With our friends, fellow comedians, and favorite authors.
Like Mark Lamont Hill on the 80s.
84 was a wild year.
It was a wild year.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.

No, Roeer & Ma!
That's crazy that you had that.
What dark corner are you?
Is that Edna or Rory that has that saved?
Well, he sent it to me.
Yeah.
I didn't save it.
That sounds like that.
Oh.
That was you.
I know.
That's loving myself.
What was like to do that?
And I hope we're rolling.
That's, you're like the male, Nikki Minaj with your growl.
You know how she does that shit?
I'm not the man.
You know when she does her growl thing?
I'm not.
That's not per shit that all the women like.
This is yours.
No, you made one for men.
You made it for us.
We can participate now with this.
I was trying to emulate how women cat call men.
I don't know.
I appreciate the attempt.
We can start.
start the shit. Because it's so uncomfortable when women call us.
Like when a woman says, all right, you want to fuck me, put your dick out right now.
What do you do?
I run. Exactly. No man has ever been like, all right. Like, it's kind of like, yo, what you mean?
Like, you got to ask a question to her question.
No, you know, on Twitter, all the ill dudes. Of course, I pull my dick out.
I'm fine. Cut it out. There's something off with that woman.
And I'm getting far the fuck away from her. Welcome to a new episode of New Rory and Mall.
I'm all. That's Rory. That was a good intro.
I mean, you know, it's a rainy day in New York City, man.
keep it all. Me and my guy Rory was in them streets last night. Unexpectedly, I saw the group chat and
everybody asked who's going to the game. I was like, oh shit, everybody's here tonight.
Separately. See how much we all communicate and fuck with each other. Great night.
Woke up to, you know, another rainy spring day. It's officially spring, right?
It is. I think. Rainy spring day in New York City. Yeah, it's April. It has to be spring.
If not, we're all in trouble. Yeah, spring starts on March 20th this year. So, you
Yes.
It is spring.
We're two weeks into spring.
Oh, context.
Alex Isley, Jack Don, under the moon.
Alex Isley, Jack Don, off the Mari Gold, Marigold.
Mary Gold.
Mary Gold.
Mary Gold project.
Alex Eisen and Jack Don cannot miss.
At all.
If you haven't downloaded this album, this experience, this adventure of emotions and pain and love.
His own adventure of emotion.
Oh, my God.
I'm telling you, Roy.
He was on an emotional roller coaster?
I was on an emotional roller coaster, man.
It was like, Jesus Christ.
Like, I'm just waiting for them to miss.
He was in a glass case of emotion.
Yeah, they don't like on a...
We haven't seen a run like this with R&B.
No, the two of them.
In a long time.
I can't wait until they lock in for the album album.
Exactly.
They keep pumping out these amazing EPs,
and I guess you consider it an album.
Alex Ozzy, Jack Don.
Congrats on another major project.
Mary Gold is on your DSPs now.
Please download and stream.
that support real musicians, real artists, real music.
It's funny because you curved her and I to hang out.
I didn't, no, did I see?
I didn't curve.
I would never curve the talented, beautiful Alex Isley.
I was curving me.
I just have to be with her.
Yes, as you were with her in the studio.
No, I didn't know that that was the night in L.A.
that you were in the studio.
And then I had other shit going on by the time I would have made it to where you was at.
It's just, you know.
I understand.
But I definitely want to go to the next session whenever that may be.
I just love to watch dope musicians that I am actually a fan of create just to, you know, go in their world for a minute and just see how they how they do things.
Well, I'm under the weather today.
I woke up very fucking sick, so I'm going to punch through this.
Well, you had us out late last night.
Well, here's the thing.
I think I deserve the sickness that I have.
Do you?
I deserve it.
Why?
I've been to say less three times in two days.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
I got, this is my karma.
This is what I deserve.
Now you have to say less.
because you're sick.
Can you see how that works?
I had such an ill bar
when we were to say less in my head.
Less was said.
I need rest in bed.
I know what you're going.
Yeah, I know what you're going with?
When I was going with, I want her to open up more.
She just wanted to say less.
Hmm.
Yeah, no, I thought of, I...
Yeah, you heard of call and edit, mm.
That one was so ingenuous.
That's because everybody is nasty in here.
Baby Dee is not with us.
She's in Jamaica.
She's on vacation.
It's amazing how Baby Dee actually
took a vacation before Roy and I had been potting and making billions of dollars for the last.
Giving it to DeMaris.
Yeah, she gave it to Demaris.
She first class on her way to Jamaica.
I hope she has a great time.
She deserves it.
Happy birthday to her.
It's just interesting because, you know, she still hasn't answered my question.
I've been asking her for four days who she was going to Jamaica with.
And she just won't answer me.
She keeps threatening me.
That's your answer.
She keeps talking to me like I'm not her boss.
Like, I don't understand.
Like, you know.
That's her private life.
Yeah, it is.
It is her problem.
Now you're being a creepy boss.
No, but I'm HR as well.
So, you know, I wear different hats, worry.
You see all the hats I wear?
But HR also can't ask you where, who you're with when you're not in office.
No, that's your personal life.
But I have to prove.
I approve the vacation, right?
Imagine being at a company and someone says, yo, who you fucking.
No, no.
It's not the same.
I asked her.
I just said, hey.
If you're going to Jamaica with somebody, you're probably fucking them.
That's a fact.
What if it was a family trip?
Who goes to Jamaica with a family?
The Maris is in hedonism throwing ass.
You don't take a family trip to hedonism.
In first class.
She's going to kill me.
I don't know if she was going to.
But no, I just asked her.
I put on my friend hat when I asked her who she was going with.
So it's like, you know, I know the lines get blurred between, you know, boss, HR and friend.
But it's like, I was like, hey, who are you going to Jamaica with?
That's not.
That's not at all.
That's not how I said it?
Oh, damn.
All right.
It sounded like, you know when you hear yourself, like, I don't know if y'all listen back to, like, the pod, but like,
The way you hear yourself on the podcast is not how you hear it in your head.
No, no.
Maul said, end quote, Damaris, you're not in Jamaica yet?
And then all in caps, who are you going with?
Question mark, exclamation.
No, because that was the fourth time, Edin, that I asked her twice in person in studio.
Well, she ignored me.
I'm thinking, told me to shut the hell up in mind my business.
Maul's thinking, like, in case of emergency, who do we contact?
Yeah, I got to make sure.
I'm protecting black women.
I'm making sure Damaris is.
okay on a black island.
Demand to protect you.
I'm just making sure she's okay in Jamaica.
That's all.
But yes, baby D have fun. We'll see you when you get back.
We're just going to skate over all of last night?
No, no, no, let's get it to last night.
So last night was...
Clearly, we split this 50-50, right?
Yes.
Clearly you make more money than me.
No, I don't make more money to you.
Clearly, you spend better than me.
No, well, that may be.
Maybe that may be true.
So last night I was getting dressed.
I was in the crib smoking.
And Julius had hit me Monday.
He hit me Monday and he was like, yo, what's up, man?
That's Julius right now.
No, it's not Julius.
He was like, yo, what's up, man?
Let's do something Wednesday.
Let's go out.
Let's hit the streets.
Now, this is awkward because Julius never hits me and says,
let's hit the street days in advance.
We usually, if I go to the game, we'll figure it out after the game.
Go get something to eat away.
Something calm and nice, something, get him back to where he needs to be.
Yeah, something that's just like, you know, just talk shit, laugh, you know, not the club shit,
just some dinner and, you know, go home with his free throws.
Yeah, Julius is a married family man.
He's a responsible man and, you know, so, you know, shout out to his wife, Kendra.
So he hit me Monday.
He said, yo, what's up, man?
What you're doing Wednesday?
You inside or you outside.
I was like, first of all, it's Monday.
I don't know what I'm doing Wednesday.
Yeah.
But okay.
Then he told me that, yeah, let's go out after the game.
I said, well, who are y'all playing?
Because I know he shut it down for a
rest of the season. He has an injury, so he shut it down. He said the Nets. I said, oh,
Kyrie's first game at the garden? Yeah, unvaxed. Oh, I'll be there. Yeah, Nixon Nets give you
high-fis. So go to the game. And, you know, Julius, my guy, I love him. He leaves me tickets.
He doesn't know where the tickets are. Most sometimes he does, but this night he didn't.
Julius has me sitting right by, oh, let's back a little bit. Then I look at the group chat.
group chat, you're at the game.
I am.
Julian is at the game.
Was Pigeon Carl, were you at the game?
No, Julian was at the game.
It was Julian.
Well, I hit the chat and said I had an extra ticket.
Why didn't one of y'all just be like, y'all?
Because it was the second ticket.
Yeah, I did.
I mean, I asked Rory, I was like, yo, because I asked Rory
who he was with.
And then Rory kind of threw me spice.
Like, yo, you're asking mad questions.
I'm like, well, I have an extra.
And it was just Bernie.
I'm like, well, I have an extra seat.
Like, I was just going to say, yo, if you want to come sit next to me,
I would have, but I didn't want to just bring it out.
I figured that.
Once you said, that's why I said who you was with.
You know, I was like, all, cool.
So, yeah, we all ended up at the game.
Julian made it very clear that he was in Section 1, Seat 5, Row A.
And they kept asking us where he was at not to really figure out maybe we can meet.
Not to know where we were at.
I'm in Section 1.
Then I finally said it.
And, like, I could see he already said where he was.
And then after he was like, okay, but I'm in Section 1.
Yeah, I'm just in Section 1.
So then I get to the game.
I get to my seats.
And usually I recognize the seats like when I get the tickets sent to the phone because they email you to the tickets now.
And I've seen this.
I was like, okay, this is a totally different section of where I'm at.
Maybe it's because.
Not in the side chick section.
Yeah, maybe because it's a big game and, you know, the seats were kind of sold out, whatever.
I walk in and I show to usher the ticket.
And she's like, oh, you're right here.
Right this way, Mr. Clay.
She starts walking to the scorers table like I'm about to sub in.
I'm like, wait, wait, wait.
She gave you some powder.
Yeah, I'm like, wait, oh.
The slip knot was on the ground?
I'm like, what's going on here?
Like, I didn't stretch.
You know what I'm saying?
This is a big game than I.
I didn't stretch.
I'm sitting right behind Andre Drummond.
Okay.
Right next to see.
We're about to get into that.
The game sounded great.
I'm sitting right behind Andre Drummond.
Shout out to my man, Dre,
and sitting right next to the team of Soos.
You know, I thought about getting a massage at the half,
but she left, you know, expeditiously
and went in the locker room
to get earned her salary.
To do her job?
Yeah.
And I'm sitting there.
And I'm sitting there.
And I'm just like, this has to be the worst seat in the house.
Like, I'm sitting behind 611 dude, 69, 666, 6.7.
And no matter who they sub in and out.
Yeah, I'm just, and not only that they have these, they have like these extra, like,
cushions on a chair now where they can sit up.
So you're already 6'8.
Now with the cushion, you 7.2.
Now you got heels on.
I'm just like, though, what's going on?
I mean, I mean, it sounded great.
I know all of the Nets plays now.
I was in the huddle the entire night.
Steve Nash is doing a great job.
All he does is yell Kevin every timeout.
Just like Kevin, get Kevin the fucking ball.
But, yeah, it was a great game.
It sounded great.
I saw some of the action.
Should have got on your Belichick shit and sent that over to Julius.
I was trying to read some plays and text Julius at the same time.
But, you know, he didn't have his phone on the bench with him.
My favorite play that the Nets do is anytime they're down,
Kevin Durant becomes the point guard.
Oh, yeah.
That's what Kevin is.
This little basketball thing we do
and isn't working.
Yeah, like Steve,
bring the ball up.
Exactly.
Like Steve Nash comes into the huddle.
He's cursing everybody out.
And then that ends with Kevin.
And I'm just like, I could coach.
I could coach in the NBA.
If I had Kevin Durant on my team.
And let's not forget Kyrie Irvin.
That's the one reason why I really went to.
I've seen Katie play plenty of times.
But I don't think I've seen
Cairie play more than twice.
I think every time.
I had a chance to see Kyrie play.
He was either hurt.
This season, he didn't play most of the games in,
none of the games in New York.
This was his first game.
So it was good to see Kyrie.
And they have a, you know, just seeing them that close up last night
and watching how they interact with each other.
If Katie and Kyrie can stay healthy and Patty Mills
and Seth Curry and those are those role players
and those veterans could just, you know, do their job.
It's going to be hard to beat the next, bro.
And I know that's not saying much because they came back down
versus the Knicks.
Relax.
Choose your words wise.
I mean, they were cooking them at one point.
No, the Knicks looked good.
I made a bunch of bets that shouldn't have made.
Yeah, the young, you see, you got ahead of yourself.
The young guys were out there playing hard.
You know, it was a good game.
But, you know, once Kyrie and Katie decide that it's time to go win, man, I don't think
there's too many teams that can stop them.
But, um, Carrie said that, quote on quote, had a, the Knicks had a good chance of
getting back at them in free agency.
But we felt like we wanted to build here and just make our mark on this franchise.
I guess they won the role.
This game answers to everything.
Yeah, well, we knew that.
We knew that the Knicks had a chance to get Katie and Kyrie.
But for whatever reason, I guess, like Kyrie said, they wanted to build a culture with the Brooklyn Nets and try to win there as opposed to Madison Square Garden and the Knicks.
I don't, you know.
Has Fab given us an OB-Topping bar yet?
Fab has a bunch of options with Obie Topper.
If he did, it has to be on the Gallus remakes.
Wow.
I feel like on the Gialis remakes, you know,
Oshie Top.
Fab is not going to be on.
I'm saying because it's the Gialis is like,
Oshi Topping, Obi Topton.
I mean, it got to be somewhere in there, Fad.
When he was drafted.
Who?
Fab, to that song.
Yeah, he killed that shit.
His version was crazy.
He killed that.
I'm just saying, Fab has left that one on the table.
No, Fab has had, if you came through the NBA,
Fab has had your name in a bar.
That's a fact.
But just that one seemed so obvious.
Good or bad.
You know, whether you were trash or superstar,
he had your name in the bar before.
Or if he was sneak dis in you
because, you know,
sharing the same women. At the time, he's a married man.
Talking about early 02.
Throwback when he was fabulous sport. Yeah, exactly.
Well, are we going to get to the end of the game? Because I
wasn't as close as you, so I didn't have the same experience.
It was a terrible experience, bro. Let me tell you. Like I said, I coached all night.
You were literally like one body away from Carrie.
Yeah, I was, I just coached all night and I just was like, you know, yelling, shoot that shit.
Every time Carrie got the ball, I was like, yo, shoot that shit, man.
Like, nobody came here to see any of these other guys besides you or
Katie shoot the ball. Let's be honest. We're not trying to see these vaccines dribble the ball.
I like the way unvaccinated players play. You know what I mean? When you unvaccinated, it's like your
shimmy is just a little different. Yeah, it's just like, yo, I ain't vaxed. You know what I'm saying? Like,
I don't got all that extra, what they call metals that's in the in the vax? You say it's metals.
Only your name says there's metals in the way. Yeah, like, you know, it's all kind of dumb shit about the vats. But whatever. But, um, great game. Nets look good.
Next, next season they can do better. Shout out to Julius. Thank you for the tickets, bro.
Well, I paid for my tickets.
So I was walking.
Well, you didn't have to. You just sat next to me for free, but whatever.
I didn't know.
So I was walking out of the garden on the 8th Avenue side.
Yes, yes.
And I was going to walk to say less to take the train just because I'm a man of the people.
And that's just where I'm comfortable.
You were not going to take the train.
You were not going to see the train.
I don't believe that at all.
I saw that jacket you had on.
You was not taking a tray with that jacket.
Yeah, I was cold.
It was silk, too.
So I called them all to invite him.
because we asked some people going over to say less
and, you know, private room.
Anybody can get the private rooms.
It's just a curse.
Yeah, I know.
He just wanted to make it sound good.
All the fixings.
All the chicken saute you can eat.
And I'm so petty because the only thing I ask now
when I go out is, yo, can I smoke in there?
Which is fair.
That's fair.
And Roy's like, can I smoke?
We're like, hell yeah.
Come on, let's go.
So I'm always like, yo, I'm on 31st between seventh and eighth.
I said, oh, perfect.
I'm walking down 31st.
Where are you?
I'm thinking mall's outside, like the common man that he is.
waiting for a Uber or something.
He's like, oh, you see, you see that black sprinter right there?
I'm like, yes, are you behind it?
Are you helping?
Are you pushing it?
And then I see a door slide open.
All the lights fucking going super low, already smoking, laid out in recline.
He's like, oh, come on, I'll drive us up there.
So we and Britt getting into the sprinter.
and I'm thinking Maul is about to just drop us off to say less
because I'm thinking, because he had said,
I think Julius want to chill, whatever.
So we get to say less, and I'm like,
oh, you got to double back and pick up Julius
or he needs to get a sprinter.
More said, this is my sprinter.
Yeah.
I mean, but I told you, that's how I move around
when it's time to go out.
It fits 12 people.
Yeah, but listen, I like to be comfortable, man.
I like to be comfortable.
I like to move on my own pace.
you know what I'm saying.
So you got to do that, man.
I wasn't expecting it.
I don't do much.
I don't go out much.
So last night I thought was going to be one of those, you know, out of retirement nights.
And it didn't.
And we retire.
Yeah, we got retired.
Oh, yeah.
It was over early.
And there was even potential.
I just, I was tired.
You know what it is?
When you go out now, I think you realize, like, it's really all the same shit.
Like, you're really not going to miss anything that you haven't already done or experienced.
still you get to a point where you like,
bro, I can go home now and get like a good,
a real eight hours of sleep.
You know what I mean?
And that's what it was.
I was like, let me just go home.
We could have went out and did something.
But drop Rory off at his car.
I went home.
I once again was vulnerable with mall.
I talked about on this podcast
where I sent him a link to my album.
Oh, yes.
I'm so glad you want to talk about that.
Then I get no reply, which is fine.
Then he texts me like three days later with some other shit.
Like he could still see the link was there.
Didn't even double.
double-tap it for like the heart to make me feel better.
Never listen to it. He's like,
now I want to get in like the right setting and really like really fuck
with it. I know how hard you worked on. He gave me the speech, the bullshit.
It's recorded. Really, really high.
So yesterday when he's driving me to my car,
you know, the sprinter speakers are crazy.
I resend it to him because I'm like, oh, my shit will sound,
it can't sound whack on these speakers.
We get through just the intro and then we get
to my car, which was fine. And then Maul's like,
no, no, I'm just listening to the shit all the way up town.
I was expecting.
I was up all night.
Maybe that's why I'm sick.
Tossing and turning.
Waiting from all to walk in here today.
And be like, yo, listen to your shit.
Ben or repeat.
It's a classic.
It's a classic.
First of all.
Modern day instant.
You know what it is, bro?
Rory sent me this album when he was still working on it.
And I'm like, I know how this goes.
It's going to completely sound different by the time you put this out.
I don't want to listen right now.
I want to listen to when it's like, yo, I'm done.
This is it.
done though.
Now I'm glad he bought that up.
So last night, dropping him off, I heard the intro because he played that from you
before.
That shit was hard.
And then after I dropped off, I kept listening.
Bro, you really have a really good fucking project.
Don't lie to me on camera.
No, no.
I'm being honest, bro.
You have a real, I'm surprised.
I know your ear.
And I know your relationships and the artist that you work with.
I know all of that.
But to hear what you were actually able to go in the studio and put together and actually
hear it done and it's great to come out.
I'm not going to lie, bro, you have a really, really dope project.
That shit is dope.
I appreciate that.
That's a really, really dope project.
Really, really good music on there, bro.
Like, I ain't going to lie.
I was listening, and I'm like, I'm like, my boy might be more talented than I thought.
Like, you really put together a dope fucking album.
Once our contract is up here, man, I'm going full-blown artist, Mo is.
They got to be talking to the mic anymore?
No, listen, bro, I'm telling you, bro, that's a really good fucking album.
I appreciate it.
Really good album.
Good music.
The feature.
the production.
In an alternate universe,
that shit was ass.
How would you tell him?
Wasn't for me.
Well, I would never, first of all,
this, my guy,
I would never tell him on camera.
I would never do that.
Oh, no, no, of course.
I would tell them probably
you'd probably, you got to tweak that a little bit.
It would be private.
You got tweak that a little bit.
A couple joints.
The first three was dope.
The last five was shaky, you know.
You know what was my favorite one in that scenario?
Yo, you didn't mix this.
Yeah, though, right?
You didn't mix this?
This the rush?
Yeah, no, I can hear it.
No, no, that's mixed.
And they were like, no, that's mixed.
Like, oh, I.
It's final on the phone.
Like, if you get sizzle on it, like, it might pop.
But that's what I'm saying.
I didn't want to listen when it was early, when he was still recording,
when he was still waiting the ad joint to get verses.
Because it's like it's going to sound completely different by the,
if I want to hear this again.
So I didn't want to run to it early.
But then last night he sent me the final,
he said this is the final.
This is it.
And that's a really dope project.
I'm not going to lie.
Y'all going to be real happy.
with this. It actually isn't mixed though, by the way.
No, no, well, it still sounds amazing. Like, it sounds, it sounds great. The songs, the production,
a lot of dope features on there. Yeah, man. You did your thing, bro. Proud of you, man.
I played it for the, uh, for Taco Tuesday on Patreon Live.
What are they feeling it? They were, but...
Our, like, Patreon listeners are, like, are nice fans.
Yeah.
Like, they're encouraging. Well, I still get their jokes of.
You know, for sure. They shit on us. There's tears.
They shit on us, but they hand us baby wipes at the end.
They're like, all right, we're just shit on y'all over here.
Here's a white.
They're like the nice crowd.
So I do believe them, how much they loved it.
But I was just like, I don't know.
Maybe I should play this for somebody that hates me.
You know, you got a really good project, bro.
I'm not going to lie.
That shit sounds real.
I listen to it all the way home.
That shit sounds really good.
Well, let's say this because I have no idea when this shit coming out.
So this isn't the rollout.
Not yet.
All right.
Well, you're not changing it, though.
No, no, I'm good.
I know the first record.
I just need to shoot.
I already shout the roll out videos for everything.
I should have to shoot the first actual video
and then I'm good to go.
And here we are today talking to the beautiful people.
And I'm sick because of it.
This is why you need to retire
because I went to say less before the game.
I went to say less the night before the game,
then to the game, then back to say less.
I deserve this.
You're an animal.
That's all you got to say.
Now you got to do less.
I have to do less.
You have to do less.
Because I almost fell for the,
what about the strip club after this?
I almost fell for it.
Yeah.
But we got to do that one night.
I think one night we should make it our business
to like, yo, let's just go out and do everything we wouldn't do.
Well, Loyon,
Loyon came to my crib the other day to talk about some financial shit.
And he was like, on the way out, he was like,
oh, let me know next time that Sunday night party at the strip club is.
And I was like, Loyan, we just went over how much money I'm spending
and how I need to cut back.
Why are you telling you to go to a place where I spend the most money?
Yeah.
He said, oh, no, no, no.
I got Sunday covered.
Oh, okay.
I'm about to go crazy with Loyon.
We got to look at the books.
When the accountant starts talking about that, like, I got it covered.
It's like, all right, where that 10K win?
No, we got it cover.
Yeah, yeah, oh no, you mean I got it covered.
You're just covering it.
But yeah, it was a good night, man.
Shout out to the Knicks.
Shout out to the Nets.
The energy in the building was, it felt like a playoff game,
even though the NICs are nowhere near the playoffs.
Again, unnecessary comment.
I think we all knew that.
You didn't need to bring it back up.
Oh, yeah, I mean, but, you know, they look like they have a good young core.
Yeah, man.
RJ Barrett, totally topping.
I mean, in terms of just not making playoffs, the Lakers.
I was trying, see, this is why you need to keep my Lakers.
his name out your mouth and you know what I'm saying because you was trying to convert the energy
to our nix uh and we don't have lebron james yeah yeah or russle or russle um or ad and i know i know
i know that three i win meliss and hate that we're starting with all those basketball too but we
went out to a game last night so we just recapping our night so um the lakers uh hmm right
stephen a smith said something he said you know the debate between the goat being michael jordan
the LeBron James is completely over now that the Lakers have not made the playoffs this year.
Wait, what?
Well, then he doubled back and said he always felt like Michael Jordan was always the goat.
It was never a debate for him.
But I don't want to get into that because LeBron is one of the greatest in his own right.
I hate when they try to compare you to other grades.
I mean, it is a compliment, but then it's like I'm also myself at the same time.
I brought something different to the game of basketball, so I want to respect LeBron and that.
First of all, Michael was retired when he did SpaceJet.
Jam.
LeBron had to do Space Jam and play.
Well, it was the summer, yes.
He didn't have a game after he left set, but there's no excuse that the Lakers shouldn't be in the playoffs.
I know injuries.
I get the Anthony Davis injuries and, you know, LeBron was hurt some of this season.
But that roster is still too much on that roster for them not to be at least in the playing tournament.
So this season was a disappointment as a Laker fan
I felt like they just never gel, they never mesh,
way too many egos.
You know, I think that the head coach kind of lost,
he lost his legs.
You know, they stopped really playing for him a couple months ago.
It just was a bad season all the way around.
They got a lot to do.
They got a lot of pieces to move, a lot of changes to make.
I think that team will look completely different next season.
But still, there's no excuse that the Lakers shouldn't be in the playoffs.
So as a Lakers fan, it hurts.
This is a sad time.
This is unfamiliar territory for us.
With that said, we get our bingo cards out.
A lot of hove stuff happened.
Here we go.
Should we start with our hove shit?
Because my mentions have been flooded.
Yeah, we could do that.
Start with our hove shit.
We went on Complex and did brackets with BDOT.
Shout out to BDOT.
Shout out to BDX.
Shout out the Complex.
Where the concept was, if you haven't seen it,
We were ranking the worst JZ songs in an NCAA-style bracket.
Now, let's be clear.
It took a lot of talking from Rory for me to sit down and do this.
I was like, yo, do you know how much of a hater we look like trying to like
really snatch and grab the worst songs from a guy that's literally in a songwriting
Hall of Fame?
That's like grabbing Michael Jordan's like worst plays and worst shots of his career.
I'm sure it's on YouTube.
I'm sure there's copulation.
Those haters everywhere.
Hayter going to find you.
He's going to find your flow.
So, yeah, it took Rory to be like, yo, listen, man, I don't know.
I was like, bro, I'm not sitting on no platform talking about, yo, J's, this song was terrible.
Like, that's family.
Like, it is what it is.
I'm biased.
That's family.
I'm supposed to be.
Yes.
Well, I was on board once he was okay with it.
It still took some time.
I was like, wait, because he's like beat out.
I was like, nah, talk to Hove.
She said it's all good.
You know what I'm saying?
You got to have fun.
Don't take yourself too serious.
Yeah.
Sounds like exactly what Hove would say.
But still, I was like, all right, man.
And let's just make sure because I don't want this to come out.
But he'd be like, damn, y'all sat there and really like pointed out my flaws, like, for an hour.
But I don't think he's that sense.
No, he's ever gone.
He's not.
It was all good.
But we walked in and we went to do the brackets.
And we saw the brackets and we saw the songs.
It was some songs that we were surprised more on there.
Shout to Complex, but the Empire State of Mind should blew my mind.
Empire State of Mind being one of Complex because we're going to put it on, I'm not even put it on B.D.
I'm putting it on Complex.
Yeah.
Complex.
For y'all to say that Empire State of Mind of one of Jay's worst songs, that's literally his first number one record.
Like, how could that be one of his worst?
They got show me what you got on there.
And you guys can watch it, but there was some egregious things on there.
And then their social team set me up.
They put out a social clip where we were talking about.
Our publisher, Simone, shout out Simone.
She called us on FaceTime this morning.
And she was like, yo, what the fuck is going?
I didn't know what was going on.
I was just waking up.
Okay, so I was getting killed because Complex put out a social clip.
And mind you, I watched the entire thing first.
So I didn't particularly care to just retweet whatever, because I watched it already and I was fine with how it came out.
I thought it was a great piece.
So what I thought was them putting out the link for the full shit, they also put a social clip there.
I retweeted it.
And in it, it's me comparing, show me what you got in BBC.
And then it cuts to me going, I mean, both of these are awful.
Which was from a completely different.
second of it and they just pieced it together to make me look like that.
So I got killed for it and I didn't care.
I was laughing.
So I hit BDOT and they were going to fix it.
And I leaned into the narrative to add more spice to it.
And I guess they weren't.
You took a quote from the great Liam Neeson.
Is that his name?
Yeah.
Liam Neeson.
Yes.
His only quote taken in every movie.
I'll find you and I will kill you.
Yeah.
So then I got a call from BDOT yesterday of saying, please take that down.
The complex producers are really mad.
I was like, well, I'm mad too.
Yeah, Simone called me.
She was like, oh, man, they think that, you know, he's really upset.
I'm like, I was leaning into the jokes, man.
They don't know Rory.
Like, Rory is not upset about that.
Do not at all.
Yeah.
But it was fun.
And it was good timing because the same day the Pushyty and Jay Z record came out.
Yeah.
Which, I believe, Ma'all, you Aynard?
Or that was you and Farrell?
I wish.
I wish me and Farrell would work together one day.
But no, I was a happy.
fan when it dropped
I guess
Hovane sent me it early
like he sent me an hour before it dropped
I mean
I was in say less
yeah
and Hovane was at another table
and he texted it to me
at like 1145
I looked over at Hovane
from the other side of the room
I said Hovane it comes out in 15 minutes
I was like I was like
I was like okay I thought that this was something
that was coming out like in a couple weeks
but Hovane usually has the early shit
that's why I just laughed for sure
He had that shit early.
And I was just like, I thought I said, I said, though, it's like 1150.
I'm like, okay, Oven.
Like, this literally comes out in 15 minutes, but okay, it's all good.
But needless to say, the record came out.
And it sounded exactly what I expect a pushy T, JZ, Ferell record in 2022 to sound like.
Do you think neck and wrist do lie, though?
Well, it depends on who is being lied, too.
I've seen a lot of neck and wrists lie.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I mean, you definitely see, you know, guys in the clubs with jewelry that you know is like,
all right, fan.
But in certain circles and certain rooms, they get it off.
So, yes, neck and wrist do lie.
And then you come in with First in the Beach with a Million Dollar audio.
I love that for Farrell.
I felt it was a little disrespectful to Teddy Riley because I think he probably drove down there in a million dollar audio.
Hmm.
But was that for real singing that?
Yeah, that's real. And I'm joking. It's a great hook.
Because at first I thought it was the dream.
No, no, that's real.
100% for a real.
But shit, let's get to it.
Who got who?
It's too early for that, man.
It ain't been a week yet.
Doug, no, I spend 10 minutes, all right.
Nah, it's not been a, you can't do that.
Oh, you don't have to digest it.
I got rap genius right here.
You want to look?
You do have to digest it.
You have to really like, I will say this, though, because we agreed on this.
I hate the fact that Hove gave Phazon love that
attention and that light
and that energy. I hate that.
I can appreciate the bar, but come on. No, the bar
I understand, but it's just like, when you think of, when you remove the bar
and you just think about it, like, why are we giving a Phazon?
You dedicated, your opening bar?
And I remember when Phazon had said that in that interview
years ago that Jay-Z didn't really sell drugs or whatever.
And of course, fucking Vlad does the rewind shit. So it popped back up in my
YouTube shit. And I was like, let me re-watch this.
why did Hope do this?
I kind of see it once
I rewatched that interview.
Faison
was saying that shit
like he grew up in Marcy.
He was like, no, no, no.
He didn't sell drugs.
It was weird. Have you ever met him?
Yeah, it was weird.
I don't know what Faison Love was trying to do with that.
And it's weird because
up until that interview,
I don't think I've ever even seen an interview with Faison Love.
Like at all?
At all.
Like, and so that's why I was looking, but, you know, but even if you're not looking for you, I can see it sometimes, right?
So I'm, I'm looking at it.
I'm like, it felt personal.
I'm like, yo, did Jay diss this dude?
Go rewatch the shit.
He's like screaming, no, at Vlad.
Like, he fucking tried to buy a pack off Jay, and Jay was like, shut.
Yeah, like that.
So that's why I didn't understand.
And I was like, yo, this is literally my first time ever even seeing a phase-on-love interview.
Like, you usually see phase-on-love.
He pops out in a movie every now and in.
I thought you said that.
I feel like the only other video I've ever seen from phase-on-love is when he beat up.
that airport valley.
I see,
I didn't even see that.
See what I'm saying?
He like threw him onto a fucking dude.
But Faison Love is a big dude.
Like if he, you know, he get to tussling,
you got to hit that nigga with a tranquilizer.
You can't, you know me?
They weren't, yeah, hit him with that horse trinkleager.
But yeah, I didn't understand that.
So back when that interview first came out and I saw that,
I thought it was something personally.
I said,
Phazon Love has been around for a while.
I said Jay probably bump into him at a party years ago
and probably, you know, they had a little some words.
I didn't know what that shit was about.
But I don't like, see what I don't like from
phase on love is you can't say that about
Jay and the campaign shit. Like, look, we're talking about Phazon Love
right now. Look at the power, Jay. You played
a guy that was so thirsty
for $200 that he tried to kill two people.
Like, you were the broken drug dealer ever.
Iconic character, though.
Oh, my, fuck. You're talking about Big Perm is an
iconic character. I'm just saying you can't talk
about possibility of someone else
fantasizing drug dealing when you was going crazy over
smoky for $200 fucking dollars.
Yeah, and that made it more awkward.
It's like, because no matter what Faison love does, he has, he was, what was the movie with, uh, was it Ben Stiller?
Oh, a couple's retreat.
No.
Couples Retreat, that wasn't Ben Stiller.
That was, uh, Vince Vaughan.
I like the movie.
And I like Faison in it.
Faison was amazing in that movie.
Amazing.
I felt like he could have, his role in that movie was so dope and so funny.
I felt like they could have had a movie about his character coming off of that.
Listen.
Because him and his girl in that movie, they were just fun.
And just the idea of the divorce guy, just having a find.
the young chick and then try to keep up with her lifestyle to show her that and you're going
like divorce. That's a movie in itself. Classic. So yeah, this interview was always just weird
to me about Faison and him saying that Jay wasn't a drug dealer and that he's lying and that,
you know, De Haven was the real drug dealer and Jay was just watching De Haven. He was sitting
on the bench just watching De Haven sell crack all day. I'm just like, yo.
And first of all, you ever, I've never sold drugs. But I would imagine.
You sold Paloza tickets. That's, that was a drug. That's a drug. There you go.
I, yes, I sold cognac.
Mm-hmm.
I just feel like I wouldn't ask my man who's not a drug deal.
You want to come with me to see me sell this crack?
Like you want to come with?
You're going to come watch me like break the laws?
It's just like, no, I don't.
Yeah, I just, I never understood that.
So Jay dedicating that bar to him right then and there.
And it's really crazy because that interview was so old.
So it's like, oh, you must, you was holding that.
Like, you been, that really fucked.
That really bothered you.
And he dedicated his first line to that.
And it was like, okay, the way he flipped it.
It was dope.
It was all right, cool.
I just don't like the fact that he gave Faison that light.
But whatever.
But the rest of his verse, he goes on to address a lot of other things that he's been hearing over the years.
Obviously, Jay is watching what people are saying on social media about him.
If Big didn't pass away, if Pock didn't pass away,
Hove would never be, you know, who he is.
And this, that there's things that we've all heard about Jay for years that people say to try to discredit his trajectory.
in his career.
It's part of being great.
They're going to always look at, you know, your worst songs like we did.
Right?
You know what I'm saying?
Before we get to the commission bar, he was also addressing some other people I thought
he'd never address.
Like, why reason called astray?
Oh, and he said I wouldn't listen to Reason either?
I text Reese.
I say, yo, you got 24 hours, bro.
That's funny.
I didn't even think about it like that.
I wouldn't listen to Reason either.
Damn, man.
Just for that, everybody go stream Reasons project, man.
Please support Reason, man.
Let's listen to Reason all weekend.
I said, how are you feeling about the whole shot at you?
He said, man, I never would have saw the day.
I said, you go on the humble route or it's on?
He said, it's got to be up.
I got 24 hours.
I said, 99 reasons over the 99 problems beat.
Let's get that shit cooking.
Rapping about 99 reasons to listen to me.
You know how crazy that is?
I'm going to give you 9-9 reasons to listen to me.
All right?
I'm a good person.
sounds like the engineer for that session has to want to blow his head off like bro you know what it is
to keep punching in somebody to try to name reasons on a beat by 86 you're just 86 this 76 this
73 you like a hi fan we this session is over with like who who engineered alphabetical slaughter
for papoos he deserves a yo a grammy who engineered the one blood remix he's still
engineering it he's still mixing he's still in there press it
Play like, all right, man, another one?
Oh, yeah, who else out there?
Is this the DMV?
Why is this line so fucking long?
Oh, man.
I want to know if, like, the engineer from One Blood had to go to, like, therapy after
that.
And the therapist is like, listen.
He never, I know he never listened to that record when it came out.
Listen, man, you got to tell game boundaries.
Tell him about your boundaries.
Bro, that 90s.
This is too much for you.
That One Blood Remix easily the longest remixing.
He'll never see Pro Tools the same ever again.
No.
Single-handedly changed the way Pro Tools is used.
And that was, what, 05, 06?
Pro Tools wasn't Pro Tools the way Pro Tools is Pro Tools.
06, yep.
That would have been rough.
But yeah, neck and wrist don't lie.
So you're asking me who got who.
I think the two verses were two, like they, it was just a pro,
like Jay took his verse and used it to address, you know,
shit that people are saying about him and shit that he's, you know,
basically letting us know, like, I'm not on.
on social media, but that don't mean I don't see shit.
Yeah.
Well, I'm not on social media, but I am on social media
because I see everything. I hear everything.
I see what y'all saying about me.
And Pusha used his
verse to single-handedly
crash Cartier's stock.
It's just not my thing.
I mean, listen, I...
See, sometimes I'd be thinking shit, but I'm glad
when rappers say it, because I would
almost look like a hater if I say certain
shit that rappers could say.
Oh, for sure. It sounds better on a beat.
I'm a podcast.
Yeah, I can't talk about jewelry.
and cars and all of the shit that rappers can talk about
because I'm just a podcaster.
Listen, I've always said I'm so jealous of rappers
that get in relationship disputes
because they can go and rap about it
and everything you say about relationship shit
sounds better on a song.
If I wouldn't said that to you,
you'd probably smack me in my face.
Right.
So I love the bar because I've always thought about that.
I never understood that.
Like, why are people busing down Cartier watches?
Like, first of all, I don't even think people, you know, know,
about jewelry.
When you put all of those diamonds
and you're drilling into the actual watch,
which is now devaluing the watch
because you have to drill into the watch.
Cardiade watch is,
I don't want to sound like one of those guys,
but it's not super expensive.
If you have a decent job,
you can afford a cardio,
a regular Cartiery watch.
Busting it down is just like you trying to,
it's like the homie said,
it's like you put in tents
and rims on a Honda.
It's a Honda, good car.
Serviceable, we'll get you where you need to go
last long.
It's not Bustin John and Michael Corr's watch.
Right.
It's like, it's Cartier.
It's like, okay,
but it's like busing down a Cardiardia watch is kind of weird like well i don't know why you would
do that but okay whatever teachers on um so i love the fact that pusher got that off it's called neck
and wrist don't lie so it's like let's just address all of this shit um it's opening bar was
you're supposed to put the first 500 in the safe and lose a combination fly talk slick talk i get it
leave that 500 i don't even i can't even get to that i won't have to break that safe if it ever came
down to me having to use that 500 000
But then you get robbed and then you don't have the combination
and then they think you bullshit and then you get killed.
Oh, you saw a pain and a full too.
Yeah.
Got you.
Well, he survived.
But no, I fucked with push his shit.
The eco-friendly jewelers keep recycling bar, I thought was ill.
I don't understand why Richard Pryor had to catch that.
Like, he lit himself on fire, man.
Be a little more sensitive.
He didn't.
That birthed your coat career?
No, he didn't light himself on fire.
I think that he was in a, the story was he was in a crack house.
It's cooking base.
And, you know, it was an accident and, you know, he set himself on fire.
And, you know, legendary iconic part of Richard Pryor's, you know, career in life.
But I like the fact that, you know, Puscher goes back and grabs those type of moments and talks about him because it's like, it's connecting a bridge.
Yeah.
And it's a fly bar.
You know what I mean?
Like Pusha's verse was crazy.
We spoke about it.
I think Hose's verse nearly.
I would have liked it to be a longer.
It's got more of the shit that raises your ear
because he's saying names and addressing shit.
That's really what it is.
Exactly.
But I want a hose verse that we just,
maybe another eight.
Not even crazy.
I felt both of their verses were too short,
but yeah, that's just me.
The commission shit,
that was painful to hear because it sucks.
It's like, you know,
you start thinking about all of that shit
that could have happened
and was in talks to happen
and, you know, it didn't happen.
And it's like, damn, man.
Just a J and big album.
Charlie.
And Charlie.
It's just...
So many moments I feel like we were robbed of, man.
You know what I'm saying?
In the culture.
But, yeah, this record, again,
it's just another dope record
to the collection of Pusha T and Farrell and Jay.
And I would like to hear more from them, honestly.
I mean, I love drug deals anonymous.
Yeah.
I could see them doing a little...
That's what I like...
Yeah, like I need to...
Just give us seven or eight of those.
Yeah, but I don't know if I just want Jay only talking coke shit
because that's where he'd get conned into.
No, no, but he don't got to talk coke shit.
Now he could talk, you know, because, again, it's hustling, right?
So now he could talk, you know, Twitter shit.
He can talk, oh, square, was it, Squarespace?
Yes, is that what it's called?
SquareSpace, yeah.
And Hove would square, oh, he would go crazy with Squarespace.
You know what I'm saying?
So it all ties in, man, title and Squarespace and Twitter and.
I wish I know other rapper has gotten that.
The Kaliva brother selling weed and, you know, he can get into it.
It's so many, it's still there because now we're just talking about monogram and selling weed, right?
It's still a hustle.
Yeah.
It's still.
It's not classified as a felony anymore.
It's not a drug.
What about Hovon, NFTs?
Well, he's got to talk a thing about that one.
And Biggs.
I'm sorry, guys.
I apologize.
I know you're in litigation more.
I'm not in anything, man.
I mean, listen, man.
I just be sitting back read and shit and just be like,
I don't even know anymore what's happening in the world,
but, like, it's just so much shit every day that comes up
and you're just like, the Lakers didn't make the playoffs.
My world is upside down right now.
I don't even care.
I don't give a fuck about what's going on in the world, man.
But, um, you guys got any two artists that you would want to put together
an album or a special project?
Of course.
Right now, I would love to hear,
I still want to hear
A. Boogie and
Don Q. I still want a full album
and project from them too.
You can make your own playlist now.
Well, yeah, I'm talking about like music with Axis.
Because I always said if A. Bugie
EP's the project. Right?
And Don just getting his bars off.
A. Buggy's doing hooks, melodies,
you know, that type of shit really making it sense.
I think that could be a really, really
dope project.
I mean, I know it'll never happen now, but the Cohen-Kentric joint I was always waiting
for.
Oh, yeah.
But now you're talking about the Titans, though.
You're talking about the- I mean, they were really supposed to do it, but that was when
Section 80 came out and like they were in a different space as far as being superstars.
Section 80.
Wow.
Speaking of drugs, this is the drug cast today, guys.
You ever see Narcos?
Legal drugs.
I did a, my first Patreon live smoke session.
Shout out to
I did it at Aster Club.
Shout out to Matt and Ben.
My guys at Aster Club,
New York City.
Was it lit?
Yeah.
And more ways than one, Edin.
I noticed that people
want to see me fail.
People want to see me
look absolutely fucking stupid.
Of course.
Yeah.
Everybody's stupid
and you're just good
at not looking stupid.
No,
but everybody in the chat
was like,
get blasted.
We want to see you.
We want to see you look crazy.
And I'm like,
why don't people want to see me
sit here?
here get high and look absolutely fucking stupid.
So we can humanize you.
Yeah, you're too cool.
You're not relatable.
I promise you, I'm human.
I'm human.
But it was just like, I don't want to be sick because now if I get too high, I'm not going
to be talking to the chat.
Are you kidding me?
I can't read this shit when I'm high.
You weren't at one point.
Yeah, bro, I was high.
It was dope.
It was, you know, because like I said, going to Ask the Club and Johnny Nunes was there.
Shout out to my guy, Johnny Nunes.
I didn't even know he was going to be there.
So it was cool to just sit there, watch the, you know, people come in and out of Aster Club.
and chill and smoke.
And when I decided to do the smoke session,
I was like, let me do a real.
I didn't want to sit home and, you know,
it's like I could have done that.
But I was like, let me go to ask the club
and really smoke,
show some people some of the strains that they have.
Strain after strain, after strain.
It was, you know.
People were coming at you for the half-house.
He should have been the third-verse.
I would have made the record a little long.
It would have been neck-risk hips.
I'm part of the Cleveland brothers.
That was his therapy.
I mean, that was very funny.
He said what?
I won't forget it.
What do he say?
Just forget it.
It doesn't matter.
Just know it was very funny.
Very, very funny.
So, yeah, I did my first Patreon live smoke session.
That might be the name of the episode.
I didn't even hear what he said.
Now I'm mad.
I hate that.
I want to get Johnny News on the podcast.
I've talked to him about it.
He's down.
Oh, no, he's down.
He's definitely down.
100%.
So, yeah, Johnny was there.
Shout to my man, D.D.D.
came through my man, Scotch, Davis.
I was just me and Bayes on mine.
Why you get the cooler live?
The smoke session and all this cool shit.
They threw it some brown.
on me.
It was like, get some tacos.
And you're Irish.
So that should have been Edens' patron.
Even though he's not Mexican.
He's Mexican.
Yeah, it's just like, it's like, you know,
it's this Eddins lane right there.
Why did they put you in a sombrero with a taco, man?
It just felt lazy like nobody cared to come up with a cool idea for me.
Nah, so, yeah, the smoke session was cool.
I'm thinking about making it a thing just because it was like a cool vibe.
You know, just sitting in there kicking it, smoking, talking to shit.
How many of what did you smoke?
I smoked.
I smoked.
I rolled up.
You showed that one with the resident in the middle.
That was crazy.
Yeah, because Matt and these guys, they were sitting, you know, around.
He was all sitting in there.
And they just sitting there like, no, we get you fucked up tonight.
And I'm like, bro, I got to talk to these people in the chat.
I can't get but so high.
Like, I can't even feel my fucking tongue in my mouth after a while.
Your fucking whole face gets heavy.
So I'm sitting there high as fuck.
They rolling up hash holes.
Yeah, what is a hash hole?
So it's like a, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's a j that they roll.
and they put like
They got like the hash
You know the Razzing inside of it
I think and then it's like a hole
Through the whole shit
So literally when you're hitting it
It's just some crazy
Don't fuck with this type of shit
If you're not a real smoker
Like leave that alone
Just smoke a regular J or blunt
Whatever you smoke
But yeah it was cool
Smoking will always grow
And become crazier
Because when you're high as fuck
You come up with weird ideas
You just try to find a different way
To get high
It'll always recycle itself
Because we're gonna get high
And think of other ways
At one point I had to ask him, I said, bro, how high are we trying to get?
Because I'm smoking, we smoking some crazy gas.
I'm talking about the best of the best.
And every time I turn around, it's like five J's going.
And I'm like, bro, I got to sit here and talk to people.
I can't keep smoking this shit.
Actually, you know, my boy didn't believe that vegan weed was a thing.
And I did I for a second until I looked it up.
Shout out the cash tree, grandma's cookies and cookie dough.
It's vegan.
They don't use no animal.
Like edibles or like actual strain?
It's actually flowers.
It's wheat.
So they don't use like manure.
When you grow wheat, you use bat dropping.
You use bat shit into fertilize the soil and everything that you're using to grow.
They don't use any animal, nothing.
It's all vegan.
I figured if I'm going to be vegan, I got to go all the way.
Even the weed has to be vegan.
Shout out to cash tree, grandma's cookies, cookie dough.
A bunch of strains we smoke.
What's he way cooler than like drinking?
Let's throw ping pong balls into cups.
The way we try to find new ways to get.
fucked up, it's terrible. It's awful.
Yeah, man. I mean...
Oh, let's all get in the line and flip the cup over when you're done drinking.
Well, you know, the cannabis culture is a real culture.
Yeah. You know what I mean? Like alcohol, it's a culture there.
There's... There'll be whiskey or wine. Like, if you take it serious. But that culture, when you do it
is not to get fucked up. It's a tasting. Right. Like, the wine culture is a real thing.
It's a real thing. It's an art to it. It's a science to it. It's all of that. It's a real thing.
It's not guzzling moscato. Exactly. You know what I mean? So it's like it's culture there.
But for cannabis,
It's more of a delicate, real, if you're really into the culture of cannabis.
You know what I'm saying?
So shout out to Astor Club.
Thank you for allowing me to have a smoke session there.
And hopefully.
Oh, actually, too, Rory, they sent you a.
Oh, I can get high.
It smells like weed.
I got to be honest.
Well, I told you, I smoked the one with our logo on it and only made it halfway through.
Mydash shirt.
Wow, look at that.
That looks like Rory's color.
And going through all the boxes.
And it's long sleeve?
Oh, this is super hard.
And going through the box.
at the crib, I found a
hoodie that Conway sent both of us
I had to give you enough. So
you know what I'm saying? I'm still going through boxes. I'm like, oh,
this is Roros too. So
shout out to Conway, shout out to Ashta Club. Matt
and Ben, thank you once again.
And 420 is coming up soon.
So follow the Ashter Club, NYC. They got some crazy
shit going off for 420. I think we should all go.
Even if y'all don't smoke, I think it's going to be some
cool shit to go to.
Who are some of y'all big, like, or some of y'all
favorite, like, weed smoking rappers?
I'm sorry, Snoop.
Obviously, Wiz.
Are you kidding me?
Have you seen that guy lately?
I'm Roy.
Oh, you see me.
I'm happy that my voice is gone today.
Because she wouldn't even shit up with the rain.
I got to look, man.
You gotta laugh at yourself.
Fuck it is what it is.
Yeah, obviously whiz, currency.
Shout out the spitter.
School boy.
Schoolboy Q.
Who else, man?
I think schoolboy just dropped.
Snoop.
We can't, come on.
You can't talk about smoking and not see Snoop.
Snoop, obviously.
Method Man, I guess, would be considered.
Methadman, Red Man, How High is obviously a, you know, a big part of the high culture.
Yeah, man.
Weed rappers, because I never really related to the content like that because I wasn't really a weed smoker like that.
But weed smokers pick the best beats.
So no matter what, I can listen to anything they do.
Because you can't hear shit.
Like if you smoke the right shit, your ears go numb.
You can't hear that shit.
But I think they pick great beats.
Yeah, like you feel it.
You just feel the bass and that's the-
You feel the drum.
You're like, okay, yeah, I could, that right there, I got a flow for that.
But, yeah, those are the ones.
Smoke Dezer.
I always shout out to my brother, smoke.
Their album comes out, him and, Chris and Wiz tomorrow, or today, if you're hearing this.
Yeah.
Another joint, schoolboy Q.
Right.
For sure.
I think soccer dad.
There you go.
Yeah, soccer dad drop.
I like growth, man.
Shout out to School Boy Q.
This shit.
Who produces this, Enki?
Look it up.
We are using this just to show love to School Boy Q.
This is a soccer dad
Soccer dad
In context
I assume that his daughter
loves soccer
So he takes his daughter
As a responsible father
And he probably drives a minivan
He probably drives him
He probably drives him
I can see schoolboy do it
Yeah I can see him drive
The minivan
Like and only because of like
The safety rating
I can see schoolboy at the like
What's your safety rating?
Wear the rear airbags
This shit is hard
Schoolboy keep a record man
And I understand
Kendrick is the star
I get it
But just pay more attention
I'm watching the schoolboy cue, man.
He puts out dope projects.
He always got a dope song out.
You know what I mean?
He ain't trying to be nobody else.
He's doing his thing.
He's looking like himself, sounding like itself.
It takes his time.
We got to support more, yeah, it takes his time.
We got to support more artists that do that,
especially being in the camp where there's such superstars.
I take this came out the same day as neck and wrist.
I think this is the better record that came out.
Ooh, on Wednesday whenever it came out.
You know, I'm not mad at that.
But on top of that, when I heard this,
I was like, that'd be ill if push your T.
remix this because he also has a child now.
And that that beat is set up for pusher.
That's a, that's a pusher beat for sure.
I'm not, I'm not mad at that, though.
I'm not mad at that.
I'm not mad at this being a better, better song.
I mean, he had to have to reason.
He got fucking buried.
Yeah, he had to do something for TV.
Somebody had to fight back reason.
Top was like school.
What's in the hard drive?
Soccer dad.
All right.
We're sitting out right now.
Shout out the school board Q soccer dad.
Go stream that.
But you have him, because we've,
though we're on the same side of it,
have constantly in New York had the Rocky verse Ferg debate.
Whereas Ferg is a star, but I personally, just my personal say is I don't dislike
Rocky's music at all.
I just think Ferg makes better records.
Ferg, I'm with you.
You can say Rocky may make better projects, but when it comes down to like...
Yeah, songs.
If you go in song for song, I don't know if Ferg is losing that.
Yeah, even with his features and shit like that, like Ferg, again, he's another one that
I don't think people pay enough attention to people obviously know ASAP Furg and they fuck
with him. But I don't think that enough people do. I think that, you know, for the amount of
records that he always keeps out, features, his projects, his style. Timeless hits, too.
The FERC set at parties still go. Yeah. I mean, I think he deserves, he deserves just more attention.
He deserves more praise and more flowers, if you will. So yeah, shout out to Aesad Ferd.
Shout out to Rocky. Rock, he's obviously the star. He's obviously the fucking.
It's tough when your man gets Rihanna pregnant.
Like, how you can see with that?
Yeah.
And Ferg has a beautiful relationship, him and this girl.
Like, you know, he's...
Actually, I take that back.
I do know, Furt.
Yeah.
Beautiful relationship.
But, yeah, man, I just like...
I just like when artists are...
When they man is like the superstar.
But then they stay in their lane and they stay consistent and they do what they do.
Like, I respect that.
It's like because obviously Rocky cover of Vogue and all the shit.
He's a fucking superstar.
And the same with schoolboy and Kendrick.
Yeah.
Kendrick is
Kendrick.
You know what I mean?
It is what it is.
But I'm still over here doing this, though.
And I respect when the artists do that.
So shout out to schoolwork, Hugh.
Shout out to ASAP FERG.
Speaking of a moscato,
does anyone remember when,
we don't talk about this enough,
when Drake brought Mascados status up for like two weeks?
Oh, yeah.
Remember that Lucy after so far gone?
He's clap, clap, Bravo.
Something, something in a glass of moscato.
Like lobster.
Lops.
Strip.
I don't remember.
He was rapping like that.
I like that record.
Did he do more for Mascado
than Usher did for Petron?
I think Petron was kind of right
without Usher.
Because my Usher said take a shot
of this here, Batron, and it's going to be on.
I swear to God, I never,
nobody was drinking Petron before that.
I think Drake did more when he said,
pour the P.A. Trone.
Yeah, no, he hurt them with that.
He hurt them with that.
He didn't really, he didn't help the trajectory of Patron.
You know, I didn't even get the ball
when I first, I think that was on comeback season.
I was like,
Like, wait, pH.
Oh, he's saying Petron.
Yes, exactly.
That's why he hurt them
because they didn't know
what the fuck he was talking about.
But when that record came out,
I was on campus at that time.
And when I say,
every girl went from drinking
fucking the jungle juice shit
to like getting the $6 barefoot
muskado and like trying to like look cute.
I'm like, that's not the moscato.
He was referring.
I promise you.
That $6 shit was not what he was clapping for.
That ain't it.
There was no problem.
There was no problem.
There was no.
Like, yo, you're in the house
and somebody bringing a bottle of moscato
or somebody's like, yo, it's here.
Now the party is, I'm like,
oh fam, get that bullshit bottle out of here,
man, nobody drinking that shit.
It was one moscato that I did.
Like, I think it was called,
I don't even know if it was,
it's called sweet bitch.
Sweet bitch.
I mean, that's what it tastes like to me,
a moscato.
I think that was a moscato.
It's called sweet bitch.
It was a,
sweet bitch,
Muscada rosé.
It's a moscato, right?
It's $8 a bottle.
And they was guzzling that shit,
like,
I'm pretty sure that's a dessert wine.
Like you drink a little.
And you guzzling the whole.
I don't know where I was after when I first had that sweet bitch
Mascado.
But I definitely felt like a sweet bitch after I drink half of that bottle.
I was like, all right, fam, it's time to go home.
Listen, man.
Because I don't know where this night is headed, but I need to be in the house.
White girl Rose.
I've felt like I transitioned after a couple, couple glasses.
You felt like you did what?
Transitioned.
Just a little bit.
Start me like, oh, you guys are my best friends.
See, that's why I don't drink, man, because we don't do.
that to you. We don't have you.
It don't make you a white woman? No. It would never make me feel like a white woman. Nah,
I'm going to just chill out, zone out, float, get a good body high and I'm not bothering
nobody. Wine, you falling over, you're throwing up, you got a headache the next day. All the
real thoughts come out. Yeah, it's like, oh, who wants that feeling? That is the nastiest,
that hangover is the nastiest feeling in the world. I feel you. Um, but more music is coming
out today, uh, Friday if you're listening. Yes, Ed and give it to us, please. Let's see, let's see.
Okay, so Bible from 5-0-4, it's going to be coming out.
Fobby.
They put in parentheses, they put exact date to be, but they're mentioning,
Ramona Park broke my heart from Vince Staples.
Okay, so new Vince.
Shit already.
I'm still bumping the Vince Staples.
Yeah.
Vince working.
Sunset, Visionary, Volume 2, Tom the Mailman, Broken Hearts Club, S-Y-D, or Sid.
All bullshit aside.
Sid, Pinnama?
Oh, tomorrow.
What's the name of her album?
Broken Hearts Club.
I like that.
Oh,
I like the name of that.
Yeah,
I like the name of that right.
Sid is going to bury you.
Broken Hearts Club.
Bary you bitches.
Sit,
you can talk it from a woman's point of view
about all the foul shit
they've been doing at us.
Exactly.
Yeah, I got to,
I definitely got to download that project.
All bullshit aside,
gunplay,
last one's left,
42, Doug in ESTG.
I'm,
you said gunplay?
Gunplay?
Gun play.
I love gunplay, man.
All bullshit aside.
You got to, like,
you know,
stop after you name the artist
in the album,
yeah,
because I need to like understand
what you're saying.
It sounds like one, it sounds like we all the world.
One sentence, we all the world.
It's how you name it everybody that was like one bleak remix.
The fuck is going on, man.
So Gunplay has an album coming.
What's the name of it?
All bullshit aside.
Fuck with Gunplay.
I always thought he was a star.
Always.
Forty two Doug, ESTG, last one's left.
Definitely.
See, that's the type of, you know Carl shot all those visuals.
He loved a good drill video.
That sounds like it's going to be a great, like, gym workout, like, out.
Nothing says workout like ESTG and 42 Doug.
Either you're going to work out or go air out.
That's the soundtrack though.
Please just do some mesh up.
Get all that anger out on the treadmill.
Yeah, yeah.
Stay in the gym, not on the block.
DCG Brothers, Jungle Life.
Girl Talk, Wiz Khalifa, Big Creek, and Smoke Dizzy.
Full court press.
Full court press.
Full court press.
Shout out to Dizzy.
Shout out to Wiz.
Shout out to.
Who else is on that joke?
Critt.
Girl Top.
Big Crit.
I saw Crit was on Smoke's podcast.
Shout out to Big Crit.
You got Young Lean, Star Dust.
You got Coil-Leray, Trendsetter.
All right.
I'm going to put it out there already.
I think I'm going to end up liking that album.
Coil-Loree?
And I think it's going to be my guilt.
Like, the way Doja Cat was my guilty pleasure,
I think I might really fuck with this album.
Like, I really think this is going to be ill.
I saw, I was that when we went to London's,
birthday party in,
in L.A., me and St. John.
Did he press you?
No.
Press me.
Great, great guy.
Corey Leray was there.
She was sitting, like, on the other side of us.
Did she press you?
No.
You know how you can just see somebody?
Like, she's really,
she's really enjoying, like, herself.
She should.
And enjoying, like, these moments and having fun.
Like, you could just tell when somebody has that personality,
like, they're just really happy,
having fun, having a good time,
enjoying it all.
It's dope to see artists, like, in that early stage where the industry hasn't, like, really, like, affected them in a negative way yet.
And they just, like, just love everything about the moment.
So shout out to the Corley, I definitely want to hear what she cooked up with this project.
I'm excited.
The features on there are crazy.
Yeah.
Plus, I just want Benzino unblock me on Twitter, man.
Oh, you blocked?
Why do you block you?
He probably blocked me, too.
I said some bullshit.
I said some bullshit to him, too, one day.
It wasn't he, but it wasn't just me.
He had to block like 10,000 people.
So it wasn't just me because it was like, it was the episode, I think he did something on loving hip hop.
And I think he was working out.
He did a lot.
No, but this was like, like the Twitter had their way this episode.
I think he was doing something.
And I don't know if he was working out.
Excuse me, if he was working out or something.
And it was like, yeah, they was like, yo, his shoulders and his neck is mad.
Like it's not something at the end of saying, we all just laughed at it.
And then it was like a picture of a water bottle where the top was like squished.
down and they was like
this is Benzino and we all retweeted
it and laughed at it and just
it's like Benzino we ain't it's not no real
we fuck with you bro it was just a funny moment
man I think I might be blocked from the two because I had
fun with that joke as well well my name is
during love of hip hop as well and someone had tweeted
why does Benzino have tattooed
tears and then I retweeted it and said because
he killed the source and
oh he blocked you
I thought it was a quality joke
you deserve to be blocked
Benzino got the last last man yeah you deserve to
He got Benzino got the last.
No, I can't see Benzino's page.
Mind you, no one even added him.
Like, he was searching.
Yeah, I didn't add him.
And I don't even know his Twitter at the time.
He just was talking shit.
But anyway, shout out to Benzino, man.
Shout out to the sauce.
Wow, that was a funny joke.
I thought it was great.
That's a liar.
But yeah, people, you know, they read shit.
They search their name and they just think people talking shit and hate them.
Like, we don't hate you, Benzino.
So, love.
Was that it for the list, at least for, I guess,
called mainstream bullshit.
Billy Woods and the preservation.
Billy.
Ethiopes?
I have no idea who Billy Woods is.
That's fine.
Is he a black man?
Did you say Ethiopes?
Aethiops?
I can't pronounce it.
Is he a black man?
Is Billy Woods a black man?
I can tell you right now.
Hold on.
He's not on the...
He's not...
Oh, he has one of those albums
where he's just using art for the cover.
Billy Woods is.
If he's white and has an album called Ethiopes.
A black man.
He's a black man?
God damn it.
Go download the album.
Is it Ethiopian?
Ethiopian?
Ethiopes.
Yeah.
Sounds like atheos.
What is he doing?
What is Billy doing here?
Trying to figure out.
Find out today.
I don't know.
What vibes?
Is he given us atheists vibes?
Is he given us...
What is it, Atheob?
Is an American rapper based in New York?
Born from Washington, D.C., so what does that tell you?
I just guessed that, by the way.
I said he's from D.C.
I said he's from D.C.
I don't even know he's Ethiopian.
But how do we know he's Ethiopian?
Because he pronounced the album type of wrong.
It's not even Ethiopian.
It's a good Google search.
What's his name?
Billy Eilish?
Billy Eilish.
Billy Woods.
Also, the founder of record label Backwood's Studios.
I am going to check his shit out.
We just, we just, Billy Woods.
What is it, Ethiopes?
Aethiopes.
Aethe, H-I-O-P-E-S.
Excuse me, Edith.
Are you speaking what?
A-E-T-H-I-O-P-E-S.
There you go.
I mean, I like on his, all his other, uh, what is an album?
He has great album artwork.
E-T-O-W-E-O-W.
Well, if you listen to the album, I'll probably break it down.
Right.
I'm going to listen to a track one.
You'll know right there.
I just want to know what I'm getting myself into.
This is his top song called SpongeBob.
I'm already, I'm on board already.
Same.
Just from the title.
Oh, atheops is, it's atheoph?
Sound like Drew.
Is this Drew's, uh, is this his Sasha Fierce?
Is Sasha?
He sound like Drew, no?
Shout out to Drew.
Shout out to Drew.
All right, well, cool.
Last but not least, mall,
I feel like you haven't seen all the more.
Maybe you both haven't seen it,
but I would love for you to go check out that post
that we just made with all our baby pictures.
Let me see this,
man, let me see this post because y'all hit the chat this morning,
talking about,
send some baby pictures and I don't have many.
I'm actually going to see my mom probably this weekend.
Maybe you get more than that.
She has like a whole tin full of like pictures.
I'm going to take like pictures of pictures.
You know you have to do that now.
Of course.
When are we going to let this excuse?
Not fly anymore.
What's excuse?
Every weekend.
Yeah, I think we'll see my mom this weekend.
Oh, last weekend this weekend.
Every weekend.
Well, I didn't go last weekend.
I think I'm going to go this weekend, though.
What about the weekend before that?
I didn't go.
I was going to go.
I didn't go.
You know what happens when Friday comes?
And I'm like, yo, do I want to go to the airport right now?
It's the worst of you.
I'm with you.
Oh, okay.
And I'm like, I'm not going to live in New York.
So it's like, I got to fly out to go see them.
That makes sense.
Yeah, so this was inspired.
Let me see this post of old baby high school, just dark times in our lives post that Edding came up with.
Facebook inspired me with it.
I woke up and was fucking dying on my bathroom floor.
Look over and see a hundred thirty-three text message.
I was like,
What the fuck?
Yo, what happened?
The chat was going crazy.
And then I was like,
I hope the podcast blew up.
I mean, you know,
it's usually that too.
Rory looks like...
I hope the studio caught on fire.
Rory looks like such the charming young...
Yeah, I looked like I listened...
I came home on time for curfew.
People are seeing the picture right there too.
Look at me, man.
Headphones on earlier.
I've been podding.
You been podded.
You've been potted.
I'm saying?
Come on, man.
What were you listening to?
That was...
If I'm guessing, it was definitely Michael Jackson.
That's all I listened to as a kid.
It was Michael Jackson, Prince.
So I probably was listening to the thrill
or something in this picture
You see Demaris?
D'amaris tried to look like
serious and all that shit
Yeah, it was the real one
You didn't get the job
With your little work blazing on
You can get your fucking LinkedIn photo
To me too many fair
When you get to Carl
Just put the volume up
You don't watch your video on that
All right
This is how we're looking on the fat
Please put this on the video
Like so people can see
Of course, absolutely
Call
He's not done
I was in 11th grade, both, but he's dropping gems.
He's teaching the people.
Wait, that's the freak nasty.
You're welcome.
You're welcome.
Try that one out this weekend.
There you go.
But if you want to see the full version, there's an 11-minute version online.
And you look fucking sick.
I am a child.
You know, you're a grown man.
I was 17 there.
You know that?
That's the Cardinal Hayes sweater?
That was the Cardinal Hayes' sweater.
You being a senior
Julian looks like a little girl.
Yeah, at first I thought it was Demaris
when I was wife at certain.
I was like this doesn't look like to me.
Not only that, it's like a Barbie playhouse behind him.
He could have transitioned.
Listen, that's his prerogative.
True.
This is our accountant.
Check the book.
I know that hat.
That's threw me off too.
So that wife beat into those jeans.
Check the hat, bro.
Check the account.
That one threw me for a loop.
I feel like I don't even know Loyal anymore.
That's why he's got that Sunday.
Benner had blonde bangs.
And he played football.
No, that's not playing football.
That's like your parents did a photo shoot for you.
Yeah, like he's...
That might be a back on the mall.
I got to see the stats.
I got to see the stats.
I know this photo right here.
This is just a look cool.
Yeah, he took that at the mall.
Number seven, quarterback.
That's a Halloween costume.
Yo, Benner.
Peage looks fucking crazy.
And it's a Mike Jones shirt.
It is Mike Jones shirt.
Yo, Pige looks sick.
Benner trying to do.
varsity blues though was the funniest shit this is by far the sickest fucking staff would y'all say like
face wise y'all age well uh not on camera i'm reverse catfish oh you all but yeah in person i'm aging
very well i um i think i age well i don't people still don't believe that i am as old as i am or as
young as i i agree yeah so i do think that i age well i see i see a lot of people from my my school
same grade some younger than me i see them now i'm like why
I'm like fam life hit you and didn't let you get up like nigga it's still you was the man
only yes like bro which I get it you know you have kids and you know you get married and you know
kind of like but you can't I just feel like you can't let yourself completely go right gain weight
we understand that's part of getting old it's hard to keep weight off for you I understand that
you shouldn't be missing teeth well some people don't have dental dental issues yeah but I'm saying
as far as like, you could drink some water,
put some face lotion on and go for a walk.
Yeah, you can.
At minimum.
Exactly.
Just take it, hydrate, exercise, and brush your teeth.
But here's the thing which is so hypocritical.
They all look like this because of the drugs that mall smoke gave to them.
Like a drug dealer being like, damn, what happened to you?
Oh, I don't know.
Maybe the drugs you gave me.
Marijuana has never made me not want to wash my ass, brush my teeth or lotion my body.
You and your family ruined the community, and now you wonder about people have no teeth.
Because all that fucking crack y'all was rapping about.
The U.S. Senate has confirmed President Biden's Supreme Court nominee Katanji Brown, Jackson,
and historic vote that paves the way for her to become the first black woman to serve on the highest court in the nation.
The nominated cleared a key hurdle earlier Thursday when the Senate took a procedural vote to limit debate and break a filibuster.
Kataji Brown Jackson, Katanji Brown Jackson, I'll make sure I'll say her name right, has been confirmed.
as the U.S. Supreme Court's first black female justice after a historic Senate vote.
Round of applause.
Can we get a demaris EEE?
Absolutely.
For Kataji, Katanji Brown Jackson on becoming the first black female justice.
Perfect.
That's dope, man, because they were trying to give her a lot of shit for weeks.
We all was keeping up with that.
And, you know, it's unfortunate the things that qualify.
women because she was obviously qualified for her position in her job.
Even with all her qualifications, she still had so many hurdles to clear.
And I'm just glad that they actually got it done and voted her in.
Do you remember what the count was for her to be voted?
Yay, 53, nay, 47.
Imagine you knew what the public, like the public knew what was the vote for your own job.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
It's tough.
It's tough, man.
You know what I mean?
Like I said, she's definitely qualified.
That's not in question.
But they would, you know, just bringing up all kind of shit
that had nothing to do with.
That they've never brought up with any other person.
With anybody else.
And it's just, it's just, it's just 2022 we talk about.
You know what I'm saying?
So it's just sad that, you know, people of color,
especially black women still have to go through these type of things
just to, you know, do what it is that they are called to do.
Is there anything else we missed?
Probably last thing.
What are you guys going to do this weekend?
I'm sick.
I'm staying.
I know you got your residency back.
He's back at the stumbling.
Back at the stumble in.
The stumble, humble, in.
Yeah.
How you feel to be back, man?
They loved you, they missed you.
It was cool.
It was cool.
You know, we did have someone from...
I see you broke your fader.
Yeah, I broke my fader.
Yeah.
You was in there going hard.
Stop trying to mix.
I know.
You're trying to mix and scratch.
You think you ain't primal.
I melted it off.
You already know.
You know, we had somebody that came out to me.
Is your DJ name Eddie Fast Hands?
I think you should be Eddie Fast Hands.
Because you broke a fader on your first day.
back. Like, come on, only fast hands can break the fader.
You know that. But I'm sorry, go ahead. You were saying what,
Edan? You should be Edward Sissorhands
and DJ with shit.
You don't even see where it's going.
I'm trying to take you there, bro. Like, come on, man.
Fuck with us. You got a DJ with a 40
taped your hand and then scissors
take the other and you got a DJ. And then
have Sizzar come to the stumble in and then make it a
really... So how you're starting?
Because this is your return. Like...
What song did I start with? I feel like you
got to give them... You got to
Give him this on the walk.
Did you go to the bathroom to stumble in before you went on set in?
Like, it's time to go get him.
Absolutely.
Yo, you know how nasty that is to do that?
To look at the mirror before you go and set it be like, yo, it's time.
This one's for the money.
They doubted me.
You know Ed was sitting in that mirror like fucking B-rabbit.
Yo, that is hilarious.
Eddie, you are crazy, bro.
It's okay.
Do you want to spoil some of your set?
Like, have you got it together?
Or it's just you?
You got to get there and feel it.
No, no.
When you're there, Saturday?
I'm warming it up.
Yeah, Saturdays.
Saturday's at the stumbling, man.
I'm going to come see you one week, and I'm not going to tell you when I'm coming, though.
You just stumble in?
Yeah, I'm just stumble in.
Because I feel like if you know I'm coming, you're going to prepare.
You're going to try to get it to like your.
Yeah, like, I want to be in the back and just watch you do you.
Like, all right, he got this shit moving.
He got the room bouncing.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
I don't want you to prepare for it.
I want to just walk in the stumble and the stumble in.
But you know he's going to spot you and then pretend like you didn't in an atmosphere.
Like, y'all didn't even know you was here.
Yeah, like, yo, you're here?
All right.
That was a bad set.
You see when I got it to my...
No, when it was ill.
Like, y'all was, you know.
We can't smoke there, so...
You can't?
No, that's okay.
Okay.
I'm not...
I don't have to smoke, bro.
I don't...
That's not one thing.
I don't have to smoke.
But if I'm going out and I can, I will.
But I'm going to come check you out.
Well, we'll figure it out.
I think I'm going to go down to see my fam.
I know I keep saying it, but...
Yeah, you're going to make it happen.
I think it's the weekend I'm going to go.
I'm going to fly down and go see the fan for a couple of days.
Just chill out, man.
That's about it.
I'm not going to say less.
Yeah, please don't go to see less, man.
Shout out to say less.
Shout out to say less.
Shout out to say less for a few days.
You must really like a spot to be the three nights in a row.
No, I was there three times in two nights.
He was there before the game last night and then we went after the game and then he was there.
Twice and one day.
But I was every time it was someone else's reservation.
I didn't.
No, I get it.
I was invited.
No, I just slammed the business card down.
That's on you.
I did not.
He's a fucking way.
No, I would have got the alert.
I'm like, yo, somebody's to say less going crazy.
They got that steakhouse.
How much chicken fat tie did you get?
Fam, I got that steakhouse alert at three in the morning.
I was like, yo, who's ordering the sides?
The sides didn't fat cure cancer.
They did cure cancer.
I was like $2,300 at the steakhouse or somebody's going crazy on the car?
I mean, those hookers took credit card.
Oh, man.
Do we miss any?
We don't have Demaris for the quick hit gossip.
but
You know, we've had most of the gossip
What kind of gossipy shit do we have?
I mean, the only other, the gossip is it still slap.
Who?
Jada said fuck that.
There you go.
Jada?
Jada?
Who? Think his son?
Oh, what should you do?
Said Will shouldn't have done that.
I don't need protecting.
Reportedly.
They said that Jada said that he went too far.
He went too far.
Well, we know that, Jada.
Thank you.
We knew that when we watched it that night, Jada.
And why every time some good shit around you happens, your ex got to pop up?
August, August, just like, come on, man.
Bro, that's why I don't even want to talk about that because I already, it's like a fucking, it's just, I hate the fact that when it's like a domino effect.
When something happens, people find a way to jump right in line and try to get their shit off.
It's just like, bro, it's okay to sit something out.
Got to put the album.
Sit it out.
Just relax, bro.
We don't need, because, you know, people do things now for the moment.
And then they forget that, yo, this moment is going to be over.
It's too shot fast.
And then what?
Now you're sitting here looking like you did something to chase a moment, to chase momentum.
Yeah, you got to go on the next one.
And it's, yeah, but it's like you look fucking crazy, bro.
Like, just stop, man.
Like, yes, Will Smith was wrong.
He shouldn't have did that.
He shouldn't put his hands on Chris Rock.
He could have just told Chris Rock to keep his wife's name on his mouth.
He didn't have to hit him.
We know that.
Jada, you know, part of being a black woman, you know, it's your job to protect the black man.
And that's the part that people forget in all of this.
Like, it was Jada's job to stop Will from going up there.
Even sometimes if you got to laugh some shit off that offended you and wait till you get in privacy of your vehicle on the way home or in your house
and say, yo, listen, I wasn't feeling that.
You know, reach out to Chris and let him know that was wrong.
Whatever.
It's not like Will Smith can't get in touch with Chris Rock on a personal note.
But, you know, again, everybody was talking about, you know, black men have to protect black women.
Yes.
But black women also have to protect black men.
And I feel like in that instance, and I don't think that Jada had any feeling that Will was going to go up there and put hands on Chris Rock.
I'm not going to say that.
But I think that she could have done something.
You know what I mean?
Just something.
I'm not saying she could have stopped that.
You know, I think that she could have done something.
You know what I'm saying?
Whatever that may be.
You know what I'm saying?
I got respect for all of them.
I grew up watching them fans of their work and their art and their craft.
But this was just a moment that, you know,
it was unfortunate and it shouldn't happen.
So I just hope that it stopped soon because it's just too much at this point.
Some more gossipy news.
Cardi B quit social media over Grammy's backlash.
What was her Grammy's backlash?
Well, people were saying things because she,
uh,
she tweeted something about the Grammy's.
I don't really know the full story.
But she says, I'm deleting my Twitter, but on God, I hate this fucking dumbass fan base.
You got the slow dumb asses dragging my kids all because y'all thought I was going.
So her fans thought she was going to the Grammys.
And she didn't.
So she said, all this because y'all thought I was going to the Grammys and I didn't.
The fuck, when the fuck I hinted I was going.
Just fucking stupid.
I can't.
I need to, needs to protect myself.
I need to protect myself too, Cardi.
I respect that.
Y'all so fucking dumb.
I really don't like y'all.
suck my dick.
Sometimes you've got to get straight to it.
No, listen, I understand.
Sometimes you got to tell your fan base to suck your dick, even when you don't have one.
Despite being one time, this was one of the tweets that somebody tweeted, despite being one-time Grammy winner and having five number ones,
Cardi B is the only female rapper ever to still unable to sell out her shows, and she is the only female rapper in history to send death threats to her own fandom.
She is the only female rapper to do so
I get it, Cardi
I understand sometimes
you got to just go off the grid
detach yourself
but I'm always
a fan of
you don't have to read that shit
like you know
I understand how it affects you
and people saying things
especially when they saw some people
talking about her kids
somebody said they hope her son
or somebody died
it's just we know that people have access
to the internet that it's their goal
to just irritate and frustrate
and upset people
You know, to make you feel as shitty as they feel.
We know that.
And so I understand Cardi, you know, she might be going through, you know, just an emotional time.
And so it's good to detach and, you know, remove yourself from that.
But telling your fans to suck your dick, it's just never a good idea.
Well, specific fans, when they do some bullshit, you can tell that.
Yeah, but I think that Cardi is, she's on a whole other level.
She doesn't need to be telling fans to suck her dick.
I mean, it's on brand, though.
It is on brand.
For Cardi?
Yeah.
Yeah, but she's she's elevated.
She's definitely evolved as a woman, as a person, as a human.
Like, you know what I mean?
So I feel like, it's just now I get it.
I understand you see things, especially when you start talking about people's kids.
Oh, yeah.
Now all bets is off.
You can say whatever you feel to defend your family.
That's also a lie of that fact that she's the first female rapper to threaten her fans.
Don't come at me.
I'm not one to be playing with.
This was the first female rapper to ever telly the TV.
Baby D was the first one.
Yo, don't play with me.
Yeah.
This ain't what you want.
Shout to dirt.
Shout to baby Dee.
That was her fan.
So, yeah, Cardi B deleted her social media.
She's not on social media.
I'm sure she'll be back and was it 30 days before they completely.
Yeah, it's Cardi.
They'll get it back.
Yeah, it's Cardi.
She can have a count back whenever she wants.
But yeah, man, leave Cardi to fucking alone.
If she didn't want to go to Grammys, she didn't have to.
Like, fans, y'all just, you know, just relax, man.
It's okay.
Like, there'll be more shows that you can see Cardi at.
And definitely stop wishing death on people's children in their family.
Like, I don't understand what some of you are crazy.
Well, whatever.
I think that's it, man.
It is.
I mean, I can't talk.
So for me, it's definitely over.
All right, well.
Sign it off.
Rest this weekend, Rory?
100%.
That's definitely happening.
Yeah, man, get you some tea.
You know what I'm saying?
Get you some herbs.
You be all right.
You tough, right?
No, I'm not.
I'm not at all.
All right, man.
Well, shout out to all the teams that are in the playoffs.
My team isn't.
So I'll go cry for the first round until I realize that it's completely over.
There's two more games, though.
I fucked them two games.
What are you got taking it?
Oh.
Somebody asked me this on the Patreon Live too.
I like Phoenix.
I think if Phoenix can stay healthy, because I feel like if Chris Paul was healthy last year, they would have beat Milwaukee.
But I like Phoenix.
You know, if Steph Curry is healthy, I don't know what that ankle is like.
But if he's healthy, Golden State is tough in the West.
I like as a sleeper, Philly as a sleeper.
I just don't believe in James in the playoffs.
But Embed
is on the fucking
He's on a tear
And I like Maxie
They got some good pieces
Tobias Harris
Where do you piece the Grizzlies in there
Grizzlies is too young
They're too young
That shit ain't going
See in the playoffs
It slow down
Right
You know what I mean
The game slow down
You can't just get up and down
Like you want to
The Warriors were able to do that
Because they have such great shooters
They were able to just get up and down
And run
Speaking of that
Real quick before y'all go
There is a clip of Steph
talking about, well, they were talking about Steph.
Yeah, somebody asked
LeBron.
LeBron was on a new episode of the shop
and he said that
he wants to play with Steph Curry.
Nobody wants to see that.
It's 80s.
You gotta stop.
Yeah, like, let's just be honest.
Bron, I love you, but nobody wants to see you
and Steph Curry on the court together.
Like, that's All-Star Week and cool.
You know, if the All-Star game, great.
Let's let us have it there.
Let's have that moment.
But if you're talking about 82 games,
playoffs for a championship, I don't want to see that.
I'd rather see you
and Steph revisit,
reignite the Cleveland Golden State finals.
You know what I mean?
Like that,
you know,
that was a moment.
That was special.
I don't want to see y'all playing together, though.
But Steph definitely declined that.
He was like,
no, I'm not.
I'm cool.
Like, I don't want to do that.
But I like the Warriors.
Grizzlies is just too young.
Boston,
Williams got hurt.
They're center.
And he was,
he's a big part of that team.
And I think that his injury being out,
I know he's supposed to come back
for the playoffs.
Maybe, maybe not.
I don't know.
But that injury, to me, completely just threw their whole shit off course.
Jason, Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown are obviously, you know, two of the better players in the league, but it's not enough.
I like Marcus Smart, but, you know, we're talking about having to go against Brooklyn, Philly.
Tough.
Miami.
Tough.
You know what I mean?
And, like, that's Milwaukee.
You know what I mean?
Like, I like Milwaukee's chances.
but I just don't think they go back to back.
They're going to be tough, but I'm going to go back to.
So my favorite to win it all is the Phoenix Suns.
Okay.
I think that Phoenix will, I think Chris Paul gets his ring this year.
Hopefully he stays healthy.
I don't know what it is with the playoffs and Chris Ball.
Always gets hurt in the playoffs.
It just doesn't fail.
But I hope this year is totally different because I really want to see Chris Paul get a ring.
So yeah, man.
Ferrell, we out of here?
I am.
Go get you some rest, man.
You know what I'm saying?
He's pushing some tea and shit like that.
Get you some herbs.
You know what I mean?
Eat you some porridge.
Some pussy.
Eat some pussy if you want to.
Do what you're doing.
Anything to get back in the game.
Y'all know how it is.
I know what we do around this time.
I'm that nigga.
He's just ginger.
We'll hollet y'all in a few days.
Y'all be safe.
Have a great weekend.
Peace.
A win.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep.
That's me.
