In the fall of 1986, Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal
that looked like it might bring down his presidency.
It became known as the Iran-Contra affair.
The things that happened were so bizarre and insane,
I can't begin to tell you.
Please do.

now that's my dog.
Me and this dude go, if y'all want to do this, if y'all want to do this,
I'll do it.
We ain't telling you it's going to wear everybody glasses.
If y'all want to do it.
Now, during the season, I didn't bother.
But once the season's been over, I've been on his phone.
We've been talking every day.
That's my dog.
You know it.
Coach Prime, the greatest quarterback of all time,
one of the top five defenders in NFL
history.
Top five?
Top five?
Top five.
How you gonna talk about five? How you gonna put me
in the top five?
The last thing they heard was five.
You can't do that.
You jump at LT?
Eh?
I'm supposed to be scared of LT?
This goes to the LT?
You remember the last time?
Tell them where we from.
Where we from?
Hey, you remember the last time we was at the Hall of Fame,
and I got on LT and Ricky Jack, we started joining backstage.
But we'll save that for a little later in the show.

Make sure you go out and get yourself a bottle or for someone that you love.
Time, we're going to jump right into it. the Ravens beat the Jags 23-7 the Ravens improved to 11 and 4-4 clinch a playoff berth
the Baltimore Ravens are have won 11 games this season for the first time since 2020
and for the third time in the last five years Lamar 14-24 171, one touchdown, one pick. Trevor Lawrence was 25 of 43, 264, one touchdown, two fumbles.
Tom, you watched this game.
What did you like about the Ravens?
I loved them defensively.
I loved them defensively.
They kept pressure on.
They got so many playmakers up front.
Linebackers run from sideline to sideline. Reminding you about Sugar, backers run from sideline to sideline.
Reminding you about Sugar,
you should run from sideline to sideline.
Right.
They don't make a lot of mistakes, man.
Defensively, they just don't make a lot of mistakes.
And when you have an offense, you know,
led by Lamar and they control the clock, man.
They keep possession.
It's tough to beat them.
It really is.
Because he is so capable of doing anything,
making a throw, making a run, extending the drive to get a first down.
I love what the Baltimore Ravens are doing right now.
It's not spectacular, but I love how they do what they do.
Ocho, and you watch, and you saw Lamar ran around for about three
or four seconds, maybe even five seconds,
throw the pass down the field, lively jumps up and catch it,
and the defensive guy just sitting down
and he looks up at Lamar like, damn, you did that.
I mean, come on.
I mean, he's looking at his sidelines,
looking at the team like, bro, I mean,
what am I supposed to do?
There's nothing you can do.
Lamar's special.
Lamar's dynamic.
What I like about Lamar and what he's done
is he's proved the doubters wrong
where everyone has said he is a running back.
He's a run first quarterback.
But this season, he's done something that we haven't seen him do consistently throughout the entirety of a season.
He showed that he can be a pocket passer first, he can process, make the reads he needs to make, and make all the throws, whether short, intermediate, or deep balls.
And the players
that he has are making the plays for him, as you saw tonight. And the funny thing about it is,
I could just sense the frustration in the defenders' faces. You got Lamar, you got him
tackled, you got him going down to the ground, and he's still getting the ball off and making
the passes and completing them. And obviously, them being number one in the AFC North,
rightfully so, based on their play the entire season.
When you look at Lamar, he should have been dispelled, that coach.
A long time ago. Because when you win the MVP, you throw 36 touchdowns,
you throw six picks, and you are unanimous.
There have only been two unanimous MVPs since they started voting for MVPs,
is he and Tom Brady.
So you're a unanimous MVP.
You're no longer a running back that can throw.
You're a quarterback that can run when necessary.
When you look at this team and the way they're constructed,
great special teams, Lamar Jackson is Lamar Jackson.
They can run the football.
We know they get off the bus, they're going to run the football.
We know that. Everybody knows that.
And their defense, you mentioned
sideline to sideline with the
linebackers, a defensive line that
doesn't have big names, but they can get relentless
pressure in the corners. You still have
Marlon Humphrey back there. Even though
your free safety, Hamilton didn't play. We know he's
a playmaker of free safety.
What do you like most about this Ravens
team and how far do you think they can go in the AFC?
I like them, but I don't love them.
Okay.
The reason I don't love them is because they do everything good,
but I don't see what they do great.
Okay.
And when you get to the playoffs and you get down to it,
you got to have a team that can stop the run and can run the ball.
They can do both.
But then it comes down to Lamar.
And that's why he gets criticized.
If he don't have one of those Lamar Jackson games,
we get critical because he has to put the whole entire offense and team on his back.
That's why he receives the criticism.
And it's not warranted because he plays fantastic
even when this is the only
MVP that we... How do you have
an MVP holding out for money?
It's true. Where they do that at?
Nowhere. It doesn't really make sense, but
that's the thing with
him. If he doesn't play great,
we put it all on him, not the rest
of his teammates. Right.
Ocho, what you thinking? What do you see?
What do you like?
What do you dislike?
Listen, I like what Prime said.
The Ravens do everything good.
They do everything great on defense, on the defensive side of the ball.
But once we get to the playoffs, you think about some of the team that they're going to have to see.
Some of the AFC offenses that can put up points.
We took about 28, 30-some points a game.
Will the Ravens be able to match that
even though their defense is good?
What happens if you get into a shootout?
What if it's a day where it's like the Cowboys,
where you have an off day defensively
and you have to rely on the offense
to be able to score points?
Where you're going against the goddamn Buffalo Bills
or you're going against people like the Chiefs
or the Dolphins for that matter.
So will you be able to have a shootout with a team like that?
So Lamar Jackson, not only Lamar has to be on,
so does that receiving core in Bateman, in Odell,
in Brothers A Flowers.
All the boys got to be on, including the tight ends.
Yeah, I agree with both of you.
I have to say the thing is that when you are more a run-dominant team,
the problem that you run into, especially in the playoff time,
and guys, you know this, if you fall behind,
how can you do this?
It's your offense for coming from behind.
We know if you get the lead, you can take
the air out of the ball, and you can keep a
Patrick Mahomes off the field. You can keep a
Tua off the field. You can keep a Josh
Allen off the field. But if you fall behind
10 or 14 points, and they
force you... That's the problem. If you fall behind,
if they fall behind,
everybody drops eight, or they
drop seven, man. You rush four,
and you make him hit the holes.
You drop into a zone. You don't play it,
man. You just drop into a zone and
make him have to
pinpoint that pass, and
that's when there's a problem. Although he can
throw. I don't know why they say he can't throw and he's
not accurate because he can.
But, you know, this is one thing
that's a question to me, man,
that rubbed me the wrong way.
And Chad, maybe you can help me with this one.
Yes, sir. You know, I love Lamar
and I think he's been criticized
unfairly and unjustifiably so.
But when he's your homie
that you grew up with,
like when he opts to go to another
team, man, that
right there, it made me say,
what's up with that?
I didn't know what was up with that.
When your boy opts to
go, you know,
to Arizona.
You talking about Hollywood?
I can tell you what that is.
But tell me.
Well, obviously, because Hollywood wanted to be more in a pass-first type offense.
You know?
Right.
You think about the Ravens.
The Ravens are a run-dominated, oriented offense.
Correct.
It has always been that way.
And I think the dynamic is what forced Hollywood to want to go somewhere
where he thought he would get the ball and get the opportunities.
But you see how that's conflicting,
how that makes other receivers around the league feel about Lamar.
And I love Lamar.
And I think he's that guy.
But when you see that, that makes someone say, yeah, why would I go there?
I'm not getting no numbers.
I'm not going to be – I'm not going to no go there? I'm not getting no numbers.
I'm not going to be, I'm not going no pro bowl.
I'm not going to be no all pro.
Like, and it just makes you think.
And I think it's unjustifiable.
That's why I'm hoping, I think they changed their thought process and they went in the draft and said, you know what?
We're not going to get around to free agency.
Right.
We got to draft.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Because guys want to catch...
Ty, you played 14 years. I played 14
years. Ocho, you played over decades.
As a wide receiver, blocking
his fight, you're like, hey, I want my running backs to get
long runs, but I'm a receiver.
I'm here to catch the ball.
But it goes to show me. Now,
I thought you wanted to win because
you know the Ravens was winning when Hollywood was there.
Now, he ain't come close to getting to,
I mean, he went to,
I think they went to the playoffs,
what, two years ago?
I think they lost.
They want to win nowadays
but they want to get paid too.
That's a new man now.
No, I want to win
and get my number, Ty.
Let me win and get a hundred catches.
1,300 yards.
Yeah.
I don't know if it's that way.
Win, then get the numbers.
I think it's get the numbers, then win.
It's a new play idea right now.
But you know what, guys?
Tell me if you're with me on this.
Lamar Jackson, so much is on his plate
that if he's off slightly, they're going to lose.
Brock Purdy can be off slightly,
but because he has a C-Mac, he has a D-Boat,
he has a Kittle, he has an Iuke, they can overcome it.
You look at Josh Allen.
Okay, I mean, I think he and Lamar showed us a lot more burden
than, say, a Brock Purdy or a Dak Prescott.
Because I think the biggest thing, and we're going to talk about the Cowboys,
is their inability to run the football,
and they miss Zeke a lot more than they thought they would.
But I think when I look at Lamar and i look at their team everything is contingent on him if he's off slightly they're not winning that's right but
you gotta understand man as much as given much is required okay we can't hand you a bag and
everything everything you need better be in the bag alright better be in that bag
that's just how it is
and that's what we expect from all these
handsomely paid quarterbacks because they've earned it
but you gotta produce
you gotta produce
I think the thing
right before we get off topic on Lamar
the thing with Lamar is he's so special
he's so special that there are certain
things and certain dynamics that happen
within a game that he can overcome.
That he can overcome.
If he's not playing perfect,
all he's going to need is for
Zay Flowers, Odell, and Rashad
Bateman to play consistent,
decent football for four quarters.
For four quarters.
The difference is, it's like the quarterback not playing.
Because here's the thing, the 49ers, they can run the football.
If Brock Purdy's having an off day,
Christian McCaffrey can run you out of the building.
He still can go get you
125, 130, and get you
two or three touchdowns. And
because they're not incumbent on them throwing the ball
down the field. Now, Purdy can throw the ball
down the field, but look how many swing passes
he give to Christian McCaffrey or Texas
Rod, he give McCaffrey and he all of a sudden
he's getting 10 yards or Debo. Don't forget
Debo. Please don't forget Debo.
Oh man, Debo is running
what's the balls in Debo's hands? Debo
is as good a receiver. And then they have
an all-pro tight end. Like, let's not
forget all these. No, let's not forget all these.
And then, you know, you got the whole
left side locked down with Big Trent. He
locking it all down.
But I just say, I won't
I hold Lamar because
the people say, well, Shannon, you're so hard on him. Bro,
he's an MVP. We're
supposed to be hard on MVPs.
There's only three.
You're not hard on him.
You have expectation.
You're not hard. You have high expectations.
That's what that is.
Do you realize there's only three current players in the NFL that are MVP?
Yeah.
Lamar, Patrick Mahomes, and no, Rodgers.
There's only three.
Oh, that's right.
That's right.
That's right.
So shouldn't the expectations be there for a unanimous MVP to be consistent?
Look, we're not expecting you to throw for 304 touchdowns every game,
but there has to be a level of expectations
given what you've already accomplished.
We can't say, well, Shannon, he's still young.
Bro, he's an MVP, a unanimous MVP.
He's been an all-pro.
He was selected by his peers as
the best player in the league one year.
So we can't regress because
things don't go his way.
That's not my arm. I just wanted the people to know
that's not my arm.
That's not your mic?
That's not my arm.
I didn't want them to think that was my hand.
They didn't want them to think that was me hand. I didn't want them to think that was me.
Okay, we're going to move along.
We're going to go to the Cowboys.
The Bills dominate the Cowboys 31-10.
The Cowboys are now 3-4 on the road, 7-0 at home.
They score a little less than 22 points on the road,
score almost 40 points at home.
People are upset for McCarthy leaving his starters in.
I asked that very question.
I asked because heading into the,
I think Dak had like 50,
60 yards with a little bit,
with a little bit of like 13 minutes left in the fourth quarter.
And,
you know,
he got his touchdown,
yada,
yada,
yada.
But when you watch,
when you watch the Cowboys,
what do you not like about them,
Tan?
I love them.
I'm not going to say it's one particular thing I don't like about them.
I love them.
I just want them to continue to be consistent.
Don't fool me, man.
Don't tease me.
We don't like to be fooled.
We don't like to be teased.
Don't take me all the way to the altar and then you're going to dip on me.
Don't do that.
Don't get me feeling that you're going to do something. You me. Don't do that. Don't get me feeling that you're going
to do something. You don't want to do that.
Don't get me in there.
Don't you get me in there like that.
And oftentimes
the Cowboys have the propensity
to do that. And I'm just
hoping
this was just one of those games. We've all
had in our careers have had just
one of those games where it just went right offensively, defensively.
It just didn't work.
You just got your butt kicked.
Let's flush it.
Let's move on.
Let's go.
Don't even talk about it.
Let's don't even mean about it.
I don't even want to watch the film.
Let's go on to the next game.
That's one of those games.
Right.
When you look at this game, though, you see the weather is what it is.
The bill says we're going to run the football,
and we don't believe you can stop us
because there's something to be said about
a team that runs the football. It becomes
personal. And when you run the football
in time, we talk about this all the
time. You're moving a man
against his will. He's got his hand in
the dirt. You've got your hand in the dirt.
And he says, I'm not going anywhere. And that
offensive lineman say, the hell you say? You're
moving up out of here and here comes Cook, James Cook,
running the ball 266 yards.
Josh Allen was 7 of 15 for 94 yards.
He said after the game, I felt like the kid that didn't participate
in the science project and got an A.
Let that sink in for a second.
What we're seeing, what we're seeing what we see what i see is that when the
defense can't turn you over you can't get pick sixes and scooping scores and the cowboys you've
got to fight tooth and nail the entirety of the game they've turned it down more times than not
now we saw them go on the road and lose to a very arizona team minus kyler murray we saw them go on the road and lose to an Arizona team minus Kyler Murray.
We saw them go on the road to San Francisco, and that ain't no shame
because San Francisco been thumping the hell out of a lot of people.
And then we saw them almost, you know, they lose,
they give up 30-something points to the Eagles.
That's not a good sign because more than likely,
you're going to probably have to go on the road.
You're going to get to where you want to get, which is Las Vegas. You're
going to have to go through San Francisco. It's going to go through the bay.
Mm-hmm.
This is my problem, Shaq, and I don't
know where y'all stood on this,
but you know I have an opinion.
Of course. Cam
said some profound things.
Yes. A lot of people took
shots at Cam, the man,
not Cam, the quarterback quarterback and i don't understand
because to me cam ain't really done nothing to for us to critique him as a man as a man cam has
been outstanding as a man yeah okay so whether we get that we don't honor the opinion of a former MVP?
Now, see, this is one of those games. We don't like it.
That's right.
Okay, that's what I'm saying.
Forget the man.
Right.
Forget the man.
His opinion.
He's a former MVP.
Now, you start thinking about this is one of those games where your quarterback got to carry you, man.
What we just got finished talking about. Lamar, right?
Right, Ocho? We got
all the pressures on Lamar
to put you on his back and do his thing.
Yes. That was one of those games,
man. That was one of those games.
And that might
be
what Cam was talking about.
That's exactly what he was talking about.
Okay. You know what? he was talking about. Okay.
You know what?
Sometimes we'll miss the message.
Sometimes we'll miss the message
if we don't like the messenger.
If we don't like the messenger.
If we like the messenger,
even if the message is wrong,
we'll receive it.
But even if we don't like the messenger,
the message can be,
oh man.
I love Dank.
And I think Dank is fighting right now
for the MVP.
I really do.
I think that might have
that might have put him
second now yeah yeah that might
have you know he diminished
him because of that but those
are the type of games where it ain't
nothing working yeah hey man
y'all gotta get on my back and let's go because we
criticize Lamar like that yes
yeah we criticize those
Mahomes like that yeah yeah we criticize all those guys like that. Yes. Yeah, we criticize those Mahomes like that.
Yeah. Yeah, we criticize
all those guys like that, and those are those
type of games, man. But then
when you think about it, right, you know, we talk about
Dak and not playing well. You talk about
the receiving court really not being there, so
Dak can
succeed in a game like today, where
nothing is going right, especially for the Cowboys
defensively, but then we give no credit
to the Cowboys in the defense
that they played against.
You mean Buffalo?
I'm so sorry.
For the scheme that they had
where they weren't able to run the ball,
they weren't able to throw the ball.
Going into the third
quarter, Dak had how many yards?
I don't got my numbers in front of me.
Like 50 and a half.
Yeah.
It was bad.
And listen, CeeDee Lamb been cutting the fool for the past three, four weeks in a row.
All year.
Yeah.
That too.
All year.
So what happened today?
What did the Bills do so special all of a sudden?
Because today's game is similar to what you're going to see in the playoffs.
They're going to scheme in certain ways. They got out on them and they made a one dimension man with you and
if you really look at it what why did mike mccarthy get miller kelly more he said he wanted
to be more balanced he wanted to run and throw the football he wanted to be more 50 50 and he felt
that they was a pass a more-happy offense than a run.
The Cowboys, with the exception of maybe one or two games,
they haven't run the ball this year like they did last year.
And they missed Zeke on those tough one yards because Zeke had like 12, 13 touchdowns last year.
Torley Pollard, I don't know why they thought a guy that was 185
is going to be your every down back.
That's business, Shannon. That's not the preference of the better man. Why they thought a guy that was 185 is going to be your every down back? Now, I'm not saying he probably wasn't.
That's business, Shannon.
That's not the preference of the better man.
That comes down to business, and that's what it came down to.
Don't it all come down to business? Of course.
That's what it came down to.
Dollars and cents, always.
Right, right.
But most of the time, dollars don't make sense.
So that was 21-34, 13 and an interception no uh no touchdowns and the cowboys were only
5 of 13 on third down third down this is this is but see this is the opportunity and like cam was
saying like i said i had a thing it has a lot to do with who said what he said because remember
now you and i time we when we was on nfl network and we've been said. Because remember, now you and I,
when we was on NFL Network and we've been on a lot of shows together,
you and I say the NFL was watered down.
And oh, Shannon, you and Tom are haters.
Y'all are old.
Get y'all old self back on the porch.
Tom Brady said exactly what many of us
have been saying for the longest time.
And everybody applauded.
But what they didn't applaud was Tom Brady
was the chief beneficiary
of this watered-down league.
Now, all of a sudden,
they're like,
whoa, whoa, Shannon,
you hating.
I'm not hating,
but I'm just telling you,
you can't attack the quarterback
like you once could.
You can't attack the receiver.
Time, you came in...
Oh, Chad, Chad would've went off.
Chad, you do know.
But in today's...
You know you'd have been
a $30 million receiver.
You do know that, Ray.
Man, don't do me like that.
30, 40.
I'm telling you.
40.
But, Ty, you remember when you first got into the league
and when I came into the league and there was no defensive receiver
and you could attack the quarterback?
Man, they was trying to hit your mama.
They was trying to hit your mama in the stands right there, boy.
Yeah.
Don't hurt my your mom in the stands don't hurt my baby
run it loud
I remember running loud telling
one of our receivers
I'm going to kill you boy
I said
and they literally
they literally tried to
they didn't want to hurt you for the entirety of the season,
but they tried to knock your ass out of the game.
The game.
Oh, wait.
Yes, sir.
Ty, do you remember ever defending a one-step slant?
The way these guys run one-step slant routes now?
Yeah.
Man, them linebackers, Singletary, them guys, John Offerdahl, those guys would knock you
into next week.
Yeah, you would.
Yeah, they're not getting hit right now.
The game is different.
The game is different.
And back to what Brady said, and as far as the league being watered down,
this is because of the competition committee.
This is because of the NFL.
Because the NFL wanted to make the offenses have score points,
make the game more entertaining for fans,
so fans could be engaged a little bit more. So now they've
handicapped defensive players
where they're throwing flags on everything. You can't
hit nobody in a minute. I said
it trying to be funny. In a minute, they're going to be playing two-hand
touch. But they did.
Now they did at the Pro Bowl.
Because you remember now, we were dead serious
at the Pro Bowl come second half.
Oh, yeah. We were trying to pay for everything.
That second half?
That second half? We were trying to pay for everything. That second half? Hey, that second half?
We're trying to pay
for everything.
That's what happens.
Because we got that bill.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hold on, hold on, hold on.
Room service was what?
Oh, no, no, no.
Hey, hey, man.
We got to pay for this.
Yes.
We got to win.
Yeah.
We got to win.
Yes.
I mean,
we was planning to pay
for the room service and the expenses.
Because you done brought family members over there.
You already had to have it.
After you did it that one time, that was it.
You know, we learned that the first time.
Never, never again.
And that was the thing.
But time, remember, you and I talked about it.
I said, they're going to do away with this.
I said, them owners.
They had to.
And Commissioner Goodell.
They had to. I was like, how you go over there and I talked about it. I said, they're going to do away with this. I said, them owners. They had to. And Commissioner Goodell. They had to.
I was like, how you go over there and you literally don't take this as tackle football.
And you touch the guy and the guy stops.
Yeah.
I got a confession.
I got a confession by the Pro Bowl, man.
I'm not going to lie to you.
After I got that bill, I literally ordered a little refrigerator.
You did.
I was there that year.
You ordered that refrigerator and had it put in your room.
I had it put in my room.
And I went to the grocery store and got some cereal and some milk.
I said, we're going to stop this.
Y'all can eat breakfast right here.
I remember that.
Y'all go get some breakfast.
At that time, you remember that time we had transferred to the Iolani.
Because we had to hit the Hawaiian village.
Oh my God, Chad. Oh my God.
You had to hit the Hawaiian
village? First of all,
everybody was air batting. It was
secluded. They used to let
everybody in the Hawaiian village.
You run into
everybody, huh? Oh, you come out the room
and just see somebody you went to high school with.
It was open like that.
Right, right, right. I saw somebody
I didn't go to high school with, but I wanted to go to
high school with. You know what I'm talking about? That's what I'm trying to tell you.
That's what I'm trying to tell you.
That's what I'm trying to tell you.
Hey,
man, y'all, y'all, shut up, man.
Oh, man. Those were the days.
And it was back then, you couldn't tell nobody.
Hey, man, hey, what room you in?
You're yelling if you want to.
You're yelling if you want to.
Hey, the whole bill, the whole bar bill would be on you.
Be on your room.
And you don't know what happened.
That's right.
You would have told the wrong person your room number.
Oh, no, man, I ain't even staying here.
The 49ers blasted the Cardinals. Brock Hardy,, I ain't even staying here. The 49ers blast the Cardinals.
Brock Purdy, four touchdowns, zero interceptions.
Now Brock Purdy leads the NFL in touchdown
passes with 29.
He's second in the NFL in passing yards
and he's first in QBR.
Dak is second in touchdowns, fifth in yards,
second in QBR.
Guys, when I look at the 49ers,
it's going to take a Herculean
effort for some team to go in there and beat
them. They have to have an
off day offensively. I'm talking about a
complete off day.
Everybody got to be off. Or one of the key guys
get injured, like it was last season.
That's what
happened. You don't wish that on nobody.
That's what has to happen because those boys are playing
some ball, man. And they playing defensively. Did you see the way that boy nobody. No. But that's what has to happen because those boys are playing some ball, man. Yes.
And they playing defensively.
Did you see the way that boy broke on that thing?
Sure.
Award?
Yes.
Tredavious?
Yes.
Hey, listen.
That ain't nothing but film study
and no one was coming.
Oh, man, it was.
And you're right.
Nothing but film study
and no one was coming.
He broke on that thing and housed it.
Yeah.
You can't think against yourself.
If you hesitate, you beat.
That's right. That's the difference between a pick six and housed it. Yeah. You can't think against yourself. If you hesitate, you beat. Yeah.
That's right.
That's the difference between
a pick six
and a knockdown pass.
That's right.
That's the difference.
But when you look at this team,
because they can run it,
you know they can run it.
They know they can run it.
When they stick that ball
in the belly of Christian McCaffrey
or that backup running back,
that's a grown man.
Kittle running free. IU is free.'s a grown man. Kittle running free.
IU is free.
Debo's free.
Kenning's is free.
Everybody free.
I mean,
they out there like Oprah.
You get a touchdown.
You get a touchdown.
You get a touchdown.
He could be the MVP as well.
McCaffrey could be the MVP as well.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
He has,
he has 20 touchdowns total and he's leading the league in rush yards.
Yeah.
Unbelievable.
It's crazy.
Wait, mind you, he got 509 receiving yards on top of that.
I love that kid, man.
I love that kid.
I love his father.
That whole family.
That whole family can ball.
Awesome.
I think the housekeepers, everybody can ball in the house.
But tell me right now, you and I have been in this business a long time.
What's the better story?
Our first round pick who far comes from pedigree winning the MVP or missed the irrelevant.
A seventh round draft pick, the last pick in the draft winning MVP.
Because, you know, sports is about stories.
Right.
People, oh, win.
No, no, no, no.
If it was just about the score, they wouldn't need color.
They wouldn't need play-by-play guys because the play-by-play and the color,
they give you the story of the game.
Yeah, that's right.
If it was just all about the score, they could just, okay,
score the touchdown.
We know what the score is. But they're telling you the storyline of the score. You can just, they can just, okay, score the touchdown. We know what the score is.
But they're telling you the storyline
of the game. And the best story
right now, and it might be
just like, you remember when Kurt Warner won it
a time in 99? Here's
a guy that was bagging groceries. The guy
that came out of the Iowa Barnstormers.
And the next thing you know, he's
the MVP. He wins the Super Bowl. He's Super
Bowl MVP. Oh, he deserved it now.
Kurt deserved that thing now.
Oh, the greatest show on turf.
Kurt deserved that thing now.
The greatest show on turf.
I love this kid.
I do love this kid, but I'm going to tell you where the hating going to start.
It's going to start at the conclusion of it because they're not going to want to pay him.
They're not going to want to pay him what he's worth.
So what they'll do is they'll start finding little things to knock his game, and that's not fair to him to pay him what he's worth so what they'll do is start finding little things
to knock his game and that's not fair to him
because the boy's balling but they're going to say
okay go somewhere else and do it
because here you have all those
intangibles on the field with you
like you just forementioned
are you really that guy
or do you need all this assistance
that only we can provide for you
so now that diminishes your bag.
But when you come in like he came in and they're going right now, it's 50.
He said, I take 40.
I'm good.
I take, I might, you might not want to get because he's, he's in the second year.
So he has three years.
So next year he can really get the bag.
You know what?
The bag next year is going to be 555.55. You don't wait until the
next year though. You want to go ahead and get it now?
You don't do that. Yeah, you got to get him
now. Yeah, you don't let him
go to free agency. You don't do that.
If you let a man go to free agency,
you don't want him. Yeah.
And then because you know what happens, you go to free
agency, you have to overpay to keep it.
That's right. But look what you just
said. Look what you just said. Probably
upstairs management is going
to say, you know what, we don't want to pay you because
you're playing so well based on
the supporting cash you have around you.
So then what do they do? What do they
do if they don't think he needs to die? No, no, but you got to understand
how he came up. Right. Right.
He didn't come up like we came up.
We were supposed to do what we did.
Okay. Right, right. So he wasn't supposed to do what we did okay right right so he wasn't
supposed to he's missing relevant right right therefore instead of getting 50 what they get
right now 40 a year straight with him you know yeah please you mean to tell me you're getting
ready to give me a quarter of a billion dollars for this i didn't expect that i'm good i ain't
been afraid with y'all with that. I'm straight.
How they look at it,
they gonna say, you know, we believed in you when no one else did. We took a chance
on you.
I'm just free, Shannon. I was
a seventh-round draft pick. I
was the guy that came and asked for a little bit more
money. Well, you know, Shannon, you know, we believed
in you when no one else did, now.
And we got you. You got a great situation, a quarterback that loves you the offense i'm like i understand all that
but can i get paid according to what i'm worth and i think the thing is with him the going rate
i mean it's like i gotta get with justin herbert i at least i want to play. I want to play off game. Right. They all,
they always said they believe had he not hurt his elbow in that
championship game,
they believe they would have been beat Philly.
They went back with the sole purpose to say,
this is what would have happened to you.
You know what?
Had I not gotten hurt.
I hadn't seen it though.
I hadn't seen it.
Like Kurt did.
I take that back.
Kurt did it.
Then Romo did it, but I haven't seen a guy that wasn't seen it like kurt did i take that back kurt did it and romo did it but i
haven't seen a guy that wasn't projected to be that guy no getting paid like they supposed to
get paid right except for those two right it kurt warner and romo right but they got it but if you
think about what he did remember now what they gave up to get Trey Lance. That's their future.
And the only reason that we brush over
it is because they got Purdy. Do you
understand how they would have been eviscerated
if they didn't have a Brock Purdy?
I like that word. I don't know what that means.
But I like that word. They would have got
destroyed.
Yeah.
That's a big word.
That was out my
context.
Hey, Ocho, we just hit a live 40,000 in the chat live right now.
New record.
What, 40,000?
Congratulations, Coach Prime, for joining us.
Thank you.
And doing this for us.
I love it.
You know y'all my dogs.
Y'all my dogs.
20,000?
Y'all know my dogs.
You got to give me credit.
I leave you alone
during the season
because you know
how we use the dogs.
Not really.
Not really.
I be calling you.
You do.
But I be busy.
You see all the jobs I got.
I'm part Jamaican.
You ain't never too busy with us.
And I always check on Chad.
I always check on Chad.
I checked on you.
I checked on you once this year.
I didn't want to bother you.
I didn't want to bother you.
But you did. Quit lying. Both of want to bother you. But you did.
Quit lying.
Both of y'all lying.
But you did tell me you was coming to see me.
You told me you was going to come get on the field with me.
Receivers ain't seen you yet.
Wait, I can't because I got like 37 jobs right now.
I can't even get out of town.
You supposed to.
You don't work all year.
You could have came in the summer.
You could have came at camp.
You could have came at the time.
And one thing about Shannon.
Shannon be lying to me, but he will show up.
He got some other stuff that we can talk about on TV.
I got a question.
But he don't want to.
Okay.
I got a question.
So listen.
Listen.
I'm going to put you on the spot.
I'm going to put you on the spot right now.
Since I already have 37 jobs, let's make it 38.
How about you hire me to come be the assistant receiver coach?
You don't want to do that.
You ain't dedicated like that.
But I didn't have instruction disciplines in 1968.
Yeah, but you ain't dedicated like that, coach.
You dedicated to play, but you ain't dedicated to coach.
You ain't do that.
You ain't like that.
So you basically, you going to try to give me some mumbo jumbo
and just say, you know what, I don't want to hire you.
Why don't you just say no?
No, I will bring you in as an analyst, but you can't be there every day.
You ain't going to be there every day.
I know you.
You do know I know you.
Listen, I love the kids.
No, you love the kids.
I got to let my...
Yeah, you love the kids.
That's why you love the game.
But you're not going to be there every day.
I'm going to go, where's your coach?
Where am I going to be at?
He'll get back at us.
He texts all of us this morning.
He'll get back at us. But texts all of us. He'll get back at us.
But see, before he got the job,
when he didn't have the job at Jackson State,
we talked at least four or five times a day.
Really not about football, just a lot about a bull jive.
Okay, he goes to Jackson State,
and I call him two or three times a week,
mainly about bull jive, a little bit of football.
But when he got there, that's the first year I said,
I got to let him Get his feet wet
Let him get in there
Let him get his
Back out
And then you know
I will hit him up
Now this year
Ain't gonna be like
Last year
Cause you already
Know what to expect
You done got in good
So now I'm finna act the fool
Okay
Hold on
You know what I just
Thought about
I just thought about
I done got turned down
Two brothers
That I love Y'all supposed to Uplift me I done got turned down two brothers that I love.
Y'all supposed to uplift me.
I done asked both of y'all
to do something for me.
What did?
I done asked Unc, right?
I've been begging him
for three months.
Man, get me on first tape.
He done sold me a dream.
I done asked you
to let me come
be a coach at
or assistant at Colorado.
You done told me no.
So both of y'all done turned me down.
We know you.
You do know we know you, right?
Y'all supposed to be helping me climb the mountain.
Now, Shannon, I heard what Shannon did to you,
but he was right. He said, let me get in here
first, and let me work it out, and let
me do my thing.
He done been in there three months.
Three months. No, but he ain't in all the way yet.
He don't know everybody's name.
He just get in there
and, you know,
he just getting straight.
He just got the whole
makeup situation straight.
So, you know,
he just getting it right.
See, I do.
You dirty, Todd.
You dirty.
You dirty.
Chad told me to say that.
Okay, anyway.
Okay.
Anyway, he got all that straight.
Now he good.
Right. I know you. I know you.
I know you.
You know I know you.
If you give me a job, I will move to Colorado, man. I will
uproot everything in Miami and I will come to Colorado.
That's a lie. You know that. I promise you.
Well, if grandma wasn't lying right now, she'd
cuss you out. I don't care who tell the truth.
If grandma wasn't lying right now, she'd cuss you out.
Now you know.
And Shannon, when I'm talking about his grandma, that was my girl. You know grandma wasn't lying right now. She cussed you at. Now you know. I'm talking about his grandma. That was
my girl. He know grandma cussed him out
if he was lying. Grandma know I know you.
I got my right hand up.
I got my right hand up.
That's your level, but okay.
On TV, that's your level.
That's why we know you.
We all know you. We know you.
Yes.
I just want an opportunity, man.
I'm trying to get with y'all.
I give him a platform.
Get him on here three, four times a week.
I mean, I got the poor teeth.
Hey, you coming today?
You on today?
Is it?
Tell me, has he been on time?
I'm always on time.
I ain't never late. I ain't never late.
I ain't never late.
That's a lie.
Listen, I might not wear a watch that work, but I'm going to be on time.
I don't know about all that.
Now, but you know what?
Historically.
I've never been late nowhere.
I set my watch five minutes ahead on purpose, so I never go anywhere.
Never be anywhere late.
Do you really want me to call Marvin Lewis?
Huh?
Oh, I ain't never.
So I never showed up late to no meeting.
You know, you're lying.
Not that.
You know, I got I got CTE.
I can't remember.
You live at the complex.
How you live at the complex?
You was late.
That was wrong.
Oh, no.
I over.
Nobody woke me up.
Nobody woke me up. Nobody woke me up.
That was early in my career now.
Do you remember the strength and
conditioning coaches, Chip and
Friday?
Cincinnati Bengals. I'm talking to you.
Yeah, Ray. Ray and
Ray Oliver and Chip. Chip Morton.
Yeah. And then Friday came in as
an assistant. Okay. So, you know, I know them. They were
with me in Baltimore. Okay. Okay. Yeah, you know, we know. Everybody know. Okay, so you know I know them. They were with me in Baltimore.
Okay.
Okay.
Yeah, you know we know everybody know each other.
It's like a fraternity. Yeah, I mean, we all family.
We all family, but I just don't like when,
I don't like things being said about me that aren't true.
Sometimes, you know.
That was true, though, though.
One thing about it, I'm never late.
No, that was true, though.
You was late, and you lived in the complex.
Like, how do you do that?
But you said they didn't wake you up.
Yeah, it's like you being in the grocery store Like, how do you do that? But you said they didn't wake you up.
It's like you being in the grocery store and starving.
How you starving in a grocery store? How you starving?
You work at a grocery store.
I don't even understand that, dog.
I'm Michael Kassin, founder and CEO of 3C Ventures and your guide on good company.
The podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next. In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi, for a conversation
that's anything but ordinary. We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning
so-called niche into mainstream gold, connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel
seen. What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core.
It's this idea that there are so many stories out there,
and if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content,
the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen.
Get a front row seat to where media, marketing, technology, entertainment, and sports
collide, and hear how leaders like Anjali are carving out space and shaking things up a bit
in the most crowded of markets. Listen to Good Company on the iHeartRadio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In the fall of 1986, Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal
that looked like it might bring down his presidency. Did you make a mistake in sending
arms to Tehran, sir? No. It became known as the Iran-Contra affair.
And I'm not taking any more questions in just a second.
I'm going to ask... I'm Leon Nafok, co-creator of Slow Burn.
In my podcast, Fiasco, Iran-Contra,
you'll hear all the unbelievable details of a scandal
that captivated the nation nearly 40 years ago,
but which few of us still remember today.
The things that happened were so bizarre and insane, I can't begin to tell you.
Please do.
To hear the whole story, listen to Fiasco, Iran Contra on the iHeartRadio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Time.
Me and on this next one.
The Chiefs beat the Patriots 27-17.
Ain't nobody care.
Ain't nobody care.
But this is what we care about.
Ocho and I had a $200 bet.
What?
A $200 bet?
What?
You have a $100 bet.
I know that's a lie.
Kadarius Tony wasn't going to have another drop
and he wasn't going to make a mistake.
And he did it on the same play.
He had to have a pick.
Yeah, I saw that.
I saw that.
And you know what?
Matter of fact, they cut away. It was even
to the quarterback or the coach. It was like, man, I'm tired of this.
Like they cut away to one of the.
Patrick Mahomes was cursing.
He was cursing.
He's like, I had your back now.
I'm tired.
I'm tired.
I'm tired.
I'm tired.
He probably was over there on the sidelines saying, I'm tired.
I made a bet.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Do $100.
Run me my money.
You always defending receivers.
I'm supposed to
defend receivers. I used to drop
balls too. I know what that feel like.
I know what it feel like.
I never heard you admit that, dog.
Yeah, I think I played.
I mean you put foot
in front of the balls, okay?
Just say foot because you're dropping them.
Come on, come on.
Come on, man.
We're growing.
Don't do that.
Don't do that.
My kids do that all the time.
Don't do that.
Don't do that.
Because he always looking to give me time.
Yeah, my bad, my bad, my bad, my bad.
Listen, I know what it feels like.
Right now, Kadarius Toney, his confidence is a little shot.
Just a little bit.
Just a little bit. Just a little bit.
What he needs right now is he needs an uplifting, not from us, not from us media.
For me, he going to hear from me.
I'm going to big up you no matter what because that used to be me.
I used to drop balls.
I also put balls at times.
It would come off my hands and it'll be an interception.
I know what that feels like.
I know how deflating that is as a player.
Am I going to pile on him?
No.
After this, I sent KT a text.
Hey, boy, keep your head up, boy.
Get back to work and keep on working.
How about keep your hands up?
Get back to work and keep on working.
And I'm going to text Pat Mahomes,
don't show up your receiver
on national television.
He didn't mean to,
but he was in the moment.
First of all,
Pat had his back last week.
Pat said he don't keep going.
He had his back.
Pat has his back.
Prime,
how the man line up
a foot offside
and did he man
when they throw the flag?
I've seen that.
First of all,
I've seen players today
get mad when they wrong
but you check them
when they wrong
like how you mad at me
Gunner
Gunner
Gunner
come on
you're going to be asleep
man you know it's late
who's that
wait you got dogs too
I got a dog
guh
he got a kennel
what kind of dog you got
he has a kennel
I got a I got a
He made me just
go blank right then. A Malinois?
A German Shepherd? Malinois. Belgian Malinois.
Belgian Malinois.
It's like the uncle of a German Shepherd.
It's the top of the line when it comes to
the police dogs, the military dogs.
They'll jump over this desk
on the other side and just walk off
like it wasn't nothing. They're, but they a lot of work time.
No, they got a lot of energy.
They have a lot of energy.
And you need to burn that off,
or he'll burn it off by tearing up your house.
Yeah, that is true.
That is true.
But Dolph-
Chad was like a mile wide.
He had a lot of energy.
The Dolphins beat the Jets.
I sure would have wanted you, Dolph.
I'd have tore you up.
I'd have tore you up, Chad.
You put that thing on the time. Oh, my God. I don't know wanted you, dog. I'd have told you up. You put that bag on the time.
Oh, my God.
You know it's on you.
Man, listen. You might be the greatest.
You are the greatest.
Take the mic out.
If you want to talk, take the mic out.
You wouldn't have touched me.
You wouldn't have touched me at the line.
Who you mean who? Who you care? I'm talking to you.
Don't play.
Don't play. First of all.
Don't play. Don't play. Okay.
You could not run me. So I'm not going for the I don't need to run you. I can do one thing
that nobody else can.
Get off that line of scrimmage.
I'm going to put so many hands on you. I guarantee you
you're going to file. You're going to go break a police report.
Listen. Listen.
Hey, don't do me like that.
Check my resume. Don't do me like that.
I did.
It's one thing you won't do.
I did.
You're going to touch me off the line?
These feet?
You're going to touch these feet off the line?
Did you forget about these feet?
Don't play at me.
Did you forget about these feet?
Yeah, listen.
They paid you to cover people.
They paid me for my feet for a long time.
They paid me to put butts in seats.
Yeah.
You know what's funny? I did that for a long time. They paid me to put butts in seats. Yeah. You know what's funny?
I did that for a decade, too.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But you got to understand,
back when Tyra played,
you could put hands on people.
What you mean?
When I played,
you could put hands on people.
I was going to bless him.
Listen, it's a reason we played.
It's a reason we played on Sunday.
You the blaster, you put half on your hand.
You would have thought I was bending hands on you.
Listen, you would have came out there playing, you would have got a communion.
You would have got a- You, who?
Huh?
You got the right one.
You know better.
See, you got to talk the rest of them.
You know you're kidding.
Huh?
I've been trying to tell you.
You know what?
When I see you, it's on sight.
And it ain't coming for what they eat. I ain't got but eight. Yeah. You better not're kidding. I've been trying to tell you. You know what? When I see you, it's on sight.
It ain't coming but what I ate.
I ain't got but I ate.
Yeah.
You better not say nothing.
You better not say nothing.
I know you're ready to jump in there.
I know you're ready to jump in there.
Hey, Chad, he going to come to my house, my building,
and talk about me like a dog.
Hey.
Hey.
He talking to me like a dog, man.
Hey, Ocho, let me tell you how you beat him.
Release his side. He only got
two toes on that right foot.
You know what I'm saying?
You know what I'm saying?
No, that's bad, man. You're supposed to be
praying for me and you're coming at me.
That ain't right, man. That's my dog.
That ain't right.
Hey, listen. We gonna pray for him That ain't right. Hey, listen.
We going to pray for him.
We going to pray for him.
But I know one thing.
I don't care where I see you.
It don't matter.
It could be at the game.
It could be at church.
We could be at somebody's funeral.
We could be in the street.
We could be in the parking lot.
It's on site every time.
But you know what?
I don't care.
You know what I'm proud of you?
Because you spend a lot of time with your wife and all that.
Don't let me catch you with your wife.
What happened?
She ain't going to look at you the same.
Shit me.
If you think I'm going to lose in front of her.
She ain't going to look at you the same when I get done.
If you think I'm going to lose in front of her, you got another thought coming.
Don't let me catch you with your wife is on site.
Time, time.
Time, he losing in front of her at 85 and other people too.
And you know you're losing in front of your wife. She ain't going to look at you the same no more. Hey, hey, hey, but that's a bad thing when you're losing in front of her and 85 and other people do that. And you know you're losing in front of your wife. She ain't gonna look at you the same no more.
Hey, but that's a bad thing
when you're losing in front of your wife.
And we just planned. Imagine
you get in the fight and your baby,
she got to help you get up and you get knocked out.
You get home. She got to tell you, baby,
it was okay. You can't even raise your voice
no more.
The people in the chat saying Revis
locked you up and Revis
admitted time was the goal.
So what if the guy
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Listen, listen.
Let's stay with this. Let's stay in context.
Read that again, Shannon, so he can hear that.
The chat said
Revis locked you up.
Revis said time was the goal.
What do you think time would do?
Y'all don't understand, huh?
And Revis also said, ask Revis said time was the goal. What do you think time would do? Y'all don't understand, huh? And Revis also said, ask Revis,
who did Revis say the greatest rock runner of all time was?
I don't know how he would know
because you couldn't get off the line.
Oh, man, I was off the line.
What are you talking about?
What?
Passes were just incomplete.
Y'all have to understand context.
Y'all just get enamored with all the stat lines.
And then we talk about...
Hey, listen, we talk about...
You know I'm a coach, right? I know about
all the stuff you're talking about. You know I'm a coach.
Yeah. But...
Before you go any further, I need
you to run my money on... What you call him?
Zach Wilson, too. Another 200.
What happened?
He didn't get 300 passing yards today.
What'd he do for today?
Probably 25. 25. What happened? He didn't get 300 passing yards today. What'd he do for today? Probably 25.
What'd he do for today? 25.
For real? 26, my bad. 26 yards.
No, for real. What'd he do for today?
26 yards.
Nobody threw for those 26 yards in a football game.
What'd he do for?
How many yards did he throw for?
He threw for 26 yards. Now run me my money.
Okay. I should have got my money.
He must have gotten hurt.
They knocked him out of the game.
Yeah, yeah.
I'll say that.
Oh, wait a minute.
We'll bet off if he got knocked out of the game.
Ain't no bet off now. Ain't no bet off.
Ain't no bet on that one.
See, that's what I'm trying to say.
Whoa, whoa.
If he didn't finish the game,
I'm a...
I don't want to fight.
I don't want to fight.
Hey, time.
You remember?
Hey, man, I got you. No, you don't. Put that money down. Money out of sight will cause to fight. I don't want to fight. Hey, man, I got you.
No, you don't.
Put that money down.
Money out of sight will cause a fight.
Nope.
You know how you rolling dice?
And everybody tell me, oh, I got that?
No, no.
I ain't not rolling no dice.
I don't do no dice.
You ain't rolling no dice.
I know you pitch to a line.
I know you pitch to a line.
You pitch quarters.
Yeah, we pitch quarters.
Quarter, pitch quarters.
I make that thing lean on you.
I make it lean on you.
I make it lean on the wall.
Hey, we call it get like me.
Yeah, that's what y'all call it?
Yeah, we call it get like me.
No, we just call it pitching.
To the line, we pitching a cup, all that.
No, we pitching a line.
We ain't never pitching no cup now.
Ain't pitching no cup.
Anything that we can get some money off of.
They did that at the fair.
See, I know you from a small town. You know about the fair. See, I know you from a small town.
You know about the fair.
Yeah, I love the fair now.
Matter of fact, they tried to put me on six flags one time.
I got anointing to win the game.
Like, the one you throw the hula hoop over the bell.
Yeah, right.
Man, let's throw that hula hoop like, boy, look at him.
I'm taking stuff down left and right.
Then you got the little one you throw the little ring around the little bottle top. Yeah. Then I threw that thing right at him. I'm taking stuff down left and right. Then you got the little one you throw the little ring around the little bottle top.
Yeah. And I threw that thing right at
things.
And then you
got a little basket that you throw the little softball
halfway. I spin that joker back
with that joker just sit up in there.
Man, he got to go. He got to go.
He got to go.
He got to go.
The Jets lose 30-0 to the Dolphins.
The Jets now go 13-3.
Yeah, they got a little friction.
A little friction on that team.
They upset.
They upset with the quarterback play.
They upset.
The receivers are upset.
Oh, we going to blame it on the quarterback?
No, the Jets.
The Jets.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
I thought you were going to blame it on the quarterback. Yeah, they got a great receiver. Okay. Okay. I thought you were going to be the quarterback.
Yeah, they got a great receiver.
They upset.
Gary, Gary.
They can't move the ball.
Gary Wilson, the real deal.
That's what I'm talking about.
Well, it's hard to move the ball when the quarterback on his ass back there.
You can't even make a three-step drop.
Let me ask you a question.
Yeah, he got to be able to see the game, too.
But let me ask you a question.
Right.
Last year, Gary Wilson won offensive rookie of the year.
So what's the difference now?
Zach Wilson had to play more this year than last year.
That's the only difference.
So you tell me what it is.
Remember Mike White?
Mike White got the job beating him out.
The guy that's the backup in Miami now?
Yeah.
Okay.
You know the guy that they was wearing t-shirts, Mike White. We support
Mike White. When Zach Wilson was the quarterback,
imagine that, Ocho.
You the wide receiver,
but they wearing
T.J. Hujamanzada number. The offensive
line and the defense wearing T.J. Hujamanzada.
Yeah, exactly.
Now, run me my money.
400.
What is 400? You said 200.
Why you got to eat like that?
Why you eat like that, man?
Well, I got to see the whole donut in your mouth when you eat.
Hey, hey, time.
And it live with that ashen before the glaze hit it.
My little ashen?
No, your little ashen, dog.
I know you're Krispy Kreme, but I want to see the whole donut when you eat.
I got it.
I got it.
That's a pet peeve.
Like, smacking is a pet peeve of mine, especially for a woman.
You might want to go.
If you were smacking in the...
Hold on.
So, okay, y'all out to dinner.
She's on time.
You know, I'm talking about, she's like 5'7", 5'8".
You know, nice complexion.
Hair down to her shoulder.
Her hair.
Yeah.
She didn't buy it.
It didn't come from India or out of Horsesdale.
And, you know, she like,
y'all need to stop now.
First of all, stop talking like that because you know I'm in the portal.
But go ahead. Let's keep going.
But go ahead. We all get that later.
But go ahead, Shannon.
Hey, he's in the portal.
But go ahead.
Go ahead.
You know they'll put me in the portal. But go ahead, Shannon.
That man sick. That man'll put me in the portal. Go ahead, Shannon. That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.

That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.

That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it. Look at him. We can't do that. We can't do that.
That's a pet peeve of mine.
I can't do it.
I can't do it. Certain things I can't do.
Y'all killed me, Ocho.
Now see, he say that's his pet peeve.
That's one of my pet peeves.
I got a plethora of pet peeves.
That's one of mine.
Hey, Ty, what about your question?
Can a woman pass gas in front of you?
Mm-mm.
Thank you.
That's my dog.
You can't do that.
You better hold it.
I don't care.
Your stomach busts.
Something wrong with y'all, man.
Something wrong with y'all, man.
Something wrong with y'all, man.
You can't fart around me.
See, you know what?
Listen, that's how, you know what?
If the woman you claim you love can't pass gas, which is natural,
and she got to go to a whole other room
just to do it, that ain't love.
So she having a competition with you fart?
So she having a fart? Y'all having a fart?
But sometimes you got to let it go.
Y'all having a fart, though.
So first of all, how we get to the point
where that happened, and that's cool,
and we ain't going to talk about it. Like, how I get to the point
where, first of all, you
had to do it so much, it just made her comfortable to do it. Let's just get that straight. Like, how I get to the point where, first of all, you had to do it so much.
It just made her comfortable to do it.
Let's just get that straight.
No, how about, you know what?
We so comfortable with each other that we don't have to go hiding.
No, no, no.
We ain't going to do that.
You so comfortable.
And you so nasty that she felt like, man, we're going to get mad.
That's right.
That's right.
Just like that.
Don't say that.
That's law.
Don't say that.
That's law. Just say that. That ain't no say that I'm with Shannon on that
I'm with you on that
It is a
It gotta be a little bit of class
A little bit of class
I graduated
Class? I graduated
I didn't grow up with the royal family
I'm from Liberty City
Class is out I'm from Liberty City. No. That's where you're from.
I've been there.
Class is out.
Yeah, I'm a full man.
Baby.
All right?
Baby.
No, we're not doing that.
We're not doing that.
There's something.
We ain't doing that.
There should be some secrecy.
There's got to be some rules to the game. No.
We don't need no secrecy.
That's it.
Rules.
That's rules to the game.
Listen, rules is what's got us in the position we in right now as a people.
That's the goddamn problem.
Let me give you one.
Let me give you one, and I need a real answer.
And you can't laugh.
Give it to me.
Have you ever heard your mama fart?
Yep.
Paula Antoinette Johnson.
I knew you was going to say that.
I'd have heard Paula Antoinette Johnson pass ass.
I knew you was going to say that.
Yes, sir.
My mama ain't never heard my mom fuck.
Never.
Never?
Never.
Never.
Mom or grandma or sister.
Never.
I ain't never heard my grandma fuck.
You come from Nancy.
None of them.
None.
And I love your mama.
I love grandma.
You don't love grandma.
But you come from Nancy.
Do you understand?
Who?
Yeah.
You come from Nancy.
That's what I was on the field, too.
Nancy.
That's how I know you would have gotten this work.
We ain't going to the field. We ain't going to the field.
We ain't going to the field.
Anytime.
I'm talking about not one woman.
I'm talking about cousins.
Not one.
I'm talking about daughters.
I'm talking about aunts.
None.
Never gone to the bathroom.
Fellas, fellas, fellas, fellas.
My youngest daughter, she'll go in my office, break one off.
I ain't going to lie to you about that.
Fellas, listen.
I got to put y'all boys in therapy, man, because y'all can't live like this.
Wait, I didn't go to therapy.
Listen, wait, stay with me.
We got to put you in therapy, though.
Wait, wait, wait, baby.
Wait, stay with me, baby.
Y'all can't have women scared to be themselves around you when it comes to things that are natural.
I don't like that.
I don't like that.
It feels like imprisonment, and I want better for y'all.
No.
I'm going to get on y'all about this.
Hold on. feels like imprisonment and I want better for y'all. No. I'm going to get on y'all about this. There are certain things that women
say, you know what, I won't
tolerate that from a man.
If you can't go into another
business, if you can't go
into, if I'm asking
you, baby, just don't pass gas around
me. If that's too much, we
don't need to be together. We really don't.
First of all, we don't even need
to have this conversation.
We've had this conversation
about, I'm talking about not us.
I'm just saying. In general.
No, you don't even have this conversation
with your woman.
You don't have it. I'm just saying
in general, there's something that's just
natural.
I see happening, Shannon. I see, because you know he nasty. Adrenal, there's something that's just natural. So how did it happen? So how did it happen? I think me and Uncle were talking about it one time.
I see, because you know he nasty.
I see him fart so much that he went ahead and blessed it.
Baby, you know what?
You're going to fart too now.
You don't have to hold your-
Not around me.
Before what?
And the next day, you know, she's not one slip.
Prime.
This is-
Now it's a contest.
The woman got to use the bathroom.
She got to go way into the other room.
She got to go downstairs.
I think we talked about this
a few shows ago.
It was too extreme
and what a woman had to do.
It ain't no extreme.
I told her she got to go to CBS or go to Target
to use the bathroom.
We got six bathrooms in the house.
She got to go to the east wing
while he on the west wing gets to use the bathroom.
You know Shannon don't play that.
When you use the bathroom
over Shannon Crib, you better fold that toilet paper
up and bend it like they do in the hotel.
You better fold that. That's how he get down.
Y'all know that.
You nasty, Ocho.
You nasty.
You know what I don't like?
See, I remain my true, authenticcho. You nasty. You know what I don't like? You know what I don't like? See, I remain my true authentic self privately and publicly.
You are authentic.
You are authentic.
Authentic nasty.
Listen, y'all nasty too, but this ain't the place for y'all because y'all can't do that.
Me, this is me all day, 24-7.
This is me.
Y'all.
But this is us.
Nah.
You can't accept us for being us.
We all.
We accept for you to be you.
Listen, we all come from the same cloth.
Y'all ain't up in here pulling wool over my ass.
Y'all ain't but we didn't come from the same...
Far in front of your man ain't normal.
We...
What?
That's this new age thing, Ocho.
Ocho, that can't...
We in the same age bracket now.
What you talking about?
Come on now.
Far in front of your man ain't normal.
Hey, Shannon, do a poll. Can you do a poll?
Yes.
They don't know.
They don't know.
We're going to the fan questions.
Lady Ray asks, Shannon Ocho's biggest
pet peeves about women
besides passing gas and not
eating McDonald's. Coach Prime, what is another
pet peeve of yours?
You say a woman smacking with a mouth open.
Your woman smacking.
What about dress?
What about dress?
Do you have a problem with that? No, like your nails can't be beat up.
Like your nails.
You want a manicure.
Yeah, they can't be tore up, dog.
That's my only pet peeve right there. You just hit right on it. Your that can't be tore up dog that's my that's my only pet peeve
right there
you just
you just hit right on it
your nails can't be tore up
I am

I'm not even going to ask you that
because you in a different...
No, but, no, no, no, no, no.
But no, I know you like that kind of stuff.
I mean that, you know,
Shannon was talking about that.
Can I ask you a question?
Can I ask you a question?
Yeah.
Where you from?
Where you from?
Fort Myers.
You're from Fort Myers.
Where that's at?
What Fort Myers at?
Florida.
Okay, you from the crib.
Now, we the exactly the same. Okay, next from the crib. Now, we the exactly the same.
Okay, next topic.
No, we ain't.
No, just because we come from the same place,
doesn't mean we the same.
Hey, listen.
Boy, listen.
Florida, big state.
Tell the prime.
Prime, don't do that.
I was with you.
Me and you, I was with you at Free League in 1992.
Me and you were at Free League in 1992.
That's a lie.
But anyway.
That's a lie.
But anyway.
That one you?, when you are now, we had we had this discussion about a woman in her dress.
Is there is there is there something that she could put on?
You can say, no, you ain't leaving the house in this way.
I'm sorry when she tried too hard.
Don't don't you can't you can't try too hard.
Just let it be. Just let it be natural. Don't trying too hard. You can't try too hard. Just let it be.
Just let it be natural.
Don't try too hard.
Like if you walk out in your outfit saying,
I want some attention.
We got a problem.
You don't have to.
You're too beautiful for that.
You better than that.
How do you get that?
How the split could come up?
I don't want to see Jesus. There we go. On her. I want to see Jesus on her. Prime. I don't want to see Jesus.
There we go.
On her.
I want to see Jesus on her. Prime.
I want to see Jesus on her.
Listen, I told Uncle last night,
it's all about understanding
and knowing who
and what you're dealing with.
Now, if it's somebody
that you're just having fun with,
listen, mama,
you can wear whatever you want.
But if you're dealing with a woman
you're trying to build an empire with,
you can't build an empire with,
you can't build an empire with nobody, wow,
that's looking for attention from the village.
When you put your fingers up there, your hands look bad too, by the way.
But anyway, that's a whole other thing. That's what happens when you got great hands.
But your hands didn't look good when you just said your hands.
I look fat, and I look heavy as fingers are.
Yeah, but when he said, he just talked about the petty man in your hands.
No, the other side.
Yeah, yeah, they don't look like they were straight. Yeah, man, you need to get your hands. That's what you're talking about. padded man in your hand And on the other side Yeah yeah They don't look like
They was straight back
Yeah man
You need to get your hands
That's why your hands
You look on the inside
It's Christmas time

I don't do gifts no more.
You're going to come out cheap
and give money.
Yeah.
See?
You're going to come out cheap
and you're going to save time
and give money, though.
Don't do that.
I did that already.
They going to get gifts.
I'm going to get gifts.
They sent me a list
and I'm getting the stuff they put on the list, I'm getting it for them.
Gunner, Gunner, Gunner.
6,000 people
have voted.
53% say farting in front of your man
is okay.
I need to see the age
demographic.
Don't try to change it.
This is something natural.
Listen.
Wait, let me finish. Go ahead. Don't try to change it. Don't try to change it. This is something natural. Listen. That's not natural.
Ocho.
Wait, wait.
Let me finish.
Go ahead.
Let me finish.
Go ahead.
Go ahead.
Prime.
Unc.
Passing gas.
Fraudulating.
It's normal.
Telling your spouse they have to go to a completely
different room.
Far, Duncan, my bad.
Going to a completely
different room
just to do
what is natural
and you got to have your stomach hurt
because they holding it.
That's not right.
That is imprisonment.
Okay.
Chewing your food is natural.
But time says someone smacking
is not acceptable.
I understand that.
That's like nails on a chalkboard.
Chewing food is natural.
Yes, but you can do it
with your mouth closed.
Okay, you can go to the bathroom and fart.
You're not in front of me.
Okay, all right.
But, you know, to each his own.
To each his own.
Thank you.
What we're saying, you're not going to make it far in a relationship with us.
Like, you cool with a farter.
We cool.
You cool.
That's it.
Well, listen, the funny thing about it, they're going to do it anyway.
They're going to do it anyway.
I'm sorry. You just said mama farted.
You just said mama farted.
I'm sure she did because I can smell it.
I can smell it. I can smell it.
I remember.
Mama, rest in peace.
I can smell it.
But she was staying.
It came from somewhere and it wasn't me.
So I'm sure she did it.
I haven't experienced that.
I've never experienced that.
Because that's not going to go well.
It happened one time.
I'm going to tell the story another day in time how that happened.
A girl farted?
She farted on you?

That ain't channel. That's not. Don't do that. Y'all ain't no good.
Don't do that.
You want what you want me to say?
I like that.
First of all, for her to look back and say,
excuse me, she just should have rolled with it. Hey, I got to write that down.
I got to write that down.
Don't even write that down. That's nasty, though.
Yes, sir.
We had a question. I think the four pillars
are religion money
parenting
and in-laws
someone tweeted earlier says I'm not marrying into
a family that doesn't like me if I go to a
man's family function and his mom
his aunties his sisters cousins are being weird
to me I'll leave him alone
because I don't care how long we've been together
leave him alone because that man ain't got no money because any man
that got some money, mama gonna show up.
Mama
gonna show up.
Any man, I have not met
one that mama ain't
cracked that thing up.
Because on the mama,
mama doesn't think anybody is good enough
for her kids.
Then they think mama thinking you skipped the line.
Yeah.
Because mama been there waiting for 20-some years to get hers.
Then here you come.
Yeah.
And you get hers.
Yeah.
Mama don't like that.
That's tough.
That's tough.
You know what?
When I mentor even my kids that play for me, as well as pros,
I always tell them, hey, man, after that game, make sure you teach your woman to fall back and let you go to mama first.
Yeah.
Because if you go to her first, oh, the rest of that evening is going to be bad.
Oh, he ain't going to be, oh, no, it's going to be home.
So make sure he go to hug mama first.
Even if he try to hug you, you better whisper in his ear, you better go hug your mama, boy. Right. Because it's on. on so make sure he go to hug mama first even if he try to hug you you better whisper in his ear you better
go hug your mama boy right
because it's on and y'all know that
yeah for sure
it was always mom
getting first
actually it's going mom sister
and then you
but everybody you understand
position yeah but they don't
sometimes they don't.
Sometimes they don't. Right.
You're right.
You're right.
And you know sometimes, all the time, they don't.
But what happens when you become married?
Because, you know, when you played, you were married.
But the Bible says leave and please.
I ain't get to that part.
That's what the Bible says, but I ain't get there for you.
Because you do that if you want to.
It's on. It's not going Bible said, but I ain't get that far yet. Because you do that if you want to. It's on.
It's not going to be a good evening at the crib.
I'm trying to tell you.
Y'all know that.
Y'all know it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Listen, you already know how my mama is.
So you already know how that go.
Oh, mama going to crank that thing up.
Hey.
This guy,
I can talk about what Shannon,
well, tonight, guys, say, Shay, you should use a Lady Bassinate water hose.
I know what that is.
And dry wipe in the bathroom.
Let me tell you what I did.
You know, I go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
And, you know, I don't like putting the seat up and put it down.
So, you know, I go to the bathroom, leave the seat up.
She said, Shannon, every time I go to the bathroom, the seat is up.
And I said, you know what?
To keep you happy, you know what I did?
You know what I did, guys?
Brad and Ocho, you know what I did?
I wouldn't put a urinal in the bathroom.
You got to.
I don't have a urinal.
Like you go to a concert or a sporting event.
I got one right there. I don't own a home without a ur go to a concert or a sporting event. I got one right there.
I don't own a home without a urinal.
Okay.
That's what I did.
Just to keep confusion down.
First of all, I'm not going to be aiming in the middle of the night.
Nope.
And I'm not going to get ready to do the split just to hit the water.
I'm not doing that.
Yeah, because I ain't opened my eyes yet in the bathroom.
I ain't finna do the split to hit the water.
So I got a urinal.
That's a different kind of money. I ain't never my eyes yet in the bathroom. I ain't finished doing the split to hit the water. So I got to hear. That's a different kind of money.
I ain't never seen a urinal inside a home.
I've never heard of that.
You must have come in my room when you visited me.
No, no.
Y'all got money, man.
How much a urinal cost?
Not much.
Not much.
Not enough to keep the fusion down and having a conversation.
I got like a heated toilet seat. Not much. Not enough to keep the fusion down and having a conversation. It's like a heated toilet seat.
Like, I like a heated toilet seat.
I like, I like...
Whoa, they got heated toilet seats?
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's some new shit, huh?
Mm-mm.
It's old.
Like, everybody would...
If they wouldn't have been far
to walk around your house,
you probably would know
this kind of stuff now.
I'm just saying,
I live in Miami.
It's 90 degrees.
90 degrees year round
no
yeah but still
they're asking
those questions
when you sitting
there for a minute
after all them
farts that y'all
have released
no it's not
y'all being a little
excessive with it
it's not like that
you know just
when you gotta go
you gotta go
excessive
I love the word selection
I appreciate it
I appreciate it
you know I've been
reading the dictionary
because I'm on TV now
out of the 95 Cowboys,
98 Broncos,
I don't know why in the hell
they threw the 05 Bengals
in this conversation,
Prime.
He lying.
We running through all y'all.
Just stop.
We running through y'all.
We running through y'all.
I'm with Jack,
because he playing.
Hey, listen.
The 05 Bengals?
Just stop, man.
Where you was at?
Where you was at? Where you was at?
Where you was at?
You was with the Cowboys?
I was in the house.
I know.
I'm saying.
He was 95.
He was with the Cowboys.
95.
Were you with the Cowboys?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Man, I would have turned that 21 to 12.
Man, don't play at me.
First of all, hey.
First of all, hey, don't make me come through them.
Hey, I was in my prime.
Prime.
I would have turned that 21 to 12, man.
Don't make me turn the Zoom real. I was in my prime. I would have turned that 21-1. We'll let the Bengals put their top 22 players all time,
and we'll still beat them.
So you put your best 22 players.
Go ahead and get to the question.
He going to divert you, man.
He never had no good team.
He never played for no good team.
He never played for no good team.
Don't play my 05 Bengals, boy.
It was the real deal now.
Since all you guys have track backgrounds,
who are some of the favorite Olympic track stars,
past and present, male or female?
That's a good one.
Yeah, that's a real good one.
I met Flojo one time, man.
Did you?
Damn, for real?
Yeah, man.
I met Flojo one time, and, you know, I, for real? Yeah, man. I met Flojo one time and
you know, I fanned out. I fanned out.
And I was him at the time when I met
her. I fanned out. So
she was off the chain.
Yeah, she was off the
chain. And y'all can say,
first of all, let's get this straight.
In our era, Shannon, you know Carl Lewis was him,
man. Yes, I met Carl.
Yes, absolutely.
I met Michael Johnson, too.
Michael Johnson was him.
Yeah, yeah.
Michael was kind of after our moment.
Yes.
But Michael was a bad boy.
But Carl Lewis, man, please, man.
Yes.
Because you remember that we got upset when Ben Johnson got out that hole that time?
Yeah, he jumped out on Carl.
And they didn't get forward.
Yeah.
Uh-uh, uh-uh.
Something wrong.
Something going on there. Then they drugged it to being right after the car. And they didn't get forward. Yeah. Uh-uh, uh-uh. Something wrong. Something going on now.
And they drug tested me right after the race.
Like, come on.
Come on in here.
Yeah, he was peeing fire.
That's a great question.
I would have to go with Sha'Carri.
You met Sha'Carri?
Right.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
She brought my daughter.
Yeah, yeah.
You know, my daughter run track.
So they ran an Anson complex here.
Every, all, everybody was in the town.
And my, my daughter that run track,
we went up there and I was there.
I was able to meet her for the first time.
Your daughter got it too, dog.
Yeah.
You know, she had university,
you know, she had university in Kentucky.
I didn't know that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
She had UK.
She had UK.
They got a track program.
If she want to transfer to Boulder,
I think I hook up too.
I'm just saying, you know,
Colorado. Wait, I asked you for up too. I'm just saying, you know, Colorado.
Wait,
I asked you for a job.
You told me no,
but my daughter
can come.
No,
I don't want you.
I want the daughter
because you ain't
going to do right.
Y'all,
especially y'all
rock around far now.
I know that.
Sherelle,
Sherelle just
donated $200.
Now,
now,
I love y'all,
but y'all better leave my baby alone.
Thank you.
Yeah.
You better get them,
baby.
You know,
yeah,
yeah.
You see,
I always like the crazy one.
Yeah.
That's what I want to know.
You know,
they always like the crazy.
They do.
That's all.
Honestly,
honestly,
honestly,
honestly,
I'm not going to lie to you,
Chad.
If this was new edition, you would be Bobby.
What?
You would be Bobby.
That ain't no true.
Bobby, please.
Bobby was it.
Yeah.
Yeah, I was it, but I'm just saying the other side of Bobby is the complete.
But if this was a new addition, you would be Bobby.
Nah, man.
I don't do nothing like Bobby, though.
I don't, I don't, I don't.
Yeah, you do.
You do everything like Bobby.
You do.
You got, you do.
You do.
Like what?
You just don't get in trouble at all, but you do all things like Bobby. Everything. You do everything like Bobby. You do. You got... You do. You do. Like what? You just don't get in trouble at all,
but you do all things like Bobby.
Everything.
You do everything.
Like, you got Bobby-like tendencies.
Like, you got Bobby-like tendencies.
Like, you would leave the group
and go start...
I smoke cigars.
You would leave the group
and go start your own thing.
You would do that.
Okay, I like that.
I like where you're going.
I like where you're going.
I like where you're going now.
Don't be cruel.
Yeah. Yeah, you do. Don't be cruel. Like, all them songs are your songs. I like where you going. I like where you going now. Don't be cruel. Yeah.
Yeah, you do.
Don't be cruel.
Like, all them songs are your songs.
Okay.
That's me.
Jam, right answer.
Go ahead.
Shannon would be...
Johnny Gill.
No, you definitely don't.
You too big for Johnny Gill.
I don't know about right now.
Right now?
Well, you ought to see Bobby right now.
Man, Bobby do one note.
Bobby like over there.
Shannon would be Mike.
Shannon would be Mike Bivens.
Mike Bivens?
Yeah, Mike was the guy behind everything.
Mike made everything happen.
So he like Quiet Boy from the Five Heartbeats then?
No.
No?
He like Duck
from the High
Power Hard Beast.
Okay, okay, okay,
okay, okay.
That's my favorite
movie.
You know that,
right?
That's my favorite
movie of all time.
Hard Beast,
the real deal.
That's my favorite
movie I watched
a hundred times.
Well, we already
know, we already
know, Chad,
Eddie Cain.
Yeah, you
Eddie Cain,
though.
Come on, man.
No, you
Eddie Cain,
though.
I feel like
this.
Hey, baby.
Get them, boy.
They jumping on me, baby.
Jazz Wright asked a great question.
He said, why do players find it so hard to take your criticism
and genuine feedback to see them get better?
I guess it's easier to attack the messenger instead of digest the message.
Because players, sometimes they're wrong with the criticism.
Sometimes the criticism is not warranted.
Sometimes you criticize based off your insecurities.
Don't do that.
Yeah.
Don't do that.
Yeah.
Criticize, but not based off what you're saying you would have done, because you don't have the ability to do what that would have done.
Right.
So that's my problem with the criticism.
I look at it like this.
Before this social media blew up time, what we would ask of people that was critiquing us, okay, did you play? All these players now, they wanted someone that actually played the game,
that had an intimate knowledge of the game,
to know what it's like to be in the locker room,
to know what it's like to be in the huddle,
to know what it's like in the field and feel that.
Okay, so now, and then when they got that, they said,
well, you didn't win anything.
So now when I critique a player, not only did I win at the highest level, I won multiple times. Not only did I win multiple
times, I got the ultimate validation
by being selected in camp.
So now what is, oh, you
jealous. You mad because you didn't make as much
money. I made a damn lot of
money for tight ends when I played.
Times change. Inflation.
Okay, guys are making money. I get
nothing. You ask me to give
you my honest assessment when i give it to you you don't like it because i critique your favorite
player so i don't understand how i win i think i think it's a different era we're in a different
era and i think it's more so delivery i think delivery is very very important in the way
we are critical and we analyze players.
It will be seen, regardless of how you try to do it, it will be seen as hate because there's really no way to criticize a player without him feeling a certain way about it.
And again, I talk with you all, we talk about this all the time.
We do.
And they get on me a lot about not being able to be critical of players when they don't play the way they should. And I
always go back from a point of view of knowing what it's like to be them. Now, opposed to being
on the other side with the media now, it's very difficult for me to say he did A, B, and C,
but I'd rather talk about D, E, and F on what he can do to make sure it doesn't happen again.
I don't even want to focus on the negative.
I don't want to be the problem.
I want to tell you what the solution is so you don't play like that again.
But that's not what happened.
You got to critique on what you saw,
not what you think you're going to get down the road.
First of all, he ain't going to do that.
He's not going to do that.
You know Chad ain't going to do that.
He ain't going to critique nobody.
He ain't, you know, Chad, he ain't going to do that. He's not built like that. You know Chad ain't going to do that. He ain't going to critique nobody. He ain't, you know,
Chad ain't built like that. Chad,
Chad, Chad
not want to be because he is.
Chad is a good dude and he want to be
loved. He just want to be held.
I want to be what?
Held.
He just want to be held.
I mean, he just want to be loved.
I like criticism. You know what's funny? Think about
when I played.
I love, I like to hate.
I want you to hate. I want you to talk trash.
I want you to say bad things about me.
Like, I enjoyed it.
I enjoyed the media saying bad stuff.
Like, it's like, it
lights somewhat of a fire.
You know? And that's why, to me, I don't
understand why players care what the media says.
That should motivate you.
You know, I use that...
Because you can't expect people
to be who you are. That's what I had to learn
as a coach years ago. You can't expect
people to be you. You can't expect people
to feel like you, to think like you, to interpret
things like you, to
even fathom things like you.
They ain't built like that. Chad God only made one of you, man. They ain't built like that. Chad God only made
one of you, man. They ain't built like that.
We at the highest level. This is the NFL, though.
So you making excuses for them.
You see what you just did?
Let me finish. Let me get where I'm going.
To even get to the pinnacle of your childhood
dream, you've had to be through some shit.
You've had to go through some stuff.
So anything being said
in and or about you shouldn't even
bother you and once you made it talk about new edition i said you about brown and i said he
probably was uh right you know there's a rap trans man too now right right yeah i need a man
with sensitivity right right a lot of these kids are sensitive okay they can't handle that that's
a good analogy right there.
Men with sensitivity.
You quick with it.
Where I'm from.
The way the human brain is wired,
Coach, you know this,
somebody can say a thousand good things about a person,
but it's the one negative thing that they're going to hear.
It's just like if, Ocho,
if you go outside and you sign a thousand autographs, if you don't sign a thousand and one, you a jerk.
Tell me, why are we driven to the one comment out of ten that's positive?
Now, the one is negative, but the other nine are positive.
Yes.
Why are you attracted? See, I'm not attracted to that. I can care less, really, but the other nine are positive. Yes. Why are you attracted?
See, I'm not attracted to that.
I can care less, really, genuinely.
I can care less.
Why are we as a people, mostly, attracted to that one negative comment?
Why are we drawn to that?
Why does the negative media, negative headlines, negative stories, why does it sell more than positive? Why does it create
more attention? Why does it create more eyes
than those of positive stories? Well, people like
to see wrong instead of right. Now, if I go outside
and say a blessing, a blessing, a blessing, ain't
nobody running out there. But if I go out there and say
a fight, a fight, a fight,
they're going to clear the room.
They're going to clear the room.
They're running out there.
That's just how we built.
That's just the way,
that's how we built.
DJ Can Do More asks,
why don't black men consider Serena
one of the top five black athletes of all time?
She is.
Nobody said that.
Who said she wasn't?
Who said she was?
Who say black men?
Like, where your poll come from?
I don't know where that statistic came from. She is. who put that in whoever that is and god bless you i don't know
where you get that from uh hey let me let me tell you something about serena too this is a good one
this is a good one i was working with the nfl network and all of us was on the elevator i'm
not going to mention all the names of the people that i worked with that was on the elevator. I'm not gonna mention all the names of the people that I work with that was on the elevator.
And we were on the elevator and Serena,
elevator opens up and Serena walks on the elevator.
And she walks on there and of course she acknowledged anyone cuz she's a kind
person and then she turned around and they pushed the button and we went where we
went.
But one gentleman on the elevator looked down and said, oh, my God.
Do you feel like you like that?
Oh, that they were right.
Oh, I'm talking about one of the people on the elevator looked down and said, oh, my.
You read that little say, oh, my God.
I'm not going to say who she was with.
But you remember she came to the Pro Bowl.
I want that in. Oh, I know. I say who she was with, but you remember she came to the Pro Bowl? I wasn't there then.
Oh, I know who it was.
She came to the Pro Bowl,
and this had to be,
so she probably was like 21, 22?
Wait.
USC?
New York?
New York Jet?
Mm-mm.
No?
Oh, I'm off.
I remember that.
I remember hearing about that.
Yeah.
I'm wrong?
Nah.
Look, she's married and he's married,
but she was a very curvy, nicely built young lady.
Why don't you just say she was sitting on something and quit playing, though?
Just say that, man.
Oh, she was stacked like dirty laundry.
She was stacked like dirty laundry in the dorm room.
Thank you.
Because I know you had a saying.
I know you have.
Yeah, you're right.
Woo.
Lord have mercy.
Yeah, that's what they said on the back of the elevator.
It was one of my Caucasian co-workers said, oh, my God.
There's a face says,
High Coach Prime, in Ocho's defense,
he gave me that heat for choosing dogs over people.
He gives criticism not so much for wide receivers,
but will support him on nightcap through and through.
Great show tonight.
What did they say?
She said he gets upset for choosing dogs over people.
He get mad at me.
He'll criticize me for choosing dogs over people that he get mad at me. He'll criticize me for choosing dogs over people,
but he won't.
That's right.
He won't.
That ain't right though.
I ain't,
that ain't right though.
You can't choose no dog.
You can't choose no animal.
No,
no,
no woman.
Thank you.
No,
Chad,
I know how you are with a,
with an animal,
no man.
Yeah.
He said,
you ain't like that.
Hey,
you let the dogs get on the bed.
I'll let the motherfucker borrow my car.
No, no.
The dog ain't get on the bed now.
Hey, he can get in the car.
He can get in the front seat.
You got to stop that, dog.
You got to stop.
You got to stop that, Shatter.
I told you.
Yeah, that's not right.
I ain't even talking about how you treat me.
Like, I don't really want to go there.
How you treat me? I really want to go there. How you really treat me.
I really want to tell these folks how you really treat me now.
I'm tired of texting you and talking about how nasty you are.
I'm tired of that.
And you're selfish.
And you're straight out selfish.
This man will text me.
This man will text me.
Ocho, the man texts me, you ain't right.
And that's it.
That's the problem.
Yeah, you used to know what I'm talking about.
Like, if I text Chad on site, he know damn well what I'm talking about.
Yeah.
Because we all got these little codes.
You know damn well what I'm talking about.
I know exactly what you're talking about.
Yeah.
Damon Lee asked, Coach Prime, would you let a woman choose the restaurant on the first date?
How would that have it?
Okay, how much?
Now, you know I got a stop sign
in my pocket. I know you do.
I know you do.
You know me.
Hey, my money got these on.
That's how long they ain't been out.
My money got shades on.
There we go. It ain't been out my money got shades on there we go
it ain't been in the long time
everybody flyin' down there
I money gotta feel your wrist
oh you got that ray on
my money got that ray
my money gotta feel your wrist
no but I want the woman to choose
whichever place she goes because
I'm so
man I'm old school, man.
I take you to Waffle House in a heartbeat, man.
Come on.
Come on, now.
I take you to Waffle House.
I take you to Golden Corral.
Come on, now.
Hey, man.
But you go to the place, you ain't spending a fifth of the dollar.
You can give them.
I like salt grass.
It ain't about how much I'm spending as long as we happy.
That is how they look at it. First of all, I'm the entertainment.
I'm going to make sure we happy because I'm going to guide the conversation.
And we're going to have a good time, man.
First of all, all three of us, we obtain the gift of conversation.
Yes.
Yeah.
I talk too much.
We obtain the gift of entertainment as well.
Yes.
We're great conversationalists.
So it's not going to be a boring date
unless you say something
to trigger us.
This ain't it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You hit that trigger now.
This ain't it now.
Nah, I'm going to eat.
I already eat fast,
but I'm going to eat faster
than I normally do.
That thing going to be,
we going to be in and out of there
in 30 minutes.
Yeah, we ain't going to get
an appetite.
We ain't going to,
because you ain't going to spend it.
If it ain't right. Mm-mm. Yeah, we ain't going to get an appetite. We ain't going to, because you know, I ain't going to spend it. If it ain't right, we ain't.
Yeah, I'm going to call one of them boys.
Hey, man.
Come kick with me down here.
They asked, Mickey Housley asked, how many Super Bowl rings would John Elway have if
Shannon was replaced by Ocho?
That's a good question.
First of all, you can't replace Shannon.
You can't replace Shannon but how many
how many you gonna have Ocho
oh about three
so John gonna have one more than what he got
if you take me I can put you in
yeah
how you figure that
I don't know it just. Yeah. How you figure that? I don't know. It just sound good, though.
It sound real good.
Since we talking hypotheticals,
I'm going to make sure it sounds good to me.
You don't like the block.
You don't like the block.
And Pratt, he don't do it.
No, no, no, no, no.
Don't say I don't like the block.
I might have lost every time I block,
but my man ain't make the tackle.
That's all that matters.
And the West Coast offense, he got blocked.
He'll run you off, too.
Now, he'll run you off, too.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
And I'm taking two or three people with me every time.
In his defense, when he was on,
there wasn't nobody in the game better than his stretch.
In his stretch, there wasn't nobody in the game better. Uh stretch. In his stretch,
wasn't nobody in the game better. I'm going to tell you
something.
How we first got down was one of my friends,
Lenny Harris. He was telling me, hey, man,
young cat down here.
He said he got it. He talking junk.
He said he'll do this, do that. You know what?
I invited him to the crib.
Oh, yeah. And he came out to the crib,
Shannon. And we worked. I invited several guys to the crib. Oh, yeah. And he came out to the crib, Shannon. And we worked.
I invited, like, several guys to the crib to just work on their game,
work on their life, just work, period.
And he was one of them, man.
He was one of them.
And I saw right then, I said, boy, that boy got some.
Because his feet was unbelievable.
And you know what's so funny?
This is how smart he was.
I had Mike come over to work with some of the receivers
too and afterwards he wanted to meet with me because he's like hey man i know what mike
teaching me and all that but that ain't me i don't like him to touch me dog i like i said he right
you're right because that's that's that always stayed with me because as a coach i can't just
teach what i do i gotta teach what's best for you.
Right.
Mike was a big physical receiver.
Yeah, yeah.
So Mike was teaching him
that his release
and that joke and I
ain't want you to get a hand on him.
He ain't want you to touch him.
And he had that.
He had that.
And it's so funny.
I'm not going to take the credit
because he's a bad boy.
But the information,
everything he gained,
I think it just gave him
because there was some corners that that was good, too.
Oh, yeah.
He went that next year, dog, and went off.
Went off.
Like, he went off in the NFL.
Off.
I'm Michael Kassin, founder and CEO of 3C Ventures and your guide on good company.
The podcast where I sit down with the
boldest innovators shaping what's next. In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi,
for a conversation that's anything but ordinary. We dive into the competitive world of streaming,
how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream gold, connecting audiences with stories that truly
make them feel seen.
What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core. It's this idea that there are so many stories out there.
And if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content,
the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen.
Get a front row seat to where media, marketing, technology,
entertainment, and sports collide. And hear how leaders like Anjali are carving out space
and shaking things up a bit in the most crowded of markets. Listen to Good Company on the iHeart
Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
In the fall of 1986,
Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal that looked like it might bring down his presidency.
Did you make a mistake in sending arms to Tehran, sir?
Please do.
To hear the whole story, listen to Fiasco, Iran Contra on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
I'm Culture J. Yo, guys, we've heard about your pregame rituals, but what about your postgame rituals?
Did you have anything that you did time? Did you have anything you did, Ocho, after the game?
Oh, I always had migraines. I always had migraines.
So controlling the migraine from being up,
being fired up and just wanting to go get it,
that calming down period was tough.
So I always had migraines.
So on the plane ride back home,
they was medicating me and trying to give me stuff
and ice everywhere.
I couldn't never do nothing after games.
So I always went to the crib, straight home.
Yeah.
My routine after every game in Cincinnati was always the same.
Win or lose, I'm going to Jay Alexander's in Hyde Park.
I have a celebratory cigar.
Win or lose, obviously for getting out of the game healthy.
And that was it.
I did the same thing after every game for a decade straight
and if the people if corporate from jay alexander sees this if y'all don't bring back them goddamn
honey butter biscuits i know some honey butter croissants oh man what'd you do jay
i normally just went home
I'd go get something
occasionally we'd go to guys
hold on wasn't there something
no I'm just asking
you mean something to eat
yeah it wasn't nothing going on
my body was man you know I was lean
I didn't insinuate that but you said something
I wasn't going to be able to do nothing
I'd have locked up on her.
And then she got it.
I'd have to get an IV.
I was like this here.
So no, occasionally I would go.
We'd go out to guys.
We'd go get something to eat.
But most of the time,
I would call ahead, get an order.
There was this restaurant called Black Happy.
I would call ahead, get chicken, rice, broccoli, corn,
two wheat rolls,
and a lemonade.
He always was disciplined on his eating, man.
I would quit prime. Did you eat healthy
when you played? No. No. Thank you,
man. Thank you. I was so
ignorant when we was in Atlanta. I had soul
food catered for lunch for everybody, for the
whole team. Man, you...
Collard greens and rice and black-eyed peas,
baked chicken. We was eating
there for lunch, didn't go out there to practice. I was like,
man, we a lost that man, man.
All I'm going to do, y'all eat that, I'm going
to sleep. I appreciate
that. I'm glad you said that.
I've been telling people for 30
some years, they don't listen to me.
No, I didn't. I wish I had it, though.
I wish I had it.
I wish I had it. See, you hear that? You hear that, though? I always stayed in shape, but I didn't. I wish I had it, though. I wish I had it. I wish I had it.
See, you hear that?
You hear that, don't you?
I always stayed in shape, but I didn't eat right.
Right. I didn't eat right either.
And I always stayed in shape.
Yeah, but you're a freak genetically, dog.
You can eat whatever you want.
You still going to stay lean.
But you know, I still, but I work like a madman.
I'm still working like a madman.
I ain't got no, I don't even play.
You just, you going to always be lean.
That's your gene.
You don't have the disposition
to put on weight.
You're not going to be 250. You're not going to be
300, Ocho. That's not your body frame.
Look how narrow...
I'm 220.
He don't like to call him narrow. He get offended.
I'm 220. What are you talking about narrow?
You've never been 200 in your life, hey. I'm 220. What are you talking about narrow? I'm not 220. You've never been 200 in your life, hey.
I'm 220 right now?
What y'all talking about? Look.
You've never been...
I don't think you've ever
hit 200 in your life, hey. Nah, never.
Nah, hell nah.
Hey, Pratt, you know how they used to have it at the NFL experience?
They had that jersey, and the little kids
go stick their head in that thing and you see
the little body hanging.
That's what he looked like
in that jersey right there.
But, dog,
he always been ripped, though.
He always been shredded.
Oh, yeah.
I'm ripped now.
I'm ripped now.
You always been.
You always been that way.
Yeah, don't play it.
Jacob commented,
we all know
Unk brushed his teeth
immediately after the game.
Oh, yeah.
I had to get that in.
But I saw that
the other day, dog.
I don't do it as much as you do, but I probably
brush about five times a day.
I have to brush after I
eat every time.
Thank you!
You said ten times a day.
That's excessive.
Somebody told Shannon, I'm going to tell you what happened.
Shannon ain't tell y'all. I'm going to tell y'all
because I love y'all.
Somebody told Shannon when he was younger that his breath
stank. That's what they did, no time.
I know we can play like they did,
but somebody told him that
his breath stank and
he was defensive and he
wanted to defuse that, so he just went
over-brushing because somebody told,
like somebody, somebody said...
Honestly, I've never had,
well, not anyone that told me, because
you know that's a very tough conversation to have
with a homeboy. No, it ain't.
Not when you're from Florida. We had that conversation.
Oh, yeah. I've always been the one
to point out those things that nobody want to talk
about. Yeah, I mean, but you know,
you got to make a joke of it, though, Ty. You just can't
say, man, your mouth. You got to make a joke of it.
Yeah. You ain't got to make no joke. You say, hey, wait, you want a joke of it, though, Ty. You just can't say, man, your mouth. You got to make a joke of it. Yeah.
You ain't got to make no joke.
You say, hey, wait, you want a piece of gum?
Nah.
I'd be like, no, I'm just saying.
Well, you got to kick sand up under your tongue.
Why your tongue hard?
Like, you're doing it.
Yeah.
You got to make a joke. You know, you got to make a joke.
I've always pointed out those things
that people wouldn't
point out
somebody said something
but you know
when you spend the kind of money that we don't spend
on these things man I gotta keep them right
you ain't lying that's the cost
I got man when I first started doing TV
give me the whole grill
how much the whole grill cost give me the whole grill. How much the whole grill cost?
Give me the whole
grill, all 32.
Every
land one of them.
Bang.
All 32.
Prime, how do you feel about the media painting
a false narrative about all your players
was going to leave Colorado while watching all these top school players hit the transfer portal okay first of all
our first time when i got there i've only i only had that conversation with probably 20 players
the rest of them quit right the rest of them shut it down that was the god on his truth i didn't say
nothing about it but that's what truly happened it's almost some of them thought they was just
getting over on us,
like right before the spring game, all the defensive linemen,
but I think two of them, the interior linemen,
got together and like, we're going to quit.
Like, y'all ain't heard me.
You know, that makes it easier for us to go in the portal and get them.
And I'm like, I wish I could have talked to them before then
because I would have told them, at least you want to stay and play in the spring game because we're on national television.
And that's going to help you in the portal.
But they didn't think about that.
Also, they never did a follow up.
But I did.
I'm not going to tell you the numbers.
But all the players that got in the portal left, where are they now?
Somebody should do that follow up.
Come on now.
So you understand, did they even get to another team?
Mm.
Come on, now.
And we try to help all of them, the ones that we really talk to,
to try to get them a place to go to the play.
James said, oh, how do you brush your teeth 10 times a day,
but you let the dog sleep on the bed?
Easy.
Brush my teeth, dog sleep on the bed.
Kenny, you're taking it too far with the dog, don't you?
That dog ain't hurting nobody
Prime
yeah
you too big
for a little dog
I got a big
I got a big dog too
yeah but how
they get along
they get along great
I'm the pack leader
I'm the pack leader
so whatever
I say goes
that's how you
that's the hierarchy is
everybody
everybody falls in line behind me.
Okay.
Cause I know you always talking about relational stuff.
Yes.
If you so close to that dog,
it's no way you're going to be close to somebody else like that.
Cause you kind of love them dogs more than you love whoever it is.
I do.
I do.
I do love them.
I know you do.
I know you do.
I do.
But I,
but I love my thing. Uh, Brian, look, when I love, I love, and I love them. I know you do. I know you do. I do. But I love.
My thing is, Brian, look.
When I love you. I know I love.
And I love hard.
Right?
And so for me to have someone that I can love like them dogs.
Man, look here.
You can't do that, Shannon.
You can't say that, dog.
You can't say have somebody I love like them dogs.
That don't sound right. That don't sound right.
That don't sound right.
I just want to...
I've been trying to find him
a woman for the past three months.
And Chad be married.
You know what I can have.
That's a good question.
Wait, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
That's a good question.
Wait, wait.
Stay with me, baby.
Stay with me real quick.
Wait a minute.
Both of y'all ain't got nobody.
I got somebody for both of y'all.
I've been working on him for three months.
He difficult.
I got somebody for you.
I'm not right.
I'm not going to tell you I'm not right.
Wait, wait, wait.
What do you mean you're not right?
Because I'm married to the gang.
I'm married to what I do.
I'm married to these kids.
I'm married to the gang.
I hear all that.
I hear all that you're talking.
I got somebody for you that understands the vision,
that understands what you're going through
with everything that you're doing right now,
and she will be perfect for your journey.
Boy, that sounds real good.
Yeah.
But I ain't...
Don't worry about it.
Listen, I'm going to tell her
to text you after this.
I got you, though.
Hey, wait, wait, wait.
Stay with me real quick.
Let's work on Shannon.
Why y'all got to...
Man, he don't listen.
No. He don't listen. I know what he like. I know what he got to... Man, he don't listen. No.
He don't listen.
I know what he like.
I know what he like.
I know what he like.
But I don't know
if it's sustainable.
It's just...
Because the dog's in the way.
That's the problem.
Dog ain't in no way.
The dog's in the way.
But Prime...
You do love them dogs, boy.
You love humans.
Yeah, you do.
No, I do.
I do.
You do.
Because humans full of caca.
Yeah. Hey Prime
you trust me right? You scarred.
Prime you trust me yeah?
No. In some aspects. Okay
cause Jesus got this wheel. I got
you. Jesus got this wheel. I got somebody
for you. Boy you gonna be happy too. You gonna be like
boy you know what? I ain't never told you.
I'm not. I'm not.
I'm not listening to you. That's what I told her. I'm not listening to you I'm not I'm not I'm not
I'm not listening to you
That's what I told you
I'm not listening to you
I'm telling you
I got club
I'm not listening to you
I got first take
I got nightcap
I'm married to the game
Thank you
You see that
Why your head so hard
Listen
This is what I'm telling y'all
Y'all don't listen
I love when I do
When I do what I love
Okay
Talk to me about the attributes
Because I'm listening
I'm in the portal.
Y'all old heads, man.
Y'all stubborn.
Y'all too old to be stubborn.
That's how you need to listen to the younger folks.
Go ahead.
You hear me?
Listen to the younger folks.
What you got in opportunity?
Listen, listen.
Your antennas is always raised.
You overthink.
You analyze too much.
You act like old women that's sitting on the front porch.
If I'm telling you I got something good for you that can help you with what you're doing, why not listen?
Give me a couple of attributes.
I can't think of.
We got too many people.
We got too many.
6'1".
6'1".
That's too tall for him.
No, it ain't.
Damn.
I don't know me now.
I've been doing this man 30 years.
Hold on, hold on, Prime.
We've been close, close, close, close, close, close 15 years.
Hold on, Prime, she's 6'1", but with her heels off, she's 5'10".
Just keep talking.
You good? You like where I'm going?
Just keep talking.
You like where I'm going?
I'm listening.
I'm not built for this right now, but go ahead and talk.
Oh, no, you built for this.
Butter pecan.
Huh? Butter pecan long long long Brazilian street hair long long
okay okay
long hair
caramel
yeah caramel complexion
like butter pecan
like butterscotch
remember when you was in church and your grandma... Hold on. Hold on.
Like butterscotch.
Cut his back. Talk to me now.
Wait, you said you wanted to sin on him.
I thought you wanted to sin on him.
What?
Unc said he wanted to send her
If she ain't a sender
She ain't a winner
Five foot
To five three
Five four at the most
210
No
That's too big for him
But anywhere
You got to start off at 155
Right right
On up
Okay
Okay
But it's got to be workout.
Right, right.
They got to have a fitness life.
Curvy, right.
A fitness life.
Right, I got you.
Hard.
I got him.
Discipline.
Focus.
And she got to accept them dogs.
She got to accept them dogs.
So that's pretty much going to make her right.
But here's the thing.
Now, check this out.
Hold on.
Check this out.
Okay, Prime, Ocho.
Y'all say accept the dogs.
But what about if she got kids?
Y'all want me to accept them kids, right?
That's a good one.
But you know what's funny?
You got kids, don't you?
My kid grown.
My kid about to have them.
Your kid grown, dog.
His kid's out of there.
You still have kids.
It doesn't matter.
They are a part of you.
They come with you.
They got kids that live with you.
Yeah, it's different.
He talking about in-house, dog.
He ain't doing that.
He ain't.
If they that, you can forget that.
He ain't doing that.
Man, I'm shit, bro.
Y'all better than me.
No, I'm telling you, he ain't doing that.
I'm just telling you what you're dealing with.
Women with kids got snacks.
Women with no kids
always want to go out to eat.
I don't like that.
I'm trying to tell you
who he is.
You trying to help him?
Right.
Okay.
The people I've been
trying to hook him up with,
they ain't even got no kids.
They are professional people
in the corporate world
that have been throwing themselves,
not even throwing themselves.
No, no, no.
The couple people
that I've heard you've been
trying to hook him up to,
he don't want that.
He don't want something that everybody, everybody named mommy,
he ain't into that.
He ain't having a good time.
No, no, no, no, no.
Listen, I wouldn't even put him in that position
to be dealing with somebody that's fun.
We done did all that already.
Well, put me in that position.
I've been trying you ain't listening
don't do the we part
I got you though Prime
I got you though you gonna be happy by this
I ain't ready though dog

No, you're not.

You got a great woman.
And that's what I'm going to make sure you two have, too.
Good woman.

You got to have a plus one to my wedding. I got't walking in there by yourself. You got to have a plus one
to my wedding.
I got five kids.
I'm walking in with a whole five of them.
You know,
I'm going to take my kids everywhere.
Man, listen.
If you...
Them kids and that plus one.
I'm bringing teddy bear.
Teddy bear, my plus one.
Hey, ain't no dog.
Ain't no dog.
And them dogs allowed.
He will try to do that, Joe.

Yeah.
It may be, what's my dark complexion brother
name that passed away prematurely
oh you talk about

Here's some great ones, man.
Because I mean.
Very good ones.
You know.
I mean. Nobody mentioned Paul Mooney.
There can't be a list without Pryor.
I don't believe there can be a list without Murphy.
Even though he doesn't do it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But Eddie.
What he.
Yeah.
What he was.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But I think that the gentleman I mentioned
the thing that
most of them shared in common
is they all had shows
yeah oh yeah yeah you gotta understand
Flip Wilson you know Red Fox
all those guys had shows
Richard Pryor was doing so much
on the screen
that's what got me
early on.
They made me dream.
They're asking, Brian, what's your
favorite top water? Teach a man how to
fish, take your baby fishing, every
chance you get. What do you like
so much about the water?
The serenity and peace of it.
You might not
realize that when you go to Vegas,
those who go to vegas
it's water you see water everywhere yeah it's something about the serenity and the peacefulness
of water it makes you there they believe it makes you want to gamble more and spend more
do more it's water during out of every view in vegas and i just love water i love i love the
fish man matter of fact it's so funny that you said that
because I was in my backyard
here in Texas
and I was like,
I ain't got no water back here.
I just had them build a whole lake
in my backyard, man.
Wait, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Wait, time out, time out, time out, man.
You mean you got a lake
like Tommy Davidson did
in that Martin episode in the house?
I got a lake.
I got two lakes.
I got Lake Prime and Lake Time on property.
I just put another lake.
I have named my third lake.
I'm trying to name my third lake.
Can we eat fish out of that pond?
Because every time I know y'all.
I'm taking the red lobster.
We ain't doing that.
No, you got a catfish pond.
You're not eating my fish. You're not eating my fish.
You're not eating my fish.
Why would you want to eat my fish?
Hold on.
You built two lakes, three lakes, and you got fish in there?
I have two lakes, yeah.
What kind of fish?
I just built the third one.
What kind of fish you got?
Bass, bluegill, crappie.
Those species.
The bluegill.
Hey, man.
Let me go catch a mess of fish, man.
Okay, I'll throw the bass back, but let me keep the blue grill and the crappie.
You know what?
I'll let you do that.
Damn.
You ain't patient enough to fish anyway, so I know you ain't coming.
I'll beat you fishing, Brian.
You already talked about this.
You're not patient enough.
First of all, you ain't going to sit nowhere that long.
I know you like a book.
You know I know you.
Unless I have company.
There you go.
There you go right there. We're going to move on. You know I know you. Unless I have company. There you go. There you go right there.
We're going to move on.
You want to move on now?
Let me ask you a question.
Would you eat raccoon, possum, alligator,
or rabbit?
Rabbit. My mama scarred me with rabbit. I had a pet rabbit.
I stayed in Joan Walker's apartment.
Anybody in Fort Myers know that's apartment
complex like the projects, right? Stayed in Joan Walker's apartment. Stayed about four miles. No, that's apartment complex, like the projects, right?
Stayed in John Walker's apartment.
Stayed on the second floor.
I had a pet rabbit.
Some kind of way.
I went to school, come back, rabbit gone.
We got rabbit for dinner that night.
I said, look at him, Ma.
I said, look at him, Ma.
Y'all got to stop.
Ain't nobody cook your rabbit.
I said, well, how we got rabbit and my rabbit gone?
We on the second floor.
We on the second floor. Where did my rabbit go?
Like, how my rabbit gonna leave
or run away in the second floor in the hood?
How?
But we got rabbit. No, your stepdaddy,
he went and got rabbit from dying
here, and that's the rabbit he cooked.
Well, where my rabbit?
I'm scarred.
I'm scarred by that rabbit. To this day. I'm scarred by that rabbit.
To this day, I'm scarred by that rabbit.
How you going to cook my rabbit and ask me to eat it?
They asked, Eduardo Tapia asked, Coach Prime,
if you could choose as a head coach,
would you be the head coach or the general manager of the Chargers?
I don't want to do pros.
I love college. I would never do pros. I don't want to do pros. I love college. I would never
do pros. I don't believe that.
That's a lie. I don't believe
that. Prime,
listen to me. Stay with me, baby.
You are the very person who had a song
called, must be
the money that's turning
me.
And if they
show you that money
over there in LA, guess where we gonna be at notice
i said we guess where we gonna be at i'm so glad you said that so let me address this one thing at
a time yes must be the money was a testimony i wasn't bragging about the money i was saying must
be the money that's turning y'all on i said diamond rolex gators on my feet i got a pair every day of
the week my hands hat's done,
my fingernails too. Six buttons down. I don't know
what this do. Must be this money.
I was saying y'all changed.
I didn't. It must
be the money. Now, secondly,
I'm straight.
God has provided everything I need, man.
I'm having the time of my life. I love
Boulder, Colorado. I love
the kids that I get to coach. I love the my life. I love Colorado. I love the kids that I get to coach.
I love the recruiting process.
I love it.
So,
and I like the purity of the young men.
Yes.
You know,
I like this,
the,
the sensitivities.
And I like all that.
And the amateurism of it,
even though it's turning to pros because everybody want a bag now,
but I would have a hard time in a locker room
with a guy that's making
a multitude of millions
and he don't want to play.
I don't want to give his all.
I would have a problem with that, Chad.
A real problem with that.
And you know, he had teammates
like, I can't do that.
And I'll be trying to tell Ocho.
Ocho said he ain't never played
with nobody like that.
Yes, he did.
He just didn't want to see it.
Wait, they just played for the money?
Or didn't want to play at all?
They just didn't really want to give it
their all, just wouldn't want to play.
They had a lot of talent, and they
just messed it around.
Well, I messed it
around by doing things off the field,
not on the field. And on the field, just don't want to
do right. Yeah, see, I ain't pay attention
like that, honestly. I ain't going to lie to you.
And I don't want you in L.A.
You can't be in L.A. with me.
First of all, L.A. too expensive for me.
You know how cheap I am.
I'm not getting a house.
I don't like California.
Right.
I don't like it.
I'm trying to get closer to Shannon so he can take you.
I want to sit closer to him.
I don't.
You got that hint?
Have he ever invited you anywhere?
The California?
No, he don't even, he don't even, he don't even text message.
Thank you.
I meet you somewhere.
If you get there, he's going to be evasive.
I'm getting there based on what's in there.
Right, right, right, right.
That's who he is.
You ain't know who he is.
He don't want us there.
First of all, he need to get his butt back in Atlanta. That's what he need to do. No, no, I don't. Oh yeah. he is He don't want us there First of all He need to get his butt
Back in Atlanta
That's what he need to do
No
No I don't need to get
Back in Atlanta
No I don't
No I don't
Well you said
You were taking me
To the place
With the booty juice
Magic food
Magic city
He ain't going there
Sean ain't going there
Second of all
He still got
You still got your house there
Yeah
How you got a house there
You don't invite nobody
And don't even let nobody use it
That's selfish That's why I call him selfish All of't invite nobody and don't even let nobody use it.
That's selfish.
That's why I call him selfish all of that.
He's selfish.
Hey, can I use it for Airbnb?
I talk to Magic.
Magic say, come on in.
What he said?
Magic.
First of all, Magic is a hero,
a national treasure.
Let's get that right.
Magic.
Magic ain't in one of the games.
Still looking good.
Still fly.
Magic is still Magic.
Yep.
You talking about somebody
that should have a movie,
a documentary done? Yeah. Yeah, please.
Magic changed everybody's life.
Yeah.
And just talk game. I mean, magic
just taught you game
and all that, man. I love magic.
Nikki Taylor says,
Coach Prime, please know how much
a blessing you are to genuine black
culture. So proud to each of you.
You are needed.
Thank you, Nicky. We really appreciate that.
That is definitely needed.
That is.
That is.
We talk
about this, more so me and you
Prime than Ocho,
but we talk about
how, I don't know what it
is, is that when we
see one of us start to do
good, we
start, oh, I don't like something
he said, or I don't like something he did,
or he's not
authentic. I'm like, bro,
you do realize they print money.
And although I'm making a
little bit of it, I ain't taking none out your
pocket.
I just don't understand.
That's one of the reasons Gilbert and I,
besides wanting to do great, do things together,
is that we wanted to show people that black people can get together
and elevate one another
and not have to talk about one another.
First of all, I could go on for days
because I'm in the coaching realm
and you have no idea the bulljump we deal with.
The bulljump, they tell the kids about our program.
Oh, my God.
You wouldn't even believe it.
And I'm not talking about, I'm talking about us.
Yeah.
And it baffles me that all we've ever tried to do.
One thing I've never seen Ocho
do is hate on somebody.
I've never seen him treat
anybody unfairly or unjustifiably.
I've never seen you
just, you know, I've seen
you angry a couple times when somebody disrespects you,
Shannon. You're ready to check up. That's
who you are. But I've seen you
go out your way to be kind
and to be nice. And y'all know I get that. I try to be kind and to be nice and y'all know i get that
i try to help everybody and their mama y'all know that from right before these cameras even came i
helped a lot of people in their mama but you know what i'm talking about but go ahead time go ahead
go ahead go ahead but you point time but that's what i'm saying that's what that's why you ain't
no good but i don't understand people that just want to wish ill on another man just because he's successful or he's doing it his way authentically.
You know, like, I don't understand that.
I really don't.
And it's hard for me to fathom on a daily basis even some of the stuff that, you know, my kids receive.
I'm like, y'all got to be kidding me.
I mean, they'll show me some of the text messages or some of the stuff on, you know, my kids receive. I'm like, y'all got to be kidding me. I mean, they'll show me some of the text messages
or some of the stuff on social.
It's unbelievable.
And I think social just gives too many people access to you.
Yeah.
To say anything they want.
And it's, I don't know how somebody wakes up in the morning angry
and just going to tweet something when you put something out positively
and you're going to tweet something when you put something out positively and you're going to tweet something.
Chad was the first one that helped all of us athletes to this.
He was the genesis.
I know nothing about this.
He did that.
He had the NFL on fire. Man, I remember this joke of him.
He used to say, I'm going to the movies.
Anybody come to the movies, you're in free.
And he'll rent out the whole theater.
That's who he is.
And he's never changed.
He takes care and leave enormous tips.
I would never do that.
But he leaves enormous tips.
He write a wonderful note.
Like, that's just who he is.
Chad, I know what you do for people.
Like, I don't understand how somebody could just be nasty, man. and write a wonderful note. That's just who he is. I know what you do for people.
I don't understand how somebody could just be nasty, man.
When you see the blogs or the podcast and they're saying negativity about you,
how does it...
I mean, I know your kids.
I know they want to respond.
But how do you say, you know what?
Let it go.
Man, because I'm 56 and I've
been there and done that.
We've been in the light. How long?
Long. 30. Over 30 years.
Yeah. Don't you
think I had no idea how to light by now?
I've been in there over 30 years,
man. And I'm in the third
quarter of my life. I've been prime time.
I've been prime. Now I'm coach prime.
I'm in the third quarter and I'm winning. I've been prime time. I've been prime. Now I'm coach prime. I'm in the third quarter.
And I'm winning.
I'm up.
I'm up.
Oh, man, I'm high-stabbing.
I got the hand-to-hand right now.
So you think I'm going to do anything to let
them catch up? No. I can't fathom
that. And my kids are
watching me. Forget America. My kids
are watching me. My kids are watching how daddy responds to adversity. And they kids are watching me. Forget America. My kids are watching me. My kids are watching
how daddy responds to adversity.
And they watch me every day.
I get to go to work with my kids
every day. And that's going to be the best year of my life
because this is the last year I get to coach my boys.
So that's
going to be a phenomenal year. Have you thought about
what it's going to be like? Because there's
haven't been a situation in which you haven't
coached him.
Shador went away to South Carolina for a year,
but Shador went away.
Shador, you've coached Shador every step of the way.
Yeah.
He's the only coach you've ever, he's, you've ever, he's ever known.
First time this year,
our last game was the first game ever that I was present and he didn't play.
First game he missed since Pee Wee Lee that I was present and he didn't play. First game he missed since Pee Wee League, that I was there.
Now, I was in the hospital for four games in Jackson that he played,
but I had never played with him.
So that's, you know, that's tremendous.
Baby girl playing basketball, you know, so I love it, man.
I love it.
DeAndre's in Atlanta, comes out all the time.
Bucky's running your social media.
Bucky done killed it. You turned this thing into a family affair.
It's a family affair.
I have a question.
We can make it an even bigger family affair.
Now, we can make this a package deal.
I can talk to...
Here we go.
Listen, I can talk to Baby Girl about coming on down to Colorado.
If you give me a coaching job and we can make it a package deal.
I will make you.
I'm not going to give you a coaching, coaching job.
I'll give you a coaching job.
Not a coaching, coaching.
Because I know you ain't going to do right.
What that mean?
Am I getting money, money, or am I getting money?
You getting, no, you getting more, more.
Who?
It ain't money, you more.
Wait, wait.
I need the N-E-Y ain't on there? You ain't getting no N-E-Y wait. I need the N-E-Y ain't on there?
You ain't getting no N-E-Y.
You ain't getting N-E-Y yet.
Because I don't trust you yet.
Because I know you ain't going to do right.
Well, listen.
You going to be a heck of a coach.
Now, I trust your skills and your knowledge.
Right.
And what you going to spit to the kid.
I trust that.
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Spit to the kid.
I'm going to have on my cleats.
I lead by example by actually doing.
Now, you right.
You right. I do reconcile that you will do my cleats. I lead by example by actually doing. You're right.
I do reconcile that you will do that.
Oh, yeah.
When it comes to my pay, I need the N.E.Y. on the end of my money. I don't want no more.
See, that's where we're going to have the problem.
Yeah, see?
I can't do that.
We're going to go back to the drawing board.
We'll talk about this later.
You don't want to build to that? Like, if you build to it,
you can't just come in and get it.
Shit.
Who can't?
Kev Lawson said,
we need Coach Fry at least once a month.
This has been amazing.
He was very fortunate
because he reached out to me and said,
man, what are y'all on again?
I said, we on Saturday night.
I called you. He didn't call me
because you're nasty.
He did call me.
He hit me up and said, hey, man, where y'all on again?
I said, we on Saturday night. We don't have too much fun without me.
I don't like that. I got mad. He said, I'm coming.
I said, hold on. How you think you gonna come on that show?
He said, I'm coming on.
When I'm coming on.
It's way past my bedtime.
It's past my bedtime, too. That's why I'm coming on. When I'm coming on. It's way past my bedtime. It is.
It's past my bedtime, too.
That's why I'm in the room.
Listen, it's past my bedtime, too, but I've been enjoying this so much.
You know what I do?
I've been doing it.
I take a nap during the day.
I take a nap during the day just so I can stay up, and I still get up at 5 a.m. every time.
That's it.
During the season, I get up at 425 every morning during the season.
Now I get to sleep in a little more.
By the way, I ain't saying nothing about us.
You know we're recruiting our butts off right now, right?
I know you are.
Wait, we who?
What?
Recruiting our butts off right now.
We dugging with the thing right now.
That is why you should have me on your team when it comes to the recruiting process.
You got the selling point right here.
Who else?
Put me inside somebody mama house
And let me do the talking
You already know what's going to happen
I'll sell water to a whale
What?
I believe you
Come on now
What you doing?
What you doing?
Now what you want to do?
We can start next week
I consider
Yeah
Receiver court is ridiculous
The receivers
Oh they nice
No no no no
Oh they nice
You guys we just signed.
Oh, wait. Some more boys?
Hey. Oh, we've been
showing that. Oh, man.
Prime, you got a job for me?
Mm-mm. No.
You ain't coming nowhere around. You or your dogs?
No.
Because I know you ain't going to do right.
I know you ain't going to do right. And you're selfish.
All right. Bo, what's up, Bo?
Shout out to my brother, Bo.
Shout out to my brother, Bo, man.
Watch it, man.
Brian, you remember Bo?
You met Bo before, Brian.
You probably don't remember.
I don't remember.
Yeah, you met him before.
Bo, what's up, baby?
I love you.
They're asking in the chat, Coach.
They're asking,
are you expected to lower Travis Hunter's overall snap counts
on both sides of the ball?
Man, Travis will cuss me and you out if I try to take him out of the game.
You got to understand, some dogs got to hunt.
That's just who he is.
Like, he has to hunt.
The thing about it, you just got to get more depth,
which we went and got just in case.
I say, Travis, you know what?
Take a breathe on defense because we got dogs as well.
And we didn't have that.
We didn't have the depth.
Or take a breather on offense.
Man, we got so many dumb receivers right now,
and they all have a pro grade.
They all can ball, man.
Jay, you would love to get down with them.
And they real ones too, man.
Like, they love the game.
They talk.
They talk.
And I let them be unapologetically them.
I want them to be who they are.
We got talkers out there? Oh, we got some
talkers, too. Okay, that's where I need to be.
That's where I need to be. See, that
alone should tell you
why you need to hire me.
That alone right there.
But I know you ain't going to do right. I promise them to do
right. I got structure and discipline.
Now? I got something that can't be
taught.
There's a certain it factor that I was born with.
You do have that.
Yeah, I can pass it off to them young fellas.
You do have that.
Shannon, what'd you think?
No.
Don't lie.
Why you hate?
Thank you, Shannon.
All right, see?
See what I'm talking about?
See, Shannon ain't going to lie to me.
See?
He won't bring me on first take.
Now he's saying, I don't need to go work for you.
Y'all trying to keep a brother down.
First of all, you work with me.
I'll keep you down when I elevate you.
We got a show called Uncle Nocho.
Right.
Listen, I could do Uncle Nocho from Colorado.
You know we went to the Hall of Fame together, right?
So we got an unbelievable bond.
You do know that, right?
Yeah, we can't lie to each other.
We can't lie to each other.
I'm in the Hall of Fame, too.
I put on my own goddamn jacket.
No, you did.
Yeah.
My jacket 101.
Your jacket, everybody got them.
That's a lie.
That's a lie, then.
That's a lie.
Wait, wait, wait wait Let me take that back
Everybody that's in
Got one of them
Yeah
I got
Hey listen
I got a bust too
My bust 14 carry gold
You wanna see it?
Mm-mm
Okay
I'm just letting you know
You be hardening stuff
Around your bust
Your bust
Yeah yeah exactly
Hey come on
Come on
Your bust
Your bust probably Got his nose crunched up.
Don't worry about it.
Don't worry about it.
Don't worry about it.
I love y'all, man.
That's all that matter.
That's what it's about, man.
It's about freedom.
You know, life is short.
Life is short.
I can't do it.
That one there, draw the line.
You shouldn't have any restrictions while you're living.
I draw the line.
Draw the line.
Huh?
Draw the line. We not in kindergarten no more. We don I draw the line. Draw the line. Huh? Draw the line. We not
in kindergarten no more. We don't draw the line.
I don't even like to use the same bathroom.
Like, I gotta have two toilets. Like, I don't
even, like, you got yours, I got mine. Oh, hell
no. Thank you. You got yours, I got mine.
God damn. You got yours,
I got mine. Who living like

I want you on that side
getting ready.
See, it's a little different for me.
I do all the maintenance.
I do her upkeep.
I do her makeup,
her lashes, her brows,
you know, her lipstick,
her foundation.
I apply all that.
So I need you right next to me
because you're not walking
out of that house
without me making sure
you're on point
because you are a representation
of me once you leave
out that door. Okay, so it's really about you.
No, it ain't about me. No, the way it sounded is about you.
Everything I just said is how I save my money now. Stay with me. Stay with me.
I don't save my money. She don't have to go nowhere to get her hair done. She ain't got to go nowhere
to get her lashes or eyebrows or get her makeup done. I do everything.
I do do all that. Ask her. Is she in her makeup done. I do everything. I do do all that. Ask her.
Is she in the chat still?
I do everything.
I don't believe all that,
but I do believe
you probably do the waxing.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
I know you do the waxing.
I know you do the waxing.
Listen,
Prime,

I can't do that
because you don't look.
I ain't seen one of your draws in a long time. You're going for my five. Oh, yeah, that's it. I like when you pack. I like your packing stuff. I can't do that because you don't look. I ain't seen one of your draws
in a long time.
You're going for my five.
Oh, yeah, that's it.
That's all you need.

He just said, hey, okay, that's it.
I got to go to work.
You have no idea how he treats me.
You have no idea, Chad.
You have no idea, man.
Listen, he treat me bad.
He just told me no when you asked for a reference
to come to Colorado.
I'm still afraid.
I'll do no recommendations.
See what I mean?
He ain't lying about that now.
He ain't lying about that.
He definitely recommend nobody to nothing.
Ocho, you know what this is, Ocho?
It looks like some Jordans.
They burgundy.
Burgundy and orange.
That's the ugly colorway.
That's not burgundy, though.
That's red?
It's burgundy on my end.
No, that's red. You got to do something with your camera and your TV.
No, your eyes.
You probably still got a flow model.
He got that.
He got a flow model.
He got that Farris Whitaker eye going on
on that left one.
I only got one good eye as it is.

You noticed that?
Yeah, you got that Farris Whitaker.
