I'm Simone Boyce, host of the Brightside podcast, and on this week's episode, I'm talking to
Olympian, World Cup Champion, and podcast host Ashlyn Harris.
My worth is not wrapped up in how many things I've won, because what I came to realize
is I valued winning so much that once it was over, I got the blues, and I was like,
This is it.
For me, it's the pursuit of greatness.
It's the journey.
It's the people.
It's the failures.
It's the heartache.
Listen to the bright side on the IHeartRadio app,

Tune in to All the Smoke Podcast,

beyond race all the smoke featuring michelle obama to hear this podcast and more open your
free iHeart radio app search all the smoke and listen now the buccaneers weighed damman watson
the former gator rookie listed at 449 pounds with the bucks he weighed 464 at the school's pro day and
lost 25 to 30 pounds before the draft, but he didn't get a chance to practice with the team
because he didn't lose enough weight.
He spent training camp on the non-football injury list.
Are the bucks giving up with Big Dez too soon, don't you?
You know, I don't know what's going on with that situation on, but obviously you drafted
a player in hopes that he can contribute to your offense.
I thought he would contribute to the offense.
I would have loved to see Big Dez Watson sitting there next to Vita Vaya and that goddamn
and that goddamn A-gap, you know, I'm just being honest, you know,
being stuff in the run game, being able to help that defense.
Obviously, I'm not sure what happened.
Why would you draft a player like that?
And then think he's going to lose the amount of weight that you want him to lose
and such a short amount of time that will have them,
especially coming in training camp.
I would like for him to allow him to play and see how we play
at the size he's at now.
but I think also the NFL
and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
also were protecting themselves
but he played at that size at Florida
he played at that size at Florida
so I understand what you guys are trying to do
for safety reasons
but it's how he played in Florida
so why draft him if you're not going to allow him
to play the game of football
and why not let him finish out his childhood
dream why even put it
why didn't put him through the ringer like that
it confusing to me
I'm hoping I'm hoping they're bringing back
that the chance they might bring them back
I don't know I don't know I don't know how that works
but bringing him back allowing him to continue
to try to find ways to lose weight
and hopefully I'm hoping
he's a big fellow on he's always been big
he's played a very long time
so why you get to the NFL and you know what you got
before you got it and then you get him there
and then you want to you know like
he can't lose no weight doing what he's doing yeah they got the man walking the field
yeah that's not gonna do nothing uh they got the man moving the dummies and stuff like that
he might need to get on that serena get that uh that roe serena who huh that that that hey he might
have to take the shot ocho but then you take it then you take away from what his power he's
he's ohcho he's six foot five yeah big boy that is a big ocho I'm
don't care he's not going he only going to get so small through diet and exercise he's
I mean six five how small he's not going to be you not going to get him to 350 because if
you get him to 350 he can't play football because you you take it all the strength
if he's hold on if he's how much be the veil way uh be the van probably 350 so he what he's
365 doesn't watch him what 365
450 oh shit yes he was 500 when he got to florida they got to what get got him down he was
464 at his pro day he's 449 right now damn oh so he's 450 pounds oh okay you only
gonna lose so much weight can he get the 350 though at six five you get 350 no yeah but
he don't want the way that he would have to get the
He don't want either one of them.
What, Ozympic, or you can't do that, huh?
Is that illegal?
That's not illegal.
That's not legal for NFL players is.
I mean, take Ozimic and then hit the weight room and turn the fat, turn the fat into muscle.
Is that possible?
Exempt, Exempt it eats your muscle.
That's why they look like that.
God, man, I don't like that, man.
That's what, and it doesn't, and it's not coming back.
once you strip that muscle you use that those drugs ozempic right what do they
call what do they call them what is a Zempic majoro uh transepatide there are
there a there I guess that's the name but that muscle is not coming back once you
strip that muscle away it ain't coming man that that bothers me though on that that
bothers me like I'm like almost almost the tears like this is my brother's up you
know like how you yeah because I seem so happy
We had him on Ocho.
He seemed so happy like, man, I'll do whatever it takes, you know, whatever they want me to get down to.
Ocho, he only going to get down so small.
He's six foot five.
He is not, I can see Ocho, if he was six foot 450.
He's a ginormous man.
Yeah.
I don't get it.
Why did you draft him?
What did you think was going to happen?
A goddamn miracle.
A miracle.
And that short amount of time from April to drafting him now before the season, how much?
much weight did you expect him to lose in such a short amount of time, especially if you're not
allow them to play. If you're on the field practicing, you're going to lose weight running and
doing some of the things that include football activities. I mean, man, I hope they bring him back.
I hope they bring him back and put him on some type of program to continue helping him lose weight
to where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers see fit to allow him to get on the field.
and be contributing help.
It's just, I don't know, like I said, I don't know.
That'll be something that his team doctor or the NFL medical staff,
whether or not you can take those type of drugs,
those Zempics, the Magyrono, the Trazepatide,
something of that nature.
I don't know if you can or can't.
But look at the people that's on those drugs.
Look at the women and look at the men.
And look at their muscular trait.
Look at their muscle tone.
if you don't think it strips the muscle go look and see yeah and once you strip that muscle
too on it ain't no way to build that back up huh no look look at people that's on those drugs you
can tell you can tell there is no um there is no texture to the muscle it's kind of like oh choate you
know as we age a lot of people as you age you lose not only do you lose elasticity but you
lose that texture right it's like sometimes like when people like eat veek when they become
vegan a vegetarian that that animal protein is what gives you that yeah you take those shots
look at people look at those celebrities or look at the women look at the men that take those shots
and you tell me do you believe an NFL player can take those shots and be competitive on the football field
It curbs your appetite.
Okay, if it curves your appetite, you're not hungry.
How do you build muscle?
How do you build muscle if you have no appetite?
Go ask the bodybuilders, how do you grow?
People talk about an elephant.
He only eats grass.
Yeah, but he eats 300 pounds of it.
elephant i mean a whale it eats so much creole yes yeah i don't i get it so if you're not eating
i want you guys in the chat to tell me how do you build muscle if you're not eating if you have
no appetite and if you force yourself to eat it makes you nauseous if you overeat it makes you nauseous
he's a big man he's a giant the law uh i think gipson might have been the largest guy the
offensive lineman that played at uh detroit he might have been the largest man that i've ever
seen in the nfell i think he's like 380 so he's 70 pounds heavier than the heaviest guy
that's ever played in the nf a giver brown he would gibble wasn't big as uh gipson what's
he's from University of Wisconsin.
They got me
sounded like a Wisconsinite, Wisconsin.
How big was Gibson?
Hell he big of the fridge.
100 pounds bigger than fridge.
Man, the fridge was big too, boy.
Yes.
Aaron Gibson was 375.
So he's 75 pounds heavier
than the heaviest man
that's ever played in the NFL.
Okay.
now it's it's it's yes and Gibson was six six so he's an inch shorter but almost 80 pounds heavier
hey they got they got to be a weight they got to be weight technology is but but here's the thing
ocho what is the weight that you can get him down to oh i don't know man ohcho you do realize
man 400 less they sumo wrestlers sumo wrestlers sumo wrestlers
Connor, Hanna, Ake, Bono.
But what do they do with, Ocho?
They three, four seconds, and it's over.
Well, hell, shoot, de-tackle, three, four seconds, a play, and it's over.
How many plays are you going to be able to give you, though?
No, that's, that sucks.
That sucks.
Yes.
You knew, you knew, you knew, you knew.
You knew it was a project.
Similar to Anthony Richardson's situation with the Colts.
I agree, oh, Joe.
I agree.
You understood what you were getting from him at Florida.
You watched film.
You gave him a chance.
You gave him in.
You brought him in.
You gave him an opportunity.
But you're giving up on the project too soon.
I trust that Buccaneers organization is going to bring him back and do right by Young Bull.
I guarantee you, I can feel it.
I can feel it.
right by him they're going to bring you back for all you people um i just google uh yes ozimic
simaglutide can lead to muscle loss as a side effect of significant weight loss so all you
chaninan calm down because everybody thinks they're a doctor see the thing is with me
ocho before i really talk about stuff i like to right right right you know what i'm a glutide
the majorno to try zeppotide you know your stuff now oh cho in order for you to lose what
that's the thing bodybuilders what do they do they get really yeah i do i do and then they strip it down
but they have to lose some muscle that's why you try to add as much muscle as you possibly can
so when you strip it down there's still enough there and people can see it yeah but y'all want to be
so right shannon you don't know no no i don't
know everything but what I talk about I like to research about to have a
get a general understanding I've talked to a lot of people about these drugs
and the side effects of these drugs to ask a man that's been he's like I've been
big all my life oh Joe he probably was he probably was a 10 11 12 pound 13 pound
baby damn so with that being said you're asking me okay he was at one point in time
he was 500 pounds 500 let's just say for the sake of argument you get him all the way down to
three okay now we talking but you've taken away what he what made him who he was that
strength damn man some some got to give some got to give and I hope I was I was
I was sad too and I normally I try to stay I try to stay out of my emotions when it
come to guys and try not to get attached but I like yeah I mean I can see I could see when
he we had him on Ocho he was so excited he was so excited man I go I'm gonna get an opportunity
to live out my dream to play in the NFL I say well so what what did they told they say
they hadn't told me a wait but I do whatever they asked me to do and I believe he did
but at some point time ohcho when you that size you have to eat a certain amount of food
just to be able to function yeah yeah yeah he got to breathe he got to get up he got to be
alert so you have to eat a certain amount of calories damn man theoretically you're
supposed to be able to eat 10 10 uh what is it 10 calories per body power
and be functioning.
And so me, I can eat 2,500 calories.
And if I don't do a whole lot,
that's, I can function.
Now, just think if I were to do cardio,
I do 30 minutes, I do our, hour cardio.
I'm going to have to increase that,
or I'm going to lose weight.
So if he could eat 10 calves per body pound, Ocho,
he can eat on 4,000 calories.
Do you know what 4,000 calories due to the average man?
First of all, if you eat in nutrition,
you couldn't eat now.
You'd have to eat around the clock.
Now, see, I'm not, I'm not telling what somebody told you.
You're talking to somebody that's actually eating around the clock that said his alarm that when I go to bed in two and a half hours, I'm going to wake my black ass up and go in the kitchen and eat.
And guess what, Ocho?
After I eat, I'm going to go back to bed.
And I'm going to sit it again for another two and a half to three hours and get my black ass up again and go.
Okay.
We on the same, we on the same type of regimen.
You eat that much to eat that amount of, see, now if you eat burgers and you eat and fry food like that, it ain't nothing to get no kind of you get to get to.
get 3,000, 4,000 calories.
But when you eating chicken, turkey,
ground beef, lean cuts,
you're getting broccoli, you're getting carrots,
you're getting rice,
it is a beef to eat that amount of food.
I'm not telling you what somebody told me.
I'm telling you what I know.
I'm talking about from first-hand experience.
When Ocho and I talk to you about football-related stuff,
we're not talking second-hand stuff.
We're not talking about what somebody told us.
We're talking about what we tell you,
what we know, what we lived.
So now I know everybody, everybody on the internet now, they were a coach,
they're a general manager, they're a professional athlete,
they were a lawyer, they were a banker, they were something.
Whatever you were, that's what you were.
But I'm telling you what this medicine and the people that I've talked to,
and I know people that have taken it, and their bodies are not the same.
Now you're asking a man that's 450 pounds.
I feel bad.
And I don't normally feel bad because Ocho is not, it's,
and I hate using the term fair,
because everybody dream is not going to come.
The gift that they want to give to themselves
is not going to become a reality.
It's not going to come to probation.
but it was something about him that made me like,
damn, I sure hope this kid can get his weight down.
I was thinking if he got it down under 4.30,
but also, do you understand, like,
it doesn't take much to lose,
I mean, because a lot of it's waterways.
Once you get past that initial water bait,
and probably he got like 30,
because that's why I was easy for him to go to 500 to 4,
I think he played 470,
then he weighs.
to combine it for his pro day at 464 and now he's 449 now you got to get to the nuts and
bolts of him that's a b that's a damn man i mean you would literally i mean you literally have to starve
him you literally have to starve him mocho and he couldn't play couldn't i'm optimistic
I think they're going to bring it back on
I'm not
I'm not saying they won't
normally I like to see guys get to
at least the last cut
because they're more after bringing
you know I'm saying Ocho and he made it to
the last cut but the thing is Ocho
he didn't he didn't play in any games
but
and this is why I agree with you
it's like bro you know he was a project
you know he was huge
what made you think you're going to be how much
what you thought
you're going to be normally when people lose a hundred pounds it takes them a year or 50
pounds or 75 pounds it takes them a year not no damn six weeks yeah I mean you lose you lose
you lose a 50 60 70 pounds six week you either on crack or you got AIDS I'm sorry but I'm
not trying to be funny guys but I'm just saying to lose that kind of weight in that amount
of time there's something seriously wrong and there's nothing wrong with him he's just a big
man. Other than that, there's nothing wrong with him. Cho, he's a big man. And we understand the
risk of somebody his size in the sun in Tampa. We understand that. Oh, Joe. It's hot,
boy. Yes. And I'm glad now because back when you and I was going up, they had their ass out there
running gases and suicide. Oh, they're going to get that weight up off of him. They're going to get it up off of them.
they're going to get it up off of them but now obviously the NFL protecting themselves
after being sued a few times the Tampa being buccaneers obviously protecting themselves
as well as as well not wanting any issue no you don't want that you don't want that
no Joe but I just don't I just don't know in the amount of time that they gave him how much weight
did they think he was going to lose that's that's that's my that's my only thing I appreciate
them giving him the opportunity but how much
weight a man his size and let's say they went to camp in the middle of july and here we are
damn there at the end of august so let's just say five weeks how much weight did you he lost 15 pounds
i think that's good mm-hmm it is hell normally it's say if you can lose a pound what is a pound a
week jordan i think you lose a pound a week that's great he lost three pounds a week he'd be back
yeah he'd be back but but also he has to eat so much to just deliver
Yeah.
You got to buy.
He has to drink a certain amount of water just to live.
He's not, he's not a normal man.
He's not a normal man that's walking around 200 pounds, 185 pounds, whatever you, whatever
the size of a normal man is, he's twice the size of an average man.
You got to find a happy medium.
You got to.
Yes, but how, but, but, but that, okay, what's the medium?
Oh, I don't know.
So, because in order to get the weight off, you got to.
to do a certain a certain level of exercise you got to do a certain level of weight training
and you have to eat obviously you have to be on a caloric deficit so if it's 10 calories per
body pounds theoretically he can eat 4600 pounds well obviously you got to keep him way up under
that but you've got to gradually back him down you can't say okay you can't eat but 3 000 calories
and i think you'll be able to do it you'll be able to do it because he wants his bad he wants
Well, you're going to have to give, you're going to have to give him a year, which is
I like the, which is why I like the, but I like the fact if he's there, because remember
Ocho, they used to suspend, suspend players, and they wouldn't let you come to the facility.
They wouldn't let you be around the players.
But what they found out, that drove him further and further away.
Now you force them into even worse habits.
If they had a habit, they're not, can't be around their teammates.
Now they do more destructive.
things. So in order for them to get him in the kind of shape that they want, they feel that
he can help them, they would literally need to have him around or and says, okay, or send him to
the Duke Medical Clinic. I think they have a weight loss center up there. Send him somewhere and
says, okay, son, we're going to give you a year. You need to get to X number. I don't, whatever number
is, but I'm saying that's the only way, don't know, Joe. Nothing is going to happen.
And I hope this, I hope this doesn't discourage him either.
I hope he sees this, you know, and some of the, some of the stuff that we've been, we've been saying tonight.
And I'd please, brother Desmond, don't allow this to discourage you, but only make you stronger.
Give you a little bit motivation.
Give you a little bit motivation, you know.
Damn, man.
That's crazy.
Yeah.
He's a big, Aljo, he's a big man.
Big man.
I mean, I mean, I'm, I used to could eat, Ocho.
I used to eat a lot.
I can't eat like I used to.
No.
But I'm also damn near 60.
He's 23, 24.
Do you know how much you could eat when you were in your 20?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Man, I take that a whole buffet.
You don't come here no more.
And now, you say buffet, you say $20.
I can eat as much as I want.
you eat up all the people
too.
It's so, man.
That's tough.
Come on, Dad, you can do it, bro.
You can do it.
How bad do you want to be on an NFL team?
How bad do you want to put that uniform on
and go out there on that field and make a tackle?
I don't care, Des.
I would love for you to have a long career.
But if you can just put that uniform on one time
and go out there and have them call your name
because you made a tackle.
Come on, Dan.
Nightcap, we're rooting for you.
Absolutely.
I'm Dan.
He's Ty.

Check out Behind the Flow, a podcast documentary series
following the launch of San Diego Football Club.
We go behind the scenes and explore the stories of those involved.
San Diego coming to MLS is going to be a game changer
because this region has been hungry for a men's professional soccer team.
We need veteran players and we need young players.
Like you're building a team from scratch.
And so the succession plan of long-term success needs to be defined.
We need to embrace this community.
When I was 13, my uncle took me to a qualifier.
And we watched Ottawa against Chile, pouring rain, just watching the fans jumping up and down.
I think that was definitely a watershed moment for me.
Not only was that going to be my game, but it was going to be my life.

Get fired up, y'all.

Presented by Capital One, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports. Amari Cooper is returning
to the Raiders Ocho on a one-year deal. Cooper 31 returns to the organization that drafted him
with the fourth overall pick in 2015. He's signing a one-year deal, $3.5 million. The contract carries a
$6 million value with $500,000 per game roster bonus and $2 million available in
incentives.
The new Cooper signing comes just hours after Jacobi Myers requested a trade out of
out of Las Vegas after two sides were unable to negotiate a new contract.
Oh, Joe, you like who going back to the radio?
Absolutely.
You got to understand the connection that's down there, that Florida connection that's
down there in Las Vegas right now.
You got Gino Smith, Miramar Patriot quarterback.
You got Amari Cooper, superstar, legendary day county, Miami Northwestern
with Teddy Bridgewater went on.
Teddy Bridgewater.
I mean, listen, legendary virus from Miami Northwestern.
That Florida connection, they're going to work magic.
Obviously, you have Brock Bowers who's going to probably get the bulk of the...
I think he would, IMG, didn't he?
Who, Brock Bowers?
Yeah.
He did?
I think he did.
Isn't he from Florida?
Yeah.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I know one thing,
Gino going to get that ball
and got that cool.
He's from Cali,
Napal.
Oh.
He from Cali.
Okay, you heard me?
I say Gino Smith
going to get cooped that goddamn ball.
I know that.
Well, hell,
if Jacobi Myers is unhappy,
that play,
he ain't got no choice.
It's either Cooper,
Brock Bowler.
Yeah,
but I think,
you know,
I understand
Jacobi's frustration.
Frustration.
I totally,
I totally get it.
But the way you value yourself,
the way you see
and value yourself
the teams don't see you like that
because you see as soon as
the headlines hit
about you want to trade
you see how fast they made that call
you see how fast they made that call
oh that's what you want to do
okay bet
hold my big
they already
they already got about four or five receivers
line up because they say okay
in case just go sideways
yeah
yeah and they bring it in a good one now
they've been coop ain't no goddamn slouch
Amari cooper was at one time
one of the better rock runners in the NFL
I'm talking about top five
I ain't talking about no slouch
I'm talking about up there with Devanti
up there with Devante Adams
with the Hunter Winters
Oh yeah
Up there I'm what
Well he could put him up and put him down like no other now
man man I can't even believe man
dude been in the league for like 11 years
Oh Chuck
Yeah
Coop
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
A good 11, too.
I don't know why Jerry let him go.
Jerry were tripping.
Um, I like this deal.
I like this deal for Coup.
I'm surprised that he was available this long.
Maybe the asking price was a little higher than what teams wanted to play.
Plus, Ocho, you know, you get 30, man.
they'd be looking at you funny i don't care what type of numbers you put up because i remember them
having the same conversation about devonte adams man he don't slow man just had a hundred damn
catches but you know he ain't breaking away like he once did bro stop it 30 is not 30 is you're not
over the heel but they've convinced they've convinced they have convinced themselves they
convinced their fan base that if once a guy reaches 30 unless he's a quarterback his best years
are behind him.
Only the quarterback will they say his best years are in front of him once he
reaches the age of 30.
Everybody else?
Yeah, that's how they do you, aren't?
That's how they do you.
That is how they do you.
It's going to be some nice magic over there in Vegas, though, but I can see it now.
Touchdown, Gino Smith to Amari Cooper.
for 72 yards.
Oh, yeah.
Old Day County Connection.
Texas running back, Joe Mixon won't be activated
from non-football injury list by Tuesday's deadline,
making him ineligible to play at least the first four weeks of the season,
Ocho, due to an ankle injury.
Mixing, who had an ankle injury,
will be moved to the reserve non-football injury list.
Did he hurt the ankle in practice?
or this was something coming off of the offseason?
Yeah, that's a good question.
Did he have surgery?
Did he have surgery or no?
Or just he got hurt early in camp?
Must be got hurt in camp.
Well, hey, listen, you know they got Brother Chub over there too now.
They got Brother Chubb over there too now.
They're not going to miss a beat at their position.
They're not going to miss a beat at that position depending on how much better Nick Chubb is feeling after reconstructive surgery of that knee.
you're going to tote that thing
damn
he said he hasn't practiced during training camp
but he's been battling this off season
why didn't he have surgery was it not
was it still from that hip drop tackle
because remember he got hip drop tackle last year
I don't know I don't know if it's from that
but chub Nicky chub
let's go boy
got to carry a load
I hear, I mean, I hear some, some reports say he doesn't look the same.
He ain't cutting.
He's not, the burst is not there.
Then others says he looks fine, so I don't know what to say.
Hey.
Without us being there, Ocho, to see it for our own eyes, it's hard to know what's real and what's not.
Unless you get, unless you're able to see it.
Because every, they report any goddamn thing.
Yeah, I definitely, I definitely would, I definitely need to see for myself to get up like, okay.
Well, three-year-go chub, he'd have got through that,
he'd have got through that crack.
I mean, obviously, you're going to have somewhere in terror.
I mean, you're running back.
Yeah, absolutely.
I mean, maybe one of the best thing to happen to Sequin is that he got injured that year.
He was able not to have 300 hits on his damn body.
Today, Dak told reporters that the team's offense will provide some fireworks,
and they've been saving their best stuff for the regular season.
An exciting offense, we've kept it vanilla for a reason,
excited about getting out there and putting it all on display next Thursday.
Ocho, are you expecting fireworks from the Cowboys offense?
I told you that.
That's the only exciting thing to watch.
That is the only exciting thing to watch come, what, nine days from now,
eight, seven days from now, whatever it may be.
I'm turning in to see the Dallas Cowboys offense,
mainly George Pickens
they're going to put up numbers
that's going to put up numbers
he's going to put up numbers through the air
that's not the problem
that's never been the problem
the problem is on the other side of the ball
that's the problem
and not only that
you ain't got your best player
on your team
don't you want to pay him
but if there's anything
as a cowboy fan
I know I have some of y'all in the chat
if you're a football fan in general,
even if you're not a fan of the Cowboys,
here, you're going to be tuned in Thursday night?
I want to see C.D. Lam and George Pick can go crazy, you know?
And then A.J. Brown and Devonthe Smith
on the other side of the ball go crazy.
We already know what Seekwon going to do.
The goddamn, the goddamn Cowboys
ain't got no defense. He might go for
goddamn $200.
Especially if sticks ain't playing.
If sticks ain't playing, ain't no teller Seekwon
might have $300 to open the season.
Well, who's going to go out of that?
who's going to guard them receivers?
Because I don't know, is Digg going to be able to start the season?
That's a good question.
I'm not sure.
I'm not sure.
Damn, I'm not sure.
Because that offensive line, good luck.
Hey.
Hey.
Dickerson, look, we don't know the extent of Dickinson.
He said he was going to try, Landon, was going to try to get back.
We don't know if he's going to make it all the way back.
But boy, them tackles, my lot of Elaine Johnson.
It ain't to be F with.
You better be on your best behavior.
It's going to take heaven and hell.
Hey, boy, hey,
Lane, come out there.
He comes in that thing.
Hey, it's going to take heaven.
He's down on it.
Trying to get Ryan and boys.
Oh, yeah.
My lot of what, 6, 8, 340?
Stupid.
Lane Johnson is angular.
He's not a whole lot of bricks in his back pocket.
But boy, would that joke a kick out there
and he locked down on it?
and don't listen don't let him get hands on you first
oh yeah
a Trayvon dig doesn't feel
he has any limitations after training on his own
pushing for week one return
he did pass his physical
so hopefully they gave him 500 bands back
give it
man we talk about Jerry man
he don't care
but I'm hey listen that game is going to be exciting
I'm just like thinking about
Oh, it's going to do a crazy number.
It's going to do, I can see that game doing 30, 30, 35.
I mean, we talk about, number.
I'm talking about, I'm talking about the players.
Keon Mitchell, C.D. Lamb, Cooper de John, George Pickens.
I mean, oh, man, it's going to be fireworks.
It definitely will be fire.
And I like the words that Dak had used, you know.
The firework is going to be, you know, offensively.
I don't know if they're going to win the game.
Boy, look here, quarterbacks don't be saying nothing.
How many times we don't heard Dax say this about this offense?
Well, the office, they always put a number of that.
Yeah, for the other team, them pick sixes.
We go see.
I see better than here.
We're going to see because the Eagles ain't no slides.
And I don't think Fangio, I don't think Fangio going to let that defense have a hangover,
talk about what they did to the Super Bowl and all that other stuff because that ain't got
nothing to do.
That's not what we did in the Super Bowl.
Ain't going to help us win opening night.
And then guess what, Ocho?
we went over the night, we got 10 days
before we play another game.
Hey, I see you boys.
Hey, you know what?
Yeah, y'all take three days old.
I see you guys on, I'll see you guys on Monday.
Friday night, Saturday, night, Sunday.
I'll see your money.
Yeah, I like it.
I see your money get your run in.
Hey, off Tuesday, back at this thing.
Hold on, hold on.
Where they plan at?
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
Ooh, that's going to be rough.
yeah that's going to be rough it's a robbery game and it's a division game the start of the season
off football is back baby back welcome back welcome back that's welcome back carter you don't
remember that before you about welcome back carter come on now Georgia Tech DB Clayton
Paul Lee has some interesting comments about coach prime coach prime's team let's take a listen
Everybody says it's a different experience, but I've experienced some crazy stadiums since being here.
So just knowing that, not trying to over-hype it, honestly.
Like, it's another game.
I know they bring out celebrities.
They do all this crazy stuff, but we're playing football.
Then none of them playing, they can hype people all they don't want to, but you want to feel not them.
Exactly, like, come on.
So, yeah, just playing fast, like, not dwelling on.
that type of stuff.
Like, that's all I can say.
I like it.
I like it.
So now you talking like that.
I'm tuned in.
Because I'm trying to see what you are.
I'm trying to see what type of time you on.
If you really like that, young bull, you feel me?
I like, I like that.
I like the bravado, you know?
Oh, they have all type of celebrities and they've got the whole hype train.
But the people that's on the sideline ain't out there on the field.
really can't do nothing they can't help you i like it he talked i guess what we're gonna be live
friday night yeah after the game ah i can't i can't i can't so guess what come in and get your
first get your first actions of what happened in the game oh't you're not going to break it down and
tell you what happened why it happened how it happened and when give me that's what i need a little bit
my homework on buddy man what number is he he played db for for georgia tech right
What number C?
Oh, no, number five.
Oh, he wearing a single digit, too?
Okay, he, hey, he probably, he must be like that.
He better be.
Single digit number, you're supposed to be that boy, dog.
Any single digit number, you're supposed to be that boy, dog.
You got to be him.
So, hold on, huh?
Travis Hunter's going now.
Now, there's a receiver that's making a lot of noise
and a lot of waves over there.
Colorado right now.
They say they got another with Travis Hunt over there.
Hey, so I'm eight five.
A five.
I'm going to call you by your name when I see you play.
Five, I'm watching.
I'm trying to see what you on.
What type of time you're on?
He said, I'm on that.
It ain't match your mouth.
You know, I wish you nothing but the best.
I wish you luck, twin.
Yeah.
Boy, we're talking spicy, huh?
Oh, man, I missed that.
I missed those days.
Oh, man.
Oh, man.
But I think for me, Ocho, I miss college more than I missed the pros because of the intimacy of it.
Because the, like, the fans are like right there on you.
You know, those small black HBCU, they write their own you.
And, you know, they're talking reckless.
The fans talking reckless.
Like, boy, nothing to day sharp.
I'm leaving with more catches than I came with.
That's all I know.
what you talk is all I know as I promise you I'm going to have more catches more yards
and more touchdowns than when I came all that other stuff
really what's it was his last name seeding uh Clayton Paul Lee Clayton Powell Lee
yeah I'm going to listen now I'm going to watch some film on him from last
year.
I'm going to watch him.
Yeah, I'm excited at night.
If I go back, I don't want to go back
to play the NFL. I want to be like 18, 19,
go back and play college football.
Boy, listen, if I can rewind time,
if I can.
But I want to know what I know now.
Okay, same, same.
What I know now, I would love the rewind time.
Listen, I don't want to go to No Power 5.
I don't want to go to No Power 5.
I want to go to Fam U.
I'm going to Sylvast.
I want to go to FAMU.
Matter of fact, I want to play football
and I want to play in the band.
I know it don't make no sense.
I have a love and infatuation.
What if, what instrument you're going to play?
I'm going to be the drum major.
What do you talk about?
Man, you bet, hey, ask Dr. White by me.
Ask Shelby Chippin by me.
I would be the drum major at FAMU right now if I could.
With your football uniform mode.
No, no, no, no.
I'm saying I'll switch.
I switch.
How'd the hell you think you're
You're going to be quick change
You're jumping and jump in and out of the clothes like Beyonce
I'm going to be that boy
I'm going to be that boy at fam
Yeah
I'm going to listen
You know the band start walking down
We're five minutes left in the second quarter
Yeah yeah
So what if you on offense
Hey listen
We're going to let the other team go first
We're going to let the other team
Let their band go first
That only happens if you're on
if you're at home, if you're on the road,
you don't get to tell me. Oh, y'all go first. They're not going
first. They're going to let you go first. They don't wait for me.
They don't wait for me to get out of dress.
Hey, unk. Listen,
I know I play a lot.
Unk, Jesus Christ, I wish I had my grades together
coming out of high school because I would have been at fam.
There's a reason I had to go to Langston.
I couldn't even get into fam.
Langston was one of the few schools that actually accepted me
with the bad-ass grades I had growing up.
There's a reason. There's a reason,
there's a reason, fam, you made me an ambassador because I've been showing love
to the school.
Since 19, goddamn, 92.
I just never had the opportunity to go there,
but my love and passion for the school is still there
because that's where I always wanted to be, you know?
So just if I, if hypothetically speaking,
if I can go back and had eligibility,
oh, man, please, I'm going to play a fan, man.
But I average 300 yards a game.
Right now?
But what you know now?
Yeah.
With ease.
With ease.
With ease.
Shit, I had, we played nine games.
I had three, two hundred, three, two hundred yard games and nine games.
Let's see, yeah.
Yeah, if to know what I know now, no understanding routes and concepts.
Yeah, I average 300 yards.
Oh, I'll be the first received with 2,000 yards receiving, for sure,
1,000%.
Meanwhile, this is what Coach Prime is saying about his squad, Ocho.
Let's take a listen to what he had to say.
I'm Dan.
He's Ty.

I'm Jake Hofer, and this is Back 40, a limited series show on Wire to Hunt, part of Meat Eaters Podcast Network.
Each episode, I'll be asking eight wide-tail hunting pros, a focused, thought-provoking question about hunting and land management.
How do I hunt the best part of the farm with less than ideal access?
Should you?
That's what the real question is.
Stand without good access is not a good stand.

Check out Behind the Flow, a podcast documentary series following the launch of San Diego
Football Club.
We go behind the scenes and explore the stories of those involved.
San Diego coming to MLS is going to be a game changer because this region has been
hungry for a men's professional soccer team.
We need veteran players and we need young players.
Like you're building a team from scratch.
And so the succession plan of long-term success needs to be defined.
We need to embrace this community.
When I was 13, my uncle took me to a qualifier,
and we watched Ottawa against Chile, pouring rain,
just watching the fans jumping up and down.
I think that was definitely a watershed moment for me.
Not only was that going to be my game,
but it was going to be my life.

We start school when, when and Ben?
Tomorrow.
No slides.
If I see you with, I'm going to send people to campus tomorrow.
If I see you with slides on campus, it's going to be a problem.
If I see you with a hoodie on in class or some headphones on in class, it's going to be a problem.
If I see you sitting in the back of the classroom, it's going to be a problem.
do we understand that
and if you're online
and you have online classes
and you don't have a shirt on
or you got a white beat on
or you have some stupid on
that causes distraction
or you walk around
during that online session
it's going to be a problem
we're good with that guys
now
I love it
I love it
because what he's talking
when he's talking about
it has nothing to do with football
it has nothing to do
with the game of football
you're going to have to conduct yourself
like this in the real world.
Why not start now?
Why not start now?
If you don't make it to the NFL,
whatever corporation,
whatever entity you work for,
you're not going to be able to go in there
with no goddamn...
You're going to be wearing no slides.
You don't be wearing no hoodie.
At all.
And if you're doing a Zoom meeting or call,
man, I saw the late,
Ocho, they had this lady,
she was in court.
She got a robe and a bonnet.
The judge said,
we're going to pause this.
We're going to come back to you.
You come back when you got something.
She's up there doing this.
She's inside a robe scratching.
That you just say,
ma'am,
is that a robe?
But you're scratching you?
I love this.
Yeah.
Because he's preparing these young men for life.
Now, football, don't you?
Guess what you can do with football?
You can go to meet him with what?
Slide.
Guess what does you go with?
A hoodie.
Guess what, on your headphones.
You can do all that.
All that.
Yeah.
but
everybody that's
in that meeting room
ain't going to be
in an NFL meeting room
where you can wear hoodies
where you can wear slides
your earphone
everything prime
and teaching them young fellas
right now
it all come down to one thing
discipline
discipline
the one thing
that's going to carry you
in life forever
regardless of what you try to do
where you make it to the NFL
whether it's the corporate world
or whatever respective craft you choose
and are passionate about.
If you have discipline,
you're going to succeed
no matter what it is you decide to do.
Yeah.
Always.
Man, Ojo, I ain't ever with sweat.
My brother should come down and say,
man, this is how y'all go to class?
Stars jeans,
eyes on.
Oh, you were fresh?
You was fresh?
Every Friday, I wore slacks and a college shirt.
Sometimes I wore a jacket,
had a brief yes sir i see you absolutely okay oh cho because we know we left we played
saturday so a lot of times we were leaving saturday morning i mean friday mornings if we if we
didn't leave at eight at like nine o'clock oh i'm going to the eight o'clock class okay okay
okay okay but mayor porter sent me to savannah state to get a degree and go play football
okay now i'm going to do both right but hold on you had that you had that drip on though
you put that you put that shit on uh
Hey, man, I had the Lee jee, Levi's, dark side, eyes on.
You had the crease, you had the crease in the jeans.
Crease.
Ocho, my first two years, I did it myself.
Had that Niagara?
Yeah, with the yellow, with the yellow top.
Come on, man.
I used Niagara.
Had a thing died.
Then my junior year, Curry's.
There was dry clean.
called Curry developed a friendship with the guy. As a matter of fact, he and his wife used to come
visit me when I went when I played in Denver. They would, he and his wife would come stay
with me, uh, would come stay in the house. His wife, when his wife came, they stayed at the hotel,
but when he came, he was sleeping in a spare bedroom downstairs. Uh, John, John Curry's his name.
You're from Savannah. You're no curry cleaners because they got one, um, what is that on apricorn?
Is that apricorn? The Duranus getaway. I forget, I forget where it's been many, many years ago.
Oh, Joe, I was super.
Yeah.
Because the thing is going to class.
Hey, you know, I'm taking all these government classes, the law classes.
I'm a lawyer.
You can't go in there, you know, any kind of way.
You got to be nice.
When I turn in my turn, people, I need to see me in some slacks.
I need you to see me in a college shirt.
Listen, I'd never forget.
I obviously never been to Oklahoma.
I get to Lanks University.
The, you know, you got people from Stillwater, you got people from Oklahoma, you got people from, you know, Houston, you got people from Dallas at the school.
And during that time, I learned about, boom, starching the jeans.
We ain't start, we really starched our genes down there in Oklahoma and Texas when they came to starching them jeans.
I'm talking about sharp to the tea.
You could barely get in them on Joe.
You can probably stand, you can stand them up on their own.
I never forget the names.
The quarterback team money
and Waylon Jones
at Lankt's University of time.
Big Shep, big Shep.
I don't know you yet, baby.
I love you.
I love if you, if you happen to see this.
Them jeans with
the high polo boots, they had the high polo boots
with the strap on the front.
You ever had a paddy?
Yeah.
Uh-oh.
Man, but them boy,
them boy was so sharp
with them polo boots on.
and I never I never forget it I had me a little Niagara I used to go to the little club
used to have right there called 33 with my little star jeans he's called Miami what you doing
with them things on like that oh cho and then we have no money we put flower and water that's
that's how we made start oh wow wait a minute huh now I know you didn't I know you didn't
Mariporty said, hey,
Mariporty sent me unprepared.
Wait, flower and water?
Yes.
Little fly in water, you make you the little bit, get you right.
I ain't know that.
I know you did.
Okay.
But that's O.C., that old country secret, country secret.
Curry cleaners on 1310 East Doreen Avenue.
As a matter of fact, they had a little alteration shop.
It'd be about five black ladies in there.
Oh, show, I used to go there.
I dropped my clothes off
I would go over there and just talk to them later
for the hours.
Damn, man.
Even when I went to the league
and came back in my first three years,
I stayed in Savannah.
Then I was like, man, I need to,
I got to get a pot of Savannah.
I got to, I got to go.
I got to go.
I got to go.
I would drop my clothes off.
I was still in there with them ladies
and talked to them ladies for hours.
Oh, man.
I got to go.
You just got here.
Just got here.
I've been here for an hour.
Two hours.
Oh, yeah, oh, yeah.
Oh, I was, you know, my brother say, man, dude, anybody, I, I never wore sweats
salt to class.
Always jeans, Aza's shirt, polo, always crease jeans, Friday, always color shirt, always
Hold on, so you missed the cross-color era, huh?
You ain't had no cross-colors?
No.
What?
Hold on, what about the Jabots?
We had the Jabots.
They had Jabot, they had Calvin Klein, they had Lee, they had Levi's, they had
Sergei Rigoletto was kind of like when I was in high school.
Yeah, but they had the, Jabot was like, kind of like, I was in the league.
Oh, okay, you was in the league.
Man, listen, at Langston, there's a huge community of students from Chicago.
They had every color of Jablots, man.
I'd never forget.
Oh, man.
It was the time.
It was the time.
And you know what it just came out
when I got to call
like my sophomore year?
Tommy Hill figure.
Oh, Tommy.
A, Tommy and Polo says
he in Miami was big,
what?
The little sets with the shorts
with a little polo
with a three button shirt.
Yep.
Yeah.
But I was sharp.
I was sharp.
Sharp.
That's a, no pun intended.
But your boy was sharp.
Damn.
I remember him today.
Oh, Joe Gillie called you out
for being a glizzy gladiator he wrote one thing at what you're going to do is he
going to be a glisie gladiator everywhere he goes check this out what he got what he got he got
meat hot dog
Oh, he's talking with the hot dogs in my pocket.
That's a C-U, isn't it?
Hey, um, one thing I do.
Like, I know, listen, the times and the air is we in that,
they talk about, oh, glissies, who are eating hot dogs,
man, I don't care none by that.
But where I go?
When I go to any sporting event, baseball, basketball, football, soccer games,
I'm getting my two hot dogs, a small popcorn, and a Coke with no ice.
I don't care who's seeing me eating my hot dogs.
I'm eating my two hot dogs.
You had like, that was dry.
Did you have ketchup?
I don't need no condoms on.
I eat everything plain.
Because I don't put nothing on, you know what, when I eat.
So I don't need nothing on my hot dog.
You hear me?
Yeah, listen, I eat everything plain as is.
All the condiments I need, they come within my system.
Yeah, I didn't have no, look, it's not that I have no glitzy, all that stuff.
I just haven't eaten a hot dog in probably two days.
You don't know what you're missing?
I tell you no lie, you don't know what you're missing.
And sometimes, you know what, sometimes if it's too many people around, I break the hot dog off, right?
And I shake it like some dice.
then I just
throw them in my mouth real quick, you know
I want some, you know, now you got
me thinking I want some nachos. I might go to the movie
just get some nachos. Did you see
a higher thing?
I saw Michael walking into
the city. We eat nachos.
Hold on. The new movie, Mike slightly
and did sell.
Oh, you're talking about lowest the highest? I saw it.
Man, it was good. You saw it?
I haven't seen it. Listen, I went
to the movie theater with the
missus, have two hot dogs,
small popcorn in McCoke.
Highland was good. It was good.
How much popcorn cost in the movies now?
Oh, that's a good question, huh? That's a good question.
I was treated to the movie, so I'm not sure what the price is.
That's a good question. It shouldn't be that much, though.
Because I normally get, I normally get, like, I get a, like, a Diet Coke or an icy,
popcorn and Twizzlers.
Twizzlers?
Oh, man, you tripping, man. Listen, you could at least say Raisinettes.
Twizzle?
Man, don't be a damn rink.
Eat no way's net?
Hell, man.
You, man, you ain't living right, man.
You ain't living right.
What's the point of going to the movies and you, and getting Twizzlers?
Nobody eats anything.
If I will, if I'm going to get, if I'm going to get like candy candy, it'll probably be
Reese's pieces.
Okay, okay.
I can live with that.
I can live with that.
I can live with that.
But not no Twizzlers.
Twizzlers nasty.
It's like eating candle wax.
I'm trying to think, I think last time I went to the movies is popcorn more than $7, $6, $5.
It ain't that bad.
You just got to go to the matinee.
Go to the matinee.
Because I think I last time I went, I think popcorn is like $5, $6.
It's more than that?
$12.
$12 for what?
For popcorn.
Now you got to go to the matinee.
The price is not the same at the matinee.
And either, you know, you can.
They still have dollar.
Hold on, they still have dollar matinee.
No, I don't know about dollar.
But you can use your AARP card.
I do.
Yeah, use your AARP card.
How much is a matinee now?
I mean, for me, I used my AARP cards.
So it was like, it was like $10.
Because I used to go to, what's that, uh, uh, I pick.
Oh, that movie was like $22.
The IP didn't.
Now, see, you go in the I pick, of course,
you're going to have to pay for the amenities
in which you're about to get.
That's different.
I go, I go right here off of Sheridan.
I go right here off of Sheridan.
Or I go right here by Pirmick Lake's Mall.
It's an AMC right there.
Oh.
But they got those nice chairs, huh?
Yeah, you lean back.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what I'm going to be.
Yeah, see, I'm not, I'm trying to get in and get out.
You haven't been to the movie theater where they got them share, those chairs, like, give you 3D and they'd be moving?
Yeah.
Like when they got, they got it over here and, um, guy, it's in the Spanish area, though.
I forgot the name of it, huh?
Dang.
Damn, I got to go to the movie, man.
I have, oh, Ocho, I think I've been to one movie since, since COVID.
What you saw?
Shit, don't start me the line.
Hey, anybody in the chat?
That's from Miami.
What's the name of the mall?
In the Spanish hair by Malt of Americas.
Damn, they got to.
I'm going to the movies.
I've got to go to the movies.
My off date.
Oh, damn.
I got to get a haircut.
You got to go see highest or lowest, though, huh?
It's real good.
I'll check it out.
Because I want to get.
I'm trying to think what I'm going to get when I go to the movies.
Man, I ain't been to the movies so long.
Damn.
Man, I used to love the movies.
I'll talk about Lo, Ocho.
You know I once saw six movies in one day?
Wait, wait, hold on.
That means you never left the theater.
You just went from one.
I did.
Yeah, I remember those days.
I went there, I got to the movie about 11,
and I got home about 12, 31 o'clock.
Dolphin Mall, that's it, Dolphin Mall.
Okay, yeah, I've done that.
Long time ago, long time ago.
But I used to see two are, two is max.
Two is max for me, because I got to get back home.
Hey, on Biscayne Boulevard, where you have the movie theater is called a.
Yeah.
Two movies max.
I pay for one.
I'll stay, go to another one.
By that time, I got to get back home.
I paid for one, and I saw the other for free.
Oh, do some good days back in the day.
There was the days, though, Joe.
There was the days, man.
I miss that.
I miss being able to go to the movies
and, you know, I'm the only one in there
because I would, you know,
I'm the only one in there like,
like during the season, me and Burns.
That was our thing.
Monday or Tuesday, we're going to go to the movies.
Man, what you do?
Man, let's go to the movie.
I'll meet you up there.
I had a good day, you're.
Man, I miss those times.
Powerball jackpot jumps to 750 million,
the 10th largest ever.
The next drawing is Monday night.
That's the night.
Hey, you know what, I probably, I probably won, too.
You heard me?
I, listen.
Yeah, I need to tell, I need to tell my sister, Atlanta,
because they don't have to, they don't have the drawings out here.
Listen, I think I probably won.
I could, I'm going to, I'm going to tell you what I'm going to do with my winnings.
I'm going to tell you what I'm going to do with my winnings.
What are you going to do?
First.
If you want 750 million, how much is that if you take a lump sum in Florida?
Because it varies because if you
California you got to play state tax
Some states have state tax
So if you took a lump sum
750 million in Florida
I'm going to tell you what I'm going to do with my right now
How much it is
It's probably four and some change, watch
350
Nah, it's four
390
That's perfect
So boom let's say
Hypothetically speaking
Well I'm probably going to win anyway
So I didn't check my numbers yet
But the first, my first thing is I'm going to be minority owner and player for Napoli, my favorite team in Italy, right?
Then I'm going to buy into the dolphins as well.
Minority, a huge stake in the dolphins.
You're nothing about no huge stake.
In the dolphins?
Yeah.
The owner, no.
How much, what percentage?
The Dolphs are valued in about like $67 billion.
So 10% is $700 million.
I don't know.
So you must be going to talk about a minority.
You must be talking about a 2% same.
That's fine.
Just so I can walk with it like I'm part of it.
Then for those that have kids from, I'm going to give them a huge chunk, right?
Give them a huge chunk, those that have kids from then.
They go.
They're grown.
Now, what about the ones that's grown?
No, the moms, no, regardless, they, they're going to get them a nice huge chunk.
Then the kids, they're going to come move with me.
I'm going to move the kids with me.
give the mothers a break listen
y'all boom y'all done a hell of a job
y'all go out there enjoy yourself
have you some fun
being being the kids
we're going to start a show
with just me and the kids
we're going to start our own show
and boom that's pretty much it
yeah I think
I think that's a great idea
and then you know you know how I'm a philanthropist
and I love I love to get back
obviously I'm going to give back I'm not
going to announce it I think my tips
you know how I tip I tip a thousand dollars
everything go. Yeah. So I'm going to add a zero to all my tips. Well, first thing I'm going to do
is I'm going to get me my financial people, make sure we all. Yes. So. Then I got an
endowment for Savannah State. Uh, then all the kids. My brother, I'm going to go ahead and break him
on. Because like when I, when I, when I, when I, when I, when I, when I, when I, when I, when I,
when I, when it's time for me to go ahead and meet the maker, I, I don't want to have to give
nothing away. Everything
going to be already taken care of away before the end.
So nobody
ain't going to be griping about
nothing about this. Everybody going to be the
got what they're going to get.
Then I say, you know what, Ocho?
Ocho, we had a great run.
You leave it? But it's time
it's time for me to hand it off to you. It's the Ocho and
it's the Ocho and Joe.
Show. Come on, man.
Hey, I got two days a week for you.
Okay, okay.
I got two days a little for you.
I'll let you pick the two days.
I'm old, but, hey.
But, hey, I would be fading in and out.
You know, I'm on a beach and get crappy, crappy Internet service.
I'll be fading in and out.
I'm moving somewhere.
I need me like 50 acres.
Oh.
I'm going to have me by 10 dogs.
I'm going to have raccoons, possums,
many cows, many goats, many horses.
That's what I want.
I like it.
I like it. That's fun.
That's fun.
I like it.
I like it.
And that's it, don't Joe?
That's it.
I got.
And then like my, my, my responsibilities and my overhead, it's so small.
It's so small.
It's me, my kids, and those I have kids.
from. And that's, that's it. My immediate family, my, my brother, my two brothers, that's it.
My mom is gone. My grandma's gone. You know, I have my small nucleus of friends. You know,
they, they know, you know, they're good. Oh, yeah. You know, bucket, I get bucket, I get
bucket like 15. I get burns about 15. Yeah, we're going to, we're going to be straight.
We're going to be straight. Yeah. Yeah. As, you know,
you could be a you could be CEO yeah a matter of fact when I went when I
your you could be you could be BP you can be whatever you want to be matter
fact okay when I win when I win when I win the parable or the mega
millions I'm gonna pay your 5900 too that'll be awful nice of you do we sell
about a 50 billion to give me 59 hundred thank you I really really
appreciate that chat y'all hear this man this man say you know what when I will sell
$150 million. I'm going to pay your $5,900.
Well, damn.
Oh, yeah, no.
That's the only thing I really hate about being out here,
Ocho, Nick, you can't buy no lottery and no playing no pounds and stuff like that.
No. Oh, I know why. I know why. I know why.
Yeah.
Damn. Oh, that was good. That was funny.
All right. Ocho, time flew by. It's time for.
final segment of the evening, it's time for Q.
And hey, it was good, boy.
God damn, that was good.
You know what's funny?
Hey, chat, watch.
I'm going to check the numbers because I played.
No, I don't really gamble or play, but I took a chance.
I'm telling you, when I check these numbers tonight,
I guarantee I won that power ball.
Watch.
What?
I shall hope you won.
I'm telling you.
I'm telling you now.
What?
Ocho, they posed, somebody posed a great question.
Nick Marr says, who gives page?
first. Micah from Jerry
or Unk from Ocho?
Micah.
Micah, go get paid
for Unk.
As long as I owe you,
you just know you never go, bro.
You'll never go, bro.
Long as I owe you.
Ocho,
Jamal, the singer, said,
Ocho, when you get that money,
said Marvin Saab 40,000
so he can let us out this church.
We're still in here.
Hey, I forgot all about that.
That's a good.
Yeah.
Oh, I forgot.
Yeah, my uncle.
I got an uncle that's a pastor.
So I'm going to break the church off.
Okay, okay.
Aaron Owen, Jailer Hurst is too low in the NFL top 100.
He should have been at least no lower than 12, in my opinion.
I didn't see it.
So they had the top.
So what are they?
15.
So you look at
Sequin,
Lamar,
oh.
Well, that's what, that's what
is peers voted about. I mean,
y'all say y'all won't peers to vote.
The peers vote, then you say that's too low.
You say, play it when, when the media does it,
the media will know,
talking about. So I don't know.
Vin Hoffman, Tyreek is still
best receiver in the NFL. Revenge coming.
Yeah, I can see that. As long as Tua stays
upright. As long as Torek is going to pick up exactly
where he left all before Tua got hurt in the previous two seasons
when Tula was healthy. I can see that happen.
Because Tariq is not slowing down anytime soon.
Uh, English bank says, I watch you consistently.
Deshaun's not playing like you Sharp Stradamas,
but he's already running full speed and throwing.
Love y'all. Keep rocking.
I still don't believe he playing this year.
That boy, whatever your name is, bro.
I know about Billable I was too.
Just finished buying my wife's kids with her tickets to Colorado
versus Georgia Tech game for her birthday that passed yesterday
and paying for my daughter's first pre-stress.
school tuition. Yeah.
They add up.
They add up. I mean, tuition
and this and that.
But you're doing a great job. She's going to love you.
She gets to go to Colorado, Georgia Tech.
Rose TV once said, how is it going through
Baltimore and Lamar never been to the bowl?
All I know is
let him know.
Lamar is 7 and 1.
against the bingo let them know all I know is Lamar seven to one against the
Bengals I don't know I know the Bengals I know the Bengals I know he's seven to one
I know what y'all do y'all were sightsees been we've been there y'all ain't been
there y'all ain't been there the rabies don't we're twice and we talk about we talk
about now we talk about now yeah uh I'm a fled says Ocho won't eat twizzle
but eat feet true yes and whoever they just said that the fact that you don't partake in
sucking of the feet not eating sucking of the feet using ice whipped cream hot syrup like what i mean
how are you living how are you living if you're not using all the all the amenities that you
have your disposal in the kitchen huh come on man
Hey, buy my tutorial.
Buy my tutorial on YouTube on how to, you know, have some fun and spicy that.
Yeah, put it on Patreon and get it off here.
DuLogante, glad Trey got his money, but Ocho, that defense is cooked.
The bingo's going to be on Galveston Beach in February like Charles Barkley say.
Y'all to see.
Y'all to see.
Tyler Hamilton, you and my pops played one another.
I guess that's what he said.
Millard Hobbilt.
What?
I'm trying to think.
Miller Hamilton.
That's his name.
Tyler Hamilton.
Tyler Hamilton.
Name doesn't sound familiar.
Joe eggs black,
up to your point about eating to build muscle.
My power lifting coach, Ben told me,
you got to get big.
You do.
That's how you grow.
Pat Dove, when you're going to have Leo on nightcap?
Man, I don't even know, man.
I don't even know if Leo's still alive, man.
But I'm, you know what?
Hey, that story was funny as hell, boy.
I need to get high C on here.
One of my teammates, they were from the same hometown,
Sandersville, High C.
High C wouldn't know where he's at.
maybe a big daddy might
a forward might know
I'm gonna call I'm gonna get in touch with him
Leah ain't got no equipment
I don't even know if he got a phone but
I don't even know if he got a phone
but I tell you what I'm gonna find him
I'm gonna find him if he's alive
and well I'll find him
Hurrah Kiffel
will you ever consider Ocho as a
Hall of Famer players got him with less
check the numbers and put some respect on it
I don't decide
I ain't got no vote okay got no vote
I decided.
That's why I put my own jacket on.
I decided.
I inducted myself one of one.
Deshawn Allen says, what's up, Ocho?
My question is, which game was it you realize it's time to hang the cleats up?
I was going to come back and play year 15.
I was in some of the best, and I know people say this all the time, Ocho, but I was in phenomenal shape.
I took a picture.
It's on my wall.
but I was I'm talking about I was peeled I was too I was going I was going
I was going to probably report the camp because as a matter of fact they had camp
they started camp that Wednesday I did the photo shoot that Friday so I was
about 227 I was 227ish I'm talking about look here like a Clinton email
way to disappeared don't
So I was going to come back for year 15 until, you know, CBS asked me what I'd be interested in being on the panel around the desk.
And but even in year 14, Ocho, what I started to notice, I couldn't do it like I once could.
I could have that monster game, but then the next two to three games going to be so-so.
I just couldn't put it together back-to-back-to-back like I wasn't.
could. And I was like, damn. I mean, I felt fine. I really did, Ocho, and I looked fine. But the body, man, it just, it just wouldn't respond like I wanted, like I needed it to. And then, and then once you come to the realization, is there anything that I could do to change people's reception of Shannon? Some was going to like me. Some weren't. I had all the economy. I had pro bowls, had all pros.
I had Super Bowls.
I was all decade, first.
So, so what?
So if I called another 50 passes,
if I caught another 800 yards,
if I had another 10 touchdown,
if I won another Super Bowl,
that wasn't going to change anybody.
They wasn't going to think I was any better
because I had four Super Bowls instead of three.
I had another,
I had 1150 catch seasons,
which was the record at the time.
So if I had another with 12,
they think I was better now
because I had 12 instead of 11?
No.
Then once you start looking at it like that,
Ocho, for me,
that was good that was good and it just it just got you know they they you know i just got
tired of man hey come on getting here study come on guys come on man let's practice it
had started i had started to phase out guys started to tune you out they didn't take it serious
enough of me oh so i'm man you know when it comes to the job to work at hand look look play a
I like to play too
but when it comes to work
Ocho we got to get to work
understand why we here
why are we here
why are we here
got to keep the main thing the main thing
that's it
bro what you what let me ask your question
why do you think you hear
and it just
just my time to let it go
Ocho just my time to let it go
and that's okay
that concludes
