Starting point is 00:00:00 Jason, those fucking glutes firing or what, dude? How's Squatober going? Just got done with day. I forget what day we're on, but yeah. Got some Zurchers in. It was kind of a deal-load day. I'm sorry, some Zergers. Zerger squat?
Starting point is 00:00:14 Are you aware of Zurcher squat? No, what's the difference between a regular squat and Zerzsche's her squat? You know, front squat is racked on the front of your shoulders, right? Back squat, racked behind your head. Zerer, you have racked in your arms, so it's kind of like even more forward. Ooh. Yeah, man, that's got to be a f***. a hell of a core workout.
Starting point is 00:00:31 Personally, I like doing backswat and zircher. Part of that's because I can't adequately rack a front squat. My elbows and shoulders are all f***ed up, so I can't even do the proper positioning for it. The funniest story I got to tell some friends today was that I got a call at 7.30 in the morning. I knew Jason was doing squat tober. He actually asked me how much weight I have in my basement, 92%.
Starting point is 00:00:56 This is true. I didn't even add it up. I just told him like how much, how many plates I had. And he was like, oh, okay, cool. I'll bring some. So he flew to Kansas City with, what was it, 50 pounds? Yeah, it was 2.25s, yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:10 A couple of extra plates to throw on the old squat bar. And it was absolutely hilarious. The most meathead thing I think I've ever seen Jason do. I get a call at 7.30 in the morning. And in my mind, I'm thinking worst case scenario. I'm like, oh, shit, is everything okay? Maybe you have to run Jason to a hospital. He just blew his knee out or something.
Starting point is 00:01:29 I don't know what. I was worst-case scenario of fire. Like, the brain was just waking up, and I was like, fucking things were firing. And like, oh, you okay? And just like, yeah, can you come, can you go spot me? I was just like, no way. I got my ankle wrapped. He's like, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:01:48 It's a bench. It's not squat. I'm like, oh, all right, cool. Because I wouldn't be able to save you if it was a fucking back squat. No, all right, cool. Yeah, I'll come down. I'm like walking out of the room. It's like, this is fucked up.
Starting point is 00:01:58 I'm just like, no, it would be good. It would be good. Welcome back to New Heights, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, a Wondry show brought to you by Nike. How about I got the C-C's right there. We're your host on Travis Kelsey, my big brother, Jason Kelsey, out of Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Shout out to University of Cincinnati, all our bear cats out there. And you know what?
Starting point is 00:02:24 Shout out to the guards, man. It was a hell of a year. Unfortunately, came up short of the ALCS, but hats off to the raise for a hell of a series. And hats off to the guards, man. It's a fun, fun time following you guys all season, another, another playoff run. And can't get upset for back-to-back playoffs and division champs. But got to keep going. Got to keep letting it fuel you for the next year, baby.
Starting point is 00:02:47 Let's keep this thing moving, though. Subscribe on YouTube wherever you get your podcast, follow the show on all social media at New Heights Show with one as for fun clips throughout the week. And this is where Jason tells you what we got coming up. Well, 92% are going to talk about the Chiefs staying unbeaten in Arrowhead with the charges as well as the New Heights tailgate. that occurred before the game in the parking lot. We were all there in Arrowhead this weekend.
Starting point is 00:03:07 It was a blast. We're then going to talk about the Eagles situation, as well as what's going on with, unfortunately, Jalen Hertz. And also, the rest of the week six around the NFL. Before we get into any of that, we're always going to get into some of that new news. New news is brought to you by Reese's. That's right.
Starting point is 00:03:27 Yeah, so Pat and I, we had some smelling salts before the game. I hadn't done a smelling salt in a long time. That's a crazy statement to start off with new news. Man, does it get the juices going? Oh, go straight to the fucking brain. Hell yes. There's no way it's good for you. I mean, it has to be.
Starting point is 00:03:45 You get the eyes watering a little bit? Of course. Notice who's not doing this. A little coffee. A little coffee. A little coffee. A little coffee. Just a little coffee.
Starting point is 00:03:59 That's a psycho. I love that, too. Yeah. Every now and then you need to just get a good reminder. were playing ball, man. The D-line used to take probably 40 of those things and just like one-by-one put them in a water bottle and then put the top on.
Starting point is 00:04:12 Then you take that water bottle off and say, I mean, it was easily destroying your nasal cavity. You don't even have to put it up to like the brim of it. You could just kind of just keep it right here, right here. And immediately just eyes and just brain activity, just shit's firing. You're ready to rock, get you fired up. I'd usually do it before first half
Starting point is 00:04:34 and before the second half Oh, a little second half I just need one for the first I'm ready to be rock and roll from there Yeah, it had been a while It was a good little reminder I definitely enjoyed it And hated it all at the same time
Starting point is 00:04:47 Isn't that football? It's the best Chosh Allen was chewing smelling salts What's this Brandon? No, he wasn't chewing him He was just holding it in it right here And his teeth I think I think I saw this I think I've actually seen him do it a few times
Starting point is 00:05:01 Yeah, well, he's warming up the arm. He's like, I'm not going to waste it. I'm going to waste it before I go. I'm going to. Yeah, you wait till the last possible second. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Ball player, ball player right there. There's definitely got to be some residual effect, but man, are they great?
Starting point is 00:05:14 God, they're so full. I don't, yeah, man, you can't question it, man. Well, you can't question it. There's probably doctors out there that do, but whatever. I'm playing football. I'm already doing something stupid. It wakes you up. It wakes up.
Starting point is 00:05:27 It's just like a smelling caffeine, dude. That's all it is. We also got a lot of responses for Tomlin's take on team meetings. Tori Smith, one of the top three worst decisions I've made was the call a team meeting. It made the problems 10 times worse. Shout out to Tori, man. Tori is the best. He's one of my favorite teammates I ever played with.
Starting point is 00:05:47 You can tell he's a great teammate, man. The players meeting, listen, we've all done them. Actually, you might not have been done one. You might be the only, maybe they did one in college, but you definitely haven't done one in KC. I mean, here's the thing. It happened with good intentions usually, but I disagree. I think what Tomlin said is perfect. It's usually for optics.
Starting point is 00:06:06 It's like, hey, we're at the point where, like, we've lost all hope. So we're going to call players-only meeting to try and write the ship and get everybody bought back in. And most of the time, it's, you know, I just don't know how much it's accomplishing. I don't know. Philadelphia is probably one week away from a player's meeting. Might happen this week. I don't know. It's, I just.
Starting point is 00:06:27 Yeah. That's, uh, Ryan Pagnetti had an interesting tweet. I was going to say, we have to bring this. It was actually hilarious. It was absolutely brilliant. And to be honest, kind of eye-opening on do they, maybe do they work? They don't not work as aggressive as I thought they didn't. They don't work really in any statistical, significant way, long-term.
Starting point is 00:06:50 Long-term. The way that they potentially work is the first game after a player's team meeting. It does appear that there is some statistical, data to support that first game after a player's led team meeting being a little bit better against the spread like the team performs slightly above what they are expected to do. They cover the spread 63% of the time after a player team meeting. But yeah, great work by Ryan Pegnetti, our senior correspondent of analytics or numbers. That's it for new news.
Starting point is 00:07:26 Brought to you by Reese's. All right now, let's get you some bold topics brought to you by American Express. Ha ha ha ha. All right, Jason. Yeah, you want to start us off with. Yeah, let's do it. Chiefs 22, Chargers, six. Tram, how'd you feel about the game, man?
Starting point is 00:07:45 Man, our defense is flying around right now, man. They are flying around. That's a, I think we had four or five sacks this week. A lot of pressures, a lot of PBIUs. It was just, it was, it was electric to feel the crowd get behind them. There were two or three drives there in the third and fourth quarter. I forget which one it was where you, all of a sudden, I'm on the bench. I hear the, I hear the crowd get rocking at Arrowhead where I had to get up and like start
Starting point is 00:08:16 to get rowdy with them. And it's just, you know, it's moments like those that you just, I just love playing at Arrowhead, man. I love having it as our home field advantage. And they ended up having to call a time out. I think it was when they were backed up on about the one yard line. I think we fell up short as an offense getting a touchdown on fourth down. And they had it on the one yard line. And sure enough, man, I was on the bench.
Starting point is 00:08:41 Like, fuck, man. We got to find a way to get that ball in that end zone. And the crowd just snapped me right out of it, man. And our defense is rocking, man. All the speculation about losing a guy like Trent McDuffie. That's the one that stood out to me in the game. Like I, dude, we talked to mine afterwards. That kid Williams, man.
Starting point is 00:08:59 Noel, no, is a fucking dog, man. And he's a ball player, man. Unfortunately, had some stuff go down where you can't, you got banged up a little bit early on, but fought through it, man. I just love fucking, I love guys that love ball and they're just tough as nails, man. Yeah, when you have corners that aren't afraid to commit themselves and tackle the runnerback and commit to the running game as well,
Starting point is 00:09:23 and are good in coverage, Like those guys are valuable as hell, man. He had that one play. I think they're trying to run like a toss crack or some outside play. And he under, he knifed under the pulling or kickout player. Yeah, and made the tackle for loss.
Starting point is 00:09:38 And then also made a bunch of plays in the back end. Lageria Sneed is back to playing. Really, really good football for you guys. Monsor Delane, like Spags, we should have known. Like it's spags. He's going to get those guys to play really well. But that was a question mark. And they have answered that one for sure.
Starting point is 00:09:52 Nick Bolton had a fourth quarter that out. I don't remember the specific plays outside of that last fumble that they had that Drew Trankle jumped on. But man, it just felt like every single play that a guy on the Chargers got the ball. Nick Bolton was closed lining him or decleting him or just getting a good fucking solid, like smack on him. And it just felt it felt like he was flying all over the place, man. That guy doesn't get enough credit for being the staple that makes the entire engine run over there on the defensive side with him being the signal caller. It's just, you know, it's fun playing with an amazing defense, especially when, you know, we finally get some things rocking on the offensive side
Starting point is 00:10:31 and get some touchdowns. But, you know, we struggled a little bit by self-inflicting wounds and just like small stuff here and there that we got to keep getting better at. And we will, and we will because we're going to go to work. But, man, it's a fun team to play on right now, man, when everybody's getting a piece of the pie and everybody's contributed. What's interesting is one of the areas that were probably the underperformances was like three possessions inside the two yard line, only one touchdown. It's surprising too because typically teams that run the ball really well, they get in the end.
Starting point is 00:11:03 Like that's where you need to run the football. Those windows in the passing game are so tight down there. You're trying to develop like pick routes at any type of way you can get any kind of leverage. But with a guy like K-9, like you would think with the way the offense line has been blocking two, we'd be getting more points out of those situations. We got to keep finding ways to score touchdowns. And it's like you said, it's that short yard. It's not the big red zone. It's inside that five yard line.
Starting point is 00:11:28 We're getting all the way down there. Yeah, we've got to be able to fucking punch it in, especially if Coach Reed's going to put it on us on fourth down. No matter who's out there on the field, that plays called, man, we fucking execute the play and we find a way to grit ourselves into that end zone, man. And that's got to be the fucking mentality. And it will be. Well, you were also given some mentality to the.
Starting point is 00:11:52 rookie Cyrus Allen fellow Bearcat. We got you hyping him up in the tunnel here. Let's play that clip. Oh, pregame, pregame, nice, pregame. Yeah, this is just me saying what's up to everybody before the game? What is this? What is this? It's all good.
Starting point is 00:12:09 It's all good. I mean, it was my guy Cyrus's, I believe it was his first time running out of the tunnel, getting his name called in the NFL, man, which is a pretty cool fucking feeling. And I sure is held, you know, relish in it every time I get the opportunity to run out in front arrowhead and get introduced. So I was just going up to him to ask him if he's got anything for the crowd. He was going to give like, I don't know, his signature move or anything cool. And he was just excited to, you know, ready to play football and get the opportunity. He knew that we were going to have to lean on him a little bit in the passing game. He got two, two receptions for 27 yards,
Starting point is 00:12:45 one big one after we had a penalty there. And I believe the third or fourth quarter. And yeah, man, I'm just, I'm happy for that guy. He's a hard worker, obviously a bear cat, a fellow bear cat, but who he's been in the building has been awesome to see him just transform into, you know, being somebody accountable to go out there and help us win ball games, man. That's right, baby. He was accountable this week, two for two, 27 yards, made the most of his opportunities. Kenneth Walker, also pretty accountable.
Starting point is 00:13:13 Nancy Careers for 128 yards, two touchdowns. I think he average, like 6.7 yards of carry. Let's take a look at his first touchdown. Give 9 the ball. been saying that shit since he came into Kansas City. Kelsey is in. Walker gets out of it. I mean, completely dead.
Starting point is 00:13:32 Pause it right there. Chiefs are trying to encounter. And it is just blown up the tackle. Who is that Benson? He kind of gets pissed on the backside. I mean, we got, we got some, what is it? Some defensive push there on just about every gap right there is just logged up. The problem is there slant in the front.
Starting point is 00:13:51 and Benson, I don't know if you knew it. Go back to the start. Let me see this. Let me see this. If they can tell that the guard is pulling, sometimes it makes it hard on that gap seal funnel block by the tackle. That tackle's got to go down there and try and prevent that guy from getting. That gets penetration.
Starting point is 00:14:05 Everybody else is getting knocked back to him. His play is fucked. I think the movement kind of fucked up a lot of guys on this one. It's a miracle that he got in. But this is why you pay the guy all the money. There you go. The guys got crazy instincts, man. It's plays like this where it's like we have what it takes,
Starting point is 00:14:19 even when, you know, they got us. We still have what it takes and the guys to be able to find a way to get the ball in the end zone. We just got to keep doing it. How about Patty Bahomes right there
Starting point is 00:14:29 throwing a little shoulder? I mean, yeah, he probably doesn't score if he doesn't do that. All you need. We go, Pat. And Kevin Harley giving me some love for blocking.
Starting point is 00:14:38 I didn't block a soul, Kev, but I love you, man. Thank you for that. The DN, Knife the tackle, Creed's getting, they must have been slanting hard on the backside because those guys
Starting point is 00:14:45 didn't look like they're ready for it. Anyways, whatever. It's a touchdown. Let's see the second touchdown. Hopefully that one's prettier. Exactly same play. Trey Smith. Oh, I love it.
Starting point is 00:14:57 Oh, it's so good. Trey Smith on the pull. And that is a big son. That is a mean man, 5-2 that he's pulling at. The blitz and a DB off the end of the line. And usually the end is spiking so hard. It's impossible for the guard to kick it out. But Trey Smith meets this thing head on with Khalil Mack right here, play it.
Starting point is 00:15:14 And he makes this play. Because that end is, he's trying to spill it. Like if the end gets under Trey here, the ball is going to spill right to zero. who's on the end of the line. Trade has a great job of maintaining hat placement and fitting this thing outside. Actually, I'd like I's had a little bit more inside, but either way, I'm not going to knock it that much
Starting point is 00:15:33 because it's effective. At the end of the day, man, you hit a guy hard enough. And then he gets the pancake on top of it, a little bit on top of himself, too. You know, it's hard. I mean, it's hard to tackle somebody with a body when you're on the ground, baby. Cade are with the ability to separate, man.
Starting point is 00:15:48 Trades been playing great. Kingsley. I know he was suspended last week, came back, had a good game this week. Hell yeah. When you have a back as good as Kenneth is, like as good as Walker is, it really makes you feel like you're going to be successful as a block or two.
Starting point is 00:16:03 Oh, yeah. Like that energy, it's not just like because he's running hard. It's because no matter what you do, he finds a way to make you right. Like I just knew when I was pulling out and I had shady or Darren Sprouls behind me, it didn't matter what the linebacker did. If he went this way or this right,
Starting point is 00:16:18 exactly. And like Walker just has that kind of feel where it makes you more, confident as an offensive lineman. And those guys are playing great as a result as well. The biggest thing that's been crazy is how much the chief's offense have shifted, right? Like, you did it the first game, but it stayed consistent right now through these first six weeks. What went into changing how the chiefs have been their identity all around one player in Kenneth Walker, Trev?
Starting point is 00:16:44 And don't get me wrong, the offense is, it's still a very similar offense. It just kind of tweaks over the years just in certain, in certain things. scenarios yeah i would i would i would the playbook doesn't change like a lot of these plays you guys are running you guys have run that's that's what i the but the identity is different you guys are more under center than you've ever been you're running more than you've ever run like it i it is a different offense of what's being called but that's one of the beautiful things about andy read is all of it's in the playbook and he's going to call what is the best suited to the guys that he has available or what he thinks is the best suited for it so exactly and and and to be honest
Starting point is 00:17:23 dating back to when we had a guy like Jamal Charles back in my early years in my career. A lot of under center, a lot of downhill outside zone that, that, you know, highlighted Jamal's ability to get downhill and weave and make the cuts that only Jamal Charles could make. And a lot of this is putting Kenneth in a position that showcases his talents. And it's just, it's great run game coordinator. Coach Heck is unbelievable. Obviously, BNAMI coming from.
Starting point is 00:17:53 coming from Chicago and under Ben Johnson, I'm sure has only made him even more of a piece in the run game in terms of creating it. And week in, week out, we're getting opportunities to not only run off the ball as an offensive unit and see how we're going to attack guys and do that in the run game, but then, you know, have passing plays within that, you know, those formations, that complement those.
Starting point is 00:18:23 run games that are really opening things up for guys like Xavier worthy to have an unbelievable day. Guy like Jalen Royals have a great day and Noah Gray have a good day. So it's like it's just complimenting it and making us a really all around, you know, kind of just feels like it's a more in sync offense than it definitely was last year. So it's fun to be a part of it. And it's fun to see all the new success that we're having knowing that, you know, a couple guys went down and, um, and and Kenneth being his first year here in Kansas City. I just think, too, like, Andy is such a matchup-driven coach. Like, he's very good at finding pieces that he wants to do certain things on the football field.
Starting point is 00:19:04 Like, what, not just what they were doing with Kenneth Walker this week, but what they're doing with Savior Worthy, right? In years past, what they would do with Tyree Kill and what they would do with Hartman. And, like, they, I feel like Andy always is trying to run an offense that's skilled and suited for the guys that he has. Right. And now that they have that piece and they feels like they wanted to go get that piece because they felt like they were missing it, he's putting everything around them. And that's opening things up like you're saying for all these other guys to then make plays off of that. So I think it's awesome.
Starting point is 00:19:35 I really do. We got a LeBron stat since 1970. Only two players have scored multiple touchdowns in four of their team's first five games of the season. That is a Lebronstadt. That is a Lebronstad. and that is Calvin Johnson Jr. and Kenneth Walker the third. Nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice. 2011 for Calvin.
Starting point is 00:19:56 Travis, you might have a LeBronstad as well with four catches from yesterday. Travis reached exactly 1,100 career regular season receptions, just the seventh player ever and only the third tight end in NFL history. Ooh. Yeah, I played for a long time. Mahomes also tied for fastest. quarterback to reach 100 wins. Tide Tom Brady.
Starting point is 00:20:22 Wow. It's a good guy out of tie. He's a pretty good winner. Went to a lot of football games. Yep. Holmes post games said the struggles last year, put football in perspective and reminded him to just have fun when he's out there. Let's take a look at this link.
Starting point is 00:20:35 I mean, last year to me put just football in perspective. Like, we've played in some, we had played in so many Super Bowls. And especially those last few, it's like we kind of, I don't want to say coasted, but we didn't play our best football in the regular season. And we just turned on the playoffs. And even last year when stuff wasn't going right, I was like, we're going to figure it out. Like, it's just going to happen. I think today, for me, it's about the process.
Starting point is 00:20:57 And having to go to that rehab process and not play football, it's really made me enjoy the process of it. And enjoy practicing and enjoy just being in the building and getting here game day and getting to play at Arrowhead. And so I try to have fun out there and enjoy the wins because you never know when it's going to be your last one. And you want to take advantage of every opportunity to get to step in the field. And so I think last year in general put everything. and perspective for me to just have fun when you're out there. Yeah. I mean, I get it.
Starting point is 00:21:24 I just think I always would have like, you know, coaches like, man, we just got to go have fun or like just enjoy the moment. It's like, if we're getting our ass kick, it ain't going to be fun. I don't know what you want you to tell you. Like, fun is directly correlated with whooping somebody's ass. Like, if you're getting your ass, you're a psycho-cating. There's nothing more infuriating than losing and seeing teammates happy and go lucky and just like. And I've been there. I've been I'm like listen I'm a glass half full glass is always full kind of guy and you know I've had to catch myself like man we got to get back to the fucking drawing board man yeah it's just it's it's it's a shitty feeling when you lose man and I think that that that that sour taste in our mouth that that you just heard pat Mahomes talking about right there everybody in the fucking building felt that you know and it wasn't just you know the players and coaches man it was everybody in the building and um
Starting point is 00:22:18 I'm just glad that, you know, we took the necessary steps and took the necessary mindset to be able to not get caught in that mode and to find a way to enjoy the game of football the way that we know how. Chiefs head to Seattle for the Kenneth Walker Homecoming rematch game. Not even rematch, just the game for, obviously he won a Super Bowl there. Last year was Super Bowl MVP. Now in the Chief's uniform Ciox fans were at Arrowhead this week. apparently do you know this trip i did not i did not know this
Starting point is 00:22:51 no way that's great that's great no way seattle is a place uh i don't know if i've won in seattle it is a tough place to fucking play man you go up there that northwest with those 12s flying around man and especially this year's team they always have a good defense this team is they got a little bit of bully ball mentality it's a tough team they fly around kind of in your face all the time especially on the defensive side and we know how good Sam Darnold is and Jackson, Smith, and Jingba. And I got nothing but a ton of respect for them.
Starting point is 00:23:29 And obviously, Cooper Cup, our guy, a friend of the show, they're three and three. The defending champs three and three, they're going to fucking be pissed. You know, if they're not already, they're going to be coming, they're going to come out. And we're going to have probably our biggest challenge already to date. and we got to go to work this week, man. We got to figure some things out. Really, you know, down our eyes and cross our T's to make sure that we're fucking ready for this. And, you know, I'm excited for the challenge, baby.
Starting point is 00:23:59 There's nothing better than playing the best or playing the team that won at last and getting an opportunity to really challenge yourself and the guys around you to go up into a hostile environment that we know Seattle is and get a win, man. Yeah, I mean, listen, it's a very difficult place to play. There's only two teams that I didn't beat in the history of my career at you have. Do you know the two teams? Seattle. The Steelers.
Starting point is 00:24:25 The other one is going to blow your mind. But it's an AFC team, which I only played like three times, I think, but not the Steelers, no. Browns. It is the AFC North. We did beat the Browns. No, we beat the Browns. I was there. It's got a, there's only one team left then.
Starting point is 00:24:42 Well, there's two, but. The Bengals. Bengals are the ones. Wow. Never beat Cincinnati. That's wild. Best, best, well, we only played them like three times, I think, of my career, but best we ever did was tied them. Ew.
Starting point is 00:24:58 I know. I know if that was my last year or second to last year, but yeah, tied Cincinnati and never beat Seattle. Had a chance my last year. And honestly, I'm the reason we lost because I've freaking moved the ball a little bit forward on a quarterback sneak and they called a false start. That was that game. It was that game.
Starting point is 00:25:15 We were pretty much, if we were to score that drive, it would have ended it pretty much. Don't be so hard on yourself. Honey, thank you to our presenting sponsor Nike. The Caitlin ones, did it just drop? It moved. That's right. That's the CC effect. She fills arenas.
Starting point is 00:25:34 She breaks records, and she's building something bigger than the game itself. Real question, when a guy subs himself out for a water break, is it really a water break? What else?
Starting point is 00:26:27 I'm confused. What else would it be? A Reese's break. You're gassed. You hit the sideline. Someone hands you a cup of water and Reese's. Okay. Which one are you reaching for first?
Starting point is 00:26:37 I mean, that peanut butter chocolate delight that Reese's peanut butter cup every time. That's what I'm saying. Pay close attention this season and you may realize everything happens for a Reese's. Thank you to our partner, American Express. For fans who love football, they'll travel

Eagles 14 Panthers, 25. Panthers are playing some good ball right now, man. What are your thoughts on the game, Jason? Obviously, the Eagles are not a good football team right now. They're not playing well.
Starting point is 00:28:25 The defense is doing good on their side of the ball, even though it wasn't their best game, but it's like they, they're being put in so many tough situations week after week at this point. You know, offensively, they're just really struggling to get any type of rhythm. And I get, like, listen, they're playing with their fourth string as a starting center. The third string center is playing left guard. their second string centers hurt.
Starting point is 00:28:43 Their first string centers in Baltimore. Their left guard is out. The right tackle retired. So now they're playing with a rookie right tackle. Both their starting running backs are out. Their third, fourth string running back is out. The tight end missed substantial time. The star receiver, Devonte Smith, has been out for quite a bit.
Starting point is 00:28:59 I mean, it's, and now the quarterback's out. I mean, to say that Sean Mannion has been dealt a very difficult hand would probably be an understatement. Yeah. Chris Cooper, the offensive line coach, like, you know, it is. so hard when you have guys in and out of the lineup up front to maintain the cohesion and everybody on the same page necessary to achieve in the run game and to be a good unit. And it's very difficult when guys don't have the reps together, aren't communicating together and don't have that kind of like feel of what another guy's about to do.
Starting point is 00:29:34 And, you know, they've struggled. And that's the biggest thing. Obviously, I'm an offensive lineman. And, you know, there's the blitz pickups. So it's not just the offensive line. You know, the running backs being involved in it, the quarterback, adjusting it when necessary. You're getting to plays.
Starting point is 00:29:48 It's zero blitz or what are the adjustments? The play actions, there's guys been running free. And I know that there's been so many injuries, but at some point we have to see a progression of things getting better. And I just, it doesn't feel like that's happening. First play of the game, Tanner McKee is trying to send a guy in motion to the left. It looks like he forgets that the motion is supposed to come to the other side.
Starting point is 00:30:12 so halfway through the tight ends moving over here and then he realized, oh, then he starts motioning and this guy over, then he's alerting it, the line is looking confused, and then the right and left sides of the line run into each other. They're both going the opposite way, and a linebacker and a free safety come unblocked on a play on a play at your protection,
Starting point is 00:30:27 and it's a sack for like 10 yards. First play? First play, Travis, the one that we know that we're starting the game with for over 24 hours. Like, and don't get me wrong, I've been a part of, I've jumped off. of it. I've jumped all sides in a dummy cadence. Not even, there hasn't even been a play.
Starting point is 00:30:46 Like everybody's had it, but there's just, there's been a recurring pattern. And eventually, man, I know that there's been so many guys in and out. But you have to overstay communication. You have to make sure the one thing we can't have when backups are in the game is guys not doing their assignments, not being on the same page. Like all of those things have to be at a premium because we're playing with guys that typically don't have the physical traits that the starters do. I get that it's a hard situation.
Starting point is 00:31:15 I get that the coach has been put in bad situations with all the injuries and guys in and out of the lineup. But it has to be better than what it has been. And it's on, all these guys need to be throughout the week. Overstate the communication. Overstate where we're going. It's been a very frustrating game to watch the last three weeks.
Starting point is 00:31:34 And two of them, they should have won. Like, they were right there to win. Yeah. So it's, you know, it's,
Starting point is 00:31:41 It's a frustrating time to be an Eagles fan and watching this team right now offensively play football. Yeah. The biggest story around Philly outside of the struggles on the field is obviously Jalen Hertz. Jalen Hurts, starting quarterback, and a terrifying situation from afar. I'm hearing about what he's going through.
Starting point is 00:32:07 not really understanding, you know, what that world means in terms of blood clots and things that are going on with him health-wise. It just all sounds very terrifying. And I think we're all rooting for Jalen to get as healthy as possible ASAP. Yeah. The Eagles have finally came out with some statements. And we're starting to kind of get caught up on things that the protocols that were taken and things that have happened.
Starting point is 00:32:38 The Eagles have had one statement. They've released a sheet, and that's kind of what they've stuck to. They really haven't offered, and it's like Nick Siriani did a press conference yesterday. I don't know what he did on the radio or anything today, so maybe this has changed, but they're really sticking with the statement that was released by the team and Jalen Hertz's representatives. Listen, people just want to answer it because I think this is obviously a very serious situation. people want to know that Jalen Hertz was received the adequate and responsible medical advice
Starting point is 00:33:10 and precautions given the circumstances. And there's questions. And I think the media is doing their responsibility by asking these questions. I think fans obviously have a desire to know, you know, what all went in place to, at the end of the day, put Jalen Hertz in a very serious, scary position of having blood clots. now being out for the full year. So understandable that the fans in media want these answers. The Eagles are sticking to this statement,
Starting point is 00:33:39 probably because they want to make sure that they are saying everything correctly and in the appropriate way. Nick Siriani did say something today, it looks like. I didn't see this. What's it say here, Triv? Nick Siriani today said, you can say a lot of things about me, but what you can't say is I don't care about our guys. You aren't around every day to truly understand that,
Starting point is 00:33:58 and you only hear our words. but ask our guys. Listen, I am not a medical doctor. There are a lot of other people that are not medical doctors that are offering perspectives on this that I think is a little bit negligent into assigning blame or assigning malpractice or assigning whatever.
Starting point is 00:34:19 Like, there's a lot happening right now. If there's one thing I will vouch for, I'll vouch for Nick Siriani and this, and I'll vouch for the doctor, like the doctors that I know that work with the Eagles treated me phenomenally in my time in Philadelphia. I don't know what the proper procedure is. It does seem like the Eagles followed a protocol for superficial blood clots,
Starting point is 00:34:44 and unfortunately this thing developed, whether it was a result of Jalen playing in the game, or whether it was a result of these flights. I have no idea. Now, it looks terrible because of what ended up resulting. The one thing I wish would have happened in hindsight is I wish they would have done a scan after the game because it does appear like the thing that really had a major impact in this is the
Starting point is 00:35:06 flights like that does appear to have an impact with everybody because you're sitting there you're not moving the pressure has some way of it like affecting the the blood flow and all this other stuff the matter of fact when you have these blood clots supposedly if they're not dangerous they advise you being physically active like it's supposedly good because you want your blood to continue moving you don't want it clotting more or whatever Regardless, I just wish there was more medical doctors speaking on this with actual evidence and understanding of it. And I know it's different for each case.
Starting point is 00:35:42 Like it matters where the blood clot was, how big it was, how close it was to these other arteries. And at the end of the day, it developed into something that in hindsight, nobody would have wanted this to get to this point. So it looks bad. And I feel for Jalen Hertz. I mean, this dude has been a warrior in Philadelphia. Absolutely. And for this to be, you know, what it's gotten to is terrible, right?
Starting point is 00:36:05 It sucks. I don't know if the protocols will change moving forward. Maybe the medical community has learned something from this. I have no idea. But I do think and know that the medical doctors that I know in Philadelphia, I have always trusted them and I would still trust them. And I do know that Nick Siriana cares about his guys deeply. That is for sure. I can't even fathom this happening, let alone it happening overseas.
Starting point is 00:36:36 You know, him having to leave the hotel the night before to get some scans done. I mean, this is just, this is, it's crazy stuff, man. And Tom Pelliserro released a report about like the sleep in 36 hours and then he retracted it. I, I, I, it feels very hard to offer any type of legitimate critique or, you know, backing of what happened because you just don't know the details. Well, do you want to at least, uh, we can speak from kind of just the player's standpoint of, um, and talk, talk through the, to the 92 percenters about how medical testing is done. Maybe not this specific type or how self-reporting.
Starting point is 00:37:25 injuries can happen in the league. It's very seldom that I that something happens in the game and I have to come back a couple days later to report it to the team if they didn't already know about it during the game. Yeah. You know, and that's that's always a little eye-opening, I think, from the doctor standpoint, you know, because it's something that, you know, maybe snuck up on somebody or it's it's something a little more serious than than the player thought during the game. And that sounds like what the initial cause of this calf injury was for Jaylen. Well, yeah, the initial cause was the week before. Right.
Starting point is 00:38:07 He was cleated. And he noticed some pain in his calf before the flight. They flew. He got the ultrasound. And that's when they found the superficial blood clot. It was then advised by the doctors in place. I don't know which doctors. It's just saying doctors.
Starting point is 00:38:20 I don't know if these are team doctors. of these are experts in this specific field, advised that it was okay for him to play the game and to rescan 72 hours later. And it seems, depending on where the blood clot is, and it's, you know, where it is located in relation to other major blood vessels or whatnot, that that is a standard procedure. And I was calling the game.
Starting point is 00:38:45 Like, there was something very weird happening before the game. And the fact that, you know, for warmups, Jalen didn't come out right away for warmups. Like he got added late in the week to the injury report for the calf. And I remember thinking that's weird like to be added this late. Like typically you don't see guys added that late with soft tissue stuff. So I made a note of that. And then all of a sudden before the game, he's not coming out for warmups.
Starting point is 00:39:08 I'm like, man, this calf might be more serious than they're letting on. Like maybe this is something like it's a legitimate injury. And then before the game, he wasn't even out there for. the national anthem. No way. The entire other, the entire team was out there. And we're in the,
Starting point is 00:39:27 the producers are in our year saying like, yeah, Jalen Hertz isn't on the field. I'm like, what is, what's going on right now? This feels very strange. So,
Starting point is 00:39:37 man, it felt weird before the game. They didn't do a lot of quarterback runs and a lot of like tush pushes or anything. They did none of it. And I thought of my head, I'm just like, maybe this calf injury is bigger than they're kind of making it out to be.
Starting point is 00:39:50 And then a couple days later, they kind of let loose with all this stuff. And I'm like, oh, my God. I wish they would have rescanned him after the game to see if the blood clot had moved as a result of football. Because right now, because they didn't do it after the game, they did it after the flight with the way it's developed. No one knows did this move as a result of him playing football or did it move as a result of the flight? Right. And like if it was removed, if it moved as a result of playing football, is there a different procedure that should have been followed? And in the future, is there a different way we should handle these things for players so that they don't develop into like occurrences like this?
Starting point is 00:40:33 It does, like for most of the medical people that I've seen talking about it, they do say that it's, it's rare that if this was in a specific spot and the way they handled it, that it would develop. to what it developed. I just, it feels like if they would have just had that one scan after the football game, it would have made the decision of playing him clear of whether that was the cause of what moved this blood clot. And then we would know whether he should have got on the flight back home, all of these things.
Starting point is 00:41:04 We have this question in the rundown, I think. Yeah. How much say do players have and whether they play or not? I think to an extent, something like this from what i've been in in kansas city the doctors have always been more on the line of caution and not playing if it is a serious case in terms of soft tissue stuff things like a rolled ankle things like that like that aren't like as detrimental or could possibly be you know a bigger injury or something like that that's life-threatening
Starting point is 00:41:43 I think they'll kind of let the player give his intake a little bit more and kind of persuade. But at the same time, I can't remember a time where it's something serious and a guy is being forced to go out there and play. Usually it's the complete opposite, what you're saying. The precaution becomes like significant. Like if you have a broken rib, they won't let you play because there's a chance, if you have a fractured rib, they won't let you play. there's a chance of that rib could break and then puncture an internal organ. If you have like a neck fracture, like or a neck like small thing, they won't, they don't mess around with like spinal things, anything with the heart.
Starting point is 00:42:28 Ryan Clark, like Tomlin came on. Last week on this show and talked about they wouldn't let Ryan play in Denver because of the sickle cell trait and the fact that if he had started bleeding something severe, could have happened at altitude. So that is typically the way I've always seen the doctors in Philadelphia handle things and around the league. Orthopedic and like having a knee or an ankle or shoulder, things that are not life-threatening. It's more on the player of like, hey, this is where you're at. It's kind of about how you feel. If you want to go, you can or, hey, we don't think you should go. That's completely different. This stuff is like,
Starting point is 00:43:11 usually, usually they do not clear guys unless they feel very, very confident that it's not a life-threatening thing or something that could develop into that, which is why this is so crazy, because it's like, you know, it did develop into something that is life-threatening. I think in terms of the, are there independent doctors who weigh in or it's just team doctors, it's got to be more than one, especially in a serious matter like this. Now, you bring up a good point because, like, with something this serious, you would think this would be a secondary opinion deal from Jalen's team as well. Like, you know, most very severe injuries at this point in the league, players will get second opinions from other medical doctors and orthopedic people. It's almost like your agent just naturally does that.
Starting point is 00:44:01 Like, like, anytime I got like something serious, J.B. Jason Bernstein would be like, hey, we're going to send this to, you know, Dr. Millett because he knows elbows or short. shoulders or whatever, hey, we're going to send this to that. So I, it is, this whole situation is, you know, horrible. Like obviously, you know, Jalen is out for the season. He's out for his extended period of time. And more importantly that, this was something that could have turned into something life-threatening. And thankfully, from all the indications that are coming out now, it appears like
Starting point is 00:44:34 everything is stable. It isn't life-threatening. He's going to go on the blood thinners now. And it should be something that he recovers from. they're saying. So all of that is outstanding news. And I think the thing that everybody
Starting point is 00:44:47 should be happy that he's going to be okay. But yeah, I do understand the desire for more answers and people wanting to find out what all went into it and wasn't handled properly. I think that's only natural. So. My hearts and our minds are with you, Jalen, man. Hopefully you get healthy as soon as possible, man.
Starting point is 00:45:07 This is just a bump in the road for you, brother. We got a tweet from, Parkinson, Mike's, Jay. Jason, we Eagles fans need your honesty desperately. All right. The NFC East is very winnable. It's very winnable still. It is.
Starting point is 00:45:24 It is. Listen, the NFC East is winnable. I don't think the Eagles fans or Eagles are going to be happy winning a bullshit division that everybody sucks in and sneaking into the playoffs. I think that, you know, the Eagles, from what the expectations were coming into the season and where the team is, think want to be competing for shoot bowl's like I know I'm not going to be happy if the eagle
Starting point is 00:45:45 sneak in with like a 500 record and make the playoffs because Dallas, Washington and the Giants fucking shit the bed. But what if you get healthy throughout that 500 record and all of a sudden the playoff you finally get things clicking? Well that's the different thing. And that's what they're asking. Is the season lost? Like listen, it is not good right now. But there are guys that are going to get healthy. We're going to get Saquan Barkley back. We're going to get take Biggsby back. We're going to hopefully this offense line with more reps. Well, Devont de Smith was back this week.
Starting point is 00:46:15 Hopefully with more reps with the offensive line, they will be getting a better cohesion and will be on the same page better. I think Tanner McKee, obviously, in his first start, had some good plays, didn't play great, had a lot of pressure at times. Hopefully he can continue to develop a new rhythm now with Jalen out for substantial time. So listen, the defense has been. playing pretty darn well outside of the Chicago game.
Starting point is 00:46:41 And when you have a great defense, you're going to be in games. If they can get this thing going just a little bit better offensive. They don't even have to be a top-tier offense with the way this defense is playing at times. Just don't put them continually in bad spots. You know, I think that the Eagles can be absolutely turn this around. Now, with every loss, it gets less and less optimistic. but you know I still think they have good players in that building and you just got to like listen
Starting point is 00:47:13 it's going to take work it's going to take these coaches these players everybody coming together to continue to take care of the things that are controllable the first play of the game guys going the wrong way that shouldn't happen and that should be the emphasis that's and I know it is I know Nick is going to be in the team meeting saying this is unacceptable take care of the little things like assignment proper technique everybody being on the same page that is half of this thing Even the offensive line, like, listen, guys are going out and battling. There's worse offensive lines from a player to player standpoint in the league right now. It is really, a lot of it is just like a guy here not going the right way.
Starting point is 00:47:53 A guy here kind of getting undercut by the linebacker. Like the running back not being accountable on this play. Like not knowing where the play action guy is with the tight end slicing back. Like, it's, that's. That's what's frustrating is like it does feel like a lot of it is correctable. But at some point, unless it gets corrected, you continue to lose faith in it. So the optimistic side of me says like, okay, just take care of the little things and the offense is going to be functioning at a much better level.
Starting point is 00:48:25 The side that is growing that is pessimistic is like, well, why aren't we fixing these things? And I get that there's guys in and out of the lineup and that creates it harder to fix those things that we're talking about. Yeah. But, you know, that's what you need. We need to see improvement in that area, desperately. As fans and as people watching it, and the Eagles need to improve in those areas as well.
Starting point is 00:48:47 One of my favorite sayings by Coach B. Enemy is you've got to give yourself, we have to give ourselves a chance to have a chance. It's such a football, like. No matter which way you say it, right? Yeah. But it's literally, you've got to be able to do the little thing. that you know you can control like Jason's saying. The formational stuff, the, you know, the assignment stuff.
Starting point is 00:49:14 Are we going to the right people? Do we have the right technique? How can we control what we do to give ourselves the best chance? And you'd be surprised if you just give yourself a fucking chance, how good you can fucking be in the league. And I know last year when we were struggling, we weren't giving ourselves a fucking chance. I was the fucking first one dropping passes that were right in the
Starting point is 00:49:36 fucking bread basket. Yeah, we've all been there. And it's, but that's what I'm saying. And it's things like that that you just got to find a way to, you know, fix those things, correct those things. Change the fucking routine Monday through Friday. Change what you're doing. Change how you're watching film.
Starting point is 00:49:52 Change how you're working on, you know, your footwork and practice. Do do something different and extra to try and find the, the flaw and fix the flaw. I know this. when you have guys in and out, or when you're, or even when you don't have guys in that, when there are issues like what the Eagles have been having,
Starting point is 00:50:11 I am going to overstay communication. Like, I am going to make it obvious. I don't give a fuck if the defense knows, I don't give a shit. I want to make sure that the fucking right guard and right tackle know where they're going. So I'm going to fucking tell everybody, I'm going to fuck this guy knows it to D slip.
Starting point is 00:50:27 I'm going to tell you, deslip to 50 fucking two. Don't fucking run around him and let him undercut you because they, fucking have done it on film. I'm going to tell the fucking quarterback, hey, this is the point, and the quarterback knows who he's hot off of. You tell the fucking receiver. Hey, side adjust. If this guy comes, fucking turn it into whatever. There's,
Starting point is 00:50:48 dog on, dude, you're going to be the hell of a fucking ball coach when you want to, man. Whenever you sign up for that fucking opportunity, dude, you're going to be a hell of a ball. Well, everybody's going to hate me. Belichick 2.0. You'll be the fucking. Once you've been around for a while, you just know, you know, like, when there's been something sitting around. Like, there's a disturbance, right? The snap guy has taken.
Starting point is 00:51:13 I don't want Belichick to feel like he wasn't loved. Everybody loved playing. I don't think Belichick gives a fuck. Tuchay, touche. All right, let's move on. I don't know. I don't even know if I want any of this in there. Fuck this.
Starting point is 00:51:26 Fuck, man. Thank you to our partner, Tyson Chicken Nuggets, baby. Game Day snacks. can make or break a watch party, and honestly, you shouldn't overthink it. The New Heights team ate a lot of them at the Chief's tailgate, with the Chiefs Nuggets brand new. Do you know that? Chiefs Nuggets? It's an Arrowhead. No, I see it.
Starting point is 00:52:10 That's an Arrowhead. I get it. Arrowhead. Ooh, Chiefs Nuggets. That's what I'm talking about. So, whether you're hosting or just hungry, grab Tyson Chicken Nuggets on your next grocery run. Always Bin Tyson.

Federal regulations prohibit the use of added hormones or steroids in chicken. Thank you to our sponsor, Colgate Total. On offense, it's important to prevent problems from the moment the ball is snapped. That's true. Otherwise, you're just out there running cardio.
Starting point is 00:52:45 Can't get open for a big play. But it's not just football. There's a lot of things you need to prevent before they start. Yeah, like in your mouth. My mouth specifically? I mean, probably yours too, but I'm talking everybody's mouth. There's bacteria in there that can lead to oral health problems like cavities, gingivitis. Right. Yeah, all the nasty stuff.
Starting point is 00:53:10 But the good news is you can prevent these problems before they start with Colgate Total Active Prevention. It's like having a good offensive line for your mouth. Starting point is 00:53:44 Get Colgate Total on Amazon today. Thank you to our partner, Royal Caribbean. So we've been talking about Royal Caribbean's Legend of the Seas, the biggest vacation, sailing out of Fort Lauderdale this November. What about the ultimate family townhouse? Bro, it's three stories. No way. That's right.
Starting point is 00:54:05 There's a movie theater in it. There's a slide that drops two floors in a private gaming room. Love that too. Who had that growing up? Nobody. That's not even a kid's dream. That's my dream now. 16 spots for live music.
Starting point is 00:54:20 16. Swimup bar, piano bar, jazz bar. There's so much going on. You literally can't make it to everything. And that's a good problem to have. And you need to check out. Playmakers, Sports Bar and Arcade. Man, that sounds like my kind of spot. They're showing every pro football game this season. That's your game day headquarters right there. You got to get the
Starting point is 00:54:40 family on the new legend of the seas sailing November 26 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Visit royal caribbean.com to learn more. Let's get to the rest of week six. There are still three undefeated teams, Travis, the chiefs, Vikings who had to buy this week, and the Niners, who almost lost Washington County. almost came back in one night. Yeah. You got to see that one firsthand. It was all Niners in the first half.
Starting point is 00:55:03 Washington kind of mounted somewhat of a comeback attempt there late. Winless are the Dolphins and Chargers, thanks to partly the Kansas City Chiefs for Cuban the Chargers. Unwinning, unwinnable, unwind, unwind? Winless is better. Winless is better. Titans got their first win of the season against the Colts in probably the most, like, impressive winning way.
Starting point is 00:55:26 Colts immediately fired GM. Chris Ballard, do you see this? The Colts were really, they were in control of the game. And then it really was like three possessions back to back to back where they had a, I think a fumble. Then they had a punt return that was huge. And then they had a blocked punt for a touchdown. The punt return team won the game for the Titans, which.
Starting point is 00:55:43 I bought it, man. Special teams doesn't play a huge factor. All of a sudden it's winning games. Jacksonville against the Eagles last week. Titans this week. I love it when special teams gets involved. Fuck, yeah. Dan Patrick said they are looking at Peyton Manning, but who knows?
Starting point is 00:55:57 Peyton Manning, GM, Peyton Manning. What do you think, Treve? I mean, yeah, if they can get them. I would tell you. Are you fucking kidding me? Teaming up with Peyton Manning in the football world? Why the fuck wouldn't you? It worked one time.
Starting point is 00:56:10 And one of the most brilliant fucking football minds there are. Yeah, it just seems like he's buttoned up in everything in life. And, I mean, him being a GM definitely fucking fits them old. I had heard that they were going to try and get him to help with, like, the search of the gym. I did not know they were actually looking at him. But yeah, I mean, I don't think there's a chance of hell Peyton takes it, but if he does, that's a no-brainer. That's a big job, man.
Starting point is 00:56:34 It's a big job. And he does a lot of stuff, obviously, with ESPN and Omaha productions. So who knows if that's something that's appealing to him, man. Hopefully Carly-Earsay is working the phone lines, that's for sure. What else we got? More surprised by the Rams losing to the Cardinals, Rams are two and four Cardinals or four and two. So are we more surprised about the Rams being at the bottom?
Starting point is 00:56:57 bottom of the NFC West or the Browns being atop the the AFC North. Ooh. What's more surprising? I think the Browns. I think the Rams. Dude, the Rams were supposed to win the Super Bowl before the season. Like they had the they had this monster team.
Starting point is 00:57:13 I hear they're both surprising. Yeah. And don't get me, don't get me wrong. Everybody's still in like this thing. You know, it's two and four and only six games in, but in the entire season ahead of them.
Starting point is 00:57:24 But at the same time, if you would have told me the Rams are two and four, at this point or the Browns were four and two, I would have been like, dude, the Rams having a losing record six games in, I would have never guessed. I would have never guessed either of them. I agree with you.
Starting point is 00:57:37 I think the Rams being two and four is shocking. Last time the Browns were in first place in week six or later was week 10 of 2014. This is why, dude, I think the Browns is more surprising that they're four or two and that they're atop the AFC North. I just like, after the first game especially, I did not think the Browns might win one game.
Starting point is 00:57:59 Like they looked atrocious in that first game. I hear you. And listen, we've found out since then that Jacksonville is just a really good football team. But I just don't think the Browns winning this year was on anybody's bingo card. All of the drama between Shador Sanders and DeShon Watson, who's going to be the quarterback, the way the defense looked at first week, Miles Garrett leaving. Todd Monkey was under a lot of criticism. People talking about him getting that job to be.
Starting point is 00:58:27 begin with. I think it's an incredible testament to Monkin and what the Browns have been able to do since then to be at the top of the AFC North. Now they, listen, they beat the Ravens yesterday who didn't have Lamar Jackson, like, whatever. The Browns have been overachieving by quite a bit, and I did not see that happening. There was no vibe to me that that was going to happen whatsoever. I got to. Rams are still third in offense. They're third in defense. They're the first team, I believe, is top three in offense and defense and has it started off the year with a two and four record or something like that what as there was a top three their top three offense and defense that doesn't make any fucking sense at all here's where it makes sense is the turnovers some crucial
Starting point is 00:59:16 penalties like they've just done a lot of their kicker that they've cut was like what five for nine thicker the kicker whatever his name was they've done a great job of killing themselves this season so far. But they're still a good football team. Right. Unfortunately, they just lost Devante Adams for six to 10 weeks, which is going to fucking suck.
Starting point is 00:59:39 They still have guys like Puka and... Well, here's the reality. The Rams should be running the football more anyways. Like, that's one of the reasons that they're struggling is they aren't fucking committed. They're getting yardage in the run game and they're just going away from it. I don't know what they're trying to do, but it's not great. Yeah, the Rams
Starting point is 00:59:54 are ranked third and total offense third and total defense this season only team to be ranked in top five and both. They are two and four in the last place in the U.S. you watch. Holy fucking shit. That's crazy, man. Well, speaking of Rams kickers, you talked about them replacing their kicker that was started this season four, five and four thicker the kicker or five and nine,
Starting point is 01:00:15 thicker the kicker. Well, they went out and got a guy and he got absolutely smoked and did make it past the game. We probably shouldn't be joking about this because he got hurt on this play, but. Ah, yeah, he did. Didn't he tear his ACL? Respect the kicker whenever they want to go in for a hit. I will say, you got to throw it in between the wheels spokes there. You shouldn't be going up high, groupie.
Starting point is 01:00:37 You got to go, you're like ankle biting at that point, right? We got to know our size, our speed, our strengths and weaknesses. But I respect the fight, bud. For sure. We want to talk about anything else in week six? Bears gave up the jumping jack variation of the quarterback's team. Did you see this one? I have not jumping jack.
Starting point is 01:00:58 Yeah, baby. Let's show this one. Up by 8, 246 to go. Third one. They go, we're going. What is he saying? To see it. Why the fuck did he?
Starting point is 01:01:13 Go back to this. Let me see it from the beginning. Up by 8, 246 to go. Third one. What does he say? Do we know? So the only reason that I can. concede that you would do this.
Starting point is 01:01:27 And it's interesting. So one of the reasons we would go tackle over in short yardage quarterback sneak situations is because, Trav, as you know, when you move a tackle and go unbalanced, right? So go back to the posit at the beginning of this when it's behind view. Pause it right there. Right now. So 79 here is the one that's going to go in motion to the right side, which is going to put, we call it unbalanced. There's going to be three offense alignment to the center's right.
Starting point is 01:01:53 And there's going to be one offense alignment to his right. left. So the line is stronger to the right side. And what defenses do to adjust to this is they call it one over. They're going to treat the right guard like he's the center now because that is the middle of the strength of the offensive line. So all of the defense alignment are going to move according to the new. That's usually what they do. They did not do that here. But one of the reasons I liked doing this in these situations is what defenses want to take away. in quarterback's league situations are the A-GAPs, right? On either side of the center,
Starting point is 01:02:31 because the quarterback is usually going into one of those A-GAPs. Well, if they move over one player because the tackle has moved over, now the A-gaps for the defense has changed, so you might free up an A-gap because you've gone one over. And if teams don't adjust, you do what Caleb Williams does right here, and he just goes to the stronger. So he's not going to the left here. He's going to the big edge behind Darnell right and some Mayam Mountain Dean people over here on the right.
Starting point is 01:03:02 So I think it's a pretty good design. I think he's waving his arms probably to try and get them almost to go one over or to just distract them from the fact that a sneak might be happening. Right. That's the other thing is like just kind of dress up a quarterback sneak, make it look a little bit different so they're not selling all out on it. I think teams should go back to running sneaks like this rather than telegrams. graphing it with the tush push. I think the 49ers do a great job of it where they motion use check and sometimes he'll go push.
Starting point is 01:03:31 The problem with the tush push formation is if teams have gotten so much better at defending it and hunkering down in those agaps, you get better advantageous looks when you just run it out of a normal formation like this. Like if a team lines up in a bare front with a head up nose, we should be able to sneak this and get it darn near every time. Every time, yeah. It's when the both the A gaps are occupations. where it becomes very difficult.
Starting point is 01:03:55 And if you line up in a touch push formation, you're going to get that alignment. So anyways, just something I'm keeping an eye on. I was like, I might be on board with going back to how we used to do quarterback sneaks. Anyways, Ravens lined up tight end, Josh, however you say that, was it, Quavez? Cuvis. Quavez. At guard, but off the line of scrimmage, so he was eligible.
Starting point is 01:04:17 Let's take a look at this. Have you seen this? I have not. Yeah, he absolutely fucking missed a mic here. Bink? Oh, my God. Gosh. He took off.
Starting point is 01:04:25 I love it. Pretty good way to hide it. It's creative, I'm sure. The Browns have not. I've not been working on that one. I mean, that tight end set them up on this fucking perfect. It looks like they're running outside zone to the left and he's got the mic and it's
Starting point is 01:04:38 almost like a lead like a strong lead and he just hit him underneath. It was, I mean, that's a hell of a move. It's almost as if the backer, I don't know, the backer's eyes were just in the backfield. It seemed like he was like playing him at first. I think it's what you're saying is, and this is, you know who else does a really good job of this is George Kittle? And this goes to like the way you run routes. You always say like, I'm not just going to run the line on the page, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:05 I'm going to set it up and go to the space or whatever. George does this a lot. I've noticed too, you know, when you're running a naked and you have like an over route, some guys will just run the overrout. But I'll see George sometimes. He'll like make eye contact with the player that he would be blocking if they were running. power or whatever to that side. Same eyes. And he'll almost like duck himself, get his hands up, and then slip by him. And that's what this looks like. Like how does the mic know whether this
Starting point is 01:05:36 guy's going to block me for outside zone? And if he's going to block me, I got to try and beat him over the top. I got to get to my gap. Yeah. Yeah. And then all of a sudden he slips him. It does look like it kind of has that feel. Like he looks like he's running a outside zone blocking line and then getting off into this. I don't even know. I mean, it's kind of like an overrout, but you're doing it from inside. Yeah, it's an overrout. Yeah. It's an overrout, but you're doing it from like the A gap, which is kind of fucking weird. But really cool design. This is awesome from Baltimore.
Starting point is 01:06:09 Trab, you want to play a little guard? Let's get you a guard. Man, I'll play whatever you need as long as it's, as long as you're giving me that overrout, I'm in. Yeah. As long as you're getting me that backer or giving me that overrout, I'm in. Do you see the Jim Nance peanut punch with JJ? This is pretty good. I did.
Starting point is 01:06:29 My guy, Lance jacked his fist up, man. You don't realize how hard that fucking thing is. It looks like he's messing with it, but also like kind of knowing Jim Nance, I don't think he is. I think he's probably being serious here. JJ demonstrating the class pan technique. Yeah, he gave it a good punch. He gave it a good punch. He did.
Starting point is 01:06:48 No, you can see it on his face. That was. It hurt him. It was legit. He was like, why did I just do that that hard? Why did I hit that so hard? I know in this guy.
Starting point is 01:06:59 Like, JJ, if anybody's got the best ball security of the world, JJ's biceps and fucking, like, hands, how big that dude is like,
Starting point is 01:07:07 a lot of points of content. There is no, there are no, yeah, there's no weakness in that ball security. So JJ's demonstrating right there what we call the class pan. Go back right there
Starting point is 01:07:16 to when he's got the right hand over it. This is interesting to me because the way I was taught growing up and I wonder how many people watching this. You used to be taught the full, I'm trying to think of like what the full cradle. Like what did it used to be called?
Starting point is 01:07:29 Five points of pressure. No, but you used to be taught. This was where you held the ball when you were in the open field. When you got into traffic, get two hands on the ball. And they used to grab like both points like this. And that would be the position what they used to teach way back when. Man,
Starting point is 01:07:44 I've never in a fucking million years ever grabbed the ball like this. Well, when I played fullback in middle school, that's the way you were taught. If you go back and watch old clips, that was the way they thought it was more secure. I know that's how you received the ball. I know that's how you receive the ball. Go back and watch fullbacks and people in the file. It was what used to be taught. I hear you.
Starting point is 01:08:09 But it's not as good. You actually have some space because you still can get this ball away from your body holding it like that and it can still go down. so now they teach the classpan, which is you get that thing here. You have it's contacting the bicep, the hand has the claw on it, the forearms touching it. It's against your body. And then all this arm does is just pulls it in to make it a little bit more secure so it doesn't separate. Because that's when most of the time when you fumble and tell me if I'm wrong, Travis, it's when that ball just gets away from the body just a little bit, right?
Starting point is 01:08:45 Yeah, it's either away from the body this way. or you open the back gate so that the ball can now get punched out that way and go down. So that's why you really want to pin that elbow and keep that thing. They call it chin in the football. You just want to keep that thing right here. That does it for bold topics brought to you by American Express. Let's get your little out of the house. Who doesn't love that?
Starting point is 01:09:12 Came out to Kansas City. Out of the house is brought to you by Nike. and Nike was part of the reason Jason was in Kansas City. Jason, you want to tell people how the new heights tailgated arrowhead was? It was awesome. Listen, we had a huge trial. It was packed, traff. Was it packed with pigs?
Starting point is 01:09:28 Did we get pigs? We did that cleared in the short time frame, maybe next time. Maybe next time we can get some pigs in there. We had a knockout area with the basketball hoop. We had some long snapping thing. I think we need more space than we're allotting for that if we're going to do that kind of stuff. It was very tight. Kansas City, they'll start to, you know,
Starting point is 01:09:49 pack the gates to get into the tailgate the night before. Like, they were not fucking around with tailgate. And the space is definitely limited right around that area of the stadium. It was packed. And it was very, it's prime real estate, too. We were really close to the stadium. It was, it was awesome. It was a lot of 92 percenters were there.
Starting point is 01:10:09 A lot of people with swag from throughout the years. It's cool seeing, like, you know, the old green hats or stuff from, early on being referenced. Like it was, it was really awesome seeing a lot of the people, especially the guys and girls that felt like they've been 92% for a long time. There are people from all over the world.
Starting point is 01:10:26 A lot of Canadians. I don't know what that was about. Do you know there's so many Canadian Chiefs fans? Shout out to Laurent Duvarnet Tardif, our Canadian right guard. Yes, the doc. Dr. Laurent. Man, I haven't talked to my guy, Larry, in a minute, man.
Starting point is 01:10:44 I'm sure it just like is typical sports fans. I'm not sure if Larry's the sole reason they're their Chiefs fans. But yeah, who knows? A lot of them did claim to be Swifties, so that would also track. Well, there you go. Yeah, she's got some fans up north. How many Chiefs fans have been added because of Taylor? I mean, I will say this.
Starting point is 01:11:08 I have a lot more people coming up to me. expressing their like not necessarily their love for the chiefs but um they're um what am i what words am i trying to use travis use your words expressing their stories of them and their daughters having a moment of watching football together and that has been um undoubtedly the majority of people that come up to me that talk football just off the street. So I get a lot of thanks for that, which is pretty cool. I didn't have that one on the card when I started date and take, let alone Astor to marry me, but it's been pretty cool to see the influx of Chiefs fans,
Starting point is 01:11:59 you know, outside of all the Super Bowl appearances and all that. Well, they were out in droves at the 92 percenters tailgate at Arrowhead. we had a couple tweets brand you want to pull those up what are these tweets oh yeah look at that snout what does it say if only I could transport my piggins to the tailgate I so would I mean look at this face look there is something about a pig that is just adorable what plus they taste delicious look at that snout that is adorable you're hilarious I think I don't know I'm kind of the pigs look at the pigs are a great animal
Starting point is 01:12:37 That's where Washington went wrong. They went with commanders once they switched from Redskins. They should have gone to the hogs. They fucked that up so bad. Should have gone pig skins? Hogs. The Washington pig skins. Any of that.
Starting point is 01:12:49 All of those would have been better. Oh my gosh. I don't know what it is. I'm just not in on pigs, man. Well, this is a pretty gross one. Oh, they're just sleeping. It's me, the pig lady from the Mother's Day episode. Oh, nice.
Starting point is 01:13:03 I hear there is a request for pigs. Dude. hashtag skin children I don't know what that means well listen yeah we like we said we played knockout we had a snap competition how's our knockout game nowadays Jason I haven't seen that since probably
Starting point is 01:13:18 I didn't play I didn't play I was not gonna be good though I was bricking to start throwing up some shots but the uh the contestants were not very good either it was pretty atrocious knockout oh you should have got in there man got some got some legal interference
Starting point is 01:13:33 some legal interference you know I'm talking about yeah As soon as the first shot goes up and it hits the, and it hits the rim. Yes. Yeah. I am using my ball to hit your ball. Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:46 Whoops. No, not even whoops. That's all purpose. That's all fair game. My book is knockout. There were some prizes given out. We gave out some Caitlin Clark ones as Nike was the official sponsor. Some fine contestants walked away with some incredible shoes.
Starting point is 01:14:00 What else do you give away some merch? There were some awesome shirts designed for the tailgate itself. A little snap competition? You guys out there snapping? That was one thing that, again, because those ones were terrible at, I think I would have gone 100 for 100. I mean, it was the easiest snap competition of all the time. I think they might have hit like two.
Starting point is 01:14:17 It was something crazy. It was not great. We've seen you in a snap competition before, Jason. Would you have gone one-handed again? This would have been, I mean, it was like a five-yard snap, so I could have done this one-handed. Nice. But I was going to.
Starting point is 01:14:28 DJ Donna played Ghostbusters for me. So we got little Ghostbusters karaoke. chucked a beer with someone who had a fantasy football punishment. They lost, so they had to chuck it. They're losing punishment was to chug a beer with me, which I certainly obliged. Oh, no. We were also doing some no-dum questions with the crowd. If the crowd deemed it accurate enough, you got a beer.
Starting point is 01:14:52 We did some shots from all over. If you made a shot beyond the sticks, you got a beer. So we were having fun. It was a good time out there at the tailgate. And we got another one. We're doing in Philly in November. What do we want to do at the next one, Trav? What do you think?
Starting point is 01:15:08 What would be fun to do? What's some good Philly stuff, man? I mean, obviously you did the belly bucking last year. Belly bucking last year. It was a banger. Do you go, do you remember having the blow-up sumo suits at like a county fair? Oh, my gosh, yes. That's always a banger, man.
Starting point is 01:15:31 seeing people, seeing two brothers put on a big sumo suit and see who can push the other one out. That's always good. The jousting we used to do at the county fair. Stuff like that is always epic. I will say some of these, so this is our third one will have done. What's noticeable at the tailgages, we don't get as much space as I would like to do these kind of activities. So the belly bucking is like very tight. then the like the knockout and the snapping competition is not a lot of room to do not enough room to really do that in a meaningful way so like it's got to be something that you can do in space and you don't have to worry about the surface so that's where the sumo one starts to give me concern you can do like an eating competition that might be electric um like a pie eating competition or you got to eat the pie without your hands there's got to be something what's a what's a what's a what's a what
Starting point is 01:16:27 It's a December, it's November. What's a November Philly pie? Well, November pie just in general would be like pumpkin pie, right? But I don't know. Philadelphia could do like a stocks, a stocks pound cake eating competition. That actually might be electric. I kind of think that would be good. I mean, cheesecake is like the, it's like the, obviously you're going to do a cheesecake eating competition.
Starting point is 01:16:52 So like what's something we could do? It would be a little bit different roast pork eating competition. or a stocks pound cake eating competition. I love cheese steaks. I think the cheesecake is too stereotypical. We got to do something more creative than a cheesecake. There's more things about Philadelphia than just cheesecakes. What about, did you ever try the who can climb the grease pole?
Starting point is 01:17:13 We haven't done it. I mean, they do do that in South Philly. That would be electric, but I don't think we'll have the space for that. And probably some liability of things that might limit the ability to do a grease pole climbing competition. But it would be fun to just put a grease pole in the center of that motherfucker and a prize at the top of it. gets to the top gets to keep. I put $10,000 at the top of the grease pole. And if you can get to the top of that, motherfucker,
Starting point is 01:17:33 you get to keep it. That's a electric. That'd be great. Either way, we'll think of some fun ideas for the November Philadelphia Eagles tailgate. And all the 92%ers out there in the Philly area are the ones going to that Philadelphia game in November. If you got any suggestions, you know,
Starting point is 01:17:51 we're always open ears over here. Oh, yeah. Well, once again, out of the house. It's brought to you by Nike. All right, let's see this top 10, Brandon. Let's go with the top 10 here. We're going to start in Baltimore. Kyle Hamilton.
Starting point is 01:18:06 Good player, good player. Good player. Heard his name before. I can play some ball. Sean Watson on the roll. He'll throw short at all. Oh, my God. That's, man.
Starting point is 01:18:22 That's football right there, baby. How are we feeling? Kyle Hampton on the stop. I mean, we got to. I mean, it's good. We got a Sean Watson, man. I mean, come on. Also, I mean, the running back, we got to, we can't just be falling upfield, not
Starting point is 01:18:40 knowing who's there. I actually had a very similar situation in our game like this. And it's, I mean, when you get, you get absolutely smoked out of nowhere like this. It'll wake you up real quick. For sure. We got to just, you know, just have. a little bit of awareness. We got to know what's coming out here right here.
Starting point is 01:18:59 When we're hitting this flat, we got to know Kyle Hamilton's. He's out there. He was there when I last put my head around. He's probably still there. That's what I'm saying. Kyle? We got to catch that. And don't get me wrong.
Starting point is 01:19:12 You still got to catch the ball. You just don't want to be leaning upfield, not looking upfield. You want to kind of stop that momentum upfield, turn around, and like find the best case scenario to give him. That's a big hit. But I think we got some more. big time plays. I can say seven.
Starting point is 01:19:30 I was thinking seven as well. Okay. All right. We're going to go to Giants Saints, Arville Reese, using an O-Linman to make a tackle. The ninth play of this,
Starting point is 01:19:40 New Orleans drive. Hiller. Oh, shit. Just kind of hits him with his left shoulder and throws him to the side. You know, hell of a play.
Starting point is 01:19:57 Hell of a play. It is. It is. It's shout out. And fellow Clevelander or at least went to high school at Glenville. So I'm a fan of them. I'm a fan of them. What are you throwing, Jason? I said, I said the last one. I'd say nine. Yeah, sounds about like a. It's a good play, but it's a good play. Not a top play, I guess. All right. We're going to go to Jags, Texans, tight end, Nate Boyerkerker. One-handed grab. He is Borkature. Borkature. Nate Boycature. Boer? A boar? Nate Boer. I believe that's correct. I know.
Starting point is 01:20:34 On the first try. Thanks to editing, first try. Trevor sells it perfectly. Let's give MJ Stewart to save a little bit of credit. Now that's an impressive play. With a guy hanging on him. And it's not even like a, it's a full on like secured catch. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:56 That's what makes it even a more. wrestling with the one-hander. What do you think? What are we putting it? Five? Yeah, we give a five. One-handed catch is a nice one. I think we got some more juice.
Starting point is 01:21:06 I think there's another one-handed catch. So it might have been more of a highlight. All right. We're going to go to Tennessee Colts. This was the, oh no, this is an interception on Tennessee Colts. This is a toe tap interception. We'll keep it himself. And on the move, throw.
Starting point is 01:21:25 Oh, no way. he got his toes in he tapped him he tapped him the state and bounds stayed in bounds I did not see it I mean that's good concentration that's good concentration right there you know you don't always get a toe tap from a DB man you don't always get the toe taps from the DBs that's solid right there that's a solid top tenor right there I'll give it a nice six you don't think that's above the one-hander I think that's above the one-hander all right four Four. All right, four.
Starting point is 01:22:01 You guys are hedging now. You're hedging the top. All right. We're going to go to Arizona, Los Angeles. This is a scoop and not score on the two-point conversion. Oh, damn, Maddie. Yeah, big fella. Oh, you got to trust that you don't have the speed. Oh, he tried the last second spin. God damn.
Starting point is 01:22:29 He should have lateraled it, though. Why are we not? I'm not going to lie. I'm not going to lie. We got to get, we got to get, we got to get, we got to get, we got to get these sprinting spectators, body on body right here. We got about five Arizona defensive players right here, not getting a body on a body. Not doing shit. God damn it.
Starting point is 01:22:48 That's what I'm saying, bro. Fuck. I hear you about the ladder. It's there. That's, I know me personally, I know. Travis is throwing that rock. to go 70. I don't got the speed to go 70 in my day anymore.
Starting point is 01:23:03 I'm going to probably wait until I'm down field a little bit further to lateral it. Like we're going to get this train rolling before I throw it. But I mean, it's still a pretty athletic move to be running full speed. I mean, he looks good. Big fella is
Starting point is 01:23:19 doing great. What's his name? I don't know this. L.J. Collier. L.J. Collier. He's looking big L.J.J. feet. I can speak from a big man's perspective ain't no fucking way i'm ladder on the ball if i get a chance i'm fucking this is about my time i've been watching you fucking dickheads with the ball enough i'm like the coach is on back oh it's an offensive lineman just bat the ball down
Starting point is 01:23:43 don't pick it up and run with it and i'm like i'm picking that i'm picking that bitch i've been running with it if i get a chance you're going to see a highlight actually yeah i'm either going to get my knee blow out or i'm going to score a touchdown because this never this is never Fuck, man. I'm not going to say that can't be one way or the other. That can't be either this or that. Where are we putting him? I'll go eight.
Starting point is 01:24:05 Okay. We're going to go back to Tennessee, Indianapolis. This is the blocked punt. Now this is fucking electric. The Titans. They have blocked the Sanchez kick. And that's a Tennessee Titan touchdown.
Starting point is 01:24:21 You want to talk about tackling a guy with another ball carrier. This guy basically blocked the punt. with the P. Like, buddy got destroyed. I mean, Jesus. Babushka.
Starting point is 01:24:37 This is the on-field car crash that makes football football, man. Just shit is happening. Bodies are flying. The ball is do-d-d-oom and then starts fucking flopping around. The double...
Starting point is 01:24:50 The double thumb, man. It's one of my favorite sounds. It's fucking electric. I mean, that's a fucking great play. And it pretty much won them in the game. It won in the game. Fourth quarter. I think this is two or one, man.
Starting point is 01:25:02 You block a punt to win a game. That's fucking one. I don't know. I can't think of both the top of my head. And you hurt the fucking punter. Brandon could put it in here. That's better than that. Is it one or two?
Starting point is 01:25:11 One? Let's go one. Fuck it. Let's go one. You got to give the special. One? I can give that. That's a respectable one.
Starting point is 01:25:18 All right. One in the game. All right. Well, there's a lot of time left on that clock. They dwarf through the PPP. Listen, I love the violence. Don't get mad at me. I love the ones. I'm just saying I kind of know what's coming. I feel like there's another one on here.
Starting point is 01:25:30 The fucking PP looked like we man. Fuck. It's not we man. It was we man when they put him on the um, god damn it, the airbag seat. You guys remember that one? When they put me on the airbag seat. Jesus. What do you, if you get launched like that, does anybody say anything to you afterwards on the sideline? No, they're all talking about it, but they usually don't say anything to you.
Starting point is 01:25:56 Does that come up in film? Do coaches show that? Oh, they're definitely going to bring it up in film, for sure. I'll be the first one to come up and be like, yeah, you guys see this? You guys are going to want to watch that on film. I'm breaking the ice right now. Dude, I just got fucking thrown.
Starting point is 01:26:14 All right, we're going to go back to the London game. Travis Hunter playing without a shoe. Nice, nice. Smart. Smart. What can't he do? There's the slant over the middle. Get loose.
Starting point is 01:26:28 Travis Hunter. That's a hell of a move. No shoes. I'll tell you what, man. He plays football like he played this game. This wasn't just the only play that was this. This is insane, dog. This is an impressive fucking play without a shoe.
Starting point is 01:26:48 No shoe. Like he full on breaks and tackled and stiff arms a dude without a cleat. That is incredible. Like right here. makes that guy miss stiff arm to fucking Alshy's that like what the fuck the move off the line was the crazy was the fucking nastiest move too I it's three or two man that's a good play watch watch up top right here watch number three yeah and then watch you see the tight end right there go hands up hands up yep gosh you remember when you used to just be able to fucking destroy that dude
Starting point is 01:27:33 I really hate that you can't crack back people. I think it's the dumbest thing. But that's not even like the real like, that's like you're going upfield in a sense. But you can't be going outside in and do it either. It sucks. As long as you don't hit him in the helmet, you should be able to fuck that guy's life on.
Starting point is 01:27:53 All right. All right. That's right. I can go three or two. Three or two. I go three. That was epic. That was epic.
Starting point is 01:27:58 All right. We're going to keep it moving to Buffalo, Las Vegas. we've got Josh Allen making shit fucking happen yeah you're right you're right
Starting point is 01:28:09 I don't know this is I mean this is two yeah this is this is this is a shit have been one this is fucking insane what this dude
Starting point is 01:28:18 just does here who oh yeah I mean what the fuck is that the fuck is that Look at him just smiling. You guys see that?
Starting point is 01:28:31 That only happens when you take a smelling salt right before the play. Man, you got to have some fucking cohontas to throw that like that. That is wild. We've seen the five-yard pitch like that. We've never seen the 15 yards downfield over, over two guys. Yep. This should be one. It's going to be two.
Starting point is 01:28:56 Yeah, 100%. But it's sure you. Josh. Sorry, Josh. I was watching our guy, Chris Berman's fastest two minutes. And I could just, I had already seen this highlight like 10 times already. And I could just feel the wolf coming to whoop. I could just feel it coming.
Starting point is 01:29:16 And he fucking. It was so epic. Six and 10 are open. The hardest part of the segment is the counting. For sure. That's why Aaron's doing God's work by. Aaron's doing God. Aaron,
Starting point is 01:29:30 thank you for paying attention in school. Shout out Aaron. Shout out Aaron. He counts 10, folks. Shout out Baylor University. Baylor University. Let's go, baby. Keeping them educated down there.
Starting point is 01:29:43 We're going to go with, we're going to go back to, no, sorry, new game. We're going to go to Eagles, Panthers. Oh, boy. Oh, my goodness. And the flags fly. This isn't a play. No? This is a vetoing it.
Starting point is 01:30:02 I'll veto it. I'll go 10. I mean, I'll veto it. Do we have another two plays? We got a bunch of kids. It's a good. He's a good play.
Starting point is 01:30:09 It's a good play. That's what we were trying to do offensively, a little upset that nobody was saying Dijo. You got to know this is a scenario where you might get a hard cap. With the point, we're going to veto this? The point makes me like it less. Even more fair. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:30:24 I like the point. I like the point. All right. We'll keep it going then. Smooth cat. It's a smooth cat right there. We are going to look at Rams.
Starting point is 01:30:35 We're on a little pin and pull. Please watch the blockers. Ooh, this is my kind of action now. This is what I'm talking about. Oh. 72. Getting on the horse. Pin and pull.
Starting point is 01:30:51 Get the fat guys out front. Did we get anybody's on the ground? Yeah, we got one on. Oh, yeah, we did. You got the mic on the ground or one of the on-deggers? I can respect that. I like, I like fat boys running. I like that.
Starting point is 01:31:03 It's definitely at best 10. Look at him getting up field. Look at him getting up field. It's a well-bock play. If he would have scored, if he would have scored. I wanted him to house it. I wanted him to house it. All right.
Starting point is 01:31:15 Not, even with a score, that's a 10. Yeah. They blocked, they blocked a run play. Top play. They did their jobs. They gave themselves a chance to have a chance. We're going to go to back to Bill's Raiders. Trey Tucker,
Starting point is 01:31:38 laying out. Let's go, man. A little UC Bearcat action. Let's go, baby. For those just joining us, here is Cousins. Heaving it toward the end, son, the man of stand. No? Wow.
Starting point is 01:31:54 No. You're kidding me? This is incredible. That was fucking nasty. I thought Jason's reaction was of not. No, my reaction was why the fuck wasn't this one? Like,
Starting point is 01:32:06 if we went to vetoed the, the off sides thing, this wouldn't even have been fucking shown? Listen, you get what you get, Jason. Yeah, this is what makes it the blind rank.
Starting point is 01:32:19 God damn list. We did. Drey Tucker, baby. Shout out to me. Six. That's a good six. that's a bad six that thing should have been way high
Starting point is 01:32:31 what would you put it ahead of I put it above Borkasure I put it above the toe touch that toe touch yeah this is probably two this is three three or three yeah well we blind ranked
