The Ice Five lifted the back of a metallic dragon skeleton and unveiled a secret cave behind the lair of the dragon they had just slain. Once going inside, they discovered a hall with magical torches. What is this? Oh, a fake wall in the back of the hall. Let's send Gus in. Uh-oh, Gus is trapped in a vertical shaft that goes down half a mile and ends in a secret chamber filled with glowing blue crystals. Will they touch the crystals? Will they get out of this cave they shut themselves in?

We'll find out now after a brief guitar riff sound. On that note, I have just told you where you are and how you got there. What would you guys like to do as the Ice-5 stands at the precipice of a fake wall, Gus, exploring below? Chris, would you like me to recap a little what Gus saw down there? Sure. So it's about a half mile vertical shaft.

When he went through the invisible wall, he could no longer get back the way he came. There was nothing but four walls all around him, so to speak, but it was more of a cylinder. He looked up and there was another sort of ceiling of rock. He went down about half a mile and he found a chamber littered with bodies that looked like they had fallen down the half mile vertical shaft after going through the fake wall. There are crystals in this chamber.

We haven't gotten too much into the detail of it yet but you had definitely spoken of a theory that maybe you i think you even almost did dismiss and bring back gus and then you had him explore so i'm not sure if you want to what you'd like to do next with gus and then we're gonna eat on the crystal why don't i actually start everybody with the perception check? And can we get some, how about the devils on horseback? That's like the bacon wrap dates, right? Can we get some of those for the table? Oh, that sounds delicious.

then just fall down a pit inches away from the eternal life that they sought yeah if somebody was strong enough in theory if you survived and touched that thing it would turn you into some kind of very damaged into some kind of very damaged but some kind of beholder thing maybe maybe one of those other got out somewhere does not seem like it though because Zetagog seemed to be running the murder

Right now, the chamber is still shaking a little bit, but several large parts of the tunnel itself have collapsed, and all but a couple of the magical torches are extinguished as they're crushed in these rocks. tick tock you notice your eyes kind of focus quickly uh the cave is about as long as you think rafisia the dragon's cave was uh if it didn't have that sliding rock door um there's no uh opening or continuing hallway there's no magical torches it's a very plain cave um it ends about the same place that the false wall was on the cave you just came from and it opens up about as far away as rafisius cave would have opened up you see there are trees not that dissimilar from the trees you left they're kind of in the distance you know outside the mouth of the cave at this point you you're you're a little bit far in the cave um the the main thing you notice though is that this tunnel is straight it doesn't have sort of a bend or a crook in it the way rafisia's cave did so it's a little different um it's strange how everything feels like 50 different geographically and you notice

two long legs kind of lumber past the cave outside yeah legs of one ofs of what? Lamb? You don't know. Giant. But we're in the Feywild now. It's too far away. The cave mouth is like, you know, 300 feet away. So it's too far away to really like gauge what these long legs are. But you can tell the mouth of the cave is probably about 10 feet high. And you only see this thing's legs.

And they're very spindly. But they're just spindly but they're they're just sort of like barely visible as they go just walking by they go past does it seem like that weird watcher thing we saw at um when we were by the river where sam i can't tell you'd have to do something to get a better look at it right now it's too far away do we want to should we secure the cave first? And just make sure we're safe in here? And then what? Rest?
