Hey My Mom's Basement listeners, you can find our episodes on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube, and Prime members can listen ad-free on Amazon Music.
It's a really fun interview. If you saw the title, it is with Stipe Miocic, the UFC heavyweight who challenges my guy Daniel Cormier for his UFC heavyweight championship this upcoming Saturday at UFC 241 in California.
Since it is a bit on the shorter side, I figured I'll throw a
mailbag onto the second half of this episode. So right after we get into this interview, I'll start
answering questions. As always, if you haven't subscribed already, please go do that. Give us a
rating and review on iTunes. If you could do that on Spotify, if you could do it wherever else,
try to do it. I'm sure it'll help us out. But without further ado, let's get into the interview and I'll see you guys on the other side. Welcome back to the show. I am here with the consensus
greatest UFC heavyweight of all time. And I am here with a man that I haven't seen in a long
time. Stipe Miocic. Welcome to the show. Hey, how you doing, brother? Good. How are you?
Just talking to the mic. Yes, into the mic. We were just talking about podcasting. That's a big
tip, talking right into the mic. But we made a video together now going on two years ago it was like
for some kind of ad deal for your fight with jds the second fight and uh it's been a while since
so how have you been man you haven't fought in a year you know what's what's new with you uh you
know uh got a new house baby yep how's. Being a dad, you love it? And honestly, it's amazing.
How old is your daughter?
She just turned one on the 25th.
Oh, wow.
Very nice.
She's an awesome baby, as every parent would say about their child.
But honestly, she was sleeping during the night within two months.
I mean, she's awesome.
That's awesome.
And like I said, you just took a year off fighting.
Your last fight was against Cormier.
Your upcoming fight is against Cormier.
And for a while, it didn't look like you were going to get this rematch.
It looked like they were going to give it to Brock Lesnar.
They even did right after that Cormier fight, the whole WWE thing in the cage.
How did you feel about that when it happened?
Because when were you aware that that had happened?
So, yeah, I heard he wasn't going to be there, I guess.
And I don't care.
But someone's like, oh, I don't think Brock's coming.
I'm like, yeah, whatever.
You're focused on your fight, yeah.
And then I'm getting ready for the final lookup, and there he was.
They show him, and they have a TV in the back room.
And I was like, oh, Brock's here.
I'm like, whatever.
So I didn't put two and two together, because hence I don't care.
Yeah.
You weren't thinking in that moment, like, if I win this fight,
they're going to try to bring him in the cage with me?
No.
I mean, I'm like.
They probably had it set up with just him and DC.
Probably.
Who knows?
Because I know they're friends, I think, whatever.
And so that all happened, and all that anarchy happened,
and I didn't get to speak.
Were you pissed off about that?
Yeah.
It was embarrassing.
It's not what the sport's about.
We're about two dudes going at it and not doing some soap opera in the cage.
Yeah.
I'll be honest.
I kind of loved it.
I'm a WWE fan.
I mean, it is what it is.
You're like one of my friends back home.
Oh my God, are you going to watch SummerSlam?
On that end, I kind of loved it.
But I didn't love the fact that it looked like Brock was going to get a title shot.
Because Brock is not a guy that deserves a title shot in 2019.
Definitely not.
So in the time that you were taking off was the ufc trying to get
you to take fights were they trying to get you to take fights before you got that rematch with dc or
did they know you were kind of dead set on that yeah so you weren't getting offered fights you
were just you were just kind of waiting it out yeah i think the answer when i said no i don't
want dc and what was your plan if they went forward with lesnar and dc just to try to get
the winner of that one?
Yeah, I mean, I wasn't thinking about that at that point.
My head was focused on getting rematched with DC.
You were never thinking like, what if this comes down to, we just saw something happen with Cyborg, right?
Where she wanted the rematch and it got a little ugly between her and Dana at the end.
You weren't thinking anything like that either?
You were just dead set on, let's get that rematch?
And what was it about
the first fight? Obviously, it's a loss, and only
your third loss in your career, but what
did you learn from the other two losses that make you go,
this next fight will be different?
You get better from each fight,
and I felt like I was winning the last fight with
DC. He just caught me with a punch.
I can think of all the stars
moving, and the sun's all lined up perfect.
And, you know, it just worked out.
Because I've been hit harder and everything.
It just happens.
You know, it's the sport.
We're small four-ounce gloves, you know.
But, you know, that'd be a lot different next fight,
I'll tell you that.
And do you feel like from losses you actually do,
people say you learn more than it was.
Oh, 100%.
You do feel that way?
Oh, yeah, no question.
Why do you think that is?
Because you know what you did wrong
and what you need to change and how to make yourself better.
Because when you win, you're like, I did everything right.
Yeah, you don't even think about that performance, right?
It's like when you play a battle royale or something.
You win a battle royale, you're like, I'm the best in the world.
And the next thing you know, you die right off the rip.
You're talking Fortnite?
Are you a Fortnite guy?
I used to be.
I'm more of a black guy.
Oh, wow.
I'm not a huge video game guy.
I didn't take you for one.
I love video games. My wife hates it i love it wow very interesting you do twitch i
have not been on send it out to the people uh steven myosic it's twitch but the problem is uh
i've not been on for a little bit because i we're selling our we were selling our house
okay so my wife made me take it all down and she's like we gotta make our house look presentable
because i had like a it was like it was like a shit show dude it was like a terrible desk with like cords
like it looked like an octopus it was everywhere it was so bad and uh it was hard it was so bad
but then uh yeah but then actually the crazy part of the new house which is what i love about it the
guy was like 65 years old he gamed get out yeah his only room. I'm like, we're getting his house for sure now.
Not because of that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And it's awesome.
So I play down there now.
But I'm going to have to actually go out to the farm and get back on it.
That's awesome.
Question for you.
You're a Cleveland guy.
Last time, you brought a title to Cleveland.
You broke the curse.
This time, are you trying to do what LeBron couldn't do and bring two titles to Cleveland?
Boom.
That's what you're trying to do?
Oh, yeah.
How do you feel about LeBron now as a Cleveland guy?
He brought a title to the city like he said he would.
So you're good with him even though he left again?
Yeah, man. Listen, it's not about what he did.
He brought a championship to the city.
You know what I'm saying? But also,
it's not about what he wants to do.
It's about for him and his family, too.
What's going to make better for him progressing in his career?
So you are a LeBron guy?
Oh, yeah. Of course. Who isn't a LeBron? He brought a title to Cleveland. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, I'm not a LeBron guy. Oh yeah, of course. Who isn't a LeBron guy?
You brought Tyler Cleveland,
you know what I'm saying?
Yeah, I'm not a LeBron guy.
I don't like that guy.
I thought he was going to come to New York here.
He didn't come to New York.
It's my area.
It's his whole thing.
Listen, I'm not a LeBron guy,
but you are Cleveland's guy.
And MGK, you see,
comes out to all your fights.
You walk out to his music and all that.
Oh, he's not. I was going to ask. Is he coming to this one? I saw him a few weeks ago. He out to his music and all that he's not in Asia this week oh he's not
I was going to ask
is he coming to this one
I saw him a few weeks ago
he's like yeah
I'm going to be in Asia
damn are you guys friends
yeah
good dude man
that's pretty awesome
yeah I mean I don't
chat every day
yeah I just don't know
the only thing we really see
from a UFC point of view
is whenever you walk out
it's to MGK
and then they'll show him
in the crowd
oh he's going bananas for you
he's honestly
he's a very loyal guy
did you happen to see The Dirt the movie he he was in, the Motley Crue movie?
I loved it.
I'm a huge Motley Crue fan and I'm a huge Tommy Lee fan specifically.
So I thought he crushed that part.
He's awesome.
Actually amazing.
Are you walking out to MGK again?
Until I die.
Hell yeah.
Nothing will change.
And this whole thing with Cormier, the back and forth with Cormier, he said a few things.
I was in Vegas for International Fight Week.
And you did that whole big press conference with Cormier. He said a few things. I was in Vegas for International Fight Week and you did that whole big press conference
with the upcoming fights. And he said a few
things dismissively about you
where he was just like, listen, he's a good
fighter. He's a good guy. It's just not going to
go the exact same way.
When he says stuff like that, are you just happy
you got this fight? You know you're going to get in the cage on August 17th.
You know you're going to win
in your mind.
Or does that piss you off when he's like dismissive
of it in that way that's fine when he's looking up at me and i'm getting my hand raised when he's
like what the hell just happened i just dropped his ass so you don't you don't really put much
uh behind like pre-fight trash talk i don't care about the trash talk you know you keep saying all
your dumb stuff it's gonna come back and bite you in the ass nobody's ever gotten your head before
fight no you think i could if you and me were going to fight? I can see right now. You're getting
weird, like, crazy.
I think if you and me
had an upcoming fight, I would just
talk you until submission.
That's what I do to my wife.
That's why my wife's like, just go play video games. Oh, hell yeah.
I'm excited
for the fight, and also, you have an amazing
co-main event on this card.
Anthony Pettis versus Nate Diaz.
Oh yeah, I keep forgetting Diaz is back.
This is one of the craziest parts of this card.
I feel like everyone's talking about the rematch,
the heavyweight championship rematch. Nate Diaz is back
on this card. Do you watch fights
when you're in the main event? Do you watch the
fights of the card?
They're right there.
I mean, there's a TV like this size
and a little bit smaller, whatever. Is it good to have
distraction almost? Yeah yeah you just see
what they're doing
sometimes you pick
something up
you don't know
you never know
but it's cool
the only thing
I don't like watching
is if a teammate
or someone I know
is fighting
like when I fought
in Boston
I fought
Volante fought
I was like freaking out
you know
like oh my god
I remember that
I was actually at that fight
as well
that fight
that first round
how did you survive Francis Ngannou what's the key because it seems that fight, that first round. How did you survive Francis Ngannou?
What's the key?
Because it seems that you're the only one that's able to survive Francis Ngannou.
So for any future opponents of his, what would you say?
Wrestle him?
Take him down?
Try him.
He's super strong.
Was that the hardest you've ever been hit by him?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, 100%.
Yeah, I mean, I've been hit hard.
I mean, honestly, everyone hits hard.
Honestly, but he hits pretty hard. I mean i at one point i i ducked like three punches
it's not gonna be a good day if that doesn't happen like i'm gonna keep my hands up and yeah
yeah he's gonna keep your head moving just don't let him get off you know i mean just don't give
him any opportunity to hit you with something that's awkward because he does have their awkward
punches yeah it's hard to train for kind of like they're they're kind of wild am i right in terms of like i guess the
technique i don't know if the technique is there or if it's just the power but dana says he hits
like a what is it the horsepower of like a ford truck for escort that's insane yeah do you think
if you got hit by a ford escort in the chin you would just eat it you could just like put your
chin and have a ford escort rolling down to my chin i bet you good ratio is pretty tough dude
you ate all Francis'
punches. I bet by science
you could just get hit by a car and have the
car hurt. We should do it on Barstool Sports.
We should get a military in New York. Let's get a Ford
Escort and let's just ram it in. I'll
drive. Oh, for sure. I'll drive.
We'll play until I die. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
As I'm hit. Yep. I'll roll
the windows down. We'll blast it, dude. I'm in.
Alright. Amazing. Steve Bay, thank you so much. I'm excited for the fight on August 17th blast it, dude. I'm in. All right, amazing.
Stipe, thank you so much.
I'm excited for the fight on August 17th.
Best of luck, best of skill to you, as Jon Kavanaugh would say.
Order the fight, of course, on ESPN+. Thanks, brother.
All right, big thanks to Stipe Miocic for coming on the show.
It's always tough when you've got two people that you really like that are about to fight.
Daniel Cormier, who's been nothing but generous with his time, nothing but generous with me in every one of our encounters or interviews or whatever.
And then Stipe Miocic, who's done the exact same thing.
Two great dudes, two great fighters.
It's going to be an awesome pay-per-view.
I can't wait.
Of course, you could get it on ESPN Plus or I was going to say wherever else you could get pay-per-views.
But that's it at this point.
You could just get it on ESPN Plus.
As I said, I've thrown on a bit of a mailbag onto this episode.
It'll be a shorter mailbag, but I did go out to you guys on Twitter, on Instagram, looking
for questions.
If you want to submit questions in the future, you can always DM me on Twitter.
I'm at Robbie Barstool.
I don't check my Instagram DMs as often, but I'll usually throw up a story the
day I record, which is usually a Sunday. It's the Sunday before the episodes come out where I'll say,
hey, anyone got any questions? And I'll try to pull from there as well. So actually, before I
even go through any questions, I did something for the very first time today that I'd like to
talk about. I went to a pub at 8 a.m. or I guess 9 a.m. I
shouldn't give myself more credit than I do. I went to a pub at 9 a.m. for a soccer match,
a little footy in New York City. It was an Arsenal game. I believe they were against
Newcastle United. I think that was the team. And I went because on radio a few weeks ago,
we were doing Wild Boys Radio, which is me, Marty Mush, Big Ev, Tommy Smokes, Glenny Balls, and Vibs.
When all of us, it's kind of a motley crew. We did it a few times in July due to Dave being in
Nantucket. But when all of us are on radio, we always bring really bizarre topics to talk about,
really out there things. And one of my topics the last time we did Wild Boys Radio was
I would like to pick a Premier League soccer team and
kind of just follow them. Get into the Premier League. Get into soccer. I've never been into it.
I played soccer one year. It was the year after, I guess it was 2009 because it was the year after
the 2008 World Cup. I was super into that World Cup because all my friends were. So I signed up
for soccer. I got placed on a team without any of my friends and we went defeated. We didn't get one win the whole season.
I think I was a midfielder.
I scored one goal.
But I digress.
Anyway, I said, I want to pick a team.
And who but Zah came walking into the radio studio with the biggest smile on his face in the world.
He sat next to me.
He put his arm on my shoulder.
He was like, Robbie, let me take you to one Arsenal game at my Arsenal bar.
It's going to be a great time.
Season opener. come with me.
So I texted him yesterday. I said, listen, Zaha, I'll do it. I'll come with you to the bar. What
time are we getting there? He said, 9 a.m. Be there for kickoff. I was there for kickoff. And
I'll tell you, it was a great time. It was a blast. Everyone's cheering for the same team.
Everyone's doing the same chants. Everyone's saying songs. And Arsenal wound up winning 1-0,
1-0, I believe they say,
on the pitch, on the footy pitch with the new kits. And it was a great time. So I think I'm
going to continue. I'm officially an Arsenal fan. If you're a Gooner, please welcome me to the club.
You know, I don't know much, but I will try. It was a great time. So shout out to Zah. Shout out
to Mikey Podcasts, who was there. Really, really fun time. I've had kind of a packed weekend.
I did Noel Gallagher and the Smashing Pumpkins at Jones Beach, which is all the way on Long Island.
Not in Long Island, on Long Island.
Did that on Friday.
I bought myself a ticket.
I went to that concert alone.
I know that's a weird move, but listen, I was feeling down.
I'm going to buy myself a crazy good ticket to this show that I want to go to.
I'm obviously a huge Smashing Pumpkins fan, huge Oasis fan, and I've never seen Noel or Liam solo.
So this was huge.
I bought myself a second row ticket.
I went by myself, and it was a blast.
Noel was, as they say across the pond, biblical, and the Smashing Pumpkins just fucked my face off.
They were awesome, rock and roll.
Second time I saw them, and they were actually, it was actually the third time I saw them.
Wow, holy shit, now that I'm thinking about that.
And it was the best time I saw them, without a doubt.
So if you could get out to that tour, I highly recommend it.
Now we can get into some questions.
Oh, and tonight I'm going to see Hootie and the Blowfish.
It's Sunday night as I'm recording this.
It's Sunday evening, actually.
And I'm going to see Hootie and the Blowfish with my mom instead of watching SummerSlam because Jesus Christ, SummerSlam,
I mean, the entire WWE product has not been good for a long time. So as always with the Q&A,
I've split it up into three sections, MMA, wrestling, and then miscellaneous. I have a
ton of miscellaneous this time around, not a ton of MMA and wrestling. So we'll kind of book right
through those. Let's get into it. MMA, Don Cunningham wants to know, if DC beats Stipe, do you think he will fight
Jon Jones, Francis Ngannou, or retire? I think if he beats Stipe, he probably fights Jon Jones next.
I still see a world in where that Brock Lesnar fight happens. I don't know if that's crazy to
say, but Lesnar didn't officially retire.
He's not out of the USADA pool as far as I know. So I think he fights Stipe. I think he beats Stipe.
I love Stipe. I hate to say that on an episode where I interviewed him and he was nothing but
cool to me, but I am predicting DC in that fight. And then I do think he has Jon Jones next. I hope
he does Jon Jones at heavyweight. I hope he does Jon Jones at heavyweight.
I hope he fights Jon Jones at heavyweight, I should say.
I just think that would be a new cool fold to that rivalry.
Neo wants to know,
who are my picks for the co-main and main event of UFC 241 in Anaheim?
I just gave you my pick for the main event.
In the co-main event, you know I got to ride with Stockton.
I got to ride with 209.
I got to ride with Nate Diaz. If he's not fighting McGregor, I'm going to ride with
him. That's pretty much where I stand with Nate Diaz. He had a phenomenal rivalry with McGregor.
Had that win over him. We'll give it to him. McGregor came back. Surprise, surprise,
motherfucker. The king is back. He beat him in one of the greatest fights the UFC has ever seen
at UFC 202. Ever since that day, I've kind of rode with Nate Diaz.
Every hype video he's posted, every return that he's teased, I've been behind him.
So I am riding with DC and Nate Diaz next weekend.
Irby wants to know if there's any update on me going to see Jon Kavanaugh in the new
SBG gym, the monster they're calling it.
There is no update.
I wish there was, but they just did the grand opening this weekend,
and I did not hear from Kavanaugh or SBG.
I know they're going to do another grand opening type thing, I think,
in September or October.
Maybe I'll hear from them then.
But, you know, if the update comes in, I would love to do something with them.
If it doesn't, oh, well, what can you do?
Rosendale or Roselyndale writes in with the final MMA question says,
is McGregor fighting again?
The answer to that question is yes.
I've heard from all of my sources that McGregor is fighting again.
Dana White made it sound like if Habib or Dustin Poirier is unable to compete at UFC 242 in Abu Dhabi that McGregor could possibly step in.
He kind of said, you never know what will happen.
I don't think that will happen, but there are rumors that he will fight Jose Aldo at 155 pounds at Madison Square Garden in November.
I think that could happen.
I think it's a great fight for McGregor. I think it's a great fight to get back into the swing of things, see where he's at, and maybe make something back up to the New York State Athletic Commission. On to pro wrestling
questions. John Grillo writes in and says, who do you think should dethrone Lesnar for the title?
This is a great question, John, but I don't know because I've been really out of touch with the
product, and I'll admit that. I would would say at this point I know Rollins has him
at SummerSlam tonight if you're listening to this that will have already happened I would like to
see like I mean I'm from like a biased standpoint I guess someone like Daniel Bryan but I would like
to see someone like Kofi Kingston dethrone him if Kofi Kingston the first ever African-American
WWE champion who's had this phenomenal championship run so far.
He's been so fucking good as champion.
And I'm saying this now.
I might be jinxing him.
He might not be champion by now.
But if he dethroned Lesnar and held both titles, I think that would just be fucking awesome.
Maybe that's because I'm a huge Kofi Kingston fan, but I think that would be really cool.
And as always, whenever I hear these questions, Cesaro is a name that pops into my brain.
I remember when Cesaro threw the big show over the top rope at WrestleMania 30 in the
Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and it looked like he was going to be the biggest
star.
It looked like he was going to be the biggest star the business has ever seen.
I would like to get back to those days, and I would have Cesaro dethrone him.
And Frank Costa writes in, this is theone him. Uh, and Frank Costa writes
in, this is the only other wrestling question and says, do you think we'll ever see DC versus Brock
in the WWE? And I think that is a very, very, very, very, very interesting question that I
hadn't even really thought about. I would have to say no. Um, I think we will see DC in the WWE, but I think Brock might be retired by the time we get DC.
I think it'll be a few years down the line,
and I don't know how much longer Brock Lesnar plans on wrestling,
but hey, maybe it's a long time.
Hopefully it's not too much longer,
because I'm pretty much done with Brock Lesnar.
I've seen all the Brock Lesnar that I have ever wanted to see in my life.
GB, and the miscellaneous question, so all of these are going to be about whatever. GB writes
in and says, when choosing a favorite football team, why on earth would you choose Arsenal of
all clubs? Kind of just described it. Zah said, can you choose Arsenal? And I love Zah, so I said,
yeah. And really, he said, can you choose Arsenal? And I said, I'll come to the pub for a test period.
But as soon as I walked in there and they started talking about it, they were like, what do we think about Tottenham?
And everyone else was like, they're shit.
I was like, yeah, I'm in.
That was fun.
You know, we're calling Tottenham shit.
So if you're a Tottenham fan out there, you're shit.
That's what we think about you.
Grade 13 writes in, says, have you ever considered acting?
No.
Boo writes in, says, if you could interview any fictional character from any movie or
television show on My Mom's Basement, who would it be and why?
Great question.
We kind of talked about this last week on the show when we were talking about which
Star Wars or MCU characters we would like to interview.
We would like to interview. And I'm going to stick with my answer from last week. I'm going to go
Star Wars and I'm going to say Lando Calrissian. I think Lando Calrissian has stories for days. I
think he has stories that will blow your mind. He's kind of like, I imagine his stories being
like the Freddie Mercury of space, like the Lando parties had to be insane.
So I'm going to stick with him.
Matt Schmidt writes in, says, could Superman beat Thanos on Earth?
I think he could.
I'm going to say yes.
I'm going to answer yes to that question.
And he also wants to know if Palpatine lost the fight to Mace Windu on purpose.
So he's talking Revenge of the Sith there, where, you know, Palpatine kind
of becomes Darth Sidious there. He gets his whole face deformed. He takes on Anakin as his apprentice.
He throws Mace Windu out the window, rest in peace. I don't think he lost the fight on purpose,
but he obviously cowered when it was necessary for him to cower. So kind of, yeah. I think once he sensed Anakin had entered the building,
he probably, that fight probably went the way he wanted it to go.
Especially once he saw Anakin.
I mean, of course, that's, that's the, they don't try to hide that at all.
But yeah, I think, I think to an extent he did.
I think Mace Windu did get the better of him.
But then Palpatine really played it on and made everything go the way he needed it to go for Anakin to come on as his apprentice.
Brooks Kirby says, what's your favorite dinosaur? Super random question. Probably a Velociraptor.
I think Velociraptors are pretty fucking cool. Pretty fast dinosaurs, eh? Coach writes in,
says, can you do a recap episode of The Boys? The Boys, if you're not aware, is an Amazon Prime television show, and it's kind of a satirical superhero show.
So it's serious, but it's also a bit of a black comedy.
Seth Rogen is involved in it.
It is fucking awesome.
It is my favorite show that I've watched all year.
It is so unique, so creative, such a good spin, such a good
depiction of superheroes, such a unique depiction of superheroes. It is, I can't say enough great
things about The Boys. So maybe I will do a recap episode, yeah. If, hit me up, I don't know how
many people watch The Boys. If you would like me to do a recap episode of The Boys, or even like
half an episode just talking about The Boys, I will do it. So hit me up on Twitter if you'd like to see that.
Cody Larkin writes in, says, Robbie, my guy, I need any update you might have on the next Spider-Man.
They cannot keep us waiting very long with where we left off. I'm dying out here. Cody,
if you think that I have an update on Spider-Man, you're out of your mind. And if you think
that if I had an update on Spider-Man, I would give have an update on Spider-Man, you're out of your mind. And if you think that if I had an update on Spider-Man, I would give you an update on Spider-Man, you're even crazier.
I'm sorry, buddy, but if Marvel was giving me the secret deets, I wouldn't be just reading them on the podcast.
Yeah, I have no idea what's going to happen in the next Spider-Man.
I mean, it's not announced for Phase 4, so you have to imagine it's Phase 5, right?
Like 2022 or something?
I'm with you. I wish I
wasn't waiting as long, but Jesus, man, I am too. Joe says, do you like Liam or Noel Gallagher
better? Tough question. Real tough one. I just saw Noel. I was in the second row, like I said.
It was biblical, like I said. I think Liam was probably the one way more responsible for the breakup of
Oasis and probably the most responsible for why Oasis is still not a band and won't be a band
anymore. But I still got to go with Liam, man. I'm sorry. I still got to go with him. Liam is just,
Liam's, I think, one of the coolest people to ever walk the face of the earth. His walk, his voice, his attitude, everything about him, his parka, the way he rocks a fucking parka.
I gotta go, Liam.
I'm sorry, Noel.
I gotta go, Liam.
I would love to see Liam live.
I hope he tours this new album in the United States because, god damn, that would be a hell of a show for me to see.
So, yeah, I'm sorry.
I think I would probably get along with Noel better, but Liam's the rock star in that group. And he's the main rock star. And finally,
to close off the podcast, Alicia writes in and says, would you rather fight one horse-sized duck
or a hundred duck-sized horses? I don't know if I've ever answered this before. It's obviously
a very famous internet hypothetical.
My answer is a very quick 100 duck-sized horses.
I think, I mean, a horse-sized duck, you're never going to win a fight against.
Never.
Literally never.
I will never win that fight.
That's crazy.
The duck would probably step on me and kill me.
So 100 duck-sized horses, I have a shot. I start throwing my legs around like I'm in a mosh pit, I have a shot.
So I'm going to go with that one.
Thank you for tuning into this podcast.
I'm sorry it was on the shorter side.
Next week, we will be back with an episode that I've wanted to do for a very, very long time.
PFT Commenter will be joining me, and we will each be breaking down our lists of our top 10 favorite guitarists in all of music.
