Starting point is 00:00:00 guys hello it's that time of the week baby settle on down because here is nip tuck not giving a settle on down strap yourself in let's go the mum episode oh my god that went really well didn't it we got such good feedback i feel like they're gonna take the pot off us um i really enjoyed doing it and i think they were lovely weren't they they were really cute and everyone seems to have really liked them um i i've not looked on tiktok is there anything no i'm not because you can call me all you want don't fucking say anything about my mum my mother my mother because i will literally find addresses out like don't yeah ma my heart would break oh my god that is like one of the best comebacks when people go your mum your ma your mum or um the the new one
Starting point is 00:00:50 that i like is stuff um where it's like your fella your fella does instagram dumps yeah like that that's funny that's very insulting isn't it yeah it really really is excuse me oh my god i've got terrible wind wind or i don't know i don't know are you taking like gaviscon and shit do you know what i haven't got heartburn yet which is weird maybe it's bald oh no i could do with i like bald babies yeah saskia came out with like loads of black hair thea had loads of black hair and then went blonde which is weird i'm hoping i don't know i hope there's some hair when i last went for a scan she said there was some hair so i wonder what color it's gonna be i've been thinking about this lately i think now it's getting a bit closer i've actually been thinking like
Starting point is 00:01:33 what's it gonna look like because thea was so dark hopefully it's not a rat or a person you gave birth to in your dream oh yes that's some weird thing hopefully it won't be that i'm just like is it gonna have i'm in my head it's gonna have not loads but a bit of dark hair but what if it comes out blonde i can't imagine are you showing it on instagram yeah yeah yeah i will i don't really know what my plan is with that um i don't know i will see how i feel like will i leave it a few days then but maybe i don't really know but yeah i'll show it because i show fear and it's part of my life so i will show it the only so the only question mark i've got is will i i think babies in my opinion everyone's different are babies and they're with you like all the times
Starting point is 00:02:24 and babies aren't that recognizable i think it's more when they get to like five four five if i was to stop it would be like then yeah but i still haven't stopped with fear so no i think i'll i think i'll show the baby i i'm gonna post this tiktok on patreon actually that i was watching last night and it was this girl just like talking straight to the camera yeah and she was like hi guys i've had some content ideas and i want to get your feedback right and it was like i did a poo in the night and then um and then i you know pooed all over the back of my top and then i was sick on myself um i went to the toilet three times and i missed one of the times and then people laughed at me and it was basically like would you do that it's it's a mum filming a baby right so what she's
Starting point is 00:03:19 saying yeah yeah and she was like you wouldn't want yourself filmed doing that so why yeah it's like when they post with the shit up the back and it's like like you wouldn't post yourself was to up your back or throwing up i kind of get that oh no there was one and i was a bit like and it was like i have a serious medical condition and without my consent i then share every step of the journey about my medical condition yeah do you mean like like accounts where the child has got you know like you say a serious medical condition and it's showing them in hospital and it's showing i get what you're saying when it's older what if it didn't want that disclosing i do get that but at the same time i feel like is it so that other people are aware yeah i know i'm kind of get that
Starting point is 00:04:04 and i kind of get like if there's another mum going through that they can see that that's happening i suppose so i think it's like listen i'm yeah yeah it's just like a question mark i will um i'll share it on patreon the tiktok and i'll let you watch it i won't do i can't imagine me taking pictures of poo because nobody wants to see it no one wants to scroll through instagram that i'm gonna be really honest i think that's not yeah i don't think really not on i don't feel like anyone wants to see my baby's shit so i wouldn't post it also like that's not fair on the baby as well like they're helpless like yeah i get what you've never thought about it like that to be fair because i've always just thought well it's a baby like i wouldn't care if you showed a
Starting point is 00:04:43 picture of me doing a shit as a baby but i don't i don't think i would yeah i wouldn't no but the thing is though with the internet now once you've put something out there for years and years and years and years to come this stuff's gonna keep like it's so weird because none of us know yes like what the consequences of this particular shitty baby then went on to be a hollywood star those shitty baby pictures are still available whereas they weren't with us it's like we're influencers whatever now but there's no pictures of me are you you know like these accounts where it's like the mum heavily features the kids and they've got like their own personality online are you then also ring fencing your child into a certain box from a very young age yeah of what
Starting point is 00:05:28 their personality is like and making them fit to your size yeah i think that's a fair point i think i don't know how my instagram will go but i don't think i would ever be a pure mummy account just because that isn't really me but i think the child will feature like thea features when it suits but it wouldn't be about the child if that makes sense have you got your photos i've done nothing okay i haven't booked any pictures i haven't booked any maternity pictures i haven't done anything actually you're going on holiday as well quite quickly after so i need to talk to you about how to register the birth and sort the passport out quickly so we've got planned we haven't booked anything yet because obviously i'm gonna have to see how i feel but the baby will be about six
Starting point is 00:06:13 seven weeks old i think you're gonna need to register it straight away yeah and then i was thinking about a passport shit how quick am i gonna have to do that i've got a little trip for you guys so i took teddy away when he was five six weeks old yeah how was that fine because they don't do anything um what do you think about germs though at that age he'd had his vaccinations i made sure what age do they have them i can't remember he'd had like his first two sets like a puppy they can't it was it was it was like under like it was a few weeks old like maybe like six eight weeks can't remember off the top of my head and there was still that backlog from covid of everyone's passports had gone out of date yeah i remember that and basically i think
Starting point is 00:06:56 it's not as bad anymore but um at the portland they registered the baby in the room of course they do that for me that is just one less job that you that uh-huh um so on like i love that three days a week a lady comes to your room and she registers the baby and then gives you the birth certificate there and then but what about then you can't do the insta post where you go down on your prom and you put a picture of you registering the baby's birth that's a that's another you know that's like a i know but it's another reason to leave the house with an it's like that is another you're like a dad carrying the thing that's another one the registering you can register as soon as you give birth that's what you need to give your mum or
Starting point is 00:07:40 james the job of doing going online and booking the appointment you probably get an appointment within like two weeks i'd say go and register the baby now with the passport if you go on the passport office website yeah at one minute past midnight right they release all the appointments oh do they so then and you're up doing your night to be fair ed has done both of the little ones for me um i just booked him an appointment in liverpool at the passport office go straight there i had the pictures i gave him the folder of all the bits he went there and he came home with a passport oh did you take the baby nope no oh okay and you just have to get a picture of it a little yeah yeah blobby face yeah that was hard i went to johnson's dry cleaners in knoxford maybe when
Starting point is 00:08:31 you come and visit me one day we'll go and do that job and they're very helpful in there and they've got like a baby blanket that's all been cleaned and they put the baby down and take the picture take the picture of his little squishy oh my god when i show you saskia's first picture is it not good Thea's wasn't great I thought she looked fantastic but when I look back now
Starting point is 00:08:50 I'm like oh god I remember saying to her how weird is it you have a passport for like six is it six years yeah so we would take her on holiday
Starting point is 00:08:56 I think it's five so we would take her on holiday at four years old and we would show the passport and it was this isn't that mad baby with a big squishy face yeah
Starting point is 00:09:05 that is because that could be anyone any baby that is a fair point actually but let's not change it and it's weird how they're in black and white do you know guys
Starting point is 00:09:12 like this is a PSA so many of my friends recently have had passport issues can i sorry go on go on go on with ripped pages my friend was going to sri lanka with her boyfriend thousands on the flights the queue up they've got the backpacking stuff whatever you and the queue up and turkish airlines would not let him on because he had a rip and it wasn't in the pages it was in the body you know that the hard bit yeah called it was in that it was a rip and they turned him away they had to then rebook flights and they tried another airline who actually happened to let them through so i did not realize that a ripped passport is such a ripped passport or any marks any makeup um one of my
Starting point is 00:09:57 friends had like some fake tan on hers and they said no um basically she got through and then like on the plane and when she got to Portugal they were like nope not allowed him I tell you what and another one of my friends
Starting point is 00:10:13 had this boyfriend that was a severe druggie and he must have been that off his tits one night that he cut one of the passport pages
Starting point is 00:10:21 to use to like to roll a joint wow no oh to do something yeah okay
Starting point is 00:10:27 really severe and it was just like a cut and she was that's when she split up she was like yeah I would have thought that's probably have you noticed
Starting point is 00:10:36 recently there's a big flex on having a good passport picture so yeah loads of people are like posting them on their grid and shit yeah so basically obviously your passport picture used to be a joke like you don't laugh at each other's no no no no like molly may did a really nice one didn't everyone's doing that now so people are doing the full-on doing a full-on ua yeah yeah yeah they turn up and the pictures they look stunning on them but it's like a thing now and then they're taking pictures it's like a flex to have a really good passport picture or is it used to be like and that'd be funny but no not anymore you're not like you're not allowed to smile mine's all right this time because i to be fair put makeup on when i did it and i made sure i looked
Starting point is 00:11:13 all right mine's okay mine it's not great but my passport because i've had that much work done um it doesn't work on the barriers no do you know i know a girl that was nearly it doesn't work on them and and you know when you put it through and you're looking and it's like no no no i know a girl that got stopped in turkey i got stopped and they were like this is not like are you have you got like credit cards on you and stuff and he was like what the hell and i was like nose job browling yeah it's just do you know the girl i know got stopped from going into turkey for that exact reason because she'd had a lot of work done and she put the pictures up and to be fair it didn't look anything like it like nose job changes everything like and eyebrows right
Starting point is 00:11:59 Are you even just doing your brows? And they said to her, this is not you. And she was like, trying to get surgery pictures up to show them. She was like, it is, like, yeah, that's a thing. Yeah. So there we go, guys. Right, I had a rant, didn't I? Yeah, but you need to explain it to me because I don't, I didn't,
Starting point is 00:12:13 you said that you were going to have a rant, but I didn't know what about. Okay, so I went for a nail appointment, as I do every two weeks. I was having my hands and my toes done. Nails are so expensive now as well. mine aren't minor so i paid 110 pounds i have biab on my fingers i think um and if it's a french it's 30. that's very reasonable but i live in a reasonable area so i guess that's the difference um so anyway i was in there and child in the nail salon about four years old running boy running crashing loud noises um spilling things screaming uh laughing like playing right not sat not
Starting point is 00:13:06 behaving not sat um and it was a monday afternoon and it really really annoyed you yeah but what if the mum didn't have help and needed her nails done like I would piss off five people no bother if my nails were hanging off and I couldn't get babysitter. I would never take Teddy into a nail salon because it's not fair
Starting point is 00:13:31 on everyone else. But what if you I would take Saskia into a nail salon. Because she'd sit and chill because she would sit and I have done it before so I'm not, guys this is all circumstantial yeah yeah yeah and we are mums of young children
Starting point is 00:13:47 so i am not mum shaming at all it just pissed you off but what upset me was like the it's it's a monday at 12 o'clock like it's not as if it's like i don't know a weekend where yeah yeah there's not like options and yeah um and it's because i am a busy mum who is often surrounded by screaming children that was my hour and a half to get out of the house it cost me a lot of money so what you're saying is it's not the child that's the problem it's the fact that it was a naughty child yes and she didn't discipline and you should be a responsible mother knowing if whether your child cannot a situation is appropriate or not i totally get it and it probably would be irritating especially when you're away from your own screaming child but then i kind of just think
Starting point is 00:14:34 but what if she didn't have anybody to give it to and she needed her nails done can we allow it or should she i get what you're saying i just think that's like spilling the the girl's nail and was she not telling it about the girl that was doing the nails and it was like she was just like laughing not not like it was there was no like serious like right we've got 10 more minutes if that was me i'd be that mortified i'd be like forget it there's a chocolate bar here or yeah do you know what guys this is how like and as well this let's have this conversation because as a new mum I didn't have help with Saskia and I had to take her literally everywhere with me again I will always help a mum with a new baby because I have been there a screaming baby in
Starting point is 00:15:24 the nail salon would not upset me at all because you don't have another option and because they're a baby can't like pick them up or whatever yeah I'll always go over and do a bit of a pram rock or say do you want me to put his dummy in or can I help you push it somewhere yeah exactly and um i was once in sainsbury's i remember this oh my god it's gonna make me like cry and i was pushing the baby round yeah put her in like the trolley and she just screamed the whole supermarket everyone stares at you don't and i was like i had no sleep i was like oh my god and and no one probably even cared no but i literally abandoned the shopping trolley and walked out right so now what i want you to think about is this lady with her child four-year-old
Starting point is 00:16:16 a four-year-old and she is going on a date and her fella's left her and she's desperate for nails well she can get child care for the date okay she's not going on a date then she is just desperate she feels really shit about herself i'm just being a devil that she desperately wants these nails done so she takes him in the salon and thinks i just hope he behaves he normally behaves and on this occasion he does not behave you don't care you just want he just wanted him to shut the fuck up yeah i get it i can't get it they're annoying i've been there like boys are worse anyway on patreon we all had a good little chat about it i missed that and it's weird because i'm always on there but i totally missed that chat so what were people's opinions i took my baby
Starting point is 00:16:59 not long ago thinking she would be fine and she was absolutely not oh i wanted to cry yeah blah blah blah um there was a three or four year old boy recently at my appointment and he was like this he then started putting his whatsit fingers all over my louis vuitton bag which was on the floor i think if you can see the mum is embarrassed and trying her hardest don't judge but sometimes people just don't care about anyone else but themselves fair enough which you know i wish i was more like be respectful but i'm caring about myself and i wanted 90 minutes of peace um now this is a big one i've got a lot of friends that are salon owners or work in salons and in aesthetics actually as well would you ever take a kid with you that was running around to an
Starting point is 00:17:49 aesthetic i've taken babies with me no we've had um i remember when i did lip blush there was a couple of people who would bring the child in and be like it'll be fine and it would be running around reception and it's an insurance the thing is there's a part of you as a mom that thinks oh you poor cow you just need your lips done you've got no help clearly or you wouldn't be in that position you don't want to take your kid you've had to for whatever reason so there's a part of you that thinks that then there's another part that thinks i've got other customers this is a clinical environment people have come like you say they've paid a lot of money they were looking at the kids with side eyes like what the fuck so i think having that rule no kids yeah do you know
Starting point is 00:18:24 what it's becoming a lot more common now the no kid rule yeah yeah um i've got this guy that's um a hairdresser on my instagram he's absolutely hilarious his name's like alex christopher oh he he takes no prisoners how funny i would be scared to be his client and it's like he puts up that greasy hair yeah it was his friend to be fair but he's like when a client comes in like this he's got all greasy don't come in with greasy hair don't come in no i'm scared you'll be turned away yeah but like i get it it's his time it's his money if you don't like it don't go i follow him he's very attractive very handsome very handsome very handsome um and yeah like i think it is rather than there are kids allowed or there are no kids make it clear it's either you know
Starting point is 00:19:14 you're going in and kids are allowed or you're going in and it's with this is a no child policy So I go to Spectrum, and obviously Katie's been my friend for many years, so I guess it's different, but there's been times where I've had to take Thea, and they've been absolutely amazing with her. That hairdresser is different, Lauren, you can use your hands. Yeah, yeah, yeah. In a nail appointment, it's actually unsafe. Yeah, you're right, to be fair, you can't,
Starting point is 00:19:40 if it runs into something and smashes its face, you can't, and then that's on the shop owner who's going to feel awful. And then it's probably going to take the lady that's doing your nails longer, and it's way longer. yeah no i think if you can avoid it i would if you can't but um it's case by case there's a really funny meme remind me to post it on patreon it's something like when my client brings a kid and they say the kid's gonna be fine and then it's like that goblin thing like totally and then it's flying around yeah sometimes so you think they're gonna be fine and then they're
Starting point is 00:20:12 how can you not yeah so maybe if you're a salon owner have like a kids are welcome what do you think about that let us let's let us know from a nail person's point of view because i bet they hate it i bet they hate it but again they probably feel really uncomfortable like they can't say no because you get to know your clients quite well as well so i reckon quite a lot of people probably get put in a really uncomfortable position where the mum just turns up with the kid and they're like for fuck's sake but it's a long-term client remember when we worked at maya and we used to have to turn people away with kids i remember at the beginning we'd kind of let it off a little bit and then we were like absolutely and i took great joy because i used to think why are you bringing
Starting point is 00:20:47 your 12 year old to an appointment when you're getting out your breasts and you're talking about surgery or you're finding in front of and it should be like they'll just sit there and i used to think it's really fucked up i think yeah i remember thinking that is a private thing and yeah and it's pushing it onto them almost yeah i remember no no um someone having and they were talking about this and the kid was like a 12 year old girl and i remember thinking i just don't think it's appropriate for them to be seen anyway um speaking of mums we're very mummy today we were having another debate so guys when we talk about these things it's never like we think that it's always like an open debate we're not saying we're right and you may disagree yeah we had a chat and
Starting point is 00:21:27 we couldn't decide could we about well you say what it was it's like a flat tummy thing so i've got a couple of people on my instagram and no shade by the way we're literally having a debate debate because we are all the same on this we're totally torn yeah so there's and and it seems to be a bit of a trend as well yeah nine months in and nine months out yeah that's yeah that's the thing that people do and they hold the baby don't they yeah cute right i mean i wouldn't ever i'm whatever like whatever um and also do you know what if you've worked your ass off like postpartum you've looked after a kid and you've got your body like and you try you are happy to take a picture fine you do you hon you do you but there is an influx and i don't know if it's because i'm
Starting point is 00:22:17 perceptive because lauren like my best friend's pregnant yeah so you're kind of noticing it you your other friend as well um and i'm really and because i have you know had this before but it's like they post a picture of you know the night before they gave birth say and then they'll go on a photo editing thing and put in the photo next to it of three weeks or two weeks later and then it's always oh wow i can't believe how amazing the female body is but you're like and i look at that picture and i'm like i looked like shit yeah when i was i've got a picture i'll send it you just because i've still got mine from fear you know yeah i've got a picture of me three weeks postpartum and my you still looked quite pregnant i look pregnant for about six weeks yeah
Starting point is 00:23:09 and i'm my face is like this upside down smile guys i'm gonna share it on patreon i'm gonna to share the picture and and if i'd have seen these pictures when i was like that yeah that would really and i think i did and it would really upset me so go into my debate right so there's two ways to look at it and and i've actually seen so there's this girl and i saw it and it went viral and this is what got me thinking about it because i read the comments and basically she was saying showing herself i think it was four six weeks after and she looked better than i did before even having kids and it was a before and after and she's like so proud of my body and how my body has bounced back blah blah and the comments were really divided some of them were like um
Starting point is 00:23:53 this is not fair this is not realistic it's not realistic it's making other women yeah but then the other comments which i also agree with were it's your realistic it's your real that is her body that did happen to her it's she's proud of what she's achieved and if it have been somebody getting hold of their big fat belly and wobbling it about would that have been okay so it's like it's like almost body shaming the other way around so it's like you can show your postpartum body if it's fat and you don't look good that's okay do that but you can't show your postpartum body if it looks good but it's not up to you know what i mean that's no i agree and also then we got talking didn't we where i was like have we all been that fucked in the head
Starting point is 00:24:39 off instagram where we now just sexualize every single woman's body and assume she's doing it as a clout as a burst trap yeah and it's like i don't know honestly guys i personally if i have the baby and see this right so this is quite a good example of it uh there's a girl that i follow and she's amazing and she's lovely and she showed her postpartum journey and she showed herself like a few days after the section and she still had the tummy and all the rest of it and she's shown the progress and actually a part of it she's not gone back to normal yet but part of it's quite nice to see and be like ah so it's quite normal oh and it did go down and so i get why she's shown that but if she'd have gone down a bit quicker would i then have thought it wasn't okay for her
Starting point is 00:25:25 to show the journey am i only okay with it because she did have a bit of a chubby belly for a few weeks whereas if her body had gone like is it all right if you don't look great but if you do look good we can't show it do you get what i mean it's almost fat it's almost shaming bodies the opposite way around where you have to look bad if you don't look bad you can't show us i think whereas really it's just some people go down quick and some don't but i love the fact that we're showing it so with me when i've had the baby will i show i probably just won't show it i think you'd put it on a patreon blog oh yeah so that people can i don't know but if i what if though i go down really quick can i go flat really quick can i not show it anymore now what i planned do you think though
Starting point is 00:26:04 that it's just mostly like the intention of putting it on instagram and putting it out there rather than like if you snap back exactly yeah if you snap back fine that's that's that's you know you can't help that you can't help how your body is but if you posted it on instagram it's seen like you're gloating or if you like like you said if it's the other way around yeah but let's say i have made a decision now and i i've said after this baby i'm going to do a blog on patreon which i may well do and i'm gonna and i'm gonna show my stages and i'm gonna show you what i look like at two days at five days and i'm going to do that and i've dedicated it right if it comes to it and i look fucking great am i not allowed to do it anymore no but on patreon people can choose
Starting point is 00:26:47 whether or not they want to read it and they know right it'll say lauren's blog trigger warning but What if they go on it thinking I'm not going to look good and then I look great? Is that then offensive? No, no, no. What I'm talking about is... I'm hoping I will, but I'm not saying I will, but... There's a lot of YouTuber mummies.
Starting point is 00:27:04 That's fine. You've gone on YouTube to watch that video. Right, okay. I mean, like me, mindlessly scrolling and, oh, like... But is that their fault? Exactly, I don't know. I don't know either. I think there's a lot of people
Starting point is 00:27:18 who aren't influencers doing it, though, as well. No, the people that did it weren't, yeah. Yeah. I don't know I don't know how I feel about it because it's kind of almost like you can only show it if you don't look good and if you do then now you're not allowed whereas we wouldn't think anything if she still had a big tummy and we wouldn't say a word about it but because she's got a flat tummy you can't show it do you get what I mean like if I was to do a blog and I actually look better than I thought would I then think I can't do that blog because I look too good
Starting point is 00:27:45 I mean I'm hoping that'll be the case I'm gonna ask something controversial how do you feel about people posting like really sort of out there breastfeeding stuff on instagram fine it doesn't bother me one bit it doesn't bother me to be fair to be perfectly honest and i haven't breastfed and i won't be breastfeeding and it's not for me uh no but then again so again is there a bit of it like i don't want to see your tit yeah like fern mccann does it a lot i didn't want to see your tit without the baby and i don't want to see your tit with the baby it's when you see i don't mind the baby's head being there but it's if the nipple it's when you can see that the baby yeah actually that's a fair point so if i was just to take a picture of my nipple up close
Starting point is 00:28:28 with the teats and everything and just post that we'd be like oh i don't want to fucking see your nipple but if a baby's attached to it it's how you can't say it's still nudity that nobody asked for and breastfeeding is the most natural thing in the world yeah but that doesn't mean i want to see burst but that's a fair point i don't want to see your nipple anyway so why do i have to now see it and again but then have we sexualized nipples when they're there to function i don't know do you know what i mean like it's just a body part like free the fucking nipple showing the nipple is good for people that are perhaps struggling with breastfeeding they're like you know i get that side of it but at the same time if i'm aimlessly scrolling i didn't want to see your
Starting point is 00:29:09 nipple so why do i can i not say that because it's a breastfeeding thing again it's a question i don't i don't know it doesn't bother me but i can understand somebody might think i didn't want to see your fucking nipple thank you just because you've got a baby hanging off it doesn't mean i want to see it now i don't know i don't i'm i'm torn again another one let us know your opinions on on that i've got nothing against breastfeeding i don't care but what i will say is i do and that's again because nipples are sexualized you know if someone's breastfeeding like really openly i can't help but look i mean i can't help it i want to look i'll look at the boob and i try not to look don't look don't look don't look um saskia's fascinated with it they keep saying to
Starting point is 00:29:49 me yeah she asked you to suck yours when you were pregnant or anything yeah and she goes like well i i sucked your boobie when i was a baby and i'm like no you didn't and you're not sucking And then, like, but she loves lying on my boobs. Does Thea love that? Thea loves that. And she, like, the other day I had a hoodie on when I was reading her story, and she was like, take it off, I want boobie time.
Starting point is 00:30:11 And she just lies like that. Thea calls it warm skin. Yeah, yeah. And she wants her skin still. And then she always has a little look at the nipple, and then she'll try, and I'm like, no! Thea, I remember. Trying to latch on at six years old.
Starting point is 00:30:26 Thea said to me about that. She's obsessed with tits. yeah thea thea likes my chest and my skin i think that's like a comfort thing isn't it because i like james's warm skin as well and when he when he's in bed if he wears a t-shirt to bed which is very rare i'll be like take it off because i want to get or i put my hand up his top because i want to get skin skin yeah and then i guess that's like a normal but yet oh my tits oh my god i put it on patreon the other day and i was like girls i don't know what to do all of a sudden like my boobs have been burning and really sore so i just had a look and i gave it a little squeeze
Starting point is 00:30:59 it made me feel physically sick all this stuff started colostrum is fantastic it's very good it's amazing and i wrote on patreon because i wanted some advice from everyone because i know you're not meant to syringe it harvest it till 36 weeks so i think you can do it from earlier it says online nhs says 36 weeks in case you go into labor because it stimulates you You buy a kit off. I can't be arsed. I would. I tried with all of mine and I couldn't get any out.
Starting point is 00:31:27 When I squeeze it, it just dribbles down. Yeah, but that's fantastic. Save a couple of syringes of that in the freezer. And when the baby gets even like eczema or anything, you put that on, they get a little sniffle, cold. No, it's not. It's the human body and it's fascinating, Lauren. It's called liquid gold.
Starting point is 00:31:48 colostrum is a part of nature and you are so lucky to have had that i tried all different things to try and harvest some colostrum i was going warm baths i was putting those hot things and i couldn't get any out my bra is stuck to my teeth in the hospital as well they came around and tried to get some out um maybe i need it's just grim i i not not the actual stuff sitting there my boobs just squeezing it and it makes me do you know when you see a cut like a blood a cut and it knocks you a bit sick if the only time this does it with me is if thea hurts herself someone else to do it then do you want to do it yeah should we do we need to order it at the the colostrum harvesting set can you milk me yeah you'd oh you would love that i squeeze it and it comes out
Starting point is 00:32:41 fun day hour we could film it couldn't we love that for us yeah so my boobs yeah it is it's and then i started panicking thinking is my body saying baby's coming because obviously i'm not ready yet some people have it from really early on yeah well the girls on patreon were like listen it's fine it can happen really early but i'm not meant to squeeze it apparently when you do that it contracts your uterus it stimulates everything yeah so i'll leave it a few more weeks and then you can suck it all and is there any other colostrum uses i know there's a face cream that's got colostrum why don't what if i got it and rubbed it on my face yeah like i think that would be really good as well oh i'm interested in micro needling oh i couldn't need all the
Starting point is 00:33:21 colostrum it's got like really to your face oh my god fantastic needle it all everyone's always asking on patreon like what can i use with my when i'm needling lauren's colostrum i might sell it ashley how often do you prioritize your pleasure oh i always come first especially in the bedroom honestly though it's so important to prioritize your pleasure and beducated is so invested on helping people to learn more about female pleasure specifically oh lovely now we've spoken before on the podcast about beducated and we love it it's got hundreds of different courses all about sex and intimacy guys there are so many different ones you can choose from you can do them solo or with a partner loz come on what are some of your favorites you know we speak about

Starting point is 00:35:09 also get 14 day money back guarantee if you're not happy with it just head to beducated.com now and use our code nip tuck pod thank you to beducated for supporting this episode and guys tell us everything that you've learned oh my god that's spencer and vogue post right interesting i think it's quite clever yeah i think that's really clever whoever gave her the idea of that tell tell the audience so basically she posted a thing and it was like um it is with deep sadness that i tell you we are not breaking up because supposedly i've heard rumors about them for a long time but she press outlet she's saying that in that post like she doesn't know where this has come from and why people are saying this outlets are being um like quite negative about
Starting point is 00:36:06 their relationship but again we know with press is clickbait they're gonna hold on to something and if you keep clicking on it they're gonna keep doing you know what the maddest thing is and it's frightening how the media can literally change your opinion on a celebrity like that look at the blake lively stuff we were all like oh blake poor blake next thing we were like oh blake's a bitch yeah yeah and it's all because of what they what it's if you actually think about it this is on a celebrity scale i'm not getting illuminati here but this is on like a celebrity scale what else are they doing to us with everyone they've done it with food haven't they yeah what else are they fucking our minds with you have to like take everything with um because on patreon people
Starting point is 00:36:47 talking about it right and i saw a girl saying and it's quite the thing that everyone's been talking about is the fact that spencer didn't publicly support jamie lang enough because he didn't put enough on his instagram how do you know he didn't ring him before during and after the fucking thing and send him this and that and how do you know but because the media have kind of made it a thing and i know loads of people on page like i feel really bad i feel like he didn't support him i'm not interested well i'm not either but how do you know that he didn't support him and then everyone's got this negative view on spencer and then all of a sudden spencer and vogue and and you can go from being hero to everyone thinking you're a cock my friend did her eyebrows
Starting point is 00:37:26 and they said she was absolutely lovely i've heard she's absolutely lovely so i've met her and she was absolutely right there charlotte skinner dress yeah used to do her skin somewhere and mentioned to her that she absolutely loved i might get this not exactly right but a scarf she had on and she was like oh it was only such when she next went in she bought her the scarf so and it was you know it wasn't but how lovely and i remember i've heard joanne's fucking lovely it might not have been it but whatever it was and that's the kind of thing that is really kind but if the media choose to make her out to be a bitch you better believe we're all gonna think she's a bitch within two weeks and it's really frightening it's really isn't it and it just makes me think what else
Starting point is 00:38:03 are you poisoning our minds with yeah so i don't look at much like that though we were gonna and we still might actually like there's this paparazzi that we wanted to speak to yeah because it's now there's so many laws did you see the annie kilner stuff annie kilner with this when she put the stuff so um again patreon thank you guys bring it to us i hadn't seen it i actually we know those yeah yeah don't we i was talking to myself costa that day when i told you so basically annie put a picture and it was out outside annie kilmer's kyle walker's uh are they married yeah yeah um and it was outside of her window i think she was in a shop it looked like yeah and the paps and we knew who they were the manchester black she was in her gym i don't know what yeah right and
Starting point is 00:38:48 the pictures of them sat on the curb outside with the camera literally like lingering and she wrote something like this is what i have to deal with waiting around and they clapped back horrid and put a picture of her and tagged her and said something like we wouldn't the only reason we want to take pictures of you is because your fella keeps cheating on you oh i would want to punch them yeah it was not kind at all at all and the thing you have to remember is and again i am not saying if you're famous it's okay but she isn't an influencer she's not a celebrity she's not she's just married somebody so i feel like that's very different to somebody who who has chosen to get the perks of being a celebrity and being in the media and and then unfortunately like it or
Starting point is 00:39:38 lump it with that comes a bit of a negative stuff as well where you will be followed for pictures but you can also sell those pictures so yeah um this woman isn't she's just a normal person that's married someone and the fact that she's been cheated on or not that's i was really shocked by of that yeah i thought that is not and they have put me right because i'm normally dead nice to those men yeah because we see them quite a lot don't we yeah and now i think oh how mean how fucking mean awful that isn't so mean and also like with the whole like press stuff like i don't know so now i don't think they're allowed to like say xyz is pregnant they'll be like instead they got the blossoming or something like that so i think that in the good way they can't be like
Starting point is 00:40:22 we've heard a rumor that because that's your medical like the other thing i couldn't believe and i've heard from like friends of friends that are in the industry is how much doesn't go to press like how you can pay stuff off yeah so how many things like scandals that are complete like drugs well they get they get like those super injunctions yeah and they pay them off they say right i'll give you x amount that you would have got yeah for taking this to press if you don't yeah so it's amazing the more powerful you are yeah the more hidden everything can be your face mate right it's taught right so if for those look at how much it's gone you look great for those who haven't seen and have missed it ashley had a treatment done the other week and
Starting point is 00:41:10 literally it was frankie's doing a reel of it was unrecognizable afterwards great clickbait for a reel um completely unrecognizable and everyone was like ah what have you done even my friends were texting me so basically she looked like unrecognizably swollen yeah you should she looked like something else and people were freaking out now i i know it's i think because we're in the i looked at and thought oh god that's awful but i didn't think any my friends were even texting in the group chat they're like what's asha done is she okay and i was like yeah she's just i got so many messages it's not that big a deal um one girl sent me a message like you you need to take steroids because this is very bad and i was like
Starting point is 00:42:00 no i've had laser so tell us what you had but the thing is maybe lauren and i are so we're just so numb to it right okay so i had co2 laser on my face which does what i very very very very much favor these treatments so i do my cosmetic consult peels i do that myself at home because you can um so i do one of them a week then i also go for a treatment called ipl yes we love ipl it gets rid of pigment it gets rid of veins ipl either as a standalone treatment or you can have it as part of a treatment which charlotte at skin address does the photo fabulous frankie also offers that treatment i go to steph at new skin in limb for that right so the ipl will target redness veins broken capillaries and because i'm so fair i have got a lot of them ready and because i've had my
Starting point is 00:43:00 face done it's broken a lot of them capillaries when they stretch up you'll also notice this after you have babies my pigmentation is your hormone or changes you either get pigment my pigments awful at the minute or you get um broken capillaries and redness and also guys you can get them i get mines that around my nose you know from sneezing i get them around my nose i've got quite bad ones in my nose but with the ipl you have to keep on top of it and it hurts yeah it does now with the ipl downtime the day out a couple of days bit dry tiny bit dry nothing no biggie does hurt does hurt really jumpy ow ow and the light and not nice no anyway then um the co2 laser is totally different uh it's not like a chemical peel it's a lot deeper than a
Starting point is 00:43:51 chemical peel and it what is it how do you do it it helps with pore size texture my scars from my face um it tightens the skin to a certain degree it helps with skin quality thickness so when you get older obviously like wear and tear of like sun all the things it will just make things a bit smoother now i had the first one all over my face in covid do you remember yes i was like years ago then we've had it done on just the eye area i had it once on the eye area and was the same my eyes i'm gonna do it again after the baby it feels like someone throwing hot oil on you it's not nice it is not nice and you can smell the burning skin it's unpleasant so i had it all over my face and just about to hear halfway down the neck and i knew what was coming because it hurt during
Starting point is 00:44:49 yeah but not that the numbing that frankie put on was very strong and what does it just for anyone like interested is it i actually can't remember is it like ipo it goes like do move to the side do move to the side do is it like that faster and you can see the skin it was over in like 10 minutes right but i needed codeine afterwards like and it was itchy on day three so basically then you've also got your micro needling that you can do that will help to a certain degree but this treatment goes deep it goes deeper than any at home thing you can do it goes deeper than the ipl it goes deeper than the reef surf x on the photo hence the swelling it swells from right deep and i went to liz um contour did she do some lymphatic yeah and i think that i did the right things after
Starting point is 00:45:45 so i keep getting messages like right after you've had it done i've booked in i've booked in i'm going to get it done what tips do you have antihistamines i'd start taking them before to be honest um codeine for that night or a strong ibuprofen and codeine mix um then recovery balms for afterwards that senseless kit that charlotte gave me was amazing and i've been putting my calisium and antiage stem cells pouring them all over my face and we turned a corner yesterday and i woke up not quite there yet on the chin do you still feel it but you look normal um and i can't put a full beat on yet no because you just not worth it how long do you think somebody needs off work if they're going to an office job let's say because a lot of people
Starting point is 00:46:34 work in an office to be on the safe side four or five days yeah depending if you're asked about having it done on a well no i couldn't have couldn't have gone into work with the big head i mean if you just sat at your desk i guess it depends you wouldn't let me pick her up from school i had to get sarah to pick her up from school she was like mommy no and then she kept going when will it go down but that must have been really traumatic that's really traumatic what did i have done and she just kept looking at me side eyeing me like oh it was worse than the facelift yeah like so about four or five days yeah frankie said she'd had some messages off people really and they were like i don't understand why you've done this to ashley
Starting point is 00:47:15 her skin was perfect anyway now guys and and it's like i've got i do all these things i love it i love skin i love treatment i like burning off my face i will continue and like i said this is different to anything else it goes deep so you're going to have to expect people sometimes are sedated while they have it done or they do it in facelifts don't they a lot in facelift in in america they do it while you're having your face done and i think at coppergate they do it while you have your eyes done you can have it under your eyes yeah how much is it they know my friend who's just had a blast and had it under her eyes as well at the same time as her upper bluffs yeah but listen for our age i'm gonna do all the things do what the fuck you want because people want you
Starting point is 00:48:00 to do it so you can report back you can't have it both ways you can't follow you to get tips and too far this time ed was very ed said too far too far james when i did my eyes james got upset he got upset he kept looking at me and being like oh too far oh he called me a hound basset hound your hound or something but but listen no but you're not telling anyone else to do it if that's a bit too intense for you hon stick to your microneedling fine yeah if you want a bigger result go away with your open paws and your lower lefts if you want to be like that fine then that's you and how often how you're hooned how many times do you think you'll need it uh i would say just top up as and when some people go like every year for it but like i said i'm
Starting point is 00:48:51 really good with my at home treatments and i do my photofab and all the little bits and bobbins so i left it a four year gap i am after the baby for the full face eyes i'd do two so i've been toying with this right because i was thinking the best time to do something like this is postpartum when you're hiding but then i thought really can i be hard our friend um like with a newborn and looking like that i think the depression would hit our friend has just booked i just think you You know that four-day baby blues and then looking like a hound. I just don't think I've got it in me.
Starting point is 00:49:29 You ain't nothing but a hound. People coming to visit the baby, they're like, moons. I just think I want to enjoy that period after the baby. I don't know if I'm ready, but it is a good time to do it when you're off work anyway. Guys, like, wow, bing, bong, boo.
Starting point is 00:49:42 But has anyone tried that fruit coated in chocolate yet? Oh, that everyone's talking about the strawberry thing? Yeah. No, are they good? What's it called? I can't remember, but people do talk about it. My friend, I met up with my friend for lunch yesterday and she was like gagging to get to the booths in Knuxford
Starting point is 00:50:00 to get some more. It's like strawberry with chocolate around it. She said the raspberry ones. Are they bad, good, bad? All right. We need to ask Tonic. I bet he would say bad. I love things that are yogurt coated.
Starting point is 00:50:12 I think you can get yogurt ones too. I love them and they're not that good for you. They're not full of sugar. Can I just do a little appreciation as well? the garnier sheet masks are fantastic and um not expensive so you can use them literally they are bloody brilliant they're moisture bomb ones yeah and sometimes on amazon they're on offer for like a pound if you keep those garnier moisture bomb masks in the fridge or take them on holiday with you well i saw somebody on patty um and she was saying girls i'm going in for a section this is
Starting point is 00:50:47 what i've already planned can you think of anything else i need and she had face masks on there i didn't even think about i took my i didn't even think about that pop your sheet mask on after the baby all these things that we do now that i just would never have thought of how nice like the anesthetic makes you all dry and gross pop a little sheet mask on sit there with your newborn what do you think about putting them all on on a plane because i do do that is your face dirty look you clean it so what what i would do yeah i would get on the plane clean all the area i always when i go on a plane i take the mini death hole wipes and i clean my whole area do you know who taught me to do that naomi campbell um i don't do that so i clean everything
Starting point is 00:51:30 like the the the tray table the handles yeah but you get so ill off airplanes i've never done that and also people are fucking disgusting then i'll take all my makeup off and then i will put a sheet mask on i did um a video when i went to the moldy and i did exactly and it was lovely i took all my makeup i didn't have any on actually so i cleaned all my face i got a cleanser clean and then i got like um you know toner pad so you know you're getting your face really clean then i put a serum on then i put a mask on then i put some lip balm on oh when i came off the plane i was like one of my um customers actually messaged me saying she did a night flight and did all of the routine and put her cosmetic consult on and she was like my skin didn't get that dry no and also you wouldn't
Starting point is 00:52:19 get the clogged yeah very good yeah good idea very good holiday thing yeah and then i always put like loads of lip balm on and then i take my contact lenses out because they get too dry you can't honestly there's nothing worse than your eyes worse and when you we you wear contacts as well we're all blind um but you know like sometimes if you're going to paris i'll sometimes do my makeup at home put my contacts in i immediately regret it on the plane yeah it hurts your eyes are so dry and you're falling asleep if it's a long flight so you kind of eyes are shut and then they go all sticky you go all sticky and then do you not think you've got like a film over your eyes for the rest of the day where everything's a bit blurry i hate that so i always take my
Starting point is 00:53:02 contact lens teeth whitening strips also lovely we've really digressed here but i do think well like i said i've started now okay so this is a clear square makeup bag um and inside it i bought a selection of my favorites that i can keep in my car so i've got my mitchum deodorant yeah absolutely not natural no um but for the middle of the day desperate to not smell um then i've got my favorite lip liner then i've got my got to be glued uh hairspray because got to be glued hairspray is my favorite hairspray in the world interesting so you know when i wear a slick back that is i i go through do you not put um wax like a waxing on nope got to be oh that's good to know brilliant no honestly brilliant and got to be now have done these mini ones perfect any girls that do that
Starting point is 00:53:56 now this is fantastic obviously the urban decay uh all nighter setting spray that's always good for a judge got my hand sanitizer i prefer charlotte tilbury though because then it doesn't dry you these are just stunning cute the dior lip yeah oils and then this is a new find go on mouth spray god i never it's been a while since this i always this guys let me put you onto this we are not rough birds well we are but not openly anymore yeah give it a go we are not chewing chewing gum and then it's the getting rid of do you know what i have my ultra is men chewing chewing gum yeah anybody read this out so it's ultra ultra ex fresh breath spray yeah oh i've just missed honestly i've just sprayed it all on my cheek it's absolutely fantastic
Starting point is 00:54:51 it how fresh do you feel after that so and it's like mini it's tiny so i've got all those little bits that is all of this is from boots everything in there i got from boots i'm obviously you know what boots is really fucking good boots is really that's a really good discount um taylor blue had that extra five percent why will no one give us clothes like that but i bought i did that's when i did that because you got 20 percent 25 percent of premium beauty yeah and then with her code you got an extra five percent off i got so you got like 30 percent off dior chanel clarence i got a few dior bits the clarence double serum and that's what i should have got you idiot i know um what uh did you get from dior the contour stick oh i've got the foundation on now that
Starting point is 00:55:46 fucking stick foundation brilliant the dior foundation the stick can i just say though sensational my friend works um doing buying full up fantastic so whenever i see it i interrogate her right and i said to her what's what's new so she gets sent everything decides if it goes on or not oh nice job and i was like what's new that's blown your mind recently and she went ashley the Giorgio Armani new mascara. So after what Sally told us, I was like, mascara is mascara.
Starting point is 00:56:19 Solid. Solid. And I bought it. Fuck me. Really good. Guys, it is bloody brilliant. So I used an e.l.f. one
