Happy Fall Off Eve.
Happy Fall off Eve.
And we are back, sponsored by Boozmo, Unlimited, Doc.
Maybe it is to what Eve?
Fall off Eve, baby.
Fall off Eve.
Yes, we are recording this on February 5th, Thursday.
2526.
Thursday, February 5th, in a few hours, the entire world will shift.
Hip hop will change.
Hip hop will change forever.
Hip hop will be one way.
Is it the paradigm?
The paradigm?
And then after midnight, hip hop will be a completely different genre.
And will.
Hip hop will be restored as of midnight.
Real hip hop is back.
Yes.
The moment we waited for, baby dear is here.
How are you feeling?
You look good.
I feel amazing.
You look good.
You want to stand up for the camera today or no?
No, I'm okay.
Okay, all right.
My big pants, I tried.
I tried, I tried, I try to.
I do have the sample pants that you gave me on.
Nobody responded to me in the group chat when I was like, yo, nah, these the ones.
My ass look fat.
I'm like, y'all, like, you sent that.
I was fresh out of the shower.
That wasn't the time to respond to that.
That's crazy.
Yeah, like I had my manhood and my towel.
You know what I'm saying?
It just wasn't the right time, baby, Dee.
But I read what you said.
Tucked in your towel.
Yeah, yeah, it just wasn't the right time to respond.
But I read what you said.
I read what you said.
Yeah.
It's good to know.
So when those sweats finally drop, you'll know that they fit women.
Ladies, when our new sweatsuits drop on Valentine's Day, your ass will look like baby D's in the sweats.
Yeah, just so you know.
I don't know about that.
You know what they say the model, the model is wearing, and they put the size.
We're going to put you on there and say, Baby D is wearing a media.
Or just tweet more and he can guess your weight and tell you what size is.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
There go.
Ow.
You got to spin, though.
Spin for the wind.
Spin for the wind.
Oh, it's sick.
Oh, I know how that look when it's fresh out of the shower.
when it's walking away from it.
Maybe I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I said nobody's ever going to marry me because mall told him all the other day.
I said nobody's ever going to marry me because Maul told me to jump and I'd be like how high.
He say spin, do a 360, do a flip and there I go doing it.
I mean, but they know.
They know our relationship.
They know it's all love.
But yes, it is the eve of one of the most anticipated albums of all time.
Yeah.
I mean, it's pretty hot.
Yeah.
It's pretty hot.
It kind of sounds crazy when you hear it.
but it is one of the most anticipated albums probably in hip hop history.
So how are we feeling?
Are we going to, can we have fun with this episode?
Can we speak as if we heard the album and we either hate it or we like it?
Let's give it if we love it.
Let's give it if we hate it.
This is like I'll speak a box love below.
Yes.
And to be clear, it is February 5th.
We have not heard this album.
We have not heard the album as we're recording this.
We're just guessing.
We're just shooting the shit.
We're having fun.
Ebe, I love you, man.
Shout out to everybody over there.
Jay Cole, I love you too, even though you think I hate you.
I hate what you did, but I still got love for you.
And Salute Felton.
I saw that they, uh,
Salute Felton.
We had asked how they cleared this entire back cover and how, like, long that would take.
Felton cleared every single one of those magazine covers with every single artist.
Fire.
Yeah.
Congrats.
He's a creative director at Drinkville.
Shout out to Felton.
Friend of the show.
Shout out to Willis.
Your barber.
I'm sure Jay Cole has a fresh lineup today.
I'm sure he does.
I'm sure he got his beard.
Everything cleaned up for 26, 26.
but right now it is
2526.
So let's start with love.
Let's speak as if we've heard the fall off.
We absolutely love it.
We can't turn it off all weekend.
Even while the Super Bowl is on,
we got the TV on mute
and the fall off is playing
as Drake May goes all the way.
I mean, I feel like it's above
life after death annualizing me.
I think it's the greatest double disc
of the first listen?
Yeah.
So all right, this is your first listen in.
All right.
Give it to me, Roy.
Greatest double disc of all.
The first.
listen of the falloff. How are you feeling, Rory?
Greatest double disc that's ever existed.
Ever. That's what you're rolling with.
I think we need to have a new conversation now where, I don't know, is Cole better than
Hovin Naz? Can we have that conversation now?
29 intro, one of the greatest intros ever to an album?
I thought that went without saying. The only thing that rivals 29 intro is 39 intro.
Okay.
How you get the two greatest intros in hip-hop history on one album?
Okay. I cried when I heard DeVillis.
When I heard the villas, I just cried.
The villas.
I love speaking from this perspective.
So you feel like DeVillis, so you cried.
When I cried, when I heard DeVillis and when I heard, I love her again.
I love her again.
Who'd you text after you?
I love her again.
You, I text you.
That's why I text.
I love her again.
That's the love song.
That feels like a love yours?
No, I can't believe that he kind of like, you know, he gave us the concept with the Nause Rewind shit for the first record.
I can't believe he gave us the comment.
I used to love her flip on this one
I knew I was about to say that
when he said I love her again
he's talking about hip hop
Yeah
Oh to fall off he fell out of love
Yeah
I love her again
He's back
He's more he's inspired again
He's in love again
Mm-hmm
Mm-hmm
Mm-hmm
Oh shit
Greatness
You witness and greatness
In real time
How you feel
In all 50 years of your life
You ain't witness greatness like this
Who's 50
Oh my boy whoa whoa whoa
Oh my bad I was rounding up
Don't round up
Because even if you round up
I ain't 50
I'm 44
Round you gotta go down
40
Okay I'm sorry
Yeah
Fuck out of 50
In your 50 years
I mean I think it goes
Without saying
That it is better
Than life after death
Analyze on me
I'm gonna go as far as saying
It may be better
than the Beatles white album
As far as double discs
I mean
I haven't heard
And I still believe that
You being facetious
I still believe that
Why can keep uplifting white people
During Black History Month
That shit irritating me
Well I mean
J. Cole is half white as well
So, I mean, we got to give some of that in there, right?
Do we?
Yeah, I mean, we have to.
I'm sure his mother loved the white album.
Yeah, I'm sure it was one of our faves.
I'm sure it was one of Jay Cole's.
Soundtracks.
Yeah, he definitely heard that.
Soundtracks is his childhood for sure.
Yeah, I think what he did with 29 intro is amazing.
I think this is the cold we wanted to see during the battle.
The cold we anticipated, right?
They went crazy on 29 intro.
Two-six.
He showed us why, you know, he's, you know, the 26 God.
You know what I'm saying?
I mean, yeah, man.
I just think what he did with this is incredible,
incredible high-level rapping.
The production is amazing.
Shout out to T-minus.
Did an amazing job with this.
Is the clock on for Drake and Kendrick
to reply to lonely at the top?
I feel like the clock.
I feel like right now they should already have put something out.
Couldn't help yourself.
You know what's going to be crazy?
She's going to come out and have nothing to do.
Oh, no.
Everything we're saying right now is 1,000% probably not going to be correct.
I can't wait until, course.
The bill is going to be a banger.
Like nothing to cry at just
Yeah
The villas
Instead of the illest
The realest
The vilest, okay
But I mean
I think it was
I think run a train
Was a really good follow up
To his virginity song
Wet dreams
I feel like that
You know what you lose your virginity
You gotta run a train
Run trains
It's so crazy
How he captured the beauty
Of running a train
Only Cole could take such a filthy act
And make it seem so beautiful
Y'all think when people
Be Eiffel towering
And they like whole hands
Like their palms be sweat
I think they're gay
I think if you touch another man
while he's naked you're gay
I don't care how you touch that man
you're gay
No pushback
You got nothing
You know my stance on trains
No pushback here
Run a train
I want to be naked with you man
I'm sorry
I can't wait to hear
I might go straight to run a train
I gotta just hear with like
the concept like what you on
with this runner train
We've never seen a title like that
Nah it's gonna be like him on the F train
Going to the city
Running down hillside
to the train? No.
Oh, or is it run A, the A train?
The A goes...
Conductor, yo. It's Peach.
Peach. Nah, Pete is right. If Conductor didn't produce run a train, I'm gonna be
tight. Yeah, I'm with you. That better be a conductor.
We better hear conductor and run a train. We better hear that.
And there was rumors. I think there was a photo or something that was on Twitter.
We know for a fact, conductor was in North Carolina at some point.
Yes.
And I don't think it was to.
work with P.D. Pablo. So I think we can comfortably say that conductor is probably on,
that's a fair, that's a fair assessment. And if you think about it, like, is Cole kind of biting
us? Because we just had conductor do our intro for the pod. I think so. I feel like that. I feel like that.
I feel like that. We're the first people would ever use conductor. We're the first ones to have a
conductor beat. Coles wrapped on conductor beats. You still the first one. I don't care, man. In my
story, we're the first ones. I don't give a fuck. But yeah. I, I, I, I, I,
think it's, I think we can now safely say that J-C-C-O's the greatest rapper ball.
I think Dis-39 is better than Dis-29.
That's just how I'm feeling.
That's how I'm feeling.
Okay.
I mean, I feel like Dis-39 got more replay value.
You had said yesterday that you weren't really sure if any of the, the raps were really
going to stick with you.
Was this Talib Kuali lyrics stick to your rib type material?
Yeah, man.
You got it right.
The hooks are strong.
The production is strong.
The beats did it.
The beats did it.
Your hooks did it.
Your lyrics didn't, nigger.
Yeah.
feel like all that I feel like the hooks is strong.
I feel like that was the one spot for me where I always feel like Cole's struggle was
making hooks.
But I think that he got it right on disc 39.
I think he did what he was supposed to do with this one.
It sounds good because I like it.
Yeah.
I like this.
I like this, I like this better than this 29.
I mean, were you shocked by all the A-list features?
Oh, my God.
Are you kidding me?
Where did he find L.O.?
Listen.
Yo, I.
All right.
Yo, when, when, when-
I didn't see the Queens connection there.
All right.
My bad.
When Dragon came on and let it out.
Oh, my God.
I was like, drag on.
Oh, my God.
With the Swiss production?
Yeah.
Come on, man.
Come on.
Where did Cole find Jay Hood?
Oh, my God, man.
My bad, Jay Hood.
I didn't mean, I didn't mean nothing about that.
Yo, we got redo this episode that way.
Oh, we got redo this episode that's way.
Yo, you heard, where did he find Jay Hood?
Yo, what's that be?
Where did you find this one?
Damn, son.
Damn, son.
Where did you find this one?
I am happy that Cole did address everything with Cam Ron.
It was good to hear Cam give a little snippet on the record just to show that everything's cool and that the interview is on its way.
Yes.
So I'm happy they're not really in court.
That was all promo for the song.
Yeah.
I like it.
I like it, man.
I'm really enjoying this album.
I think it's a classic.
I ain't going to lie.
One weekend in, one weekend living with.
it I feel like it's a classic absolute classic shout out to the team made that they were
supposed to do baby d finally everything i was said about j cole i'm sorry i apologize i was wrong
i know like i you know just great music i'm just happy that he gave us a great album yeah we were
talking off mike after you heard this this album you quietly said yo i would have apologized
that dream bill too i didn't even see the strategy yeah it makes sense now it don't make sense i see
why he apologized because he he knew what he was about to do to the game yeah you know he knew he was
about to fuck the game up with this one.
Sometimes you got to lose the battle to win the war.
That's a fact.
She says something right there.
Sometimes you got to say, you know what?
Let me save y'all from your demise.
Because y'all don't know what's about to happen.
Demise fall off.
Come on, man.
Demise is just to fall off in French.
Hey, hey, dog.
It wasn't J-Cold born in France?
No, Germany.
He's an army being, right?
Isn't he an army bra?
No, I think he was really born in, like, Germany.
He was really born in Germany.
Oh my God.
Finally, we got our proper Just Blaze and Jay Cole collab on John Bass.
Finally.
Finally.
Good to hear Just again.
And I mean, you guys tell me, did you make up for Mr. Nice Watch?
He did.
He was right.
The J version is incredible.
Yeah.
On inevitable, it was inevitable.
It was inevitable that this was the way they would come back and work together.
This was it.
How do we miss this one?
the other day when we're going through the track list.
It was right here in front of our eyes the whole time.
See, that's why you're not a real J Cole fan.
Everything go over your head.
Us real Cole fans.
We know.
Y'all know everything.
You got to teach me your ways, bro.
Just teach me your ways, bro.
Just teach me your ways, man.
Is anybody else dropping tonight other than LMA?
LMA is dropping.
Shout to LMA.
I saw that little baby he was doing a remix.
I would just not.
I'd hold all my shit.
You know, nobody else should be dropping tonight.
Like, get out the way of cold.
This is like Taylor Swift dropping.
get out the way.
Yeah.
Let Cole have this week.
Let him do what he does.
And then next week we get back to the, you know, the regular schedule programming.
Yeah.
And, I mean, we weren't, we weren't, we were going to keep this secret because, you know, we try to hold private shit down to some degree.
But, but it was really cool to watch Moll and Cole chop it up at the release party last night.
Yeah.
It was really good for y'all to have that moment.
Y'all took a flick.
It was just misunderstanding.
Yeah, y'all did the, uh, the DAP flick, like where you guys are in mid-dap for it.
So that was, that was good to see.
Yeah, man.
you know, because I, when the city's beefing, like,
yeah, nobody, no, everybody, we all suffer.
Yeah, we all lose sleep.
We all lose sleep.
We all lose sleep. None of us can sleep when we beefing.
So, you know, I just, you know, I just had to let Cole know it wasn't personal.
You know what I mean?
And it was just like, listen, man, I'm just a guy to support you and that, you know,
hold you to a high regard.
And he just, I was disappointed.
Yeah.
I was hurt.
Yeah.
By the fact that you didn't want to engage in one of the greatest rap, rap battles ever.
And it was, it was cool.
you know once once the party was over and everyone was leaving they turned the lights on but some of us
stayed and kicked it and cole actually played a record that didn't make it on the album called let
mall down um yeah over the let you wasn't supposed to let people know about that one no roary i mean
it was it was cool to see like cole holding the phone up to your ear and you just like yeah yeah
that was that was a nice nice moment i felt you know i'm saying i support cold man i'm just just a little
hurt by his uh decision making two years ago that's all um all right now
the other side
let's hate
I feel like if he condenses
to one album
it would have been good
yo it was too much cold
could he just lock in
with Alchemist
24 tracks of cold
that's too much cold
not a fucking feature
it's not that cold
that's too cold
y'all are straight
bullshit today yo
you can't be silly
it's too cold
it's a cold world
yeah but it's come on man
it's fucking three degrees outside
we got 24 tracks of J. Cole
like what are we doing
I think
His hooks are fucking trash
Can we just admit that?
Yo, I've always said
That his hooks are
He got it,
yo, he has to
That's what he needs
He needs better hooks, bro.
Yeah.
He can wrap his ass off
We know that
He needs better hooks
Oh, and like that
Knockoff just Blaze Beat
And ugh,
just everything about it
And I thought
The run of train record
Was really creepy
Yeah,
I can't believe anyone
I don't know
I can't believe
that he was like
In this day and age?
Yeah, I don't believe
that, Eve,
I don't know what y'all
I didn't consent to that song.
I cannot believe
y'all let that leave the studio
He needs to lock in
on one producer. Alchemist. I don't understand why Al didn't do the hook. Yo, Cole, you got to lock in
with one producer, yo. You have to. This is like, your sound is all over the place. Your hooks are
not in the pocket. Like, Cole's life is boring. Can we just admit it? He has no substance.
Everything, everything felt this album felt really rushed to. Yeah. Like, he just decided one day
and just say, I'm going to do the fall off. I told you, he changed the album. I told you. It's
my, Rory, I feel like. Like, I wish you would put more thought in the concept. He changed the
He had to pivot.
You can tell this was rushed.
You can tell like he had the, you know what I'm saying,
go to a different sound.
He tried to create something different.
It just didn't, it didn't stick with me.
The fucking, the back cover, like, ooh, we get it.
You like hip hop.
Yeah.
Like, at least clear some of that shit.
Too much.
And pay the artists that are on the back cover.
Too much focus.
And you ran from Cam.
You didn't even address anything with Cam.
Man, I'm going to court that day.
Baby Dee.
Is this your hero, baby, Dee?
Is this your rap hero?
Yeah.
It is.
Oh, y'all thought I was going to switch up in this.
I was trying to, me and Demeris talking last night,
I was trying to give Cole Grace like maybe we don't get the concept.
The album was so bad because it's the fall off.
He was trying to show y'all that he could fall off.
Like that's because it was so bad.
That's what I thought maybe he was doing.
I can't believe he.
I can't believe he. I can't believe it.
Y'all know what's cracking me up is that somebody is going to clip all of this.
And like to me, if you think about it with with disappointing double discs,
where does it rank amongst Blueprint 2 and Streets?
This is worse than Blueprint 2.
to. Like, this is number one. This is the worst double disc. This is, this is, this is, this is, you got to
condense the album. It's to, leave the double disc shit alone. Rapers got to leave it alone. It's over.
Cole couldn't do it. Like, just leave it alone. You know what I mean? Give us 16, 17 tracks,
max and that's it. All of this 22, 23, 24. Cut the shit, man. We don't want to hear that much
rapping. And then like, that was such a trash seven-minute disc to, to Kendrick and
Drake. Like what? This should move on, Cole. Like,
now, why he's still on this show. Now it makes sense why he didn't battle. Oh, now it makes
sense. Now it makes sense. He couldn't handle it. Too much pressure. Most anticipated rap
album in the last however many years. Fold. I get it now. I get why he was losing sleep.
Jay Fold. Jay Fold from now on. He needed to do a folded remix.
Yo, give, your cold, sink Halani a verse. Because you folded. This album. This album.
Yeah, man, this ain't it.
And to me, this is
this is what you get
when Boss,
Jid, Earth Gang,
are not writing your rhymes for you
because everyone knows
Everybody knows
everybody knows Cole
don't write his own rhymes
and it's...
Jid is writing for Cole.
Can we even think that now?
He tried to trick us
with executive produced
by T-minus and Dreamville.
Yeah, I didn't do it.
Like, because we already knew
that they was going to write his rhymes.
It didn't sound like it this time.
Yeah.
Yeah, I can hear Jid.
I can hear what Jid is missing that.
I know where Jid pin is
it was used that now.
Now it all makes sense.
See,
everything makes sense.
Now, after hearing this album,
the fall off,
I now understand why Jay Cole didn't battle,
why he backed out of that,
why he turned his back on Drake.
It all makes sense now.
Yeah.
I get it.
Yeah.
I'm not even mad at you,
I'm not mad.
I'm not mad.
The release party didn't follow any fire code.
It was dangerous in there.
Just an awful overall night.
One of the worst release parties
I've ever seen in my entire life.
Code will not have fun.
When y'all ever seen Cole have him?
And he ducked away from you.
He was like, yo, what's up?
Like, I heard you was talking all that.
And then Cole ran as he's, there's his name now.
That's what he does when the battle was on.
He can't, he can't sleep.
Somebody's going to-
Fuck y'all.
This is funny to us.
Somebody's going to clip all of this shit.
That's what I'm like somebody's going to clip all that shit and make it seem like y'all really are being.
I haven't heard the album.
Here's the beauty in all of this shit.
We write somewhere in there.
Some of that shit is right.
Something we said and all of that, the last one,
minute something is right definitely was the part where jay cole doesn't write his rhymes yeah
definitely that was it jit jenn is right all the jol's rhymes that's what was right out of all of that
but either way we will be back next week for a real official breakdown and review of the fall
off yeah um all 209000 tracks all intros 29 39 intros um but again i all jokes aside
i am really looking forward to this album and i hope that i like it yeah i'm i'm
I'm looking forward to, and I know we're done with the jokes.
I am looking forward to having this much cold music at one time.
Yeah.
We've never just gotten 24 cold tracks.
Like, that's what I'm excited about.
Yeah.
Hopefully you did what you're supposed to do.
So what are we doing tonight to get into it?
Like, how are we setting the move?
Baby, dear, listen, when this album drop, I don't want it to be 1227 and you already in the group chat texting.
Shut up.
Just listen to the album.
Keep your thanks to yourself.
First of all, I don't do that.
We live texting.
As soon as Port Antonio came out,
seven minutes later, you was in a group text like, yo.
No, that's not what happened.
That was Rory because me and Rory were out with Port Antonio.
Y'all was in here.
No, that was clouds.
That was clouds.
Okay.
Yeah.
We were at a Mandy's birthday party.
Yeah.
Okay.
And we walked outside.
To listen to the song?
No, Rory went outside with the phone to his ear like this.
Just say, I don't love hip-hop.
Yeah.
I was inside playing Uno.
I don't write in a group.
Even when Cardi did.
drop. Y'all was in the group chat before I was.
What I said in the group chat?
You said, A, B, C, D, EF, G. These bitches can't fuck with me. I'm turning this off.
I didn't say that. I said that?
No.
I didn't say that. Of course that.
I've never typed that A, B, C, D, EF, G in my phone. I've never done that.
Don't do that, because when Wayne did it, we all was like, yo, it's crazy.
Yeah, but I still never texted to nobody.
Wayne wrapped the alphabet on that shit, and we was like, wow, it's genius.
Yeah, baby, did. Let the album be out for at least two hours before you.
I don't want to, no, because this is my thing.
This, because the same thing with Cardi.
If I'm enjoying the album and you put something in the group chat to piss me off,
it's going to take me out of my happy elements.
Okay.
I don't want to, I'm blocking y'all.
Okay.
I'll talk to y'all Monday.
Yeah, I'm not, but I don't do that, though.
I don't jump in the text.
Like, I've never done that.
I've never done that.
If I, if I did that with Cardi, I was just talking shit.
But I don't, I wouldn't be for real, like in the text, like, yo, this shit trash or,
yo, this is fine.
I don't, I don't do that.
We got to treat it like the streamers that don't even really like hip hop, but they're streaming and they have to pretend with their surprise face.
That's my favorite.
When they're doing a reaction?
Yeah.
Like, do you don't feel that way.
Yeah.
Yo, maybe I'll start my Twitch today.
Start my Twitch, stream to fall off.
I mean, let's do a joint Twitch.
Let's.
He always want to do stuff with me, ma'am.
Let's.
We, we, we.
Yo, Tom.
Black history, Mom, you know the white's got to be a part of it somehow.
You wouldn't want my real-time opinion?
I'm going to be in that group chat.
I know.
I'm live texting every song.
We're putting it on silent.
I got all the work group chats on silent.
Oh, and that first note hits on that intro.
We're so excited.

Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people.
I know what you're thinking.
What the hell does George Bush got to do with Little Kim?
Well, you can find out on the Look Back at it podcast.

Each episode, we pick a here, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it.
Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill, waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 is big to me not just because of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack all day, but just so y'all know.
I mean, at this point, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack.
So I'm starting to see that there's a through line.
We also have AIDS on the table right now.
Thank you for finishing that sentence.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Really?
Yeah.
For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history.

I said, hi, dad.
And just when I said that, my mom comes out of the kitchen, and she says, I have some cookies and milk.
This is a badass convict.
Right.
Just finished five years.

But as Cole fans, y'all not nervous a little bit?
It's a lot riding on this album.
I've never been disappointed by Cole's albums.
I've never been disappointed by an album.
So.
I was a little bit disappointed with Fear Eyes Only.
It did age better than I thought it would.
It aged pretty well.
Which one was Free Eyes on?
Was that the one when he was on the bus rapping?
No, well, that never even was on an album.
We talked about the False Profit shit.
That was just the Lucy.
Fear Eyes Only.
What was the biggest record on Free Eyes?
Neighbors, yeah.
Neighbors was hard when he had the video of the SWAT team coming in to his
studio in North Carolina.
Oh, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I can't remember the song.
I remember the video.
I can't remember.
The outro has like the nine minute story about the guy with the daughter,
a friend died and all that.
It aged better than I thought,
but that was the first time I was kind of disappointed with a co-al album.
But I'm not nervous.
I'm nervous strictly about double disc.
Anytime one of my favorite artists do a double disc,
I get a little nervous.
That's all.
Yeah, I'm nervous, man.
Because I know everybody thinks that I'm anticipating to come in
and listen to it and hate it.
but I really want to like the album.
I really want to enjoy it.
Yeah, I don't know.
And I think that he's, not to cut you up, baby,
but I think that he,
I hope that he doesn't make the mistake
of trying to rap his way back into our hearts.
Like, because just be, you, you're a great rapper.
You don't have to, so that's what I'm saying.
But this album, I'm like,
the way he described the concept,
I don't think you're getting any of what you got on that
mixtape with Clue.
I think this is just song substance.
I don't, I don't think he's going to be a rapity
rap it all. Okay. I, um, yeah, I'm not nervous. Like, I was talking to my TikTok live earlier.
I'm not nervous about the album. Like I said, Cole doesn't really let me down on albums.
The only part about, and I've said this before previously, the only thing I don't like
about music coming out that I'm looking forward to is having to come in here on Monday and
talk about it, which is. Well, that's why? Because sometimes I just want to enjoy the album as
like a casual fan. I don't like it's now my job to talk about music and sometimes I just don't want to
talk about music and then have to hear people's responses to me talking about me. Like I just want to
enjoy the album and I have to talk about it. But that's my job. So it is what it is. But like I miss being
just like a fan. It's like, oh, I'm just going to go in my room and listen to this and I don't have to
hear anybody's opinion on it. And I don't have to give my opinion on it. I don't have to make sure I'm
voicing my opinion and getting what I think across in my words the right way and worry about people
cutting it up and misinterpreted it.
And like, I just, I just want to be able to listen to music.
But, you know.
Yeah, I mean, I've gotten that out of sight out of mind for me.
I used to feel the same way, but I've made peace with that that can't happen anymore.
I can't be a fun consumer anymore and just enjoy music.
I'm still a fun consumer.
For the stuff we like, I also wish I could be a consumer that doesn't like anything and just keeps it to the motherfucking self.
Yep.
Why, though?
That's part, that's the beauty in it, though.
Like we all get to share our opinions.
Because sometimes, I mean, even with artists that I do like, I mean, not every artist, no matter how great they are, are always going to be batting a thousand.
And I think it's unfair to any human being to shit on them when every now and then they get something wrong.
Like, not in a personal way.
I've never done a review that way.
But like, sometimes I don't want to shit on my favorite artist.
Like, yeah, I didn't like it either.
But this guy or girl has done so much amazing.
Why am I going to come in here and just spew negativity?
of somebody that has given us decades of amazing material.
Now I just got to highlight your bullshit.
I think that's just unfair, but it's the gig.
I think it's unfair because we only have it for, what, three days before we
should talk about it.
And I think that's a little unfair for somebody that took probably three years to record
some of this music.
I mean, that's here.
For us to kind of like.
10 years to record some of it?
Yeah, for us to come in three days, 72 hours later and be like, it was trash or it was
amazing.
I just, I think that's a little unfair.
I think we should be able to.
live with it a little more.
But I think that it's okay to consume something and then give your opinion on it.
First reactions are cool.
Yeah.
And I feel you on that because I feel that even worse with like Netflix series,
somebody spent over a year of their life shooting this.
And I literally watched the whole thing in one Saturday and then tweeted,
yo, where's season two at?
Yeah.
Like, yeah.
Are you kidding me?
Yeah.
I almost died doing this.
I did my own stunt.
Jackie Kim with it.
Like, I still got bruises.
is at my knees.
You want the next season.
Yeah.
Like I had anxiety attacks over this shit.
But there's something dope in that.
It means they enjoyed it so much.
They want more of that.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
But they don't,
you know,
they don't take it to account
the time and energy it took.
I mean,
I feel like when we were a little younger
and there was less volume
of how many shows were coming out
with the streaming thing.
We would rewatch series.
Like,
I've rewatched soprano's wired a million times.
I'm going to rewatch.
A lot of stuff now, though,
it comes out,
even the best shit.
Like,
I was trying to remind myself
the other day
to rewatch succession.
But then I was like, there's so much should I have to watch and I don't want to rewatch that.
That's where I think it sucks for the directors, the actors, and all that.
Music at least has replay value.
Like if we love this co-album, we're going to keep playing it and playing it and playing it because music can be replayed.
Rarely now do you watch a new series a bunch of times.
Like I'm definitely going back to rewatch that.
Now, once I find out who the killer was, I moved on.
Yeah.
Like, Succession is one of the greatest shows, period.
and in this time
it's not going to get the same credit
I think Sopranos or something like that gets
because people rewatch that shit.
Bro, the shit would come out on Sunday
and you'd rewatch the Sopranos episode
that just came out four times
the following week
before the new one came out.
Like you really just had replay value of the shit.
Now you just move the fuck on.
The secret is dating somebody
that I never seen it before
then you got to rewatch it
because then it's fun again
because they're watching it for the first time.
How did you know that baby D?
Have you did like a study on this?
No, you know, through the grapevine.
I heard.
that's the best way to do it.
But I introduced, like, every new nigger I got to, like, Gray's Anatomy.
Like, there's a group of niggas in the world that have only seen Grey's Anatomy from start to finish because of me.
That's a lot of episode.
That's like a, that's like the longest relationship.
Yo, by the way, by the time they hit season, by the time they hit season five, I'm usually gone by them.
But they keep watching it.
Usually what they knew, bitch.
But they like the show.
Baby D said it's a group of niggas in the world that have only seen Great Anatomy because I introduced.
It's a crazy club.
That's a crazy, that's a crazy fraternity being part of.
They need to start a discord, discuss episodes.
Crazy anatomy train.
Are you, are you, uh, are you that annoying person when you're watching something you've
watched already, but it's their first time and explaining certain stuff, especially
because you already know.
I shut up.
I don't tell you anything.
And if you ask me a question, I don't answer.
If it's the wire or sopranos, I have to like remind myself.
to shut up. Or I'll sit there and tell a girl that doesn't care. Like, now you don't understand.
Richie appeal he has a complex because his brother was the boss. And Tony was young.
And now when he came out, he's looking at them like they're kids, but not they're the boss now.
Rory is the worst person to watch shit with that he already seen. I'd be like, yo, all right.
Because I want you to get it. I get it. I get it. You're not that's much smarter than me.
You got on the first watch and I so did I. Like I don't need you to like I see it. We're watching
the same thing. I hate watching shit with Rory. That's funny as fuck. I'm definitely watching
snowfall. No, there was one time I forgot what
me and Demaris were watching at my crib
and she had never, I forgot what movie it was and I was talking
through the whole, DeMaris was sleep through the whole movie
and I didn't even know it. I was explaining shit, pausing
shit and then hit and play.
She woke up at the end and said, right, I was, I didn't watch one frame of that
movie. Yeah, I was not to fuck out. I was talking to somebody
that was asleep. Wait, y'all was watching it together?
He was in my living room and she was knocked on my couch.
You couldn't see she was sleep? No. I was
looking at the shit. He was too busy talking
and like through the movie. He didn't even notice.
And you know how like my couch is really big.
We were on complete other sides.
Like I just wasn't even really looking. I was just like,
yo, all right, this happened. This happened. Play.
I was so locked in.
And she had like the blanket over her.
I thought she was laying down watching it like this.
Drewl all over the hell.
I can't. I hate watching
a series with girls like that though.
Because now I got to watch. We got to start
the episode over when you wake up.
Now mind you, this is your fourth time.
watching it. Yeah, I'm like, yo, well, I gotta watch this. But I usually don't. I'm good. Like, I'll watch, especially if it's a show, I lock into shows. Movies, I'll fall into shows. But shows, I'll fall into shows. But it was just, I'm already having me watching some boring shit. I don't know. Every time I come to Rory House, he puts something up on, because I'm not, how are you going to listen to this falloff album, though? Because I'm not, like, I anticipate just like putting it on and just like doing shit around the house. Like, I don't want to be, I just want to be, I read the first time I hear it, I have to be reading the lyrics because I care more about the lyrics to anything else. So I'm going to- You can't more about the lyrics to. I can't more about the lyrics to. I'm-
the music? I always. We've had this conversation. I care more about the list. I can't listen. I can't. I got
a hit of music first. So I pull it up like the lyrics on my phone. Um, and I'm reading the lyrics.
First listen. I can't do that. Yo, the baby needs a fucking cycle. That's how you listen to rap.
That's some serial killer shit. Yeah. That's, I want to hear what, like, I want to know what you're
saying. I don't want anything to miss it. But Cole, like with certain rappers, I hear you. Some rappers,
are harder to understand and don't cut through. Cole might be the clearest rapper next to Drake.
Like they both, you can hear everything they're saying.
Do we all remember, I do the same thing with Drake too.
Do we, especially with Drake?
Do we all remember like when we were in school and we all learned what type of learners we are?
Some people are visual learners.
Some people are audio learners.
Some people learn better when they write things out.
I learned the best when reading.
So that's why like when I read the lyrics as I'm hearing it, I just, they sit better with me.
Now do we think, do we think, Mark, Mark, we're typing them up right now?
Like, is it going to be on genius at midnight?
No, when you post it to Apple, Apple has.
I don't know whether it's AI or whether you submit them,
but Apple has the lyrics that play while you...
I can only speak for Avongar and we submit just so you have the...
Yeah, you submit.
So when you're, yeah, when the song is, it goes word for word and you can...
I forgot you can do that now in the DSP.
That's cool.
I thought you were sitting like opening genius and reading.
No, I'm on Apple music, hit the little lyrics thing.
Okay, I can kind of understand.
I'm following along with...
I can't understand.
Like audio book.
I still think it's serial killer behavior, but yeah, staring at your phone reading it, to me
at least is better than the laptop.
First listen?
I need to.
That's crazy.
That's wild.
First, listen, I'm looking at my phone as J. Cole is rapping, reading his lyrics.
Sitting in a bed just like this, reading.
Not excited.
But what are you, because you almost, you don't even know the cadence.
So, like, you reading shit that he already said.
No, I'm reading it while he's saying it.
Like, on Apple, as he's saying it.
No, I get that, but it's like, you don't know, you don't know his flow.
So, like, you can be reading shit that, like, you could be up here and he's down here.
Like, and it's like.
Like a bad karaoke.
Yeah.
It's like, how are you reading that?
At least when you know the song, you know the cadence you can kind of like read faster.
I literally just look and go along each.
I read it as each highlighted word comes up as he says it.
I'm not reading ahead of him.
Nah, though.
That is a sick way to like taking music to first listen.
I love it that way.
Huh?
Head phones are speaking?
Uh, have phones.
No, man.
AirPods and a crib.
I mean, I've done that before.
Like, obviously I think we were, we were traveling when, uh,
Siza?
When Siza dropped, I walked around in the rain in Seattle.
But we were already been to Seattle.
We were already on the ground.
But I think that, I think when somebody's album dropped and we were traveling somewhere
and I listened to the headphones.
Oh, you talk about Drake and 21 Savage?
I think we were in London.
No, we were in London already.
Yeah.
But I listened to it on the way because we were going to record.
I listened to it on the way to the studio on the headphones.
But I'm putting on my Netflix.
Netflix Sonos headphones for this one in the crew. Matter of fact, if Key is off working time,
I may just get on the E train and take it to Jamaica Center and back.
Nah, that's, that shit going to sit for real on a train with the, yeah.
And like if you get the concept, Colesane traveling and he went to St. John's,
like I got to get that, I got to get that feeling. I have to go on Utopia Parkway. I have to be
there. Ma, how are you going to, like, how are you going to digest it?
Yo, Maul's reactions to me sometimes. Are you going to listen to?
to him when you wake up or are you going to, he just be ignoring you sometimes. Are you going to
wake up, um, and do it or are you going to stay up? Wake up and do it. You think I'm going to wake up,
set my alarm and wake up to listen to something. No, not wake up at the next day. I mean like the next day.
No, no, no, I'm, I'm staying up. I'll be up past midnight for sure. But I'm not going like,
the way I listen to music, I like putting like, I have something on like playing like watching
something, but put it on mute and then like have the music playing.
Oh, my ADHD would lose.
I couldn't, I can't ingest two pieces.
Because, like, say, like, if it's a game on at midnight,
like so West Coast game, right?
Like, maybe the clip is or somebody.
The Lakers are playing.
Like, the game is on, so I'm watching the game.
With headphones?
No, no, no.
I got the music playing, like, you know, through the speaker.
So I'm listening to the music, but I'm watching the game.
So I'm watching something else, but I'm listening to the music.
And because that's how I take it music the best.
I got it.
I can't be hyper-fixated on what I'm listening to.
It got to kind of just be, like, playing.
And then I'll hear something and I'll be like,
damn, that melody is hard.
And I'll start the song over.
Once I do that, now I'm more into tune to what they're saying.
Because I heard it.
I'm hearing the music and I'm like,
that got a nice little, you know what I'm saying?
I like that melody.
I like that beat.
I like that rhythm.
All right.
Well, he's saying right here.
Then I'll start it over because I want to hear what he's saying.
So I'm definitely going to be up.
But yeah, that's how I listen.
I can't, I can't, because if I sit down and just like,
this is the only thing I'm focused on,
the music doesn't really, it doesn't really connect to me.
Like, it takes longer for it to connect to me like that as opposed to I'm moving around.
I'm doing shit, whether I'm cleaning or, you know, working out.
Like that's why I'm working out is or when you're traveling, flying, like that, you know, stuff like that.
Walking through the airport, you listen to shit like that.
I listen to no bullshit.
I think I said this before.
I listen to music the best and hear music the best while I'm sleep.
It's weird.
I know it sounds weird.
But if it's playing, not loud.
But if it's playing low and I'm like, I fall asleep, I can still hear the music while I'm sleeping.
You got to hit REM sleep, bro.
It's important.
No, I understand.
But I'm just saying, like, I've done that.
And when I woke up, I'm like, yo, what song was that?
And I go back and I'm like, that shit sound crazy.
It's so much music that I've received like that.
I don't know how and why I connect to music like that.
But definitely playing it low while I'm sleeping and just letting it loop.
Definitely one of the best ways for me to listen to music.
So you're going to be dreaming about Cole?
No, I'm not dreaming about it.
Well, it's Dreamville.
So, I mean, there's kind of disconnection there.
He didn't, Cole didn't really want the problem with me.
He didn't want that issue with me.
That's why he said that.
Cole didn't want that.
You out of all people.
Me out of all.
He didn't want that problem with me.
But yeah, I think I'm going to listen to it and, you know, not hyper focus on it.
Just kind of have it in the background.
I have a multitasked music.
Like, I would prefer to be cleaning up the crib.
Yeah.
With headphones on while I'm listening to.
Cleaning the crib with headphones on is hilarious.
For a first listening to Cole album, I need a cover headphones.
That's how you're going to rob.
Rob is going to be right behind you while you mopping.
Yeah, they ain't even gonna like,
You ain't even gonna,
you got the big ass,
my crib just be getting robbed all the time.
You got the big ass Soto's on.
They're taking all your shit.
But you have to,
that has changed
because I would never do that before,
but that's changed with having Amara.
Like when she's sleep,
I got to put on headphones and listen to shit.
I can't just be in the crib
my sonos fucking sound bar glass.
Oh, no, no, no, no, yeah.
But I mean, you don't have the headphones
on while Amara's up moving around.
No, no, no, of course not.
Yeah, she's sleep.
But it's at midnight.
I hope she's going to be asleep by midnight.
So I'm definitely going to,
Yeah, you don't want to wake up.
I understand that.
I understand that.
But I'm with you.
Multitask shit.
I know you were saying hearing something you like and then playing it back.
What's our over under with, we can even add this to the spreadum segment.
What's over under of how long it takes DeMaris to get from 29 intro to 26?
How many times she bringing the intro back?
See, I don't know.
It may take 30 minutes for her to get to 26.
But see, this is my only issue with Baby D because she love Cole so much.
I don't know if she can be objective if it's not good enough.
That's not true.
I don't know if I believe that.
I never understood that because when Cole did what he did,
I was one of the first people to come in here just like, man, I'm sad as
as fuck he did that shit.
I made videos about it and everything.
Like I speak on when I don't like shit, I do that with all of my favorite artists.
Like when people say I'm biased with favorite artists and shit, I critique Cardi, I critique
Janet, I critique Cole, I could critique Drake.
I critique all of these things.
All right, that's cool.
But how come when I said what I said and express how I felt about what he did, you
was like giving me pushback and mad at me?
I was not bad.
I was expressing what you felt.
And the exact clip that you're talking about, you can hear me in the back laughing.
That's not true.
Now, the only time you've gotten critique from me is afterwards when you would say,
I think you said his career was over and I was like, that's not true.
That when you was like, his career, his career is done.
Committed career suicide.
Yeah, I was like, that's not true.
But did you understand what I was saying, though?
I understood what you were saying, but I still disagree.
I don't, I don't think that that's true.
But I get what you were saying.
But many people, even now have come out and echoed the same symptoms I have.
Like, his words don't really.
I'm still going number one.
we like you see
I'm saying
listen we not we know that's never
you've never heard me say his album is it going
you never to hear I didn't I didn't I didn't I wouldn't say that
I'm just saying like what I was saying
24
and all the way to today
was his words
a certain way that he talked is just not
it don't land the same it don't mean the same
and this is coming from other artists and rappers
that are saying the same things that I'm saying like
it just don't because as an emce
that's all you got and I get it
But I completely understand what you're saying.
And that was one of the reasons why I was so upset.
Like, I was one of those people who have been fighting for Cole to be respected since
fucking 2011.
I was on Twitter arguing with people about Cole.
Like, I get it.
I get it.
So I'm open to, if it's not it, it's not it.
But it's never not been it.
So I can't, like, I don't know how to speak from that.
Like, as a fan of other artists, I've had albums where it was like, this ain't it.
Outside of For Your Eyes Only, which got heavy critique, it ain't never not been it for Cole.
So I'm not.
Yeah.
Hey. Yeah, we lit. Oh, I meant to say, and we can move on soon. I meant to say, I think you owe me a bit of an apology.
Oh, you owe, every episode, you come with some bullshit. What I owe you? Because you really mean to me often.
Maybe I, I told you off, Mike, not anything I said on camera, that, hey, I think the fall off is coming in August. This was of last year.
Because I was told people involved with the tour, they was hitting them, like, yo, you free, you free, you free. We need you for the whole tour. And it was going.
to start in August.
So I was like, we're getting the fall off, obviously, before that.
If you saw Cam Ron on his podcast, give the timeline of where their disagreement started,
he said, Cole told me, let's do the interview in June.
That's when the falloff is coming out.
And then Cam hit him in June.
And Cole was like, damn, you hit me right in June, huh?
I'm pushing it back.
So you were really mean to me when the falloff ended up not coming.
And I said, yo, this was the information that I was doing.
June last year?
Yeah.
24 last year
okay
I just don't think I deserve some of the abuse
that I get from from the merits
you deserve every bit of abuse I gave you
so I had I had very accurate information
I could abuse you more I should abuse you more
especially in February
like I threatened you with the belt a lot I could pop ass
more mm-hmm you feel me
I just I just cannot wait to come here Monday
after hearing this album how mad would you guys be
and it's good that Trey is here as well
shout the Trey
Because I don't have Twitter now, if I took over the New Rory and Mall Twitter at midnight to live tweet about every song.
Yeah, no, Trey, don't do that.
Hide the password.
Change the password.
Change the password on my own.
Shit is crazy.
Change the password.
Please don't let him do that.
Jesus Christ.
I wouldn't follow us.
I would unfollow us.
Remember that used to be fun, though, on Twitter when you would just live tweet of what was like happening at the moment?
Yeah.
We still do that.
You just don't have on Twitter.
I got the New Rory Moll one.
I used to hack New Roy and Mall Twitter all the time
I'd be DM on people like yo this Trey
Yodish Trey
Yodish Trey
Saying what though
Yotish Trey
Look at my dunk videos
It's so funny how like all of the listeners
Well a lot of the listeners
Like they think we do everything
So like whenever anybody types anything
Maybe like yo Demaris Pidge
I'm like it's not like it's not me
I'm the New Rory
We have a social media fucking person
Like yeah
I'm not saying you're tweeting from that
And and I know
know this versus won't happen, but I do want to challenge all you other podcasts. We have the most
athletic digital manager in the game. Nobody's, nobody's seeing our social guy on the court. I just want
to make that very clear. You know, on Instagram, go see what time it is. Go do like a fake dribble in
front of the camera. A fake dribble. Yo, go pro like Ma. Trey, please don't do that.
A flagrant too. Your show is named after a fucking sports phrase. Go see Trey on the court.
Please don't do that. You're not seeing our team. You're not athletic.
though.
Yeah.
He's not seeing
Tre.
Shultz can box
and play ball.
Yeah.
He ain't seeing
Trey.
The basketball, though.
Trey put,
no, Trey is beating
Andrew Shultz in one-on-one.
You put Shultz
in the fucking who.
Shultz can bowl.
I've seen footage in ball.
Yeah.
And I was actually shocked
when I saw him box.
I was like, oh,
that was for you
because you remember
he was talking crazy
about him that one time?
We even had that conversation
and I was very,
very honest when you
had asked me how you
think that fight would go.
I said his reach
and I could see he could fight.
I saw one of his angles.
I was like, oh, yeah, I'm losing a shelter.
There's something about saying, like, his reach.
I don't know.
I don't like the way that sound.
I mean, it's a pretty big factor in boxing.
I know, I get it.
I just don't like it.
It's hard to beat someone up.
His reach on you.
Like the word moist.
Like you make me uncomfortable.
Moist makes you uncomfortable?
Like the word.
The word moist makes you uncomfortable?
For real?
Mm-hmm.
It's like awkward to use in a sentence.
So if you, I just bake the cake.
If I have a slice of it like, you know, baby this is really moist.
like yeah you see
and I don't
she said oh you see no I don't
like I'm using it in the correct phrase
like yo baby this cake is what you add
extra mayo to this like
yeah
yeah okay
I'm sure there will be someone in the comments
agreeing with me that's like a thing
moist okay it's like the sound your tongue makes when you say it
like the oi like it's I don't like it
baby do you like niggas that like rewere
I don't like niggas ha got you
got me I'm sorry
I forgot.
I forgot what type of time?
You feel got?
Yeah, I got.
I'm got.
What were you saying?
Do I like niggas that one, baby?
Do you like, uh, do you like dudes that like re-wear they, the same socks they had on yesterday?
Who the fuck would like that?
What the fuck?
Who would like that?
That's dirty.
Some of your favorite, some of your favorite niggas.
Well, first of all, how you know that?
Because niggas is dirty.
You know, niggas is dirty.
You, so you've seen, what niggas you've seen that wake up and roll over and put their same socks on?
There's been plenty of niggas that spent the night at the crib.
And I'm like, well, you ain't going to go home and like,
Like, no new underwear, no new socks, nothing, just same.
Yeah, like, yeah.
Like, what you don't do?
Nothing worse than the briefs when you got the, oh, gosh.
It's like the bacon collar shit they call on your drawers.
No, I'm cool.
That's, that's fucking, I can't lie.
There's definitely been nights that I'd expect I was staying somewhere,
and I don't like sleeping in socks.
I got to put them socks back on in the morning.
No, no, I don't.
I'm going right home to shower.
My homie got to give me some socks.
He's talking about a girl.
Yeah.
Oh.
She got to give me some socks.
She doesn't fuck the Nick.
Give me them, give me the practice.
She doesn't fuck the Nick.
Yo, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me, give me,
don't do that.
Josh Hart is married.
I mean, well, yes, I mean, hypothetical.
And he lost his virginity to his wife.
Never slept in anyone else.
For real?
No.
Oh, I don't know.
You put that on his decade.
That's honorable.
Are the Knicks doing well?
They are.
What are we at?
Six, seven in a row?
Eight.
Eight.
So we're going to the next.
the playoffs.
They definitely.
I mean, we're number two in the East.
Yeah, they're definitely going to the playoffs for sure.
What's that?
It's good year for the next.
We're going to get Detroit out of it.
Trade deadline is today.
Well, shit, actually in 30 minutes as we're recording this.
Janus, I thought, I thought Janus was going to the Warriors, but I forgot him and
Mike Dunleavee still have a little beef.
So we're not going to see Janus and stuff, at least not this year.
Don't know what that looks like next year.
They got Chris Stap's Porzengis.
I guess.
It is what it is.
I like.
to see Porzingis still in the league.
I like it.
Yeah, but he got to stay healthy, man.
Porzingis has always hurt, man.
He's always hurt.
Listen, that was one of those trades
that I was completely wrong about.
We got rid of Porzingis,
and next time, you know,
we do this every time.
Why I make the worst decisions ever?
And we were correct.
No, but I understand why you felt like that in that moment
because at that time, Porzingis was,
they were talking about him and Janus.
That's who they was comparing.
Like, yo, when you take Yonnas?
So I'm like, word?
This is a real conversation.
But, yeah, I mean,
In retrospect, I was wrong.
That was the greatest trade.
Oh, yeah.
The Knicks possibly could have had to get this new regime.
I thought the Knicks were going to get, make a run at Yannis as well.
That doesn't look like it's going to have.
But then again, it is 30 minutes left, so we could be completely wrong.
It could be something going on.
Cat.
Cat.
Cat for the Greek?
Cat, McBride, Hart.
Nah.
For Yannis?
I will go help them niggas pack their lockers.
Your family.
Y'all got to get the fuck about it.
There's a reason his last name is Hart.
I love pissy.
What the fuck does that mean?
That means nothing.
It's the heart of the-
His arena's Yonis' last name is Ante Tocompo.
It's a reason.
It's a reason his last name's up to Tocoucau.
Can you imagine like Astoria if we ever got Janus?
Astoria.
Can you imagine the garden and Janus first game coming out that tunnel?
Shit.
He got to be a Nick, bro.
Like it's either it's either the Knicks or even Golden State is cool, but the
market is not to say.
Yonis, I think belongs in New York.
He belongs in New York.
He looks like the type of, he's the type of player that he should be in New York.
I don't know when it's going to happen, but, I mean, you know, we have to wait and see.
They did get Alvarado, though.
The Knicks did get Alvarado.
I like that pick up for the Knicks.
Yeah, I thought it was cool.
Where are you at with your squad?
Don't try to cherry pick us now.
What's up with your Lakers?
I'm going to be honest.
Love LeBron, great player.
But I think it's, I think it's time.
I think we got to just give LeBron as flowers, you know,
but we got to move past the LeBron era in L.A.
Send old yellow out to pasture.
It's not, I don't want to say send him out to pet, but it's like, it's not,
they're never going to, we've got to be honest.
LeBron and Luca is not going to work.
And be honest, I don't know if Luca works with anybody, honestly.
Like, Luca, he's a great talent.
I don't know if it looked good with Kyrie.
They obviously went to the finals with Dallas.
But Luca and LeBron, I mean, even when that first happened, I mean, it sounds great.
It's still the, to me, still the craziest trade in NBA history.
Dallas trading Luca to the Lakers is still like, there was no like rumors of it.
It just happened one day.
We looked at our phones and was like, what the fuck?
We said it was fake.
Yeah, like Luca's a Laker.
It sounds good when you hear Luke and LeBron.
Obviously, you know, but just looking at it, you know, LeBron being 40 plus years old now,
still in great shape, still playing great.
It's just, you know, it's not going to work in L.A.
And I think that the Lakers can only begin to rebuild and try to get back to a certain level.
And it's not like they're playing terrible.
They're not like stinking it up.
Hey, you want to shit in the playoffs.
Exactly.
That's my point.
They're not going to do nothing in the playoffs.
So it's just like, we got to move past the LeBron era.
You got to get the keys to Brony, keys to the city?
That's his bleak, fade to black?
No, that's, no, that's not going to happen.
Brony will not have the keys to L.A.
That will not happen.
But, yeah, I think once we move past the LeBronny,
era, you know, and, you know, thank LeBron for his, his illustrious career and everything that he did.
Then we can start rebuilding.
But right now, I mean, I'm going next, man.
I'm going to next.

Do you remember when Diana Ross
double-tap Little Kim's boobs
at the VMAs?
Or when Kanye said
that George Bush didn't like black people.
I know what you're thinking.
What the hell does George Bush
got to do with Little Kim?
Well, you can find out
on the Look Back at It podcast.
I'm Sam J.
And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick it here,
unpack what went down,
and try to make sense of how we survived it.
Including a recent episode,
with Mark Lamont Hill waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 is big to me not just because of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack all day, but just so you all know.
I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack.
So I'm starting to see that there's a through line.
We also have AIDS on the table right now.
Thank you for finishing that sentence.
Yes.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Really?
Yeah.
For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history.
Listen to look back at it on the IHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

I'm not worried about Policic.
I'm not worried about Balagan.
I'm not worried about McKinney.
My only concern is what happens in the back.
The biggest decisions.
If you're going to look at stats and numbers,
he has no shot at making this World Cup team.
And the truth about the U.S. national team.
It wouldn't be a huge surprise if our team ends up in the quarterfinals
or potentially a great run into the semifinals.
The World Cup is almost here.
Experience it all with us.

I went and sat on the little ottoman in front of him.
I said, hi, dad.
And just when I said that, my mom comes out of the kitchen.
She says, I have some cookies and milk.
This is a badass convict.
Right.
Just finished five years.
I'm going to have cookies and milk at my mom.
Yeah.

While we were recording just now, Jay,
Co dropped a teaser saying album out at midnight.
I mean, it's the greatest, it's the greatest teaser in rap history.
It's a classic movie.
The greatest teaser.
You got a common delight in that shen.
Come on, man.
He teased you?
I'm teased.
I think my nipples are hard.
Yeah, I love that.
Demaris is moist.
She's definitely moist.
You know, getting moist about to fall on.
She heard that calm and flipping got moist.
Fuck you laughing at, Trey.
and Adila flip two see.
Oh, man.
That's what Cole does, though, man.
He's going to give you that soul sample, man.
I fall for it every time.
Yeah, like, how are you?
That's like the Jordan fade away.
He can't go away from that.
It's money.
It's money every time.
Cole wraps on a soul flip?
Nah, yeah.
What are we talking about?
What else I need?
He's not going to lose.
If he did, if it's 24 of those, then, yeah, it's a classic.
I mean, what I thought was so crazy, though, after he dropped that.
They pushed the Super Bowl back because of the fall off?
I think they're going with next Sunday.
Let me tell you what's not going to happen.
I can promise you.
I knew Jay Cole had power.
What will be happening on Sunday is the Super Bowl will be happening on Sunday.
I don't get a fuck who album is dropped.
Because of Rock Nation.
They tried, but Rock was like, no.
Yeah.
They tried.
They tried to push you back, but no.
But now that we are back to some sports here,
listen, man, should I do my victory lab now?
How come you guys never show up with flowers for me?
I cleaned you up in our spread them segment.
This is Spreadum.
Sponsored by Hard Rock Bet.
I was talking to people at Hard Rock
and they was like, yo, come to our Super Bowl party, but don't
like, we've seen you clean
mall up so he can't come.
So, you know,
you have to name a thousand rappers on stream.
No, I need my get back,
yo, double nothing.
Bet it back.
Oh, you wanted them.
Bet it back.
Who you're taking it in the game? Bet it back.
Bet it back? I'm taking the Patriots.
At four and a half?
I'm taking the Patriots at four and a half.
All right, I'll go with Seattle.
That's all it takes?
I ain't even sound confident in that.
No, if that's all it takes, cool.
I mean, I don't even know why I would do that.
Bet it back.
Matter of fact, if I'm, no, let's take it further.
I said, I think two episodes ago that I think Cardi B is coming out on Bad Bunny set.
This is the way we'll bet it back.
You got to name 2,000 rappers if Cardi B comes out on Bad Bunny set.
I'll clear our spread them debt in a heartbeat.
And if I'm wrong, I will name the thousand rappers.
But if I am correct, you nameing 2,000 rappers.
We're going to be here for a week.
I don't think 2,000 rappers exist.
Like, make him do something like push-ups.
I would just start making up names.
Make him do some like 1,000 rappers and then like you got to do like a thousand push-ups or something.
We both rap before.
That's two.
Hey, I don't know if I liked that bet.
2,000 rappers?
That's some insane.
That's crazy.
You got to do 1,000 push-ups.
You got to come at every day this year and do push-ups.
Peas want to do a hot talk challenge.
Pete's tried to make us do
and Hard Rock, if you're listening,
we should add this into the
the interface of Hard Rock, but
the sour grape challenge that
Pete tried to get to do.
That was the worst shit of them.
You have to finish a whole bag of them.
Okay, I like that.
A thousand rappers plus a whole bag of sour grapes.
My, my jaw is just clinched
and thinking about that shit.
I wish I could have seen Maul's face
eating at that hour of grade.
I'm too old for shit like that.
My taste buds is, I can't take that.
Yeah, that's, I mean,
but all right, if you scare, say you scare.
I'm not scared.
You scared?
Go to church.
A whole bag in them, sour grapes.
I can't do that.
That's impossible.
So do you think Cardi B is going to come out?
You don't want to risk it?
Not that I don't want to risk it.
I don't think she's going to come out.
I'd have to make the bet.
I don't see Cardi B.
I just, because they performed,
well, Bad Bunny performed that song, that record.
I like it.
Years ago with Shakira and Shiloh.
It wasn't with, it wasn't with Cardi.
It wasn't with Cardi.
Cardi will obviously be at the Super Bowl
because her child's father.
Yeah, he's playing, Stefan,
is playing in the game.
So it's not far-fetched that she'll pop out
since she'll already be there.
I think she's going to come out with, with Stefan.
I just don't know if, like out the tunnel?
Like during the performance.
I don't even think he's going to be in there
for a half-time adjustments.
They're going to make a moment.
Yeah, I don't know.
I don't think she's going to come out for his set.
I can't.
see her coming out.
All right.
Well, then, all right, we're taking.
Our bet here is.
Bet it?
She's not coming out.
Bet it?
Bet it.
Is with our spread out?
It's four and a half with the Patriots.
I'm taking the Patriots.
Taking the Patriots.
I'll take Seattle.
And we're taking a.
But now what happens if Patriots win, but Cardi comes out?
You don't see that happening, Trey?
I'm just saying what happens if the Patriots win and Cardi comes out?
Did I lose?
Tie goes to the runner, I guess.
I'm just saying phrases.
Ha?
Huh?
Then maybe we have to name.
While eating 50
Monterellas fixed.
While eating 50 Monterellis.
Okay.
If it ends up being a tie,
I have a really good compromise.
If it ends up being a tie,
I'll name a thousand rappers.
You have to eat the sour grape challenge.
Both on the same stream.
At the same time.
Pause.
That's fucking,
how many grapes is in that bag?
40?
I can't eat 40 regular
If they say on the bag
Don't eat 40 of these in one sitting
You know
Ma can eat 20
We'll make Ma'll eat 20
What do we do with your
Mazzrella sticks?
Whoa, y'all wanted me to eat
34 or something like that
No, you said you could eat that
We didn't want you to do anything
You claimed what they could
I think you tapped out at that time
She didn't eat 30 nothing
I tapped up at like 17
All right you got to eat 17
She did not eat 17 mozzarella sticks
How you want to tell me?
Because I was on stage
Watching you
You were on stage performing and doing your thing
And watching your thing.
Doing your thing.
She didn't eat 17
mozzarella stick.
No fucking way.
We weren't clocking it.
I mean, I'll give,
Edna's honest.
I think Edna was clocking it
correctly on the screen.
Because we had the number thing going, right?
Yeah, Pete.
Oh, nah.
Yes, the Pete was gassing it.
He was just, yeah.
She didn't eat that many
mozzarella sticks.
You crazy.
Demaris would have threw up all over that fucking things.
15 sour grapes.
If we tie.
Why don't make your shit easy for him?
You got to name a thousand rappers.
This thing I could eat a fucking grape.
Like 15 of those?
Dave, that's torture.
That shit tastes terrible.
You could take five shots with me.
Potential sponsor.
Take five shots.
Five shots of tequila with me or you could do 15 grapes.
Pick one.
We are not encouraging drinking and vetting at the same time.
I just want to make that clear.
I think that's in the fine bring.
Give me 15 grapes.
I ain't taking five shots.
Five shots is a lot.
I don't drink.
Yeah.
Give me 15 grapes.
I drink in five shots.
Because I could drink water.
I could drink.
water after I eat each grape.
Like that's...
That's gonna make them more...
And if I can name a thousand rappers,
you'll have some time.
Yeah, yeah.
I can spread them out.
They'd be the real spread them.
That'll be the real spread them.
I'm taking the page is four and a half.
So on the good hard rock name,
that's the bet?
Yes, sir.
That's our hard rock bet right there.
Boom!
So Super Bowl predictions outside of that,
um,
did you guys watch media day?
No.
I didn't see the media day.
Damaris, we pull up a,
that beautiful young lady
that stole the show.
As Pige brought up a good point, there's no real stars this year.
There's potential stars that I think will become stars in the NFL, but there's no like, you know, A-list legacy act in this Super Bowl.
Stefan Diggs is probably the most popular outside him being talented, but, you know, personal life.
It was a mediocre media day.
And thank God this beautiful woman came in and saved the day.
Oh, that's generica?
Yeah.
Generica, does he say that name?
She might be
Generica
It might be generica
But I think it's generica
Generica Owens, yeah
And I mean
I think media should dress this way
Not teachers
But I'm fine with this fit
I think this is a great fit
Are you fond of this one?
This one is a perfect fit
Perfect media day fit
She looks good
She looks amazing
Yeah she looks good
And
The internet was killing her
But she's powerful
Why?
They were saying that
Some slacks would have did it job
Like you could have just worn pants
Like it was unprofessional
Okay, I can see people's hair
I can see it too
I'm not gonna lie
But
Yeah
And she
It's the
She doesn't have a shirt on
It's cleavage
Yeah
Oh yeah
I mean
What did Demer say
During our teacher debate
Like she can't change
How her body is shaped
That's fine
But like
Just media period
And I'm
Listen I'm cool
What she wearing
But I'm sure people
Are just thinking
Like media period
You just could have
Pants
Like the shorts
I ain't ever even
See no slack shorts
She should have wore
Like a Hillary Clinton
pants.
She looked good though.
She killed that.
She looks amazing.
But I can understand.
I can see people pushing back on a media day type of thing around a bunch of,
you know,
players and things like that.
I could,
I get how people can.
I mean,
should we at least have better expectations for our players?
I mean,
I get CTE can change the brain,
but they should be able to handle a woman with their thighs out.
I'm not saying that.
I'm not saying that.
I'm just saying like a lot of the guys,
a lot of players are married, things like that.
You know,
I could see how people would make.
that a thing. I get it. I don't,
I wouldn't give a fuck. I think she looks amazing.
Only a wife would get mad at you for you doing an interview. I didn't pick her
outfit. What you want me to do?
Yeah, I mean, but again, it would be a kind of like, uh-huh.
Women in media.
He was over there answering them questions a little,
yeah. You was over there. That interview was a little long.
She was asking poignant questions.
Yeah, no, she broke the game down amazingly, sweet.
And we talked that, we exchanged numbers just because she thinks she could help me
with my PR image. And I was thinking hiring her as a
consultant. Public speaking.
Yeah, and I told her you was my homegirl.
Yeah.
Imagine saying that to your wife.
Spell poignant for me, Rory.
Who?
Rory.
Spell what?
Poignant.
P-O-I-N-T-N.
That's crazy.
That spelling is crazy.
That is not like you spelled point.
You spell point.
You spell point.
Yent.
Why you spell point?
Because that's the root word.
You don't even understand English.
Oh, shit.
Oh, shit.
Oh, shit.
You went to the root word.
Huh?
You spell it.
Poignant?
Mm-hmm.
P-O-I-N-T.
No.
No?
P-O-I-N-T.
P-O-I-G-N-A-N-T.
Can we confirm that page?
P-O-I-G-N-T.
P-O-I-G-N-T.
It feels like it's a G-N-A-N-T.
It feels like there's a silent one in there.
What I said, P-O-I-N-T?
Mm-hmm.
Poignant.
I thought I was the closest.
Poignant.
Poignant.
Point-y-E-N-A-P-N-T.
Got it.
I mean, we're elevating.
But yeah, media day,
well, women is hard enough for people to say.
Generica look great.
Shout out to Generica on.
She looked good.
Media day used to be kind of funny.
Do we have another angle of the fit, of the look?
There was some videos.
I'm just trying to see the other, like,
generic, she had that shit on.
She looked great.
Yeah.
Now, Jalen, you have continued.
They're still sitting.
You know, which just shows, like,
no matter what she got on.
Yeah.
So.
Yeah, she looked good.
She looked good.
I wanted to talk about her interview style and that,
but I mean, cool, if you guys want to be horny.
I was just saying she asked great questions.
I didn't hear with you.
I'm just, they're talking about the outfit.
I didn't, I'm sure she's great at her job,
but she looked good as well.
She looked good doing her job.
She is good at her job.
She looked great.
She looked great.
She looked great.
She looked great.
Do you think any moments are really going to happen at the Super Bowl
outside of the game?
I mean, obviously last year,
which we don't have to talk about that was just a big thing.
I do think Bad Bunny is going to have a whole,
section dedicated to saying fuck ice.
I think the choreography and dancing may say fuck ice.
I think he may wear a dress.
I think he's going to push the envelope with everything that's happening right now.
Do you think his viewership beats out last year?
Easy.
You know how many Latin countries are tuning in for this shit.
That's the cheat code with everything.
Like how global.
All Latin artists have that cheat code.
You know how many Latin-speaking countries there are?
But you have to think, though, Moll.
They are competing with the Turning Point Kid Rock Show.
Mm-hmm.
That's Sunday, too?
Yeah, at the same time.
They're boycotting.
God forbid.
The All-American, I think it's called.
A Puerto Rican is allowed to perform.
Is that is that the thing that ludicrous turned down?
No, no.
That was a completely different.
I was a little bit of a festival.
The All-American halftime show with Kid Rock,
Brantley, Gilbert, Lee Bryce, and Gabby Barrett.
What a lineup.
Yeah, yeah, they're about to pack Bad Bunny up.
They're about to pack him right up.
The All-American Half-Top show.
That's what the number.
numbers that's gonna do numbers right there y'all got y'all got yeah got yeah got the all-american
halftime show fucked does erika kirk uh does she host erika kirk don't do that see is she is she
the uh is she the emce light of turning no she's not she's not and now to the stage chris rock
i can't even speak him to chris rock yeah you think chris rock is coming out for the
all-american a half-time show i was more proud of myself of getting a good mc light cadence
on it that I said the wrong name.
So we do, we do think that bad bunny is going to have a political statement.
Oh, obviously.
Absolutely.
After all Trump, different Puerto Rico with the paper towels, huh?
This is how y'all are you paying?
He tried to nuke the hurricane.
This is how y'all repaid.
I do, and we don't have to get into any of that.
I do hope that everything is safe outside at the stadium because obviously they've been
very vocal that ICE will be checking your tickets on the way.
Checking your tickets.
What the fuck?
literally ice
scanning your tickets
at the stadium
I really do pray that everything
this does not become
violent or a complete
fucking spectacle
propaganda machine
on this whole shit
and this is actually
the one time I just kind of
hope football footballs
yeah
I think it'll be all right
but I do think
Bad Bunny would
definitely do something
without vocal he's been
about the entire thing
I don't think he's going to take
this opportunity to now be quiet
about his political stance
So, you know, you'll have a bunch of think pieces on Monday morning.
They have nothing to do with the game.
I need to go to a Hispanic household to really enjoy the Super Bowl.
Like, I don't want to be with no niggas.
Like, I need to be with the people who understand what the fuck he's saying.
Like, I need to be that.
I need that type of energy.
The way I.
I.P.
Diggins say say T's.
D.
D. Nigginsethelphi.
Say cheese.
That's my shit.
I don't know what he's saying.
I think it's not like he said he takes the SATs.
That's what I call it from here.
This titi me
P.
IP.
You're going to need someone
like the way I...
Say cheese.
That's all I know.
Selfie say cheese.
That's all I know.
That's all I know.
IP.
IP.
Oh.
Ed and shit?
He owns his IP.
Marijuana, baby.
He's definitely doing that.
Baboni.
By bunny.
By bonny.
Baboni.
Baroni.
Barna.
But I'm laughing at Damaris' name to be a bita.
Like, I get you for the, for the moment to be around Spanish people to grab that, that feeling.
But for them to explain every word to you, the way you read the cold shit, like, nah, just let them enjoy the shit.
They don't got to translate in real time.
I don't need them to translate.
I just know they're going to have the type of energy I want.
Oh, yeah.
No, it's crazy.
You need to be around Spanish people for the kids.
Yeah, I want to go up to Bronx.
I'm going to watch the game in the Bronx.
Can I go home?
Yeah, come on.
You ain't coming up town.
You ain't coming up town.
Where do me?
I used to go up town for a, I used to go up town for a dick.
Oh, she's going to watch.
be a Crip up to pissy.
You every time.
Stop saying that.
What's funny
is I'm not joking.
I mean,
you stop saying that.
But you were like Wayne,
you got the red hair now
like Wayne did.
It used to be Crip.
And no,
you're on your 21 Savage.
You dropped your flag.
Yeah.
Like, you're just fucking streets.
Demarice did drop your flag.
Drop your flag challenge
with Demaris.
DeMaris, you dropped your flag.
Nah, that's honorable.
I respect that.
That's honorable.
You don't need to be in the streets no more.
You don't need to be in them streets no more,
baby, Dee.
Put that flag.
What the fucking?
I would love to see.
I wish I could time travel
and just see Baby D.
Like when she was 19, 20 in them streets.
I just want to see what you could.
Because I know you was all the way a bird.
No, I was not a bird.
At 19.
Wait,
but then we see a video of Baby D dancing bedfoot outside and with?
Yeah, but I was like her front yard.
I was like 10.
I was like 11, 10, 11.
I was young.
I for sure was a bird then.
But like I was.
19, you was a reform bird?
I wasn't a bird.
How was you at 19?
I was always a thug, not a bird.
I feel like a bird is different.
Like bird is like,
I was never that.
Oh, okay.
I was just like a little hood, nigga.
Like I was a little.
You was a hood rat.
Yeah.
When I was 19, I think my name on IG was trap godhove.
Yo, we're going.
That was my name.
Oh, before it was cool.
Are we done?
The trap like, I don't want to hear that baby.
She ushered in the trap god hole.
Trap God hole.
There'd be no trap lore Ross without Demarius.
That's the originator
Oh my God man
Tray, I'm not to tell on you
What you over there doing
So the volume
So it's everything so funny
You drop your flag
And start snitching
Yeah, that's what you
Drop your flag
Holy shit
Yeah, we move with the goal
Now
And speaking of y'all
Calling me a Bird
I just want to let you know that
For once the comments were on my side
They was on Major and Mitch ass
You're calling them a bird?
No, I'm not
Both them can fight
I am not
don't do that. Neither of them would ever drop their flag.
They would never drop their flag.
Women of color against each other.
Women of putting women against each other.
What they were saying in the comments.
But in the comments, they were calling Mitch and Major.
They were talking shit about them because they said that they would stay through cheating.
And I feel like that was them being honest.
A lot of women won't say that out loud.
They were being honest about it.
All right.
Well, Mitch and Major is on their way now.
And we're going to let them know what they're saying about them in the comments.
They're on y'all ass.
Yeah.
Mitch and Major, they're going to be on y'all ass.
They were calling us fatherless.
It's because we all know women that have caught
They're eating multiple times
And they will lie
Women ain't leave
We see them all the time on social
When y'all date these football players
And these basketball players and these rappers
And they be running y'all through the mud
Get a girl pregnant on y'all y'all y'all.
So they lying
It's the men too if they were calling
But this is the thing
Humans stay through cheating
I don't even want to make that woman thing
I'm gonna have Mitch and Major
I'm gonna have Mitch and major
I'm gonna have Mitch and make them watch how many niggas and
Yo, what's good?
Yo, what's good?
You free next week?
I mean, now that I know I can cheat on you, of course.
Yeah, but I'm just saying that.
Trust me.
Niggas don't care.
Yeah.
And the women that were saying that,
I'm sure the women that were the most vocal about their opinion
be listening to Beyonce all night after they man cheat.
I'm going to cuddle up and rubble on you after I forgive you.
She's just going to take me some time.
Women will stay for man cheats depending on who the man is.
Sometimes.
Not all women, but sometimes.
I don't judge.
Okay.
I'm never putting an all woman in one box.
I'm just saying women.
We should.
No, we should.
But humans.
I just feel like that's a human thing.
Like, that's why it be so many men like,
men are king of, I don't want to know.
I'm not going through no phone.
We're not going to even talk about that.
Because niggins stay when a girl cheat too.
So that's what I'm saying.
That's what I'm saying.
Oh, you're not.
You're cap.
Yo, you cap.
Y'all niggas.
Y'all don't see the video.
Oh.
Y'all don't see her getting all kind of shit.
Hello.
And still be right there.
Like, yo, we could work past this.
but just promise me you ain't going to do that again.
Promise me you ain't going to do that.
Yo, I know I've talked about depression on this podcast before
and possibly being unalived myself at some point.
I'm telling you if I ever go through that,
it's because I saw a video.
That would, oh my God, I could never fathom that.
Seeing the video.
I know dudes that stay.
I don't even want to put that in the universe for me.
I know dudes that stay.
That would crush me.
I'm telling you how pussy I would be in that situation.
I know dudes.
I know dudes that stay.
That would kill me.
I'm no dudes that stay.
They stay.
They'll stay through it.
Oh my dude.
They'll see the video.
I knew you was fucking that nigga still.
I knew you was still.
Y'all ain't never got waking up out your sleep.
Y'all like never mind, man.
Anyway.
Waking about your sleep for a video?
No, of course.
No.
Sorry.
I forgot we his potter.
Woken about your sleep because I've seen the video.
You're not, you're not.
There's no way you think you're waking up.
You doing a duet with Elvis is you, Elvis, Tupac, all of you are the scene,
your album dropping the same thing.
Like, if I go through your phone, why you sleep and see you sucking and humping on another man?
I promise you, Maw's cousin's going to show up in your sleep and say, I'm coming for you.
Yo, I'm here to get you.
Yeah.
Like the candy man.
Are you crazy?
You're not waking.
That's what we're the most peaceful transition you ever out in your life.
You didn't even know you dead.
You ain't even going to have no.
clue. Smooth, quick, clean, easy. All right, man. Let's get out of here. Listen, man, Jay Cole,
don't disappoint me, please, because I don't want to come here and hate your album. I'm looking
forward to enjoying your album. Bulley pushback because of it. Bulley pushback. Kanye got out the way.
He got to go to Israel. Super Bowl to Sunday. It's going to be a good weekend. Good,
entertaining weekend. Can we go get hookah? I don't do hookah. I don't do hookah. But you be
around, bichers that do hookah. Why, when I'm the bitch, that one of hookah, you don't want to be around.
Who will be around, do hook? Last Sunday, you was on camera. You was just at me
I meet I doing hookah.
No, I wasn't.
Oh, and Treve.
Yeah, but that wasn't my boy from
L.A. that's not in New York, often came to town.
Trey.
And, Trey, you smoke hookah?
He said, I smoke everything.
Cray.
Are you okay?
Do you need help?
He said, I smoke everything.
He should be a fucking, the face of a vape.
If you could dunk like that and smoke hookah,
maybe the side effects are fine.
Oh, man.
All right, we'll talk to y'all soon.
Be safe.
Be blessed.
Stumb that nigga, he's just ginger.
Peace.
Happy fall off Eve.
A win is a win.
A win. A win is a win.
