guys hello and a welcome to another episode of your favorite podcast we hope nip talk yes right then we have had oh god we've had a week haven't we mate i am the overstimulation that i had probably for 48 hours after it was like a two-day bender it felt it did we had some drama um one day and it's all right we've worked through that now we're all fine we're all good you don't realize having a podcast guys like you don't understand you think we just do a little episode pop on you just sit and enjoy in your car it is non-stop there is always a drama there is always something that we need to sort out and we had like we'll talk about it one day but we had stuff going on and it consumed us for a couple of days didn't it and then we went to london

yeah in the midst of everything of all this oh my god by the way we are not i i'm gonna say it right i am not a london fit i am like the overstimulation the people the movement the quick everyone's fast quick yeah yeah yeah i i just wanted to be in my little hometown it was a lot i love it and once you've got out of the hell that is euston station like there are times when i sit around i'm like i could live here no no no no no i wish we'd had a small town girl this little life of mine i am i if you'd have had a body cam on us my face the whole time was just like i mean you can't see but it's like huh like i was it's like her brain as soon as we get off the train her brain switches off and me and christina were like bumbling around

dragging me around like lauren move out of the way on the tube always came to the right why have you stood still keep to the right oh god not for me so we went to london backpacks next time i still don't think i don't like the idea of somebody mingling in my bag yeah but from the back of me i think it's a way forward so we went to london we did you know we do work for this bloody job so i was about half five we were in we were at stockport station for like before eight o'clock yeah then we got on the train went to london and we did three podcasts in one day so because we're the voice of this and our our energy must be kept christina the poor cow is the one that has to like drag us around london like girls getting in she's power walking at the front with

a phone in the maps and we're just we've got a five minute break now we were just like because we take all our energy sitting down and talking so we did first of all we did a podcast with we'll say yeah when there's no secrets yeah sister I can't I've got a list that is hard for my mouth

to say Anna and Mandy are gorgeous lovely girls have a listen to them guys they're very like us aren't they

but more London and I feel like when we spoke to them we are more we're more not more older almost you know we're mumsy

but they were brilliant so we had a pod we went on their pod which was nice actually I quite liked that it was much less pressure that's the first time we've ever done that

I think is it i don't know oh we did second time we've done that but it was much less pressured and and we could have sat there all day like that was nice and then we were literally right and we were sweating and it was hot and we had to get to the next destination yeah then we went to a studio and we had a guest sally hughes yeah what when you said to her oh fuck off down sorry is it sally and she was like but that's because christina told me it was so then she goes to this lady right this lady comes in and now my name is pronounced it's

spelled s-a-l-l-i which is still just sally and and actually brought it into her head that it was sally and she went hi nice to meet you it's sally isn't it and she just looked at her and was like nope it's sally and i was like actually no it's it's sally it's just sally and she was like right okay um and she was amazing oh it was a very different interview for us because she is she was very she's she's a serious lady she's a journalist she's a journalist she's like a proper lady yeah yeah a professional very she was well groomed she was she wasn't like so eloquent eloquent she was so um elegant as well put together her her the way she spoke was and not she really thought about things when we asked her a question yeah and whereas we're like

she was everything that maybe one day if i grow up i would like to be yeah but i will never be polar opposite to me but just fantastic that episode should be out soon and guys like when i listen back to it uh when christina sends me the edit over i'm gonna list all of the products that she talked about because there's a lot there's a lot and like i have bought a couple of them over the weekend because i was like oh getting a hard-on over some of the ones that she mentioned and they have lived up to the expectations like she she was just fantastic and then so out she goes and then we had sarah who is i'm the problem on tiktok that i have to say for me was one of the most emotional most it meant like she was really interesting she was

and her story she just blew me away it was it was not what i expected it to be at all i had no idea the background of it it was so deep they will have listened to will they that by now oh well you'll know then um i get confused it was deep but she was amazing she was stunning so beautiful she's one of the prettiest girls i've ever met in real life me too and also lovely no her soul yeah she again was just nothing like me um really just pure yeah pure woman yeah so we did that and then we got on the train home we had a couple of wines didn't we first these two were like maybe we'll get a later train let's have another wine and we would have ended up out all night and i was like absolutely not get up and i knew what they were doing they were trying to make it so

missed the train and i was like and they were like oh we've got another and i was like we have not oh should we just get the next one i was like i've got an hour's drive when i get to say i've got 500 kids let's go so i marched us frog march the only time i learned how to check when the i actually showed any interest in any logistics was when we were going home and i was like i am going home i am done um so we drank wine out of a plastic glass um train home was busy on the way home yeah you two were tipsy on the way home yeah we were it was really funny actually we were we laughed all the way home didn't we like we were crying there was this poor man we were eating crisps and sandwiches and he was in trapped here on his laptop pretending he wasn't listening

spraying crisps everywhere and like gossiping and just crying laughing he enjoyed it i think we were like sorry if you've heard all that and he was like oh no no and i thought um so that was good but let me tell you a really funny thing that happened oh god i laughed about that so when we went to the 30 um part there was some communal toilets not communal yeah no not communal that means both does it can we just communal mean like communal means like anyone can use them and there was men and women and on the way in we were rushing we were on the minute so ashley ran in the men's um and it was fine leave me alone i've had three kids it was fine like we'd known was that any on the way out she obviously forgot that

it was the men's and just went back in that toilet me and christina are waiting outside and this man comes running was there by the way we're rushing this man comes running out of the toilet and he went oh man oh and he went oh bro bro and we were like what and he was like his face he was scarred he's like bro hands on his head and we're like what's happened then we realized and he's like she left the cubicle door open all right so he bless him had gone in for a week ashley's there cubicle door open bushel having a week and he ran back out and the fear in his eyes he had his head in his hands and he was just like i just heard them two scream i could not stop laughing because i've never seen such he was his hands was over his eyes he was like that's what he saw i know

like how bad is your vagina because he was literally scared and he was like oh my bro and it was just so and then she comes out pulling her pants up oh lordy no it was very funny um yeah but it was a lot it was a heavy day like it was it was and then we went straight into the weekend what happened at the weekend it was father's day and the yoru started too much and the golf is on at the minute as well so i had all that shite um i did the park run again and and i was going to tell you are you like a member of a running club so there's this thing called park run and it's a charity i think and it's really nice because volunteers volunteer for this and kids i think from the local area a few from the school every

sunday at nine o'clock there's a park run there's volunteers in high-vis jackets all the kids do this run it's like three laps about 2k a little bit competitive there's timing and it's just to get out like and we did it the week before so the boys did it and Thea now the first time Thea did it Thea is just me she it's mental she did one lap the first time and then second one I was like I'll do a bit with you so I went around and she went this is not for me that's literally all these kids were running she just went this is not for me and I was like why did you take her back she wanted to I was like the boys loved it I was like babe don't blame me it's fine like anyway this time round she did it this time with two of her friends from school were there they are more sporty

yeah so they all set off you don't want to be the last one so they all set off there's about 60 of them and um her and two little girls set off the boys smoked them anyway going round and then the first lap we're all waiting the two girls run past no sign of thea and i'm you know what you're like i'm like oh where the fuck is she yeah you're like then she comes around like where's mine yeah just after and she's bright red in the face she's fuming sweating she's going got a hand on her stomach she because i hated pe i hate running i hate i go to the gym for one reason and that's because i have to look at fever for a good 10 years i used to smoke So she comes around and she's like, I can't. And her mates have run off. And then I'm thinking,

no, we're not doing this. You're not being, no, no, no. And this thing kicks in. I whip my jumper off, throw it at James. I'm running. And I was like, come on, come on. So we set off together. I'm like, you can do this. You can do this. And her mates are right around there. And I've got this instinct that kicks in, this mother instinct. And I'm like, no. And as we catch up to our friends, they start running a bit again. They weren't the kids. They're not being mean girls. they're just kids so they kind of made it a bit of a game so whatever fear catches up they run again no absolutely not so this is what i do i'm like right take it easy now get your breath back they're gonna struggle soon they've been sprinting they are gonna soon and then we are gonna fucking

dust them so i'm like right get your breath conserve your energy i said the flagging the flagging right fear get your breath back when we get past them we are gonna sprint this is the woman who i don't run all of a sudden i am a marathon runner yeah and we start to catch them up and then i go right after three let them think you've calmed down let them think they can take a breath we're gonna get them so she gets closer and i'm like yeah we're just gonna walk for a bit and i went one two three fucking run she starts running i run and i then get in the way of anyone else ah like you you're the blocker i'm the blocker so gives her a head start and i'm jogging oh and i'm blocking left and right so none of the kids can get past me so she can get head start

yeah then she starts to flag again and as we come past the lap i go get your energy get your energy we're about to run past run and this poor kid and i just thought where does this come from i literally when i saw her struggling i threw my jumper at james and i was what's he called the mo farah i was off you saying i considered picking her up in the wooded bit running with her but when i went to do it there were helpers everywhere so i couldn't do it i was going to get her and run with her scenarios from playing i'm thinking this isn't happening babes and it just made me think like tell us what mad shit is well it's coming up to sports day as well so we want to hear your sports day stories dad have you ever done anything that's not that

you were probably a bit ashamed of but you do it for your kid have you ever cheated like in stuff like that i'm not competitive i don't care who wins i did them though and if i had to cheat for her i if it was monopoly and she wasn't winning i would hide the money and pass it i cheated in my gcses oh i did a bit yeah i used to write shit on my leg and pull my skirt up yeah by the way If anyone ever checks my GCSEs. And then in the English literature one, you used to be allowed to bring a book in with you. Yeah.

And I used to write all the answers in really thin pencil. Did no one check this? No. Really? Yeah, I did all kinds of stuff. I looked at science. I was really bad at science. And I do remember taking a little sneaky peek.

Oh, yeah. I used to do that. I used to cheat. Yeah. But I just think it's mental, the stuff you'll do for your kids and the way you get this like crazy, i don't know feeling in you to protect them so if anyone's got any funny stories like i would

trip another kid up for her lauren i would yeah if i needed to i would put my leg out i'm sorry i'll be going to sport so i'm just not like i'm not that moment if i can get away with it i will but no i it's like this i don't know it's like a mother protective energy isn't it that you get it's mental so if anyone's got any funny stories do you tell us yeah father's day father's day what should you do well i haven't got one so um that saved me about £2.50 on a card um do you know what i was talking to james about this and he he said to me in the morning he was like i know you're really hard-faced and all the rest of it but just let me know so i know will you will the day future yeah the day bother you like do i need to be and i for a minute i considered playing on

it and crying and crying and i considered being like it's going to be a tough day so i could get attention for the full day yeah that really looks after then it's going to be a tough day so leave me on instagram in my bed yeah and maybe you just need to give me extra attention but then i was honest with him and i just said to him i don't struggle with father's day one iota because for me when you lose someone you lose them every day for the rest of your life they're never there so it's little things that get you so one day for me it's just a day like it doesn't some people will struggle with it i don't do you christina no i don't and that's not to say i don't care i do but of care on other days like it's just if it was fresh you would have struggled probably yeah

probably yeah um but i did see loads of father's day posts and we were just talking about this weren't we um and do you know what's a tough one and you said this didn't you if there's a step dad like what's the line where do you go with it and i guess it's personal circumstances isn't it and i still think they should be appreciated for what they do yeah but sometimes i think some of the poster kind of to dig out the actual dad yeah i don't know and i just think if your dad's not on instagram what you're posting yeah but then but i don't suppose if someone's dad had just died and they wanted kind of to commemorate then i get that i don't i don't know i just think yeah social media is the wild west at the minute you didn't post anything did you no i just didn't feel the need

but um i did have to post i know i don't post my kids but i did have to post teddy playing goal I covered his face but he is so good and why did you feel the need to do that yeah I'm a walking contradiction what did you get from that I was showing off yeah um I mean you didn't post the it's running well it's all I could say do you know what she came out of 60 odd 40 that's not horrendous James's boy came third she went what did I come on me I was like girl yours hasn't come through yet four and i was like you're good at many other things and she's gorgeous so i was like you'll be fine yeah trust not that that's the only thing that matters no but it helps she'll be fine our rant we were having as well this morning about social

media okay so we had a real rant um i it started on friday for me someone sent me a video of a doctor in america everyone in america not everyone but there's all these social clips going around a lot of the meme pages are posting and they're like these these british girls they all look like 50 they fucking don't right and it's the pictures of the girls from love island and it's plastic surgeons white middle-aged men men and it was one guy and he was like getting the pictures of the girls from love island and his social media team by the way sack them please well the girl i think the social media team were women i think they were egging him on to do this he will have not thought to do it so so go on what is it anyway it's this guy and he's like stood there

plastic surgeon and he said picture of a girl she looks mid-40s she looks like she's had nose lips this like the other next picture of a girl all the pictures one by one of each love island girl he's pointing at them i can't even and critiquing their faces yeah and guessing what they thinks age they look yeah and then someone sent me one this morning that a doctor a female injector in Liverpool has done the same thing and I commented on it and I said please reconsider this post it's got undertones of misogyny and you know it's 2024 why are we discussing getting pictures up then the Jennifer Aniston one that's been flying ground as well where they're commenting on her under eye area Jennifer Aniston looks stunning leave her alone can you imagine what your head

would absolutely fall off if you open your phone and see that i think the main thing is these people especially this female injector you are a female you have a job in which you try and help people with their insecurities and try and improve or whatever tweak them to make them feel better how are you getting young women looking at pictures of these young women and saying i think she's had a bit of filibuster she looks about 38 why are we doing this it's first of all why are we saying about women's ages and how old they look why are we saying that to look 38 is a bad thing it's like the negative connotation with women's ages again and why have we not done a male one why have we not got the men why are we not doing this could work harder on his six-pack

got good abs but not great that looks like he's had it could do with veneers think he's had veneers hair looks like he's had it he's dyed his beard why we shouldn't be doing it to anyone full stop that we shouldn't be doing it to anyone but we wouldn't do it to men so why on god's earth are we doing it to women it's absolutely disgusting i was listening to a podcast a few weeks ago as well and it was about this whole she's on a zen pic she's on a zen pic and the lady on the podcast said male actors have been on human growth hormones for years no one no one gets slated for that in fact you've got people like jay rogan being like yeah you know human growth and and it's like looked on like they're like improving themselves and if you want to be on

a zen pic that's that's you that is absolutely fine if you want to get fillers that's absolutely fine too but we need to stop discussing how people look it's and i know this podcast is about surgery we have had surgery done again this weekend we've had someone comment on how we look numerous times numerous times it's almost like men and women yeah it's almost like if you do anything to alter your image you're fair game and i don't understand that so if you hadn't had phil and if you admit it yeah but if you hadn't had phil and botox would you say about somebody your nose is massive but it's all right to say you've got two big lips it's like if you've enhanced yourself in any way you're at your fair game to then criticize what you've done yeah in general we shouldn't be

talking about honestly this love island thing it's really upset me that woman literally pointing at women and saying she's had this she's had that yeah that she looks about 38 what are we doing we need to stop and we need to start calling people out and i i could have gone in like you bitch delete this but i didn't i want to educate people on why it's not right you know we love la la la let me explain if you read her book it's about toxic masculinity and about how we now need to break down everything because for our daughters this needs to stop like it's it's actually disturbing and it's disturbing that you can go on to thousands of people and think you are that righteous yeah and you have the right to comment on how they look and what they've had done

what they've not had done how old they are let's flip it would that lady that man i'm gonna leave a little bit because he's an idiot in america this feels more close to home yeah and it's a female which kind of hurts a little bit more because we should be doing better for each other would that woman like a picture of herself it might not be a picture she likes either they don't choose they probably look at somebody love island they're like shit not great angle of me but it's going out anyway would she like somebody to go okay i think she's had this i think she's had that and i'd say she's about 64 would that be would she feel okay with that or would that hurt her feelings just because they're on love island doesn't give them give us the right to rip them

to shreds i've been asked a lot recently as well by um magazines and newspapers to comment on stuff like that and i've said no and i think and in the past maybe i would have done you know because i didn't know but now we're educating ourselves i honest we have changed and we've come on a lot lauren i agree come on a lot and one of the things you know how so some people might say well it wasn't that many episodes ago that you were saying that you don't like the look of filler anymore and i that's that's a general thing about filler we're not looking at one specific woman and saying xyz about it we're just saying we have made mistakes with filler we don't think they look that great sometimes you can go over the board with them sometimes you can go too

much we're saying that about ourselves and about fillers in general yeah we're not looking at one girl or one man which she never is and and saying about them in particular and i think that's the difference here it's and we're learning i think one of the big things is yeah with this podcast if you were to listen to the early days ones and listen to the ones now we are learning as well we will have said things that perhaps weren't great in the past because we weren't educated enough and we're growing as women we're growing as people we're learning things as we go as well so i feel like we're not sitting here and saying you know that we've never made mistakes we all need to educate ourselves a little bit better and if we ever say anything wrong and

then we think back about it then we'll learn from it yeah and i probably have i absolutely will have done yeah I'm growing I'm evolving and now I think that it's good to be able to say like yeah I used to do that but I know how it feels and it needs to stop and you can choose to change and you know we've had we will talk about this in a couple of weeks time when we're ready but we've had a very difficult week and I think that it does open your mind up to feeling sorry for of the people that that happens to as well yeah i think it makes you realize when you have people talk about you or have an opinion on you i do think it makes you realize and i just think these girls back to love island when they come out how does that fuck your head up absolutely and people

can say oh they went in knowing they've gone in for the brand deal and maybe they have and maybe that's yeah and that's why we choose to be here sometimes as well yeah but i just think like oh it just doesn't it feels off doesn't it i agree do you know what have you watched love island i've watched a couple it's quite good so i've not watched it for many many many years i couldn't keep up but i have actually watched this series and um it's interesting so i don't know if you've seen and what i don't like about it is i feel like the men have got all the power in the yeah and the girls there's this one particular thing and there's this guy and he's picking which girl
