You don't know who that new niggas.
Let me get my sit down and get my shit off.
But that's wrong.
But I don't know who that's a new niggins.
I'm making the, this is my decision.
Of course, it's always your decision.
It's an informed.
It's a crazy decision for any pregnant woman to lay down and have sex with another man that is not her child father.
That is insanity.
I don't care.
What scenario are you paying?
If you are pregnant and she's not.
pregnant and showing, and showing, but you have not given me, but you have not.
Let's keep that in the phone.
If you're pregnant and showing, then you know.

Life's a bitch and rich till out of divorce.
Mall, I came back in here to apologize to you once again.
I hate doing this.
I don't even know if I want the apology, but I'll take it.
Just know it comes out of love because it takes a lot for me.
So what happened?
To apologize and admit that I was wrong.
Which one of my words?
landed on deaf ears at first, but then you had time over the weekend to kind of sit with it
and realize that I was once again right. I'm always right, but once again.
Last episode, we were discussing the Cardi being offset back and forth.
Oh, that tift.
Where Offset suggested that she slept with another man while she was pregnant, and you were
telling me that all the women on the timeline were totally fine with that. It's completely okay.
Yeah, they're still cursing me out. If a woman sleeps with another man while she's pregnant,
I just thought you were gassing it a bit, like we were just doing some podcast thing.
Once we put that clip out, I even went into our own New Rory Mall community.
Every single woman in there was like, yeah, it's totally fine to fuck another guy while you're pregnant.
Yeah.
I apologize.
I didn't know they were really wilding in the streets like this.
Yeah.
I thought you were just, you know, you saw one tweet and then took it and just ran.
I'm not one of those that see one tweet and be like, see, this is what we need to do.
Fans want it.
No.
And then once it hit my algorithm, I just started seeing women throughout the entire weekend, just saying, so what's wrong with that?
Yeah. Not only are they saying what's wrong with that.
They're calling me like all kind of names now because they feel like I am taking offset side.
And the fact that he, like, they just sort of clipped.
They didn't see the whole conversation.
We both agreed that offset cheating is absolutely wrong.
And, you know, but I was just saying that.
But you didn't say put him on an island and bomb him.
Well, if we put a man that cheats on an island and bomb them, then it's like we won't have any of us left.
Who would build the bridges?
Yeah.
Who would be on this podcast?
Yeah.
Who would, you know what I'm saying?
Create the, the, the, the, the, the, you know what I'm saying?
lovely buildings and condos that you live in.
We'll survive.
I don't know if you would.
But over the weekend as well, while I was sitting here going, damn, well, it was right.
I was going back and forth with Damaris just on some fun back and forth.
And then I look at my phone like five minutes later and I see that there's like four
unsent messages to Damaris's phone that she sent to me, that she unsent.
And I was like, well, that's weird.
What did you say?
Apparently I got cussed the fuck out.
I wasn't quick enough to look at it.
Why did you get cussed up?
I'm not sure because I think it's bad for a woman to sleep with another man while she's pregnant.
You know, I don't want to give my opinion on that topic.
I just want to ask what if, because nobody asked this question.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, why you don't want to give your opinion?
Why you don't want to give your opinion?
Nobody.
Because before I give my opinion, I just have a question.
And when I was listening back to the podcast, no one asked this question, right?
This is why I should show up to work.
Outside of society standards for what women should and shouldn't do, what is hard.
harmful about a woman sleeping with another man.
PH balance.
While she's pregnant.
While she's pregnant, what's harmful?
And I'm not giving my opinion on this.
That's like fucking with your kid in the bed.
Yeah, that's crazy.
You're talking about it.
So y'all are stupid.
Okay, cool, cool, I just wanted to clarify.
No, I'm not stupid.
I'm stupid for thinking a woman that is pregnant with another man's child,
having sex with another man is absolutely crazy.
No, you're stupid for saying that it's like fucking with your kid in the bed.
It is.
Your kid is in your stomach.
That's even worse if you ask me.
Okay.
So no actual, like, serious, like, good, no good reasoning.
No, that is, that's not good reasoning.
You're pregnant.
No, but.
Mall's taking the moral and tell us the scientific way.
What's the moral?
You are pregnant.
It should be that simple.
You're pregnant.
Okay.
And this is not your child's father that you're having sex with.
Okay.
That's not enough?
You're not giving a good reason why.
Oh, okay.
I thought that was the greatest reason why you're pregnant.
Like, what, I'm looking for, like, is it a health reason?
Is there a moral code?
Is there like, this is what I'm, this is the question I'm asking.
It's a little bit all of that.
It's a gumbo of all of that.
Moral compasses all the way of.
Why are you even thinking about sex with another man
and you're carrying another man's child?
Why is your body even telling you I want sex
and it's not the child, the father of my child?
R. Kelly asked questions like that.
See what that?
I'm just saying.
You want to have sex.
Why is your body telling you that I want to have sex?
Yeah.
So women shouldn't be mourning.
During the woman's pregnancy,
is it during the woman's pregnancy,
isn't that supposed to be like the most?
sacred time. The woman's body is going through a whole bunch of different changes,
mentally, spiritually. It's a, it's a, it's a whole different woman, right? It's not a whole
different woman. It's the same woman, but her body is, drastically changing. Yes, yeah, one of the hormones
is that she gets extremely horny. She gets extremely horny. That's one of the,
physically you're changing, spiritually you're changing. Emotionally. You're going through a lot.
Mentally, right? Your body is different. You're going to walk yourself into a hole too. Yes,
your body is different, right? So you're going to allow this other energy from another,
from another man to come and enter that body
of that sacred thing that you have growing inside you.
Do you truly believe that bodies and energy are sacred?
You know?
You do?
Do you?
Fuck a nigga with a sick dick out here
and see how your energy change.
Do you?
Yes, I do.
Okay.
Absolutely.
Both of y'all have admitted to fucking numerous people
at the same time.
Just out of this podcast.
None of them were pregnant.
What the-f?
That's true.
Let's at least add that.
Yeah, that little tidrant.
Y'all don't know that.
Who don't know that?
Y'all don't know that.
If they were pregnant at the time.
Y'all don't know if they were pregnant?
Oh, well, that was another thing.
Y'all were calling men who fuck pregnant women,
uh,
y'all were calling men who fuck pregnant women sick.
And I'm like,
Cardi herself and the internet has,
herself has seen that Cardi didn't start showing that she was pregnant.
We said that.
We said that.
We said that.
We said that maybe I could see it happening if she didn't know she was pregnant.
No, I'm talking about the men.
I'm not talking about,
I'm talking about,
I'm talking when y'all were like, oh, like,
how could a man do that?
And I'm like, a lot of men don't know women are pregnant.
She might not have known.
She might not have known.
If you don't know, you don't know, you don't know.
Let's leave that there.
If you don't know, you don't know, then that's no fault to nobody.
I'm saying if you knowingly are pregnant and you lay down and sleep with another man, that is insanity.
Insanity.
One million percent.
Hold on.
So what's more insane and more dangerous, right?
Just quickly asking still, not giving my opinion, just being objective.
Going to school with anger.
Which one do you think is more dangerous and harmful to the baby?
the mother having sex with someone who she knows has been tested or she's been tested whatever,
safe sex with a condom, whatever that she's having with another man or the father who's out fucking women.
Oh, no, you're adding.
Shut up.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
How are you going to let me talk?
What are we doing here?
You're asking the whole episode to talk.
Are you going to let me talk?
Yeah, but you come in here with a lot of bullshed field.
I am.
Are you going to let me finish myself?
Get your shit off. Get your shit off. Go ahead. But when you finish, I'm bombing.
That's fine. Do your big one. That's fine. Go ahead.
Having sex with another man or, which one is more dangerous?
Having sex with another man or getting stressed out by your baby father who's running around,
cheating on you, coming back, fucking you, or not fucking you, but your baby father's running
around in front of millions and millions of people cheating on you, disrespecting you.
Which one do you think causes more harm to the baby? Which one do you think is more likely to result in
miscarriage? Stress from high blood pressure, high cortisol, and I'm stressing a fuck out crying
over a nigger or a good old orgasm from another
nigga. Which one do you think is more harmful? Why that scenario
is insane because you just gave one
scenario which is an actual legit
reason why women have miscarriages and then
put it against something that's nothing to do with
miscarriages. No, everybody's saying, no, because
everybody's acting like, Cardi. He's made up a whole new scenario.
Because everybody keeps saying that it's so
harmful to the, that didn't make up that scenario.
That's running around cheating. There's people that are not
cheating that are stressing out their baby mother that could kill the kid.
Like, what are you talking about? Okay. So if you even
the whole new topic. It's not a
whole new topic because you're missing the point. It's
It's like flying over your head.
The point is this man is running around stressing her out.
And nobody gives a fuck about that.
People are on her saying that people like her need to be on bombs and nuked and killed on an island full of whores because she gave her pussy away that she fucking owns.
But all of that is just, oh, well, you know, I mean, that's wrong.
But whatever, when he's running around stressing on his pregnant baby mother and everybody knows that stress called miscarriages.
So all I asked was which one A or B is more likely to run.
result in the harm of the baby since everybody is acting like Cardi's harm in her baby.
Which one?
For your completely new scenario, it would be the stress factor.
How is this a new scenario?
This is how I know.
You became a listener last time.
All you did was watch the clip.
You ain't listened to the whole episode because we said at the end of that shit,
yo, Cardi really just needs to leave offset because clearly for the last 10 years,
he's been fucking wilding, making her look crazy and stressing her the fuck out.
Why?
I said put him on an island.
I said he can get on the island too.
We never excuse any of offset shit.
I'm not excusing his behavior.
He's awful.
Now, can I answer your question with a question that's in more of this scenario that we're in here?
I agree that if a man is out cheating on his pregnant girl, it could be harmful for the kid
because you could come back, you sticking your dick and whatever.
That can fuck with a girl even if she's not pregnant if you're just fucking other women raw
and then fucking your girl raw.
Okay.
Now, we can all agree there.
Pregnant or not.
Exactly.
We can all agree there.
But pregnant is worse, right?
Pregnant is worse.
Of course.
Of course.
What you just said, right?
Of course.
Pregnancy.
I mean, it is.
Like, can you...
Okay, great.
So we all agree there, right?
It is.
So why is it not the same thing
if the pregnant woman is fucking a different dick?
Like, that couldn't affect her.
It's to say,
offset was wilding,
but why would it be any different if the rolls were...
Because also, she's making that decision
and she knows what's going out.
She's aware of all the factors.
I don't know who this man is fucking.
You don't know who that new niggas.
Let me get my shit down.
You don't know who that new niggas.
He's a fucking pregnant shit.
You don't know who that's a decision.
I'm making the, this is my decision.
It's always your decision.
It's an informed decision.
It's a crazy decision for any pregnant woman to lay down and have sex with another man that is not her child father.
That is insanity.
I don't care.
What scenario you're paying if you are pregnant and showing and showing.
But you have not given me.
But you have not.
Let's keep that enough.
If you're pregnant and showing, if she's not showing.
Even if she, whether she is or if she isn't, no one has given me an actual answer of how it is harmful.
It's crazy.
You cannot explain how it's crazy or harmful.
It's crazy to lay down and open your legs to another.
baby, but you cannot give me a reasonable answer. You're talking from societal standards and nothing from logic. I'm talking from just having some type of fucking moral.
Moral? What's the moral? What's the moral? You are pregnant. Why are you opening your legs and allowing another man to enter inside of you? You are pregnant. Have some self-respect. How is it disrespectful? What's the moral? Because you are pregnant. Are you not missing that? No. Yes. No, you're not pregnant with another child growing inside of you should not be laying down with no other man. You're not explaining anything.
If I tell you, you shouldn't go out in the rain and you and I, you say why, I should be able to explain to you, well, you shouldn't go out into the rain because this, this, this, this, because you can't swim.
You can't explain why. You're just like morally.
Because another life is growing inside you.
So that I should be fucking my husband.
That is a sacred time for a woman.
Mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically, a woman is completely changing when she's pregnant.
Why would you then allow for another man to enter your body when you have this life growing?
this is a sake, the most sacred time,
some would say for a woman is going through woman,
through a motherhood.
So why would you then allow a man,
whether he's wearing a condom or not?
Condom on.
Fuck it.
He's wearing a condom.
He's protected.
Why would you then allow this man to enter your body
when you have this whole thing going on all called life growing aside?
So what is different about when the man
exits her and when he entered her?
What's different?
You said what?
What's different?
What changes?
What is the result of this man having sex with her?
What changes?
You are...
And I just gave you the scientific one that wasn't even moral.
You're pregnant.
If it's fucked up with a guy's going out and entering other women and then coming back and entering her,
that new guy, to Maul's point, you don't know what the fuck he's doing.
That could fuck with you the same way it would be at the main machine.
Y'all are acting like she went and picked the nigger up off the street.
Y'all don't know what the relationship.
I don't think Cardi fucked the nigger at all.
I don't either.
I don't either.
But now we're not even talking about Cardi.
We're just talking about women agreeing with being pregnant and having sex with another man.
that's not their child's fault.
Do you think in your core, your heart of hearts,
that the guy that is fucking a pregnant woman?
We just said that we don't know if she knew she was pregnant.
His kid is making sound decisions in the world right now.
Or is he fucking a bunch of other people too?
That's a wild dude.
Now, remember you said we're inserting things that we have no idea about,
we're going off a-
I said in your heart of hearts,
do you think that the guy that is fucking the pregnant girl with a kid that isn't his?
He might not know she's pregnant, bro.
No, no, no, no.
The rest of the world, there's keep it.
Let's keep it on.
He knows and she knows.
That guy has a dirty dick.
They both know that she's pregnant.
That's not always true, worry.
Not everybody moves like you and thinks like you, bro.
There's plenty of people.
I'm glad I don't think like that guy.
I'm telling you the scenario for you.
You know you're pregnant.
No, don't put that me.
This don't put this on me.
No, I'm just saying.
I'm just saying the woman.
Okay.
The woman knows that she's pregnant and the guy that's not her child's father
knows that she's pregnant.
That's what I'm saying.
And she lays down and has sex with him.
You don't think that that's crazy.
No, I don't think that that's crazy.
Why you don't think that that's crazy?
Because I feel like,
Like, it's situation by situation basis, but at the end of the day, everybody keeps saying
a woman is when she's at her more sacred.
She's at her most this.
It's also when she's the most horny and she's also the most vulnerable and she's also the most lonely.
So for someone to want affection and to want an orgasm, which actually are healthy for babies.
Go get the rose.
Get a vibrator.
I just feel like this, it's one of these things where I feel like it's very easy for men to talk from
these standpoint.
Because you talk an orgasm.
Because it's just something.
I'm talking, I'm talking, I said four other words and you just, the vulnerability, the loneliness, the hormone, all of that.
I'm lonely.
So let me go get some nigger and fuck him.
How he lonely?
You got a kid inside you.
Y'all keep, y'all keep putting it on that she just picked a nigger up off the street.
Y'all keep putting that on.
I'm not saying she picked them up off the street.
Whoever this is, it could be a party.
We're saying this scenario.
In general.
In general.
In general, she knows him.
You know in it for years.
You used to fuck him.
Cool.
I'm saying if you're pregnant, and remember, not only you pregnant in this scenario that we're talking about why we're
having this conversation. You're married still. You already have a family with this person.
We don't know if she was still married. She got divorced a while ago. We don't know if she was
still married at the time. Well, you were married. You mean to tell me that you, the guy that
would have sex with you knowing that you're pregnant, you think that that's like cool to lay down
with this dude and he knows that you're like, that's the type of nigga that would fuck you why
that's y'all putting something on this type of nigga. No, I'm saying. I'm saying the general.
But you're saying that's the type of nigga, but there are plenty of men who meet women who are
pregnant and alone and doing shit alone and get into relations with them and end up in that
child's life.
Get into a relationship with a pregnant woman is insanity.
That's crazy.
That's your opinion.
That is insane.
That is insane.
It happens.
It happens regularly.
People fall in love.
Regular shit.
Yeah.
It's crazy.
Insane.
The niggas is insane.
I was the nigga I just saw outside right now, butt naked, scratching his head on the corner.
Insane.
Mental health.
That's fine.
That's an issue.
I didn't want to.
So my purpose and coming in here was, again, I didn't even, I don't, I have not
giving my opinion on this.
Yes, you have.
No, I haven't.
Yes, you haven't.
You just said it.
You're assuming.
You just gave it whether you wanted to or not.
You just let us know what side of the fence you want.
That's fine.
No, you really don't know what side of offense.
Okay, so what side of offense you on?
Doesn't matter.
My only point...
You can't have this whole conversation and he said doesn't matter.
Because my only point in and saying any of this to y'all...
My only point in saying any of this to y'all when I was listening was that you
guys sounded very like just health-wise.
You sounded uninformed.
You sounded like you didn't know what you were talking about when it comes
I'm talking from a moral compass.
Okay.
You being pregnant and laying down with another man is insanity.
You keep saying moral, but you can't name the moral that's broken.
You can't name the moral that's being disrespectful.
What's disrespectful?
It's a life growing inside you.
That's not this man.
So she shouldn't fuck.
So wait, so hold on.
All right.
So this is what I want to get to.
So because the life belongs to this man, which the life doesn't belong to him is also,
she created it too.
Because the life, the baby does.
What are we talking about?
Because the baby is not.
That's not his child?
What are we talking about?
The life doesn't belong to.
I said it's not just his child.
I didn't say that.
too okay i said that his child's life his child's life is growing inside of it was okay
what we're talking about their child's life okay not this nigga that you okay you're talking about
on the side not the side nigga but at the end of the day you ain't that horny but at the end of the day
if this life is so precious then why should i fuck my husband either what nobody has said she should
that's his child what are we talking about it's still her body it doesn't mean you time
we're talking we know it's her body what route do we just go down bother your dick is not touching
a child. The child is unbothered sleep.
They're tucking the child. What are we talking about? I'm not even
talking about that. What are you talking about? That's his
child. That's his child. What the fuck is that there?
Me and my girl, we're creating
a life together. So because now I
cheated, we're not together. That means, yo,
a nigga you used to talk to because your pussy
is horny right now. You clit is off. You want
this nigga to fucking pull up and fuck you?
What are we talking about here?
Now when the nigger come in the house and kill everybody,
then y'all going to say niggas is crazy.
Because
a woman using her body for what she wanted to use it for.
gives men excuses.
No, because my child is, and our child is growing inside of you.
Yes, he's unbothered.
And we're going through some shit right now.
And he's unbothered.
Because I'm a piece of shit and I cheated.
We got that part.
The baby is unbothered.
Can we all just acknowledge that the baby is unbothered?
No, man.
Can we all just acknowledge that the baby is unbothered?
We don't know that.
Yes, you do know that.
No, we don't.
People with science degrees who went to school for eight, 10 years know that.
A lot of niggas got dumb dick and now my kid is dumb dick and now my kid is dumb when he come out.
All right.
So we're being silly.
So we're talking silly.
And as long as we're talking silly like podcast talking about fine.
Ah, fuck out of here.
Y'all.
That's crazy that you think that's not a problem.
That is crazy.
I never said that.
It's not just you.
It's not just you. I'm glad Cardi said that because we had a whole bunch of you skisers pop up out of the fucking woodworks.
All the skeezes came out.
We identified all skeezes in 72 hours.
You know what's crazy is that I think that I think all skeezes.
I think if the conversation.
I think if the conversation would have been, I think if the conversation would have been about a regular, two regular people.
that we don't know about, you wouldn't have gotten.
No, it wouldn't?
No, it wouldn't?
Are we talking about anybody that's pregnant, any woman that's pregnant,
if she's laying down with another man that is not her child's father,
she's obviously she's hurt,
she's going through some shit,
but she's not making a wise decision by laying down with another.
My point?
That is not a wise decision.
My point?
I don't care how much you hurt and heartbroken that your man cheated.
You do not, lady, you have a responsibility as a mother,
as a woman that is going through pregnancy.
And you have not named how it harms the child yet other than silly little
shit that you can say out of pocket. Why you keep saying harm to child? I'm not necessarily
because you say you have a responsibility as a mother. I'm saying have some morals about yourself.
Have some self-respect or is it responsibility to a child? You should be so discused by men at that
point. If you're willing to not be with your husband that you shouldn't you shouldn't even want
to look at another man let alone open your legs for him. What are we talking about here? You're pregnant.
Go sit down and go through this beautiful journey of motherhood without opening your legs for some dirty
dick nigger from uptown.
go sit down go take a vacation with you and your girls your sister your mother the women of your family
and go through this beautiful journey of motherhood with other mothers don't surround yourself with
no dirty dick nigger what the fuck are we talking about here how are we even trying to how are we
even trying to validate such malarkey i think mall's point what are we talking about from what
i'm gathering when we just landed my wife i really don't have much to add let me just go through
because the guy that's going to fuck you is dirty that dude like dude
That's all I'm saying.
And again, keep it on, keep it on par.
If he knows that the woman is pregnant, not if he doesn't know.
That's not as fault if he don't know.
If he knows that that woman is pregnant, he's dirty.
How you even get horny to be like, yo, I'm about to hit that?
What are we talking about him?
You're a deviant if you do that.
What the fuck are we?
If you see a pregnant woman be like, yeah, I want to fuck that girl.
Yo, and it's okay.
And again, I don't, back to the beginning of this conversation in this topic, I don't believe for one second that car you later.
Like, that's a predator.
Like, I really think that could be on the spectrum of being a predator.
If you are not
You are not mentally sane
Targeting pregnant women
Yeah, that is crazy to me
What other nasty shit do you be doing?
That is crazy.
That's God's threesome.
That's crazy to me.
I don't think that anybody
could sit here and say that
that's this something
Even if you don't want to use the word crazy.
You can't say that,
yo, that's cool.
Oh, I bet.
Yeah, that's cool.
Yeah, that's cool.
That's cool. What?
What are we talking about?
I'll leave with saying this.
I think the reason why
so many people came out
in support of
this situation when it comes to Cardi
is because people have, we've all watched for eight years
what Cardi cry and on the internet
and go through all these things. So I think at
one point, a lot of women I talk to us like, yo, if it was a normal
regular situation, I wouldn't support it. But at this
point, shorthy, like, at this point, like,
I can't blame her. Let me ask you, okay, so let me ask you a further
question. What is that doing? What is that helping? You go out and lay
down with another man while you're pregnant. You know, the kids,
they want to get their lick back. Like, that's what that is. You got your lick back.
And first of all, to think that getting your lick back
would not even cause more stress,
you're nuts.
Like, if you think that's going to make this current
fucked up situation a better one and less stressful,
bugging.
There's...
Look what it already possibly started.
You don't think Cardi B's hasn't been stressed out
the past week?
And again, I don't think Cardi's...
Stress, bad for the kid, right?
I don't think she did it either.
So pissed off and so disgusted by men at that point
that she couldn't even tolerate the look at a minute.
That's another thing.
And I don't really want to...
Y'all didn't really do it, but I've been seeing it on the internet a lot,
and I really don't like seeing this.
I think it's really disrespectful.
When people say why a lot of people were like,
Maul, how could you think she didn't do that?
Look at her past.
It also did the same thing.
Throw her past in her face.
They told me not to wipe you.
We spoke on that.
Cardi, she comes from a situation of having to be in survival mode.
But nothing that she has shown.
Everybody keeps saying like, oh, she's a stripper.
Why wouldn't she do that?
Like, like, disrespectful.
And it's like, if she really wanted, if she was really a.
She was really a vindictive type of person or went to do shit when she's hurt.
She could have been wiped the floor with that, nigger.
She could have been walked him down.
I think I don't think that.
And I'm going to sound like a caper here.
But outside of her past of being a stripper, once she stopped stripping,
Cardi never had some crazy past.
I mean, if she did, she hit it.
We don't know.
She was never running around crazy from loving hip hop to now.
Yeah.
Even before she met offset and they got married, like, when did we ever?
hear Cardi was really with somebody. And that's gossiping and corny. But to bring up Cardi B's past,
it's pretty squeaky fucking clean. And I don't like outside of dancing at Seuss.
That's just outside of her. I also, it's ignorance. It's ignorance. It's just outside of her.
It's like the, it's 2024. We're still giving the negative connotation that strippers are
hoars. Oh yeah, which is crazy.
Hey, let me let y'all know, like as like a normal woman with normal friends, the women that be in
the house that y'all don't see, they in the house with niggas. They're the horse. I'm telling you,
I'm telling y'all this.
The women that be secretive in the house, they're the whores.
You just don't know their business.
Don't put being a whore on strippers.
I know plenty of strippers that are not whores.
Same.
And even if you get into some of that nasty accusations of Cardi, like, drugging men in motels,
I don't know if that's true or not.
That's what she said, but, you know, you go off her own words.
But she's also, like, and I don't think you should drug men.
But she never beat.
Again, at that, never fucked them.
Again, at that point in her life, she was in survival mode.
Yeah.
She was a different person.
She's no longer in that space.
She's not living to survive.
She's not out here doing shit for survival.
She's very comfortable, very well off, taking care of the rest of her life.
Cardi will be just fine.
I believe that Cardi is the type of woman that if her husband or ex-husband and cheated and
she's pregnant, I believe she would be so disgusted with men that she would net the thought
of another man even talking to her would make her throw up.
That's the type of energy I get from Cardi.
So her saying that, again, I still think that was just the fuck offsets.
head up. She probably was still, she probably was dating people.
Texting, whatever. But I, you know, actually having sex, no, I don't believe so. I don't,
I don't think she was. I think she said that to her him. I wish she didn't because even her
saying that it's kind of like, whoa, it's crazy. But when I get behind all that shit, I know she's
hurt, she's upset. And at that point, she'll say anything that she think is going to pierce his soul.
To close the topic again, we don't know these fucking people. I think the actual scenario
I actually have confidence in saying this.
I think they were completely broken up.
She was dating.
Did not know she was pregnant yet.
Offset knew who she was dating.
They were separated.
And obviously whoever she was dating she was sleeping with.
Then she ended up finding out she was pregnant.
And Offset used that information against her.
I don't think she knew or he knew.
Yeah.
But Offset knew that they were split and she was talking to someone.
When you break up with your girl, especially if you have kids,
you would know if like what's going on.
Yeah.
she was probably dating somebody seriously.
And of course they were having sex.
Then she found out she was pregnant.
Our whole conversation was offset.
So.
It was strictly based on if she knew she was pregnant and the other dude that she was sleeping with knew she was pregnant.
That's absolutely crazy.
Anything else is like nobody's at fault.
If nobody knew that they were pregnant, then you can't blame them for that.
You can't blame somebody for what they don't know.
I'm saying if a woman is knowingly pregnant and she lays down with another guy, he knows she's
pregnant. That's fucking crazy. That's all. Sorry, baby, I ain't mean to give you that and I ain't
see you in a couple days. That energy wasn't even meant for you like that. Yeah, and I don't even
like always like revisiting certain topics, but we had to do it with Damaris here. Oh, no.
Yeah, I didn't. I was sick. I wanted to come into work so bad because I knew that it was going
to be a shit show. And then I listened and I said, wow, a shit show. How did I know?
So what made it a shit show though? You said that you need to put all horrors on an island and
set off a nuclear bomb.
whores that agree that what she did was like yes out of all the things that people have done and
we have talked about on this podcast though people agreeing that carty should get her lick back
horse island bomb no no no no not that she shouldn't get her lick back getting her lick back while
she's pregnant is fucking insanity i think y'all need to remember that you don't own women and you
don't own their bodies even if you put a baby in them you don't own their bodies even if you put a baby in them
you do not own their bodies.
You're correct in that statement.
Nobody owns anybody.
But as a woman, you should have a certain level of self-respect and morality.
And nobody has explained to me why it's not moral or disrespectful.
And so therefore, we end the conversation.
And that's it.
We can agree to that you can answer my question.
One more question.
This has nothing to do with Cardi B or their situation at all, just the scenario.
I'm going to take it there.
Do you think it's okay if a woman swallows some nut while she's pregnant?
because that includes sex.
I can't.
Like,
Rory.
I think she jacking that.
This is why,
this is why I can't.
That's a crazy thing to jack.
That's like when old boy said,
six nine is the only snitch we jacking.
Oh my God.
You are so fucking idiotic.
Like the fact that you think that that would even reach that baby,
you are literally idiotic.
No,
answer the question.
You are literally idiotic.
Answer the question.
Do I think health-wise is it perfectly fine?
Yes.
It causes no harm to.
her or the child. No.
Causes no harm to her or the child. There's nutritional benefits.
Health-wise causes no harm to her. Let me
tell y'all something. Yo, P's my camera. I didn't say
caused harm. All of this, all I hear
is y'all speaking from your ego. I do not hear
anybody speaking from society.
100%. Anybody out there listening, let me tell you something.
If you're
ladies, if you're pregnant,
knowingly pregnant,
and you lay it out with another man
and you let him come in your mouth
and you swallow,
Don't say that.
We advocate for domestic violence.
We advocate for domestic violence.
I'm not advocate for shit.
If you're pregnant with my child and you fuck another man and you swallow.
No, anyone listening mall is joking around.
This is just for content purposes.
To any advertisers listening, this was all, he's joking.
All right.
What's my camera at?
Yo, listen, ladies, if you are pregnant with another man's child and you have sex with another man,
Double down, double down.
If you swallow.
How's that?
A little better?
No.
You deserve everything that's coming to you?
And what's coming to him is a brand new pair of Levi's from Beyonce.
Did you see the commercial guys?
She looks great.
Let's change the channel.
She looks great.
This is fun.
I think this is a good promo.
Demaris?
It better be.
Yeah, it is.
She looks amazing.
I forever won.
to see Beyonce pull out of
some jeans for the rest of my life
played out on a loop.
She looks great. She looks amazing.
This commercial is weird.
How is it weird?
It's weird. Can we acknowledge how
in mall, I mean, this is like your era?
Is this what washing machines used to look like?
What the hell is that?
It's like the old scuba.
What is that shit?
That looks like what Cuba went underwater in.
Yeah, it looks crazy.
Yeah, that's old.
You know, never seen that.
I was born in 92.
I've never seen.
seen a washing machine like that.
Born in 90, neither have I?
Maul, have you ever been in a commercial or, like, did any acting work?
In a commercial, no.
You've done acting work?
Well, outside of our stuff.
Have I done acting work?
No.
I mean, you went to a performer arts high school, so I figured I would ask.
I mean, we had that, we had acted on stage, not like commercial, shit like that.
We did shit a lot of shit, like theater play type stuff, but not like commercial
camera.
Were you the lead in any of those plays?
Um, I had solo.
and some songs.
I had some solos.
I was just wondering
if you was that nigga in high school
if he was like a tree.
No, I could really sing.
I could really sing.
Do you have an IMB page?
No, I do not.
No, that word?
Okay.
Damn.
Torre we really started typing.
I don't know.
Like, even extra work gets put on there.
Yeah.
Never did no acting, no commercial acting.
Okay.
I think you would be good at it.
That's why I was never too late.
Start a new career podcast
and it's kind of tanking.
Is it?
A little bit.
They give them these white, never mind.
I feel like Amarro would just destroy a commercial set.
Like, she's adorable and would be great as, like, one of those toddlers for any ad.
I just feel like she put everyone in overtime.
Like, union fees would have to go longer.
She would be a menace.
Amara would be perfect as that new.
Remember a Pepsi girl that they used to have?
Yeah, I remember.
Amara would be dope or something like that.
Like the red-headed, red-headed little curly hair.
So you're encouraging me to have my daughter drink these sugary beverages that they're poisoning us with, is what you're saying.
I mean, you encourage that type of shit.
You drank it.
You're still here, right?
Is he?
Oh, he's here.
Is he here?
Depends the day.
The, uh, speaking of children on set, the last shoot I did was my first time working with a kid.
Out of context, that sounds crazy.
But it was a, it was a scene where I played the dad.
I had a wife.
And then there was a grandma, but there was a kid.
the kid was like, is seven years old. And the way that the production and like the parents there
and like the, uh, there's like a guidance person on set too, they are so like the kids only allotted
so much time on set during a shoot day, you know? So it's like they are very like make sure the
kids, you know, fed, having a good time. Like they check in every 10 seconds. Even when we're shooting,
they're like right off camera to make sure everything's fine. So it was very, at least from the only
experience I've had like very professional
by the book they don't play when there's kids
on set. Oh yeah, no, there's a lot of laws and
contractual things that have to be
in place when kids are on set for sure.
Yeah, so that's I mean
very limited experience but it was yeah very interesting
to see how different they are like
you know versus treating us
versus a child talent. It's like night
and day.
The craziest thing when I was working like in
production was a
we did a campaign for a stelle
and we had cats on set.
A cat was part of the single artwork
and some of the video stuff we were doing.
I'm thinking with like my novice production experience at that time
was like, all right, I'll find a cat.
That should be cool.
I didn't know about like the actual union laws
when it comes to animals.
We had, I think, 10 cats on set.
Like in a small like, you know, production white-cytes.
type of shit. Cats just
roaming about everywhere because you can't have
just one.
It was one of the worst experiences.
Like just shitting on the white
psych. Nice. And of course, the
only person that has 10 black cats is a
cat lady. Yep. She looked
just like, you know at Home Alone, the woman with
the pigeons. Oh, I love her. She looked
just like her. We had to do a two-day shoot.
Wait.
No, Malca, she was a hero.
She was scary at first, but
yeah, she did. She was
Julian, I love her.
Well, she was showing to be scary,
but she was a really nice, sweet woman.
And then Kevin's fucking up
a bazillion dollars and gave her a fucking
bullshit dove. Bitches homeless feeding pigeons. He goes,
thanks for rescuing my life. Here's a dove for a
Christmas tree that you don't have.
You don't remember that?
It symbolized something deeper.
No, I should have cut her a fucking check.
He was homeless.
What's she going to hang the doves on?
A bush?
The other pigeon.
Yeah.
She's going to put it around
one of the pigeons
neck's like a chain.
God.
So in the artwork, right?
It's a black cat
between a chick's legs.
Like she has her legs like this.
Oh, that shoe.
Oh, I think it's here.
It's right there.
I'll grab it.
Yeah, grab it so we can.
I forgot the actual artwork.
Single called.
I'll pull it up.
So yeah, Aristotle directed this.
And I had produced it.
We had
gotten a woman, a stripper.
Oh, that one.
Who I knew at the time.
To lay like this.
And for those listening to audio,
watch the video.
Go to YouTube.
This was in our bathroom for a while
until I got cracked.
So now, this woman is laying on her back, right?
Be careful about that.
I'm sorry, it wasn't black cats. It was white cats.
Now, the pigeon lady and cat lady
is damn near squatting over
this girl's face the entire time
trying to get the cats to behave
and then that wouldn't work
they grab another cat.
So imagine a woman that looks like
the Home Alone Pigeon lady
squatting with her ass
in the face of this woman
trying to keep her legs up
with a cat there.
And everyone's looking at me
like, Rory, figure it out.
So they just photoshopped
the woman out of this, the final?
No, she kept running away
so we could take the photos
and then she run back
and like,
it almost looked like the Boston crab
that she was putting him in
damn so I listen all for the love of art
first fell yeah
yeah I get it
all right Roy well are you talking about cats
I don't even know how we got down that path at all
it's all good I don't I don't mind talking about cats
but we got some new music this week though
back to your boy J. Cole
it was a good music Friday
a lot of good good I don't know if it was it good
was it just music Friday or was it just
Music Friday.
No, it was a better
music Friday. Better music Friday.
Yeah, out of all the Fridays,
I think this one was definitely up there.
I like that, the weekend and a Cardi record.
Yeah, I'm not mad at it.
I expected worse from Cardi, I'll be honest.
I don't want any smoke with his fan base.
But he impressed me more than what I thought he was going to bring.
I thought he was just going to go like super full artsy
and just stay silent
and it was going to say
featuring Playboy Cardi.
Like it was going to be
an empty verse.
That's really where I thought
they were going to take it.
The record is dope.
Yeah, it's cool record.
Neptune's produced it, right?
Am I correct?
I'm saying that.
That I'm not sure.
Let's look it out.
Did they do,
while Julian looks that up,
did they do their YouTube
conspiracies of the Illuminati
and the devil in this one yet?
Because they weren't even trying to hide it.
I think they were trying to,
that would be the rollout.
People play into that shit.
Of course.
They know the images to use
and visuals to use
to get people
going down these rabbit holes
and to do these videos
breaking down the record
and the images
like all of that is
for the sake of the record
doing well
even though the weekend
doesn't need shit like that
he's obviously
one of the biggest artists
in the world
but the record is hard though
Gunner Stahl produced the video
too
the director of the video I should say
I like the video a lot
yeah
it's tough sometimes
just like get simplistic
videos like this to work
and they knocked it out the park
I thought it was great
and the song is great
song is fire
What do we think the direction?
Because Weekend has kind of had a theme or a personality for the last few albums.
Yeah.
I can't quite figure out what this one's going to be off this first single.
So the artwork is interesting.
It's, um...
Looks like he's going through it.
Yeah.
Off a pack.
He has a mask on, right?
No.
Well, on the single artwork, yes, you're right.
On the single artwork, yes.
So is he back, is he behind a mask?
Is he...
What does he do?
doing is it because this looks a little mf doomish right it definitely does look a little doomish yeah the single
yeah the single work's interesting but the album artwork is for the foreseeing his full face it's that
extreme close up with his like you know or is this the one where he's not no mask no mask no aesthetics
no nothing it's just it's it's able it's just able yeah he's at that point in his career the self-title like
this is actually this is the upcoming album artwork i've shed i've shed all of my personalities and
all of my, you know, traumas
and now this is able.
I mean, I would like that from weekend.
As much as I've loved pretty much
every weekend album and I do like when he gets in his
alter personality bag.
But just a straight up weekend album,
like, I don't want like another house of balloons per se.
I'm not going to tell an artist.
Of course I would want that, but telling an artist
this far in their career, can you go channel that again?
Yeah.
I don't want Nas to go make Illmatic 2.
I'm cool.
on that.
No, he gave you still Maddie.
Which was a classic.
Yeah.
But sounded completely fucking different.
Definitely nothing like it.
I would like to see, we can just get back to the basics.
Like, there's no gimmick shit here.
It's not pop.
It's darker.
Even though he makes great dark pop records, just a dark-ass album I'm with.
Hmm.
Is that Cardi on a record?
What you mean?
Because before I just listened to the record, I didn't even look at the, like, who
featuring on it and I'm listening to it. And then when I saw it, it says Playboy Cardi, I didn't
think that that was Playboy Cardi at all. Who did you think it was? I don't know who I thought it was.
I just didn't, when they said Playboy Cardi and then I saw the video, I was very surprised.
Like, that sounds totally different than Playboy Cardi. Yeah. So what are you suggesting that?
Is it Cardi? Is it Cardi? Is it somebody else or is it AI is what you're saying?
Is it Cardi AI? Is it Cardi AI?
That would be very much a Cardi move.
even what he did with
Aiden Ross, like, yo, give me, what was it, $2 million?
I'll come and do an interview with you.
He was, like, in the hallway and was like, yo, let me get the,
let me get the back end and dipped.
I could see Cardi leaning into it.
Like, that wasn't even me.
That was my AI shit.
I AI'd my own verse.
That would be some Cardi shit.
And all his fans would be like, that's genius.
Because even in the video, if you look at the video and pay attention,
like, he's not really performing a verse like that.
But that could be.
also just be another car he no this is what he does he's he's had a lot of different
rap voices he's on like his fourth voice in like the last two years because i heard a song
that i really liked that he put out maybe a year or so ago and i was like this is thug it's definitely
it's yeah there's no way this isn't young thug he went through a future it was cardi he sound exactly
like the which he still kind of goes like oscillates between that voice the future voice and like the
whiny classic cardi voice so you think it's
I do think it's him. I just think he's one of those artists that always, depending on the track, will change his voice, his tone.
Well, if it's, if it's, if it's, if it's, if it's, essentially it's, I guess, right. I was going to ask you guys that question. How do you feel about an artist doing their own AI of themselves? It's not like an artist just put featuring Playboy Cardi and ran something through an AI program. Like they were, I don't know why they would write something and then have AI do it. Like, okay, so it's pretty fucking lazy. Just take the night to, to record.
So what if he didn't write it?
And they just, they're just using the AI Cardi.
He didn't write it, but he'll perform it.
He'll be his name on the feature.
I mean, I wouldn't care because when it comes to music like this,
I don't particularly care who writes it.
So if he had 10 human writers, I wouldn't really give a fuck.
So why would I really care if AI wrote it?
Now, if it came to certain other artists, other artists, yes,
I would have a huge issue if I found out that they used AI to write their verse
and then they just went in the booth and either sang it or wrapped it.
So if Cardi, if somebody wrote this verse for Cardi and he didn't perform it, he didn't record it.
They put it through an AI system and out comes the verse on audio.
And he just performs the track in the video.
You're okay with that?
No, then I have an issue.
If somebody put like a bunch of topics in a chat GPD that they think would work for Playboy Cardi
and chat GPT just spit back an entire Playboy Cardiverse
and he went in the booth and did it,
I'd have no problem with that.
But if they put his actual voice through that too
and he didn't even perform or record it,
that's fucking crazy.
That's insane.
Yeah, no, there's a line to be drawn.
Yeah.
And again, I think there's an okay line.
I think artists are doing that.
I think artists are doing that with writing right now for sure.
I think there's a lot of artists that use AI for writers.
For sure.
But again, if they already had writers before, I guess I'm pissed because you're not employing or paying talented writers that would love the opportunity.
It's still the same, no?
Is it, okay, so is it, is it a difference if, because obviously we know other writers write for artists, right?
So there's no foul play there because we know people write on records.
But now what we're talking about this AI technology.
So now the writer gets in the booth and lays down basically like how you do a reference track,
lays down a track with a Cardi AI filter.
And they send it in and all Cardi has to do is approve it, agrees to perform the record in the video.
Are you okay with that?
No.
No, because at that point, like the writing thing is a separate thing.
The performance part of it, that's where I would completely.
draw the line. It has to be your voice. It has to be your inflections. It has to be you actually
performing this record in the booth for sure. Because that's crazy. At that point, it's,
it's not you. We would joke, remember on Drake's album where I was like, yeah, we think that's
Michael Jackson AI or even other artists that have made whole Twitter accounts based off them
making weekend records or anything. At that point, you're just there. It's, it's, it's,
just because Cardi signed off on it, doesn't make it Cardi. Do we think that that's, I think that that's
happening already. I do too. I definitely do too. But what does that look like when it comes to
paperwork? Or like if I go on Spotify where I can see writers, producers, it would just be the writer
getting credited. But what if they do their writing? Because if you're using my AI, my likeness,
right? My voice. Okay. My inflections. I think you're missing my question. I'm saying when it comes to
the writing side, if they use AI to write. No, no, no. Someone comes up with time.
It's a real person writing it.
Okay.
It's a real writer.
I still have an issue with it.
But I'm curious what that looks like with publishing side with people that are using AI to write.
Like at that point, whatever program you use, did they get the pub?
Hmm.
And how do you even prove that?
Like, whatever companies have these AI programs, are they monitoring everything that is being spit back to these artists, like, and is used?
Because, like, what was that right?
I wouldn't even know how to go about, like, let's say I'm, of course, I'm a bad example, but I'm on this podcast.
If I'm in a studio and come up with a bunch of fucking topics and put it through an AI program and they give me back a verse.
And then I have an artist that doesn't typically write but sings really well.
And they go in that booth, sing it.
And then when it's time to sign off on that record and I'm doing the paperwork and we get down to publishing, who do I credit as a writer?
Meta?
But if you know, Mark Zuckerberg?
If it's an actual writer writing the lyrics though.
No, I know.
Like the Taylor, what was that?
What was the Taylor made?
Was it the name?
Like he did with Taylor Me.
He wrote it.
He wrote it.
You just go in there, you use a technology in the system that turns your tone and inflection
to sound like Tupac or Snoop or whoever.
Okay, Drake wrote it.
Use the likeness of another artist.
I'm saying in this case, if somebody wrote that but Playboy didn't perform it, they just
used Playboy's AI.
But he's cool with it.
He's like, all right, cool.
Like, I'll, let's shoot the video.
That's not cool to you.
Not a little.
Because you're not actually performing.
But I think that's happening.
I agree.
I think it's happening.
I think it's going to continue to happen.
I think some of the biggest artists are going to feel like, well, I'm already who I am.
And I've already achieved as much as I can probably achieve in music.
That makes you an influencer at this point.
And obviously everything is going on that route.
At that point, you're a straight up influencer.
You're not an artist anymore because you're not even performing the records.
Again, I have no issue with someone writing something for another artist and then performing it because they can perform it better.
But that still makes you an artist.
But once you just are signing off on someone using AI for your voice, you're an influencer.
You're just popular.
You have nothing to do music.
Most of these artists are popular.
But at least they make music.
That's why they're popular.
At that point, you're a IG model to me.
You're just an IG batty if someone is using your voice and writing for you.
And you're just signing off and saying, okay, you can use my likeness here.
I think it's happening.
I think we're already hearing songs and it's not the actual artist performing that record.
Outside of this one, you have any in particular that you've thought?
That was the case?
I can't really think.
But I remember sometimes hearing certain artists and I'm like, it sounds different.
Sometimes you hear artists and you're like, wait, that's who?
Yeah.
And I'm like, no, that's.
And I'm like, really?
Like, they sound different.
But, I mean, to be fair, AI and.
not. Like, we've seen what pro tools and, like, you can do with vocals, you know, on the board.
So those things have been happening for the amount of plugins that, we know a lot of singers.
What's the difference with AI, aside from you actually being in there and it's you actually, you know, performing a record.
But like, if I'm singing and I can't sing and they, they put a pitch correct on my voice auto tune the entire record.
Like, you understand what I'm saying? So kind of sort of in a way, it's, it's already remnants of that happen.
because that's not really, it's you singing, but we put a lot of cut on that.
There's a lot of cut on the back.
We put a lot of cut on those vocals.
At that point, I think I'm just trying to hold on to any bit of music integrity that's left,
but you are completely right.
Like, what is the fucking difference?
What's the difference?
If we're putting that much tune and even a lot of the tune programs come from AI now,
like a lot of stuff that my engineer Robbie uses with, like, actual established singers that are great.
we'll still experiment with the AI programs
that are attached to Pro Tools now.
But when your voice is not even like that whatsoever
and we're already putting you through that program,
does it fucking matter?
I guess you're right.
But this is what I'm saying.
No, I guess you're right.
So now we back to the point of it just being artist's integrity.
And we know that motherfuckers part with their integrity a lot.
A lot of these niggins are walking around with book bags
and these cross-body bags with no integrity in it.
We know that.
So at this...
There's a gun in there, no integrity.
Chapstick.
Credit card, no integrity.
Gun, knife, no integrity, right?
So we're just talking about from at that point
it just being like, well, damn, just have some integrity.
At least still getting a booth and lay it down.
I mean, I guess, all right, so to get there,
we would have to create a settings.
So there would have to be an original song
that AI could pull from.
And some settings that you use to even continue to do that.
So I don't know, are artists going to do that once?
And if it's successful, let's just match this
and let AI do the rest.
Why not?
I'm just saying we got to start thinking that everything is changing and start questioning all of this shit when we see the technology right in our face.
Like we have to start questioning a lot.
And I'm just saying on this record in particular and listening to it, first of all, again, I love the record.
I think the record is incredible.
But in hearing it before I knew it was Playboy, I'm like, wait, that's who?
It just didn't, to me, it just didn't sound like him.
Yeah.
For example, Tommy Richmond's album that came out of it.
on Friday. I like and I think he's very talented. But obviously you can tell he uses a lot of
settings, which again is fine. We have plenty of artists that we revere that do the exact same thing.
I'm not faulting him for that. But with the amount of settings he does use, AI could easily
just remake that. Right. Like you could do a whole time in Richmond album probably with AI that would
be really good. Yeah. Which is, it's over, man. You're listening. That's a
I was waiting for you to say like, just, it just surprised me just thinking about.
Just get to it. I'm sorry. I'm not potting great right now. I'm just sad.
No, listen, just get to it. Just get to it. Like I'm just trying to raise questions.
I'm just trying to, you know, because I'm just saying this is we're not far from that being like a normal thing is all I'm saying.
We're not far from it. I think some artists have already adopted it and already using it and just allowing this AI technology to use their likeness.
And we already know there's incredible writers out there. I think that there's people writing and there's people that are using these artists likeness.
and creating a song and the artist just has to agree to it and sign off on it.
But even at this point, though, a lot of the writers that are doing the AI thing
and making themselves other artists, they do have to perform it into the mic, though.
The writer, you mean?
Well, yeah, they have to perform it into the mic and then the system, the technology
changes it.
That's where I'm drawing the line.
Like, you should at least as the artist, just go perform what he wrote.
And still allowed them to put all the pitch correction on there and all the tune on there.
I don't know, man.
It's over.
I'm just saying, man.
It's tech now.
Just listen.
I just encourage everybody to just listen a little more intentional.
So you're saying coders are the new artists.
I'm just saying, man, I think that, you know, the industry, the music business is going to start, you know, just accepting this technology and using it to the best way they can.
Maybe an artist can't leave a certain part of the world to record right now.
I can't get the studio.
But hey, we already have the record done.
We'll let you hear it.
Let us know what you think.
Because you got to think, if you're already an established artist, one of the biggest artists in the world, and they want you to make an album and you're like, I'm not really in the mood to really go record. And they say, well, look, we got seven songs we already did. We got these writers. We got them in there. Used AI, used your voice. We want you to hear it. And they send you these tracks and it's amazing music. And it sounds just like you. What do you do at that point? Do you say- But also imagine the legacy acts that really have no interest in working anymore. I don't.
mean to trigger de Maris. Let's use Mariah, for example. I don't think she'd ever do this because
she's incredible. She's a goat. We love her. But Mariah is retired. Imagine if AI came up
with a bunch of amazing Mariah Christmas covers that we had never heard before. And it was
pitched to Mariah. Simon Toledo was like, yo, we have 12 Christmas covers that you've never done.
Done. You can listen to all these. Approve every single one. It sounds exactly like if you did it.
Goes out tomorrow. What's Mariah going to be like, nah?
free bag.
I didn't even have to leave the crib.
They just using my likeness.
Again, integrity is still important to artists, right?
We know that some people are still, they hold that very high.
I'm just saying we're probably already in that zone where we're listening to music
and it's not the actual artist that was in their performing a record.
That's just something for us to think about.
Like, I don't see, I can see, like you said, legacy artists.
I can see them definitely leaning into that.
I mean, remember the last probably captain.
catalog buy-up conversation we had, and we were discussing AI.
Of course, there's a million factors why these tech companies are buying up all the catalogs.
You're owning their voice at that point, too.
You own their voice.
And you can manipulate that through AI.
If you have all the masters, you own them.
You legally can put those through AI programs, and it's yours.
Well, we've seen this in Hollywood, what you guys are alluding to, like, I forget which actor is it.
Was it Bruce Willis?
Who's dying from some...
Bruce Wells...
Bruce Willis is dying?
He has a, yeah, some...
What?
I can't just throw that on me like that.
Yeah, it's not some like...
Yeah, you'll just do that in conversation.
Yeah, you'll do that in conversation.
Bruce Willis is dying.
I thought you're about to say die hard.
Yeah, he's...
Yeah, he's...
Dude, frontal temporal dementia.
FTT.
So he's...
It's like a slow deterioration.
It's awful.
So if it's not him, my bad internet,
I'm also not going to Google it.
right now, but I'm pretty sure it's him. He basically came to an agreement with the studio and sold
his likeness for, you know, X amount of money, say just throw a number, fake figure, $100 million.
So they said, okay, for $100 million, you can use Bruce Willis's likeness voice, like body,
just in program it into future productions. And because of he's incapable of doing these films
and, you know, being on set now, I don't know if they've done it or if there's things that have
that have taken place or he's been in films or what,
what have you, but like, this is happening in Hollywood
where someone's willing to sell their likeness to a studio
and let them do as they with for, you know,
films and stuff, commercials.
If you're already a legacy, like a legacy artist, right?
Yeah, you're just selling your likeness at that point.
You're just selling your likeness at this point.
Like, you've already written countless hits
and had amazing albums and, you know, did amazing tours.
Like, really, you've done that.
And you're at a point now where you're like,
I really just don't, you know, I don't feel like going and locking into a studio for the next
14 months to create this new album. And, you know, the label comes to you. Listen, we have these
amazing writers. You know, we have these amazing producers. And we're going to run everything,
your likeness, your tone, your vocal inflections, everything through this AI filter. We come back
to you, let you know when we have the finished product, let you hear it. You let us know what you think.
And you get this album back. And it's my beautiful dark twisted.
fantasy.
That's the level of this album.
AI could never.
My beautiful Dark Twos the fantasy.
As a legacy act, do you be like, there's no
fucking way I could ever put this out?
You know, like, the integrity.
It depends who it is, but
outside of the music shit, back to like the movie thing,
what's going to kill is animation.
You know, like every so years,
every few years, like the B movie
Jerry Seinfeld did where it's like Ellen
It has every name you could think of
that just does the animation thing.
Because those people are either retired or
too busy. And it's like, let's just lock them in an
air condition.
studio. It'll take them one month through all these lines.
Yes.
You don't have to do that anymore.
Just take Jerry Seinfeld's voice with AI and just write the script.
Right.
Another thing that I could see that would be super lucrative is a lot of these celebrities
get booked a lot of campaigns, say like in Japan or really any like in Asia.
And instead of saving them having to go out there and shoot these things and do the voices
and do all these things, if they could just agree like, okay, here's a tech, the knowledge
that we have, we're going to, you know, and those ads don't run here and there. So I was like, say it's
exclusive to Japan. We have this ad usage fee of two years. So they can get a bag, do a two-year,
you know, ad campaign that's running for two years in Japan, but never have to physically leave
their home in L.A. and just take like $20 million. Instead of literally having to fly halfway
across the world to, you know, fulfill the obligation, be on set, do the lines, do all this stuff.
If they could just auto-generate that, I'm sure. That for me, if I was in that position, I was,
would sign my rights to like other countries like that in a heartbeat.
Like, look, you want me to be the face of this like Asian skincare product?
Sure.
Just give me, you know, I'll take instead of 20, give me 10 as long as I'm going to stay home.
Yeah.
Because I mean, even when they were doing CGI in the early days, like we're all now learning
about this shit.
But this has been in the works for quite some time.
I'm sure there's plenty of contracts that are already in 2026, 27, where actors don't
even need to be there.
and we would never be the wiser.
I was even watching the David Chase doc on HBO Max.
David Chase, the creator of Sopranos.
I think it's called Waii.
I still want to try.
I didn't even know that Tony's mom in real life,
like the actual actress, Nancy, I forgot her last name.
She died during the creation of, I think, the second season.
I didn't know they CGI'd her after she was dead,
and this was in the early 2000s.
I don't, I didn't know that.
Yeah.
Like there's actual back and forth dialogue between Tony and his mom and it was all CGI.
This was like in, you know, 2002.
Wow.
Another example, like with, with, our beloved Dane Maggie Smith just passing, right?
Oh, yeah.
Love it from sister act.
Obviously Harry Potter.
Do we think that Harry Potter, when they do another movie, they, CGI A-I,
her likeness voice somewhere in that?
No, I think they only do that when they're in the middle of a project and that person can't
complete the project.
To do that for a whole new project is kind of disrespectful because now you're using
this person's likeness and they're not getting paid for it.
But I'm, I think in contracts moving forward, like the same way we talk about labels taking
life insurance money out on artists that have some gang history.
Yeah.
I'm sure the standard at some point
when it comes to actors
is you're literally writing your life away
like if you die we can just redo this
even if you don't die when you die way later
if I own Harry Potter the series right
then I own the characters
and that as well so with Dame Maggie Smith's
character her being you know her passing away now
you can't see them doing Harry Potter where there's just like
the character you don't own the
like the character is the character
she's not the character.
No, but if you just use the voice of her character in that.
But that's not the characters.
Like, the character doesn't have a voice.
The character has a name.
It has a definition of his personality.
And it has...
The character doesn't have a voice.
The character doesn't have a voice.
No, the character is from a book.
The character does not have a voice.
Are you seeing what I'm saying?
No.
It's whatever...
It's right with a loophole there as far as repurposing that.
Because they own her likeness as that character.
And if they want to go do any type of hair...
Harry Potter reboot. They don't need her permission.
They can use all her footage. They can use her voice.
They can do anything they want to. Yes, the past
footage. They cannot go and create new footage.
They cannot create new voices.
Fair. And even if that's true, I think that's going to change.
I think that'll be standard within contracts moving forward.
Like, your voice as this character, we can manipulate for the rest of our lives to use.
Yes.
Okay. He's just saying that was a big part of the strike.
I guess that, yeah, the actors voted as they should.
You guys remember when South Park killed off chef?
Yeah.
And they basically what happened in real life was Isaac Hayes, who voiced
chef, gotten a really big fight contractually with the creators of South Park.
They basically told him to go fuck himself.
It was over Scientology, right?
Was it a religious dispute?
I thought it was a money.
Telling Isaac Hayes to fuck himself is insane.
Yeah.
They got to that part where they were like, this isn't going to work out.
I believe he was a Scientologist.
And because they did that episode, he was like, I'm not fucking with you.
Yeah.
Well, great episode too.
But they, Tom Cruise, what a crash.
That was such a good episode.
But anyway, they came up with this episode.
They basically killed Chef.
And instead of using Chef's real voice, they generated, but it was like intentionally
bad.
Like they did it on purpose.
They did like a shitty version of like his dubbed voice.
And it was basically, it was so funny what they did.
And they made Chef just want to fuck the kids.
And then they killed them.
And it's like this whole thing.
But that was a very petty move.
Yeah.
It was a very sound.
partner approach to like fuck you.
Like we're going to just destroy your character.
Yeah, the entire legacy of chef was over.
So, but that's like another take on it.
It's like, if you lean into it in a satire way, I wonder if there's different laws behind
that.
Because obviously people knew who chef was and the voice, whether or not it's a drawing or
not, people had an identity of chef at that point.
But then you just, you know, degrade him and kill him off.
Yeah.
And, but I think that's like the good part of AI, say for like family guys.
Because doesn't Seth do a bunch of those voices?
Yeah.
I mean, if you're one of those, and even with South Park,
don't those creators do a few of those voices as well?
Most of them.
Like, to me, that's where AI can be great.
Like, that just cut production in half as far as time.
Like, they can pump out more content now
because they don't have to sit and record every single voice
and do this, like, manually.
If they can just write it and then put it in a system,
it would just save like six months.
Yeah, you're awesome.
But I mean...
That's what I'm...
I'm saying.
But they're also going to, a lot of people are going to lose jobs, too.
But that's with every time we upgrade a computer, someone loses a job.
So, yeah.
I mean, someone will lose a job, but I also have seen how technology has made it to where
we need more people that know how to do this thing too, though.
Yeah.
You just got to get a different job.
It's cutting out creatives.
That's why I tell people do not go into creativity, go into tech.
Don't go into creativity.
I think it goes hand in hand.
It can, but what they're doing is cutting creative jobs and creating more.
work for tech people, for people who know tech, to create programs where you can manipulate
these voices and do those types of things. Yeah, I mean, but that's where schools, and we know
the curriculum is not trying to prepare us for the real world whatsoever, and I doubt they would
change it now. But I think schools should have a drastic change in curriculum. Like, if everything
is going to fully go this way, with every career, not just entertainment shit, we need to
prepare the next generation to be able to do that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Did you guys catch staying on music.
Jay Cole did a feature with T. Grizzly on Blow for Blow.
They shot a video in New York.
Oh, and I didn't forget that mall when we started the music topic said, you know, your boy,
Jay Cole just put something out, like just do it out there.
Yeah.
Just like, oh, hey, oh, you saw he put a verse out.
I think this, I think this is the best verse that he probably dropped this year.
Well, that of the recent features.
That a few people dropped this year.
Yeah.
coming off the Collegreens Daylight record to this in a week.
Now, Cole is, despite everything,
Cole might be the best rapper this year.
Oh, quickly.
He don't get to get that crown no more.
I don't want to hear that.
Before we do that, before that.
He don't get that crown no more, man.
I don't know if anyone's rapping like Jay Cole right now.
He rapping his asshole.
I'm not taking that away from that.
This feature, he went crazy on the day.
Is anybody rapping like Jay Cole, though?
Is anybody rapping like Jay Cole?
Right now.
You can't name one person rapping like Jay Cole right now.
listen, man.
Is anybody rapping like J Cole?
Yes or no.
All I'm saying is that best rapper shit,
he don't get to wear that crown no more.
Is anybody rapping like J.
Cole?
We won't even,
let's take the crowns out of it.
Is anyone in September of 24
rapping like Jekle?
He rapping.
I'm not going to,
I can't take another way from him.
No, he rapping.
God damn.
But I said that last week when we came in.
I said that he rapping is that.
But we never for him to say,
you're asking you a direct question.
You never hear him to say Jay Cole can't rap,
or he got a whack verse.
Like, that's not, I don't even think it's possible for Jay Cole to put out a Wackverse.
I'm just saying when you start saying he's the best rapper, no, no, no.
We took that out.
Is anybody out rapping J. Cole right now?
He raping.
No.
Thank you.
All right.
He rapping his.
Oh, that boy, skating.
I saw a bunch of other podcasts having, like, the MVP conversation of the year.
I saw a futures name being thrown around, which I agree.
Futures had a great year.
I like the conversation of let's take out the Drake and Kendrick Beef.
Like, because that obviously took up.
That's the highlight of the year no matter what.
Mm-hmm.
but if you take that out, has anyone wrapped better than Jermaine Cole in 2024?
If you include his EP and these last three features, has anyone wrapped better than Jermaine Cole in 2024?
J.Maine.
She, you can include Kendrick in the beef.
Has anyone wrapped better than J. Cole?
I can't find one.
No, he rapping. He's putting out of heat.
Here.
Roy, I, it ain't no denying that. It ain't no denying that.
He putting out some verses, but I'm just saying once I hear,
niggas start saying best rapper.
No, no, no, no, no.
That is totally, we not, no.
Rapping his ass off, though.
He's putting out some verse.
And this verse with Tee Grizzly is hard.
Tee got off, too.
Tee Grizzlies.
Tee Grizzly is so amazing.
Rory, you mentioned the daylight theory,
the conspiracy that you came up with of Colchusing aside last episode.
I wanted to mention, I saw it on the timeline since that,
that a lot of people were saying that the song with daylight was actually done in the
sessions when they recorded Pye, which would have come out of the last installment of the
Dreamville camp, so long before the beef.
Dude, I had every producer behind the scenes person hit me after that to try to say, yo,
that ASAB rocky shit was done way before.
It was agreed upon.
Yo, that daylight shit happened in Atlanta when they were recording that.
When they were doing the D-A, yeah.
But if you guys remember my point before of how calculated Cole is and how much he understands
perception and understands the internet.
The times I've been in the studio with Cole
Wait, wait, wait, wait, he is on the timeline
He understands everything that's happening
Wait, let's look at the optics
He didn't do that just for the fuck of it
Wait, hold on
So you're saying that these verses
Were recorded and laid before the beef?
Yes, the only one
Oh, so this done, we don't even know
What he sound like coming after the beef
No, no, the T Grizzly
Oh, I thought about to say this is old
The daylight one and the ASEAP Rocky one
Were done before the beef.
Oh, okay, all right.
But this last one, this is essentially,
the drum with Tee Grizzly is essentially
the first time we're hearing Cole
we don't post beef outside of grippy
we don't know if that's a
grippy was done before the beef too
grippy was done
so we do know based on what we do know
from having conversations behind the scenes
this verse with T. Grizzly is
the one verse that he recorded
and laid after the beef
correct maybe
from what I was told and we never
know what sources so I don't want to say it as a fact
because that's how everything gets weird
as a fact cold bars
okay cool no
why not
are Cole Bias. No, he said, call bars.
Ask him, he know
when this was late and this was written.
No, I'm not. I just want to know because now
if you're telling me all of these verses
is before the beef, y'all can't
talk as spices, y'all talking. I still think Cole
has the power with all these songs to say no,
don't put it out. So I'm still standing on my point with
optics. It looks like he drew a line
in the sand of who he's fucking with who he's not.
I don't care if they were recorded before.
That's what I was telling everyone that was hitting.
It matters. And that's why I want to ask you, how does it matter?
Do you think after the beat, he just
lost his voice like they took his powers like the
monster? It can happen. To me or him?
It can happen. I'm talking to him. He over here like
if this was recorded before, I don't know.
Cole can't rap no more. It could happen.
Dropped out the beef. Well, first of all my question was
24. All these verses were recorded in 2020.
2024. That's what my original question was, who is
rap better than Jermaine Cole in 2024? You can't
find one. Post beef. No, no post beef all year.
January to September. It is post beef. It is post beef.
Nobody. Tell me if
if he writ this before the beef
after the beef.
Oh, wait.
It would matter.
I want to know what he sounds
like after the beef.
How does that not matter?
You got this T. Grizzly record is crazy.
Did he recorded after the beef?
Now you're saying you think so, exactly.
So I'm saying, did he or did he not?
I just want to know.
Either way, the verses is hard.
I'm just saying, when did he record it?
Why does it matter, though?
Yeah, why does that matter?
Because if you coming after after that beef and him not
wanting to engage with Kendrick and doing that whole shit at Dreamville
Fest, I want to know what he sounds like after that.
I want to know what he's writing after that.
But what do you think happened?
Like, he looked like, I don't, bro, he couldn't, he couldn't sleep.
I want to know what a rapist sounds like they couldn't sleep.
What you mean?
I'm just, this is not a, a logical question.
Did he write this before after the beat?
Did he Merris's point like, no, he didn't just shrink like the monstars.
You don't know that.
You don't know that.
You don't know that.
You don't know that.
You don't know that.
It happens.
Stan Simmons.
It happens.
I just want to be on record that Julian.
was the one that compared J-Cole to Ben Simmons,
not us.
No, whoa.
Dreamville affiliate.
No.
You can't blame us for shit on Jay-Cole.
You just said he was Ben Simmons.
I was providing an example of someone that lost there.
Of who you think Cole is.
All right.
That's not at all.
At all what I was saying.
I had to flip it because it's on us.
Anytime we say something negative.
And I'm not saying sometimes people lose their powers.
The monster thing.
I said in a perfect example that would be Ben Simmons.
You didn't have to explain that bullshit.
We understood what he was talking.
Absolutely.
People lose their confidence.
Absolutely.
I don't think Cole lost his confidence.
I think after he saw what happened, he was very confident in his decision.
Was he?
Yes.
I don't know if he was confident in it.
From this song, just a light in the mood here, I learned L.L. Cool J's first name.
You didn't know his name was James Todd Smith?
Ladies, love.
Who else knew that it was James Todd Smith?
Yes, yes.
Actually, we did it.
No, that wasn't born during the James Todd Smith era.
What you're talking about?
I don't know.
I heard that line.
I was at the gym this morning and I looked up.
I was like, James Todd Smith.
And then I saw it.
I was like, oh, that makes sense.
See, this is...
Well, no, no, no, I got this.
I'm glad that it's...
I'm learning.
Yes, it's cool to witness people learn things about rappers and rap history, like, in real time.
So, yes, Julian...
When was his James Todd Smith album?
Todd Smith, right there.
Todd Smith?
2006.
Where's the James?
Oh, my bad, bro.
Well, ladies love cool James or Cool J is what we all know.
It's his stage name.
Yeah, but like L. Cool J.
I didn't even know the J was for James.
What did you think it was for?
Just Jay.
Fuck it, right?
Cool Jay.
Julian.
I thought it was Julian.
Like, what?
Julia?
Stupid.
Fuck it.
I get it.
Um, but great record.
Who produced it?
I love to be.
Pierre Boren.
Oh, which funny story with that.
He didn't know about this placement.
He said he found out when the song dropped that, uh, that hits his first time with a, a Cole record.
He was very excited about it.
That's dope.
It's pretty cool.
Yeah, Pierre's dope.
I don't know, man.
the pace that Cole is keeping up at right now.
Like the narrative's going to switch.
What's the narrative?
I think when the falloff drops,
I don't think we'll even be talking about
that Dreamville Fest stage situation.
Just say you won't,
but I'm gonna talk about it.
To be honest, nobody else is talking about it.
To the day I die,
I'm talking about that shit.
Get the fuck out of here.
And the record was dope.
That's why I'm mad at Cole.
It's like, why would you delete that?
I'm mad as fuck I can hear it.
Like delete later, so it's not like it wasn't out of the realm of possibility.
Wasn't the name of the project might delete later?
Yes.
He didn't delete the whole project.
He just deleted one.
Delete the whole fucking project.
Delete some of them.
No, no, no.
Delete the whole project.
Don't just delete the song.
Because if that song would have hit like, they're not like us.
You'd think he would have did that?
The song did well.
You think nobody was listening to the cold song?
Listen to what I'm saying.
If the song would have hit the way they not like us hit, do you think he would have went on that stage and did that?
Yes.
That shit did hit.
What's wrong with you?
I don't know.
If the song hit, like, they not like us, do you think he would have went on stage and did that?
I don't think any artists on earth would have still did it.
What are they talking about?
Just say no.
No artists would have done that.
No artists would have taken that song there.
I think he would have took it down faster.
You know, no.
Too many people listen to this shit.
Now, she think, hell.
We know you love Cole.
I get it.
I'm not.
First of all, don't talk to me like I can't be objective.
I'm not even.
I think if that would be.
You can't be objective when it comes to Cole.
Okay.
Were you proven that?
How have I proven that?
I was the first one.
coming in here saying now what the fuck would you do that I was the first one and now and now what
you're saying I'm saying that he's still the best nigga rapping right now period that's not
being objective how is that not objective it's not being objective because you can't answer who
rapping better than him so shit you ain't objective I said he rapping his ass off though I'm not
doubt but we asked you 40 different times and 40 different languages pig Latin included who's out
rapping him right now and you haven't named anybody I said he's rapping his ass off right now
that's what I said okay you can't be objective when it comes to Cole I get it okay you went to
college when he did. He was the soundtrack
of your dorm room. I get it. I understand.
That nine minute drill shit hit like
not like us. And Cole said,
I want to delete it. Ebe would be
on a telephone phone like Con Edison.
He would button fucking wires
to Coleson. That would be
he would have no Wi-Fi. And that's
why I say what I say. That's why I feel like it was
whack because he wouldn't have did it if that record
hit like that. That's all I'm saying.
But I don't think also like not like us
was for a specific type of
disc record. Like Cole was
really just checking the temperature.
Like, it wasn't one of those.
It wasn't intended to be one of those.
Where would that song play?
It ain't like it was intended to be one of those.
And then it didn't hit.
And then he was like, oh, I'm gonna take it down.
Like, that's what I'm saying.
Like, I think it was dope.
That's what I'm mad.
I'm like, why would you?
It was great.
Check the temperature.
We came in here before that.
I was like, I was.
Why would you delete that?
And that EP is fire.
And then tell us you can't sleep, man,
then going to love yours.
What is that?
Gotta love yours.
Okay.
Well, you caught me at the perfect time.
Jump up and see.
I also think, and we can close this, repeating what I said, last episode.
When Kendrick pops up on that album, I think Drake says something, and I think the beef is back on,
and I think Cole will be comfortable entering the ring again.
I think there will be a Drake.
This is my prediction.
There will be a Drake and Jake Cole Beach at some point.
Well, last time you got made a prediction, it came true, so y'all might want to be careful with y'all speak.
I think Kendrick is popping up on the fall off, and I think Drake right for.
so is going to feel a fucking way about it
and he's going to say something.
And I think Cole will have no issue coming back
in the ring and there will be a J. Cole
and Drake beef. But I think that I don't think
Cole would do that because I think that makes him look really whack
and it makes him look like he's afraid of Kendrick. Even
more than it already, people already think he is. I don't
think that he does that. Even if he wants to,
I don't think that he does it. You don't think
that he put Kendrick on his album? No, I don't think he
does that. He definitely does. I think
he might do it twice. Because
that makes him, that makes you look, because, no,
not him putting Kendrick on the album. I don't
don't think he gets into a back and forth with Drake because I think then you look, if you
respond to Drake, then you look like, oh, so you was afraid of Kendrick, but you're not afraid
to Drake. It looks, I don't think Cole going to go out like that. He might put Kendrick on
out on, but if Drake, um, responds, I don't think that he's going to respond back to Drake.
I can't. But you do agree that he look a little funny taking that record down.
I don't think he looks funny taking it around. I think he shouldn't have did it. I will say a
a million times and die on that hill. I don't think that he should have did that. But you don't
But I can understand why he did it.
I can understand.
Doesn't mean I agree with the decision.
Why do you feel like he?
That's objectivity, by the way.
Why do you feel like he did that?
We've already talked about that a million times
a million different episodes.
The listeners don't want to hear it anymore.
If the falloff is the first certified cold classic,
even though I love 2014 Forestals Drive.
That's a classic to me personally.
Same.
Who says that's not a classic?
Some it's.
I feel like we still need more time, but to make it a certified place.
I personally feel that way.
But if this fall off is a certified.
Out the gate, we know, all right, this is a classic out.
Like, when good kid came out, we were like, well, this is our generation's first classic.
Does that change the narrative to you?
My beat of Darkness of Fantasy.
The way he rap and making music right now.
You said, does it change the narrative as far as what?
Yes.
I mean, of course, if anyone drops a classic, that has to change the...
Nobody...
I don't think anybody's going to give him credit for the classic.
That's what I think is going to piss me off and make me start throwing these bricks from the walls.
I think nobody is going to give him credit for that classic.
I know it's going to be a classic and I don't think anyone's going to give him credit for it.
How do you know what's going to be a classic?
Because I know.
Because I know.
How you know it's going to be a classic?
I know what's going to be a classic.
What are you talking about?
I know what's going to be a classic.
I don't know what's going to be a classic.
I just know Cole is rapping really, really well and I'm excited.
100%.
He's rapping his ass off.
Can't nobody take that from him.
He's rapping his ass off.
I'm just saying as far, I want to hear because, like you said, these may have been recorded
and laid before to be.
That just changes things.
I want to hear him post beef.
Like, what does he sound like?
What is he talking like?
All right.
You know he's been working on the fall off for like two years now.
He's been rapping about working on.
All those songs is probably old.
So if he keeps, let's say the fall off has 12 records,
just throwing a number up.
And nine of them were from before the beef
because he's been working on it for two years.
Obviously, I had to take a break during that entire thing.
But he's back on his rollout.
Is that okay with you because they're pretty beef?
No, I want to hear him
I want to hear what he sounds like post beef
Because I want to hear how he's talking
I think he's going to address everything on the intro
And I have no info on that
That's just my guess
Okay, well
I'm listening either way
Whenever it drops I want to hear it
Or the outro
I would love for 2025
For this shit to start back up
Well it's gonna come back in some form
Because that's when the Super Bowl is
So
Yeah but that's you know
We already know the Super Bowl's happening
I'm talking about a feature on the album though
Big is the what?
Okay.
All right, we're going to see.
Before we get off music, like I was trying to tell you more,
it was a very good music Friday.
We got, I think, one of the best R&B albums of the year,
Leon Thomas Mutt, Fire.
Don't record.
That Mutt record is hard.
Yeah, I really, really, really like his album.
And about to be on tour.
I look forward to that.
To me, Leon is right now,
probably the best writer in R&B currently.
high up there on production as well.
So it's good to see him getting
his actual individual artists
just do here.
Because everyone,
your favorite artists run to him
to get they saws.
So it's good to see that.
Galant put out an album,
which I feel like it's been a minute.
He was putting out Lucy's,
and I've always loved Galant.
But Zinc, he just put out,
is the name of the album,
brought Damaris's homegirl back.
Nayo's back.
Really?
Great to hear her.
Does she sound good?
Sounds great.
I've always fuck with Glam.
So happy that he put out a project.
We briefly talked about Tommy Richmond on some more AI shit, but I enjoyed the first listen.
I have to like, actually, I hate to say live with it, but I gave it one listen and I liked it.
Yeah.
He sounds cool.
I don't understand that Tommy Richmond hate.
I guess people are just, you know.
Because he's white?
Yeah, well, that adds to it.
But people feel like it kind of happened really fast for him.
It did.
It feels a little plant-ish.
Okay.
You can't plant someone to a number one song, though.
You can't what?
Sort of.
That's the definition of a plant.
Not like that.
Yeah, okay.
Yeah, I think, no, a plant is if they bought him that number one.
They didn't buy him that number one.
He earned it.
I mean, I'm sure United Masters invested, but what do we talk about?
Okay, and we're not going to have a full plant conversation, I promise.
I'm okay with plants when they're talented.
Me too.
Thank God for planting that seed.
No, look, I'm all for if the plant is actually talented, I'm cool.
Yeah.
It's when the plant is not talented
and it's like, all right, fan,
we can see right through this.
Yeah, it was an easy listen.
I don't mean that in a bad way.
Do that shit on.
Didn't feel like I needed to skip anything.
It was one of those I think I could just throw on in the car
and throw my phone over there.
It'd be fine.
Like, it was cool.
Did we miss any singles?
Odda, Odds Rida, and Young Chris has an EP out case closed.
Okay.
I think that's my new gym soundtrack.
They're on there,
shooting a bunch of niggas selling a bunch of dope
talking a bunch of shit
but nah they're wrapping their ass off
that's definitely one of my favorite
EP's this year case closed
Odessa Rada and young Chris
real real Philly
Philly balls on that joint so check that out
I have one
the Maxo Cream crack air record with Tyler
Creator is incredible
such a random pairing every time but they don't miss
like so good
and shout out to Maxo
Kiana's drop in
two new singles on Wednesday.
I know you're excited.
I saw you retweeting that.
I mean, you know how I feel about her, so I'm just as excited.
I'm so excited.
She writes music for me.
I'm ready.
Stuff I didn't listen to.
There was a Lady Gaga album that came out on Friday?
Well, the movie is coming out next week.
Okay.
I'm uninformed.
This is around Joker?
Yeah.
Okay.
The movie's coming out October 4th.
Have you guys seen Mario getting killed?
They're calling him Unlucky Day.
Oh yeah, the new song
It just sounded like
I saw that tweet
But I didn't click the actual video
Why they don't
Why don't you know
They sound
They said the song
Sound like it dropped out
A Lucky Day pocket
Why they
See they shouldn't
Y'all just should
Well we're gonna play the song
For you
We're gonna mute it for you
But we're gonna play a snippet of the song
For you so that you can hear it
Yeah I want to hear it
Because I didn't click the actual tweet
When I saw
Okay
That's cool
That's on you
It's the music
No it's not even the song
It's the visual too
It was the same.
Like, look at him.
Don't tell me D. Miles produced that because that was definitely left off algorithm.
And they was like, yo, Mario, I got this record.
That's very lucky day.
Very Bruno, very Anderson Park.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's cocaine music.
If it's the producers, if same producers, then you understand it.
You can't be mad.
And not taking anything away from Mario, but that sounds like Lucky Day right now.
Because algorithm doesn't sound like the rest of Lucky's albums.
Like, this is right now, Lucky Day.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That was definitely a record that didn't make it.
Yeah.
They said Mario, they put it on his ass.
They're like, now you want to sound like Lucky Day when you fumbled the bag.
You won that versus.
And then in the midst of everything that was going on at the time, you said, damn, everybody asking for my comeback.
What do I do?
Drop a song with Tori Lanes.
When I have a woman fan base.
No, I'm talking about when he did the verses.
They confiscated his equipment from the cell.
You didn't hear me.
Oh, okay.
When he did the verses.
a song called Main One with Tori.
Yeah.
Everybody was asking for you to come back.
Everybody was so excited.
They're like, y'all don't give Mario his flowers.
Agreed.
And then you come on and was like, you know what?
Right here in the mist all this shit.
Tori Lane song.
That made no sense.
Who was on your team?
Tori.
See, that's the thing.
Like a lot of legacy acts, I'll give them bail
because they really don't pay attention
to what's going on right now.
They were probably pitched,
yo, Tori's hot right now.
Didn't look into it.
That's a team thing.
That's not a team.
Or maybe Mario was taking a thing.
Nothing to look into.
That was the biggest case that was going on in the middle of when he dropped that line.
His monthly listeners were the same.
They actually think they went up.
Mario's?
No, Tori Lanes.
I wouldn't do that, but I'm just saying if you don't have a good team, they'll be like, yo, look what he's doing numbers.
He's hot right now.
Because he shot a woman.
When you want to appeal to women, you're going to go, turn it on.
Yeah.
Like, speaking of people, they tried to cancel.
Me?
You as well.
You as well.
Don't be mad at me.
I haven't listened to it yet.
But on the ride home, I am going to listen to that, the baby album.
Why are you saying don't get mad at you?
I don't know.
I feel like people try to cancel them.
It's not okay to say you like the baby.
Oh.
No.
I'm sure there's crack on there.
Well, the baby is, you know.
He's really good.
Yeah, how I felt about him.
Just, you know, went through a little personal, some things he said.
he shouldn't have said.
He went a little crazy on us.
But talent, the talent is there, though, without a death.
As long as he changed.
He makes good music, man.
He's got to switch his flow up a little.
Yeah.
Double time.
Yeah, double time.
It's old.
It gets old.
It gets old.
But I feel the same way about him that I felt about Wayne.
When Wayne first came out and I always saw people, I said,
as soon as he gets away from Mani Fresh production and change his sound a little bit,
like he's, you know, he's going to hit another level.
I feel the same way about the baby.
As soon as he changes the music a little bit and,
and start, you know, switching up his flow,
I think his talent and creativity is undeniable.
Wait, can we read this iTunes script?
Because it's already starting out funny.
When it comes to addressing controversy,
the baby has repeatedly shown himself to be more,
I need to know what they end of that sentence with.
Yeah, here we go.
I need to know what they said.
And who wrote it?
All right.
When it comes to controversy,
when it comes to addressing controversy,
the baby has repeatedly shown himself
to be more than willing to respond on record.
After on-stage remarks in front of a music festival crowd back in 2021, I would love to cut to that clip, led to considerable national backlash.
The Charlotte, North Carolina rapper spoke on the matter of the impact of his own love for child.
Okay, now they just kind of got into the Jesus as long.
Oh, we were reading you guys' bios at the beginning.
Peach, I mean, Pete should bring that back up.
You're the ghost writer, so you want to laugh at us.
You wrote it.
Yeah, those are your words.
I know, but it's still funny.
But that's like, they're going to do that with every press release for any podcast.
Like, real women, real opinions, real talk.
Never heard.
Takes.
No one's safe in this podcast.
Finally, we get to some real conversation.
Now, I really wrote some bullshit.
No, that's what we're telling you.
That's what we're telling you.
We know that.
That's what we're telling you.
The premise of New Roy Amal will be to bring forward both unexpected and long-await
conversations into the culture, both pushing it forward and appreciating how far it's come.
Guests will be from both inside and outside of the hip-hop realm. We will be deep diving into topics
from hip-hop, R&B and pop music, sports, mental health, entertainment, and much more.
The host-
Don't laugh at me. The host looks to show their growth and learn new information in real-time.
He's shown no growth. With their growing, loyal. We've regressed. We became worse people.
And learn new information in real time with their growing, loyal, family-based audience, creating a true community.
Our audience has definitely grown.
We have a true community.
But everything you said before that, we have regressed.
We're not better people.
I came into this game of writer.
All right.
Well, that's, you can't bite my.
I came into my writer.
I'm not biting.
I'm making fun of you.
Call back.
I came into this game of the writer, which is true.
That's one of my favorite clips.
That's one of my favorite clips.
Did that ever get clipped or did I just get made fun of for that?
I don't remember.
Yeah, I don't know.
It was one of my favorite fucking moment in the streets of all times.
Definitely up there.
Who said that?
That was also like when you did, I did a, you being pretentious is like one of my favorite
things about this podcast because you saying I did a night in New York still one of my favorite
lines that was ever said on the podcast.
He lives here.
I was coming.
It makes sense.
From Petty.
We get it.
I was coming from France.
Did a night in New York and I went to Philly with you guys.
Mosset.
Mosset.
Who is he's Jimmy Kimball?
You call me Jimmy Kimball.
Jimmy Fallon?
That shit was so fucking funny.
Oh my God.
He was just trying to bring up that he was coming from France.
That's all he was trying to.
So he had to say.
You add.
All right.
That's literally all he had to say.
I did a night in New York was fucking that.
Yeah, that was classic.
I don't think I've ever read like a good podcast description in my life.
Or even like an album description on DSPs for that matter.
I'm sure.
They're always trash.
I don't know if that like has to be a theme.
Even some classic albums have the worst DSP description ever.
Yeah.
It's always.
always bad. Just play the music. And ours is
up there. Yeah, just pod. Just shut
the fuck up and pop, man.
The Hoc2a. Finally, some unfiltered
conversations from this group of friends.
The Hoctua clip, chick, that
chick has a funny bio.
By the way, her podcast is like number two on
Apple. None of this shit is fucking... I hate
you know, sometimes I hate myself for not
having audacity. It ain't
about talent. I have talent. Way more talent
that people holding their pinky thumb. I have no
audacity. Audacity is what gets people
far.
To write a better description on that?
Or here's the thing in general.
Coming off her unprecedented viral moment and the biggest meme of the biggest meme of all time.
Not true.
Haley Welch is ready to show the world that she's much more than a 30 second clip and she's
here to stay.
And then it's like the with celebrities, comedy, sports.
Like, all right.
Before we get to voicemails, I don't want to compliment Drake on this podcast anymore.
But he might be the only artist I've seen do that in a good way.
I think it was views or if you're reading this
where he just wrote out all the shit
that people were tweeting like,
Drake is soft,
Drake is pussy.
Like that was his album description.
All in caps.
You think he wrote it or somebody on his team?
I think as a collective they probably did.
But it was the first time I'd ever seen on,
I don't even know if it was Apple Music at that point,
just iTunes.
Yeah.
Like a funny, creative way to put something right there.
But jokes aside,
I did want to check on you over the weekend.
Aside from being a Knicks fan.
I know Julius is your guy.
So, uh,
my guy. Seeing him,
him being traded,
I know that was a different,
different thing for you than it was probably for the rest of us.
As much as we love Julius Randall as a,
as a Nick and as a Nick's fan.
He wasn't my friend the way he was with you.
So having your guy out of the city,
I know it probably was a weird weekend for you.
Did you cry?
Did I cry?
No.
Um, it was,
um,
I was hoping that it didn't happen.
I think that,
you know, when you, when somebody gets traded, you know, depending on how you look at it,
another team wants you when they see value in you, but then at the same time another team
sees the opportunity to probably get something that they feel like is a better fit for them.
I just felt like the Knicks, you know, Julius, obviously before Jalen Brunton came and, you know,
has had the seasons that he's had with the Knicks, which has been incredible.
I think Julius injected some life back into the city, some life back into the organization,
made him respectable again, brought a certain level of toughness and grit that New York fans
are used to.
You're talking about the 90s Knicks with Doc Rivers, Anthony Mason, Oakley, Patrick Ewing.
Julius felt like he was from that cloth of just aggressive, doesn't look pretty all the time,
but goes out there and plays hard.
I mean, we don't have this Knicks team without Julius Randall.
After the mellow years, it went wrong.
Right back to it being corny for the Knicks.
Nobody wanted to.
Even Kevin Durant when it was between the nets to the Knicks.
He was like, why the fuck what I have?
There's no culture over there.
We're not fucking with them.
Right.
Julius really brought the entire organization back.
He made it okay for people to want to go.
For Brunson.
Yeah.
To even be comfortable going over there.
So that was my only thing.
I wanted to see what it looked like with Brunson and Julius healthy for full season.
Same.
I thought that the, you know, Leon Rose and those guys.
the front office would give Julius the opportunity to, you know, I just feel like you reward
players for what they started.
And obviously Julius got hurt last year and wasn't able to help them with their playoff
push.
But even when they, once they got eliminated, the first thing that a lot of Knicks fans said
was, yo, healthy Julius next year, this team could go to the finals.
You know what I mean?
So that was kind of the energy going into it.
and I thought that they would let it happen
and let the team, you know, build off of what they started.
But they felt like Carl Anthony Towns was a better fit for them
and a better piece to their future.
But at the same time, I mean, Julius is going to a great situation as well.
He's going to Minnesota with a great young team,
a superstar and Olympian with Anthony Edwards.
I think he's going to fit great over there.
You think they'll get along?
Yeah, Julius is a, he's his personality.
He's a very, he wants,
to win. And I think that as long as you're a player that wants to win, I think that other,
you know, teammates, other guys are going to find it easy to get along with you because y'all
are on at least the same page of, I want to win. Like, I don't, I'm not here for no personal
ego, things like that. I want to win and I want to win now. So it was fucked up to see Julius
get traded. And I know how much he loved the city, just having personal conversations with
him throughout the years. He loved New York City. He loved everything about it, the culture,
just, you know, the energy.
You know, it was just fun to play in the garden every night for him.
So I know that he's hurt to leave.
But at the same time, I know he is because the type of person he is, again,
he's anxious to show that Nick front office that they made a mistake.
He was saying, like he's anxious to do that as well.
When talking with him, did he find out kind of the way the rest of us did?
Or is this something that was?
I have not spoken to him since the trade happened.
Okay.
I text him.
Because it was a very abrupt and weird time that the trade.
happens.
It was sudden.
Yeah.
Yeah, I mean.
That made me feel like Julius found out maybe an hour before we found out type thing.
I hope not.
I hope they gave him more respect and courtesy than that.
Yeah.
But either way, Julius is going to be fine.
He's a dog, man.
He's going, you know, whatever jersey it is, he feels like he's one of the best players on
the floor at all times.
So no matter where he goes, he's going to be good.
But going to the Timberwolves with that young team and they got to the finals last year, right?
Was it, who did Boston play in the finals?
Was it in Minnesota?
They lost in the Western Conference finals,
but they got there, lost to Dallas.
But I think that the Timberwolves have a good young nucleus.
I think Julius brings, you know, a veteran presence there,
you know, being one of Kobe's babies.
You know, he brings that energy into the locker on that work ethic as well.
So I think it's going to be a good fit for him.
But again, I was sad to,
not really sad, but it was fucked up.
I was like, damn, I was hoping that the Knicks gave him that opportunity for him and Jalen Brunson
to kind of see what they built all the way through.
But, you know, it's business at the end of the day and they feel like Carl Anthony Towns is a better piece for what they're trying to build.
So we'll have to see how it works out.
But how do you feel about getting Carltony Towns?
Calling County Towns is a really good player.
There's no doubt about that.
I just don't know if Carlinetowns has that.
Has that dog in him like Julius come playoff time when you're playing against guys like Embed.
I just don't know if Carl can, if he has what it takes.
He's gotten to fight with Inde.
That was his rival.
They beat the shit out of each other.
Yeah, but I mean, that doesn't really do much as far as wins and losses.
You know, again, I'm not going to sit here and act like Carltony Towns.
It's not a really good player.
He's a phenomenal player, phenomenal talent.
But I just, it's certain things, man, like, you know, it's certain things in players that
think get overlooked and you start paying attention to just the name on the back of the jersey
and, you know, the stats when it's really about the other things that don't show up.
And I think that Julius embodies all of those things, especially when you talk about a team
like the Knicks have.
I think that he was perfect for that team, his demeanor, his energy, his style of play.
But either way, I mean, calling the town, Julius Randall.
I mean, no team loses in that.
I think this is more just a personal what you think fit.
obviously the Knicks had success with Julius.
So we'll have to see.
We have to see what happens from here or not.
But it is sad to see somebody.
I know that personally love New York City have to leave.
But, you know, he'll be just fine with him.
We also lost one of the Nova Nix and one of Rory's brothers in White Trilogy.
That was as much as, you know, I liked Julius and even came out to one of our live shows, came on stage.
Like, really, really good person in the time that I spent around him.
DeVincenzo, I saw myself.
in him. That hurt. Like, I felt seen
on the court. That was a while.
You said, you saw yourself. I saw myself inside of it.
I know, pause.
No, I was rough, man, because the Nova Nix
have a special place in my heart. And like,
this lifelong tragedy that it's been to be a Nix fan,
those three guys really gave me hope.
Yeah. That one was tough, man. I think
they're going to now have to... McBride is going to be
worked into the fucking ground now, because I just
our guard situation isn't really the greatest.
Because Carl Anthony Towns now has to be a center.
No, he doesn't have to be it.
He still played a four.
Who's going to play the five?
We don't have Mitchell Robinson.
We don't have Mitch yet.
Who's our five?
Mitchell Robinson is gone?
He still hurt.
Oh, but he's going to have to play the five.
He'll be ready for, he'll be ready this season though, right?
At some point.
Not in the beginning.
But at some point, he'll play.
We hope.
But Carl Anthony Towns to start the year is going to have to be the five, I think.
That's what I'm saying.
I just don't, when do they play Philly?
How early do the Knicks play Philly?
Where are they at on the schedule?
Because that's going to be, that's going to be the game that I want to see.
I want to see how Carl matches up against NB
because potentially they will see each other in the playoffs.
He better give him a wild elbow just for Mitchell Robinson.
That bullshit that NB did.
Yeah.
Yeah, we play the first game is November 12th at Philly.
That's early.
We're going to see early.
Oh, we might have to go to that game.
Yeah, we're going to see it early.
We get to see it early this year.
So, I mean, again, I'll call Anthony Towns is a really, really good player.
I just don't know if he has that dog factor in him.
I mean, he's from the same St. Joe's Hall of Fame class as my father.
So I feel like he does have that dog.
They got inducted into high school Hall of Fame together.
So I feel like it's there if you St. Joe's alumni.
Yeah, it has to be there.
That is cool.
He grew up a Yankee and Nick's fan.
And so that is kind of, I always like one of...
He's a Jersey kid.
I always like when a player can return home.
By a minute, I mean like really a minute, but...
Yeah, I get it, but it was just tough to see them trade Julius
because I just wanted to see them give that unit a chance to achieve something.
Same.
But again, outside of the personal stuff, I'm not mad at the trade.
If everyone stays healthy, this could be the best Knicks team that we've had.
If they stay healthy, if...
Yeah.
I'm not mad.
OG stays healthy
in the last,
since the 90s,
this would be the best
next team we would have,
period.
Including mellows,
Stademeyer days,
everything.
While you on the schedule,
can you pull up
when Minnesota comes to the garden?
But they don't play each other
that much.
Oh,
once a year.
Yeah.
Minnesota only comes here once.
But they play Brooklyn,
so they'll be in New York twice.
Let's see.
They're a preseason game,
October 13th.
Okay, that's next two weeks.
First game,
they play each other is at Minnesota.
we play at home against them January 17th.
We're going to see.
How far as Paisley Park?
I'm predicting a 40, 20 game from Julius that night.
We should go.
He'll have 40 and 20 that night.
He'll go crazy his first game back in the time.
I've never been to Minnesota before.
Minnesota's a nice city.
I'm sure it is.
Really nice city.
It's not New York.
Yeah, but I'll definitely have to go to Minnesota and catch some games.
Weird comparison.
I'm saying.
It's definitely not New York.
York. Julius has played for, he's had a really great, in terms of teams he's played for. I mean, he did the one year in New Orleans, but he's been on the Lakers, the Knicks, now a really good Minnesota team. Like, he's had a good, you know, like in terms of just guys he's playing with competitive teams. Like he hasn't really played for a dud team. I mean, Julius's career, what he's been able to achieve a two time, three time all star now, two time all star, something like that. I mean, what he's been able to achieve? Most improved player on the Knicks. Yeah, I mean, you know, bringing the Knicks back to a respectable level.
of playing. And you got to remember, he broke his leg as first game of his career.
Yeah. So this is, you know, somebody when you talk about resilience and being able to
bounce back from, you know, adversity and get over some obstacles, Julius is obviously
proven that he can do that. But this is just one of those things where the Knicks just
felt like Carl Anthony was a piece that they, you know, probably wanted and felt like was a better
fit than Julius. But I am happy that they didn't send Julius to a situation to where
it would be a rebuilding thing. Like, Minnesota is going to be right there at the top of the
West again this year. So Julius should get a chance to go out there and bring his game and
his, you know, his energy to that young, exciting team. I think him and Anthony Edwards
together is going to be fun to watch. And on another note in sports, sad, sad news in basketball.
NBA legend, philanthropist, humanitarian, just the all-around amazing, amazing individual.
Rest in peace, to DeKinbe Motumbo, four-time defensive player of a year, eight-time all-star,
one of the greatest personalities and figures in the NBA that we've probably had.
One of the best shot blockers ever.
On and off the court, just the things that he's done for his country, building hospitals,
just literally using his light to help others his entire career.
Sadly passed away after a battle with brain cancer.
So it's sad, you know, you see these players that you grew up watching
and, you know, being fans of.
And now that, you know, obviously we're all older,
but to see somebody like De Kimmel Tumbo passed away
is definitely something you open your phone and you see that,
you like, damn, like that hits a little different.
So rest of the peace to the Kimmel.
Kenbei Mutumbo.
Yeah.
Prays and condolences to his family.
And, you know, hopefully the work that he's done here,
it will be continued to carry on,
especially in his native land.
The things that he's been doing over there throughout the years is incredible.
So again, prayers, condolences,
and rest of peace to DeKembe Matumbo.
You've got mail.
Do we have voicemails, but before you answer, Julian,
remember the couple that was married in Chevy Chase, Maryland,
that came to our DC show?
Yes.
They had mentioned that they,
wanted me to send a screenshot of the flowers that were sent back to me.
I have it, but we lost their email.
So if you guys are listening, please either send us your email
or just do another voicemail so we can grab it.
It doesn't have to be a voicemail that we play.
I do want to send this for their wedding book because they did ask that.
Yeah, and my bad on that, this storage,
the system that we use for voicemails doesn't have much storage.
So after I play them, I tend to delete them immediately.
so that's my fault.
So yeah, send that voicemail.
Send another voicemail.
Put your email in it.
And then we'll get it settled.
How do you feel that you'll be in someone's wedding book?
I will be in the wedding book.
Why?
Well, in the screenshot,
because you know you can put a message
when you order flowers to send someone.
Yeah.
Like it's from the New Royal Mall team.
Yeah.
You're going to be in someone's wedding book.
Mall.
Oh, my name.
I thought you meant like my face.
I could send them photos of you too.
No, please don't.
Like just random photos I could send.
I'm cool.
Mall is good enough
You know why I love when it's your birthday
Because your sister always post the funniest
Fucking fucking photos of you
Oh yes I love it
Yo there was one where you looked like
Usher from the My Way video
What video?
That hat, right?
I think I screenshot it
Yo, every single birthday
She always posts a photo I'd never seen before
I wish she would stop
Why?
And stop tagging me
You're my sister
But why you're not reposting them
You had a photo like this
small.
No, I can promise you.
No, look at your text message,
Julie.
There's no photo of me like that.
Never happened.
Are you sure?
Because I just sent one to Julian just now.
When mascara on my face?
I mean, it's shadowy
because it looks like it was like the 90s.
Make sure you block her face out.
I don't want her face in it.
Okay.
Oh yeah, that was a...
That's not Usher in the My Way video?
Yeah, that was at somebody's Sweet 16, I think.
That's a sick hat.
What did you see that had you sew for
flexed. Probably some ass.
You look like Kel, Mitchell.
You do. You do look like Cal.
I didn't even think that that was all.
I never would put that together.
You look like Kel.
Thank you.
Not in real life, but in that picture.
That is a crazy chain.
Is that a croissage?
On who me?
A what, Roy?
What are they?
I don't know what that. That's like for the
croissant.
That's a croissant.
When you get there, I don't know what that's called.
It was the person's where was.
I forgot who was.
That was definitely a sweet 16.
What made you go with that hat?
Like, did you plan that days prior?
Like, you knew you was going to kill him?
You lay that on the bed?
Like, it's all white theme.
Yeah.
I got a hat from third half.
Yeah, I got to give them the cream,
the cream fedora.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
That's a common color that DeMaris would say.
That's actually not nut color.
That's a little bit too cream.
No.
That's like, that's gonorrhea nut color.
I was going to say unhealthy.
Yeah.
It's like the one that the guy slept with.
Did you end up doing anything?
for your birthday over the weekend?
No, I mean, I had the dinner
with two of my homeboys, that was it.
Oh, that's cute. Like, they forced me to.
Did you wear that hat? God, no.
Did they pay?
Hell yeah.
Fucking call me out my house and they make me pay.
Get the fuck out of it. I was, I was chilling.
I didn't have to come outside.
That would be kind of wild. Like, separate checks.
Yeah.
No, you dragged me out from my birthday.
I told me to meet y'all here.
Like, I'd had no intentions on coming outside today.
Well, yeah, again, that's my favorite part of your birthday season.
Yeah, she always finds a way to find.
I don't even know.
I didn't even know she still had those pictures.
Thank God that her IG is private.
Is it?
Because if some of those photos got out,
Reddit would have a field day.
I don't know if it's private or if people just don't know how to find her.
I don't know.
Let's not make them try to.
Yeah, of course.
Um,
voicemails.
Uh, yes.
A reminder, call in every tier has access to the voicemails on Patreon.
Um, and we'll get to them as soon as we can.
Here we go.
What's up?
So, Julian and baby Dee.
This is Bernie Con from Southern California.
So I just had a quick question.
A couple years back, I started hanging out with this girl that was actually an ex
of my best friend.
And we started going, you know, getting close.
And we fooled around, you know, a little bit.
But I had asked for permission.
I had asked my friend if he was cool with it to get his blessing.
And he said he didn't, it didn't bother him.
And a little backstory, like, I didn't really know them when they were together.
I wasn't really talking to my friend at that time.
So I never knew them as a couple.
It wasn't until years later after they were already broken up.
But you know, we hung out.
And she was feeling me.
And, you know, she was a baddie, in my opinion.
So, you know, of course, I was wanting to get some.
So my question was, are all of your friends' Texas off limits?
Yes.
Is that cool?
If they're cool with it.
No, it's not cool.
My scumbag, baby.
He said his name at beginning.
You're not a young baby.
Love is love.
You have what all says.
Not in love.
All right.
Take you guys later.
I love it.
He wanted to see what I say.
You're a piece of shit.
He said his name in the beginning, right?
You asked your friend for permission.
Bernie, he also put in this title, Bernie, aka B-Dog.
You're not B-Dog after you fuck your man's.
Be-dog and your man's girls.
Stop.
Because that has to be a nickname.
Your friends will call you if you have that there.
You're not B-Dog after you fuck my ex.
If it's your homeboy's ex.
You're fucking weekend at Bernie's.
If it's just a girl that he was just sleeping with,
I think it's fair game.
But X, no.
Yeah, X is wild.
I can't, you know I want to stick up for it.
X is a little wild, but this is the thing.
Once I ask you for permission and you say it's cool, then I don't want to hear nothing.
But that's not what happened.
He said he asked him for permission and his whole voice said it was cool.
After he beat.
Which is crazy.
He said that after?
No, he did not say.
No, he asked for permission after you beat.
No, he asked for forgiveness before.
What are you asking for?
Don't ask permission, just ask forgiveness.
Yeah, but he said he said he asked.
And I feel like once you know you got to ask, you know it's wrong.
Not exactly.
Wait, you're assuming to me.
The way he told that story, I'm positive he said it after.
Well, maybe we listened differently.
But he said that.
He said that.
That's crazy.
Hold on.
So I just had a quick question.
A couple years back, I started hanging out with this girl that was actually an ex of my best friend.
And we started going, you know, getting close.
And we fooled around, you know, a little bit.
But I had asked for permission.
I had asked for permission.
I had asked, which means...
I had asked my friend if he was cool with it to get his blessing.
And he said he didn't...
It didn't bother him.
So he asked first.
He asked first.
A real backstory, like, I didn't really know.
He said it backwards.
He said it backwards.
He said, I had asked for permission.
But either way, if you feel like you got to ask for permission, you mean that's like you know you're not supposed to be doing that.
I asked Roy permission before.
To do what?
To fuck someone?
Fuck one of his exes?
Yeah, but that's...
because you felt like that was wrong.
No, I just wanted to make sure that he...
I feel like asking for...
You ask you because you feel like it's wrong.
No, not exactly.
Demaris, what are we doing today?
You know, because from the top of the fucking show, we've been at it.
I don't know who that's asking for permission.
Stop acting for permission because you know it's wrong.
I'm talking to you.
You ain't talking to me.
Shit.
Was fucked up in those scenarios, though, because, like, you'll have some ego
if you have a friend to ask you that type of shit.
I mean, if you could get her, like, yeah.
That's exactly what we were saying.
Like, go ahead.
And then they end up getting her.
Then you're sitting there like,
but you should have said no.
You're asking because you feel like it's wrong.
Well, no, you want to check the temperature.
You might not feel it's wrong,
but your friend might feel like it's wrong.
You think it's like the temperature
going to be hot because it's wrong.
No, you listen, it might be cool to you, but.
It's hot to somebody else because it's wrong.
Because it's wrong.
You know it's wrong.
Not exactly.
It's some stuff that's cool to me that's hot to you.
I don't mean that you wrong or I'm right.
We people have different views.
A legitimate ex is because when you asked it wasn't a legitimate.
It wasn't a legitimate ex.
Well, there you go.
That changed.
Yeah, yeah. A legitimate ex to me is fucking...
But he did go on later to say that he didn't find out how they, how close they were until after.
He thought like, oh, that was just somebody he used to mess around with.
Yeah.
He found out, like, that they was in it and after.
He said he wasn't around when they were, you know, dating.
You might have been asleep in the car in Vegas.
But I had a friend that had asked me a long time ago.
Like, he had known I had slept with a woman and was just like, yo, like, you cool if I shoot her.
I've been a really long time.
But it wasn't an ex.
It was just, you know, whatever.
I was like, yeah.
Go ahead.
Seen him in Vegas.
I think you were asleep in the back.
No, I asked, no.
You know, that bitch is crazy.
I say, why you think I say yes?
That's fucked up.
That's fucked up.
You should have prefaces.
That's hate.
Go for it.
That's hate.
Yeah, that's hate.
Go for a bus.
You can't see your man.
You can't set the screen and send him into like the blonde.
Yeah.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Why all of a sudden is this my responsibility?
You ask about a girl I haven't slept within so long.
Yeah, but just asked me and I'm like, all right, go ahead.
But you're going to throw in there like, yo, yo, yo, showty's crazy.
Thank you.
She could have progressed.
I'm like, hey, that's, hey, if your homeboy won't holl at me, don't tell him I'm crazy.
He can find out if I'm crazy.
I might not be crazy with him.
That's my home.
That's my home.
I'm supposed to make sure he walking into it.
If he was that close to your home boy, you wouldn't be trying to fuck me.
That's not true.
We fuck him and flee him.
That's how we do.
Oh, yeah.
Roy said you can go talk to her.
You're like 45.
I'm fucking with you.
I don't do that anymore.
I'm messing with you.
I don't do that anymore.
I can say you can go talk to her, but just so you know,
when I was with her or when I was seeing her, whatever, however you want to word it,
she was a little off.
The conversation made me uncomfortable to begin with, because I don't like that type of shit,
period.
So I wasn't about to have a full conversation.
Don't talk to me about someone I fucked years and years ago, and you're asking if it's okay.
Like, just go do that.
I don't care.
People got to ask, though.
They got to ask.
If it was my ex or someone that I was like really with with, yeah, of course I would
want my friend or associate
to ask, but like, oh, I don't know.
No, don't. No, don't do that.
Now of a sudden, Julian is trying to give me
that I have to have stipulations in this conversation
to explain how crazy she was.
But first of all, no, because niggins still be
fucking bitches and it don't even be like, no.
Like, you could have still been hitting that girl
if you wanted to, and he might not know.
Like, men be lying about what they're doing
and keeping people and I ain't. Okay, but when
he asked me, I had not.
Yeah, but you can't, but you can't say that.
That's because you're group chat too active now.
I don't know.
When you only had like three people in your group chat,
that was cool.
Now you got like 12.
So I don't know those other people.
Mm-hmm.
The marriage is right, though.
It could have just been a temp check for you.
Yeah.
Like, I'm going to do this anyway,
but I want to let you know that I'm going to do this,
but I'm going to make it seem like I'm asking me for permission.
Even though I know you've publicly said you're not hitting it.
This is the opportunity to confide in me.
Are you still hitting it?
Because if not, I'm going to go for it.
And I popped up from the back seat like, damn, me, too.
Why do I have to have like obligations to that conversation?
if it's somebody I don't even speak to.
But he doesn't know that you don't speak to.
Your friend.
You speak to your friend.
Your friend has seen or met an ex of yours and is thinking about, you know,
engaging in that and seeing where that goes and, you know, taking it to another level.
I think that it is right for your friend to ask you or let you know.
Like, yo, I know you used to talk to shorty.
I used to date, whatever, whatever.
Like, yo, we kind of had a little energy.
Like.
Again, not mad at the intentions of the conversation because that was, that came from a good place.
just want to let you know
like I've been talking
not talking to her but like
we exchanged numbers or whatever
because they live in the same city
that is not this city
so they're running
we all run in the same circles
and he had known
that I had a previous
encounter with her
encounter or X
definitely not X
how long was the hookup phase
it was pretty long time
oh so he's because that's how
Roy because I know how to trap Roy
because he's not just like
I met her in college
that's not fair
why was it enough here
How long?
Because that allows mad years.
When were y'all, and what years were y'all active?
You know, they say this person, this actor was active between these years.
Yeah, what years were you are active?
Not years.
Well, how many years?
All right.
If you, if you see a girl once or twice a year, and in that encounter, y'all sleep with each other.
That's consistent.
Once or twice a year?
Especially when you don't live in the same city.
That's not consistent, man.
It's like going to the doctor.
Like, you're planning this.
If you had sex with a girl twice a year.
Bic quarterly.
That's a lot.
That's the max.
Like there'd be years
where I wouldn't at all.
Oh, so then I don't got to ask no permission.
That was just a hookup.
He was just a hookup.
How many years was this a thing?
You doing that for eight years?
Twice a year?
Stop running into me.
Y'all just using each other.
You're running to her.
Whenever y'all, the person that y'all really want
and y'all don't outs, that's just who you go back to.
That's just like your dugout.
I'll kill a bitch about my dugout, so I don't know.
But there be a question about my dugout.
It wasn't consistent for eight years,
but there would be like a two-year span
where we'd fuck once in that two-year span
and then like not fuck for like a year
because we were in-stit-
I'm not asking no permission.
And then fuck five times the next.
I'm not asking no permission.
I'm not letting my homie know
that me and shorty fucking.
You was fucking her twice a year,
maybe once a year?
That's why I was kind of...
Ah, man.
He just was aware
like how he had even initially seen her before
was because she was around me.
So that's why he knew.
I'll get it.
And then, but now that they're in another city
and live in the same city
in the same circles,
he knows he met her through me.
Got it.
Did he know that y'all was only having sex
like twice a year once he?
No, he don't know that.
No, because I don't like,
I didn't tell the group chat that.
No, I'm not saying you did,
but I'm just saying that he know
how consistently y'all were hooking up.
He didn't, no, he didn't know it was like a...
So now I can understand him ask
because he probably thought it was something more serious.
Like, yeah.
Cool.
And again, I wasn't mad at his intention of asking,
but I don't think I'm required
to give more information after that.
No, you shouldn't have told him that that girl was crazy.
Like, I'm uncomfortable already.
Like, I don't give a fuck
for any of,
of my friends at this point to go date someone that I think it's kind of weird. I wouldn't do it.
But if you want to do that from some past shit that I've had them, I'm 33 now.
34.
You could at least put it a good word. You could at least put it a good word.
Like, don't, don't.
I have a past.
Like, go ahead.
I don't care.
If you're going to hate.
If you're going to hate.
If you're going to send hate as far as saying, oh, that bitch crazy, make sure you say
that bitch crazy, but her pussy good and she cooked real good, she looked beautiful.
But why does it hate if you really crazy, though?
If you really crazy.
You must say the bad, say the good.
Yeah, but if you're really crazy, I feel like you should tell your friend.
Say I put you down in five seconds.
If you have a bad, if you ask to talk to one of my homeboys, right?
And I'm like, yo, DeMaris, listen, he cool, but the nigger a little, he a little jealous and secure.
He could get crazy at times.
You don't think that I should tell you that?
Maul, if she stabbed me, yes, I would tell my homeboy, you probably shouldn't do that.
She's the regular level woman crazy.
Like nothing to write home about.
She's just a fucking nuts woman.
Yeah, but obviously he came back to you and was like, yo,
this bitch is crazy.
Yeah, so why you ain't tell me that, nigga?
Tell me she crazy.
Because you might not make her crazy.
There's some men that will say I was crazy
and there's some men that like, Damaris is the most level-headed person,
the most logical person.
Everybody experiences a different you.
No, it's actually the opposite.
Everybody experiences a different you.
So you can't, I'm not going to sit up there and say she crazy
and then I go deal with her and it's like, oh.
Well, him and Rory experienced the same crazy bitch.
Because he came back like, yeah, that bitch crazy.
Also, in that type of conversation,
take it to another level.
If I ever caught Kea texting her friend,
if her friend was like, yo, I know you used to sleep with this dude or whatever,
like I know it wasn't a real thing, but like we're talking now and whatever.
And they have a full-blown conversation about their history,
I would have an issue with that.
Why?
Why?
What the fuck you, Kiki, go back and forth with your friend about old, like my answer to,
I almost said his name.
My answer to him was, go ahead.
I'm not about to sit and reminisce me like, yo, this is what happened with this.
This is like, this is who she is.
Like, nah, what the fuck?
I moved on in my life.
What the fuck am I talking about yesteryear and shit?
You don't got to do all that.
If Kia did that exact scenario with her home girl, like, no, I don't, I mean, yeah,
I used to fuck with him.
This is what happened.
This is where he's weird.
Like this and starts going down his whole fucking, uh.
You'd be mad about that?
Yeah.
What the, just say yes or no.
Like, why are you even having that conversation?
Because that's how girls talk is girly.
If you did it, it would be weird, but it's girly.
Girls chat.
Okay.
Shetty.
Yeah, they do be talking.
Yeah, like, it's chat.
It's girls chatting.
Like.
Yeah, just tell me if she's crazy or not.
You ain't got to tell me.
Then ask the question.
Yeah, but I mean, if I'm asking you though, is it cool if I holler at a like, you know what I'm saying?
Yeah, go ahead.
Yeah, but off the gut head.
Go ahead.
Lean into the.
Yeah, what murder?
Go ahead.
Lean into the, lean into the, yo, but she a little, she a bug out, though.
I don't know that to be the case now.
Like, okay.
Well, say it.
Say it from your experience.
He might not have buck out dick.
Like, you know, I don't want to send you into.
Oh, no, she was fucking crazy.
That's what I'm saying.
Sometimes they're just crazy.
That's why I'm not with her.
That's why I'm not with her.
That's why.
Don't hate.
Don't hate.
If you're going to pass, if you, if your home boy come for a recommendation,
tell him the good, don't tell him the bad.
Don't hate.
Don't dirty back.
That's dirty mac in.
How is that dirty back?
If you're really crazy, if you're not crazy, that's dirty macin.
Like, if you cool and I ain't never experienced no crazy with you and then like, yo,
she crazy is subjective.
Well, they're two for two with these guys.
Like, that seems she seems pretty consistent.
Maybe they're just strong.
She's crazy.
She's crazy.
I'm going to find out for myself.
You ain't going to worry.
Both y'all are lying if you ever caught your girlfriends having a conversation with
their home girl like that via text.
Oh, I would not be cool with that at all.
Yeah.
So, like, let's not all pretend.
Like, oh, that's just what girls do.
If one of our home girls was like, yo, I know you used to just fuck around with this dude
in the past, but like I'm talking to him now.
Just want to get your permission.
So it's not weird.
if you see me pop up with them.
And she says anything besides yes or no,
you would have an issue with that.
This is why I feel like all.
If you start going into like,
yo, this is what happened in our relationship.
This is what happened.
Like he did this, he did that.
Like, why are you even talking about that?
Unless it was like some violence.
My friend came and asked me about something.
And second of all, this is why I feel like,
and this is why I'm so anti going through phones
because every conversation isn't for you to see.
I agree.
You see what I don't go through phones?
Conversations that I have like with my friends about my man or somebody that I'm dating,
a lot of that stuff he's not going to want to hear because it's me and my girls.
Like the same way you, the same way that we talk about certain people that we're dating,
we would never want the people that we're dating to hear that or to see that.
There's conversations that me and you have had that you would never want here to hear.
Doesn't mean you're cheating.
Doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong.
But she just wouldn't be able to hear it with the ear that we hear it.
And I'm saying with the things that I can prevent that aren't necessary,
I'm going to prevent them.
You're going to get an answer that's going to say go ahead.
Yeah.
And just it's going to be done at that.
I'm not about to reminisce with my man's about what happened because he's trying to
fuck the girl.
But it ain't like you like, damn, like you about, let me tell you about how that pussy hit
at 7 p.m. on it.
Yeah, see, that's, that's, at that point, at that point, that's kind of gay.
That's different.
I'm just saying that's different.
That type of conversation is different.
But if she's legit crazy, just give me a little heads up.
She's regular woman crazy.
All right.
Well, just give me a little heads up.
That's all.
She didn't burn my house down.
She didn't hit me.
Like, she's just regular woman nuts.
And she's fine enough for that.
Not the matter.
That's why I took eight years.
Yes.
The same one I asked for permission for.
Did you hear it?
No.
No.
I didn't try.
Do we have one more voice?
Oh, yes, we do.
This will be fun for this room.
What's going on, family?
This is T from the DMV.
Hey, real quick,
before I get into my shit,
I hate when people call in
and say all your names individually.
I don't know if that shit blows the fuck out of y'all,
but it blow the fuck out of me.
That ain't got nothing to do nothing.
So I'm having a little issue, right?
So I'm married, me and my wife have a daughter.
She's about nine months old.
And my wife is a stay-at-home mom.
Which is cool, you know what I mean?
Like, you know, as far as, like, your pockets go or whatever is, like, kind of trash
because she's not working no more, but it is what it is.
You know what I mean?
The baby's happy.
She's happy.
It's all good.
My only problem is that, like, she very much takes, like, taking care of the baby as, like,
her only job.
And, like, I am.
Before we go.
I ought to go.
No, come on, come on.
Initial thoughts.
That news be a great one to end on.
We'll keep going.
We'll keep going.
I'm all ears.
Yeah, this is fun.
All right, here we go.
I'm scared where he's going to take this.
I'm a trained chef.
So I come home.
I cook, you know what I mean?
I still might clean up a little bit and everything like that or whatever.
But, like, very much if I leave a house or whatever, I come home and, like, it still looks
exactly like it did.
And, like, you know, you can't make it seem like, hey, do something else or whatever
because, like, you can't make it seem like taking care of it.
baby is light work, but also, hey, can you do something else?
Like, you know what I'm like?
So, uh, you know, how would y'all go about having that conversation?
So it's something like he wants his, his wife to do more at home while he's going.
Yes.
In short, yeah.
I'll let everyone without kids start the combo.
I guess I could kind of sort of see what he's saying.
But if there's, if the house is clean, the baby is laying down, sleep taking care of.
He just said the house don't be clean.
So basically the wife isn't cleaning.
She's not doing anything besides taking care of the kids.
So he's saying he'll come home.
He'll still cook.
He'll still do the dishes.
He'll clean the house.
Do everything that doesn't pertain to the kid.
Even though he's, he said by trade, he's a chef, professional chef.
Oh, so, oh, okay.
I see what's happening.
Yeah.
So because he's the professional chef, she's assuming that he's probably the better cook out of the two.
And she's assuming that he's just going to come home.
And because this is what he does.
Yeah, nigga, you need practice.
Yeah, but nobody must have worked at home.
It's called a busman's holiday.
When the guy that drives the bus on his days off, drives his kids around.
It's called a busman's holiday.
What about cleaning though?
Yeah, I think you should definitely find something to do around the house other than if you know,
if the baby's taking care of, sleep, that's your time.
If you want to rest, cool, do some things that you want to do for yourself, great.
But if the house is dirty, you should.
should also take that time to clean up the house as well.
This very weekend, I had Amara by myself from Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday night, in Jersey, my crib in Jersey.
That house is a disaster right now.
The only time I would really have time to clean up would possibly be during the one-hour nap that she takes in the middle of the day.
At that point, I had stayed up the entire night before.
I was fucking exhausted.
That time where you need to just do nothing,
sometimes only comes when your child is sleeping
for that hour, hour and a half.
For sure.
It is so easy to let a house just go
when you have a toddler.
And don't get me wrong.
The way Big T over here is talking
is sort of how I felt in the beginning a bit.
When I came back, I was like, damn, man,
I'm working nonstop, and then I come home
and then I clean, I cook, I do laundry, all this shit.
I got rid of that mentality after two weeks
once I had had a few weekends of just me and a more.
I'm like, oh, you can't get shit done with a toddler.
And anytime you clean something up,
once they wake up from that nap,
it's going to be redestroyed.
Yeah.
Like even trying to feed a kid is an entire part of the house
is going to get destroyed.
He should have a bit more compassion
when it comes to that.
Yes, it's tough to work all day and then come home
and it's like, all right, any free time I would have is now
fully in trying to make sure she is some free time.
Like, what the fuck did you do all day?
Sit with your kid for a week.
Do roll reverse, Big T.
Let me know how you think.
Let's see how much you get done.
Listen, I feel, I feel him.
Yeah.
But you have no idea what the fuck it is like when you have one hour out the day that could have some free time.
No, the house is going to be fucking clean.
Yeah.
I can't even go food shopping.
I get it.
And it's a nine-month-old, so it's a new baby.
But I mean, I understand.
Like he's going, he's at work all day.
He comes home.
The last thing you want to come home to is a dirty house.
I get that.
But at the same time, raising a baby, raising a child, a nine-month-old is non-stop work
until that baby either decides I'm going to take a nap.
But if the baby doesn't take a nap.
Up all day with the baby feeding, dishes, pamper, clothes, whatever, toys everywhere.
I get how that goes.
Alongside just pure exhaustion because babies don't sleep.
And, I mean, obviously we don't know them, but I'm sure she gives you some grace and lets you sleep because you have to work in the morning.
Yeah.
So she's up all night and like when you know it's just you, you're the only responsible person.
You don't ever really get into REM sleep.
Like you close your eyes and you're kind of asleep, but you have that paranoia of the kid weight, especially at nine months.
Super paranoid.
You never get real sleep.
Yeah.
You just close your eyes.
You get a bunch of 30-minute naps.
you wake up the next, no, I'm not, sorry, I'm not mopping the fucking floors today.
Right.
And this is why we had this conversation on the podcast before.
We've had it off mic too.
And I've had it with men and they get so angry when I say this when I would say, oh, I want to be a stay-at-home mom.
And then I'll be like, but I also want a nanny.
And they'd be like, what?
How the fuck could you be a stay-at-home mom and still want a nanny?
Like, you know, for the beginning stages of like having a kid.
And it's like, because I don't want to completely lose myself and being a mom.
mom that the other roles that I also play of a daughter where I have age and parents, a wife,
a sister, a friend, and just me who I am alone, to all be lost in being a mother because I have now
the only thing I can do is be a mom. That's the only thing I have time for. No, I still want the
nanny because I want to be able to clean my house and keep it the way that my husband and me
are used to before we had a kid. I want to be able to support my husband emotionally and
physically. I want to have enough energy to visit my parents and make sure that they're okay. So I don't
want my child to be my entire life because that is when I see moms go into depression. That is when
I see marriages start to break up because at the end of the day, you are in a relationship. And yes,
this person needs to be understanding, but people still have feelings and emotion and needs that they
need their partner to meet that have been being met for years. So a mom can't be everything to
everyone. So to ask for help, which is one of the reasons why I'm waiting to have a kid,
I want to be able to afford help. And everybody can't. But if you, if this person can't afford help,
you need to understand that. No, like some things are going to fall by the wayside. And it can't be
the baby. The baby can't fall by the wayside. So what's going to have to change? And nine months,
that's peak postpartum. Yeah. Peak postpartum.
Fucking depressed. No, I don't want to clean. I get depressed and don't want to clean and I don't have any
kids. So I can't imagine having a kid where
I don't even want to get out of bed.
I don't feel the same about myself. I don't, I feel
fat or out of shape or I don't feel
like my life is completely upside down.
The only thing I can get out of bed to do
is to make sure this baby survives
and that's all I have it. Where's a tribe
at? Not everybody has a tribe,
a lot of people have nobody.
That's one. Well, even like
with the tribe of people
I have, there's people with
tribes that also
don't trust their tribe.
when it comes to kids.
Then I ain't your tribe.
No, you can have a try, but.
They just know nothing about children.
Yeah.
Like, I have great people around me,
but some of them literally have no idea
what it would take to even watch a toddler for two hours.
Well, if he were to give,
if he were to broach this conversation with his wife,
how should he do it?
Because it sounds like we all agree,
like we understand being the stale mom is much harder
than to see how we got,
we're on board of that.
But if he were to,
because it sounds like, you know,
the same could be said for him,
sounds like he's also doing
a lot.
They're both doing a lot.
So then what can be done
for some mutual,
you know what I mean,
alleviation on both of their sides?
Like,
what would that look like?
How could he have this conversation
with her without like offending her
is kind of what I'm asking?
Obviously I'm not sure his schedule
because he said he's a professional chef.
I don't know if that means
he's getting home at like three ago.
Those are usually late hours.
But if I were to do a general advice,
you just need to sit with your partner
and put strategies together.
Yeah.
Which took,
he and I have a long time to even get into that routine but there'll be nights like I know I'm getting back from the pod at this time I'll cook and you do bath time or I'll come right in and you I'll do bath time and then she'll start cooking or she'll start cleaning like you really need to schedule this shit we even put a Google calendar together at some point like with tasks of how to make this easier to give everyone a break like I know when I leave here I'm going in to do bath time she'll cook we'll eat we'll feed tomorrow key'll put her down at that point I can rest for
the 30 minutes it takes to put tomorrow down,
and then we can chill.
Like, you really have to create a schedule.
But nine months in, isn't a lot of time.
Because the baby isn't on a schedule.
And the baby's changing, especially at nine months.
Every day's a different thing with the kid at that point.
You kind of have to tough it out in the beginning
before you can get on that schedule.
Because it's rough, man.
I know it.
Like, even the weekends where I would want a break,
it's like, well, I need to give Kia a break.
She had a full-time job this week, too.
Right.
Okay, I had to go out.
This night, I had a business dinner, this and that.
I got home at 11.
She did everything for that day.
Like, those things, I'm not saying going tit for tat,
but you do need to find a 50-50 split in those things.
That's also still your kid.
I'm also on the non-mental health side,
which I've talked about with my therapist before,
when she's like, you need to think about yourself when it comes to this.
And all your free time goes to making sure Kea has free time.
I'm still a man.
I'm a father at the end of the day.
Like,
right.
Stop being a bitch and be a fucking man and take care of your kid.
Yeah.
Every generation of males in my family before this went to work and took care of their kids.
Now of a sudden I'm going like, well, I feel weird today.
Yeah.
No one has felt like, what am I going through?
Who am my feelings?
Even though I think that's important,
and you guys know I'm a huge mental health advocate of this entire thing,
I talk about depression.
I've talked about suicide.
I'm also a man.
man and a father now.
Right.
So a lot of that shit has to get pushed to the side.
I'm exhausted when I walk in.
Yeah.
That's right.
Fuck your exhaustion.
Fuck it.
Yeah.
Suck it up.
Man's shit.
100%.
Yeah.
Drink a bottle.
We're joking, but I still think that's a huge factor that men need to take into
consideration.
Like that is your family.
If you want to be the man and be the leader and be all that masculine shit that
we talk about and we've said society has gotten real pussy and weird, all right, if you
want to do the opposite, it sucks.
If you want to be the leader of your fucking house, man the
fuck up and do it. Come home after work, make sure your family is okay.
I thought you wanted to be masculine, right?
You hate these fucking liberals that go to therapy.
Yeah. What about nasty time? You need more sex?
Well, that's, I mean, that goes away. You got to schedule that in.
Yeah. You pencil that in for like the first five years of a kid's life.
Schedule with sex is rough. Pencil that in, get it.
We got it, Julian.
Thank you very much.
But that's also weird too.
You know your kid doesn't sleep through
the night that way.
Even if you're in another room, you gotta be...
It's weird. It's always weird.
Your ear, your ear is always open.
Make sure they don't wake up.
Clapping cheeks starting at the baby monitor.
It's whack.
It's real.
No, I know. It sounds awful.
But yeah, it's real.
The phone is right there with the video.

Yeah, I'll get it. Shout out to Big T. Hopefully Big T, you know, you can. Oh, Big T's going to be so
mad when they start daycare and he thinks that his life is going to change. Like, oh, yeah,
I know.
All right.
She's not working, but she's,
we have daycare
so she can take that time.
No, that's going to get
her mental stability back.
Like, house still a mess.
Yeah, but go clean your house.
You're a fucking adult.
That's what's right.
Ain't nothing wrong with going home
from working cleaning.
You're nothing wrong with that.
Be a man.
Take care of your family.
Clean the fucking house.
Yeah.
Can't do laundry
just because you drop garlic for a living?
Right.
Don't do that.
Big T's probably a great chef.
I'm sure.
Don't just make a...
Oh, no.
In another lifetime, I would have loved.
That would have been a career
I would have picked.
All right, well, good to see you back, baby Dee.

Yeah, you kind of came while.

But I love you, though.

You know what I mean?
It's sometimes it hurt.
It was a good journey.
Love hurts.
Up and down.
Sometimes my word.
No, love should never hurt.
It hair hit a little bit, a little bit.
You know what I'm saying?
