Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed human. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me. Clivert Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits,
Starting point is 00:00:12 my basketball and college football journey, or my career in sports media. Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifers Show. This is a place for raw, unfills of conversations with athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated.
Starting point is 00:00:28 So let's get to it. Listen to the. the Clifford show on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok podcast network on TikTok. On the Look Back at it podcast. From 1979, that was a big moment for me. 84 is big to me. I'm Sam Jay.
Starting point is 00:00:45 And I'm Alex English. Each episode, we pick a year, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it. With our friends, fellow comedians, and favorite authors. Like Mark Lamont Hill on the 80s. 84 was a wild year. It was a wild year. I don't think there's a more important year for black people. Listen to look back at it on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
Starting point is 00:01:07 or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Daniel Alarcon, and this is my friend. This is much more famous than I am. I wouldn't go that far, but I'm John Green. Co-host of the podcast The Away End with my old friend Daniel. On our podcast, The Away End, we'll share with you the magic of international football, all leading up to the 2026 World Cup. Together, we'll find out why, of all the unimportant things,
Starting point is 00:01:29 football, soccer is the most important. Listen to the away end with Daniel Alarcon and John Green on the IHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. On paper, the three hosts of the Nick Dick and Poll show are geniuses. We can explain how AI works, data centers, but there are certain things that we don't necessarily understand. Better version of Play Stupid Games Win Stupid Prizes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:01:57 Which, by the way, wasn't Taylor Swift, who said that for the first time. I actually, I thought it was. I got that wrong. But hey, no one's perfect. We're pretty close, though. Listen to the Nick, Dick, and Paul show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. The volume. We are back visually on YouTube.
Starting point is 00:02:23 It's the last time. For the time. It's the last time for the time. We will be on Netflix next week. Yes, sir. Big applause just from Josh and our studio audience. Yes, sir. New Roy Mall will be on Netflix.
Starting point is 00:02:38 I got my Netflix red on today. I can see that. Yeah. It's my Netflix red. They go on Netflix when you look in the mirror like, no, this. I gave, I went Netflix on them today. You know what I'm saying? Gave Netflix Yaleigh.
Starting point is 00:02:49 I mean, you know, I had to go Netflix red on them. And I didn't see what you did. All the way down. Come on, man. Why you laughing, man? I'm here, man. What's up, man? What's up?
Starting point is 00:03:02 Down to the socks? No, no, no. I got some. Stay Netflix down to the socks? I mean, to the sneakers, not to the stocks, yeah. Well, yes, we will be on Netflix starting next week. All you have to do is open your Netflix app.
Starting point is 00:03:13 There'll be a way you can find the podcast or type of New Roy Mall. We'll put the link up on socials. You can even close your phone and listen to it. That's right. So not much is going to change. And it's actually even better. Yeah, I think so. You can watch it on your phone.
Starting point is 00:03:25 You can watch your computer, TV. And if you feel like just being on the go, just close that app and go audio only. Just listen to us, man. Listen to what we got to say because we got something to say. But no, I'm excited to say today. What's up, Baby Dee? Baby Dee went Netflix red on the hair. You see it, you know.
Starting point is 00:03:40 You ain't see the Netflix red on the hair. Wait for niggas to buy a 70-inch TV and put me on it on Netflix. You know. Baby Dee can't wait to her inside's heels. She can't wait. Yo, can you? Baby, Dee, why you can't wait till you? Never mind.
Starting point is 00:03:55 Relax. Relax. Relax. A lot of content that Yellow T. On my way here, I saw like five stories of Damaris in this fit. Yo. She's doing a photo shoot with Pige on the couches. No, baby
Starting point is 00:04:07 what's sitting? I see why you're trying to get the concert. I'm telling you, baby Dee had a light pole. She has something, though. Stop saying that because people actually fucking believe you. They don't know that you're joking. Well, that's good, though. I want them to believe.
Starting point is 00:04:17 They believe everything else. And it's a compliment if they think that and you really didn't. No, yeah, no, I did not. I got an ovary removed, y'all. Not, no fat from the side. Like, what the fuck? Where did they put the over? You said you got a rib removed?
Starting point is 00:04:28 Oh, I thought you said you got a rib removed. The rib is next. I ain't going to lie. I'm so motherfuck a lot. That's because you're Christian. Oh, man. But no, I see the girls is out today. It's the period boobs.
Starting point is 00:04:38 That's why they sitting? No. Okay. No. You know, I'm just, I'm feeling good. We're going into Netflix. You're just happy. You're just smiling.
Starting point is 00:04:46 Let me see your text, though. What? Oh, boy. They never understand what you say, let me see your text. People don't know. This is about eight feet between the two of them. Yeah, she heard everything else I'm saying, talking about what? Anyways, man.
Starting point is 00:04:58 We are back sponsored by Boost. And today, I think just specifically, uh, OZempic is one of our, forward-faced sponsors. Naturally, OZIPA will be one of the sponsors. You know, you have to, with every drug, there are side effects. Of jealousy, yes. You may get skinny, but you also may have feminine tendencies. Yep. So just be careful with the OZMPIC. You got to take OZMPIC after a meal. You have to eat first. So you have, you know, food in your stomach. You can't just like fast and then take OZMPIC.
Starting point is 00:05:24 Yeah. Because, you know what I'm saying? You start becoming jealous. Sometimes the tone of your voice gets weird. Yeah, it's just like, it's just nastiness, man, you know. But you know. Sometimes you got to mix it up until it crap. You asked you. What's up with you? You came in here feeling good, looking better. I always feel good, man. You know, I always feel good, man. Just, you know, just happy. Summer Walker's on. Just happy to see the crew today. You know what I'm saying? That's all. You know what I'm Yeah, just happy to see the crew. Man, what? It's a good time. It's a great time.
Starting point is 00:05:52 The snowstorm could take us off the map. So we may as well enjoy it now. Listen, man, we were supposed to begin some winter apocalypse snow. Like, so you saw that snow in Russia. Did you all see that snow in Russia? Well, that was AI. No, it was not. Some of the photos ended up being AI, but yes. I've seen them actually like jumping out off the roof sliding down. Like that was crazy. Yeah, I mean, listen.
Starting point is 00:06:13 Why we can't get that here in New York? Like, we need that type of snow. And their form of government, too. I know you're really into it. Oh, man, I love it. That's the results you get. But no, Ma and I had a Netflix call this morning. And I wanted to say on that call, like, yeah, we're ready for next week.
Starting point is 00:06:28 But we may not show up to work on Monday. Yeah, we may not. I don't know what's going to happen with the storm. And this isn't local. because this shit is hitting all of the south. Florida is about to get six feet or enough. Nashville, Virginia. Texas is fucked.
Starting point is 00:06:42 It's supposed to be bad. As we record this, Texas is about to be under ice. If Drake doesn't shoot Iceman content on his ranch. On his ranch. This is a missed opportunity. I do want to add the Jay-Z and Drake jars for our episode. Moving forward for Netflix, we have to have the jars. And then we can donate all that money to a charity of your choice.
Starting point is 00:07:03 We might need more jars. We might need a J-Cole jar at this point. At this point, I think we might need it. Well, that's not me bringing up J-Co. I'm just bringing up a jar. It's because you're charitable and you want to donate to J-Col's charity. We could get like one of those gallon water things and just, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:19 Because it gets part of it. We got to start taxing ourselves. It's our last YouTube episode. It's a few jars we need. It's a few. Rory like. Rory, before he go to criticize somebody, how you got to get them props first? We need that jar.
Starting point is 00:07:31 Get the give props, Joe? You can't, you can't. make him somebody. No, before Rory go to criticize somebody, he got to, don't kill me, because I like this person. They're really talented, but we got to get that. Oh, so the butt jar. Yeah, the bud jar. The bud jar. I like the bud jar. I like the bud jar. Yeah, I like the bud jar. Yeah, I like the bud jar. But see, that's why I know Demaris is so phony. Because off Mike, one time she was like, yo, I understand why you say that before you do your takes. because she was getting killed for a take. And she's like, now I see why you like preference everything.
Starting point is 00:07:55 Because you already know what everyone's going to say in the comments. When you give a take. They're going to cut out everything before the butt anyway. Oh, for sure. They're going to cut out everything before the butt. So fuck it. say whatever the fuck you want to say fuck it we are Netflix now Netflix cool with it fuck you niggas clip that
Starting point is 00:08:09 damn clip that I said that fuck you niggas alright baby these shit get some shit off there yeah that's what come on now you said we leave it with a bang like what's up yeah listen we're here man we're here
Starting point is 00:08:18 let's talk about it man last episode on YouTube for the foreseeable future well they'll still be there'll be clips on YouTube we'll still be able to access some things there but yeah full episodes
Starting point is 00:08:28 we'll be on Netflix and audio it'll be across the board everywhere that you get audio podcast And we'll also be adding some things to Patreon as well. Oh, for sure. Yeah, so we'll still be active on other platforms, other areas. We're just moving. We're moving over to Netflix Avenue.
Starting point is 00:08:45 Yeah. And seeing what those condos over there look like. Yeah, man. It's got a pass go a few more times. Time to have fun. Let's have some fun. But shit. All right, this week, I mean, we have to continue, unfortunately, talking about, we'll have the jar tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:09:00 Okay. Speaking of, Jada did mention that there was a mixtape that J. Cole was working on that he was rapping over Money Power Respect. And he alluded that there may be a mixtape coming before this album and the double disc could be a mixtape, which we lightly talked about. And we kind of laughed like there's no way he's doing a mixtape. I feel like Kiss kind of confirmed that. He cleared the records for him. There is a mixtape coming before the album is what it appeared that Kiss was saying. But in what form is this like for all the dogs?
Starting point is 00:09:30 And then we got scary hours. Is it that type of thing? Probably. Okay. I would assume, but I think like on DSPs. And my, my guess was because January 28th starts for sales, I would assume January 28th we may get a J-Cole mix date.
Starting point is 00:09:44 I'm guessing. This is not an announcement or anything. This is just my guess based off what KISS said. Yeah. If something's coming before that, why wouldn't you utilize the January 28th date? Yeah. So.
Starting point is 00:09:53 Yeah. I mean, I wouldn't mind a mixtape on his birthday. I would take that. Oh, that. Oh, yeah, that is his birthday. You know, knowing his birthday is crazy Man, my business I'm about saying, I know J-Cold birthday
Starting point is 00:10:04 I don't, I didn't even put two and two I just know I don't even know your birthday May the fourth be with you No, I know, I know Roy's birthday, yes It's very easy It's only based off, you don't You know because of Star Wars
Starting point is 00:10:14 Exactly, yes, it has nothing to do with you I don't know Drake's birthday I know Jay Z's birthday Everybody does Because it was in That's Christmas That's not Christmas? You think Jay Z's birthday's on Christmas?
Starting point is 00:10:27 No, that's the real Christmas That's on December 4th But that's the real Christmas. No one, that's the day that Jesus was born. Yeah, knowing that that's the real Christmas is funny too. That's the real. You know Jay Cole's birthday. The Jesus is real birthday.
Starting point is 00:10:37 The Jesus of Marcy. The Jesus of Marcy. Like, what? Well, yeah, I hope we do get a mixtape. That would be great. That's a Wednesday, right? If we're looking at the 28th. Oh, yeah, we're going to go crazy on Netflix.
Starting point is 00:10:53 And don't let us be able to play it on Netflix. Yeah, we can find that. We're going to push some rules. We're going to. a lot of just asking forgiveness later type of thing. We may premiere that mixtape on Netflix. Cole don't even know it. Money, power, respect, freestyle.
Starting point is 00:11:12 Oh, man. But yeah, it appeared like that was an actual fact. But I would love to hear Cole like on some warm-up shit, just rapping over other beats. Listen, man, I know people think that I don't like Cole. It's stupid to think that, but I would love to hear that as well. I just want to hear Cole rap. Just don't want to hear him rap certain words.
Starting point is 00:11:29 Ways anymore, but I want to hear him rap for sure. I feel like Waino was sending maybe some shots your way and I'm literally just making this up to cause tension because I know Waino wasn't whatsoever. But I mean, shit, like Cam, he just did his letter to Dame, Harlem on Harlem Crime. Like, you guys are just recycling the ways. That took Harlem down and I don't like to see you and Wano beef. Me and Waino are not beefing, man. I don't even want that to become a thing.
Starting point is 00:11:56 We love Waino. Yeah. But yeah, we were watching. watching yesterday before we recorded, um, Waino's podcast, which, which is great.
Starting point is 00:12:04 And he was, he was given some pushback on, uh, on people like you that have the opinion that Cole cannot talk greasy. And he was even alluding that it was even more egregious what Drake did than what Cole did. And, you know,
Starting point is 00:12:17 me and Peage were just, just sitting there staring at you with the side eye like, oh, he might be talking about you. Yeah. Then I see, then I see Rob, who already suggested taxing us.
Starting point is 00:12:27 He put up a video today saying the same. thing like listen man media person out is a corner of you me yeah you know what I wish I just wish just so like we could I just I wish no I'm not going to say it now come on what's your fucking it's the last YouTube episode you pussy no no not because I don't want to I don't even want to I don't I don't want to like I hate having the same conversation over and over again about Drake Cole and oh yeah I don't do that never mind don't do that I hate that you know saying but just this one time for just because y'all brought it up i wish that drake did with j cole did just so i could hear how people he would be murders oh my god he doesn't want to battle because he
Starting point is 00:13:08 doesn't even write his rhymes he doesn't even write his raps that's why he can't battle it would have been all kind of shit that people said but when cole does it because we all like cold it's oh he did the noble thing it was very noble of him to back out of that that got so ugly he knew where it was going so he didn't want any part of that He was, him and Kendrick are really friends. So why would he get into a battle with his friend? And what are we talking about, y'all? What's funny is as much as they would like me to give you pushback here.
Starting point is 00:13:39 If the roles were reversed the exact same, the result would be so. Oh, my God. If Drake said he wanted to back out for mental health reasons, you guys would be calling him an F word. We can't say. You would be calling him pussy every word under the sun. But that's not fair. See, and I don't want to have. this conversation because...
Starting point is 00:13:58 This happened already, though. We have to do this. Because when it happened, you sent him there saying they would be calling Drake this. They called Cole all those things. I know, but the narrative shifts, including myself. I'm also one that's saying I don't give a fuck anymore. I'm here for the music. And that would happen too.
Starting point is 00:14:12 If Drake did it, eventually it would get to the point where people like, I don't care. I just miss Drake music. No, no, no, no, I wouldn't. Okay. Demaris, you forgot what happened during the push of battle? He just stopped. He didn't apologize. He didn't delete no songs.
Starting point is 00:14:23 He just said, yo, people called. He did delete the song. He did delete the song. Jay Prince got in there and what song he deleted? He said there is a song that exists and Jay Prince. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm talking about a song that he put out and then deleted. Gotcha.
Starting point is 00:14:35 That's what I'm saying. People killed him for that for just stopping the battling. Like this was like, you know what? Hey, I just about to go for. This is what I'm saying. Like, so he didn't do nothing like what I wanted more rounds. This is what I'm saying. But nobody wants more rounds.
Starting point is 00:14:48 It's the noble thing that Cole deleted. His, his, his, his, his, his, and he backed out. Like, that's noble of Cole. I don't think nobody thinks it's noble. They just said it. Somebody just said it yesterday. I think it's the time that I think it's just that people just don't care anymore. People just want.
Starting point is 00:15:02 And this Cole is able to be able to do that because Cole doesn't drop music all the time. So we miss him. If we had to miss Drake, people also will be like, yo, I don't care. I miss Drake's music. Also, Cole has never made himself the enemy. Like, Drake leaned into I'm the bad guy. So I think that has something to do as well. But I'm with you.
Starting point is 00:15:24 It would be completely different. That's all I'm saying. If roles are reversed. But I want to hear music from all of them. But listen, I'm on the side of Cole. I don't care anymore. I just want to hear good music. And I'm on the side of even if I think Drake lost,
Starting point is 00:15:36 I big up anybody that gets in the ring for a fight. Like, Drake to me, can say whatever he wants. Because every person that's ever said a fucking word about him, he has said something back. You got in the ring. I don't care if you win or lose, you got in the ring. Listen, man, I'm always on the side of hearing rappers rap and not podcast. Sorry, I read some crazy.
Starting point is 00:15:58 So yeah. No, but did you listen to the letter to Dame from Cam? He premiered it on Talk with Flea. Yes, I did. What did you think of it? I know it's a very small portion of the world that cares about the Cam versus Dame thing, but I'm one of those people. So I watched it.
Starting point is 00:16:19 I'm just sad, man. I felt like that wasn't in no way a white flag, but I feel like it was. it was an olive branch where if Dane was like, nah, you're right, they could debt it based off what he put out there. Or it could make it worse. It's Dane's decision on where to go from here. Cam played that so perfectly that it wasn't like, yo,
Starting point is 00:16:41 everything's cool. We know what Dane was going. But that I thought it was a very mature response from Cam about everything. I'm leaving up to you, Dame. And I know Cam and I know Cam is petty. and I know Cam understands people, and I think he knows that while that was mature, Dane could interpret it in a bad way
Starting point is 00:17:02 and crash out about it and make himself look crazier because Cam is being mature in this whole day. You put me on. I will never take away from that. You literally put me on my whole career. I've known you since the second grade. He gave him all the props in the world,
Starting point is 00:17:15 but he knows how to trigger Dane with little things, and this was art of war shit to me. Cam looks like the mature one, knowing that this may make Dame crash out. Whereas Dame could, Dane to me wouldn't look crazy if he replied to this like, Cam, I thought that was solid.
Starting point is 00:17:33 Well, the thing is, we don't have to do this shit. Dame and Cam, it's never going to, and that Dame has spoke to this. It's never really beef. Like they're not, you know, it's just, there's too much history. It's too,
Starting point is 00:17:43 it's too person between them. And I feel like Cam still has love and respect for Dame. I just feel like he feels like, you know, damn, go here, you know, and it's kind of like, you know, with Cam, with his, his bars, basically
Starting point is 00:17:58 what he's saying, it's like, it kind of was disappointing to get to this point. He said to the first bar. I've known you since grade two. If you told me it got to this place, I thought you'd be smoking K2. Exactly. So it's like, it's like, damn. Like, how did it get to this? But, um, if it's one thing we knew, though, well, we do know is, Damien will be on a podcast
Starting point is 00:18:14 tour as a result of that. He's going to go sit on every platform he can to address that. He has his own platform. America New. Yeah, shout out of America New. Yeah, because I don't want Dame to feel like we're not plugging, you know what I'm saying? It's platform. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:29 I mean, I've always told you if Biggs was cool with it, I would always have Dame on here. And that Biggs ain't one of those type of people, but I have too much respect for Biggs to ever, if there was a disagreement to have Dame up here. But, I mean, I would love to talk to Dave. But again, that would solely be, and which is unfair to even put that on Biggs. But that's where my mind will go right away. Yeah. That I would love to have Dame on here. wanted to be on here.
Starting point is 00:18:55 But that would have to be a big school. I want to talk to Dame, but it would have to be, we would have to have a conversation off my first. Off first, yeah. Yeah, like, because it's just too, you know, Dame is obviously, you know, it's like family. You know what I'm saying? And I always have a certain level of respect for Dame, no matter what him and my brothers are going through, it's still always a certain amount of respect that I always have for him.
Starting point is 00:19:17 But yeah, I would love to have a conversation with him because Dame is a brilliant mind. I think sometimes his approach is just a little off and maybe maybe connected to too much emotion sometimes. But I mean, we can't take nothing away from Dames' brilliance and his genius on a lot of the things that he was ahead of, a lot of things that he accomplished. You know, and even emotions sometimes too
Starting point is 00:19:40 because he was emotional for his business, for his artist. Well, you know my birthday. We're emotional people. Yeah. I think Dane and I have the same birthday. Yes. Yes, absolutely. Y'all do.
Starting point is 00:19:49 No, actually, I think, I think his is May 5th. May 5th. Okay. I think his is May 5th. But yeah. Me Dame and Chris Brown, fourth and fifth. What a crew.
Starting point is 00:19:57 That was gay. But yeah. That'd be a great birthday weekend. Oh, no, that'd be one of the wildest birthday weekends. But I do want to talk to Dame, though, man. Just because, you know, again, I, Dame is, you know, forever in our culture. He's done some amazing things. I think, you know, where he is now, he kind of gets, you know, the bad end of things because
Starting point is 00:20:16 people feel like, oh, he's broke. And, you know, he didn't create another. He said he created Jay Z will create another one and all of these things. And, you know, I know I'm privy to a lot of the truth behind a lot of things that obviously I will never talk about publicly. But it would still be a good conversation, you know, that I would want to have with Dane because I do feel like, because a lot of people don't know Dane personally or have the information that I have, they don't know how to ask certain things.
Starting point is 00:20:43 And they don't know what to ask Dane. You know what I'm saying? So I do want to have a conversation with Dane. But it would have to be a one off camera first because I haven't seen Dane. in some years. And I just want to, you know, just have that type of conversation as a little brother to big brother. Like, yo, what's up, man?
Starting point is 00:20:57 Like, you know what's going on? And just have that talk with him. And then turn the cameras off and let Dane be exactly who he is. But, yeah, I'm always open to have Dane on the show. Yeah. And a salute to America New. And I saw a Desco Bowling Alley. He opened.
Starting point is 00:21:10 I saw his wife working with kids there. It looks like a cool setup that the guy going on. Yeah. That would be a cool retirement plan. Bowling Alley? I would own a bowling alley. Just open up and just bowl every day. I don't know if anyone bowls anymore, but like that would be a fun thing to do.
Starting point is 00:21:23 And I like what they have a stage over there. Like, remember when bowling alleys were a thing? Yeah. Like what happened? I mean, people's idea of fun and what they wanted to do on their free time changed. Yeah. Really what people did and that was just something that I like. I think people started traveling more.
Starting point is 00:21:42 Because I've noticed that over the years. A lot of people traveling up. I would go to a bowling alley in Sweden. See how the Swedes bowl? That just sounds funny. But yeah. Like in Australia, I'd like to see if the ball move the other way, the same way the toilet shit does.
Starting point is 00:21:55 It's a show. It's a show in there somewhere, traveling the world and introducing bowling to people who have never seen it before? I think professional bowlers are the most trash athletes on the planet. Why? There's no reason why you don't bowl a perfect score every time. If there was a professional free throw shooters, like you had nothing to do whatsoever but just shoot free throws.
Starting point is 00:22:18 There's no parts of the game at all. You don't even have to go get fouled. The game is shooting free throws. People will still miss. Yeah. Now 98 out of 100 if your whole life's goal was just shooting free throws. There's no way you don't bowl a perfect score. I know people in Hudson Lanes right now bowling perfect scores off two shots of Hennessy.
Starting point is 00:22:39 Yeah, but it's different when it's competition involved. Like, you know, it's just different elements to it. It's mental. Because we're talking about just a, we talk about a fraction off, and you could, you could, you can not knock down. It's your life's work. Yeah, but a lot of people have life's work that they're not perfect guys. Everyone's quiet.
Starting point is 00:22:55 At Duke, at the free throws go like this. It's dead quiet. Golf is very difficult. One of the harder games. And it's quiet. Bowling, everyone's dead quiet.
Starting point is 00:23:06 It's the same. There's no regulation difference between the shit in my hood and professional bowling. It's the same thing. Yeah, but it's still. They at least move the three point line from college to the NBA. Yeah, but it's still,
Starting point is 00:23:17 you know, professional bowlers should be. bowling from the rafters. Yeah, but you're not perfect, though. So while you think you're perfect and you think you have this. You think you think my depressive mind thinks I'm saying. Nobody's perfect. So you can see every now and then you wouldn't bowl a perfect game.
Starting point is 00:23:31 Shit happens. Yeah. But the fact that a 7-10 split even exists in your worlds when your life's work is taking this bowl and throwing it 20 feet down to some pins, you're the worst athlete on earth. No, I can't see. And I watch professional. Rory is crazy. You just, why are you shitting on bowling? Have you seen?
Starting point is 00:23:48 professional pool players and the shit that they could do when it's their life's work. What's what's more difficult? The playing pool is probably more difficult for sure. They could shoot if we had a pool table here and put another pool table outside on the street on top of my car. They could shoot that shit over through the window down, up down, go right in. Hit the A ball. But these guys don't pull a perfect game.
Starting point is 00:24:13 But you're thinking about you're not factoring how much time it takes to get to be able to do that though. That takes a lot of... It's their life's work. Yeah, but I'm saying... And these guys' life's work is a free throw. Yeah, but even when it's your life's work, you're going to miss. You're not per-nobody's perfect word. You're going to miss.
Starting point is 00:24:27 Now, you might not miss again for another 90 shots, but you'll miss. Yeah, it happens. So why aren't all professional bowling things like 95% perfect game? Why is it not triple overtime every time? They are free high-scoring, yeah. Yeah, for the most point they are, though. And you ask that bowling, why you over here, judging? I'm not a professional.
Starting point is 00:24:50 Bowling stream. Oh yeah, we should do that. Go bowling and streaming. I love bowling. Not a professional. I make mistakes. But it's like the only sport that you can like eat nachos and do it. It's fucking great.
Starting point is 00:25:01 You can drink and do it and not be judged. Like it's, it's, I love bowling. And I watch professional bowling. Demaris, have you ever, have you ever given the draws up after a bowling date? That used to be one of my go-toes. Take a bowling and then chewed her like a bowling? ball love it pull all three fingers in and
Starting point is 00:25:19 I was about to say same it's the same thing this this right here and I'm throwing my leg the same way yeah this is it's the same you'll kick your leg up that same way I'm swinging my leg right behind her
Starting point is 00:25:31 slide down the lane thinking more than you do what were mall I saw your 2026 vision board and the number one thing on there was upgrading to the all new iPhone 17 Pro and just huge letters on your vision board it's happening just plastered on your wall
Starting point is 00:25:49 It's happening. But I know in that vision board, you were very worried about the traffic or getting to the store to transfer all your data. That was just crazy on your vision board. Like, how will I transfer the data? I had data on my vision. Good news, though. Starting point is 00:27:30 I know what you're thinking. What the hell does George Bush got to do with Little Kim? Well, you can find out on the Look Back at it podcast. I'm Sam Jek. And I'm Alex English. Each episode, we pick a here, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it. Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill,
Starting point is 00:27:48 waxing all about crack in the 80s. To be clear, 84 is big to me, not just because of crack. I'm down to talk about crack on day, but just so you all know. I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack. So I'm starting to see that there's a through line. We also have AIDS on the table right now. Thank you for finishing that sentence. Yes.
Starting point is 00:28:09 I don't think there's a more important year for black people. Really? Yeah. For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history. Listen to look back at it on the IHeart Radio app, Apple. podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. I went and sat on the little ottoman in front of him. Hi, Dad.
Starting point is 00:28:29 And just when I said that, my mom comes out of the kitchen. She says, I have some cookies and milk. This is his badass convict. Right. Just finished five years. I'm going to have cookies and milk at my mom. Yeah. On the Seno Show podcast, each episode invites you into a raw, unfiltered conversation.
Starting point is 00:28:50 about recovery, resilience, and redemption. On a recent episode, I sit down with actor, cultural icon Danny Trail, talk about addiction, transformation, and the power of second chances. The entire season two is now available to bench, featuring powerful conversations with the guests like Tiffany Addish,
Starting point is 00:29:08 Johnny Knoxville, and more. I'm an alcoholic. And without this trouble, I'm going to die. Open your free I-Heart radio app. Search the CETO show, And listen now. I feel like it was a little bit unbelievable until I really start making money. It's Financial Literacy Month, and the podcast Eating While Broke is bringing real conversations about money, growth, and building your future.
Starting point is 00:29:37 This month, hear from top streamer Zoe Spencer and venture capitalist Lakeisha Landrum Pierre, as they share their journeys from starting out to leveling up. If I'm outside with my parents and then seeing all these people come up to me for pictures, it's like, what? But today now, obviously, it's like 100%. They believe everything. But at first it was just like, you got to go get a real job. There's an economic component to communities thriving. If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail.
Starting point is 00:30:06 And what I mean by fell is they don't have money to pay for food. They cannot feed their kids. They do not have homes. Communities don't work unless there's money flowing through them. Listen to Eating While Broke from the Black Effect Podcast Network on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get. It's your podcast. When you listen to podcasts about AI and tech and the future of humanity, the hosts always act like they know what they're talking about and they are experts at everything.
Starting point is 00:30:32 Here at the Nick Dick and Poll show, we're not afraid to make mistakes. What Kugler did that I think was so unique. He's the writer-director. Who do you think he is? I don't know. You mean the like the president? You think Canada has a president. You think China has a president.
Starting point is 00:30:50 Those law cruise that. God, I love that thing. I use it all the time. I wrap it in a blanket and sing to it at night. It's like the old Polish saying, not my monkeys, not my circus. Yep. It was a good one. I like that saying.
Starting point is 00:31:05 It is an actual Polish saying. It is an actual Polish saying. Better version of Play Stupid Games, win stupid prizes. Yes. Which, by the way, wasn't Taylor Swift who said that for the first time. I actually thought it was. I got that wrong. Listen to the Nick Dick and Paul show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:31:23 What was in women's brains when we were trying to pull like the bowling date in our early 20s? There was not. That child was broke. It's a cheap date. Y'all wasn't thinking we was broke back. Not not like. Not in high school. He said in our 20s.
Starting point is 00:31:44 Even in your 20s, he wasn't thinking he was broke. Brolin date was the brook. Unless we were like in a relationship. Like the first three dates should not be bowling. Really? So we should be the first three days. I think that is in like the first three date mix. Yeah, it's definitely it.
Starting point is 00:31:57 I'm down. with it, but... It's a lot of downtime to talk and get to know each other. You have the subtle fun competition, flirty shit. You can look at her ass when she's bowling. Like, there's a lot of positive things. But women don't be liking bowling like that.
Starting point is 00:32:11 That's a y'all thing. That's what I'm saying. Like, women don't really, like, have you ever... I know some women go bowling and they really, really enjoy it. Me, I'm very competitive. I really, really like bowling dates because I'm super competitive. But a lot of girls don't like that shit. So it's like, why are you taking me somewhere I don't like just for what? What is the I do first date? What is the
Starting point is 00:32:27 deal first three dates for women. I won't say four women. I'll say for me. I like a game. I like a gaming date maybe as the third one. Third or second one. My longest relationship was we went up Dave and Busters on the first date. So I like a gaming date. Dave and Busters date is still okay with women, right? Not most women.
Starting point is 00:32:44 You know how expensive David Busters is now? It's okay with women as long as if they get a high score. You get them a Michelle bag. That's when it's okay. I'm not arguing with you. Of course. Of course you're not. You would love to see it happen. You can't argue with that.
Starting point is 00:32:59 If that's the type of woman I'm dating, we're not going to Dave and Busters, I'll just buy the bag and we'll fuck. Which would never happen. I'll just be, I'll be betting all types of crazy shit. I be like, oh, if I make this point,
Starting point is 00:33:07 I'm one of them people. We're doing crazy bets. It's not worth it. Just don't. But why I can't ever say, if I, if I beat you a Connect 4, I get that pussy tonight.
Starting point is 00:33:18 Why I can never be that? Because I'm not losing. I'm not losing Connect 4. If it's Connect 4 on some ass, you're losing. So why I, why I forget. I say that, then it's like, girl, this nigga thirsty.
Starting point is 00:33:30 But if you be like, yo, if I beat you right now, you got to take me to Chanel tomorrow. We're supposed to be like, all right, bet. Also, losing and... Losing and connect four is funny. What? Losing and Connect Four is funny. Why is that funny?
Starting point is 00:33:44 Everyone of our age and intelligence, like every game should end in a stalemate. Like, losing and Connect Four at 35 is crazy. It's not, though. Kids need to lose and connect four. Now, losing that Tick-Tick-Tow while. this fuck at this age. Nah, you just got to go
Starting point is 00:33:59 top left, top right, and you win. Don't tell them, Rory. Shut the fuck up, Josh. Don't leak that strategy. Who doesn't know that? Like, what grown person doesn't know that by now? Losing and connect for is only off neglect in, like, drunk game night.
Starting point is 00:34:14 There's no way you focused in lose and connect for. I remember I was playing this girl, because you know, you got you got to connect four on your phone with the games. So this girl's like, oh, if I beat you, you got to send me a dick pick. You got lost on purpose. That was happening anyway.
Starting point is 00:34:30 I was like, oh, damn, you got me. Here. I was like, oh, damn, you got me. I don't really do this, but attachment one. Then we're going to save the photo and that shit from two years ago. This is your best word. No, I take fresh work. I take fresh shots.
Starting point is 00:34:45 Work? I appreciate that. Yeah, I don't do that. Every woman is not created equal. Okay. There's like tears of what. Yeah, yeah. You send up videos?
Starting point is 00:34:54 Nah, I don't do that. I don't do that. I don't believe you. I edge. How you sent an edge video? Like, nah, not yet. And the video cuts? Yeah, you don't get that.
Starting point is 00:35:06 You don't get that. I was about to. I was about to back it out, but I stopped. I sent a nude and then I sent an ad at the end of it. You got to go ad free. You got to go ad free. You got to up your subscription, baby. You got to go ad free.
Starting point is 00:35:25 You know what I'm saying? I think should we change our Jay Z tier on Patreon? the more edging to you go ad free baby you're not sending nut videos this is not horny and weird I'm such a woman because I why am I mad at the answer
Starting point is 00:35:39 to a question I asked like what you wanted the answer to be yes no not not I wanted him to not answer I'm mad I know that about him now even though I ask the question nah you can't finish
Starting point is 00:35:51 like you know can't finish myself not on camera the thing with nut videos that's just the post nut clarity is 10 times worse because you have your phone
Starting point is 00:36:01 in your hand and with a good nut video you can't like clean up in real time. You kind of just got to let it flow. Yeah. So yeah, that post nut clarity
Starting point is 00:36:12 is the most shameful you'll ever feel. And then what is... You know, editing your nut video is you probably have to get horny again to do that. Ah. Postnut clarity and then putting edits
Starting point is 00:36:24 to something is the sickest thing of one. And I'm a terrible person because I get a nut video and I'm going to leave you on red for at least an hour. See, that's when I'm at your door with a wild, greasy palm Did you see what I just said? Touching all your door knobs, yeah. iPhone screen all fucked up.
Starting point is 00:36:45 Yeah, you're not going to do me like that. I'm not one of them now. You just leave the risky test like just on red? That's really evil. It depends. I've done it to men when I was mad at them. Like when I was mad at them. Oh, yeah, send me another video.
Starting point is 00:36:59 You do it now. because they think like this is them making it up to me because I'm mad and I just leave my for a hour. If a girl is mad at me and says that, I'm going to immediately think I'm being set up for something. Not that, not that type of mad. Not that type of mad where you would think I would leak it or something like that. No, not like, I'm just in general, I'll be like, well, down to like when I've been in relationships and she's mad at me and starts cooking.
Starting point is 00:37:20 And like, oh, you want something. I'm like, what you put in the food? Like, I don't try. No, it's a whole different energy. I ate right before I got me? You eat first. Hey, right before I got here. Damaris, is it true that you can tell how much a guy likes you, by the way he kiss you?
Starting point is 00:37:36 Because this girl was telling me, you don't really like me. I was like, why are you saying that? She was like, I can tell about the way you kiss me. And I was like, what? You're not a passionate. How were you, well, how were you kissing her? I thought I was giving her my best work. I thought I was giving her my best love Jones.
Starting point is 00:37:50 You know what I'm saying? But apparently she felt like I didn't like that at all. I was like, what did you mean? That was the is it in version of kissing. Yeah. Oh, damn. Like, were you like pecking? Was there a tongue?
Starting point is 00:38:01 Yeah, it was all of that. Face touching. Pecking public, tongue in, you know, behind closed doors. That type of thing. I think she wanted me to like tongue down in holes. I'm not doing that. You don't do that? You don't do the tongue-in-
Starting point is 00:38:11 I don't do the tongue-kiss in public. I'm not doing that. I'm not doing that. It's just like, it's just too much. You don't like her that much. No, I like them, but that's just like, I could be madly in love with you and I'm not tongue-kishing you in public. Like, that's just not doing that.
Starting point is 00:38:24 Like, while we're outside standing on the corner waiting for the light to change, You want me to tongue you down right here on what else we're supposed to do? No, I'm not tongue you now. I'll kiss you. You know what I'm saying? Kiss you on your neck and on your cheek and, you know, pet kiss you on the lips. I'll tongue you down.
Starting point is 00:38:36 That's probably, well, that's probably why you should talk like to go down. I'm ready. I'm ready, ready. Like, the blood is flowing. I'm not going to do that and then we got to walk to Target.
Starting point is 00:38:45 What are we doing? Like, I'm ready to go back to the cring in Target? No, hell no. Get me to the house. But it's like building that anticipation. Like, just like how we said to all day, date, you have tongue.
Starting point is 00:38:56 kissing throughout the all-day day-day. You know when you get home, the panties just sliding off like a seal. All that blue miss making out. Like a seal. You are such a freak. Like a seal? What's wrong with you? I'm just seeing it.
Starting point is 00:39:09 You would only know how, you know, ever, you've seen the seal slide into the water before. Like, you see exactly how they. Like, DeMaris had to study that. Like, she knows she studied that. I'm just at the end. You know what that reminds me up? You know what they reminds me up? When I had them thongs on that night.
Starting point is 00:39:23 I'm just saying it builds anticipation. So that's why you're. supposed to do things like that in public. Like it's like a I can't wait to get you home type thing. A peck. I'm not thirsty to get home from the peck. Like you got to make me woozy. You got to make me lightheaded.
Starting point is 00:39:38 To get you home? I'm just saying like it'll, that's when you're like ready. That sounds like I might be on fuck at the podium next month or tomorrow. I did not lightheaded. Whoa. I want you to be very clear headed. Fuck that.
Starting point is 00:39:49 No. I'm just saying. So I understand why she would think that that you don't really like. But I liked her though. Like I really liked that. Well, did you explain to her that you're just not that guy? Because my question before you answer was going to be all men are different. Some men are not like a bitch, Rory, and tongue kiss her to party in front of all their friends.
Starting point is 00:40:05 That's what I said. I said, how could you say that? I know guys that don't like girls and they tongue them down and they don't like those girls. So that's just like a stupid analogy. Because you tongue me down too quickly, I don't know you don't like me. You just do this way by. See? Why is your tongue in my mouth on it?
Starting point is 00:40:20 Like, you just met me. Like, please don't get it away from it. I feel like I've known you my whole life. You're such a white boy. Like that's y'all shit. Tonk kissing? Mono is y'all shit. Y'all love mono.
Starting point is 00:40:33 White boys love mono. They do. They catch mono at least every quarter. And then blame it on the weather. Yeah, yeah. But I mean, yes, all right. I'll play into the joke a bit.
Starting point is 00:40:43 Yes, I will tongue kiss early. But like my passionate kiss, that takes some time. I'm not a whore. What's the different? What's the different? Thank you, baby. It's a certain face, face touch, handholds. Show me.
Starting point is 00:40:56 It's just touch your face. Touch your face. Touch your face. Touch your face. Touching your own face when you're making out. Touch your face.
Starting point is 00:41:03 Touching your face like home alone. I've never caressed my own face in my entire life. Like what is it? It's a. Do it to the basketball. It's crazy. Do it to the basketball. We have to draw a line in content.
Starting point is 00:41:19 A line needs to be drawn when it comes to content. I'm here to push the boundaries with you guys. Like what do you do? Do you do the chin cup? Oh, I do. definitely a gentle throat grabbing a seed. If she receives that well and I see if I'm dealing with a real freak. I'm just going to say grab the token.
Starting point is 00:41:35 It's a lot of testing the waters to see what she likes type of time. I grab the throat. But it's a lot of hand holding certain grab. Not so much sexual of like tities trying to go there. Like we're focused just on making out. Making out is not just to get to me eating your pussy. Like we're going to take our time here and make out. Yeah, I grabbed the throat to make sure.
Starting point is 00:41:55 what her pronouns are. Do you think... What do you think they would be? I don't know. We're just going to check, though. I think before that, you should maybe grab a handhold down there and see what's going on.
Starting point is 00:42:08 Let's go right to it. If that's your journey, I'm not here to judge you, I think... I'm all showing y'all ass for YouTube. You know, on the... Damara, so on our Netflix call this morning, right? They had, like, the deck showing everything, like how the interface is
Starting point is 00:42:26 gonna look, this and that, and they get to all, they get to the podcast page with all the other podcasts that are here. They get to ours in like the main one and it says dating fluid men and women. Mind you, all the other pods are like the most compelling things ever. That's not compelling to you? I'd click on it. Like, like, we're like researched history and sports and all this amazing things of literature. And then it's just us like, yo, you like fucking fluid guys.
Starting point is 00:42:56 I like it fucking fool guys oh the title okay baby dude this is how you you know what you want to go back to the hospital you have to stop driving way you know what I was going
Starting point is 00:43:11 you know I was going to send you one day but you didn't ask you a phone you remember the part and uh what's love got to do with it when Ike was in the ambulance with it he told the bitch if you die I kill you I was going to say you that clip Yo, man, I was definitely about to see you that clip.
Starting point is 00:43:30 Like, I know she's going to be crying. Yo, when we get on, like, the major streaming platform, I need you to stop threatening my life. What? Nah, come on. I have a thousand percent. I didn't mean it. He was just saying, like, come on. Worry texts me that.
Starting point is 00:43:43 He said, if you die, I kill you. Yeah. Oh, you texted that? I've texted. I was going to see you. Every health scare she's had, I've texted that time. Yeah, I was going to see you to clip. And, like, it wasn't for laughs.
Starting point is 00:43:51 Like, I'll fucking kill you if you die. You know, being annoyed with me because I didn't. die and I like can't show up to work. It's crazy. Like selfish. What's wrong with you? No, I was doing it for the culture. It was like the culture needs you.
Starting point is 00:44:03 Anime. Like, got to get these records. You know what I'm saying? And I even brought it up in the meeting like on the Zoom when they were doing their presentation. And they were like, well, that's what our metadata data gave us. Oh. That title.
Starting point is 00:44:15 Okay. I was like, let me see the data. Let me, let me highlight meta real quick. How yeah, A shit, figure this out. This is going to be fun dealing with the Netflix execs. Oh, it's going to be a lot of fun. I'm going to miss the YouTube comments calling me a fat bitch. It was-
Starting point is 00:44:34 You're not even fat, though. I'm going to miss YouTube comments. YouTube comments are a very toxic place, but I'm going to miss them. I mean, on clips, they'll still do this for you. Yeah, true. No, but I mean, despite there not being a comment section yet with Netflix, we still have our Discord where we get actively disrespectful, and no one's going to see it.
Starting point is 00:44:53 It's way more fun in our Discord when it comes to commenting. Like YouTube, even if you make a fake page, it's still there. Discord is way more fun to comment. Patreon, you can comment. Our Twitter community, you can comment. There'll be plenty of places for us to interact and you guys can shit on us. And tell us how much you despise us. And all of that will be fine.
Starting point is 00:45:12 Don't worry. You just don't have to. And you can still do it on our clips on YouTube. Like you can get your whole dissertation, whatever you want. Your op-eds can go right there. And if that's not enough, call and leave a voicemail. Yeah. And yeah, voicemails.
Starting point is 00:45:25 Like, I want to hear some of y'all voices with the hate. Yeah. Because y'all be saying funny shit, and I feel like if you delivered it vocally, it could be even funnier. Like, voicemails don't always need to be advice. Like, you just curse us out. Yeah. Just give us a talking to. Yeah, that's what we need.
Starting point is 00:45:37 Rory, like, getting cursed out. He got that type of fetish. Just call him a curse him out. I'm sensitive. I'm sensitive. Did you not just hear about tourists and dame and every, like, we're sensitive people. We have emotion. No, I don't want to be cursed out.
Starting point is 00:45:50 You think I have that type of kink? you don't like being cursed out like when you don't like when you don't care about the curse out I'll be cracking up somebody curse me out oh no sometimes I'm about yeah okay all right well when you position it that way yes I think curse outs are hilarious when you don't care because they don't even know you laughing at them
Starting point is 00:46:08 the whole time which makes them even more mad and a lot of people don't know how to curse I hate when a motherfucker I don't know how to string their words together like I don't like an unexperienced curse who don't know how to curse a lot of people don't know they sound mad weird cursing like I'm like yo you don't know like get your shit off?
Starting point is 00:46:24 I would like to hear a guy cursing out, baby, D. Like, I just would love to hear what he's saying. I know they be giving it to you. I think it's probably, like, frustrated to curse outs that have a lot of truth in it. No, that's why I want to hear it. It's not. Yeah, yeah. I don't think she deals with the guys that have, like, overly emotional that will just
Starting point is 00:46:43 curse her out for the fuck of it or gaslight. I think they get so frustrated and just tell her the truth over the last five years of how they feel. That's why I want to hear it. I want to hear a guy curse out. Baby, save one of your curse out voice notes. Save one of them. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:57 Just let me hear. I just want to hear what he's saying when he getting off. And even with her ego, I feel like there's such good curse outs. You know that meme where they're like, I think she does that a lot in the curse out. Like, she wants to start talking like, that was a good point. She only do that if she like him. Like if she like him, she'll let she'll do that. She'll be like, all right, let him get his shit off.
Starting point is 00:47:15 I'll ramp some eye up and then when they curse me out. I'd be like, I really need you to lower your voice. Why are you yelling at me? Oh, my God. I hate that type. It's supposed to be us against the problem. I hate that type. Us against the problem.
Starting point is 00:47:25 Oh, I hate that type of woman. That type of woman? Oh, get away from me. Not me versus you. It's us against the problem. Why are you talking to me like that? I understand that you're frustrated, but you really need to lower your voice.
Starting point is 00:47:36 The fact that women even use the word gas light bothers me a lot. That's their number one trick. A girl is throwing flames on a fire. And then when you react to the fire that is now set in your living room, they now want to exit and play the victim. Like they didn't just like this fire. and you wouldn't react to a fire happening in your house. A woman told me to go to therapy only because I told her to go to therapy.
Starting point is 00:48:01 You guys should go together. No. If we were a couple, I would do that. That's for couples, though, right? It's way more fun with a bitch you know. That's way more fun. Were you really trying to fix the problem? See, that's the problem.
Starting point is 00:48:16 Going to therapy with somebody that you, we have a sketch about this, but going to therapy with somebody you're not in a relationship with is fucking insane. That'd be the ones you need to go to therapy for. Oh, situation. therapy, that could be a whole series. Like, that's a reality show. Like, getting to know her through therapy? Like, when we and Ms. Pat has her judge show and everything, like,
Starting point is 00:48:34 yeah. Doing situation ship therapy, like, y'all are not together. Would be the funniest thing on earth. It's going to a therapy on the first date. You think that would be fun? I think that would be, I would do that. Have you ever done it? That's my type of bag.
Starting point is 00:48:45 I would like that. That just sounds so tricky to me. Because, like, you might learn about her deep trauma. Like, like, holy shit. Like, is that first date shit? Fuck it. We here. Nah, not first date. I get it.
Starting point is 00:48:58 It's a podcast. If a woman asks you to go to therapy on the first date, you should run this so far. As fun? So far. There's nothing fun about that. Okay. So I'm not talking about going to therapy and being serious. I would go to therapy with somebody on the first date to fuck with the therapist.
Starting point is 00:49:14 I think that that would be fun. Okay. Like, let's go to therapy. But you can do that with the waitress in a respectful way. I mean, I feel like therapy is more fun. It's more to lose. You have spent $200 on dinner anyway. Let's go to therapy.
Starting point is 00:49:25 saying $200 is going to be way more fun. Yeah, but at least my stomach is full after like a $200 dinner. You were vegan. I will feed you some carrots. That's $5. You'll be fooled in. Why are you still throwing carrots?
Starting point is 00:49:36 I took you to a beautiful vegan spot. You loved the food. You did. You did. See, like, I eat good. Stop doing that. See, you try carrots. No, it's not just carrots.
Starting point is 00:49:44 We didn't have one fucking carrot when we went out to eat, did we? I was sure they had. It was no carrots. We didn't have no carrots. There was no fucking carrots. My bad. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:49:52 See, I'll stop trying to shit. I'll feed you some mushrooms. Well, thank you. I love mushrooms. Thank you. I don't know. I think we should do that. But one of y'all, when you are going on. I'm not dating. Therapy on the first date. Yeah, but go to therapy on the first date. We can call money-hundred better help on the first date, like on the three-way. As long as you use code roaring mall.
Starting point is 00:50:08 Because, you know, it's really rough around Valentine's Day. Around the holidays, it gets rough. Do you guys have Valentine's? No. Mara. Oh, I hate a nigga with a daughter, y'all. I hate a nigga with a mother. Makes every time.
Starting point is 00:50:22 You got his daughter. What you want to do? I need to show her what it's supposed to be like to be treated on Valentine's Day. Mm-hmm. No, baby, I don't have one yet. His mom. Well, that's every day. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:50:37 But you're not having a Valentine's Day. Okay. Well, I hope you find one. I hope one finds me. That's usually how the stars work. Don't do that to me. My bad. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:50:47 I'm sorry. Rest and peace to combat, Jack. They used to have a therapist on their show pretty often. even tax eventually I think did an episode with that therapist as well like should we bring a therapist to the show one day
Starting point is 00:51:01 well we did like that at your house he looked black ass things that was not a therapist that was Edens man's that was not guys I'm talking about
Starting point is 00:51:10 I know therapist like I'll have my like matter of fact it was heck it was black face hector no the black face
Starting point is 00:51:21 ended up on my couch Oh my God. Oh, I hate cool therapists. You know, Rory's cows look like Jalen Brown dope for loose ball. That's hilarious. But no, maybe we talk to better help and get a real therapist to do a segment. Because I think this pod could use some therapy. Like amongst each other, not like focus on your individual life just as a pod and how we operate and, you know, you undercutting Demaris and her being mean to me.
Starting point is 00:51:51 Like, I think there's things we can work through. Okay. Yeah, I'm with that. I'm going to having a therapist on. Why not? Let's do it. I just want to see you in therapy. It may need to be a two-part episode where one episode is dedicated just to you. And then DeMaris and I can be like part two or whatever. Yeah, no, let's have a therapist on. I'm down.
Starting point is 00:52:11 We do need to get back to our Spreadum segment sponsored by Hard Rock Bet. Spread them. More. Well, all right. Is Mall more spreaded than me? I know it's not a word. Because I'm up 6-2 right now. Mall is 4-4.
Starting point is 00:52:26 So, I don't know, is Mall more spread out than I am at this point? No, 4-4 is closed cheeks. Yeah, we've been doing this the last two weeks with the NFL playoffs. I am 6 and 2 with my bets so far with the spread. Mall is 4-4-4. We are now at the AFC Championships and the NFC Championship. Patriots minus 5 at the Bronx. And then we have the Rams at Seahawks minus two and a half.
Starting point is 00:52:57 We can start with the Patriots. This one I don't really know is much of a debate. I think the Patriots should be minus 21. Broncos don't have a quarterback. I don't know. We could get a Tom Brady experience with the Broncos. Everyone's saying that the Patriots is going to steamroll the Broncos. Who knows?
Starting point is 00:53:22 I don't know. I'm still taking the Patriots minus five. but we could have a game. It's mile high. Drake May. Maybe he doesn't know how to play up there. I don't know. I'm taking the Patriots minus five.
Starting point is 00:53:34 I think everyone on Earth is taking the Patriots minus five. Yeah. But this could be your time to take the bet with the Broncos. No. You know what? Can I double back? I know we make the rules here. I'm taking the Broncos, bro.
Starting point is 00:53:49 You're taking the Broncos. I think we may have some miracle in mile high. I think the Patriots are going to win a Super Bowl But I don't know I don't know if this is going to be the game That we think it could be Every now and then Every decade you get one of those random fucking games
Starting point is 00:54:08 Of like how did this happen? That is true, yeah And you know, because this is fun And we just have a punishment At the end of the AFC and NFC championships I'm going to take the risk here I'm gonna go Broncos Broncos with a plus five
Starting point is 00:54:23 Plus five Okay Yeah I'm taking the Patriots minus five I'll take that Watch the Patriots win just by a field goal And now you name it a thousand rappers Nah they're going to win by more than that It's gonna be a rough game
Starting point is 00:54:36 I think they're gonna blow the Broncos out But all right If it was Patriots at home Of course no matter what I do think Mile high may add something into it That's nothing out the Patriots That's no element that they're not used to Drake made
Starting point is 00:54:48 Has he played I don't think he's played Denver yet? Yeah, but I mean Denver, Boston is the weather that much different? The altitude, man. It's the mile high city. It's a mile. Keep the nose down on the floor. Where we're at right now, Denver is a mile above us. He spoke to Tom. He spoke to Tom. Keep the nose down. That's all. When you go to the mile high, keep the nose down. That's all. Nose low. You know, they put that clip up with Tom Brady doing that and somebody comments it. I don't think announcers are allowed to do this. Tom was teaching everybody all the
Starting point is 00:55:19 fundamental. Yeah, man. Keep the nose low. That's all. Um, this one is ironic, I think a bit more of a debate. Rams at Seahawks, Seahawks minus two and a half. Seahawks got super busy last week. I'm still taking the Seahawks in this one. I'll take the Rams. Okay, who do you think is going to win? Forget the spread.
Starting point is 00:55:47 The Rams. Okay. Yeah. I like the Rams. Low key I think the Rams might win the Super Bowl I listen man I didn't think they were going to beat the Bears so Patriots fan but I think like watching
Starting point is 00:56:02 watching the Rams like they just look like a Super Bowl winning team I wouldn't be mad at a Patriots Rams Super Bowl or Patriots Seahawks I'd like to see Patriots Seahawks just because we've had even though it's whole different squads tired of the Patriots Rams Super Bowl well we had Patriots Seahawks too
Starting point is 00:56:20 I know but that was so long ago Haven't we had like two Patriots Rams Super Bowl since? Like, and listen, the Pete Carroll, it was a fluke last time. Just hand the ball to the fucking, like, what are we doing? Give it to the Marchtime? Like, what are we doing? That was a fluke. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:36 So I'd like to see this Patriot squad and the Seahawks squad. I think it'd be great. If the Broncos somehow beat the Patriots, it's going to be a weird, weird Super Bowl, to say the least. But that is Spreadum, sponsored by Hard Rock Bet. Just to make it clear, I am up 16. two mall is 4-4. Yes. Which would mean that I would have to...
Starting point is 00:56:56 I still think no matter what I win here, so you're going to have to name it. If you lose both of these and I win both of these, then what? Yeah. Okay. All right. Put your game face on. Yeah, but if all right, but going to Super Bowl, we see what your man's did to your squad last time of the Super Bowl. That was a great joke.
Starting point is 00:57:16 Fuck yo. If it goes down Super Bowl, all right, cool. I would like to do a, during press week are a thousand rapper thing. So hopefully, you know, I end up winning this. A thousand rappers is crazy, but one of us going to have to do it.
Starting point is 00:57:31 Naming a thousand rappers. I can't name a thousand of anything. A thousand? And in the fine print, because Demaris was in the hospital, even though she signed off in this and doesn't know it, check with Brandy and Loyon. You have to eat 30 mozzarella sticks
Starting point is 00:57:44 while he names a thousand rappers. Why I had a mazarella stick in a minute, too. I think that'd be really good post-surgery to put all that cheese in your stomach. If you check with your doctor, I think that's like the remedy. Fried cheese and bread. And bread. After having a surgeon.
Starting point is 00:58:02 That's exactly what you need. But let's get to our friend of the show and guest right now. Starting point is 01:01:05 To be clear, 84 is big to me, not just because of crack. I'm down to talk about crack all day, but just so you all know. I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack. So I'm starting to see that there's a through line. We also have AIDS on the table right now. Thank you finishing that sentence. Yes. I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Starting point is 01:01:27 Really? Yeah. For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history. Listen to look back at it on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I went and sat on the little Ottoman in front of him. I said, hi, dad. But at first it was just like, you got to go get a real job.
Starting point is 01:03:14 There's an economic component to communities thriving. If there's not enough money and entrepreneurship happening in communities, they fail. And what I mean by fail is they don't have money to pay for food. They cannot feed their kids. They do not have homes. Communities don't work unless there's money. flowing through them. Listen to Eating While Broke from the Black Effect Podcast Network on the IHeart Radio app,

When you listen to podcasts about AI and tech and the future of humanity, the hosts always act like they know what they're talking about and they are experts at everything. Here, the Nick Dick and Poll show, we're not afraid to make mistakes. What Coogler did that I think was so unique. He's the writer-director. Who do you think he is? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:04:00 You meet the, like, the president? You think Canada has a president? You think China has a president? Los Angeles a Rosette. God, I love that thing. I use it all the time. I wrap it in a blanket and sing to it at night. It's like the old Polish saying, not my monkeys, not my circus.
Starting point is 01:04:19 Yep. It was a good one. I like that saying. It is an actual Polish saying. It is an actual poem. Better version of Play Stupid Games, win stupid prizes. Yes. Which, by the way, wasn't Taylor Swift, who said,
Starting point is 01:04:29 that for the first time. I actually, I thought it was. I got that wrong. Listen to the Nick, Dick, and Paul show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. All right, Roy, we are back. Instead of voicemails today, you know what I'm saying? I've been, I've been getting, having a few calls on my guy and I told him, I said, listen, man, I'm excited, man. This is long overdue. We got to get my guy up here on the show. So today we are joined by my man. People don't know it's a lot of personal, a lot of personal relationships here. We got my man Zip with the drip. Yes. Let's get to that.
Starting point is 01:05:05 Mr. Let's get to that. Mr. Let's get to that. Mr. Let's get to that. Yo, Zip, listen, man, first and foremost, it's long overdue. You know what I mean? I've been trying to get you up here for the longest. But I'm glad that you here. Thanks for having me. Thanks for having. You know what it is. But it's a lot of, we got a lot of personal, there's a lot of personal relationships between us, man.
Starting point is 01:05:26 You knew my brother, my brother, Barba Law. Rest of peace. Bobelaw. Cam said that in the song. Yeah, yeah. feeling that. And then my niece's father was a really close friend of yours.
Starting point is 01:05:35 Respect to Billy. Yeah, that was big bro, Billy Bang. You know what I'm saying? So, yeah, so we connect to do that. But away from that, I'm always been reaching out to you,
Starting point is 01:05:43 telling you, I love what you doing, building your platform, building your audience. You obviously have a lot of influence, a lot of niggas still in your sling out here, jacking your sling. I like that.
Starting point is 01:05:51 I like that. No, listen, that's a form of, you know, that's a head. That's a type. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, but speak to that because me and where we talk all the time. He's like, yo, Zip, this thing is funny, hilarious, a lot of charisma.
Starting point is 01:06:04 But what is it about you that people don't understand with what you're doing, with your platform? Like, what do you think is like the biggest thing people are like, y'all missing what I'm doing? I'm saying, like, anytime you tell the truth, you come off as a hater. That's a fact. Yeah. And then, like, you can't have an opinion about nothing. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:21 Today you're a hater. I'm a back in the day, you have to be saying, yo, I'm, you ain't supposed to be getting all that money. Yeah. Yeah. you hating on me but just saying like yo that shit is trash like I don't like you I don't like that maybe you just say I don't like that music I'm not into that oh you're a hate him
Starting point is 01:06:35 yeah yeah yeah so I just be trying to give people like an alternative way to look at shit you know I'm saying I feel like I think differently than most people like the popular opinion I'm middle finger to that I don't like that I love the fact that you say that you don't have no no picks on the internet like you don't pick and choose you don't pick sides because I don't know nobody right you is right and wrong
Starting point is 01:06:54 and that's the line you stand the niggies I was up north with I I ain't whiling them up on the internet. Everybody else gets out, because that's what I know. Yeah. It seemed like the industry, niggas, they don't say nothing about their mans in them.
Starting point is 01:07:03 So the niggas that I was up north with and all, I ain't going to talk bad about them unless they get out of line. But these, like, I don't know nobody else. I ain't got no pics. Yeah. Were you reluctant to even get in the media space? Like, when you came home and the shit started booming at that time.
Starting point is 01:07:16 Nah. Did it look kind of weird and goofy to you? Nah, the shit happened. It was crazy, right? I can't own rapping. I came on rapping. I came on rapping. Kay Slay put me on Hot 97 with no money.
Starting point is 01:07:25 I thought I was the shit. I'm going to take off with this rap shit. And then, like, I hurt my leg. I had to sit up for a while. Then I just made a video. That shit did a million views. Then the next video, as I'm doing it, it dawned on me like, yo, you're a professional at this shit.
Starting point is 01:07:43 You sat on the gate looking in that mirror at yourself talking. Yeah, yeah. 15 years. You were professional at this. And, yo, that video doesn't even rhyme. Yeah, yeah. Yo, I want what you got to rap for? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:55 Yeah, yeah. You look, I'm rapping now because I want to rap. Like what? Yo, look, that video went viral. The second one went viral. That was like, fucking, man, I'll make videos, man. Yeah. Pop and shit.
Starting point is 01:08:03 I was laid up. I couldn't move. Yeah. Phone fell off. Uh-huh. I couldn't do nothing. So you had, um, you had this one live. I remember on YouTube.
Starting point is 01:08:13 And I think I hit you one after I watched that shit. This shit might have been, and I've never watched the video this long, but the story you was telling about when you got into it with a nigger. jail and you knocked his tooth out and you save his tooth and you put it on your windowsill for like six months and your jail so every time somebody came to you everybody come on my road seeing that shit on my window set I would say Sunday right now but I don't want that I get it because he'd be snuffing niggas he punched me in the face twice two different occasions like he got it off and I'm saying I won and I'm saying both times but he
Starting point is 01:08:48 he don't got no problem stolen off so I ain't going to say his name or nothing yeah yeah I'm saying embarrassed that that story though my homie that needed to be in a movie, though. Yo, son. I've never heard no shit like that before. For our listeners, that didn't hear the story. What was the story? Yo, listen, the nigga kid,
Starting point is 01:09:06 yo, listen, I found that nigga gun one time, right? A nigga had a scalpel, right? The laundry porter found it. And sold it to me. He found out I got it. I put that shit in his hand. He asked to see it. I put it in his hand, your head.
Starting point is 01:09:18 He looked at it. He was like, yo, this looks like my shit. I'll pay for that. Let me get that back. Yeah. If you felt the way you were supposed to, you're not getting his back. Let's go.
Starting point is 01:09:25 I'm putting blood on your shit be out of here that's what I did Yeah He held it down The nigga came in my room He was like Yo I need some
Starting point is 01:09:33 I'm going to school I gave that nigga Some shit to sell He came back Yeah The nigga handed me Two bricks one day They was like
Starting point is 01:09:39 Yo The nigga said He got two more bricks For you When I took them shit He punched me Dad in the face Boom
Starting point is 01:09:44 That shit was amazing Son I was like Oh I'm trying to get my Barrens He's talking Instead of going off He's talking
Starting point is 01:09:54 I'm like Oh What the thing? What's going on? I beat the shit out of that. I was trying to cut him. Like, he's talking. I need that back.
Starting point is 01:10:08 I need that back. I'm like, what the fuck is going on? Like, you know, a nigga foggy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I need that back. You should have just kept punching. That's what you should have kept doing, punch him. But he stopped and let me get my barrens old.
Starting point is 01:10:21 When I got the whistle name out, I was trying to tear him up. I'm still foggy, so it ain't really working the way I expected to work. The shit fell when it fell. Sorry, so let's punch. And then I need them. I still, I got a hole in my knee. I need that nigga in his mouth. Oh!
Starting point is 01:10:43 Later on that day, the porter nigga was like, yo, look what I found. I thought he was about to give me my gun back. Yeah. I ain't tell nobody. I lost that shit, though. You can't tell nobody that shit. I'm like, damn.
Starting point is 01:10:52 He's like, yo, look what I found. I'm like, oh, he got the gun. Niggas showed me the two of hours. Like, oh, man. Give me that shit. I put that shit on the windows. That's what I said. That's what I was like six months about.
Starting point is 01:11:02 Word up. Yo, that was the craziest one of the string away around my neck. Yo, son. I went to the box again. I went to the box again. Like, if I would have went on a regular draft, like, oh, pack up, you're going to another. I would still have that shit. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:18 But I got the same nigger. I'm telling you, I was in commissary. Just like right before Thanksgiving, like, you know, that store is the most important store in jail right before Thanksgiving. Nick's about to cook it up and all that. Yeah. That nigga punched me dead in the face right in conversation. Ooh!
Starting point is 01:11:34 I back that shit out again. Now, you ain't going nowhere. This time, I'm going to do you this time. You ain't going nowhere, but his man was there standing up too. So I wound up cutting him. He was closer to me. I ain't chasing you, nigga.
Starting point is 01:11:47 You backing up. You don't really want to punch and run. This nigga standing here. I don't know what he's going to do once I get, once he's behind me. I'm saying, I'm going to just buck this nigga now, get this over with. Take my chances at this.
Starting point is 01:11:59 You're, jail is so crazy, though. Like, the fact that you gotta live like that is the craziest shit ever to me, man. Yo, that shit is rare. But like, what's the biggest misconception about jail that you hear a niggas say all the time? That is mad gay shit going on. That's the biggest mix.
Starting point is 01:12:16 Yeah, because that's the type of shit people would be saying. That's the, like, yo, if a nigger goes, like, yo, you can't even do certain things with a bro when you come home. Yeah. Because they're gonna be like, well, what was you doing it in? Yeah. I don't want no relations with that part of your body.
Starting point is 01:12:32 Sting, like, I'm good on that. Don't worry, I'm not, I don't want to eat it. I'm fine. I'm Muslim. I'm Muslim. Wow, I'm Muslim. Yeah, fuck out of it. Yeah, dead ass.
Starting point is 01:12:45 You can't do certain things. Like, that shit is crazy. So that's the biggest, out of town, out of town, it must be like, private. Like, that shit must be the thing. Like, you get dudes. I've been, like, we got Alabama niggas that been up north from me. And I'm saying, shout out to my son, Carol.
Starting point is 01:12:58 He's from Delville and Alabama. And that was my man. Like, them niggas say, niggas be, niggas be humping on shit at night, damn me. And I'm saying? Like, that's regular. Like, that's,
Starting point is 01:13:06 yeah, yeah. Louisiana, they say, them niggas is humping on shit. Like, you can't do that in New York and come around. Yeah. Like, you, you could do, have it your way,
Starting point is 01:13:16 but you shun, like, you're not coming around. You can't be in no gang. Like, no religious, like the church on Sunday is where they go. That's where they be at. What I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:13:28 Homosexuals? I'm sorry. I'm just trying to get the story right. Yes. So in jail? Like in jail, niggas, ain't nobody really messing with that like that. Like, you're Christian, you could do that in yourself.
Starting point is 01:13:41 Okay. You know what I'm saying? He ain't really running to the church because the boys being a church, you know what I'm saying? But like the rosters, you ain't gonna be gay messing with the rosters, the Muslims, none of that. You know what I'm saying? But that's like the biggest misconception of jail,
Starting point is 01:13:54 like is that niggas be gay. You'll be gay and running to the church. It's hilarious to me. That's where they go, though. Yeah. But I think that what you've done with your brand and your space, I think it's perfect, though. I think it's perfect.
Starting point is 01:14:07 Me and Rory always talk about it. We like, yo, listen, man, we got to get zip to the next level. Like, how can we get zip to that next? Yeah. And that's always why I'm to listen. We're going to bring them on. I'm doing this shit on the fly. We're doing it for real time.
Starting point is 01:14:19 So they're hearing this. We're doing this in real time. I'm saying I'm doing this shit on the fly. I ain't really got no, like, it's no blueprint for this shit really. Right. And I'm saying so, like, people be like, you remind me a tag stone. you remind me a tax.
Starting point is 01:14:29 Shout out to my son's tax. I talked to tax yesterday. I'm saying? Like, nays like, yo, you remind me a tax stone. But I don't know what tax was out here doing. I went to jail in 2002. September. I came home.
Starting point is 01:14:41 September 2020. I don't know nothing about what tax was doing. That nigger was in jail three, four years by the time I came home. I don't know what he was doing. But niggas in jail was telling me, you go home, you should start a podcast. When you go home, you should start a podcast. I told my mom that shit on the phone. I ain't even know where the podcast was.
Starting point is 01:15:00 Yeah. Now I'm saying, I told her like, you, I'm going to use that rap shit. That shit gonna get me lit. And then I'm gonna start the podcast. Don't worry about that. Nobody got out shit told me. I got you.
Starting point is 01:15:09 Don't worry about it. I don't want to tell nobody else that because they're gonna be, might be looking at you like, yo, nigga, you fucking. You ain't go home to do no shit like that. Right. But that was the play, though.
Starting point is 01:15:19 I'm saying? And it happened just like that. It just happened like, I thought I would like do a little bit more fucking with the music shit. If K. Slay ain't die, I think I would have did more. Clay was on me.
Starting point is 01:15:28 I'm like the last nigga Kay Slade. Yeah. I made that two. Rest of peace case. That was one of the biggest losses in our culture for sure. I made that 200 deep shit. Let's get to that. Rolling 200 deep.
Starting point is 01:15:38 I know there's 200 niggas on there, but whatever, that's a fact. That's a fact. Where are you passionate at now? Is it more on the content podcast? Yeah, the context is because like, when you writing raps,
Starting point is 01:15:49 like the way they be rapping nowadays with these punches and all that, you can tell. That's why nobody is. They don't got no quotable raps. Like, I'm from that era where you had to take your time, write that shit.
Starting point is 01:15:57 You want motherfuckers to be repeating these raps, and I'm saying, like you put your, when you do this, this is nothing. Yeah. This ain't no effort in this. Right. You just keep it a buck. Have you ever had a chance to connect with 50 yet?
Starting point is 01:16:10 Because I know he posted you a few times. Nah, you know, I did a song with 50 when I was a little nigger. Like, me, him and Roy, you flush. Like, I ain't know if I knew Roy you flush. Flush took me off of that shit too. I don't fucking flush like that no more. He took you off the record? Yeah, he took me off that song.
Starting point is 01:16:25 What was the name of the song? Some shit with him and fifth. It wasn't no name of the shit was just me, him at fifth, we was in the studio we was wilding on the big beat that shit
Starting point is 01:16:31 one, two y'all, you know, I rocked you. Be wild. I really smoked them old niggas on that shit, you know what I'm saying? And the nigga took me off for that shit.
Starting point is 01:16:40 I just came home for the body so that wasn't what it was. I had just beat the body. I came home and then I got an awkward to swimmy. I got knocked with a swimmy. I thought that shit was like doing what it was doing.
Starting point is 01:16:49 My whole hood had that shit. Like, everybody in my hood had it them. When I came home just now, I looked that shit up. I ain't on that shit. And you didn't speak to Flusch about it at all? Nah, I ain't seen Flesh since I really figured out that I wasn't on that shit,
Starting point is 01:17:03 you know what I'm saying? But I've been around Flusch a few times, like. Yeah, and never spoke about it. Because I ain't up. Oh, okay, I see what you did. Y'all recorded in person altogether? Yeah, we was in the cutting room. That was the name of the studio.
Starting point is 01:17:15 Okay, yeah, hell of you. Yeah. Yeah, I was like 16. I just beat the body. I can't own. My son was like, yo, Roy Flusch wants you to pull up to the studio. I can't do the studio. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:17:24 What year was that? Like 9, 7. Okay. That's the 50. He had the shit with the four, how to rob and everything. The five knickles in the court. Yeah, yeah. What was that session like?
Starting point is 01:17:37 I smoked them niggas. That's my word. I know them niggas versus. I know my verse. I smoke them niggas. That's a fact. Okay. Well, shit, I mean, I think it could be easy.
Starting point is 01:17:49 It would be easy to even connect with 50 and everything that 50 is doing. Nah, fifth don't really fuck with me like that. I'm saying he posted me a couple times on his page and all that, but he don't really fuck with me like that. Why is he saying? Why am I saying that? Like, what do you mean? Why am I saying that?
Starting point is 01:18:03 Like, clearly, right? Fair enough. What fuck? I've been out here for a minute with this shit now. I'm saying I've been doing this shit for a couple years now. Like, but he posted me a few times. I respect that. Like, I appreciate the little shit that these niggas didn't done.
Starting point is 01:18:16 I'm saying like, because I don't know niggas really. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Niggas ain't obligated to do nothing for me. Yeah. How are you in on tax conduct? My jail niggas, man, he was in the crib With my man that had shot the police
Starting point is 01:18:29 And then ran up in a precinct up to her bobcat Free my nigga Bobcat He ran up in a precinct, bucked a couple shots And slid his gun across the floor Yeah As my comrade, he was in a crib with the nigga Tax, so he faced-time me one day Like, yo, this nigga wanna holl at you
Starting point is 01:18:41 Okay And it was tax, no I'm sorry Yeah, one of the money The money's solid ones for sure Um, Mr. Let's get to that, The let's get to that slogan. How did that, did you mean for it Become your slogan?
Starting point is 01:18:53 Or was it something you used to always say in conversation. All right. So like another some more jail shit. We was all out here at the same time too. One of my men's, he backed jam. But we was in the crib and we used to all be coming up with like little sands. And we all be like, oh, we got the hell of this little lingo in the spot.
Starting point is 01:19:11 Right. Let's get that. Like, you know what I'm saying? All, like all of us contributed that. My son Moab from Queens, Ricky Fads from Harlem. Now I'm saying. My son, my son, my son, son Quay from Brooklyn. All of us were saying all of these shit.
Starting point is 01:19:21 And I'm saying, like, but when I came home, like, that was the one, Like when I left that spot, when I got to my next spot, like, I kept seeing that. Yeah. So, like, that shit just part of it. So we ain't going to see nobody come home to my, yo, he's, yo. Nah, because them niggas took that for me. No, I would have 15 years in when I met them niggas.
Starting point is 01:19:39 All of them niggas been home. Them niggas been home. They know this is my shit. Okay. I'm saying. That's something that, I mean. But I put it all for them niggas though, so they know that. Yeah, yeah, I get it.
Starting point is 01:19:48 You know what I'm saying? Like, this day shit. Right. With, um. I got a trademark, though, so what the fuck? What you're going to come overseas? Okay. What fuck you're going to come over to say?
Starting point is 01:19:55 Yeah. You are. I've been on, according to that, Delaware. You know, listen, I've maxed out on parole. I've been home for a long time. That shit is mine. I trademark that.
Starting point is 01:20:03 You know what I'm saying? Like, that's my shit. Smart. Yeah. With Supreme putting out his documentary Supreme Truth, shout out to Prine. He had had some words about Bimmy, and I know your platform.
Starting point is 01:20:17 They had brought the paperwork to Mall and I first. And I was like, that ain't our speed. And we was like, yo, Zip. That's the one to give that paperwork too. And I'm glad y'all did that because I needed that at the time, you heard? Because he was running around with this niggas, you know what I'm saying? Nigger was talking crazy about me, and like you're the OG from Queens. This nigga talking about me.
Starting point is 01:20:37 I'm solid. I put off with Queens. You ain't telling this. I'm calling you telling this nigga. This nigger saying my father's a rat. My father's in jail for killing the police, nigga. Like my father was a stand-up nigga. Oh, niggas in jail.
Starting point is 01:20:48 Dying in jail. You want an internet calling this nigger rat. That's some buster shit. Tell that nigga stop. Right. Instead of the nigga, stop, he'd start calling my brother a rat. Like you said,
Starting point is 01:20:57 my brother in the streets doing crimes right now as we speak, nigga. You calling this nigga? No, ain't all allegedly. He's up north right now. He went back to jail. Maybe because it is, nigga.
Starting point is 01:21:07 Right, right. You understand? Maybe he's hot because it is, I don't know. Not I'm saying, but the nigga was in the streets doing crimes. I don't get.
Starting point is 01:21:12 You call a nigga rat. Nick, his head knocked off. Then if a nigga catch you with your son or your daughter and let it go. Oh, yo, niggas just playing foul. You pulled the chair. No, I ain't pulled a chair, nigga.
Starting point is 01:21:22 Right. I don't know what, I don't know where niggas come from. I don't, like, all of that, yo, no women, no kids. That's some movie shit, I don't mean. You niggas be on the internet talking shit. Somebody catch you and you with them little snotty-nosed kids. I'm not giving you no pass for that. Respectfully, I ain't grew up.
Starting point is 01:21:39 I'm from the 90. I used to tell you, bullets ain't had no name. You told us that shit when we was little for a reason. You better teach that bitch and that little nigga to duck. That's what you better do. Mm. Yeah. You on the internet calling my father around.
Starting point is 01:21:51 My father in jail. Oh, now. Nigger was violating niggas in jail before, oh, yo, a nigga on the internet said you're a rat. Oh, nigga,
Starting point is 01:21:56 you might try to violate my pops with some shit like that. Yeah. You never know who watching. You never know who listening. I'm saying you niggas to put my family
Starting point is 01:22:02 in harm's way. If I catch y'all niggas and y'all with y'all family, I don't spare y'all niggas that. How did you feel about the whole, you know, the fuck the street shit? When, you know,
Starting point is 01:22:14 everybody was saying, fuck the streets and dropping their flag. Every, every, I'm saying to drop your flag challenge. I support that shit 100%. this flag before. You know what I'm saying? What does that mean for the listeners that don't know?
Starting point is 01:22:25 I was blood. I was sex money murdered. I'm saying? Like I was running around. I was blood. I was sex money murder. And then it came to a point I seen some paperwork on the nigga that started that shit.
Starting point is 01:22:34 And I ain't really like the direction of the thing no more. And so I was like, I, that's enough to make me fall back. I ain't fucking with it no more. I'm saying. But you support the whole drop the flag. Yeah. You won't want to be in a gang? You shouldn't want to be in a game, bro.
Starting point is 01:22:46 Yeah. Like, yo, like you can fight that case on your own time, son. But when you fighting this shit and you got 14, 15 niggas fighting that case with you, bro. You save your man. You love your man's in them. You love your man's in them.
Starting point is 01:23:00 You love them. Like save them. Get away. If you put it in the work in. Because they're going to go to jail for that. This nigga just not to roll up weed. That's what he ought to do. Right, right. He's nice.
Starting point is 01:23:08 He rolled up the weed. He's not to put his right amount of grab all. That's only thing he do. You don't do. Nothing else. Yeah. When y'all nags go put in work, he don't go. When y'all get locked up,
Starting point is 01:23:17 He's gonna get them same bodies y'all niggas get in. When he tell, y'all n'n he's gonna be all old cold 33. Yo, he's a ride. This niggas did. He just roll up blunts. Y'all shouldn't even have this nigga in the game. You know what I'm saying? So is there a difference between that movement and the fuck the streets thing that they put on 21 Savage off Twitter?
Starting point is 01:23:34 Niggas. Niggas saying after the streets thought they could do songs with Gunner. And I'm saying, you notice them niggas ain't made no good songs in a long time. I like, like, like, I ain't never really like all of that shit the niggas was doing down there. But since I've been home, if you listen. to what Gunna doing compared to what the mother niggas is doing, it's clear. That he was the nigga behind all of that. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:23:53 So y'all niggas is saying, F the streets. F the streets. Don't worry about what the streets is thinking, go back in the studio and make them songs we're gonna. Meanwhile, your little cousins in them niggas is out there in the streets. Your uncles in them niggas is out there in the streets doing what they doing is just F them niggas. I'm not never saying that.
Starting point is 01:24:07 And the people that push you on. I'm never saying that. What y'all niggas are going to talk about? We these gospel songs. That's first quarter. We should have had mad gospel albums by now. What the fuck? You're gonna what's up?
Starting point is 01:24:18 Because what you niggas gonna talk about? Yeah. You niggas can't talk about nothing. Y'all, y'all, your whole career is based over the streets. Running around with a Draco. And what y'all niggas gonna talk about? Y'all niggas can't rap. Right.
Starting point is 01:24:30 Y'n' got no subject matter except for the streets. I think that's the big thing, the subject matter. Like, what do you talk about once you say? F-the streets. Yeah. I feel like rap. Me personally, if the niggas not talking about sex, money, and murder, I don't even want to hear that shit.
Starting point is 01:24:41 Right. Because that is the streets. Yeah, you got to give me some variation to that. Rock and roll is drugs. and women and yeah so it's like it's the same like each genre of music has its things or its elements that has to be
Starting point is 01:24:55 in the music at all times that's what makes it the music and I just think with all right 21 Savage specifically because he was the one that put the tweet out there I don't know what a Savage album sounds like without the element like I don't even know what that would even gospel you gotta go gossip so it does look nuts
Starting point is 01:25:11 if you do say fuck the streets and then your content is very much the same shit that it's been but I also think there's a huge fan base in the world that doesn't give a fuck about that law. Most of the fan base don't care about that. Yeah. The majority of your fan base don't care about the streets. Are you seeing DMX performing in front of the whole world at time?
Starting point is 01:25:28 Everybody was white. Yeah. It was Woodstock. Yeah, everybody was white, bro. It seemed like the whole world was out there, though, but it seemed like it was only white people. Like, that's your main. That's the number one consumer the music is white people, bro. Especially our culture.
Starting point is 01:25:42 Yeah, they ain't in the streets like us. Hip hop music is number one consumer is white people. That's been like that since it started, basically. I feel like, and I don't even want to make it 21 Savage specific, because he's doing fine. But when your career plateaus, yeah, you can go out to the suburban crowd that got you to the next level. But once your shit starts to plateau or decline, if you came up based off the streets and the streets put you on, that's the only people you have left to fall back on. Once you start to decline. Hello?
Starting point is 01:26:10 So then at what point, DMX, yes, that was a bunch of white people in that crowd, but X was going to be fine. matter what because of the community that cared about X. All those white people go home and not even play DMX again and he would have been fine. But I think I'm going to keep it real, right? If you're, if black people were rocked with X no more, I don't think X was, I don't think the black people was rocking with X for like them last two, three albums maybe. Because I can't even really remember those. After and there was X?
Starting point is 01:26:38 You remember the albums? Grand Champion and all of that. It got a little weird after Aandoval. It got a whole lot of white. It started getting white on the second album. The Snake. The rat The cat
Starting point is 01:26:49 And the jar He said I'm gonna get my bag Fuck what you Niggins are talking about Yeah he said Fuck this street So what he said
Starting point is 01:26:56 What he said? You don't remember He put a prayer in between it So we're laughing We're not about to do this I know everything No all love the X Always all love the X
Starting point is 01:27:09 I think After party up hit X kind of saw like All right My TRL fame Yeah It's a little different Yeah
Starting point is 01:27:17 And there was X Like five singles. Yeah. Yeah, like five singles off the first album. Oh, for sure. He was the man. I could do whatever I want to do. I thought he went and he got Marilynne Manson.
Starting point is 01:27:27 Yeah. Then there was X was the third album, yes. Yeah, that was the third one that had party up on it. And that's when the TRL fame hit. After and there was X. With these bitches, wrong from my nigga, that all of that shit. What the album was that on? And then there was that shit.
Starting point is 01:27:39 That was the last one. That album was fire. That we fuck with from X. Because that was like, what, 98? 99. 2009? It was 2000. It was 2000.
Starting point is 01:27:46 2000? Oh, I'm sorry. 99. After that, it got a little, yeah, it got a little. After that is like, I can't name no more X. There was the, what we do? There was like one single that was cool and then everything got weird. How we do, whatever the fuck it was called.
Starting point is 01:28:00 Yeah, see, I don't remember. They don't know how we be. Like, since after what these bitches, after that, I don't remember X. Yeah. Yeah, the music shift a little bit. Because X had, he's seen all in the white people. He became a global star.
Starting point is 01:28:13 Yeah, he became a global. Yeah, he was all over. Yeah, he started doing backflip. Jetly and all. Yeah. Like, you in China have you once you want to jet jet leash. Like, you're in China. Like, I don't be no rap.
Starting point is 01:28:22 You and Gabrielle Union or robbing people. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, it was different. X took off. Yeah, he was a superstar. X left Earth on us, bro. Yeah, so I can see it was music. You listen to a dude that made that money power respect beat, right?
Starting point is 01:28:33 That's my man. His name is Jay Gawfield. He brought that, he brought that shit to the hood, right, let his head, right? The nigga X verse on that shit was like five years old, bro. This is a beat that I could freak. He dropped you there. That's some shit he had did with John. Roo and Irvin them niggas on some cash money click shit.
Starting point is 01:28:51 I just way to God like, when the nigga playing, he's like, yo, I got DMX, I got a DMX verse. He's mad hype. He don't care about nothing else except for the DMX verse. He put that shit and he playing it. I started spitting that verse with this. He's like, how the fuck you know that? How the fuck you know that?
Starting point is 01:29:05 That shit is old. He like, nah, he just did that. I'm like, man, I just knew the whole verse. Nigger, that's just old. Word, John Roo's on that song. What can you talk about? Well, he was so mad. He thought he had the exclusive.
Starting point is 01:29:18 I heard that already. I spit the whole verse. Like, yo. He was like, you know, my whole fuck you don't. Shit, seven year old. Yeah. I was 12. All right.
Starting point is 01:29:28 Well, listen, man, I, you already know what it is. I mean, we, we about to go see what Neffles talking about. I'm trying to, I'm trying to, we're trying to get to that. Let's get to that. Just let us know what we got to do, man. Just let us know what we got to do. However, however you want to do it. What we got to do, though, like, what we got to do to get Zip to really
Starting point is 01:29:48 focus and go hard on this shit because again your voice your charisma you a personality is out of this world that you already did it that you already did it y'all let in the room so you know what i'm saying i tell you you a nigga let me a room i don't think they're gonna let me out the room i'm in the room and they say no more because me and rory already had just talk plenty of time so i see and we want to help like not with anything attached to it just help the way that we could help out we just your shit yeah don't tuck the sauce like y'all ain't gonna tuck the sauce okay never that never that no for sure keep the cowie my nigga keep the fucking couch
Starting point is 01:30:20 I didn't have 15,000 on that couch I could have win a board 7, 8 of them shit so I'm not changing the couch and when we get to Patriot because we're gonna finish this get to Patreon with our other two guests and we're gonna have some fun yeah where I
