Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed human. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me. Clivert Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits,
Starting point is 00:00:12 my basketball and college football journey, or my career in sports media. Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, the Cliford Show. This is a place for raw, unfills of conversations with athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated.
Starting point is 00:00:28 So let's get to it. Listen to the Clifford show on the IHeard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok podcast network on TikTok. On the Look Back at it podcast. For 1979, that was a big moment for me. 84 is big to me. I'm Sam J. And I'm Alex English.
Starting point is 00:00:47 Each episode, we pick a hear, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it. With our friends, fellow comedians, and favorite authors. Like Mark Lamont Hill on the 80s. 84 was a wild. It was a wild year. I don't think there's a more important year for black people. Listen to look back at it on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. On paper, the three hosts of the Nick Dick & Poll show are geniuses.
Starting point is 00:01:14 We can explain how AI works, data centers, but there are certain things that we don't necessarily understand. Better version of Play Stupid Games win Stupid Prizes. Yes. Which, by the way, wasn't Taylor Swift, who said that for the first. first time. I actually, I thought it was. I got that wrong. But hey, no one's perfect. We're pretty close, though. Listen to the Nick, Dick, and Paul show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Middle of December, holiday season.
Starting point is 00:02:05 Holiday season. The cheer is around, walked in today, and Pige was listening to Frank Sinatra's best Christmas album or whatever. I was in the spirit. I almost lit a fire just in the middle of the studio. Nothing like a good, Frank Sinatra to get you in the holiday mood.
Starting point is 00:02:19 Thank you for that. Thought I heard some child drums on that record. I mean, you know. I think so. Head of his time. Some of them in there. Frank's son can confirm. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:28 Frank Sinatra. Junior, Jr. But that's why I enjoy giving here early with Peach because him and I both love holiday spirit. Like we're the only two that like Thanksgiving in this room. Like we just like white holiday shit. So I love that he was DJ. You think that it's y'all are only, so what do you think the coincidence that you would be celebrating the Lord and Savior white Jesus Christ? It's the reason you and Pete are the only ones that loved American holidays. Listen, a son was born in Bethlehem. Yeah, I get it. I understand.
Starting point is 00:02:58 Thank you guys for bringing the Caucasodian energy into the workplace. You're welcome. Thank you. Appreciate it. In the Middle East, yes. Yes. White eyes, blonde hair. It was beautiful. Beautiful time.
Starting point is 00:03:08 What a time. Shepherds came. Exactly. You know. They were denied a hotel room because, you know, racism. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:18 We had a rough man. I get it. Look what they did to our Lord. I empathize with you. But thank God we all know it is a fact. Jesus Christ was born on December 25th. So I love to celebrate that by, you know, looking at a Santa. By and President.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Yeah, materialism. Yes. You know, because the shepherds brought a gift. So now let's all go straight into corporate America. But anyways, I took Amara to go see Santa yesterday. Was she scared? Did she cry? She was cool. Like, she was patient in the line, which, by the way, it's just, when you have a kid, they just fold you right into the sheep.
Starting point is 00:03:53 Like, I'm just part of the herd now. Yeah. Why am I waiting an hour to go take a photo with some guy that my daughter doesn't even want it? A local drunk. Like, what am I doing? Why am I, why do I feel like I need to do this type of stuff? Yeah. She was cool in line.
Starting point is 00:04:08 And then the moment we got, like, right up to Santa, she just started losing her shit like every kid in front of us. Yeah, that's what's supposed to happen. Who is this weird fucking man? Screaming. The photos came out hilarious. Yeah. Because she's just yelling at the top of her lungs.
Starting point is 00:04:21 It was kind of worth it. Like, once I got the prince, I was like, no, it's hilarious. This is great. This is still traditional white Santa or they, like, try to throw in a fucking, okay. Santa had dreads? dude these days i don't know there is anything santa they don't even call them it's just they yeah it's a it's a we don't know if santa identified as a man or not it's a weird job if you think about it i'm not even going to go down the path you guys think i'm going to go as far as a guy that
Starting point is 00:04:44 dresses up like santa claus and as kids sit on his lap's how they got you it's just a really odd no i was much easier than that no presence were given just the just the present of trauma um i just like you have to be a weird guy to want to be that Santa. Like all kids do is scream in your face for hours on end in a mall. Like you would want, like how much money would it think?
Starting point is 00:05:08 I'd get like four or five hundred bucks. Is that worth it? I would imagine it's like a gas. You're gonna be sick no matter what. Yeah. He even like, I could tell he was just running out of things to say to the kid because Amara had a chicken finger in her hand.
Starting point is 00:05:19 He's like, you brought me lunch. I was like, relax. Come on. Let's, let's be professional here. Just ask what the fuck she wants for Christmas. Take the picture. Let's get out of it.
Starting point is 00:05:28 Let's come on. I've been in a line. for an hour across from lids. It's worth it, though. To get that picture of your daughter crying like that to show her as she gets older, like, that's worth it. Yeah. And then we went to Cheesecake Factory.
Starting point is 00:05:39 It was a perfect white, middle-aged December experience. That's a Sunday for you right there. Absolutely. Yeah. I had a latte. Yeah, that's a Sunday. That's a dad Sunday right there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:50 Some Cajun pasta at 11 a.m. It was a rough Sunday to say the least. Hugging the porcelain again after that. But it was still fun. We had a show. on Saturday night. We did. Thank you to everybody
Starting point is 00:06:02 that came out to the last show of 2024 at Gramacy Theater in New York City. Had a great time. Saw some familiar faces. Yes, a lot of people
Starting point is 00:06:09 from Patreon, Discord. That was fun. Yes. Meet and greet was fun per usual. Yes. It popped off
Starting point is 00:06:16 a little weird. I was kind of nervous. The first person that started to meet and greet. I felt like crossed the line a little bit. A little bit.
Starting point is 00:06:25 But I was trying to play. He don't know how close he came to. Because you know I don't play about you. And, What happened? This guy, you could tell he was nervous
Starting point is 00:06:33 and probably had been drinking a little bit. Yeah, he was cool. He was a little drunk, a little awkward, you know, you know how that goes. Full conversation was cool, y'all let's take some photos, whatever, regular meet and read stuff. And then as he's leaving, he's like, oh, there was one thing that I like meant to tell you more, like, you have like the knees awards.
Starting point is 00:06:51 No, he said he said he was going to bring me a plaque. And I was like, he said he forgot, he was going to bring me a gift. I was like, oh, okay. I tried to beat you. I was like, what? I was like, he was like, yeah, it was a plaque. I was like, plaque.
Starting point is 00:07:02 I was like, for who gives me a plaque? A plaque for what? He's a strongest knees award. Some of the whole Drake. Yeah, no, I get you. That's a good joke. So I looked at him and I was like, in that moment, I was like, oh, I'm a mature older guy now. You just gave you a pair of knee pad.
Starting point is 00:07:18 Because five years ago, I would have slapped this dude at the meeting greet. You know what I'm saying? I was like, oh, so I looked at him. I was like, thanks, man. I had, like, you know what I mean? You handled that well. Thanks, man. Like five years ago?
Starting point is 00:07:29 Oh, my God. Rory would have been mad. No, it would drag me back to the dressing room. No, I would have joined now, not five years ago. I felt all the Irish rage in me immediately. Then I saw you take it in stride. So I was like, all right. He didn't say it to me.
Starting point is 00:07:44 I can't be the guy that now gets upset. If mall's fine with it, then fuck it. I take it all in stride, man. But other than that, the show, the show was great. Demaris's ex-girlfriend was front row. Taylor. Taylor's running to the show. Shout out to Taylor, man.
Starting point is 00:07:59 had had the tight jeans on with the straps. Oh, man. She was strapped red. She had the strapped red. Was it rigid? It was rig. It was rig. It was rare.
Starting point is 00:08:07 For her pleasure. Yes. Yes. Oh, okay. But yeah, it was a lot of the familiar faces in the front row. So it was like, you know,
Starting point is 00:08:13 we do this every December. It's always like a family union. All the girls from Discord that hate me were there. Was mad there? You gotta stop saying that they hate you just because they critique you. They told me they hate me to my face. They didn't say that to them all. They like,
Starting point is 00:08:24 I even went on space yesterday. One of them told me I support. All kind of shit. I was like, in the spaces. Who? Wait, what do you support? Trump. Oh, well, yeah, that checks out.
Starting point is 00:08:37 Never mind. She has a point. He's a... That does check out. All right, moving forward. So we've been doing this segment, I think like the last three or four shows where we try to find like the youngest person in the crowd in place, like quick snippets of songs from that city.
Starting point is 00:08:56 Yeah. See like the history of music. It always turns out to be a very, very fun segment because young people don't know shit. And per usual, just like in Atlanta, we found the one young kid that came with his parent, Michael, who was amazing, came on stage. I talked to Michael in Spaces last night. He gave me more info that had we fucking known that, the whole show would have went different.
Starting point is 00:09:19 So Michael was there with his mom and his mom. We kept asking like, yo, there's a guy in between you and your mom. Like, are you going to acknowledge, is that your dad? No, no, no. Just ignored it, but we pushed forward. he didn't even know his mom was going to the show. That is her new boyfriend that she just met. He's a fan of the show.
Starting point is 00:09:37 So he brought her on a date. And he visited his mom that day and was like, yeah, I'm out, about to go to the city. She's like, what are you going to do? Like, go on a New Roy Mall show. She's like, me too. Oh, wow. That was his first time meeting her new boyfriend in the crowd.
Starting point is 00:09:52 Oh, my God. When they sat down. Had I known that mom and date would have came on fucking stage immediately. That's crazy. Oh no, we gotta go. Next week, Gramancy Theater, we're back. We gotta finish that. Are you kidding me?
Starting point is 00:10:04 Yeah, so he went to the show by himself. He's just a fan, whatever. And I guess mom's new boyfriend is a huge fan too. When he was like, yo, I got these tickets. Like, you know, plenty of guys bring a girl drag that doesn't even listen to the show. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:16 And it happened to be his mom. Look at us crossing demos. So we got the mother, her new boyfriend, and the son. See? And they say we don't touch the demos. Wow, now they got something to bond over. I thought it was weird, too.
Starting point is 00:10:27 like if I would have And I did say I was like yo who is that Because I remember saying well who is that Because where he was sitting And then he was like now that's my mom I'm like okay There's a black man sitting right next to your mother Like who is his guy
Starting point is 00:10:39 And now in retrospect do you see why he just quickly Got off that topic Yes Because he had just met that He didn't even know that gentleman's name Yeah yeah no it's holy man Damn I wish we would have known that on stage Yeah but that was funny he was great
Starting point is 00:10:50 He didn't know one fucking song from New York No the craziest part of He was 24 years old So that is the craziest part that his mother was there on a date with a new boyfriend for the first time and they all ended up going to the show. But he's from Marcy Projects.
Starting point is 00:11:06 He's from Brooklyn, Marcy Projects. We asked him who his favorite rap is. He's from Marcy Project. He's gonna say Jay-Z. He said Buster Ron. He's 24. Okay, but he said Buster. That's weird.
Starting point is 00:11:20 That's weird. Like if you said like, Routty ought to be like, all right, you're 24. Yeah. Like one of the drillers, out of like, I ain't cool. Buster. See, this is why I don't believe.
Starting point is 00:11:30 I don't believe when kids say stuff like that. I really don't. No, because he could have just said JZ. He could have just said J.Z. He's from Marcy Project. After he got shamed by the whole crowd, he was like, no, it's JZ. I promise.
Starting point is 00:11:40 It's J.C. Yeah. What? You're from Marcy Projects and you say your favorite rap is Buster Ron. First of all, to be 24 years old to say your favorite rap is bust around. You're lying.
Starting point is 00:11:49 It's crazy. I don't think he's lying because that's not a lie you would come up with. I don't think he's lying. No, what happened was. He just thought about the first name. He said that he said, he said, I was the first name that popped in my mom. He's trying to play to the crowd. That's what he said.
Starting point is 00:12:00 He said, that was the first name that popped in his mind was Buster Rhyms. And I looked at him like, what? Who says Buster Rhyms? Like, is their favorite rapper? Because he's only heard of look at me now first. He said, name three Buster Rhyme songs, he would have folded. Look at me now. That was it.
Starting point is 00:12:13 He would literally have said, look at me now. Yo, have we ever, we've talked about hip hop for years. Have we ever heard anybody say Buster Rhyms is their favorite rapper ever? And Buster rhymes is their favorite rapper ever? And Buster is a legend. probably, he deserves more credit. We do underrated. No, we know Buster's a legend, but I'm just saying,
Starting point is 00:12:28 I've never heard anybody ever said he's my favorite rapper? No. I've never heard. That was so like, that literally is the first time I ever heard that. Yeah, because sometimes you get like weirdness, like hipster shit. Somebody went up there, was like, yo, I love quality, which is cool. I get it. I've heard that before.
Starting point is 00:12:42 I've heard that before. Buster is kind of an interesting favorite rapper. And to be 24 years old and say that. That's what I was like, really? Like, what? It's probably Playboy Cardi. He just didn't know what to say. He could have said Playboy.
Starting point is 00:12:54 That's my point. You could have just said play Boy Carty. And then we started out with Dipset Anthem as like the first snippet. He didn't know what it was. His mother did though. Yes, she definitely did. His mom knew the Dipset Anthem.
Starting point is 00:13:06 Then we played Black Robb, whoa, I think. Yeah, but what I... His mom was yelling, whoa, on the hook. She was like, whoa, looking at him. You're playing Black Robb's yo to a 24-year-old kid. That's such an iconic song. He is 24.
Starting point is 00:13:18 If Black Rob was at that table, he wouldn't know who's black Rob. Whoa? Whoa. See? DeMarems. I had a bad bitch of town. She was, whoa. Like, just when the chords on that song, it's over.
Starting point is 00:13:28 I just didn't know who. I didn't know who. I didn't know the song. Just because you're 24 doesn't give you an excuse to not know, whoa. Like, if somebody played me DDP Bridges over, I'm, wasn't even born, but I would know it. Like, it's an iconic song. Listen, he said Buster was his favorite rap. At that point, he set himself up.
Starting point is 00:13:43 I would be surprised at anything. I'm thinking this guy's a hip-hop historian at this point. Hip-hip-hop history. He is to say Buster? Is Buster? Is Buster from New York? He's from Brooklyn. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:53 Michael was great though He was a good sport through all of it I was really shaming Taylor We played dipset anthem And everyone just shamed Michael For not knowing it And then we thought Taylor had fucked mad bitches To dipset anthem
Starting point is 00:14:06 We put the mic in Taylor's face She didn't even know diff set anthem She put it down her pants She thought it was a Dilda She stole it a new strap Thank you Here all day It's a DP night
Starting point is 00:14:16 But the show was great Shout out to Bree Steve Shout out to Rome Streets Derringer They performed which went great because sometimes it's awkward, I feel like with performers at live podcast. It like actually worked.
Starting point is 00:14:30 Yeah. I was a little nervous because, you know, our listeners are weird sometimes with energy. They can be assholes. Yeah, it was good. Shout out to Rome Streets, Derringer. Shout out to Derek Gaines. Funny, Derek Gaines.
Starting point is 00:14:43 We got to have him back on. Yeah, Derek's good. We got to shoot an episode with Derek Gaines, one of the comedians that I watched coming up in the city on the comedy scene. So it was good to see him at the show that night. well. And you're gone horn on the on the on a on a, my guy Hock, yes. Hock. Shout out the Hark, man. It was it was a multimedia experience. Yeah. Yeah. Had a good night.
Starting point is 00:15:02 Had a really good night, man. Thank you for everybody that came out. Good to see y'all again, once again this time of year. We'll see y'all soon. Yeah, it was one of those, the December New York shows I always have like actual fun. We have great shows that are fun, but I had like a really good time the entire time. Mm-hmm. Um, couples. We didn't break anyone up. It was a lot of love in the building. It was just a cool night. It was a good night, man. Um, um, And I mean, we were getting the hangover after, because we were in the same green room as Cole. Yeah. Yo, the night, like, you did you look this seat?
Starting point is 00:15:31 I could smell his cologne. Roy went through the trash. Yo, shut, shut, just shut up, man. Just shut up. Don't say nothing. Just shut up. You didn't smell his cologne. I walked in the green room when I got there and Pige was already there.
Starting point is 00:15:43 And I was like, can you believe we're standing in the same place that J. Cole was 12 hours ago? Fuck. I'm so glad I wasn't there for that conversation. Gramacy was playing nothing but Cole when we got there. Really? Obviously. On fucking repeat. And I mean, I wasn't mad at it, but I was like, you guys, all right, I get it. I get it. He was here.
Starting point is 00:16:01 And they were just disappointed with us. So what was it then? The whole change between what they did with Cole the night before. And then me and Pete's trying to get sound checked together. That front of house guy was probably one of the biggest assholes like the come down off of Molly. Like we asked just for like an auxiliary corps. He's like, all right, man. I get it.
Starting point is 00:16:18 I get it. I get it. Cole was here yesterday. and we're just a bunch of idiots with microphone. I understand. He wanted to do a basically a warm-up show because the last time he touched the stage was at Dreamville Fest.
Starting point is 00:16:29 So he just wanted to like get his... That's not true. Chops back. Did he perform with Boss after that? Yeah, but I mean like a full set. He did like two or three songs with Buzz at the... Oh, yeah. He wanted to just do like a warm up.
Starting point is 00:16:40 Make a fan moment out of it too. It was like 600 people there. I think that was really cool that Dreamville did that. That's a cool fan experience to watch like a rehearsal the day before. I thought that was a really good idea. I would have gone to that. I fell asleep.
Starting point is 00:16:52 I was just mad Grimmercy like didn't like let y'all know that that was going to happen. I should have showed up like damn it's wrong night but I'm here. Yeah. Where's my past? No, my credentials.
Starting point is 00:17:01 Well, you didn't need credentials. The funny shit is I went to do a walk through tonight. Showed up to Grimacy. No, the funny part is we were supposed to have a show on that 13th. Yeah. That's the funny thing.
Starting point is 00:17:09 You can say you're welcome to Cole. I'll tell him tonight. I did that to spite more. I know what happened. Oh. I didn't tell him all the behind the scene shit. Yeah. Oh, he did a rehearsal show at the spot
Starting point is 00:17:18 where we was okay. Yeah. Pushed us to the 14th. Yeah. Pushed us. No, we had that. That was booked
Starting point is 00:17:25 way before the battle started. Maybe it was for Cole too. Ten year anniversary. Maybe he booked it nine years ago. You don't even know. Thinking ahead. Foresight. Foresight.
Starting point is 00:17:35 Yeah, I get it. But we will get our dreamvillians out of here as quick as we possibly can. They have a huge night tonight. We are recording this on Monday. Julian and Demaris. Damaris is grabbing her tithes.
Starting point is 00:17:45 Why is she doing that. To love yours. Love hip-hop. Oh my God I promise you That's such a pervy fucking line But Big was young
Starting point is 00:17:54 So I guess he gets a past Grab your titties If you love hip hop I'm telling you man I'm just I hope you guys have a great time At night That's all
Starting point is 00:18:02 Why are you like damn Why are you saying In that tone? Yeah Are we about to get jumped? What tone do you want me to say there? I hope you guys have a great time tonight I hope you enjoy the show
Starting point is 00:18:11 I hope Cole does great I hope all of his fans have a wonderful moment tonight together in the same room And love hip hop All right. DeMaris. Just let him know I don't give a fuck.
Starting point is 00:18:21 What do you do on that stage? It's celebrating a classic album 10 years. Great out. It'll be a great night. Great album. Demaris was late today because she was holding court at Irving Plaza for all the Cole fans. Like, oh, y'all don't have tickets yet, L.O.L. But let's talk about Cole.
Starting point is 00:18:35 Demerical live stream. At Irvin Plaza. Yeah, they did the first dollar in a dream thing. They announced a location to pick up your dollar. That was today? Yeah, 2014 tickets were available today for a dollar at Irving Plaza. Demire, she was on line? No, she went to taunt the line.
Starting point is 00:18:52 Yeah, she was laughing like... I did not. She said, look at you, brokies. I did not. I was home. Started quitting them if they really knew, Cole. If I didn't have my plus one ticket, I would have been out there in the rain. Dancing with the fans.
Starting point is 00:19:04 But it has to be... I should have went, man, and just played like... Drake, never mind. Played the sidewalk? No, I should have just walked by just like with a speaker and just played like... What would you have played, the apology speech? It's like playing a Dr. King, I had a dream, right? Yeah, no, it's definitely the same thing.
Starting point is 00:19:19 Same thing. Yeah. Just let it go, man. Look how fun that looks. That looks so fun. No, I'm sure. Everybody smells like a wet dog. I'm sure people have like-minded conversations in line.
Starting point is 00:19:33 And how long can it really take, though? If you're giving a dollar and getting a wristband, it's got to move quick, right? Yeah, I don't think that's. But they were out there because, well, this is the thing, because if you have the inevitable site and you pay for all of that stuff, you have the inevitable chat, those diehard Cole fans guessed where that was way before it was announced. So there were people that were out there since like 8 o'clock in the morning. Eve announced that 9, 10 and the tickets didn't go on sale till 10 o'clock.
Starting point is 00:19:57 So if you're the 500th person in line at 8 a.m., like you're going to be out there until probably like 11 o'clock getting those tickets. Listen, they were nice because when we were talking about this, y'all were predicting St. John's, that would have been a fucking nightmare for everyone to go all the way out there. Yeah, it'd been awful. those buses would have been fucking packed. But I mean, I'm sure a lot of people would have came up robbing some suburban kids. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:25 I would definitely. I was going with like, I was going to rob somebody for them cold tickets if I didn't get some. And I'm not saying that facetiously. I'm not saying that. I'm not hot and I'm dead ass. With scissors and just cutting people's wristbands off. That would be hilarious. Dead the fuck ass.
Starting point is 00:20:43 I was, I was on that type of time. I was not missing this show. Well, what, what's, What are you guys excited to see? What record? What cut? Some of the deep cuts. We told you already. We told you on the Patreon.
Starting point is 00:20:54 Shout out to the Patreon. If you haven't seen it, go see it. Really good episode today. But what came out yesterday? If you're listening. But yeah, get off my dick too. I'm more excited for the after party, to be honest. But, you know, you know how I do them all.
Starting point is 00:21:07 Photo ops. You got to do a line. It's Cole. A line? You think I'm just going to do Coke? Because of coal? Why would I do Coke because of Jake? Coke, Cole.
Starting point is 00:21:17 Oh, yeah. It's not like that. they next to each other in alphabet. 10 years? You've been sober for... Not 10 years. Not even close. But you want to achieve that?
Starting point is 00:21:26 Well, a dollar from a dollar in the dream you use to roll up and... Got a point. And you don't have to pay a dollar, so you have a dollar now. There you go. There you go, all 2014 tickets, everybody had to do a bump when they won. That's like saying smoke a dart. A dart and a rail. That's my first of a dollar to dream.
Starting point is 00:21:44 A dart and a rail. Just cripple your life. A dollar in the rail. A dollar in a rail. That's how you get into the weekend show. That's how you go see Able. He's going to see Able tonight. A dollar in a rail.
Starting point is 00:21:59 Probably run on my eyes on a real. I'm going to pay for the stream because I do want to see the show. If I can stay up, Armall and I, like, welcome to the after party. I'm going to ask you, do you think you should go to the after party? Well, I gave my thoughts on Patreon, why I'm not going tonight, which you can subscribe.
Starting point is 00:22:20 But why, I don't, I could blend in at the after party. Come, pause. Like, you can come. I'm gonna come. Don't come. Why not? I've seen all those guys since.
Starting point is 00:22:32 It's still love. I was just, I didn't want to, you know, be at the show and ruin, ruin the moment with my mall energy. What? I feel like you could definitely still come to the after party. Don't come with us,
Starting point is 00:22:42 but like come on your own. Y'all on the pod too, though. So I don't understand like why. If you're exempt. Well, I'm not going to ignore Rory if we're there. That'd be weird. I put my fucking job on the line defending Cole this year. Okay, they can't say nothing to me.
Starting point is 00:22:56 Wait, your job on the line? You think we would fire you because you like J. Cole? I was cussing-knit-as out. I was screaming at Mall over Cole. Like, I was... You think Mall had like an emergency conference? Like, yo, let's get on Zoom. Damaris has gone too far.
Starting point is 00:23:10 She's really into an elite rapper and it's odd. Nah. I was violent. I'm on the line. Put my job on the line over this cold shit. Bugged out, I chose sides. Well, I will say I know Mall has critiques. I have felt since post-battle, once the dust settled,
Starting point is 00:23:27 Cole's team has been killing this rollout with the podcast with this 10-year anniversary show, all the stuff they're doing for fans. I think it's been great. I'm excited to see the show. I don't think he brings anyone out. I'd like to see him bring, like, 50 or someone out, but I think he may go double platinum, no features and just... Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:46 Does he bring Boss out? No. No, I don't think anyone's going. I think Boss is doing some live stream thing for the show tonight. Oh, yesterday, if you're listening. At least that's what he said last we spoke. But yeah. Gotcha.
Starting point is 00:24:00 I don't know. So Bosn't be there? No, we'll all be there. I just think he's going to be in charge of some like live stream component. Oh, I'm like to say Bosn ain't going to be there? Like if on behalf of Dreamville, it's like boss's live stream or something like that. I don't know. Oh, that would be cool.
Starting point is 00:24:11 Shout to Bob. Like the show from like our perspective. More or less. Yeah, that's cool. Some commentary. But shout out to Cole, shout out to EVE, shout out the whole Dreamville team. That's a big night for them, man, selling out the garden. Anytime a rapper could do that, that's always big.
Starting point is 00:24:23 So shout out to them. Speaking of the Redempton of the J's. Redempt, all right. See, that was, come on, segue. Also, by the way, before we get off J-Col and go to Jay-Z, I don't think my take, even looking at the comments, I don't think my take of Jay-Z going to Dreamville Fest as a pop-up is really as crazy as you guys made me seen.
Starting point is 00:24:42 I think that's dual. And, come on, he doesn't, what do you say? we don't go for victory we come from victory damn he is so bored he just he wants to rep I don't understand why he doesn't go in the booth every response he's had to this allegation has been nothing but reasonable doubt level bars I think he doesn't think no he if he can top his previous works maybe that's a thought like what can I say that's so new or so
Starting point is 00:25:08 refreshing like what if I don't top it that I think that every artist who's had a long career considers that no I mean he's He might not be in a rap state of mind. Like, I feel like once you get that old, I can't stand him. I can't stand. Peach that Cardi B. I feel like once you become that big of a legend
Starting point is 00:25:25 and you've said so much and you've been that amazing for so long and now you're just in the house raising your family, what you need something to inspire you to rap. And I feel like nothing's inspiring him. A fake rape charge is a crazy inspiration. Yeah, like that's what I'm like, nothing's really inspiring him.
Starting point is 00:25:43 Over the weekend, the alleged victim did an interview with NBC, I believe it was, where she suggested that her friend drove her from where, Rochester, Rochester, New York, five hours to this VMA after-party where she was at 13 years old. And at Mall, stop. I'm telling, Maul, this is the facts of the case. Five hours down to the VMA after party,
Starting point is 00:26:10 dropped the 13-year-old off there. Puff's limo driver said, you got what Puff like. And she got in and then talked to a celebrity that said he was touring in the Midwest at the time and wasn't even there. Oh, yeah, I saw that. And her father then picked her up. Her father says, I feel like I'd remember that. And she admitted there's a lot of inconsistencies in her story, which then Jay-Z asked the court system,
Starting point is 00:26:38 I think it's okay and safe to throw this entire thing out. nobody was vetted in this. Clearly she has her nights completely mixed up, not suggesting that this woman has not been harmed, but it does not appear whatsoever that it was by JZ after the VMAs when she was 13. That was a good job breaking that down, Roy. I was just giving the facts of the case.
Starting point is 00:27:04 No, that is. I love it. I feel like I would remember driving five hours to pick up my 13-year-old daughter in the city and driving back. Listen, man, we... The father's response, and I don't want to make light of this or any situation like this. Look, look, that's the comment I was waiting for. You see that comment right there?
Starting point is 00:27:22 Who's this? The top one. The baddest alive, Maul. No, the other one. So he paid her off. Because that's what they're going to say now. They're going to run to that. No, he had the opportunity to pay her off.
Starting point is 00:27:31 No, but that's what I'm saying. But this is stupid. See, the internet is full of stupid people. And that's what people don't understand. A lot of people don't have discernment. A lot of people don't have common sense. Anybody that heard this from the beginning knew that the,
Starting point is 00:27:43 something just didn't sound. Your father picked you up in the middle of a night from a random gas station and you allegedly was raped and sexually assaulted and your dad didn't go in that same venue you was just at and start raising hell. And again, I don't want to light of it. And I know people get assaulted and don't tell them about, if you pick up your 13-old daughter in the middle,
Starting point is 00:28:03 your 13-year daughter in the middle of the night from a random ass gas station that's five hours away from your house. Yeah. You're not going to, what the fuck happened to you? What are you doing over here? His response was-13 years old was almost comical of, I have a lot going on right now, but I still feel like I'd remember that. Yeah, like, let's just cut the shit, man.
Starting point is 00:28:21 Throw this bullshit-ass case out. And an autistic 13-year-old fought off two grown-ass men. Like, come on, man. And it wasn't fucked up enough that her dad didn't notice she got assaulted. Y'all all called us abuse defenders or whatever the fuck y'all called us in the comments when we originally said that this sounded fucking stupid. Yeah, because those are the people that are just waiting for a moment to just believe any bullshit to test somebody down that's worked hard their entire career while they've sat down and worked for somebody
Starting point is 00:28:46 their entire career. Oh. It's a difference. A lot of these people are online. They're waiting for that. People are waiting for a moment to laugh at somebody and say, oh, they're nasty. They're just like, if you got a picture with any of these other people that they think are nasty, oh, you was doing it too.
Starting point is 00:29:01 What? You got any pictures with nasty people? Absolutely. For sure. I got pictures with niggas that didn't kill niggas. I ain't ever killed nobody. What that got to do with me? It's a weird comparison.
Starting point is 00:29:11 I'm just saying. I get who you taking it. I'm just saying. I'm just saying, so I'm a killer now because I'm, because the nigger in the picture with me, he smoked two niggas three summers ago. The fuck they got to do with me. I don't be with him every day. Just into photography. We happen to be at the same event.
Starting point is 00:29:24 We're standing there together talking and somebody said, yo, take a flick. Let's take it. All right, cool. Once we left that venue, I don't know what that man did with his life. I have nothing to do with that. But the same can't be said when you're successful and have, you know, all of this fame and notoriety. People are waiting. They're waiting for that moment to laugh at you and to tear you down.
Starting point is 00:29:42 That's just with this. This is another example because now all of a sudden this week, oh yeah, no, he been raping. What? He been raping. He been raping bitches is crazy. We watched this man get in the elevator with his wife and his sister-in-law. She kicking him, you know, near his loins. You know, we got to protect the loins.
Starting point is 00:30:02 Not one time did any of us think that Jay was going to hit Salon. So you mean to tell me, this dude that had that cool in that elevator, when he's being kicked and someone that didn't even look like he was about to swing. that's the same guy that held down a 13-old girl and raped her and raped her. That's the same guy. Like, come on, man. Stop the bullshit. He held the head.
Starting point is 00:30:19 Did he held the legs? He's like, come on. Let's make it make fucking sense. And I mean, I get the side of people saying this is why victims don't come out. Well, yeah, this is, none of this is consistent. It makes zero sense. And I think it's okay to say, hey, this makes zero sense.
Starting point is 00:30:35 I don't know if we should put rape on someone's jacket when nothing is consistent in this story at all. And not only that. It's sad because, you know, there are real victims of sexual assault in the world. And this is a spit in their face. Like, you don't play with that. You know, this is not something to joke with and to just make accusations and think that, oh, it's okay if you're lying. We'll just find out your line and that life going, no, this is not something that this, this lawyer was his name, Tony Busby.
Starting point is 00:31:02 Yeah. He should be this part. He should be, he should not be allowed to be a lawyer. He should not be allowed to practice law anywhere in the country. Oh, y'all should see what he's doing now. Now he's like, well, this case was handed to us by some of our associates and they did their due diligence. No, they didn't. But you weren't aware of shut up.
Starting point is 00:31:19 No, they didn't. I mean, it proves a hove calling him an ambulance chaser. You didn't vet anything. Somebody came to you or you heard someone say, yo, I know someone that says Jay did this. All right, let's do it. Yeah, but he played with the wrong person, though. Mm-hmm. And he tried to put something on the wrong person's jacket that, you know, this is somebody whose moral compass has been intact since forever.
Starting point is 00:31:38 You know what I mean? So to put that on his jacket. Tony Busby is his name. Well, allegedly. He's going to learn a valuable lesson behind this. There's certain people you can't play like that with. And I think the Me Too movement has been very valuable. And yes, it's made the energy the past few years very sensitive, rightfully so,
Starting point is 00:31:58 because there has been a lot of nasty shit. But it also allows people to take advantage of people that haven't done anything and be like, yo, I'll just settle just because I don't even want this coming out. I'm sure there's plenty of people that have not committed a single act of sexual assault that have behind the scenes settled with someone just so it didn't become a thing. Once that gets on your jacket, it's kind of over no matter what the evidence really is. That's why I do respect Hove getting ahead of it 10 minutes after it came out. Just to let everyone know, this is fucking false.
Starting point is 00:32:28 Yeah, no, but that's the difference. This isn't, we're not going to take time privately with our family. No, fuck all that. That's the difference. I didn't do shit. That's the difference when you know you're not. You don't got none of this nasty wild shit going on. You get right to it.
Starting point is 00:32:39 Who? What? Oh, yeah. Tell them. Yeah. Let's hear it. No, make it a criminal case. Don't make it civil. Make it criminal. Let her, who is this young lady? We need to know who she is so we can find justice for her if she was indeed sexually assaulted. Yeah, that's how you handle that. You don't let lawyers talk and not give
Starting point is 00:32:55 public statements. No, no, no, no, no. Let's handle this publicly. Let's get to the bottom of this. And in fact, if it did actually happen and it wasn't Jay-Z, let's- Let's find out who did it. Let's find out who did it. But I had said over the weekend, which we talked, we talked about. about on the last episode, I've found it kind of odd. Like, I get why people may not like Jay-Z. That's their prerogative, cool, whatever. But why are you upset that he didn't rape someone? Like, to me, that's the weird shit.
Starting point is 00:33:23 Because people are waiting for a moment to hate you. You're not at least relieved, like, oh, he didn't rape someone. No, people want to see him fail. They want to see him, you know, have that moment in the spotlight where everything he worked for, his legacy, everything is destroyed. People are waiting for that. They want that moment. And that's just another, this is just another case of that.
Starting point is 00:33:43 People want that moment. They think that you can't be young and black and successful and come from the ghetto. They don't think that you can make it out without doing some Illuminati ritual, drinking babies blood, raping children. That's the only way that you can, you know, achieve success in some people's eyes. So have fun with that case, Tony Busby. Yeah. Speaking of a non-consensual, I don't want to be in Cardi B and Offsets group chat anymore.
Starting point is 00:34:05 I didn't consent to this. Either get back together or leave me alone. you definitely text a bitch before like please like you look pretty like can I hit it again you definitely you definitely text your ex like one last time that's crazy please I have never in my life texted a woman please let me hit it again that is crazy what did uh I have alluded to like hey do you want to hang out tonight with the intention that we should fuck again but I didn't say please let me hit it again have some pride pride don't exist no more not with your babe mom shit that's what pride is the strongest
Starting point is 00:34:40 The only way you can beg to hit it is if it's over like 90s R&B courts. You can't do it in text message, Acapella. Let me hit it again. And it's funny because Cardi text is just the way she talks to. You never get in this pussy again. And I mean that. You know, I mean that. That's got a hurt to read, though.
Starting point is 00:35:01 You never get in this pussy again. Offset text like he speaks too. I want to fuck. I want you being like that to me. You feel like you're going to be on me if you do? I want you. It sounds like the first draft of AI. Because we've all been there.
Starting point is 00:35:14 The only thing I'm mad I don't see is the time that he sent those messages. Well, I want to see how. This conversation started at 11.05 p. No, no, no, no. I'm talking about his messages. How far apart are his messages? Well, they can't be that far apart because it doesn't have another time. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:27 So it was probably within that hour. He's rattling those hours. No, because sending that every 12 minutes is crazy. Because that's at what, 1155 p.m.? 11.05. Yeah, so it was within the hour where we would have said a whole new day. Yeah. That was back to.
Starting point is 00:35:40 back. And again, we've all been to the place that we've accepted when relationships are over and we're never going to have that pussy again. It's just part of life. But reading it, I feel like would sting. I've never had a woman say that to me. I knew I was never going to get that pussy again. All right. But let's ask the real question. Oh, that would sting. Like, let's ask a real question. Just to confirm, lose all hope. You're never fucking again. All right, but let's ask a real question. Is Cardi going to give him that pussy again? Probably. Let's make it. Where's the job? I don't want to throw Demaris under the best. Let's make a bet. Let's Let's make a bet.
Starting point is 00:36:12 $100 a piece. I don't want to put money on Cardi's pussy. I don't know we're not putting money on her pussy. I don't want to parlay her pussy. They have a child. They have children together. What's the over and under? But we have seen, let's go with history.
Starting point is 00:36:24 Cardi ain't never given anything. Let's go with history. He's never hitting that. We have seen this before in public with them. And then we saw them. I think it was like last year, New Year's or some shit. They were together in the club.
Starting point is 00:36:34 And then she admitted on IG Live. Like, yeah, I fucked him again. Like I want a dick. this is it's happened before bam yeah this was the last time i don't put it i don't put a past my sister to go back but what i where i think he might have fucked up is you had the whole entire internet you had podcast members screaming at each other trying to figure out if i fuck somebody while i was pregnant or not so you disrespected me in a way that's like you dragged it okay like you dragged it i'm gonna go against my gender i feel like that was offsets fault the only
Starting point is 00:37:04 reason why podcasters were screaming about it is because offset told us that's what to my point. If you did all of that, you had these people yelling about me. Like you had, like, you had, this was my, people were saying that I fuck somebody while pregnant. Now it's, no, you felt like you fucked up. She might be really turned off. Like, she might actually be turned off and over him. Well, they were seen together in Miami. But they weren't together. All right. They were separated. This thing keeps happening where they're not together, but they're always in the same club. And they're throwing money at each other in what looks like a playful man. So this is, this is flirting. They said, they said, they said this is all that birthday. He's clearly throwing money at her.
Starting point is 00:37:38 is she's returning the favor. In a good way or bad way? No, it looks like she's throwing it back. Like, fuck out of here. But this was his birthday, if I'm not mistaken. And they said his entire birthday, he stood up in that corner and watched Cardi have phone with her friends,
Starting point is 00:37:50 like his whole birthday. They love each other. It's fucked up love, but they love each other. I can see offset, like, asking a promoter to book both of them and they happen to run into each other. Like, what am I supposed to do? It's work.
Starting point is 00:38:02 Yeah. It's for our kids. I got to do this. All right, now that I see this video. Ah, yeah, she definitely going to get that niggas and push. Hell yeah. Why? Oh, come on.
Starting point is 00:38:10 Is Cardi squirking at a strip club? No, I could tell when a woman is off a nigga. Like, if she was really off that nigga, she would have left that party. You can't, well, no, because if you get... Contractually. Carty's, yeah, Cardi's not at a party because she's partying. Cardi's there because she's being paid to be there. You think Cardi went to Rolling Loud as a fan of music?
Starting point is 00:38:25 No, she was there. Yeah, but she was there because she was getting paid. Yeah, but she knew he would be there too. She might not have known that. She said it was getting paid. I said that she knew he was going to be there. Yeah, she knew he was going to be there. Okay, but to me that would prove
Starting point is 00:38:37 that she's really off him. I don't even care if he's there. Man, nah, she just got pretty and knew that she was looking good and walked up in there and knew that nigga was going to text her exactly what he texted. No, I think if she would have saw
Starting point is 00:38:48 that he was on a bill and didn't go, that would mean, yeah. There's still a chance that they could get back together. Bro. When a girl is so often that she'll show up because she does not give a fuck
Starting point is 00:38:59 that you're there whatsoever, it won't affect her. That's when you know it's over, over. Nah, he's going to get that again. It's when she's too emotional. about it. Oh, there was more to this screenshot, by the way. Of course there's more. He, he fucked. I miss your pussy. I miss your face. I miss your face you make when we fuck. And she said, she said, I don't feel like I'm a beyond you. Y'all niggas just don't deserve.
Starting point is 00:39:19 I got that same text and she, the Uber was downstairs in an hour. I got that same text before. They're gonna fuck again. Oh, that hit my heart. Yeah. That was. I tried to bring it up earlier, but like, I don't want to throw Demaris under the bus. But yet, here you are. Bus is rolling. But like, she. Wheels on the bus. You know, the bus. You know. Halloween thing. I'm never talking. And then here we go. Like it happens.
Starting point is 00:39:39 Yeah, but I'm not saying that's a Demeric specific. I'm just like people do that. Yeah, but I feel like like DeMera's situation is not quite the same as what Cardi and offset have been going through the last. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:50 Also just like the public breakups. Yeah. Like that's a wild thing when you're in the public eye. They made it public. Of course. That's what I said. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:58 He made it public. She, these are screenshots from her. It's not consensual that I'm in this fucking group chat. I know way too much about them when I should. Man. They was fucking that night. I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:40:08 I'm telling you they was fucking that night. Guaranteed they was fucking that night. Only reason they wasn't fucking is if Cardi was on her monthly. I really don't think Cardi's fucking that. I mean, well, Offset wouldn't have cared that night. He would have took that. I missed the face you make when we fuck. He's definitely running that red light.
Starting point is 00:40:26 Full speed. Yeah, Cardi, man, just get that nigga another shot. All right, why would you say that? No, Carrey, don't give him another shot. That's the father of her children. No, you don't think that Cardi deserves the ball. be love somebody with somebody that doesn't cheat on her and embarrass her? Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:40:38 Allegedly. I agree. I agree what you did. Allegedly. We did. That don't mean that offset didn't love her. We don't know the smear campaign that was put around off. Love ain't enough.
Starting point is 00:40:47 Love is not enough. No. It's not. Maul, how would you feel? All right, let's say you being my man's, text messages like this get leaked of me speaking that way. What would be the first conversation coming into this pod after you see me begging begging for the box
Starting point is 00:41:06 Get your loins together, control your loins, fan, what's wrong with you? You all right? I mean, but my loins was working. That's why I was asking. Yeah, but you got to control them, you got to control them though.
Starting point is 00:41:15 Nah. You can't go out. Not when I miss it like that. Nah, man, you can't go out like that. Go home. I mean, you, what day was at Miami? Yeah. You in Miami, they selling pussy.
Starting point is 00:41:25 It's the premium down here. They're selling that pussy everywhere. So instead of... Pussy plus? So instead of... Oh, they're selling pussy all up and down, Miami. So instead of trying to win my family back through the,
Starting point is 00:41:34 art of fucking. I can go pie some pussy in Miami. Yeah, them kids would be all right. You still take them to school. You still pick him up. You still see them. You still in their life. But I care about the nuclear family. No, but you... Sometimes I had to beg for that. Nah, man. Pride. You got to have some pride, man. You got to have some pride. See, what he was supposed to do was have
Starting point is 00:41:50 some bad bitches around him. And throwing that money on them. That's what he was supposed. He was supposed to keep it pee. Like, nigga, I see my baby mom. She good. She got security. She's safe. All right, cool. I'm over here with the homies we partying. Now I know my baby mother's going to get a lawsuit. Because Cardi's definitely knocking one of them chicks out.
Starting point is 00:42:06 Because I'm partying at my birthday party? You're adding logic into it. I don't know why you would do that. Yeah, but I'm just saying, like, you can't come up. We got to have some pride. Let her look crazy. Now, he look, let her look crazy. Now, she, he looked crazy with them text messages being put out there.
Starting point is 00:42:19 No, you would look crazy as a man. If you're big. If I'm partying at my birthday party? Recently broken up. You guys just had a kid, what? How many months ago? Like four. And you throwing money on a bunch of-
Starting point is 00:42:30 Strippers at a strip club? You were saying. ones that were selling pussy, but do you think strippers don't sell pussy? Of course not. That's illegal. Okay. They would never do that. Yeah. Come on. You still look nuts. As you just had a kid with her, don't throw money on bitches
Starting point is 00:42:45 when she's mad at you next two-section. What's his birthday? Yeah, like, what is he talking about? I'm at my birthday party. It's my birthday. It's my club appearance. It's my, like, I just did a headline set probably or whatever he was. Rolling about, like, I'm going to do what I want to do. I don't know if he was headlining rolling out. He probably was.
Starting point is 00:43:01 But like he, in that crowd, he plays well. Offset of rolling loud, that's a big. Yeah, offset did rolling loud. And Cuevo did 900,000 people in South Africa. Yeah. Oh, is that on the docket? Because I can't wait. Why?
Starting point is 00:43:14 Why? I can't wait. Congrats to Cuevo. Congrats to Cuevo. For selling out. The Cuevo. For selling out 900,000 people. You niggas, man.
Starting point is 00:43:23 Y'all niggas is crazy. Why did you? You know he has no nuance when it comes to this conversation. Why did you bring it back on? I have no nuance. Y'all niggas looked at me and said he is on, he's the same level as Chris Brown. Never said that. Congrats to Chris Brown.
Starting point is 00:43:35 That's incredible. You said they would not tell him to move at a fashion show. You said if they walked in together the fashion show, be more people there for Quavo than Chris Brown. You said that. And then Demaris doubled down on it. Do you guys know that Playboy Cardi leaked a new song on stage? What?
Starting point is 00:43:50 No way. Chris Brown sold 90,000 tickets in three minutes. Cool. You niggas could never do that. Who goes Africa like once every five years? See, you are a hater, bro. You are a hater. He only does it once every.
Starting point is 00:44:05 What does that mean? That means like, yeah, like if someone that's that big does something that infrequently in a country that loves him, yeah, like you can do that. You can sell 90,000. Yo, you are a hater. How's that hating? I don't think that's hating. Oh, here we go. Now you don't think that's hating.
Starting point is 00:44:21 Because I don't think that Julian is coming from a hate in place. If he did Africa. That was hate. I said he sold out 90,000. He was like, he only does it every three years. That's hate like he doesn't go there. So to go there, you do the massive arena. more than he will in Miami
Starting point is 00:44:35 because he doesn't do my he does Miami He does the USA more often That's why he couldn't do Miami Yo y'all sound crazy. He does the U.S. No, that doesn't sound crazy. When you do the USA more often, obviously in cities that you don't do more, y'all do tours, y'all know that you're Chris Brown could sell out any arena
Starting point is 00:44:53 That was my point that I was trying to make to y'all months ago and y'all was trying to make He needs this person to open up and sell tickets for him Would you said he need a little baby on tow him to sell those tickets? Well, he did. I'm sure I said that. y'all are crazy. Y'all be disrespecting that kid, man. Well, that man, I'm sorry, he's not a kid.
Starting point is 00:45:09 I feel like we owe Rolling Loud sunflowers. I think they're creating generational wealth. Every two weeks, Future Travis Scott and Playboy Cardi headline a huge festival. They're making so much money. Everyone on this lineup does it every other. It's biweekly at this point. They are creating generational wealth for every one of these artists. Some of these artists never have to make music again
Starting point is 00:45:29 because they can just do Rolling Loud three times a month. Oh, they had Shibuzi on the bill. That's cool. Oh, they did? That's cool. On Sunday. Like, we, I, if I'm an artist, I'm inviting whoever started rolling loud to, like, my wedding to, like, my kids christening. They are putting so much money into artist's pockets. Like, festivals typically have been once a fucking year with a crazy bill.
Starting point is 00:45:53 They do this nonstop in every city with damn near the same lineup. And kids keep going. I know. I love it. Opposite of hate. I mean, I don't, you know, think Chris Brown would be able to make. make that line up, but maybe one day if he gets there. I hear you.
Starting point is 00:46:10 That doesn't, you know what I mean? Like, why you think that that's, that's, you're wrong. Just admit it. You was wrong. Yeah, I've said that. Nah. We both said it 50 times. How many times I've been wrong?
Starting point is 00:46:20 DeMaris definitely say she was wrong. I never heard that. Bro, I, whatever. Say it again. Because you don't shut the fuck up. Say it again. Say it again. Say you was wrong.
Starting point is 00:46:27 You shut the fuck. Say you was wrong. Say you was wrong. Nah. Exactly. It's like bitter baby mother shit. I've apologized how many times. I don't remember that.
Starting point is 00:46:35 Stop bringing up the past. I've apologized. Let's move on. We said that we were wrong. We said that we were wrong. I don't remember that. But we didn't allow you to tell us what the fuck we said. We said that's not what we said, but what we did say was wrong.
Starting point is 00:46:46 That's what we said the last time we had this conversation. You didn't say Chris Cuevo was a household name or something like that? Nobody said. I understand that we've caused tension in this relationship. But if we want to stay together, you have to get over this. I've apologized for it. I think somebody, I think DeMaris said Damigos are a household name just like Chris Brown. Nobody ever said that.
Starting point is 00:47:02 I think you're just making things up at this point. Julian, can you pull a clip? I don't know what the original clip. Yes. We are. Either way, don't pull it up. Either way, Miami made so much money in the last two weeks
Starting point is 00:47:16 between Art Basel and Rolling Loud. Art Basil's back. We didn't talk about that last episode. I felt like Art Basil took it never went away. I know, but it didn't feel the same the last few years. Yeah, it felt like it went away. COVID, I get whatever. This past year, the one that just.
Starting point is 00:47:32 Everybody was there. It looked amazing. And then right into Rolling Loud, I feel like Miami residents shouldn't pay taxes for a while. You know much money is now in Miami just because of the last two weeks? And speaking of Miami, Billboard put out their top 10 Miami anthems. We did, we've talked about Chicago so far. And we've talked about Atlanta so far. So they just announced Miami, which I think was great timing with Basil and with Rolling Loud. That's right, Rory. Today we are speaking about Thresenado Conez Tequila and Billboard. teaming up with DJ Alex Sensation and Trina, some local Miami stars. The baddest. And they put together and curated a top 10 get-up anthem for the city of Miami that speaks to the city and the culture of Miami, some favorite songs that go off in Miami that we
Starting point is 00:48:19 recognize a lot when we go to Miami. And with Chicago and Atlanta, we agree with some, but we definitely had some notes. So let's go through this Miami one. We start at, there's a lot of ties here. There's 12 songs on this list. Which sometimes I get it, but to me it's a bit of a cop out, like make a decision. But I would never say that to Trina's face. So let me just go ahead and read what they have put together.
Starting point is 00:48:41 Yeah. At number 10, get low, flow rider. And at number 10, again, act up city girls. So far, I'm okay. I don't know. I might lean get low. I'm just saying that that's a... It was a classic.
Starting point is 00:48:57 It's a classic. One of the first times off memory that I had a girl grind on me was to get low. There you go. See? You got low. Destroyed my clothing. You know, and like the address would just... And you had on corduroy, so it was worse.
Starting point is 00:49:08 Oh, it's bad. I was a brick the fuck up. I don't want to take away from City Girls Act Up. Like, I can see it being in the top 10, but... I mean, I don't know. It was just so... I felt like it just happened. Give it some time to see if it lasts.
Starting point is 00:49:20 I mean, it's five years ago. At number nine, shake what your mama gave you, JT. Money. Classic. Yeah, by far. Also at number nine. Mall, you can do this because you're a Puerto Rican. Esa Morena. by DJ Las.
Starting point is 00:49:33 You don't know nothing about that. I don't. Yeah, see, that ain't even, yeah, that's not your field house right there. You know, but that's by Lando. Number eight, classic. Yeah. That come on.
Starting point is 00:49:42 I know. I'm aware of that one. I can do number seven, because it's in English, hustling by Rick Ross. There you go. Then number six, Mall, you have this one.
Starting point is 00:49:52 Gulo! Pit bull and low jar. I feel like that may, should that be higher? It might need to be higher. That's a head. Number six, that's kind of crazy to put that at number six.
Starting point is 00:50:01 Look at number five, though. Yeah, number five should be number one. I want to rock Uncle Luke. That could be number one in a fucking heartbeat. Let me explain something to you about I want to rock, all right? That right there, they've been twirking and shaking ass for 30-something years to that song. Yeah, I could see that being number one. Number four, all I do is when I want to go to the judges.
Starting point is 00:50:18 DJ Khalid, Ludacris, T. Payne, Snoop Dog, Rick Ross. The only person from Miami in this lineup is Rick Ross. Not Caled. Callis from New Orleans. He wraps Miami hard. Okay. He does. But if that's the case.
Starting point is 00:50:31 Then I guess all I do is when should be there. But is that because of Caled or Ross when it comes to the Miami thing? I mean, it's a Calid record, isn't it? Yeah, it is. Yeah. That's Calid.
Starting point is 00:50:41 Okay. Caled's been on Radio Miami for years. Is all I do is win the best Khalid song? No. Well, not for me, no. Anthem-wise, all I do is win definitely is there,
Starting point is 00:50:56 but even Rihanna and Bryson went fucking crazy. Yeah. Is that not considered Miami me if we're considering like we're taking over We taken over was fire But I feel like the Wayne remix
Starting point is 00:51:06 Was bigger than the actual song But I guess all I do is when I'm fine with that with Calid At number four Number three The Baddest bitch Pull over Trina I think that's totally fine
Starting point is 00:51:16 Even though she put the list together It should be there And then Maul can take one and two Based off my complexion Especially number one I'm definitely not saying that shit You look like you can be from You know one of the islands
Starting point is 00:51:28 Konga Gloria Estefan In the Miami Sound Machine I don't even think You was born yet, Rory, when that was rock in 1985? I was born in 1990. Yeah, he was, ah, he's still in the sacks. Uh, number one, La Negra Tiena Tumbao, Ossilia Cruz.
Starting point is 00:51:43 Y'all don't know nothing about that. I still think Uncle Rook, Uncle Luke, I want to rock. Should be number one. Nah, but we gotta have Trick Daddy Nan, though. That ain't up there? That is fucking crazy. Do you think that's because Trina and Trick Daddy have, like, Rocky relationships?
Starting point is 00:51:57 I don't care what relationship they got. The fact that Trick is not on this at all is insane. Yeah, they should have been tired. Nah got to be on that top ten. But that's not a get up anthem, though. Shit, put that song on in Miami. Watch what happened. Oh, no, I'm gonna get my ass up.
Starting point is 00:52:09 This is what I don't know. That's a get up anthem. I don't know. I think they meant like hyperactive songs. That's a hyperactive song. Not really. Man, when Ned come on, all right now.
Starting point is 00:52:19 If you're holding a drink, it's gonna be on the floor. Yeah. That's a fact. I also think BMF could be on here, no? Ooh, yeah. Yeah. That's like for us.
Starting point is 00:52:28 That's kind of crazy. Yeah. Like, hustling I understand, but I feel like BMF is the bigger Rick Ross record. If that comes on in Miami, BMF is doing bigger than hustling. Well, I feel like these people are from Miami, so I think what we might get motherfuckers up in New York might be different in Miami. It might be a little different.
Starting point is 00:52:46 I'm going to just go out on the limit and say, NAA's going to get you up in Miami. No, for sure. I'm talking about Loss saying, I mean, Rory saying the different Rick Ross songs. Oh, okay. All right. Trick Daddy, Thug Holiday. I'm a thug. Slip and Slide.
Starting point is 00:53:00 There's like 10 different. We need more Trick Daddy songs on this list, though, that's for sure. But, I mean, you know, we got to let DJ Alex and Station and Trina do what they do. NAN really, I don't know, maybe I feel this way because I'm a girl. NAN really gets people up because of, I feel like Trina's the kind of the thing on that record. Like, Trina is what makes that. But they're both from Miami, so I don't think it matters. Yeah, but what I'm saying is if Trina was going to pick a song that she was on,
Starting point is 00:53:26 her song is a bigger get-up anthem than Nant. man listen I remember that ass too fat that's a bigger get up in the first time I saw that NAM video and Trina took that coat off I was a little boy in the crib watching video but I was stuck I said who is that
Starting point is 00:53:43 I wanted to watch that video every time it came on There has to be a reason like that has to be some issue with Trina and Trick Daddy the fact that that is not on there You could argue that could be number two let alone not even in the top 10 Yeah what about there's no record from the two live crew. That's crazy as well.
Starting point is 00:54:01 Well, Uncle Luke, I mean, but as two live crew. Ace Hood is not from Miami, though. He's just Florida, right? I believe so. I don't know if he's from Miami. Because if not, hustle harder. Yeah, he's from Port and St. Luce. Okay. I was going to say,
Starting point is 00:54:17 leaving Ace Hood off this shit. I feel like no. Bugatti is a, that's a top 10 Florida record. But there's only 10 spots, and I feel like everybody on this list deserves to be on there. Oh, there's 12 spots. Oh, no, no, I'm not mad to any of these songs. I mean, I mean, you know, I understand the culture, but I could have did without Conga.
Starting point is 00:54:34 I love Gloria Sophani. But that's not fair. Everyone that's done there. That's Miami. How's that not fair? I love the record. I mean, I grew up listening to that. But I'm just saying, like,
Starting point is 00:54:43 I would have put Nair there before Conga, me personally. Killer Mike did the Atlanta one. I think Twisted did Chicago. Everyone's done a good job of representing all the sounds of their city. So like Miami is all over the place with sounds in a good way. That's a lot of culture there. They did a pretty good job. of trying to include.
Starting point is 00:55:00 All these songs belong on a Miami Get Up Anthem list. But, you know, I just nah is, come on. That's like, I think when you land in Miami, they play that. Like, you can pick up your bags. Waiting for your gate to me. You can pick up your bags of Carousel 3 and they got that plane.
Starting point is 00:55:16 For sure. I'm still on the side of BMF. But other than that, I think it's a cool list. Shout out to DJ Alex Sensation and Trina for putting together this list. Also shout out to Billboard and Thres Hanaro Cionis. No gun play.
Starting point is 00:55:31 Blasphemous. Yeah, I think they was trying to stay away from gun. They didn't want that issue right there. You know, we fuck with it, but let's leave them off this list, man. Denzo Curry is from Miami, but I feel like, I guess, with the get-up anthem thing, I don't know if there's a record that would land on that. Yeah, I don't think, I don't know if Denzo got a get-up anthem. Good music.
Starting point is 00:55:52 Why do you think they didn't reach out to your home girl? You asked Jules for this. contractually probably sign with somebody else at the moment can't really do that what's Billboard's rival Complex Sprite maybe I don't know
Starting point is 00:56:07 Algorithms Yeah So I walked into work today You walk to work I walked into work No I didn't walk I didn't walk from New Jersey Walked into work And I heard like some like a Snoop Dog
Starting point is 00:56:20 and Jeanne song playing But I'm like they're from the West Coast Maybe this some old shit Then Roy Kmartin'all was like Yo this Snoop Dog and Dr. and Dre album this shit hitting. Now, Maul, do you remember we had a whole conversation
Starting point is 00:56:33 about this hour? Yeah, I said I didn't want to hear it, yeah. I thought, Rory said he didn't want to hear it. I said that too. I mean, I said I wasn't rushing to it. I didn't particularly care. Yeah, I said we didn't ask for it. Like, we wasn't expecting to get this album, but I'm not, you know, it's two legends. Oh, so you weren't on my side. Okay, I thought you were on my side. No, no, but I mean, it's still Snoop and Dre, two legends, but I don't know if we
Starting point is 00:56:50 wanted an album for them in 2024. Like, I'm still waiting on Chronic, too. That's just me. Oh, no, the detox, I'm sorry. Chronic. You got it, Compton album. This is why this podcast needs healing, because I had no problem apologizing for my Chris Brown take.
Starting point is 00:57:07 And now Demaris is trying to do a gotcha moment because I said I wasn't rushing to this Snoop Dog and Dr. Dre album. And I listened to it today. And it's way, way better than I expected at all. I'm okay with saying I was wrong. So you like it? I do. And I went into it thinking,
Starting point is 00:57:24 let me listen to this for the podcast. I'm sure I'm going to hate it, which is a hater mentality. Yeah, yeah. But we have seen people that are not active in rap. Snoop is a legend in his own right. I don't need to say that. But I didn't know if Snoop was in shape. This could just be two lifelong friends back in the studio just trying to make some music for fun. I wasn't expecting much. I did think it was going to sound weird and outdated. It's fucking great. the production is insane. I mean, it's Dre, but I still went in not thinking if Dre was even in shape at the moment. I know he records nonstop, but we never hear anything,
Starting point is 00:58:03 so I don't know where he's at in his life. This entire thing is fire. It's like oddly good. Man, Coco Saras on two joints? Okay. It's really, really good. And Snoop, who I thought would be out of touch and I probably wouldn't like his rhymes,
Starting point is 00:58:19 we're great. Yeah? It doesn't sound like yesterday year rap where they just brag about like how they're legends. I know. It's just cool.
Starting point is 00:58:26 It's cool fucking beach and good music. You sold me. I'm going to listen to it. You sold me. You sold me. I'm going to listen to it. Hmm. The Jeney record,
Starting point is 00:58:33 gorgeous is crazy. Tom Petty and Jelly Roll when nuts. What does Tom Petty and Jelly Row going nuts sound like? What is that? How does Tom Petty and Jelly Road nuts? I mean, you know, it makes a white man blush. That's just good old folk.
Starting point is 00:58:48 Oh, okay. Good old folk music. Yeah, with the, with the dray drum? Okay. No, with the Dre drums. Okay. Yeah, it, you know, made you think like, this is the new Bob Dylan type shit.
Starting point is 00:58:58 Okay. I'm trying to think which, because again, listen to us today. That one record we were talking about, guns and smoke. Guns and smoke. Julie just wants to shit on Eminem. No, no, I'm genuinely asking.
Starting point is 00:59:11 All right, coming in, again, objective, because everyone knows I'm a 50 stand and I'm not the biggest M&M stand. I thought M's verse was great. I thought 50 was a little behind on it wasn't really my favorite 50 joint, but M was cool. All right. Yeah, it's not a bad em verse.
Starting point is 00:59:28 It's set up for M to rap for a while, but it's not, you know, lyrical miracle, super fragilistic shit. It's a regular cool tray drums and M rapping for a while. It's a good project, man. I went in wanting to hate, and it's good. All right, I got to check it out now. That pressure beat is crazy. Now that you put all of that on it, I got to, I got to, you dressed it up and made it real.
Starting point is 00:59:51 man I gotta check it out I think it was the pressure song which sounded like um that song is still on mall's mind what song sorry he said dress that I make it real like you're still thinking about oh no I'm just saying Maul came into the studio playing March Madness he's been saying that since we started so that's fine
Starting point is 01:00:08 even Damaris which he didn't realize we were listening to the album during the Jene one then it went to the pressure beat and she was like yo what's this yeah I started bouncing like up and down I said oh what's this it's really good like it's really good I'm gonna check it out and if it ain't
Starting point is 01:00:23 I'm on your ass next episode I mean it's fine if you don't like it I won't lose sleep oh that's a shot at y'all by the way
Starting point is 01:00:33 I don't know if y'all I don't know if y'all I'm just saying that's a shot at chaw he shot at chaw and y'all and y'all don't just let y'all
Starting point is 01:00:43 like y'all literally today is our perfect day and keep pissing on it I'm just saying he shot at chaw and y'all looking at me tomorrow You're supposed to be like, excuse me? It was a if the shoe fits thing. If you and I have a disagreement in music, I didn't feel.
Starting point is 01:00:55 If you and I have a disagreement in music, I don't particularly care. We can just both like what we like and still be friends. That's a fact. That's a fact. We'll all be still family. I'll still listen to the Dre album. I'm going to listen to it, though. No, you're not. I am.
Starting point is 01:01:14 I'm going to listen to. Demaris, are you going to cook to this album? There were some records you could cook to. Cooking with Maris. Tom Patty and Jellyboro. Don't do that because you say that three times. Leak your sex date. Oh my God. Too soon, my bad.
Starting point is 01:01:28 I think that shit is corny, by the way. I don't co-sign any of that. I don't think it's funny. Did they look it? I think anyone that leaks sex tape is corny as fuck. That was a really good. Who's that? This is Demaris's TikTok corner. So, Demaris's TikTok corner is funny. So cooking with Kaya is a young girl. I think she's 23, who has gone super viral because she, like, makes, like, just cute little meals in her kitchen. And she, like, twerks. And she has a little theme song that we were just singing. It's very, like, it's very addictive. But she's blowing up because all the boys her age, she's 23. So all the boys her age, girls don't cook at 22, 23, right?
Starting point is 01:02:00 These niggas are starving eating ramen noodles playing a video game. But she's gone so viral. Herb, she has a huge male fan base now and they're just like, Kai, is the greatest woman in the world, this, this and that. And you know when that happens when women start getting attention for things, there's a bunch of haters, both women and men, who are now hating on her. And it's become this whole big thing. That means you're doing something good.
Starting point is 01:02:20 Yes. You know you're doing something good. Yes, it's become this whole big thing. But apparently someone leaked her sex. tape. Oh, that's how she'd be cooking? Yeah, I don't think that's her. I didn't see, I mean, I didn't see the footage.
Starting point is 01:02:32 I just saw on Twitter everyone was talking about her sex tape was leaking. Yeah. But to your point, the moment men started saying, yo, get you a Kaya, all the women had to go find a reason why she was a whore. And like, all right, she's an adult woman that has sex. I don't think that went the way you thought it was going to go. Yeah. Women are mad because although she traditionally posts food making videos, she started posting
Starting point is 01:02:54 non-food-related content guys. How dare she? Oh, that's when you leaked it? She should die. Yeah, bitch is like, my man is on this same internet. Well, bitch, get in the kitchen. I don't know what to tell. If your man is,
Starting point is 01:03:04 if your man is obsessed with a girl on the internet that cooks and twerks out. What's better than food and pussy? That's like the basis of a strip club. Fair. He ate. Like, what? You're going to get mad at that?
Starting point is 01:03:18 I mean, if a woman does cook and you catch your man just looking at other cooking pages while she's twerking. I could see that. upsetting the household a bit. But if you some bum chick that doesn't cook for your man, then I mean, you have no, sit Indian style and shut the fuck up.
Starting point is 01:03:32 Enjoy that content. So women are mad at her because their boyfriends are watching her cook and twerk. The internet gets weird every day. So she's blown up on TikTok. She has like a couple million followers now. But I don't know what the influencers are going to do when TikTok like leaves next month.
Starting point is 01:03:53 Y'all know TikTok is leaving next month. It's official. Is it official? It's official. I mean, they say that all the time, but I don't know if that's really the case. And also, before we do get to the TikTok going away shit, we are shitting on women because they hate on this young lady. But there's no way that sex tape or alleged sex tape didn't come from a man. A girl didn't have that shit.
Starting point is 01:04:14 Yeah. A corny ass man did that. So I don't want to just put it on the women. Yeah. It's, y'all should watch her content, though. What should I cook? What's like your favorite dish from her? Oh, I don't, I know how to cook.
Starting point is 01:04:28 I don't need to watch that. But, but I think I'm vegan. She don't make vegan dishes, so I can't. Does she? I'm just talking shit. I don't think so. Okay. No, she doesn't get vegan vibes.
Starting point is 01:04:37 Yeah, I won't be watching that. But shout out to her, though, man. Well, what are you guys going to do when TikTok goes away January 29th? I don't have TikTok. It means nothing to me. I'm not even on TikTok. I'm a jump. From where?
Starting point is 01:04:51 Give me a bridge. I don't know. What's a good one? It's over? Pack you up? Can't do it on TikTok live. TikTok is life, man. But also, we're laughing and joking,
Starting point is 01:04:59 but outside of from a consumer perspective, TikTok has made a lot of millionaires. A lot of millionaires. I agree. So of a lot of platforms. That means people can just pay their bills and buy groceries now. So much it takes, a million dollars.
Starting point is 01:05:13 Listen, you ain't lying. My thing is just TikTok has built up like a lot of influencers. And I just, as a creator, I'm not rich off TikTok, but just as a creator who's looking at this, I'm wondering what these people are going to do because Instagram doesn't,
Starting point is 01:05:24 Instagram is a completely different platform. On TikTok, you can open your phone and just start talking and people, you'll get millions and millions of likes from it. It doesn't really work like that on Instagram. There's people that do it, but it's not as common. So it's like, do these people go to YouTube? I've been telling people to go to YouTube for that. But maybe shorts.
Starting point is 01:05:43 I don't know. I don't know who's going to pick up the slack from TikTok because people, I know we all laugh like, oh, we're too good for TikTok. TikTok is a huge fucking platform. It's probably the biggest social media. I'm just not good at it. That's all. There could literally just be because can't they just develop another app?
Starting point is 01:05:57 Just do the same thing. I mean, Vine was very similar to it. There's been a lot of models of what TikTok is for years, but TikTok mastered it. Because ByteDance has been around forever. TikTok's just like their fifth iteration of the app, which was already around. Yeah, they were musically before, if I'm not mistaken. So I'm just saying, like, why isn't an American company just... Have we seen that really work?
Starting point is 01:06:18 TikTok repurposed a lot of apps that already existed. Have we seen that work anywhere else besides TikTok? Like, we've seen replacements for Twitter X a million times. I've even signed up for them. I lasted one week when right back to Twitter. Yeah, how's threads doing? Threads is tanking to the point they're like forcing us to click it to even post a fucking comment. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:38 That's not working. The big three just kind of remains. The only time we've really seen it outside of TikTok was Facebook taking over Myspace. Well, I think the issue, I think where it might be successful if somebody does create a TikTok dupe is if we don't have access to TikTok. Like we, of course, we can go to these fake Twitters, but Twitter still exist and all of our friends are still on the original Twitter. I feel like if we can't access TikTok and everybody, everybody has to move to one different app, I feel like it'll garner more success. Yeah, Twitter wasn't a new app. It was just a rebrand. So it's not like people
Starting point is 01:07:11 had to redownload something. No, he's talking about the new Twitters, though, like the social, like the, whatever Don Lemon went. The pussy liberal one, blue, bluesky, whatever that is. Blue sky. Where they like respect people. Not my type of app. Blue ski? It's like, yeah, you must have this many pro now to join. You know it's trash. Blusky?
Starting point is 01:07:32 Not a single joke on that app whatsoever. It's that people were kinder on there. It's so nice. A kinder place? Go be kind with like your friends and family. I want to see bullshit on my Twitter top line. You guys know, God, I'm not trying to rage for it right now. But you guys know like that there's like barbershops now that say they add
Starting point is 01:07:50 they're advertised as like all are welcome. We're not, you know, gender. conforming by we'll cut anybody's hair. It's like we care all your fucking barbershop. And then you get in the chair and the, the hairdresser will say is it a can I touch you? Before you get a haircut, you're there
Starting point is 01:08:07 to get a haircut. The question is, can I touch you? What if you say no to that? What the fuck are you going to do? I wish I would sit my barber's chair. He said, yo, can I touch you? Do I have permission to touch you or something like that? Like they ask for you have to do everything. Cut my fucking hair so I can get up. out of here, man. What are we talking about? Can I touch you? That bothers me so much.
Starting point is 01:08:28 Did they ask you? No, no, no. I've just seen. I've seen videos. Like, I've seen this thing. At the gay barber shop. At the day the mishap. Can I touch you? But that doesn't shock me because I watched a whole piece that Pierce Morgan did that we should be asking our babies and toddlers for permission to change their diaper. Like ask for consent. Who said it? I think he was being funny. No, no. He was arguing with the two crazy bitches that thought we should do that. Oh. Yeah. It was real. It's 100% real. Oh, Pierce Morgan was arguing. Yes.
Starting point is 01:08:57 Oh, yeah, he's not trying to let. He's not trying to hear that shit. Pierce Morgan ain't trying to hear that. And then just asking simple questions to these outraged ladies, like, all right, how am I supposed to ask someone that doesn't know how to communicate if I can change their diaper? Yeah. You can see it in their eyes. All right.
Starting point is 01:09:12 You are wasting air time right now. Please. Get the fuck out. That's just rage baiting. I do think that the thing with kids are asking kids, can you hug them instead of just parents? Because when I was younger, my parents was like, give your aunt a hug. If you don't want to hug somebody as a kid, you don't have to.
Starting point is 01:09:26 I mean, if you're at that age where you could communicate that, then okay, yeah, I agree. If I walk in, Demaris, you have a baby and I see you asking your baby, hey, can I change your shit? Oh, no, I'm not talking about that. That's stupid. I'm calling the police on you. I'm like, yo, she's crazy.
Starting point is 01:09:39 This is postpartum, I think. And she's asking an infant. Call her the police because I have postpartum. She's asking the infant with a shitty diaper. Can I change your diaper? Like, what are we talking about it? But, I mean, I do agree with Demaris. Like when, when a, if I ask him Marriss,
Starting point is 01:09:53 kiss and she says no, I let her know that that's okay to say no to. I think that's important because I'm with you. Like when you're a kid and go hug you, like, I don't want to do that. Right. No, I get it. That's what I get it. I'm, I have to fucking hug everyone in my family. No, I just want to sit over here and mind my fucking business. Don't touch me.
Starting point is 01:10:09 Right. Weirdos, unless I'm shitting in my diaper. Exactly. I agree. You have no choice. When kids can communicate that, I totally agree. I'm with that. Okay. I'm going to sound like a liberal cuck. Yes. I'm not that mad that there's a bar. shop that does that. Maybe some people have like really crazy intimacy touching issues and still
Starting point is 01:10:29 need to get haircuts. Maybe that place makes them feel safer. If that was like standard at every barbershop, I'd start laughing and cloud everyone. All right. Let me tell you what thing we're not doing. It's only one. Don't do this. We don't do this outrage Republican shit where one thing happens and now the whole world thinks that way. We're not one drag queen read one book to one kindergartner and now the whole world thinks that drag queens are trying to switch. You do not agree with that shit. You do not. You do agree with that shit. Well, I don't think, this is my thing.
Starting point is 01:10:55 I don't need to agree. I don't care. If it's not harming anybody, it's not impairing on my, what I like to have received at my regular hair salons, then that's fine. I don't mind, I think that's weird shit.
Starting point is 01:11:07 Not weird in a bad way, but just, I think it's a little off. But I don't mind people having their own shit in their own corners of the world. That don't have nothing to do with me. If it don't affect you, why would it,
Starting point is 01:11:16 why would you even, why would you care? My problem. Somebody, go ahead, Ma. Being, asking the bar,
Starting point is 01:11:22 Your barber asking you, do you mind if I touch you is fucking crazy. Yes, but I don't mind people doing crazy shit on their own time. That's what I'm saying. Like, come on with this shit, man. Why are you here? Cut your own fucking hair. People pay for like, get out of here. Like, get out of here.
Starting point is 01:11:36 This is a barbershop. I have to touch your fucking head. I have to brush your hair. I have to comb your hair. I have to put clippers here. I have to touch you. I shouldn't ask you. But that's the point of this barbershop.
Starting point is 01:11:46 I mean, if this was a universal rule that the Democrats put in place for every barbershop has to do, then I'm on your side. Then I'm full-blown Tucker Carlson Fox News. This is crazy, this agenda. But if there's one fucking hippie hipster barbershop that wants to ask this to lesbians, do, like, have a blast, bro. I don't care.
Starting point is 01:12:04 I don't care. We need to bring back mental asylum. I don't care. Put these fucking cooks in the fucking mental asylum. I'm tired of seeing these fucking coops. I'm tired of seeing these fucking cooks. These fucking cooks. These fucking crazy bat shit people walking around.
Starting point is 01:12:18 You walk into the Bronx. Put them in the fucking mental asylum. Bring back mental health facilities. You got an equinox on every fucking corner. The Republicans are taking them away. Put fucking mental health facilities on every corner just like you got a Starbucks. Mall, you walk into the barbershop in the Bronx and this is your interaction.
Starting point is 01:12:33 That would never be my interaction. Yeah. Okay, cool. And what are your pronouns? They know. She is a joke. I'm glad we exchanged those. Yes. Okay. I'm glad that you came in today to give me. This is fake. That's not fake. I think that that's
Starting point is 01:12:48 very much real. This was the original one. This was the original one. Yeah, and the shop is empty. Nobody. everybody's going to this fucking place, man. Get out of here with this shit. But I also think the way that she asked. And her head has already cut. I don't. So the way that she asked was not in a,
Starting point is 01:13:02 am I allowed to touch you? I think it was more in a, like when you go to the doctor's office, you know that the doctor has to touch you. But she usually is like, all right, she lets you know that she's about to touch you because some people are weird
Starting point is 01:13:14 about being surprised, like being touched and not knowing exactly when it's coming. If that makes sense. When the clippers go on, you know it's about that. If we're talking about getting a physical, cool and shit like that's different because you your women have to get you know their
Starting point is 01:13:25 private areas look at an examiner just talking about that just regular just okay whatever it is the doctor's office I can understand that because you know the doctor has to check your anatomy if you sit in a barber's chair and can I touch you like you mean can you cut my hair yeah but I don't now and my barber says can I touch you lift my cape up and try to go then it's a problem I have got as long as you stay above the shoulders we good fam like again like I said my point is I don't think it's am I allowed to touch you she knows you're going to get It's more, it's more, can I touch you, I'm about to touch you. You know when the touch is about to come because some people are weird about that.
Starting point is 01:13:58 Damaris, I've never sat down in a barber. She hadn't been surprised that the barber touched my head. Because that's you. Oh. Every year, your experience. Oh, what is that? Clippers? You fucking pervert.
Starting point is 01:14:05 What are you doing? Was that a brush? Don't you just spraying water on me? What the fuck are you talking about? I bet you'd like to know when they're about to spray the alcohol on your fucking forehead. I can see it. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:15 I can see it. I can see it. I'm staring in the mirror the whole time. It's, it's stupid, man. But at the doctor's office, when I've gotten my colon checked, he never, like, warns me, here comes the plane. Like, he just sticks his fingers in my ass. Here comes to the plane.
Starting point is 01:14:28 I guarantee you, he does not just bend you over spread your fucking hole and sticks his finger in your ass. Well, first of all, that's not how it goes. You lay in the fetal position on the side of the deli paper. And then he inserts his fingers into your ass on. I guarantee he tells you he's about to stick his fingers in your ass. He does not just stick his fingers in your ass with no warning. Rory asks for the stirrups, then goes reverse on him. Positive he doesn't because he knows when I get in the fetal position, I'm aware that he's about to stick.
Starting point is 01:14:48 Oh, I bet you were ready. Well, you're never ready. I thought he's about to say when he knows when I get in a fetid position, I'm ready. I thought that you was about to say. Like, you have this, like, synergy with each other. He's not even a professional doctor. He's not even a professional doctor.
Starting point is 01:15:03 You've never, you've never, you, I like deli paper at my house. This is in my home. He doesn't have his certificates on a wall. No, no, no, no, no. This is role play. The deli paper. That's his version of the Soho.
Starting point is 01:15:17 Oh, shit. But no, the doctor, the doctor doesn't say, anything, there's someone there that has to be a witness. But no, he doesn't say it. You just get in the fetal position and just wait. Yeah. It's up to him. Just have your way, sir.
Starting point is 01:15:29 Wait for your lashings. Hey, yo. Is your prostate healthy, though? Yeah. Okay, good. I'm happy. Molly's yours? Yeah, it is.
Starting point is 01:15:39 I'm going to get next year, though. Oh, nice. Are you ready for a... You haven't checked yet? Yeah. Oh, okay. I'm just going to, I'm getting a physical next year. What was it used to be every five years for a colonel?
Starting point is 01:15:49 Mascape? What is it? I think they changed it. I think it's now a year, like, less of a weight. Where it used to be every five years, they'd probably start around every four years. Forty is average, right? Yes, yeah. They record, I remember being at one point, it used to be every five years now. I think they're saying every three to four. You should get a check. I just feel like with the food we have, younger people should get them. You should flush out that. That's the number one. If I'm not mistaken, I was reading an article on it. That's the number one killer of Gen Z, I want to say right now. is colon cancer? Oh, I mean, for men, colon cancer is our breast cancer now. Like, unfortunately, personally, the amount of men I know that have passed from colon cancer in the last 10 years is insane. But check your booty hole, man. It's okay. Even if he doesn't warn you that he's
Starting point is 01:16:35 going to touch you, your doctor has your best interest at heart. Let let him finger you so you can live a long healthy life. And just not making it weird because you're going to scare people all. Even if it is for pleasure. Stop being a pussy and let that man finger you. Even if it is for the doctor's pleasure, it still has health benefits for you. I haven't figured out a different way to do it. No, because they got to be able to touch it. They got to be able to feel the stuff.
Starting point is 01:16:58 I mean, just scan me. You can see through my whole anatomy. You're like, put me in the fucking in the incubator. But they won't be able to feel the lumps. The stroke's different. Yeah. And those are... AI is going to replace everything but that test.
Starting point is 01:17:12 But the booty in the finger. That stays the same. They don't get rid of that part of the test. Cars will drive themselves. We can't. You will have to have a finger in 20 minutes now, but I still have to put two fingers. And I wish for like, now granted, like, I don't know. Like I just, I wish women, the things we had to go through was as easy.
Starting point is 01:17:30 Like a finger in the ass, that's nothing. Somebody's taking up. Yeah, that's Monday. Yeah, right. That's when I'm in. Everybody's taking a popsicle stick and going in all the way inside my body and scraping. Yeah, not, not scraping with the popsicle stick. Yeah, you'd think they'd find something better than wood.
Starting point is 01:17:44 Like, what if you got a sliver? Yeah. Like, couldn't that happen? It's wood. Yeah, but it's a different type of... It's medical grade, baby. I don't think I'm going to get a pussy splinter. Has anyone like...
Starting point is 01:17:54 It's definitely happened. Double check. Is there anyone that like went to medical school but dropped out but could give us the info of like why I have to cough when you're cuffing my ball? Oh, it's for your hemorrhoid. Check hemorrhoids. I know, but like what? I've even done it myself.
Starting point is 01:18:06 Like I've coughed and held my nuts. Like what are they feeling? Hernia, sorry. Yo, get out hernia. Get out your butt, dog. My bad. We were talking about that ass play. No, it is weird that that's like still like a top priority on like a, you'd think a doctor's
Starting point is 01:18:17 checklist. Coughing for a hernia's like, all right. But have you ever cuffed your nuts and like coughed just to see if you could feel what they feel? Like I'd. Yeah, my balls just shift. They do?
Starting point is 01:18:30 Like your sacks tighten up. Yeah, your sacks tighten up. Like, whoa, what is that? Your hands are cold. Really? Yeah. Now I'm the next guy, well, I'm selling it out. But like the next time I see a guy, I'm going to hold his balls and make him
Starting point is 01:18:40 cough and see if I can feel it. We can do it tonight at the show. Just a rando? To love yours. Hey, he's playing our song. Hey, hey. Your health is a priority. Germaine is playing our song.
Starting point is 01:18:54 Jermaine. It's time. Just me on the live stream, my boss. Did they do that with women at all? Like, next time I finger a chick, should I ask her to cough?
Starting point is 01:19:02 Like, what's the, what's y'all procedure? No, they only tell us to cough when they put our hand. They're like the, how did I say it? Stethoscope. She said, Thethoscope.
Starting point is 01:19:11 Why did I swallow my tongue? She said, Thethoscope. When they put the stethoscope on our bag, they only tell us to cough. They don't put a finger. our pussy and they cough. No. Well, one doctor did and he got jammed up.
Starting point is 01:19:23 The Olympic doctor? Yeah, Larry Nasser. Yeah. Piece of shit. That was sick. That was so I hope. What he didn't kill him yet? Where's he at? I was gonna say, is he not dead yet? Kill that piece of shit. That was fucking sick. They gotta get him like stab. Oh, yeah, he did get stabbed. That's right. Yeah. He missed?
Starting point is 01:19:40 No, he got stabbed a bunch. They were just marketing. I'm not going to stab him again. Yeah. They were trying to keep him alive. So he can just keep stabbing him. If you guys don't know who Larry Nasser is, like, Larry Nasser is the Olympic, like, pediatrician doctor or whatever, that he was like molesting all the Olympic girls athletes. And he was the head for Team USA. For Michigan State gymnastics as well.
Starting point is 01:20:02 Piece of shit. Yeah. Speaking of prisoners and updates, I have to laugh at Moll's news network. They got their marching orders for Luigi. They were saying that the prisoners, when Luigi gets. onto the yard are going to have a real issue that he killed the CEO
Starting point is 01:20:23 of a health insurance company are and that they are going to bully him on that yard because of what he did that's what Fox News was telling us he bought to eat good in there man
Starting point is 01:20:34 I don't get it they were talking like Luigi was a chow molester when he got to chow I'm so confused by the extreme like the right wing agenda
Starting point is 01:20:45 when it comes to this kind of stuff because you would think based under their rhetoric and how they're so anti-establishment, anti-big corporation, they're an establishment. But why do they love, I never understood that. Why are they so pro this guy?
Starting point is 01:20:57 They love guns. Go through the investors of Fox News. I get that. Well, yeah, you will find three or four health insurance companies. One being United Health. Because on paper,
Starting point is 01:21:08 everything Luigi did is everything that they would champion. For sure. He shot someone in New York City with a gun and who represents big money corporation. Health, not just big money, health. The one thing that they're always saying we don't trust is the American health care system. And then you got one.
Starting point is 01:21:25 And then it's like, well, he went too far. He's the guy. He did what you guys preach. It's part of their establishment. Of course. And they were also very much anti-Obomacare. Loved it when they just changed the name when it wasn't Obamacare.
Starting point is 01:21:38 But they hate that. And, you know, universal health care is not a Republican talking point. So this guy, you know, and he was what, bisexual. so he has to be like a Hillary supporter and he was hired by the Clintons, you know, that type of shit. Oh, he's by?
Starting point is 01:21:54 I mean, I guess. I don't know. How did they even find that out? I don't know. I mean, his Facebook was a little zest. I saw a video of him shotgunning beer. He probably did that sexy too. That's pretty bi.
Starting point is 01:22:06 Cute little kid. Chris Rock was on SNL, which by the way, I found out at our live show from Derrigains. He was like, yo, Chris about to do his monologue. I was like, Did they advertise that Chris Rock was doing Saturday Live? I didn't see that.
Starting point is 01:22:20 I didn't see the Post-it note. I didn't see anything. It was pretty quiet. I didn't. I hadn't either. It was odd because this is like a big moment. But he discussed it, had some funny jokes of, you know, feeling for the CEO, but sometimes drug dealers get killed. I can run the fact.
Starting point is 01:22:35 Everybody's worried. I mean, we got Luigi. Feel sorry for the family. I mean, everybody's fixated on how good looking this guy. Tracted man. You look like Jonah Hill. No one would care. random strayed Jonah
Starting point is 01:22:54 doing that to Jonah Hill is crazy dead okay but he actually killed a man a man a man with a family a man with kids man I mean I have condolences I have real condolences
Starting point is 01:23:11 for you know the healthcare CEO I mean this is a real person you know but you also got to you know sometimes Drug dealers get shot.
Starting point is 01:23:26 You're going to set up. True. Fucked up with true. I like Chris's monologue. I mean, probably not his absolute best, but it was a good monologue. It's always nice to hear from Chris Rock.
Starting point is 01:23:36 A-lister. I mean, who would say otherwise? Also, if I ever saw him in Soho, I think I wouldn't say that to his face? In one of our skits. His last public appearance was in our skits. Well, no.
Starting point is 01:23:50 I believe it was last week. Wasn't he doing like a, a private set somewhere and ran off stage. So that's why I was so confused why this wasn't promoted. Like there was a big Chris Rock scandal last week. And now he's doing Saturday Live.
Starting point is 01:24:06 Yeah. No one wants to tweet that. Until I saw the clip, I had no idea. I mean, but to be fair, I'm not a big, I don't really watch SNL like that. But I mean, I think we wouldn't know if one of their biggest alumni were coming back to host. I think that would have been everywhere.
Starting point is 01:24:22 but no, I didn't know he was hosting it. So he was at... Yeah, he was doing a private show and allegedly there were people in the crowd. It was a non-filming show and people were filming him and the rumor was he stormed out and was pissed off, but someone to witness
Starting point is 01:24:36 as he actually just simply put the mic down and walked away. What's wrong with that? They were violating protocol by filming him and he said, I'm done. Oh, I mean, that's it, simple. That's supposed to be filming me. Yeah, I don't understand
Starting point is 01:24:48 what the outrage was with this and it wasn't even really in the media on Chris Rock's side. They try to make him sound like he was like insane and like going through something like stormed off stage. Like no, somebody's filming me, you're not allowed to show. Yeah, that's it. I'm not viewed. Said is done. Since 2017,
Starting point is 01:25:03 he has implemented a no filming policy at his shows. I will say, when I saw Chappelle at Radio City for that Sunday midnight show and you have to put your phone like in the bag thing, like you can't trust me, I tried to open it. You can't. Outside of it being earthquake, Michael Chey,
Starting point is 01:25:23 Chappelle, what's the, this is going to sound racist, the Indian guy that does the daily show a lot. He's great. Oh, Hassan Mina. Yes, him.
Starting point is 01:25:33 The stand-up shows you get when they know everyone's phone is locked away was by far the greatest stand-up I've seen from every last one of them. They do not give a fuck because no one's going to film
Starting point is 01:25:45 them and get in trouble. Best comedy show ever. Anytime I've seen that with shows, you have to put your phone away, I get excited because I know it's going to be a good comedy show. People don't care.
Starting point is 01:25:54 They're going to say whatever they want. I said it's a seller. We went to that. Michael Che is, I think Michael Chee is hilarious. Now, think about Michael Chee without having to worry about NBC. It was insane.
Starting point is 01:26:05 Anything he would have said would have gotten him fired in a heartbeat. Who cares? You're in Radio City and everyone's phone is locked. But we were at, when we was at the comedy store in LA, right?
Starting point is 01:26:15 Did we have to put our phones away? No, but that was like a roast battle that wasn't really like famous people. So, no, but I even saw... Now, that one dude was getting his 9-11 jokes off. I felt like he only did that because our phones were away. Like, we couldn't film.
Starting point is 01:26:30 He was going crazy. If you take your phone out at the comedy store no matter what, a security guard will grab you. But it's not like, you know, you just put them in bags and shit. Like, I saw Bill Burr popped up one time when I was at comedy store. Phones were fine.
Starting point is 01:26:45 Mark Norman. There's a bunch of people that are big comics that they didn't make you do that. But it's also, I think, for the people that go to, you know, actual comedy clubs a lot, have that respect. Like, why I take our phones out. And also, who wants to watch something through your phone when you're there? It's weird. Watch the show.
Starting point is 01:27:02 I didn't want to post it on their IG. Yeah, it didn't happen if you didn't post it. If Damaris does not cry tonight but cried at the Gunna Show, we're going to have an interesting Thursday. I'm probably going to cry with Tamara. I cried this morning when January 28th played out my phone on random. I'm going to cry. I'll probably cry with Demaris because I'm
Starting point is 01:27:22 watching DeMaris cry and I'll be happy that I'm having this moment with DeMaris. What song is going to do it? Whenever she cries because I'm emotional when I see other people
Starting point is 01:27:33 get emotional. I cried out of J. Cole's set one time. You did? Here we go. He's tees in it up. Voice nails. Don't.
Starting point is 01:27:40 He's teeing it up. Yeah, all right. Here we go. See, and I fell for it like a fucking idiot. I said, oh, you did. Was it Kenny Lofton? What's all? Kenny lofted
Starting point is 01:27:50 He gave such a heartfelt speech Paul crying of Kenny Lofton It's hilarious Hey great lead off He gave such a heartfelt speech man You know You know Cole is going to give At least a 15 minute speech
Starting point is 01:28:02 During the show Yeah man I'm a live streamer for you Ma Please do Please if he get I'll go live on IG for you Julian promise me If he gets on that stage tonight
Starting point is 01:28:12 He's not alright And he starts talking about that apology again Please record that shit And send it to me He's gonna talk about Forest Hills. He heard the Tale of Two Cities.
Starting point is 01:28:23 Tale of Two Cities. I think he might announce when the fall off is coming at this show, though. Good, possibly. I can see that for sure. They kind of dropped the ball by not having the tickets
Starting point is 01:28:33 available in Forest Hills. Yeah. That's kind of crazy. People would have went there and got the, yeah. I mean, there's a Forest Hills in New York. That's what so. And I feel like him and Drake have dropped the ball
Starting point is 01:28:42 by not putting out a Forest Hills song. They're both from Forest Hills. And then they put Action Bronsonon on it. Julian, once again, if he gets up doing that stage tonight, please recording it sent it to me. I'll give you my password to the inevitable. Please. I'm going to purchase this stream. It's for you.
Starting point is 01:29:01 Please, bro. Please. It's all I has. I never ask for anything. But that I need to see that. Please. Please. That's all I ask.
Starting point is 01:29:09 Do we have voicemail? You don't think it'll be on Twitter the moment the speech happens? No, but I need it from Julian. Because I know he's going to get the. I'll do it from the green room. He knows what I. Is him rehearsing? the speech. Yeah, yeah. Julian knows what I want to see. He knows what I want to see.
Starting point is 01:29:23 Pause. Hey, yo. Why? But I think, I think when we look at pauses, we should look at how your brain, like, interpreted that. Julian knows what I want to see? That's, I don't think of a We're talking about. Kim would have paused that. Julian, do we have voicemails? Should I say pause to? Yeah. You've got mail. I'm asking a man for voicemails. This, well, this might be a pauseworthy voicemail. Of course. Here we go. So I'm Bailey from California. Hey, Bailey. I'm supposed to say that.
Starting point is 01:29:52 I love you guys. Thank you for answering my boyfriend. Love you too. I am 26 and my boyfriend is 25 and I'm having issues with him and how he interacts with his friends. Yes, I've seen this before, like, you know, amongst like people that are my age, maybe in high school or whatever. But it's kind of crazy that we are a little older and they're still doing this. He's a little bit homoerotic, like too homerotic with his friends. Like they call each other daddy and they play around and they play for it.
Starting point is 01:30:18 That's play flirt. That's fine, right? But like there goes into like there's like this pepino trick where like they put a cucumber up to like they put it by their, you know, being and they put it up to their friend's mouth. And the friend like actually gagged on that shit. That's crazy to me, you know? And other things that just crossed the line for me. And I feel like. Wait, wait, wait, wait.
Starting point is 01:30:37 That's a lot to. No, no, hold on. A boyfriend does what? It's like Orlando Brown in an interview. I thought this was going to be like just a quick. Bailey, that started off so sweet. Hey, just date black men that are homophobic instead of white men that do the joking gay stuff with their friends. The cucumber took it to a whole different.
Starting point is 01:30:55 Like, I've been around white friends that do the gay joke stuff. Like, that's sort of standard, especially in your 20s. The cucumber gag? I don't know that bit. It's like, that's a whole. He fell asleep and we put a carrot in his ass. So wait, all right. So they take the cucumber, put it where their dick is.
Starting point is 01:31:14 And then. Walk up to another. friend. And he, they gag on it. And he goes, I don't think they actually gag, but they like fake gag. It's like the Orlando Brown with the mic thing. If they don't gag, that's even gayer that they like, are used to.
Starting point is 01:31:27 They just continue with this voice. Sorry. I thought she was overreacting a bit and hey, you're dating someone that's 25. It'll pass. I don't know, man. They might fuck each other. They might fuck each other. It's funny. All right. Go ahead.
Starting point is 01:31:44 All right. Sorry. I was trying to find the it becomes then cheating. I don't know if it's a cultural thing because he is Mexican and I'm African-Americans. I don't know if that plays a big, you know, part in this or what, but he's saying, you know, it's a big deal or I'm making it a big deal and it's not. He's saying that it's just jokes and I don't understand because I'm not a man or, you know, whatever. They just like try to make each other uncomfortable and that's just what's funny about it. But I know as a bisexual woman, I don't find it funny and I'm just like, is he gay-through? I don't know. Or is it just jokes and what's so funny about this?
Starting point is 01:32:17 And even like pretending to like kiss each other and see which which one gets like grossed out the fastest. It's just weird, right? So I don't understand like should I, am I making it a big deal? No, you're not. They're gay. Gay chicken is crazy. They're giving each other prostate exams. Barely no.
Starting point is 01:32:33 And not for health reasons. They're not. You're not taking it too far. Your boyfriend is obviously bisexual just like you are. And it's okay if you want, you know, that's what you want. But those games, that's not. try to kiss me and go get the cucumber and I'll gag on. What is that?
Starting point is 01:32:50 What is that energy? What is that? I've made gay jokes to make other people feel uncomfortable, but this is a whole different level. Like, seeing who could kiss each other longer before they get grossed out is. No one's grossed out. They're just gay. They just kissing.
Starting point is 01:33:05 Yeah, and that's fine. If that's what you are, if that's what you are, it's fine. But like, stop playing to go get the cucumber and gag game. I don't know what that is. That's just crazy. Like, just stop. They just take casual elephant walking. walks together.
Starting point is 01:33:17 You know what she should do? What is the elephant walk? I don't know. You guys don't know? No, I know elephants. Yo, I'm cracking up.
Starting point is 01:33:25 What is the elephant walk? I don't know what an elephant walk is, same. I didn't know what a dart was. God, you guys are. All right. So elephant walk,
Starting point is 01:33:33 it's like popular and like fraternities. Basically you're here. He's a frat boy right here. You're blindfolded and naked. It's usually called B&B. Boxes and blindfold. But you're in this case,
Starting point is 01:33:46 you're mostly naked and you follow the guy in front of you. You're like crawling in a circle and you're holding the guy in front of you by their like dick and balls and you walk around. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Well, you know, you're not always crawling. You could be standing. Hold on. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:34:02 Somebody have self-respect. Nobody say a word. What fraternity is doing? This is just like a common hazing tactic amongst like white fraternities. Is that what they do to get in Lambda, Lambda, Lambda? I never did an elephant walk but there were fraternies on my campus that did elephant walks it's a thing
Starting point is 01:34:20 it kind of looks like this but your butt ass naked yo I can assure you guys if Kappa Alpha Society fraternity incorporated asked me to grab another man's dick and walk around you would be looking at a pure civilian right now
Starting point is 01:34:35 you know yo man this is I'm telling you man who came up with that though like that's these are the questions these are the podcast topics. Who came up with the elephant walk? Who was the first person that said, fellas, I got it. Grab each other's dick and walk around. Because they're like with Kappa.
Starting point is 01:34:53 There you go, 1922. The fact that they even know the year is an elephant walk started 1922 after the Aggies lost the first two games of their football season, which by the way, like maybe just focus on defense. Yeah, like yeah, I promised the elephant walk was not going to help you on with. How's the old line? But I think that elephant walk, that's different.
Starting point is 01:35:13 Oh, this is like an actual elephant. actual elephant. That's not the hazing one where you got to do it with your dick's tied in a fucking knot. Yo, that is crazy. Caba is a non-hasing organization. It has never hazed. But if they did haze, all the stuff has like real historical references to it. I'm just not quite sure what grabbing another man's dick could really do with the history of your frat. It's called buckbreaking, right? That's what they call it? I learned that because of Andrew Phillips. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:35:42 So you didn't know about that before? No. Oh wow. See, history. The fact that they try to turn with what you said into that. Hey, we ain't talking about that. All right. So I have advice for this young lady. Outside of your man
Starting point is 01:35:56 definitely being gay. I think you should lean all the way into it and get in on the jokes, but not with your man, but with his friends. Like if you would be part of the crew. If this is all fun and games, then let me do the kissing game with your man's. Let me take a fucking cucumber
Starting point is 01:36:13 and stick it down your throat. Just lean into it. See how funny he finds it when you get involved in the game. Yeah, Bailey. You got to have a real conversation with your boyfriend. Wendy Williams has the perfect
Starting point is 01:36:23 sound bite for this and I always just try to send this to girls when they're like really in denial but like this is the Lucy, stop it. Denial is a river in Egypt. Your husband is gay. He's a...
Starting point is 01:36:38 He's guys. When I was a kid, Wendy Williams had a gay list. Do you remember that? She walked around with a folded paper of gay men in the industry. Was he did he on it though?
Starting point is 01:36:57 I'm sure. He's probably the list, yeah. Yeah, I mean, top of the list. I'm just thinking like, you know, hindsight is 2020. Like, if we go back when he's gay lists, like, was Diddy on it? I'm going to sound too woke or whatever, but why was that a thing? Like, why was it this crazy shit if somebody was gay?
Starting point is 01:37:15 And Wendy is now like... You know. You know. why back in the day it was the big thing let's not act like homophobia was not insane back then i don't even think it was being gay part i think it was people that were down low yeah that was like yo why you're business is that just come out the closet like you're sitting here like fuck what i have to do that for so i can appease wendy williams no no i agree with you but i'm just saying that's more so what it was was guys that were because because wendy and i mean prayers to her because i know her health is not in great shape but she started to go more on the woker side of things like we're not going to
Starting point is 01:37:47 remember when you were homophobic as fuck trying to like out men for being gay? Like what was wrong with that? Yeah. Explain to me why that should be a thing then, Wendy, if you're so progressive. You're not too gay. Okay, so this
Starting point is 01:38:03 poor, uh, there's a poor caller here, her gay Mexican boyfriend. Um, what, what do we do here? Do they, uh, I said, participate in the games, uh, tell them me, hey, listen, it's not funny. Is there a conversation you want to have, uh, something you want to tell me? What if she asked one of her homeboy, one of his friends was like, again, if she has to be open and into this, be like, oh, why don't we like have a threesome?
Starting point is 01:38:24 If you're really about it, let me fuck you with one of your friends. I mean, I said just participate in the games, but if you want to take it to the next level, sure. Since you want to play with his dick so bad, let's fuck each other. And she says she's bisexual, too, right? Okay. But they're all men. I'm reading the list. I'm sorry, Wendy's Williams list.
Starting point is 01:38:42 And she's writing up, everybody downright. She said, it says, of course, Will Smith. everybody else's name. It's just their name. And it says, of course, Will Smith. That shit is fucking hilarious. Which else is on it? Busta Red Man and Methamman, but I think Metham
Starting point is 01:38:58 broke her heart. That's probably how he made it. Buster. She did some real foul shit to his wife. Yeah. Busta. Red Man and Methamon are not gay. Buster. How do you know? Fair. Okay.
Starting point is 01:39:08 Buster, Red Man, Methamon, Q-Tip. Puffy does it for control, I think. Dr. Dre is straight- She's a head of her time. Smoke that. Dr. Dre is straight up living a big line. Tyrese hit Cisco for coming on to him in a studio. I think MC Light...
Starting point is 01:39:21 Hit him or hit him for coming on to him. I think MC Light is still with Pam from Martin. Russell Simmons throws gay parties. I heard things about LL too. Marlon Wayne's, not Sean like you would think. Of course Will Smith. Tyson Beckford. Chris Weber, Steve Francis,
Starting point is 01:39:37 Mowgli Guy from Houston, Damien from Portland. No Mowgli? Just saying Mowley guy from Houston. That's a deep cut. It's hilarious. is. Catino Mobley on that list is fucking. No, she didn't say Catino Moble.
Starting point is 01:39:50 She said Mobley guy from Houston. The back court of the Houston Rockets at that time. What? So Steve Francis and Catino Mobley were a couple. They had great chemistry. Yeah. Amazing backwards. And then she says there's a crew of bisexual actresses that hang out together.
Starting point is 01:40:03 Most of them are married. They include Jada Pinkett, Jasmine Guy, Cree Summer, Tishina Arnold, Tisha Campbell, Debbie Allen, who apparently turned out the whole cast of a different world. I'm not believing that about Debbie Allen. Why? Y'all not going to have... I just said Red Man is not gay, and you said, how you know? But Debbie Allen's turning out the whole cast of a different world.
Starting point is 01:40:22 How you know? Right. I didn't say she wasn't. I just said, I don't want to believe it. I'm not reading that. Read it? No, something about Beyonce. Alicia Keys does, I repeat, does have a boyfriend whether or not it's a cover-up.
Starting point is 01:40:35 I don't know, but the both of them seem really serious about each other. The shot of Beyonce had nothing to do with her sexual preference. No, it wasn't. What would it have to do with? Her breath. Oh, I mean, but that's been a thing. I didn't know that that was a thing and I'm not reading that.
Starting point is 01:40:48 Kelly Rowland is a nice person but I think she's a lesbian. Why does that matter? What does that change your opinion? Well, because this was back in the day like it wasn't cute and like people got made fun of for being lesbians. Like it wasn't like a cute.
Starting point is 01:41:01 If you're a Kelly Rowland type lesbian, you're all right. What type of lesbian is that? A good looking one. Okay. So you're. Yeah, there's a double standard with lesbians. Yeah, we all are.
Starting point is 01:41:13 Pretty lesbians are obviously. more favorite in the culture. Taylor looked like a bad bitch on Saturday night. We all love Taylor. We don't have to single her out. I have one, I have one Dyke friend. I'm not, I'm not, I'm not throwing that out there. I'm just saying. I voted for Obama. He voted against gay marriage.
Starting point is 01:41:31 None of these people. Who on that list do you believe is gay? Well, I don't know half these people. I don't know. This sounds pretty well researched and like honest. And I feel like Maul. Just because Q-Tip has a high voice doesn't mean he's gay. I don't think that's why she's saying. Yeah, I don't think it was the voice as well.
Starting point is 01:41:46 Yeah. he made beneath it apple bomb he did that wasn't about a dude you don't know did he need may I need a girl he didn't write that that was that was Loon's work Loon needed a girl
Starting point is 01:41:59 he didn't write that I'm sure there's a bunch of truth to that Wendy knew her shit but she also did a bunch of fuck shit and lied a lot so saying the Mowbly guy from Houston is still funny though insane
Starting point is 01:42:12 like you couldn't just say Catea Mowley guy I never heard Steve Francis This is Who cares Shout out to Ketino Moble Do we have another voice mail? If you want to stay There's nothing wrong wait
Starting point is 01:42:27 Wait wait wait one more One more one more Alan Ivers in his rule He told us he hated white girls And refused the tip one at the strip club one night I love that I believe that That sounds like a lot
Starting point is 01:42:37 That sounds like a yeah They ain't put no gation on his jacket He was ahead of his top The answer right there All right, The next one I'm about to play is from a new batch that came in over the last couple of days. I haven't heard it. So let's just see what happens.
Starting point is 01:42:52 Yo, Julian, you don't have to put this on the show. We won't. Next one, because that's usually not a good start. Right, here we go. Yo, this is a B-Raca out of Cleveland and I'm going to get my money for it. Okay. All right. I need two questions.
Starting point is 01:43:08 Totally unrelated. Number one, you're all in New Yorkers. So y'all haven't seen some things. Y'all and heard some things. Not me? Jesus. What's the most unattractive accent y'all ever heard on a female, foreign or domestic. It don't matter.
Starting point is 01:43:24 And question number two, top three biggie features, not singles, not album cuts, features, where he is the guest. Which is top three. Rory Moore, I'm really, I really want to hear your opinions on it. I'm out. Oh, P.S. The reason our team is, is called the Guardians is because of the Hope Memorial Bridge. Statues on that joint are called Guardians. Look it up. All right. Peace. Some Cleveland history right there. Top three biggie features? What do you want to do the first part or biggie first? What was the first part? Lease attractive female accent. What part of the country, world, what's like
Starting point is 01:44:09 the worst? Oh, shit. I like all accents. I just love anything that doesn't sound like my own hometown i i appreciate uh i hate to say baltimore is definitely up there but there's there's something charming about it that's what i just don't know how long i just think it's dope to hear it'd be cute for a while but i don't know accent like speak it's like okay um at st peters they had like remember i told you guys they had like weird eastern european exchange students that live there year round mm-hmm those girls sometimes it was a little weird like i don't know how long a proper eastern european is like also like scary and intimidated And like I, when I was in high school, I watched like the Sopranos and all the strippers had that accent.
Starting point is 01:44:49 That's not accurate to real life. Those Eastern European women sounded like men. What of my, my freshman year roommate, I'm not going to say his name because I'm about to reveal something. He was fucking one of them. And we used to, you know, we would have a system if somebody was getting some pussy. Like, you just chill in the hallway. Take a walk. Man, Danny was next door.
Starting point is 01:45:13 Yeah, he's in there doing that. But this is also Jersey City in 2008, the infrastructure of the buildings, the walls were pretty fucking thin. Yeah. Yeah, when she used to fucking moan, and I wish, I would do the impression, but I would have to say his name, Paul. No, do it. No, master. Like, she would yell that throughout the hallways. And we, yo, when I tell you, like, even bunk.
Starting point is 01:45:36 Yeah, what the hell is that? No, are you? Oh, are you? We would be dying laughing outside that front. fucking, you know, what is he doing to her?
Starting point is 01:45:48 He's fucking either. Bunker, that's who he was fucking. Yeah, Eastern European, I forgot which
Starting point is 01:45:52 like part they were from. Oh, aren't she? They were, and like, her voice would go in and out too.
Starting point is 01:45:59 I don't know if that was part of the accent, but the volume on her voice, even when she just spoke would go in and out. Like, like, a headphone cord
Starting point is 01:46:06 generally like connect all the time. That's how she would talk. That's something that is. So that's probably, and what was the second part of his? Yeah, top three biggie features.
Starting point is 01:46:17 Top three biggie features. Well, it's Bone and Biggie. Was it notorious thugs on Life After Death though? Was it? Yeah, I don't think that's... Oh, so not his... Yeah. Okay, so, okay, I should...
Starting point is 01:46:31 Flavor in your ears. Mine. Yeah, flavor in your ear, obviously. Real love. The remix. The John with 112? Only you. Yeah. I'm gonna go with Crush on you.
Starting point is 01:46:46 Wait, was he only you? Was it only you? He had one with them, but I don't know if it was only you. Yep, you're right. It was, yeah. Total, can't you see? That's definitely one of Biggs' best features for me. Okay, all right, we're naming a lot here.
Starting point is 01:47:03 Brooklyn's fine is number one for sure for me. Rest and peace, Clark. Are we going to count the ones post-death? I traditionally do not count those. Yeah, because I don't know if Big would have. Yeah. Okay. Roklyn's fine.
Starting point is 01:47:17 Might have tweaked a verse like a bar. What's that one though that he does have post that I love? It's on that Nelly album. He goes, I go on and on and on his. That was a remix of a big song that was around. Yeah, but I liked the...
Starting point is 01:47:28 Biggie duets was all songs we'd heard. They just remixed them. Yeah. They just added features to it. Like, nasty girl was a song. Nasty girl. That was from life after death. They just remixed it and threw Nelly on it.
Starting point is 01:47:42 Like, I like 1970-something something with game, but it's on ready to die already. It's the outro It's a good song too Total only you I don't know what my number three would be You said real love remix I don't know if that's over
Starting point is 01:47:58 Some of the Junior Mafia shit Like grab your tities if you love hip hop That's technically a feature no Junior Mafia He wasn't in Junior Mafia It's featuring Big Yeah That makes sense
Starting point is 01:48:10 Victory Big does have more features than I remember I felt like he never did features. All right, well. That was a cool one for you. I love the dough too with Jay. That's on Life After Death though.
Starting point is 01:48:26 Oh, not his song. Yeah. Damaris, back to the first question. Is there a male accent or region of the world that you can't stand? Yeah, no, I'm not a fan of the innets. Oh, yeah, that's true. You do hate them. I do not hate them.
Starting point is 01:48:40 I just don't like the accent. British? Yeah, I hate British accents. I'm like the only girl in the world who. does because everybody I know loves they're like oh my god British boys Brit boy I'm like I hate that accent I can't even listen to him talk I love it on women you didn't like when gigs was here I feel like that's your type gigs is why do you think that get you think every dark skin man that walking here is my type giggs is not my type first of all all dark skin men that have possibly
Starting point is 01:49:02 committed crime in the past there you go I forgot to add the second part of my gigs is a sweetie pie but no that accent I could not listen you I can't oh my god no really really I don't mind UK accent at all listen to it's not like annoying when he talks imagine, no, imagine I'm fucking you. I wouldn't do that. I have not thought about that. I'm not going to imagine that. Doesn't cross my mind.
Starting point is 01:49:21 Well, then go get the cucumber and do that. Do that trick. Where's homey? The Mexican friends. Yeah, where they are? Bring the Mexicans. Bring gigs. And let's have a party.
Starting point is 01:49:28 Bring the Mexicans. Bring gigs. But yeah, no, that's just, that's my least favorite accent. But the best accent, especially on men and women is Louisiana. That New Orleans. No Orleans. I know, I like it.
Starting point is 01:49:41 Don't get me wrong. Especially on women. Oh my God. Toya Loua. Babe Mama, you've heard her talk? Of course. Texas is good too All of the South is all right with me
Starting point is 01:49:52 To be quite honest I love a southern accent Florida gets a little weird But I don't think Florida's the South I think it's a different country Did you ever see them It's a video out And I forgot the lady that did it
Starting point is 01:50:01 And she actually ties in Like a lot of the accents And how they originated That was a very dope video If y'all haven't seen that like check that out Have you ever dealt with like a German chick? I'd never have So I assume that would be like aggressive
Starting point is 01:50:14 Damn feel like sex would feel anti-Semitic without even bringing up the Jews. Just because of their accent? Yeah. I like Russian accent. Just like all her reactions to Dick would sound like Hitler to me. Russian accents are like nice on women.
Starting point is 01:50:28 I like women with Russian actions. And Transylvanian accents. Like the ones who sound like vampires. I like that accent. So many underground strip gloves and poker spots. Wait, is Transylvania real? It is, right? It's a real place.
Starting point is 01:50:40 Yeah. I like that accent from that corner of the world where it's like they sound like vampires. What was your favorite movie growing up? Bad Boys 2, Titanic, Bram Stoker's director. Bad Boys 2? You keep... That's like when he only said Bustor Rounds
Starting point is 01:50:56 his favorite rapper. How is... Bad Boys 2 is an amazing movie, especially when you're a kid. Yeah, but for a woman to say that's one of her favorite movies, that's just like... Yeah, I know that movie, like, I could perform it, like, as a monologues. There's a love story in there, too. It's an amazing movie.
Starting point is 01:51:10 No, I love Bad Boys, too. I'm not saying that, but I've never... I've never heard a woman say, nah. That's one of my favorite. movie. That's my favorite movie. You like to tell you saw Wendy Williams Gaylist and you're like I can't I can't fuck with this. No, I like that. Of course Will Smith. I'm a huge Will Smith
Starting point is 01:51:23 fan though. But even before, like that's probably one of the reasons why I am a huge Wolfman. How come you never play none of his new music? I mean, it's not really for me. Oh, he put out a new record. I don't think I'm his target audience. Every time he put that new song, you don't think his biggest fans and his target audience? Every time he puts out a new record. You just said you're his biggest fan. I said one of his biggest fans of like his acting. Yeah, so you're his target audience. Oh no, you didn't Say of his acting. You said, will you like Will Smith? I do like Will Smith. I even like the song he did with Bad Bunny and
Starting point is 01:51:50 Mark Anthony. Like that's one of my, that was like one of my favorite songs that year, and I feel like it didn't get a lot of play, but I don't really like this. Maul, you're bugging if you're not feeling this new track. You know, keep calling me ransom. Why does my fear control me at random? Life can get ugly but I'm handsome. I'm about to face on this shit I've been running from. You might relate to the places I'm coming from. I've been through trauma. I thought I'd recover from. I got regrets. You heard about some of them. This is going to make my hot bang like a little.
Starting point is 01:52:13 It be hard. It be hard. I will not. I like Russ's verse on their song. Ooh. That's Roy's bag. That's a shot at you, Ma. I hate to be the thing that people suffer from.
Starting point is 01:52:26 I'm flattered when that happens. You didn't even pee, Ma'all. I didn't. I stopped seeing that. He's got it. He's got it. The crazy shit is, though, is that Will Smith is not a bad rapper. He's still nice.
Starting point is 01:52:38 He could do $50,000 in Africa. You think he's right in that? Hell no. They don't think that. I can hear a Simba flow from a mile away. They don't think so. Did Simba tell you that he wrote that? I have not spoken to Simba.
Starting point is 01:52:51 Okay. So until then, Will wrote it. The same way they bite Charles' drums, they bite Simba's flow. Who's on that song with him? I think that's- Joyner Lucas. Oh, Joyner-R-Lu-R-Lu-It, yeah. This sound, I was going to, the flow, is it Joyner-Lucus flow?
Starting point is 01:53:06 Yeah, Joyner wrote that. I think Will wrote it. Let me promise you what Will didn't do. You think Will can't write? I think Will didn't write that record. Why? Because Will's not writing raps anymore. Why do you think that?
Starting point is 01:53:18 Because Will has never rapped like that. Just because you change the way that you rap doesn't mean that you're no longer writing how you rap. That's exactly what you're 60 years old. When you're 60 years old, that is exactly what that means. Bro, he can change his flow. It's not hard to change. At 60? No, you don't change your flow at 60, DeMaris.
Starting point is 01:53:34 Why not? He's not going to go on that beat and try to rap like he did and fucking. He's not going to go on that beat. He's going to show up to the studio having that record sent to him two weeks prior and lay his vocals. All right, outside of the summertime era, has Will Smith ever wrote his raps? I don't think so. Yes, he did. Who ever told you that Will Smith didn't write his rap?
Starting point is 01:53:53 What he wrote? Well, Aemian was written by Nas. That's on record. You said what was? Willenium, that album, that's great. The entire record was written by now? Most of it is from Nage, yeah. That's from 99.
Starting point is 01:54:03 Okay, let's go to the writing credits. There's nothing wrong with that. Let's just confirm. When was the last time that Will was really writing his rap? Was it forever? The last time Will was really writing. It was really fucking rapping. I'm not discrediting him.
Starting point is 01:54:14 Just asking. Do you think he wrote getting jiggie with it? I think he wrote his bars. I don't think he wrote the chorus. He wrote the nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, no, no. No, I think. Not the sample.
Starting point is 01:54:24 That's it. The ill nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. Nah, nah. It's a great hook. Don't do that. Like, thinking that Woolsmith just became a big rapper because he just got. Nah, Nas wrote all of getting jigggy with it.
Starting point is 01:54:34 This is confirmed. That's why I just asked to that. That's exactly why I just destroyed Damaris's whole. Tone and Poak produced it with Naz. He wrote the entire thing. So it says Nas wrote it and Will Smith is nowhere name. Is it named on the writing credits? Is that what you're telling me?
Starting point is 01:54:50 I mean, I'm sure his name is there. He's Will Smith. Oh, my God. Will Smith doesn't write. It's okay. Nobody's expecting him to write rhymes. Just keep giving us great films. So how did Will Smith because he came in this game as a writer, literally.
Starting point is 01:55:04 So how did Will Smith? He just bit Julian. How did Will Smith become a rapper? My actual pet. He just was cute and they were like, damn, you should be like a rapper. Well, at the time, he was honest. the show. I was saying, I don't know
Starting point is 01:55:16 the last time he wrote his rhymes outside of the summertime era. He may have written it then. Jazzy Jeff could have wrote it. True. Also, that was way less taboo back then than it became. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:55:29 Like, rappers delight, none of them wrote those lyrics. EZE didn't write anything. They were like, you're the guy that could sell this better than anyone. We'll write it for you. That was pretty fucking regular back in the day. Ghost writing wasn't like this whole,
Starting point is 01:55:43 holy shit, you don't write your rhymes thing. That happened later. So yeah, I don't think it's weird to think that maybe Jazzy Jeff wrote all of summertime. Will Smith was addicted to being, he wanted to be a rapper really, really bad. He was a good one. I don't think he yet. So that, okay, but nobody's saying that. Everybody's like, oh, everybody always wrote Will Smith's rhymes. Like, he's just fucking really vanilla. I was giving him the summertime era. I said after that, because I know for a fact, we had tone and poke on this podcast. That whole millennium era, the fucking men in black shit, all that was niz.
Starting point is 01:56:14 Well, men and black sounds like it was written by somebody else, but we ain't going to discredit Will Smith like he can't write. Why does that sound like it was written by somebody else? I didn't say getting jiggery with it didn't sound like it was written by somebody else. I'm just saying that I don't think somebody wrote the entire thing for him. That was all I was saying. It's okay. Will doesn't write his shit.
Starting point is 01:56:32 It's all right. Nobody's expecting that. I just feel like it's disrespectful to say that he doesn't write his shit. He's never written his shit. So now that he's not saying never. rapping. He's not writing anything. Okay, bring it back to the original. that verse that we just listened to
Starting point is 01:56:43 Will Smith didn't attempt to write that he got that record sent to him and said what time is the session I'll beat it he laid his vocals he didn't write that and it's okay I'm not expecting Will Smith to write bars I'm mad he's still rapping let's keep up let's start there
Starting point is 01:56:58 I would never rap again if I was Will Smith are you kidding me well he obviously because he likes it if you're at this point in your career why not like just do what makes you happy and you're passionate he's always been passionate about rapping like from the very beginning.
Starting point is 01:57:12 Man. So why would you not continue to do something you love when you have nothing to lose? Yeah, but it's just, we... Just go enjoy life, man. It's not like Denzel just started rapping. They don't need these bars. It's Will Smith.
Starting point is 01:57:24 People want to hear him. You don't, but that's fine. Nobody wants to hear Will Smith rapping. I bet that video got a billion... Who is the biggest fan that you don't want to him rapping? 198,000 people liked it. There's the proof. Yeah, they want to hear it.
Starting point is 01:57:37 It means they at least acknowledge it. I don't know if I'd go to streaming to live. listening to a Will Smith song. But on Instagram, if I saw a reel with a Will Smith verse, I'm gonna stay for the minute 30. Yeah, because you want to laugh. No. I send him in the group every time. I can't keep you. All right, man. Fuck it. I'm the bad guy. Fuck it. I'm the bad guy. Fuck it. Everybody go to go stream that Will Smith joining Lucas joint, man. That verse he put on that Russ record was one of the funniest verses of 2024. Nobody wants to hear Will Smith rapping. His biggest fan sitting right here. She don't want to hear it. This biggest fan.
Starting point is 01:58:07 She says she's his biggest fan. I did not say I'm his biggest. All he do is lie. All he do is lie. What did you just say? I said I'm a big fan. I'm a huge fan of Wolf. I didn't say I'm his biggest fan. I did not say that. You say you're one of his biggest fans. Possibly. That's exactly what you just said. What the fuck are we talking about? Can't prove that. No. All right, man, never mind. Did you guys see that clip of Denzel yesterday? I didn't know Denzel was in Mount Vernon like robbing people. They asked Denzel, what? I forgot what a director was. Stanley Cooper. What's your favorite Stanley Cooper movie? And he was like,
Starting point is 01:58:39 Cooper or Stanley Kubrick? Oh, Stanley Kubrick, yeah. Pardon me. I wasn't born in the 70s. They asked him what his favorite movie was. He said he wasn't really a movie buff like that. He didn't really go to the movies. And he, at that time, in the 70s, was standing outside the movie theater robbing anyone that came out.
Starting point is 01:58:59 Gangston. I didn't know. I wasn't familiar with Denzel like that. Yeah. Back in those days, that shit was common, man. That you'd be robbed by Denzel Washington? I mean, shit. You seen the homie of Mike Tyson when the Jay Paul shit.
Starting point is 01:59:11 He went back. Mike Tyson went back to the hood. And the dude told him, yeah, you robbed me coming out of Woolworth one time. We was kids. It happens, man. He's got to have a pass. People, like when you God said Mike Tyson robbed his mom, I wasn't like, damn, that shocks me. Because Mike Tyson's a fighter?
Starting point is 01:59:28 A troubled youth in Brownsville. Didn't shock me. Okay. And how he even got into boxing was being arrested and being, like, that whole story. No, I didn't know that Denzel was. strapped up in Mount Vernon and robbing everyone when he was 22 years old. I just didn't know that. I thought he was like
Starting point is 01:59:44 the face of the Boys and Girls Club. He was 22? Oh, I saw that. At 22, he was robbing people? Yes. He was acting at 22, wasn't it? He said he started acting at 20, and that was around the same time. Oh, shit. I'm leaving here with something. Here's the clip. I've been interviewed, and I decided to go with
Starting point is 02:00:00 my Kubrick shirt so I could ask everyone if they have a favorite Kubrick movie. I'm not a movie buff. No, I'm not a big movie fan I was in the street when he was making movies He was what was what was the ones in the 70s? Yeah, yeah, I'd be the one outside Looking to rob you
Starting point is 02:00:17 When you came out of a Cooper movie Okay So I wasn't a real film buff I didn't start acting until I was 20 years old And didn't start really going to the movies Until I was 20, 22, 23 It's That's surprise me
Starting point is 02:00:39 me, I wasn't. That is a surprise. I wasn't aware of his game. Yeah, I know. I knew Denzel was definitely from the hood and I didn't know he was... I mean, Mount Vernon is Mount Vernon. Yeah, I didn't know he was getting in there like that. Yeah. Well, that's the money earning. But I got to go earn money. Didn't they kind of like promote Denzel as like the son of a preacher and like they were like the staple of the community and positive, a positive family? Yeah. I don't know. He had a mask on. Like, so he's not acting in training day? No. Methodist. Man, if you will. He's drawn from real life experiences in that park.
Starting point is 02:01:11 Yeah. I like him and shit like that, though. Let us know that you had a real past. What's your favorite Stanley Kubrick movie? Do you guys have one? No. Eyes wide shut would be mine if any of you guys are, not you guys, but listeners.
Starting point is 02:01:25 I like eyes wide shut. I haven't seen eyes wide shut in a while. Yeah, the shining is a tough out for me. No, full metal jacket was good. Do you think they sacrificed their baby at the end of eyes wide shut? No. No. Is that like a good?
Starting point is 02:01:39 Rabbit hole you went down on YouTube? No, I was watching, I think it may have been like a Rogan interview. I forgot who he was interviewing that the original, because he ended up dying before the movie was put out. And the original script with that scene, when they're going away from the baby, it's showing that they did sacrifice their baby. That is the true ending of that movie.
Starting point is 02:02:01 I need to revisit Eyes Wide Shut. It's been a very long time. Just read the puff paperwork. Same thing, just with Max. Lolita is a classic. Just want to give that. It's a proper shoutout. Shining is great.
Starting point is 02:02:14 Great book. 2001 on the low is pretty good. I've never seen that one. Clockwork Orange. Maybe I had to be there. I don't love it the way like my dad like reveres it. It's cool. Don't get me wrong.
Starting point is 02:02:30 But it's like one of those classics that I just never really got fully into. It's cool. That's how Kia felt about when we watch ATO. Clockwork Orange ATL is the same. It's the same thing. A. Tale's a classic. It is a classic. It's my clockwork orange. Okay.
Starting point is 02:02:48 All right. Well, you guys have fun at the Dreamville tonight. Hope you have plenty of dreams and your dreams come true. And Rorya, I guess you're going to watch it on the stream. Yeah. I love that album. Yeah, no, it's a great album, classic album. Does he do the same set with the house on the side or one a whole new? Thousand percent. Going to be the same. Man, it's a 10-year anniversary.
Starting point is 02:03:09 I do something different than just redo the tour. No. Don't change a single thing. He'll have dreads now. That's the difference. That is the difference. Yo, Maul. Mall.
Starting point is 02:03:22 What? I said that is the difference. He didn't have dreds last time when he was sitting on the roof. He was just starting it. He was just growing his throw right there. Look. Yeah. So I think I'm going to, I don't know.
Starting point is 02:03:34 I think I'm going to wrangle. No, I'm definitely going to cry. I don't think I'm going to cry. You're going to try to meet some new. Dick at a Jay Cole show? Well, why did you... I think that'd be a good place to... Why'd you frame it like that?
Starting point is 02:03:43 We tried to set her up with one of the fiends before. That's true. A couple times, actually. Yeah, I don't love Demaris. Yes, I do. I try to set me up with a fiend. They hate. They don't like me?
Starting point is 02:03:51 These are good people. The fiends? What? What we talk about, man? It's true. I got an interesting text from somebody based on a conversation that DeMaris and I were having on this pod.
Starting point is 02:04:04 Or Patreon, I forgot what it was. About your love life. He hit me like, confirmed she does like me. I'm still blocking because I care about Demaris. I think he's a great guy. How did he just assume that was about him? How did he assume that that was about him?
Starting point is 02:04:20 It was pretty obvious. And I wasn't talking like I didn't think he would hear it, but... Whatever. Yeah, I still stand by. I'm not going to do that to my friends. I think he's an amazing guy. And if he ends up being single, I'll be the third wheel. Wait, so if he ends up being single, so he's not single now.
Starting point is 02:04:39 He's in a relationship. And Damaris, you was trying to hook DeMaris up with him? No, it was the opposite. Damaris wanted you hook him up with her. Hook her up with him? He has a crush on Damaris. I try to line up his neck. And then I later found out that, you know, she didn't have a crush on him, but I found
Starting point is 02:04:54 him attractive to do. Yeah. Definitely her type and a great guy, but I'm not about to, like, I don't want to get involved. No, you got a girl. Yeah, that's why I'm not. I'm not. Because I care about Damaris. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 02:05:05 If I didn't, I'd be like, yo, you should beat. You should fuck that home up. Be a home record. jailed, go ahead and beat. No. And I appreciate Rory looking out for me.
Starting point is 02:05:15 That's dope. That's dope. If it doesn't want to... All right, man. Have fun at Forest Hills, Madison Square Garden tonight. I think you'll find a man. I think that's a good place
Starting point is 02:05:22 to find a decent man. I feel like it'll be full of my types. She'll be back in something. You know what you can expect from me, Maul? A new photo on Invisillens. I'm going to bring my camera. Something's going to get shot tonight.
Starting point is 02:05:34 Respectfully. With a camera. That caption is going to... Wow. Can't believe it's been 10. years. Oh my God. I feel like I was just there on January 28th. You know what day was it? All right. Listen, I'm not bringing it up after this. I just need to know the date one more
Starting point is 02:05:51 time. What was the date at Dreamville when he made the speech? April 5th. April 5th? All right, cool. Just got to remember that date. I just want to remember that date. That's all. All right. Well, have fun tonight. Why? I just need to remember that day. I forgot what date that happened. Why do you need to know that? That was a, yeah, that was a big day in hip-hop. That was a big deal in hip hop. All right. Well, have fun tonight. Man, I'm sure it's going to be a great show.
Starting point is 02:06:14 Yeah. And we'll hear about it. Seven. Oh, the seventh. Not the, not the fourth. April 7th? Yeah. Okay, April 7th.
Starting point is 02:06:21 All right. Well, I'm sure you'll be streaming. Yeah. I like watching concerts on stream. All right. Well, have fun tonight. Be safe. Be blessed.
Starting point is 02:06:29 We'll talk to y'all. We'll see y'all little sister later tonight. I'm that Nick. He's just, he's just there. Peace, man. A win is a win. A win.

Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. On The Look Back at it podcast. From 1979, that was a big moment for me. 84 was big to me. I'm Sam Jay.
Starting point is 02:07:23 And I'm Alex English. Each episode, we pick a year, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it with our friends, fellow comedians, and favorite authors. Like Mark Lamont Hill on the 80s. 84 was a wild year. It was a wild year. I don't think there's a more important year for black people. Listen to look back at it on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 02:07:48 On paper, the three hosts of the Nick Dick and Poll show are geniuses. We can explain how AI works, data centers, but there are certain things that we don't necessarily understand. Better version of Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes. Yes. Which, by the way, wasn't Taylor Swift, who said that for the first time. I actually thought it was. I got that wrong. But, hey, no one's perfect.
Starting point is 02:08:09 We're pretty close, though. Listen to the Nick, Dick, and Paul show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. This is an IHeart podcast. Guaranteed human.
