It still doesn't answer the question who Rose Hanbury is. She's a consultant, like a political consultant in the UK. And she's having sex with who? She used to work for Gov, that guy Gov. Oh, Gov. Is she having sex with who? With the, what's his name? Harry? No. No, the prince, the next king of England. That guy. Harry, not Harry.

Starting point is 00:01:37 I wouldn't have ever heard of this woman had I not heard about them scrubbing articles. This is the kind of the backlash to, to censorship. Well, I was going to surprise you with some sports ball. Yeah. What? Well, I'm very, I'm very sad. I'm very disappointed. The semi-finals yesterday. I bet you're just in the dumps about whatever it is you're going to tell me. I am. The Netherlands lost to the United Kingdom in the dumps about whatever it is you're gonna tell me. I am. The Netherlands lost to the United Kingdom in the Euro 2024 competition, the semi-finals,

Starting point is 00:02:09 1-2, it was 1-1. In the 90th and final minute, the UK scores. I thought this was the finals. I thought that was the end of it. No, no, that's the semi-finals. Now it's the UK versus Spain. Spain. Yeah, Spain will kick their ass. I'm gonna go with the UK this time. Yeah, well, you can go with whatever you want. You don't even like the sport. This is the only sport I actually understand. There's not much to it. It's what I know. Explain off sides.

Starting point is 00:02:40 That's when you are, when the player is in the defensive field and the ball is passed to that, it doesn't have to be passed, and he's behind the final defense line in front of the goalie. So then you're offside. You can't go behind that line, behind all of the defenders. There you go. I did it. I'm proud you go. I did it. I did it. I'm proud of myself. I did it.

Starting point is 00:03:08 I think, I'm not sure if it's right, but it is what it is. You've got something going on and you need a distraction. Concluded. Concluded. Yeah, new player enters the arena. Thank goodness we were waiting for him.

Starting point is 00:03:25 We know he's a spook, we know he's tied to intelligence. Whenever you need, really, really need something, you gotta roll out George Clooney. Well, more importantly to my thesis, he's a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Yes. Let's have a listen. Hollywood, speaking out for sure,

Starting point is 00:03:44 you have this op-ed from actor George Clooney now. He threw this multi-million dollar fundraiser for the president and now he's come forward and said, the president needs to step aside. We need to pick a new Democratic nominee here for president. And then now I'm seeing even on the view, Michael Douglas, actor Michael Douglas came forward saying the same thing.

Starting point is 00:04:09 Michael Moore, John Stewart, all these sort of heavy hitter Hollywood entertainment types kind of jumping on behind these eight House Democrats that have now defected calling for the president to drop out for reelection.

Starting point is 00:04:22 What do you know from the hill? What do you know from the Hill? What do you know? What are you learning? I can't bring these all together. I mean, it seems like the dam is breaking. It's breaking. I can tell you that Clooney op-ed also reverberated around the halls of Capitol Hill this morning.

Starting point is 00:04:37 As Rachel noted earlier, the Pelosi comments made the biggest impact here at the Capitol for obvious reasons. But I've talked to House Democratic sources who said that that pluny op-ed didn't turn down the pressure on their bosses. Some of these are staff sources one way or the other. As Rachel knows, there have been a lot of Democrats here on Capitol Hill who have privately said that they don't think Biden should be the nominee. Who have seriously privately questioned to me, to Rachel and others, his ability to win in November,

Starting point is 00:05:06 but there still is this difference between the Democrats who are willing to say that privately and the handful of House Democrats who have gone on the record and said publicly, they think Biden should step aside. Well, now it's Clooney. And of course, this wasn't op-ed in the New York Times. So people are only reading it.

Starting point is 00:05:24 But on your No Agenda show, we have exclusive audio because Clooney really is the guy who's out there to fire Joe Biden. So although I wish I were here with better news, the fact is that you and I are sitting here today because this will be your last week of employment. This is not an assessment of your productivity. You gotta try not to take this personally. Well, I just had a bad night. Ha ha ha ha George Clooney was a featured star at a blockbuster fundraising event for Joe Biden. Now he's calling for him to exit the race.

Starting point is 00:06:12 In an op-ed in the New York Times Wednesday, the Oscar-winning actor and director writes, the party needs a new nominee in order to save democracy. Referring to the fundraising event, Clooney said the president president quote, wasn't even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate. So before we get into some actual clips and I see you've been very busy. You've been a busy buddy, busy buddy. Your clips came in, I never listened to them, but I see the titles like, oh, John's got multi-parters.

Starting point is 00:06:53 The only person in the media who accurately describes what really is at hand here and what we really need to take or pay attention to, and I really hope people who liked Biden, voted for Biden, will pay attention to the media because the media doesn't work for the Democrats or the Republicans. The media works for the true owners of the company and when the call goes out they do whatever they tell them to do and Molly Hemingway is the only person so far I've heard accurately describe this. The vast majority of Americans have with their own eyes and ears witnessed the decline of this president. It was a major talking point in 2020.

Starting point is 00:07:29 We're talking about a White House press corps that had no problem running wild with accusations and anonymous sources and conspiracy theories when it was a Republican, Donald Trump. But now we're supposed to believe that they were somehow duped that the rest of the country could see something that they couldn't see. I don't buy it. I don't think any Americans buy it. The level of media corruption that we're seeing is complete at this point. They didn't cover the story because they thought it would be bad for Democrats to talk about

Starting point is 00:07:56 the senility of the president. And now they're covering it because they've lost confidence in their ability to drag Joe Biden across the finish line. There's nothing honest about this and they don't get any points, whether they start covering it now or not. All of this desire to oust Biden is happening only among the media and other top Democrats. You are not seeing a groundswell calling for change from Democrat voters.

Starting point is 00:08:18 Again, they just had a primary election. They just overwhelmingly chose this man to be their nominee. And now the media are acting like there's, like basically, that that doesn't matter. They don't feel confident in Biden. They want to replace him. And you have a media who are claiming that they were lied to because they think it would be better. Like they're willing to, they're willing to look stupid. And you have to be stupid to have not seen this story coming for five years. Or they're saying that they

Starting point is 00:08:44 were lied to and they're so bad at their jobs, they can't figure out how to deal with liars. And both of those things mean that it is the media who should actually resign. Good luck with that, but I agree. I agree. That's really the story. It's like, you know, hopefully people see this. I know I'm tilting at windmills here.

Starting point is 00:09:04 You're dreaming. You okay? I know I'm tilting at windmills here, but I hope... You're dreaming. You're dreaming. You're okay? I always hope that people can go to their more left-leaning friends and say, don't you see now? Don't you see that they're doing exactly the same thing they did to Trump, but they're doing the same thing to Biden when it behooves whoever is really in charge.

Starting point is 00:09:31 And I'll remind everybody of our thesis, which of course does involve the Council on Foreign Relations, but the Biden crime family is currently in negotiation for their exit. And in fact, it was, I got a quick because this, they really stepped it up. This is from RT, but it comes, it's citing New York Times Dealbook, which is kind of a Wall Street rag. Some donors have discussed elegant ways for Biden to step aside to preserve his reputation. While others believe that dropping out sooner is better than New York Times Dealbook letter said. Dealbook cited its sources as saying prominent financiers and investors including Larry Flink

Starting point is 00:10:11 of BlackRock, John Gray of Blackstone, and Peter Orszag of Lazard and Robert Wolf, former US executive, quote, close to Barack Obama are discussing whether to stick with Biden. So they're preparing the exit package. I'm still sticking with the, with the Beau Biden foundation for a swift, nice sinking to the background and with a hundred million dollars and then the new legislation, which will add another billion. Maybe, maybe more than that. I want to back you up with the three clips

Starting point is 00:10:46 dynamite Vivek was on Vivek is the guy who thinks Michelle Obama is going to well, he still thinks so. Okay, but that's beside the point Vivek was on of all things he was on Jesse waters. Those two get along like they're both brothers It's kind of sick. I'm gonna watch. Yeah. I can't believe you watched it. I wouldn't have normally done this, but I figure, well, you know, let's do this. This is the Vivek analysis. He does an analysis.

Starting point is 00:11:14 This is an analysis piece on what's going on. This is the first one is a JWPT, which is Jesse Waters' prime time. Vivek Ramaswamy is a former 2024 presidential candidate who I have to tell everybody, because if I don't, he will, that Vivek predicted that Joe Biden would not be the nominee. What happened? Well, I've said this for the last year and a half, Jesse, and I still stand by it. Biden is not going to be the nominee.

Starting point is 00:11:40 But here's how I see it. The longer they wait between now and late August, the better it actually is for the Democrats. And here's why. There's going to be a honeymoon phase for whichever new puppet, whichever new candidate they put up in the initial phase before the scrutiny phase begins. And they want November to come around while the public is still in that honeymoon phase with the new candidate. Think about it. Whoever the Democrats put up, it's going to be like the public and the Democrats attitude is like a tortured prisoner has towards the person who sets him free. That's the window they want the election to take place within. So they're in a rush, but not that much of a rush. And I think they're going to let this

Starting point is 00:12:15 play out for another month to get as close to late August as they can before they make the switch. That's what I think. So you could have an act the convention you're saying, because that is in late August and prime time will be there. So you do a switcheroo maybe Kamala at the convention. Okay. So I, by the way, I never heard that theory before, but I liked it. The switcheroo at the convention? Well, you know, there's the idea that you push this off way so you get this, this honeymoon period with the new candidate and before people realize that whoever that that person she is an idiot. Yeah, yeah.

Starting point is 00:12:50 It's an idiot. You can't you don't have enough time. So I thought that was good. But here we go with part two, which is which is I see listening to our show. I'm not sure. But here we go. Who doesn't do you think Joe can survive a month and a half with this type of scrutiny? Or does it just become like what happened to Uncle Bozy, cannibalism?

Starting point is 00:13:12 I think at this point it's a negotiation, Jesse. Everything else is posturing. So the reality is the harder of a stand Biden takes, the more they're negotiating their golden parachute, literally or metaphorically, what does their landing look like? And now it's up to that Democratic Party establishment to make sure the Biden family, which has always looked out for itself financially at the expense of the country, is set up well for themselves. That's what's going to happen in the next six weeks is that negotiation, everything else is public posturing that's cutting through the smoke right there. Hmm. Okay. That matches with you. And then of course, and then to finish it, we might as well put this third clip in.

Starting point is 00:13:52 All right. So you have been pretty accurate with predictions. Do you think it's Kamala? I think it's either Kamala or Michelle Obama. That's the only way the Democrat party gets around their identity politics issue. Oh, this is... Elise is consistent. party gets around their identity politics issue. This is interesting because, and it's fun to watch because there's definitely some different teams here.

Starting point is 00:14:14 And I'm not so sure that Obama is necessarily on the big money team anymore. I'm still on the fence about it. But when it comes to a black woman, and we'll have to put quotes around black for Kamala and woman for Michelle, Sonny Hostin. I mean, neither of them are a black woman. Sonny Hostin from The View has a different take on this. But what I will say is they say behind every great man is a great woman. Kamala Harris, as Anna said, is prepared. She's ready. She's presidential.

Starting point is 00:14:54 She spoke at the Essence Festival this weekend. Oh man, we didn't mention that, but this Essence Festival, they have a short clip here. Kamala was interviewed by a dude. A freak. What was that dude? He had like huge shoulder pads. It wasn't shoulder pads, it was wings. He had wings and it was a weird. It was a freak show.

Starting point is 00:15:16 It was a freak show. It was a total freak show. The guy was a freak and she was acting like this was all normal. If you think that the gender identity thing is an issue now, let Kamala Harris see where it goes. I think we have a clip. I want to show it very quickly. You have the former president who is running to become president again,

Starting point is 00:15:38 who has openly talked about his admiration of dictators and his intention to be a dictator on day one, who has openly dictators and his intention to be a dictator on day one. Who has openly talked about his intention to weaponize the Department of Justice against his political enemies. Who has talked about being proud of taking from the women of America a most fundamental right to make decisions about your own body. Okay, she's presidential. She's ready. She can assume it.

Starting point is 00:16:06 So if he cannot complete a four year term, we know that we are protected. I will say this. I am uncomfortable with him stepping down because I don't know that this country will vote for a black woman. If this country could not vote for Hillary Clinton, one of the most decorated and successful politicians and people in the world. I don't know that Kamala Harris can be a convicted felon. Sorry about that.

Starting point is 00:16:38 So she doesn't think America's ready to elect a black woman. Whoopi, and Moe actually told me to keep an eye on the view, he says, because there's opposing views on the view for once. Of course, it's a highly scripted show, so you never know if it's real opinions or not, but Whoopi Goldberg has her own little quotes. I don't care if he's pooped his pants. I don't care if he can't put a sentence together, show me he can't do the job, and then I'll say okay, maybe it's time to go. I have poopy days all the time. I step in so much poo you can't even imagine.

Starting point is 00:17:17 Now I'm not running the world, but I don't know anybody who doesn't step in stuff at some point. So she claims that she's crapping all over the place and stepping in it. In her own poop. What kind of an image is this? She walks around the house naked and just poops when she feels like it. What is that all about? Nobody needed that visual, but thank you. Now, I know you have a number of clips from the call to MSNBC.

Starting point is 00:17:54 Because I didn't clip it, because I saw you had it. So I'm like, okay, good. Don't have to do that. I do want to highlight one little bit first, which is where Team Obama is in all this. first, which is where team Obama is in all this. And it was very obvious from what president Biden said that the Obamas want him out. They are on the get Joe out team. Okay. So you have repeatedly said that all of these people and entities are wrong.

Starting point is 00:18:20 And let me go through them. The New York times editorial board the economist the Atlanta Journal Constitution the Boston Globe Jerry Nadler Seth Moulton Let me go to Julian Castro Tim Ryan David Axelrod Yeah, I know which one you're responding to there you notice how she even Accentuated it David Axelrod, who of course was Obama's handler throughout his presidential, his first presidential run.

Starting point is 00:18:55 And then Obama says, oh really? You're kidding me. Hmm. Gee. So he's not that crazy. He at least knows who his enemies are. He better. And I'll just play one more clip here.

Starting point is 00:19:09 So from team Obama, we have Axelrod on with Dana Bash at CNN and John Favreau, who is on the pod Save America, who was Obama's speech writer, who for years, sometimes I listen to the show, for years has been defending Joe Biden until, oh, until now, of course. If President Biden does withdraw from the race, replacing him at the top of the ticket could be chaotic. But here's what a top Biden fundraiser and longtime supporter George Clooney said about that in his op-ed this morning. Would it be messy? Yes, democracy is messy, but would it enliven our party and wake up voters who long before the June

Starting point is 00:19:54 debate had already checked out? It sure would. The short ramp to Election Day would be a benefit for us, not a danger. Jon Fabro and David Axelrod are back with me. Axe, what do you think about that? Hello, Axe. Axe. Yeah, you know, it's trying to be like, you know, billions. You know, the show billions.

Starting point is 00:20:15 It's a... I never watched that show. The guy's name is, it's Axe Capital, so everyone calls him Axe. And so now... Axelrod's Axe. Axe. Argument. Look,e. Axe. Axe. Argument. Look, I think there's merit to it.

Starting point is 00:20:29 Sometimes, this is all a matter of risk assessment. There's risk associated with everything. The question is whether the risk of the status quo eclipses the risk of trying something else. And I think we've reached the point where many are, have come to that conclusion but the thing about the peace standard that i thought was particularly impactful was cluny who just hosted a fundraiser major fundraiser

Starting point is 00:20:54 for the president a few weeks ago in california said you can't win the battle against time none of us can is devastating to say but joe biden i was the job and i was with three weeks ago. The fundraiser was not the Joe Biden of 2010. He wasn't even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate. That is devastating. That's devastating.

Starting point is 00:21:15 Yeah. And that's exactly what I was going to ask John about, because John, you were at that fundraiser as well. I don't know if you spend as much time with- Of course, that's what all the journalists do. President Biden is George Clooney did since he was one of the hosts. But that, I'm totally with you, David. That quote was like, wow.

Starting point is 00:21:36 I mean, it was not surprising to any of us who were at the fundraiser. I was there, Clooney was exactly right. And every single person I talked to at the fundraiser thought the same thing, except for the people working for Joe Biden, or at least they didn't say that. But I remember my wife, Emily, turned to me after the fundraiser and said, what are we gonna do?

Starting point is 00:21:54 I mean, and I said, well, there's a debate in a week. Either he'll do well in the debate and we'll think, well, he was just tired because he flew all the way back from Europe and that'll be that. Or he'll be like this at the debate and then the whole country will be talking about it. So here we are. I like the way they reverse engineer everything.

Starting point is 00:22:12 And I love how he throws his wife under the bus. Well, she said it. My wife said it. Now, of course, we know... Did you know that George Clooney is one of the largest bundlers in all of Hollywood. Oh yes, and he's real tight with Obama. You know, they're on that boat together, like Como. Yes, it was, a lot of people believe that that editorial that went in the New York Times had to be approved by Obama. Yeah, yeah. So now, I mean, I can only imagine that Obama is trying to pull some strings. I don't know if he has the Wall Street connection though. That's what I mean. I hear these other, you know, the Black Rock guy and the Black Stone guy and I'm like,

Starting point is 00:22:56 I don't know. I'm not sure exactly if they're all in the same camp or if they're just, okay, you know, we are going to approve this and here's we're going to do it. So we'll pay off Joe, we'll take care of it. I don't know. Well, the BlackRock guys, I don't have the names in front of me, but BlackRock is need, is neck deep in the Biden administration. According to Seymour Hersh, they're running it. That would make sense. And I don't think Obama is part of that team. No, I wouldn't think so.

Starting point is 00:23:30 But they're losing against the media, which, you know, I mean, at this point, intelligence is involved. You know, they gave Comer basically the information that the White House doctor, you know, who checked Joe out has ties to the family. So, you know, then you bring in Cluny. That was a good one. Known spy. I mean, so this is, this is, there's, come on, we all know it.

Starting point is 00:23:56 So, so there's, once intelligence gets into it, you're toast. I mean, so they've just got to wrap this up, but, you know, how long will it go? I think Vivek's got it right. It's going to go right as close to the election as possible. So even past the convention? No, it don't have to be at the convention. At the convention, yeah. Yeah. So I have a de- I have a tapper deconstructing the phone call, but I think maybe it's better if we do the phone call first since you clipped it seven times. I have a lot of clips.

Starting point is 00:24:29 Some of them are pretty short, one's 19 seconds. But I will say this about halfway through these clips, I decided to do deep fakes, or I'm sorry, cheap fakes and edit it a little bit to make it easier to understand what the hell is going on. But let's start with the real deal, which is, this was, by the way, I think it was about a half an hour. Oh, yes, it was. It was very long. Starting point is 00:25:07 And from inside the White House, we have a special guest joining us now, the 46th president of the United States and presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden calling in to morning Joe right now. Good morning, sir. Hey, making more of them presumptive, I'm going to be Joe right now. Good morning, sir. Hey, Meika, I'm more than presumptive. I'm going to be the Democratic nominee. More than presumptive, Meika. Get on your game. Isn't her name Micah or Meika?

Starting point is 00:25:34 I think it's Meika. He said Meika. No, he didn't say Megan. No, he did not. No. He didn't say. He had his hand on whatever he said. Hey, Meika, I'm more of a president.

Starting point is 00:25:45 I'm going to be the Democratic nominee. Who knows? Who knows? Hey, hey, hey. Whatever. I think he said Mekin. OK. But that's OK.

Starting point is 00:25:52 Let's go to clip two. How are you? Well, Mr. President, that leads to the letter that we just received a few minutes ago. And I'm curious, there's a part of it where you talk about the fact that you got 14 million votes, 87% of the vote. It was an open process. You only had three people running against you. You have 3,900 delegates.

Starting point is 00:26:16 And then you ask this question, do we now just say the process didn't matter, that the voters didn't have a say? I'm curious, is that an illusion also to Donald Trump? And the fact that Democrats, you believe, may now be doing the same thing that Donald Trump tried to do in 2020, and that is overthrow the popular will of Democratic voters. Well look, Democrats, let me say it this way. I gotta stop this for a second. I am incensed that MSNBC and the White House, although the White House may be doing it purposefully, that they let him talk on speakerphone on a radio interview. You gotta put the handset up to your face. This is no good.

Starting point is 00:27:01 It makes him sound even more feeble than he already is. The audio that has been done to this man is despicable as a professional. But it's always been that way. We remember years and years ago we were bitching about the sound quality. But this is really bad. I think it's because he's got to hold the sheets that he's reading from. Oh, clearly. Yeah, clearly.

Starting point is 00:27:24 But still, I mean, you know, it's like, ugh. I know it sounds amateurish. It does. Well, look, Democrats, let me say it this way. The reason I've been on the road so much all over the country and while Trump is riding around in a golf cart, filling out his golf cart before golf cart before he even hits the ball, but then he hit, he hadn't been anywhere in 10 days. I've been all over the dry

Starting point is 00:27:45 Yeah, right number one and I've gone over a country for several reasons To make sure my instinct was right about the party still wanting me to be the nominee and all the data all the data shows that Average Democrat out there who voted and 14 million of them that voted for me, still want me to be the nominee, number one. Number two, the idea that Donald Trump has gained in any substantial way, has his arguments of why he should be president is anywhere convincing than it was two weeks or three weeks ago.

Starting point is 00:28:23 It's just not there. And we're just getting, we're just starting to focus on. What everyone kind of forgets in this is how they railroaded RFK and didn't let me Joe, he wasn't even going to be the nominee. And they finagled that thing. This 14 million people didn't vote for him. They screwed everybody else on that deal on the primaries. That was not a clean primary at all. And they all know it. I agree. Was that the end of that clip?

Starting point is 00:28:54 Yes, it was. Okay, we move on to clip three. I attended services, spoke to over 600 people at Mount Airy Church of God in Christonville. Yeah, oh, stop for a second. I watched him at the church. Where's the separation of church and state when you're doing a campaign stop in a church? Good point. I mean, it wasn't just like, hey, get your Jesus on everybody. No, it was, I did this and I can do this and I'm gonna do that.

Starting point is 00:29:29 It was a campaign stop in a church. Yes. I'm just saying. I love it. By the way, it was the most awkward thing I've ever witnessed. It was. In fact, on the Monday Gutfeld show,

Starting point is 00:29:44 Charles Payne, the black finance guy was on, and he was killing it on the show, just laughing his ass off over how frightened Biden seemed to be in an all black church. Didn't know where to put the money. He was walking around with a hundred dollar bill in his hand. I didn't see that. Oh, that's great. Oh yeah, he had this hundred he wanted to give to somebody.

Starting point is 00:30:05 No, I don't take it. And he's wandering around with his hundred dollar bill. You take it. It's hilarious. Look, I attended services, spoke to over 600 people at Mount Airy Church of God in Christ in Philly. I stopped by campaign field offices with John Frederman and Madeleine Dean, both strongly supporting me. I've been the president of the first lady.

Starting point is 00:30:26 We spoke at a campaign, ice cream social for AFSCME. Council 13 in Harrisburg, 40 minutes after we spoke with supporters, stopped by Denim Coffee. I mean, I was with the governor of- There you go. That the average voter out there still wanted Joe Biden. I am not going anywhere.

Starting point is 00:30:53 So we noted yesterday that you lost and you said, well, as long as I did the best I could do, that's the most important thing. That's caused Democrats concerned who believe that losing is not an option. What would you say to those who were concerned by that answer? It's not an option and I'm not lost. I haven't lost.

It's not an option. And I'm not lost. I haven't lost. I beat him last time. I'll beat him this time. And this is a guy who... Look, we talk about debate. Look at his performance of debates. He lied over, you know, Trump has 50 lies, 50 lies, 50 lies. I mean, look, this is a guy who says 10% of the universe, ah, yeah, I wanna get into better.

Starting point is 00:31:55 Who says 10% of the universe, ah, yeah, I wanna get into better. He's just a liar, liar, liar, liar. And he hadn't done a damn thing since the debate. He's been riding around in a golf cart for 10 days and down in Mar-a-Lago talking with his wealthy friends. I'm not running because of these guys, Joe. Well, you can see where I was getting bored.

Starting point is 00:32:16 Very bored, yes. So when I'm bored, these clips get a lot better. Out comes the razor blade. And by the way, 97% of all the people who contribute to us are people who make it under 200, contributing under 200 bucks. I think we have the largest contingent ever in history. I'm not positive of that, but I think that's true. And so I want the support, but that's not the reason I'm running.

Starting point is 00:32:38 I'm not running about what they think, what they care about. And by the way, you don't see a whole hell of a lot of them flocking to Trump. You don't see a whole lot of CEOs flocking to Trump. You don't see any, you see the major economist out there talking about what I have been able to do. Oh, he's the 16 Nobel laureates, who said he did a great job. Major economist. I don't hear anybody talking about his economic plan likely to bring America around and keep America first. And by the way, here's Trump talking about all that he's done and all that, and you know, Trump, Trump and his debate night, he's a pathological liar. He lied about Roe, he refused to accept the outcome of the election, he refused to condemn

Starting point is 00:33:19 January 6th, and he says, he claim he spoke with Putin before he invaded. What the hell are we doing, Joe? What are we doing? This is bizarre. You know, the mistake that, well, it's not a mistake, but if you really wanted to be president and you had your own mind and wits about you, which I'm not saying he doesn't, but he has problems getting it out, you'd say instead of, because all you're hearing is got to beat Trump, got to beat Trump, got to get somebody to beat Trump, Kamala can beat Trump, Big

Starting point is 00:33:50 Mike can beat Trump, everyone can beat Trump. How about what the American people I believe really want to hear, I do believe, they want to hear what you're going to do for the country. They don't want to hear what that guy did or what he said. This isn't, anybody could stand up and say, Hey, I'm going to do this, this, and this. And it would be better than what this guy's doing right now. This is a known fact in politics.

Starting point is 00:34:14 You just attacking the other guy is not like anything positive about it. It costs you votes. Always does. Yes. It makes no sense. So we go on. You assure the American people that you won't have another night like the one you did in Atlanta. Look at my career.

Starting point is 00:34:31 I've not had many of those nights. It was a terrible night. And I really regret it happened. But the fact of the matter is, how can you assure you're going to be on faith that can intervene on your way to go to, you know, work tomorrow? Age, age wasn't, you know, the idea of I'm too old. Created over 15 million jobs, 21 million insured for the ACA, beat Big Pharma, relieved student debt for 5 million people, first black woman in the court. So I think I had a significant, a significant run and that's how I'd measure

Starting point is 00:35:09 me. Measure me what I've done. And by the way, I'm not bad at what I do. Again, taking, taking credit for stuff that people don't like, like no one is happy. Nobody's happy. Oh, look what I did. Love my truck. He should have said that.

But if any of these guys don't think I should run against me. Go announce the president. Challenge me at the convention. Yeah, this is perfect because this is a lead into this

Starting point is 00:36:54 series of short clips. These are quite short. Of Jake Tapper. Jake Tapper, as we know, when it's the CIA assistant director's birthday, Jake Tapper's at the party, all the CNN people really. Also, Council on Foreign Relations. Council on Foreign Relations. And Tapper, I mean, it's almost like he said, you know, because, you know, CNN just announced they're going to fire hundreds of people. If I get the boot, I could always go work at that No Agenda show.

Starting point is 00:37:25 I know I can do what those guys do. I know how to do it. And he deconstructs this call based upon the elites quote. And of course, Tapper is by definition one of these elites. Listen to this. Today, President Biden called into one of his favorite TV shows, Morning Joe on MSNBC, and he railed against what he called the elites. I'm getting so frustrated by the elites.

Starting point is 00:37:50 Now, I'm not talking about you guys, but about the elites in the party, who they know so much more. President Biden seems to be trying to frame what's going on right now as the average voters who want him versus the elites of the Democratic party, donors and lawmakers and opinion makers, many of whom And media. have serious concerns about Biden's ability to be the candidate and have called for him to step down after that debate performance that let's call baffling.

Starting point is 00:38:18 Baffling. In reality, 72% of voters say that they believe President Biden is too old. That's according to CNN's most recent polling. Voters have been saying this for quite a long time. The reality is that the Democratic elites are mostly late to acknowledge these age and ability issues compared to the rest of the public. The elites have been forced to reckon with it after the debate just 11 days ago. What a bunch of hogwash.

Starting point is 00:38:46 These guys have been protecting Biden for as long as they were told to and he's fine. Sharpest attack, everything's good, don't worry about it. Sharpest attack's my favorite. All of a sudden now. It wears you out in one hour. Yeah, yeah. I mean, I couldn't even keep up with him. So let's mock him on his aid, shall we?

Starting point is 00:39:03 Look at my career. I've not had many of those nights. It was a terrible night and I really regret it happened. But the fact of the matter is, how can you assure you're going to be on, you know, faith that can intervene on your way to go to work tomorrow? Age wasn't, you know, the idea that I'm too old. The fact of the matter is how can you assure you're going to be out on, you know, on your way to go, you know, work tomorrow age, age wasn't, you know, the idea that I'm too old.

Starting point is 00:39:34 I see now, I see now all of a sudden CNN decides to make fun of how he talks, how incoherent he speaks, which we've been doing since 2018. Or before. Drunk or not drunk. Drunk or not drunk. And so now in one of those typical Joe Biden gaffes, although it's very, it's very understandable what he meant, what President Biden meant. Now all of a sudden Tapper is going to pretend like, like Joe is insane with what he's saying.

Starting point is 00:40:04 He called into a couple of black radio stations where he said, among other things, this. By the way, I'm proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, first black woman, served with a black president. I'm proud of all the first black women in the Supreme Court. There's just so much that we can do because together we, there's nothing. Look, this is United States of America. He's proud to be the first black woman. Not coherent.

Starting point is 00:40:34 Oh, really, Jake Tapper? I mean, that's a cheap shot. Even we wouldn't fall over that. I do have that clip though. Which clip? I have that clip in a context. Let's just interrupt your train here. I have that in context. Again, I got this from Jesse Walters and I kept him in it to keep context.

Starting point is 00:40:57 I keep it in context, which is the fact that the clip was really not about Biden saying he's a black woman, but it was about busting out the fact that the White House is controlling the narrative on black radio. A Philly radio host admitted the White House sent her a list of questions to ask the president. Were those questions given to you by the White House or the campaign, or did you have to submit questions ahead of this interview? The questions were sent to me for approval.

Starting point is 00:41:29 I approved of them. Okay. So the white house sent the questions to you ahead of the interview. Yes. Okay. I got several questions, eight of them. And the four that were chosen were the ones that I approved. Even when Biden knows the questions he can't answer.

Starting point is 00:41:44 By the way, I'm proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, first black woman, served with a black president. I'm glad that you inserted that because I'll give you the update. A Word radio host is leaving the station after a controversial interview with President Biden. Andrea Lawful Sanders admitted to asking questions provided beforehand by Biden's campaign. As Ray Strickland reports, this happened less than a week after the president's poor debate performance. Defective immediately. I am no longer an on-air host at WUID. Andrea Lawful Sanders announced her departure from Word in a post to her followers on Instagram Sunday. I tendered my resignation yesterday.

Starting point is 00:42:31 I'm glad that you all were patient. Lawful Sanders, who hosted a radio show called The Source on Word, made headlines following her interview with President Biden that aired on July 4th. It's so bad that when this woman, poor lady, admits what the media has been doing forever, including giving the questions in the debate to Hillary Clinton, we haven't forgotten that. Now she admits it, oh, you better resign. That's a black mark on our reputation. Let's stop for one second and go back in time.

Starting point is 00:43:10 Cause you were in the business long enough to know that they used to send out 16 inch transcriptions of the answers to questions that you didn't even talk to the person. You would play, you would have a series of questions. This is very common in radio you had a series of questions to ask a transcription and You would ask these questions and then the transcription would play the answer. I will take it one step further in 1985 Janet Jackson, I she did come to our studio later. I was in Holland. They sent out a electronic press kit, an EPK,

Starting point is 00:43:50 electronic press kit, which had answers from Janet Jackson about her album. And I, in collusion with my production team, pretended that I had her on satellite and I edited this real, even had some fake like satellite snow, oh we're connecting to Los Angeles. I bet you it's on YouTube somewhere. We're connecting to Los Angeles, hey Janet, and she goes hello, and I had my questions rehearsed.

Starting point is 00:44:23 I did it in real time, knowing exactly how long those gaps were in between the answers that we edited on basically your answer tape. It's all phony. I've been a part of it. You've been a part of it. In fact, we were phonies until podcasting. So yes. I never took part in one of those transcription interviews But yeah, if you're working in the business period you're part of it The whole thing is a giant scam not to mention the fact that when she this poor woman busted it out It's not new to anybody. There's probably not one broadcaster in the world that said, oh, that's a shock Yeah, final clip from from Tapper where, uh, he does another one of these making,

Starting point is 00:45:09 making fun now just making fun of the president's speech, which we know has been challenged. George Stephanopoulos asking him how he would feel if he ultimately loses to Donald Trump, which polls have suggested he will. I feel as long as I gave it my all and I did the goodest job as I know I can do, that's what this is about. As long as he gave it his all and did the goodest job he could do, that's what it's all about, isn't it?

Starting point is 00:45:37 President has said that Donald Trump, his opponent, poses an existential threat to democracy in the United States. Is his giving it his all and doing the goodest job he can do enough? That's downright mean. So now, that's a terrific clip by the way. NBC brought on a neurologist, the goodest. The zoologist? A neurologist. And I learned some interesting things because this guy is going to tell us that the president has Parkinson's, which it was always Alzheimer's until you introduced Lewy body disease, which is a subset, a rare form of Parkinson's disease. Again, you're no agenda show ahead of the curve. The truth always catches up to us eventually.

Starting point is 00:46:28 And just listening to President Biden, understanding who his enemies are, Axelrod, Obama, makes sense in the context of these few clips I have here about the president's state of mind, his Parkinson's, and here's the neurologist they brought in. I'm joined tonight by Dr. Tom Pitts. He's a quadruple board certified neurologist. He sees patients with Parkinson's at the time. He diagnoses it. I want to be completely transparent here.

Starting point is 00:46:58 You've never examined President Biden, from my knowledge, you've never even spoken yet to President Biden. Never have I been in this room. And we're just gonna use what we have so far, which is what we've seen, the President's interviews, and the information coming out of the White House. So my first question to you is,

Starting point is 00:47:12 as somebody who's a neurologist, what you've seen from the President over the last two years, what you saw at the debate, the last few interviews, the way he speaks, the way maybe he walks, have you noticed anything that gives you a red flag as a doctor? Oh yeah, I see him 20 times a day in clinic. I mean, it's ironic because he has just

Starting point is 00:47:30 those classic features of neurodegeneration. I mean, word finding difficulties, and that's not, oh, I couldn't find the word. That's from degeneration of the word retrieval area. He's also overcome stuttering, though. Could that be part of that, too? No, this is not a palatal issue or a speech discrepancy, which is very different from a liminal dysfunction,

Starting point is 00:47:46 actual word retrieval, where you pick a similar question or talk around the issue, plus the rigidity, monotone voice. Wait, go back to that, the rigidity, what do you mean? Oh, rigidity, loss of arm swing, standing up lordotically. You notice when he turns, it's kind of end block turning, it's not a quick turn. So that's one of the hallmarks of Parkinsonism is rigidity and bradykinesia, slow movement. And he has that hallmark, especially

Starting point is 00:48:11 with the low voice that was a cold hypophonia, a small monotone voice like this over time is a hallmark of Parkinsonism. I could have diagnosed him from across the mall. Yeah. I like the neophonism. That's an interesting one. These symptoms are pretty obvious to anyone who knows what they're talking about. Funny though, it's only now that we're getting analysis of this from your news media. Hallmark Shuffling Gate, we call that, so little steps. Loss of arm swing from the rigidity. we walk, we have a nice cadence, you notice he doesn't really swing his arms.

Starting point is 00:48:49 And end block turning, meaning he kind of pivots around his foot. If you said, hey, President Biden, he wouldn't go like this. So yeah. But I also know, I also don't tell me if I'm wrong here, it's very hard to diagnose Parkinson's, isn't it? It's not, it's not simple. I mean, I've heard that it can be. It's one of the easier movement disorders

Starting point is 00:49:06 to diagnose, actually. Right, but it's so clinic. There's very little others, and I'm a Democrat, I always say, come at this. Right. It's just like, this guy's not a hard case. But I've had relatives who have gone through issues, neurological issues, and I've heard that

Starting point is 00:49:19 sometimes Parkinson's is not very easy to nail. You have to take a lot of tests, there's like, I mean. Early on, if you're just presented with like hallucinations, that could be a variety of things, or just the cognitive problems. That could be Alzheimer's versus Parkinsonism, and that becomes a little nebulous. But once you start manifesting the hallmark motor symptoms,

Starting point is 00:49:37 slow movement, rigidity, mass facies, hypophonia. I mean, if a med student did not pick Parkinson's on the test, they'd be remediated. So even a med student, if they didn't say the guys got Parkinson's, they'd be kicked out. Okay. Just as an aside, I have a quick note from one of our producers. She writes, yes to everything you said about Lewy body dementia. It's worse than you can even imagine My mom died of it as did Robin Williams in her mid 90s mid 90s I was at a good run in 2019 She was doing so well and then it hit and progressed quickly to where she could do absolutely nothing for herself

Starting point is 00:50:19 Yes to hallucinations as well as she would sometimes say when she could still talk, there was a cat hiding in the house plant in the corner of the room. No cats. In earlier stages, she would point to the TV where a handsome news anchor was presenting the day's events and proclaim, I'm now engaged to him.

Starting point is 00:50:42 We will be married soon. Oh man. I got enough. That's where Biden is it this is why they're free that Council on Foreign Relations is freaked out They don't need this aggravation. Well to back you up from sir Greg who was a retired emergency room nurse in Mesa, Arizona He also had two relatives die of Lewy body dementia around 2009 for men with that diagnosis From the time they are diagnosed. They are usually dead within two years plus or minus a few months. They also have a tendency to get violent slash abusive with caregivers and family and end up in locked nursing homes where the staff and the building are prepared to deal with

Starting point is 00:51:19 violent outbursts, escape attempts, and patients who are resistant to their care plan and nursing home rules. They also tend to deny they have a problem, but I can say that for the patient during a violent outburst, it feels like they are in a nightmare, but they are aware something is wrong. It's their awareness of being irrational that causes frustration and angry outbursts toward caregivers and family members. Imagine being stuck in a nightmare where everything goes wrong and makes you mad, nobody listens or understands you. Their final weeks of life

Starting point is 00:51:49 are usually bedridden and asleep most of the time. Their head CT scans usually show a physical shrinking brain. Oh God. Yeah. But as we're about to hear in this final clip from the neurologist, the sharp of it as a tack thing is actually not even necessarily wrong because the president may actually be very cognizant of what's going on and there's ways to test this. You know, a lot of people have called for a cognitive test. What exactly would that entail?

Starting point is 00:52:20 What does that mean? Now that's the key because word finding retrieval doesn't necessarily mean you don't know what you want to say. What I cannot comment on is his ability to make good decisions. His motor symptoms are degenerating. He has Parkinsonisms, that is a fact. You know, he has degeneration of the brain.

Starting point is 00:52:36 Show me the MRI, show me he doesn't. You know, put your money where your mouth is. He definitely has it. But the problem is when you look at his situation you can't say, oh, I know for a fact that because he didn't retrieve the word, he didn't know what he wanted to say. And that's why both him and Trump

Starting point is 00:52:50 should take the four hour neuropsychological testing, which is the hallmark test for cognitive performance. What do you do in this test? A lot of things. So for example, they may have you say like, say as many words as you can in a minute that start with F, block building, retrieval. I may say cup and have you recall it three minutes later.

Starting point is 00:53:08 Trail drawing, these are done with a professional PhD in neuropsychology, has nothing to do with psychiatry. And we can tell if you have that. It's four hours long? Four hours, it's a full day. We tell people bring a snack. It is a full day and that's not the Mocha, which was a bedside test that president trump took you know

Starting point is 00:53:25 these are tests that are screening tests they don't rule in you know if you do great there's no there's no way to sort of lie in this test to sort of ace it even though you're saying no way this one will will it will come out in the wash i'm going to test you john will say cup later and see if you can retrieve the word. Cup. What? So now to some humorous bits because of course it is just funny what's happening and you're seeing who's on the outs and who is in the wrong spot at the wrong time. And it gives me no pleasure to say Joy Reid is probably one of them. All of that happened this weekend, but please, please, privileged, rich, white, elected Democrats, you just keep publicly defenestrating your party leader

Starting point is 00:54:08 and president to feed the media thirst for Democrats and disarray stories because you're scared for your own seats and apparently don't know how to campaign on a surging economy, high tech jobs, and $35 insulin. I mean, you're the most important thing here, right? You and your donors, of course, not the actual voters in your party base who can't afford to see prices double on everything they

Starting point is 00:54:29 buy due to Trump's China tariffs. And who would be the first ones fired from their federal civil service jobs under project 2025 or shot in the streets by Trump stormtroopers if they protest? You do you. Wow. Go ahead, Joy Reid. Go rail on the rich white people. There you go. There's no problem there. Yeah, she's going to be a short timer. She's going to be eventually you're going to see her on YouTube only. Yeah, well she's already ramping up the TikTok career. They're doing a shake up at CNN. She's a goner. She's not been read in. She's being set up to get fired. She's too dumb to know it. As predicted.

Starting point is 00:55:10 Even Harvey Levin, TMZ, knew all of this. 11 months ago, I talked to somebody who is very high up in the Biden world and was told they don't want him doing anything after 8 o'clock at night because he starts wandering, repeats stories and all this but if they're telling him that for a year why was this such a secret? He is 81. These kinds of things happen to old people it's nothing bad about Joe Biden it just means he shouldn't be president of the United States.

Starting point is 00:55:42 George said did you watch the debate? Did you watch it afterwards? He said, I don't think I did now. He said it like we couldn't remember. So Peter Doocy from Fox News, known troublemaker, is now taking advantage of the situation to to embarrass his nemesis Jarin Jarin Jean-Claude Pierre Carine Abdul Jabbar and He's just laying it on so say that the Pentagon at some point picks up an incoming new it's 11 p.m. Who do you call the first lady?

Starting point is 00:56:21 He has a team that let you know Of any news that is pertinent and important to the American people. He has someone that is decided obviously with his National Security Council on who gets to tell him that news. Well, she's a diplomatic answer, but he's not giving up. So Kevin McCarthy just said that when he was the speaker, many times when we had meetings in the Oval Office, Jill was there as well. When the First Lady is in these meetings, is she making decisions or is she just advising

Starting point is 00:56:52 the President? No. The President is the President of the United States. He makes decisions. And the final one. Another family member. President Biden has told me before, he and his son don't have any business dealings together. So what is Hunter Biden doing in White House meetings?

Starting point is 00:57:08 Are you talking about the meeting where they came together from Camp David and the two of them walked to the President's meeting and he was there? There's a report that aides were struck by his presence during their discussions. Look, I can't, I'm certainly not going to get into private conversations that occur. What I can say is, and I talked to this, I spoke to this before, is that when they came back from Camp David, the president spent a couple days at Camp David with his family. He is very close to his family, as you know. It was the week of 4th of July, which is why his family members were here last week.

Starting point is 00:57:47 They walked together and they walked together into the meeting. Can you say if Hunter Biden has access to classified information? No. Um, even Ed O'Keefe from the CIA broadcasting systems really got into a beef. Oh no, N.O. Keefe really got into it with her and he seemed, it's almost as though he was, yeah, I've seen this clip a lot at which people enjoy. I have two clips actually, two clips. And it's like as if he was miffed about the fact

Starting point is 00:58:19 that if they're gonna create a facade, they have to keep it up and then now it looks like they threw the media under the bus and he considers it a personal insult, it seems to me. I'm going to ask you a very basic, direct question. Wait, wait, wait. Hold on, hold on. Wait, wait, wait.

Starting point is 00:58:35 Wait a second. Eight times or at least once in regards to the president specifically. Hold on a second. That's what you should be able to answer by this point. No, no, no, no, no, no. No, wait a minute. Ed, please, a little respect here, please.

Starting point is 00:58:51 So every year around the president's physical examination, he sees a neurologist. That's three times, right? So I am telling you that he has seen a neurologist three times while he has been in this presidency. That's what I'm saying. I am telling you that he has seen them three times. That is what I'm sharing with you. Every time he has a physical, he has had to see a neurologist.

Starting point is 00:59:18 So that is answering that question. No, it is. It is. You're asking me... Dr. Kevin Kennard, kind of the White House... That question. No, it's not. No, it is. It is. You're asking me. Dr. Kevin Kennard, Cardinal of the White House, is still in the US President's condition. I also said to you, Ed, I also said to you, for security reasons, we cannot share names. We cannot share names.

Starting point is 00:59:34 We have to- You cannot share names of others he would have met with. We cannot- We cannot share names in regards to if someone came here in regard to that. We cannot share names of specialists broadly, from a dermatologist to a neurologist. We cannot share names of specialists broadly, from a dermatologist to a neurologist. We cannot share names. There are security reasons we have. This O'Keefe, he's clutching his pearls because he knew, they all knew he was a part of the

Starting point is 00:59:57 whole cover-up. Yeah, definitely. Let's back this up a little bit, get a little background on what this beef was about. The beef was about, for people who didn't follow it, there was a Parkinson's expert who showed up at the White House and is listed on the White House logs and he showed up over the past year or so. Eight times. Between eight and ten times.

Starting point is 01:00:20 That number seems to vary with the reporting. But whatever the case was, this guy, this expert on Parkinson's disease kept showing up. And so he's asking, what can you tell us about this guy? She can't even say his name because of some security bull crap. And then O'Keefe, even though you can hardly hear it, starts to complain that he's listed on the White House logs. That's not much of a state secret. And then they get into that back and

Starting point is 01:00:49 forth. Although I'm pretty sure that he was there for the Parkinson Foundation. That would make sense for that, for the legislation that was signed on July 5th. He was probably advising on that. But here's the, I'm miffed clip. Since we have to, we have to pretend, I understand that. I hear you. I hear you. I cannot from here confirm any of that because we have to keep their privacy. I think they would appreciate that too.

Starting point is 01:01:21 We have to give them, we have to keep their privacy. I hear you. Guys, guys, guys, guys, hold on a second. There's no reason to get back and go back and forth and be in this aggressive way. We are a little missed around here about how information has been shared with the press board. What are you missed about? Everything he just asked about.

Starting point is 01:01:45 And then every time I come back and I answer the question that you guys asked. And you answer incorrectly, then have to come back and clean up your fingers. I never answer the question incorrectly. That is not true. I was asked about a medical exam. I was asked about a physical.

Starting point is 01:01:55 That was in the line of question that I answered. And I said, no, he did not have a medical exam. And I still stand by that. Starting point is 01:03:05 I think that we could lose the whole thing. What's your response to that? My response is I'm more optimistic than he is about our ability to win. He doesn't frighten me, doesn't scare me, can't predict any more than I can predict. I predict we're going to win, that Biden is an honorable, respected man, and that Trump is a liar, he is not trusted, our allies are baffled by the way that he's treated them. You can go on and on about a man who told us to drink disinfect when COVID was killing people. Lies. when COVID was killing people. And so I think in a final analysis,

Starting point is 01:03:46 people will understand that our democracy is at stake. Yeah, blah, blah, blah. All right, so Maxine has not been read in. And then, and again, and this is, the prophecy is coming through, all the black women, they're all being pushed out of front. You take the heat, you go talk about it. How much do you think the typical student loan borrower owes 20 years after taking out their loans?

Starting point is 01:04:42 Well, the typical white borrower owes about 6% of what they originally borrowed. 20 years on and they still owe 6% of what they borrowed. The typical black borrower owes 95% of what they originally borrowed. Canceling student loan debt is about racial justice. There's no doubt about it. Ah, this woman.

But she does not care about that. No, it's all about, hey, we're a union.

Starting point is 01:06:09 We have power. So we're going to vote and we're going to win and we're going to win and we're going to win. It's about us. Screw the kids. We are the ones who helped to shape the heart of this nation's hopes and dreams. We are the ones who hold steadfast to the belief of the plausibility of the possible. We are the heirs of all who did this work before us. We must keep going.

Starting point is 01:07:47 Yes, that is the definition of unhinged right there. And speaking of racism, Sam Shepard, who I watched for years in New York, he was, I think he's always been a weatherman, but maybe he did show business news. Well now he's on the panel, now he's part of the news team. And I looked at earlier, I think it's about 85 degrees today in New York City. And 85 degrees in the city in the summer

Starting point is 01:08:16 is not pleasant no matter what, but it's not like it's- No, the humidity's too high. It's not like it's 120 degrees, but- So we have been talking to you and you've been talking to us back and forth about a major heat threat for days now and it's a it's tough here just it's it's tough to see these numbers for long periods of time in our city we know that an estimated 350 new yorkers die from

Starting point is 01:08:36 heat related illness each year and that's not even going through the prolonged stretch that we've been through so um new y Yorkers of color are actually twice as well. Well, since when is there New Yorkers of color? How about that 6570% of New York? It's a melting pot, Sam. New Yorkers of color. Oh, that's even worse for them. True. So New Yorkers of color are actually twice as likely to be impacted. Joining us now is the NYC Emergency Manager, First Deputy Commissioner, Christina Farrell.

Starting point is 01:09:10 Christina, I'm so glad to see you. Can I just get this out of the way first? I haven't seen a lot of reporting of heat deaths in our area during this range of heat that we've been in. Can you update me on that? How are we doing on that front? Hey, do you got any dead people we can talk about? Because I just hyped it.

Starting point is 01:09:28 You know, do you got any dead black people for me? Come on, lady. Hello. So we have seen an increase in 911 calls and in emergency room visits, which is to be expected when the weather is this extreme, this hot. Extreme. There is often a lag in the reporting of heat-related deaths. So we may see some numbers a little later in the season

Starting point is 01:09:51 connected to that, but we are doing extensive outreach. As you noted, this is the fifth day of this heat wave. This is the second heat wave of the summer, which is still young. So we're doing a lot of outreach to try to prevent those deaths. All right, get to us with anything that you hear as soon as you get it. Oh my goodness. Hopefully a lot of people getting to cooling centers. I know they're all over the city. So this report said no one's dying. There's no one dead. The lady's like, yeah, it's okay.

Starting point is 01:10:20 Well, maybe it's coming. But so but, oh my God, oh my God, those poor New Yorkers of color, oh my God, shut up. You people are horrible. No worse than Deutsche Welle because they like this word unprecedented. With extreme temperatures across the globe, last month became the hottest June ever measured breaking last year's record. June ever measured breaking last year's record and as he oh yeah yeah it's it's never been cooler in June and July in Texas so I don't know where you're measuring but it's great here measures breaking last year's record and as heat waves continue into July people in many countries are struggling to cope with the health effects like in North America, where many cities are now experiencing unprecedented hot weather.

Starting point is 01:11:06 Unprecedented, John? It's not unprecedented! 51 degrees Celsius. Counting. People in Mexico's northern state of Baja, California, are used to soaring temperatures in the middle of the summer. But this time they exceeded the average readings by nearly 10 degrees, making new records and bringing more hardship. At my age, it's very difficult. I'm 72 years old and I've lived here for 50 years.

Starting point is 01:11:36 How do you deal with the heat? Well, I spend some time in an air conditioned room and outside. That's what we do. Climate scientists say not only the temperatures are getting higher but also the stretches of hot days are getting longer. In Portland in the US state of Oregon people are trying to cool down as the city sizzles with temperatures reaching 39 degrees celsius or 100 fahrenheit. Oh and they got pictures of kids playing in the water.

Starting point is 01:12:06 That's what you do. That's what you do. You go in the air conditioning, you play in the water, that's what you do. This fear mongering, unprecedented, no, lie. It's just not true. It's not true. I did get a nice whistleblower clip,

Starting point is 01:12:22 which I had not expected. Now, of course I've been tracking chem trails for the longest time. I'm sorry, geoengineering projects. And before you, before you go, uh, before you go on, I just checked it. So right now it's noon in Portland 74. 100! 74. This is a military veteran who is a whistleblower interviewed on the street. I think this was a whistleblower hearing by some German podcaster or some dude.

Starting point is 01:12:57 So here with Kristin Megan, she's a military veteran, right? Yes. I was in the US Air Force for nine years. Wow. And you came out and blew the whistle on Force for nine years. Wow and you came out and blew the whistle on geoengineering, things that you witnessed were going on. Can you give us a real nutshell? Absolutely, basically I had heard of what many people know as a term chemtrails. I worked in a job called bio environmental engineering and I figured I thought that was insane and why would

Starting point is 01:13:24 we do something like that modify the weather by using hazardous materials in our atmosphere so and actually the process of trying to debunk it or disprove it I realized it was actually coming right out of my office as I was one of the people that was approving the chemicals and it really shook the core of my oath and I did a lot of sampling to a lot of investigation and I blew the whistle and I got out and I've now used my credentials, my oath and my powers for good to help people understand it's very real. It's now openly admitted. There are multiple forms of weather modification. I specifically found the one of stratosphere aerosol injection and collectively around the globe we have to understand that it is now being admitted

Starting point is 01:14:05 because they're saying it's combating climate change. Well, the climate change we need to be worried about is man-made climate engineering, also known as geoengineering. And when you say you had chemicals being pumped into the air, what kind of chemicals are they putting out that rain down on humanity basically? Nanoparticulate metals like we had different sulfates and barium and stromium. I know it's probably changed over time. I know they use silver iodide for certain things but these are the odd part of it was the quantities that I saw

Starting point is 01:14:34 them coming in, the form that they were coming in and it's the same type of materials that I was trying to engineer out of the workplace to substitute with safer materials. And when you notice that the, what's called the safety data sheet, the information about a chemical of what personal protective equipment to wear, how do you dispose of it, how do you pack it to ship it. When key information is missing, I ask questions and my questions led to demonization

Starting point is 01:14:57 and I knew I found something I shouldn't have. Barium, that doesn't sound good. She said stromium, I think. And barium. What's stromium? I know she said barium, but what's stromium? Do you have any idea? I've never heard of it.

Starting point is 01:15:16 Stromium. Stromium. It is an element. Okay. Doesn't tell. This is, is named after Strontian. Oh, it's a small town in Scotland. That's no good. Do you think she meant Strontium?

Starting point is 01:15:36 She said Stromium. Stromium. So she's the big expert and she said Stromium. I just, sketchy reporting. Maybe you're supposed to swallow the N in the T, Stromium. I just, it's some sketchy reporting. Maybe you're supposed to swallow the N in the T of Stromium. Well, I didn't take into account the possibility that she, yes, with today's pronunciation it's always, yes. Yes.

Starting point is 01:15:58 Alkaline earth metal strontium. Strontium is maybe what she was talking about. You know what that is? Yeah. yeah. The strontium was the big, was the element that got radio, easily made radioactive. And we had strontium-90 in the atmosphere

Starting point is 01:16:14 for years when there was atmospheric nuclear testing. And that was one of the reasons they were, actually during the 50s and 60s, they were testing milk products because the strontium would get into the soil, the cows would eat it, and the strontium-90 would get into milk products and they'd be poisoning the country.

Starting point is 01:16:31 So they had to stop nuclear testing. They stopped the chemtrails. They had to stop, but well, yeah. Well, strontium and the strontium-90 aren't the same product. Well, luckily all of this climate change, as we know, really comes from burning fossil fuels, driving cars, no good, we have to stop that.

Starting point is 01:16:50 We got to go to wind and solar and well, it's- Walking, bicycling. Yes, it seems like in California, at least we've reached peak solar. Across California, it's a common sight. Rows of suburban homes top with solar panels. But as the state works towards its ambitious clean energy vision, an almost counterintuitive problem has emerged.

Starting point is 01:17:12 California is at times generating too much solar, meaning loads of good clean energy is going to waste. Since solar power relies on the sun, it's often the middle of the day on days when it's not too hot that you can run into this issue of essentially having too much solar. People aren't home, they're not running their ACs, and the system can generate more than the state can use. This imbalance has been dubbed the duck curve. It's belly, the time of day when solar production can exceed demand. So that's the duck curve? That's the deck curve. Yeah, there it is. Inside California's independent grid operator, CEO Elliot Mainzer showed us how they

Starting point is 01:17:49 manage the state's electricity in real time. There is solar energy right now that's essentially being thrown away. You know, the bottom line is that there are times when we do not have the demand for electricity for the full production of the solar fleet. Sometimes we're able to export it, and there are those times under certain extreme conditions when we do have to curtail it. When you say curtail, you mean throwing it away?

Starting point is 01:18:11 We say sending dispatch instructions to those fleets to reduce their generation, yes. In recent years, the amount of renewable energy curtailed, most of it's solar, has skyrocketed, both from oversupply and so called congestion when there's more electricity than the transmission lines in some areas can handle. Where are the batteries? We were promised batteries. There's a lot of promises that weren't kept. We're supposed to have. Meanwhile our

Starting point is 01:18:40 prices of energy in California per kilowatt hour are out of this world. You have no idea. Well, give me an example. What do you think? I don't have the numbers in front of me because I was not expecting it, but believe me. Have you seen your energy prices go up in your own home there? Yeah, they've gone up probably over the last two years. They've almost doubled.

Starting point is 01:19:03 Wow. You don't even have air conditioning. No, I got a couple of just Beelink computers and that's all it takes. Yeah. Those Beelings though, they'll suck it right up. How about that Nock? That thing's probably an energy suck. Shit things as a hog.

So a lot of these mail things go back and say, this is a real address and they send it and they get a bounce. They say, ah, this is bullshit. Spam. Spam. Yeah. Hmm. Well, I'm sorry to hear that. Starting point is 01:21:32 You could never do in the early days of MailChimp. This could never happen. Why not? Because MailChimp did that check itself and said, yeah, this address is no good. And you'd have to fix it. But now they don't have an error message for it. They don't care.

Starting point is 01:42:21 ramp up their industrial production, amid threats from China and Russia, and the US rolling out a new move to prevent China from flooding US markets. NTD's White House correspondent Iris Tao brings us this report. As world leaders gather here in DC for the NATO summit, President Biden's calling on these leaders to produce more defense equipment more quickly

Starting point is 01:42:41 as Russia is making more weapons with the help from China. Here's President Biden speaking at a working session this morning. Watch. They've, they're significantly ramping up their production of weapons, munitions and vehicles. And they're doing it with the help of China, North Korea and Iran. We cannot, in my view, we cannot allow the alliance to fall behind. And President Biden also highlights the tens of billions of dollars of investments that

Starting point is 01:43:08 the US is making in our defense manufacturing. President Biden in recent months has been increasingly warning that the Chinese communist regime is providing Russia with materials and equipment used in the war against Ukraine. Yeah, this was a big deal around the world. If you don't mind me interjecting a short one minute clip from France 24, this was a big deal around the world. If you don't mind me interjecting a short one-minute clip from France 24, this looks more and more like the pivot to the Indo-Pacific is taking place. A stern rebuke from NATO as allies gather in Washington. The military alliance called out the world's second largest economy for its no-limits partnership with Russia.

Starting point is 01:43:43 China has become a decisive enabler of Russia's war against Ukraine. And China's support increases the threat Russia poses to Euro-Atlantic security. Allies have stated clearly that China cannot enable the largest conflict in Europe in recent history without this negatively impacting their interest and reputation. It didn't take long for Beijing to hit back at NATO. China warning the Alliance against provoking a confrontation over its ties to Moscow. It is obvious to the international community who is finding flames and adding fuel to the

Starting point is 01:44:23 fire in the prolonged Ukraine crisis. We urge NATO to reflect on the root causes of the crisis and its own actions, listen carefully to the just voices of the international community, and take practical actions to defuse the situation rather than shift in blame. They're setting it up, teeing it up for Trump. Big ships, beautiful subs. I'd like to ask the question because just within just the last year, they supposedly were talking to China about not helping Russia and the Chinese, yeah, we're not doing anything.

Starting point is 01:44:57 And now all of a sudden they're like in bed with Russia helping them in this war in Ukraine. I don't think that's true. I think this is a lie. That's what the Chinese dude just said. He said, look at your own stuff, man. You're the ones that started this. Kind of. That's kind of what he said. Yeah. Okay. Let's go to part two. In addition to protecting Europe, the NATO secretary general on Wednesday emphasized the need to maintain a focus on the Indo-Pacific. And we will reinforce our partnerships in the Indo-Pacific to push against the

Starting point is 01:45:29 growing alignment of Russia, China, Iran and North Korea. It seems like a lot of the reporting out of this Disney celebration was about China. At least that's what is what is say North Korea and Russia from the Pacific side have to do with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization NATO and what does NATO stand for? It stands for North Atlantic. What is that? What is what are these guys trying to butt into? They want to have Japan join NATO now? Is that what it, where this is headed? You know, it's-

Starting point is 01:46:08 Philippines join NATO now? Is that what's gonna happen? I wish I had clipped it out of the MSNBC Morning Joe interview. No, it was at the- I can't remember what interview it was, but President Biden said, I expanded NATO! Yes, he did. No, we had that clip. In the clips of, in the clips I had, it was in there. He expanded NATO. Yeah, into Ukraine.

Starting point is 01:46:35 Douche. Who needs this aggravation? Okay, part three. In their final joint statement to be released this week, NATO leaders are expected to call out China's threats to Western countries. And President Biden will hold a press conference at the NATO summit on Thursday,

Starting point is 01:46:49 and he's expected to cover both domestic and foreign topics. And in another move to counter China, the Biden administration on Wednesday announced new tariffs targeting steel and aluminum routed through Mexico. And that's a move to prevent China from circumventing existing U.S. tariffs to export its cheap, state-stubsidized metals to the US.

Starting point is 01:47:07 The administration says these steps are all to prevent China from harming American workers, especially in states like Ohio and Pennsylvania. Yeah, all political. All political. Political virtues. Well, that was like, that's political for Ohio and Pennsylvania. Yeah, of course it is. It's showboating.

Starting point is 01:47:24 Meanwhile, I have two more clips. Meanwhile, because of this event and Biden getting all this attention, we had to have showboaters. First, the senators start making some racket, and I have that clip. That says congressional leadership from both parties met with Zelensky and NATO leaders.

Starting point is 01:47:53 Did you miss that part of the interview? That's the congressional leadership from both parties met with Zelensky and NATO leaders. Entities Washington correspondent Luis Martinez has the details of the high profile meetings happening on the sid details of the high-profile meetings happening on the sidelines of the NATO summit.

Starting point is 01:48:09 A group of bipartisan senators led by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell met with NATO leaders this Wednesday morning on the sidelines of the NATO summit. Also this Wednesday morning, Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg praised the bipartisan nature of US Congressional support towards NATO. And in the US Congress there is strong bipartisan support for NATO. US security interest is to have a strong NATO, strong bipartisan support and that European allies are stepping up investing more.

Starting point is 01:48:39 I expect that the United States will remain a strong ally regardless of the outcome of the elections. A couple of things. First, what's this sidelines nonsense? Why isn't that front and center? Sides on the sidelines, like on the QT. They did the same thing with the second clip, which is the House guys. Just play that when you talk.

Starting point is 01:48:57 Speaker of the House Mike Johnson is also set to meet with NATO leaders, in particular Greek Prime Minister, the President of the Czech Republic,, the newly elected prime minister of the United Kingdom. Senate leadership also met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Zelensky presented Senator Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell with the Medal of the Order of Merit first class in recognition of their support of Ukraine. Zelensky also met with Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, but not all House Republicans were pleased with the Speaker's decision. I think Speaker Johnson, instead of meeting with Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, should

Starting point is 01:49:30 be more focused on doing everything he can to make sure the SAVE Act, which would protect our elections across the country, is made into a law. Speaker Johnson could be using his, I mean one of the most powerful positions in the country to do things like that instead of meeting with speakers, I mean President Zelensky Talking about sending more of our hard-earned tax dollars over there. It's ridiculous Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urged US lawmakers not to wait until the November general elections to continue providing the necessary tools for Ukraine to counter Russian aggression. So I see you have save act clips. We'll get to that in a minute.

Starting point is 01:50:12 So why wasn't Ruta there? Isn't this where they should introduce him? It was like the next guy, the next big man on campus. I mean, I saw no footage of him, on campus. I mean, I saw no footage of him, which I found to be odd. I don't get that. Well, they wanted to focus on Stoltenberg because everyone had to give each other a bunch of awards. So Stoltenberg got an award. Biden put some sort of a thing, a reef around his neck or something, a noose. I'm not sure what it was, but they threw it around over his head. I got this report from France 24, the big ticket announcement. There was a big, speaking of Disney, it was an A ticket ride.

Starting point is 01:50:52 Well, Ukraine is obviously a big focus of the NATO summit that will be on today in Washington. And we're going to talk more about that now with NATO specialist Mark Weber, who joins me from the University of Birmingham. Mark, will anything concrete on Ukraine come out of this summit? Do you think, could there be more military aid? There will certainly be an announcement of military aid. The figure that's being kicked around at the moment

Starting point is 01:51:16 is some 40 billion euro. It's not entirely clear what that's made up of and how it is to be funded. And as recently as the secretary general's press conference a couple of days ago, there was some uncertainty as to exactly what it will entail. But I imagine there will be a big ticket announcement using some sort of figure and some sort of announcement with a detail as to exactly how it's to be funded and what it is to be spent on coming after the summit itself. We know exactly how it's funded. It's

Starting point is 01:51:50 funded from the Russian money that has been confiscated. Although it was an interesting... Yes? I want to correct something you said. It's the E-ticket that's the high end ticket, not the A ticket. Thank you. Because somebody would write in on that. Yeah, they can write in anyway. That's true. But with that voice, Zero Hedge had a report that the Saudis apparently threatened to sell European bonds. Yep. If the Russian assets were confiscated. Now they've been confiscated. the Saudis apparently threatened to sell European bonds

Starting point is 01:52:25 if the Russian assets were confiscated. Now they've been confiscated, so I don't know, does that mean that they also can't use the money? They didn't confiscate the Russian money. Just the profits. Just the profits from the money. Can Russia have the money back then if it's not confiscated?

Starting point is 01:52:42 No. I don't know what the deal is with this, but this is all bad. Bad for the world economy. Well, but yes. It is. But that's the number, I mean, 40 billion euros. I mean, yeah, you can finagle that little stretching, get it to $50 billion, which the US is going to loan or going to lend, should say and then we'll get it later again our money is fine you go ahead house money and Anthony Anthony did make an announcement which puzzled the Dutch also pleased to announce that as we speak the transfer of f-16 jets is underway, coming from Denmark, coming from the Netherlands, and those jets,

Starting point is 01:53:29 those jets will be flying in the skies of Ukraine this summer to make sure that Ukraine can continue to effectively defend itself against the Russian aggression. So in the Dutch press, which I can read and I do read. And of course the Dutch press was, the Dutch are not concerned about this because they're all just bummed out about the sports ball loss. But there was an article that says, well, yeah, we can pack them up in containers,

Starting point is 01:53:55 but we got no one to train you. I hope, how are they gonna, how are you gonna train everybody over there? All right, well, here's your jets. Well, no, that they've been trained. I have a similar report, but it was a little more complete. The F-16 clip. Well, I'm just telling you what the Dutch news media is saying. They're saying we got no one to train them on. The first batch of American built F-16 fighter jets is on its way to Ukraine to help counter the Russian onslaught.

Starting point is 01:54:25 Secretary of State Antony Blinken made the announcement today during the NATO summit. As we speak, the transfer of F-16 jets is underway, coming from Denmark, coming from the Netherlands. Those jets will be flying in the skies of Ukraine this summer to make sure that Ukraine can continue to effectively defend itself against the Russian aggression. Ukraine has long been asking for the F-16 jets to upgrade its air force. The nation's first group of fighter pilots received training earlier this year. In a post on X, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the latest weapons transfer is a, quote, clear signal that Russia's ability to terrorize Ukrainian people,

Starting point is 01:55:09 cities and communities will continue to reduce. NATO members have already sent out several strategic air defense systems to help the war-torn nation. And more aid is expected to be announced during this week's summit. So going back to what Gash told us, you know, former naval pilot, even if you have the jets, even if you've trained the pilots, you need runways, you need facilities, you need hangars. These things won't last five minutes. I agree. Those jets, they might as well just give them to the Russians. They'll be blown up on the ground. Ridic the Russians. They'll be blown up on the ground.

Starting point is 01:55:45 Ridiculous. They probably will be blown up on the ground. Some kind of top gun fantasy. They won't even get in the air. It's a top gun fantasy they have. This was part of what the meeting was really about. Olivia, what progress do world leaders hope to make on the situation in Ukraine? And what's at stake for the president?

Starting point is 01:56:02 There's been a lot of pushback from Republicans here in the United States in both the Senate and in the Congress over funding for Ukraine. Tell us what the stakes are. Absolutely, Vlad. It's great to be with you. Good morning. Well, we actually just heard moments ago from Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who announced that F-16 fighter jets are finally on their way to Ukraine.

Starting point is 01:56:22 They're being sourced from Denmark and the Netherlands. And he said they're expected to be flying in Ukraine's skies later this summer. That's, of course, in addition to this more robust package of air defense capabilities that President Biden announced last night that crucially includes those Patriot battery systems that President Zelensky has been appealing for for months as Russian missile attacks have been unrelenting across the country. Secretary Blinken also laid out additional elements of the overall package that Ukraine can ultimately expect to receive coming out of this summit.

Starting point is 01:56:56 He noted that there would be a dedicated NATO liaison officer now stationed in Kiev and said that Ukraine's eventual membership path would be a quote Strong robust well-lit bridge now We know that that membership is not currently on the table and we haven't yet seen the full communique That the Alliance is working on members are still hashing out that language To be finalized in the coming days of this summit a well lit bridge Yes, I expanded NATO. And right on cue, we got to blame the Russians for killing children. Tonight Ukraine is reeling after a ruthless Russian missile attack on a children's hospital

Starting point is 01:57:36 in the capital city of Kiev. Nearly 40 civilians were killed and more than 170 injured in missile strikes all across Ukraine. CBS' Rami Anasensio tonight has disturbing images of the aftermath. More than 40 different kinds of Russian missiles rained down on Ukraine's capital and four other cities. This projectile slowed down for clarity, unmistakable in this morning's rare daylight assault, which devastated apartments, office buildings, and the country's biggest pediatric hospital in Kiev. Rescuers carried

Starting point is 01:58:11 out cancer patients as other children fled still connected to intravenous drips. I could not think there could be attacks on the hospital with sick children, said this mother. No words, even swear words, can describe it. But what matters most is that they're alive," said this father of his wife and son. Volunteers frantically sifted through the rubble of what once was the hospital's dialysis department looking for survivors. Russia denied it targeted the hospital. Ukraine said it found remnants of a Russian cruise missile. "'Beyond any doubt, we are going to answer these savages from Russia, said Ukraine's President

Starting point is 01:58:47 Volodymyr Zelensky, visiting neighbouring Poland. Russia targeted Zelensky's hometown of Kriviry, killing nearly a dozen people and injuring almost four times as many. Today's deadly Russian braj across eastern and central Ukraine raises questions about the country's air defenses. One day before Zelensky meets NATO leaders in Washington to discuss how to strengthen them. There was a report, and I had to take the Russian side on this, but that claims by doing

Starting point is 01:59:21 some forensics that that hospital was hit by one of the defensive missiles that went astray. Yes, I have boots on the ground from our fine military producers who like to send me stuff. So what was happening is the Russians were targeting the airport, The Russians were targeting the airport, probably to stop the stupid F-16s from being able to land or to be deployed from there. And it was Patriot missiles that were intercepting the incoming. And so it intercepted one of these Russian, I don't know if it was a cruise missile, but intercepted one of them. And that's when part of, probably both came down on the hospital. So, but you know, that is immediately, and war sucks. I mean, this is what happens in war. Maybe you should give up this stupid war. Just a thought.

Starting point is 02:00:22 Yeah, I know. Pipe dreams. Pipe dreams everywhere. Weird. Pipe dreams everywhere. You know, and Nora was almost crying there. Yeah, well, this is exactly what happens. So you announced that you're going to send some F-16s. What do they do? Well, you know what? We don't really, you know, we're going to make sure you can't put them there.

Starting point is 02:00:46 So we'll take out your airport, get rid of all that. Good to go. And then, yeah, well, if you're shooting them down, then stuff happens. So it's, you're not wrong as far as I'm concerned on this being an unfortunate part of war, but there was no direct targeting like, oh, these Russians just want to kill children. Meanwhile, the Prince of Peace, Victor Orban, is getting raked over the coals for having the audacity to try and create some kind of peace with Putin.

Starting point is 02:01:22 Oh no, DeWelt even sat down with him. I only got kind of the intro to it. It's in the show notes. It's worth watching the whole half hour because here's a guy and this, you remember he made the deal. They wanted his vote and that final vote was about the interest on the frozen money. Do you remember that? The European Parliament or the council, whatever it was? Bagley. Right. And then he was the last one to go and like, oh, he made some kind of deal.

Starting point is 02:01:54 Well, the deal he made, I think, is that he is, of course, they have the rotating presidency. And I think, I don't know if he's double crossing on the deal or what happened exactly, but he's really trying to create a diplomatic communication with Putin to stop this. And he says, if we don't, it's going to get far worse. Mr. Prime Minister, thank you for having us here. The whole EU is talking about you again. I see furious statements from various leaders, Olaf Scholz, Ursula von der Leyen, Kaya Kalas,

Starting point is 02:02:31 and just a few of the reactions about your trip to Moscow to meet Putin. What did you want to achieve? The Hungarian rotating presidency started 1st of July this year, which means that we have to have the European Union to work better and to achieve certain goals. This is a very technocratic approach. Dossiers, legislatives, competitiveness, very important issues. But we can't neglect the fact that we are living in a very special time. This is wartime. So I think the presidency of the European Union, I mean the European Council, simply cannot afford not to deal with how to get closer

Starting point is 02:03:16 to peace and whether is there any chance to close the war, ceasefire or peace talks. So if any rotating European presidency of the Council would not deal with that, that would be hypocrisy. So I have a strong moral and political motivation that we have to do something. And my estimation is that in the forthcoming two, three months, till the American election, what will happen on the front line? It will be far worse than it was up to now. Why do you think so?

Starting point is 02:03:50 More weapons are there and the Russians are moving consistently ahead. So the energy of the confrontation, the number of deaths, the lost lives, the casualties will be more brutal than it was in the last seven months, even the previous period was also very brutal. So what is ahead of us is far worse than we think now. So my motivation is that if we would like to do something, and I wish so, and to change from war policy, war supporting policy, to other to the peace policy, this is the right time to do so. The question is how we can do that. Well, he's at least trying.

Starting point is 02:04:32 At least there's one guy out there and they, whoa, they're all mad at him. What are you, what are you doing? Didn't you get your check? Unbelievable. He also, and I realize it's a little hard to understand him, although I think it's funny he talks about the American Erection, which is probably the problem, but that is a problem. Our American Erection is a problem everywhere in the world.

Starting point is 02:04:53 But he also had this document and I'm not sure exactly what venue he was in where he held up this document from Soros. Have you seen this? No, I'm not familiar with what he's referring to. Okay, it's a document from Soros which was the plan to flood the EU with at least 1 million asylum seekers every single year and this document is from 2015. He says Esselam but he means asylum. It's shorter than this previous one. I don't remember how Mr. George Soros published his plan in English in the Project Syndicate

Starting point is 02:05:30 publication. It was done 2015, September 26th. And he published a plan. He said that he is my, I'm quoting, he writes the six components of my comprehensive plan. I'll just quote two or three points on that. First is, he said very clearly, 2015, that quoting again, EU has to accept at least a million asylum seekers annually. That was the first point. Second, he said, unequaled financing is critical. And he proposed to issue long-term euro bonds for financing the migration crisis and the

Starting point is 02:06:15 migrants' social and welfare taking care when they arrive to the European Union. So there's Soros' plan all along. Yeah. So there's Soros' plan all along. Yeah, we're going to flood the EU with asylum seekers and we're going to finance taking care of them with euro bonds. Well that's his business. That's his business. That's literally what he does. Oh, I got a great idea.

Starting point is 02:06:39 I'm going to make a killing on this stuff. I'm not getting into this bond here. Now we're going to force that. Maybe he wrote the bond for all I know. That guy's no good. And you see his son has proposed to Uma Abedin? Yeah. She gets around. There's something's up with her.

Starting point is 02:06:58 Well, it's now we're connecting, you know, we bring the Clintons back into the cash. Yeah, yeah, definitely that. connecting, you know, we bring the Clintons back into the cash. Yeah. Yeah, definitely that. Yeah. I don't know what to make of that. Of Uma and Alex? Yeah.

Starting point is 02:07:15 Honestly, I look at him, I think he looks gay. I mean, I know I'm judging. Well, she was with Hillary for a long time. She may be gay, maybe a gay, it may be at one of those convenient marriages. The two gays marry each other. I thought that only happened in Hollywood. Well, yeah, then they had to have a trans kid

Starting point is 02:07:38 to make it work. Speaking of Hollywood, you know, Alec Baldwin is on trial for shooting and killing his director. The cinematographer. Yeah, cinematographer. I was desperately looking for, I'm quite sure at one point, just the irony of it, I'm sure that somewhere he did Trump on Saturday Night Live about, I could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue.

Starting point is 02:08:02 Yeah, he probably did. Yeah, well, I know he did Trump. He did a poor job of Trump. But the irony of, you know, perseflage Trump about being able to shoot anybody and getting away with it. And here he is on trial for shooting somebody and probably going to get away with it, although I'm, I don't think he meant it, obviously. I know. Well, he didn't mean it, but it was careless.

Starting point is 02:08:30 I mean, it's homicide. You can't just, if you get into a car wreck and somebody dies and you get vehicular manslaughter, you didn't mean it. You didn't mean to kill anybody, but you're still stuck with the charges. Of course, we have wall to wall to wall coverage of Alec Baldwin shooting and manslaughtering one person hurting another and this 38 seconds of news. We just got the official numbers from the Chicago Police Department

Starting point is 02:08:57 CPD reports a total of 109 people shot over the July 4th weekend. 19 of those people were killed. That far surpasses the numbers we saw over the July 4th weekend last year. Both the police superintendent and the mayor call the situation unacceptable. At the same time, they are sticking with their crime fighting strategy. They say they made adjustments including changing officer shifts based on what they saw on the holiday itself and they reiterated this cannot be just a police problem. The hundred and four people shot and like ah just a toss away. You know we got 30 seconds to fill until until the commercial break throw this one in and then do a whole yes well that's the same I got a cut I got a couple of these crime stories that

Starting point is 02:09:48 are funny if you want to call it funny funny I got the robbery story which I think is a winner oh yeah yeah three suspects have been charged in connection to an attempted armed robbery which led to the death of a foreign national New Zealand business executive Doug McKay and his wife Patricia were targeted outside a mall in Newport Beach. The suspects reportedly demanded the expensive items they were carrying and then proceeded to kill Patricia by running her over with a car. Doug McKay was the former chair of the Bank of New Zealand and a friend to the nation's prime minister. The leader of the robbery crew, 26-year-old Leroy Ernest McCrary, had been on probation. He reportedly donged prison time in another case.

Starting point is 02:10:33 Did you hear about the carjacking? I got the carjacker clip. Oh, okay. Is it under carjacker? Yes, carjacker. Here we go. A deputy US marshal shot a carjacking suspect while on duty near Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor's D.C. home.

Starting point is 02:10:52 Early last Friday morning, police say the 18-year-old suspect approached a deputy marshal and pointed a gun at him in an apparent carjacking attempt. The marshal drew his service weapon and fired several shots at the teen. Law enforcement officials say the attempted carjacking was random and it does not appear that Sotomayor was being targeted. The suspect was treated for his injuries and now faces several charges, including armed carjacking. You know, what was more, I think my clip is a little more interesting with some detail about, so these are officers who are supposed to protect the Supreme Court justice. And just listen to this, this is from ABC.

Starting point is 02:11:34 New details emerging today about an alarming incident involving gunfire near the home of Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. It was just after 1. 17 a.m. Friday morning when authorities say Kentrail Flowers, 18 approached a car sitting in front of Sotomayor's home. Police say Flowers walked to the driver's door and pointed a gun at the occupants attempting a carjacking. But what he didn't realize is that the people in the car were US Marshals, checking the home of the Supreme Court Justice. Starting point is 02:12:05 One of the deputy US Marshals firing four shots, wounding flowers in the mouth. So four shots and all you do is just zing them in the mouth? And you're a US Marshal? Back to training. I would think. That's not a good... The guy's moving around a lot. Not anymore. Friend of the show is quite good friends with one of the astronauts on the International Space Station.

Starting point is 02:12:39 He says, you know, this whole thing about they can't come back, he says, this is bull crap. There are 12 ships docked to this thing on what they call the deep end of the pool, the deep end of the International Space Station that could easily take them back. But this is, of course, as this report shows, a much bigger issue for Boeing. A mission only scheduled for eight days now rolls into its fifth week as the Boeing Starliner's return journey has been repeatedly postponed due to leaks and thrust of failures. Astronauts Barry Wilmore and Sunita Williams are confident they can return home after testing.

Starting point is 02:13:20 In the meantime, their spirits are high aboard the International Space Station. We've been thoroughly busy up here, integrated right into the crew, and every about once a week we get to jump into Starliner and talk to our control team there. The system that enables the capsule to back away from the space station into the Earth's atmosphere is faulty. Boeing have branded this moment as advantageous, a chance to do further checks while the craft is still in orbit. This is the world of test. This is a tough business that we're in. Human spaceflight is not easy in any regime and there have been multiple issues with every spacecraft that's ever been designed and that's the nature of what we do. That mantra you've heard, failure is not an option.

Starting point is 02:14:06 That's why we are staying here now. We did have some degradation in our thrusters, and we know that, and that's why we're staying, because we're gonna test it. That's what we do. A year behind schedule and $1.5 billion over budget, this NASA Boeing mission had experienced technical issues before it left Earth. After multiple incidents and two high-profile crashes in recent years, Starliner,

Starting point is 02:14:32 Boeing's first manned expedition, was pegged as a reputation rebuilder. With no timeline for return, the astronauts might have to jump aboard SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft to get home. Ooh, ooh. They're going to hitch a ride on Elon's ship? This is not good. Boeing, man, something's got to happen with them. How much hanky panky's going on with SpaceX? A lot. In other words, we had this, you know, this long time ago, the show maybe, I don't know,

Starting point is 02:15:09 10 years ago, we talked about the various weird crashes between Boeing and the Airbus operation. And there was something going on with these two battling for control of the air and the business. And now all of a sudden, it's SpaceX and Boeing, and Boeing's getting the short end of the stick. Makes you wonder. Additional Boeing news. A Boeing aircraft mechanic was sucked into the plane's engine.

Starting point is 02:15:44 In where was this? In Iran. They had like video, not of him getting sucked in but you know blood splatters everywhere. A lot of dudes standing around going dude well there's not much left of him. And a positive update for Boeing, not good for Southwest. You recall the Southwest plane that entered into a so-called Dutch role? Yes. So it turns out that it was not an issue with the, not a structural issue with the plane as Boeing makes it but on May 16th

Starting point is 02:16:27 Southwest had left this aircraft outside in New Orleans at the airport where there were 84 mile-an-hour winds and conclusion now from the NTSB is that the rudder was damaged during that storm. And that's why they had this issue. So it was more a Southwest mistake than anything. But that's no fun. Boeing sucks, DEI. I love that people always say, oh, it's DEI. Yeah, it is dangerous flying because of DEI. I love that people always say, oh, it's DEI. Yeah, it's dangerous flying because of DEI. No, no, it's just cutting

Starting point is 02:17:11 corners. I thought you were going to go somewhere from there. No, no, I think it can go all kinds of places, but I figured you might want to pick it up. Okay, well, let's go to the EPA and the fact that we're getting screwed by the government. What? EPA head Michael Regan answers questions

Starting point is 02:17:34 about the estimated $1.6 trillion in regulatory costs, which the agency has imposed during his three and a half years at the helm. $1.6 trillion of new federal regulatory costs. EPA head Michael Regan took questions from Congress Wednesday, a major theme, regulatory burden. One agency in less than four years has imposed more costs than the entire federal government did under the eight years of all things the Obama administration.

Starting point is 02:18:05 Representative Pat Fallon suggests the EPA has been overreaching. Rep Tim Burchett says complying with new rules increases costs for businesses. Your rule on line manufacturing plants imposes cost of 2.5 billion on a small industry with a $2.3 billion in revenue. Do y'all think it's necessary? Regan answered. The rule that has been proposed is done in a way that we believe maximizes protection from an environmental health standpoint. But as I mentioned to a colleague earlier, this is something that I would love for our

Starting point is 02:18:42 staffs to have a conversation about. Regan says his EPA tries to evaluate the burden of all its rules. And we weigh that against the opportunities for these companies to invest in new technologies that might provide efficiencies in some other areas, while also lowering the pollution burden on the environment. Rep. Byron Donalds voiced concerns that the EPA's Clean Power Plan regulates coal and natural gas too harshly. Under the EPA's Clean Power Plan 2.0, essentially coal will be regulated out of existence. Donalds asked whether the plan would raise power prices for poor families. Regan answered. These controlled

Starting point is 02:19:24 technologies don't have to be put in until 2020, 2031, 2032. So we're talking about some time down the road. Number two, all of our cost estimates say that the actions we're taking will only potentially increase price by less than 1%. Bull crap! What? What a ripoff. They're going to take coal offline and it's going to only increase the cost of power by 1% or 2%. That's just a blatant lie. And by the way, I think the one congressman who pointed out that there's, I forgot what business it was, had the entire business was a $.3 billion dollar industry and it had 2.5 billion in EPA fines.

Starting point is 02:20:10 How does that work? Well play your second clip and then I have a Boots on the Ground report. Okay. The Trump administration rolled back EPA rules considerably, cutting regulatory costs for businesses. Former Trump officials suggest he may do it again if re-elected. We would have significant impacts to our water quality. Emerging contaminants like PFAS would run amok. We would continue to have lead poisoned water all across the country.

Starting point is 02:20:39 Oh yeah, PFAS! We need money. The way he says it, they are poisoning the water. I mean, if you listen carefully to what he said, he says, oh, everything's going to run amok and we're going to have more poisoned water. We would have significant impacts to our water quality. Emerging contaminants like PFAS would run amok. We would continue to have lead poisoned water all across the country.

Starting point is 02:21:09 These guys are nonsense. Well, I got a note, boots on the ground from one of our producers, he's asked to remain anonymous. A soon to be former government employee boots on the ground. One of the senators short report after John mentioned his experience and perspective on working in the administrative state. I could not agree more and I'm ashamed that I have landed in such a dark place mentally during my tenure. Some background on me is I've worked in corporate finance, I notice I said finance, for nine years and for the last year I've been working for the state of Oregon. 32 year old working professional who wanted to test the

Starting point is 02:21:44 waters around working for the state. Here's my year old working professional who wanted to test the waters around working for the state. Here's my analysis. The main reason I'm reaching out is because I am part of Oregon's education agency. In my last year working for the state, I would like to summarize the following. Oregon has numerous workers who are well beyond working years.

Starting point is 02:21:59 There's someone here who's turning 75 and makes over $300,000, yet they do not use the computer since it's, quote, not something they can learn. Along with that, there are folks in leadership who talk about how their jobs are only performative. Our senior leadership team all makes well over $250,000 and some have no expertise or knowledge

Starting point is 02:22:22 around what their department does. We have one person who has held their position as department head for six years and they are just now discovering aspects of their department and are trying to write missing policy and procedures. Our procurement department is over a year behind getting money out the door. We are still trying to process contracts from last May. Our leadership and procurement department doesn't know the difference between a contract or a grant. I mean, it just goes on and on and on and on.

Starting point is 02:22:52 It's, it's, you know, the most recent jobs report, I believe something like 70% of the new jobs that were saved or created by the Biden administration were government jobs. Yeah. And he described exactly what's going on. This is a complete ripoff of the American taxpayer. We're being robbed, literally. Our constitutional lawyer Rob writes in with the first domino to fall for Chevron deference,

Starting point is 02:23:29 Chevron deference, the HHS regulation that would have withheld federal funding from states that refused to provide sex changes is now on hold nationwide. This case proves that the whole notion that we must trust agency experts with making decisions is bull crap. That's lawyer speak. It's just a way for the executive branch to override Congress and the judiciary. As Obama once quipped, we didn't need Congress because he's got a phone and a pen. And he says he expects an initial wave of suits seeking to overturn many types of regulations, but the courts can probably handle a lot of this. And of course we still have the, what's the other,

Starting point is 02:24:06 Skidmore deference to deal with, but it is starting. It is already starting. Well, the agencies will back off on their own. They have to, they want to keep their jobs. Yes, that's the reason. Yeah, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, be quiet, be quiet, don't make problems. So I don't think there's going to be that much of a burden on the courts. It's not really that kind of, it's not like the left have won per se because they have a long way to go now because what they've wound up with is an unprecedented situation, there's that

Starting point is 02:25:15 word again, where they now have to figure out how to govern with parties that don't even agree with each other. As you saw on Sunday, there's no block that is able to govern on its own, and this is a very unusual situation. We've never had this. It's unprecedented in France. And right now, every single block, no matter what you hear, has to negotiate and talk to the others. So yes, there's a lot of negotiations taking place. Can you tell me what is, according to you, what is going to happen according to you is it going to be a left-wing government? Center-right government a centrist government. What do you feel? It is still very early to say you have to move fast

Starting point is 02:25:54 But at the same time right now I don't see anyone making the steps necessary to form a coalition that would be broad enough So the other option is to form an agreement to govern, you know, with two different blocs, as you have in Germany, for instance, or had in Spain. Right now, what I know is that we've never had this, and we need to learn how to make compromises. People talk about a government of a technocrats in order to overcome political differences.

Starting point is 02:26:18 Is that a possibility? It is indeed a possibility, but I don't think it would be a good choice, because right now we had two elections, two very important ones, the European elections and now after the dissolution the Legislatives and I think people want to see their ideas in power even though you have maybe two different parties agreeing to govern together. This is gonna be just like Belgium where they had basically

Starting point is 02:26:40 no government. They have to form a coalition, but they can't. They can't without Le Pen. So they're going to do some kind of agreement, agreement to govern. This is not what the French want. Now it's going to be very left. Oh, yeah, but still they have to have the numbers and they don't seem to be able to have the numbers for a majority in parliament. have the numbers and they don't seem to be able to have the numbers for a majority in parliament.

Starting point is 02:27:05 But, you know, we can always just do what the Americans did with Trump. You could say it's been a bad week for Marine Le Pen. First, her far-right National Rally party came in third in legislative elections after many predicted it would win. Now the 2027 presidential hopeful is facing questions about the financing of her campaign in 2022, a race she lost to Emmanuel Macron. The probe was launched following a report by the National Commission on Campaign Accounts and Political Financing, whose role it is to scrutinize candidates' election expenses

Starting point is 02:27:39 and funding. Details are forthcoming, but prosecutors say they're looking into allegations of embezzlement, forgery, fraud and the acceptance of a loan by the campaign. Le Pen, who has run for president three times, has previously denied wrongdoing in connection with campaign financing. And it's not the first time she's faced such scrutiny. Ahead of Le Pen's 2017 presidential run, the national rally took out a 9.4 million euro loan from a Russian bank owned by a billionaire friend of Vladimir Putin.

Starting point is 02:28:11 The loan has since been repaid, but it prompted allegations that she and her party were under the Kremlin's influence. Accusation she denied at the time. Putin's puppet. Putin, Putin, Putin. Putin's puppet. That's how you do it. Just go in. Putin's puppet. Yeah, it works. So we still need to see if we can get the mail-in ballots going for everybody. I believe we have

Starting point is 02:28:35 a state of emergency in, I want to say Colorado for something. So whenever you know, whenever you have a state of emergency, then you can do mail-in ballots. That's always good. And let's take a look at New Jersey and New York, CDC. CDC says that cases of the dengue virus have increased, particularly in New Jersey and New York. 41 cases of the mosquito-borne illness have been reported in the Garden State. Pennsylvania has 25 reported illnesses while Delaware has four. Dengue fever is most common in tropical and subtropical areas of the world. There are more than 2,500 infections in the U.S. so far. Most people became sickened while traveling. Now we know that dengue fever was high on the list in the testing industrial complex.

Starting point is 02:29:24 So we'll see if that pans out. Yes. You heard the little… Yeah. People have been traveling abroad. I know. Yeah. I know.

Starting point is 02:29:34 It's bull crap. That's where you get dengue. Those mosquitoes, that's a very specific type of mosquito that has dengue. It's not every local mosquito. Yeah, but it doesn't matter. We just need a state of emergency for mail-in ballots. That's all you really need. How about them ballots?

Starting point is 02:29:50 Let's keep some other things alive. Let's keep people a little bit afraid. COVID cases are rising in 39 states across the country. This is a new variant is popping up in the US, but experts say hospitalizations and deaths are still low. ABC's medical contributor, epidemiologist Dr. John Brownstein joins me now for more on this. Dr. Brownstein, thanks for coming on. Let's just start with the basics. How worried should we be about this uptick in cases?

Starting point is 02:30:14 We've gone from concern to worry. I think it's a downgrade. Well, Diane, this is- Okay, wait, wait. I'm guessing in this clip, I haven't heard the clip, that there's no solid numbers, that he gives no numbers but percentages. Not even that. Well, Diane, this is all part of the normal cycle that we expect from COVID. We see these increases in the summer, mostly because of gatherings that are taking place, and we see this emerging new variant. And of course, now we're seeing these increases across the country.

Starting point is 02:30:45 We're flying blind a little bit because we're not really tracking cases. We're using wastewater as an indicator. But what we do know is that hospitalizations are still at record lows and that we're seeing those really among the elderly and the most vulnerable. And deaths also are incredibly low.

Starting point is 02:30:59 So this variant is spreading fast, but it's not creating severe illness and death, which is a good news for us. That's good news. We're testing the poop water. We know everything we know all. What is this new variant, which has been around for two months? So what do we need to know about the FLIRT variant?

Starting point is 02:31:15 So the FLIRT variant is a descendant of Omerkhan, and we've spoken many years about all these different variants. What we're talking about now is two sub variants, KP.2 and KP.3, and they're spreading quickly. In fact, I'm seeing in my family first cases of COVID ever. So this is a variant that's spreading fast, but what we know is it's not causing different symptoms and it's not creating more severe disease. So ultimately we're not increasingly worried, but we still have to continue to monitor these variants, understand the genetic makeup, but recognize that this is all part of the normal evolution of the virus.

Starting point is 02:31:47 And then this clip, which everyone's mocking this poor child woman, young woman. I find it incredibly sad. It sounds like she's vaccine injured, which, you know, long COVID is, you know, is to blame. But I think it's vaccine injury. Are you talking about Garner and Affleck's kid? Yeah, Violet Affleck, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Gardner's daughter at the LA Board of Supervisors meeting. Hi, Violet Affleck, Los Angeles resident, first time voter.

Starting point is 02:32:22 I'm 18. I contracted a post-viral condition in 2019. I'm okay now, but I saw firsthand that medicine does not always have answers to the consequences of even minor viruses. The COVID-19 pandemic has thrown the end to sharper relief. One in 10 infections leads to long COVID, which is a devastating neurological cardiovascular illness

Starting point is 02:32:39 that can take away people's ability to work, move, see, and even think, stands to exacerbate our homelessness crisis, as well as the suffering of many people in our city. It hits communities of color, disabled people, elderly people, trans people, women, and anyone in a public facing essential job the hardest. To confront the long COVID crisis, I demand mask availability, air filtration, and far UVC light

Starting point is 02:32:58 in government facilities, including jails and detention centers, and mask mandates in county medical facilities. We must expand the availability of high quality free tests and treatment and most importantly the county must oppose mask bans for any reason. They do not keep us safer. They make vulnerable members of our community less safe and make everyone less able to participate in Los Angeles together. Thank you. It's amazing that this COVID, I mean we're city, John, because we're not gay, we're not of color, we're not invalid. And so we have nothing to worry about.

Starting point is 02:33:30 It only hurts minorities in all sectors of minority-dom. This is child abuse of this child. And she has a mask on at the meeting. And she wears a mask all the time. If you ever see it, you find a picture of her without her mask is like pulling teeth. You can't do it. You know, who else?

Starting point is 02:33:48 Who else? It was some actress who was at the airport. And the other, the other child that would say I have three kids that the other one's a trans kid, of course, because in Hollywood you have to have a trans kid in your family so you can be with other. So you can go to the meeting. Go to the meetings. Yeah. And what's that?

Starting point is 02:34:06 Why was that cute? Um, she used to be cute. The actress with the blonde hair. Oh, that narrows it down. She's older now. Um, she was in the airport and she did like a, you know, a live or a, a Tik Tok or a reals. I have no idea what you're talking about.

Starting point is 02:34:27 And she's like, you know, I'm keeping my mask on. I forget who she is. People don't realize that when you have that, generally speaking, you're breathing most of the stuff you're breathing in as your own effluent. Morgan Fairchild. Starting point is 02:35:02 much longer. Project 2025. 2025. This is what they're going to kill us with. They want to kill black people. They're going to shoot you with Trump stormtroopers. Wasn't that what she said? Yeah. She said the stormtroopers are going to come and shoot you. Yeah. Project 2025 is going to kill everybody. And so this is the new, new narrative against Trump. Because the lies thing, that's not working anymore. Everyone's like, okay, whatever. He's a politician. Fine. So now it's Project 2025. And for some odd reason, Ben Shapiro winds up testifying before Eric Swalwell.

Starting point is 02:35:40 And Swalwell is no match for Benny Boy. I think Shapiro did a pretty good job on this one. You support Project 2025? I think like President Trump, I haven't looked all that deeply at Project 2025. But it seems that Democrats on this committee, sort of like Peter Pan

Starting point is 02:35:58 and Tinkerbell, if they say Project 2025 enough, their presidential candidate becomes alive again. And so- Well, let's just talk about pieces of it it and I guess you can tell me if you support it. You probably want less bureaucracy, right?

Starting point is 02:36:13 I do. I want less bureaucracy. You want more efficiency? I do. I want more efficiency. Do you want taxpayer money spent wisely? I do. Congrats on becoming a Republican.

Starting point is 02:36:23 My parents would be proud. Cutting Social Security, do you support that part of 2025? I'm not sure what project 2025's position on Social Security is. I'm in favor of the restructuring of Social Security along the lines of privatization and lowering and increasing the retirement age because you, as well as every other congressperson, know Social Security is going to go bankrupt and yet everyone seems to have an interest in lying about it for the next decade and a half until we have to take austerity measures or radically increase inflationary taxes. And bans against books about slavery, do you support that part?

Starting point is 02:36:54 Why would I possibly be in favor of bans about books about slavery? That would be absolutely ridiculous. What I am in favor of is the idea that school libraries should be able to make decisions along the lines of what exactly is appropriate for say a seventh grader and whether they ought to be treated to cartoons and genderqueer that's not quite the same thing. He just went on and on. Shapiro would actually be a pretty entertaining politician. It'd be a big step back and pay but he would be he would be fine. He's so sharp that I don't know why anyone even tries to take him on

Starting point is 02:37:25 He's too quick to bid it was always been I played a Shapiro clip on this show almost 15 years ago, and you kind of got on my case for it It was very you remember this that I got on your case for it. I do I do And it because I I can I didn't blame you because I thought you probably were correct, but this, when he was a kid, I mean, Shapiro's not that old and you go back 15 years and you know, he's like a kid. And so I had some clip and he was the same glib, fast talker and there's something about it you didn't like. And it was just, but I thought you were correct in the, in the complaint. And then we didn't play Shap't like. And it was just, but I thought you were correct in the complaint.

Starting point is 02:38:06 And then we didn't play Shapiro forever. And then he came up, he came around to being who he is today. Same guy. He is a fast talking, quick witted guy. He's not funny for a Jew. You'd think he'd be funny. No.

Starting point is 02:38:19 If he was funny, he'd be devastating. Yeah. He does need to get, well, he had a little bit of humor there. No, it's very little. It's not a good, a good Jewish humor is extremely cutting and biting. It's dynamite. It's the best.

Starting point is 02:38:38 And he's got none of that. He's just mostly an intellectual type. And he thinks, what he thinks is funny is usually juvenile. Let's do the scam, the Save Acts scam because I know nothing about this. Yeah, play these clips. I have two clips and that should summarize it, part one. And breaking news, the House has just passed a bill that would prevent non-citizens from voting in federal elections. Entities International correspondent Arian Pazdarp has the

Starting point is 02:39:08 details. Non-citizens can vote in some local elections across the US, for example in Washington DC, but a House bill introduced by Chip Roy of Texas would now prohibit them from voting in nationwide elections. The Safeguard American voter eligibility or SAFE Act aims to secure nationwide elections. The Safeguard American Vote Religibility or SAFE Act aims to secure nationwide elections. It would make it so that voters have to provide proof of US citizenship to cast ballots. And the rules are even stricter for people who want to sign up to vote. They need to present a US passport or a government-issued photo ID. And if the photo ID doesn't show the applicant's place of birth as the US then it must also be presented with a supporting document for

Starting point is 02:39:49 example a birth certificate or a naturalization certificate. Democrats say the bill isn't needed because there is no proof of widespread fraud being committed and that the US already has laws that prohibit non-citizen voting in nationwide elections. House Minority Whip Katherine Clark sent a letter to colleagues criticizing the bill, writing that a real ID driver's license, a tribal ID, or a military ID would be unacceptable unless coupled with additional documentation. This would be an extreme burden for countless Americans. A 2022 report by the non-profit Movement Advancement Project estimates that around 15 to 18 million adults in the U.S. don't have access to documents to prove their citizenship.

Starting point is 02:40:32 But Speaker Mike Johnson on Wednesday said it's what Americans want. Here's the number. Eighty-nine percent of Americans believe that only Americans should decide our elections. And that includes, by the way, 82 percent of Democrats, 80 percent of black and african-american voters, 78 percent of hispanic latino voters. All right so this bill is a fake. This is one of those little things these Democrats and the Republicans both try to pull on each other just to kind of embarrass the other side. of embarrass the other side. This is a, the counter to the, to the supposed bipartisan immigration reform bill that the Republicans voted no on because it

Starting point is 02:41:12 was a bull crap bill. It didn't have, it was just, Right, right. Which even Schumer voted no on. Yeah, even Schumer voted no on. His own bill, yeah. It's his bill. And so this was a, this is a phony baloney scam to make it, to show, hey look, the Democrats, they're voting there. And also there's a lot of research coming out,

Starting point is 02:41:33 I think it's all part of the same scheme, showing that they're interviewing people that are immigrants, that are living in the country illegally and they're all registered to vote. And the idea that Biden's gonna take the hordes that he's leading. The only reason he's letting immigration flow in is so they can all vote for Democrats, which we kind of subscribe to. Well, you keep saying it and I'm not saying it's not true, but I heard Jay Powell, I didn't clip it, but he was in Congress, you know, his little show, dog and pony show, and he's like, well, you know,

Starting point is 02:42:10 these little, again, he was, he said it before, oh, the, you know, the immigration is doing good. Just so I, you know, we're filling up all these jobs that nobody wants to do. Yeah, which I think is what suppresses the wages, which is what they want. You know, clip two of this and we can finish the conversation. Johnson recently published a report citing a 2014 study that analyzed the 2008 and 2010 elections, which concluded that the votes of non-citizens likely determined the outcome in certain areas.

Starting point is 02:42:39 Former President Trump has long supported the bill. On Wednesday morning, he said that Republicans should pass the Safe Act immediately. The bill is now heading to the Democrat-controlled Senate. I have a clip from C-SPAN, I think, about this bill. It's short. Republicans want to throw up barriers because when people vote, they lose. Let me be clear. They don't want you to vote.

Starting point is 02:43:02 They don't want to hear black voices, brown voices, LGBTQIA voices, young voices. Our fundamental access to our democracy is being politicized. And this xenophobic attack that we're debating today will make it harder for Americans to vote. My Republican colleagues will claim that requiring IDs is a small ask, but nearly 30 million people lack a valid driver's license. And about 15 to 18 million adults don't have access to documents proving their birth or citizenship. Americans don't need more obstacles.

Starting point is 02:43:32 It's already hard enough. How can you be trans and not have a birth certificate? I mean, this is all such a lie. No, it's all posturing. If there's 30 million people who don't have documentation, they're undocumented. There's your number, 30 million. Yeah, that's a good point. And that is a number that has cropped up. That exact number, 30 million.

Starting point is 02:44:01 That's how many people that are in the country undocumented. I have two more quickies. For some reason, AOC gets the push to go and file the articles of impeachment against two Supreme Court justices. New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez introduces articles of impeachment against two Supreme Court justices, Samuel mean, isn't that just a waste of cycle? They have cases before the court. The congresswoman has not filed articles of impeachment against them. So that must just be, I mean, isn't that just a waste of cycles? That's not going to happen.

Starting point is 02:44:51 No, it's not going to happen. It's going nowhere. She's just doing that as a showboating thing. I have... People actually spent more time doing their job instead of doing this sort of thing. They would probably get somewhere. What is her job? But then again, I've always had this theory when I was working for the administrative state,

Starting point is 02:45:09 it's like to put it, is that you want, you know, I would go to the mall. You're a fed. You're a fed. Don't encourage these people to do their work. It's a bad idea. Let them goof off because the less they do, the better off you are. I have two quick tech stories. So both Microsoft and Apple appear to be giving up their observer seat, whatever that means, on the open AI board of directors. Now they're saying, oh, you know, regulatory, it's going to be a regulatory issue. I don't know.

Starting point is 02:45:47 To me, it seems like they don't want to be around when the fallout happens. Does that make any sense to you? Well, there are liability issues when you're a, because when things collapse, shareholder lawsuits make your, I was told this by one of these executives at that level, that shareholder lawsuits make your, I was told this by one of these executives at that level, that shareholder lawsuits are not worth it. Some of the worst experiences you can have, you're in court all the time, you can't get anything done. And so yeah, you bail out before the going gets tough.

Starting point is 02:46:21 Well, it makes sense. We keep trying to identify the moment when it's all going to come crashing down. I just thought that was interesting that Microsoft, I mean, they have actual skin in the game, you know, Apple kind of, you know, they've got the open AI stuff in the, in the new iOS. But for them not to say, I mean, it's not even a vote, supposedly, not even a voting seat, just an observer's, if you don't even want to say, I mean, it's not even a vote, supposedly not even a voting seat.

Starting point is 02:46:45 Just an observer's seat. If you don't even want to be doing that, something smells. Well, that's beside the point. This is a great video of Sam Altman driving around, it must be San Francisco, in this massive supercar. I can't remember what it was called. Like Tarifogara something, something. I've never seen it before. It must be a $2 million car. Those Lamborghinis?

Starting point is 02:47:12 It's not a Lamborghini. No, no, it's something like special. It's almost like one of those Lotus deals that cost a million bucks. Yeah, and he looks like a douche in it. Starting point is 02:47:39 This security that we always have on our phones, you know, it's all locked up. You can't get it. And of course, everybody uses, you know, your face now to unlock your phone or your thumb. I thought this was a fun little, fun little news report. In a 49 page affidavit filed in DC Superior Court, investigators laid out a gruesome and diabolical scheme. DC police believe Fossil Tekelmariam had been dead inside his third floor apartment here on Peabody Street Northwest for about four days before his body was discovered.

Starting point is 02:48:14 According to a court affidavit filed in the case, he had suffered blunt force trauma to the head, he'd been stabbed, and his right thumb had been cut off. A witness told police that the thumb was used to gain access to a cash app and to buy liquor and drugs. I'm sorry that he's dead. Just cut off the thumb. Yeah that's the problem with the those fingerprint things. This is fantastic. All right. Got anything else?

Starting point is 02:48:52 Well, if you're going to beg me for begging you for one more, one more, one more. Let's do the Biden super cut on his background. Uh, okay. I was sort of raised in the Puerto Rican community. I had a very close relationship with the Greek American community. Uh, okay. I got raised in the black church. He knows I'm not kidding. The Persian culture is amazing. As a student of the Persian culture, I probably went to shul more than many of you. I come out of the black community.

Starting point is 02:49:34 The background of my family is Irish-American. Not fundamentally unlike the Palestinian people. I might say raised in the synagogues of my state. Everybody in town was either Polish or Italian. I grew up feeling self-conscious. My name didn't end in an S-K-I. I was raised in a neighborhood where I felt self-conscious. My name didn't end in O.

Starting point is 02:49:58 That's kind of how I was raised, like so many Americans of Irish heritage. In HBCU, in your home state, Mr. President. Let me tell you, forget about it. That's where I got raised, man. Just like rabbis, synagogues, and Jewish community centers in your hometown. And that's the tradition I got raised. Hardworking people, the middle class,

Starting point is 03:03:29 Well, I had one earlier and I forgot what it was It was something about the water filter or something. I'm gonna do the water filter one There's people to need to know this. Yes, and I'll have to give the background on it The product that we're looking at here is clearly filtered. And you can just go find it at clearly filtered dot com. And it's a water filter that lasts about a year. They're very expensive. It's very expensive.

Starting point is 03:03:54 But this is this water filter supposedly takes out fluoride and everything pretty much. It's a Berkey. The Berkey does that. Well, a lot of them don't. The Seaman The Berkey does that. The Seedman's Berkey. But here's the, all these water, where I got this tip from was from JC's wife, Jessie, who's kind of nuts about stuff because she's got all these allergies and she's got issues and she's was looking so she got me into different filters like I tried the zero filter and which I

Starting point is 03:04:29 I thought you liked the zero you used to be I did but then I find out doesn't take some things out this stuff does it feel like the PFS the PFS leaves the PFAS in there I don't know what that is the PFAS that's all that stuff they're lying about PFAS PFAS oh yeah I get to you problem I don't know what that is. The PFAS, that's all that stuff they're lying about. PFAS, PFAS. Oh yeah, I get it. I don't know. All I know is that Xero filters mostly for parts per million of dissolved solids.

Starting point is 03:04:53 It takes those out. But this takes out all kinds of stuff, supposedly. And filters last about a year. They're very expensive, but it lasts about a year or so, depending on how often you fill it. If you fill it daily, it'd probably about six to nine months. Uh, there's no way of really checking it, but the F, but this is the filter she finally concluded is the best one. The packaging stinks. The, the load of the container that holds the filter and the

Starting point is 03:05:24 rest, the lid doesn't fit properly and it will come off, but the water's delicious. So I'm going to promote this clearly filtered. Clearly filtered.
