Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, My Mom's Basement listeners. You can find our episodes on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube, and Prime members can listen ad-free on Amazon Music. Hello and welcome to My Mom's Basement, ladies and gentlemen. It is Robbie Fox and Clem. Back for another episode of My Mom's Basement, not talking lanterns this time, not talking DC this time, flipping on over to the MCU, the Marvel Cinematic Universe for Vision Quest.
Starting point is 00:00:24 First two episodes dropped. They did a surprise drop, too. They were like, all right, all of a sudden, It's coming out the day before we said it was coming out because it was the day Wanda got the dark hold or something. I kind of like a little Easter egg like that. How are we doing, Clown? Doing good. Yeah, that was, I mean, the entire thing was kind of surprised.
Starting point is 00:00:40 The fact of this show came out is a surprise to me because I thought it had gotten just backlogged in Disney Plus production hell. So the fact when they were like, oh, this thing is done and we're going to release it, surprise. Then the release schedule was a surprise. I remember sending it to you. Yeah, like two at a time. for a couple weeks and then the last two or three or just one, it is a weird release schedule. Which I kind of like,
Starting point is 00:01:05 because a lot of times these shows the amount you have to like to dive into the world and diving back out, diving back in. So I like that. And then I still don't know what that was all about. It felt like a very happy coincidence. However, take yourself back to Wanda Vision days, people. We were looking for Easter eggs and breadcrumbs and dates. I'll still never know what that date was with the heart on it.
Starting point is 00:01:28 That's still. Calendar. Yeah, the calendar. Quick before we get into Vision Quest, programming update for everyone. So we are currently eight days away from me getting married. So we're going to pre-record a couple episodes for the next two weeks because I'm going on my honeymoon right after the wedding. So next week, you're going to get a comic book club with Jose Youngs.
Starting point is 00:01:49 We're going to talk time runs out, Jonathan Hickman's lead-in to Secret Wars, which I read and I think is going to be kind of like the focus for Doomsday in terms of pulling from one specific comic. I think they're going to pull a lot from this. So we're going to break that down with Jose. And then the next week, Halloween week, we will have a Halloween episode with our horror pal, Eddie. Eddie just loves horror. He loves scary movies. He's also just a great guy to talk to that we should get in the basement more often.
Starting point is 00:02:16 So I think there are going to be two fun episodes. And then after that, we'll get back into the Vision Quest, recaps. and we'll kind of backlog all of them into that episode. November 3rd week, I think it is. So we'll catch up eventually, but sorry, guys, it's on me. I'm getting married and going on my honeymoon. Our babies growing up. Our babies are growing up here at Barstool.
Starting point is 00:02:37 It's absolutely crazy to see young Bob Fox. Remember him when he was just a literally a teenager, right? You were 19 when you started? Yeah, today's 10 years. That's nuts, dude. Crazy. Today's a 10-year anniversary? Well, it'll be tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:02:52 as we're recording this is coming out on Friday. But Friday, October 16th is, yeah, the 10-year anniversary of Riggs hiring me. That's actually my wedding anniversary, too. So we're a lot of weddings in the air. October weddings are a great thing. I didn't realize you got hired, though, on my anniversary. That's awesome, man. And, yeah, 10 years, you have to have a-
Starting point is 00:03:08 Now it's our anniversary. You're going to have to have, you know, the long post, oh, my 10 years at Bar School. Thank you, Ed's still president. I love Nick has made it, the annual video. one of your anniversary. Congrats, Bob. On a many different fronts here.
Starting point is 00:03:27 Yep. And hopefully the Eddie and Jose Young's guest appearances will make up for not recapping Vision Quest as it comes out for the people. I feel like we're getting two of the most likable guys in the basement back on the pod. And, you know, T. Bob would round out that trilogy probably. The T. Bob responses, we've heard you. Teabobobb will try to get in here. It is funny, though.
Starting point is 00:03:49 Because our, our, our, Venn diagram with Teabob, it's not very overlapping because he actually handles a lot of this stuff we don't do with Lord of the Rings. Obviously, Star Wars overlaps, but World of Warcraft, all that kind of stuff. And I don't know how big he is with like Marvel. Obviously, Green Lantern just happened to be like his favorite fucking guy in D.C. So, but, you know, a nerd is a nerd. He'll find a way. He's a Disney guy too.
Starting point is 00:04:14 So, you know, there's a lot of ways you can get Jose down here. And Eddie, Eddie is just made to be the guy that you like are always happy. he's in your basement. We're playing video games, having the sleepover with the pizza and the mountain do and all that stuff. Also, check out my interviews this week. I put up one with David Desmouchon, one of our favorites, Polka Dot Man, obviously Toma Schiff, the paranoid schizophrenic from the Dark Night. And he's in a million different things.
Starting point is 00:04:39 He's in street fighters and Bison this week. Also check out my interview with Dana White's son, Aiden White, and his cousin, Will Carter. They're coming out with a new manga, Marshall War. It's out on Dark Horse Comics next year. I had both of them in the basement this week. Two good interviews, two fun times. We also talked to Dark Night with David Dasmalsh. So check your bingo card.
Starting point is 00:05:00 There's the little Dark Night reference. I saw some Numbies on that one of those clips. Yeah, that was going on. People love when you talk about the Dark Night. I mean, numbs every time. But yeah, it was a cool story of him talking about the first time he got to watch it. Because I was curious about that, like, what is the first time you're watching the greatest movie of all time,
Starting point is 00:05:19 like if you're in the greatest movie of all time? And not just like he spotted in the background. You know, he's got like two big scenes where it's like, oh, my God, the dolls twist on the name tag and then him in the alleyway and him talking about that. It was awesome. He sticks with you too. That's a face that. As soon as I saw him, like, I know that guy. And every time I'd see him, like, I know that guy from somewhere.
Starting point is 00:05:38 And it was back to the dark night. So very cool stuff happening in the basement. All right. Let's get into Vision Quest. Two episodes drop. The first one is called No Strings. The second one is called Theseus. and just broad stroke thought real quick off the top.
Starting point is 00:05:54 I really liked this. We saw good reviews coming out before we even watched it. So we started to get the hopes up, at least I did for sure. And I think the tone of it is what I like the best. Like this feels like a show that could be on BBC, not just because of the British actors, but just it has like this very self-aware and also like cheeky.
Starting point is 00:06:16 How about that for a little adjective? A little cheeky. when you see Ultra on the first time and they hit you with like asshole and there's little like things coming up on the screen some of the references I'm talking about food delivery and whatnot I love the tone of the show and then it gets serious when you need it to how many fucking point blank executions did we see in the first two episodes I was like holy shit they're getting serious when they need to so just the first two episodes I wasn't like oh my god this is the greatest thing I've ever seen but I think it laid a really really good foundation for what could be a great show yeah and again I don't know how much of this was really picked up when I was discussing when they brought it back. But I was not looking forward to having a review this show. Because I've lived through enough Marvel shows. And listen, there's been some good ones for sure. There's probably been a couple of great ones.
Starting point is 00:07:01 There's been some good. There's been some good. There's been some bad. No way around it. However, we're kind of been spoiled with what we're eating on HBO Max these days, right? With the Lantern stuff. And it was like, oh, I'm going to have to deal with this show that probably should have come out like, let's see, it's 26 now.
Starting point is 00:07:15 Maybe like four years ago would have made a little more sense, right? when Wanda Vision was still, even like remotely. Like they should have got Agatha out even before that. Like Agatha all along. Like that was a meme two years before it became a show. So I was like, you know, hitting play and arms crossed me like, I'll see what they have your stupid bobb and box in a stupid show. And honestly, like, I wasn't like that because I remember you would send me a clip or
Starting point is 00:07:39 to him like, this show actually looks fun. And it's, it's bright. It looks great. It's, it's unique. It's fun. It's quirky. it's what was the word you used? I like that. Cheaky. It's a little cheeky.
Starting point is 00:07:51 It's cheeky. A couple cheeky bastards on this show. And you're just like, oh, Spader. I love Jerry Spader. It's like, all right, guys. I've had it. It's like, it's like, Jose Ramirez underrated. We've heard that enough. I love James Spader. He's, he's, and he's in his like Hobbit beard phase right now. And it's just, he pulls it off. And I saw people, like, oh, I wish Ultron, you know, they must, they must have
Starting point is 00:08:12 Spader as his human form because the Ultron budget would have been too much. I think it works a lot better having a human there. I do too. We have all the other humans there. And the humor. Like maybe my biggest criticism for Athe of Ultron is too much Ultron humor where he comes up with that no string speech. And he's like scary at first, even in the trailer, he's terrifying.
Starting point is 00:08:35 And in the movie, he's cracking a lot of jokes that don't all work for me. When he's James Spader cracking those jokes, I think it works way better with the tone of that character. And then he still, every now and then will like put on that. voice where you're like, oh shit, there's that menacing Ultron voice as he's walking up to Paul Benny, uh, do what you should have done all those years ago. And he has that gravel again. Like I think it definitely works better.
Starting point is 00:08:59 And even just the first shot you get of them in episode one when he goes up in the house and everything and he sees him on the balcony waiting for his virtual delivery or what, whatever he's saying, the shot of Ultron on that bright balcony was so weird that it was like, it didn't feel like I was in the MCU for a second. And I liked that. 100%. I'm with you on that. And we are in this like little Scottish or wherever pub.
Starting point is 00:09:27 And then to go and you have Ultron on this. You're like, what's going on here? Like this isn't computing comes together. Even a lot of the- This isn't computing. That was good. I was good.
Starting point is 00:09:37 I wish I could say that on purpose. Spader, even like some of his facial things, like when he saw the elevator goes up and it's like, oh, there you are, you know? So there's a lot of things that really work.
Starting point is 00:09:48 And again, the food joke with the sesame chicken calzone, which I'm telling you, might not be terrible. Let's give it a try. You can't have too much cheese in it. I could see maybe working potentially. However, it would not have worked if just Ultron in his robotic, no emotions face is throwing it out. So I love Spader. I even like a lot of the other people who I don't even know. So, and we're going to get to know them.
Starting point is 00:10:13 You know, obviously there's a little bit of a hole that's going to have to be filled some of them. So again, I was like, whoa. And this not only doesn't make me happy now that we're going to be watching this for another,
Starting point is 00:10:24 whatever episodes it is six. We have eight episodes total? I think so, yeah. But it's like, I now have faith that if they're treating this show about Vision, who's kind of was never an A or B tier
Starting point is 00:10:36 or Avenger with this kind of like quality, that when they do shows for bigger characters, it's going to be met with the same quality, right? Yeah. Because I think that was our biggest concern whenever there's a new Disney Plus project. It's like, oh, boy, secret invasion. Yeah. And even this, like, I was, like, delighted to see, like, halfway through episode one,
Starting point is 00:10:56 it almost registered that Paul Bettney is, like, giving it his all, which sounds stupid. But, like, I was like, oh, he's, like, definitely not, like, phoning it in. He's having more fun in this version of vision than I think I've ever seen him. Again, he, I guess he's, you know, obviously the Soulstone, all that is super important to the lore. but he's never even an infinity war like he doesn't feel like a focus because he's i don't know he's been kind of boring in the mc u so far there you go he got this phone and the idea of putting him in this ship of theseus type thing where he's denying his past almost reminds me of loki where loki could go back and rewatch his memories there's a scene in this show already where he's going
Starting point is 00:11:38 into the theater and rewatching visions life and stuff and i think it's like a cool way to reinvent the character without recasting them or anything like that. And also going back to the Infinity saga and it does make sense. Because they have to do a bunch of like, hey, remember when? Remember when? Because there's people who have never seen any of that stuff and are just hopping in for the first time. And it kind of like made me nostalgic. It was like, oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:02 Those are some good times back then. It's a good first five minutes too. They're like almost like previously on vision. And they give you like the entire MCU story of vision as told by. vision i thought that was like really good and i was trying to think if i had never seen any of this stuff or i'd seen movies here or there would i be able to put everything together i think for the most part yeah yeah i think that's maybe until they start getting into like the heavy wanda vision stuff in episode two that might start getting confusing if you didn't see any of wanda vision that's
Starting point is 00:12:32 i wonder the dark magic the dark hold all that kind of stuff too yeah you get really even the stuff with the kid if you haven't seen it because i'm like all right i get this i didn't think about if you're on the other side of it. Yeah. Yeah. I like the pub owner. I, well, spoilers. I loved the pub.
Starting point is 00:12:51 Yeah, spoilers. I liked the pub owner. I loved her. Yeah, she was great. So happy. I was like, I hope this woman is with us this whole time. She's just a delight. I thought she was a great actress.
Starting point is 00:13:05 I know. And it was the pub that they used to go to. They had the Wanda Vision carving and everything. I like that he went into the fridge to like, activate his own vision's mind at night. And the way it went into his mind and we see like the Matrix type field and then the house builds out of that, but that was all really cool. And then you get dummy, you, Jarvis, and Friday.
Starting point is 00:13:28 Edith comes into the picture a little later. I'll say this. I love the actress that plays Edith from Schitt's Creek. Hysterical. I didn't love her character at first and by the end of episode two warmed up to her. At first, I was just like, what is this zany, like parachuting in, doing all this crazy shit. But then the more I read also about the description of the character from the actor, she's like, yeah, it was kind of based on like if Tony Stark put his personality into a cool pair of sunglasses and then gave it to a teenager to have fun with. And I was like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:14:00 That actually in universe kind of does make sense. And someone wrote on Twitter, now that we see like the human form of Edith, she's definitely the kind of person to like nuke strike a bus full of school children. You remember that scene and far from home? Yeah. Yeah, I loved her too. And again, I was like at first, I'm like, oh, this is, she's going to be a little much, huh? And by the end, I'm like, no, I like having her around. Just the AI as characters.
Starting point is 00:14:26 I didn't know we were getting this whole AI team. I don't know how much you knew heading into this series, but I, I knew we were getting Spader as Ultron, but I didn't know we were going to have the whole gang here. So I was loving it. I thought that was such a great quirky and original, like just. Little things like that where there's times where they just never did anything in some of these shows for the MCU. And the fact they're taking chances and doing stuff so original and fun, I absolutely loved it. Even, and even again, tickling the nostalgia, Funny Bone, the giant location font, Bob, that got it moving too.
Starting point is 00:15:00 Love that. And it's the exact font they used in Infinity War. Oh, I love that. I'm sure font nerds like, it's Sanserif. How do you not know that? But I'm telling you, that got it going. And even the little things in universe, vibranium foil, when he has like the aluminum foil. I love that.
Starting point is 00:15:17 The way that they show a data leak is like a leak in the house, like a data breach. That was really cool. I thought everyone in the house having their own roles to dummy and you being like the custodians almost. You've got Jarvis as like the head of the household. Jarvis also, I just love that actor. And I never watched Agent Carter, which he's heavily featured in. I'm sure I would like it if it's heavily focused.
Starting point is 00:15:41 on him because you get him in Infinity War a little bit or an end game a little bit, just saying goodbye to Tony as Howard's getting in his car. And then you get him here and he's super likable. Or again, spoilers was super likable. We're losing people. What you got? It gives you some stakes. I know.
Starting point is 00:15:59 I was thinking that. And we're losing someone we've had since Iron Man won. Like now he's gone. It actually gave me a little bit Raza Skywalker Bob's at C3PO. Did you think about that at all? I was like, what if we bring Babu Frickin? Can we get Jarvis back? There is never a time where I'm like, oh, that reminded me of it.
Starting point is 00:16:16 I couldn't even tell you what rises, what happens in rises? Wait, is that when Chewy dies? Do they think kill Chewley in writing? Yeah, yeah, yeah. But then remember C3Pio, you also think he dies because he has to turn his memory off to get the Sith language on the dagger. Right. And then he has the red eyes like he stoned. Yeah, I didn't thought about high C3PO.
Starting point is 00:16:36 That would have been. That actually, if they had just really embraced him being high, that might have been a better. I'm sorry, I just saw a Reddit the other day where someone's like, I just watched the last Jedi for the first time. And then I just was going through the thread and it was people who were like, no, I liked it. Like, I didn't love it. And then it was people just trashing it. I'm like, I can't believe this is still a thing all these years later. I was thinking we're coming up on 10 years of that in two years of 2008, I want to say will be 10 years of the last Jedi.
Starting point is 00:17:02 We're going to have to like do a live show or something. A lot of debate style show or something. like we have podiums. There was a lot of tech Easter eggs in this too. Like the fire. I mean, some of it was very on the nose. The firewall like cans and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:17:19 The fireplace being pixelated. Did you see that? I like that. Did anyone else notice that? Because I picked up with that. I was very proud of it. Good work, Bob. And then like even the newspaper when Vision's reading the newspaper and there was a
Starting point is 00:17:31 couple little things that come back. Did you notice that? So I didn't notice it in real time. I saw the newspaper and thought that's probably a reference to something and then on Twitter later, people were saying it could be referencing hammer industries from Iron Man 2, which also I could see happening because the rumors about this show months ago were that armor wars, the series about, you know, people going after Stark Industries technology now that Tony's not around, kind of got folded into this.
Starting point is 00:17:59 People were saying like, yeah, armor wars isn't happening because they folded some of the storylines from it into Vision Quest. If that's true, I think that could be a very viable theory right off the bat for like the client. Is that Justin Hammer? Is that someone from Hammer Industries? I don't know. Yeah. I saw Butcher Bird Wings, which I was like, again, I did some research like, that's way above me.
Starting point is 00:18:22 And then Adamantium stolen. And then we already saw some adamantium being used in in the episode. So it was nice like just knowing that if you are paying attention and you happen to spot something, it usually pays off or there is some Jose Young of the world. He was just like, oh my God, I can't believe they just mentioned blah, blah, blah, without mentioning that. I was thinking like, are there people out there that are like, yes, Paladins in the M-C-U? I've never heard of Paladin, you know? But I was like, Jose might be out there.
Starting point is 00:18:52 Like, no way, they use Paladin. Let me see. Marvel Paladin. Does anyone have his tattoo? Marvin, Marvel, Paladin. No way. No way. dark paladin he looks he looks cool too and i thought he was good in the series i'm not trashed him
Starting point is 00:19:08 he was just a very obscure you know random kind of like c tier goon villain before you get to the final boss i mean this just looks like other paladin other paladin that they're they're doing i don't think it's the uh the hero for marvel but god bless if if anyone out there is just like over the moon happy that paladin guys because that is kind of hashtag paladin guys This is a lot of guys. Yes. That is a fair handshake for the week. The client, Bob, who's the client?
Starting point is 00:19:38 That's our new. The Suss list is now the client list. The power broker feels like the same thing when we were talking about that. And Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Honestly, I was thinking, is there any chance? I know we're going to Madrepoor in this series as well. Is there any chance it literally is the power broker? Is it Sharon Carter?
Starting point is 00:19:55 Is that their way of bringing her back? Can you imagine if they just bring her back and like, no, no, no, but this time we're going to pay it off. I swear. I mean, like, they need to eventually, right? We can't just forget about her. Yep. Because there's a whole lot of just balls flying in the air right now from post-credit scenes and the endings of some of these shows.
Starting point is 00:20:12 Is it Roy Kent Hercules? Yeah. Or are they just saying all that shit is gone at the end of Doomsday? We're just, you know, clipping all those timelines. And then we'll see at Secret Wars. And then it'll be completely fresh from there. And I don't know. But I was thinking, could it be, Sharon?
Starting point is 00:20:29 because again, that's where we're conditioned to. I was thinking somebody else, though, Bob. Have you ever heard of someone named Mephisto? We are. We got him now. Yeah, he's out there. He's got to come into the picture later. Would Mephisto have to hire someone to track down a computer?
Starting point is 00:20:49 It seems a little below him. Maybe he wouldn't, but it could kind of make sense. In Agatha all along, we have Aubrey Plaza's death going after the souls of Billy and Tommy. because she's like they shouldn't be alive. Mephisto, I would imagine, is kind of like of the same mindset. And if they team up Mephisto with death, that could be good.
Starting point is 00:21:09 That could be good. But it does seem like a lot for a show that is more about computers, technology and the vision side of things. However, I had to throw Mephisto out there. That was our Wanda Vision weekly Mephisto update. And then the only other person I've heard people discuss, Jocasta Pim, I do not know who the fuck that is.
Starting point is 00:21:28 But it's- People were talking Joe Costa, Pim. Also, there's a tweet saying, like, I can't believe they recast Jicasta because Jicasta something is the librarian in the Star Wars prequels. Jicosta knew or something. Jicosta knew, I think, her name is. That's the name of the librarian and the Star Wars preacles. Yeah, when they go off and she's like, we lost the planet.
Starting point is 00:21:51 Camino's not on the registry. And they were like, I can't believe. Oh, my God. I think they were kidding, but the tweets were redos. ridiculous a lot of jacosta new tweets so i don't know who this jacosta is before when i'm reading it says ultron they made a wife for ultron yes i believe so so but i don't really know my i don't well that's like a we'll get jose on after the way and he's going to have to explain that to us we might have a full because again we're going to have pretty much the whole show by the time bob
Starting point is 00:22:22 gets back there might be a lot of things that have to be explained if we're going towards this side of the Marvel universe, I don't think even, I don't think we can handle much of that. The Giscostas Pim of the world. Yeah. Also, there was that painting of like the man on fire and I was like, what is that? It's the first human torch and it used to be an android and was, you know,
Starting point is 00:22:42 used for vision. There's a lot of backstory there that I'm sure for the diehard comic fans, they were like, I can't believe this. But I'm still at surface level where for me they mentioned like Adamantian. I'm like, that's what Loprene's claws are made out of. Yeah, exactly. We're much more on the knob inside. A little more basic.
Starting point is 00:22:58 I thought it was Vision when he's like walking out with the fire around him. I sort of did too. I sort of did too. But they said the first human torch was an android. And it was like, and we're talking timely comics before Marvel was Marvel. Oh, okay. So it's like a deep, deep cut reference.
Starting point is 00:23:17 I loved when Fiona the shop owner told Vision that the customer thought he was trying to shagger, or shag his wife. that was just a good little one yeah too much smiling thought he was trying to shagg's wife and he's like continuing to learn about what humans can can be like and i feel like they're doing a good job of like they're doing ai commentary but it doesn't feel as heavy handed as it did in say uh uh iron heart where you have like the AI friend and they're like this isn't right because she passed away this is an AI version of her i understood what they're going for i agree with a lot of the messaging it was just a little on the nose This, I feel like they're doing a good job where they're not beating you over the head with it. But every now and then you're like, oh, that's a little reference to modern meta nowadays stuff. Yeah. And listen, if I'm going to have to read that, I think I are, you know, view it, watch it consume it. I'd probably rather it in this sense than in like on my Twitter feed and all the other stuff where there's enough doom scrolling going on these days, boys and girls.
Starting point is 00:24:19 I'll take it in this. And like, honestly, I think the, um, the what's the best way to put it humanity in general the commentaries on humanity i think are pretty much spot on and you want to hate ai well someone made ii and those people i've been destroying each other forever and kind of when he's like reading the newspaper he's like why did these people just continue trying to do destroy you know yeah that was all good the villain i also think like the paladin the guy that played him he was really good yeah and i didn't need him to be anything next level. But for our first two episodes obstacle, we have to overcome, I was pretty impressed
Starting point is 00:25:00 with him. And like, even the scenes where he's going back and forth with the client, his sidekick, his like woman in the chair, there are theories that she's AI. Some people think she's too knowledgeable about all this stuff and needs to have a connection to it and that'll be a reveal. I could see that. But I like when the client like hacks into their feed, the little back and forth, are you comparing Thanos to a scrotum? Like that line really got me. I like that. His chin didn't appear. Sherwood Ellis was Vision's chosen name. I don't know if that's a reference to anything,
Starting point is 00:25:31 but it sounds British as hell, tell you that much. British. Lewis. Sherwood Ellis. Let's see if we have any good combination of a street wand to live and Vision lived on. Oh, I like that. Although he doesn't believe in that version of himself.
Starting point is 00:25:49 He's like, that's a fake version of Vision. And he can't even watch that. The Sword Files, I like when they tried to show him the Sword Files. and he was all freaked out by that. That was a good scene. The client stuff,
Starting point is 00:26:00 when the client's barging in and whatever, and the client list, sussless. Okay, so I guess we'll throw the lady on, like, the head piece. She is on the suss list because we don't know. Yes.
Starting point is 00:26:14 She's not the client, unless she's pulling some chicanery to be on the client. The client, however, I'm wise to this shit. I'm wise to it now, Bob. Again,
Starting point is 00:26:24 I'm riding high. of that noodle arm quarterback revealed the first episode. Playing with How's money right now. Yes. They are, and listen, I apologize, people. I know we're just trying to escape the real world from a little bit. They are being very heavy-handed with the client, the he, the he, the he, it's going to be a she.
Starting point is 00:26:41 That's why I think it's Jakarta or someone or sharing someone else. They are very heavy-handed with he. And that's, you know, Disney go woke and you're broke. They don't usually throw the pronouns around like that. So I, it's like when I, I'm like, The book wants me to bet the Bengals, so I'm going to bet the Steelers. Because the number doesn't make sense. That's what I'm doing here.
Starting point is 00:27:01 I'm saying you're saying he, he so much. I think at least this is going to be completely wrong if someone actually watched it. But that's what I'm saying. I think it's going to be a girl. If I was playing guess who, I like that. That would be my guess. And the voice is to throw us off too. It's like when Leah puts on the boost discuss.
Starting point is 00:27:18 Yes. Yes, you do. I like that. I like the scene where Paladin starts to dig in. to Westview. I like the scene where we meet Tommy Maximoff or Thomas Shepard and he's running this pick pocket scam. Oh, I've loved that watch scam. Oh, that was good. That was really good. Oh, they got it. I also like this actor a lot. Billy, I liked the actor, but it took me like a couple episodes to get used to him. This actor right away, I was like, oh, he's got something. I don't know
Starting point is 00:27:47 what it is, but he's got something. And I really like the casting. Even when he's like giving his desperate plea like, well, and he's like, oh, he's like, oh, he's like, oh. He's got something. I don't know what. He's like, I'm your son, like whatever. Or when he says, I have your son. And then he's giving the desperate plea when he's like, you know, I'm not involved in this or whatever. I believed it. I was like, this is really intense and good for a show that started off again
Starting point is 00:28:07 with a bunch of cheeky bastards. Did you? All right. No, no. The Tommy. It's the same actor as the end of Wanda Vision. No. They recast both because it's like, I believe like Wanda Vision,
Starting point is 00:28:23 they're so like the souls of Tommy and Billy went into two other people like in Wanda Vision Billy had been a kid that had just gotten to a car crash and like I think like the second he died was the second it happened as okay because I was like I feel like this kid's much older than they would have been in the show however it's been what's again six years
Starting point is 00:28:44 so as we know the stranger things those kids are going to grow up at some point so I'm like shit I'm not going back and rewatching Wanda Vision to see if this is the actor okay so for everyone else that was of the same thing. Bob has our answer. Thank you very much, Bob. You're the Jose. And then. Yeah, very like junior varsity, Jose. Freshman. The only other episode that, or the only other part of the episode that we didn't really cover, although we did talk about it is the moment
Starting point is 00:29:10 where Fiona dies. The like ambush on the pub, really cool the way they shot that with the lights going into the pub and everything. Hated to see our girl die, but really good scene. I was like, oh, like It gave me the jersey. Oh, God, I got it. I got on my tomatoes or something, you know. I didn't see that. I don't know why. I thought we were going to be pals with her forever.
Starting point is 00:29:31 I, you know, egg on my face, I guess. And it was because Ultron leaked the location. He's like, I had to speed the process up. I even like that, we're like, yes, that's incredibly fucked up and he got someone killed. But in his mind, he's really not doing that to be an asshole or to he's just like, come on, let's get on with this. This is going to happen. So let's approach it and confront it now.
Starting point is 00:29:50 You have an Ultron in your brain. He's going to do shit you don't like. and whether then you're going to question if he's doing it out of like evil reasons or, you know, he in his mind, it's all the right reasons. Got to break some eggs to make a tomlet, right? So that's kind of what we did. You know, seeing that poor little lady down, kind of maybe Miss Olivia Coleman in the MCU. I was thinking about her the other day because someone posted some stupid secret invasion thing.
Starting point is 00:30:15 And I was thinking it's such a shame that she was stuck in that show because her scenes were incredible. Like, I mean, she's incredible in everything. But she was such a good, like, cutthroat. Wasn't she cutting fingers off and shit? Like, she was badass, and they should make, oh, the client? Client. Olivia Coleman.
Starting point is 00:30:33 Client watch. Client watch. Yeah, it does. Olivia Coleman. All right, client watch. Sharon Carter. Costa. Costa.
Starting point is 00:30:44 What was saying? I don't even know what her. We're not even saying Olivia Coleman's character name. Olivia Coleman. I couldn't even tell you what it is. Caroline Sinclair doesn't ring it. Oh, no, that's not even it. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:30:56 That's her real name. Wait, hold on. Whoa, Olivia Coleman's real name is Caroline Sinclair? Oh, my God. Why would you have Coleman spelled wrong as your fake name? That's so messed up. Do they spell Coleman without the E over there?
Starting point is 00:31:12 I guess. And her character's name is Sonia Fallsworth. So, which Sonia kind of rings a doll. Caroline Sinclair is the real name. is the real name of Olivia Coleman? Where did she get that from? Oh, hold on. Her name's Sarah Caroline Sinclair.
Starting point is 00:31:27 This goes deeper. This goes deep. She is the client. Yeah, exactly. We're learning a lot about her. This is some client level chicanery going on. I kind of stop saying chicanery. She just, she just picked a new name.
Starting point is 00:31:40 Good for her. You know what? She said, Saralon, Caroline, Carolon. Sarah, would have been a polar name. Sarah Caroline Sinclair. She said, nope, I'm Olivia Coleman. Again, you misspelled Coleman.
Starting point is 00:31:53 I don't get it. It always throws me off. And now if I'm finding out it's her fake name, kind of gets me. I can't stay mad at her. I just love her so much. I saw a thing where she was like at some fashion week or something. She was walking like the runway. And I was like, Olivia Coleman or in this case, Sarah Line or whatever.
Starting point is 00:32:11 Hashtag Sarah Lahn. Hashtag. You might have to throw a disclaimer at the beginning of this podcast. Like warning, there are some things here. Like it's like when I found out Colt McClellan. boy's real name. And again, if you don't want to know, don't go to his Wikipedia. Yeah. All right. Before we get into, go ahead, go ahead. Do you want to, we'll do this after the end. We'll do it after. All right.
Starting point is 00:32:31 Well, let's hit an ad real quick. A new sponsor here at my mom's basement called Monarch. Okay. So if you're trying to chip away at debt, if you're going after credit cards, student loans, car loans, any of that, you're looking forward to the light at the end of the tunnel. the relief of going from this will never end to having an actual date in your calendar knowing I'm going to pay everything off on this day. You can then talk to Monarch, our new sponsor, about their debt pay down simulator and visualizer that helps you track all your process. So this is very good.
Starting point is 00:33:04 You can watch the timeline move in real time. The visualizer lays out your whole payoff journey is a clear, motivating timeline, play out your options. You pick the fastest one. You pick whatever's best for you. And Monarch will help you make. manage all of that. They break the debt cycle. They turn endless gloom into a plan with an end date so you can make room to put more toward debt without feeling deprived. Take the burden of tracking
Starting point is 00:33:26 off your plate with check-ins on your laptop, on your phone. It's very quick. You'll always know exactly where your money is with Monarch. And most apps only tell you what you've already spent. Monarch helps you set goals, map out your big purchases and see if you're actually on track before it's too late to adjust. It's a great product. Maybe I'll check out Monarch a little bit post-wedding. Maybe I'll have to dig into that. Write your own money story with Monarch. Use code basement at monarch.com to get your first year of Monarch core half off at just $50. 50% off your first year of Monarch.com with code basement.
Starting point is 00:34:01 Again, $50, 50% off the first year. Very good deal. And Monarch is going to help you out. If you've got any of those student loans, car loans, any debt, they can help you out with it. Yeah, I'm, I'm not bad with money in terms of like, I'll just, spend directlyously. But like, I don't just like plan well or I need something to envision. Like you said. So being able to envision it, it kind of makes it all just click for me. So shout out Monarch. That that's huge. Shout out Monarch code basement. All right. What were you
Starting point is 00:34:30 trying to get into? Okay. I brought him up. I got to ask. I'm quote McCoy. He shares a common thread. We had the basement bowl this week, Bob. Whoa. Yeah. I'm wearing the hat. Yeah. I can't believe it took us 36 minutes to talk about it. We had the basement bowl this week. And like, if you told me a week ago, we're going to have the basement bowl, it's going to be a tie. I would have been like, you know what? I don't love that. It is what it is, though.
Starting point is 00:34:58 The weather was bad. I was just worried about Jaden getting hurt again if he's back. After watching the game, I'm not so sure that I'm as okay with the tie. It was one of the most insane endings to a football game I've ever witnessed because I didn't, I just couldn't compute. what was happening. And I had just watched the ending of Eagles, Eagles Jaguars in London, which that was a fucked up ending, too, where it went back and forth three times in the last two minutes where I was like, all right, Eagles got this.
Starting point is 00:35:25 And then they gave it away. And then it seemed like there were so many teams on Sunday trying to lose. I tweeted that it reminded me of the South Park episode where they go to the Little League World Series. And they're just trying so hard to lose. They just want the season to be over. The basement bowl was a disaster, a catastrophe, as Jersey Jerry would say. A catastrophe.
Starting point is 00:35:44 And again, like, 99% of that game. I was like, I can't believe we were going to lose this game. This game is over. We're going to lose. But then the way it goes, like there was a 1% we're like, oh, we're definitely winning this game. So then tying, I'm like, I can't believe we tied. We should have won this game if Scataboo doesn't fumble there. And then it's like after like a step on our side, how you're not going to feel goal off?
Starting point is 00:36:05 And that's the other thing. You guys didn't even get it off. And again, the play like broke my brain. I'm like, wait a minute. I was monitoring the timeouts. And I'm like, they don't have timeouts. And then when he went down, I'm like, what, like, what are they doing that I don't go gets the game we want?
Starting point is 00:36:19 And I'm a football noob. Like, I don't know football, a quarter of as much as you know it. So I'm just like, well, you must know what he's doing, right? Like, Dan Quinn knows football better than me, right? Like, this must be on. There must be a thought to this. And then after the game, you look on Twitter, you look on everything. And everyone's trying to compute.
Starting point is 00:36:36 Like, what was he thinking? And they have no, no one's taking the blame. They're all saying, we got to be better. And then they're trying to. You were saying he thought he was going to get double OT. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Nate and PFT are like diving deep into this and that. And it's like, I honestly, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:36:53 Again, I'm very happy to have escaped with the W there. I feel better. Again, the tie. It just feels like a win because we didn't lose. And at the end, it's like we're 3-1-on-one and the rest of the division is just puking on themselves because the Cowboys started Thursday out losing to the goddamn bucks. And then the Eagles game, like you said.
Starting point is 00:37:11 I also watched AJ's game, which every tackle game AJ's had has been in the rain, which is just driving me crazy in the stands. And these poor kids are like crying because they're freezing cold. They're eight years old. And they're playing football in this terrible weather at 8 a.m. Right. So it's been. Oh, it's so seeing that the Eagles game and then the basement ball was like just a work.
Starting point is 00:37:36 Thank God we had Vision Quest. We didn't take our mind off this shit. we basically had we watched secret invasion on a football field and we got vision quest to kind of straighten us out so again I'm sorry the way it it played out for you there that was tough like you said these days a ball we were together yeah scenario because we're kind of like we're literally the basement got like these two teams in the nFCs have been living in the basement together occasionally we go up the stairs but usually we're together down there it's like the blood's in the crypts meme we're like and that's our colors too
Starting point is 00:38:09 that's a good point. Vision Quest episode two, Theseus. So you know right away we're getting back into the ship of Theseus talk. And that makes you feel real enlightened, makes you feel like you're a literature major. Actually. Yeah. And we get one year ago Tommy's deposition and then him on the bus with Lisa, the girl he runs the pickpocket scam with and the scary driver. I don't know what I know.
Starting point is 00:38:36 Not the driver. They're like security guy. I don't know what I know him from, but I feel like I knew him from something. And he was good. Yeah, you know, you're right. That's a good point. I'll have to look at it. Lady Fox was like, is he like a villain in Harry Potter or like a bully in Harry Potter?
Starting point is 00:38:50 And I was like, that's the vibe he was given off for sure. If he's not, he has a career. He has the film. Yeah. You know, which is. Yeah. Cast him in the new HBO, Harry Potter. He could play any one of those characters.
Starting point is 00:39:00 He was real good. And I like the overall talk of her teaching him, who you are isn't as a. important as who you pretend to be, basically telling them like, your, your upbringing doesn't matter. Like, you can decide today who you're going to be. Yes. And I love that whole origin story as you're seeing it play out and you're getting, again, I'm still looking like, is this the actor from Wanda Vision? I'm still thinking that at that point. Like that kid grew up quick. Yeah. However, the whole like, I never, what, um, is it, is it catch me if you can or it's a blow or it might be a
Starting point is 00:39:37 different movie where it's like I didn't it's in jail where I learned how to become a criminal and I always think of those blow jail scenes with Johnny Depp and I forgot the other guy and the other guy like gets him into the drug trade or whatever and that's kind of the whole vibe I was getting here where she's like no you can kind of do whatever you want and again this guy seemed like he was a pretty innocent kid and this is what really turned him out for lack of a better turns him into Marty Supreme yeah exactly she's bad yeah because he's like who should I be she's And she's like, whoever you need to be to survive. Or like, who are you, whoever need to be to survive?
Starting point is 00:40:11 I like that overall. And I feel like that is kind of going to be the big overarching. Overarching team. You can choose who you want to be. Vision can choose. From this day forward, I am Tommy's dad. Hopefully we'll get to that point. Because right now he's like, he ain't my fucking son.
Starting point is 00:40:24 I don't care if he's got any. I don't fucking know that kid. And they really like, they hype up the Paladin in this episode. He gets the comic book suit. And you think, oh, is he going to be, you know, someone who's going to last all series? No, he's not. But the way he kills that security guard, that execution that I mentioned, that's pretty crazy.
Starting point is 00:40:42 I love seeing the use of powers in this episode. Tommy's use of powers when he can, like, unscrew things with vibration and stuff. And then vision, it's not really powers. They just show, like, how he computes the situation when he knowingly walks into a trap. They talk to Ultron because they're like, all right, dealing with a villain. We're going to have to get into the mind of a villain. One of my favorite tropes. You know I love it from X2, which yesterday we put out in a super-cour
Starting point is 00:41:07 episode on X2. Clemer didn't like it. Couldn't believe that. He was like, eh, it's okay. Two and a half stars. Two and a half stars. I was really, you got the Clemer.
Starting point is 00:41:15 Yeah. But go check that out for sure. But we get another like, all right, let's work with a villain. We're going to have to be doing it throughout Vision Quest for sure. And the way time slows down for him when he realizes, oh, this is weird. Things are off. There's an earpiece instead of an earring. And there's this instead of this.
Starting point is 00:41:32 And they already get the guns loaded. And then finding out that was just for show in the, trap was actually later on. Like this was good stuff where everything folded into place and just felt well written and well edited too, I guess. Yeah. I love all the vision stuff like when he, well, in the first episode, when he's carrying the kegs, not thinking.
Starting point is 00:41:50 Yeah. That's not good. Take, oh, just one to get up. And then he's like, oh, my lumbar, whatever. And he's using like the technical term for back. That was great. Just little things like that. And then when he meets up at the bar and he's like, I've computed this a thousand,
Starting point is 00:42:03 a hundred different ways. And that I was like, this is fucking. well written it's entertaining because you're thinking oh is this just all in his head no this is how he played it all out and it's like oh yeah he's a fucking computer I was thinking has he always been able to do that
Starting point is 00:42:17 I thought Dr. Strange you had to use the time stone to do all that and infinity more like vision should have been fucking calculating things when he was on the on the stretcher over there our boy vision this is the thing and I hope this isn't the case in this because we saw him get hurt I don't want a nerfed up
Starting point is 00:42:33 vision you know because they had to always do it Someone said there's a reason why Thanos doesn't come to Earth until they fucking backstab him. And because he knew Vision was going to be the real problem out of everyone on Earth. And so I guess that makes sense. So I hope they're not going to nerve him in this show. But maybe his like, you know, they could say that. You know, I would have computed in Infinity War, but I got a fucking Skype.
Starting point is 00:42:58 Was that what it was? A scythe? I think it was a sife. Yeah. I think you're right about that. Yeah. Brutal shit. And he hits a brutal choke slam at the end of that.
Starting point is 00:43:06 scene too in this with when he picks up the pallet and chokes slaves at first i was like if he doesn't care about tommy why doesn't he just fucking kill this guy now but i guess in the back of his mind he does actually he and that's the thing about vision too he's not that vision this and that but he has humanity in him that's why and he still got like again it's like the ship of theseus thing like if you replace all the parts there's still maybe a little bit in there that is the old vision by the way the ship of theseus the fact they brought that back after i think we just we debated that a little bit after it was on Wanda vision about what it is. And I always say KFC used to always write about Sisyphus. Do you know Sisyphuses? Yeah, yeah, yeah. He would roll the rock up the stone. And then it would
Starting point is 00:43:45 fall down and you'd have to do it. And he said, that's what life is as a Mets fan. And I was like, but he also used for a million different blogs. I was like, Kevin, that was your number one literary device was Sisyphus. So I appreciate that they brought, what's the name of it again? Thesius. Thesius. Thesius. I'm getting some Temelechus. Dilemicus for From The Odyssey. Also, how about this? We get a reference to your boy Sparky. Oh, Sparky.
Starting point is 00:44:14 He says, I had a dog who he died. He wasn't really my dog. Tough. Tough to get a Sparky reference in 2026. I was flying so high after that goddamn lantern's call. And I'm like, I do have a dirty little past here with Sparky, who my first Susset. I think I listed him first on it.
Starting point is 00:44:35 too or who was the guy the neighbor like jean or something none of us oh yeah Eugene was it maybe was Eugene poor guy was just clipping his hedges and I was like you're on the suss list bed dog he was given a weird look I didn't need that RIP my dog spark you forever they hit you with that and then they remind you grief is just love persevering persevering oh my god forgot how good a line that was bars they're going to hit us with that a lot I think because that's going to be the thing that like brings vision and Tommy together I think and, you know, because he was the only one in the room when he said it. So he knows, oh, that must be real.
Starting point is 00:45:11 Like, I think all of that is good stuff, very good stuff. What else in this episode? Oh, I really like the Ultron line. When he goes to talk to him before the trap, he says, don't be the ship, be the goddamn king. And then when it looks like Vision is going to die at the end of the episode, the way they loop it back around. He says, long live the king. He's just sitting there with him. He calls Jarvis a good guy, which is another reference to age of Ultram.
Starting point is 00:45:35 people pointed out. I had forgotten that. But that's a pretty emotional scene where they realize he's in an EMP cage. It's a trap. It's tough. The Ultron, it's the end of the world as we know it. And I feel fine. Like that's the kind of joke that works way better with him in human form. That specifically made me make that note. But I like him going to the rest of the AIs and being like, it would be a great time for a noble sacrifice. You know, there's a chance still. And Jarvis is the one as the big brother.
Starting point is 00:46:04 he is always playing the big brother card he decides all right i'm going to be the one transfers his computing processing power to all the rest of them and deletes his code so that's the end of jarvis you do get a lot of tommy in this episode and episode two and by the end he won't take no for an answer like he yes he cares about his own survival but clearly he cares about vision he cares about other people he knows that now that maybe this is my real dad he's very curious about his backstory and he puts vision in the car even though it looks like visions about the die and vision and just fucking leave me, get away safe. He's not taking no for an answer.
Starting point is 00:46:38 So I like both episodes. I would probably say like the episode two even more. I really like the Tommy actor. And I think there's a chance Billy was in this episode. Have you seen the tweets about that? No, no, I didn't see that. So you know, and far from home the way Jake Gyllenhaal and his people are kind of creeping around in the background the entire time? And you're not supposed to see him.
Starting point is 00:47:00 And then it's like, oh, they were like following him on the field trip. But there's a guy, I'm going to pull it up now on my phone, who's in two shots of this episode that looks a lot like the actor that plays Billy in the very background. And people circle them here. It's kind of got the same hair. And then he walks past the screen here. It'll replay. Two separate moments where you see that guy, Billy haircut, kind of similar the way he's
Starting point is 00:47:28 dressing. I think there's a chance that's him. I like that. I'm always down for a little. least rig that you go back to afterwards. So if that's going to be the level of the show we got, which again, from what I've seen so far, wouldn't shock me. A plus work by Marvel, if that's the case.
Starting point is 00:47:43 And like you said, the callback to Jarvis wouldn't have been my first call because that's what all Trump says when he kills him in Avengers. I forgot that was the line. And that's a good line. Yeah. Jarvis is kind of getting the Uncle Ben treatment. I feel it too. We keep losing him.
Starting point is 00:48:00 And listen, he's not gone. we can get Jarvis back if we want to. We know that, right? Yeah, Bobbwick. I sold you. He called Bobby Frick. Yeah, exactly. We need the droid smith.
Starting point is 00:48:14 Oh, Jabba's hair. You didn't see a Bobby Frick. I didn't see that coming, no. All right, that was all I had on the two Vision Quest episodes. The one thing I forgot to mention kind of nerd news-esque that we haven't covered the last few weeks, the Batman delayed again. Uh, that production's on pause. Serious personal issue for Matt Reeves.
Starting point is 00:48:36 Sounds like it's very serious. I'm to the point where I feel bad that we were ever complaining. I know the delays, you know, lasted years. They're crazy delays, but seems like it's serious. Hope he gets that figured out, wishing them all the best. Yeah, I think, um, when they're talking about, you know, private matters and stuff, it's like, oh, yeah, definitely don't. If someone's like, I can't do the script, I'm just having writers block.
Starting point is 00:49:00 It's like, come on, George R and Martin. Dude, what the fuck, man. When people are like personal matters, I think that is, and for like a movie that is an absolute cash cow. Mid production to put it on pause. Like it has to be serious. It has to be serious.
Starting point is 00:49:13 So yeah, there's not even a point to even complain. It's like shit, man, hope everything works out. And, uh, see the other stuff. Like as little, uh, importance as it gets basically. Yeah, it's fucking Batman. We'll get around to Batman. And I did, I said to you, I liked the Robert Pattons and quote, someone asked him about it on the red carpet.
Starting point is 00:49:29 He's like, we're taking a quick pause and we're going to figure. out. Like he was very, the way he went about it felt very like, I'm in Matt Reeves corner. Don't worry about it. We'll get it fucking sorted. I'll get your fucking stupid Batman movie out soon. I can't believe I like Robert Panson. My wife was into Twilight from day one and I can't believe I fucking love this dude now. I did not see that comment. He's unbelievable. What a year he's had. Just one. And even he had a quote this week about the year he had. Someone said like, how do you feel about being one of the best A-list actors of today? And he was very humble about He laughed.
Starting point is 00:49:59 He's like, oh, that's very sweet. He's like, I just, I look at acting as I want to stay employed. I want to keep getting a job. And some years are much better than others. He's like, I've had an amazing year. I'm so grateful for it. It's just, I'm happy to ride this wave. And it's like, this guy, he doesn't even have an ego about him.
Starting point is 00:50:15 He's fucking giggling. He's goofy in every interview. He might be, he might be my one one right now. He might be. He's hot, lava hot. Him Shalamee, Holland, the three of them are just, I got a type, I guess. Man, who had a better year? I guess it depends on Dune.
Starting point is 00:50:34 Well, I guess Patton's in Dune, but then Chalomey does have the Knicks, which counts for him. I know that that does count. Like, yes, Patenton had more roles. Shalema had a role in, you know,
Starting point is 00:50:46 the next playoff run. So I was going to say, he had a role in the bedroom with Kylie Jenner as well. Pretty good. I'm sure. I was rewatching. I rewatched highlights from,
Starting point is 00:50:56 from game four and five on my way to work. the other day. I was just, I was wearing a Nixat. I was just in the mood. I was just like, let's pull up some fucking highlights. Let's watch the tip. I think I saw like the Ann Hathaway clip her talking about the tipping. Let's watch the fucking tip in again. Let's watch every angle of this. Complete of New York. Bob,
Starting point is 00:51:12 you're describing my last four months essentially. It's like, ah, there's nothing going on. I just put in Nix and then I just go off of whatever. I saw you were like literally like the first person to realize they took the NBA champion channel off the NBA channel or whatever. It's only been.
Starting point is 00:51:28 four months the season starting any day now why would you take off the NBA finals champion uh because that was a long time ago bro yeah but i'll i'm gonna probably cue up some highlights now as soon as we're done with this because uh you kind of got the itching me there so shout out but this is because anyone has child uh patins in this bob how does it feel to be like the author of two of the biggest memes on the internet oh i know i think people have talked about that the beggars and the chris hanson like why don't you take a seat yeah you see how you see how that look right. It's so good.
Starting point is 00:52:00 I still want to see that. I know it got mixed reviews, but everyone that gave it even a bad review was like, yeah, Patinson's amazing, and Skyler Gizondo is amazing. He's the guy that played
Starting point is 00:52:10 Jimmy Olson. I just want to see for the two of them. I'm kind of hoping that maybe it'll be on like planes by the time I have to go to honeymoon. I have to go to my honeymoon way I said that. Oh, and also, that means there will be no Clayface review
Starting point is 00:52:23 when that comes out. I'll get to it eventually. When I get back, I'll definitely, trust me, I want to see Clayface. The reviews are amazing right now. Oh, yeah?
Starting point is 00:52:32 Really, really, really good reviews. Yeah. People are saying this is the villain origin movie that all of the Sony Spider-Man ones wanted to be. And they said it's not like they're not doing that cheap. Like, oh, he's an anti-hero. They're like, he is a villain. Which I love. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:46 You can watch and talk about that with Eddie. I will not be going near that theater. Thank you very much.
