free forever. I just want to get as many people using this thing as possible because then I can tell them about my other things. I can tell them about this podcast. I can tell them about my articles at legionathletics.com. I can tell them about my books and supplements and so forth. So free just makes sense. And if you have tried stacked in the past and you didn't like it, I would be very curious to hear your thoughts about stacked 2.0. Again, this was a nose hole
Starting point is 00:05:00 to butthole overhaul. It's a very different experience. So you might want to give it another go. See what you think and let me know. So again, that URL is getstackedapp.com. And before I get inundated with emails asking, just so you know, Android development is starting this month or next month. I'm thinking this month though, and it will take a bit. They're projecting six-ish months to build the app for Android because it's a pretty complex app. There's a lot of work that goes into it, but I'm going to do it. We will get there. So I'll keep everybody posted on that. All right. Another bit of nice newsy know-how is I'm going to be at the Arnold Classic. So if you want to meet me and if you want to press my calloused
Starting point is 00:05:45 flesh and hear me say a few dumb words, and I don't know, maybe we can have a pants off dance off, then you got to come to this year's Arnold Sport Festival, because again, I'm going to be there and Legion is going to be there. We're going to have a booth. So here's the dope. This thing is going to be in the Greater Columbus Convention Center. That's Ohio on March 5th through the 8th. That's the whole festival. Legion though, we're going to have a booth at the Fitness Expo, which starts on March 6th. So that's 678. And we're going to be in booth 1748. And I will be there at the booth Friday, March 6th from 93030 to 5.30, maybe with some pee pee breaks and more or less the same for Saturday. I do have an event tentatively planned with the Mind Pump Boys
Starting point is 00:06:33 somewhere else. It's not going to be at the booth. Now they're going to be coming by the booth, which is going to be fun. And we don't know exactly when that's going to be either, but we're thinking Friday, they're going to come by the Legion booth sometime. And then Saturday, I'm going to be joining them at a live event they're doing for a couple hours, probably around lunchtime, but then I'll be back at the Legion booth. And then I'll be at the Legion booth on Sunday from 10 to four. And I'll be joined all weekend by friends and athletes, including Emily Duncan, Chris Barakat, Chanel, Colette, Will Kemp, Lauren Dannenmiller, Patrick McInnes, Sue Bush, and more. A few of the guys who work with me directly here in the office as well, like Miles, he's going to be there. And as I mentioned, a few of my favorite hooligans
Starting point is 00:07:15 are going to be stopping by, Sal, Adam, Justin, and Doug from Mind Pump. More details to come on that. Now at the booth, we're going to be sampling some of our favorite and most popular flavors of Whey Plus, Thrive, Pulse, Casein Plus, and Recharge. So basically, it's going to be a good time. It's going to be a hell of a hoot, nanny. And I think you should come and make it more fun, make it rowdier. And oh, if you'd also like me to sign a book or five, just bring them. I'll be happy to mar your belongings with my helter skelter scribbling. All right, moving on, moving on to the next exciting announcement. Soon over at Legion, you will be able to subscribe and save. Now let me ask you a question. Which do you prefer? Better late than never or better never
Starting point is 00:07:59 than late? Oh, really? So the early bird gets the worm, you say? Well, yeah, maybe, but the second mouse gets the cheese, Chuckles. Think about that. Anyway, my point here is, yes, I should have rolled this out some time ago, years ago, really, but unfortunately, building a business is, and this is me gesturing chaotically, and sometimes I make mistakes that I love to look back on and just go, wow, dumb. And this is one of them. But hey, them's the breaks, right? And soon, I should probably add a little trademark to that. Soon, you will be able to subscribe and save on any of my pills and powders.
Starting point is 00:08:43 And you will be able to receive them every 30, 60, or 90 days, and you will save 10% on every order. That's how it's going to work. And so that's cool. That means no running out of your precious Legion pills and powders, no rigmarole of reordering, no out of stock notices, and some more scratch in your pocket. So basically you'll be able to just set this thing and forget it, save money, and then cancel any time. It's going to be a banger. It's going to be a hot hit. Well, I could keep going. There are a couple other juicy things in the works, but I'm going to save those for the next update because I got to go do other stuff because life is irritating. Stay frosty. quick review for the podcast on iTunes or wherever you are listening from, because those reviews not
Starting point is 00:09:47 only convince people that they should check out the show, they also increase the search visibility and help more people find their way to me and to the podcast and learn how to build their best body ever as well. And of course, if you want to be notified when the next episode goes live, then simply subscribe to the podcast and whatever app you're using to listen, and you will not miss out on any of the new stuff that I have coming. And last, if you didn't like something about the show, then definitely shoot me an email at mike at muscleforlife.com and share your thoughts. Let me know how you think I could do this better. I read every email myself and I'm always looking for constructive feedback. All right. Thanks again for listening to this episode and I hope
Starting point is 00:10:37 to hear from you soon.
