Episode Date: July 18, 2025We've been on our bullsh*t since we've last got on the mic, but we weren't getting caught cheating at a Coldplay concert. The volume.
So what you're saying is more that most men's type is trash.
That's our rolling start.
Say that again?
We're saying off mic.
Most men's type is pretty trash.
I think a lot of people have bad taste.
I agree. And taste is taste. Don't get me wrong. It's like food.
But recently, when I went out to dinner with somebody that I feel should have had, like, the stereotypical, like, pretty women.
He had the stereotypical BBO, bottom of the barrel, million likes on Instagram, just trash, just utter fucking trash sitting across from me.
And mind you, they weren't interested in me. So it's not like I care.
Right. And nor did those women care.
But I don't know.
Is it gay that like I put a certain type of taste on a man?
No, I don't think.
It's kind of gay.
But like when I went out with my homie,
just for what he does and the type of product he creates,
I assume it a different caliber of woman that would be at that table.
And it was just a bunch of chicks.
If you have a thousand dollars in your pocket, you could pry back.
Yeah, but that's not just because somebody is talented.
What I've learned?
talent and fame and money and things like that, taste is taste.
Down to earth.
Yeah.
Good personality.
And I'm describing the man.
That's why I said this kind of gay.
Taste is taste, though.
That's one thing people don't understand.
Just because you're talented and you run the toll of this fame and money, that doesn't mean
your taste level.
You know what I think it is with a lot of the super, like, really talented nerds in, we'll just
say the music world for what we're talking about.
I think they've been locked in the studio their entire lives that they're.
They never even got to develop a taste.
So they just go after what they think they should go after.
I don't think Zion Williams like that, girl.
Yes, he do.
I don't think that's his type.
I think that's his type he was told to like.
No, that's his type.
No, I think that's his type.
I'm sorry to hear that, Zion.
Yeah, taste is taste, bro.
Just because you got money don't mean your taste.
I know.
But you don't think there's like some of the nerdier people.
I'm not saying just because they got money and access it happened.
I just think they never got time to develop a taste because they were working on their
craft for so long that just like women wasn't there?
Nah, I know a lot of dudes that worked on their craft and got impeccable taste.
I mean, fair.
Yeah, so we're not going to do.
We're not going to attribute that.
He was working on his craft all these years and his taste level is, you know what I'm
saying?
Like, no, he just don't have taste.
His taste level is that's what he likes.
Like, when a lot of people are like, yo, damn, short he could cook.
And then his girl cooked for you, EFO.
You're like, yo, what?
That was terrible.
Like, that play was mid as fuck.
But I think, and this isn't like a slight on any, like,
Only fans, girls, or anything like that.
But you see some of these streamers that have, like, admitted that they were, like, nerds.
And I don't mean nerds in a cool way.
Like, they was just nerds their whole fucking life.
And then when they got money and attention, they went after those girls because that's
the girls that the rappers liked.
And it's like, oh, you don't even know your own tastes.
Your taste is another man's taste.
Oh, well, now more than never, there's more followers than it's ever been, I think.
I think, I mean, you years ago coined the greatest term of all time that men are groupies for
groupies.
Oh, yeah.
But I think that comes with with a taste level of men at this point as well, if they're
not exposed to, like, talking to women since high school.
Yeah, but I mean, again, that, that speaks to your upbringing, how you were raised,
who was around you, who was, you know, the people that you kind of had in your life early
that just kind of, you know, help mold you to become the adult that you are.
Like, your taste level was built, you know, from a young age.
Like, you're exposed to certain things.
things and when you become an adult, you still have those type of things in the back of your mind.
Like, yeah, no, this is the things that I like. This is what I like to do. It has to be at a certain
level. It's because, you know, a lot of people now, they have money. They have, you know,
people get rich from their basement now. Like, you know what I'm saying? They don't even come
outside. So what taste level does that person have if they never even been outside?
I just want better for my friends sometimes. Sometimes I don't think we need to be sitting at this
restaurant where the food isn't even good. It just has a neon sign. And you're sitting across from
some just a just a vanilla rat.
Penelope.
It's like, like, come on, like, her ass don't even match her kneecap.
Like, what are we doing right now?
Yeah, but I mean.
This is gross.
Her ankles cannot even support what she added to her backside.
Yeah, but, you know, that's what they like.
That's what they like.
I know it.
I know that can't feel good hitting from the back.
There's no way it feels good.
I've learned to just, you know, understand that some guys, yo, that's what you like.
Cool.
Couldn't be me me.
That's all.
But, you know, it's taste levels.
I understand it, so I'm not knocking nobody.
But it is disappointing sometimes because you expect certain people to have a certain taste level.
Different strokes for different folks.
Yeah.
It's just crazy the high taste level you have and everything else in your entire life.
The attention to detail you have.
Every last thing that you're doing your life.
Except taste.
And then you're with this whore.
Yeah.
It happens, man.
Now more than ever.
Sorry, did I go too far.
But we're back sponsored by boost.
By boost.
Thank you.
Boots mode.
Unlimited talk.
Text.
And Daddy, you got a text.
Don't boost your ass.
If it does not match.
If you got bad taste, don't worry about it.
Boost Mobile will give you unlimited talk.
Text some data.
You can text all the most.
You can talk about all your bad taste.
Your taste levels is trash,
but at least your data can be unlimited with Boost Mobile.
Your taste may be limited, but your data doesn't have to be.
And that was an ad they said to read verbatim.
Exactly.
That was their words.
Not ours.
Oh, man.
It's all good.
It's all good, man.
Damaris, what's up?
What's popping?
Oh, you look a little distracted.
Whenever baby D jump out like, what happened, man.
What's up?
What's going on, baby.
How are you feeling?
You good?
I feel amazing.
Yeah.
All right.
I'm saying, I'm just checking in on you.
Bamboo air rings at least two pairs.
Yeah.
You feel me?
I see you, baby D.
Giving them 95 vibes.
I see.
Air Max is on what you got on your feet.
Let me see.
New balance.
New balance.
Okay.
New balance.
Okay.
Yeah.
I'm chilling.
Powder blue.
Yeah.
Regular, regular shit.
Where are you going after work?
Where you going, though?
Home.
No, you ain't.
I promise.
It was just in dumb.
House.
Stand up and stand up and show your outfit and let them think you're going home with that
outfit.
I am going home.
Stand up and let them see your outfit.
Ow.
I have, I'm going to go.
Ow.
Huh?
Zimpic wear.
Ain't no.
Yo,
I'm so tired of you.
I'm tired.
I have no social battery.
I've been socializing too fucking much.
I'm tired.
You've been running them streets, baby, Dee.
Yeah.
You're getting older.
Why you let them 30s, I'm telling you.
It just one day you wake up, you be like, yo, I don't even go out.
Yeah.
I'm tired.
And having people at you, I was like hosting people, it's just like a whole other thing.
Nix's asking, yo, where's this?
Where is that?
Everything irritates you when you have people over the crib.
It's like, yo, why he put that cup right there?
Yeah.
I'll turn it to that guy.
Why would you do that?
Lifting people shit up, putting coasters under the defense.
Again, taste level.
Why would you put that cup right there?
Why?
Just tell me what part of your brain said put this cup right here.
Yeah, man.
Yeah, man, that's what you got.
Everybody can't come to the crib, man.
That's it.
I'm going to a pool party this weekend.
That's my last little hoorah.
Okay.
Yeah, we're at.
And I'm locking in New York for the summer.
Yeah, here.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
What day?
Saturday.
The trap and R&B pool party.
I'll be there.
Trapping R&B pool party.
I cannot keep up with everything.
There's so many traps and burgers and bottles, B&Bs.
Shout out to the B&Bs.
R&Bs.
R&Bs.
Yeah.
Like, it's just bees and bees.
Like.
We all side.
We all side the summer.
But this is my last, my last who ride.
And I'm locking myself in the house.
Is it really in the trap?
No, see, hold on.
No, because I'm not going to do it.
It's only July 17th.
Yeah.
Yeah.
all of August, and by the way this summer is going, you have until October.
Yeah, like, you're not just in the house after this weekend.
I didn't say I was going to be in the house.
I'm, yeah.
Should me be moving around.
Yo, baby, you didn't be pissing me all, girl, because she talked all this shit and
then next week and she's going to be like, yeah, you know, because, yeah, we and my girl.
I got phone on the way she'd be moving.
Yeah, we're going out, you know what I'm saying?
We hit our little runs around the city.
Like, you're not staying in the house after this weekend.
Cut the shit.
I mean, I'll be outside, but I'm going to see her.
Don't say that to her.
The city is going to see her.
Yeah.
You ain't noticed that she just agreed with me and stopped herself?
I'm going to Mississippi next week.
Miss Mississippi.
Who says that?
Spell that.
M-I-S-I-S-I-P-P-I.
Okay.
Cool, I got it.
Great.
Why?
Family.
Family.
It's always family in Mississippi.
And hey, as the whites, I apologize for that.
Yo, I see.
It's always.
family in Mississippi. Any baby Dee family reunion right? Yeah.
They always there right. What you cook? I never said it was my family. Um, CEO of the
Shriver Krati. You meet in mom and posse. Yo, baby, give it up for baby, D.
Wow. Meeting the family, baby. In Mississippi, oh yeah, you going down there to the reunion.
What are you wearing? But it was the family colors yellow? They got the yellow t-shirts.
They asked for your size. Your baby D, bring me a t-shirt.
Oh, you got a pretty shirt. You got a purchase one there.
Yeah, I'm gonna let y'all pod.
Like whatever.
Yo, me and the fam, that's heavy.
In the summer?
Damn.
Nah, but y'all ain't see the CEO at the cold play concert.
Look how she's, I.
Don't throw it on the CEO.
Don't do that.
Don't throw it on the CEO at the Cold Play concert.
You got caught cheating at the Cold Play concert.
That's crazy.
You're about to get caught cheating in Mississippi.
Which one is worse?
Like, which?
That's exactly where she's supposed to be.
In Mississippi?
Yeah.
Oh, man.
I've never been to Mississippi now to think about it.
Me either.
I don't think I've ever been to Mississippi.
I only meet with Peach.
That's the only time I've been to Mississippi.
For what?
We flew into Jackson, Mississippi together.
No, don't tell me you at the airport.
I'm talking about you chilled in Mississippi?
We drove for four hours through Mississippi to Louisiana.
That don't count.
We stopped at rest stops.
That don't count.
We waited outside until the airport was open.
It's only in Jackson, Mississippi, you have to wait to the airport to be open.
I was about to have, I didn't know airports closed.
Yeah, no, they had working hours.
Baby, you got a vlog out there.
Like, show me some shit.
like show me what's popping in Mississippi.
Like show me like what they be doing.
Are you flying into Jackson?
Beautiful airport.
No, I'm flying in Atlanta and driving.
Oh, okay.
One of those.
Gotcha.
Greater Atlanta.
So the CEO of, uh.
The CEO of Estrana.
Astraana or something.
Astrana, right?
Coca-Cola in Atlanta.
Oh, God.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
The road trip is crazy.
Nick is crazy.
Nick has been so much time like, fucking producing this episode
and y'all not paying attention to what John's bro.
Yo, DeMere's going on the Johnson family vacation is the funniest shit in all the
baby D is so funny to me, man.
Y'all don't understand.
All right, baby D.
I ain't fucking with you, I'll let you live.
Josh produced the nice episode.
You've met the family at before.
The craziest place I met family?
Not your family, her family.
By accident, it might be the craziest, but it was here.
Like, I didn't know what the-
He was on-
I didn't know it was a family thing.
He was on Houston?
No, I was, I was meeting up with this girl.
I was, I was dating at the time.
And, but I didn't know it was a family thing.
And I get there and it was like, granny.
I was like, yo, I didn't know this was,
do you told me to meet you somewhere.
I didn't know this was like family, though.
This was like, your whole lineage is sitting here right in front of me.
I'm about to meet your lineage.
Like, yeah, I wasn't expecting that.
I had smoke, too.
I was high. I don't want to meet your family.
Oh, no, that's terrible.
Yeah.
I was like, why would you set me up like that?
That was crazy.
They got a new one of those like top golf things coming.
I think they was under development.
But it was basketball.
I said, oh, man.
Oh, yeah, I did see that.
I said, that's going to be grand opening and closing.
There's a baseball one too.
There's a baseball one?
For real?
Wait, like people lob the baseballs up?
Or it's like a pitching machine?
I want to go to that.
That sounds fun.
Jump Shot Live.
Where's the first one at?
I'm betting Georgia.
Of course it's in Atlanta.
Atlanta?
Of course it is.
I went to Walt Frazier,
Walt Frazier's restaurant.
Frazier, shut up.
Walt Frazier's restaurant here, right?
In New York, I think my 21st birthday,
that's where my birthday dinner was.
Oh, every girl was doing that at one time
to get pictures, though, get their pictures off.
He's like, you can't even hold it.
You don't even know what you're doing.
Get out the room.
After the games, though, that place used to be lit.
Oh, yeah.
That was a spot for a little while.
Yeah, absolutely.
I got to check that spot out, though.
I never even seen nobody.
Is it open?
No.
Oh, okay.
I never even seen nobody there.
But they, like, announced it a year ago or some shit.
And they just haven't gotten around until coming soon.
Still coming soon.
But that's a great idea, though.
That's a great idea.
What's the one with all the trampolines?
Sky.
Skyzone?
Is it called SkyZone with the basketball hoops and everything?
Do they have, like, an adult night for that where it's not, like, a bunch of kids?
That would be cool if they did, like, an open bar after 8 p.m.
And you could just have SkyZone to yourself as adults.
Josh had his 26th birthday there
Every I always say I know too much about him
I want to know less
Yo I ain't gonna lie
If I didn't know better
I would think Josh was autistic
At the time
Like who the fuck said
That was like a make a wish thing
What makes you think you know better
At 26 I had my birthday party in Skyzone
26 26 is a wild age to have that
Oh no I bet it was
Oh I'm sure you had a blast
I'm sure you had a great time
But you don't just throw it out of here
Like if we didn't get the invite
Just let us not even know that
I had my 26th
I would do that for my 36th
That would be fun
Skazzo?
Like now?
You can't do no jumping like that in 36
Yeah
A fucking knee gonna go out on that train
I've been back to back gym days
I'm spry
I feel all right
I'm spry
I used to say the same shit
Spride until you wake up
And that motherfucking
Foot go numb
Like you know what happened
That rheumato ride is coming
Yeah I caught a flat tie
What happened?
Speaking of which
What I'm so excited about
This weekend is on Saturday
My new bed frame gets delivered
Look at what you get excited.
No, like I'm ecstatic.
Like, you should look in my group chat with Loyan and Angela of like how excited I am for this bed frame to finally come.
Yeah.
But why I had to get it because my bed is very low.
I'm getting too old, man.
I can't like get out of that fucking bed.
Yeah.
It's like damn near all on the ground.
I need something that I can.
Yeah, you got one of those like a like a Japanese type of bed.
Yeah, exactly.
He has a hippie platform bed.
For sure.
And I, yeah.
I mean, I'm not that old.
But I can feel it in my knees on certain morning.
where I'm like, no, I need some.
It's a little higher.
My bed is high as shit.
I hate high as beds.
I hate them too.
I love it.
I love a high bed.
But how you, like, really getting your stroke that way, though?
Like, are you that tall?
Like, as far as your waist to bed ratio.
Like, as far as she's on the edge of the bed.
And the edge is like, yeah, when you want to get into that.
It's not that high.
Like, it's still right there.
It's the perfect, you know what I'm saying?
But it's like, it's high enough to where it's like, you got to like.
That's what I used to hate about college dorms.
Well, at least when I was.
after you.
I'm sure they was like super out.
I can't even get into my shit.
Like, good story.
You got store shit under the bed.
Exactly.
Yeah.
Could never get into that bitch.
Yeah.
Put a whole motherfucking IKEA
two plastic bins under that shit.
We used to put someone
on my track team under there.
He'd have enough money to stay on campus.
So we,
he slept under the bed.
For real?
Yeah, his name Junior.
His name would be Jr.
Only Jamaica can sleep from in Wood.
Only Junior could sleep under a fucking bed
that's not a bunker.
He used to wrap himself in one of my sheets.
Like, you know,
elastic cheat shit, he would wrap his entire body and go under it.
Listen, man, Jamaican.
I don't know what to tell you.
He had to make it happen.
Listen, it is what it is.
All right, well, the CEO of Astronomer.
Is that the name of the company?
What company is that?
Is that like one of the apps that tells you about your birthday?
I'm not sure what company that is, but the CEO of Astronomer was caught at a cold play
concert on the big screen.
I don't want to hear anything from any astrology chick, any chick that's obsessed with
the moon.
if your CEO and God is already cheating.
How come you couldn't predict that from the app?
It's a New York AI firm.
He's got to be cheating.
It's a New York AI firm?
AI firm.
Oh, he's the Illumani.
Oh, wow.
Is it owned by BlackRock?
No.
Okay.
Damn, that's a tough way to get.
Is it owned by Pfizer?
And you look like, you look redder than me.
You know the only reason why this went viral though.
They would have just been regular white people at a concert if they didn't act so guilty.
Yeah.
And like we all kind of look alike.
Yeah.
But he knows that he got a name out there.
And he's like, oh, shit.
But like what I'm saying-
But you should have just held it down
and just stayed what she was doing.
Yeah.
Ducking was crazy.
Ducking.
That made it go viral.
That made it go viral.
Yeah, of course.
That nigga, he disappeared into thin air.
Who is this guy?
The guy in the background looks like he set it up afterwards.
He's from a rival company for sure.
Watch this kid that looks like a school shooter coming to frame.
That guy.
Yeah.
He's a static.
Oh, yeah.
It's going right here.
It's the person they- Shooter right there.
The crazy shit is, I think that was like a company Skybox.
Because the person next to them is one of their coworkers.
So like the whole company just know they fucking.
You gotta die.
I mean, but my thing is why even be doing all of that at a concert?
If you got that much money, just go fuck her in a penthouse.
He love her.
Oh, you know.
He's my fuck.
He love her.
Yeah, he took her to see Coldplay.
But the whole office went to go see Coldplay.
what I'm saying, like that's not just them alone.
Like, that's the company Skybox.
Yeah, the girl right next thing, you could tell, she was like, oh, man, like, they caught
you.
Yeah.
Like, that's her friend.
You know, that's her friend.
She's like, oh, my God.
She just got promoted by the career.
Yeah, she just got promoted.
A promotion.
The one that's like, turning red, she just got a promotion.
Well, that promotion is fine because he's supposed to look, why, where was your
antennas when that camera was panning around the room?
You were supposed to hold me down.
Yeah, you're supposed to hit me like, yo, listen, the camera is about to catch out.
Like, how do you, when you go.
When you go home, what's the conversation you have when you go home?
How do you explain?
Like, what do you do?
Do you cry?
Do you, what do you do that?
You're a CEO of Astronomer.
You just go home and listen, the lawyers got everything divided already.
Go ahead and just get this thing.
We just get this thing.
Nah, fuck that.
You got to come up with something like, oh, me and Chris Martin put that together for a viral moment.
Astronomer's CEO, Andy.
Andy Dufrein.
Andy Dufrain.
Andy Byron's net worth may range from 20 million to 70 million.
That's a wild range, by the way.
Yeah, you just make $50 million.
$15 million just did questionable.
The Astronomy executive has gained everyone's attention on social media.
So this is that, oh, this at Gillette Stadium.
Oh, man, you know who's my.
Where's Robert Kraft?
Definitely, craft.
Where's crafty?
Yeah.
But I mean, is it a big deal?
What?
If you're married, yes, it's a big deal.
You're right.
I'm sorry.
It's a very big deal.
All right.
I'll go that route that people always go.
We don't know their arrangement.
Maybe his wife is into that.
Shit, not the way that nigga dropped down.
Yeah, nah, he dropped down like his wife loyal to the soil.
No, they role playing or something.
Nah, bro.
Nah, he dropped down like, I'm caught.
He wanted to disappear.
Like, he, and she just turned around.
She ain't know where to go.
What she gonna do?
We caught.
But like you said, they made it hot.
They made it hot.
I've never seen a grown man, like, really get down to his knees in the fetal position that quickly.
He crawled away.
He was trying to crawl out of frame.
He went like this afterwards.
Yeah, like, damn.
I mean, but, you know, it is what it is, man.
He dropped a statement.
Oh, no, I need the statement.
Pull that up.
It's also, you figure there would be some type of NDA when you have a skybox like that of like, don't put a camera near me.
Let me start by apologizing to my family, my wife, and our wonderful employees.
My behavior is inexcusable and the shame I am receiving is well deserved.
I tried to hide my actions, but the truth has finally been revealed.
I am a co-play fan.
And not just of the first two albums.
I also like the recent stuff.
Holy shit.
I am going to take some time to contemplate my future.
Please respect our family's privacy at this.
Wow, Josh.
I thought this was a real fucking statement.
You got got, yeah.
That's hilarious.
I am a Coldplay fan.
And not just of the first two of us.
Not just the first.
No, I like this new shit.
Yeah, yeah, there's new shit that nobody likes.
I'm a big fan of that.
I like the Chris Martin's solo project.
Holy shit.
Yeah, I don't know, man.
You can't.
I feel like concerts are.
good place to take like a maybe not a cold play concert though like if you white and you're cheating on
your white wife with another white woman I don't think cold play is the concert to be at that's kind of
like I feel like you'd all blend in no because I'm not gonna take my like I'm not gonna take my side
nigga to the Drake show like I'm not gonna we ain't gonna go to the hot spot we can go to some low
shit yeah you know what I'm saying a girl I was dating in LA one time I caught at at the Laker game
with somebody else the Laker game and we was texting before the game oh that's nasty
Hen to hand in the Beverly Center like, man, not give the damn who sees me.
It was like, it was like, yo, why would you even, you ain't got a lie?
You what I'm saying?
Like that, it was just, it was just whack that she lied.
Like, it was like.
I mean.
But we still cool, though.
I hate when people say that, though, because there's some, some truths.
I'm just not going to volunteer to you because, like, you're not going to ask me what I'm doing.
I'm going to say, oh, I'm on a date at the Beverly Center.
I'm not going to do that.
All right.
But if I tell you, I'm headed to the Lakers game and you're headed to the Lakers game,
that should probably be the time where you should be like, yo,
friend of mine.
He also got some tickets tonight.
I said I would go with him.
Yeah.
Something.
But I'm sure she didn't think
because it would run into you
at the Beverly Center.
That's huge.
Yeah, but I mean...
First of all,
the first time I went to the Staples Center
I said, wow, this place is smaller
than I thought.
Really?
That shit is not like the garden.
That place, you're going to run
into anybody that's there.
No, but it was bad
because she literally walked
right past me with the dude.
Did she?
She got to speak.
You got to speak.
Nah, she woke past me
like Isaiah walked past Mike
when the bulls beat the Detroit Pistons
tried to duck and hide
like put a head down
and I just looked at a
and I just text the LOL
that was it
Oh my my heart would have dropped
to my drums
and just like give you a hug
and be like y'all
me text you like
Yeah
You gotta be cool
You gotta be cool
Trying to ignore this shit
makes you ten times worse
I'm like what you're doing
like Trevor Rees are standing
I'm with the lake
I'm in the locker room together
We're in the locker room together
I'm with the Lakers, game over.
We're standing and kicking it.
What we're about to do.
She can't walk a pass with the nigga.
You can't duck behind.
All these niggins six, eight.
I still see you.
What'd you doing?
Yeah, she should have like, oh, hold on,
hold on, I hugged you.
Hugs you been like, yo, I thought you meant tomorrow's game.
Yeah, I would have told you I was coming to this one.
I thought you meant tomorrow.
I'm all my way to the Lakers game.
But she must ain't want to fight with that nigga in the car.
It was cool, though.
I know that fight.
I wasn't tripping.
You get in the car.
You don't fucking around adapt or hug the wrong.
You think Maul was a side dude in this situation.
I was definitely the side of that.
Definitely.
I know my place.
Listen.
That's why I ain't trip out.
Like,
I'm cool.
It was just whack because I thought you was cooler than that.
I thought you were smoother than that.
That's all.
So now I see you corny.
Like,
okay, you're corny.
Anytime I've been a side dude.
You still cool, but you corny.
That's not corny.
That is corny.
I don't think that that's cool.
Because I've been a corny.
How was that not corny?
You don't have to,
I know I'm a side dude.
You don't have to lie about shit.
Matter of fact,
Tell me what section you're in with your man so I can avoid that fucking section.
Okay, so I didn't know it was that black and white.
I thought it was maybe she was talking to one dude and he was her favorite and also talking to you.
Not like I have a man and you're known as my side nigga.
Yeah, then that would be like...
Oh, I don't know if that was her man.
It could have just been a date.
Okay, so that's what I'm saying.
Like, I don't think it's, it's an awkward position to be in.
But my thing is once I say I'm going to the game.
Yeah.
And you know you go into the game tonight too?
Just say something.
My bitch probably ain't get up and go get a drink or a high.
dog all fucking game she sat in that seat oh you know listen let me tell you something when you
know somebody you fuck what is at the same event you feel like no matter where you're sitting they can see you
yep you feel like yo they can see me right now with this like she see me with this chick
I know she do like I know her like because the chick told me she was like yo you see your dick
anywhere like a chick told me what time she was like you can be in a room with 50,000 people
if you fucking a nigga in there you gonna see him I'm gonna see my dime I'm gonna see my dime
across the fucking, you bugging.
5,000 people.
All I see is you.
I'm gonna see my dime.
You bugged out.
You know, life is crazy.
That's happening at highlight room,
which is the size of this fucking studio.
And I got dragged to your last minute.
Yeah, you got a text.
Ben knew she was coming, forgot.
Yeah, you got to text before you get in there.
Like on your way up, you got to be like, yo, yo.
Sean dragged me here.
Yeah, you know how much shit I'm going to put on John?
I'm only, I'm fine being dragged because you said you was going to be there.
Sean won't let me be in L.A. without coming to highlight, man.
Which he definitely would be fine when he would be not going on.
He would be totally fine to be.
He actually hates him.
He actually hates him.
He's going to get me in.
Sean wanted me to pull up.
So, you know, I'm here.
I just got here, man.
I'll be here for like 20 minutes and I'm out.
Be here the whole shirt off everything.
All that's shit going on.
You order in a nightcap.
You go to the after party that's downstairs.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
All that shit.
Yeah.
I'm outside.
Then you got to be like, I mean, I'm out now.
Yeah, like, your Sean got me outside, man.
Sean is crazy.
I throw everything on Sean.
I don't give a fuck.
Okay, that's what's up.
Tell Sean to save me some room.
I'm coming over to the table right now.
Were y'all at?
Yeah.
No, that's cool.
Pull up.
I'm not that guy.
Like, come on.
Come on over.
It's all good.
How many times do you think as a friend you've been thrown under the bus without your
knowledge?
Oh, my God.
Countless times.
And I hate that because I get into my acting bag.
Just give me the script.
Tell me what you told your girl.
There's women.
multiple women walking around this earth right now that resent me to the core.
And I don't know why because I don't know what my friends have told them to throw me under the bus.
Yeah.
Like I can see the glare in their fucking eyes of how much they hate me.
And I just sit there like, yeah, man, I'm the one.
We had, I thought we talked about that before.
And it'd be like, yo, you be thinking, your nigger is the one that got all the girls.
Bro.
Like, I don't know these girls that be outside.
Like, I don't know them.
Your man know them.
It's always my home girls that have.
have boyfriends and they boyfriends hate me like, yo, Demaris be having the niggas.
These ain't my hobs.
Right.
These ain't hos.
Yo bitch introduced me to these niggas.
These ain't my niggas.
These ain't my dimes.
Yeah.
I hate that.
I always tell my friends, I'm not the friend to throw, don't throw me under the bus.
I don't like that.
Don't put that on my jacket.
No, you can throw me under the bus, but tell me.
No, don't throw.
It's, I think, I feel like it's different for women because now your home, now your man is out here
with the idea that I'm a hoe because you doing a whole shit around me that I'm
telling you not to do. I don't want that because that gets around. Like, don't put that on my jacket.
Don't lie on me.
I forgot what comedian it was. But he was like, he said his homeboy told his wife like, yeah,
you know, we was out bowling and shit and didn't tell him. So he was like, he bumps into
his homeboy's wife at the supermarket. So yeah, so let me ask you something like, what's your bowling
game? Like, do you? He's like, I don't know. I don't fucking bowl. Like that fast. You got to tell
Let me know what you told
You're a girl, man
Because she's gonna ask me something
I'm like, I don't know
Like, I don't know
Not knowing you don't tell her
Yo, we was just bowling last week
Bow, I don't fucking bowl
What you're talking about?
No, I'll give you one better.
Don't let one of your homeboy's
girlfriends
bust into your fucking
The crib y'all renting's
Door.
Don't even know.
Most of the time I sleep butt ass
But because there was a bunch of people
in that house,
I slept with clothes on that time.
Bust into your room
and ask where the
Fuck, your friend is at because you have his location.
She's trying to grab your phone and you go, bitch, I met you like an hour ago.
That's crazy.
You're the first of all, your girl.
And you, mind you, you alone in your bed asleep at 8 o'clock in the morning, have no idea what was told on your name.
Because I don't mind getting thrown on the bus.
My friends can throw me under the bus.
But tell me.
Tell your homies, man.
Tell me when you got me in your lie, man.
That's all.
I can help you, but you got to tell me I'm in the lie.
Keep me out.
Keep me out your lies.
A lot of girlfriends hate me, though.
because I'm the single guy
and they just think everything
that all girls
they think I'm Hype Williams
like I bring all the girls
I'm like you're funny
I'm just got women on demand
As long as we've been friends
I've been in two different relationships
I've been half single
fake single
super single
Not one girl I've ever talked to
Would ever believe me
if I was like nah
They was mall's host
Like not in that
I get you get hosed
But they know you don't go outside
At all
They would be like yeah
You're gonna blame this on mall
Not me
I don't care how many money bags
I don't know
I don't know them
I don't know them
I don't know them
I mean I'm not my friends
Don't put no bitches on me
Rory every piece of jewelry
that get found in his house
It's mine
Valid
It'll be some name play earrings
That say night
Yeah but that's not valid
What you mean that's not valid
Why you snitching on Nail like that's a homie
That's not valid
Don't put shit on me
You're the home girl that's always at the crib though
So I just automatically
Like I just got to take the fall for everything
Every piece of makeup, every makeup white.
Why are you acting like this is news?
Yes.
That's crazy.
As the home girl, that's always at the crib.
Yes, anything that my girl may find as women paraphernalia is yours.
You and Britt had like drawers at my crib.
I think he means drawers, I think.
No, not like underwear.
Yeah, drawers.
Well, I'm sure there was underwear and y'all drawers.
Like sweatpants.
There was mad shit in there.
Like teachers.
I told, I sent shit to Brit.
I said, you got.
got to claim this it has been two years yeah because when we this is going to goodwill or this is
going back to your crew recording at the office yeah i lived in queens and then me and rory would be going
out and it was just easier for me to always stay in the guest bedroom but then he had a wife and a
family and i was like i'm gonna go ahead home take my drawers yeah get on out of drawers drawers
yeah yeah don't don't put no bitches on me i'm cool no because now y'all you know i ain't even
get into never mind and matter of fact don't do that because there's been
mad jewelry that's been found in my house that has been
one thousand percent of her. Actually, actually been mine. Yes.
There has been. But not all of it.
There you go. But I've bitten a bullet a couple times for you.
I'm the negative. And vice versa. I'll say
some shit that's in my house is Baby D. She never even been to my house.
I don't know what you live. I was the Maris shit.
And I'll call her. I'm like, baby, do you left these?
I would lie for you too.
I'm close. I'm like, it's yours. Baby D. Would you tell these is yours?
Yo, come on. She tripping.
Meanwhile,
you get raised,
yo,
tell her she tripping.
Meanwhile,
it's an extra small thong.
I was like,
DeBarrs,
these yours.
What the fuck?
Come on,
Al.
Oh, man,
you got to love it.
Trying to say his holes

Do you remember when Diana Ross double-tapped Little Kim's boobs at the VMAs?
Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people.
I know what you're thinking.
What the hell does George Bush got to?
Do a little kill.
Well, you can find out on the Look Back at it podcast.
I'm Sam J.
And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick it here, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it.
Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill, waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 is big to me, not just because of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack all day, but just so y'all know.
I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack.
So I'm starting to see that there's a through line.
We also have age.
on the table right now.
Now you're finishing that sentence.
Yes.
I don't think there's a more important year
for black people. Really? Yeah.
For me, it's one of the most important years for black people
in American history.

This month, hear from top streamer Zoe Spencer and venture capitalist Lakeisha Landrum
Pierre as they share their journeys from starting out to leveling up.
If I'm outside with my parents and they're seeing all these people come up to me for pictures,
it's like, what?
Today now, obviously, it's like 100%.
They believe everything.
But at first, it was just like, you got to go get a real job.
There's an economic component to community striving.
If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail.
And what I mean by fail is they don't have money to pay for food.
They cannot feed their kids.
They do not have homes.
Communities don't work unless there's money flowing through them.

He's the writer-director.

You mean the, like, the president?
You think Canada has a president.
You think China has a president.
Does law a brousette.
God, I love that thing.
I use it all the time.
I wrap it in a blanket and sing to it at night.
It's like the old Polish saying,

Yep.
It was a good one.
I like that snake.
It is an actual Polish saying.
Yeah.
It is an actual Polish saying.
Better version of Play Stupid Games, win stupid prizes.
Yes.

All right, Josh.
What is this, Maw's number two tweet?
What is this shit, man?
That's crazy.
You put that on mall.
Yeah, mall number two tweet is funny.
I didn't even click it.
Oh, number two, yeah, right.
What is it about?
It was a double entendre.
You was taking a shit?
No.
Thanks, Pete.
It was just double entendre.
Number two.
All right.
I know the first entendre that Drake is number two on the Billboard list for what did I miss,
which I did apologize to you via DM when it said it was on track to be number one.
and then you said,
thank you for admitting you were wrong.
And then I said,
yo,
but this Clips album is slapping.
And then you didn't reply
to my DM after that.
I didn't hear it.
I didn't listen.
I didn't hit the album yet.
I just thought it was a,
I thought we were finding
like a good middle ground.
That was like Friday morning.
You said that.
I didn't hear the Clips album yet.
I was on the fourth play.
Yeah,
no,
I hadn't heard the album yet.
But that was for that end,
the LeBron.
So who?
One hundred,
NBA list.
Oh.
That's what I thought it was.
That's what I thought it was.
Don't even ask me how, baby, dude
Double entendres.
I just be tweeting on Tondas.
I didn't ask you how.
You know, and you were shitting on them
so I just, yeah.
Niggas don't tweet on Tondra's.
I don't.
I don't tweet on Tondra.
You know,
doesn't tweet on Tandras,
Nikki Minaj.
That is a straight,
she's a straight shoot.
If I've ever seen a metaphor in sight.
If I've ever seen a straight tweeter,
you don't have to guess.
It's fucking this Nikki Minaj.
You don't have to get the fucking thing.
Yo, Nick, what's the hat?
I just want to call Nikki.
Like, yo, what happened?
What is going on?
You don't need to call her.
It's all laid out there.
Yo, Nikki, you know I love you.
What is happening?
Yo, somebody tried to screenshot like a long-ass tweet,
and because of the regular screenshot on Twitter,
it looked like a CVS receipt of how long it was.
And somebody was like, not reading it, God bless, or whatever.
And everyone under that was Nikki Minaj fans saying,
okay, so you never wrote an essay in high school?
Like, you've never written a five.
paragraph essay before.
Yeah, but not on Twitter, though.
On X, you don't write essay.
But no, seriously, all jokes aside,
what is this stemming from with her and says it,
with Nikki and says,
what is this,
what's the beginning of this thing?
Well, from what I know,
TDE's, what's,
punch.
Yes, he tweeted a song that had Barbie in it
and she took it as a broken Barbie,
which is a song that's coming out.
Well, no, it's out.
It's from one of their new artists.
The video came,
out. It's called Broken Barbies. Cool record. And then she went and she started going off thinking
it was about her. Then Siza tweeted Mercury Retrograde, Don't Take the Bay, L.O.L. Silly Goose.
And Nikki just went off. Said go draw your freckles back on Buki. She's still like fighting
with Desiree. It's literally still going on right now. It is July 17th, 304 p.m. You could hit
refresh on Nikki's page and it is still going. And this is from three or four days ago. Maybe five days
ago. She keeps telling Siza, she, then Siza has said something like, you need to get it together.
And she was like, Siza, you think you're more famous than me or you think you're more successful
than me. And so it's like, I don't get fuck about none of that weird shit you pop in. Like, it's just
going back, Siza and Nikki Minaj, going back in four or five Twitter is something I never
thought I would see, but I'm not surprised. And all right, so I thought it was based off what Punch
was tweeting that had to do with the new song he's promoting. But then Nikki had retweeted someone
bringing that up and she was like imagine if I ever went off like this because of what
Punch tweeted it has nothing to do with that so now I am completely fucking lost I thought
maybe she just misunderstood what punch was saying and she's claiming it has absolutely nothing
to do with that she didn't even see that so I am completely lost I'm sorry I don't have any
journalistic things to bring you here I know the Desiree jZ rock nation thing goes back to the
title shit goes back to them managing
Megan and Megan and Nikki having a back and forth and funding Megan saying nasty things about
Nikki according to her, which we covered two episodes ago.
I was trying to like follow it and read everything, but I just, you know, sometimes I just
be like, this ain't for me.
Like when the girls are fighting, I'm just like, when the let me go at it.
It's like when you see Chris Brown put out 60 songs on one album and you're like, I can't
keep up with all this.
Yeah.
I'll listen to the first five.
And that's as far as I've gotten in the Nicky's is a thing.
All right, so do we think that, you know, because you know, I'm always, is it music?
Bars coming?
No.
So it's not taking, says it's not going in the studio to diss Nicki Minaj on rap.
No, it ain't got to be dissing it, but it could be a, it could be a bar in between some good melodies that's directed at Nicky.
I don't know.
All right.
SOS, the intro on the, uh, champagne poetry beat.
Sizz was getting bars off.
Let's not act like Siza hasn't halfway wrapped before and is a great.
Well, I definitely believe Nikki's going to have some balls or scissors.
Here's my thing.
When Bigfoot came out, I said that if Megan doesn't reply, that's an L to Megan.
And I still stand by that.
I think she should have replied to that.
Even though I didn't think it was the greatest disc record, you're not about to diss me like
that so directly after I sent you subs and then just be quiet.
So I think, personally, Meg did take an L with Nikki in that back and forth because
Nikki showed up to rap and did it.
Even though I didn't think it was a good disc record, you still got to reply.
I don't think Siza is going to do the same route.
If Nikki comes out with a record tomorrow towards Siza,
I think Siza during tour is going to reply.
I don't.
I do not.
I think Siza is enjoying her stadium tour.
Like, I don't think she's going to.
I think maybe a couple years ago,
but I don't think, I think that Nikki's rants,
the barbs are going to kill me, whatever.
I don't think fuck.
I think that Nikki's rants
have taken her from that beloved everything she has and everything that she's earned
when it comes to her career, she's earned it.
Like, she's stamped as the greatest female rapper of all time.
But her Beyonce-ish level of, like, the way people looked up to her, she's taken out
away with the constant rants.
People don't pay attention to her rants anymore because there's been so many of them.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, when J.Z went on his one long rant on Twitter, it was the biggest thing
on Twitter, you know what I'm saying?
Because he never does that.
He's also bigging everybody up.
Well, yeah.
But this is so regular now.
It's become so regular that people just kind of brush it off now.
It's not an important thing anymore.
This is like Nikki ranting again.
This feels like an extra crash out even for Nikki.
We're going on four days right now of the same shit over and over too.
It's not like new information.
The energy behind these tweets that I'm reading from Nikki is definitely feels like
she's been a lot of this is shit that's been building up and shit that she's been holding
in for some time and she just finally found the moment to just like really go off.
But it's definitely a different energy behind.
This seems more like I've been waiting for this for this moment because like you know.
When it comes with scissors.
Yeah, like you know I don't rock with you.
I think you phony.
You've been mad phony for years.
Like it feels like that.
Like I tried to have respect for you because, you know, whatever.
But like I don't like the funny moves you've been making throughout the years.
Like you always move funny and I don't.
don't like it. I think it weird. According to Siza, the funny moves were Nikki requested two features
and she didn't do them. Is that funny moves? Some people, yeah, if you don't do, I mean, listen,
if Nikki Minaj hit you for, and I don't know if this is factual, now we're just going on for
what we're seeing. No, no, it's factual because Siza posted it and Nikki did co-sign that that
happened down to her saying, Nikki, question mark, who, of course it was, it was that. So yeah,
so that's valid. Yeah. I don't think why. I don't think.
Crashing out like this to me is not valid because somebody wasn't available to give you a feature.
No, no, no, no.
I'm not saying that's all.
I'm not saying that's the sole reason.
I'm saying I think that the features not coming back or not responding to the features or doing it, whatever.
I think that that may add to it.
Like, like, you're going to keep, like, you ain't going to do a feature with me?
Like, I'm some struggling up-and-coming artists or something like that.
Like, who doesn't do a Nicki Minaj feature?
now that's not something you see
often you don't you know you don't hear that
if niki manage reach out to somebody for a feature
nine times out of ten that feature's coming back
especially when you're not
at the time
I don't think Cizzo was as big as she is now
so at that time I'm sure Nikki probably was like
I just think you dope like you're not
to the level where you could just like not respond
or just not send a record back like oh if you don't want to do it
just say that
but to not have no
like back and forth
you know, on why the record, why you don't want to do it.
I can see Nikki filling away like, like, yo, who is it?
Like, where should he just curved my feature request?
Like, that's crazy.
Which I didn't even see the bars put this one together because I want to be fair and objective
here.
I see your point.
And she did a Cardi feature.
She's on Cardi's first album.
So here we go.
So I try to get into the brain of Nikki.
Even if I don't agree, I'm like, okay, maybe she's looking at it.
Like, I've tried to do features with you.
You didn't.
but then you did a whole fucking duet with Cardi B,
who was my enemy and felt like the entire industry was posing against.
But I still think this is corny and weird.
To be fair.
I can also think two things are true.
I think the Sizz of Cardi feature came before Nikki requested this is a few.
I think the Niki's Siza feature was for Nikki's latest album Pink Friday, too,
which was like what last year, a year and a half ago where the Cardi one was like six years ago.
Yeah, for sure.
But also when Nikki was saying,
that she doesn't even know Sizz's music,
and the Sizz was like,
all right, well, you use my bars on feeling myself with Beyonce.
So to me, I feel like there has been talks six, seven years ago
of Nikki and Sizz are working together.
I don't think it was just for the last album
because they did say it was two different times.
So yes, I think there was a time early that Nikki was maybe not even just a feature,
just to work together, which is fine.
Like, shit, Rihanna was seeking out Sizzer.
a writer to work together. This is a great writer.
I can see around that time when
invasion of privacy was happening
that Nikki would have been like, oh, that girl's dope.
She's a great writer. Let's work together.
I can see that happening, not just with the last
album. But I don't know. I just...
Man, give us some music. Fuck it. Don't tweet.
Give us some music. This is the music industry. Just the music
business.
And I know we're supposed to have a whole stance
and we have to pick aside
because that's the world we live in now.
I think it's fine that Nikki decided to be the villain.
Just go.
But sometimes.
Just go for it.
Even if I think some of the shit you say
is full bullshit, be the villain,
say some wild shit that nobody
as an A-lister legend that Nikki Minaj is
would ever fucking say.
But Rory.
I like it.
Go ahead.
Crash the fuck out.
Yeah, but we go back to years ago.
Crash out.
When you were sitting right across from me,
when that whole Nikki Cardish started.
And I said from the beginning of Nikki's career,
she's always show love to all female MCs.
I agree with that.
So sometimes you're forced to become the villain.
Sometimes when you're too nice and lean all the way into it.
Sometimes you push into that villain mode
where you start to be like,
all right, I can't show love because y'all don't appreciate that.
I mean, she with the last album and the album before that
has even done like skits in between songs.
I'm the fucking bad guy.
Like, yeah.
Nikki has been this for quite.
And when you're as successful as Nikki, you're going to, people are going to not like you.
They're going to fucking, you know, fill away towards your success and you being, you know, the top dog.
Like that, that's part that comes with it, which is, which Nikki is very well aware of.
So I think that's just a lot of this.
And it's just, you know, fuck it.
I got some shit on my mind.
I'm going to get it off and I'm going to see how I feel.
And that's that.
Yeah.
I understand it.
I get it.
I just think there's more credence to crash outs when you stick to the actual facts rather than some of your feelings.
because like no
I feelings is part of the crash out
No when the crash out is starting to allude to
The crash out don't always got to make sense
And here comes Toveenger
When the crash out starts alluding to
Oh it's odd that Wayne
Got a gun charge when he was beefing with Hoves
It's like all right
I was feeling some of the shit you were saying now
But now you're getting
Now you get into a whole like weird level
Yeah that's a little like that's like the National Enquirer
On the checkout at the supermarket
Like you can't read that
Like that's just like all right come on
And that's why I'm saying
I think there are some things
and they're saying that is very valid.
This woman has been in the music industry for 20 years
and has seen a lot.
Shit that none of us have seen.
It says ups and downs, different labels,
came up on the come-up DVD all the way to being an absolute legend,
if not the greatest female rapper of all time.
So yes, your crashouts could be very valid.
Absolutely.
When you start throwing in all this other weirdo shit
and Des and her daughter and all this other nonsense
that it's just like, now I can't follow you on this,
this crash out and not because
I have any allegiance to them or I'm a
whole venger. You're just saying nonsense
in between saying facts.
Stick to the fucking facts, Nicky,
because that's who you have been this entire
time.
I think there may have been some weird shady shit
with title.
With what happened with you and if you didn't sign the paperwork,
this and that, stick to the facts.
We didn't look at Nikki as a liar
forever. When you start throwing in all this
odd shit, it makes you look
like an emotional liar.
I mean, I get it.
I understand that.
It's some facts of that.
So, you know, again, the crash outs are entertaining,
but I can't keep up with four days of crash out is too much.
I'm trying to get up to this Givion album.
Like, I can't also read Nikki's tweets and listen to Givion at the same time.
It's a lot.
It's a lot going on right now.
But either way, you know, listen, hopefully we get some bars out.
This is hip-hop.
This is the music business.
Hopefully we get some bars out of this.
if Cisda want to give us a beautiful melody
responding to bars.
I think Cis will give us some bars if it happened.
Listen, man.
I don't know if it's a fair fight when it comes to rap
because Nikki is Nicky obviously.
That's not fair.
So Ciz has got to do with you.
But I mean, listen, we get some music out of it.
I'm all for it, man.
Like, I'm all here to just hear the music,
you know, be entertained.
And, you know, hopefully business-wise,
everybody lands in the right spot
as far as their business is concerned,
which is none of our business professionally.
But yeah, man, I don't know.
I just can't, I can't really dig into when, when, you know, women are going back and forth like this.
Like, I just feel like I shouldn't really be reading all of that.
As a man, I'm just like, oh, shit, the girls are fighting.
Like, but I'm not going to go over there and, like, you know, egg it on.
Like, yeah, but if y'all want to rap, shit, I'll listen.
I'll hear some balls.
All right.
Do you think in the green room, just as jokesies, just a little jokey jokes, do you think Kendrick has wrote
anything and just
said it out loud to Cizza. Just as a joke
in the green room. You love starting shit.
I'm sorry.
Nikki Minaj has been ranting for four days
and I'm starting shit.
You don't think two people that have been on tour
for half the year where you just
get bored in green rooms, you don't think
Kendrick, who we've known to be
pretty funny, has not
just put out an eight.
A four.
I don't think Kendrick. I don't
think Kendrick is dissing women in the
green room in his alleged free time.
I don't think you guys are way too serious.
You guys are way too.
I know for a fucking fact,
Kendrick Lamar has made a joke in bar form
during this entire thing.
How do you know that for a fact?
You know that man?
No, I do not know that man.
Oh, okay.
Just say you would do it.
Just say that's what you would do.
You would do the same fucking thing.
What are you talking about?
We wrap bars each other all the time.
You don't know that man in any way home boy.
You're a grown-ass man.
Point out of Kendrick.
Just because you got your shit in the tuck.
No.
Oh, please.
You know for a fact, they've been rapping bars back and forth laughing.
Yeah.
I just want to call Nikki so bad.
I just want to hit.
I just want to.
No, not on the fucking air.
I wouldn't do that.
She would probably be done.
She would appreciate you calling her.
Yeah.
At any rapper, she'd probably be like, yeah.
I wouldn't.
Now, turn the mic up.
I would never.
Hell no.
Fuck no.
Why?
If you tell her, yo, we are on Mike right now.
I would never do that.
Yeah.
I think I would call Nikki Minaj and be like,
yo, we're on mic right now.
I prefer that over her talking to Aiden Ross and getting to know him.
No, no, no, I'm talking about on the personal.
Like, I want to have a, like, personal.
No, no, I would love to have a personal conversation.
I get that.
And again, this is going to come off, like, hate towards Aiden Ross, and I'm fine with that.
Even seeing that call.
And I don't care if it looks like hate or shit.
It's not hater shit.
It's more protecting her and the culture that we fucking love.
No, I don't think Nikki should go through Aiden Ross to talk about what's going to
going on between her and says it.
I don't think that should be the facilitator.
Did that happen?
There was a video of them.
He was, you know, I'd be on stream with the speaker talking and they, yeah, they were getting
to know each other.
And I get it.
The streamers are the number one thing right now.
And if you want to get to audiences, I fully understand that.
But with this type of shit, no, I don't think Aiden Raw should be the Farrakhan of this entire thing.
Farrakhan.
Yeah, I agree with you.
It's like, no, I just don't.
But she kicked it with them, like, about what she was tweeting.
No, somebody connected them and I could see the play of what was happening.
Go ahead, Beach.
She was, like, calling, like, streamers, like, what streaming popular should I join?
Yeah, because she wanted, yeah, getting into a stream game.
But I already saw the play of what that was going to be.
Oh, I thought you meant like she was talking about her rant.
No, but I thought about to do that word.
I can guarantee you I could see an Aidan Ross, Nikki, stream happening within the next week and I have.
Okay.
Which?
Sure.
We'll see.
We shall see.
It is what it is, man.
I really don't, you know.
Speaking of Givian,
girls are fighting.
Dramaris, and your close friends,
did you post the backup playing lyrics?
Which Givion song did you put in the last two days?
Oh, let me go look.
I thought you was in a happy mood.
And then I went and listened to the Givian album and I was like,
I don't.
But you know what?
That's how I know that it's good because like I could still like rock with it.
Like I'm happy.
I'm not going through that.
But I could still.
like, you know?
Well, you and I are similar there.
Like, when we're in great moods, we like sad music rather than the opposite.
No, I like happy music.
It's actually really hard for me to listen to depressing music when I'm like in, when
I'm happy because I can't really relate.
If you had played this shit for me about six months ago, I'd have been on the floor crying,
but this is a good song.
Backup playing?
I thought about Maul when I was listening to it because I'm like, this sounds like a
conversation that Maul will have.
Like, oh, you ain't argue with me no more?
Yeah, you got a new nigga.
Yeah, facts. That's what Givion said?
Get your shit off.
Give me on, that's exactly what that shit is.
No, it's funny. When DeMaris posted that and her close friends, I was like, oh, she was attracted to the same song I was.
Yeah.
That one spoke to me right away.
He got that shit off.
Even in the chorus, something's different in the way you yell.
Something listen lately, I can tell.
You can tell the different tone your ex has when she's starting to get off you.
Like, you don't even have the same passion when you are.
Yeah, that'd be because they don't close them portals.
Girls are keeping them portals open with them other niggas.
Now we keep a port.
Now we, now we Dr. Strange.
Yeah.
Y'all always got them portals you like to jump in and out of.
And this I know Givion, I mean, we didn't need to tell you because it's on record with
his Justine Sky relationship that he's a complete narcissist.
When he added in not to mention, I've been treating you well.
I said, oh, that's my bag, too.
Once you fuck, I like, deal, I'm finally treating you well.
Now you don't even want to argue anymore?
It's too late to apologize.
It's too late.
No, I mean, but he said not to mention, you know, like, I don't want to mention it,
but I've been treating you well.
Like, we're not beefing.
We're not, you know.
I'm not fucking around with nobody.
I've been, you know.
Fine.
For this time.
I'm not fucking around with anybody this time.
I'm human.
I'm going to make my mistakes, but I've been mistake free for a while.
More.
Vers.
Finally getting it right.
Like, you know.
Verse two is the definition of sobriety, if you will.
When everything, when the, when the chickens finally come home to
roost.
Mm-hmm.
You used to fight a little longer.
Mm.
Now you choose silence over war.
Oh, yeah.
You ever be in a full argument and she just be ignoring the argument?
I mean, that nigga hit in the back of that shit.
That other nigga, he ain't near drilling for motherfucking gold in that mother's fucking.
Yo.
He about to hit oil in your girl.
Nigger, he's striking.
Your girl don't squirt?
Oh, yes, she do.
Yo.
Yo.
You know, baby, Dee.
Why?
No, no shit.
Because you're a woman.
And you know when one nigga can make you squirt
Another one can't
You know, you didn't even know you could do that
You didn't even know you can do that
Well, they'd be mad when they didn't know
They could do that, right?
Yeah, you ain't know you can do that.
That's why you need the teammate.
Yeah, yeah.
Hit that little almond in there underneath the hood.
Hit the almond.
The kidney beans.
You know the almond that's underneath it.
Was that Patreon too?
Yeah.
I feel, but sometimes the backup plan
sometimes the backup plan ain't even hit yet.
Sometimes you just know it's there.
That's true, though.
That's just the physical, though.
Mentally, he fucking the shit out of your girl.
So y'all talking physical.
Sometimes it ain't always physical.
She ain't just physical.
All right, let's look at the other side, though.
Your girl could check out mentally.
She don't even hear what you saying in the house no more.
No, that's what Givion is saying, right?
You used to fight a little longer.
We used to argue because we hate each other, but we just want to talk.
You know when you lost your girl, bro.
Your nervous system will tell you when your girl life.
Yeah, you niggas don't have discernment.
Y'all niggas don't feel your nervous system?
Y'all don't listen to your, I don't listen to your,
listen to my nervous system. That shit kept me
alive all these years. Listen to your nervous. You know when your girl checked out.
You feel it. That shit is in you. Like you know like, yo, she
not even, you know, she hasn't looked at me in three days.
Listen. We be in the same house and she has not looked me in my eyes.
Something is missing lately. I can tell. You don't listen into what I have to feel.
Not to mention I've been treating you well. Must got a backup plan. That's your nervous
system. That's your nervous system speaking to you.
He said never was it this easy for you, was it, to get mad at me?
You know, when a nigga just doing little shit, you just be like, huh?
Why are you eating that cereal like here?
I always eat my cereal like this.
My entire life, I've ate toasties with.
I eat cereal like this every morning.
Man, you find that backup plan.
The way a nigga chew, the way a nigga do anything, the way you, why are you breathing
so hard going up and down the steps?
Like, you're like, damn, like, what's wrong with you?
But see, the flip side of this, though, is when, you know, they think.
think they got the backup plan and then they start investing more time in the backup plan
backup plan back a plan and now here you come back to the original plan trying to make it
right oh no they'll always come home always but sometimes the back not always but sometimes the backup
plan is just proof that I don't need to be with you sometimes the backup plan ain't plan B for sure
you just plan a and a half like you're of the plan that's like you know what you just show me just how
much I don't want to be with this nigga I don't want to be with you either agree
You showed me how much I just don't want to be.
Reminded me, I got you guys all plan B from the right aid, 70% off.
It's all my bag.
Thank you.
I appreciate that.
You're such a thoughtful guy.
I was just trying to think of the, I don't need it.
Our group chat, 70% off.
I got plan B for everybody.
Yeah.
You want to need it.
You don't want to kid.
You fertile.
The rest of the wheel, we don't got no kids.
Well, thank you.
Yeah.
I've never been told I was fertile.
Feral.
Feral.
But not.
Feral.
Feral.
Have you ever been?
Fertile.
been the backup plan that hasn't hit yet?
And you're wondering why?
I think so.
And how long am I going to be this backup plan for you?
And I'm not beating.
Like, wrap it up with homie over there.
I'm not about to be here just doing the LOLs with you for this fucking long.
I'm not going to be your pen pal.
I'm like a line in the African desert.
I'll wait.
I'll sit down and wait on my prey.
I don't have that type of patience.
I sit in the bush for two weeks.
Two weeks.
Not long.
I was thinking months here, Ma.
You want him to destroy my man.
marriage in two weeks is probably. I have not known a girl's last name in two weeks.
Come on. Like, what you're doing? You don't like him. You know you don't like him.
Oh, so he was dirty mac. No, I would never say it in my mind. I'm saying, like, you don't like this,
dude. Like, cut it out. Everything you're telling me you're going through, like... I've probably been a
backup plan for a month before I... Is that your man or your roommate? Like, who is that?
Sometimes it's both. Sometimes it be your roommate. You got to ask them type of questions.
Ask them, ask some tough questions. Is that your man or your roommate?
I mean, I don't even mind asking that on your...
Bays partner.
Like, which...
On the first date, I would ask that.
Like, yeah, I still live with my ex.
All right.
Is your ex your roommate?
A woman can't tell me she still live with her ex.
You know, Ma don't play that.
You still...
What?
What are you talking about you?
On a first date?
I'd appreciate that honesty.
And now I know...
No, you could tell me on the first date, but it's going to...
The conversation, you're ready to go to...
I'm like, why are you still live with your ex?
Like, what happened?
I can't afford to...
Oh, no.
I would ask that...
I'd get an whole deep dive, but...
I would switch to...
I'd probably just be...
I'm not thinking about a relationship now.
Because we just got to like, y'all like to say you can, let's just be realistic.
You cannot live with your ex.
Like, that's just not realistic.
And date, I think it's a very, very difficult thing.
And we have voicemail about that a long time.
Yeah, it's just like, what do you mean you still live with your ex?
What are you talking about?
Doing that and dating, yes, is a very difficult.
Yeah, I got one bathroom.
One bedroom.
Where this nigga sleeping at?
The couch.
Cut it out, man.
I'm not jacking.
He's sleeping on the couch and you walking out the shower.
You would be surprised, ma.
I'm serious.
You're absolutely right, Roe.
You really would be.
Shout out to our friends.
I would be very surprised.
You would be surprised.
That is fucking crazy.
You'd be surprised how many people sleep on the couch.
If they have the financial means to sleep in the guest bed, you'd be surprised how many people
will literally live with their ex for financial reasons.
And they will not even see each other like that.
That is crazy.
That's a sick way to live.
It's very unhealthy to date that way.
You can date that way.
How?
Some people try.
But you shouldn't be dating.
You said you could fuck?
You could fuck.
But you can't, you shouldn't be date like seriously dating now.
That's.
And how do you, how do you, I just don't, I don't know.
How do you fuck somebody else?
Obviously, you're not fucking in the house where you live because you still live with your ex.
Yeah.
And then you leave from where you was fucking at.
And then go back home to where your ex live at.
And then y'all supposed to just be in there just like.
Who's that?
But I'm saying there's really no communication between those people to begin.
Who said you leave it?
Yeah.
I'm staying at night.
No, I'm saying.
At some point, you're going back home to where your ex lives.
Yeah.
Because you still live together.
How do you navigate like that knowing that you fucking somebody else and like, but you
Well, if it's really over, then it doesn't matter.
Like, if it's really over, get the fuck out of here.
Again, mom, not everybody has the financial means.
You shouldn't be fucking.
You should be working.
Yeah.
You should be working.
Should be night trading.
Yeah, you should be working.
Night trade.
You should be taking doubles, nigger, overtime.
You should be doing a whole lot.
Anything other than fucking is what you need to be doing.
If that's your situation.
Well, let's say you signed a lease with somebody, right?
And that means you're locked in.
You guys are splitting this rent.
Y'all are locked into splitting this rent.
For you to go live somewhere else, get another apartment.
You still locked into that rent that you promised you would pay for it.
You're half of the rent.
You would pay for the year.
So now you're paying rent and a half.
for a place you're not even staying.
That's a lot.
I'm going to keep it real.
If I was in that situation and I, like, me and my ex, like, it's over and, like,
I cannot be around this woman.
I would go sleep in a shelter before I live with my ex.
But why is it automatically I can't be around this woman just because it's over?
Some people's relationship is just like, okay, yeah, we're over.
We don't hate each other, but we're just over.
Yeah.
Some people don't end because there was some cheating or, like, domestic abuse.
Some people just are like, yeah, this doesn't work out.
Yeah, but.
to still be living in the house with somebody you once had a home with.
Damn.
This shame.
People do that with Craigsler's strangers.
It don't even feel to say.
Like, I can't keep coming in this.
I cannot keep coming here.
Like,
I just don't mentally,
how do you,
how does your body even,
like,
how do you even feel at home in a place like that?
That's what I'm thinking about.
Like,
just how do you really just be like,
after a long day,
come,
oh, yes,
I couldn't wait to get home.
That's not even,
it don't even feel like that there no more.
that's not home
that's where I'm speaking from
like that's not home anymore
that's just like a roof over your head
which is like
and I get it financially
you feel the same way if you find your roommate
on Craigslist
because I don't know if I'd just be peaceful
coming home to somebody
that I met on Craigslist
yeah I was never I was never the roommate
fan if I have a roommate
it's somebody that I've grown up with
I know like it's my friend like
Craigslist, no.
Thankfully, I never had to
had to make that type of move, but, like, yeah,
I couldn't do that. I wouldn't be comfortable.
Like you said, I wouldn't be, I wouldn't be comfortable.
I don't know this person.
You don't think Tom Brady and Giselle
lived with each other for a little while?
I can promise you.
Tom Brady and Giselle did not live with each other
for a little while.
I'm sure they did.
Even when she was banging the fucking,
the karate teacher, whatever you were talking about.
Do you know how much money Tom Brady got?
Not how much money, Jazelle got?
You know his kids living there?
You think Tom Brady would live across the street
from his,
before he lives in the same.
Who knows if the house is available?
Get the fuck out of it.
You're talking about Tom Brady, though.
We're not talking about no nigga that's struggling.
His kids live there.
Niggas be staying.
People be breaking up and staying there for the kids.
Matter of fact, he has a big enough house that he wouldn't even need to see fucking
Jazeelphi if he didn't want to.
I know.
I know people should go to Taekwondo and not even know.
And guess what?
He has a big enough bank account where he don't have to sleep in that house no more.
Keep the house.
This is your house.
My kids.
Convenience and money sometimes don't balance each other out.
I can promise you convenience and money balances.
And sometimes this is my motherfucking house that I paid for with my six Super Bowl rings.
Tom Brady ain't like he ain't moving like that.
All right.
Let's relax.
Actually,
yeah,
no bum.
Yeah,
I didn't say she's.
How about to say?
Just,
Gazelle was probably sitting there like this is my runway money.
These ain't the problems that Tom Brady and Jazeel have to face.
I'm saying money sometimes is not the issue there.
It's more,
hey,
we have a family where separated,
everyone's doing their own thing,
but it's better for us to be here until we figure it out.
We have children.
That's all.
Yeah,
but they don't have them.
They don't have an infant.
Him finding a condo.
in Tampa.
Like, yeah, of course he can afford it.
But why the fuck am I doing that when I have a seven-bedroom house and I can just go
in the other bedroom?
Because I don't want to.
And wake up to my kids in the morning and drive them to school.
Because I don't want it to be awkward when I'm walking around the house and have to
see my wife that I'm divorcing.
Yeah.
I don't have to live like-
He has Sophia now.
He's dating Sophia Vigera?
Well, they went to Jeff Bezell's wedding.
And then from there, they went to Abiza, I believe, and we're all the yacht together.
Wait, what did you say?
He went on a date with Sidney Sweeney.
He's still young.
Tom, I was.
My goat is still my goat.
He's still throwing touchdowns, ain't he?
How many touchdowns is that now, Josh?
Where is he at now?
Past 500 for sure.
Sidney, Sweeney and Sophia?
Same week?
Sophia's a smoke show.
53 years old.
Smok show.
She looks incredible.
Oh, my God.
So, 53?
There was a row.
All right, so they went to Jeff Bezos's wedding,
and then after that they went to having your after party
in Abiza after like your weddings in Italy is hilarious,
but it's Jeff Bezos, so I get it.
They were on the yacht together,
and then someone said some rumor that Tom was like,
I can't be dating her, she's too old for me.
Sophia?
Yeah, I don't believe Tom said that shit.
Nah.
Tom don't even talk.
Tom's not Bill.
He don't even talk to nobody.
At any time you see Tom Brady talk is at,
it's a game on.
Yeah.
He's at the stadium.
It's the only time you see Tom talk.
Oh, yeah.
Or he's screaming at an offensive coordinator.
Yeah.
It's really the only time.
But I didn't know about the Sidney-Sweeney thing, too.
How old was Sidney-Sweeney-Saint?
Having a little spark.
I wish there was a camera on Pige.
He said a little spark.
Don't tell me Tom and Sidney
was having a spark.
Don't do that.
All right.
That's still my goat, though,
that you got to have a spark
with Sophia and Sydney
in the same buffet line.
Yeah, I mean, that's Tom.
That's Top Gun Brady right there.
Come on.
Top Gun Brady.
You know the lady.
You know what Top Gun walk in the room.
They know who Top Gunn Brady is, man.
Guys, I tried to tell you.
He's a unit.
That is the crazy.
We had a spark at the 4040 together.
Please stop.
I don't know what you're talking about.
It's Sophia, Sydney, and Rory.
You would have went home with Tom.
I didn't see any date.
That is nasty.
Josh, can you Google any dating rumors between me and Tommy?
Why did I get brought up on any of this?
We were at a fancy event together.
Like, yeah, no, we hit it off, I thought.
That is fucking hilarious, right.
That's fucked up, man, that I wasn't, you know, involved in any of this.
don't got your name in that.
Yeah.
Like, what the fuck, man?
Oh, my God.
Look what you want to be attached.
You know, that is fucking funny, man.
You wouldn't want to be attached to be dating Tom Brady?
I mean, we should be so lucky if I was attached to Tom.
This pod would be so lucky.
Let me tell you something, baby, Dee.
I woke up to them calling me gay on Twitter one time.
If I woke up to them saying that I was dating Tom Brady, I'm like, you know,
life ain't that bad.
Yeah, listen.
If they think me and Top Gun Brady is together, like life ain't that bad, man.
Listen, you, volumes great now.
Can you imagine if there was.
Tom Brady dating rumors between me and him?
You think it'd just be better help?
No, we'd be in anything, yeah.
Tom would move us into Tampa.
Incredible.
And we could keep our money.
Speaking of sports, did you watch the SPs last night?
No, I didn't even know the SPs was on last night.
So before we get into that, can I ask, do they do the SPs every decade?
Every year.
No fucking way.
Yes, every year.
The last time I thought they did the SPs was when Drake hosted, and that was a year-long thing.
No, that was, they do that piece every year.
I just didn't know it was last night.
That's a lie.
Who hosted?
Shane Gillis.
Okay.
And I have never seen someone bomb in such an amazing fucking way.
They announced, you know how they usually put monologues out, whether it be the Oscars, Grammys, S&L, they put that shit out right away.
They put out his full monologue when I was walking into the studio today.
Because I felt like they needed to just feel out the cancellation world.
Yeah.
See what, see what.
Because there was little clips that were bubble.
on Twitter.
Yeah.
I think they needed to just feel out
like what the world
thought about Shane shit.
His monologue was
fucking incredible
to one of the worst
crowds that's ever existed.
You know the athlete crowd
is a little different.
They didn't know what
they were supposed to laugh at.
Yeah.
He said me and Caitlin Clark
have a lot in common.
We're both from the Midwest
and have nailed a bunch of threes.
Yo,
please.
Please.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what you're saying.

top. Do you remember when Diana Ross double-tapped Little Kim's boobs at the VMAs?
Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people. I know what you're thinking.
What the hell does George Bush got to do with Little Kim? Well, you can find out on the
Look Back at it podcast. I'm Sam Jett. And I'm Alex English. Each episode, we pick a here,
unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it. Including a recent episode
with Mark Lamont Hill waxing all about crack in the 80s. To be clear, 84 is big to me, not just
because of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack on day, but just so y'all know.
I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack.
So I'm starting to see that there's a through line.
We also have AIDS on the table right now.
Thank you finishing that sentence.
Yes.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Really?
Yeah.
For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history.
Listen to look back at it on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your

I feel like it was a little bit unbelievable until I really start making money.
It's Financial Literacy Month, and the podcast, Eating While Broke, is bringing real
conversations about money, growth, and building your future.
There's an economic component to communities thriving.
If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail.
And what I mean by fail is they don't have money to pay for food.
They cannot feed their kids.
They do not have homes.
Communities don't work unless there's money flowing through them.

What Coogler did that I think was so unique.
He's the writer-director.
Who do you think he is?
I don't know.
You mean it to like the president?
You think Canada has a president?
I think China as a president,
the law crusette.
God, I love that thing.
I use it all the time.
I wrap it in a blanket and sing to it at night.
It's like the old Polish saying,
not my monkeys, not my circus.
Yep.
It's a good one.
I like that saying.
It is an actual Polish saying.
Yeah.
It is an actual Polish saying.
Better version of Play Stupid Games,
win stupid prizes.
Yes.
Which, by the way,
wasn't Taylor Swift,
who said that for the first time.
I actually,
I thought it was.
I got that wrong.

Nobody cares.
You look like Rocky after you fought, Drago.
Why you got to?
While also looking like Drago.
Yeah, why you got the flag draped around you like that?
Because nobody cares.
Everything you're doing over there, nobody cares.
Listen, man, we said joining it was going to clap back.
Nobody cares.
He clapped, too.
He said joiner was going to clap back.
I'm proud to be in America.
where at least I know I can rhyme.
Skepter.
What you doing?
It's on you.
It's on Skeptor now.
Joyner did what he had to do.
He cooked.
That was light as fuck.
What do you rate it?
By Joyner.
4.5.
I don't even think rounds have started.
I think Skepta had a weak shot in the beginning,
but I've respected it because it started the battle.
But Joyner shit is light.
I'm still.
I'm still wrapped around.
Come on,
you know,
I bleed these colors.
Yeah.
That joiner shit was light
by Joyner standards.
I think he kept it light.
I hate when people say that.
He put it out as a disc.
You don't get to say it's not like it's light.
The rhyme.
Oh, no, no, no.
The road is open to anything.
The man's the road dem,
a roadman,
whatever all them guys are.
He can go at this point.
The road is open.
But that was light.
I think Joyner has a bunch in the tuck
and it's chilling to see
what Skept is going to do.
do. He didn't want to jump out.
He got more rap. That was light as fuck.
Joyner can, he's one of the rapper rappers.
Like, he can rap.
I don't know, man. What does this?
Does it stay Joyner, Joyner Skeptor?
Does somebody else from the UK jumping on this now?
Remsey.
As much as I like, as much as I like the Joey Badass being jumped by the
entire West Coast.
Let's keep it with these two to start.
Not everyone has to just jump in real quick.
It's very light right now.
Let these two duke it out for a second.
And then if somebody catches a stray, they can happen.
These are the rap Olympics?
Yeah, but no, but that didn't happen.
We're going country for country.
No, that didn't happen when it was Joey versus the whole fucking West Coast.
And I'm saying, I don't know if I want that for this one.
No, fuck that.
Clap.
To you, it was the UK.
First of all, more, I'm trying to protect one of our greatest allies.
Joyner, Joyner bigged up the rest of the UK.
He says, Skept, it just ain't even in the top 10.
Yeah, we don't even know you.
I get that, but you know still, like,
your man get popped on, your man
get popped on, you pop back.
You know, there ain't no fair one.
You know one on one.
Again, Maul, I'm trying to protect one of our greatest allies.
We're their children.
We come from them.
Well, I do.
Definitely you.
I mean, yes.
It was a different route.
Way different route.
It was a different way.
It was a middle passage or something.
I don't know.
It was a different turn.
Yeah.
But we come from them.
I'm trying to protect our father in this situation.
If more people get in,
this is going to get ugly.
Same way your man's like I get it.
He was in the UK.
They're the best out.
I love a lot of UK rappers.
Dave is one of my favorite rappers.
Of course I'm putting all the,
we will smoke y'all.
This will get so fucking ugly.
I want to see it.
I just want to see it.
It'll get so ugly.
I'm not saying I don't agree, but I'm going to see it.
Skeptifier, gigs fire, Dave fire, C-Fi.
They're all fire.
But just the sheer volume,
it would get so fucking ugly.
it would be reverse World War I.
Okay.
We cleaned y'all up when we were 13 colonies and y'all had all the money.
You think in hip hop it's about to be a battle?
I just want to hear, man.
I want to hear music.
I love this type of shit.
You know I love this type of shit.
Like let the guys rap, man.
I just want to hear more bars.
Everybody jump in.
Fuck it.
They need somebody else.
I fuck with you, but I don't know, man.
I just want to hear rap.
Maybe just be like, yo, that join your shit, it wasn't all that.
So I'm just chill.
Maybe like go that route.
Nah,
go that route.
Fuck that.
It'd be safer.
Skept got to clap back.
He got to clap back.
Fuck that.
Don't bow out.
No, it's on now.
Now it was lit.
Well, now, all right, I'll speak with an in-house.
I'm fine with Joyner going like, I didn't like that he was a little timid in certain shit of like, oh, I might lose my UK fans.
Let's fuck them.
Yeah.
It's America.
Yeah.
All right.
Tripping.
This is how it starts.
You know what I'm saying?
Pete.
This is how it starts.
No, I'm not saying go join up with Israel.
I'm just saying like, who cares?
Gotcha.
Okay.
I think skeptic going, he's going to clap back.
I didn't like the timid shit on Joyner's second verse of like, oh, I'm towed the line.
I may lose my UK fans.
You ain't say nothing while I've heard you say crazy or shit.
Oh, for sure.
You had a white guy using the N-word rap just like me, look just like me with the flag saying
the N-word.
You've crossed the line on certain shit.
Yeah.
They're saying it.
Go all the way, Joyner.
I think I think we all going to get other UK rappers to jump in on this though
I can see it happening I can see it becoming and like I said I like it because again it's just
a platform for for you know people that's not hip to UK rap and how a lot of guys over there can
really rap like it just is a platform to expose that and show that the UK has rapists so I'm here
for it man if it's sport and it's just hip hop yeah of course let's do it I'm here for it man
Skept, Skept, it's on you though join the clap did what he had to do got right back to you
it's on Skepton now
any other other guys want to jump in and call
names out
yo fuck it man this is hip hop man let's do it
that was what two days ago
we're recording this on Thursday
and there's six hours ahead of us
Skeptic looks scared
how are you in the future too
your clock is ahead of us
he got a rap from that perspective
yeah skeptic matter of fact
your new your response record might be called
back to the future
Eastern standard
time.
EST for sure.
EST for sure.
EST Scept.
You're a Sket for sure.
He's a Skiy Skiy Skiykeh.
Without a doubt.
That's the name of his next joint.
Speaking of amazing raps,
Sai hi did,
well, not Lakers,
because now it's just incredible.
I hate when, like,
a platform you love breaks up.
Don't you hate that?
I love it.
Hey, man.
Hey, mine.
I just answered his question.
Come on my.
Sour milk.
Just incredible.
How could you break up
such an amazing platform?
You guys made history together.
you guys couldn't work it out that's fucking weird that's so weird it's so weird how that
happened the fucking nerve of y'all to ruin the culture that way why couldn't you guys figure it out
oh man um so yes just incredible freestyles now not the LA leakers the way we used to like it
um and forget about their personal lives they should just stuck together yeah um sah
went on there and rap for six to eight minutes straight sah hi went fucking crazy
Sahai rap's better than everybody, man.
Like, Sahai is just, he's, for me, one of the most incredible MC's rappers that I've ever heard.
It's not even, it's not even like a hidden thing anymore.
And I think, and I know for a fact, the rappers that everyone respects and they look to, they look at Sahai like one of those guys as well.
So I'm just happy, I'm happy whenever Sahai raps, man, because Sahai, he, you know, he'd been undisapied for two years, writing for a bunch of people.
Don't hear nothing from him.
He'll pop up with a record, a freestyle, and then he'll disappear again.
I need another Saha album.
It's time.
No dope on Sundays.
Definite classic.
Still getting played.
Without a doubt, classic album.
But that was 2016?
Yeah.
2017 maybe.
I think it's time.
Saha, it's time.
You know how I feel.
It is fucking time for a new Saha album.
We need a new Saha album.
November 2017.
November 27th, Saha, come on, man.
We be pulling up on nine years, bro.
No, eight years.
Like, come on.
Like, what are we doing?
We need a new Saha album.
Well, I hope personally, I just need a new Saha.
The fact that he's rapping for six minutes straight, I assume that means that music is coming.
No, but Saha is a lab rat.
He got songs.
He got albums done.
You know, he's just, Saha is very intentional, though.
Everything has to align and everything has to be right.
He's not going to just put out an album just to put out an album.
Like, and I respect that.
But yeah, man, it's time, man.
You can't give us no dope on Sundays and then disappear for eight years, man.
Like, come on, man.
We need a, we need a fucking album, bro.
I mean, you know, he was doing shit, like writing number one records.
Definitely writing.
Definitely has some, he got some bombs.
Yeah, he was like doing shit in between.
It felt like he was just chilling.
No, listen, he's been working.
I didn't say he ain't working.
I would never say that.
So I was always working.
But I'm just saying, I, me personally, because I just, you know, he's one of my favorite
rappers of, you know, all time.
He did Boulat Kav.
I haven't watched the interview yet, but I assume music is coming.
I saw he just did Bulekav, did Just Incredible,
I think music's coming.
Yeah.
So I can't wait, but he went fucking nuts.
To keep somebody's attention for that long rapping is one of the most difficult things.
Every time I listen to the freestyle, I catch another bar.
Yeah.
We have announced Freddie Gibbs, Alchemist, Alpherson.
802.
July 25th, next Friday.
1995 available now
on DSP.
Happy that that's coming.
You know what I'm saying?
It feels, that's what I'm saying.
This feels like the right time for Saha'u.
Freddie and Al back.
Okay.
I think they may have dropped the same time with, in 2017.
I think Alfred came out around the time.
No, no, no, no.
Afraid it was right before COVID.
I'm afraid.
Alfred it was COVID.
Yeah.
2020.
You're right.
20.
Right.
Um,
I appreciate that they announced it today and it comes out next Friday.
But to just,
Just like lightly throw out part two to a classic album is kind of funny to me.
Yeah.
That's when you know.
Just to remind, like we're doing part two next Friday.
It's like, whoa, wait, wait.
But that's when you know they got some shit.
Wait.
Yeah.
You're about to put Alfredo.
Yeah.
The second installment.
This is going to sound blasphemous to you hip hop old nerds.
For this era, that's like being like, yo, Illmatic 2 is next week.
It's like, all right, slow down.
Yeah.
You can't just say that out of fucking nowhere.
Alfredo 2 is in seven days.
And we need it.
That's pressure.
Listen, man, I just want to hear music, man.
Let the guys that make great music put out great music.
That's what I like.
Alfredo to next week.
We need that.
Summertime Butch, Benny the Butcher Project out now?
Yes.
Shout out the Butch.
It's music out, man.
We got music.
The clips still listening to that.
That's out.
Listen, man.
I like music.
Listen, man.
As long as the guys that can make music is putting out music, I'm happy.
As a music connoisseur.
You don't have to make everything about myself.
Three hours ago, I got an email from.
Spotify, you know, just their regular mass email. Freddie Gibbs and the Alchemist made you something
special and then like has the pre-save link a message from Freddie and Al about the vinyl, this and
that. How come when I make something special, Freddie, Spotify doesn't send out a mass fucking email?
I knew that's what you was lining it up to go. I knew that's exactly what you was running.
When I got that email right before we started recording, I was like, wait, hold on. How come when someone
else makes something special? Yeah. You don't get the mass email? I got to start some white and white crime
with Al. Yeah, there you go. This owl
on your neck joint. Troy Ave, that shit
was goofy. I know no one wants to talk
about it, but I'll say it out loud.
Oh, the video, yeah. But I mean, I...
It looked fake the first time I saw it. When I was
called him a fucking hero. I was like... But that's why I can't
really get into that because I know it was fake the
first time I saw it. So it's like I don't...
I mean, it's weird. It's awkward to make a video
like that. Now, if it's for music,
it was a part of a music video and that's like
the leak, the rollout to the video,
then I understand it, but what was this for?
Nah, I don't understand it. Because A
Ave has been through some real actual shit.
If this is for a song in a video and if the song that he's talking about the shit he'd
been through, it makes sense.
But what is this for?
What is this the thing that they put out?
I think it's weird for a rollout to a song when I'm saying, Av respectfully has been
through some actual real shit.
And the way Ave talked, he would never play with that corny shit.
Matter of fact, Ave has a podcast.
And if me and you did some shit like that, Troy Ave would be sitting on his own couch going
Rory and Ma are some fucking goofies.
You're right.
It's like, but what I'm saying is-and himself would say that's some goofy-ass shit.
You're right.
So what I'm saying is, if this is attached to music in a video.
It was attached to a pod.
And it makes sense.
It would call us goofy.
No, no, no, no, no.
If this, I'm from what he did.
If it's attached to a song in a video, if that's a part of a video, it makes sense.
Still goofy.
But if it's not, weird as far.
Like, if this is just some random just clip to put out, it's like, well, what is that?
But if next week.
I think it's goofy with a song.
No, but you can't see a scene like that being in a video.
I can, but as a rollout with somebody that all of us know, that he knew, that Pat, like, come on, everything that he has been through, like, come on, you think if 50 after that real shit that happened with him did a fake many men shit for the massacre album of him getting sprayed up on Jamaica Ave and all of us were like, yeah, what the fuck, we'd be like, oh, I was ill?
No, like, that was some actual real situation that we know you for.
You was on camera in Irving Plaza doing this very thing
If he was some rapper that hadn't been through shit
I'd be like, that's just rappers doing goofy shit
You've been in situations like this
That people have lost their lives in
And now you're playing
You're not some goofy rapper
That has not been through some shit
That's corny to me
Yeah, if it's not part of a video
I think it's even cornyer if it's part of the video
No, if that's his life
What you mean? That's the art
You turn your life into art
You could go find it.
I don't need the replay.
I've seen it for real.
Yeah, but that's happened.
Rappers have shit like that in their videos all the time.
If this has nothing to do with music, it's weird as fuck.
Because now it's like, what is that for?
I agree with you on that point.
This has nothing to do with a song or that's not a-
Well, it's a long rollout.
A shot from a video?
Well, yeah, we need a video tonight.
Like, the video got to drop.
After TMZ said, hey, this is fake?
Yeah, the video should have came out.
So if it's not yet, I just don't, that's just, what was the point of that?
That's just very weird.
Yeah, I don't know.
maybe I'm just getting too old
and I just don't like people playing with that shit
when people have died in that same situation
that you have been a part of.
But maybe I'm getting too old.
Do we have voicemails?
You've got mail.
We do. And it's sponsored by
Boost Mobile Unlimited Talk, Text, and
data for just $25 a month.
Forever.
Y'all, what's good for you all?
This is Manny.
I got out of jail last year.
It was prison.
I tried him.
I met this girl
who vibed out really, really well,
passive and cool.
I'm more so outgoing guy.
I meet a mother very early.
Everything happens early.
I end up slashing the first night, all, da-da-da-da-da-no-no.
But everything moved relatively quickly.
The point is, the mother ended up moving in about three months after we started dealing with each other.
I told the one when she was going to move in, baby, if you let her move in, all, no disrespect,
but it won't change the dynamic of everything we got going on moving.
And some of the tendencies I see from her kind of toxic.
So therefore, she didn't, she did, she did.
me that he that one. It was, you know, family's family. She moved in and then almost immediately
she started treating me like shit. Well, come to find out she got some Googles and whatnot and she found
that I was in prison and then I didn't have a conversation with her about me being in prison.
And so she felt away. We tried to work through it. We got back. We felt through the Rocky Park,
got back together, rocked out for a little while. Her mother felt away so she made up a story
that I was kind of arguing with it in front of the child. But she lived in a two bedroom one, two bedroom house.
now I'm in a position where the mother don't like me
and I don't know what you do to.
I mean, I've heard jail phones that sound better
than what you did there.
Hey, Maddie. Listen, I would love to give you perspective.
I'm going to try to what I heard.
If I can hear you.
But future reference, anybody leaving a voicemail,
do not be on the air pod.
Do not have your windows rolled down.
Just talk directly into the phone.
It just sounds better.
It's a better listening experience for all of us, please.
Find a quiet area.
Yeah.
Speak right into your iPhone, whatever galaxy.
No, I know what that is. He was on the air pod and the noise cancellation, so it just sounds a little weird.
All right, yeah. Mani is in a predicament here. And I don't blame him for being so forward.
Damaris and I have talked about, you know, slash the first night, you end up in a long-term relationship, end up moving in.
Mani, who am I to judge, understand that? And then you also have to deal with their family.
Mom moving in. He spoke up for himself, like, hey, I think this may ruin our dynamic if moms comes in.
but hey, we're together.
This comes with family.
Do you think Manny should have mentioned he was in jail?
Because I don't.
Unless he did some weirdo shit.
Nah.
I don't think he owes that to the mom.
No.
I mean, the daughter,
she can have that conversation with her mom if she wants to.
But I don't think he needs to have that conversation.
Yeah.
I don't know if he's.
Yeah, no.
But I mean, listen, it is a weird dynamic now that the mom moved in.
And, you know, it changes things.
You know, and the mother obviously doesn't want her daughter with a guy that,
is, you know, I don't know
what his charges were, what he was in prison for.
That changes.
That changes.
That leaves this kind of in limbo.
Yeah, man, you conveniently kept that,
but what you was locked up for?
What you did, man?
Yeah, like, what you was locked up for?
If you was locked up for assault or, like,
burglary or some shit,
I can see why the moms don't want your little
fucking cat burglary ass in there.
Yeah.
Like, she's watching you.
She's watching your little cat burglar ass.
But, yeah, I don't, I don't think that he should have had that
conversation.
That's not his place to have that conversation with the mother about him
being incarcerated.
I don't think he was supposed to have that conversation.
And again, with the weird audio.
The daughter can, though.
From what I understand, because they had only been, like, dating for three months when they moved in, it seems like the girl he's dating has a child already.
Because the mom was saying, oh, he's arguing in front of the kid.
He kind of, like, conveniently left that part of him.
I mean, unless he got right to it.
He said he slashed the first night.
No, because he just got out three months of dating.
I doubt that's his child.
Because I feel like he would have been like, then we had a kid together.
No, because they remember he moved out, then he moved back in.
So they got, they had some time.
in. That's not his kid, bro. Yeah, it's definitely nice. I feel like he would have said,
and we had a kid together. He might have said that. We couldn't hear his ass.
Yo, Maddie, we got to see you to the Zoom Zoom room, man. We got to get you on the Zoom Zoom
room. Yeah, absolutely. Call in, man, so we can figure this out, man. We can have a conversation and
really dig into this debacle that you don't found yourself. I mean, it's better than being in
prison. But, I mean, the mother can start to feel like the warden walking around the house, though.
Yeah, I mean, I've never, I mean, thank God, have never lived. I mean, I've never lived.
with a woman and her mom before.
Like, lived, lived, that's never happened.
I could imagine that be awkward.
And thank God I've never not gotten along
with a girl I was dating mom.
I've not had like a relationship per se,
but it wasn't like a negative one.
We just didn't really have a relationship.
But this sounds like, hell,
we were talking about Tom Brady and Giselle.
To me, that's the dream.
Living with your girl,
her mom and her baby, and her mom hate you,
yeah, I'm gonna go sleep at a,
a men shelter.
Yeah.
Maybe that's the advice,
Manny?
Go to a men's shelter?
No, we're going to get Manny
in the Zoom room.
Mani,
we're going to definitely get you
in the Zoom room
so we can dig through this
and help you out
and try to get to the bottom
of your whole family dynamic
right now.
Because we don't know if that's your kid.
We don't know.
It's just like,
we don't know what you was locked up for.
Why would the mom be mad
that you was, you know,
spent some time in prison?
Like, we got more questions for you.
Tell them the call and leave the email address
when you could make.
Mani, leave your email address next time you call.
We won't play that on the air.
Yeah, but we need your email address
and we can send you the link for the ZoomZoon Room.
All right, even though I don't think that's his kid,
let's say it is his kid.
I'm on the side that mom slash mom-in-law,
this ain't your kid, this ain't your house.
You don't have any rights to anything in here.
This is my house, this is my family.
But we don't know if that's his kid.
I know, I'm saying hypothetically.
I personally don't think it's his kid.
Okay.
But hypothetically.
Or let's say he's in a man.
amazing stepfather. Let's say that really is his kid
on some stepfather shit. Yeah.
This ain't your house?
Yeah, but still. That's...
And don't pick arguments with me in front of the kids so you can go use it against me
to your daughter. Oh, that's, that's, that's what it sounds like what happened.
That's that, that's that grandma one-on-one textbook right here. Yeah, yeah, we're going to get
this nigga out of there. We're going to collude, clude to get this, this jailbird out of this.
Jailbird is funny. You know she called that big a joke.
Girl, this nigga to move the jailbird in. Like, you know, she'll, she'll,
on the phone with the aunts and all of them.
She, this nigga, she doesn't move the jailbird in.
We're going to get you right, man.
Don't trip.
We're going to get you right.
We're not solving anything in this house.
Mani, call in.
We're going to get you right.
We're going to get you right.
Don't worry about it.
We got you.
All right.
Well, I feel for Mani, yeah.
I'd like to have a full conversation with him.
Is that our only voicemail today?
Josh said, y'all, y'all left some trash-ass voice mails.
Do better.
Stop calling in with them trash voicemails, man.
Also, be shorter.
Be more concise.
Be more concise.
and get to the point is what Josh is saying.
Josh picks the voicemails, by the way.
All right, well, it's been fun talking to you degenerates.
Yeah, who's excited for the weekend?
Me.
Ready to shake ass.
I'm a, what are you?
Am I in the close friends?
I'll put you back in there.
Why I keep getting kicked?
Baby, I ain't, I ain't commented on a close friend.
I ain't said shit on it.
I haven't done nothing.
Why do I keep getting kicked out of close friends?
Because sometimes,
Sometimes you my nigger and sometimes you my boss.
You can't sometimes the boss can't be in the close friends.
Oh, man.
I hate America sometimes.
How dare you?
Those colors don't run.
Sometimes your boss can't be your close friends.
Sometimes you got to get kicked the fuck out.
Nah, man.
But I don't be saying nothing.
I don't.
Just observing?
Yeah, I have not responded to anything or your close friends.
I just look.
Sometimes I laugh like, they go baby D.
And that's it.
I don't say nothing.
Sometimes when I'm late to work, you don't need to know why.
You, all right, I've been even closer.
You've never posted on, like, the close friends day.
That's because it was late.
The night before you were, before you.
When I was posting, what you didn't need to see, you weren't in there.
Well, put me back in for the pool party.
I'll put you back in.
And then after pool party, though, take my ass out of out.
Why are we not invited?
It's kind of my question.
Why would you?
You don't invite me places?
I don't go anywhere.
Y'all go to mad places together, first of all.
Cut it out.
We go to something.
You niggas ain't invite me.
