guys hi and welcome to nip tuck not giving a fuck and and we are your hosts well where were you going with that we've got a big chunky episode to record today because lauren's off on her honeymoon yay yay yay right guys so um by the time you hear this lauren will Either me or the piss went through. Just come back or will she still be there, Christina? Oh, I don't know. I don't know. She's not in a good mood about this.

I'm not in a good way. It's first world problems, absolutely. Before, let me caveat, I'm well aware that this is a first world problem, but it's my problem right now, so I shall share it. Yeah. So you may have seen Maldives Gate on my Instagram.

So everyone's probably like, fuck off. How many people have said that to their friends? Like, she's going to Maldives, shut the fuck up. Anyway, I don't care. It's my Instagram, and I will do what I like on there. Again, if you don't like it, then unfollow me. So, I'm going to the Maldives, guys. It's our honeymoon, which turned into a baby moon real quick.

Real quick and real unexpected. So, it's a two-in-one. We're going to the Maldives for five nights, and then we're going to Dubai for three. Thank God you booked that bit. Thank God I booked that bit. I thought you were going to say, thank God you're going. I was like, okay.

So, now, before anyone starts, it's a tropical place, so you can get, like, thunderstorms, that kind of thing. That's really normal. you can get like a little bit of rain and then loads of sun great however what is going on at the maldives in some places is i can only describe as a monsoon um basically it's not good chloe khan went have you seen her oh everyone's told me about yeah and then people like just go to thailand well it's not that easy really so basically i've already booked it all we've paid a lot of money of course it's the maldives it's expensive um but you know we've worked hard for it and it's

our honeymoon anyway it turns out that it's very very likely that there's going to be it's not a cyclops that's not the word and i can't remember there's gonna be a something and basically it's not just your usual there is unusually bad weather it's come from some other fucking place it's blown over some bastard place and then it's looking like touch wood but there's gonna it's potentially going to be five days of absolute downpour as in umbrella downpour like they've sent a weather there's a weather warning and it's literally this week while i'm there um now the maldives stunning gorgeous but nowhere and i i will argue with anyone about this nowhere is nice in the rain you could be in it's grey it's rain it is not Maldives is not nowhere so we've looked at Tony

P booked it for us and poor bastard half seven or something like that on a Saturday morning gets a voice note off me oh it's raining so I asked him to look in the TNCs as to whether potentially we could just cancel that hotel and get my money back and then I'd just go to Dubai instead or Abu Dhabi or something but no it's a no so we're going um people keep sending me sometimes I'm getting pictures of like really nice sunshine and then the next thing someone's sending me awful ones it's really 50 50 i've been getting like fuck it cancel it it's going to be terrible we had the worst holiday ever i did ask for opinions and then i'm getting ignore it it's going to be really sunny it's gorgeous there now i'm getting some people sending me pure rain

some pure sun it's a head fuck yeah um but it is what it is and we're going um it's only five nights it's only five nights of rain it's not it's not good anyway we're gonna go um and i'm gonna make the most of it lots of naps and yeah oh god and i can't even like shag all day because i'm pregnant do you know what i mean i'm already pregnant what's the point like that's what is the point in shagging i'm pregnant do you know what i mean and i keep getting thrush as well sorry we've got a room full of men but it is what it is this is this is the podcast um and so and james actually fair do you know what one of my friends got the worst thrush in the world when she was in the mall because she said the hotels are so bougie like all the shower stuff was joe malone and she

was like and then she was like well i i've been getting it and it is a pregnancy symptom and again we have got a room full of men today so i'm really sorry i'm gonna carry on anyway oh yeah do We need to say what we're doing for that in a second. I don't really know what we're doing. We're doing something, it's an American. We're filming for Hulu and ABC. Yeah, well, yeah. We'll post it on Patreon.

We did, I don't know really. Post it on Patreon. Anyway, back to my thrush. So it has been so bad that James said the other day, let me take a look. And I was like, no. What, like just itchy or? It's like, guys, I'm so sorry.

The discharge, the itching, the whole lot. So James goes, let me have a look. Let me have a look. So I was like, what? So we're on the sofa. Legs are kimbo. He's got this shiny, he puts his torch on his phone. And he goes down there.

It's been a while. Sifts through. Anyway. And he goes, oh, doesn't look good, that. Doesn't look good. You're angry. What did you expect to find? Why did you look there?

He's like, it's not good, that, Lauren. Not good. What's midwife Laura said? It's just thrush. I'm going to have to get some stuff. I haven't had time. So then I was going to get, we were Googling it. And he's like, Lauren, just chuck some salt.

Natural yoghurt. Well, I didn't have any in the house, so we Googled it. And he was like, just chuck some salt at it. And I was like, what, some salt? You want me to lie on my back while you use a grinder and grind salt into my vagina? So then we got, when the kids went to bed, we got a massive bowl that you mix a salad in, for example.

And we made a salt water. Never eat salad at Lauren's house. I don't make salad, so it's never been used. it's what you make you're putting your dolls in isn't it no I have

I have giant cereal bowls have you ever done that just got a huge bowl and made it full of cereal no anyway so we made a salt water

solution and sat my bottom in it in front of a salad anyway it's not worked so

yeah I've got a throw so I'm going to the Maldives worst case I thought salt water though salt water i can dip my bottom into the water anyway lauren worst case worst case i'm gonna we're going to

dubai anyway i will move the dubai flight sooner which means i'm gonna have lost all the hotel we're gonna lost the hotel money and i'm gonna have to then pay for the extra in dubai yeah but i would rather do that than sit there with a brolly there's this um it's actually on the Daily Mail it's pretty funny scratching your fanny scratching my fanny Lauren just looking sad on the balcony

with a brolly scratching and James just like shall I have another look nothing else to do but him have another look like what else is there to do so listen we might get there guys pray for me we might get there we might get some sunshine my fanny might clear up

and everything might be absolutely fine yeah um but yeah we'll just see we'll see um but i i am a very good holiday goer and i'm a good packer um i've just bought actually so i love all like the designer or the fence find um you know louverton whatever whole the toiletry bags i love all that but you know what my best toiletry bags are and i'll link them the clear amazon ones yeah just the black rim around them um and i've got like four of those you should buy new ones when they go a bit horrid when they go disgusting yeah and then you can see what you're rooting for which i find much kind of just a top tip they're very

good when you're in hospital well i'll probably take them for the baby because you can see what you're looking for yeah so i've got different sized ones oh my god but listen to this i mean i'm really being quite bougie here we're going to the private um the private the new private terminal at manchester airport meant to be amazing but the problem is right because we all know me it is very bougie and I looked at the menu tuna tartare I was like oh yay

and I was just like so basically what you do I will do a video on it because I mean let's be honest I can't do any other fucking content because it's going to be that rainy but I'm going to do a video on it and you get there and according to Tony P you literally just arrive, give them your bags and you take it

and you go and sit down three course meal which i probably take some crisps and like i might take a tuna sandwich oh a liz sandwich i might make my mom do a sandwich um and there's like a three course meal all your food all your drinks included you can be there for like you can drink it anyway um and i could yeah so that's gonna be fun the start of a really fun holiday and um you just sit there you don't have to do anything they check you in they do everything then when you're ready they come and get you you get into a black car and they drive you to the steps and out you get and up the stairs you go and guess which way i'm turning

left i'm going left so a little tip for you guys if you ever can or want to and save up so business class on its own is like what four grand something it's silly money silly i'm not paying that but if you book with emma so sometimes you book with like a cheaper provider because you think oh i'll get my flight 50 quid cheaper or whatever but if you actually like on um online yeah like sky scanner yeah but if you actually book with emirates 48 hours before check-in you can go to check-in and they often have if the space in business they'll have like and a lot of people do this great because you think how the fuck are they flying business yeah yeah i'll tell you how there's a few suspects there's a few suspects and i'm gonna be honest they're not paying four grand a pop yeah it's

still expensive don't get me wrong but much more realistic and you go on and you can upgrade need there cheaper or you get there early you go straight to the business class queue straight to the front and ask if there's any available and it varies i once got upgraded for 400 pounds which again a lot of money but not four grand and it can go up to like a grand it really varies listen it's a bougie trip it's our honeymoon i'm going all out but i just thought i'd tell you guys because a lot of people are you gonna get one of those pictures yes yes i'm not going business to not take a fucking picture it's going on instagram it's going to go on the grid um but yeah a lot of times you look and you think i've never flown business class before you don't fly you don't

go anywhere do you like to you don't need to your life is business class like you don't need to pay the extra like this for me is like oh business class every morning you wake up to business class and but it is i've flown a couple of times the reason i did it really is james hasn't and i just wanted to make it special but we will not be flying business class on the way home does anyone no the way home you just get on where you put your head down put your hood up yeah actually you've done a pj yes you've done a fucking pj i don't know how you can say i've never flown business you've been in a pj if anyone doesn't know what that is it's a private jet yes i have um but we got then talking about like we were like save it for the record but worst holidays

that you've ever been on or when you've got there you've had like an absolute disaster what is your worst holiday um right let me think for me if it's not nice weather then it's a disaster that's just like you pay all that money to sit at or that rear it kills me inside when you step off the plane and it's not like the heat doesn't hit you yeah god it's awful rain and you just think what have i done so that's quite unpleasant i once went to mykonos with a really horrible boyfriend um and that was quite a traumatic holiday actually that was quite horrible um i just had my boobs denied an infection and that was really quite a vile holiday um i once went on a cruise and it was when i was younger with my mom and it was storms that was quite bad

oh gosh um or when you get ill on holiday that is absolutely that's just reminding me so got something funny to tell you sorry james um so james has just come back from skiing hasn't he oh yeah by the way he was homesick after two days and desperate to come home they think that they're so clever yeah going no and then they get there and that i miss my wife yeah my kids anyway he got a 24 hour bug yeah so he was at the top of a mountain and he shat himself no and it was a three hour ski home with poo between his cheeks he had he pooed he had full underpants of poo and he had to ski for three hours and he said every time like he would you know like i believe when you ski you have to bend here and there i don't

know it's not something i would ever need to do but i believe you do the odd bend and every time he did a bend it would squirt and he had to just go home with he had to stay with poo in his pants all day yeah poor boy so that's probably quite a bad one for him yeah and i've had friends that have gone to like um where is it egypt or stuff like that and got like and the whole time with like a new boyfriend in the room and you're both like fighting over the toilet, being sick and stuff. Yeah, I think going on holiday with a partner is,

it's, do you know what really fucking pisses me off? When these hotels have glass toilets. Open bathrooms. Yeah, like what? What? Glass toilets. Why? Or the toilet with the gap and it's glass.

Yeah, or even just the ones, like even if you're a couple and you've been together for years, I don't want to watch you doing a poo. No, no, no. Would anybody want that? No. no and then even a shower i want i don't want you watching me in the shower i want to shave

my bum i don't want you watching this kind of thing no but yeah i always think if you go on holiday with a guy it's such a it's a big test someone put it on patreon did you see the other day it was something like i'm going away for eight nights what do i do with the toilet situation you need to take what's the thing that bungs you up no because then you'll be bloated yeah well listen my tip for that is always at breakfast you go to a communal toilet yeah do it there like that or you run back to the room because you've forgotten something and just try and get it out in the morning

and hope for the best but yeah I think the first holidays are what were mine and James's first holiday God I can't even remember where we went but it is it's another level of commitment going on holidays together

and you see sides of them yeah what if they're an airport person that has to be at the front of the gate like quick we're going to be late sit down at your gate that would put me off What if they clap when the plane lands?

Oh! One of James' ADHD things is clapping, but not then. He claps all the time, especially when he's excited. He goes, whoo, in the kitchen when he's excited. It's really weird. But clapping when the plane lands. Or what if they're, like, rude to the people? Or what if they print everything out in a folder?

I'd love that. Ed forgets my passport at the airport. But if a man turned up with a wallet, with everything that his mummy had printed out that's another that's one less job for me then isn't it that would really give me the is james really weird about things like his passport and his wallet and stuff because ed is like if even if i have hold of his passport for more than five minutes he gets really like james is in another way he's in another country man he's in another world that boy yeah i just follow him around with everything and it's quite like old school the

whole passport thing surely you would think that they've thought of a new like way of a new way of getting around you know i mean like the whole like having that passport physical passport i didn't know this but it's happened to a few of my friends recently if you've got one tiny tear or stain now on your passport you can't use it do you know what i judge people for and i shouldn't and i don't know why it's just one of those things after everything i've already said this morning when people have really scruffy dirty passports it makes me feel sick yeah do you know like when they've had them in the bag on a night out and they've got all makeup on them i just think oh god what kind of person are you i don't think you can well i've not needed a passport for now use them but you

know what i mean when you look at someone's passport and it's filthy i think oh i don't trust you i keep you can't keep somewhere i think ed's got hold of it or something for something some kind of reason but you don't really you you're not holiday girl are you you just don't like it and i get it like you know actually no i don't get it it's too hard with the kids you will get oh my god so i'm leaving theater oh and i do this every time i book it and i think it'll be fine like whatever and then the day before i've had such bad anxiety today because i'm panicking about it but listen don't book the holiday if you're that arsed clearly i'm not that bothered because i'm still going but she's with my mum for some of it and it's her dad's weekend anyway so

after and he's he had a girlfriend at the time i was on the girlfriend's instagram yesterday who's his girl i was yeah i was interested no i had a lot and then i wondered where all his fortunes gone i thought his mom and dad's house looked nice didn't it it went to his mom but they seemed very nice yeah yeah but that was really sad that it was very bad and he is really sad do you know what else i was watching i thought how do you make music like what a fucking skill he was just like one minute like the next thing he's like what if i lose and all of a sudden he just came out of nowhere i know i like him he's nice also love island you're gonna watch it all stars i don't watch things like that really i i'm not consistent enough you need to watch it every

night yeah that's what i mean and then i'll like forget to watch something and then you don't know what's going on like he used to be really good at watching big brother love island stuff like that but i i just yeah so i'm gonna watch it because scott's in it um i'll watch it if somebody i know is in it really hope that zara mcdermott goes in i don't think she will i think she's she's too good for like if she went in i'd be like so by the time this goes out it'll already have started don't forget guys were behind but i will be watching it i listened to sam and pete this morning as well because he was addressing the break oh was he what did he say didn't say much something's happened didn't say much at all he said basically pete turned his phone off for

two weeks over christmas and sam was trying to ring him that's such a yeah it is they're very funny i've got a soft spot they're very funny and he just turned his whole phone off and didn't know and he just said he's being respectful he's not going to talk about it but they have split up but for a large sum of money would be considerate someone's going to sell a story

there's going to be a I like Sam and Pete I really do I'm sad I liked Sam and Zara together as well I always had doubts about that not that I know anything I don't know them and I know nothing

maybe we go on the same day i'd like to focus on my under eyes after the baby definitely and do some um i think i might get my lower blephs i might get a bleph i'm going to speak to uh our mate surgeon yes yes chris and have a chat with him and see what he thinks yeah and see what he thinks about it but i have to say at the minute my skin and i think a lot of people are thinking the same from what patreon's saying is really dry i think i'm pregnant it's dry but it's the heating it's the cold and the hot and it's hair as well i feel like my hair has been really dry i don't know about you and like snappy yes and what are your tips because you've got fantastic hair right so um i've been on a hair growth journey i have not touched an extension

a permanent extension for about a year now yeah is it um and it's it's works it's true i only have it colored about every four to six months now as well um and i just swear by the kerastase elixir oil right i've got that yeah so what i think we got it in something yeah we did we got a mini one but i go through that when do you put it on i use it as an all-rounder i use it as after i've washed my hair one pump on it yeah i use it as a mask so like you know like today i've got it in and i just scrape on my hair back with it in it i just find it's really nourishing you just like it it works and before i go on the infrared sauna i put a thick layer of the skinceuticals phyto mask on and you know the green one it's so not tried good and then i put loads of that in my hair and then

i comb it in and i feel like the infrared sauna just makes makes it really good did you see as well um a poster do you can get the at home loomy infrared sauna how much 2000 i thought more and you plug it in at the wall no i thought it'd be more seen it because the dermalux is 2000 i thought it's on offer at the minute i'm really surprised i think that's i don't think that's bad if you had like an at-home gym how good would it be to have that plugged in oh that is just the dream i mean because when i go to the gym that's mainly what i do as i said i haven't even actually got a drawer for my baby's clothes yet so maybe i could have in the garden um but i do i do i think i think that's a pretty decent price for it my hair i love k18 i do wear extensions because

and i do think i think look when you wear hair extensions you can do them in the in the least damaging way possible but i still think having no extensions versus having extensions of course they're gonna weigh on your hair a little bit i've taken mine down now i just have two rows of weave and katie at spectrum just gotta be careful after you've had the baby because you think you've skipped the hair loss and then six months after it well james actually said to me the other day i had my hair in a bun like back and he's like oh my god your hair seems to be a lot thicker yeah and like the front seems to be coming through more um i don't remember touchwood any postpartum hair loss with fear but i also had postpartum husband loss yeah so i don't know whether i even

noticed the hair but i don't remember it um i love the current body led head thing i actually think that's really it's really and i've been callous him in my head oh yeah probably not whatever um calisthenia and antiage stem cells you can put i've been stamping my head antiage have just sent me their new stem cell eye cream oh i've not sure oh that ah yeah don't let me forget to order some stuff to put in my c-section i'm going to give it the surgeon like you did with your face and i'm going to say pour this into the section scar don't know if the nhs will do that well i'll get it and i'll pour it in myself i'll pass it to james and i'll say when they're sewing it up get in front and pour this it did i do think that worked i do think i'll throw it out

from the screen have you sorted out the stem cell cord banking and stuff no yeah so my thought is this honeymoon then i'm on baby mode then i'm going to start buying it stuff and things like that and prams but hair stuff is part of our bargain bucket today yeah so we're going to have a little chat about our favorite hair products now one thing that i will say about hair growing and everything is don't wash it all the time i wash my hair probably twice a week yeah i that's mine's mainly because i'm really really lazy and using dry shampoo supposedly it's not meant to be great hair follicles listen i i use batista i do i do i know and i know it i know there's this that and the other and we've spoken about this before and but at the end of the day sometimes convenience

wins over what you know and it does give you volume as well sometimes i will wash mine curl it and then i'll just give it a spray through yeah that's what i do but try not to use it consistently and overuse i think you just be careful you're meant to put dry shampoo in before you go to bed that's what i do that's what i do um but we love that arib dry texturizing spray very and their hairspray is lovely as well it's really light and oil it's very expensive theory of stuff but it's very luxury yeah if you want to get it for a little split it smells like oud i'll tell you what's good as well now i can't pronounce it there's a lot of vowels in it a lot of o's a lot of u's a lot of i's oh yeah way oh yeah they do a detoxifying shampoo oh yeah

once a week it's really nice just a hard metal yeah and because once a week um it gets rid of you know like the products that you're using yeah because it does have you ever washed your hair and then thought still doesn't feel clean it's like one of those where you can really really clean it the nioxin shampoo is amazing the green one and it's a little bit minty yeah yeah nioxin's meant to be actually one of the genuinely works systems yeah um the reason i struggle with stuff like is because i do have extensions it's kind of hard because it's like you can use this on your normal hair and this on your extensions you can't use next on your extensions oh yeah so what i tend to do that's why i've had my extensions lowered so i can use this top half and do my care on it

yeah and not on the bottom so it's hard but i couldn't take my extensions out i've never had thick hair i just i'm not that my mum hasn't and you've got a weave now haven't you prefer a weave i just i much prefer a weave tapes were not for me they used to pull my hair out they put yeah Not just everywhere. It wasn't just, you know, it wasn't how it was done. It's when you see the roots of the hair on the tape and you're like... Do you know why it happened to me?
