Yeah, I'm just like, all right, man. Like, are you at Hot 97 calling somebody your closest friend to see who would react to you having a heart attack on stroke? Oh, remember those, those radio games? So I thought this was one. Okay, okay, we're always not going to ask me for $2 million, but, you know, I had a stroke just to see what my reaction would be.

our Thursday episode that came out last well two Fridays ago I guess at this point I left a lot of information out about going to the Jay Z reasonable doubt 30th anniversary of friends and family thing left like a huge part of what happened

during that entire thing so let's go back to when two Wednesdays ago yeah I go to therapy I go to the gym had a very healthy, great day. I get in the car, and I'm going to head to the Jay-Z friends and family,

pop-up, opening, whatever, you were going to join me as well. I get to the parking garage in Dumbo. I was about like an hour early. I was going to stop and get food at Dumbo house. You know, it was a nice day. I was going to look at the water, whatever, chill until the pop-up.

Try to skip traffic. Get into the parking garage, park my car, I'm walking up the ramp. I feel a little bit of vertigo. If you guys have remembered over the past, I don't know, like six months, I've told you guys I've been having like weird vertigo. Yeah.

I'm wearing glasses. Everyone's like, you're a douchebag. You're in sunglasses on the show. I'm like, I can't see lights anymore. Lights is really fucking with me. Yeah. I take one step. I have a little bit of vertigo.

I was like, oh, fuck, vertigo back. Take a right step. The whole fucking world starts violently spinning. No, like to the point I cannot see violently spinning. I fall on an oil-induced New York City parking garage floor. And I lay there, hoping to God a car does not come because I'm on a fucking ramp. And you probably couldn't seem, I'd probably be a speed bump.

Yeah. I wouldn't mistake you for a speed bump if you were laying on the street. Thank God I wasn't wearing yellow. So I'm grabbing on for dear life on the side of a parking garage floor. It starts to calm down a little bit. I try to stand up.

I'm like rocking back and forth. I finally get out of the garage, find a bench, and the whole world starts spinning again. I'm like, what the fuck is going on? calms down I somehow stumble into a Starbucks at this point I don't know who was playing

during the day but the Dumbo streets were completely full outside with whatever country team was playing at the time it looked like fucking New Orleans in Dumbo so I fall into a Starbucks

and somehow get my shirt off because I'm sweating profusely and everything is spinning whatever team some Eastern European shit again I'm in the middle of a stroke so I'm not paying too much attention. I just look like I've been at a World Cup party

and I just had a little too much fun. I look like that guy. So I'm laying there. Starbucks, they give me ice, they put it on my head. There's a woman shout out to Mary and her son. I know you guys do not listen to the show, but she just kept saying to me, what drugs have you taken?

That's it. But that's the question you asked, right? The whole, I'm in the middle of a World Cup celebration. So yes, I look like I'm just some guy that took, probably did some Coke that ended up being fentanyl. And I'm drunk as fuck. And I'm trying to form sentences like, I'm not on drugs. I'm not, she's like, did you drink?

I was like, I have not drank. So I'm trying to drink water. I throw up twice in the Starbucks. Just throw up. Clearly these employees are used to it. Didn't even bat. Yeah, that's a regular. Just gave me more eyes.

Yeah, it's a regular day for them. So Mary and her son stay with me for a little bit. And at this point. Is Mary and her son? Is this Jesus? Was this, Mayor? Look at the metaphors that. Jesus came.

Mom, for all I know, Mary was not there. Marrying her son. For all I know, I wasn't in Dumbo. I think this was, you might have died. I might have been having this dumpo. He keeps saying, marrying her son.

I'm like, who's marrying a judge? Down under the manger of Bethlehem. Yeah, come on. The major of the Brooklyn Bridge. Come on, man. Yeah, I get it. Yeah. The manger of Dumbo house.

Yeah, I get it. So I'm, again, sitting on the floor, Starbucks. I've already thrown up to a, give me water. At this point, things have stopped spinning. And my mind is relatively clear, but I can't get my body to function at the same time. Like at this point, I'm speaking and I'm like, no, I'm fine. I've had no drugs, no alcohol, but I can't like get my fucking legs and arms to move. Yeah. So Mary at this point is like, okay, she had been there for like an hour. Like, shout to her. I wish she did listen to the show so she knows that I wasn't just some fentanyl induced

kid that loves soccer. I was having a stroke. Because she thought I was lying. I was like, I have not taken any drugs. I was like, okay. Yeah. No. I'm not.

Sure. Tell me anything. Yeah, I get it. So she ends up leaving. I somehow get my legs to work a little bit. Like I'm starting to come back. It was weird, but cool. So I walk out of the Starbucks bathroom.

There's like one of those luxury buildings across the street. I'm like, let me see if I could just walk. I made it probably halfway through the crosswalk everything starts spinning again end up laying on a bench outside of a luxury building throw up two more times and mind you

like red vomit I didn't have anything red that day fucking security guard comes out again thinking that I'm some drug and infused guy he said how about a ginger ale that's a great I'm having a stroke

he offers you a Cold ginger out. I said great. Took two tips of that shit and projectile vomited everywhere. Oh my God. So I'm laying on this bench and again now my mind is completely clear

like functioning like it is right now but I still could not get my legs and arms to work. Yeah. So I lay there for, I don't know, maybe another 30 minutes and I'm like, all right, I have to get back to my car. Nah, fuck that.

You know what? I'll leave my car. I'll Uber home. Call an Uber. Shit, two minutes. My legs and arms go back to not functioning. So I'm trying to like hold my phone to tell the Uber driver that I'm not going to make it to the Uber. That cancels.

I wait another 30 minute. I feel like I'm back to normal. I'm walking a little bit, but I have vertigo. I'm like, all right, let me just walk around, get my bearings, and I'll get back in my car, and I'll go the fuck home. I didn't realize I walked towards the Jay-Z 30th anniversary thing. Oh, okay. I didn't realize in my walk. Jay Z's not even on my mind at this point.

I'm just trying to figure out if I'm alive. I see Vaughn, Tata's brother. He goes, yo, where's Moll at? And I immediately went, holy shit. I'm here for the JZ 30th anniversary. I forgot why I was in Dumbo. Yeah. I was like, oh, I have to ask Vaughn what I said.

Yeah. I have no idea what I said. You text me at that time. So he's like kind of in line. And then someone from the front goes, you're a mall right no I'm Rory she's like oh okay

you don't need to stand in line just come in I was like fuck so she walks me into the thing and the first person I see is Marissa Mendes I was so happy to see Marcia Mendes

yeah not mid-stroke though Mardi I have to call you I have no idea what our conversation was the only thing I remember is Madi going you don't seem very interested

in this conversation yeah I'm having a stroke. I'm having a stroke. It's not funny, but it's funny. I'm not laughing at you. I'm just laughing at the situation. So, body walks this way and I'm like, okay, cool.

The lights were lower, so I started to feel a little bit better. Rosenberg comes up to me, and it's talking about each piece that he's going to buy, what sizes are this. I'm staring into Abyss, and Rosenberg is like, yo, you want to get the yellow one? I was like, yeah, give me an X-L. Yeah. I have no idea what Rosenberg said to me after that.

Ebro was there. We could have had a full-blown conversation. I have no idea what anyone said. Walk, what I remember, passed them after that conversation. I may have, like, mid-conversation walked away from them and didn't realize it. I see Guru, and I just give him a pound and keep walking. And Kuro goes, since when the fuck do we do that? And gives me a hug.

And I'm like, oh, who's up, man? Yeah, everybody's like, yeah, Rory was definitely, he was high. on something for sure. I immediately get the fuck out of there after that. Run into Joey Badass. I have no idea what I said to Joey Baddust in the way out. And I try to walk up the hill back to the parking garage. Fall like twice.

Get to my car. I'm like, I can do it. I made it just to our office and parked outside of our office and slept here for like four hours. Woke up, went home. Next day, I felt okay. I felt weak, a little bit of vertigo. Then we recorded two fucking.

episodes here. Felt okay. I was like, I'm gonna get checked out tomorrow. Thursdays, and I'm not advocating for this. This was dumb of me. I should have went to the hospital right away. Yeah. This is just man shit.

Like Thursday, yo, can't miss two episodes. So I'm like, cool, I'll just go Friday. Friday, I'm like, I have to stop at Target before I get tomorrow. Then I'll go get checked out. I get into Target, hit the target lights. The only way I could describe it was I could only see kaleidoscopes. It's the only thing I could see, like rainbow kaleidoscopes. I fall out and target.

The old woman that they paid $2 an hour in the front to check your receipt was like, are you okay? And it's the brand new one in Jersey City. It's still a little fenty over there. Not to make it. It's a little fentany all over there. So once again, I think people think I'm just some drug addict.

Lay there until it passes. Drive myself to the hospital, explaining what happened. And they're like, well, we don't think you had a stroke, but we'll figure out what it is. What drugs do you want? I'm not on any fucking drugs. Yeah, this is going to always go back.

back to that. So they give me a cat scan right away. By the way, if you've ever been to a hospital on the line was long at the ER, just say you're having stroke symptoms, you get right through. Get a cat scan right away. They come in, they're like, we think you had a stroke. I was like, all right, let's do the real test and then we can figure out what it is. Then they send like the cooler, younger doctor. He's like, you know, this isn't like a police precinct. It's okay, you can talk to me. No one's going to say you can't get in trouble. Just tell me the drugs that you're on. I say, you could take my blood, my piss. I am not on any drugs whatsoever.

Then the neurologist looks at the cascann and like, oh yeah, get this kid up to the fucking other wing. We may need to do surgery right now. I had a full-blown stroke for two days. And I just kept having more strokes. Whether it being Target, whether it was on Patreon, was Zip, whether I was at the Jay-Z shit. I just had a marathon of strokes for three days.

So when they got you in the room and it was, you know, going to give me you the cat skin and shit like at any point did you think that they was going to have to like go in your head? Yeah,

so I was waiting for the MRI because it was backed up to get an MRI and they had like, you know, people that were coming from like car accidents and shit

were ahead of me. Did the MRI and MRI and I forgot with the reverse shit they call it. But I just sit for an hour and a half an MRI machine.

I've heard about MRIs before. I didn't know that your nose can touch the top of it. You can't move for an hour. that was one of the worst things I've ever done.

If you're claustrophobic, MRIs are the worst fucking thing. And I found out that Frank Ocean blonde, he got all the sounds from the MRI machine. If you've had an MRI, go listen to blonde. The transition on nights is the MRI machine. The whole time I'm like,

I've heard this record playing that. I've heard this record before. Are they playing blonde? Yeah, yeah. If I ever meet Frank Ocean, I'm going to add like, have you had an MRI before? Yeah.

Because all of blonde is MRI style machine. Like, that's all the shit is. And it came. back and they were like, yeah, you had a couple strokes in the cerebellum, and yeah, they were like, we'll see if the cholesterol medicine can do it, but if not, we'll either have to cut your head open, or there

was one where they could just go in, like, with like a, I'd still be under whatever the shit is called. Yeah, anesthesia. But they would just like take like a needle thing and like fuck around. Like a small row. Yeah, yeah. So hopefully that doesn't have to happen. Hopefully with the

next week, I'll be fine. Lint the medication. We'll see. Have a heart monitor. Did heart echoes and shit. Yeah, so they got you meds and just a heart monitor. Damn.

Yeah, I ain't gonna lie. You told me a stroke. I was like, like, we came in here and we was all just looking at each other like, bro, what? Well, the funny satisfaction was once they took my urine

and all my blood and everything came back lifestyle-wise that had nothing to do with my stroke, now it's like, oh, it could be a blood disease. That's what they're leaning to some type of clotting situation. because like even my like I don't eat great per se but I don't eat stroke at 36 years old

Yeah no no right So yeah it's it's probably something with my blood clotting But yeah it was it was a fucking scary few days man That's nothing to fucking play around with a stroke I started I ain't gonna lie You told me that shit and I think the next day I started catching the headache I said wait hold on man

You know that's how shit happened like Your boy tell you you went through something That you start getting them same type of symptoms I'm like yo listen man Like, nah, we both can't be stroking out. Like, this is what happened. We can't both be stroking out, bro. Stroking out.

Like, but I am happy that they have, you know, some type of control over it, you know, on meds and trying to figure out what happened. Yeah, no. Hopefully they won't have to get into your head because that type of invasive surgery is crazy. Oh, for sure. You know, we don't want that to happen.

So, yeah. Got to make some lifestyle changes. That's all. But listen, man. Shout out to Jersey City Medical. Everyone on staff was great. Thank you, Jersey City Medical for keeping food.

My brother's safe. Food was fucking terrible. Taking care of him, man. Dug, that shit. And, like, I'm very blessed that it wasn't, like, a stroke that affected, thank God, because at one point I could not move my legs or, like, thank God it didn't block something that was permanent. But I was in the wing with a lot of people that had strokes that left them with your unit damage. So it's the same, it's the same routine every morning of, like, asking where you are, why you're here,

which then I have to walk with the fucking walker and the cane and like it was almost scarier to see what it could have become because I have to go through all those steps. Because I was walking okay and now again I have bad vertigo for sure. But I'm operating okay. Those steps dog of like what this could be. Yeah. And my roommate John, yeah, man. It was eye opening to see what could have actually happened. And no, you shouldn't have a stroke at 36 and it's very alarming.

That's why I have the heart shit. I'm meeting with, you know, all the heart people too to make sure it's not affecting that. But the blessing is at 36 that I can, all the brain cells that died can rebuild them and shit. Like it's not like I'm 60. So, no, I shouldn't have a stroke at 36. But thank God my body can recover at 36 with that shit. All right. So now if you start, you know, saying shit on the mic that don't make sense.

I'm going to just. I'm just thinking you stroking out. So I'm not going to, I'm not going to hold it to you. I'm not going to be as hard on you. This whole time you guys thought I was mentally ill, autistic. No, I was, I was, I was mid-stroke. Mary thinks I'm on spend. No, guys, I'm just, I'm.

I'm just having this. I'm on the stroke spectrum. Yeah, yeah. Oh, man. But yeah, I'm glad you are feeling better, though, and now you're back in the studio with us today, man. Yeah. And, I mean, I'm definitely the advocate of, of, of,

once you, especially once you reach a certain age, to always checking your shit. But, you know, it's not like this is colon cancer. Yeah. Like something that you could check. I just went, I switched my health insurance, so I got a new primary doctor. You know, when you get a new primary doctor,

you go through the whole, get to know you, cuff your balls, cough, blood work, everything, just so they can have it in their records. He was like, perfect weight for 36. You're super healthy. Two weeks later, I'm stroking out in Dumbo, laying on a Starbucks floor. Yeah.

Like, that's the scary part. Like, it could go left, quick. Yeah. Like, shit, Kia's sister out of brain aneurysm, there's just certain things that no matter what you do and check up on your health, some things are just going to fucking happen. Happen, yeah. So. That's life.

Yeah. I mean, we'll see. But I feel okay. I feel like I could have came back last Wednesday, but you, Kia, DeBaris, nobody. That definitely was not happening. I got discharged Tuesday night. I was like, I'm back to go. No, no, no, no, no, no.

Just go home, rest. You don't need these lights in your face. Like just get some, you know what I mean? Just just chill, relax. Shout out to Zip. Zip came through for the week, held it down, man. Yes, love to Zip. Thank you so much for holding it down.
