Starting point is 00:01:09 Welcome back. Welcome back to a new episode of the new Rory and Mall podcast. I am Mall. I'm Rory. And we are back. We usually do that with guests. I don't think we've ever done that like, what it's just us. It's okay. No, I like the intro. I'm fine by it. Listen, man.
Starting point is 00:01:24 It's just a new listening. The God is back. Nothing can steer me wrong today. The God is back. Oh, the world is healing, baby, Dee. Who are we sponsored by? We are sponsored by Boost Mobile. We are sponsored by Snow Allegra. Yeah. And snow legra.
Starting point is 00:01:38 This is a snow pocket. This is a snow stand pocket. Oh, man. It's snowing. She is back. She's back. She's bike. She's back.
Starting point is 00:01:45 The winter's coming. The winter is on the way. Winter's coming. Oh, God. I'm so happy. I am too. I'm like genuinely like really happy right now. Me too, man.
Starting point is 00:01:54 She's my Jay Electronica. Snow? Yeah. Snow Legger. I love snow, man. What? The connection? Everyone accuses Jay and not like putting out enough music.
Starting point is 00:02:04 Like the legend of Jake. To me, it's the legend of snow. Like, nobody accuses Jay of not putting out music. Jay doesn't put out music. Nobody accuses him of not putting out music. That's a critique that he has. Yes. And I mean, Snow one was what, 2021?
Starting point is 00:02:21 2020. 2020. That was the last album? Temporary highs and the violent skies. Yeah. Oh, Snow, if you're listening, I know you're not. But just in case. But just in case.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Yeah. If this clip gets to you, we thank you. we thank you so much for this. This feels like snow is one of those artists that just, you know, the fall time. Yeah. It feels right. It feels like we're supposed to have that energy, that tone, that texture of a voice. It just feels like, you know, fall is here.
Starting point is 00:02:55 It has arrived whenever we can hear some new Snow Leger music. Five years. I'm fine with that. I'm not one of those fans. I'm fine. If she needed five years. Now, let her cook. I need five years.
Starting point is 00:03:06 What happened in five years? I don't, because I know you're allowed to say. We don't know what Snow has been doing. That's what I love about Snow. We don't know who she's dating. Of course not. We don't know what she's going through. But one thing's for sure, we're going to hear about it when this project dropped.
Starting point is 00:03:19 She's going to let us know everything. Go live, snow. Go live. Run free? Five years. Go run free for five years. That's the name of the single. But y'all don't see her in the car with the driver being driven the homeless.
Starting point is 00:03:32 I know that vibe. I know that vibe. I know that ride. I know that ride. You just left? You're in the back of that Uber? You're trying to contemplate. Yo,
Starting point is 00:03:39 model, start. When they be in the back of that, Baby, Dee, as a woman, can you talk to us about that Uber ride home? No, I can't. As a woman, though, because we don't know what I'm saying? So as a woman,
Starting point is 00:03:49 you know that Uber ride I'm talking about Baby Dee. Like, what be your like... It's mind you, it's like the third driver that's been called because the first two, we had to cancel.
Starting point is 00:03:58 I was supposed to go home two days ago. Two days, you're supposed to be gone. You're supposed to be gone. You don't watch. your panties out in the sink. Out of close. Hung them out in the shower.
Starting point is 00:04:06 Called out of work. She's wearing his sweats. You just can't see it. Yeah. Like, what is that Uber ride like though? What is that when you just like, I said I wasn't going to do this? I said I wasn't going to fall in love.
Starting point is 00:04:19 I said I wasn't going to like him. I didn't talk so much shit to my girls about him. And here I am, back at an Uber on a crisp fall morning. Yeah. Finally replying to 20 text messages you ignored for two days. phone and on D&D. Yep. Turned your location off so your girls don't see where you at because they know where he
Starting point is 00:04:37 live. She does that to me, you know. You know what she does that to me, right? You thought I ain't know about that move. You thought I ain't know about to turn the low off? Y'all like turning that low off when y' somewhere you ain't supposed to be. Y'all turn that low off quick. Mom, she does that to me.
Starting point is 00:04:50 I'm the friend that wouldn't care. Yeah. But like even when we went out to Joyce's thing, I was just about to check to see where DeMaris was at just so I could time it correctly, whatever, all get there at the same time, location off. Yeah. Where I'm at? I turn mine off sometimes just so they...
Starting point is 00:05:07 Why are you being weird to me? I turn mine off just so that they don't notice it. Because, like, see, if they always got the location and I turn it off, they're like, oh, she would a nigga. But if just randomly I turn it off, I just be like, no, I've been at home. I ain't want to talk to nobody. They don't know. You got to keep them guessing.
Starting point is 00:05:20 You turn your location off when you're at home. Cut this shit. My location is off right now and I'm at work. Oh, yeah. I mean... Like, I just turn my location off every once in a while so that when I do do it, it's not weird. Oh, you one of those? You set your lie up a month in advance.
Starting point is 00:05:35 I set my lies up years in advance. That's, oh, you want to, oh. You want to those type of women? She's one of those type of women that set the lie. Dispies is crazy. Set a fall lie up in summertime. You bad because you do it. That's why you don't like it because you do it.
Starting point is 00:05:52 Yeah, you can't do me to me. Yeah. Don't do me to me. Nah. Don't do me to me. Don't do that. Tiff of tat. Marlbin in Virginia every weekend for three years.
Starting point is 00:06:00 child i ain't going to lie is he wearing a wire let me see open up that collar man he got a wire your peeve throw some water on this guy see if we start boogieing let's see we start boogieing over here yeah man snow snow makes that music that you that you fall in love to or you fall out of love spin and yeah
Starting point is 00:06:21 fall in the wrong love snow leg but don't mind it last time she released an album i was in a i ended up in a covid relationship That was like the theme. I used to be cooking like during COVID to the album. I don't know if we can look this up, Ryan, but can we see what the stock was like
Starting point is 00:06:37 on the Plan B pills during COVID? I just want to see something. Interesting question. I just want to see something. Well, there was a lot of COVID babies. So yeah, I'm sure that it balanced itself. Oh, oh, oh. Yeah, a lot of COVID.
Starting point is 00:06:46 Man. How did y'all make it out of COVID without a baby? You wouldn't have one after. Yeah. Make it out of COVID. I mean, Maul and I never stopped working. Oh, yeah. Oh, that's probably why.
Starting point is 00:06:57 Yeah, we know. The whole world shut down. Me and Moore. Who was that raw dog in the world? He didn't stop. They didn't stop us. A little vaccine, that didn't stop us. It wouldn't stop us at all.
Starting point is 00:07:08 But I would like to know the stock market, how they did on Plan B's. While he's looking at up, who else are y'all looking forward to in the fall? Like, who do y'all think makes that fall music? What is last quarter, period? I could do like a good party next door album. Yeah, anyone really from Toronto. Like, I wouldn't mind a weekend album. Anyone in the North typically makes really good fall music.
Starting point is 00:07:35 Yeah, it's that time of year. They come alive when it starts getting frosty outside. Yeah, but P&D, when was the last time we got like just a solo party? Not some sexy songs for you. It's been a little minute, I feel like. Yeah, it's been like three or four years maybe, right? And a lot of, um... Two years, 2024 party next P&D4.
Starting point is 00:07:55 People may disagree with me on this. I didn't feel like a lot of the sons. songs on sexy songs for you were like party records that Drake just hopped on. Those felt like they were new for that project or Drake had already had them. I actually felt like it was the opposite. Party hopped on a lot of Drake records. I felt like that. So party can't have the excuse like, nah, I mean, that was my album.
Starting point is 00:08:16 But we ended up making it a collab. Yeah. No, party owes us. Yeah, man. I would like a new party album this fall. It was a little P&D. Yeah. I mean, but if Snow,
Starting point is 00:08:28 I don't know, man. Snow may clean up the rest of the year. I may not need another album. Yeah, man. Oh, man. I'm just, everything feels right. Snow is like just a good cup of hot chocolate. The right amount of marshmallow. Because you can't over marshmallow the situation.
Starting point is 00:08:44 No. The right amount of marshmallows. You don't want too many marshmallows in the way of when you sit. Yeah, yeah. And if you let it sit too long with all the marshmallows. Yeah. Just the right amount. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:52 The right amount of marshmallows, man. A little cinnamon on top of that thing. I make a fire hot chocolate. You got to put real chocolate in it, heavy cream, make it on the stove. Heavy cream. When you go heavy cream, baby D, hot heavy cream, somebody going to the bathroom. What you do, eat hot chocolate with water? No, milk.
Starting point is 00:09:16 No. He boiled of milk, though. Not heavy cream. Half milk, half heavy cream. That's too much. It's a lot of dairy. Yeah, like, and it's hot. And it's hot.
Starting point is 00:09:24 It's going down hot. And real chocolate is adding even more dairy. Yeah. Yeah, like, Baby Dee trying to just be in the bathroom so she could be on phone. It's warm and chocolatey. Warm and chocolate, huh, baby, D? I know that's right. Go ahead, baby, Dee.
Starting point is 00:09:37 We might be sponsored by you after this. You need to relax. Warm and chocolatey. Everybody's in such a good mood today. Snow Allegra just released a visualizer for her fucking single. Yes. Our North Star is back. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Snow might be, she might be like the Groundhog. She might be the most beautiful groundhold. To what, to toxic situations are on the horizon? Oh, God. We need it. We need to hear it, Snow.
Starting point is 00:10:08 A legendary love. Do we think Snow has been in love? Do we think we're going to get that type album? Because the single title and the album title definitely contradict themselves. Yeah. But then again, legendary could mean bad. A legendary...
Starting point is 00:10:21 There's been some legendary horrible shit before. Oh, yeah, for sure. There's legendary breakups. There's legendary... Um, you know. Murder. Orses. Murder is crazy.
Starting point is 00:10:33 Legendary murders. There's been legendary murders. It has been legendary. I mean, Netflix can't wait to put them out the movie. Like, she's definitely. It's definitely. Oh, sure that they just tried to kill twice. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:43 There's a seven parter coming out next week. Oh, no. How movie's done? For sure. Somebody said, you know, somebody said Ryan Murphy on the phone with Sarah Polson right now. Yeah. They already got the clip with the cut. It's going to be heard half alive.
Starting point is 00:10:54 They already wrapped in production. It's over. That movie's done. They said she's. She's walking again. Yeah, no, she's good. They've been sending updates like she's a make-a-wish kid. Like, she took her second step today.
Starting point is 00:11:03 I'm like, she was on death row. The fact that this woman was on death row and then they went to life-saving measures. What world do we live in, bro? I brought this up. When do we talk about this two weeks ago? I still have yet to get the EpiPen for my daughter. But this bitch has premium health care. I just don't get it.
Starting point is 00:11:25 Like, if you're sent us in somebody to, death. And whatever you're, however the death, which was, this was lethal injection seems to not work. Why would you then perform life saving? Why not just let her die? Well, because I'm, as you guys, there's mad laws involved in all of that shit. Like, there's mad laws with you, like, they had to take her to the hospital because obviously she wasn't dying. So then she's probably sitting there suffering. They don't know what's going on. Uh, yeah. But that's not the law. You can't sit up there and torture somebody when they were, uh, she did. They were. They were. They were. They were entitled by the law to a quick death, and they did not get that.
Starting point is 00:12:03 They're honestly, they might want to let her out before they got a lawsuit on their hands. That's just paperwork. That's just, they have a lot. She has a crazy lawsuit. Like, they might want to let her out before she filed at. Well, it says incomplete protocol. The state's execution protocol allowed for a second dose if the first failed, but it did not account for a situation when both doses failed to end the inmates.
Starting point is 00:12:21 Yeah, they gave her two doses and both were wrongly injected. Mm. Mm-hmm. Well, glad she's taking her first steps back to death row. Well, listen, hopefully she makes a full recovery so they can get this show on the road again. Now, I want her to let her out. Let her out. That's the last thing that's about to happen.
Starting point is 00:12:41 She's never getting out. That is. That comeback's going to be legendary. Her comeback? She fulfilled her sentence. It's funny, but it might be something in the law that states like they might have to let her go. Yeah. What do you think would be viewed more, like rematch of, like, rematch of,
Starting point is 00:12:57 Mayweather and Pachial or a rematch with her in lethal injection. Oh, man. If they put this on Zeus, this one, Krista Pikes' second dose. Crystal, Chris, the Pikes' second round, round two. Hosted by Jake Paul. Krista Pike, round two available now on Zeus Network. Y'all know Gis Fee Rose, new husband dad. I saw that.
Starting point is 00:13:23 What's going on? Like, what's up with Gypsy? You know. Like, first of all, who keeps, who keeps dating her? You're dating somebody if they got like, I just don't, I don't know, man. Again, we're living in a simulation. All of this is a simulation.
Starting point is 00:13:40 Listen, man. All I say is Gypsy has been the common denominator and a lot of shit. That's all I'm saying. That's all, I'm not saying anything else besides that. I'm not putting no murders on her. Just saying. I'm just saying she's been around for a lot of things. She's been in the room and things happened.
Starting point is 00:13:55 she's been associated with too many things happening and I just think that we should take that information and do something with it. It just appears like everyone that is close to her as an untimely death. Just for some reason. Some reason. Just their time.
Starting point is 00:14:08 Well, I mean, to be fair, to be fair. You see Gypsy come and run. Stop. I feel bad. It says they found no evidence of foul play. Of course not. Gypsy's a vet. You know what she's doing.
Starting point is 00:14:19 I think her husband really did just die. I think her husband really did just die, but that's terrible. Oh, for sure. No, he really did just die, baby, Dee. Yeah. We just want to know how he died. No, I mean, like, you know, I think he was doing drugs.
Starting point is 00:14:32 I think it was like a drug over-dodo. Drug over-dose or something. They found, like, drug paraphernalia in Arizona range. Brown powdery substance. Brown-powdery substance. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Ryan Murphy.
Starting point is 00:14:43 A holstered handgun. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah. And two shot glasses were on the nightstand next to the bed. I've seen this movie. Y'all seen this movie before. Two sets of footprints in the sand.
Starting point is 00:14:57 Y'all know when the investigated coming in the room, he looked right at the nightstand and put the whole play together. There was somebody else here. No shit. It's too fucking shot glass. And you know what? I always make sure to holster my pistol before I snort heroin. Yeah, come on, man.
Starting point is 00:15:13 Well, maybe it was already holstered. You just take the whole holster off your pan. Walk into the table to do heroin and having a pistol. Just in case. Yeah. Just in case. Unsnapped. Just in case things go left.
Starting point is 00:15:24 Hey, man. Well, I mean, I don't know, man. Gypsy Rose might just be, you know, just unlucky to have. This is husband number two that died? I guess. Yeah. Because I think... Plus the mom.
Starting point is 00:15:35 Yeah. Well, no, and then her other boyfriend, he's doing life, right? Or he killed himself in jail too. No, one of them is alive. Well, what are doing life for sure? He made it out. For the murder of the mom that she got off on. But her boyfriend was the one that went in there with a knife.
Starting point is 00:15:51 But wasn't her mom doing, like, horrible shit to her? Oh, no. Her mother was not. a good person whatsoever. No. But she definitely manipulated her mentally ill boyfriend to go kill her mother. But no, her mom was a scammer. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:16:05 Gypsy had it rough, but she definitely learned some shit from her mom. Her mother was a crazy scammer. Like, Gypsy could walk. She's walking right now. She was in a wheelchair for like 15 years just so they could get like beneficial checks from the government. No, I think her mom was, she had like, um, Munchausen by proxy. She was like, she shaved her head to make it look like she had cancer.
Starting point is 00:16:28 She didn't lose her hair. Her mother shaved her head and put the, the chemo cap on her. And did telethons. Like, no, her mother was sick. Yeah. But God bless. God bless all these people that's dying, man. My mother, her Aunt Peggy died.
Starting point is 00:16:44 Like, it's a lot going on right now. Aunt Peggy? Rest of peace, Aunt Peggy. How old was Aunt Peggy? I don't know. Too soon. Too soon. Too soon.
Starting point is 00:16:52 People would be like in the 80s, 90s. Too soon. Too soon. too soon. Rest of peace, Aunt Peggy. Also while we're here, rest of peace to the legendary iconic R&B legend,
Starting point is 00:17:03 Harlem legend, Mr. Freddie Jackson. Yeah. Mr. Freddie Jackson passed away earlier this week. Yeah, man. It's another R&B icon, Rory, that unfortunately had to leave us,
Starting point is 00:17:17 but great music. Yeah. Great contribution to R&B, one of the greatest voices in R&B history. prayers and condolences to the Jackson family and yeah man yeah mr. Freddie Jackson rest in peace for sure
Starting point is 00:17:31 did you go out with Ryan to Coney Islands to go try to buy some MTA signs do a little local news first no Ryan Ryan FaceTime me at like 9 this morning and I was half sleep I was oh shit was Ryan went and I was oh he's probably at the spot yeah and he facetime him looking at pieces
Starting point is 00:17:49 he's like you know everything is pretty much gone or the line was crazy. Yeah. For those that don't know in a junkyard in Coney Island, they're getting rid of like old subway MTA signs. I think they were even selling a bus. They had subway seats. They had the MTA
Starting point is 00:18:05 machines, like all cool collectible shit. But Ryan was saying that's, you know, if the MTA's not scamming us enough, congestion pricing is supposed to go. Now you're flipping old shit for two grand. Five grand. I get it though. It's part of the city. It's part of the history. It's the fiber. It's the fiber of
Starting point is 00:18:21 the city. So we can all take a little piece of fiber home. I would know. I would love to. I think that's great. I'm not paying five grand for something I could take with a wrench right now
Starting point is 00:18:29 off the fucking platform. Yeah, I feel you. That's a little, that's insane. And what is the money going to? Like, did they have like charity? Same place. The congestion pricing.
Starting point is 00:18:38 She does. Oh. Well, I took the train from Hell's Kitchen to here to Brooklyn back to here this morning and every train I was on delayed. The A, the D, the four, the L. Congestion.
Starting point is 00:18:50 Everything was delayed and y'all selling signs for five grand. Yeah, I did. If they would have had that four train, the Bronx, uptown the Bronx and Queens, I didn't want to have one that said, what was it, Columbus Circle? I was like, I'm from uptown. I don't want that. So that's, that's a big MTA spot, though.
Starting point is 00:19:09 All the train stops in Columbus Circle. Yeah, but I'm from uptown. That's okay. We got space in here. It would have been for the office. It would have been, you know, put on the, we got brick walls in here. Well, yeah, that's why I wanted to go for all that. And I mean, listen, Trump just confirmed that Columbus Day is still happening.
Starting point is 00:19:22 So I thought maybe you would have been into the Columbus circle for Columbus. Yeah, something like that. Really into history. Yeah. Come on, man. I'm a history buff. You know that. Buff, history buff.
Starting point is 00:19:34 Please. I'm a history buff. You know that. Come on, man. Nobody knows history more than me. Yeah. I definitely want to conquer his name up here. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:40 I did want some of that memorabilia, though. I did. Same. It looks really cool. But, Ryan, thank you for going out there early in the morning. They had a rainbow stop sign? That guy, he, like, bedazzled the bunch of shit with, like, Oh, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:19:56 Is that the guy that had the Coca-Cola sign? Yeah. Oh, okay. I also had the Rainbow show. Oh, yeah. I saw the Coca-Cola sign. Ryan had, like, turned the camera around on FaceTime. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:20:05 And it was a cool Coca-Cola sign. What did he want? How much five grand? Five grand. I was like, Ryan, go home. Ryan, you got to go home. Like, I don't know what they... It's an American brand.
Starting point is 00:20:15 I get it, but... Five grand for Coca-Gon? I don't know what they're going out there, not in the morning and hustler like that, but just go home, Ryan. but thank you for going out there so early, man. I appreciate that. Before we get off local news, this is a basketball town.
Starting point is 00:20:26 I don't even care about the Yankees. Like, whatever. I didn't want to win. You didn't want to win? It's a basketball town, though. I'm focused on next week, first game of the season. We kind of felt like the Yankees were going to get swept.
Starting point is 00:20:41 Well, no, y'all said they were going to win game three. I said, not are they getting swept, bro. We thought they were going to win game three just to lose the series, just to fuck with this. Which possibly could have happened. if that fan didn't fucking reach over. But, you know, whatever. Sweep, sweet, baby.
Starting point is 00:20:56 Wow. You're a New Yorker. Sorry. Does Syracuse even have baseball? Like, up there today? Yes, we do. Okay. You're saying like the sport in general?
Starting point is 00:21:06 Yeah, yeah. Like, they even play baseball in Syracuse? I'm sure they do. Yes. We do. We have a Syracuse baseball team. I don't know. I know.
Starting point is 00:21:14 We have the Mets with the Syracuse Mets. The Syracuse Mets. Yeah. They're, you know, minor league. is that AAA? Which one is that? Yes. I think it's the AAA minor. You ever been in the Staten Island Yankee Stadium? Yeah. It's actually nice.
Starting point is 00:21:32 Got a nice view and shit. You ever been in the Norwich Navigators? Never been there. I've never been that deep in the trenches. I've never been that deep in the baseball trenches. I've never been that deep in the baseball trenches. I'm not going to see the Norwich. What is it, Norwich? Norwich Navigators.
Starting point is 00:21:48 I've never seen the Norwich Navigators. I went with my dad when I was really. really young. Who do they play for? I think they're tied to the, it's in Connecticut. I'm not sure which major league team they're connected to. It would have to either be the Red Sox of the Yankees. Oh. It's in Connecticut.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Yeah, Norwich Connecticut. Yeah. That's cool. Double A minor. Then they move to Norwich from Albany and played as a Yankee affiliate. Okay. Yeah. Go to images. They had like a, it was like an alligator with a telescope. I probably have like the t-shirt somewhere. The Norwich Alligators.
Starting point is 00:22:19 Navigators. Navigators. You know alligators? I saw alligators. I'm just thinking... You know alligators navigate really well. Yeah, of course they do. Come on, man. You've seen the swamps. That was fond memories. Boost Mobile was proven that you don't have to overpay for great wireless. Unlock the savings with $25 a month forever unlimited plan. They are back. I thought they said that Soul Train Awards was canceled. That's what I thought too. I thought we did like a rest of in peace eulogy for the Voltran Wars. They weren't they?
Starting point is 00:25:58 You're not bugging. They definitely announced something. They had a three-year hiatus. They returned November 27th. But yeah, they had a three-year hiatus. Snowback, so they want to come back. Anthony Anderson is hosting and it's going to be in Chicago. I love Anthony Anderson, but that's so random.
Starting point is 00:26:13 Anthony Anderson is hosting and it's in Chicago. I don't think that's random. Why would that be random? I've never, he's hilarious. I've just never seen him host anything. I think he may have hosted Soul Train. before. Really? Yeah, like Anthony Anderson. I love Anthony Anderson. Yeah. Just wouldn't be
Starting point is 00:26:27 my first. I think he's actually, thinking maybe more Steve Harvey. I think he may have actually hosted Soul TV. He's hosted the Emmys. He's hosted the BETE Awards. He's hosted the NDAQP Image Awards. I take everything I say back. I apologize. I don't even remember him doing the BET Awards in
Starting point is 00:26:43 15 or 16. Okay. Well, he's great. Hosting Emmys is big. Huge. Yeah. Do we want to go through some of this? Well, instead for the first time, they're letting the fans decide the SoulTrain Award for Best R&B slash Soul Song of the Year. And I'm going to read the nominees to you and you tell me what's wrong with the nominee with some of the nominees. For Best R&B Soul Song of the Year, Kaylani folded.
Starting point is 00:27:08 Olivia Dean, Man I Need, Brent Fias, Butterflies, Chris Brown and Bryce and Taylor, It Depends. Marieta scientists featuring Kali Uchis, Is It a Crime, Justin Bieber, Wisconsin. Stop. Justin Bieber can't be nominated for Soul Song. Justin Bieber Yukon. Have you heard you con? Yeah, but he, come on man.
Starting point is 00:27:28 You seen Justin? Some of soul full record on this list. Yeah, but look at the, look at the Meloneman. Tim's, what you need, Bruno Mars, I just might, Tyler,
Starting point is 00:27:36 Chanel and Daniel Caesar, who knows. What's wrong with this list, Maul? Going to you. Justin Bieber is a white man. Um,
Starting point is 00:27:49 I feel like it's a song missing though. You don't think white soul exists? Yeah, white soul. Yeah, but that ain't it. but this ain't this ain't white soul train. This is soul train. This is palm,
Starting point is 00:28:00 I'm not going to get an argument. I mean, bees would be the only one that I think is properly crossed over. No, for sure. I'm just talking to shit. I don't know. Tyler's a pop act?
Starting point is 00:28:11 The majority of these are pop acts. The majority of these are fuck pop acts. I don't care what type of music you usually make. I'm talking about the song that's nominated. Man I Need is one of the biggest pop songs of the past couple years. It depends. It depends.
Starting point is 00:28:24 It's a huge pop. song. It depends a pop song. Bruno Mars, I just might. I just might is a pop song. Chanel is a pop song. The only soul songs I'm seeing on here is like folded in
Starting point is 00:28:37 what you need. Even is it a crime, I guess, could be looked at as... Who knows is a soul song? Oh, yeah, that one too. For sure. And I'm not... I know we were just joking around. Yukon is a soulful record. It is. It's not to me. Yukon's not like, man
Starting point is 00:28:53 I need. I would say that's R&B, soul way before man I need is. Or it depends. That's a pop record. Yeah, it's a lot of pop records. I think Yukon actually falls in that category, though. But I think that they might be doing this like this, Baby D, because hopefully, well, they're probably hoping that some of these artists show up to the Social Union Awards.
Starting point is 00:29:14 I would be a nominee. But that sucks. I can promise you that Bruno Mars won't be there. No, yeah, I probably promise you that. He just might. But, I mean, he might. aren't you funny he might because that's his bop the soul train that's his him and Anderson pop might have a set like yeah that's his bob so Mars will not be at the
Starting point is 00:29:35 Soul Train Awards he might be he won't be you would have never thought Bruno Mars will be on a song with sexy right either but Bruno does think that fuck I did Bruno's on the song with everybody he can make any song any genre he's proven that after he did an EP with Cardi no it didn't shock me that he moved on to sex right he did not do an EP with Cardi yeah I I mean, Ilani Folded might win, though. Kalani Folded should win.
Starting point is 00:30:01 If you're going to do song of the year, you gotta, you kind of got to give it to that. I ain't a lot of Brett Fire's butterflies, though. Love that record. Still a super underrated album to begin. Yeah, I love that. Brent's album is like, why people, we need to talk about that Brent album that he dropped. That was this year, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:18 Yeah. We talked about it. No, we definitely talked about it. I really, really like that album. I like what Brent has been doing. I like the way he's he's curating his, you know, his career, his albums, his aesthetically, everything he's doing. Like, I like Brent. I like what he's doing.
Starting point is 00:30:37 But Brent, even, like, I feel like the second half of his career, he may not have the timeline or have the media. He quietly does great numbers every time. Oh, for sure. Like, that's why I like what he's doing. Even if it's a quiet release like icon, no, I didn't see everyone talk about icon, but icon sold double of what Wasteland did the first week. It did great. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:01 So I don't think that people not talking about it really means much for how great I personally think that album is. But Butterflies, that's a contender in my opinion. Yeah, definitely. Chris Brown and Bryson record was big too, though. If that wins overfold it, it's going to really piss me off. I can't see any of these songs winning over Folded. Folded checks every box for the Soul Train Awards.
Starting point is 00:31:25 No, y'all going to really be mad if Man I Need wins. That's when you're going to- I'm going to fly off the handle. Because if that's the case, it's going to start going crazy. It should have did. If they were going to do Olivia Dean, why didn't they use?
Starting point is 00:31:36 What's the other Olivia Dean one that was huge? Not Man I Need. It was the, um, Back on your sofa. Of course I still can. I don't even. I don't know. You're on terrible with.
Starting point is 00:31:49 song titles, but that is, I like that record, though. Yeah. What is the name of it? Hold on. I feel like you can't go to any fucking, like, juice bar and not hear that song. But you can't go to a couple minutes. Yeah, a couple minutes. A couple minutes.
Starting point is 00:32:03 If they were going to nominate. That's flatten them in the smoothie spots. Yeah, but that's sold to me. Airwam? Airwam playing the shit out of that song. That's what I'm playing Erarine every 12 minutes. For sure. And man, I need play every five minutes in Zahara for sure.
Starting point is 00:32:16 Absolutely. You should get extra money on. spends in Airwant because the prices are so inflated in there. My song plays in there, I want double the money too. Everything should be more expensive. Yeah, that's like having your song playing Urban Outfitters. That can't be the same as a stream. Yeah, that got to count for something.
Starting point is 00:32:30 We got to get a little bit more like, Airwant. Come on platinum and Airwant. You can't go to no Airwine and I hit my shit. That's when you go to those stores. That's where I hit, like, music I never really heard. I definitely have heard in, like, stores like that. And Shazam did it.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Like, yo, who is this? Yeah. Yeah. 100%. Yeah. Not Olivia Dean. Obviously, I know that record, but. Music Discovery has now been moved to overpriced fruits and vegetables.
Starting point is 00:32:56 For sure. Like, that's the best place for music discovery is when you're being fucked by the- Because I'm waiting here and waiting for my smoothie. He's like, who is this? Yeah. Just watching my account go down by the aisle. Yeah. Well, I hope that the Soul Train Awards does well.
Starting point is 00:33:12 But if they want to have any type of integrity, you can't have a, the Soul Trade Awards, the top award at your thing can't be full of pop records. That's insane. Yeah, Tim's when you're going to be mad? No, that's my favorite song on the list. That's my, and I think it's probably, if you're going to do best, it's probably the best song on there, but Folded deserves to win.
Starting point is 00:33:35 No, Folded is probably the best song on there. Folded is an amazing song. What you need is an amazing song, though. Hell of you. It's an amazing song. So, do we know the date? When is this happening? It's happening November 27th. Okay.
Starting point is 00:33:48 On a Friday, which is funny because they usually happen on Sundays. Is that like the day after Thanksgiving? I think so. Well, that makes sense. Yeah, families all together, yeah. Actually, I actually don't mind that date. Friday, everyone's home.
Starting point is 00:34:00 They should have aired it on Thanksgiving. Obviously, they shoot it before Thanksgiving. To compete with football? Fuck. Hell no. Who do we think we're going on? We don't really care about football, do? Was it last?
Starting point is 00:34:10 No, that was Christmas Beyonce performed. But no, they usually do like a big halftime performance for Thanksgiving, too. But you know. Remember Jack Carlin came out of? out the igloo with his man's. That was for Thanksgiving in Detroit? I do remember that. That was Detroit, right?
Starting point is 00:34:24 He was Detroit. Well, he said, wasn't it like Leangelo Ball? Yeah, Leangelo Ball was like All-Star weekend or something like that. Oh, no, Landrystal did do Thanksgiving. He did Thanksgiving where, M-EA? Well, you got to think that he's very family-oriented. Like, it matches. All, hold on.
Starting point is 00:34:41 Leangelo Ball performed at halftime. No, he did the pregame. For the NFL? Yeah. In Detroit. They was trying to push that shit, wasn't they? I might swear, been that going on, oh, whoa. Didn't jazz produce that?
Starting point is 00:34:56 Well, Jasmine was his tour manager. Yeah. They had Landryantle at the playoffs. I understand why people don't like me. I get it. I get it. Finally. No, I understand it.
Starting point is 00:35:10 Okay. But if y'all know me in real life, y'all know I'm a likable person. Like, I'm not a rude, like, I'm a nice guy. You're not a rude person. I'm a nice guy. But it's a serious shit I just can't hold back. That's like, what are we doing? That song was not...
Starting point is 00:35:22 Y'all tried to gas that song. That song was not dope. You just don't like that. It's okay. You know we can just have a difference of opinion. We're not gassing. Y'all not going to say that song is dope. That's not a dope record.
Starting point is 00:35:32 And I'm so mad I didn't we talk to juvenile about that record when he was here. I know he would have some disparaging things to say about that song. Well, it didn't have any staying power. If it was at the height of that record, that would have been a great question. I think Juvie probably forgot about that record. No, he didn't. Everyone forgot about it. He's probably been working on that record.
Starting point is 00:35:49 I didn't have any record. I like that. I like the song, but it didn't have much thing. He probably getting royalties from that record. I would hope so, but I highly done it. I'm going to out down this hill. That's an AI record. I'm not going to argue with you on that.
Starting point is 00:35:59 Leangelo Ball did not write that record. I'm not going to argue with you. He did not write that record. No, AI didn't write. I might swear have been that quote on, whoa, whoa. What? Bitch hold on tight because I get in this bitch start letting shit, because I start tweaking this bitch.
Starting point is 00:36:12 She sounds like a legitimate AI bar. That does not sound like that, no. That's an AI record, man. I'm smarter than that, like That's below AI But that's what I'm saying AI is not going to write Hold on tight
Starting point is 00:36:25 Bitch I'll tweak in this shit Start letting shit go AI is not gonna write like that What's the um That record we all love this summer That was clearly AI And the guy went on a tour The Phoenix record
Starting point is 00:36:34 That has more complicated lyrics Than fucking The Lee Angela Baldwin But that's my point That's my But that's my point Can you put the lyrics To this record, Ryan?
Starting point is 00:36:44 This Phoenix Flexing record I just want to see something Was it this? Why, hello there. Well, hello there. Greetings, greetings, greetings, greetings. Swiping cards and stacking chips. I saw you sinking ships.
Starting point is 00:36:55 Left me standing in the pouring rain that I bought a heavy diamond chain. That sounds like that. Bing, blah, blah. My pocket's getting thicker. The watch is moving quicker. Whoa. Money talks is much louder now. It's land of law.
Starting point is 00:37:06 But I can't sleep through the night. Can't sleep through the night. Still seeing your face in the glass. Why do you call me? Why do you call when you're short on cash? You think that G. But that sounds like AI. That literally sounds like AI.
Starting point is 00:37:18 That sounds like something AI will write. Can you pull up the Leangelo ball record now? Watch this. Watch this, baby, Dee. Watch how fast. Watch how fast you agree. Watch how fast. All right.
Starting point is 00:37:32 I might swerve been that corner. Whoa. Bitch, hold on tight because I tweaking this bitch start letting shit go. And I heard that she won a show. Me who she'd be. I'm kind of fucking with it. Show me some more. Bitch, we tatted head to toe.
Starting point is 00:37:44 Could give a fuck the story wrote. You want to. tweak it up with me that I'm going to show you how to that goes. It's not sound like AI. I'm sorry. Like the money in my pockets blow. They having convos about me. These pussy niggas don't. AI did not write that. AI is so, that other one
Starting point is 00:37:58 sounds like some shit where you're like, AI, write me a rap song. That's what that other one sounds like. This does not sound like AI. Shit. That does not sound like AI. All right. AI did not say left him in that shit water. That's not AI.
Starting point is 00:38:15 I'm not saying, Jello wrote it, but that's not AI. Write me a song about tweaking. Oh, whatever. Write me a song about me tweaking and letting shit go. If that's the case, that y would think all the songs that these young kids right nowadays sound like AI.
Starting point is 00:38:32 You think he was kicking it with his Memphis twin? He was definitely kicking it with his... See, a nigga acting bother. Got my green light, the red, Doddum. If you spot me home, sorry, I can't take you getting gnawley. AI didn't write that. No, Jello definitely lives that life. We're not going to talk about rappers
Starting point is 00:38:48 I live in a life they rap about because we would have no one on our playlist. I know. I'm aware. Just saying. But yeah, Ma, I don't think that people dislike you because you say the things
Starting point is 00:38:57 that other people won't say. I think people dislike you because you don't understand that other people have a different opinion of yours. So you think when other people have a different opinion, you think that they're lying. I think it sucks. Okay.
Starting point is 00:39:08 Your opinion sucks. I think your taste level was terrible. I think your palate is terrible. They say that? Yeah, sometimes that's, that doesn't mean I'm a, terrible person. You know people who has terrible taste, right?
Starting point is 00:39:21 Right, we can agree? Of course, but you can also have the palette of fucking Rios and Carbon, but sometimes you just want a fucking Big Mac. Sure, but then if I say that Big Mac is terrible, that's a terrible burger. You can't say it like, no, the special sauce is incredible. But am I enjoying it? Yes. That's what we're saying.
Starting point is 00:39:44 Anyone can say a Big Mac is terrible. There's burgers that are better. I'm enjoying this Big Mac, right? I'm not enjoying a Big Mac burger, bro. Sometimes when you're drunk and it's 3 a.m. A Big Mac. Listen, White Castle hits different.
Starting point is 00:39:55 You enjoy anything when you're drunk. Okay, just like that song. You enjoy Baddies. You actively sit up there and enjoy Baddies. Batty's is by definition. Terrible fucking food. Hey, I don't enjoy Baddies. It's a lifestyle.
Starting point is 00:40:11 Right? You don't enjoy a lifestyle. You just are a lifestyle. You just become it. Okay. Big Baller brand. That's a lifestyle. You still didn't get your sneakers.
Starting point is 00:40:20 They talking about, they talking about they calling for the cancellation of baddies because of their lifestyles promoting left somebody dead. Yeah, I heard about this. Somebody, a security guard was killed at a baddagement in San Francisco. Suspect Shakia Vanderbilt 32 has been charged with the murder. Do we have a picture of her? Was she a girl on the show or was she just there? She was one of the fans there.
Starting point is 00:40:45 I love how this news outlet spelt it, M-U-R-D-A with charge with murder. So she was just one of the, was she trying to be on the show? I don't, they haven't been at the, at the- I think maybe they're shooting, I haven't been keeping up. I think they're shooting Baddy San Francisco right now. So this is episodes that haven't aired yet, and this was in the middle of shooting that. Okay, so she was, was she on the show? I believe so, yes.
Starting point is 00:41:12 She was being escorted out of what was maybe a high-toned situation. in a baddies filming is what it appears at this point. And RIP to that gentleman, because two of his kids and his wife were there when that happened. What is his name? Ulysses. Ulysses. Ulysses, Ulysses, Ulysses, Tykee Davis.
Starting point is 00:41:32 Rest and peace to Ulysses, Tykee Davis, prayers to his family. That's terrible. But I, so she was on. We don't know. They didn't, they didn't release that information. No. No. They could have been a fan.
Starting point is 00:41:45 She could have been anything. Well, I mean, what they said was he was a security guard and it was a high tense situation in the baddies filming. So they were take, but security takes those women after they fight. No, she probably was on the show. That's what I'm saying. But I don't. He can't be a fan and got that and got a gun in the building. No way.
Starting point is 00:42:02 But no. In San Francisco. I can see a girl that's on the show getting a gun. But I also don't think it was a closed event because he didn't work. He's not baddy's security. He's security for the venue. Okay, but even like. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:42:12 Yeah, but they're like they could have just, like for example, when they do club appearances or things like that. They're not the only people in the building. They did the showcase in Times Square. You could buy tickets to it. But they filmed an episode. That was a whole episode of them performing. So, yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:30 But who knows? Either way somebody passed, doesn't matter if she was on the show or not. But she is in custody and she's in charge with the murder. Yeah. In San Francisco? No. Yeah, I mean, what does this mean for baddies though?
Starting point is 00:42:43 They might be, Zeus might be in some trouble behind this one. They need to be shut the fuck down. They need to be shut down. They need to shut baddies down. They had their fun. I think it's Randis course. As someone that enjoyed the season, it's
Starting point is 00:42:56 it's Randis course. This is the final now. Like they can't keep doing this shit. Look what it's promoting. Look when you create that type of environment on purpose. On purpose, you're creating that that type of environment. Come on. The people you attract to the show, all of that.
Starting point is 00:43:11 Everybody ain't playing crazy for views. Some motherfuckers are really crazy. And you shouldn't be exploiting those people and putting other people in danger at the same time. Last episode I watched, Tommy was taking two girls to Paris to bring the baddies brand international. I can't see that happening now. If this happened in San Francisco,
Starting point is 00:43:29 I don't think Paris or Milan is really going to get down this way. I think it might really be over for baddies. Well, they had to run if it's over. But yeah, something like this happening is you've got to either look at everything that's going on and security measures and the people that y'all letting into these events or run the risk of getting completely shut down. I don't see Zeus. Zeus network might be like, all right, we got to. Or they'll just do like what True TV does with impractal jokers.
Starting point is 00:44:00 It'll just be Jocelyn's channel. Whatever Jocelyn wants to do. Yeah. It'll just be seven different Jocelyn shows. But I mean, they did put Zeus does have a lot of like investor backing. Like that's not some jump network. Even though, not at all. Even though they have some insane type shows. That's not, like, they're pretty high in ratings. They bring in a lot of fucking money. Yeah. Oh, yeah, for sure. Um, so I am curious what, what that does to Zeus outside of just the baddie situation. But unfortunately, too, they all have insurance for shit like this. Exactly. This is, when these types of things happen, just from what I've seen outside looking in, it just becomes a blame game of who's going to sue the other person faster. So they don't have to
Starting point is 00:44:42 take accountability for it. Yeah. Zeus will put it on. venue didn't have good enough security. Venue allowed them to do that. Venue will sue the third party security company. Security company will sue the vent. Like, it'll just do this for 10 years just so Zeus can buy time to get the public perception away from them and move on. Yeah, that's tragic, though. Oh, for sure.
Starting point is 00:45:02 For security guard to lose his life like that. And then his family being in it, that's terrible. We could say music, though. I know we got off track there. Jay calls the fall off and Don Tyler were octa. are currently the favorites on Polly Market to earn Best Rap Album nominations at the Grammys.
Starting point is 00:45:21 Who y'all bet now? Who is it? Jay Coles the full off and Don Todd was Octane? Um, I think the I'm not saying like the industry is now finally like waking up on Dom but I think
Starting point is 00:45:38 they're catching up and they are going to crown him the next one by I think he's going to clean up with the Gramies. Okay. I think Don, they need a new golden child. And I think this is going to be Don's year because also it's rightfully so
Starting point is 00:45:55 of the year that he's had and the music he's put out. I do see him cleaning up because there isn't really a clear superstar for the younger kids. And I think the Grammys can help with that perception if he cleans up. Okay. And I want to make it very clear. I think he's very deserved. If he cleans up, he's very
Starting point is 00:46:12 deserving of that. But I do think hip hop is in need of that poster child of the new age. And I think if Don is there with four Grammys and he has that photo, that does help with that perception. Okay. I mean, away from that, he deserves it. Octane is definitely fucking best album of the year. One of the best albums of the year for sure. Um, I mean, obviously Iceman is right there, but I don't think Drake is submitting. No, it appears that he's, he's not. Yeah. So, I mean, with Iceman, not, Iceman is the album of the year to me. I mean, to a lot of people. I mean,
Starting point is 00:46:48 But you think Iceman was bigger than Octane this year? Yeah. I'm not talking about sales-wise. I'm talking about impact-wise. Yes. Okay. Yes. But I think you could argue either side, to be honest.
Starting point is 00:47:01 No, of course you can. You can always argue either side. With Ice Man was, you couldn't compare to it. But I feel like the, how long octane has been relevant is crazy. I think it competes in that sense. Obviously, yeah. And it's totally. You can argue for both sides.
Starting point is 00:47:18 The tour incredible. So we know I said the top of the year, maybe back in March. I was like, Don Tov's album is fucking incredible. But yeah, I think he should win an album of the year for sure. Yeah. I can see E85 cleaning up too for record of the year's song, best melodic performance, etc. But I am curious what the nominations end up with rap album. Obviously, Cole should be there.
Starting point is 00:47:46 I know Wale was submitting, definitely well deserved. I did see they had one prediction list already for rap album of the year, but I do think it'll go to Don. I think Octane might win. It might be tough to give him an album of the year. I think best rap album. I don't think he's getting album in an year. Who are the album of the year nominees? There's no nominees yet.
Starting point is 00:48:08 This is all, everyone's just submitting. Oh, the submitting. This is like four-year consideration time. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah, so there's still some time. They're still doing, you know, Grammy board and politic thing now. But they've just been putting predictions out. But I don't know.
Starting point is 00:48:25 I mean, I can also see the fall off getting it. I just think this is going to be Don's year. Some of the predictions, Kanye bully, I doubt it. I'm not saying it's a bad album. I just, yay, and politics is crazy. A.Sap, Rocky, don't be dumb. Should definitely be nominated, my opinion. Keem Casino.
Starting point is 00:48:45 Isaiah Rashad. It's been awful. Vince Staples Crybaby. I say for sure ASAP, Keem, Cole, and Don will be there. I think Wally deserves to be there. But that's my predictions
Starting point is 00:48:59 of who I think the Gramies will accept. Wally definitely deserves a nomination for Best Rap album. Yeah. No, absolutely. I feel like it's somebody else, too, that we might be missing. Somebody else that dropped.
Starting point is 00:49:13 But yeah, I mean, just happy that, you know, Don is being talked like this. You know, they're talking about him. And obviously, he's probably one of the three favorites to win album of the year. Yeah. Yeah, I'm happy for Don, man. I'm happy for Don. To me, Don doesn't, his discography is incredible. I don't think he has a whack album.
Starting point is 00:49:37 I don't think he has a bad album. Yeah, man, I'm just, I'm happy for Don. He deserves it. Also on the prediction side, who will headline Coachella for 2027? What's that? Usually in April. But they announced towards the end of the year. They have Drake at 41%, Daph Punk at 8%, Kanye at 5 and Kendrick at 2.
Starting point is 00:50:01 I could see Drake headline in Coachella. He's never headlined Coachella, right? I don't think so. He has? I think he's performed it early, but I don't know if he's- If he's headlined, it was years. Oh yeah, no. Remember he rapsed about seeing the boys at Coachella or whatever that he's wrapped about a thousand times? I think this would be a good year for Drake to do Coachella though. I could see it.
Starting point is 00:50:27 I did see people saying Siza as well was pretty high on the prediction list. I mean, she keeps great. Yeah, and I think she's been teasing so many photos of her in the studio. I do think new music is coming and Siza's always been really good at timing. moments and performances with new music. So I could see her putting out a project right before Coachella or like at the top of next year and just riding that to the Coachella headline. I could definitely see Sizzar there.
Starting point is 00:50:58 I don't think we're getting new Sizzar until 20, 28. Yeah? Yeah. 28? 28. I don't know. Why not next year? Well, Sizzer don't be putting out like that.
Starting point is 00:51:11 What was the difference between? What was the distance between control and SOS? Like five, six years maybe. So even if we cut that down to three. But then I don't know. The Lonna, the deluxe was a whole new album. And that came relatively quick after us. About a year, right?
Starting point is 00:51:31 Which is my point. And that's probably why we won't be getting new music for it. If she didn't release Lana, then I'd say 27. Yeah. But a lot of Lanna was just stuff from the SOS like vault that wouldn't make sense in 2026, 27, 28. And maybe I'm just hoping that we get it in 27.
Starting point is 00:51:48 I think we all are. She would be great for that. But having Daft Punk, did they have like an anniversary coming up or something? But either way, Daft Punk and Coachella, it would be worth the price of admission. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:01 That's worth taking some drugs you don't usually take and go into the desert. Yeah, Chella might be all right, man. Next year. If they do Daft Punk and Drake, you got to take ecstasy, Molly. Like don't get none of that new shit, bro, go get you some classic Long Island
Starting point is 00:52:19 Expressway ecstasy. You're like, that's what you need for Daft Punk. But that would be a great weekend if it was Drake and Daft Punk. And the amount of people I think Daft Punk would just bring out would be insane. You might even get Kanye if, well, I don't know, is Daft Punk Jewish? I don't know. I don't know the real identities. I don't know the real identities. You can almost, you can probably take a good guess. Take a guesstimation of what they are. Oh, one of the members is Jewish. Oh, no Kanye.
Starting point is 00:52:52 Never mind. Never mind. No faster, stronger, harder for you. Won't be needing you there. Bruno has never had lying Coachella. Okay. I'm shocked he's not in the higher percentage then. Yeah, Bruno has never had lying.
Starting point is 00:53:08 And that's not far from Vegas where he owes his life. Like, that's a quick drive from Coachella to Vegas. That is such a bad. He could take the money from Coachella and drive it back to Vegas. Yeah. He's never. Oh, they said Taylor Swift's never done it, but she doesn't do anything. Rihanna's never headline that she's not going to.
Starting point is 00:53:26 Adele hasn't, but that's not really her crowd. I think if, uh, O'Dell, O'Dell, I don't even know what I'm speaking about. O'Dell and Adele could do, they could do Coachella together. The Dells. Yeah, the Dells. Delphonic. Adele is like if she if she gives us like her uptempo album
Starting point is 00:53:50 which I feel like she owes us like a little more uptempo than rolling in the deep but giving us like 10 rolling in the deeps I think she could do a really cool Coachella set. Adelle? Yeah. You seen Adele show she got a gown gown on she not giving us no uptempo no time. I don't want no uptempo Adele.
Starting point is 00:54:09 As up tempo as I want Adele to go is rolling in the deep. That's what I said. rolling a little bit past rolling in the deep. Give me 10 of those. I think she could easily pull it off. He could, but do we want that? You want it? I don't want it.
Starting point is 00:54:24 Well, first of all, I would love to hear 30 in the desert. I don't care if she would be at Coachella where you want maybe more drugged up music. Don Tom was not. Danham got him at Coachella? He could definitely headline next year. Headline? Absolutely. One of the headlines here.
Starting point is 00:54:44 Absolutely. You see what he's doing on his tour? I do. But Coachella headliners tend to be like, it's not about having a big year. That's like about having a big career. No, I hear what you're saying, but I do think Don could do that.
Starting point is 00:55:00 If he's paired with two other big headliners for the weekend. He could do like a, he could do a Friday set. Friday night headliner. He did it this year. This past April, right? He headlined? He performed. But I'm saying now he's in a different space.
Starting point is 00:55:18 But, but yeah, but you gotta have, you gotta have what, how long is the headline set like 30 minutes, four, an hour? Hour and a half? Yeah, like, that's. His set now was hour. Yeah, but. Yeah, I'm waiting to see like, man, y'all. 90 minutes to an hour and 40.
Starting point is 00:55:34 Yeah. Have you, have you ever seen Dawn Live? No, I've never seen Don Live. But it's not up. When you're doing a, so pain. to go see somebody that you like one particular person, you know you're a fan of those.
Starting point is 00:55:47 That's why you're going, or you want to discover more about them. When you buy a Coachella ticket, it's usually someone who caters to a large group. Are you saying I'm saying when you're picking out a headliner? That's why so often it's a pop artist. It's someone who can cater to damn there every body that's there.
Starting point is 00:56:05 So you have to have kind of like a longer career to do that. Yeah, I mean, for the most part, it is a lot of legacy acts. Yeah. Or extremely big pop ex. But I mean, like, 2019, not to take anything away from Childish Gambino, I think he's incredible. I mean, as far as when Childish crossed over to being super popular, you have because of the internet and then the, what's the, I love the album with the blue and black cover. He didn't have much. Yeah, that's true.
Starting point is 00:56:35 And they paired him with Tame and Paul and Ariana Grande. So I don't think Don taking the slot the way Childish did. Is that far-fetched? But now that he performed last year, then no, I don't think. Yeah. Yeah, I forgot to either than April. Awaken my love was the name of the childish album. Amazing album.
Starting point is 00:56:52 I just don't know if, like, how many songs from that besides the single, did he probably play a Coachella, not many? So I don't know. I can do it, but. Yeah. That makes sense. You guys are right. I'll take you back.
Starting point is 00:57:05 But I don't know, just does, let me ask you, do you think Drake takes that? Because he would have to make it like a moment moment out of, Coachella, would he give that to Coachella? Obviously, he's not doing the Super Bowl because of relationships and that whole thing. Does he give that moment to Coachella? There's not very many moments. There's headlining Coachella, there's Super Bowl. Well, he's definitely going on tour.
Starting point is 00:57:30 Yeah. You know that. I don't know. I don't know. I feel like he's, Drake is in the space where he's just, I guess, all of the things that, you know, other artists. would love to do. I think he's probably like in the space where he's like turning all of that shit down and just doing his own thing. But I don't know. I mean, I think he'll definitely be on tour next April. Yeah. I just don't know if he stops
Starting point is 00:58:03 and does Coachella. But if he does do Coachella, it is going to be something production-wise that's on a whole other level. Yeah. And I guess why I ask because, yeah, I believe obviously he'll be on tour at that time. I do think when I say moment for Coachella kind of to what we're speaking with the legacy thing. I don't know if it makes sense for Drake to go do the Iceman tour at Coachella. Like I think he needs to make a Coachella set in a moment where you're going through your whole catalog, like not just place my arena tour stage at Coachella and do that set. Or do something cool, Iceman in the desert. No, for sure there'd be Iceman Records. I mean, he probably, you know what I'm saying? Can do some shit like
Starting point is 00:58:45 that, I don't know, like, yeah, just as far as production. But even like Beavs, Beavs went through his whole catalog when he was about to do the swag. So, like, I think it has to be a whole different set. Yeah, no, for sure. In that regard. From the tour. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:59 But, I mean, ice way in the desert would be cool as well. I mean, Frank tried it. He was going to have the ice skating rink, right? Yeah. Did he have the ice skating rink? It was there. Okay. That's what I say.
Starting point is 00:59:11 I feel for Franklin, man. I know he got right in his trailer He said this is why I don't go outside This is why I stayed to myself I told you I didn't want to do you And you know he found the one person That he trust that like talked to me I fucking told you
Starting point is 00:59:26 You came over to me and said Yo you should do it Frank Does Frank go ahead Does Frank Ocean have the same man as when he had Before he did Coachella I don't know He had um What happened that year again?
Starting point is 00:59:38 The ice didn't make it And like there was technical difficulties production mishaps. Like it was it was a mess to the point that he didn't even do the following weekend. Yeah, it was a lot.
Starting point is 00:59:52 Late Star, production changes, set content. It abruptly ended. They took it off to live stream. Just bad, man. That was bad. And I was looking forward to that because we hadn't seen Frank Ocean
Starting point is 01:00:05 in a while before that, right? And we all thought they put the orange BMW out in the desert. We thought we were getting the whole album with this shit. Like Frank don't come outside for no reason. There might be an album at midnight after that performance. Nope.
Starting point is 01:00:19 Just a bunch of ice skaters in the desert. And a canceled show six songs in. You know how mad I would have been if I went to the desert for that? Because that's something I would. Frank headlining is something I would go out. Oh, no. That's what most people went for. Like I'm making a weekend out of that.
Starting point is 01:00:36 Yeah. And then that happens, I would be fucking pissed. Oh, man. Well, you know, you don't usually find. out like by the time you find out who's headline in Coachella the tickets are sold out right like you had to start I think they put they put the tickets on sale with the lineup announcement I think it was that like they're right after they oh yeah the tickets go on sale like two days after coach up the last one the cheaper version and then I'm sure they go up extensively in price I don't know I just always felt like
Starting point is 01:01:03 by the time they release the fucking headliners the tickets are damn they're gone so like you can buy a lot of people buy tickets I have no idea that line I mean that's because they've created such an amazing brand that you know that no matter what it's going to be okay yeah but i i enjoyed coachella the one day that that i went and maybe if you stay there longer you get some of the more annoying things people talk about the dust and all that shit i listen man you get a fucking bandana and you're you're you're fine oh man put your sheafs you know it wasn't super super like it was sold out obviously but i didn't feel like i was like this everywhere like you can move around they have great food like i had a good
Starting point is 01:01:41 experience at Coachella. I need to tell you about this new prediction market called Polymarket. It's the best new way to trade in sports in the past. It's stock exchange for sports, buying in and selling out on your terms. I've tried them all. And Polymarket is simply the best prediction market. Starting point is 01:04:19 It's real. Those are the very people who I always say vote against their own economic interest and they complain about the very thing to receive. It's raw. I knew that the issue of transgender athletes was not going well with a lot of black men. Roland Martin unfiltered. I went off, I said, this is exactly what I'm talking about. You're going to scream at Chanel, but you don't want to see a black luxury company in the same vein.

So if you Democrats, you don't wait to 2030, you better be hitting the ground going hard in the south now. And download Roland Martin unfiltered on the IHart radio app, Apple Podcasts. Wherever you get your podcasts. Staying on music. I like that we clown complex for putting out lists,
Starting point is 01:05:16 but I do like that they keep updating this hottest rappers alive list per month. I think that's kind of cool. We're in the era where everything is right now and in the moment. So waiting for year-end lists. I like the month-by-month type of thing. So it was good to see who drops in 30 days. Who is the hottest 30 days later? Not that hot anymore.
Starting point is 01:05:40 But shit moves so fast. Like, it reflects the era. I feel like, like, I feel like even after Complex Con, like, that shifts things. Like, Playboy Cardi should be higher after the incident. And that's fucked up to say. But, like, Kanye going there and make it a huge moment. Like, that counts. Yeah, I guess.
Starting point is 01:05:59 And they did perform, right, Cardi and Ye. Carty did. I don't know. Kanye did come out. Okay. Kanye did come out. Yeah. But to me, that's a moment.
Starting point is 01:06:07 Like, if you're going month by month. month, I think those things matter. Maybe not in the long run, but in this style of updating, I think that's fine. Like, I love that Eminem is now at 15 because he has a song with Kid Rock, working out their political differences.
Starting point is 01:06:26 We vote in November. We got to hear both sides. That's very true. Absolutely. You think that's what we need at a time like this? Come on. We need the soundtrack to go to the polls. You know that? You know we need something to listen to. But we can do the top 10.
Starting point is 01:06:42 It's Drake, Don, Yeh, Rodway, Playboy, Cardi, JZ, Yeet, Ken Carson, Travis, Scott, Kendrick Lamar is the top 10. Is the top 10. Do we have what it was last month, Ryan? Yeah. What were the major changes? No Jay Cole. No Jay Cole in the top 10 anymore. Yeah, you jumped up six spots.
Starting point is 01:07:03 Well, I mean, that's because he performed at the platform that's putting this list out. I'm Wait, so wait, Kendrick's currently higher than J. Cole on October's list? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:18 Cole is at 12, Kendrick is at 10, young boys in between him. Was there a thing? Oh, he was in the studio for the Shack album. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:07:32 You know, you saw the photo. You saw the photo. Makes sense. It's hot. No, that makes a lot of sense. Yeah, it makes sense. That's right. And this is not for everyone thinking this is going to be a Kendrick bashing thing.
Starting point is 01:07:41 Jay Cole is still on a sold-out tour. That hasn't changed since September. Cole should still be in the top fucking 10. Like, what are we talking about? Where's Macklemore at? He's pretty hot. 24. He's pretty hot.
Starting point is 01:07:55 Then he move up. He was scorching. He wasn't at the last time. He wasn't on the last time. He's number 24 now. Scorching. I'm telling you. That's who I was waiting for y'all to talk about.
Starting point is 01:08:06 Where's Maclamoy at it? scorching hot. Amen. He's tearing up the charts. Where's Ed? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, he's tearing up to charts. Macklemore's number 24.
Starting point is 01:08:17 Taring up the charts is fucking right. He wasn't on the list of in September. He's number 24 now. So you think because of Robert Kraft, McElmore's shot up to 24. However, why ever you want to say he's there, he's number 24 now is all I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:08:30 This is going to sound great. He should be higher. I thought he was going to be number one. I thought, I told Maclemore. That's surpassing the ice man. What he's out there doing right now? Shit.
Starting point is 01:08:43 Okay. Hear me out. I know we're making jokes, but in the month of September going into October, was that not one of the most talked about things and did it surround music? Because it was what he was saying on stage. He should crack the top 15. Rory, I'm laughing, but I'm not joking. I thought he was going to be number one.
Starting point is 01:09:04 You know. I'm just saying. I thought McLeod's going to be number one. I don't know where Rod Wave stands. Yeah, like, come on, man. McLemore, you heard what he did? Mm-hmm. He said, all I needed was two shows.
Starting point is 01:09:16 He went in there with a plane. You know how you playing your shit? Months out, baby, D. Maclemore knew. He was like, yo, Ed called. Like, oh, I need two shows to get my political shit off. Yeah. And I'm out of there.
Starting point is 01:09:27 You know what he was doing. Streams went up. Everything. You know what he was doing? Nice net 30 coming. Yeah. Wait, how long it take out to get y'all streaming checks? how that can
Starting point is 01:09:37 that can depend it depends on the people he's actually to deal with your publisher the people that he's actually fighting and standing up against they might it might be a net 90 they might hold
Starting point is 01:09:50 all his earnings for a few in fact they were promised his earnings 400 years ago they might hold his earnings man oh shit where's one dummy on this list
Starting point is 01:10:05 He was a rapper. Oh, man. And he's doing the cool shit with Nas, not like a hip hop union. Pull that up that they're doing. I saw that Nas did something really cool with Grand Master Cass of just making sure the legends are okay. He was talking to Mondami about that. And what we always talked about that they do in Canada,
Starting point is 01:10:24 where you can get a grant to be an artist. Mondani's trying to bring that to New York where you can get, was it a 10K grant to do that? My thing, all right. Here's my thing. I think that's great and we've always been jealous of it. We've always thought what they do in Toronto is so cool. We've gotten Daniel Caesar from that grant. We've gotten division from that grant. We've gotten amazing art. Jesse Reyes from that. Some of our favorite music comes from that. I think Mandami might get himself in a RICO if it's with New York music. $10,000 grant to hear. It's just a little different. It's a little different.
Starting point is 01:11:05 A little different here. It's just a little different. What happens when GS9 gets that grant and all of it doesn't go to studio charges? That is just appropriating government fun. This is going to be bad. This is going to be bad. I think it's amazing.
Starting point is 01:11:22 Yeah, no, the thought is amazing. We've been begging for this in New York City. We are the liberal arts mecca. Like, art runs this entire city. We have the greatest artists. People come here from all over to be artists. this is an awesome program that Canada has beat us to. I just don't know with where the music scene is now.
Starting point is 01:11:42 Yeah. If the line items on some of those grants. Yeah. Yeah. But that puts Mondami on the list, in my opinion. He's a rapper. He did this. He got to put out some music, though.
Starting point is 01:11:58 You got to drop something. How would you feel if you? What was the chant that they gave him, the hook that they were singing to them yesterday? That was the hook. was it traitor traitor maw you want to sample that and throw some 808 no because y'all not going to let me hear
Starting point is 01:12:15 hold on I got a fight what rhymes with mayor traitor not technically holy shit I think people that listen to this podcast often know where I stand on the Israel-Palestine conflict I will say as a left-leanor
Starting point is 01:12:37 this is why we can never win this is why us as Democrats will always fucking lose. We have our dream candidate. Look what you're doing. Oh, man. This is a simulation, though. You know that.
Starting point is 01:12:49 None of this is real. He's the mayor of the city with the most amount of Jewish people outside of Israel. Of course he's going to be at the October 7th. What is the fuck is wrong with you? Y'all know where I stand on this shit. It's fuck Israel all day.
Starting point is 01:13:01 But of course the mayor is going to be there. I don't feel the way. I don't think Mondi has changed. I don't think he's a traitor. And this is why as Democrats, we will always fucking fail. We eat our leaders for the most minuscule things ever.
Starting point is 01:13:15 While the Republicans don't give a fuck and just unify. Well, actually now they've changed a bit, but that's how they got it. But they'll still make excuses for it. You're trying to get that shit. Okay, that's the hook. Trader, traitor, come on out. Trader, trader, come on out.
Starting point is 01:13:38 You sold all your people out. You sold all your people. Yeah, my dog can catch that. Clip that page. I'm going to make a beat around that. He could catch that that, that, that beat. He could catch that flow right there and give him something. Pete, put that and I'll make.
Starting point is 01:13:53 Trader, trader, traitor, come on. I have a live stream idea or Patreon. Let's make this beat live on Patreon. You can see Mom Donnie catching that. Oh, yeah. No, I like the baseline that you're ever. I feel like J-B. You know what I like.
Starting point is 01:14:14 I feel the baseline. Trader, trader, come on out. That was like a Commodore baseline. You sold all your people out. You sold all your people out. You sold all your people out. You sold all your people loud. Stop playing with them, right?
Starting point is 01:14:30 All your people loud. You saw, you so, you so, you so, you so, you so, you so, you so, you so. You see where it's going to be. Yeah, I start throwing ass, my bad. I'm eating food. They're going to throw ass to that. Yo, the city is crazy. I'm telling you.
Starting point is 01:14:47 A lot of entendres in that. Not a good go crazy. When you tell Aviv, like, there's a lot you can do. Yeah. Tel Aviv. Tel Aviv. Sel Avie. Rhyme in Tel Aviv with Sel Avie is insane. And don't let Azealia Banks get on the remix.
Starting point is 01:15:07 She's in Israel right now. I think. Oh my God. We're in turn dangerous territory, guys. Yo. How? That's her fault. Everyone knows where the fuck we stand on that.
Starting point is 01:15:17 Holy shit. I know. That's why we're into danger territory. I'm afraid of the people. I'm not afraid of the people that support us. I just think Mom Dani has a moment to take something like that and turn it into, you know, some bars. Yeah. It's flew.
Starting point is 01:15:28 No. We just sat with Nause. Come on, man. He did what he was supposed to do. I think people are just really stupid. Yeah. No. It's far left doing far left shit that I think is detrimental to the party.
Starting point is 01:15:41 It's okay. Detramental to the party. Yeah. Do you don't think that it? No. It's just the way you worded that. like damn. Okay.
Starting point is 01:15:49 Listen there. You signed it invested. Of course I am. Detriments was up. Maybe I'm. It's fucking November's coming up. This is, I know we say this every time.
Starting point is 01:15:58 This is the fucking most important election. The outcome is do something with that beat. You want to be a rapper so bad. Me? I'm writing a verse to a single by Bryson Tiller and Victoria Monet. You want to hop on it with me? We can go back and forth,
Starting point is 01:16:15 like styles and kiss. Mm-mm. A lot of rappers think that they can go back. You know, everybody, whenever it's back before, style and kids, no, that's just, let's tell a thing. Maybe T and Tamara? I'm not, I never. That's one thing I am very self-aware.
Starting point is 01:16:29 I could never rap. Tara, I tried maybe twice to write, and I was just like, when fuck this shit. You didn't give it a good try. I think you're being hard on yourself. I think you're afraid. You know what, you're not, it's your light, not your darkness that frightens you.
Starting point is 01:16:44 I agree. What is that? You get that cool Batman? What is that? She just quoted Coach Carter. What did you get that? Damaris, where did you get that from? It's a poem.
Starting point is 01:16:58 It's literally a very, very famous poem. I just remember the Spanish skin, Coach Carter just turns up and study hall and just starts reciting it. He did. He did. The kid with the ponytail. Samuel Jackson kept grabbing him in the middle of a fourth quarter. What's your deepest fear, young man?
Starting point is 01:17:18 I'm trying to win a fucking basketball game. I'm trying to set a screen. It's a quote from Marion Williamson, a return to love, reflections on the principles of a course and miracles. It's the section. Yeah. It's your light.
Starting point is 01:17:31 Yeah, what's your biggest fear? Your biggest fear is not that you're inadequate. Your biggest fear is powerful beyond measure. That's not my biggest fear. That's your biggest fear in the rap game. In the rap game, for sure. That I'm trying to tell you. Beyond measure.
Starting point is 01:17:47 Imagine somebody told you, Get out of your own way, my biggest fear is I'm powerful beyond measure. What? Come on, man. You think you think Yeats' first verse was great? Nah, he put the work in. You could be Yeat.
Starting point is 01:18:03 That's true. I could be. Not anymore, but I probably could have been. You could have been Yeat. Well, not Yeet, but I could have been. Your generation's yeat. Not my generation's, but yeah, I could have been. You said meat?
Starting point is 01:18:17 Well, I didn't think. think about it because I just took the M from Mall and were like, no, you shouldn't do that though. Like you should never do that again. I wasn't thinking. Yeah, never do that again. It came out faster than like, I thought. Don't do that again.
Starting point is 01:18:29 Don't take the M from Mall and put it anywhere else. Like, leave it right there, mall. Thank you very much. There's so much with the marketing that you can do. Yeah, I'm cool. Put you in a butcher shop? No, Benny. We have, we have Benny.
Starting point is 01:18:38 We have Benny for that. Let Benny do the butcher shop thing. Oh, God. I saw this on the timeline. Somebody posted the Billboard Hot 100. October 4th, 2003. And I thought maybe that could be fun each month of us just going back. Maybe we do 06 just since it's 2026, just to see what the charts were 20 years before that.
Starting point is 01:19:02 We were so spoiled in October of 2003. Who's that, Beyonce, Sean Paul, number one? Baby boy, shake your tail feather, Nelly, Diddy Murphy Lee, classic. That's Peach favorite rapper. I know Pige was going crazy in 04. Right there, Chingy, get low, little Johnny Sideball. boys fronten for L jZ fab tamiya or Ashanti i love that they put both at this time so into you p iMP 50 where's the love black i p's that was the first that was the first far left democratic
Starting point is 01:19:32 song of all times wait what list is this scroll up so you can get the exact name the billboard hot 100 billboard hot 100 October this was the hot 100 2003 that's how spoiled we were and rap was young blood's little john damn match block 20 unwell Great classic rock. Or alternative rather. Crazy in love. Beyonce JZ. Why don't you and I?
Starting point is 01:19:57 I'm not crazy. I'm just the little. That was my shit right now. Missed the alternative rock. Can't hold us down. Christina Aguilera, Lil'Kim, stand-up, ludicrous. Can't Stop, Won't Stop.
Starting point is 01:20:09 Young guys featuring mall. Here Without You, Three Doors Down. Another classic. Maya, my love is like, whoa. Shanti rain on me. Like, look. Baby Bash Frankie J. sugar,
Starting point is 01:20:20 more, you wasn't outside. Oh, it's five o'clock somewhere, Jimmy Buffett. Sorry. This was the
Starting point is 01:20:27 top 20. This is the greatest playlist I've ever seen. That's wild that that's Billboard. That much rap being on it is wild.
Starting point is 01:20:36 But you know what? You don't want to why. If you scroll up and this is, I've been saying that this formula is missing in rap
Starting point is 01:20:41 and this is where we fucked up for the longest. I'm not going to say who this blame is, but we all know who is to blame. Why people don't sing Why do people stop letting R&B singers sing the hooks?
Starting point is 01:20:52 Almost all of these have R&B singers. Whose fault is that? R&B and rap. Who told you they stopped? They don't do that note. That's not the- The rappers, the rappers try to do it now. The rappers sing their own hooks.
Starting point is 01:21:02 It's fucking up the songs because they can't fucking sing. I agree. They still have a lot of like R&B artists singing the hooks though. I mean, listen, as much as I do like that song structure has changed a bit where it's not just 16 hook, 16 hook. It was a proof of it. I do fucking miss that. Yeah, it was a proven formula. Like here's, let's just get a great producer, a pretty girl that could sing an incredible
Starting point is 01:21:25 hook and insert verse here. We'll gift you in the studio. Just rap about love in a very generic way. We don't know who you're talking about. Super open-ended. And let's call it a fucking day. I mean, and too, you know, this is before streaming as well. Yeah, I mean, obviously with radio politics there, of course it helps.
Starting point is 01:21:46 But with all that said, you can't name me a song on here that's not. incredible. Sometimes politics are right. Like, yes, you heard baby boy 10,000 times a day. His baby boy was an amazing. Baby boy is fucking incredible. There's not a bad song on here. Right, there was a huge
Starting point is 01:22:07 certified hit. Yeah, because rap was running everything. It was. Right, third was number three. Did that ever go number one? I'm sure it. Right. It had to. if Beyonce and Sean Paul were number one, right there had to be number one record.
Starting point is 01:22:27 I think you're underestimated how big Sean Paul was at that time. It peaked at number two. Oh, shit. It was blocked by crazy in love. God damn it, Beyonce. God damn it, Beyonce. God damn it. And I mean, shit.
Starting point is 01:22:45 There's one thing. Jay's going to keep a great feature. He's all over this billboard shape with just a feature. Just features. fronting crazy in love yeah I can't stop won't stop with my shit
Starting point is 01:22:59 but I remember like that get low that little John that that was in every white comedy like that's song that da da dun do do do every dance scene like that's the pre game anthem right there he said ready to get fucked up tonight
Starting point is 01:23:17 get low is the pregame you play you play that the dorm room when you're about to pregame get low come on you know they was putting the rude on to that. And he cornered the market with the whites for a year. Even when I was in college, it was shot, shot, shot, shot, shot, shot, shot. Little John had a run run. He, little John aimed for that pocket right there. Let me get the kids, the white kids in college. You know, we don't want to put the N-word in here too much so they can, you know, sing along. Yeah, I mean, right there. But he was very good at, at everyone loved those records. They just so happen to also
Starting point is 01:23:49 cross over a little bit later. Like, I don't, maybe shots was definitely four. or the Jersey, sure. But like, get low. And there was another joint. The Youngbloods, damn. Like, yeah, the whites liked it. But I don't think they were in there making something for the whites. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:06 Like, where is the love was made for the whites? Where's the love? Black-Ey's. That was Jimmy Iveen's fault. There was a song called P-I-N-P that was number seven on the billboard. Have you not heard of it? Number six. Like, we used to be a proper country.
Starting point is 01:24:29 Ryan, keep me in favor and pull up the current billboard and we're going to just look at the top 50 songs. And we're going to see if anybody, if anybody knows a lyric from any of them. You ready? Sure. Yeah, let's scroll. Taylor Swift, Ella Langley, Taylor Swift is the next seven songs. Well, let's start at number one. Is that a new Taylor Swift song?
Starting point is 01:24:46 Yeah, I think she just released the album. Yeah, she has a new album. So she'll be at the top for the next. Yo, she puts out music like fucking no limit. You. She has another album. You would too if you made as much money as she did off of it. No, I'm here to give her credit because obviously she's the biggest artist and her fans deem it as super high quality music.
Starting point is 01:25:11 To have that type of output, what, like, when was her last album was what a year ago? Yeah, when was the life of a show girl? I think a year and a half ago. She just came off tour just to see Travis at fucking train. training camp. 2025. A year ago, exactly. That's wild.
Starting point is 01:25:30 That's not like, only like her and Drake have that type of output. Like, that's very rare. Holy shit. And look what they have in common. They're both the two of the biggest artists in their genre. That consistency being key is not bullshit. Like, we can all appreciate quality when it takes a long time, of course. But being constantly in the algorithms and constantly on them playlist, it does help you.
Starting point is 01:25:52 What's your relevancy? Well, I mean, I think that was what definitely put Drake over the hump, if you will. Like, he was so consistent. And then, like, by the third album, it was like, he's still putting out this quality, this quick. That says something. But, okay, I don't know, Patient Zero. I'll have to dig into this T. Swift album. I think Paul of Dracula's my shit.
Starting point is 01:26:15 Oh, I'll go. Run from the Starlight, Dracula. That's that shit. You can scroll in? I'm tapped out. Yeah. Did you get to 50 yet? Oh,
Starting point is 01:26:35 I know Midnight's son by Zaire Larson at 18. Why don't choose in Texas at two? Did you know choosing Texas before Drake remixed it? Yeah. You did? I had never heard that song before Drake remixed it. I had never heard that song. Oh, I love thanks to TikTok Cinderella's up at 40.
Starting point is 01:26:51 I love to see that. Oh, I still. Okay. Drake has, Jada shut the fuck up at 22. Jenae and Kendrick, so good at 42. Okay. Cardi with AHA 41. Not bad. That's not bad.
Starting point is 01:27:05 Hey, belly gang number 50. Oh, Tim's, what you need is 30. I didn't know that. That's doing, wow. That's doing very well. I mean, it only peaked at 29. But even still, I didn't expect it to crack top. 50 not because it's not good but just because okay yeah so we know about seven of the songs in the top 50
Starting point is 01:27:29 more we knew damn there every single song and the what the fuck on it's 50 I love that that that belly gang me too shout out the belly gang Cushington I think I could see that hit in the 30s eventually mm-hmm it's only going up and if if listen I haven't talked to justice about this but if they milked that belly game gang and Angel Reese relationship. He out of here. Even if that's fake and they're just friends, they got to, they should stick with that. I think Angel Reese is like in a public like relationship though with another basketball
Starting point is 01:28:05 player. Oh, damn. Yeah. I was what to say. Let's not do that. They was just walking through the tunnel together. They look great. That's so.
Starting point is 01:28:12 She came up to him on court side to say hi and shit. Like, yeah, they know the record. She's no belly. He performed at this at the game. Well, she's no belly game. Everybody know what the fuck on. And you know, she's on Atlanta. dream. Atlanta dream, right?
Starting point is 01:28:25 Mm-hmm. Sure. Yeah, no. You're a piece of shit. Why about a piece of shit? Sure. I'm a Liberty fan. Oh. Oh, they beat the Liberty last night? Damn. Fuck Atlanta. Damn, we got a rough day.
Starting point is 01:28:41 Yankees and the Liberty? Fucking Stankies. The Stankies is funny as hell. I've never heard that we called that before. We've never been swept before. Actually, we have been. We have, but it's. Every time they swept, they call the stankies.
Starting point is 01:28:57 Niggas should have went and watched their baby be born. Yeah, probably right, baby D. Probably was better off going to do that. Scumbag. Like, what type of man would just skip, go to the mound instead of seeing your kid? What type of piece of shit? See how karma work? What type of piece of shit?
Starting point is 01:29:13 We would never tell him to go do that? I would. I would tell him to do that. Do you think Aaron Boone is going? Yeah. first one to have a losing record in the postseason. Yeah, I think he's out of there. As the Yankee manager.
Starting point is 01:29:32 It's time. Peach thinks he's loved by the front office. Once you hit a losing record and you're the first one ever do that. You can still be loved by the front office, but it's like we got to get some new energy. You're milking that home run against the Red Sox a little too much at this point. Yeah. Like that deal's done. It's time.
Starting point is 01:29:48 Let's get some new blood in the clubhouse and shake things up a little bit. How old is Joe Torrey? Nah, he's not coming. He can't come back. He can't do that. I know one name. Who? It's time.
Starting point is 01:30:01 Cheater? It's time. Now, is he, he still invested with the Marlins, though, right? No, he sold. He did? It's time. It's time. Come on back to the Bronx, Derek.
Starting point is 01:30:13 With the number two. Yeah, come on, man. Come on. Come on. Come back to the Bronx, man. I think it's time. It's time. If he sold his steak in the Marlins, it's time. Come on.
Starting point is 01:30:21 Come on home, man. Come on. maybe suit up listen listen not too much listen listen
Starting point is 01:30:29 I'm just saying he might be able to do something there in that slot is all I'm saying got fucking rookie short stops yeah
