Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. On the Look Back at it podcast. From 1979, that was a big moment for me. 84 was big to me. I'm Sam J. And I'm Alex English. Each episode, we pick a year, unpack what went down,
Starting point is 00:00:15 and try to make sense of how we survived it. With our friends, fellow comedians, and favorite authors. Like Mark Lamont Hill on the 80s. 84 was a wild year. It was a wild year. I don't think there's a more important year for black people. Listen to look back at it on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. A win is a win.
Starting point is 00:00:35 A win is a win. I don't care what I'm saying. Yep, that's me, Clifford Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, my basketball and college football journey, or my career in sports media. Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifers Show. This is a place for raw, unfilled conversations with athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. So let's get to it. Listen to the Clifford show on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your
Starting point is 00:01:03 podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok podcast network on TikTok. Hey, it's Edwin Castro, also known as Castro 1021. And I'm Conky, his best friend and business manager. And we've got a new show called The 1021 Podcast. I'm taking you behind the scenes on how I became one of Twitch's most popular streamers. We also love sports. And with the World Cup right around the corner, we'll be breaking down the biggest storylines
Starting point is 00:01:32 ahead of the big tournament here in the USA. Listen to the 1021 podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Welcome to another episode of the new Rory and Mall. I guess. Who are you? I'm all. Okay, I'll be Rory today.
Starting point is 00:01:57 And today's my 32nd and a half birthday. Ooh. Wait, half. Yeah. Isn't that six months in? Well, yeah, that would be half, right? 32 and a quarter? Well, I'm 45 and I haven't had solid food in 10 days. Today's meal is brought to you by nobody.
Starting point is 00:02:18 Because I'm not eating. No nutrition. Tell them what you told us. What I'm eating today? No. Today I'm eating steak and potatoes and broccoli, also known as juice. Butter apple juice.
Starting point is 00:02:30 This is butter nut squash. You can't have butter. You're a vegan. It's butter nut squash. So you go, so vegans can have a nut. Well, yes, nuts. Okay. We can eat nuts.
Starting point is 00:02:40 Her juice. Yeah. So yeah, that's what I'm eating today. Fueled by butternut squash today. Mall just informed us that his nut is going to taste amazing because he's been out of juice. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:02:51 This is already off the rails. We were all here. We were all here together when I said what I said. Did I see that? No, he didn't say that. He said his nuts is going to look like buttered and squas. I didn't say that either. DeMara said that.
Starting point is 00:03:02 I said that women have been DM and me saying, I know your nut tastes amazing after doing this juice cleanse. That's what I said, Damaris. I hate that in my nose. I just had a right mal's nut. You all need Jesus. We know Jesus. He's right here.
Starting point is 00:03:17 Tell all the women of your DMs to save some space for the Lord. I will. I've been just sitting, every time they say it, I just send the prayer hands. Like, you know, I don't want to respond to them. You can't respond. I can't respond. You know, that's because.
Starting point is 00:03:29 The prayer hands are a high five, right? The prayer hands are a high five. Well, I don't use those prayer hands. I use the Muslim prayer hands. These. Like this, yes. There you go. Hold your hands out.
Starting point is 00:03:39 Al-A. Al-A. You know what I'm saying? I'd be wanting to use that, but I don't know if I'll piss off like the N. N.O.I. if I do. Oh, you can be Muslim.
Starting point is 00:03:45 White Muslims. Well, J.L.X. said I'm an Irish Muslim, but I'm Catholic. But neither here nor there. Shout out to the N. And to all Muslims. Yes. And shout out to all of our Latinos. Mexicans
Starting point is 00:04:00 Like Eden around the world Back to back To back birthdays for the new Rorya Mall pod My day fourth Edens May 5th Like this is insane Happy birthday bro
Starting point is 00:04:10 Happy birthday Edith Thank you This today celebrates what Like your independence from Texas Or something Like this broke off No Yo
Starting point is 00:04:19 Being independent from Texas is sick Isn't that what happened This is about the Alamo Today's about the Alamo There was a battle What was the battle at What was the Battle of Battle of what?
Starting point is 00:04:29 Battle of Puebla. Battle of Puebla. Actually, black people actually won that battle. The Africans, I believe, slaves that were in Mexico won that battle, actually. They defeated the French. You know what I'm saying? Once again. I like that we can bring ignorance and then clean it up with the facts.
Starting point is 00:04:47 Oh, we know a little bit. We know a little bit about a little bit. Yeah. So happy single de Mayo to all our Latinos around the world. Mexican. Don't say all the Latinos. I mean, they're Latinos. Everyone's celebrating.
Starting point is 00:04:56 Latins celebrate each other. So, well, Mexicans. It's a Mexican holiday. I feel like white people celebrate this more than Mexican people. Yes. Yes. I think black, I think it's a couple of homies from Brooklyn that's celebrating heavy tonight.
Starting point is 00:05:08 Oh, no, they're going crazy at the 40th. They got the flyer. Yeah. So happy single tomorrow. Have fun. Be safe out there today. Yeah. And again, I don't know much about the-
Starting point is 00:05:19 They'll be hearing this tomorrow. What I'm saying, it's like actual Mexicans really like this holiday or this is really just some washed out, Walmart white American things. They celebrate it. It's just, you know, I feel like, again, I've seen more like Cinco the Drinco things more than I say. Well, listen, you know, you know, Mexicans and Mexico don't celebrate it. Only the people in Puebla.
Starting point is 00:05:38 Mexicans are beautiful people, beautiful country. Yes. Everything about Mexico is fucking amazing. Love it. Love my Mexican women. Cartels are a little violent. But other than that, it's a think it's a beautiful country. Love my Mexican people.
Starting point is 00:05:48 Love them. Do you like Mexican women? Love Mexican women? What? You don't think on the seven train, Roosevelt's stuff? No, my, forget it. Y'all know where the Mexican women at. Love my Mexican women.
Starting point is 00:05:57 Shout out to y'all. Yeah, what were we talking about? Because I don't know where we started, where we cut, but I do want to get back to our battle rap conversation. I've been seeing clips of battle rap going around, and battle rappers are apparently using their phones to remember their lyrics now. Ew.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Where is the culture headed? Drake took us there. No, Drake has never battled anybody and pulled out a phone. He read out of flex. They had to pull out of phone at flex. That's different, though. That's a freestyle that you're writing on the way to the studio, maybe. I can understand that.
Starting point is 00:06:27 I'm talking about being at a battle rap that you knew you were going to be at months before. And we're just like, hold on one second. And in the middle of the round, pulling out your phone to read your lyrics. That is insane. Was it part of like a punchline though? No.
Starting point is 00:06:38 Like literally I forgot like, oh shit, let me see where I'm at. Like, because I remember like one time Charlie Clips stumbled. He's like, no, I was just taking you to Google Chrome. I was like, oh, damn, I didn't even know I was going here today. Google Chrome, that's what he at? Which, by the way, it was an ill bar because he did look like he stumbled and then. Yeah. I like when battle rappers do that.
Starting point is 00:06:55 When you think that they stumble. And sometimes some of them are good enough that it wasn't actual stumble, but they know to play it off like, oh, I meant to do that. Yeah. And they get right back into it. But yeah, no, some battle rappers I'm seeing now, somebody was battle rapping, I think Reed Dollars and pulled out his phone. And then I seen somebody battle rapping, I think Jay Mills and pull out their phone
Starting point is 00:07:14 and was reading lyrics. Like, I don't know. It's just weird, weird shit going on, man. I just love how the taglines of battle rap, how, like, the same way I feel for rappers now because all the good names, like, were taken already. so they have to come up with like these insane clever names. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:30 The way the tagline has developed in battle rap is hysterical to me. Because like, MOOC back in the day, easy. That was the tagline. Just easy. Yell easy at the end. We'd all yell it together. You yelled easy before? No, I've never been.
Starting point is 00:07:46 Come on. You was at the J-Mills' MOOC battle screaming easy. You was on too fit. I never was at the battle yelling easy. That's just funny, though. Like, seeing Roar, you know, easy at a rap battle. It was like, what are you doing? You're not on stage, man.
Starting point is 00:08:00 Relax. Yo, everyone, if I cannot believe Sirius Jones kept a straight face when he battled Mook. And at the end, when everyone just kept going down on your head, down on your head. I would have started dying laughing. Why is there 45 people behind you going? Oh, no. That was legendary, though. That is a legendary battle.
Starting point is 00:08:18 And Mook is my favorite battle rapper, period. Yeah? Really? Yeah. All time? For sure. Okay. I know they'll kill me.
Starting point is 00:08:24 I'm not. Battle rap. No, that's not a bad. There's a lot of people that have MOOC as their favorite battle rap of all time. Who's your favorite more? My favorite battle rap of all time? Lux.
Starting point is 00:08:40 Mook. Surf. Surf is up there for me, too. Surf might be number two for me. I like Hitman. Him is great. Mook just, I feel like, is the perfect balance of like, because Battlewrap is a show.
Starting point is 00:08:58 It's literally. showmanship like up there it's not head ice too i like head ice bray so yeah as much as i'd love lux i have to watch lux like 15 times to catch everything he said like it's it's much more of a i don't even want to i was not a song but it's much more of like a verse that you have to dissect dissect to get it's not so much a show that you could just watch oh and goods i can't forget goods yeah good's is one of the best ever yeah movie movie has wordplay but also does and I don't mean dumb down but like he just makes it easy to catch everything even if it's complicated you hear every last thing he says it's a fucking talking
Starting point is 00:09:40 performance like MOOC is incredible at performing I love that's why I fuck with moot yeah I like seeing where the battle rap uh where the platform is going like the way it started and where it's at now it's more like uh because I remember even if you go back on youtube and look at some of the early early rap battles, it was like a lot of those, you know, lyrics and those bars were designed for anybody. Yeah. Could have spit those bars in front of anybody. Now they're more tailored to the opponent. Now they're more tailored to the opponent. It's more like spoken word, poetry. Like you said, it's a performance now. You have to add. Disaster is great at performance as well. Outside of one of the
Starting point is 00:10:18 disaster is just performing. One of the best. Yeah. Incredible. But yeah, I don't please, man, I don't know where, you know, I don't even know how that's allowed for battle rappers to plot their phone and read their lyrics, but that, to me, should be an automatic disqualification. Well, ask again, were you ever confused what room Clips was in at the time? No, I was assuming he was in the room that I was watching the battle happening. No, he wasn't. He was in, he named all the kitchen appliances and then asked us if we knew what room he was in. Yeah. I need to read that. I want to read like when he wrote that. Which, by the way, and Clips is, I think, right there with Mook as far as hearing everything, all that shit.
Starting point is 00:10:57 Like, what I just said about Mook, I think Clips does very fucking well. And I love Clips. But that Sirius Jones Clips Battle from whatever summer that was, that even when it was the fucking Lux versus Holo shit. That was just a legendary summer madness. Yeah. I just having Clips walk through an entire house for one round was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Imagine Imagine battling somebody
Starting point is 00:11:26 And they just keep asking you What part of the house day in If I'm Jones I'm like, I know what a living room is Why is this? You're not beating me It was a clever It was a very clever
Starting point is 00:11:38 Very unique way of writing No, it was a really good scheme And no, he smoked that shit He definitely did And it's because how fucking battle rap Has gotten so popular You just run out of fucking schemes
Starting point is 00:11:51 You gotta just come up with shit Right Exactly. Like, Kahn's had to fucking slow it down to make sure that we knew he was dissing him. Imagine telling your opponent, you know, slow it down, I just dished you. Like, no, that's the point of this.
Starting point is 00:12:05 I know you're dissing me. Can we move on? Let's move on. No, the whole point of this is to diss me. I love when they do this, like, when they bring it back, it's like, no, I got it. I don't know if the rest of these niggins understood that ball, but I got it.
Starting point is 00:12:18 You can move forward. No, it's man's in the back making sure the audience. Yo, did you y'all, like, you ain't even get that. No, no, I got it, sir. He can move forward with his bars. So, yeah, man, how was your week? How was your birthday? I saw you guys on... Remember when Moot called Iron Solomon, George Zimmerman, for a whole round? And he had skittles. He had an iced tea.
Starting point is 00:12:39 Battle rap is crazy when you think about it, bro. It's like, this shit is like literally a performance now. Like, you literally have props. You have to have different things. You have to pull people from the back that they didn't even know was home from prison yet. Like, when did this gentleman get out? Like, you got to do it. You got to do. all kind of shit in battle rap now. Listen, man. We think rap is just snitching. Battle rap is the first 48.
Starting point is 00:13:04 The internet is first 48. It's just three rounds of admitting to crimes. I love the culture, man. And even shit, clips, we always talk about Lux's third round, obviously, with hollow. Not Hullo. Lach's third round with Holo. Calico, I'm sorry. That Rex, Clips.
Starting point is 00:13:22 Clips third round, I think, is up there with one of the greatest rounds in battle rap history. Rex versus Rex had called Charlie Clips pops a snitch and went through that old thing and the clips had the craziest rebuttal ever to that entire thing.
Starting point is 00:13:37 But no one ever talks about how Rex started his last round with I was driving around listening to R&B and hip hop. Sounds like a regular day. Yeah, sounds like a regular day. I'm listening to R&B and hip hip.
Starting point is 00:13:52 Yeah. I'm driving around, listen to R&B and hip hop. And that's what sparked to know that clips his pops was a snitch. And I'm not saying he was. I'm just saying how Rex started that round. I was like, wait, what? No, he was paying his day.
Starting point is 00:14:03 He was talking about because Vito brought it up. He said, I'm from a block. Something with Charlie Clips, pops. But just that was one of the funniest things I've ever. And Rex is up there with me to his best battle. Oh, absolutely. I like what battle rap is going with the caffeine app. I like it.
Starting point is 00:14:21 I do think it needs, because now sometimes I don't even know who's battling anymore because everything is on caffeine. It's like you don't know who's dropping unless you have the app, unless you watch it and follow it. It's like, I find out battles happened and came out two months after it happened. I'm like, damn, I didn't even know they battled each other. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:41 But I do love caffeine. Shout out to caffeine. And that whole platform I think is great. I think it's great for the artists. Is daylight in Lux? Happening? Because I followed the daylight. That's my God.
Starting point is 00:14:51 But I can never tell when daylight post something if he's doing. The daylight thing or this is like actual promo for it. No, I think daylight and lux is definitely happening. I think they both already agreed to that. I don't know when. And like I said, now, I'm not sure when because it probably happened already and I don't even know. But no, I would have known about that because that's one of the ones I think the entire battle rap platform is waiting on. I'm going to need the lyrics printed out while I watch it.
Starting point is 00:15:19 Yeah, it's going to be a lot of heavy, heavy. I need to read along. They need a stenographer or somebody on the side to like type those lyrics. Jaylight and Lux. Yeah. That's going to be dope. That's going to be amazing. So yeah, man, how was your birthday?
Starting point is 00:15:32 How was your, uh... It was cool, man. How was the 32 feeling? How's it feeling? It feels the same. Yeah? It feels like yesterday. You sent me a close friend's video.
Starting point is 00:15:43 You tagged me in. Demaris had a baby arm what looked like a baby arm in the frying pan sizzling. And you said, I'm sending this tomorrow. She smoked that baby arm. Baby arm is my new favorite food. It was a, was it?
Starting point is 00:15:54 Tenderloin, was it? Beef Tend. Tenderloin she had in a pan and was making sure that motherfucker was seared nicely on all sides. Listen, I don't... Brown, golden brown all the way down. You know, we can't give Demaris compliments
Starting point is 00:16:07 because her head is already big enough. I'm like so insecure. Like, what are you getting up? Oh, yeah. Insecure people come off very arrogant. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Sure, true, true.
Starting point is 00:16:16 This is the second time Damaris came to my house and cook and I can't... Third. Third. I don't even have the words of this point. I heard you made a vegan pasta for me. Yeah, but,
Starting point is 00:16:26 Then we put butter and cheese in it. Thank you for almost thinking about me. You said you weren't coming. So I threw some butter and some parmesan. It's okay. I appreciate it. But not. She put her foot in everything.
Starting point is 00:16:37 Yeah. The food was incredible. It was cool to kick it. No hose. Sorry. Sometimes that's okay. It's okay. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:16:44 It was purposeful to not have the hose there. Exactly. I was happy. I think a few people came thinking the hose would be there and then we're upset once they arrive. Oh, it was just Rory? I thought this was for the hose. I put Cologne on to come to Rory's up. I went to your 25th birthday.
Starting point is 00:16:57 I'm like, yeah, this is my 30 second. Sorry, aunt. Yeah, yeah. Well, that's good. You had a good time. Yeah, we kicked it. Went to sleep. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:07 I wish it was more climatic, but. What kind of cake did you have? A confetti cake. Nice. And I think there's an ice cream cake still in my freezer. What? And there's some confetti cake left to. Oh, damn, Eddn, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:17:19 Edm was invited and didn't come. He was even in the group chat. So I was lit tonight. And then he just never came. It's lit tonight. I said it was lit tonight. That's my move. We in a chat with people that are going to the same party and I never show up.
Starting point is 00:17:29 I do that all the time, man. Stop still in my moves. Yeah. How far out are y'all? Asking how far out and I'm still in the bed? Like, y'all, where y'all at? I'm not coming over. Do that all the time.
Starting point is 00:17:38 Well, yeah, it was cool. I think today is going to be the day. Yesterday was like the friends and family calm type shit. Uh-huh. I think I might get Lucy Goosey tonight. Yeah? Yeah. Yeah?
Starting point is 00:17:51 Yeah. Yeah. No. No, I wasn't thinking about that at all. Definitely not. I want to go somewhere where there's bitches. Wow. I feel like it's bitches at the time.
Starting point is 00:18:03 It's probably some old suck peanut butter through a straw-ass bitches at the Stumberland. And it's okay for me to say bitches now. We'll get to the A-Sap Rocky song. Exactly. The word bitches is okay again. Yeah, they're just out of date. It's okay.
Starting point is 00:18:14 Rocky bought bitchback. Looking who your moral compass is. I'm right. It's awful. No, I love it. I love it for you. Don't worry about it. So, yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:22 We had a day off We've seen each other a lot this week It feels like Been recording a lot Been recording a lot Been working a lot I don't even know what episodes are coming out when I just can tell by the tweets
Starting point is 00:18:34 Like oh I guess that episode drops Yeah I don't even know And people seem to love the wellness check episode They wanted to make sure They thank DeMaris for Steering it in that direction For real Yes I think
Starting point is 00:18:47 I think a lot of platforms Talk about mental health now Because it's the trendy shit I think people liked it because it was genuine and it wasn't an exploitation of mental health and the people that subscribe to the seriousness of mental health are taking advantage of with a lot of these platforms
Starting point is 00:19:06 I feel like. Yeah. And I think people just connected to us actually really talking about it not saying, hey, you guys should go to therapy. Yeah. And then it stops. I'm going to write a book and it's going to be like, you should go to therapy. That's it. Just the one page.
Starting point is 00:19:26 And like anytime you interview someone like, have you ever thought about therapy? Like I just think it's nice when people don't exploit mental health. Right. That's all. Yeah, I mean,
Starting point is 00:19:33 I think people can see when it's genuine and when it's not. Yeah, that's what I was going to say. I think people, they can see when it's being exploited and it's being used and leveraged in ways
Starting point is 00:19:42 that are not like genuine or whatever. But yeah, I think that was cool for us to touch on that a little bit. And I think we'll do that more often just checking with each other and see how everyone is feeling. not just us, you know, the staff as well. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:54 And, you know, it's always good to get those kind of conversations. I'm glad that people received it well and, you know, the feedback was great. And yeah, man, just everybody takes some time for yourselves, man. Yourself is important. And if you're not taking care of, then you can't take care of others. Very true. With that said, with mental health, someone tweeted, being single is cool, but I miss waking up in the middle of the night to see Shorty sitting in the corner of the bed
Starting point is 00:20:24 crying with my phone in her hand. I've never experienced that. And I feel like I missed out on something by not experiencing that. Like, I've never experienced the woman going through your phone and waking you up by throwing the phone in your face. I just feel like you shouldn't put that in the air. Like, that's something maybe you should just miss. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:43 That's one of those life experiences that, like, I think I'm like, you know how you'd be like, oh, I've never had a threesome. That's something like you should just try that at least one time of your life just for the checklist. I feel like a woman going through your phone when you're sleeping is just something you should leave off the check. I had a...
Starting point is 00:20:58 Nothing exhilarating about it. One of my ex-girlfriend a long time ago, she had woke me up, and I was sick. So it was like, you know, when you're sick, it's hard to fall asleep. And I had just fallen asleep. Yeah. And she woke me up asking me, who is this? Who is this? Who is this?
Starting point is 00:21:09 And I'm like, I'm looking at her phone. You know, the screen is bright. You can't see. So by the time my eyes lock in and I see it's a, it's a somebody had commented under one of my pictures with a kissy face emoji. No, a hard eye, the hard eye emoji. Well, you're a heartthrob Well, I try to be
Starting point is 00:21:27 Podcast, sex, and movie, Will. I get it. And I looked at it and I'm like, I knew right away I did not know who this person was. So that was, I was like, okay, cool.
Starting point is 00:21:36 It's not like I follow this person. It's not like I know her in real life. Take her phone, I click on it, and it's literally a fake account. Like, you can tell, like, you know how you know the fake accounts. Like, I think the woman in the fucking the,
Starting point is 00:21:51 the, avid, was a, might have been Torrey spelling or something. Like some prototypical blonde actress. It was probably Shorty's burner account. Yeah, right. And I'm like, and I looked at her, I said, this is clearly a fake account. So she looks at her phone and she, oh. I'm like, oh, that's my thing, ladies.
Starting point is 00:22:10 You can't think you caught your man in something. And then when you find out you didn't catch him in nothing, just respond with O. You live a very healthy life that if a stranger's account with hard eyes on IG is what spark. her to wake you up out to sleep. I think because in my past, she was looking for anything. That would be scrolled by because so many other things have been seen in the phone.
Starting point is 00:22:33 Like a hard eye from a fake account is like, oh, yeah, that's a regular Tuesday. See what I'm saying? That's because there literally was nothing to find. So you see something and you think you found something like, this is the aha. And then the aha turns into O. I love.
Starting point is 00:22:48 It's like you don't just owe me. I have, I'm sick. I have a fucking sinus headache. I just fell asleep. And you waking me up because of fake account. left heart eyes under my picture. What an amateur move. You got to build up the evidence. Yeah. Wow. You screenshot and you
Starting point is 00:23:00 build up the evidence so that when you bust it out out, when you flip it out like that out of niggott, there's nothing he can say. Listen, I've had both. I've had the impulse craziness, but I've also had the RICO charge. You've had all the evidence putting on you? She's been built. No wonder I was getting away with these
Starting point is 00:23:18 crimes for so long. They were building the case. Wow. The fed's new. And then they finally rated the crib and I was sitting in fucking in the tombs like they have that on she get reading the charges they was tapping that phone too he was like I'm never coming home no they no they know that oh I'm never getting out never never but there's an easy way out of all of this and I say it all the snitch no it's not never that yo all you have to do my man my man's was using my phone blame it on your dad that's all men have to do no but here's the thing
Starting point is 00:23:53 My dad didn't talk to me. He didn't love me enough. The dad card works one time. It's not reusable. Nah, you could reuse that dad card. You could keep adding minutes to the dad card. No, I've tried it. It worked the first time because she was like,
Starting point is 00:24:07 and I met him. Yeah, I get it. Okay. And then nothing changed. And I just continued with the behavior. And then I was like, put my dad. I'll put it on my pops. I don't give a fuck.
Starting point is 00:24:17 But listen, my dad wasn't there enough. What you want me to do? I'm sorry. Oh, I've even called my dad. Like, yeah, they don't know that. Yo, I've even called my pot. I've tried to use a dad car so much that I've called my pies, like, yo, you need to talk to her and let her know, like, the environment.
Starting point is 00:24:28 You didn't raise. I was raised. You know what I'm saying? It was rough. It was rough growing up in the Bronx like that. You know, but they're gonna put my dad on the phone with me so his dad can say, yeah, man. Just feel like, the example I set for him, like, that's the behavior now. He's doing it to you because I did it to his mom and like, I needed that.
Starting point is 00:24:45 It's a trickle down effect. Like, once you throw a trickle down effect into the pot? Like, he's never seen a stable relationship before, so you gotta like, you gotta understand and work with him so you don't repeat the same mistakes that I did with his mom. Like, I've just needed that. That only worked one time. That's when you got to sing when Dobs cry. Maybe I'm just like my mother.
Starting point is 00:25:02 She's never satisfied. Oh, but I- You throw that on the chick, she'll be like, what? And since we was talking about therapy, I thought I had daddy issues. I just realized I have mommy issues. So now I'm trying to use the mommy issue car. I can't use the mom because my mom, she'll tell it all. She'll get on the phone with a girl.
Starting point is 00:25:18 Listen, that nigger ain't never changing. I can tell you that right now. He ain't never going to change. Just like his dad. Just like his father. That's why I left him back in the 80s. I was like, fine, hold up. You're supposed to hold me down in this situation.
Starting point is 00:25:30 Like, no, I can't call moms. And now. Pops will hold me down. Yo, your mom will sell you out. Oh, for sure. My mom sold me out. Did she? Really?
Starting point is 00:25:38 Oh, on the big, big breakup? Oh, man. I went to console with my mom. And she was like, oh, you're a piece of shit. Oh, she gave me that one. Yeah. That's talk. She said, I don't want to hear it.
Starting point is 00:25:50 That's necessary, though. Like, you need a mom that's going to do that to you. Of course. But at that same time, I, like, wanted to talk to my mom, like, motherly type shit. And she over here consoling this chick. Did she say that in front of the girl, though? No, she said that to me probably. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:07 But they stayed in contact for, like, the whole week. So who knows what my mom was giving up in those conversations? That's called, you know, PR work. She was doing your PR work. She was smoothing things over. It appeared that way. And then I realized it wasn't that. It was building on how much.
Starting point is 00:26:21 much of a piece of shit I was. Oh, she was validating all your piece of shitness. Yeah, man, moms are like that sometimes. They roll with, because they're women, so they have to identify with other women and, you know, relationship struggles and issues, and they know their child. I know it triggered her with everything that happened. I told him he couldn't go to the zoo when he was five and he was never the same since.
Starting point is 00:26:42 Like, you know, they, moms throw all of that in the pot. Like, I didn't sign the consent form in junior high and he never loved herself since then. Like, you know, they go to. I'm cheated on. you because I didn't go on a field trip and it's been resonating here. My mom wouldn't let me go.
Starting point is 00:26:57 You know what I mean? It was a bake sale and she sent me to get an endemins instead of baking me a real cake and I was laughed at by everybody. That's why I liked her story. Yeah, exactly. Ah, anyways. Yeah, man, well, I'm glad.
Starting point is 00:27:08 Keep your phone on lock. No, no. Phone is always locked. There's nothing in my phone that, I mean, you know, I'm single so I don't know. Y'all wait about your sleep with somebody going through your phone. That shit, like, like, I'll wake up from a dead of a sleep. Like, just, I feel somebody.
Starting point is 00:27:21 I feel it. That means you got... You've been doing some crazy shit, man. That means you got filthy your phone. And I see with my phone under my pillow. Oh, you got crazy. I think I have brain damage because you're not supposed to sleep
Starting point is 00:27:31 even really close to your phone. It's bad for you. I used to sleep with the phone under the pillow. Yeah. Right over the phone. With my hand on the phone under the pillow. And I know we joke. Dang, what you do?
Starting point is 00:27:43 You might as well sleep with your pants. So you sleep with your pants on too? Like, damn. I know a girl that she used to come over and try to get in the bed with gym. I'm like, well, first of all, you can lay down, I'm not going to touch you, but why you got your pants on? Have you been touched before and didn't like it?
Starting point is 00:27:56 That's what I would think. Like, if you sitting there with your phone, your hand on the phone under the pillow, I'm like, when somebody went through her phone and called her all kind of shit before. That's a clear indicator of you got some shit in there that you don't want to buy her to see. No. No. Here's the thing. It's going to sound like an excuse.
Starting point is 00:28:12 Yeah. And it's not. Yes, there was a time when there was things in my phone that were very inappropriate that my significant other saw and shouldn't have saw and I shouldn't have been doing. Take all kind of bloody on that. but you do get PTSD of when significant others break your electronics. Go through your stuff. Like even if there's nothing, you just become so accustomed to protecting your own items.
Starting point is 00:28:35 I'm not letting you get that off. You are not sleeping with your hand on your phone because you scared somebody's going to break it. He's right. You're sleeping with your hand on your phone because you scared, she going to get it and find all that, she or he is going to get your phone and find all after them. Okay, then then explain this to me.
Starting point is 00:28:52 Why once it was over, I still did the same thing. Because you still have filth in your phone. I'm saying no, I'm saying no one was next to me in the bed. There was no one next to me in the bed. There was no one. Where basically in the phone would be underneath the pillow. Like, it's just, it's such a habit of having your privacy be invaded and things being broken. And it doesn't make anything right that was in the phone that was found.
Starting point is 00:29:14 But moving forward when there was nothing, I'm still like, no, let me, you know what? I don't need my laptop today, but I'm bringing that shit with me. It's coming with me. You know what it is? I've had three MacBooks shattered. This shit's coming with me. It's the anxiety of that they're going to find something else
Starting point is 00:29:29 that's definitely not that extreme. But they'll make it something. It'll be the catalyst to make them break some shit again. Then you need to remove those people out of your life. Why don't you talk to them all about this? Why? Easier said than done. There's nothing but knowledge.
Starting point is 00:29:43 The mall thinks the entire world is just so logical. And like everything makes sense. If you got to, If you have to sleep with your devices under your pillow. You think love is logical and it's not. You think feelings are logical. People like to put love on shit. Cut it out.
Starting point is 00:29:58 A lot of these motherfuckers ain't running around. They don't love each other. They just like fucking each other. And they both in financial situations where they both need each other. And that's why they're together. They don't love each other. Like we're not going to just start putting love on everything. Oh, I agree with that.
Starting point is 00:30:11 A lot of these couples, they don't love each other. They just need each other at the moment that they are at in their lives. But some people are, are, and myself included, are comfortable being miserable because it's a familiar thing. I can be, let me stay in this because it's familiar. I don't love it. Yeah. But if you're sleeping with your, if you're sleeping with your devices and your hand on them, MacBook, phone and everything. Fam, just cut that person off.
Starting point is 00:30:33 Stop fucking with them. That person is not healthy for you. No, I'm not going to lie. I had to do that. Like, you're going through my phone. I was just like, I can't. Somebody going through your phone, they don't trust you. Why are you with them?
Starting point is 00:30:42 Yeah. You're right. I agree. That's all I'm saying. Why are you with them? they don't trust you, if you don't have trust, you ain't got nothing.
Starting point is 00:30:48 What we're doing together? And I agree from the other side, too. If I got to go through your phone, I shouldn't be with you. At all. Both sides. If you're with someone that goes to your phone,
Starting point is 00:30:57 you probably shouldn't be. Person doesn't trust you. Also, if you're going to do someone's phone, why are you with somebody you can't trust? Yeah. Exactly. That's all, and that's all I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:31:06 That's all I'm saying. Today's episode is brought to you by Raycons, base earbuds, base boost. Base boost. The base boost. I love the base boost on the Raycons. We'll do the real ad.
Starting point is 00:31:16 Oh, yeah. We'll do the real ad later. Just had to throw a Ray J in there. How are you guys living when IG showed everything you guys did? Oh, my God. Oh, those was dark fucking times. Yo, Jesus Christ. That time was a very, listen, IG, the best thing you ever did.
Starting point is 00:31:31 And I think Elon may have had something to do it. I don't know. Let's just put it on Elon. I think Elon changed that. Don did it. Yeah, they just got rid of that whole activity. Why were they letting people know what I was doing? I re-liked photo.
Starting point is 00:31:45 Every comment. That's up there with that week only fans was like we're going to ban nudity. And it was like, oh, so you just want your, you want to ruin your company. Yeah, you want your platform to die. It's basically what you're saying. Instagram did that. I really stopped fucking with IG like,
Starting point is 00:31:58 oh yeah. The same way that I was on it before. I'm like, I'm not. I'm cool. No money bags. It was money bags was like a short, shortage. Super short.
Starting point is 00:32:07 I was like, nah. But you can click any girl page now and see the money bags on there. So like, we don't need the activity tab. Nah, but that is different. I just assume when I click a girl's page. Different activity tab. That was like somebody being right over your shoulder with a notebook just like writing everything he was doing. It was like, fair.
Starting point is 00:32:21 Why are y'all telling everybody that follows them? You know what? You know what? You would be really sick, though? When I click these girls' pages and I see the money bag shit from mall, I then go to their followers. And mall's not following them. You know how sick that is? You throwing money bags is when you don't even follow?
Starting point is 00:32:41 No, you don't got to follow them. No, you got to follow them to show love. They come up in the experience. That's it. Listen, love is free. Love is free. Everybody should feel loved. So that's what I do.
Starting point is 00:32:50 I just run around. You just throw bags of love. That's it. I don't have to follow you to love you. Look at what you think love is. That's why I just didn't pay me. It is love. Eddins and you're the only one in this room still in a relationship because the rest of us are
Starting point is 00:33:04 working on ourselves. Okay. Becoming a better version of myself. Yeah. I have to love me before I can love you. So let me give you a little tip. To put my oxygen mask on first. Instagram recently.
Starting point is 00:33:14 implemented a feature where you can go back and you can like on your page you can go back and look at everything you've ever liked. Oh yeah, you can see every activity you've done. You've ever done. Wait, where is this? On your settings. On your settings.
Starting point is 00:33:27 Yeah. You can go in there and see. See, this is why I keep my phone under my pillow. Exactly. You can see everything you've done. I don't think I want to see that. Every like you've ever sent every comment. I went back and looked.
Starting point is 00:33:37 I was looking at comments. I was commenting under things. I was never a commenter. All of that is on it? Yeah. So it's like a small. spreadsheet. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:46 Of your activity on Instagram since the day you were born? Yeah. Probably. Since 21, 11, 12? That's crazy. I want to know who was the first girl I left the money bags under. I would want to go back and find that out. She got to be a legend.
Starting point is 00:33:58 Yeah. She's the legend for sure. We got to bring her on the pod. It may, maybe. And we have to find the date that you did it. It might be Dreia, if I think hard enough. It might be Dreya. Dreya was, Dreya was Queen at Instagram for a very long time.
Starting point is 00:34:09 It might be Dreya. Yeah. I would like to go back and find, I don't even know how I can find that, though. Got to go through whatever tab she's talking about. Yeah, you can see. Yeah, but I didn't put money bags from here. Well, you can, I think you can select by year from not mistaken. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:34:23 Okay. That makes things, yeah, that makes things a lot easier. Does that make y'all nervous a little bit? No, because I've never done nothing crazy on IG, so not nervous, but. Yeah, and I've gotten over the shame because, you know, the Internet, that's what sucks with these kids growing up literally with the Internet. Everything they've ever done from every age is going to be documented. and they're going to have to live with that.
Starting point is 00:34:46 I've gotten over the embarrassment of things that I've done on the Internet at a young age. That took a minute, though, because I was like, oh, who is this person? Like, this is just, and I'm like, you literally watch yourself grow up on the Internet. It's gross. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:58 Your way of thinking. Yeah. Things that you used to do, places you used to go. And what sucks is now you're connected to that. Like, there's no, you're not allowed to grow up or think differently. Like, you're attached to that thought from that year. Right. So I've gotten over that.
Starting point is 00:35:12 So I would probably look at that stuff and laugh. now. But like a year or two ago, if I looked through that tab, I would feel shame and disgust about myself. Who was I? Look who you DM in right now. Nasty. You're just giving it up.
Starting point is 00:35:28 Nastiness. Yeah. So we had some interesting things occurred during the last two days. I guess we could start with Dave Chappelle being attacked at his show in California. Hollywood Bowl. At the Hollywood Bowl.
Starting point is 00:35:43 Got tackled. How did the person, I want to know, have you guys been to Hollywood Bowl before? Yeah. I haven't. How did someone even get on stage? Well, I think the way they set that up, you know, it was kind of orchestra style maybe. So maybe, you know, I don't know, maybe it was got around. Slip through the cracks?
Starting point is 00:36:01 Yeah, something like that. I'm pretty sure at the comedy show it may have been a little more laid back, security-wise and things like that. But then again, who am I talking? Because at every paloze, I was like, how did this person get on stage? Yeah. It happened. How did you get here? If somebody wants to get on stage, they can get on stage.
Starting point is 00:36:17 They can get on stage. But it was good to know that Dave was okay. Right. The suspect did have a weapon. He had a knife, so that could have gotten really, really bad. Yeah. And a fake gun. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:29 That was also a knife. I'm not sure how the fuck he got that in because I've been to a Chappelle show and security is... Can't get your phone. Yeah, like security is crazy. So I don't know how that happened. But glad that Dave was okay. they didn't do too much talking with the suspect
Starting point is 00:36:47 they let their hands and feet he was neutralized yeah the threat was neutralized the threat was put down which I'm glad that they put that picture of his face out like yeah you know this this could happen obviously he was on some type of drugs
Starting point is 00:37:02 he was not you know something even when he was handcuffed to the to the gurney they call it he was still acting a little erratic and his arm was definitely a whole different direction. Yeah. They probably broke his arm or something like that.
Starting point is 00:37:15 That shit was just weird to me. Outside of just getting on stage, your point there, how did that, how did you get a knife? Like, I just don't understand how all of those three things happened.
Starting point is 00:37:26 Give staged. Yeah. Or he could have had, you know, he could have been one of those people that had like a little press pass and snuck it in with his camera equipment. Like,
Starting point is 00:37:34 you know, I've seen the bodyguard. I've seen videos of people on YouTube. I've snuck on those places. But still. Of course. Like make a fake press pass and then get through,
Starting point is 00:37:42 to like floor seats of an NBA game. Absolutely. It happens all the time. Yeah, Carl was teaching me how to do that. He said yeah, just bring a camera. Hey, hey, hey, man, come on. Peach, did Pete ever tell you his watch the throne shit? No. They posted and is there statute of limitations?
Starting point is 00:37:56 No, Pete will not be allowed on any, at any. Well, he didn't rush to watch the throne stage. He just got it. Everyone was, sit at, Jay and Kanye, to my understanding now, are both safe. Yeah. Someone posted like the All Access Pass or whatever on Twitter for, because, you know, they did like a week of shows here. And Pige being amazing at Photoshop was like, God bless Pige.
Starting point is 00:38:18 Wait, that's it. So he bought a ticket, like the cheapest, cheapest ticket ever for like the highest shit. And then just made an all access pass based off the picture from Twitter. Jesus. And got to the front row. Yeah. Genius. Love it.
Starting point is 00:38:32 So yeah, I mean, I don't know how this gentleman got a knife inside the Hollywood Bowl, but I'm glad that Dave is okay. Do we think, should we talk about it? Lover stage conspiracy theory Yeah I'm not saying I believe it But let's talk about it Okay
Starting point is 00:38:47 It was a setup for a good last live Did Comedy Central Are they trying to protect their comedians Did Viacom put this together You guys will not run up on us We will show you what happens Nah man Is that the sacrificial land
Starting point is 00:39:00 For all stand-up comedians No I don't think this was One of those conspiracies Of being set up I think this was literally Some Looney Tune Getting into the Hollywood Bowl and him really had,
Starting point is 00:39:12 he probably really had plans on physically hurting Dave. Yeah. I believe that. Well, that's very unfortunate, unless please protect Dave Chappelle at all fucking cost. But I could see it. And you know, of course, Dave. I could see it being staged.
Starting point is 00:39:25 You know, Dave had to have jokes about it, which is what comedians are going to do. And Chris Rock as well. It was just like, all right, the Will Smith shit just happened. Chris Rock is there. I know comedians are already nervous as is, because to have that in the back of your mind
Starting point is 00:39:38 when you're literally saying, quote unquote offensive things the entire show to think oh fuck someone could come up here and see me about what I'm saying could ruin that entire genre period so is this a way to just nip that shit in the butt like hey no one's gonna be running up on us look everyone we're gonna beat the shit out of them
Starting point is 00:39:57 and Dave is gonna be fine oh so you think it was just to meanly set the example yes I think I think the comedy world saw what happened with Will and was like fuck if this becomes a trend because now at any comedy club the new viral moment could be running up on a comedian which is unfortunate
Starting point is 00:40:15 and I'm telling you really ruin stand-up comedy. Right. So yeah, let's beat the shit out of somebody that's attacking the biggest comedian in the world and show it on camera. Look at his face.
Starting point is 00:40:30 Y'all can't do this. I would roll with that if, but what guy is going to agree so okay, y'all are going to beat the shit on me after this? I mean, but let's be real here, Dave got money. Yeah, but that dude got his fucking, he has a, his head on an, it's another head on his head now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:48 Like, how do you, you know what I'm saying? You don't know, agree to like, I fuck me up. Like, I get it. Half a mill? Maybe if you pay it, yeah, but I don't think so. I don't think. Yeah, half a mill is not worth the example. You know why?
Starting point is 00:40:59 Only because I feel like, you could beat me up for $500,000. Like that? Oh, yeah. I mean, for five for, for, for, half a million. Yeah, you could jump me. I don't mind. But I'm just saying only because now if that gets out that that was staged
Starting point is 00:41:13 That would suck You understand? And I think that that's always What you have to think about if you're trying to plan something like that is How much can we trust that this will never get out? Man That's all Watch on Reddit they're going to find that that guy last year at Montreal Comedy Festival doing stand-up like
Starting point is 00:41:31 Oh he was a comedian They all knew each other Maybe he was a comedian Maybe he is an comedian I don't know I'm really just talking shit. But I don't think that that was fake. I don't think that that was staged.
Starting point is 00:41:41 I think that that was real. And it was just some loony bin that just got a hold of some type of pass or something and worked his way to the front and try to take a shot at day. He tried to get close up on him to where he could harm him. But security quickly neutralized the perp. The perp. I love that. I love that name.
Starting point is 00:42:00 We should bring perp back. Yeah, neutralized the perp, put him down, got him up out of there. And Dave Chappelle went on with the show. So glad that Dave Chappelle. is safe. Yeah, man. So just be careful for these comedians at these live shows, man, because I like where we said, I do believe that there will be a trend of hecklers, you know, feeling
Starting point is 00:42:19 some type of way about what comedians are saying and feeling like they want to have their viral moment. Everybody wants to have a viral moment. They're doing all types of shit for viral moments now. You don't know what people are willing to do. So, yeah, just be safe, man. So all comedians that's touching these stages around the world, be safe. And no, you just get your fucking ass with.
Starting point is 00:42:36 Oh, you feel about. Chris Rock getting his last laugh. Oh, Chris Rock. Well, Chris Rock can't. Didn't you say it was his last day? Mad. Three weeks ago. No, but Chris Rock.
Starting point is 00:42:46 Are you feel about Chris Rock getting his last laugh? Shut up. Chris Rock is still on tour, I believe, right? And I do know that he is going to have, because I believe Chris Rock is on tour. With Chappelle. With Chappelle. I thought it was with Kevin Hart.
Starting point is 00:42:59 I think he is on tour with Kevin Hart as well. I don't think Chappelle's involved that at all. No, no. He's on tour with Kevin Hart. That was his, he just happened to be, every comedian was there that night. at the Hollywood Bowl. But, and I do know that I think Chris Rock has his own stand-up coming soon.
Starting point is 00:43:14 And I'm pretty sure he has a thousand Will Smith bars ready to go. This was, that was, that was too easy. Oh, that was the joke was way too. Yeah, that was way too easy. You got that shit off. Another stabbing news, unfortunately. Tabbing news. Legendary rapper Kid Creel has been sentenced to 16 years for the fatal stabbing of a homeless man
Starting point is 00:43:36 named John Jolly in Midtown Manhattan. Kid Creole was on his way to work when the violent running with Jolly took place. As he told police at the time, he approached me. I got a little nervous. Then I tried to back up a little bit, and he moved forward. And then I just took the knife and stabbed him. I wish I never would have seen him.
Starting point is 00:43:52 It's all my fault because I chose to stab him. I have to take responsibility for that. Celestine has always maintained he acted in self-defense and believed his fear for his life was reasonable. There are also various accounts suggesting Jolly didn't actually die from the stab wounds. instead some think he died from a dose of the sedative benzodiazepine close enough uh peroxide that was given to him at a hospital
Starting point is 00:44:16 ah okay i wasn't familiar with this at all yeah what is this this is uh... rapper kid creole from the furious five legendary rap i'm aware of who he is i just didn't know any of this happened yeah i remember i remember reading about this a while ago yeah so he stabbed a guy of homeless guy i guess he He felt like the guy was acting kind of erratic and I'm coaching him. He felt threatened and he stabbed him. And he was sentenced to 16 years for that.
Starting point is 00:44:42 But I'm pretty sure he's going to appeal that, which I think he may win. I don't think he has a violent past anything like that. But he has been sentenced to 16 years for the stabbing. And it's just interesting that people feel like the guy died from some sedative that he was given instead of the actual stabbing. So I'm pretty sure maybe forensics, somebody can prove, you know, Autopsy. Maybe I don't know that they probably will be able to prove that he didn't die from the stabbing. So, yeah, we just got to keep an eye on that story. Either way, it's an unfortunate situation, both ways. Life was lost, and Kit Creole now has to spend some time in prison for that. So prayers to both families.
Starting point is 00:45:25 Damn, I had no idea. Yeah. And funnier news, though. Edon, can I sell your sex tape? Can you make a billy? Can you sell my sex tape? Which one? Do you think his sex tape Would get you a Billy?
Starting point is 00:45:37 I mean I got some moves I got some rotations I could have stayed hungover in my bed today No way We're here to find out all about You don't think I can fuck good?
Starting point is 00:45:50 Excuse me? Now y'all are just two men are weirdly staring at each other What happened? No one I was the only one that heard him Yeah I didn't hear him What do you say?
Starting point is 00:46:03 He said you don't think I fuck good Eddie, you can't ask men. Edin, you cannot ask other men, do they think you can fuck good? I've never thought about it. Never thought about Edding fucking good at all. But sex tapes, yes. Some interesting information has come out about sex tapes. Is it interesting?
Starting point is 00:46:22 Well, it's interesting only because it's finally like, you know, confirmed. Thoughts that we had on the whole Ray J. Kim Kardashian sex tape over the years has been confirmed that it was indeed planned and staged. and throw it out and a business move. There was marketing behind it. There was publicist. They smoked that rollout. Oh, yeah, it was a rollout. There was all kind of things.
Starting point is 00:46:43 Her first album was crazy. So Ray J came out and said, you know, basically, you know, he's still being painted as the perp in this situation. Is he, though? Does anyone care? I'm saying as far as, like, how it came out or who's faulted was. Does anyone care? I know people care about the tape, obviously. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:04 I don't think people, well, I understand why Ray J would care because it's like, you know, people still look at me like I did something so foul and betrayed my ex-girlfriend and did something. So, you know, that's just something that we should never do, which is put out, you know, any type of videos and sex tapes of, you know, of women. So I can understand why Ray J would still fill a way, but like the people view him in that light. Agreed there. I just don't, I don't think anyone really thought that Ray J. leaked that sex date? Well, some people did. There's a lot of people.
Starting point is 00:47:34 Some people, yeah, absolutely. Some people really did feel like Ray J put that out, especially him and Kim were broken up at the time. So, you know, maybe I feel like... One wish was out. You know. Why would he need to leak it? Yeah, Ray J was definitely, he was well off.
Starting point is 00:47:50 Sexy Can I was ringing in the streets. Ray J was doing very well in life. He wasn't struck, well, I don't know if he was struggling with other areas of his life. But he financially seemed to be in a good space in his life. I think it's just easier to believe that a man leaked a tape. Of course. There just isn't anything for Ray J to gain.
Starting point is 00:48:07 Now, if Kim was Kim now, I mean, we still talking about it. Now it would be like, oh, okay, I could see a world, it would be disgusting, but I can see a world where Ray J may be, let's not even say Ray J, a man would leak a sex take with Kim Kardashian. She was just some chick. That's true. And he made one wish. Yeah, but, you know, at the time she was.
Starting point is 00:48:29 She was still, she was still. Who is to benefit from a sex tape coming out when I have one wish and I'm Brandy Norwood's brother and you're a chick on vacation with me? Well, that was his girlfriend at the time. Yeah. On vacation. Yeah, she was big back then. She had a name. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:48:48 As, and I'm not discrediting Kim Kardashian at all. She's a fucking mogul now. Kim was running around with Pierce Hill and like she was an assistant. What would be the benefit of Ray J doing that in, like, in, like, he's not? like, oh, I'm going to leave this. No, I think when it, no, when they filmed it, I think that way. I think when the time it came out, I think Kim was a little bigger than when they actually filmed it, though.
Starting point is 00:49:09 Was, I think it came out after they filmed it. Was season one of keeping up with the Kardashians even on? Yeah. No, I don't think keeping up with the Kardashians was on yet. But she still was big, though. She was like a sought after. She was one of the, she was probably the hottest girl in Hollywood at the time. Ah, you're dragging it.
Starting point is 00:49:24 At that time? No. She was doing, she was already doing late night TV shows. She was doing all kind of shit at that time. before that tape came out. She wasn't that. Listen, you could be right. I don't know the timeline of people.
Starting point is 00:49:33 Yeah, because she was dating, she was still dating a bunch. She had dated a few other guys after Ray at that time. Like, so she was like the girl that people, I think she was with the cannon when it leaked. Well, we know his track record, so she had to be hot. How did she not get pregnant? It was in 2007 when that tape came out. 2007? Yeah, Kim was, she wasn't, she wasn't like still up under Paris like that.
Starting point is 00:49:57 Well, I'm saying, us regularly people were not in the know. Of that y'all knew this Hollywood chick. No, but she was definitely a known, she was definitely one of the most popular girls at that time. We liked Raymond J. No, for sure. No, I get what you're saying. At that time, Ray J. was the quote-unquote celebrity.
Starting point is 00:50:16 He was the biggest celebrity at that time, without a doubt. But she was definitely like the hot girl that, you know, they was like, oh, she got as a sex tape. It was like, oh, wow, like, okay. I know Paris had a bunch of sex tape, but we watched the Paris Hilton sex tape for Paris. I mean, I don't even know the dude's name. No, but people watch, no, no, people watch that Ray J. Kim tape to see Kim, Kim's body.
Starting point is 00:50:38 People was like, damn, she's bad. I agree, I agree. She looks in my point. I'm not talking about what we were really looking at. It was Paris Hilton. Not the other dude. It was Ray J. It wasn't Kim.
Starting point is 00:50:50 Paris's sex tape was definitely for Paris Hilton. Did Kim look great? Did I think that Ray J was going to be fucking an ugly girl? Probably not. So that didn't. crossing him. I was like, oh, Ray J. is a sex date. That's funny. No, but it was Kim K, though. Trust me. Yeah, I get what I'm all saying, when I was younger. It became that way.
Starting point is 00:51:08 No, it was, no one has pivoted better than Kim Kardashian on planet motherfucking earth. No, it was for Kim K. She got the deal with vivid, I think, at the time. It was, she was, she was bad. She looked good. Okay, I'll say this then. She was a socialite. Is she, absolutely? Because Ray J's saying they all sat down and planned it and did it, which we all knew. If Kim went in there and was fucking. fucking Edden. Is she getting the deal? All right, fucking me.
Starting point is 00:51:35 She's in there fucking me. Everyone on the internet. I know Kim Kardashian would never fuck me. I'm not doing it in that regard. Or me either. Is she getting the same deal with Vivid? Is Vivid even taking the meeting? If Kim Kardashian says, I'm fucking someone on camera.
Starting point is 00:51:53 Yes. Okay. That's where I just. Really? Yes. She was one of the hottest girls. I could be totally wrong and I'm sure I'm wrong, but I just how I view that. Vivid is a fucking adult entertainment company.
Starting point is 00:52:05 It wouldn't have been as much money if it wasn't with Ray J, but they would have definitely still been interested. Absolutely they would have been interested. She used to run in those circles, the Parises, the, I know, I know that. All of the all of the hot white girls, like she was one of them. All right, let's say if it's not Ray J, it was somebody else. You think it would have blown up as hard?
Starting point is 00:52:22 That's what I'm trying to say. I think so. Really? Yeah. I don't think so. The fact that it was Ray J. That Kim Kardashian is now who she, is as far as her career steps went.
Starting point is 00:52:31 Mm-hmm. If she just said with her mom, went in that meeting, like, yo, I'm fucking my boyfriend that none of y'all know. Mm-hmm. She's leveraging everything she's leveraged from that sex tape. Yes. With just some random. Yes. And the reason why, and this is my argument when it comes to people.
Starting point is 00:52:47 Yeah, I got to put more respect on Raymond's name. When they come. No, because when they... It was what it is because it was Ray J. I'm saying. But it was definitely more so she got the deal done with Vivid because she was in a beautiful girl. I'm not saying.
Starting point is 00:53:01 People were like, oh, we're going to see her naked, having sex. Of course, people would want to see Kim Kardashian naked and fuck. But I'm saying does it leverage the same way? If it wasn't Rage. If it wasn't with Rage. Yes. And this is why I say this because the reason why Kim is big is not because she fucked Rai J. It's because her mother had a business plan.
Starting point is 00:53:20 Oh, the one of the best capitalized on it. So no matter who she fucked, they were going to make money off of that. Because if somebody else would have went and fucked Rai J, they wouldn't have became Kim Kardashian. Oh, whoa, whoa, I agree. That's the thing. Chris is the guideline to all of this. You're mis-understanding what I'm saying
Starting point is 00:53:35 because I've said on this podcast plenty of times, there's millions of women that are from L.A. And fuck and nothing happens. Millions. Kim is a genius. She's incredible. I don't take anything away from what she's done in that regard. I'm not saying that anyone could have fucked Ray J.
Starting point is 00:53:54 And they'd be the most famous human being on earth right now. That's Kim. That's her mother. that's their talent, they're the best at it. But they're not starting the way they started if Kim just fucked some random guy. It's not happening. Okay.
Starting point is 00:54:10 It's just not happening. Okay. Well, we can't speak to that and we'll never know. I'm not saying Kim couldn't get to where she was because we've seen her talent regardless and everything she's done. She's not even remotely close to define by that sex state. She is so much more than that.
Starting point is 00:54:21 Of course. I'm just saying it would take it a lot longer for Kim and Chris. Yeah. To get a reality. show if she walked into a fucking company and said, I'm fucking my boyfriend who none of y'all know on camera.
Starting point is 00:54:33 Okay. I get what you're saying. Like that's just not happening. No, we know that. It was because a celebrity there was, it was a celebrity sex tape, meaning that it was Ray J. Who was a celebrity, and Kim who was quote on quote a celebrity at the time herself. So it's a celebrity it's a celebrity couple
Starting point is 00:54:49 having sex. So yes, you're right. If it was a regular, random boyfriend that she just, who worked at wherever and we didn't know who he was, it wouldn't have had the same of law, but it still would have been a big deal because Kim K did have a name and did have a following at that time. She was all over every magazine. I was young.
Starting point is 00:55:06 I was in every fucking, yeah, she was all over every magazine. She was everywhere on TV with Parrish Hilton. Absolutely. I mean, I know she was her sister. Kim was like out there like that. Absolutely. Before that sex tape came out, absolutely. She was one of socialite girls.
Starting point is 00:55:19 Oh, I take everything I said. I'm wrong. I was in, I was in seventh grade and I knew who she was before the sex tape. So when, like, you know, kids see shit. When I saw like, the sex tape ads and stuff like that on like the internet. I was like, oh my God. All right, well, everyone don't cut off your YouTube or audio this part
Starting point is 00:55:36 and just cut certain pieces of this. I'm wrong. Everything I just said. Yeah, I'm always wrong. One, everyone, don't kill you on the internet. Hey, I'm wrong. I was just wrong. Yeah, it's, yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:46 I think I made some points in there, though. You did. No, you made some points, but I agree. But I'm with you. Kim had a following that time. She was definitely like. Well, you're not. You weren't her audience.
Starting point is 00:55:54 Of course. Yeah, you was young, though. You were saying I watched it to see Ray J? I watched for Ray. That's sick. Watched for Ray. Yeah, you was definitely more familiar with Ray. Ray brought his audience as in me to the tape.
Starting point is 00:56:09 Absolutely. So, yeah, I'm glad that Ray J cleared that up and came out and said that that whole thing was planned. And, you know, they had a whole, you know, idea to put it out. And it wasn't like he just leaked a sex tape. But looking back at that sex tape, I definitely have better sex tapes in my phone. Oh, I'm actually disappointed. I didn't think it was staged. I think they, what I thought is they filmed a sex tape and then they got together and was like, let's put this out.
Starting point is 00:56:36 Yeah. Is Ray J's saying they literally staged it like the way Mimi and old boy did? I think he's saying that they've been had a bunch of tapes. Yeah, they had a bunch of sex videos together and they just had a plan to just, you know, let's sell it. And this company is trying to pay a lot of money. Why not? Okay, I'm cool. And granted, my dick is trash.
Starting point is 00:56:58 I'm aware. If they staged that, that was a shitty sex tape. If that was like a planned staged sex tape. But not the actual recording. That's what I'm saying. No. That was just, they were on vacation. Yeah, no.
Starting point is 00:57:13 Boyfriend and a girlfriend at the time. Of course. I have those two. This was them getting their only fans money before only fan. Have y'all seen the tape? Yeah. I don't think the whole thing. I remember that he like talks into camera, I won't point.
Starting point is 00:57:26 Yeah, they were on vacation. Nobody's making a sex date. They were on vacation. It was kind of like, you know, for their personal... But you don't think he recorded that one for it to go out? No, no, no. No. That was all like just like personal vacation footage and...
Starting point is 00:57:39 We may never know. I don't think that they... Nor should we care. Yeah, I don't do a fuck, but I don't think that. I think that was just personal vacation shit and it was just like, you know, we might be able to make some money from this. I just feel like they thought about the angles a lot for what it was. Well, you think about the angles when you make your own sex tape. Like, you want to look back at him like, damn, like...
Starting point is 00:57:58 The worst sex tape ever was the, like the worst sex tape story was, what's, um, Stevie J's ex-wife? Oh my God. Shal Rock. Is there name Mimi? Mimi. Mimi. Yeah, Mimi. And she was on the Showrot and the, uh, the Piggly Wiggly.
Starting point is 00:58:13 What hotel was that? Not the Biggie. That hotel was terrible. I just wonder if people are so stupid that they think we're stupid. They do. Well, people are stupid. Let's just, let's just put that out there. A lot of people are stupid.
Starting point is 00:58:26 When it came out, they did the whole, like, oh, my. God, TSA, like we put it through the machine and then we took our bags, not knowing, like, somebody went in the bag and took it. And took your sex tape. No, the funny part was they were saying, what was it on a DVD? No, the funny part was they was saying, like, it was a personal tape and all that, but there, and then somebody was like, but the camera's moving. Somebody's recording this.
Starting point is 00:58:47 That's where, I was like, do y'all realize that there's camera movements, this entire, like somebody's recording this. And every time it makes sound like it was their personal, private, like nobody. he was there, it was just them. And it was like, all right, man, I get it. But listen, man, people see that, you know, what Kim was able to do from that, people are going to try to jump in that lane as well.
Starting point is 00:59:07 Like, fuck it. I got some sex tapes. I could try to get at least half of what they got. But this is what, this is where I guess maybe my self-esteem would come into play. I would have actually probably no issue with the sex tape of mine leaking.
Starting point is 00:59:19 I probably wouldn't care. Same. Really at all, actually. But if I were to plan to put out a sex tape for financial gain or for leverage to cloud whatever the fuck you want to call it and it doesn't do anything you know how crushing that would be
Starting point is 00:59:33 sick yeah I'd be thoroughly like you can just crawl under rock and never come off out again one of the most vulnerable things you can do which is well not anymore let's be clear visually that sex tape shit is not that like nobody gives a fuck about it tomorrow you wouldn't be like what the fuck dog you're ass naked fucking somebody it's it's a vulnerable thing
Starting point is 00:59:52 whether you want to say or not it's a vulnerable thing but what I'm saying is like people trying to like get a bag from it now was kind of like Oh, no, that's right. I'm just saying if I do that and put myself... And put myself... Nobody spoke about it. Like...
Starting point is 01:00:05 I mean, we talked about it. Did we for how long? We're still talking about Ray J. and Kim Kardashian. To this day. 20 years ago, right? 20 years later. I would just be crushed that my sex tape didn't get me any money or attention. Like, how trash is that?
Starting point is 01:00:18 Like, that's what I'm saying? It's a blow to your ego. It definitely, but that's because now, like, you got only... You can basically put your own sex tape out every day if you want. Right. You might as well have properly market. it out. Yeah, like you can do that. That shit is not as... It doesn't have to be the secret. You can just be like, hey, I'm fucking on camera. You want to pay $10.
Starting point is 01:00:36 Like, that's really all it is. Before you had to do the secret, like, oh, my God, I can't believe someone took it from our archives. Nobody cares anymore. Now it's probably your rollout. Sex is everywhere now. You can literally open your phone and see people having sex right now if you want to. People are posting sex videos on Twitter. I didn't even know that was happening. Oh, yeah. I mean... That was the crazy shit in the world to me. Like, I opened my timeline one day and just seen people fucking. I was like, wait. There is it. Yeah, Twitter is it. It's not suspended because it is? Like, this is... Twitter only cared...
Starting point is 01:01:02 Twitter cares about Republican tweets, but anything else is a fair game. Okay. Like, you could post nudity, fucking everything. No, everything is on Twitter. Like, literally. That's always been out of it.
Starting point is 01:01:13 Some more funny shit happened. Drake follows and DMs a troll. D.M. A troll's wife on Instagram. So Drake had posted a caption saying, imagine your son makes the league and he's Jai or Mello Alonzo. All you can do is be. Delated and competitive and over-supportive, and it's a right of passes to that.
Starting point is 01:01:32 The OGs talk shit. I know I'm going to be this way even if my son is in a Rubik's Cube competition. Which that would be a difficult competition. Yeah. Drake sounded like a very supportive dad. I think he is. Which is what you would want to be. You want to support your kids.
Starting point is 01:01:45 So a gentleman commented under Drake's comment and said, your son probably plays with ghost writers. So that's just the lazy, not funny joke. This is obviously a guy that was looking for attention. And so Drake decided today was going to be the day where he's going to give this guy some attention. And Drake says, I love those days. Sometimes you just got to give people attention.
Starting point is 01:02:06 Give them what they're looking for. They want this attention. I got some for you. I have nothing to do for the next hour. Here we go. I just followed your girl. This is what Drake says to this gentleman. His name is Seddybo underscore Y, B, G, and M.
Starting point is 01:02:17 Probably his gang, gang, gang, gang, gang shit. I just followed your girl because she's probably miserable and needs some excitement in her life. Need this to say. Don't tell me my girl needs excitement in her life. I mean, you know, sometimes your girl looks depressed. She needs it. Yeah, she's probably been depressed, you know, things like that.
Starting point is 01:02:32 So the gentleman says, oh, nah, this fool really dimmed my wife. I'm crying. Yes, you really are crying because you know that your wife would fuck and suck Drake until he turns blue in the feet. That's a crazy guy. I need to live your life. Drake DM. What's her at?
Starting point is 01:02:49 Drake DM the woman and said, I'm here for you, Ma. And then he followed her. and his girl, you know, screenshots to follow and says, oh, hey, she was already following. And says, oh, hey, champagne, poppy. You definitely don't get a text back after that. If my girl calls anyone Champagne or Poppy. I mean, well, that's his screen name.
Starting point is 01:03:16 You can't refer to it as anything. Oh, he added. Yeah, she added. I thought she was replying and said, hey, champagne pop. She screenshotsed. She screenshotsed him following her. Okay. It was an ad.
Starting point is 01:03:26 I thought she was replying saying. She said, hey, at Champagne Poppy. This is all fun in games until Drake really flies this young woman out somewhere for a show and not a boyfriend or husband is home crying because he doesn't know if his wife would actually fornicate with Drake. Let me be the first one to tell you that your wife would fornicate with Drake. He just signed a massive $400 million deal. Look at how you think of everyone's wife. I think there's plenty of women that would not.
Starting point is 01:03:55 cheat on their partner with Drake. No, she's been showing her ass over since that happened. Wait, say that again? I think there's plenty of women that would not cheat on their partner with Drake. And I think there's plenty of women that will. I think there's plenty too, but let's not say all when, oh, you just, let's, I don't think, I'm not cheating for Drake.
Starting point is 01:04:16 One of the biggest stars on the planet, biggest star in recording music. Attractive dude. Biggest recording artists on a planet, attractive man. Yeah. You know, has this shit together. passes. That's how I would describe. He has a shit together. He's financially sound. And I've seen some of these dudes that women give the pussy to.
Starting point is 01:04:33 Oh, for sure. None of them have signed a deal for $400 million. Like, let's just be, let's get that out of there. None of them have more hits than the Beatles. I know plenty of women that would cheat on their partner with a complete broke bum. I'm just saying, let's not put on all women that they would cheat on their partner with. I would never put all women in that category. But we're going to put most of them in that category.
Starting point is 01:04:52 Here's, okay. I think there is one person that every woman would cheat on their partner with. Tiana Taylor. I was going to say Rihanna. I think every straight woman would cheat on their partner with Rihanna. I think every straight woman would cheat on their spouse with Tiana Taylor. That's probably true. For sure.
Starting point is 01:05:14 But Drake is right there in the next room waiting if those women don't want to sleep with Tiana or with Rihanna. Drake is right in the next room. Who's third to you that? Speaking of, should we throw, you are, Edin? I'm third. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:27 Yeah, all right. I'm number three. Me? All right. Keep your queens away from me. Like, gee, let me be in peace. Should we throw a Damarison in the bus? Thinking of a, speaking of Rihanna?
Starting point is 01:05:41 Yes. What? Should we tell the truth of her take? Mm-hmm. This might be the best record of the year. It's a good, it's a good record. It's not for me. For context, we're playing ASAP Rocky, DMB, featuring Rihanna in the video.
Starting point is 01:06:02 What other context do we need? We're playing it because it's a good song. This record is hard. This record is fire. I like that Rocky came back with this record. Sounds like Rocky. Feels like Rocky. Pause.
Starting point is 01:06:17 It feels like... Looks like Rocky. Looks like ASAP. It's the Rocky that we loved when he first came out. It sounds like that, but in 2022. Yeah. And I like the fact that he, you know, we saw the images of this video,
Starting point is 01:06:34 how many many years ago when they were uptown in the Bronx shooting this. So I'm glad that we finally got the visuals for it. I didn't know that they were going to put it out. Is this something that we knew was happening today? It just like, they just put it out. Yeah. So it was a surprise to me that this song and video drive.
Starting point is 01:06:53 I don't know. Is this song available yet? just a video. I'm sure it's on DSP. Yeah, I'm sure both release at the same time. Yeah. I will say though, man, like, I know, again, the podcast community just wants us to shit on everything and, like, can't stand when we compliment people. If he also directed this video, like, that's insane. This record is really,
Starting point is 01:07:14 really fucking good, and the video is incredible. Yeah, the video is crazy. It's a very... We got to give Rocky some flowers if he also directed this shit to. Like, that's different. That's what he said. I believe him. I mean, he's always been a fucking really creative dude. Yeah, he's a, he's a visionary.
Starting point is 01:07:30 He's a creative guy, so I definitely am not surprised that he directed this. It's like a collage of different imagery from around the city and uptown and shit like that. And it just, it's a real New York, real New York video. Do, this hook. Sitting on a fire escape, eating. The day parties this summer? I got to go home and memorize this whole hook. I got to stream this at the party.
Starting point is 01:07:53 Yeah, you can't fuck this hook up. Because this is everything you want to tell to a chick. Roll my blunt. You know, be my bitch. Be my slut. Be my cunt. What a great word. How did Rocky get clearance on that?
Starting point is 01:08:07 Because cunt is such a aggressive word that it's hard for it to come across like, ill. It's usually said in a very bad way. It's a very disrespectful word. It sounds kind of beautiful here. It's almost like, wow. Like you actually added some beauty and art to the word. Like, I want you to be my cunt. Like, it doesn't come off as aggressive.
Starting point is 01:08:28 It doesn't come off as disrespectful. It's like, you know, what he's basically saying is just be mine. Yeah. Just be mine. I love you. I want you for myself. I want you to be everything to me. And I'll in return be just as supportive as a partner.
Starting point is 01:08:43 Exactly. And slut you out. Nice. I think it's a great balance. I think that this Rocky record is going to be one of those songs this summer where they're going to be shaking a lot of ass to it. you know, if they could shake their ass to the future and the shit he's saying, they could definitely shake their ass
Starting point is 01:09:00 to being called a cunt all summer. It's hard to catch one of these type of records. I mean. It's hard to catch one of these type of records that sounds like this that both men and women will like equally. That's very difficult to do. When you have this type of sound,
Starting point is 01:09:16 you'll either typically just get the dudes or you'll have to go fully women on it. This is something that men and the number. Women can sing together. Some people on the Internet saying they don't like the record. Oh, well, they're bugging. I mean, you know, I think people have to be in certain environments to appreciate music. I think this is if you were listening to like Damaris says, she was listening to one AirPods in and she didn't like it.
Starting point is 01:09:39 I think you have to give this to dual AirPods. I just, you was playing it off your iPhone. I was like, what is that? Yeah. No, I like it. I like the record. Like I said, it sounds like Rocky. The video is super dope.
Starting point is 01:09:50 So, yeah, this is a good way for him to come back. Strong way for him to come back. This is really strong or strong comeback record for Rocky And I mean it helps like Just when you have Rihanna in the video But yeah I mean that that always helps
Starting point is 01:10:00 But he but hey Did he didn't just make a I have the ability to put Rihanna In my video type video Like no no no They really The video itself could not have Rihanna And it'd be incredible
Starting point is 01:10:10 Yeah yeah That's a really good video Uh salute to Rocky Man this is a strong comeback for him Y'all think Steve you wonder Cause see I've been said that though No
Starting point is 01:10:19 I just seen it I came across a picture of him on Twitter holding a camera, like a digital camera, like, to the eye hole. Like he was taking a picture. Because he was looking through the lens. Well, Stevie Wonder knows where his eyeball is. Right. He's been playing off the fact that people think he can see forever.
Starting point is 01:10:37 He's been doing that for years. Stevie one has a sense of humor. He's blind. I can promise you that. He cannot see. That's a sick rollout if you just lie about being blonde. He's been blonde to see him as a child. Like, he can't see.
Starting point is 01:10:49 Like, literally blind. I just feel like Ray Charles' mannerisms were just a little bit different. Well, Ray Charles was different because he wasn't born blind. Like, Ray Charles gradually became blind as a kid. Stevie Wonder was born blind. And he still gives off more blind vibes than Stevie do. Ray Charles? Yeah, and he had seen before.
Starting point is 01:11:05 The bad or blind is this fucking. He had seen before and still gave off way more blind vibes than Stevie ever have. Stevie gives C vibes. Well, because that's interesting because, I mean, it would be, I think that it's because the fact that he actually never could see that he actually, so it's a natural thing for him. It's a natural thing for him to hold up a digital camera if he never saw a digital camera before, put his hand on the lens and go like he's going to take a picture of somebody. I'm pretty sure someone helped them. Of course. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:34 Stevie Wonder has been doing this for years. He knows that people think he can see that he like he hears all of this shit. Like he knows people think that he. He was coming out of time where like being blind was kind of the thing. It was kind of ill for the singers to be blind. No, it was the same way. It's the same way. It's the same way.
Starting point is 01:11:49 Back then in the fucking 50s. That was not the cool thing to do. Same way you have to join a gang. now to become a rapper. Like, it's just the thing. I think at that time, you know... I can promise you that was not the cool thing to do with it. That was not the cool thing back.
Starting point is 01:12:02 Blind was popping at that time. No, it was not. Absolutely not. It was not. Stevie Wonder is blind. But I do love the fact that he has fun with that and he trolls himself and does silly. I think one year he did something,
Starting point is 01:12:14 I think, with a basketball or something like that. I don't know if he, like, shot, took a shot. No, he fucked around and got a triple double. Like, he was... He was bawling He was setting screen His court vision was crazy Wow
Starting point is 01:12:30 Y'all is sick man Hey and BET I don't know what y'all are doing but y'all still have not given Stevie Wonder Lifetime Achievement Award I mean he only has
Starting point is 01:12:40 vocals of Luther Vandrel singing background for him I don't know how many other artists can say he have that What are they waiting on? I have no idea so many people have gotten Lifetime Achievement Awards
Starting point is 01:12:50 before Stevie Wonder and he's been achieving in his life way before half of these people were even born. So I don't know what BET is doing, but we need to honor Stevie Wonder why we still have him so that he can have his flywheres while he's here. Speaking of inducting,
Starting point is 01:13:04 can we pull up the list to who just got inducting into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? I saw that Eminem did. Congratulations. Congrats to Eminem. Well fucking deserved. But I know there was a list of a lot of people. It is Dolly Parton,
Starting point is 01:13:19 Pat Benatar. Duran Duran, Eminem, I'm going to butcher this. Eurithmic's, Lionel Richie and Carly Simon. Oh, shout out to Carly Simon. Lionel Richie wasn't in the rock and roll of Fame, boy? It's not. I thought, I thought Lion would be first ballot. Just get him in there now.
Starting point is 01:13:40 What are they going to change that name? The rock and roll? Yeah. I mean, I get it, but. Should it be recording Hall of Fame? Yeah. That doesn't sound like a hit's that hard, though. Recording.
Starting point is 01:13:52 Recording Hall of Fame. Rock and the recording artists. The music Hall of Fame? Music Hall of Fame sounds. When you open it to Music Hall of Fame, then you open it to Musicians. Like musicians, musicians. A lot of musicians. No, no, no.
Starting point is 01:14:08 I mean, like musician, musician, like violinists, people who sit there and play the harp, those are musicians, even if they don't sing. All right, artist, Hall of Fame. Yeah. Musical artist Hall of Fame. Recording artists. None of that does it. I think this is why it's rock and roll.
Starting point is 01:14:22 You can't say. But rock and roll, rock and roll narrows it down to just that genre of music. Well, I think that's how it started, no? Yeah, I started like that. But then I guess it's almost probably just symbolic. You know, when things are rock and roll. It's just funny that that genre is fucking dead. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:38 They'll be. Who are they going to induct? Into the rock and roll hall of fame? Billy Elish. Play white T's. Green Day? Are they already in there? Probably.
Starting point is 01:14:51 Green Day should definitely be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Is Blink 182 in there? Once we get past that era, what rock and roll acts are going to be put in the rock and roll hall of thing? Okay, so Green Day is definitely there. I wouldn't think that Blink 182 is in there. Blink 182 has to be in a rock and roll hall of fame. Why, though?
Starting point is 01:15:06 Blink 182? They just became eligible, actually. Oh, there you go. In 2020. Wait, what do you mean? Why? Why should Eminem be in there? No, what I'm saying is.
Starting point is 01:15:15 Because his arms are ready. Because he's not afraid. His palms are sweaty. Knees weak. To take the stage. Arms are heavy. There's vomit on the sweat. already.
Starting point is 01:15:23 Mall spaghetti. He's nervous. But on the surface, he looks calm and ready. He didn't at all, by the way. Just want to note in the movie. He did not look like that on the surface. That's why that gentleman was going through it. It's in the rock and roll hall of fame.
Starting point is 01:15:37 Yo. Because his palms are sweat. When I said Blink 182. I was offended by that. I'm not downplaying them. What I'm saying is if Lionel Richie is just now going in, if Carly Simon is just now going. in. Duran Duran is just now going
Starting point is 01:15:55 in. What made you think Blink 182 just been in there? Because it's the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the white. And they're rock and roll. You're right. I figured like all rock and roll actions just put them in right away and then we all have to fight and argue for Jay Z to be in there. Also there is so to become eligible for the induction
Starting point is 01:16:11 it has to be also 25 years after the release of their first recording. That makes a lot of them. So that's probably also another good reason. Oh, I would just lie. My mistake was in 97. Well, then in that case, Lionel Ritchie should have been in there. Yeah, technically, yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:26 Duran Duran. I'm sure his first release was in the 80s. I'm almost positive. No, we're fucking... Lionel Ritchie, maybe the 70s. Late 70s, maybe Lionel might have put his first recording out. I mean, if you go with the group, too, yeah, it would definitely be the 70s. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:42 Well, congrats to all of the inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I'm pretty sure that is a... Because, yeah, if you count Commodore shit, It might have been the 40s Why are you making Lionel that old, man Lionel looks fucking great He does So yeah
Starting point is 01:16:59 Congratulations to all inductees Into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Congratulations to all of those Who are now eligible He climbed on the ceiling before anybody He did All those exorcism Exorcism movies just stole from Lionel Richie
Starting point is 01:17:13 I feel like They stole from him Okay Why you say that? I'm rolling I did anyone walk on the walls or the ceiling before then before Lionel did it.
Starting point is 01:17:23 I'm almost sure they did. Maybe. I was wrong about Kimmy. I mean, they made it a hot line. He made it a hot song. I get it. I understand what you're going on with it. The best man is getting a reboot as a series. Original cast on Peacock. What's it about? Hey, Diggs just told us it was coming.
Starting point is 01:17:44 Oh, if I was, um, if I was Shorty, I would be pissed. You killed me on Christmas. Now I can't do the reboot. Yo. You know. Now she can't be with the cast She got to just be dead Where does it go from Where does that story go though That's I don't know
Starting point is 01:18:02 Like is he gonna read Is he gonna find a stepmom for his kids Like Peacock has ordered a 10 episode Limited Drama Dramity series And you already know The best man in the final chapters You already know he's gonna be like a correspondent
Starting point is 01:18:15 Final chapters He's gonna be like Stephenette He's gonna be sideline reporter He's not playing the war sideline reporter Um It's definitely gonna be somebody in there that's like heavy on drugs now. They got to put drug use.
Starting point is 01:18:26 Somebody's going to come out as gay. Oh, for sure. You got it. You have to. You have to come out as gay on these new shows. Is she still dating the white dude? Is he in the original cast? He wasn't original cast.
Starting point is 01:18:39 Well, I know he wasn't original, but he was. He's in the last ones. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know. Was it Best Man Holiday? Yeah. Which, as I'll admit it, guilty pleasure. That movie is really good.
Starting point is 01:18:51 It's a really good movie. Thank you. But it's like, I. good movie. When I watch it alone, I feel insecure that I like it so much. Like, if you watch it with a chick, that's fine. But, like, I be in the crib alone watching Best Man Holiday. Well, maybe you're the best man for yourself.
Starting point is 01:19:04 Like, my man just doesn't feel the same. You're your best man. Do you cry when she does? It's a thug tear. Yeah. A thug tear. Just one tier. That's it.
Starting point is 01:19:15 Yes, there's some onions in there. And I'm always like, will he break the record for her? You know, you definitely say One more yard I see you definitely be in the house saying that to you so definitely And you see it already You know what happens
Starting point is 01:19:30 And you still ask yourself And I do the choreography for Can You Stay in the Ring with them It's almost blast me if you don't You have to get up and do it Do you have to? Come on, are you kidding me? Every man has to get up and do that
Starting point is 01:19:41 By the way Why didn't they beat that girl's ass During that? That's why that movie wasn't realistic to me Oh my God She threw her panties at her husband in front of her
Starting point is 01:19:51 and they all laughed and was like Christmas like fam you get in your ass you throw in the same house she needed her ass they was all standing in the same house yes can you imagine any girl you've dated another girl that you've also fucked was sitting next to her at the couch
Starting point is 01:20:09 and you was singing new addition and she threw her panties at you well you know what that's just so much her personality that's so much her personality that like it don't even phase her because like she's always been wild like so like they don't have been paying her no attention but when she called her a wild ass dick sucking whore
Starting point is 01:20:28 in front of her kids sometimes the kids would get that was a little extreme that was like all right man come on in front of the kids y'all doing this you can't do this in front of the kids man but either way that I want to see that though if they're using the original cast for those 10 episodes
Starting point is 01:20:43 I'm super excited I do want to see that I'm interested to see what they do with that have you guys been watching this is us you know that this is the last season No, I fell off of a disres. I love it though. I love it. It got boring for a second, but then it got good.
Starting point is 01:20:56 It got born for a second, then it got good. The first, like, three seasons? Oh, my God. That's TV. Yeah. The last season, it's during their last season right now, and I was up, actually, until 515, watching it this morning because I had, you know, Twitter, they go on there and they start spoiling shit for you.
Starting point is 01:21:14 But, yeah, it had me crying, a couple of thugs tears. Question, I've never watched this. and I'm sure some people haven't either. So what is this is us about? Which TV you watched it on? You said what? Which TV did you watch it on? I watched it on my phone.
Starting point is 01:21:27 I don't want to wake you. Because Aunt hit all my TV remotes. And I figured that out this morning. Why do you hide them? Because he was trying to embarrass them. No, he was trying to embarrass me. And when you're trying to embarrass someone, don't also have some embarrassing shit in your closet too.
Starting point is 01:21:44 Because I'm going to tell it. Oof. Why is hiding the remote's embarrassing? for you. Because what was embarrassing was on the TV of him. So he hid my remotes and I didn't know that and I was looking this morning. I was like, where did, does someone steal my TV remotes? He hid them in the, in the bathroom.
Starting point is 01:21:59 Okay. And also, yeah, I was watching something on the TV. Oh, he really hid them in the bathroom? Yes. That's really funny. Text me at like 1 p.m. Have you tried to watch TV today? I was like, wait. And it all clicked. Now that you say that, yeah. I have, but I can't. Oh, my God. But then, no, I watched it
Starting point is 01:22:17 on my phone. But yeah. So This Is Us is a show on NBC. If you're in any way in tune with pop culture, you have to know it. You have to have at least heard of This Is Us. Yeah. One of the greatest shows, easily. It is a drama series that follows a family of triplets and their parents and all of their lives. One of them were adopted.
Starting point is 01:22:39 Throughout a span of 50 years, yes. Triplets, one of the triplets was adopted. It's a beautiful story and you should definitely go watch. But it switches with the same actors. It switches between the past, the peasant, and the future, and the way they tie everything together is really beautiful. One of the best written shows ever. Yeah, if you haven't seen it, check.
Starting point is 01:22:56 What season are they on now? The final season, I think it's either eight or six. Yeah, I thought of off. I thought of off early. You just eight and six? I know. You ever remember, like, a number, like, you know that it's an even number, you just don't know what number it is.
Starting point is 01:23:09 Okay. Like, I know it's not seven. I think that's called dyslexia. Is that what that's called? That's when you... The letters are jumbled. Flip numbers and letters and shit. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:18 Flip, okay. Not for like money, like they move around. I do that with a nine and six. Oh. When I'm playing Uno, I don't know which one is a nine or six. No, you're one of those fucking cheaters that thinks if I throw this six down quick enough, no one's going to realize that there's three nines in there too. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:23:36 You got to get that off. What do you mean? You kidding me? Oh, I pay attention that shit. Yeah, you got to get that off. The moment somebody starts, uh-uh, lay them down one by one. Yeah, do you guys stacking Uno? Yeah, I'll stack.
Starting point is 01:23:45 Is that not a thing? Some people do not like to stack. Who do you play with? Who does you play with? Who knows rules, by the way? Trash people. Yeah, you got a stack. Come on, stacking numbers and colors.
Starting point is 01:23:53 Yeah. You know we got to take everything and make it on. You don't stack colors. Like you can't just throw all your reds down. Yeah. No, no, no. Stack numbers, yeah, for sure. Not like draw cards.
Starting point is 01:24:02 Somebody tried that. That's just hilarious. Like, you can't put all these reds. They let me go on the record right now here and say, in black people households, you can put a draw four on drop of a draw two and it can be a draw six, but you cannot put a draw two on top of a draw four
Starting point is 01:24:16 to avoid drawing. to draw four and then make it a draw six. No. That's kind of whack. That's common knowledge. If someone else plays otherwise, then I can't be right. Because people are like, well, what Uno came out and said, I don't go to fuck what Uno came out of.
Starting point is 01:24:27 I said, Uno doesn't know their own rules. So you can put a, you can put a draw four on top of a draw two. Of course, you put a draw four on top of a four? You can't put a draw four. You can't put a draw two on top of a draw four. I guess it doesn't, I guess it doesn't throw a draw four in two. You can't put a draw two and be like, hey, draw six. No, no, go to hell.
Starting point is 01:24:42 I mean, I do know some people that play it. It's a draw card either way. So they let you do that. I do know some people that play a day. A draw is a draw. But I get it. One is a higher draw. I get it.
Starting point is 01:24:51 But if you got to pull card, just like, yeah, you can pull two more than. Like, I know people that play at that. But it's, you know, it's subjective to where you from, city, state, you know. I get it. When you can't play, do you pick up one or do you pick until you can play? I pick so I play. Only serial killers pick so they can play. Oh, I do pick to play.
Starting point is 01:25:10 Nah. That pick up one shit is cool. That's for amateurs. Yeah. Pick up one and if you don't, you can, if you don't, if it's nothing you could throw out, you can play it just goes to the next person. No. He's saying you take that whole deck until you get some shit.
Starting point is 01:25:22 Until you get something you play. Yeah. Nah, I'm not jacking that. That's crazy. That's how you made the game last. Yeah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. You play like that? Yeah, you make the game last like that.
Starting point is 01:25:32 Then you got a whole book in your hand. Yeah, so enjoy the projects when they sit in there plucking every car from the deck. Yeah, but now they got so many cards where you have to draw a fucking 20. Oh, I hate that new. Oh, the ones we can write the rules in? Yeah, draw 70. Fem, I. Yo, my little sister are gonna be wild
Starting point is 01:25:46 and they'll say some shit, like take five shots or draw 20 cards. It's like, I don't want to do either. I quit. Oh, low. Low has his own personalized Uno deck where it's like,
Starting point is 01:25:54 call your ex-girl. Like, he went crazy with it. But call your ex-girl. Fah, we're not doing that. No, I don't have a number. You call her. I don't even have a fucking number. But that whole like swap hands thing now,
Starting point is 01:26:09 like I can't get that. Oh, I hate that. Oh, my God. I hate that. Because I'm going to fight you. Like if I'm about to win You have two cards The whole deck
Starting point is 01:26:17 And then you're like Oh swap I'm gonna go home Are you guys fans of Jenga? Yeah I guess Jenga's cool For like something to do When you got the drunk bitches
Starting point is 01:26:26 At your crib I really think Jenga I would not want to play Jenga With drunk bitches It doesn't go very far Yeah Yeah you gotta have steady hands For that shit
Starting point is 01:26:34 I think Jenga I take risk on Jenga I'm pretty good at it Yeah We gotta have like a game night Yeah but you gotta show up I show up to a game night. Wow.
Starting point is 01:26:46 What you mean? I show up to a game night. It was one birthday, Rory. It's one birthday. I'm joking. Who are going to be on my taboo team? Because I take that shit seriously. I'll try you.
Starting point is 01:26:54 I'm taboo king, first and foremost. So then she'll be taboo. First and foremost. I'm taboo king and taboo. I'm king taboo. All right. What's your average points? What do you guarantee no matter what each turn that you do?
Starting point is 01:27:08 At least eight. You're good for eight? At least eight. Eight. Because I know how to explain things without really saying shit. Yeah. Yeah, but that can also, it depends who you're talking to. Well, yeah, that's why you got to pick a very, you got to have a very good team.
Starting point is 01:27:22 Because it's like, all right, I'm making this as simple as possible, and y'all are just stupid. So, yeah, you're right about that. Yeah, I think I'm, what, seven plus? I'm good for a seven. Okay. I'm not too bad at it. I just try to, when we're picking teams, pick people that I know I have, like, inside. Common sense.
Starting point is 01:27:39 Yeah. You just need, if you got one person with common sense, you good, because you really only need two people for taboo. You need one. Because if you have one person on your team that's like common sense, it's like, all right, fan, we're going to run it up. Some people are really bad guesses. Some people are really, really bad guessers. Some people are really, really badgers.
Starting point is 01:27:55 I definitely form some. You got to have some common sense. I form resentment towards some partners in my past because it's Abu. Definitely. Like when you do like the couples, they're like, come on. Because you realize you're making us look bad. You're like, you're a stupid motherfucker. Like, you got to
Starting point is 01:28:10 just say, like, I'm with a dumb ass nigga. Like, this nigg is stupid. Like, you know, this is my girl. Like, yo, you're stupid. We're both competitive too. We'd be arguing and my little sister be like, I don't want to play with y'all anymore. And you know women are terrible at explaining things. See?
Starting point is 01:28:25 I wasn't going to say. And you know they get frustrated when you can't read their mind. So they'll be sitting there with taboo giving you the worst fucking hints ever. And then they start getting frustrated mad at you'm like, baby, you're not saying anything. I just want to let you know. You haven't said of words yet. And now you're fucking have steam coming out of your ears because in your head it makes sense. And it's always fun playing with the couple
Starting point is 01:28:43 that you know it's kind of going through something. Oh, yeah. And like when they don't get it, it's like, oh, but you knew what that bitch was where she was going to be at the other night. Wow. Like, what they got to do? We're in the crib playing taboo.
Starting point is 01:28:53 Like, why y'all bringing y'all shit in here? Like, oh, you didn't get that hint, but you got the hint that that bitch was going to be at the car. And I'm petty too. I'll be like trying to get up like, yo, the color, the color, Shorty, who picture you like 15 times? The color, her favorite color.
Starting point is 01:29:06 She always wearing that color. See, see, see, you can't do. And then he comes out. I was purple and now I got to fight you because now you're going to talk about it. Oh, because now you remember the color. Now's a whole other fight. You see the games woman play? Or what if what if he replied with, well, she changes it up all the time, unlike you.
Starting point is 01:29:20 Ooh. He likes the same-ass fucking air style. He liked. He liked to not sleep in that. I get it. I want peace. You love chaos. I want to be able to sleep.
Starting point is 01:29:28 Rory don't like to sleep. I'm not playing those girls. Never say that. Never. In other news. I'm busy in my relationships. Nipsey Hustles suspected killer Eric Holder gets a new trial date. Nipsey also was gunned down in March 2019, and three years later, his suspected killer has yet to go to trial.
Starting point is 01:29:45 But according to the Los Angeles Criminal Court calendar, Eric Holder, will stand before a judge and jury on June 2nd. A readiness hearing often referred to as a pretrial conference or settlement conference, a court proceeding where the defense counsel and prosecutor discussed the facts of a criminal case and either agreed to resolve the case or not is scheduled for May 19th. As noted on the website, he will appear at the Claris Short Ridge, Fault's Criminal Justice Center in Los Angeles, California. Deputy Public Defender Aaron Jansen says Holder was experiencing a substantial mental health issue following the death of his mother and was off his medication a day of the shooting. You're ready to see where they're trying to spend this and how they're trying to angle this whole unfortunate tragic situation that occurred three years ago.
Starting point is 01:30:28 But either way, Eric Holder will be going to trial in a couple of months. I feel like Chris Darden just kind of disappeared. Yeah. So then him just randomly popping up and taking that high profile case was just fucking weird. Well, because he lost that OJ trial that case.
Starting point is 01:30:45 He lost that. So he looked at this as a way to kind of get his name, maybe, I don't know, back into the pool of high profile lawyers. I don't know. Very odd. But that was just weird.
Starting point is 01:30:57 Yeah, in 2020, actually, he stepped down from that. He actually had a Facebook post announcing his withdrawal. Yeah. I do remember reading that. Jack Harlow was sad about the Drake song leak
Starting point is 01:31:09 or no, Drake was sad about the song leaking with him and Jack Harlow. I don't know why. Who leaked it? Ma. No, I definitely did not leak it. Drake said it hurt my feelings. I'm really tight about leaks.
Starting point is 01:31:26 I don't bounce my music so I haven't had leaks in a long time. I don't ride to my music while I'm working on an album. The only time we get to experience it is in the studio. Drake was sad too. He kind of, you know, nudged me like, hey, don't trip. This was meant to happen. I think his experience, he let me know, like, you think this is going to affect your life?
Starting point is 01:31:46 It's fine. He added, I felt the energy shift after hanging out with Drake for sure. Or when you do an interview, they're going to bring it up. So obviously, Jack was sad. I don't think he was, because he ended up putting another verse. So wait, Drake was saying he doesn't bounce music and hasn't had any leaks? No, Jack was saying that. I was going to say.
Starting point is 01:32:02 And then Drake was like, you know. Damn, they're all certified lover boy. leaked two years prior. Yeah. I mean, for artists like Drake a leak doesn't matter. Leaks can't affect certain artists. It can. Mentally. It could fuck with your process.
Starting point is 01:32:18 I should admit. Yeah, but I mean, is it going to affect me? Okay, that, but I mean, it's not going to affect these sales. It's not going to affect no, not that. Not that, but I feel like, especially with that certified level, that's why I actually felt for Drake. Because so many of those records leaked
Starting point is 01:32:34 and they were incomplete. and then I heard the complete version on Certified Loverboy, and I know that fucked with him. Like, you're getting half of a record that I'm still working on and now it's to the world. Yeah, it's going to fuck up my process. Well, yeah, maybe the recording process, but, you know, ultimately the song comes out
Starting point is 01:32:52 anyway, people stream it, people listen to it. Yeah, for sure. It comes out. I don't think it affects artists like Drake. I could just see the mentality of like, it's out. Like, why even work on this anymore because they have the fucking leaked version?
Starting point is 01:33:03 It's not done. I can see Jack being upset about that because he's a newer artist. And this is like, you know, his first, I think, Drake feature. Yeah. And I'm pretty sure he wanted this to be like a surprise, you know, play that card. I would have been livid if I was Jared. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:33:16 I understand Jack Harlow being. I would have been super upset. Upset at that. But good record. And I'm hearing Jack added more, more bars to that. I'm glad he did because his felt, in comparison to Drake's verse, super short. Yeah. So.
Starting point is 01:33:33 I feel like it's going to still be not up to far. I mean, well, I don't think Jake can rap Jack can rap better than Drake, no. But he does need to put some more Jack Hollow can rap. Right. But that verse was in the league, his verse was way too short though.
Starting point is 01:33:48 Oh, for sure. Where are we at with time? We're a good time. We could head out if you guys would like. What's the time at? 140. And I'm like, listen, I got to go change it to my sombrero. Y'all didn't see Benzino in the car
Starting point is 01:34:08 rapping to his new, his new shit. He has another record. The new new record? No, nobody saw Benzino on a car rapping to his new shit. No, no. No, we can't, we can't. We got to.
Starting point is 01:34:18 Let's watch it first. Yeah, I have to see this. Is it the same song that I play for Benzino versus the world? Is it that song, though? He called Eskos and new shit bend the block or some shit. I'm sorry, what?
Starting point is 01:34:30 Yeah, no, you're going to get these bars. Don't trip. Do not trip. You don't get all these bars. The Zeno bars. Hey, yo. Zeno bars is funny. Where Zeno at?
Starting point is 01:34:42 Hold, let me find Zeno for y'all niggas that's hating. Oh, and if he put like a X-N-X bar but put Zeno, but instead of the Z, he used the X because it makes the same. Why am I not on somebody's team? No, that's why. That's exactly. Do you think he could get a coy feature? That might take him to the top.
Starting point is 01:35:03 No, this is what they was all saying. It was like, yo, fam, just let your daughter do the rap. Did you make that pun on purpose? Huh? Did you make that pun on purpose? Don't mind me. Oh, that was good. Everything was great.
Starting point is 01:35:12 You got lonely at the top Where's Zeno at? Where are you searching? On IG where the video was at? Definitely just searched on Bing and didn't come up Nah, they didn't take Zeno down You never saw it, Ma. Nah, y'all tripping, hold on.
Starting point is 01:35:30 He is tight about Eminem being in the Rock and the Hall of Fame. We don't find this right here, right now. Y'all got Zeno twisted. Please stop calling him that. That's just... The Ben's... Now you're hating on his name. See?
Starting point is 01:35:41 Wait, where is this fucking video at? I can't believe you. I didn't see this shit. I thought I saved it. Because I was like, yo, this nigga looks so awkward, isn't this shit? Like, he think he looked cool. He took his glasses off. Oh, here it go.
Starting point is 01:36:16 Okay. I'm rolling. It's that new Benzino. Hey. Hey when that happens. He's a lot. He's about to die. Why?
Starting point is 01:36:41 You could leave the black, bro. Oh, he took a lot. the glasses off. What? Hey, I'm on the aisle with somebody, bitch. Period. Ooh, that's about to be my next picture, caption. I guess that shit's kind of hard.
Starting point is 01:37:16 You know, I never sit here and, uh, all right. Benzino is too old for this shit. Well, my favorite part was the beginning when he was trying to act all nonchalant. Like, you know, you don't even know what's about to come on. You can't, you can't be rapping like this at this age with a Bluetooth in your ear. But he did this. when he was rapping. No, he was showing the...
Starting point is 01:37:38 I saw him. He was in guns. He had 100 of them. I don't like to put age, you know, caps on rap and the genre and all of that. I hate doing that because no other genre does that. But I think rap has a age limit. I do. I just...
Starting point is 01:37:58 Especially if you're like still trying to be... Like, if you're aging well and accepting your age and talking about different things, like Benzino is too old to still... You're talking about spinning the... block, showing up with 100 K's. And Benzino is, you know, if you know his history, you know, he's, listen, he's probably not lying. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:38:16 I'm not doubting that. I don't think people really know that about him. But yeah, you have a daughter that's in music now who has an album out, that's, you know, doing things. She would probably smoke that. He should, that should be the reference. Well, this is what I'm saying. It's just he shouldn't be rapping that.
Starting point is 01:38:31 He shouldn't be rapping and performing that in the car while his homeboy is driving. It's just not, you pass that. That window is gone, Benzino. You're an elder statesman in the culture. You should be doing things. Yeah, like you're an older guy. Benzino's how old, Edin, at least, 48, at least, maybe? I think he's at 51 now.
Starting point is 01:38:50 51? He is 56. Benzino's 56? All right, scratch everything I just said, Ed, and you can delete all of that. Benzino, you're too old for this shit. You're 56 years old. You should not be rapping about spinning the block with 100Ks. And listen, I know your history.
Starting point is 01:39:06 I know you, listen, I'm. I'm not saying it was never a thing. It's your 56 now. You should just be at a different place and a pace of your life. He wasn't mad at the 100Ks he was coming with. I was more upset that a 56-year-old would be prioritizing their time by being on the block for 100 days straight. At 56, you should be focused on your 401K, not 100Ks.
Starting point is 01:39:29 You should be focused on your 401K. You should be worried about helping the younger men achieve their goals and their dreams. And I just don't think it's fiscally responsible that I think it's great you have 100K in the safe. But then you brought 100K to the club after you just caught a body. Shot somebody.
Starting point is 01:39:47 So you should probably lay low. It's probably lay low for a while. It's just not. Just think maybe you should hold on to that other 100K for legal fees, for the body that was just caught. Right, right. And if you only have 200K,
Starting point is 01:40:01 and I'm sure Benzino is more than that, but in the song, he technically, his net worth is 200K. I wouldn't take half of my net worth to the club after a body. Yeah, no. He's just too old for that type of content, I think. You shouldn't be in the car with a jersey on, showing your biceps with a Bluetooth phone,
Starting point is 01:40:24 rapping about spinning a block with 100Ks, and you just caught a body or caught a case, and now you're in the club ordering the case. And it's funny that the Bluetooth also wasn't connected because he was playing with a lot. I mean, it's just... And also, I just think it's so fucking humiliating because you weren't trying to do all this rap and shit
Starting point is 01:40:43 before your daughter started getting big. It's giving parental jealousy. That's what it's getting. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on. I'm not going to let you. He's recently been rapping. Benzino has recently been rapping. I am not going to let you. 56 years old is too old to be talking like that, though.
Starting point is 01:41:00 I'm going to be honest. And I hate putting ageism on hip-hop, but come on, dog. At 56, you should be... You're not about to disrespect Benzino. He's been doing this. Yeah, this is years old. This is when he was probably 36. Exactly, he was 36.
Starting point is 01:41:21 See, you already bobbing in. Yeah, but he's only doing all of this right now because of Koi, and we all know it. And it's very weird to watch. And that was a, what was it? Streetball, what was the video game? Streetball. That was the one. That was the one.
Starting point is 01:41:36 They ain't let you not listen to that song when Yeah, but at 56, come on man, you're supposed to be rapping about, you know, real estate. You're a crisp pair of jeans, like a button and up. Not even that. You're supposed to be wrapping my real estate portfolios, you know, getting your prostate checked. Getting these tons.
Starting point is 01:41:54 Yeah, I agree. When's the last time either of you got your prostate check? Outside of Rory where you's just is done fairly often. Maul, when did you get your prostate check? I've never, I have one scheduled for this year. You do? Yeah. You want to come with you?
Starting point is 01:42:06 No. Could we? Like as a supportive friend. There's this content. You want to watch the doctor, check my prostate? We just want to be supportive. Text me in the group chat. I'll let you know how everything's going in the group chat.
Starting point is 01:42:19 Support me through tech. I don't want anybody in the fucking hospital with me while I'm getting my prostate. Well, there needs to be a witness. Oh, so you're doing the bendin. So, yes, I am the patient. It's a joke. In case maybe a nurse isn't available because she's doing another thing, I could be the witness. Yeah, there needs to be a nurse.
Starting point is 01:42:37 You can't get a prostate check myself. You think I'm going to any hospital where a nurse isn't available and letting them still, like, check my prostate, it's not happening. Sometimes I get busy. It's COVID. Anyway, yes, so I have one schedule for this year, get my prostate examined. And, yeah, so that's what Benzino should be encouraging men to do. Take care of your health. At 56, you shouldn't be bent in the block.
Starting point is 01:42:59 Miner, if you are over 35, please go get your prostate check. Please get your prostate check. Look at how algorithms work. literally now just now look at the video that just pops up immediately when I open yeah Zeno just Zeno chilling
Starting point is 01:43:11 bin the block bin the block Jesus fuck I'm gonna put that banner in my phone listen man so yeah I don't know I'm crying that his man's was not
Starting point is 01:43:23 bopping his head and then when he moved to camera his man just started bobbing his head after yeah you just like all right let me support my guy like he playing this bullshit in my car I don't want to hear this shit but yeah man I don't know
Starting point is 01:43:34 know, man. I hate putting the cap on the age as far as hip hop goes and rappers and all that, but 56 is a little too old to be talking like that. That's all I'm saying. He's going to be mad when he wants to tweet us in response to this and realize that he has us all blocked already. He definitely got me blocked. We talked about that. Shout out to West Side Boogie. Yo, Boogie shit on colors is incredible. Shout out the West Side Boogie. His colors performance was super dope. I love what Boogie's doing all his visual stuff now. switch three different outfits with colors.
Starting point is 01:44:05 Like, that shit was genius to me. Yeah. Love what y'all doing. Shout out the LVR in. Yeah, man. Anything else? I think, I'm not going to say where I'm going to go this weekend. Yeah, not.
Starting point is 01:44:16 But I think... You'll be moving around this weekend. You'll be out there in the streets. I will be. Yeah, man, I'll just be... Catch worry in a hood near you. No, I won't be in the hood at all. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers.
Starting point is 01:44:28 Happy Mother's Day, guys. We love you all. We appreciate the mothers that... do mother things that take care of their mother responsibilities, not the mothers that have children and leave them at grandma's house all the time so they could throw ass in in the club. We don't, we don't appreciate those mothers. Hot take, y'all can say I'm protected women, but if I push a baby out of my vagina, you can wish me Happy Mother's Day. I don't care if I never see it again.
Starting point is 01:44:50 Nah, that's not. You got me twisted. Yeah, that's not a, that's not. You don't get a happy money issues too. Yeah, we don't wish those, we don't wish those mothers happy Mother's Day. We got to go to LA Spark. Yeah, we got to go to LA Spark. You love the LA Spark. great team hope they get it done this year oh you're still about basketball happy mother's day seriously oh happy mother's day to all the loving caring mothers out there y'all are our superheroes
