Something like that. Yeah. I mean, there's probably like 100 similar level small cities in Florida. Similar. Something like that. St. Pete really small, but what's good about St. Pete is not cliqueish. Like, it's so small, but everybody's f*** with each other. Really? Like everybody at first cousins and cousins and family.

You know, it's got a little riffraff in between, but for the most part, St. Pete going to stick with safe. If they see you got a movement, they're going to repost. They're going to help you out. Now, they may not pay you. You feel what I'm saying? A lot of people feel entitled and shit in the city, but they're going to fuck with you. I mean, every city sort of, well, to varying degrees, but like every city sort of has like a story about a time when people kind of got along.

And then somebody gets killed and it creates this rift. And then there's just this like a long saga of back and forth murders after that. You feel like your city just didn't happen to get infected with that mentality? We did. Absolutely, we did. I was part of it. Really?

Yeah, absolutely. But it's kind of subsided over time? Of course, of course, yeah. It's old. I say from 2000 to the day it's clean, it's, you know, USF, it's, listen, true story. CultureShout, when I came from the feds. So the neighborhood that they put, the college in is my old neighborhood

where we put dead bodies and shit in this creek. Like we fight and we go in the war, we shoot that art, I'm talking about white people can't come down with like, it's a lot of pressure. Right. I come home from the feds. You got these little college kids. I'm talking about big as a stick.

Got the headphones in, skateboard and walking the dog and shit. And I'm, I'm fucked up. I can't fathom them because I know what the fuck. I know what we produced in here because I'm part of the era. I'm part of the movement. So when I came home for the feds, I've seen this shit, I really just wanted to start going to white people say, listen, this ain't a move, y'all.

Y'all tripping. But then I had to tell myself, I'm true. I'm institutes like shit get big after doing 15 years in the phase. Right. Well, I mean, okay, gentrification is complicated because on one hand, it's good for the property values to go up for the people that already own houses or buildings in this area. And it usually is associated with places becoming safer. But then it is unfortunate when the sort of local culture gets diluted and pushed out of that area. But, you know, I can't help but, like, think about, you know, people I've met over the years where they might not acknowledge the positive benefits of gentrification, but then when you have a conversation with their mom about how much safer the area is to live in as a result of, you know, corporations coming in and buying houses and building up developments and bringing business to these areas or whatever, I don't know. I do. I find that pretty compelling. At the end of the day, as much as it might sometimes remove.

some of the local flavor, it's still probably like a net positive because of the... I agree. They had to get us out of that neighborhood to do what they do today. They had to eradicate us. They had... It was no... If they let us stayed on the street another 24 months, it's no telling what St. Pete would be. Right.

No telling. It was vicious, bro. So, okay, you as a young boy, what was life like? At what age? You want me to go to the beginning? Your earliest memories, man. Earlyest memories, man, far. Yeah, four, five, six years old?

You're kind of like fucking cold. I don't know, it was just me. Five, six years old, you know, coming home from Bayfront, Bayfront Medical Center, and behind Bayfront, we had this little neighborhood back then called Bugger's Creek. And Bugger's Creek, there was an old tale that we didn't cross Bugger's Creek

because Bougar Creek used to have many lights in it. And the mini lights were supposed to be like the Bougat Man. And it was like six of them down, they lived down in Bugger's Creek. So you had the hospital, and it kind of curves like this. So there's a brick road in a river in the middle.

So the story was that they lived in the river and if you go down there at night, the many lights would come out of the river and chase you down and eat you and shit. So you spent your childhood really believing this? Yeah. Yes. We all did.

Absolutely. You ain't going to Buggles Creek at night. But that would keep your ass away from that little certain strip, but then I lived to the next neighborhood over, which was Harbreda. And Harbidell is a very crime-rilled welfare recipient, you know, just drug-induced neighborhood.

You know, it's really poverty-stricken, and you don't have a choice. I didn't have a choice because my mother brought me there. And you were one of very few white kids in that area? I was probably the only one for a long time. Okay. In Harbor there. Right. Right.

And your parents were both white? My mother's white. I never met my father. Okay. So I grew up in one parent, broken home. Right. But she'd cracker, cracker old. Uh-huh.

Yeah, she's like, she didn't believe in mixing of races and all that shit. So she's a regular old white lady. Yeah, she's a regular old white lady. Okay. She don't talk like me, but you got on the stage, she's not going to talk like me because she wasn't raised. Right. She already was, you know, third with her.

I don't know how she was she had, but. Was she on the straight and narrow though? Yeah. Okay. Oh, my mom, McCracker, police, government, all that shit. Right. Yeah, she ain't having it. Okay.

Yeah. But you, like, the vast majority of your life you spent hanging out around black people. My whole life. Did you spend much time, like, wrestling with, like, the weirdness of the fact that you're the only white person in this environment, like as a young kid, are you thinking about it or is it just unsaid? It's unsaid.

It's innate, born here. You feel me? Because it's all you've ever known, so you think it's normal. It's normal. It's nothing outside of this. You know, it's other people who make fun of other and shit like that. But, you know, if you don't know nobody,

you can't do no better. You feel, me, Adam? If you don't know no better, how you're gonna do better? Ain't nobody out there trying to, black person trying to teach a white kid how to be white. Right. That shit ain't happening. You either killed be killed, eat be eating.

And she's like, oh, we don't mix races or her dad, what she was talking about, your grandfather would have a fit if he see, man, I don't even see that mother. But is it weird for you because you're like, well, why are you raising me in this area if you don't want me to? And that's my question, huh, like, bitch, can't you see? Ain't nothing. But you know, just like I, he does have a weird audience. He do though. It's a strange group. You're the third professional podcast who said the same as that thing. About him, really? Yeah, by him and the audience.

Yeah. It's just to the tee. They have a huge Facebook audience too. And what I heard is that they have a mostly male audience on YouTube and a mostly female audience on Facebook, which that explains because most of it is white dudes common in the comments, them to all two thousand

my like understanding of race in america as a young kid really kind of started with like music because in my view it was like you kind of had two paths that you could go down you could be into rock music or you could be into rap music now the landscape is much more complicated but it's like you know to me it was kind of weird because I liked both of it I like Green Day and Nirvana and fucking you know Metallica and shit and then I also liked rap music.

And I remember it feeling like pretty controversial to be like into like smashing pumpkins and Jay-Z at the same time. Right, right, right. What was your like view on race as a young kid? Like, were you really even thinking about like the fact that there's white shit and then there's black shit? Or like when did that kind of come into your mind? Still to the day, it hasn't.

Oh, God, for real. Still till the day, it's shit ain't registered. You feel what I said? But I don't see it. Because I don't see it's not color-based. I don't see white-black. I don't see like, you know, separation and politics and religion. Like me, I-fitting.

I-fellow with you. You respect me. I respect you. You cross that line, bitch, I'm going to get on your ass. So if you're Muslim, Jew, Christian, LGBTQ, white, black, whatever. Man, know who you are. Stand on your purpose. Do what you do.

Have faith in what you do and respect to people around you. That's my message. But be who the fuck you're going to be. You feel me? But at the same time, make sure you carry your self-respect because that energy is big. and it leaks off. If you're a coward, be a coward.

So they'll fly into Miami and I go pick, you know I got the black truck services. Right. Luxury transportation in Temple. Yeah. So I lead to Temple, meet them in Miami. We'll go to Art Basel.

30 hours, EDM and fucking club space. I'm sober. They fucking ripped. But it would cool as shit, though. I ain't ever been in that environment. Right.

So I'm like, this all right, though. I can see why it channels the people. You seriously spent 30 hours straight in the- 30 hours straight in that sort of environment? Man, I was, listen, so we'll leave. they'll go back and they sweat and drinks.

Go back to the hotel, change their clothes, eat, come right to fuck back. Really? Sweat of God. That to me is something that I don't think I would be able to do without the effects of serious drugs. And that's what I'm trying to say. Like, I was sober.

Now, I won't say because I'm very patient. I understand culture. I understand people. I understand diversity. I f*** with that. But man, you got to be in that bitch high, bro. Yeah, yeah. I'm telling you, but that shit was hard.

For that mentally, it's the same beat. Boom, boom, boom, boom. All the lights off and shit. I never got it. Like, you know, I can appreciate it. I used to get fucked up and, you know, being in the club, dancing with a girl. They're playing EDM music. Sure, it's a great beat.

You can dance to it. I get it. But, like, sober, I can never imagine myself liking EDM music in the way that I like punk music or hip-hop music. Because it just, to me, just feels like just nothingness. Like, and I feel like you have to be really deep in it to know, like, what style it is or what the DJ is trying to say with. this. Whereas to me with rap, it's like, this motherfucker's telling me what the song's about. Like, straight up. Right, right. It's just so much more appealing to me. Like, just when the, when the music doesn't have

like a narrative, like a message, a thing that the person is saying, I just can never really get into it. I never understood people who are real into EDM. Yeah, I mean, but that's the closest thing I've got to outside of rap. Right. You know, I mean, you know, I know Kiss is legendary. Butterfly is legendary. You know, there's a couple, I'm pretty, I miss a few rock, you know, on. Beatles, whatever. You know, over the years, you know, growing up, you hear a little shit, Al Green, different things like that.

But for the most part, you know, back then we growing up in NWA. Yeah. We were growing up in Dre and Snoop. That's what we grew up in Florida. We listen to y'all shit. Right. MC8. Or, God damn, Spice One.

You know what I mean? Not a lot of Florida music, though. Back then, our Florida music was more bass tempoed back then. So back then, like the loudest, live as shit we had was Janfone Express. You know what that is? No. Express, they come from Miami, so they'll take a regular song, and it was illegal back then, copyright, FCC, she liked it. So they'll take a regular song and they'll rap in between it.

They'll say their own words to catch up to the words of the song. Okay. But the shit was legendary. Slig, big, big age, hard no, or a lot cool job. Like, they just had it, bro. They just had it. You know, but that was our error. But outside, you know, commercial rap was, you know, then we get a trick daddy, you know, Trina. Rick Ross before he was Rick Ross. Right. Cutting shit like that. So, you know, we definitely had some music.

So what were you, what was, uh, you like in high school and shit? Like, like, what kind of kid? I had a riot at high school. A riot. Race-wide. So this, this was kind of your defining moment in high school? We just having a conversation. Oh, okay.

This is your most memorable moment. Not really, but really. A race riot in high school? That sounds pretty fucking memorable. So what happened was so back then they started busing everybody from the south, Southside, like I'll tell you, Southside was the poor. North side was a rich right. So they started taking,

because the government wasn't pouring money in the education. It wasn't pouring money in the textbooks. We didn't have computers and shit. So they just said it's cheaper to take these motherfuckers than bus them out here. You don't say the rich school. So that's what they started doing. Focked it off. So they're taking all black kids from poor neighborhood and bringing into the rich white school. Wow. Wow. What a mistake. That's kind of amazing that they didn't think that could be.

Locker room, football equipment, music equipment. We're in the drum room with the music room, stealing all that shit. We're in the size room. Still in the own, the triple bean scales. Man, they, they fucked it all.

And you're like the one white dude that's rolling with the black kids who are doing all this crazy shit? Right. So what happened was, so now the football, all team, all big country-haired white boys. They got tired of the shit.

So they came over to the black section of the cafeteria and like, man, you niggas got to go. Oh, shit. So now we playing tunk at the time. You know what I said? We all standing up gambling playing tunk. And I'm looking at my black friend. I'm looking at slick rig, and I'm like,

y'all ain't going to say nothing? So they said it again, man, you know, you got to go. I said, hey, man, listen, we ain't fin up. And before I even got, man, the motherfucker hit me in the head with a chair. Boom, that's down the whole motherfuckering blacks and whites.

And it bit, man, we told that mother-fah don't. Listen, they brought in sheriff. They brought in state troopers. They brought in fire department. They brought in the helicopter. They brought in the dogs. The fight was going on for so long that they were able to. Yes, they couldn't break it up.

Are you serious? Man, we in that bitch. So they had the lone tables with like the epoxy on it. You know, they take the picture, like the old school pictures and they, you know, Poxy had it. Man, I'm in that bitch picking that whole bitch up, throwing that bitch in the crowd. Mound! We're talking about like hundreds of people on each side? On each side, bro.

What the fuck. And then I'm the only white dude fighting with my neighborhood against the white. But again, you got to remember, I'm not even thinking about race. Just just need my people. This is what it is. Right. So what was the end result of all this? Everybody get arrested?

Arrested. Got kicked out. got expelled, all that shit. Wow, what age was that? So what grade? 14, 15 years old. Wow. And so you had to find a new school?

Yeah. Yeah. And you didn't have a similar experience at your next school? Yes, I did. Another race ride? Well, it was a neighborhood against neighborhood then. Okay. So in our city and St. Pete, we don't do gangs.

You know, like how y'all got, there's a lot of gang culture, a lot of gang politics out here. I don't know nothing about, but it's cool. You know what I'm willing to listen and educate? You know what I'm saying? But y'all do like neighborhoods, right? Yeah, we do neighborhoods. We don't have colors and shit. We do that neighborhood law.

Yeah, because it's like, LA, it is neighborhoods. It's just then there's these like sort of blanket umbrellas that kind of tie certain people together. But I seen one time on the map, and you could straight me because I, again, I don't know politics. I'm welcome to be straight. They was doing a special on first 48 or some shit like that. Brought and like, they split the map up of, you know, they had like the overview of the neighborhoods.

Like it was huge. Bro, like half this whole goddamn map was blue. Half the fucking mat was red. That shit blew my mind, bro. Yeah. I'm like, God damn, that's extensive. It's pretty crazy, yeah. Yeah, that shit.

But we don't do that. Yeah. You know, we just, we harbor there, we grew up together, we fight together. Like, that's just what it was. We ain't doing colors. We ain't, you know, but we have territories. You know what I mean? Like, you can, if you're from 34th Street or 36th Street, you can't come down

to Night Street. Night Street can't cross 34th Street. Nice Street and 34th Street can't go over to Fort of Night Street. You know, and that's how the shit was just segregated like that. So what they ended up doing was they took me and a couple of my partners and bust us out to Boguiceiga. Now, Bogosiego is really like Charles Park for the 9th Street area. We ain't got no business over there back then.

So it's about nine of us they had them put over there. Mind you, it's only nine of us going over there. Man, the whole school filled with the enemies. And that shit lasted about two weeks. Same thing. All nine of us in this bitch fight. Fall of them. Just all the time?

All the time. They end up kicking them side. I went from now, I went to Lakewood High School. Uh-huh. Lakewood High School, that's Hollywood High. That's what an upscale, pristine black people go, you know, their parents' career, you know, driven, and stuff like that.

They call it Hollywood High back then. So now here come my dumb ass, I think I'm gonna do what I've been doing with everything else. I bring in all this weed into the school. So now I'm selling weed at Lakewood High School, so they had the little narcs back then. Undercover, you know, little students is just trying to buy weed and shit like that.

like six people work apartment. Man, they ended up busting like three or four, and they couldn't get me, but then they knew I was one selling weed, and they put my ass back at Oceola. Uh-huh. And that's why I ended up graduating from. Wow. Damn.

So there wasn't any time period in that. Like, were you restraining yourself from getting into further criminality, or were you basically, like, doing whatever you could possibly get yourself into at that time? He was like, I want you to bring whoever you can to get you deliver some crack right now to this house. He said, we're getting ready to clear out of here. I said, man, put me in the back of that motherfucker truck, bro.

I ain't nobody talking to you. And plus, he, he, he white. I'm definitely don't trust you. Cracker, you got me. Bitch, I know, you ain't for me. You know, but again, I'm so stunned. I'm so hard on the streets. You're going to tear,

For how many years? 10. And how 10 turned into 15? Because they wanted me to testify against some dudes who was going to trial. They got to go to trial. Because they want the rights reserved. Come and get life, but I can come back. If I plead I, still get life on come back.

So that's why they'd be forced to go to trial. So like, man, you're going to testify on them. We're going to, you know, get your 10 years. And that's what you're going to do. But we're going to send you to a. with camp. Mind you, I don't know none of this shit, high level, medium, none of the shit.

So he came, um, it was time for the boys to go to trial. They come and get me to take them back to go to trial, take me to them, you know, to mortgage street, to take me back to testify, I'm like, no, I ain't doing it.

So the same dude was on my couch with the same dude who came and got me to testify to get like six months later. He told me, man, you f*** up. He said, I'm gonna show you how much you So I'm like, man, whatever. Man, that bitch came back two weeks later, superseded indictment, five more years. Yeah.

924C, possession, constructive possession of a firearm and furtherance of a truck trafficking crime. Which means that they ain't got to find a gun, they don't have to prove as a gun there, it's just constructive possession. A gun was under somewhere where drugs being sold. Right. So that kind of picked up a little fire for like six months and then it died down. And then after that, I had a couple locals, you know, hit me up for skits and shit like that. And then, man, that shit really took a life for his own. And I started doing my own shit. Wow. So you didn't expect. this? No. You didn't see this as like a valid thing? No. It just felt. This bitch just took his own. So like this bitch literally took off by itself. Right. Because America's trying

Oh. And it's times. What the fuck? Broke my back all the fuck. I was like six months paralyzed with that shit. God put me back on my feet. Last Thanksgiving, they gave me an hour to live

told me to make my phone calls. Wow. I had two blood clots and my heart didn't even know it. What the fuck. So I'm here for a reason. Pain and the purpose. It's a reason I'm still here.

Yeah. That's why I want to reach the mass. I want to tell these people like, bro, I don't get a fuck of you. Two or 222, you have a purpose in life. If you understand who you are and where you're going, I don't get a fucking. how hard that shit get in life.

You have to wake up every single day and no bitch, it's you who gonna make it's better. It's your goddamn energy, is your positivity. It's up to you to do bad or do good. It's gonna change. It's gonna get better. But it's up to the person.

What the fucking you withstand? Right. I can withstand a lot. A lot of paid 15 years in prison. That's a long time to have patience. Yeah. That's a long time to understand politics. How does that make you feel

when you look back at the fact that you spent most of your youth? I'm discontent with it. I don't like it. It's terrible because those same mistakes that I made as an adolescent affect me to this day. I can't get a job. I try to get a twit card.

You know the twit card? Security for ports and airports so we can pull up and pick up packages like in a medical courier and then take them off, you know, the port and go deliver them. Fares say, man, bitch, we're not giving you no twig card. We're not giving you no pass.

That's why I do black truck services. That's why I provide, you know, the security and things. And I have to be an entrepreneur. Like, you know, I don't get, like, that is a major, major felonies on my record. Right. You know, and this is federal. I'm never going to be nothing in society unless I make myself into something. Right.

And I'm too large to be at Walmart. I'm too large to be at Win Dixie. I'm too large to be at Sam's Club. My personality to, big, my life too great, you know. But this is who, this is who I people say, I'm arrogant. No, bitch, if I've been not rooting for me, I'm waiting on you to root for me. I look like, I'm a root for me.
