Listen to everyone watches women's sports on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. This is Chelsea Handler from Dear Chelsea.
Starting point is 00:01:38 Every week, the news gets worse. The world gets crazier, and Yamanika is here to tell whoever's responsible, you're the problem. Do you know I just found out who Sidney Sweeney was? If he got a bunch of women,
Starting point is 00:01:51 then I should have a bunch of men. Do better or do less, so I don't have to do so much. I'm Yamanika, and I'm out. Listen to, to you're the problem with Yamanika on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Tamara, you should have practicing your Johnny P. Caddiverse. Women been showing out the last Philly. Yeah, they have. They showed out at the cold show. You got a lot of comp. Come on. Let's do a practice
Starting point is 00:02:53 round. I would never attempt to do that. I would never attempt to do that. Even if I could get every single word right, I know I will fuck up out of pure nervousness. I wouldn't even embarrass myself like that. But you actually know how to rap and your mannerisms like look natural. I feel like you would smoke that. Yeah, I would get nervous. Just because of whose concert it was, I would get nervous. No, you got to look cold in his eyes and do it. Look at what you want me to do. You want me to put on?
Starting point is 00:03:21 Yeah. Yeah. No. I'm mad we're going different days. If they come to me to do it, I'll do it. If they come to, well, you got to be prepared. What's the first four bars? I'm not doing that. what if they ask for like Acapoco not even with a beat like the whole arena I would get so nervous
Starting point is 00:03:38 my cheeks gonna turn so pink I'm cool for those that don't know Cole has his fans rapping that verse they brought some drunk girl by accident one time and I felt really bad for her
Starting point is 00:03:47 because she was right next to some guy that was sober and a Cole fan and she was just kind of mumbling her way through it was it was rough like she regretted that the next day for sure
Starting point is 00:03:57 yeah but I don't know what concert would you be able to do that with like a hover oh never Ryan Hove. Maul, what concert would you be able to do that with, like, rap word for word with the rapper?
Starting point is 00:04:08 Doja Cat. December 1st, Madison Square Garden, I'll be there. What, what song? You wouldn't get nervous looking her in the eyes? Nope. What song? Not at all. You look right into her soul?
Starting point is 00:04:21 I did Doja Cat to give me that. I did her to put the spotlight on me and the camera on me and ask me to rap. What song? Any song. Get into it, yeah? Any song. I could be Lido on the new joint. Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:35 Look at my eyes when I slide when he slide it in. No, when I- fucking on that time again. I'll change the words. I'll make it, you know. Look at her eyes when you slide in them. Heterosexual. I'll make it heterosexual.
Starting point is 00:04:47 Okay. Yeah. Okay. Have you seen a video for that? It's the longest video. It's almost as long as thriller. When you put it on loop, it's as long as you want it to be. That's the power of the loop.
Starting point is 00:05:01 Yeah, that new lot of Doja Cat. That's as long as roots. You know, remember Roots? same shit if you walk in my house it's just projected on the wall it just plays all day
Starting point is 00:05:08 his roots it's the Jackson 5 story and it's the doja cat lotto record it's a great video great cinematography
Starting point is 00:05:16 the lighting they recorded it themselves just the treatment was beautiful and the only thing I wish they did was put it in theater so it can be nominated
Starting point is 00:05:23 for an Oscar like if they had it in 30 days just having it for a month put it in theater select theaters around the city just so they can get
Starting point is 00:05:31 nominated for an Oscar for this that's all yeah that's the only The only thing I think they dropped the team dropped the ball on. They should have definitely put this in theaters. I mean, I get they wanted to get the video out, but, you know, submit to Sundance. Yeah, like they were supposed to work this thing.
Starting point is 00:05:44 Maybe it was South of France. Come on, man. Go through the proper channels. They look good. The biratials look good in this one. They look good. It was a good, good display of that. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:05:55 Is Doja cat biracial? Biracial unity. Mm-hmm. She is so? I didn't know that. Yeah. No, good display of Lotto's old rap name for sure. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:06:04 Yeah, man. Do you think she still, like, if she didn't change it? Because she changed at, like, the peak of the wokeness on the internet. Do you feel like she'd be okay if she was Milato still? Which, by the way, I never even, like, knew that was a bad word. Yes, she would be okay. I think so, too. Everybody would be fine.
Starting point is 00:06:20 Flotto is a better rap name, though. Like, she, outside, of course, she did it because she cares very deeply about that being a terrible word. We know why. Flotto is a better word. For a rap, for a rap name? And she's also used mad lottery flips. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:38 It was a better choice for sure. Maybe she should have changed the name Latte. Those are kind of in the biracial world too. Yeah, like, you mean like a latte? Yeah. I don't know. I don't know if I like it. Why not?
Starting point is 00:06:51 Latte. If it's a lot of girls used to call themselves mocha, remember that? So I'm saying. They still do. So it was latte. It's like, okay. Go to a certain club. There's definitely a mocha on stage.
Starting point is 00:07:03 It's a mocha. So matcha is her. Who the fuck is calling themselves Machia? We're not far away from people. If you think it's not a girl right now about to go viral for a record, her name is Macha,
Starting point is 00:07:13 you got life twisted. Yeah. Remember I told you it's definitely going to be a female rapper named Macha. Okay. If it's not a... Is she about that green?
Starting point is 00:07:23 She bought that green. Mm-hmm. Big green. Yeah, I see where you going with that shit, mom. You think it's not an artist named Macha? And she's all natural. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:34 She'll have work done, but she'll say she's a wonderful. Yeah, come on now. Good doctor. Oh, damn, there's already a one. And she looked. The song's, no. The song's, okay, gotcha. Yeah, no, I'm talking about the artist will be named Macha.
Starting point is 00:07:45 Definitely. It's a Macha out there in the universe somewhere. It's a new rapper called Lynn that I wanted to give a shout out to. She had an on the radar freestyle that she did or a song that she did. And she sounded good. Like, she could actually rap. She sounded good. Lynn, L-I-N-N.
Starting point is 00:08:01 Oh, L-Y-N-N-N. Okay. Where she's she from? I don't know where she's from You know so, Chris, you always ask me that when I talk about a new artist And I never know where they're from But I literally just saw her on the radar
Starting point is 00:08:10 You're just gonna say the name Where is she from? What's her background? I don't know What's her star sign? I do not know I guess she's from Birmingham, Alabama She's based in Texas
Starting point is 00:08:19 Yeah She now lives in Austin, Texas, okay She's wrapping her ass off. Lynn the bad guy Oh, okay, I'm glad she got rid of the bad guy And Lynn Yeah She wasn't right
Starting point is 00:08:30 It wasn't like pussy rap It was good It was good Or she was, like, giving us, like, real bars? She still has that, like, southern down. She kind of sounds like if Mona Leo and, like, can the man and Lotto all just, like, joined hands and became one person. Lynn, okay.
Starting point is 00:08:47 So. Okay, Lynn, I'm going to check Lynn out. See what she's talking about. Who's, who's my girl? My guilty pleasure song? He loved my new body. That's my shit, man. I play that in the car by myself.
Starting point is 00:08:59 Who's that? That's true. That's the one that people compare to Nikki Minaj. Rightfully so, because she does sound just like Nikki, but I don't really give a fuck because that new body record is fired. I don't know what you're talking about. You never heard nobody by, pull up nobody by Trim.
Starting point is 00:09:13 That's the song of the summer. Like seriously, Nikki Minaj hasn't said anything about this? I don't know what Nikki is thinking. She sounds good, but this was almost blasphemous in hip-hop at one point. But knowing Nikki Menach's- Like, sounded exactly like somebody was like, that was outlawed in hip-hop at one point.
Starting point is 00:09:30 I feel like the rules have changed. We've been talking about it. about it for like five years. Yeah, but this is different now. No, this is acceptable. Bro, that's a good record, man. Can you bring up on an Excel freestyle? The record, the record, the record, fire. But that's Nikki. Like, the fluctuations in it. That's Nikki Minaj. Here, right there, Ryan, you had it.
Starting point is 00:09:49 That's that touched his platform. These host was pushing 40 when I got my platform. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I didn't hear it. I didn't hear that. I didn't hear this before I heard the nobody show. And I was like, all right, that's crazy. Then I heard the record and I was like, I see why she gets away with it because the music works. That's, that's a lot. I didn't see that.
Starting point is 00:10:13 Here's my, I don't know this young lady's full history, but my guess is her team put her up to this. Like, people are comparing you to Nikki. Just go. Now, drag it. Drag it. Yeah. Who says that? Because you can't control.
Starting point is 00:10:29 A smart manager. You can't. No, no. Smart manager does not say that. Like, go full Nikki? The strategy of music now is to get attention, clicks, and traffic. What is going to get you more traffic than being a carbon copy of Nikki so people can say that and get you in the algorithm? And then on top of that, you actually make okay music.
Starting point is 00:10:49 I get that. I get that. And everything you're saying, you sound like somebody that works at a label. That's what I'm speaking about that perspective. Okay, so that's what I'm saying. You sound like somebody that works at a label. What I'm saying is, as somebody that's listening to music, as somebody that grew up in the culture, hip-hop, this is disrespectful.
Starting point is 00:11:06 That's not even, you don't even sound a little bit like yourself. She sounds more like Nikki than Nikki. That's what I'm saying like, you don't even sound a little bit like yourself. Like, I'm not saying, we've heard Jack Harlow records, right? Where we like, little Drake quoted. Drake quoted, right? Even Fab and Mace had some comparisons in the beginning. We get that, right?
Starting point is 00:11:28 This, though, is flat out, like you said, a smart manager, quote, quote, go full Nikki Minaj. I think she probably had a Nicki influence when she started making music. Every female. Every female. She had a Nicki influence. Every female rapper that has had a Nicki influence. I don't even want to talk about the influence.
Starting point is 00:11:45 I want to talk about the sound. Because you can't control. If you sound like Nikki Finnage when you talk, then that's your voice. There's nothing you can do about that. So that's why I've been sticking up for her. But that freestyle is, I can't stick up for that. No, because even, all right. Like Action Bronson.
Starting point is 00:12:03 speaks the way he speaks. He's going to sound like ghost because that's just the voice he was born with. Where people gave action shit was like some of his inflections and how he wrapped was like ghosts too. And you have the same voice as him. That's this time's a thousand. Yeah, but it's not. And you're actually leaning into it. Yeah, but it's not even the voice. It's the aesthetic. Well, I don't want to say the aesthetic because of the majority of like
Starting point is 00:12:30 What? Oh my gosh. She even looks like Nikki right there. You know what you're about to say, baby Dee? Like, what was you about to say? Because first of all, when I was about to speak on aesthetic, all of the female rappers wear the colored fucking wigs, colored makeup, like they all- Baby D,
Starting point is 00:12:44 I'm talking about this though. She's not the first person that. Oh, you're talking about that. When you're talking about the way she looks, the way her hair is the way makeup is. Okay, that's, Mona Leo has had that same hairstyle. Like, that's,
Starting point is 00:12:56 they all wear colored. When people used to say that people were stealing from Nikki, people used to go and pull back and say, okay, well, Nikki's stealing from Kim. They all wear colored wigs, big eyelashes. Okay, but baby, can you see how if some, if a woman sounds exactly like Nikki? But she looks like Nikki Minaj. Now, I'm not talking about the aesthetic.
Starting point is 00:13:13 I'm talking about her face. So this is what I'm saying. So this is what I'm saying. If your facial features somewhat resemble Nikki Minaj, right, wouldn't a smart man to say, look, you already look like you could be Nikki's cousin, little sister. And you sound like her. We can't do the wigs. Like Ice Spice came out, she don't look like nobody.
Starting point is 00:13:31 she may have did a pink wave but when we first saw ice spice we saw the curly carrot top girl in the park made me feel seen didn't look like nobody right this like to rory's point speaking on a record executive this looks and feel like no let's go full nicky monage let's go full pink print let's go full piggy in the blanket of freestyle let's like that's what this is and i don't know like you know whoever this the girl is uh trimmy is her name? Trim, yeah. Like, you know, like, whatever she's trying to do, I hope she's successful at it. She's obviously having some success, but there's not much longevity in trying to be a carbon copy of. You say that, but, all right, can I give the perspective of this kind of being the natural progression of things when it went from digging through the crates to find samples to then
Starting point is 00:14:22 just using obvious samples because this is a proven record that human ears like. So let's sample it in a very obvious way because we know it's going to work. We can put money against it. We know we'll get some ROI on it because we know this works. Then you go to movie industry. Let's just remake Marvel shit because we know it works. Let's do reboots of movies that already work. The natural progression is going to be, let's do a carbon fucking copy of an artist because we know it worked.
Starting point is 00:14:46 When is that ever worked? When has that ever worked? Hip-hop is not long enough. It's a progression of that. You're talking about sampling music. I'm talking about when an artist has ever sounded exactly like and looked exactly like. You're missing my point. I'm saying that's the natural progression of that.
Starting point is 00:15:00 No, that's the extreme of it. Yes, it is. It's not the natural progression. No artists are going to say, so, all right, so there's going to be a successful artist that looks and sounds exactly
Starting point is 00:15:07 like Michael Jackson? That artist will be successful? I don't know. It would not work. Niggas would laugh at that. We see a thousand of them niggas in Vegas every day. That shit does not work. It's not going to work.
Starting point is 00:15:17 They're singing the same. That's, it's a little bit different. I understand where Rory's coming from. Even if they wasn't, if an artist came out right now and looked like Michael Jackson, had the glove,
Starting point is 00:15:28 the hob waters, the loafers, everything, the hair sounded like an ad-lips, everything. You're telling me that artist would be successful? Or would people be like, man, get this shit out of here? Now, Trim, I don't know if she's successful. She's going viral.
Starting point is 00:15:43 People deem that as success going viral, right? Maybe that's what she's looking for. Until she puts an album out of project out and tries to sell some hard tickets to a show and arena, that's when we can start to gauge if this thing is working or not. A video going viral and all of that, okay, I see how people said that success. I'm saying there's not much longevity in trying to be a carbon copy of one of the most iconic female emcees of all time.
Starting point is 00:16:08 There's not much longevity there. Now, I understand you're saying the natural progression is fucking and samples. The artist might as well. It's different with music. And then when the artist is trying to sound and look exactly like the artist, that's not going to work. I'm saying that with that progression, the fans are changing and turning into people that give less of a fuck. and young enough at some point in the next 20 years of course Nikki is
Starting point is 00:16:33 an icon but there's be a bunch of kids that don't really know who the fuck Nicky is and it's going to feel brand new to them it's going to feel brand fucking new to them that's what I'm talking about. Even now if you look all these artists are using the same fucking auto tune and trap drums that little baby uses I saw a white kid that looks like me put on the exact same future filter
Starting point is 00:16:49 and I thought it was fucking future. Is that awesome stuff? The next step is just hey these young kids don't know shit you're just being carbon copy. And to my point you're naming all artists that did not have longevity. Will it work for a second? Okay.
Starting point is 00:17:03 The sound is familiar. Like, who's that? Oh, that sound like this person. I'm saying there's not much longevity in it. When y'all can name an artist that has had longevity and sounding and looking exactly like a very successful artist that we've already had, then we can have another conversation. I think that's why I said I think that you're missing a point where Rory says the natural progression of things because this is the new thing.
Starting point is 00:17:24 Nobody's saying that it's a proven thing. Yeah, I don't know if it works. But this is the new thing. Number one, Nikki is missed in music. People miss Nikki in music, but because of her actions, whether you agree with them or not on and off the internet and things like that, that's kind of made it like where it's like, okay, a lot of people don't really fuck with Nikki like that, like, but except for hardcore fans that she's had like since the very beginning. So when you have a new artist who is pandering to a younger crowd who didn't get to have
Starting point is 00:17:52 Nikki the way that we got to have Nikki, it's different because this is now new for them. This is fun for them. As far as her looks and her aesthetic, the colored wigs and all of that shit, all of the female rappers do that now. So if you're talking about somebody, that's a carbon copy of looking like Nikki, everybody does that already. That's just that aren't rappers. Regular women in the streets dress like that now. So that's just like how the kids get down. The kids all wear colored wigs and look like they're just extra.
Starting point is 00:18:17 Whatever. They all look like they're on fucking the hunger games. But as far as the sound, the kids never experienced that. We got to experience it, but the kids never experienced that before. And it stands out against all the female rappers that they have. now. So it could be, it could be successful. Now, will she reach extremely high heights? I hope that she does, but female rap just isn't doing that right now, right? She can pivot. This could be a way to get in and get people talking.
Starting point is 00:18:40 I hope that she doesn't pivot. If she's really talented, she could pivot and obviously still have a influence of Nikki sound similar to Doja Cat. Definitely you could say has an influence of Nikki as far as flowing boys. She's from Charleston, South Carolina. Bro, let's cut the end. Oh, I did not know that. I thought this girl was from Brooklyn. I did not know she was from Charleston, South Carolina. Let's cut the shit, though. Like, all this you're trying here saying, I get it, we podcast and we can cut the shit. Can we look, can we look and see if she's ever lived in New York? I did not know that. I don't care where she lived that. She's from Charleston,
Starting point is 00:19:10 South Carolina. Okay, Nikki wasn't from England and Roman existed. No, that point didn't land. Slow clap for Rory. Nikki was British for a whole year Low clap for Rory I'm trying to defend trim man Her name is Alasia Kornicki She is from Charleston South Carolina Where she grew up on King Street
Starting point is 00:19:35 Her distinct accent and cadence stem from her Gully Ghihi heritage rooted in South Carolina I would have to hear her speak Um Hear her speak I'm listening to the song y'all just played I will be even more offended if I hear her speaking She sounds like she's from Charleston South Carolina
Starting point is 00:19:51 I will be more fitted. Yeah. Well, I like Trim's music because I miss Nikki making music. But that's so I hope that she doesn't pivot because I missed that. I miss that sound. But yeah. I'm just saying, man, there's not, there's no longevity in that. She's playing the short game with that.
Starting point is 00:20:11 That's all. I admire the high expectations you have for this era. No, not just the artist of family. It's not the era. It's for the art form. No, I envy you. I wish I still had that type of hope. If you're, to me, if you're, to me, if you're,
Starting point is 00:20:21 trying to get into music and create music and do something. Anything you're doing, you should be thinking longevity. Like, I would think. Again, you have a very high opinion of that generation. Okay. I don't think those kids are thinking about longevity, just based by their digital footprint now. Longevity is tough for the average person trying to get a job. Like, they're thinking about today in the algorithm.
Starting point is 00:20:49 Nobody has longevity in their head from that era. Okay, maybe right. I guess she had made a comment. Was that quote real where she said about, she said that she don't think she sounds like Nikki? I'd have to, that was like in text. I'd have to hear her say that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:06 She said it don't even sound like Beyonce. She said that her song, coconut water, don't sound like nothing. Okay. I don't know. It is what it is. I mean. Mall is appalled.
Starting point is 00:21:17 Very rarely do I appall mall. I'm just like, yo, that's to hear. That free style was crazy. I love nobody, though, but that free style was crazy. Because y'all don't, again, y'all are missing what I'm saying. I'm attaching to how blasphemous at one point this was in hip hop to do something like that. Like to look and sound exactly like somebody. Hip hop was like.
Starting point is 00:21:38 Fighters. It's supposed to be original. Like you're supposed to, you get mad if somebody said, yo, you sound like, it used to be a fight. You sound like, I sound like what? And it would be, it would literally be a fight. If you told the artist he sounds like, Or she sounds like somebody. Well, I mean, that's different, though,
Starting point is 00:21:53 because now all of them from the South sound the same to me. Yeah. You can replace all of them on each other's records, and they all sound the same. Only when that sound different is 217. To Mall's point, though,
Starting point is 00:22:03 the most egregious thing ever was Shine and Biggie, but Shine still had his own style. It wasn't a carpeting fucking copy. But even then, that was like, nah, I can't fuck with Sean. He sounds too much like big. Yeah, that was a thing.
Starting point is 00:22:14 It was like, yo, he's trying to sound like big. And he signed the bad boy. Like, Sean went through, like, he went through, some shit. Yeah. Like, just trying to be an artist. Forget the person.
Starting point is 00:22:24 That was his natural speaking voice. Yeah, and that was just his natural, like, voice. So this to me, again, pardon me, I'm from a different time and era in hip hop. But seeing and hearing something like that, it's just like, what the fuck? And people are like enjoying this. Jaru. He said he was DMX. And Jad don't sound nothing like them.
Starting point is 00:22:45 They don't sound nothing to like. You had a no shirt thing. That was like Pock. Yeah, the bandana. Yeah, the red bandana. And he sounds nothing like Puck. Yeah. Doesn't make any music like Puck.
Starting point is 00:22:59 I think Jarl Rood just got those comparisons to DMX because his voice, right? Yeah, he's how deep voice is. Which is something he can't even control. And it didn't help that someone that just had two number one albums said, hey, that guy sounds exactly like me. That didn't help either. Yeah. I'm just having.
Starting point is 00:23:14 Of DMX yelling out loud in the same voice, he sounds just like me. I'm from a different time, man. Like that shit was not. wave like you will get you will get fucking with the what the Kanye tell a girl in the room to do shut up before you get what he said uh which time i don't yeah i wanted to use that word right there but yeah that's that was you would get when he was in like the hotel exiled okay you will get exiled from hip-hop at one point if you try to sound and look exactly like somebody like people are flam the door you like get out of it time is changing especially with these labels because if they
Starting point is 00:23:46 know something works if this is a proven thing like they don't want to same thing like they don't want to same thing that Rory said. That's why they keep remaking old movies and Marvel movies. If we know this works, we're going to stick to this because we're tired of losing money on creativity. Did you see the Doomsday trailer? No, I didn't see it. You don't see it?
Starting point is 00:24:02 It looks amazing. None of y'all saw it. It's like at a billion views. I didn't see it. There's three billion, like a billion people watching. I couldn't get past the lotto, doja cat or nobody. Yeah, that was probably just as long as Doomsday was. But yeah, the doomsday trailer?
Starting point is 00:24:17 Mm-mm. Yeah, this might be, this might be the greatest. Marvel movie ever. Really? Oh, it's going to be better than I play Rocky? You got Rocky. No, I said this might be the best Marvel movie.
Starting point is 00:24:29 Oh, so you don't think it's going to be better than I play Rocky? Marvel movies. But what I'm asking me is a Marvel movie. What I'm asking you, do you think it's going to be better than I play Rocky? Because you said I play Rocky with- Watch that tone before Frank come up here.
Starting point is 00:24:41 You said I play Rocky is going to be the best movie like of the year. I said one of the best movies of the year. Okay. If I recall, correct. Do you think that this is going to be better than I play Rocky? This, of course.
Starting point is 00:24:50 is a Marvel movie. Absolutely. This is the movie of you without a doubt. Okay. This is a movie. I don't want to hear about Odyssey, Pete. Shut the fuck up with Odyssey.
Starting point is 00:25:00 Go on Pete. I don't want to hear about that. He love a good white retelling, don't he? I got to go see it, though, because I'm hearing great things about it. But if y'all didn't watch this Doomsday trailer, this is definitely going to be the best Marvel movie ever. I'm excited. Y'all know how I feel about Marvel.
Starting point is 00:25:16 Yeah, this is, this trailer is incredible. I got to go back and rewatch all the fucking shows. too, though. But what, like, what about this one do you, like, things separates it? Because everybody that's, like, got ops, like, Magneto and fucking Professor X got to fucking become friends again. Okay. Like, everybody that's ops, everybody that's in order to, obviously, you know, fight
Starting point is 00:25:40 the doomsday villain, they all have to come to, like, you, we don't, we're not beefing with each other. This was like, uh. All of that, yeah, all of that shit. They got a tie the bandanas together. This is bloods and cribs. when Tommy Goson 50 came together for one last job. It's the same exactly.
Starting point is 00:25:54 When they met in the elementary school, they went to. This is it. Gotcha. Okay. Everybody's putting their beefs aside. The beefs aside. This is a bigger thing that we're, this is the most, this is the biggest force that we've ever had to face in the Marvel universe. What are they fighting Israel?
Starting point is 00:26:12 Yeah. Slow clap for Rory. That's two slow claps. You probably love that J.D. Vanson and Rogan interview, didn't you? I love it. This is slow clap. Yeah, but no, D-Duesday, you got to watch this, though.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Definitely moving the year. I think it's coming out right before Christmas, so, you know, they're getting that whole holiday rush. All right, well, I'll see it. You have to. I don't like, I'm not super into the Marvel stuff, but I like good movies. You know, like Marvel movies?
Starting point is 00:26:36 They're cool. I'm not like, I'm not going to dress up like you guys. Wait, wait, wait, but who dress? You think that I dress up to go see a Marvel movie? Maybe. The fuck, get the fuck out of it. You know, I'm not doing it. Yeah, I never dressed that for a movie?
Starting point is 00:26:47 You may have some, like, Supreme Collab that I don't know about with Wolverville. You should have seen the hood niggas from Brooklyn dressing up to go see the devil wears Prada with their girlfriends. I did not see that. Prada had to toe. Head to toe to go see devil wears Prada. With their girlfriends. Prada head to toe. That's what.
Starting point is 00:27:09 I could find a pair of Prada sneakers in storage. I mean, I'm not saying you can with Prada sneakers to go see devil wears Prada. But head to toe. Prada head to toe, y'all. I guess so. You did it in 07. I've never wore full Prada outfit in my life. All right, 06.
Starting point is 00:27:24 Have you ever worn anything full other than Godspeed? Yeah. Ralph Lauren? Polo for show. Nike for show. Nike for show. John Elliott? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:37 Talk to him. I'm just saying I have. I just don't know if I'm putting on Prada or head to toe to go see devil where it's Prada too. You know what I'm saying? It's like, all right, fam, what we doing? Am I the devil? Like, on the devil? like on a date with my girl
Starting point is 00:27:50 I'm the devil ooh I mean if that's what niggins is doing I don't know what they're doing Mall demaris's flight was delayed and she couldn't rebook because she didn't have service because she didn't have

Starting point is 00:32:00 You're on a date and your man wears all Prada to Devil Wars Prada. Or he goes to the Doja Cat concert and wraps every verse to her face. What's worse? Yeah. Mm. That's more of an ick. More of an ick. A man rap it out loud at a concert is crazy.
Starting point is 00:32:23 Yeah, that's more to ick. You know, I like I like Stushman. I don't like that. I think it's cute Like if it was my friend But as my man You can't be like Rap and word for word
Starting point is 00:32:32 No matter who the artist is No matter who the artist is I agree Unless it's like If we survived to let out But other than That might be the worst song All right
Starting point is 00:32:42 You guys would have broke out In hives at Yankee Stadium Then Every man was rapping word for word Oh for sure For sure But that's different That's Jay
Starting point is 00:32:52 It's cool to rap Jay Jay's cool So the artist Has to be cool The artist got to be cool You have to deem the artist to be cool. All right, say the artists that aren't cool.
Starting point is 00:33:02 Most artists. Artists ain't cool. There's not a lot of cool, like, artists. Can you think of a lot of cool, like, artists, we'd be like, damn, they're cool. I think Nas is one of the coolest art. Nah, Naz is very cool. Nause is very cool.
Starting point is 00:33:13 Nause and J are cool. They're era in particular, but they're older than me. So I view, like, when you were younger, you viewed older people as cool. But even their peers think they're cool. But sometimes you got, they're corny when you got to that age. Their peers think they're cool. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:26 Like, I think everyone from Wu, saying is cool as fuck. Like, just that era to me, they're all cool. I'm trying to think of, I don't know. I mean, I haven't like hung out with artists to the point of knowing if they're really cool or not like that. Of what, like, famous ones that people are known? Meth can't be cool. He's an actor.
Starting point is 00:33:44 You can't be a cool actor. You can't be a cool actor. You can't be a cool actor. You can't be a cool actor. As an actor, you can't be coolest nigga in the world. What are you talking about? Dinsel Watson might be the coolest nigga in the world. But Densel played a same thing. But I just had this conversation. Denzel plays the cool nigger in every role he play other than that one. He's playing himself.
Starting point is 00:34:05 Exactly. That's the thing. You think he's acting. He ain't. They just happened to be recording Denzel on a day. Exactly. But that's why I literally just had the conversation because somebody, we were having the Will Smith versus Denzel like who's the better actor.
Starting point is 00:34:17 I was having that. A lot of people have that argument sometimes. Yeah, people do. Yeah. Whether Will or Denzel are a better, is a better act. I mean, I personally think Jamzell is, but that's just my thought. But yeah, people have that. And if you're talking.
Starting point is 00:34:28 like, who is having that debate? They can make a debate off success. It's not even box office. It's not even box office. To me, for me, me personally, what I think, and y'all know Denzel is like, I love Denzel so much.
Starting point is 00:34:40 He's extremely, extremely talented. Happy birthday to the legendary, Denzel. He turned 80. I didn't even know he was 80. He did? He did. You said 80? Denzel Washington is 80 years old.
Starting point is 00:34:48 That's crazy. I believe. That's crazy. 80 is crazy. He can't be 80. Get him in front of the screen now. That man is 71 years old. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:34:56 I was like, Denzel. I thought I had 10 more years of Denzel being alive. You were scaring the shit out of me. 71. 71. He looks good. He'll look a day over 60. 71, Denzel.
Starting point is 00:35:09 Happy birthday, Denzo. Okay. Is Will Smith a better actor because Will's probably not cool and he's come across cool in movies? Anything. When Denzel breathes, he's cool. Well, Will Smith, we know he's not cool. He showed us that at the Oscars. The freestyle saved him, though.
Starting point is 00:35:24 He got back to coolness, right? According to y'all, according to y'all, according to y'all, I thought that was great. Freestyle of the year. I think that Will has more range. That's why I think that Will is a better actor. I think Will has more range. Because he did one accent in concussion?
Starting point is 00:35:37 No, it's not about an accent. Will can play a funny role. Will can play an action role. Will can play a serious role. Will can pretend to be somebody else. Will can act and just be himself in a movie and still be good. Denzel was Malcolm X. He has more rank.
Starting point is 00:35:52 Y'all just said that Denzel plays himself in every role. He said that. I didn't say that. Yeah. Denzel plays himself in every row. There's some that he stood out where it was a little bit different. But for the most part, he plays himself. Will doesn't do that. Will has a lot of rain. What do you mean? Of course, his own personality is going to blend in. But what do you mean by that? I just literally just explained it to you. You think Denzel could be a comedian in a movie? Probably if it was well written. I think he has the ability to look at a script and figure out what they're trying to get across. You think he has that ability. Has he ever shown that ability? Do you remember him showing you that ability?
Starting point is 00:36:31 That you, you know. That he was in a- He could be a comedic actor? Yes. Yeah. No, I don't think Denzel's taken like a traditional comedic role, but Denzel is funny without being funny, which makes me think that he could do that if he wanted to, like, even in flight when they're at like the end at the hearing and he's like, I'm drunk right now, I fell out of my chair laughing. Denzel can be funny Even if it's not funny Denzel is the person is naturally funny Yeah so that's why I'm saying like Okay you have a point because there's not like a direct
Starting point is 00:37:03 example of him being in a straight comedy shit You're talking about like me slap funny No to say he couldn't do that is kind of crazy And I mean Will yes says that range because he started on a comedy Zincel's viral clip of I'm leaving here with something That's comedy That's hilarious but that's not acting
Starting point is 00:37:19 That's him being himself He's naturally a funny person That's what I'm saying. I think he could be. I don't, I don't think that. Inside, man, he was hilarious. I don't think it's, you're looking at me like explain that. I don't think it needs to be explained that Will Smith has shown. I won't say has.
Starting point is 00:37:31 Let's say, has shown in his filmography that he has more range than Denzel. He's a better comedic. It's not even just comedy. It's not even just comedy. Well, I mean, Will comes from TV and it was a comedy. So it was like, you know. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:37:47 Comedy, drama, I guess. No, well, first of all, I want to make, I think Will, Smith is a great, great actor. You don't have to agree that you don't think that Denzel is a better actor to him. That's fine. That's opinion only. But when I say he has more range and he's shown more range, I don't think that's explained.
Starting point is 00:38:02 I think that's pretty simple. The range only speaks to one part of acting. And to me, it's the comedic part because I think Denzel beats Will in every other category besides comedy. But if that's the deciding factor of the full range thing, then sure, Will could have more range. The difference between Will Smith and Denzel is, Denzel's a Thessel. being Will Smith is a lesbian.
Starting point is 00:38:26 Slow clap for all. Medium clap. It was a medium clap. That wasn't a slow clap, baby, dude. That was funny. Fuck you, baby, dude. How long you been sitting on that while we was debating? That's what he was thinking about.
Starting point is 00:38:38 That's what, because Denzel comes from theater. That was his origin theater. There's always an amazing. Will Smith's origin is rap, hip-hop, and then obviously fresh friends. So it's like, you know, then he moved into film. but Denzel started in the theater and then moved to film. So it was just a different type of actor. Different type of actor.
Starting point is 00:38:58 Yeah. And I'm joking about Will being a lesbian. He's not a lesbian. Well, and also why that debate even exists is because they're both black. I don't think that'd be a debate. What do you mean they're both black? That's why I think people have that. I don't think they should be in a debate because they're different type of action.
Starting point is 00:39:11 I think De Niro and Denzel would be a better debate than Will Smith and Denzel. Because they're different type of actor. They're different type of actors. I'm saying the only reason that people are having. the debate is because I mean or they're also like De Niro Dinairo has done comedies though yes yes now was he trying to be funny in those comedies maybe not but it was funny like
Starting point is 00:39:32 De Niro also kind of place he wasn't trying to be funny meet the fuckers but his role was funny though you get what I'm saying antagonist of yeah yeah that type of he's hilarious I think Denzel can do that I don't think Denzel can do Kevin Hart type of comedy or Dave Chappelle comedy in a movie but I think the way De Niro was and meet the fuckers. I think Denzel could do that. You think Denzel could be a superhero? Yeah, he is a superhero. He's Malcolm X.
Starting point is 00:39:59 Got you there. He was Jake Shuttlesworth. You got me. You know me? You ate me up. Of course he could be a superhero. I love Denzel. It's my baby. I love him. You never talk about the saddest part of he got game at the end when he was like, we got over on you, Denzel. He went to Big State, but you didn't technically do it. Sit in Attica for the rest of your life. Yeah. It's all right. We know the government was going to do that. He was going to fuck him over. Great movie, though.
Starting point is 00:40:21 How do we even get on that topic? What were we talking about? About actors? Oh, about playing yourself in every role, but where do we get from there? Oh, being cool. Oh, rapping at a concert, being cool. Yeah, who's cool? Who's the cool?
Starting point is 00:40:37 Yeah, cool rappers. Denzel is super cool. Super cool. Super cool, Denzel. Okay, then what era are you asking for cool rappers to get back to that? This era, I don't know. I have no idea. But I'm not cool, so I don't want to be.
Starting point is 00:40:49 that guy that is the gatekeeper of cool when I'm not. I'm just like that everybody looks up to like cool. Like damn, like they're cool. Like, cool don't exist no more. Kanye was cool. No? No, he was never cool. He came out being a nerd.
Starting point is 00:41:06 Like, he was never the cool. He ushered in the new world where nerds became cool and high fashion became cool. And everyone dressed more like Kanye than anyone else. Yeah, but that cool, influential doesn't be. If you're influencing how everyone is dressing, to me that, is probably one of the biggest examples of being cool. Well, that's not what I refer to when I refer to as well. ASAP and his crew were cool as fuck when they came out, no?
Starting point is 00:41:27 A-Sap and him was cool. But to the younger generation. That's not what I refer to when I refer to cool. Oh, what do you mean then? I mean, when I say cool, I mean like the cool, like, lay back, like, almost like, don't talk, like, just that type of cool. Larry June is cool. Good job, Larry. And he's positive and shit.
Starting point is 00:41:45 Like, that's cool to me. The fact that all you got to say is good job to the crowd and everyone should. Cheers. Like, that's some real cool shit to me. That's cool. Larry June is cool. Larry June is cool for sure. Larry June is definitely a cool rapper. He, you know, he got juice balls and shit like that. Which are you going to take, um, take ownership of the orange? We had that conversation. The first time, uh, we kicked it with Larry at, um, Made in America.
Starting point is 00:42:08 And he, his answer was cool as fuck. Y'all can have it too. Damn, he's sharing shit. That's cool. She's cool. She's cool as cool. Larry's cool. Larry's cool. That's my thing. He was so cool when we went. go-kart riding with him and alchemist me al and maul were competitive in trying to beat each other i think he lit up like in the go-car place he was behind us going five miles an hour on the go-car track lean like this we're trying to race and shit looking like nerds larry on lap one larry i'm mad about that i lost to al by like 0.8 seconds and stuff like that i was pissed
Starting point is 00:42:45 i ain't like that shit i i need to do over that I need a rematch, man. A-Sat was cool until he said he was slipping out seaman. I think that's when he lost his cool points. That's not his fault, though. Yeah, but you ain't have to tell us that. We love you, A-Sap, but you don't have to tell us that. Fab was cool.
Starting point is 00:43:03 Fad was the definition of cool. He was cool. Fab was definitely cool. He was cool. Like, 50s era, 50 was more perception of fear than I think. There wasn't, besides people like me that bought those wife beaters, No one was like I want to be like and dress like 50.
Starting point is 00:43:22 A lot of people wanted to dress like that. Yeah, people bought Junick t-shirts and shit, but 50 wasn't like a style icon the way maybe I don't say Ho was a style icon, but when he said something people wore it. 50 wasn't really that. That wasn't his thing.
Starting point is 00:43:39 But he was coming at the tail end again of the gangsta rap shit and Kanye's era came in. And people's wearing big ass t-shirts from the South. Yeah, 50 really wasn't that per se. The coolest rapper ever is Snoop, though. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:51 They got to be Snoop, though. Snoop is cool because Snoop, I don't think Snoop cares about being cool and that is what makes him cool. Like, I don't even think he be trying to do shit to be cool and it's just like cool. Well, that's what makes you cool. You're not trying to be cool. You just are. Yeah. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:44:07 Snoop is probably the coolest rapper ever. Yeah. I think Three Stacks and Big Boy, like, as a duo is like the coolest yin and yang. both of them are completely different but both super cool yeah that would put outcast there but see there's people that would look at you and say you're crazy for saying that when i say cool i mean like everybody would think they're cool most people would not think that they're cool that Andre 3000 is cool that Andre yeah they weren't they weren't labeled as like cool the way they like well Andre the way he dressed and stuff like that that's not typically cool that wouldn't be
Starting point is 00:44:42 Andre 3000 is one of the coolest dudes ever ice cold was his name Ice cold. What's cool with them being cool? Ice cold. Yeah. What? Yeah, I'm not saying that it's because everyone couldn't dress that way. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:55 Like it was... Yeah, you wear the shit that anybody can't pull off. If you had a little bit of money when Kanye first came out and you just wanted to buy a Louis Vuitton backpack and a polo, you could do that. That was accessible. You had to go thrifting and search for shit. Like, you have to go find eagle feathers in Vancouver to go dress like fucking three stacks. But people thought he was cool. And Big Boy was, he was on the pimps shit.
Starting point is 00:45:17 Like, he was cool as fuck. Wrest in peace, Nip. Nip was cool as fuck. Cool, super cool. Nip was cool. He comes from the Snoop family tree of cool. Yeah, Nip was cool as fuck. Naturally cool.
Starting point is 00:45:31 Yeah. Damn, yeah. When he came to, I was like, oh, this is not a facade. The aura changed where he walked in. Like, he was by far the coolest person in there. Yeah. He came just him in Lauren London, in a Porsche, no security. Like, he, yeah, he was like,
Starting point is 00:45:46 coolest person in the room and it wasn't even close. Like, he was one of those. Rest of peace, net. Yeah. While we're speaking of West Coast, right before we started recording, YG was detained in LA for the Draco. I've heard people say,
Starting point is 00:46:02 Drakio, Draco, which one is it? Because I get corrected every time. Dracio. Draccio. It's Draco, yeah. Thank you. Okay. I want to make sure, because I've said Draccio before and I've been threatened by the West Coast, and I think he was one of the modern greatest of the West,
Starting point is 00:46:15 and I think everyone has used his flow, so I want to get it correctly. But YG was detained in connection to his murder. There was a search warrant at his crib or studio, wherever it was. But tonight, as you're hearing this, we don't know if it happened or not, but there is the versus against gain in YG in a few hours.
Starting point is 00:46:35 But if he was detained, maybe they released them already. Yeah, detained doesn't mean arrested, obviously. But, you know, away from just being able to do the verses, it is very interesting that he was detained and is being investigated in connection with Draco's, uh, with murder. So it means, you know, it's, that's not a good thing. You don't ever want to be part of an investigation.
Starting point is 00:47:00 You don't ever want to be detained by police for anything, but we will have to wait and see what comes of this if anything comes to this. Um, but yeah, I mean, he, he isn't arrested. so he should, diverse, he should still be able to go on tonight. We kind of felt like something was going to happen leading up to this. I don't know if it was this.
Starting point is 00:47:22 No, I didn't expect this. I mean, because, you know, the murder was almost five years ago. And, you know, I'm not trying to down the efforts of the Los Angeles Police Department, but usually if it's been that long, it kind of feels like maybe the cops have checked the fuck out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:38 So, yes, that is a little surprising. and in connection to YG, I'm not even going to pretend nor want to know whatever history ties between that or whatever, what happened at the festival. None of my business. But yes, I will say that the timing is definitely interesting to say the least. So I'm sure we'll hear much more about that
Starting point is 00:47:59 as the days go. I talk to a lot of people on the West Coast over this week. They thought we were kind of crazy. Why? In our discussion, we didn't really pick a winner. We said we weren't particularly sure and did say that YG has a lot of records that would work well in aversis and at parties.
Starting point is 00:48:18 Everyone I talked to things, YG is going to clean him up. And these are people from the West Coast that grew up on game as well, around my age, like, nah, versus those YG records, especially since they're doing it on the West Coast and there's going to be a West Coast crowd,
Starting point is 00:48:34 the reactions to those records are going to look different. Didn't we say that in here, though? Like, YG has the records that at a verse has probably performed better. I feel like we said that one. I think, yeah, I think they just heard us giving Game a lot of credit and they probably interpret it. Like, they think it's going to be a suite. A sweep?
Starting point is 00:48:52 They're on that side. No, no. Game is not getting swept in avert. I think our New York bias comes in a lot because we look at game the way we look at game and over in New York. Listen, and I want to make this very clear. This is not anyone on this podcast. opinion, even if you try to clip it, whatever.
Starting point is 00:49:11 Somebody from the West Coast said pre-beef, YG would give Kendrick a long night in verses. How people revere YG in a versus setting is much higher than I expected. But if they go out every weekend, I'm sure YG is a great majority of the songs that they hear with how long he's been around in the hit set he has, so I get it.
Starting point is 00:49:36 But I hope this does happen tonight. Obviously, YG has some things going on. But I like both their music, so I'm here for this one. Yeah, I mean, again, the verses setting with the crowd being there, obviously we know the records that both of these artists have. But I can see how people are leaning towards YG having the better performing records when it comes to this type of platform. Game probably has better songs.
Starting point is 00:50:05 Game is probably the best for that. is probably the better rapper, but when you're talking about just throwing on a record in the crowd reacting, YG has a lot of those. He has a lot of those records where as soon as it drops, there's a reaction. He has a lot of those, you know,
Starting point is 00:50:22 those party, club, atmosphere, cookout, like he has a lot of those records. Game has some as well, but YG probably makes it more of a focal point to have those type of songs. Yeah, yeah. You saw that Stack Quo clip where he was saying he's had a lot of conversations with game
Starting point is 00:50:41 where he felt like Kendrick was dissing him for like the last 10 years. Some of those were a little, they were reaches. But I do think that Kendrick has this game before. Do you think Kendrick has this game? I think in that full clip, and we don't have to go through all of them because some of them were just such a reach that I think it was just game being game. But I do think that game was dis, not dissed or not like us, us, but was mentioned and could take it as a diss when he has said, let me put y'all on game.
Starting point is 00:51:12 The Settlers was using town folk. I mean, game did bring Drake to Compton to do that song. Where Drake did disc Kendrick in Compton, let me put you on a game is on the documentary. His name is game. Yeah, I think that was a shot. That's a fair assessment. I think that's a really fair. Like, everyone was like, yo, game is nuts?
Starting point is 00:51:34 I was like, I don't, is he? Let me put you on game. If town folks, they're both from the same fucking town, was using settlers, and he's calling Drake a settler throughout the entire record. Listen. Game's not crazy for saying that Kendrick dissim. That's all I'm saying. I'm just saying if I'm game, I would have some questions too.
Starting point is 00:51:50 Yeah. I would want to ask Kendrick like, yo, fam, that bar, like, what you meant? Why you say bar like that? You got up my fucking nerve. That bar right there. What you meant by that? He said, that bar. Yeah, let's talk about that bar right there.
Starting point is 00:52:02 That more right there. Yeah, let's talk about that because I'm, I got questions. That's all. I'm not mad at Game for having some type of feelings towards serving things being said. And not only that, to me, that makes sense why, you know, game didn't show up to the pop out. Because he's probably always felt like there was something there between him and Kendrick anyway. Now, obviously, his alliance and his, you know, he sided with Drake. Drake is his guy. But I think away from that, I think, yeah, I can see Game kind of having those feelings for a while.
Starting point is 00:52:36 Like, yo, he felt like Kendrick was sending a couple shots his way. Like, you know. And a competitive, not a beef nature. But like being from the same city, you know what I'm saying? It's like, nah, like I'm, you know, it's like that type of competitive thing. In, okay, but in a, like rapper brain, which you have to add that context into this. Game gave Kendrick, you know, it was probably first shot from a professional reputable rapper. Like game mixtapes had k-dot on it, took them on tour.
Starting point is 00:53:05 Yeah, for sure. They've had a very long, long relationship. And not to say that game owes him anything per se, but as a rapper I may have some type of an issue of someone I've known for that long, being cool, taking someone dissing me to my hometown to shoot a video where you're dissing me. Yeah. I can see that. Like if you're standing on a Compton block saying if I didn't go pop and stayed conscious,
Starting point is 00:53:37 I would have all of your fans. Like, game, you're going to take them to Cedar Block to say that? I could see Kendrick not being like, yo, fuck game. But like, that's kind of weird. Like, if it was just a record, I get it. But he's legitimately dissing me on the song. Yeah. So I could see Kendrick feeling a little bit of way.
Starting point is 00:53:54 Yeah. But that's rapper ego shit. There's definitely something. They're not real serious shit. Being from the same city, you know, it's a competitive thing. It's a rapper ego thing. I don't think it's a real. beef like some street shit i don't think it's that no no but i think it's definitely like the rap
Starting point is 00:54:12 ego being from the same city type of like nudging for position type of thing like good healthy competition i don't think that there's any real ill feelings between these two but you know obviously people are going to try to paint it that way and then game not going to the pop out and addressing why he didn't go and things like that it kind of put in the middle i guess a little further wedge in between him and kendrick's relationship if you will. I don't know, you know, personally their relationship. But, you know, just on the outside looking in, it's, it's, there's definitely something between these two, but I don't think it's like a beef. I don't think it's that. That would have been a good gauge for tonight's versus. Because
Starting point is 00:54:52 YG's set at the pop out was great and you could see the reception that he got for that like 10, 12 minutes that he did. I'm curious what the reaction would have been because I game popping out, that stadium would have went nuts. Oh, yeah. Oh, for the for the, for the, Pop out. Yeah. If game came out. This is what I'm saying. Like it's so crazy.
Starting point is 00:55:10 You know, again, I think this versus is going to be very interesting just to see, you know, the hook could because now it's, again, it's, it's who's in the room. The energy in the room is who's there? What is the crowd? Is it a younger crowd? Is it a little older crowd? Like, who's in the room? I just hope Y.G goes by himself.
Starting point is 00:55:32 If you have the cops knowing where everybody is, no. If I know YG, I'm not going to that. Innocent, guilty, I'm not going to any. There's an address of where we're going to be in a time after people are getting detained. Yeah. Why should go there to, just him and Karen Civil. Yeah. That's it.
Starting point is 00:55:52 Should show up to that. What time is that tonight? I feel Khalid, man. I feel them, man. Why? Listen, the very few people that I'm grateful for that keep asking me where my album is, they don't know that I just saw the Jay-Z show. So I got to push it back.
Starting point is 00:56:10 I saw, I got inspired that like, nah, let's push this back. I was going to put it out the next day and I was like, nah. Yeah. No, I can't do that. Come boy. I just saw feeling it. Like, I can't, come on. You got inspired by how I'm that came out 30 years ago.
Starting point is 00:56:28 Yeah, that's funny. That's what so. Callag, just her reasonable doubt that day. Yeah, that's what's up. But I mean, this, all right. I want to say this respectfully. I feel like it's going to come off like it's not. This is not a shot at Caled.
Starting point is 00:56:44 But Callid's marketing is to be full of shit. What do you mean? He's one of the best marketers of, they hate us, they've been doubted. Like no one knows who they is. It's all just full of shit taglines. He's a great marketer. It's like, you know, it's like riddles.
Starting point is 00:57:02 He's a character of himself. And I don't mean that in a bad way. That's why he's so successful. That's why we love him. Like, this is going to be the greatest song of all time. was like, we know it's not better than the Rihanna Bryson Siller record. Don't tell me that this little baby song is going to be that. It's not.
Starting point is 00:57:16 His whole marketing scheme is being full of shit. So it's right on par. Yeah, pushed it back because I went to Roots picnic and I said, nah, no more album. Yeah. Yeah. That's all Cali's whole thing. He's like a motivational speaker too that's also full of shit. Yeah, but it's different this time, though.
Starting point is 00:57:33 As a person, he's not full of shit. I want to make that clear. I don't know him. No, just it's just promotion. As a marketer, he's full of shit and marketing's full of shit. Everybody in marketing the promotion is full of shit at some point. You got to, that's part of marketing and promotion.
Starting point is 00:57:44 You got to put some bullshit in the game. Like if Caled did these real serious sit downs and like long podcasts, we really got to know him and the inner workings of how he, then I'd be like, well, this is corny. But everything Calid has done to promote other artists, his label, his music has been this and this is why we like it.
Starting point is 00:58:03 So yeah, I laughed at it. But I respect that he keeps coming up with even more creative lives to why. his album's not out. Yeah. I mean, I think we all know why his album
Starting point is 00:58:12 is getting pushed back or why he's pushing back his album because I'm pretty sure he has enough music to put his album out if he wants to put it out. I mean,
Starting point is 00:58:21 Cald is smart and because he is this great marketer, Caled doesn't have the ability to just put an album out and it be successful if he just dropped something. He doesn't have a core fan base that's just going to pay attention
Starting point is 00:58:36 and do that. He needs to have a big single with two A-less artists and do a proper rollout. That's why I didn't believe two weeks ago that that shit was coming out. There's no records. Who would those two A-less artists be right now? I don't know, because I think that's also why
Starting point is 00:58:49 the last two Khalid albums, I felt weren't that great. It's funny. His albums sometimes are really a reflection of where music is at currently. Because Calid is going to get the biggest artist no matter what. And at the time, like, you know,
Starting point is 00:59:04 he got Drake and Little Baby, but I thought that song was dirt. Like, it reflected the time. times and right now I wouldn't know who that would be either to your your question well why he keeps pushing it back because he's not going to get I don't think he's going to get a record from the big three I don't think he's going to get one from Nikki I think he could get one easily from future or Travis Scott but they'd be throwaways that I don't think would be that great I don't know if there's a with his strategy if there is a pool of artists that he can really pick from where
Starting point is 00:59:34 Calid will go number one with an album and how he handled the Tyler thing a few years ago I think Caled is a little sensitive and has a strange ego when it comes to numbers. I think he's shown us that. So I think Caled is scared that if he puts something out, it could really flop if he doesn't have the proper A-list rollout. And listen, as a Hov-Venger, I don't know if Hove doing the intro can save you. I don't know if that's going to get it done. Because that's what saved it last time and that was just one record. Yeah, but I was just great to say there's only one artist.
Starting point is 01:00:08 he creates moments. He could probably have on a lead single right now where it would do something and that's Jay. He's done that so much and I'm, listen, if Callan wants to go get a J versus, no one's going to fucking complain. Go get Kendrick.
Starting point is 01:00:22 Kendrick's not doing that though. Go get Jay Cole. I don't think Cole's doing that. Then who are you going to get? That was kind of what I was just, there's no pool right now that I think. You said who? Let me just say it
Starting point is 01:00:39 Because Pete said, why wouldn't Jay Cole do it? Let me just say it. Nobody wants to hit Jay Cole on a lead single from Calid. That's not who Jay Cole is. I don't want to hear that. Nobody wants to hear that. Unless 21 Savage is on it. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:00:53 Jay Cole and 21 Savage, don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. I just like Cal's biggest strength to me as an executive producer was creating moments. And I just don't know if there's artists that have moments that we care about like that right now in the Khalid lens. Like, yeah, it would be cool for Cole to give him a record, but it would have to be a moment where it's with an artist we don't expect Cole to be with or on a beat that we don't expect Cole to be on.
Starting point is 01:01:21 Unless he wants to go all the way left field and do some type of hip-hop record with Taylor Swift, post-Malone. He's going to have to pivot. His pivot going to have to have to. look like a travel in the NBA. Like his pivot, he's going to have to drag his pivot. Like, because, and let's just be what it is.
Starting point is 01:01:45 You had two Drake songs. You don't have those no more. I don't care who you are. That shifts your entire out. Okay, but I also kind of feel the same way about that. And same with the J thing. Like, no, I would never be mad if Khalid went and got another five-minute J-verse. No, I'd never be mad if Callid went and got a Drake record.
Starting point is 01:02:03 That can't be the least single. He's done that every time where it's like- I'm talking a lead single. And I'm saying that. That can't, like, that doesn't really get it done. Didn't he put out a song? I don't know. I don't think so.
Starting point is 01:02:14 I haven't heard it. I feel like I saw a Cali video. You're thinking of him with Joe and Jada and Stovegod. But again, that wasn't his record. That was he, he just happened to be on the episode that day. Future low baby. Oh, yeah. Maybe Hov and Juan were in the office listening to one of them.
Starting point is 01:02:34 Yeah. That didn't work. Yeah. I knew he put a record out. I just couldn't remember the record. Calid has to find some, I'm not saying some new sound and some like abstract way. Way, way, way, way, way, way, way,
Starting point is 01:02:49 putting the same artist on the same beat is not going to do anything. No, no, no, no, hold on, bro. This is different. I totally forgot about this record. That's Future and Little Baby as your lead single. The snippet, when the snippet came out, we said that was going to come and go. Well, a little baby ain't really getting it done for the number one single no more. Future?
Starting point is 01:03:05 Future is on the song. Yeah, future. but at the time future didn't have an album album. Debuted at number 70? Damn, bro. Yeah, this is a bigger conversation to have, man.
Starting point is 01:03:20 She's about to look real different. Number 70? When I heard that snippet and then that record, that told me that you know what? Maybe Calid isn't lying about that Yankee Stadium shit. When I heard that Future in a little baby shit, I said, oh,
Starting point is 01:03:34 Calid is officially checked out of actually caring about the music too, outside of the moment and the marketing. Because Khaled, outside of the last two, has made great albums. Like, Caled really does have a good body of work when you get into it. I know now it doesn't appear that way,
Starting point is 01:03:49 but last 10 years, yes, there's been great Calib moments and albums. Maybe he did get inspired and go, yeah, I've been lazy and I'm just doing lazy dog shit. Yo, Future, you got something? Oh shit, open verse, yo, baby, I'll email us to you. Let's put it out. That's lazy.
Starting point is 01:04:04 Maybe he was inspired. Maybe he realized that that Future and Baby record was dog shit. It was lazy. It was lazy. It wasn't a moment. And said, you know what? I got to get back to the drawn board and care about the shit again. But even if he cares about it. Yeah, but he, but this is, but not to because what you're saying, Roy, I can't roll with that because he announced the 17th as a release date after that song didn't work.
Starting point is 01:04:26 He put that song out in April and then told us the 17th. When you get complacent and lazy, sometimes you. have a delusional point of view of your career. And you think anything you put out, people are going to gobble up and love until it doesn't happen. And then you're like, oh, okay, yeah, this is kind of shitty. Yo, I don't, yeah, I don't know what Cal are going to do at this point. But also, I think it speaks to, like you said,
Starting point is 01:04:54 it shows the landscape of hip hop. His albums usually show the landscape of hip hop at the time. We have been talking about the landscape of hip hop not being the greatest right now. So I don't even think that's on Khalid at this moment because even if, No, no, no, we can't do that. No, no, no, we can't do that. You can't do that. All right, then show me how good you really are.
Starting point is 01:05:12 We can't. We can't, show me how good you really are as an exact. No, no, no, no. I'm going to tell you why we can't make that as an excuse. Because if he had those two Drake records, this album would be out. Okay, but that's, so we can't say the landscape of hip-hop. We can't say none of that. But that's not what that's not.
Starting point is 01:05:27 The lead single did not work. That doesn't mean that the album would be good. I'm not talking about the album. I'm not, no, no, last time you had two Drake records on that album. I'm not talking about that album. I'm not talking about the album being good. I'm talking about the album being released already. Okay, that's fine.
Starting point is 01:05:40 But I don't, the album, even if the album was released, the album is probably not released because the album is not going to be good. But if he had two Drake album, if he had two Drake singles, would it be released? Yes, but that doesn't mean that the album would be good. So now if you don't have the Drake singles, then the album has to be good, which is probably why it's not coming out,
Starting point is 01:05:58 because where would you go to make the album good? Where would you go outside of the same people that you've already put on it? To me, I'm no music. executive, I'm just a fan of the culture and music and hip hop. To me, the album is not out because the lead single did not work. The future little baby song did not work. No, of course. So all of this I got inspired to Rory's point, maybe he did. Maybe he felt like, damn, like I need to really go in here and pay more attention to detail to the music, like not just grab people and put them on records because of their names and thinking people will click on the song because of their
Starting point is 01:06:30 names, whatever it is. I'm saying it's a safe assumption that it's. If he had those two Drake songs, this album will be out. Now, whether that album would be good or not, that's subjective. I'm saying the album would be out, is what I'm saying. And it's not because he had to pivot, future little baby record, didn't work. Now what? To Demarces's point, is there anything else on his album that's good,
Starting point is 01:06:56 anything that's going to get people like, I don't know. But it's a safe assumption that if he had the lead single, which would have been a Drake record, and then had another Drake record on the album, this album would have been out. Well, I mean, that's, that's just a catch-22 of your whole marketing plan being getting A-listers together, and then the concept of A-list superstars is now gone
Starting point is 01:07:22 when it comes to the new crowd. So now you have to go back to drumboard. Like, that's it. And he kind of shot himself in the foot when he dissed Tyler, when he didn't get the number one. She's like, nobody trying to hear that shit, bro. Tyler outstreams. Every record you put out in the last however many years.
Starting point is 01:07:40 Outstreams, anything future a little baby is going to put out right now. That whole world that you thought was nerds and weirdos are making one incredible music, two streaming very well, selling hard tickets, they're relevant, people care about them, they want to support them, and you diss that entire universe. Because you thought the only way to get to the top is to fuck with A-listers. Now he has to go and maybe beg Bad Bunny to do something with NBA Youngblood. boy. Like he's got a sick ass collab right here. I do too. If you get that one done, I'm not mad at it. That's a sick ass collab. That's a sick ass collab. That's a sick ass collab. Benito and
Starting point is 01:08:20 NBA young boy? I want to hear it kind of. That's a sick ass collab. I wouldn't be mad at. But I'm saying if he if he wants to get back to creating good records in moments, he's going to have to do that shit. Because you just a whole, a whole part of music right now. There's a major shift that has happened in music. especially in our genre and our culture. There's a major shift that has happened creatively, artistically, sonically, I think a lot has changed
Starting point is 01:08:46 and I think we're just starting to, like we're in it now. So we're going to start seeing it. We're going to start feeling it. But yes, it's apparent that there has been a major, major shift in music. So.
Starting point is 01:08:59 Yeah. Maybe he can get J.I.D. in coal. Co-working with anybody else other than J.R.D. Yeah, and y'all So, y'all not going to say that I was right. Like, you still not ready to sit. We gave you your flowers.
Starting point is 01:09:16 Did you? Mad long, when J.I.D. tweeted. We came in here. Because it's flowers died. Nah, I don't know. I don't remember getting flowers, baby, Dee. I don't remember getting flowers. I'll get the monthly subscription.
Starting point is 01:09:25 So you go to your house. Yeah, they go to your house every week. I just don't remember getting flowers. That's all I'm saying. No, when, when J.I.D. tweeted and deleted all that. I came in here and said, bro, I, no, no, no, no. I argued you down.
Starting point is 01:09:36 I was completely wrong. No, no, no, no, no, no. But something else happened since then. Oh, I haven't seen. Cole put out a whole album where he was working with. What's the dude's name? Oh, is his man from North Carolina? Whole album, a homie.
Starting point is 01:09:46 The whole album is crazy. I think he gave him two songs. No, he produced the entire thing. He produced it, yeah. He produced the entire thing in his own three records. Two verses in it and one of them's a hook. Okay, so, okay. It was not a bad project, either, by the way.
Starting point is 01:10:00 Respectfully, everybody clowns, Cole's production all the time anyway. So it ain't like he, it ain't like Kanye produced it. Yo, baby Digo's swing. for Cole. I'm not just swing that back. No, it's actually she's doing the opposite and I was going to make that point too. Respectfully, I don't think J.I.D. wants an entirely produced Jake Cole. That's what I'm about it. Like, that ain't no gift.
Starting point is 01:10:16 Like, Jay Cole doesn't want an entirely produced Jake Cole. Y. I'm missing the point. Yes, he do. He do want that. Nobody did it for the first one. And then after that was like, I was saying J.I.D. wants an entire album produced by J. Cole. I'm saying what I've been saying. Dumb niggins ain't on no songs together. We've been said that.
Starting point is 01:10:33 We agreed with you mad long ago. No, but then this case. out and y'all didn't say nothing about that you want us to agree with you again at least be like yo ma'an ain't gonna lie it's yeah it's looking it's looking like they're not they don't fuck with each other we already said that no you ain't say that you didn't say that when he put the tweet out when he put the tweets out we said damn maw you got a point you probably right they don't fuck with each other because of the tweets it's obvious something's wrong we had a whole episode about it you said that yes oh did we already say that I don't know
Starting point is 01:11:02 I don't know he's he's holding out for the the Calid moment with J.I.D. and Cole. This is, you know, that entire PFG album is part of Callid's rollout to start the tension between the J.I.D. and Cole shit. That's all it is. That's going to be the moment. Damn, man.
Starting point is 01:11:22 You want to be a cool moment that Khaled could do if they're in a good place? What? Cuevo and Offset. That would be a cool moment. I would like that moment just because their family and everything that happened, but that would be a moment.
Starting point is 01:11:37 Yo, look what he, Cala got to get family back together. Yeah. No, now it's time to, yo, now it's time to be an executive. The music still got to be good, though. I don't care about niggas policing up a relationship. The music got to be good. If the music ain't good, none of that shit matters no more. Well, anything on the hard drive, I want them to save for whatever Migos tribute album that they put out.
Starting point is 01:12:01 Save all that. Don't give that to nobody. But I think Kuevo and offset, if they were in a good space personally, both have the ability to make a great song together. A new song, the two of them in 2026. Do we think Calla goes Cardi? I'm assuming so. Both together.
Starting point is 01:12:26 Cardi, Cardi squared? That's working. Call it Cardiere. Does he go there? No, I don't want to hear that. I don't hear that either. I'm just throwing shit out. We just, we just, we just whiteboarding right now.
Starting point is 01:12:40 We just throwing shit up. Which is probably what the fuck he was doing, Is he trying to figure out who the fuck? Oh, he's doing more than that. Unless you're going to keep reusing the same artist over and over and over and for every album, who are you? Unless you jump completely into the new generation. You have to jump completely into the new generation.
Starting point is 01:12:52 But this was also inevitable too because people do start to age. Caled did a great job of even when he was starting to age, still fucking with the young artist. It's not like all the Caled albums were all legacy acts or artists' age. He was fucking with the young artists. But he may just get into the age that this new set of young artists just really ain't for me. Like this was eventually. going to happen. Call had tried to stay
Starting point is 01:13:14 relevant and did with a generation below him and I applaud him for that because that's difficult but two generations below you yeah. Because Cal is not cool to them and I don't mean that as a slight the young kids, that's not their thing. Calle are going to get a Farrell and Jay record. I want to hear it. Yeah, no, I want to hear it. Like I can see that being a move.
Starting point is 01:13:37 Or clips in Jay. You think Beyonce going to breathe on a record for him? Listen, Beyonce has been sitting next to three chairs for the past month. It means act three is coming. Like y'all not paying attention to the clues that she's given us. Yeah. Now, Beyonce's Act three tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:13:53 Act three is not tomorrow. As they're listening to this, Act three dropped. No. She babysitting, she got babysitting her kids right now. Babysitting your own kids is crazy. Yeah, babysitting her kids right now. How you babysitting her kids? You mean she's being a mom?
Starting point is 01:14:05 She got babysitting her own kids. No, because you're a mom 24-7. But, you know, she got her kids right now. Jay usually happens when she on tour. Or Jay on tour, she got the kids. kids. So. Babesitting your kids is funny as...
Starting point is 01:14:16 He's doing spot days. It's, you know. It's Jay time right now. Act three will be out in 2028. I think 28? Nah, two years, no way. You think 2027? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:30 If not, there's two different photos of three... I think we get Act three the same day we get Doomsday, Marvel. Damn, play on words. Yeah, I think we get the same day. December 18th? I can see B.D. something around that time. I mean, listen,
Starting point is 01:14:45 Calid is Rock Nation. Jay could ask Beyonce for a favor? What record's not making Act 3? Pass it over here. You know why that's a tough spot? This is why that's a tough spot, and we can move on after this, but because the first single didn't work,
Starting point is 01:15:03 whatever single he goes with next, there's a lot of pressure. Yeah, you can't play with this one. You can't. I don't think there's pressure. I don't think anybody's looking for it for there to be pressure. But their internal world is.
Starting point is 01:15:15 Oh, like the... Yeah, yeah. I'm talking about... I don't think... That could still be successful. Just because you have a dud in this era, you could come out three weeks later and no one's going to remember that shit if this shit is good.
Starting point is 01:15:25 But it's just a lot of... But for the song to work, it's a lot of pressure on whatever artist that is. Because now... Because this will be the backup plan, right? The first single didn't work. The next one out of the chamber, got to work.
Starting point is 01:15:41 So if you go... Huh? he got to go with Tim's he got to go with Tims or Kalani I don't know if I want to hear the Kaylani Cali record
Starting point is 01:15:53 I'm cool with a a Thames-Calid record to me makes sense Tims and did Tems and Gunna have a record not that I know of let's look that up
Starting point is 01:16:06 because I could have forgotten no I could see a Thames and Gunna if the right favors were pulled Tim's and Gunner I like that
Starting point is 01:16:18 That sounds palatable That would be good I like that That sounds palatable I'm not mad at that I would click on that To hear what they did I don't want to hit Beaver
Starting point is 01:16:29 Beavis is always a good Good backup for Khalid When he needs it But we got the How many Calibaba records we got Could him out And I feel like if it ain't A Calibaba record
Starting point is 01:16:39 Beaver record Bebeer record gonna sound like A Caller record Like I don't want to hear that The Bebs and Thames That chemistry on the Coachella stage. You never know.
Starting point is 01:16:50 I'm sure they've worked. I do think Caled is going to a lot of studio sessions and listening to a lot of hard drives. I'll say that. One million. I'll say that. He's been in New York for a while. Yes. He's been working.
Starting point is 01:17:03 Well, let's, I mean, let's look at the Billboard. I'm not mad if Tim's going to. Billboard put out a list of the top. I say Farrell, Jay. I can see Thames and Leon Thomas. Caled does like to focus on who, like, the up-and-coming big act is as well. He got to have rap on it, though.
Starting point is 01:17:21 The first single got to be rap. Do it? I do it. Yes. Some of his biggest hits are not rap at all. His biggest hit is Breonna and Bryson. He didn't rap. It's rap adjacent, though.
Starting point is 01:17:35 Bryson is kind of like, it's R&B, but it's rap. Nah. Yeah, I mean, it's Bryson. It's R&B. That's what he does both. So it's kind of, you know, that's Bryson. So it's not. and popped also I'm the one is pop wild thoughts is pop
Starting point is 01:17:50 look who's on there rap it has to be rap it has to be you're same ones but if you go to like the top stream ones if we want to make that matter because it does the call it like the first four three out of four are not rap
Starting point is 01:18:06 wild thoughts is what song are you talking about I'm the one wild thoughts for free and just way and the chance the rap is on there that's rap yeah but I'm the one is not a rap song. It's a pop song. Is Wayne rapping on there? It's not a, just because my rap song doesn't make it a rap song. It's a pop song. I said it needs rap. You have to have a rapper on the record, which is why I said I like Tim's Gunner. That is palatable to me. But you need Gunner, you got to have rap on there somewhere. He can't just give us full
Starting point is 01:18:36 straight R&B as the least thing. Does Greece have any rap on it? No. Wild thoughts, no. I don't think so. I don't think so. No, bro. If Caled was, if this was like 10 years ago and that Young Miami record came out, yes, I could see Callet and Young Miami. That would be the next single for sure. But I don't know if Young Miami is going to give that to Khalid. Maybe that's why she left the tour. Because Callet said it. She got to go do the record.
Starting point is 01:19:09 Again, I mean disrespectful. I don't know if Calut's in that position now where every artist is like, oh, that's the cool thing for me to do right now. No. So, I don't know, we'll see. Remember Holy Key was a thing? I know who he got to go get I ain't going to say it because I don't work for Calais
Starting point is 01:19:25 but I know who he got to go get I know who can save him right now Trace Long's? Who? I'm so sorry No, I know who I know who could give him a bomb right now for sure But he got to pay me for that
Starting point is 01:19:38 All right, we'll bleep it Can you say it because we want to Don's Oliver I figured you would say that Yeah But also now you're acting like the commenters that I hate. Like that is, that's kind of,
Starting point is 01:19:54 I'm sure Caled has thought of that. Like, I'm sure that's, that's been a conversation in a Rock Nation office that, hey, we should go get that guy. They did one together? Years ago? Yeah, but Don is in a whole different
Starting point is 01:20:07 space right now. Whole different, I like the whole different space. You know, he's in a whole different space. Yeah, that would definitely work. For sure. No. Today's show is brought to you by our presenting sponsor Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook. Mall football slash soccer is over.

My first thought is, like, what's up with the snacks? Like, what are we eating? The highlights, the rivalries, the breakout stars, the moments that take over your entire timeline.
Starting point is 01:22:35 And the conversations that start during the game and somehow keep going all week. Every week, we're breaking down the biggest stories across women's sports. I remember you thinking that. Listen to Podlandia. Ayo, rewatch on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Nick Totoro.
Starting point is 01:24:14 You probably know me from NYPD Blue, the longest yard, or Spike Lee's Black Landsman. But I'm also from Queens, which means I know pizza. And on my new podcast, delivering happiness, Nick Totoro, I deliver pizza from Prince Street pizza to a new guest. You deliver pizza now? Then we sit down for a real conversation. I've shared a slice with everyone from Seth Rollins.
Starting point is 01:24:35 What are you doing? My belt? To Alex Rodriguez. Just to let you people know, we're talking to one of the goats here. To Bill Burr. I don't think I've ever met somebody so exactly out of their mind as I am. And now, we even have more great guests coming up, including the great John Totoro. It's called Happiness. Delivering
Starting point is 01:24:53 happiness. Mariano Rivera. And many, many more. Open your free high, hard radio app. Search Delivering Happiness with Nick Tutorough. And listen now. But you guys see the Billboard. RIP, T. Keith. Yes, definitely R&P.
Starting point is 01:25:13 Sorry, his name was just listed as the producer for that track. We got another list. Of course, halfway through the year. How could we stop? But at least R&B is getting some looks on these. Halfway through the year, the staff picks from Billboard. hottest R&B acts of 2026. Kind of just more on the side of reading them.
Starting point is 01:25:33 I don't know if we're going to get a big argument out of this one. I love how they put this, how they put staff picks now so that billboard doesn't get like, now all the writers get like in trouble for it. The hottest, K1 and number 10 is already wrong for me. But where would she be? She got to be higher than. Top five.
Starting point is 01:25:50 All pride side is really, really bad. K1 is hotter than Givion right now. y'all know i love givian that is a fact duran bernar he might need to be hired he was just nominated for how many grimmies a lot yeah well let's see who's hired in them before we make that judgment brent all of them people need to be hired in brent respectfully right now and i love i mean i really like brent's album but i hear you were okay duran k1 and they said hottest i don't know Hivion.
Starting point is 01:26:21 Givion, yeah, I don't know. Okay. They have Givion at, I mean, they have Duran at 8 and they have Brent at 7. Joe Scott at 6. Okay. Listen, where I just disagree with this list is the word hottest. That's what I'm focusing. Yes, hot.
Starting point is 01:26:36 Like, I like Jill Scott's album, but hottest, like even to give you, I don't know, Givion's the hottest. No. Chris Brown is selling out stadiums. Well, he's number five. He's number five. Okay. Ray is number four.
Starting point is 01:26:48 Ray of four, who I really love. Ray is really hot, but I don't know if she's hotter than Chris Brown right now. Tim's is hot. I don't know if Tim's is hotter than K1 in Durand right now. Is she R&B? And is she R&B? And is she R&B. Which is her R&B songs go crazy, but I don't know if that's the bulk of her.
Starting point is 01:27:11 The core of her stuff is definitely Afro beats. Her solo stuff is Afro beats to me, but she sings R&B on Afropeats. So, yeah, she can go in 2026, maybe. that is R&B. Afro beats is one of the biggest genres, but there's going to be some type of gray area. Okay. Like, I wouldn't say she is an R&B, but she's not like a solely an R&B artist, like a K. Lonnie is two. He was number two last year. So he ain't buzzed? Kaylani is number one right now. I'm not mad at that. I just think Chris Brown should be top three. Yes, I agree. Chris Brown is hotter than Leon Thomas is hot, but Chris Brown is always hotter than these
Starting point is 01:27:48 people. I almost, y'all know how I feel about Leon, but I love Liam. The person that's opening up for the guy can't be higher
Starting point is 01:27:55 on the list. Than the guy. We'll be talking. The opener can't be hotter than the headline. I almost, I almost was gonna buy tickets to that Usher Chris Brown
Starting point is 01:28:04 show, but then I saw a clip and Usher got his ass out. I'm like, yeah. Oh, Usher got his ass out. Oh, wait. By the top tickets right now. Yeah, I'm like, I'm cool, man.
Starting point is 01:28:12 I can't. That ain't for me. I think that's for the lady. I think it's the ladies only tour. Respectable both of those legends, but I think I'm going to sit this one out. Well, in the clip, you'll probably know when that set is,
Starting point is 01:28:24 like when he brings the lamp out, I'll just close your eyes. No, no, no, no, I'm cool. Let me zoom in? I think it's the ladies only. Ladies only, I believe. I think that's what the ticket say, Roar. I mean, it's just butt sheets. I like you got a dick out.
Starting point is 01:28:35 You barely saw a crack. That's a whole crack. I see more of P's crack in this fucking office than that. Yeah, that's not going to stop me from singing, you got it bad at the show. Mind you, the person on the phone zoomed in. If you were at the show, I don't even think you would notice that.
Starting point is 01:28:51 Maybe that was just at that show and his pants sagged. Like maybe that's not part of the- No, that's part of it. Yeah. First of all, Usher is, he might be in a midlife crisis. Let's talk about it. Oh, hell. He got his ass out on tour, on his tour right now.
Starting point is 01:29:06 We love Usher. Super legend. He got his ass out at the show. And then he came to the Yankee Stadium with Jay-Z with his chest out. Yeah. I mean, he's an R&B singer. Let's bring back. No, let's bring back.
Starting point is 01:29:19 You can put a shirt on, man. No, R&B used to be shirtless. At the Jay-Z show, you can put your fucking shirt on. Nah, fuck that. You got a leather jacket on with no shirt. Ooh, R&B. That's real R&B. This is Jay-Z's concert.
Starting point is 01:29:32 So? Put a shirt on, fan. How many rappers take their shirts off? You can't say this is Jay-Z's concert. Ain't no rapper take their shirt off at J-Z's concert. Who had their shirt off? That shit was the only nigga in the whole stadium with the shirt. I guarantee R. Kelly had his shirt off at one of them show.
Starting point is 01:29:47 Yeah, 100%. It was two shows. No, no, he did. what we talk about it was two shows he took his shirt off to cover his eyes it was two shows
Starting point is 01:29:55 maybe three and no he did not yeah I'm just saying I should go through something right now he's trying I don't think he's going through something
Starting point is 01:30:02 he has R&B shit I like that he's the eldest but how many rap shows is rappers just where they shirt off the whole time we're talking about
Starting point is 01:30:08 at a Jay Z concert why do y'all I've never seen Tupac's I'm saying a JZ show I'm talking about a rap show I'm talking about JZ's
Starting point is 01:30:15 what is okay so it's still a rap show what makes his show so different all right never mind that people can't have their shirts off at it. And they were performing throwback. They were a confession's record.
Starting point is 01:30:24 He's a guest. He's a guest. I've definitely had my shirt off at a guest house before. That's why they didn't invite you back. You're going to buy the act. You're a guest. Keep your fucking shirt on. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:37 I like it. That's usher, man. Nah, man. You were singing the hook. The game in YG got a new song. Produced by Swiss and Timberland, the day that the verses created by Swiss and Timberlin happened. Coincidence.
Starting point is 01:30:49 I just know if today is the day to talk about organized crime. Well, maybe they had like scheduled it to come out. Maybe it was pre-knit. No, it sounds great. Good West Coast sample. Got that sample probably 200 times already. Still works every time. No, that's what the same is.
Starting point is 01:31:06 That's what the same is to grab the ear. Like this sounds familiar. I know this song. But it's like, you know. You a hater a little bit. How? A little bit. Telling us to keep a shirt on is, is hate.
Starting point is 01:31:17 at a Jay Z I'm not saying Keep his shirt on at him and Chris Brown show When you're coming out to sing a hook with Jay Z You can put a fucking shirt on bro Hey what are we going He was I mean they was backstage for mad fucking long Maybe he spilled something on it
Starting point is 01:31:32 In the meantime There was mad merch in the building There was merch everywhere That nigga could have put on a douce tee shirt He could have put on a duce tee shirt He could have put on a Yenkees jersey He could have put on all kind of shit No he's in his name
Starting point is 01:31:47 I'm telling you, he knows he's the eldest statesman in R&B. He on tour with this young, hot nigga, Chris Brown. He wanted to show, nigga, I'm in shape. I'm 40-plus years old. My shit. That's not a mid-life. Like, if he looks like Bobby Brown now and came out without his shirt, I'd be like, this may be a mid-life price.
Starting point is 01:32:05 He should put a shirt on. You know, body-shaming. That's called body-shaming, baby, D. Am I correct? Oh, I think. Is that called body-shaming, baby, D? Am I correct? Oh, my correct, baby, D.
Starting point is 01:32:15 Is that body-samey yes or no? I think we need more of that in the way. worlds. Yes, I'm body shaving. See, I'm not body shaming. My body doesn't look great. I keep my motherfuck shirt on. Put a shirt on at a Jay Z show. You don't got a sexy niggas out at a Jay Z show. This ain't that. This nigga up here. You guys wasn't playing about Fiesta. You're not half naked with the doves. What? Or I mean, with the dancers, not the dubs, the dancers. Yonse was not half naked. She had on the t-shirt and shorts.
Starting point is 01:32:41 Them shorts was this long, bull. All right, so she didn't have fucking Caprize on. So now, so that means she was half naked? ass was out and that's okay And respectfully Yeah, one of why I complaining about that Because it's us here. We can't, the ladies can't get nothing I'm just saying this is It's first of all that's Jay's wife
Starting point is 01:32:58 So cool Nicker you were a guest Put a shirt on bro This ain't this is hip hop This ain't sexy time Don't you come try to sexy out Yankee Stadium You performed throwback A Confessions record
Starting point is 01:33:12 Yes it was sexy time It was sexy time of the show He did that song Mad Times with a shirt on. He performed those records. Matter of fact, I saw him at his show at Barclays last year and he had a shirt off. You, Mall's talking
Starting point is 01:33:27 like Jada Kiss came out with a shirt off. We told him an R&B singer named Usher. I don't care. I don't think he's going through a midlife crisis. I just think he still got his body. When he sit down with what's my guy's name that anybody sit down when they're having a midlife price? Oh, you know what? I'm going to get Mall here. Jay Shetty? Who's that?
Starting point is 01:33:44 Demaris, what's more of a midlife crisis? Usher coming out with his shirt off or Jay-Z at his age with security wearing a bulletproof vest on stage. What's more of a mid-life crisis? What's more of a mid-life crisis? How's that a mid-life crisis? Like, first of all, it's an anniversary
Starting point is 01:33:58 to his 30-year album. That's a uniform that represents his music. Usher without a shirt is a uniform of his music. That's what R&B singers do. No, it's not. And I think there's nothing wrong with Jay wearing a bulletproof vest. I love you.
Starting point is 01:34:09 That's because these niggas don't have nice bodies no more. And that's my point. Again, y'all back the body shaming. Make R&B. You and Rory on the same page We want people to be healthy. Y'all body shame. Stop drinking, lean, and do some sit-ups.
Starting point is 01:34:22 I'm saying at a Jay-Z anniversary show, you could come out, do your R&B shit, you can put a shirt on. If you can wear a bill of proof vest, which I thought was great, I thought that was the coolest shit that Hove could wear for those anniversaries, I think somebody, his age
Starting point is 01:34:36 from his era as an R&B artist when they're in shape, should go no shirt. We're representing the heiress. Crazy as hell. I want fine niggas back in music again. Remember L.L. these rappers don't look like L no more
Starting point is 01:34:47 every rapper is ugly as the fuck and I'm tired of that shit name them no I'm cool but I want them to look like L. L again like I bring sexy back to music yo that's all I'm saying can we break right
Starting point is 01:34:59 no whoa before we do what happened was rappers used to take steroids now they take OZemik what happened you stopped us to do that I was gonna go into a conversation but then you got mad
Starting point is 01:35:12 mom was like I was sitting here like I was going to go to a conversation, but then you looked like I don't want to talk. No, he got a pee. He wanted to talk about OZIPIC. Shut the fuck up, man.
Starting point is 01:35:24 It's an epidemic. No, go ahead. Roy, you keep talking. Let them all pee. What you were saying about OZIPC? You were talking about Midlife crisis, nigga. You can't even get up off the couch.
Starting point is 01:35:33 Oh, the one I kept trying to make, but Ma kept stepping on it. Peas was over here crying. I was trying to segue, but Maugh kept stepping on the segue. Pete was over here dying. I'm like, I I'm trying to move a time, bro.
Starting point is 01:35:46 Was it about Oz epic? No, I was trying to, no. I was trying to say that, what the fuck was I trying to say? The billboard list, like, transfer from Calates to the billboard list. I did. I did hear you do that before. Yeah, I did hear that. That shit was over here.
Starting point is 01:36:02 We was over here fucking dying. Yeah, a couple of times. I ain't need a step on your transmission, baby, D. My bad. Transmission. Yeah, I ain't need to step on there. All right, well, since we're on transmissions. Before we get to new music, can we talk about last week?
Starting point is 01:36:17 Okay, what happened last week? That was like one of my favorite New Music Fridays of the year. What drop? It was like my type of R&B all decided to drop in one day. Like it took me a week to even get to everyone's project. Masego, fix your face. Shout out of Sago. Saygo.
Starting point is 01:36:34 It's my favorite Mesego album to date. It's hard. It's his best music. Amre, peyote, incredible. And I like the fact that you ain't talking about everybody told him about Jay cutting his hair why you ain't
Starting point is 01:36:46 talking about why you ain't told him I didn't see it I mean the first single yeah it was part of it yeah like you know me
Starting point is 01:36:52 Sego cut his shit too that's what's up yeah dame you know what I'm saying like just cutting their head bitch Sego cut his shit
Starting point is 01:37:01 oh skino why you're not talking about Sego I ain't that long like to cut it I mean but like I like to see you you know what
Starting point is 01:37:08 what wavelength with waves you want to bring the waves back I may bring the way make me see I got vertigo already. It's really slow clap.
Starting point is 01:37:19 That's three. We got three slow claps. That nigga is. He got three. Yo, at the four of one, we got to test your heart monitor for stroke, you might be stroking out again. Check the comments.
Starting point is 01:37:32 That one's going to age well. The internet will prove that that one was a good joke. You guys are wrong. Yeah, that's a slow burn. That might be a slow burn right there. You're right. That's a slow burn for sure. But also I have to give them all some
Starting point is 01:37:45 flowers outside of like yes please Andre we already know what it's time it is with her happy she has this project out but it does add into mall's theory of lesbians making the best R&B music we forgot to add Ambre on to that list I'm trying to tell you're not listening you're not doing the science with me the lesbians are running R&B right now
Starting point is 01:38:05 is it that the lesbians are running R&B or is it that everybody's a lesbian two things can be true the matter just sheer percentages yeah it's like sheer percentages Two things can be true, but Sid dropped in a dope project. Beard, which is a hilarious title. Hilarious title. We know what Sid doing.
Starting point is 01:38:23 Ambre, another dope project. Did you get a chance to listen to the bearded? Yeah. How good is that shit? Crazy, but Ambray went nuts. To me she doesn't have a bad project. She's so good. Like, Ambray, another dope project.
Starting point is 01:38:35 Like, the lesbian is. Because the best music is made about women. That's why hip hop ain't good anymore. All they want to talk about is disrespecting women. if you were to talk about loving women, the music is better. Now that's just today they started on that. Hip hop in male R&B.
Starting point is 01:38:51 Talk about loving women. It'll get better. Well, I mean, the R&B, the R&B artist, there's some gay representation on that side as well, good R&B. Duran cleaning niggas up.
Starting point is 01:39:03 Smoking. I had my second favorite album last year. And they say Leon Thomas look like a... See, we're not doing that. You ain't say that when he was here to his face. It's crazy. They said it.
Starting point is 01:39:14 I we... That's crazy. You read tweet. We made jokes but you're reading to the meme when I sent it to you. Nah, but you retweeting it though. You retweeted.
Starting point is 01:39:21 I didn't retweet. That's the reason. Leon know I love him. Whenever you say they, first of what, that's the December. And Leon laughed at it. He caught.
Starting point is 01:39:27 I'm the real I'm referring to. He's on the real laughing. They say that he looks like a lesbian. Okay. If he's okay with him, he laughed at it. It's funny. They say he looked like to start.
Starting point is 01:39:38 I'm laughing. Yeah. But he had you laughed. Leon, I'm only laughing because you laugh. Like, I ain't laughing if you ain't laughing. But we know Leon's not gay. Leon get bitches, but they say he looks like a stuff. You don't know his situation?
Starting point is 01:39:48 Oh, my bad. I'm sorry. He could be in a committed relationship. He might get niggins and bitches. Like, well, I didn't say that. I meant like he may have a girl. I'm just saying we don't know. We don't know.
Starting point is 01:39:56 I think I know that Leon don't get niggas. Okay. Well, don't want the niggas that he may get. Let's just change the thing. That was the greatest shit. Umbre's girlfriend is gorgeous. Yeah. A beautiful relationship.
Starting point is 01:40:10 That's good. Shout out to Ombray. Another dope project, man. Love Ambr. Steve Lacey. came out as well. Oh, yeah. It was a great
Starting point is 01:40:16 music Friday last week. Like, can't say enough about it. Steve is gay, right? I don't know. And I know some people find that offensive, but I'm not sure, and I think that may have been a thing. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:40:26 Is he fluid? Well, stop talking. I don't know. Please stop talking. Why y'all get mad? I'm asking. I'm searching for the answers. I'm asking questions.
Starting point is 01:40:36 He's strict. Steve. A.I said he's strictly straight. He identifies his sexuality as fluid. He's not. He's not strictly straight. He's fluid. He's fluid like you said, Mom.
Starting point is 01:40:45 Oh, okay. See, I be saying shit and y'all be thinking I'm trying to be funny and just like... I defended you. I said I wasn't sure. He's fluid. Yeah, he's fluid. Yeah. Fluid and queer.
Starting point is 01:40:53 All right. So we got more... Outside of Sago, it was a very LGBTQ friendly R&B Friday. Yo. That as someone that is strictly straight, right? Loved. Yes. What Friday.
Starting point is 01:41:05 I supported last Friday. What a fucking Friday. What it was on the calendar. I don't know what type of holiday it was, but the representation was heavy and I supported. Y'all saw it, speaking of Duran, did you see what a homie on Vlad that was allegedly fucking Stefan Dix? That was the craziest clip I've seen in class and time. I didn't see that.
Starting point is 01:41:26 I don't really click on like. He said there's, he heard Duran said there's a difference between heterosexual and straight. And he's like, I don't know what that is. So I just want to make y'all know that I am completely straight. And then he went on to describe Stefan Diggs taking him out shopping like he was one of the girls. He was like, in my opinion, we weren't in a relationship. I don't know if we were. But I'm straight.
Starting point is 01:41:48 I don't know if we were in a relationship. If you're straight, you know you not in a relationship with a man. If you're not straight, you know you in a relationship. Like, you know if you're in a relationship or not. Like, what are we talking about? So he would, and then he went on and say, this is a quote. You don't know if you're in a relationship? It's before you, a girl has been in a relationship with you and you ain't
Starting point is 01:42:06 been a relationship with her before. And you ain't know. You ain't know that I was your, she was out here calling you her man. Okay. You're missing what I said. I said, you know when you're in a relationship. You know when you're not in a relationship. In your mind, you might want to be in a relationship, but you know that ain't your man.
Starting point is 01:42:21 See, that's delusion. That'd be the delusion, and I can't fight the delusion for you. That's your battle to fight, right? We both know we ain't in a relationship. We kick it. We hang out. We do those type of things. But you know if you see me on a random Tuesday at lunch with a young lady, you know you can't come up to the table acting crazy.
Starting point is 01:42:40 you know you can't do that. Of course. But because you're straight and she's straight, there is a possibility that that could even exist, right? Right. But if a man has that same delusion, it's still no way we're in a relationship because there's not even a chance we're fucking.
Starting point is 01:42:56 Right. Yeah. And then this guy said, didn't this guy reach out to both of us to try to come on the show to clear this up? Yeah, he did. He went on like a mass DM streak to every podcaster to come on the show.
Starting point is 01:43:08 He said, and I quote, in my bitch-ass mind I didn't realize that he was only buying bags for the girls and me. The camera guy they were with didn't get a bag, his brother didn't get a bag, he said, I was
Starting point is 01:43:23 getting gifts like I was one of the girlies. I got news for you. I was waiting for it. If Stefan Diggs is buying the girls and you a bag, I got news for you. I mean, he's trying to Yeah.
Starting point is 01:43:42 Ma. Just saying. Can this be backed up? Excuse me? I mean, say, can this be backed up? Can we, like, is this proven or is he on a smear campaign? No, well, he's in some litigation with, because he got, he was assaulted by his brother. He just submitted like over a thousand, I think, emails with text messages to the authorities and shit like that.
Starting point is 01:44:07 So, I mean, he's, listen, man, he, he, he, he don't seem like he going away. And I've seen that he had a little back and forth. fall for Cardi too. I think Cardi has said I mean that usually happens with exes and baby mothers
Starting point is 01:44:19 that's right yeah yeah right on par so yeah I just to me and we just
Starting point is 01:44:26 talking shit but to me in all seriousness when you was heterosexual men don't go through shit like you don't think
Starting point is 01:44:32 he had the weebey meme moment where he was like I was one of the girls yeah like that don't that's not a real thing
Starting point is 01:44:39 you don't you don't go through that calling him a life Lizard funny as fuck. That's actually mad funny. Who called them that? Are they saying Cardi called him that?
Starting point is 01:44:48 But I don't know if that's like confirmed, but they said Cardi called him a light skin lizard. That's actually mad funny. I mean, listen, man, it is. Love who you love, man. But you can't be beating niggas up because they don't want to give you no butt, though. That's crazy.
Starting point is 01:45:04 Or send your brother to go do it. Yeah, like, you can't be doing that. That's a gay RICO. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's a Grico. Richard Griego. You put him in the Richard Grico You niggas is in the Griko
Starting point is 01:45:31 Put him in the dick Grico You know, you niggins is living sick lives out here Man Oh my God That's some funny shit right there, man Niggas is in a Griko baby Unsuspect they didn't even know Yo man
Starting point is 01:45:55 This is craziness Yo, that is wild as fuck. Rory, did you see that Victoria and Monet has a new album coming out? DeBarris, what if we were dating and you found out of my past that a man took me shopping and bought me bags? And I still got the bag. I take it on dates with us. Shabang! Oh, shit.
Starting point is 01:46:31 Anyways, Victoria Monet. Another lesbian. She's bisexual. Oh, I'm sorry. Yeah. Bisexual. She puts a toe in the pool. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:46:42 She put her album cover out, classic already. No skips. Frequency of Love. She on there talking bad? A-O-Y. Look at the cover. I mean... October 2nd?
Starting point is 01:46:55 Yeah. Damn. But she did drop us. She dropped a single. Which is great. Yeah. But I mean, I'm glad she gave us this image. Reach out.
Starting point is 01:47:03 Kate Trinada produced. K. Tranada and D. Mile, if I'm not mistaken. Reach out. Reach out. Yeah. It sounds really good. I remember the internet was, yeah, the internet was like fake turning out of her saying she didn't have a sound. I think that's such bullshit. I think Victoria has a very strong sound.
Starting point is 01:47:21 Yeah, she has a very strong sound, which we can contribute a lot to D.Mile, but yeah. And what's wrong with also not having like just a signature sound? She has a signature. I think she does, but like there's also nothing wrong if you don't have one. Well, they were saying, like, we don't know what to do with her. We don't know where to put her. They don't know how to market her. You know the internet is fucking stupid.
Starting point is 01:47:42 Jaguar II was incredible. Whatever they did, do the same market. People on the internet saying, we don't know how to market. Y'all are not marketers. Like, fucking look what you mean. Niggas on the internet are like, we don't know how to market it. Y'all are not marketers. So you shouldn't know how to market Victoria Monet.
Starting point is 01:47:58 Exactly. But I'm excited. Shout out to punch. I'm not being a dick at, I promise. I saw somebody tweet. yo I love Ab Sol but we should like put him in the studio with Farrell and lock in and punch replied damn you should be in the business I'm sure Absol wants to work at Farrell.
Starting point is 01:48:19 Yo that's funny and lock in that's one hell of a collect who even what even made your brain yeah no no rap has ever thought about locking in with Farrell like I don't even niggas don't even think about that but yes today new music Friday shout out to last week, but we do have Tyler, full project. She just put out like a EP, right? A pretty quick turnaround. Definitely a few months, but
Starting point is 01:48:44 I fuck with Tyler, but the way y'all speak about Tyler is how I feel about Thames. When we had that argument of like the next Rihanna shit. Her EP was, sorry, just to... Go ahead. Her EP was last year, this time last year. Oh, okay. Yes.
Starting point is 01:49:00 I don't know why I thought it was at the top of like this year. No. That's fine, my name. I'm... It threw everything off of you. It's COVID all over again for you. Don't worry about that. That's true.
Starting point is 01:49:09 Nick, time and all. All track of time. Time is a construct. He might be able to clap on the two and four now. Maybe. We'll have to test that. That was kind of the trash part of that. Like, I thought I was going to come out with powers.
Starting point is 01:49:20 But yeah. Didn't work? No, just brain fog. Yeah, sorry. Come on, buddy. That's it. But yeah, how y'all speak about Tyler is all the things that should be to Thames, but I'm still here for it.
Starting point is 01:49:29 I like Tyler a lot. Is that Willow Smith? I'm here for that. I'm here for that. I did not know Cyprus still had a project coming out. Baby Drew. All right. Last week was more for me, but there's some shit here.
Starting point is 01:49:44 It's a lot. I mean, it's a lot of music dropping, for sure. I know Demaris is really excited for that Boston, Ritchie. You said it off mic. Why would I be excited for that? Out of the entire list off mic, you said. I said, oh, I didn't know he was putting a project out. Oh, LeCaley's putting out a single.
Starting point is 01:50:00 It's out already. Chad Hugo. It's out? Out and the video. It's great. Fire. It's going to work, too. Like, it's a really, really good record.
Starting point is 01:50:07 Yeah, she texted me. told me she was putting out some new shit so i gotta check that out yeah video's dope too the the feral chad hugo beef it's about to start man do I say that we've saw the stuff behind the scenes with certain lawsuits and little things here and there but chad's always quiet
Starting point is 01:50:24 chad's talking his shit now yeah okay I don't think chad wants to be quiet anymore I'm not saying a real beef but I think this is the start of chad coming outside all right and I think that's gonna start the conversation which I don't deem to be true.
Starting point is 01:50:39 I think they're both incredible producers that helped each other out in every way. But that's going to start the online shit. Like, yo, I told you all for real, didn't do anything and it was always Chad. I think that's going to start happening. Oh, you know that for sure. But it's a really good writer.
Starting point is 01:50:53 But yeah, that's new music Fridays. There's a whole list. Ryan, I'll put it in the description, I guess. All right. Do we have voicemails? None of y'all were even reading anything. I'm not reading all that shit. I'm not even listening to all that shit.
Starting point is 01:51:07 Who are we kidding? You know what? I appreciate a real nigga. I'm not listening to it's a lot of those artists I don't care if they drop or something. I was saying that's why I read the ones I cared about.
Starting point is 01:51:17 Yeah, I'm not going to read all that shit just to read it. Good, they're putting out of music dope. Out of that shit I'm not listening to though. Why is it bold that Boston Richie's putting something up? What do you mean? It's bold. That's what DeMair said.
Starting point is 01:51:28 I'm asking. Oh, I don't know. Why does you say that? No reason. Huh? No reason. So why did you say that? I just felt like saying it.
Starting point is 01:51:36 All right. Well. And she's lying. I'm going to get down to the bottom of that. Let's talk about it on a Patreon. We talk about it on a Patreon. Can we? Sure.
