And immediately when you popped up, I was like, I know this type of guy right here. I got to watch him. But why I was excited about this episode, and I caught up last night. I didn't watch when Maul went on one of the most passionate rants I've ever seen.

Only you and Drake can get Maul to scream the way that he did. does. That's a sick combo. It's Clay and Drake. You make sense. Clay and Drake. Your passionate rant about Love is Blind was similar to the Drake and Kendrick thing. But only because I was, Clay, I thought you and AD, I was like, you and AD, I was like,

they're going to make it. Yeah. I was like, yo, I liked them together. The chemistry was dope. You want to love to win. You also thought Drake was going to win. This seems like this is going to be a great story. Yeah, yeah. I saw a spin-off for y'all. Yep. I saw all kind of shit happen. And then we get to the last

episode. And then once you're at the last episode in Wedding Day, I'm like, oh, they made it. It's kind of like if I'm in the lead in the race, the only way I lose this is if I fucking tear my hamstring right here in the last fucking 500 feet. So I'm watching it. I'm like, it's going to be a beautiful day. AD looks great. Family is there. Your mom and dad

is there. You're talking to you. Your dad is a character. First of all, he needs his own show. But, um, so I'm like, okay, this is happening. So I'm kind of like... Right when your dad said, you're proud of you, I was like, I see where he gets a sickness from. I'm like, I'm proud of you, son. Like, wait, what?

And then your dad, your dad does this thing that all like, shout to your pop. Shout to your dad, man. The dad does this thing, like, we all have an uncle. You say he spoke speaking riddles, right? Yeah, like he speaks, like he gives you something, but you got to kind of figure it out after he walks away from you. Like, what the fuck did he just say?

Got to the wedding. Yeah. I didn't expect that turn to happen the way it did. I didn't either, man. Yes, you did. Now, I didn't. You didn't decide on the altar.

Now, I won't say that. When I spoke to you in the DMs, you did say, yo, I really was in love with AD. Yeah. And I really thought I was going to go all the way with it. And then just the last minute, it was like, I got cold feet, man. I got cold feet, man.

It wasn't nothing of me trying to respect AD. I loved AD, man. I think AD is an amazing person. And I think she's going to be an amazing wife. I got nothing bad to say about AD. She, any guy would be willing. She's like she's cool. She cool as hell, bro.

Any guy would be lucky to have AD. Bro, it was just a process. It was six weeks of me. And I've been in a show, I think I articulated that I was struggling with the fact of being married this quick. It wasn't about AD. It was the timeline of it. It could have been anyone.

And I know people like, well, you signed up for this show. Well, I ain't think I was going to make it this far. You know what I'm saying? So, you know, when, and I articulated that to AD, when I got to the altar, I thought that there was a possibility that I could marry AD. I thought about the possibility. I'm like, yo, we would have a good life. We have a good relationship.

You know, at the end of the day, even though I don't feel like I'm ready, let me just say, yeah, just because I know this is a girl that I can rock with. It's a good person. It's a good person. You know what I'm saying? But then it just kind of came down to it, bro, like, bro, I just feel like if you're about to get married, it's my life. I got to be 100% in because, you know, Lord knows, bro, I got my flaws, bro.

And, like, I don't want to disrespect a relationship just because the public or people or I'm feeling like, you know, what, I'm doing this experiment. Let me go ahead and get married. I came to the altar, and honestly, it was a conversation I had with myself that, bro, I'm just not a guy right now that's a one-woman guy right now.

Like, I just, I got to be honest with myself. You soup, that's you. That's very young to be married. It was unfair watching the show because I knew the outcome. Mm-hmm. But I did think how, how come no one noticed certain red flags?

You were on a beach in DR and ordered hot soup. I was like, red flag. As soon as you finish... As soon as you finish the soup, you told A.D., like, y'all don't really know if this is for me. That's editing. What was in that soup? That's editing and Roy, man.

Come on, man. Nobody noticed his own energy change after... You were like Alicia Keys ordering hot chocolate and fish, like, right at the diner. Things changed when you order weird things. I will say, though, in that scene, I did feel like you was trying to, like, allude, because you kept saying, I don't want to let you down. I don't want to disappoint you.

And that's like, guys know what that means. It's like, I'm thinking I got shit in my mind where it's like, am I really going to go all the way with this? Yeah. So I feel like in that moment,

you definitely was feeling that. But again, you didn't want to, you felt like, you know what, I probably could do this. This probably could work. We probably could go all the way.

But at the wedding, though. Yeah, 100%. Like the family's there. Yeah. And I respect it In a crazy way I respect it because at the end of the day is you getting married

And it's AD getting married Not you know families can be there And all of that We know people flew in I understand that part of it But at the end of the day Once that is all over with You have to be married

was a week before the wedding. They gave us a week off. Now, I'm in tech sales. I was telling you I'm in tech sales. I had to go, I was, I had to close this deal. I was about to get, I was about to put on a performance plan if I ain't close this $2.2 million deal.

So honestly, the first two days, I wasn't even, like, worried about the wedding. I was like, I need to, like, I need to, like, spend for my job because, you know what I mean? Like, shit, I'm going to be married. I got to take care of the household. You know what I'm saying?

So for two days, I wasn't really thinking about the wedding. I was thinking my closing deal. And we did close the deal. I got back. I actually seen AD on that Thursday. And AD, you know what I'm saying? She came through. We had a good conversation where I'm like, this is a person I can marry.

I really do feel like, though, bro, I didn't get that much support from my, my side with this whole marriage thing. It's kind of like, if I'm, you're my boy, I'm like, yeah, I just met this girl in three weeks. I'm about to get married to her. Most of my, most guys are going to be like, bro, you tripping. Yeah. But, like, it wasn't nothing that came at me, like, where I felt like, I was going to get set up. She kind of came at me cool. I was talking to mad women in the industry at that time, period. So I ain't pipe, Selena. I ain't with Selena. So my whole thing was like, what I do wrong? I just did some TikToks, but like I get it.
