can we talk about the first poo after a c-section the first actual one I thought it was okay what I was it was like I was giving birth yeah but I had that

three days in hospital and the women helped me what they pulled the poo out no they gave me a suppository and a oh my god right so i did mine and i remember thea's dad being on the other side of the door like almost like supporting me through labor and i was like i can't he's nearly there and it was awful i swear agony pure agony mine was okay well i'm glad to know your arsehole's functioning well yeah so yeah so we're recording at my house again if it sounds weird sorry we're just figuring this out we've done two apps from her and hopefully they're okay and hopefully we can give you more so so we're talking about money today um money money money this i'm blind first class if i hear that song one more fucking time g l a first place

kids and shit and then the worst one you only have young kids for four years stop mum's shaming me no so that

right what do they just disappear what happens after four years I'm telling me this I'm sorry girls I know some of you

have probably done some reels to happiest year of my life and that's fine no she's looking at me because you know that that four-year thing right so i have a big issue at the minute in fact i know we're very early primary school thing no it's not even that well okay i

think i have some form of um adhd we know this no some form of what's it called um separation more than that um connect there's a name for it there's an issue codependency so i think i have an issue with fear and i really do and i think i need to see a therapist i'm not gonna but do you know that that real thing you only have your child for four years so ridiculous that was horrible right okay so that goes around my mind ash all day horrible every not that but that thought but it's not true and don't listen to it no it makes me ill i know it made me ill that's why i said when i start thinking as women can we stop doing this it's starting to panic me and i've been like this since she was born because she me and her it's always been us from day one and we've got

a very different relationship than some mums and daughters have because of like what happened and stuff like we got left on our own and and anyone else will understand that we've got this thing anyway and when i heard that that's what goes around my head constantly and that's why i'm constantly in a panic that i'm not doing enough i'm not seeing her enough i'm because she's gonna get bigger and and fucking hell i can't turn back the clock no i can't but i wanted to go back again okay well yeah can we can we start with first class and i'm first class it was okay at the beginning but not now yeah it's done whereas we're wine um right okay so catch up i've not really been doing anything interesting well something happened you nearly got arrested

oh my god i've not even told you both she wouldn't tell by the way like we have things where we don't tell until we're all together because we want to see the reaction so we have a podcast reaction so basically this is what happened so i sent the girls last week a picture of me right surrounded by police didn't i ran my car marked unmarked and they were like what's happened lauren i was like i'm fine i'm gonna tell you on the pod so anyone want to know what happened to me this fucking week go on so i'm driving along right and um i wasn't concentrating i was singing along to my music literally wasn't i'm i'm miles away wasn't concentrating i pulled up at the car park where i normally meet thea's granddad and thea and as i pulled up again i really wasn't

looking so i pulled up it's a random car park no one would ever be there it's the back of some flat dogging site um and i pulled up look to the right there's an unmarked police car there with this man and i was like oh look to the left i'm not kidding there's a marked police car next to me i thought looked in the fucking rear view there's two behind me and one coming around the corner i'm like so i said oh it goes well in the window down i went hello yes can i help you honestly my arsehole was where they fit the police man no my arsehole was twitching you know a police man once asked for my number when he was on job really it was on halloween you should have taken it because and i was dressed up as a cat you should have taken it because if you'd ever done

anything illegal he'd help you out not that you would um but i probably would so um anyway i'm looking i'm looking to every way around and i'm surrounded by police right so i got out and he went is this your car and i said yeah it's my car when did you get it but about four weeks ago because i've changed my car did you feel automatically guilty i i and you know me i'm quite ballsy my ass fell out right and they were quite rude and i said to him you're intimidating me now i said those words that's something you'd say you've learned that off me i went you're intimidating me now i'm stood here and i went why did i say this like it matters i went i'm about eight stone wet through oh my god that's so funny even i wouldn't say that i'm not and i went and

you're all intimidating me now come on calm down but it is intimidating and also can i just give you girls some advice um that i once had to get legal advice um and the solicitor said if ever you are in a conflict with the police like speeding we're talking about right you have to get out of the car don't let them stand above you this is what it was like and talk down to you in your window because it makes you on not the same level as them so you have to get out and stand up to say to him excuse me i'm getting out of the car get out and stand up to your eye level right so they were looking down on me and i was thinking it is it's it's a psychological thing yeah so intimidating and um anyway long story short they made me get out the car they said basically the

register so i've just bought a new car to me it's not a new car and the reg has been printed incorrectly no one's fault genuine mistake however the reg that i've got on my car is associated with somebody that's heavily wanted right so they're ringing back up and i'm singing we're flying first driving down the motorway i didn't notice that more with a lollipop didn't notice that there's more i'm doing my lip gloss in the mirror more and more and honestly there was a team there was a helicopter because they thought i was like wanted so i was like well it's clearly not me and they were like well it could be and they were still really nasty to me can you show us your documents who you were insured with i don't have them i don't know

ask my dad he's dead he's dead that's my boyfriend oh wait that's my husband oh wait um that's my baby oh wait so basically and this is what i end up saying this is what men need to look after you yeah exactly so anyway i was like i don't know who i'm insured with of course i'm insured i don't remember doing it i do it i probably did it when i was mine actually is sheila's wheels is it i think mine's a viva anyway so all this happened turns out they knew i wasn't but as this is happening thea's granddad turns up so my ex-husband's dad is that a good thing or a bad thing no didn't do anything drives around the corner neutral with neutral because he probably thought she what the fuck she done now turns around comes around the corner with fear and i

am surrounded by police and i was like that's my daughter i need to speak to my daughter so i went i was like mommy's really scared of the police yeah so she was scared i was going mommy's fine it's all fine this big dramatic scene anyway i went back over and i said look it was all sorted it wasn't actually my fault it was fine and he was like look you need to be on top of this a bit more and i said yeah well i could ask my dad and he went yeah and i went well he's dead i pulled the dead dad car and then i went and my husband yeah yeah he left i swear i lost my head and he was like i'm sorry too but i said so i'm trying to do this on my own anyway long story short it was all fine oh my god my mom always embarrassing if you ever get caught speeding say you've left

your kids packed lunch at home because she's got off with it like so you're gonna say you've left your kids at home because i don't think that way um and i'm like what like 3 a.m like yeah i left the patlips for a lot of lunch um but in all honesty i have i've got out of it two times out How? Oh, she knows the people. No, I don't. I've just literally been like, I'm so genuinely sorry. And when they start saying, like,

a child could have ran out in front of an ice cream van. You start crying. I'm like, I'm so sorry. Can we talk about vapes for a minute? Right, I've started vaping when I'm out, and I think I'm some sort of absolute... Like, I blow... When people are recording videos, I blow smoke and stuff.

But are you allowed to do it inside? i've not been out for no but it depends who you know oh really yeah no what i do is put my head under my head and put my head underneath the bar or underneath the table toke on it and then come back up again covered in smoke like i'm doing nothing smoke coming out my nose hey wanna come to the toilet and vape with me oh my god don't i'm vaping now um yeah so can i just say vaping has contributed to my weight loss massive do you think it has because you because you've got the hand-to-mouth action oh is that it yeah yeah is it that tribal eating i believe so really that's wild um right okay so

we're talking about money today so we're gonna lead in with something that happened to me and i told the girls a little bit but not too much um we've saved it didn't we we've saved it so something happened to me um whereby i can't say too much because it's a really big brand say it i'm not saying the name of the brand okay i'll say what it rhymes with no you can't lauren will get screwed okay she can't say lauren's i'm not looking at charlie charlie's like cutting charlie's like no you can't say it okay i'm not gonna say like can you imagine if our editor didn't actually like work for us or love us like yeah i'd be looking at i'd be like fuck it let's say it let's say it will be cancelled cancelled absolutely um right so anyway so i had a job um and i was

nine months pregnant how many weeks was i like 37 it was it was big yeah and it was to promote a new range of pregnancy active wear i mean who the fuck's active at the end of the pregnancy anyway let's be honest here anyhow i'm actively needing mini eggs um so yeah i wish i hadn't have done this funny of them as i did but anyway um long story short the brand said to me they wanted me to come and i've worked with them before and our agent shout out megan love you um she was like it's up to you if you feel up to it because i was quite bored at the end and i did quite bored mate the stuff that you were thinking in your mind was ridiculous you were so fucking bored sorry so i did need to get out of the house you needed to go and it was nice sometimes so she

was like right yeah um i do it you're not gonna lose anything but they're not paying so i was like okay fine fine i'm not fucking she said they'll pay for your driver and they will give you the outfit the pregnancy yoga outfit um so i was like right okay fine so the day before anyway still hadn't been paid for the driver or the outfit sent them a message and i was like where's the outfit where's the money for my driver i however would have walked there and not said anything this is why i love ashley because she's got self-worth value and we're talking about that this is why we're leading in with this okay so anyway the event um comes around and i'm like where's the money for my driver it was literally like 100 quid and where is my active wear which i'm going

to make the most useful for a few weeks so anyway neither were here and they said back to me oh hey we're not actually paying for anyone's drivers you can however get your petrol receipt and you can get changed into the outfit when you get here so why are we going right like what are you getting make it make sense like i'm not fucking for free i don't do that so i said to thank you very much i'm politely declining then one of my friends sends me a picture of another influencer it was so funny honestly that was on her way to the event in her active wear in a branded car that they had sent her so they had they had very much and this girl doesn't she got paid as well of course she did she lives like down the road from ashley right and she was in a branded

like luxury thing and she was posting like she was in a private jet there and ashley got offered petrol i got offered petrol receipts i got petrol pennies so um i i wouldn't have cared but you were pissed off but do you know what though we did speak to our agent about it and she was like no like you can't do that to pregnant people so in my head if i'd have arrived there and i know this girl as well like I would have had a chat with her and also like being pregnant you all sit down together like and you can talk about it and I would have said to her like oh how did you get here you know I had to park in an underground car park and crawl here and she will have been like what do you mean they didn't send you a driver and at that point I would have got the

you would have swirled her no not her the people of the event I know but you know I would have kicked off i would have literally like had a dirty protest in the middle of the place like i would have gone into labor again i would have been so i would have i would have kicked off but i didn't go and i found out after so i sent them an email and i was gonna out them on instagram because i feel like it's that bad to treat pregnant people this way can i tell you but a brand no like how can you be representing pregnant women and being like all wholesome and then treat a fucking pregnant person like that why are you pregnant you're not ill lauren stop it because you've just said in another episode it's so bad how women have to get

no what i mean is i what no what i disagree with in this particular instant right is the fact that one person was given a certain treatment and she was nowhere near as pregnant as you yeah but she has over a million yeah so shut up then mate no but i was so angry about this it went on to the point where so me and ashley how many group chats are we in three three or four so we're in yeah we're in three or four group chats and she told the fucking story in every chat and i had to listen to it again and again and then we had like daily updates on what was going on and they've not replied to me i thought you need to have this baby and have a wine did you are boring as fuck but i do understand i mean i wouldn't have been that arse but you can't treat one person one way

just because they've got a million followers whatever and then another pro pregnant woman and you were very pregnant but i would have understood if they were like right well we're paying her we're not paying you but it was the whole driver situation and they don't put any care into it i was probably about 15 20 weeks more pregnant than the other person and they could have just said both you pregnant bastards get in the car but he didn't think that far and that's their organization and i've had a bit of beef with that company prior from the gym thing oh here we go go on ash tell us the gym story i've only heard it four times i was a member of a gym long story short a man asked to suck my toes in the spa

it's not funny guys ashley's so so serious about this right and i just think it's i'd be like go and then lads suck them but ashley is so offended by this it was an old man and he was disgusting um and i was like really rude back to him i was like no like no you are not sucking my toe so then um i got out of the pool and i went and told the girls on the desk after he'd followed me around for like 10 minutes and then he was stood in the glass doors and no one did anything about it so i got home and i spoke to my friend about it and she was like you're a mother of a daughter you need to tell them so i wish you spoke to me about it i would have been like listen he wants to suck your toes you've got nice toes like offering money offer pictures for money and they wouldn't put

me through to a manager and they were like just tell us what it's about because our managers are really busy and we need to know like if it's legit or not so i was like well actually i was sexually harassed in the spa and um they forgot to put me on oh this is the funniest they forgot to put me unmute on the phone and they all started pissing themselves on the reception desk and they were like this girl's just rang up and her old guy has to suck her toes that that riled me up actually the old job that we used to do how many times did we do this but the fact of the matter is it's excuse me and i i found myself saying things like it's 2022 guys anyway okay so there we go so what you're saying is know your value know your value yeah and i do have you ever had time

to when you've walked out on a job because they've not paid you enough or anything no i am i take the piss out of it but it is a good thing to have as a woman to know your value to know your confidence To have, to know what your basic rate is, to know what you, yeah, and I do, I do, I take the piss out of it because I say, oh, well then, but it is something that I aspire to be. Yeah, to have boundaries. So do you remember that job that we had and I walked out? Yes. And it was because, basically, we were working for fuck all. At one point, at some point.

Yeah, no, but at the beginning. At some points we were working for a load. The base rate was fuck all. Their base rate was bad. So if you didn't hit your target, you might have worked your arse off. And they had you because you didn't have a pipeline for a good first six months. So everyone that works in sales, you have your base rate, as in bare minimum. It's shit, normally.

Yeah, yeah. Then you have your commission. And that's how they decide who's hungry, who's not. And we were very hungry. Oh, honey, I was starving. And we did really well. But basically, to get a mortgage, I was trying to get a mortgage at the time. and they had this rule in place where if it was your first mortgage they couldn't rely on your

overall salary with your commission which is fair enough because who says that you're going to earn that every month exactly so my base salary was not a lot yeah but with my commission say it was it's not a lot yeah um and i kept saying all of my reviews in this job please can you up my base salary i don't care if you cut my commission they wouldn't do it they wouldn't do it and i was like right well my life isn't progressing anywhere because of you because i can't get a mortgage so then one day i got mystery shopped by a competitor so that mystery shop basically means somebody comes in pretends to be a client really they are headhunting what i want to know is why didn't they come to me well they must have only mystery shop me or they must have thought

you were shit do you think no maybe anyway i just got lucky okay um and it was a big competitor and they came in and then they sent me a message and they were like we need to meet up for a coffee you need to come over here and i think they tripled my wage in a day i handed my notes in and then i got like how much how horrible were they it wasn't pleasant at all it wasn't pleasant the way they did it but you did the right thing you moved on and i remember after you'd gone them saying something like oh she's gone to work for xyz fucking good luck with that she'll never be this that and the other that's the kind of place we used to work in um and actually you went on to well do fantastically yeah i think that but it's because you knew that you had the confidence to

think i don't need this i'm gonna move and also it's black and white on paper what we're earning girls don't take less than you are worth right but i have to say ash so this is another thing that caused some controversy within my friends and it was when we discussed money and um you were saying about people's basic wages and stuff like that and my friends were like well yeah it's all very well you and ashley sat there saying ask for more ask for more it's not that easy those jobs aren't always there we'd all be earning more if we wanted to now to a degree i agree with that yeah to a degree i think well i did it yeah nothing when i started when i was 18 i was a beauty therapist you can't be on the same salary for two years and i moved yeah with look at

inflation this year it's fucking crazy how the fuck are you telling me i'm still gonna get in my car drive to work do what's your alternative you need to go in and you need so the first thing to do you're gonna need to discuss this because i'm shit at it right okay so girls if you're in a job and you want to progress or earn more because you you are you need to be good at it the way that i have always managed to do this is i have had something else lingering in the background so you need a linkedin profile you've never done this and i told you to do it years ago because there is a headhunter you wouldn't be sat here now with no money no i'm not saying that I know what you mean.

If you've got a LinkedIn presence, and at first, like, when I got told to get one, I was like, well, why? It just means that headhunters... But people still use it. ...all the time. Wow, I didn't know that. I still get messages on there, like, really good opportunities. My LinkedIn picture is, I am, it's me,

it's when we went out on one night, I'm, like, 22. Right, so have a professional-looking picture and make sure all your keywords are right in there and you will get really good opportunities. and they might not be right for you and you might not even want to leave your job but being able to say to your boss like going in there

and being like just letting you know I've been headhunted for this, that, the other you can't just rock in there and go I deserve another 300 pounds a month and I think when we last spoke about this it sounded like that yes I think people were thinking like

oh yeah great I'll go and tell my boss I want more money but that's not what you were saying is it you were saying put yourself out there yes say let them know you want more how can i make more yeah you i guess it's one of those where you might go and say look i want to earn more how can i and that's the thing with me like i've always made what i do a niche so that's why my name is on instagram because i just i'm like

i live breathe like everything i do is what i do and i honestly think you need to not work to live like you need to work to enjoy i agree with that absolutely and you do something you enjoy as well we wouldn't do something we don't enjoy it's been a long time since i've thought i don't want to go to work today i've got a friend at the minute that's in a job and with someone that she doesn't like either of those things and it's soul destroying for her if you think about how much hours you spend at work and with your work colleagues this is another thing that i have to say if you're working with people you don't like oh no yeah this has to stop right so i'm torn on this one because i believe it's easy for us to sit there and say you should be doing this you

should be doing that you but it's not that easy people say that it's not that easy just to leave your job but i also believe that a lot of people sit and complain about the job and do fuck all about it if you're sat there and you're not enjoying your job there's a way yes and you're not enjoying the people you're with and you are also not every day sat on grafting on yeah grafting looking for other jobs exactly yeah then i've got no sympathy for you i have sympathy for people that are trying work did that audit on our computers and they were like oh my god you've been sat on read yeah so they were like they did an audit on the computer as she'd been on like fucking selfridges or something assos and i had been on indeed indeed what it's called looking

for jobs but i never like i wouldn't have left we must have been that good that they kept us after that we did some really bad shit really bad do you remember when we used to throw tangerines out the window that was so bad so what we used to do we were so young and pathetic when people used to walk past we used to work in deansgate right in the center and we would open the windows and we would get the this the peel that's horrible it's awful but i'm gonna tell everyone anyway if someone did that to me i'd go mad it's funny though we used to get the peel off a tangerine and we would hold our hand out and as someone was walking we would practice dropping it and you had to drop it at the exact time and know the fall time to hit them on the head it was only tangerine peel but

Me and Ash used to do that in our office. Haha, and you didn't sack us. So basically, work-wise, like, do something you like or do something you hate but make loads of money off of. Yeah. If you're making a lot of money on it, then I think it's worth it. Yeah, I agree. You've got to find that balance.

I think money as a woman is really difficult. I think it's really difficult because especially if you've got children, you're pulled in so many different directions, but you have to be really savvy with it. A lot of people ask us how we do what we do. Most of my clothes that I will buy, I would say 60% of them are used designer. Yep, yep.

I don't buy much new designer. No, Depop. Depop. What's the other one that you use? Hushlux, Elite, Vestiaire. All of those kinds of things. And also, I'll resell it again after I've worn it. This is the other thing.

You have to be savvy. Keep it on a rotation. You have to be savvy. And I think a lot of people are not savvy with their money. And what savvy means is... I'm not just going to buy something for like 500 quid, wear it once, leave it hanging in my wardrobe until it's out of fashion. Sell it. Yes, this is the difference.

It's being savvy with your money. And one of those things is making sure that when you're spending your money, you're doing it in the most sensible possible way. So when you spend money, as we know, money goes out. But if you know that you're going to then sell that on on Depop for half of it. And lose 50 quid on it. Exactly. Then it's worth it. But there's other things as well.

like we have recently um which you've probably seen on our instagram we've been working with a with a brand and it's really really interesting isn't it it's like an app yeah so it's a brand called we shop and they have an app and we were introduced to them luckily through one of our friends weren't we and as soon as we yeah she's unreal as soon as we heard about this we were like this is quite interesting so if you shop which we all which we all do um you can be savvy with how you shop in ways that you can get shares back now it sounds complicated and when i first looked at it i was a bit like but we met them a few times and actually you know we don't bullshit you girls you know we taught the truth and if it was something that looked weird we wouldn't do it

but we started chatting to them we thought this is actually brilliant so they're sponsoring this episode as well because we've worked quite a lot with them but you know we don't talk shit you need to listen to what we're saying so you can also like shop for your favorite things and then also put your recommendations on there and get cash back you get like shares it's not cash back it's shares in other people's purchases so have a look at it we shop it's very interesting it's weird it sounds it sounds complicated it really isn't so one of the ways to look at it is this if your friend is wearing a top and it's gorge and you want to buy it and it's from asos let's say for example if you go on the asos app your own asos app and buy it yeah or you recommend it to your

friend you both spent your money you've got nothing back but the top however if you buy it through we shop then you will get a share back of the company it sounds a bit complicated but genuinely isn't you're getting something back every time you shop and the only thing you're doing differently is you're doing it through the we shop app so it's a little bit like if you've ever seen like a cash back app where you buy things and get cash back but instead you get shares which actually long term is a better thing and it means that you can then do things with those shares it's actually really interesting and it's something that certainly i've been looking into and i think if you're going to shop anyway which we all are then why not shop through an app

that gives you some shares back as opposed to shopping through an app that doesn't it's like google all those kinds of things they get money every time you search don't they whereas this is giving you the shares no other brand so one of the ways to look at it as well when you're online on your instagram you see loads of times influencers putting links up as we know we're quite transparent with it they then get like a little bit of commission or they get something back for it it's kind of like that but you don't have to be an influencer to get it back you can be anybody you can be sat there with your friend and recommend a certain top a certain book and you're going to get something back and they also get shares back so it's like being an influencer in your own little

mini world so guys there are loads of different places on there that we shop from every day there's Selfridges there's ASOS basically pretty much everything you can think of and if you are interested in becoming a founding member it's not launched just yet but you can send us a DM on Instagram and we will get your details over yeah we'll get them to you because as well I do think the amount of people that they let on at first I think it is going to be slightly limited like you've got to get there early because the fact that you're getting shares it's a big thing you know that because say you think about how much you spend a month if you were getting shares on that it's a lot so they can't let everyone in so we're going to do a bit of it we're going to learn

more about it and we're going to tell you about you know we don't talk shit so we're only going to recommend something that's worth it leave it with it sometimes oh my god are you joking i talk the least shit um so we're going to find out more and as we actually know more we will we'll tell you more because i think it's good yeah so we talked just then about like pre-loved designer websites that we love but you can like rent dresses so say you're going to like the races or a wedding and you're only going to wear something once but you want to look incredible there's loads of companies that you can just rent a dress from and you can rent your dress out yeah so say you buy a dress that's expensive or a handbag or whatever or even better

someone else buys it for you yes guys and then you can rent it out and make your money back it's all about being clever like you might look at i'm gonna say ashley i'm gonna say you might look at ashley and think oh my god look she's got designer this designer and absolutely she has she lives a wonderful life however i know her very well and she's not splurging yes she's not splurging she will get her money back and i'm the same i've just sold a coat of fears and it took me fucking asian irritating i had to go to the post office but i'm in it to win it because then i'm gonna buy something else with that and the way ashley works she will get things off depop she will get things second she will then also sell it it's about being savvy not being stupid no and

having money and blowing it but being clever with your choices 100 and you are you're like me we will graft yeah and we will go to the post office five times a day if necessary and i don't care like it you know when people say to me like how can you be bothered well all right they don't but you've got 100 pounds to spend on something else then to list everything on the same day so you have one day you sit there and get it all sorted like 10 20 items on put them on at a reasonable price and then it means you are going to the post office with five or ten i agree and then what i do so what i tend to do with these things so if you buy designer bits for your children always a good one i've got i buy the burberry coats for example and then i will sell
