Galgar. so that cafe that we go to the feel good club it's called in manchester just by our studio it's a lot of vegan people going there so that's my flapjack that i had was vegan oh so did you know that honey's not vegan well bees make it so do they get like yeah so agave syrups from a plant so that's why it's the vegan version that's why they didn't I didn't have honey. I asked them about that. So Ashley has matcha with honey.

and it's a bit embarrassing in a way to be honest but i just thought i'd share it anyway because people like to know what the ins and outs are getting my bedroom decorated and um it's the long fucking process lots of it i've had to pay for of course all the tradesmen and everything but with this industry you do get some bloody perks and you get gifted i thought you were going to say perverts then uh they're welcome that too and you do get perks here and there and listen i'm concerned luckily i'm not famous enough so it won't that this could turn into a katherine ryan cake thing not no katherine what's she called katherine take cake the cake gate do you remember the katherine tildesley so that's what that's how it impacted it but do you remember cake gate yeah

it's similar that was so bad it's similar which is why i weighed up whether i should even say this but I'm gonna anyway um so I'm working with an interior designer she's fantastic Sarah Rimmer she's been dead helpful because I'm bad at interiors and one of the things that she was saying and her lady who does her socials is listen let's try and get you some gifted stuff why am I not gonna if you're gonna give if it's there are you gonna try and get it gifted of course you are we're human um yeah we'll only ever say yes to get it if it's something that we yeah or if I was gonna buy something anyway and yet people might be like oh well you shouldn't for free whatever but that's how it works you don't ask you don't get so basically i need

furniture i need blinds all these things and yes i could spend thousands or i could reach out to somebody and be like listen they do well you do well yeah you want to gift me something in return i will put it on my socials which obviously we normally people pay us for um and it will reach x amount of people that might be like oh lauren like for example my wallpaper that's not gifted i paid for it do you know how many people have asked me where that wallpaper's from i've sent them it and they've gone and bought it yeah yeah so it's it's a win-win however i also understand for some people they don't want to do that yeah also fine is this particular bed company all right now i'm not going to say the name because that is not nice and they do gift because they gifted

a lot i think they gift bigger people than me basically so we messaged a few and were like do want to work with us a few um i can't believe you didn't message the guy that did my bed oh there's too many i didn't actually do it do you still need a bed i'll tell you i've had i'll tell you after i don't know yet so some companies reply straight we're like oh my god we would absolutely love to because you're gonna post it and we want people to see our beds yeah yeah this particular one um replied and i'm gonna get the message up now so first of all it is really easy just to reply and say thank you so much for your interest when we don't we're not gifting or you're not going to follow we're not interested fine absolutely fine but if you don't ask you

don't get so we contact this company and they're a bit arsey and i get why they probably have hundreds of influencers asking for free shit so i do get it but just reply like nah yeah so or just ignore or ignore fine fine ignore anyway this particular company got into a bit of back and forth with this ladies and um they get into and they're kind of like and i probably shouldn't really be saying this they kind of three years well it's like jesus right can i just do a shout out to my bed guy though and i paid for my bed well then this is pointless um abc underscore upholstery 1985 he is this isn't a chance for you to push it this is my story no honestly and he's the nicest guy and he will make you any bed you want and he will make it you quick he's just done

three beds for me he's done all my other beds right you're just totally taking over my story under bed bit because oh mine's got an ottoman you have to have an ottoman you have to have an ottoman but then supposedly you can't really have them in the kids rooms why because they could unalive themselves really well don't go under the bed then it happened yeah right okay i'm gonna have to try and find it now i'm really sorry that i've just done this because i've not got it ready some i must say though some of the furniture that i've ordered off like online places it comes and it's not great right so well this is a worry so the interior designer sarah is actually going to look at some beds because i said what if it comes in it's crushed velvet so anyway let me tell you

the story so they're going back and forth and i said i'd do a reel for them which obviously we normally charge x amount for anyway they come back and they're like we're willing to give her a discount of i think it was 200 pounds discount well that was my face exactly so jade went back and was like really nice thank you so much however she normally charges like x for a reel or a story set however it will be so actually that's the full cost of the bed do you know like yeah and they're her rate so i don't think it'd work please listen to this reply we work with hundreds of influencers that all say they charge x for a grid post quotation marks i'm yet to find one that actually gets paid this as in i'm lying about right okay we don't need to

be featured on their page thanks we have our own following it would just be a selection of images for us to use on our own socials um of the bed dress to impress we really don't need her to post on hers how bitchy like so i nearly sent over my fucking invoices i was like what's her email oh my god lauren you're getting too into this no i just thought that was so fucking rude for somebody that is in uh speaking to customers and that kind of thing we we meet all these people that say they charge x we've yet to meet one that actually must have been burnt by someone's hurt her um so we didn't go with that company the beds are actually really nice but we didn't go with them um and i just thought you rude bitch what do you think that's really rude we've yet to find

I mean, if you catch me on the wrong day, then you may get a response like that. I think what's happened is they've had a million of them and people saying fake figures and all the rest of it. Fake, and I get that. But I just thought that was incredibly bitchy. All she needed to reply was, I totally appreciate that.

Unfortunately, it's not something we're looking into doing. I've heard about some influencers sending tampered with insights. Yeah, and that's fine. That is actually stealing as well. To be fair. can't do that like that is fully stealing who was it um we work with someone that gifts a lot of stuff and she told me about like stories of you know she's a smaller business she doesn't have

like contracts and stuff like that the bigger brands that we work with they've got contracts and some of them in the contract it says if you don't hit x amount you're not getting paid which is fair enough it's marketing for them they want x amount of people to see their product and she said that she gifted this girl like loads of items and the girl just literally like blocked yeah that's not but i think what annoyed me it was just the the insinuation that i was making up yeah being called a liar is the worst thing and that really pissed me off i just thought just reply and say no thanks fine anyway that's it really i just wanted to tell you that i was just people probably gonna listen like wow first world problems and i agree but we give the gossip

here and i thought it was quite interesting gossip so i thought i'd share it and people do often are interested in influencer world and how it works i've paid for loads of stuff but if somebody wants to give me a free dressing table and i will show people how nice the dressing table is because i wouldn't have it if it wasn't nice and then people want to buy the dressing table then it's a win-win but i accept it's not for everyone and for that particular person she did not want to give me a bed do you know where i got a sofa she can shove a bed up her arse um recently at the sofa club and they delivered it like literally the next day two guys came took the box away it's gorgeous it was a reasonable price i have a sofa place oh do you dg interiors okay

again this isn't paid or anything i've already had a sofa from them so nice i went to look at the warehouse lovely just lovely people and i thought you know what because you're so lovely yeah i am gonna just tell everyone about you because i think you're fantastic i'm not gonna yeah i'm not gonna i just think what a great service and i think you deserve for everyone to see cheap not cheap yeah well furniture as well but we've forgotten what that is oh there's too many yeah anyway whatever now the fit window cleaner we have just opened our phones this there is a fit window cleaner in oldham and basically started this new business tell them tell them the story though in the cafe this morning when you told me and i was like i showed

lauren this picture it's like for what you say the front of tone it down the front of um like an article on the article this guy and it's like olden window cleaner goes viral after women are throwing mud at the windows to get him to come and clean it and i've read it and it basically launched on uh social media his um cleaning company and he does window cleaning and all the women in the comments were like come and wipe me down yeah yeah we love we love lauren knew him so she shows me the picture and i was like i know who that is i'm sure he's from rochdale and i'm sure he's i won't say exactly what my words were but i basically said oh yes i recognize that man yeah basically nothing like that nothing like i don't know him i was like i recognize that man

he's a very attractive man he's basically i've got a window cleaner story so i think i've told this once like ages ago so basically my mum and dad um yeah lived on this road where they all had like a whatsapp group and which is a thing do you have that on your road there's a on my estate there is a facebook group yeah i don't go on it i've not looked i only go on if i want something like i'm not interested in helping any of you but if i've lost my cat you can help me find it people and stuff especially that is really and they say things like girl in gray car speeding down road yeah like neighborhood watch so anyway my mum um had this window cleaner where i can't remember because it was ages ago when my mum's on the pod will remember to get to tell this story

and basically um some he'd sent a picture to i think it was my mum or someone else in the group where it was his business card but in the background was his knob his full-on dick was out and he was stood naked what and then you didn't mean to well oh then like it came out where my mum was like to one of the other women like oh my god i can imagine a shower and then she was like oh he's exposed himself before in another way or something like that and then like one of them texted back like are you aware your penis is in the background and this bitch he was like whoops sorry my phone screen's cracked and they looked into him and he was like a window cleaner flasher really and having a job as a window cleaner it's very peeping tom yeah if you're a

mean we're talking about a visa i know they used to do stuff like that yeah and i think it was more to get the night known yeah um whereas now you i don't know i don't go out really so i don't feel like it's a thing as much but it was for luca anyway and i send my absolute condolences to him that looked i went red it was guys and as well like if you go to like magaluf and stuff they do like a night with like and it's like a party hosted by them um alex cooper actually does that doesn't she she does those spring break yeah but that looks like that's her thing isn't it her event as opposed to her getting i don't know it was just weird you've got to watch it guys any funny nightclub pa stories we want to explore them can i just tell you something funny i sent

and they used to do nightclub appearances a lot where it would be Hugh and his girls are coming tonight I would have probably gone to a Hugh and the girls yeah and then

they would get paid especially in like Vegas and stuff like that I think Vegas is still a thing yeah I think it is I watched Kesha in Vegas at One Oak once

oh kim kardashian yeah kim kardashian used to do that but i birthday party yeah but i don't think it's as much of a thing now because they'll get paid in other ways to do stuff on instagram but that used to be a like a big money maker they would get paid so much and now they can do it from home so why would you go if the era was like now right and you guys were who you were and you've got a decent following and stuff and the podcast is big and you were asked to do pas yes i would do it would you yeah definitely give me the money i will be there would you do it now yes yeah you could have a hoot as well but i wouldn't i would go and when i walked in i would have been money

and the whole thing would have been over. But yeah, I would. I would if anyone wants me to come and do a PA. Do you know what though? A lot of like, that's sad for the Love Island people that the PA stuff has gone. Because a lot of them would have, back in the day when it was like old Love Island,

as soon as you get out of the villa, you're doing Magaluf PAs, you're doing Ocean Beach, you're doing um all the uni and now you bring that clothing line yeah and that's not like well i don't know i don't know how hey can we hey guys can we talk about plt rebrand oh yeah everyone in patreon is talking about so i saw the interview with umar and stephen bartlett i didn't listen to it all but i saw the clickbait of him doing a little cry yeah i'm so skeptical i mean i think great i like the fact that he's come back on board and said this is shit we need to fix it and my name's to it and so i'm sure money's another reason but

like my name's involved in this we need to fix this i like that but i'm so skeptical nowadays of anything like that i just always assume they're all acting it looks really nice the stuff i'm not really have they changed the clothes yeah it's more premium now i'd say So is it more expensive? I guess it probably just evolved because it was all pink unicorns for the younger. Girls, let us know if you get any of the stuff

The girls on Patreon were saying my account is still barred from when they did that massive call everyone so basically they barred people with high return rate off the buying of clothes that sounds like somebody very much like the lady who did my bed reply who just had enough one day yeah and she was like there's more returns your blocks your fucking blocks and your costs of company like oh my god i can't even imagine how much it would cost

i can't even imagine how much that would cost all the returns but yeah i think i'm interested to see how they do um but what i will say is like the old plt style does that mean that we don't dress like that anymore then is that the point like where do you go for that kind of stuff or do you know because there's still an age group that want to wear those but i guess they're getting like adenola they're getting aloe they're getting that kind of like they're getting the more yeah because when you think back to when we were 20 in our 20s it's completely i used to get this it's completely different and like the skincare stuff like i've i would never have done skincare no not i'm not the cost that we'll spend now the cost is it costs us a lot more to be

normal yeah women yeah there's a lot of arguments as well um i know at the minute with skincare and like younger girls being able to walk into sephora for example and buy the drunk elephant baby facial that's very harsh and it's called a baby facial yeah and then the skincare influencers online that are like 14 15 16 and they want to buy the bright packaging and they want to use something with an active ingredient and then it's you should not be you and they shouldn't be using it's really scary but then at the same time i did an interview recently and they were like what do you think of the younger people getting into skincare early and i said i mean i was drinking glambrini in the park and telling my mum i was at a sleepover now they go to the gym do sound

baths and buy skincare it's all i agree i think the whole image thing is what they were getting the point of like caring so young yeah but we're gonna they're gonna care eventually so maybe if they start now it will stop you know the extreme procedures i still use my mom's skincare at 14 15 as well though i wasn't one but i was so obsessed i only started becoming interested in skincare when i started getting really bad pigmentation like not even that long no i would put any lotion yeah i've never been like fear's not interested as well there's a massive movement at the minute of people taking their eyelash extensions out their hair extensions yeah fake nails um all of those kind of things where it's like high maintenance things that we do to be low

maintenance because eyelash extensions don't know how you do it lauren it's hours the appointment because i don't i feel i have much choice like i literally even if i left my eyelashes for a year and i put fucking a ton of castor i threw castor oil in my eyes bathed my eyeballs in it and all the stuff i've got really i've just not got great lashes i've got tiny little follicles i just haven't got a good lash i'm not hairy as i've said a million times yeah even my bottom lashes the you can't even see them i'm so not hairy so for me to have that nice lash look i have to yeah whereas if i had a good set no we're talking about people that like can get the lashes then i wouldn't and they're going like cold turkey on the extensions and the lashes if you can give

yourself that good lash naturally yeah because i'm there tomorrow actually you've got an hour appointment it costs you like with your eyes closed which is anyway um nails i've only just recently started having my nails done in the last like 18 months i never used to i always have a nail um what else is your extension again if i thought i could get my own hair to a standard that i'd be happy with i wouldn't wear extensions i am really thinking of leaning eventually but haven't found a brand maybe there's a gap there for clipping yes if i could find good really good clippings i don't think i'd have extensions i'd whack them in whack them as soon as i got home hair would be up but that's maybe i have the hair we have clippings um and they were really good

i've not i've not looked really but i don't think there's a huge i do love the full look of extensions and lashes and everything though your hair is very thick but that was because it took me like after the baby this has taken me a year it's very i don't i couldn't i could do it all the things yeah i just haven't got the hair for that i haven't got the hairline or the phone as well we used to literally shove like double wear foundation shit loads of concealer now it's moving again into like if we do our skincare we can wear a tint and it'll take 10 minutes to have my makeup done i think it's a good movement yeah yeah i don't think there's anything i think it's a i'm glad we're going that way um and i do because i do sometimes think about fear like she's not
