No Jumber coolest podcast on the world.
We're back with Ack.
How you feeling?
It's the first time being on this set, man.
I know, right?
Yeah, you were in the other room that one, like, megapod that we did.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
That was fun.
Yeah, how come on, you had Charleston White for the Adam and Wax for not me.
I want to be on that junk.
I paid him to do an interview and then an episode of 4 Extra,
and then he ended up just doing the Adam and Wax show for free.
He always likes to, like, over deliver.
So that was kind of random.
Oh, Charles will be cutting deals, huh?
Yeah, I mean, that was kind of a weird part.
You know that, like, he ain't charging me the same thing
that he's charging some random guy.
Yo, he has the good business model, which I think everybody,
well, first of all, him and Vlad fucked up the game, right?
Like, everyone think they're Charleston.
Too transparent, yep.
No, no, well, everyone think they're a Charleston
and then everyone think that every platform got Vlad money.
You get what I'm saying?
It's like...
Because the size of his platform,
and you look at like every Charleston clip doing at least like 200K,
he just can pay more, so it's kind of fair for him to ask that.
But, I mean, I admire a...
Trust him because he's got this business model that I don't really, like, me or you wouldn't
take this on because we are able to print money from home.
Yeah.
But for him, it's like he's got at least 10 cities all over the U.S.
He bounces around to him.
Every city's got a paid interview or two, a comedy show, a club hosting, a strip club thing,
brand deals, whatever.
And I see him with a different bitch every time I'm in a different city with him.
And he's just living life.
He does what rappers used to do for the rollout.
You know, like you save all your controversies that you could get the banger
interview and that's the rollout for the
what Charleston does. This is the domestic violence one this
time. Yeah, well so this is the
this is the DV run but every
single time when he wants to
he's not telling the same stories over
and over. Like a lot of dudes burnt out because they
told the same stories. It's like, all right bro, you told us five
Chicago stories. Okay,
you're telling us like the C stories now.
Exactly. And with him, like
I remember the first time he hung out at Aiden Ross
he did a whole Charleston
White or he did a whole Sagey's interview
where he just like retold the story of hanging out
they in Ross, got a million views.
It took an hour and a half.
Like probably I would not be able to make an hour and a half of good content out of just
going and doing a stream with somebody.
But he's just like the guy when it comes to that shit.
You never feel like you're going to bring up a topic and he's going to give you like
a two minute answer.
Listen, he's a true content creator in the sense of if you're having a conversation
with them.
And I mean, I do it too.
I'm like, okay, what is the audience thinking?
How could I flip this into like a realm where it's kind of interesting?
with Charleston, he'll just start talking about some shit.
Like, he'll just go down a story,
or he might give you different versions of himself.
If he's like, you know what, right now,
I need to give the ignorant former Charleston White.
You might ask him a question,
but I don't give a fuck about that.
And he'll just go into another type of tangent.
So he kind of knows that.
And then sometimes I always like his interview
when he kind of get deep,
even if it's like a little bit fake deep,
but he's like, you know,
he's got kicking some game.
It's like the unc kicking game.
But even in that interview,
I tried to talk about clavicular's case,
and he just immediately starts telling him the story
of his case.
Because he didn't, I guess he didn't care about the Clav thing.
I'm like, okay, fair enough.
Like, why did I not think to ask about yours before Clab?
Yeah, I was listening to his shit.
I was listening to him on Vlad.
And I like, I like how he brings this.
His storytelling is pretty good.
Oh, yeah.
I'm trying to think now in hip-hop content, who does, like, the best storytelling?
Because that is a skill.
It's got to be him, right?
And also for, like, when you do solo content, like even like me, right?
I'm doing solo content.
All right, I got a good story.
You want to, especially I'm on stream, I want to drag that bitch for an hour.
Yeah.
So it's like you want to kind of add the one thing I like about him.
He'll like mention the random details or the things that you probably wouldn't say.
He's like, yeah, man, I was trying to sneak these purses in the crib.
You know what I mean?
But he doesn't like derail the story by going in like insane tangents, which sometimes when I'm telling the story, I feel like I'm stopping myself from doing that because I'll just go in another direction and start talking about some other random ass shit.
Okay, just to glaze you for a minute.
I feel like you are literally like you wake up in the morning.
Yeah.
And then you just start consuming everything hip hop media-wise.
I don't know if there's like a list, but you just like get all your topics in mind.
Yeah.
Then you like probably on an average day hop on stream for four hours.
Then you're gone for a couple hours.
In which time to me personally, it seems like you're just consuming more and crafting the narrative.
And then a lot of times at night, like especially when the numbers are really good when like there's like a big viral thing going on, you're just like back at it.
Yeah.
And the thing that blows my mind and what I realize like, because to me a lot of times when I'm,
stream solo, I'm kind of just like double dipping because I have a bunch of shit I have to watch
and I'm just like, okay, I'll watch it on stream. But you seem like you've always already seen it
and then also like dug in deeper and did further investigation so that you kind of already
have like fully formed narratives. And like somebody like Ross or 1090 Jake are like reading the
comments. You seem like you're, you've already consumed the comments and like kind of thought through
what the narratives are that the fans are going to want you to.
address. Is this like mostly correct?
No, definitely. Well,
the thing is that a lot of people think that,
you know, they'll praise my like consistency
and they'd be like, yo, he works hard. He's doing a six
hour stream. Cool, but like
for a good 10 hours before then,
I'm consuming hip-hop content
the entire day. Right. I'm reading
articles. I'm looking stuff up.
Shit, if it's like a week we're recovering
heavy court shit, I'm on Pacer.
I'm like, you know, I have other
people who make calls to me. You know, obviously
I think I've kind of like helped, you know,
gotten like a little bit of a team in terms of like these days I'd be like oh grant come on I need this
and like he's right I hear you like summoning him at times so like find a link to something or whatever
and that always makes me think like okay how much additional work is being done in the background
to make this look easier than it is so so here's the thing I've watched everything already I wake up
and that's what I kind of understood when you were talking about like the Lennon stuff right
because I don't think I could have like a healthy like relationship when I wake up like even if
I'm like,
when I wake up,
the first thing she hears,
I'm up at 7 a.m.
Even if it's a drunk night
and I'm like fucking drunk at 3 a.m.
or 4 a.m.
and I just got off stream,
I'm up at 7.
So I'm in the bed with whoever,
and the first thing I pop on
is the clips from my stream.
Like, I always am like fine-tuning my stuff
and, okay, cool, this is the banger, cool.
Then I'm starting to consume content the entire day.
Like, I don't even really talk to people.
Like, I just have content playing.
Oh, see, I feel like you're on the phone a lot, too,
getting like extra.
inside of information from people who can facilitate that.
That's the work that I think people don't realize.
Like, yeah, the grind is getting on stream.
The grind is putting the content out.
The work really is how much, like, there is no, like, check out for me.
Yeah.
Like, there's not like, all right, cool.
I'll see what's going on at four.
It's like start consuming content.
So I go to, I go to no jumper.
Anything you're in, I'm going to watch.
Okay.
I go to Vlad.
Usually you'll have one or two boots.
You don't have like the subscription tab so you can kind of like that's for me.
I'm subscribed to like a thousand channels so I can just kind of easily see what everybody
posted as soon as I wake up.
Well, I think it's just I don't even do that.
Like I think just algorithm.
Yeah, you don't really need it anymore.
Yeah.
It kind of like because they know I'm trying to keep up with current events.
So everybody's opinion about that that I tune into, it already suggests.
Oh shit.
They talked about it.
You want to watch it?
So I'm watching content for like a good couple hours.
You know, for me.
Like, I try to-
Are you scribbling down notes of like, I'm going to talk about this thing,
so I'm going to, like, put a few bullet points of, like, different little thoughts I had.
I'll write topics.
Okay.
I'll write topics.
Like, I might be like, Rick Ross gets arrested for TV.
Right.
That's easy 40 minutes.
Now, this one thing I'll definitely say I do.
Like, while I'm listening to and consuming content all throughout the day,
I'm almost having, like, and that's what I'm like, if you're around me, it probably sucks.
That's something about, like, maybe a family situation.
It probably sucks because I'm so, like, focused on that.
I need to come up with my take.
So I'm listening to everybody and I'm like, what's Axeak?
Yeah.
So I'm kind of almost like, I'm debating with the content I'm even listening to.
I'm like, ah, Vlad, I don't think, no, that's not it.
Right?
And because I know when I get on stream, I'm not only having to provide the info,
I got to at least come up with like a take that people are like,
okay, that's why we watch this stuff.
And then when you play the two-minute clip of Vlad saying something that you kind of disagree with
and then you get to elaborate on it,
It's like you have Vlad as the guest on your stream briefly.
He pops in and then, oh, boom, here's a King Yellow clip.
He's talking for a few minutes.
And it's like, that's how I know that you're always watching the shit in advance.
It's because like your take on it is so good or like clearly like listen.
But then a lot of times when the clip is actually playing,
I'm looking at you looking at your phone and like texting people and shit.
And I'm like, he's not paying attention right now.
But it's because he already watched it.
I rarely ever watch something for the first time.
So I watched already.
Sometimes I might not keep up with the links.
But usually I'll jot, okay, Rick Ross, I might, so when you see me on stream, sometimes I forgot to put the him walking out of jail clip.
So now and then you're trying to find it, like those are the worst.
But yeah, I've seen everything already.
Yeah.
So I've seen everything.
I'm just kind of like, all right, what's the timestamp?
Because here's the thing.
I'm taking two hours.
I'll listen to the entire thing.
I want to throw my stream five minutes.
Right.
Right.
So like I want to go to 56 minutes and 30 seconds.
And yeah.
So, you know, I try to, you know, I feel like it's been national.
for me. Like if there's an hour long breakfast club interview, it might be wise for a content
creator or watch the whole thing to really understand the context, but then that's not the speed
of the attention span of the people who are watching you. They want you to already be able to
sort of parse through this. I'll tell you, because here's the thing too. And I've seen creators
kind of like get into this a little bit more. I've always said the reason how I felt I beat traditional
media was doing the extra extra thing or going an extra mile. Like, for example, I remember the day, like
December 17, 2014, that's when Bobby Schmurder, the indictment came down for GS9, right?
Everybody's running articles on it.
You see Hot New Hip Hop, you see Double Excel.
I'm like, yo, everybody's saying the same thing.
These amount of people arrested, these are the charges.
I'm like, man, how do I stick out?
Right?
I can find, I'm like, oh, shit, you could pull an indictment.
I even read the thing.
The shit was like almost like 80 pages.
Then I got the real details.
Oh, yeah, yo, Rowdy Rebel had a shootout.
Same clothes.
He went to the Barclays.
Now, I run that story.
I'm not running the other shit because everybody's running that bullshit.
And that's what kind of got people like, wait, that's a story?
I'm like, yeah.
So that's what I figured out.
I'm like, most of hip-hop media, they're lazy, man.
Like, they're lazy as shit.
So like- You made that point to Mark Lamont Hill and his response was kind of like, I never
said that I was trying to be at the forefront of breaking hip-hop news journalism, but it does
feel like that's kind of what the game is becoming, where it's like, if you want to really
compete, you need to be really in the trenches of that shit.
so you can't be responding three days later.
Yeah, and or you've got to be, you know, you have to pick what, you know, some people,
their thing is I'll just generally, lightly touch on everything going on.
And then I know why people are coming to me.
You get me?
So no matter what, there was, you know, people always have criticisms of me, you, whoever,
but specifically with me, when they're criticizing me about, yo, you did this bad or
this is the reason we don't like you, I know I do certain things.
that none of y'all do.
So at the end of the day,
like I can see why Meek Mill is Seed
than when he sees 200,000 people watching me during it.
Because that, you can't name someone else.
By the way, of course, shout to like, you know,
trap lawyer and shout to Sadie Nash.
They're on the scene.
But I've been doing this for years
in terms of nobody's going to do a trial coverage.
Like I did it with 6'9's trial,
did it with Tories trial, did it with Dittie's trial.
I did it with this dirt trial.
You know nobody's going to do this for 10 hours a day
every day, be in tune with every single detail, right?
And pretty much almost turn his stream into like a CNN headquarters of,
hey, this is if you want all the info.
Now, you could go to Joe Bunn's podcast, don't respect to him,
and you'll get the five to ten minute discussion.
I'll be like, oh, yeah, that shit's crazy.
A couple days later, yeah.
Or you could go, you know, to, I don't know,
Rob Markman and that's wild, right?
And that's as much depth as they go.
You go to my shit.
I'm in the weeds.
And that's what I'm saying,
I've watched YouTube change now.
Right.
Like, I used to have like a two-day lead time in terms of,
okay, there's a story that's happened.
I could pull the documents in like two days.
Because no one's going to do it.
These guys are lazy.
Right.
Right.
And again, I'm not attacking like anybody specific.
It's just,
I just know as much as what hip-hop media is going to get into.
Right.
They're not going to really get into, you know, the weeds.
So I just have a two-day lead time.
Yeah.
Now with Setti Nash.
1090, Jake especially.
Flaco.
They're doing, like, and again, that's what I see a competition as.
You know, but that's what I was going to ask.
Who's nipping at your heels?
Because it does feel like when the Dirk trial is going on, as far as a live streamer in hip hop,
it's kind of like so your lane that it probably is kind of demoralizing for a lot of other people to do.
I mean, I did see that like 1090J at like 50K when the Dirk verdict was coming in.
So I was like, okay, he's kind of carved out his own lane.
It feels like a lot of people, though, do the pre-recorded YouTube videos, like Flacco,
and Ross and 1090, partially because they know that you kind of have the whole streaming
landscape covered at that moment.
Yeah, I think live, like, we're pretty super dominant in.
But I don't look at it like that in terms of, like, nipping at my heels.
It's about, listen, the guy who's the guy is the guy who, like, gets to give us that
extra info that no one knows yet.
Right.
Because I remember when I used to break hip hop news.
And, you know, no one wanted to give me credit for.
but they would all run with it.
Right?
And it was wrong with it until TMZ did it.
And they'd be like, oh, TMZ said this.
Yeah.
But in reality, the actual journalistic work where like you're digging for information to
substantiate a story or get new angles and leads, it's always come from people who are independent
creators.
Like it's not going to come from somebody who's get paid 15 bucks an hour to write an article.
Right.
He's copying and paste.
At this point, they're using AI.
You get what I'm saying.
So, but now, and that's what I'm saying, it's good competition, though.
Because like, you know, I'll see tonight.
Jake will hit me and be like, yo, act.
Yo, where'd you get this?
I'm like, no, no, yo, go on there.
He'll tell me the same thing too.
So we share info like that.
But it is, there is a little bit of competition in terms of who's on the current pulse of whatever story, especially the ones that, you know, have some court element.
I mean, especially the Dirk thing.
It's like a generational trial.
But I did.
Okay, I noticed a couple of like sneak attacks that you have are like,
ways to like save energy, conserve energy, which is like at certain points during the Dirk thing.
Yeah, yeah.
Because you literally like have nothing to fucking talk about because you're just waiting for
the verdict.
So it's like it's super hard to find shit to like really make content out of.
So you like put on a Ross video.
And after like half hour, I'm just kind of like, this motherfucker has not said shit like 30 minutes.
Well, you got to realize.
So like when it comes to a trial, like I don't necessarily like that.
But in those moments, I treat that stream.
like it's CNN.
I might play a fucking documentary from Ross.
But the fans don't care because they know that you're actually just like here
until you get something that needs to be revealed.
100%.
So those streams are like, again, when you come to my stream,
you're going to find out the extra stuff.
And by the way, I think Ross is, you know, everybody has their own lane.
Ross is really amazing with what he does.
Shit, 1090 Jake as well.
And obviously, you know, Flacco's been killing as well too.
So, you know, they do more pre-recorded stuff.
Like every time I see Jake put out some of the views is through the roof.
Crazy, right?
Right?
But that's another thing where it's like, you know, what I would tell creators is that you got to just do you, right?
Like me, of course, I used to put out these videos, these four minute videos.
But I kind of like grew into trying to like establish this longer form content.
And that's when podcast or whatever was the thing.
And then now it's kind of like streaming.
So I've kind of like merged it too.
Whereas kind of giving you a podcast, but it's stream too.
Yeah.
And then I have people who just edit the shit up if, you know, obviously it's not the quickest thing.
to get put up, but it gets done.
So for the guys who like, like, Flacco's formula,
man, he was here at no jumper just like,
this nigga was probably just here like, yo, just cooking up.
We found a crabby-patti formula and he did, man.
Has he been back?
No, and like, okay, he was supposed to come back
like a week or two ago and he was going to do Vlad,
and I found out about it, so I was like,
you got to do no jumper too, and he agreed it was going to be me,
trap him.
No.
I mean, not that I know of.
He actually hits me up.
He hits me up.
Not like that.
No, no, no, no.
But, okay, he hit me up the other day and told me, like, super sensitive information that
he would never tell me if we're actually beeping.
So, like, I'm actually, like, not concerned that I'm, like, secretly.
Okay, all right.
So let me explain what beef is these days.
So you have, you have, like, the beef where it's like, if Rory dropped dead today, I'm like,
thank God.
You know what I mean?
But would you hop on the story?
Would you do the Dirk thing and just go live and just stare at the camera?
You hate him like that?
I hate that, nigg.
Rory's a gangster, though.
No, no.
I start respect.
I start respecting his gangster a little bit.
You know the Notre Dame logo?
Yeah.
That's Rory.
He's like the little Irish motherfucker that's going to kick you in the ass.
But you know what that told me?
Yeah, you can't play with Rory.
Meaning that you run into him, you got to treat him like he's the most.
Because I think there's something disarming about him.
Yeah, well, he's a little white.
Yeah.
So once I've seen that I'm like, oh, he's a little white guy with a little bit of heart.
You got to.
And also, you know how I hated him the most to?
because I thought he would only do that type of shit to me.
And I'm like, all right, no, don't pick and choose.
Like, play this.
See, I can't respect meat milk.
I ain't never seen him say, oh, 50.
What's your address?
I'm pulling up.
Never said that.
Right.
So when you pick and choose me, I'm like, all right, I get it.
Like, you're trying to do the, I'm doing some big dog thing.
But in reality, that's not you.
So I thought that by Ruri this whole time.
Until I've seen his motherfucker did that with flipping.
I'm like, oh, he's giving out equal smoke.
Yeah.
I mean, you got to be a strong person to be Joe Budden's best friend for like 10, 15 years.
Like the old Joe Button, too, because now he's rich.
It seems like he's chilled out a little bit.
But you're talking about like the drug adult still trying to be a rapper Joe Button.
Like one of the most like aggressive communicators that I've ever met in my life.
Like that takes like a certain resolve.
Like especially the era that he lived through to be a white guy who's actually like in hip hop in real life.
You know, you got to have some like real character.
Now anybody can do it as a white boy.
But at that time, it felt like it was different.
I'll say this, man.
Joe, I think that's why he's good with content, though.
Yeah.
I think Joe purposely ruins all his friendships, exposes them.
He does everything that it's impossible for you to personally like him more once you start doing content with them.
Yeah.
But it's like even now, I feel like he's, I feel like Joe's like me.
And you know, I know Joe's like me?
Joe called me one time at like, like, like 540.
And he was like, I was just trying to make sure you're up.
like, I'm like, I thought you weren't up.
Because like we were texting. You was asking about something, but we called each other really early.
And I kind of realized how Joe is.
Joe kind of sits back.
He reads like everything like I do and probably you do.
And he watches his community, like turn him into the villain and watches his community playing to narratives.
And he never says, you know what?
I want to be the hero.
You know what he says?
Fuck it.
Let's add some more gasoline.
Like I think literally that.
That's what he does.
Right.
He allows these storylines to go on.
And I think when people check out of that, I think he has no use for you.
Yeah.
His gift is that he, even before podcasting, I think it's just his personality type to be extremely
aggressive and confrontational with the people that he loves and to make them uncomfortable,
which is really like the key to great content is you just make the other person like have
to kind of like flail and defend themselves.
And then you find out a lot about their character in that moment.
But I remember at one point like in an old as Joe Biden episode, but I,
it's always kind of stuck with me.
They said that Joe, you are the nicest person in the world to a stranger,
and then you put your friends through hell.
And I fucking hated it because as soon as I heard that, I'm like,
oh my God, that's me.
That's me.
Like everyone who I'm friends with, I will argue with you.
And at some point, you will be like, does this guy hate me?
And then meanwhile, like, any random person I meet on the street,
I'm like going really out of my way to be polite to.
Yeah, there's a similar element to how I think when Joe treats like his roster of like,
co-podcasters or like just podcast friends and how you treat employees and people who are on camera
because I think I think even your audience is like all right man everything is cool when is somebody
going to call somebody out for a fade man when somebody going to quit when is the moment going to happen
yeah it's a little chill at the moment so you guys have that in similarity and then I love the art
that Vlad is on oh yeah I'm gonna tell you why Vlad basically right now
is doing what, this is what Elliot Wilson thought he was doing.
Respect to Elliot Wilson.
Remember when Elliot Wilson was like kind of like starting to pop it?
I'm a beef with everybody.
Yeah, why did it not work for him?
No, it didn't work for him because he didn't have a platform.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like when you got to do that and be able to actually pop it.
Like, well, when Elliot was like, yo, it was Big Elliot or whatever.
Like, I think there was looking at him like, dude, big Elliot where?
But I remember he like, he picks the fight with Drake,
and then Drake just destroys him in that Instagram.
comment that he left on your shit. And like, that is a debilitating thing as an aging content
creator to have the biggest artist in the game just absolutely shit down your throat. But look at
Vlad, all these battles, he's winning. He beat Boosie. He beat Ari Spears. He beat Nore.
It's because half of the battle is not what you say is how you're set up. Yeah. Yo, listen, you know,
Vlad knew, you got to remember, Vlad, like, at this point of like dominance in terms of hip-hop
media with his content and just, yo, in the last couple of days I've been watching Vlad
Young Blue? No. The mob clips. Like just like Vlad's catalog is so vast. Like if you look at the numbers, Vlad is doing like 1.2, 1.3 a day. Actually, I mean 2 mil. I think. I think he's doing 50 million. He did like 15 million this month. Yeah. So like about. Here's the thing about still 60 to 70% of that's coming from the catalog. And what's happened is that over time, that has all benefited Vlad in terms of how he built his platform. So.
10 years ago, I don't think he could pop it like how he's popping it now.
But the reason why Vlad is winning now is like,
Vlad's platform is the MTV of Prime.
And he's dealing with these guys who usually aren't that popping.
They kind of need him.
And that realization, he's going to win every single time.
I'm watching him.
I'm like, okay, I feel like there's a pattern that offsetize plays out
where as a creator or a businessman or whatever,
as you become more and more egotistical and as you start
to believe your own bullshit.
And you start to think that you're incapable of taking a loss.
You get more aggressive with picking out fights and going after certain people.
And sometimes with Vlad, as much as he's been on this W streak, I'm like,
I hope he doesn't lose himself in this and pick the wrong fight that could send all of this
going back in the other direction.
Because you remember when he had his Farrakhan controversy and Godfrey and Lord
Ramar and all those guys leave, that was like really bad for him at a certain point.
And I think he really felt like, oh, this might be the end.
And he kind of like went into his shell a little bit and wasn't aggressive, wasn't attacking people.
I think he felt like, oh, I will do better as an interviewer if I just kind of chill and just be the guy asking the questions and don't make myself the lead character.
That was five or six years ago.
Now he's obviously taken on a different perspective.
I disagree.
If I'm glad, let me say this.
Even like with me, it's like for me, my thing is I don't pick and choose.
So it's like obviously there's a few slam dunks where it's like,
You know, if these guys come at me, I'm pretty much like clowning them all day.
But like when I woke up in at least at that time, little baby's super popping.
He disses me.
I could be like, all right, let me try to de-escalate or I'm like, perfect.
Listen, I love one, the guy who's at his peak.
This is me.
Because here's the thing.
At the end of the day, I like when I just isolate every other media member out.
The thing is, I was just trying to tell his bum-ass, meek Mill.
I was just like, bro, okay, not now.
Like, get back hot and trust me.
I would love to go back and forth with you all day.
But generally, and that's what I was saying about Vlad.
Vladdy, Vlad has to own it.
I said, Drake, that picture.
He said, wow, wow, wow, wow.
No fucking way.
You were here a month ago.
Yo, tell Drake, man,
had to bring the out to the Laleigh, man,
since he's Lollygacky.
That's why I've thought to send it.
Oh, the bully the scene.
He's not even in on that meme probably.
Bro, I hate that you let off him.
Yo, you could have done so much more damage.
It would have not been worth it.
No, I'm going to be honest.
All right, so here's the thing, though.
I don't think, I don't think,
my thing with going back and forth, I love it.
Now, Rory says something.
I hate him that much.
I'll talk about him all day.
Yeah.
But, like, generally, the moment that you're kind of not beneficial
for my platform anymore,
I just get my mic drop and I'm out.
I'm not going to keep going.
No, so, like, even with the T.R.
You know, they got a little bit of, like,
I don't call it buzz, but they kind of start floating a bit
with like this AZ cheekcase.
I'm going to say this name, right?
A. Z. Shike.
Okay. I'm not in trying to be funny, honestly.
But they got a little bit like, you know, buzz with that, the game stuff.
And I thought like I started seeing him again.
But once he was disappearing, like, listen, when people are drowning in this content game, I'm not, that's one thing I've learned.
I'm not. You don't know this, though.
No, no, no. I keep going.
Nah. The moment you see them start flailing, I'm like, all right, let's move on to another topic.
I've always been like that.
So the moment I realized I'm like, yeah, maybe even if they did say something slick
and I could say something slicker.
At this point, I'm kind of like giving them life.
So I get mine off and I'm like, all right, I'll see you guys again.
But you ever been salty?
Because like you have an op that you like.
Like you've got all these jokes.
You've got ongoing punchlines and shit.
And then they fall off so much that you can't talk about them anymore.
It looks crazy.
Even when we did the new no jumper cipher the other day, I gave T.
about one bar.
I don't know what they meant zero beef in them.
But I'm sitting there thinking like,
it feels so lame to even give him one bar.
Yeah, but your beef should be over with these guys,
honestly.
Yeah.
I think, you know, objectively,
there was an idea,
and I think, like, even with the Rourer and Mealy Mall shit,
with Joe,
there's always this, like, initial rush
when someone leaves a podcast.
And there's this belief that,
oh, the truncated podcasts or version of a podcast
that's our brand, is going to be bigger than where it came from.
Oh, remember when they actually thought,
yo, the numbers for Rurie and Millie Mall are killing Joe Button.
Yeah.
That sounds ridiculous.
For like a month.
Yeah, you get what I'm saying?
It sounds ridiculous, right?
I know, but that is weird that they did the same thing that Terell and AD and them did.
That was really in the air of like leave the big podcast, start your own.
Yeah, because in reality, like the audience is going to just gas you up.
Like a lot of times, here's the thing.
And I said the same thing about Meno and him.
I'm like, it's a false sense of support when people hate somebody.
So when I see someone go at me, I'll see five, they'll post something like,
yo, this motherfuckacademic, and they're going in.
Five thousand comments.
And you got to imagine what that tells somebody like, yo, I'm lit right now.
They drop an episode talking about it.
Comments are going crazy.
Get them.
And then all of a sudden you see like, you know, for me, that's always conflicting because
I'm like, all right, I got to get mine off.
But this person is building everything they have off the hate of me.
So I kind of have to like detach me and them going back and forth that they could kind of go back to their regular level.
As soon as you see that, it's kind of like, well, that's like a weird thing that we would not have been able to predict 10 years ago is that you would be able to have an entire channel, entire livelihood based on like bashing one person.
And then we know so many people who are basically able to get away with that now.
And like that just, I could have never conceived of that in 2016 or 2014 or whatever when I first like really started going hard on YouTube.
Oh, you know what's my, I won't name him.
But you know what's my, like while in the morning getting rid of content, there's a few content creators.
I don't know, I don't think I have a dedicated hater.
You know, my dedicated hater's got a like a content.
There's a whole page dedicated to you and whack.
Yeah, yeah.
Like a good YouTuber that just makes you their like cause.
Yo, fresh got one.
Like, yo, I hate...
Does he?
Yo, that sounds good.
It hurts my heart, listen to it because I'm like, I like this guy, but I'm like, it's so fun.
Yo, I've listened to people talk crazy about whack, and I'm like, like, this one guy, like, every day he talks about it.
And he's like, yo, like, he'll even cuss me out, how you act, yo, you act like a bitch, why you ain't call out whack?
And I'm like, you make decent content, just only hate no whack.
Yeah.
If you ever stop talking about whack, though, I'm not listening.
Like, because the dedication of the hatred, I love it.
That's the hole they get themselves into is that they can't really get out of just hating on this one specific thing.
And you'll see when they try to pivot, they'll do another video and it's like 10% of the views of their usual shit.
Yeah, no, no.
But not, I love all the hate stuff.
I don't think I don't think I get that anymore.
Yeah.
I think people, there's a general hate for me, but it's not like one guy that like, okay, let me just hate act this entire time.
I think there's just general hate.
But I just feel like you don't have like the YouTuber version because on Twitter there's like enough anti-assie.
sentiment that could be like a good YouTuber,
but Twitter is just such low-hanging fruit.
It's so easy to be like a person
who gets a couple thousand likes on Twitter,
but a lot of people base their whole identity on that.
And also what I've realized, too,
I feel like I've became the cockroach that survived
like several nuclear bombs and they're like, yo, bro.
We've been hating on this thing for 10 years.
He ain't going nowhere.
And I watch when people like do little blanket hate and shit,
and I watch the comments, I'm like,
I don't even know if these are my supporters
or they're like, yo, bro, enough.
We've heard this shit too many times.
And then you start to realize, like, you'll see somebody else get canceled for something.
And you'd be like, if that happened to me, nobody would give a fuck.
If I said that on a podcast, nobody would give a shit.
Charleston White, the whole abuse allegation or whatever, nobody tried to cancel him.
Yeah.
Everybody just maybe talk shit in the comments or whatever, but there was no real sincere attempt.
And based on what she posted, it looked like he was some horrific abuser.
He told me the actual story.
It sounded like it was just some DV shit, whatever.
I'm not really in a rush to judge him anyway.
but the fact that like Charleston White
has built up a brand and an image that's so durable
that unless he kills somebody
or has some like extremely well-sourced sexual assault thing,
he's pretty much good.
Yo, when it comes to me,
what I've realized is like, yo, if I trip,
like they want the one day where they're like, we got them.
They've thought they've had that a couple times.
Yeah, yeah.
So like, I know like, you know,
but I'm not, I'm so used to it at this point,
I don't feel as bad for myself as,
I do. That's why when I'm going on my like, whatever, and I'm getting at people, I kind of have no remorse because I know that there is going to be the day. There is the day where it's a bad day for acts. Some headline came out. There's always something. And everybody's going in and there's zero mercy. So, you know, I just kind of operate. Like, you know what? Listen, I'm used to this. But you know, a lot of times when that shit's going on, like, if you weren't on Twitter, you might not even know that it was happening. Like, for some reason, you were on vacation for four or five days and you actually did not have your phone.
and there was a huge thing going on on Twitter
where people are calling you a racist and abuser and whatever
if you actually just like didn't have your phone for four days
and then you came back to the internet
you almost would like be able to do your normal internet routine
and not really see any remnants of that
because it's like this fevered dream that just springs up
and then it just vanishes
and a lot of people make the mistake of like being obsessively on their phone
and reading every last comment
and thinking that this is like real which to some people you know it is
Like you can get canceled to the point where you lose deals and you actually lose fans and shit like that.
But most of the time, it's not that serious.
Yeah, that's why I didn't do no more deals, man.
Like now I'm like, no matter what they say about me, I'm in a very comfortable space and also just realizing that no matter what deal I take, unless they just overpay me by some ridiculous margin, I'll either make more by myself or I'll make close in the ballpark that the peace of mind that not, you know,
not having a brand to be like,
yo,
sometimes you're dealing with even crisis
and especially now,
like I'll deal with people
and they'll threaten that.
They're like,
yo,
I'll go in line with it.
I can imagine what Rick Rossi wins.
I guarantee that girl probably said,
yo,
she got hit,
allegedly,
a month before.
She ain't randomly just,
I'm pretty sure she was like
going back and forth to them,
hey,
I'm going to the internet with this,
give me this.
And those things only matter
as much as what people think you could lose,
right?
If they believe,
oh,
you a deal.
Right?
That, it really matters.
And shit, you're like scrambling around trying to like keep like this PR like picture
perfect image.
Me now like, you know, obviously I hope nothing ever bad comes out.
But I'm way less given a fucking terms of damn, who's going to work with me and who's
going to not.
I think the brands are like, you know, whoever I've ever partnered with in the last like
two, two, three years after Spotify, they kind of know it.
Yeah.
Yeah, they know what it is.
I mean, like even with you, like when you go to Complex, when you went to Complex,
It was this huge cosine that, like, validated you in a way that at that time, you were still, like, such a YouTuber that it was kind of crazy to see, like, so many people being forced to reckon with your existence because they just hadn't really had to up until that point.
But then, like, same thing with me.
Like, when I lost the fucking Atlantic deal, because I got all these allegations or whatever, it felt like this was, like, such a terrible result.
And looking at it now, it's just like, who cares?
Like, the amount of money that they were paying me was a fucking joke.
If I was still stuck in that deal, I'd be so upset.
Let me tell you this.
The greatest thing and the biggest joy of mine
is watching what I told people 10 years ago.
Because in hip-hop history when it comes to media, new media, whatever,
they've always kind of used me whether they were like,
oh, just the worst shy rack.
He came over a black death.
Oh, he did.
They've always used me as like that lightning rod to say,
this guy is what's wrong with hip-hop journalism or media
and getting rid of him.
would bring us back to a time.
Yeah, for real.
Like, they've always made it like that.
But that was a more compelling argument 10 years ago
when there wasn't a million mini-academics.
I told him that.
I've always said,
I see,
because at that point,
I was seeing everybody on YouTube kind of was like,
oh, shit,
we don't have to be in New York
and go work at a radio station
or we don't got to do these things.
You have to jump over, you know,
hurdles and shit to get in the game.
I'm watching how act does.
It doesn't even show his face,
at least a verse.
And I saw a thousand of news.
of me coming. And I thought they were like, you get rid of act, that lane is done. And I,
and I've been telling him, I'm like, you, listen, okay, I get it. I'm the bad guy. But I'm
telling you, after you get rid of me, there's going to be a thousand more people. I think it's
come to light. Because like now, like, I'm seeing even like, Flaco get his own haters. And I'm like,
oh, Flacco, that's good. You're good. That's good for you. Like, yeah, let them call you
the bad guy for a while. And then here's the thing, Flacco, you're teaching another thousand people.
So for me, I get the joy and realize that, you know, when it comes to like hip hop and change, it's like at first when rapping was like really simplistic, like, you know, hip, like it was very simplistic, right?
And then the first guy who started using like multis and like different syllables and metaphors that was a little bit more lyrical, they were like, you're like, this guy's doing too much.
Or like, you're always the stand out in a negative way when you're creating something new.
So now I feel like I live in the media landscape of like even like say the Charlemagne thing, right?
Like I knew we were in a different landscape when Charlemagne thought that I commissioned like the trap lore or the the the flakos and everybody else to kind of like attack his viewpoint.
I was like no.
Like it is is number one, first of all of these people probably have a lot more connection to me than probably you.
but also it's just a different landscape.
And unfortunately, like,
Charleman is always a legend,
but if he looks at the current media,
the people he's like co-signed,
they're not really at the top of this thing, right?
You know, it's a different landscape,
and I kind of look at them like, oh, all right,
which, by the way, at some point it'll change.
Yeah.
But at this point, I kind of look at it,
I'm like, all right, this is like probably
chief, keep watching drill kind of be everywhere.
Yeah.
Because there's there's something that we all kind of benefit from, which is that we are friends with a lot of each other.
And it's like, I know that if I have some crazy shit happen that Ross, Jake, whoever, Vlad, they're not going to like push the most extreme negative version of that.
And that's not a level of sympathy that any of us are really like inclined to give a lot of the people that kind of represent like, like, I feel like you have like the Black Effect network in Charlottomain, which represents like this corporate version of hip hop media.
and then you have all these other independent creators.
And all the independent creators are kind of OVO Drake adjacent,
whether they actually speak to them or just kind of vibe with the whole ideology a little bit more.
And then on the other side of things, you have this Kendrick glazing,
the sort of like hip hop purist angle, all these old heads.
And there's like a constant sense of saltiness from them because they realize that most of us have larger voices,
even if they have bigger industry cosines.
Yeah.
And also, like, there's been the artist themselves knowing.
The artist themselves, and that's why I always, you know,
I just can't say enough how stupid like someone like Meek Mill is.
Because let me tell you this, there's no artist that's really smart
that doesn't realize at some point you need to play Batman and Robin with the media.
Even if you secretly despise him, you need that.
You need media outlets.
You need media personalities.
Yeah.
You get what I'm saying?
What Drake does, he's a fucking genius for.
There was a time before when most media was concentrated at, oh, you have to go to these radio stations and talk.
Yeah.
That it was a very different vibe.
Now the things that Drake gets criticized for is exactly why he's winning.
Right?
Is it like, oh, he's messing with streamers?
Yeah, he knows where the audience is.
Yeah.
He's not a guy who's still stuck on an old program.
And I watch like every artist and how they kind of navigate that
because not everyone's like Drake, Drake will, he just hit you back.
But the weekends go with that too.
They just do it very differently, covertly.
Cardi's great with that.
Does differently, covertly.
All of these guys like, trust me, they watch you, they watch me, you know,
how forward are they with trying to like, you know, influence the narrative?
It might be different, depending on what artists.
But trust me, like the game has just changed, man.
The game is just changed, and that's why, like, that's why I went on that, I ran about, like, journalists, and I call some of these guys out because I feel like they get an extra title they don't even deserve, right?
Like, the biggest artist in the game doesn't want to talk to them.
Like, they're going off, oh, I did an interview with you back in a day.
Well, that's back in the day.
Right.
These days, you have no sources.
These guys look at you as antiquated old dinosaurs who's not only prospective, but whose influence is non-existent.
And everybody, like, I'm watching these, like, newer creators.
And it's not even like a, oh, a pro-drick thing or whatever.
They're realizing, like, the ecosystem and moving in that.
Right.
So it's like, hey, all right, you'll have this dude on Twitter.
I seem to do good debates.
He's killing it.
You'll see someone like, what's the dirt?
Everyone's kind of found their lane, but it's really progressive.
Right.
And that's what I looked at, you know, when it comes to, like, how hip-hop media has changed.
The relationship with the artist has changed too.
Right.
So like someone like Meek Mill, I feel like he's left on the outside
because he's always thought that media and everybody else should praise him.
Right?
And then he's angry when they don't have the same image of himself that he has.
Again, I always just put this in a nutshell, right?
And I remember even talking Cardi B. that one time.
Cardi was beefing him without a shade room.
You know, she was like, just stop posting me.
And I said, listen, don't beef with the media.
It's just not a good long-term solution, even if you hate him.
You're just, you're better off ignoring him.
That's probably the reason why, you know what I mean,
Little Baby still existent.
Because if he was as stupid to, like, go back and forth with me, like,
actually on Twitter, like, I don't have a blast.
I would never get off stream.
I mean, if Little Baby was so overconfident in his, like,
verbal ability to hop on Twitter and just type the way Meek Mill does,
we might have a similar image of him.
Okay, but the other day I said this to whack,
I said,
academics and Drake did not do as much damage to Meek Mill as Twitter did.
Us getting to see what the contours of his actual mind were like
was more damning than the biggest rapper and the biggest content creator.
Yeah, but.
So academics, Drake, Nick Minaj, 50, the game,
all of these people made Meek feel like the only way to express
himself in a B for a confrontation or a situation was Twitter.
That was the win, right?
At least for a little baby, like, he's going to come out.
He'll diss me in a song or something like that.
I heard him preview, no one.
But at least he tries to keep it music, right?
He's like, all right, well, these guys actually believe, like, trust me, I love this.
These guys believe that, number one, on a Twitter back and forth, they're going to win
with me.
Then they think if they get on their phone and start yapping back and forth and then
not get on my six-hour stream dissecting it all the way, they're going to win that.
When you rap, at least it could make it sound cool, get some bitches to shout that part or
whatever.
Like, you know, it's kind of like a, you know, shut and fuck up type of thing.
Right.
These guys come in my goddamn, like, they come in my arena.
And I'm like, perfect.
I'm like, Meek Mill is trying to beef with me and argue with me in DMs on Twitter and by
just making videos that the social media is going to consume.
And he's threatening to stream.
He's like telling you I'm going to stream.
And it's like painful to read it because it's like, bro, this tweet has 300 likes.
Like if you stream, it's really going to be a mask off moment where we get to realize like what your actual fan base consists of, which I mean, he probably could pull a decent audience to start because people are going to be on the hook to like find out what this is going to actually look like.
It ain't going to last very long.
Yeah, let me tell this.
Meek Mill wouldn't pull a thousand people consistently if he stream.
No.
Let me say this.
You see, people look at, and this is why.
you know, Meeke's always been a dummy.
They look at it that I am streaming
and I get, I don't know,
maybe like 14,000 like on average
all platforms, just random night.
And they're like, well, if I'm way more popular
than academics, if academics could do,
they don't understand that streaming
is nonstop work.
Let me tell you, I've seen Blueface the show
140,000 you made in the week, right?
So it's about like half a million
who make it a month.
The camera's on 24-7.
24-7.
This is the hardest he's ever worked.
Now, granted, you might not consider it work.
But you're going to, you're streaming.
A rapper doesn't like doing nothing for more than an hour.
Nothing.
Yeah.
When they tell me, when Meek says he's going to, I would, I would, we could be in a competition.
I don't care how popular you are.
You got to go put the work in.
If you couldn't put the work in in music, you think I think you're going to come over here and put the work in with streaming?
You're going to end up like Polo G.
Poli G did a few streams.
The numbers, obviously, the numbers, it takes a while.
Yeah.
Sals Walker right now.
Yeah.
Again, you know, it's gonna take a long time for the numbers to get to where people think it should be.
Hmm.
And at least sauce is shown some dedication to it.
Right.
Right. Ray, they show some dedication.
Blue's definitely dedicated.
You think me, like the ego, the moment I mentioned that, you know, and it's not at Polo G, but it's just reality.
The moment I mentioned that I was like, yo, the Polo man, like, you might as well focus on music, bro.
like you're streaming to 140 people, never streamed again.
Yeah.
And that's the equivalent of an artist realizing they're not here to work through it.
Right.
So when Meek, after he does supposedly, I'm going to stream in front of your house.
All right, cool.
After that one viral stream, if it even goes good and if you're alive.
Yeah.
Let's see what happens on day 16.
Yeah.
We've seen all your cars.
We've seen the Roli collection.
What are you going to talk about?
Yeah, I mean, because that's like the thing that Sauce Walker has been going through is that
now, like he used to have this like image about him where he was this cool, lean drinking rapper.
And now the people like, all that aura has been removed.
And they're like, oh, you're a violent domestic abuser who hangs out in front of the smoke shop and yells at crackheads.
And you are essentially one of them.
Well, so that becomes a problem.
It's, it's, it's, blueface did the perfect thing because blueface already was kind of seen as a degenerate.
Yeah.
Like he was kind of already like pushing the limits.
but I would love to see someone like Meek Millstream.
The unbecoming of Meek, I know you keep saying it's Twitter.
Anytime, you know, I said this yesterday about Rick Ross.
I said Rick Ross might be the only person we've never seen break character.
Nick walks out of jail, he's still Rick Ross.
We've never seen Rick Ross break character.
He's just cooking that up while he's sitting in the cell.
Bro, he's, yo, we've never heard William Roberts, ever.
Yeah.
We've never heard him.
Like, we've just heard Rick Ross.
That same boss talk,
like the sounds, like him talking like he's above.
Like, I wanted to even hear him talk to the judge.
And bro, I'm interviewing gunplay,
and he's telling the story of like coming up in the rap game
and him and Ross being in the hood or whatever.
And I kind of say at one point,
I'm like, you know,
I noticed that this story doesn't include a lot of like,
you know, high profile drug trafficking.
And he just kind of like,
you know, he breaks character.
on behalf of Rick Ross right man,
but he knows that he can't say,
nah,
Ross was never a drug kingpin.
Yo, even when he was confronted with the,
the CO rumors,
and this is why Ross is great.
Never broke character.
The problem with, like, say someone like meek, though, right?
And I don't make this like too much of meek thing,
but like,
it's just rappers like him.
I know you said Twitter ruined him.
No, us getting to know him ruined him.
Yeah.
When he gave us the facade through,
music of this guy.
Like everybody knows this hood nigger who you think
it's tough. Loves dirt bikes.
He's whatever, whatever. Like, he got
enough gangsters around him that you're like, that's
like the guy that all the bitches in the hood
want to fuck and enough guys want to
be like. And if he's now rich and he's made
it off of this, he's a street success story.
Yeah. You don't want
to know this guy beyond that. And the
problem with him, I think
the yes men around him never said, hey,
listen, like,
I'll use even a better example. Love Cardi.
But I don't know if the audience really wants to know Cardi.
I'm not saying anything that's an indictment on his character.
But I think he knows like, yo, bro, they don't want to know like these little pet peeves of mine.
They don't want to know this.
And I should keep this away.
The thing with Meek is that overtime as I'm watching him is not just Twitter.
I started to realize like, you know how like I overshare?
And it would be like, yo, accurate corny.
And I got own it, right?
I realized meek overshared and I'm like,
Nicky he's as corny as me.
And that's the,
once you get to that point where people could compare you,
like a rapper has to be cool.
That's why I tell him either lean all the way into streaming or don't.
Yeah.
Once you're not seen as the cool guy anymore,
he's overshared too much.
Because they see a neon and they think,
well, neon is cool now and neon's on stream many hours a day.
So therefore,
one way that I could become cooler is to become like neon and stream all the time.
But it's like, no,
it does not have that effect.
The reason why a rapper is able to put out a three-minute song and sound really cool on this song where he's got an expensive-ass beat.
And he just spent the last, you know, a couple days thinking up punchlines.
He's got a writer to help him all this type of shit is because you're delivering yourself to them in these tiny little chunks.
The same thing is true of like a TikTok or an Instagram real person.
Like forever someone will send me an Instagram real of somebody saying something hilarious and it's like 30 seconds long.
And that same guy, if he hops on stream, is not going to be able to be hilarious for four hours straight.
You know, if he was, he would be able, he would do that.
But like, the truth is that there's not a lot of value in making the short form content.
And there is a lot more value in having that hardcore fan base that will fall you to the end of the earth.
But it's just like, it's two completely different skill sets.
And if you want to be a streamer, you basically have to either be willing to be the clown or you have to be willing to be the badass who will crash out.
You got to be deprecating content.
Yes.
Right?
And, like, I've always been cool with it.
Again, I always do this comparison.
And a lot of people, which obviously hindsight is so like 2020
that when I make the comparison out, people just cuss me out
because it sounds ludicrous.
But there was a time, 2015, okay?
2015, especially 2015.
I used to say back then, and there was a comparison between Future and Meek Mill.
Meek Mill sold 250,000 records.
Future sold like 180.
Then he did the collab.
What a time to be alive with Drake.
Right? So he was on a crazy run, but Meek also was on a crazy run.
And what I've done since then is compare both artists.
Now, granted, I do agree. And this is where they cut me out about it.
Like, oh, how can you compare Meek to Future?
Future is a generationally way more talented.
Cool, I get you.
But at that point, they were kind of like success-wise close.
Rapping, like pure rapping was a lot more market well at that time, you know?
But let me tell you some differences as well.
Future has like one interview since then.
I think if we got 40 minutes of future vlogging or future just talking,
futures communicated to us in one-liners from songs and basically tweets.
And tweets that have nothing to do with anything.
These are almost like biblical like hood nigger like ain't shit type of dude tweets.
Future has maintained his whatever you want to call it.
Or this and third almost turned to almost like a deity status in hip hop where future is like 42.
He's still rapping about like in every bitch in the world.
He's rapping about shit that at 25 year old should rap about,
nobody says future year 40.
Yeah.
Right.
Meek and everyone else, they already broke that mold.
They broke the, I see somebody say this about future too.
They were like, yo, you, future the only nigga
that I've been rapping that we have, we don't know about none of his ops.
Like, yeah, like he's done a really good job of making us believe in the future story.
He's the ultimate, you know, bitch magnet.
He's the guy who got all the girls.
Yo, he's still a street dude that handles business.
We're not even, like, doubting him like, is future really like that?
That's why even the whack story was like, wait.
It was so weird to hear him humanized like that.
Exactly.
Everybody else.
Or when the security guard got knocked out and he ran away?
Yeah.
That was like, whoa, like future's a real guy.
The mystique, the mystique of like future, he still kept.
I think it's the same thing with Youngboy, even though Young boy's still pretty young his career,
but he's been 10 years.
Yeah.
You give enough, but you don't give too much.
Yeah.
Right?
He comes with these incoherent, like,
yo, fuck you bitch.
Like, and then he'll kind of like disappear for a bit.
There's some artist that you've realized over time, like,
it reminds you of a,
yo, you ever see the Snap Pop rappers?
Like, they come out, like, you know, you know, them franchise?
I'm not trying to dissim.
No, because I saw them with a Drusky in Atlanta at the Drusky show or whatever.
Okay.
Now, as soon as you see that, it reminds you of 2000.
That's what happened to like certain rappers, but including me like it reminds you of
Thatpith. Yeah
There's nothing current about it. Yeah, and I think that's why you know I see a lot of rappers they've either lost her or or they
They've just kind of lost like the thing that's made them unique to the the fans and I give credit to the ones
Who could keep it even like Drake. I'm not gonna lie like
Drake fired up a stream like three nights ago at midnight and wasn't that big a deal right? Yeah, but but here's the thing
Drake is such a huge artist
There is like a constant thinking that
Yo, how could he maintain this and be this accessible?
Yeah
Like he's supposed to like, you know how they said like Jay-Z
Jay-Z's never on Twitter even though he is
Because they called him following a couple pages
And they're not followed but
Drake is the most accessible person that it hasn't affected
Yeah
Where people now look at you and say
Yo, this nigga's regular.
Right.
I remember in 2017 when he first followed me back,
it was like, I'm looking at his account
in every single rapper that I was around at that time,
whether it was smoke perp or little pump or X or wherever,
they all followed either zero people or like four people.
And then I'm looking at Drake's profile.
It was 10 years ago.
He's following like 3,000 people.
And I'm like, that is so insane that all these rappers I'm around
are using that as a way for them to maintain their aura.
And he doesn't give a fuck.
And he's like that still kind of like with the media and stuff
that he's just like willing to sort of,
to stoop down and communicate with people because he realizes that his success has been so extreme
that he's able to like kind of normalize doing that in a way and it just won't affect him like
it affects other people meanwhile kendrick yeah cannot just pop out like kendrick is the worst like
what you're saying about future kendry's most extreme version of that if you could just see
kendrick in a room around a bunch of other people for for 20 minutes on camera yeah i think you'd
realize very quickly that he's being outmogged by people who are literally like in his own
circle. Like he just doesn't really have that
crazy star power to like light up the room. I'm guessing.
I think he would though. But but I think he's careful
with again,
Mink is just a beaten stick. I hate to say it.
Because he's so stupid. Like I have to use his mistakes
to point out someone else's greatness. I'm actually giving Kendrick some
credit here. Okay. Hopefully the owl covers his ears, you know.
Yo, no, no. But on some real
shit. Kendrick's
music builds up a persona.
I don't believe that's
Kendrick at all times. I'm not saying it's not part
of his persona. It's impossible
that's him at all times.
And
sometimes when the audience latches on
to a part of your persona
or latches on to
something you got going on,
you can't fight it.
You just let them run with it.
And if anything, you just don't
show you don't be forward facing.
Yeah.
And I think that's what he's done.
He's just kind of fell back.
He just kind of fell back.
I mean, okay, there was one story that came out a while back that, to me, this kind of
like said everything about Kendrick.
Okay, Shia LeBuff in a 2026 interview described a conversation that he had with Kendrick
Kamar where he said that Kendrick essentially told him that he didn't care about
politics.
Like he brought up something about like Trump and Kamala or some shit.
And Kendrick just like, to his face just said like, man, I don't give a fuck about that
shit. To me, that was just so like flying in the face of everything that he claims that he's
about as like an activist and a revolutionary and shit. You can't bring yourself to have an
opinion about politics. I don't think you're really like what you're selling us.
Yeah, but I wouldn't blame that on Kendrick, right? Because it's like it's like me listen to a
gangster rapper talking about how many people he kills, right, or what he would do. And then find out
that that's really not what he actually does all the time. Like he's not. He's not.
King Vaughn, right?
Like, I don't expect, I think the fans have built this idea of Kendrick that he realizes
profitable to not try to be like, yo, guys, calm it down.
I'm human, right?
So he lets that narrative kind of fester and build because it's profitable for him.
And it creates this, like, you know, I personally believe he wants to be the number one guy.
I just feel like he doesn't want the number one guy work, right?
Like, you know, I made like this analogy where I'm like, yo, Kendrick's the guy who wants to
sub in the game with two minutes left, take the last shot.
If he makes it, he's like, yo, I'm the hero, I'm the MVP.
He doesn't want to play 48 minutes.
He wants to play like two minutes.
Right.
And the reality of when people thought Drake was going to be out of here is that Drake,
even in his 15th or 16th year, right, he's down, actually 17th or 18th.
He's down to still put in those, you know, you always hear about football players,
be like, you know you're done when you don't want to go to OTAs in the summer.
You don't want to actually put the work in.
You just want to show up when it's Sunday for the first game.
No, Drake is still putting in tremendous amount of work.
And that's why I think Kendrick, you know, you can say whatever you want to say about the battle,
but I think he personally wants to be undoubtedly the number one guy.
And maybe in some people's minds, they're like, okay, all right, you can rap better than Drake.
Maybe some people say that.
But they'll never say he is overall will beat Drake in a long run because Drake just works.
worse harder than him. You know? And then you obviously have the people who are grifting like,
nah, it takes some time to create like these songs. I'm like, dude, come on. You know,
like, come on, bro. I mean, because what does he really have to do on a day-to-day basis? Like,
you probably love rapping enough that you're in the studio on a consistent basis. I don't think
that there's some huge reserve of hit Kendrick songs that we haven't heard yet. I think if he
dropped at the kind of frequency that Drake dropped at, the flaws in his, you know, marketability,
popularity, et cetera, would kind of show like pretty quickly. I don't think he has a 20-song project
every year, average, like the way that Drake essentially pretty much drops that much shit.
Well, it would just match to, again, the aura that I believe people have created for him.
Like, this is this master at work that's he's not, people act like he's the only one that's
not doing it for like money. Like, he's doing it for some holistic reason. And yeah, like,
he's smart though. Like, one thing I've always,
said, I think Kendrick, him or is his team, I give both of them credit, or like, you know,
hit him along with his team. They're incredibly smart in terms of knowing timing, knowing that,
hey, listen, if we tried the Drake method, it would probably hurt overall more than it would help
because we can't do what Drake is doing. However, if we go on this type of realm, like, if you
think about it, let's go to the amount of songs put out on Spotify. Drake, Drake has probably
put out almost twice amount of songs as Kendrae-Bomar, right? I would think more than that, yeah.
Well, credit it. It might even be more.
You go to Corby and figure it out.
But if you kind of look at the numbers,
Kendrick does good for, like, he'll still be in the top five,
and he does it with less numbers.
And here's the thing.
I give him credit because it's like, all right, let me talk to,
let me use YouTube videos or YouTubers as a comparison.
You know some YouTubers, they only drop once a month,
3 million views.
Yeah, yeah.
You know as a fact, if they dropped every day,
that shit is 100,000.
Oh, yeah.
So that's the, I think Kendrick is smart enough to know,
hey, if we dropped at the pace that Drake drops,
our numbers come down.
Right.
Right?
And they know that it's all about the image
that you're presenting of yourself.
So Kendrick can get by,
the same way that Rihanna is still coasting off of putting out,
she doesn't put an hour,
eight years or whatever it's been,
the same way Cardi B was for a long time.
You know, it's like when you,
your last move really is the most important move that you have to make.
And it's like you're able to kind of coast by and have that good image off of dropping something popular,
even if you don't drop consistently in music, in content.
Obviously, it's a different game.
And also, Drake is just up to speed on, you know, whether people like this idea or not,
Drake, NBA young boy, these are people that they know, they've figured out a way
to over-deliver music
and they're dropping more than their peers.
But they still have that aura of not just like,
you know, being seen as like spammers.
Maybe Youngboy a little bit.
You see that as a spammer,
but Drake has put out three albums.
Here's four more songs.
Like, Drake is constantly having an uptick in,
and put out music.
Do you think that Drake in some way,
despite the fact that Iceman and the other albums
seemed like they did very well,
do you think that there's still part of him
that wants like a true global smash hit?
record on the level of some of the success that he's seen in the past. And do you think that that's
partially why he's doing the L.O. Langley remix is because I think that song is so gigantic,
but it's also like so easy to miss for like half of the country. And he could kind of like make
it his in a way that could give him that big hit. Yeah, no, it's actually interesting because
that's actually one of my criticisms of him. That I don't think he's chasing. People, my
might say, oh, what about the Nokia song, right?
Like, who's called my phone?
But a lot of the music, you hear him kind of putting out,
even like this Janus shut the fuck up song, like, bro, he's kind of really rapping on there.
It doesn't really sound like trying to make a hit record with that song, you know?
So, like, he hasn't gone for the hotline bling, hotline, bling, tussie slide.
Yeah.
I wish he would do another type of one dance record.
And I think he's just at that point that he's like, yo, I'm just going to put out rap and it is going to be pop.
That song in particular, I don't think he was doing that.
And a lot of that comes from like, you know, even just a little bit of info I have from outside of it.
Like, bro, he was really, he was, I think she was on tour of Morgan Walla and something like that.
And I remember talking to him and he's like, yo, bro, yo, yo, this chick.
He's like, this might be out of your lane, but like, yo, this chick, she's so dope.
Like, so he's a fan.
Yeah.
Right?
Because I hadn't, I don't think I'd heard that song until he went to her show.
And then I'm mentioning it to Lena.
Yeah.
She's like, this has been the biggest song in the country for X number of months,
and I'm totally blind to it.
And I've seen a shitload of other people having that experience on social media and shit.
Yeah, so he was just genuinely a fan.
And then I don't even think he asked her.
He didn't even ask her like, because Drake could be like, hey, let's do a remix.
Right?
Now, granted, this could be a good conversation of saying,
would she actually want to do a remix even though it was Drake?
Because it's the most successful song in Billboard history.
Because Taylor Swift has features from Kendrick and Future.
And it's crazy looking back on that era where Katie Perry went and got a juicy J feature to turn her record up.
That dynamic has totally died.
These pop star girls just don't feel like they have a lot to gain from getting a leg up on the hip hop community with a remix now.
But also, I like Drake just sticking to his formula.
It's like when Drake heard Fettie Watt My Way and he's like, yo, I'm just going to just do my mix of it.
And that's what it was.
So that wasn't really supposed to be like, yo, L.
Langeley put me on a record. It was like, yo, I'm still kind of cooking up. I'm still like
working off certain vibes or whatever. He makes the song. I think him and Don Tyler was working
together or something. And Don Tyler hops on it. It was supposed to be like a nice vibe in
FOMO and people loved it. They're like, they never heard the song, right? Like that audience never
heard the song. And, you know, the reason why I say, I don't think he's chasing that because
it would have just been a remix or he could have held it and went through the entire,
process of saying, hey, listen, I'm Drake.
Let's figure this out that this is the remix that comes out.
And he literally pretty much just did the record, like, without even, you know, whatever.
And then he wasn't even going to put it out.
So it's just going to be like one of those, like you can find on YouTube thing.
And the audience was just saying, yo, what's up with the record?
What's up with the record?
And he was going to put FOMO out.
He literally gets it clear.
Ella Langley clears the record.
and essentially he tells him I'm good off the publishing.
So that wasn't her call or her team's call?
That was him saying, like, I'm good.
Y'all can just keep it?
He didn't want to go through the whole, like, you know, because,
because obviously everything is the music business.
So it would be a negotiation to center.
His thing wasn't trying to like,
I'm trying to capitalize on a moment,
or I'm trying to just insert myself into something,
yo, this is a song that I kind of made into a vibe
for like the people who rock with me and yes it might add on to the song but i didn't do this to force
myself in a moment so when it came to him putting it out he's like yo i don't care about the
publisher so he gave it up because because people always want to like compare and say that he's he's like
to hip-hop what taylor swift is to pop music but that's like such an opposite of what taylor
swive doing the situation because do you know about her taking the publishing from olivia rodrigo
olivia rodrigo was like the biggest taylor swift fan ever and then she put out a song and
She told Taylor that there's part of the song that was influenced by one of Taylor's songs.
I swear to God, if you listen to these two songs side by side, you will not understand what the fuck they're talking about.
Because it sounds, I forget, but it's like, there's TikTok and shit that put them side by side.
But so Taylor Swift's team, boom, hits her with the fucking publishing thing.
And since you have not heard Olivia Rodriguez have anything to do with it.
And it just stands out to a lot of people that, like, Taylor Swift, like, you don't have to do that.
Like, you're the richest bitch in this entire fucking game.
No, but it's the game, bro.
It's the game, you know, and I mean, at times I've heard stories about Drake being in the same position too where like when, when, you know, obviously the Drake's stimmy everyone's begging for and Drake is like, yo, bro, I'm not trying to put out a record now. And someone's like, yo, well, I heard about it with Khalid. Like, yo, Khalid was trying to put out a record. You got to realize this is how big the Drake effect is. Your label is looking for a single. If you pull up to your label, me, then say, I have a,
a Drake song, every budget is clear.
Matter of fact, the budget just went up.
Right?
So, like, this happens throughout the industry
when these artists are coming out.
You know? So,
supposedly Khalid
was trying to, you know,
use his relationship to secure a Drake song
to make sure that now
his album run or album
rollout could be in motion.
Open up the budget, do this and third.
Drake's not really trying to, you know, he's on a different
vibe. He's working on his stuff, this and third.
Callid is on his ass.
You get what I'm saying?
And also, Drake wasn't that fond of the song.
You know what I mean?
One thing I like about Drake is that he's pretty, he's pretty selective on what he puts out
in terms of perfectionist type of thing.
If he doesn't think it's the one, he won't just be like, I just add my name to it
and it'll work.
He's like, no, I want it to be the best shit ever, right?
Of course, Callow wants the song, I hear, it's a song called To the Max.
I hear that basically, even though.
No, well, I mean, Drake is on the whole song.
And that's the thing about Cali, because Katta's not really on the song.
Drake got like 95% of that song.
You get what I'm saying?
So it's like, that's kind of like a bullying, not really bullying, but like,
yo, Cali, if you want this out, you're going to get a bigger budget.
It's going to do X, Y, Z for your album.
Right.
But Drake's going to own the damn song.
Yeah, no, it makes sense to use that leverage, especially because Cala just seems more
and more useless every year that goes by.
Yeah, if I'm him.
I don't know what the fuck I would do if I was him.
And if I'm him, I would have been on Drake's team.
Yeah, he should ask for a job.
No, what I mean by Drake's team is like, dude, you were going to have the rollout coddled by Drake again.
Right?
Drake's giving you two songs.
Drake's going to give you a music video.
Drake is like, you know, like popping up with you and shit like that.
Like, it looks so great.
And then I just look at it.
I'm like, yeah, every time Cali sees like Gordo on stage with Drake, he's like, yo, bro.
Yeah, what happened to them songs?
But do you think that if Khalid had did, you know, one TikTok
or one interview where he said, you know,
Kenduk Lamar cool, but Drake is the greatest of all time.
That would have saved the whole relationship.
But that relationship is not basically the Kendrick thing.
It's more along the lines of the Ross.
Okay.
So there was other stuff there.
But I think if he was kind of vocal and actually said,
hey, listen, yo, I'm cool with these guys.
but still, y'all can't be going at my guy, Drake, like that.
That's my guy.
He's held it down for me, and whatever y'all is saying about him, that's not cool.
Now, granted, he would be kind of calling out his friends,
but I think in that moment, Drake was, like, looking around.
It's probably one of the clearest moments I've seen
where someone looks around and says, I'm taking a list.
And whoever who's around that's, you know, kind of still holding it down,
okay
I think the Drake that came in the game
looked at people like Rick Ross
with awe and appreciation and admiration
the same way that every hip hop fan does
and post not like us
it feels like he just kind of
realize
all these old heads like I'm the guy
I don't have to revere these guys
and actually I can box them out
and kind of diminish their importance
yeah yeah man he does it with hip hop media now too
I think because all these same old heads
that he used to kind of want to impress
He's just like, all of them.
That's the topic that I think the people who are critical of him,
it would hurt their heart to admit.
Drake realizes he's the number one.
And I've always said this too.
Not only is he the most important artist in music,
whether you like him or hate him,
he's the lightning rod to give you content to talk about every day.
So even if you're a Kendrick fan, you're going to make...
He gives you nothing.
You're going to make five times more videos on Drake
because there's so much stuff going on.
Drake has realized that
and I know it as a fact
I think he's like all right
I hate these motherfuckers over here in media
they get nothing
they get nothing
you get what I'm saying
and I think it's the same with rappers
I think now he's like
okay
so if you guys can't create any heat
without me
you know what I'm just gonna let you guys be
and I'm not gonna lie I feel like there's impact
no one wants admitted though
like if we were getting like
two to three Drake and Ross joints
You don't think Ross is still doing like 70, 80K at least, maybe a hundred.
I mean, those easy check numbers would have looked a lot different if Kendrick had popped on there.
Like, they both are capable of giving that influence on people.
Yeah, but Kendrick has never been known to do it.
True, true, true.
Nah, yeah, but I mean, even like the Draco thing, like, Draco in his career just, like, immediately just hit a completely different level.
Of one feature that realistically barely got promoted, it completely changed his life.
But that's what I would say.
I always say, Kendrick has the Infinity Stones.
I'm watching Drake now
curate his version of what pop and hip hop is going to be.
You can get mad at sexy red all you want.
Sexy Red is going to exist.
Drake is going to be.
He's realized like,
all I got to do is just not fuck with certain people.
Those people like ice them out.
Don't engage with them.
Don't engage with them.
They'll just kind of like lack the attention
in the algorithm that I control.
But even Jay goes into that box
where Jay's whole little freestyle moment
that he was looking to have kind of got at a very muted impact because people like Nikki and
Drake were smart enough to not respond.
Yeah, I think Ye did the best.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, because he was looking for somebody to bite.
But I'm telling you, that ability there is why I always say when you're the top guy,
you get to create your own industry.
Right?
Like the guys in media, you'd be like, all right, I'm going to give these looks, these moments.
And I think Drake's really smart with that.
Like, he'll hit you let you know whatever.
he'll tell me he'll tell whatever and it's his way of saying those other guys that used to be in that
algorithm they have nothing to talk about but talk about what adam act and a few other people that
i talk to say right and they can't even they don't even have the platform to be like all right
i'm just not going to talk about drake right so you know it's a privilege to be number one
Craziest thing ever is just the fact that he embraced everybody who backed him during the battle
when it comes to the media side of things, which I really couldn't have expected to be totally
real.
Like, I don't know if you had the foresight to be like, this battle is my moment to really show him
how hard I'm willing to go for him.
I didn't think that at all.
I just thought Kendrick was being hypocritical and that the whole profile angle was corny
as fuck.
And I spoke on it.
And I felt like he really, like, appreciated anybody who stuck their neck out for him.
Because in retrospect, it's kind of hard to forget what the climate felt like at that time.
Saying anything anti-Kendrick felt like a real, the fans were going to react in a way that was like not going to be good for you.
Yeah, I mean, yeah, it was a little bit different for me.
I felt like I locked in with him the most during the battle.
Yeah.
Because like me having like a significant media platform and him being the biggest rapper, like we were kind of like debating on.
certain shit, you know what I mean? Not necessarily just battle, but like just even where the game
is going and what everything was. And like in that moment, for me, I was just like, there was never
a time when I'm like, oh, I'm doing this because I want him to fuck with me more. In that moment,
why people might not understand was the moment that I felt or I had the same thought when I saw
people trying to cancel six nine and I'm like yo if this happens successfully I'm not as
important like so there was a lot of hey you know how you're the greatest and I've always like at
this point I'm like listen think about all the guys you try to cancel I've single handedly kept them
in the game and to me that shows more importance than being just one of the guys who are just like you
know so so and and I'm not saying that necessarily straight but I'm saying I'm watching all the media
guys like they feel like okay it's going the other way
And I'm like, yo, it's already known this is my favorite rapper.
If I bunker down, I know that it's impossible to lose when you're asking on your team.
I'm just sorry to say, it's impossible to lose.
You could just add up all the other media deals.
And for me.
But did you ever doubt that Drake was going to be the winner or that he was still going to have, you know, the career that he's had?
Like at that point, like, did you ever think, like, it might really be.
over. Every artist's career has to end at some point, or at least them being the big dog has to
end at some point. Did you ever think this really could be it? No. So what I actually thought
was, I remember having this conversation, I was just like, because we were talking about how
things were kind of like flipped upside down. And this is why I always told people, I'm like,
if Iceman dropped during that time, there was a thing where no matter what Drake did, he couldn't do
right. And that's why I called out of people who switched sides when Iceman came because they're acting
like their reaction to Iceman is in a vacuum. And I'm like, no, y'all hated for two years and it
became popular now to say, oh, I wasn't a hater that time ended to support him. Because I remember
talking to him and I was like, yo, we both acknowledge that the game wasn't being called fair. And it
wasn't just necessarily the battle it's just like yo everything you do right now they're looking at
the worst angles right and you know every time i'm hitting him like yo okay yo they're saying this
and he's giving he's giving me information to clear it up like no act this is really what happened bro
and the way how that kind of came about to people were like no matter what they were just kind
of getting at him so the only doubt i had was i was i was like i think people hate drake so much
they might never get to the point of just being kind of unbiased,
where if he has a legit point or if he has something that he does good,
he just gets praise.
Right.
Like before it was all like tied back to the song.
They were like, nah, he's not like a.
It was a lot of goofy stuff.
And I think in that moment, I think he kind of knew it too.
Like, yo, bro, anything I do right now?
Like, they're on my ass.
Yeah.
Let's make them miss me for a little while here.
I don't even think he said, like, make it miss me.
I think it was just like, I'm just keep working.
And watching him, like, I'm telling you, like, I see them clip me when I said this before.
In all the moments I talked to him about this shit during this shit happening, I never heard him kind of seem like he was in fear.
Yeah.
Like he was just kind of always, he was always like, yo, I'm just keep working.
I was always trying to detect that too of like, are you depressed?
Like, do you actually feel like shit about where you're going through?
And I never really got that vibe, which was kind of shocking to me.
because it just felt like it was supposed to impact him more
than he actually ever led on to me, at least.
I think it was insulated a bit.
Yeah.
You know, you got to imagine.
I don't think he's ever heard the song being played out in public.
Right?
I wonder how hard they have to go to make sure that don't happen.
Yeah, well, and I think for him, like the lifestyle he lives,
it's hard for him to see the effects.
If it's not invade in the space, it's hard from, I'm telling you,
I've seen one day, I thought,
was having a bad day on Twitter.
And I remember I hit him and I'm like, yeah, man.
You know, certain people are saying X, Y, and Z, but I know that, and like, I was Sean
talks.
And he was just like, what are you talking about?
Like, he had zero idea what's going on.
And it's not out of touch straight because he's not out of touch.
But I could tell, like, he wasn't on Twitter watching every K-Bot say some crazy shit.
Yeah.
And his way to deal with stuff was, let me just keep working.
Yeah.
And if you really take that type of mentality with anything, even in my toughest days online,
probably yours too.
Yeah.
Like if you just kept working,
it always,
the tides always change.
Yeah.
What I'll say,
I'm a little surprised by it.
I think he foresaw it happening quicker than,
than,
than,
I saw it happening.
What do you mean?
The,
like,
he knew how,
one thing he's good at,
he knew how the wave would kind of come back down and be in his favor.
Like,
he,
like,
he has a tremendous way of,
reading and analyzing like the culture, but bigger than what we think about.
Even when he just dropped these three albums.
Like I remember him telling me, he's like, yo, act, you, Iceman, I know you're Iceman guy.
It's for these periods here and to do this in terms of hip hop.
Then he gave me a month.
And he's like, yo, this is when this album's going to be popping all.
The girls are outside.
Like, he just described it so well.
And I'm like, it's no way this motherfucker is like he's that.
he's thinking about how much his music is going to affect every single crowd.
Like, I've never heard a rapper say,
okay,
so after these songs about me killing people kind of gets out of here,
there's this love song here,
where now we're getting into like, you know, cuffing season.
It's going to start.
Like, he described his music just like that.
And lo and behold, like, I kind of saw it kind of come true
because all the music that he was describing that would work for the times
and the people who work with,
like, all the women love the shit.
And then I was, I would start a scene.
I'm like, he scripted this.
This wasn't, like, by chance.
Is that enough experience
that you can, like, gauge the public's reaction
to a level that, like,
just most people just don't have enough,
like, internal analytics, like, programmed into his brain at this point.
And that was one thing that Lena told me about
when she went out to shoot the video and stuff
is that, you know, most people in his position,
you have music video guys,
and they come up with ideas,
and then they shoot the videos.
And she was just,
like he the entire time that she was there shooting that video he's just like brainstorming music
video concepts and just like going through so many different ideas and then meanwhile the video
team is having like a really difficult time like keeping up with it but he's just like kind of
bouncing off them and working on it but like even the thing that she did with the interlude like
that was supposed to be part of the music video for ho phase the original version of this idea
or like he's on a boat at one point the idea for the video originally was like he was
gonna be on that boat with Lena, but then like he pulled up and there was like fans already there
and shit and they couldn't do it because he wanted it to be a surprise. But like for me,
if I was in his position, I might just let the video camera, the video guy like come up with the
video concept. He's like 100% all in on everything. Yeah. Obviously, you know,
that's why you guys are similar. You wake up in the morning, you start working on the stream and
no detail is too small for you to obsess over. And I feel like that's a big part of what makes
somebody successful. And I think he's got that too. Yeah, but that shocked me. I didn't,
I didn't know that in detail.
Because you feel like you need to do that to be successful.
And you feel like he's good.
No, no.
And in his mind, he's like, I'm not good.
I need to do all this to be the guy.
He's so talented at rapping that the other stuff could be just figured out by other people.
He just needs to focus on one thing.
Yeah.
Right?
When I even went there to do the Iceman stuff, I was so shocked by like, you know, he's,
he's behind the camera guy.
He's like, no, no, no, cut, cut, cut.
Yo, move that.
He's literally.
And that's my first time meeting him.
I was like,
it's no way this moh
he's working this hard.
Yeah.
He shot three music videos at night.
We went out to dinner.
That's when I was going to change it.
He did that.
We went there.
He's brainstorming.
He's like,
he's so tapped into
and he's such like,
you know,
I think this is why some people
like older people in hip hop hate him
because he also has a sense of humor.
I'm pretty sure when he's doing that God thing.
I know how he is, bro.
Like he's literally,
he's doing it to piss people off.
Yeah.
Because even when we're doing the thing,
thing for me, the intro part of like, you know, Iceman, he looks at me and he says, he's like,
you know what it would be funny? They're, they already have a running joke that basically when
you're talking, like, you just got all the info from me. Fuck it. Let's do this. I'm going to like,
right before you start the broadcast, I'm going to reach my hand in and we like take a cheers, like,
almost like confirming it to fuck with those people. And actually, I think it made the video,
But it goes to show that on the fly, the guy is like thinking about popping memes.
He's trolling.
He's directing.
And like his work schedule is like ridiculous.
Yeah.
And I'm going to be honest with like he's too far in the game to be working that hard.
And I've been on music video shoes with so many like pretty significant rappers.
And like I feel like I've almost never even seen them talk to the video director.
Like the video director is telling them where to stand so they can do the tape.
and they just stand there and they do it and then they barely even nod at this guy after.
It's like, but I feel like people could learn a lot from that of like if you really
want to like have this kind of career, you need to be willing to get in the trenches
and care about every last detail.
The only question I have is like, was he always like this?
Because even when he was trying to get me, I go on like a two minute like, you know,
a little speech during the thing.
And I remember he's like hyping me up because he had asked me to act, do you want to know
what I want you to do before coming there?
and I was like, no, just tell me when I get there.
And I wanted to be kind of cool with like the professional.
I'm like, I'm a professional what I do.
I don't need like to prep too crazy, right?
You told me that was the only secret you ever kept in your whole life.
Yeah, I was.
For how long?
A couple months?
No, so I went to shoot at the ninth.
And the album came out to 15.
Oh, so right before.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah.
I go there and like, he gives me a pep talk.
He's like, yo, act.
I want that act when you're off the hands.
me on stream and you're like he describes it to a T but he describes he's like I want stream
act. It's like just pop your shit whatever you want to say and I go lie. It was a good pet talk.
Yeah. But it showed me like his creative vision of what he wanted to elicit from everyone
who he's working with. So I could see him with Lennon he's probably like he's probably thinking
about it already in the finished product to say okay what could make this shit really just jump
off the page. And for a guy who has to still craft music,
yo, how much hours is, it's going to sound like glazing, but how much hours is this
thing you got today, bro? I don't know. I was this thing. You're going to call us glazers
for this conversation. He's out with everybody all the time. He's partying like a motherfucker.
He's still got to write like couple albums. He's still got to like shoot videos. When did this
guy get time to like? You want to know a crazy thing. Leonard told me about being around him is that
when they went to the club or whatever after the 20 versus one yeah so it's all the girls from the 20 versus one and like a million other bitches and they're all just like hot as and she's like in there just like actually talking to him like they hit it off like on like a friendship level or whatever they're talking and she she said that it's like the way when me and her in public at like a rolling loud or something where i just have like a random dude coming up to me like over and over trying to take a picture and tell me some random shit she's like it's like that for him except instead of random sound like a
I'm cloud rap fans.
It's like a girl who's a 10.
Like a girl who's a 10 and he's looking at her like whatever.
Like maybe, okay, like maybe I'll talk to you a little bit or whatever,
but he's not really like giving them anything that they want from them.
And it's just so crazy to imagine that of all these chicks that like realistically,
almost every dude would get out of pocket willing to break the bank for.
And for him, he's like he's just been living this existence for like 18 years or whatever.
It's just nothing.
No, no.
Well, here's the thing, too, though.
He's like a walking lottery ticket.
Right?
Like, I'm going to be honest with you.
Like, even, like, a lot of women in Toronto, like,
they'll be like, oh, well, I've been to his house,
so I'm hung out with him.
Like, he's not that inaccessible.
No.
And he's a really nice guy.
Right?
Like, he's always giving shit away.
Yo, these women do look at him like,
it's not like, oh, I'm going to get with Drake and Drake's going to make these main girl.
Like, yo, these chicks want a bag.
Yeah.
Like, Drake is like just fucking Santa Claus.
One of the girls from the 20 versus 1, he didn't give her anything.
And she, like, I guess he, like, noticed that she was, like, a little bit, like, not super happy about it.
So he just, like, hands her his credit card and sends her out shopping with his driver.
And then she came back with, I think she spent, like, like, 30 or 40K or some shit.
And when she came back, I probably, I don't know.
Yo, I shouldn't be saying this.
Lennon's going to get mad at me about saying this potentially.
But, like, then when she came back, he laughed in her face because she didn't spend enough money.
he just like kind of clowned her for not willing being willing to go harder i'm like what the
i've heard some things man i've heard i've heard some things like i i don't want to put it out there
just because like yeah yeah it's nothing bad but it's like i see why and women talk right so i
see why women are like they're looking at this guy as the meal ticket of the meal ticket like
he's pretty generous.
Like, I've heard him give chicks
a hundred K,
didn't even sleep with him.
You know, just like super generous.
Yeah.
And, um...
Which is like shit that, like, normal people
would not be able to wrap their head around.
And that's why everybody thinks he fuck Lenin?
Because they're like, why would any guy
put this porn star on a music video and not fuck her?
And I'm like,
yo, I could like this.
If it was any other guy, I would totally agree with that logic.
But like this.
I know, I know a girl, she's a regular girl.
from Toronto.
And I'm like, I guess she was telling a home girl that I knew.
And I kind of jumped in a combo.
I was like, because now I'm like, I'm over your act.
So like, yo, you got to.
Now I get to like, nah, stop line on the mandam, all right?
And I'm like, yo, you need to stop.
I'm like, yo, y'all can stop gossiping about the guy.
She's lying.
And it wasn't a lie.
But essentially it was some chick that she's like, yo,
I linked up with him.
Like I was a random chick in a club.
He gave me like a hundred bands.
Like he just literally, we didn't even do anything.
Like, he literally was like, what would you want, you know, in terms of, like, what could change your life?
And she was just like saying random shit.
And he just gave her 100 bands.
Just like that.
Crazy.
Requested nothing.
Not like, I now, sup my.
None of that.
Which this is why, like, you have to imagine after what he just went through to have zero allegations and accusations.
That's what I'm saying.
You know how nice you got to be?
That's what I'm saying.
That's like how do you do that?
Dudes fuck like three girls in the industry
and then they got them making real
and TikToks about him and stuff.
Like how does he like pick the chicks
who aren't going to be psychos afterwards?
He's taught me something that.
So I'm used to be one of the dudes
where I'm like, yo, listen,
a bitch can't get a dollar out of it.
Like that's like the flex.
But then what I've learned is like,
if you're even fuck these chicks.
Like, yo, listen, you rather be known.
Like women even talk about you different
if they're like, yeah,
I went to hang out with act.
Yeah, we ain't even trying to.
And yeah, he took care of me.
He got me this, this and third.
And to me, it's almost like an insurance plan.
Like, if I treated you so well, I think any woman with Drake is like,
we can't even come out and say something, even if we're going to lie.
Like, the story wouldn't even make sense.
Yeah.
This gave you $100,000 for what?
Yeah.
Right?
But it is amazing that zero allegations.
Yeah, I don't understand that.
That's like pretty, pretty mild.
blowing. But, um, okay.
Okay. What about the Daphne Joy thing? Was that, was that like your first foray into like
potentially spending time with a girl who like came with like built in clout? Like, or was that
purely for the content? Uh, wasn't necessarily purely for the content, but it was like this
interesting. It was a little bit surreal because I'm like, I, I never go for industry girls.
I've noticed. Right? So now I'm like, the,
I'm like, this girl's dealt with Diddy.
What the fuck could even anything?
You know what I mean?
Like, she's probably looking at me like,
yeah, this peon, man.
Yeah.
But I'm going to be honest with you.
I was actually just shocked how down the earth she was.
Yeah.
She's pretty smart.
She knows how to kind of like, you know,
whatever like that happened with the Diddy stuff and the trauma,
like she's processed in her own way.
And she knows how to kind of like bounce off of it.
And like shit, I'm even out here like, we're about link up.
Oh, for real?
Yeah.
So the chemistry was there?
Like, you felt that she was actually into it?
Listen, surprisingly yes.
Really?
And she's the person, that's why I said,
she's like a sniper,
because I think she knows her way to charm
and kind of disarm the biggest of hard-on-hoog niggas,
which is I think I'm one of those.
Like she's like the,
all those little Instagram models chicks
who like, you know, as soon as they get a bag,
they're like boasting and be.
it over. If they studied how Daphne's Joy moved for like a month, they would be robbing
billionaires. Really? It would be robbing billionaires. She's got the game figured out like that.
No, she does. No, 100%. I mean, the way she was glazing you on that initial FaceTime call that you did
was pretty shocking. But then I think when she came in to do it with me, a little bit calculated.
She didn't give me the same exact energy and I was like, oh, she's not treat me the same
because she knows I'm married. I should have gotten up earlier. A little bit calculated. And
But beyond calculated, there is a way that she disarms people.
I'm telling you, like, she's going, you know?
She's a good one.
My thing with that is I want to get into the 50 beef.
And I never, you know, 50 said never came up one time, every time I've been around her.
But you never really interacted with 50?
No, but 50's always kind of felt like had a positive view of me.
I don't think he's reacted to any more content recently.
But also, I think he's probably expecting people to troll him.
Yeah.
Right?
Which I've made sure, like, I've tried to go out my way to not do that with 50.
Because 50's that like one rapper that like me, you, Vlad, everybody would love to fuck with.
And he's just always kind of stuck to his like old school media connects.
Yeah.
No, it's, I think he sees everybody.
Yeah.
But I think he doesn't align too closely because he never knows when he has to bite your head off.
Yeah.
And for me with the Daphne thing, I do feel like he's a little bit of a sore spot
and if people troll him with it.
Right?
I don't think he's like, oh, man, who's with Daphne?
I don't think he thinks that.
But he's always thinking, yo, if you think you're going to go get with her and try
to act like you have a one-up on me, I'm going to destroy you.
And that's why I've always stayed like pretty far of even mentioned.
And if you're fucking a girl that like has a famous baby daddy or a famous ex-husband or
whatever. I feel like it's it's kind of unbecoming to like talk about it. Especially
a media guy. Like you can't really like people are going to make jokes about it, but you can't
really like rub that in too much. It's just like and I say that as somebody who doesn't spend a lot
time thinking about being classy, there's something like distinctly not classy about that.
Yo, listen man, it's not even that man. None of us want beef with 50 cent. Oh, and not specifically.
Yeah. Yo, specifically 50 cent. I've watched, there's a few people that are on the list of
you never want to have beef with. And 50 is pretty.
I think he's number one.
So for me, like, it's one of those things where, like, even 50 disses.
Like, me, I usually take on all challenges.
But 50 disses you, you try to ignore it.
Like, you try as much as you can.
But he ever said your name or, like, did anything that made you feel like he was in any way,
like antagonizing you?
No, never, never.
I met him one time.
But, like, I think he just always looked at me like a media guy.
And, you know, he watches, like, stuff.
We reposted everything he says.
So I'm pretty sure he's, he doesn't align with the media because he says.
50s big than the program.
But I don't think...
Did you feel like for a moment you got to take...
Was the Charlemagne interview that you did?
Was that a little bit of your Not Like Us moment?
Because I haven't seen you take like a situation like that
where you could scroll down to the comments section
and have it be so unanimously opposed to you in a while.
But when I watched it,
I felt like you were making sense the whole time.
But something about how the fans perceived it,
They, like, really allowed that manic narrative to get into their heads.
The idea that you were sort of just this paranoid guy was like, you know,
he did a pretty good job, like, instilling that narrative.
I love that interview.
I love that interview because, you know, again, I study this media shit, right?
Like, this is my life.
It's every hour of day for me.
I got a rope adobee by old school legend.
That's all it happened, right?
You know, I'm the, you know, I think I got the fast reefer.
flexes and third. I kind of got the new style or whatever and I'm like I'm armed with facts.
And what was, what basically happened is a lesson that I had to take at some point, which was at
really the true top of this. And I have to learn that because I might have to do that to somebody
later is you got to know how to win, like me, I can't win an argument with no information.
Like, me, I'm a facts guy.
So I come armed with facts and I win.
This is the first time I felt like I came armed with facts.
And he ropedote me.
And almost to the point.
And I actually, like, when I say like I loved it is because I respect, I respect the strategy.
Now, personally, you know, obviously I was kind of like sitting there like,
you're Charlotte.
I've kind of looked at you as a friend and you're like being really facetious.
And you kind of feel like you're working on behalf of these people that I'm telling you have issues with.
but whatever.
But in terms of a media, like back and forth,
which by the way, I love these things.
Like, I think, you know, steel is sharp and steel.
Watching it back and him roper doping me,
I thought that was some classic.
Imagine Floyd versus Muhammad Ali.
You know, and Floyd are the best defensive boxer.
But then, you know, you have a Muhammad Ali who,
shit, he just had a style that was kind of like.
What would the game plan look like?
if you had to redo that one or if you had to go in for another round,
which I feel like he,
that was the most shocking part about it is it felt like he put real information
into planning out,
or like not information,
but real time into planning out how he was going to sway this narrative
as opposed to like you trying to come with like actual information and facts,
whereas you put less time into how this was going to be persuasive.
Yeah, I came with facts.
he realized I could make the facts seem obsolete
with the narrative being pushed a certain way.
No, here's the thing.
And that's what I said.
Like, you know, I thought that was just a brilliant back and forth.
Great content.
I think the people loved it.
I don't know how it would go again.
You know why?
You got to respect your opponent
and you got to respect the legend.
He's not a guy that would do the same strategy again.
Because, you know, I would come differently.
So he would employ something else.
But again, you know,
It's just kind of being prepared.
There was a little bit of disarm in there.
And obviously, here's the thing, too.
I've always looked up to Charlemagne,
so it's hard for me to, you know,
people kept saying,
yo, what happened to this act?
And I'm like,
this is a guy who have praised my entire career.
Like, you want me to go in and like,
talk to him like some, you know?
You want to bring up his old charge
and be like, well, now all of a sudden
I've decided you're a piece of shit because of this.
That's what people always try to do.
And it makes them look stupid.
Yeah, it's not even like even that.
on that personal type of tip.
It's just there's a way.
And for example, Charlemagne could say something to me
about media and perception
that if anyone else said to me,
I would look at them like they're an idiot.
Because there's reverence.
Reverence, because one of my first interviews
with people in the industry was with Charlemagne.
So there is a little bit of reverence
of if he's saying something,
if I disagree,
I'm going to get,
it's like your elder saying something,
you let him get it off.
Right?
you're not going to fight with it as much as somebody else who's not him.
So that's what I'm saying.
Like there is,
it's hard to kind of like jump over that,
that hurdle.
I understand you don't want to like fully disrespect him,
but I feel like you felt pretty fucking disrespected by the lack of sincerity in that interview.
And then when I'm watching clips of you afterwards,
it feels like there was probably a different vibe when y'all were shaking up and
saying goodbye after you did the interview as opposed to how you were talking about it on
on stream, even like a day or two later.
I mean,
I don't know.
It's like, do you feel like that was fake at all?
No, no, no.
I don't think that was fake.
What I would say is that, so when I live that room,
I was on a high saying I hit him with facts that he multiple times says,
I don't know about that.
What I forgot is the media rule 101, which is, yes, facts matter,
but the narrative matters most.
And that was an important lesson for me to learn.
Because I didn't think about the narrative.
That's why when I said, go look in the comments section,
I'm thinking about their score in the fight like his CompuBox.
Oh, who came with more facts?
And when I looked in the comment section,
they were going off the narrative.
Oh, nah, he started with this narrative.
And every time you did bring facts,
he flipped it to add on to his narrative.
So, you know, I should have detected that
because I'm one of the biggest drivers of narrative
in the world. You know what I mean? Like so you know but you live me and learn people be thinking like
these things like affect me. Ah, it doesn't affect. So at this point, what do you actually feel like is the
origin of the inverse wire website, which is like turned into one of the weirdest elements of all
this, just the idea that they would have started this fucking AI website. And then like Charlemann
trying to like cite this as a credible source to you like you were born yesterday was like,
I don't know.
That felt like so shockingly misleading to the point where I could understand how
disrespected you would have felt by it.
So I have a theory with that, but like, you know, I've stopped saying my rock nation
theories because without proof, people get to drive that narrative.
Oh, just manic, whatever.
Everything that came out, nothing is discounted my narrative when it comes to that.
With all due respect to trial, man, I don't think he's not.
Charlemagne smart enough to go build a website, okay? Or just even get AI to auto-generate a website,
right? So I never thought Charlemagne was behind it. I've always thought that Charlemagne was
operating on orders that was specifically coming from, the orders were coming from Rock Nation PR.
And I've thought even to this day that Charlemagne is operating as a shill of Rock Nation PR,
whether it's him defending Jay with the Kaepernick stuff. But I think, and this is just a wild theory,
The inverse wire AI website matches two AI websites that were made to attack Larry Jackson.
Larry Jackson is actually suing in court to figure out the genesis of that.
Larry Jackson, who is very much it would appear in bed with Drake at this point as well.
Okay.
Both websites were created seconds apart.
Inverse Wire was created on the day of or the day before Drake album came out.
I think Rock Nation had people create these.
I think they dispatched Charlemagne with it.
That's why Charlemagne just blanketly came out and said whatever,
but not really knowing, because now the website's been kind of exposed.
So I think he said that.
And by the way, the Larry Jackson's one, they got shut down why?
There's litigation behind it.
So Charlemagne just kind of used the info that is being fed to him by Rock Nation PR.
To me, I was calling out Charlemagne to be like, listen, you know this info is being fed to you.
You had a printout of that one website and you're being used as a mouthpiece.
And there's a part of it where I'm a little bit, you know, it's not even disappointed.
It's like kind of hurt in a way where I'm like, the person who I've looked up to an immediate perspective would never be used as a pawn in terms of, you know, doing things.
things that are so easily, you know, called out.
Yeah.
Like, it's not even like there's an invisible hand.
It's like Charlemagne is doing things down.
And that's why I watch other YouTubers just called out all day.
And I wonder, that's what I wonder what's going on.
I'm like, he has a $200 million contract.
Black effect, I don't know if he's doing good, but he's kind of having his way, right?
Why would he do these obvious things that kind of reveal him in the eyes of people who are into this hip-hop media stuff to be called a fake or a fraud?
That's the, I don't get it.
Because people accuse you or me of being like Drake fucking agents all the time.
But I don't think there's ever been a moment where you or I look more compromised than when Jay-Z or when, when Charlemann is sitting there.
there talking about Colin Kaepernick.
It's just like in that moment, I was like, there's no way that you could possibly be saying
this having been in media for as long as you have and not be conscious of how this makes
you look.
And same thing when it came to having that conversation with you.
It's just like I've watched enough Charlemagne over the years than when he's lying like
that, it's like I could see him like turned into this like reptilian form of himself where
it's so easily identifiable to me.
And to really address that because people might be like, well, you do the same for
Drake or whatever.
I want to be very clear with how I'm explaining this.
If there's a singular thing that I've said, right, that is proven fake or false,
let's say it's about Drake, right?
Right.
Let's say maybe he didn't even tell me, but I've said something about him.
Based on either my association, two more close, I will always come back and be like,
oh, I got that wrong.
that's much different
right so you could say
oh use a glazer or whatever
but if I've put out something
that's as blatant as this inverse wire thing
that is proven false
I would have been like damn I got bad info
and sometimes I have gotten bad info
not necessarily about trick
but just about things in general
I wouldn't run from it
I'm watching Charlemagne
doubling triple down on it
I thought when it was revealed
that it was an AI website
he was going to be like
ah oh man
I didn't know, but yeah, I saw him tripled down on it.
I'm like, that to me is different.
He's like a willing propagandist.
Like he's willingly on board with that, which is trippy.
You know, people see the chain and people see like whatever it's like,
and people think that, oh, you're just too much in Drake's corner or whatever.
And I'm like, well, first of all, people forget all the years that at one point I was pretty much his biggest critic.
Yes, he's my favorite rapper.
but it doesn't mean that I'm lying for him.
Right.
Right?
It doesn't mean that if you show me A,
I'm going to go just blatantly say B, which is a lie.
And, you know, every media person, like,
when I call out these guys for Kendrick,
it's not that they're cool with Kendrick, you know?
If they're lying, I'll call them out.
Right.
So, you know, people try to weaponize this,
oh, you're cool with Drake.
It's not every media personality should be cool.
with somebody. And the thing about Drake, too, though, is that he's not the kind of guy who would
be resentful towards you if you had a fair opinion about him. If it was... We've had those
songs. Right. If it was cruel, if it was, like, unjustified, if it was just, like, really, like,
sort of weird or, like, illogical, for sure, I could imagine him taking issue with it. But there's
never been a moment where I felt like he was going to, like, give me a hard time because I said I didn't
like a song or an album or some shit. Like, that's just not... I don't think he wants that level of
control. Listen, during the battle,
when we talked, this is, you know,
if you ever wanted to know the separation
between church and state,
I'm just using that as an analogy with,
like, Simeon Drake, you know,
Drake in the conversations that we're having,
he's like, yo, act,
yo, do your job.
Call the battle.
Like, call the battle.
I'm going to do my job.
I'm going to wrap my ass off.
And we had that conversation,
where it's like, yeah, it is kind of fucked up
that maybe a lot of the media guys,
they feel like they want, you know,
me to take an L or whatever, but shit,
if you feel that, you know, I didn't do X right or whatever,
call the battle, bro, call the battle, right?
And he's like, yo, because what I'm going to do what my job is,
my job is to rap, you know?
And that conversation came from,
I think we're talking about just how, you know,
everything was skewed.
Right? And I was just like, yo, these days, like, because people know you're my favorite rapper, if I, if I have a fucking decent reaction to like a Kendrick song, they're like, oh my God, look! And I'm like, bro, I've always like both artists, if I'm really covering the covering the situation. Yeah, yeah. And his thing wasn't like, nah, act. Yo, yo, why you, why you fucking with that? It was always like, yo, act, do your fucking job. Don't. Don't.
be like these other clowns that are just like, you know, they're mad over this one thing. I didn't
get an interview or whatever. And now they're thinking the moment is to kick my back in because
they think that there's a new king coming in. They're like, you do your job and just do it with
no type of like, oh, okay, I'm trying to be on the side of the guy who comes out on top. Right?
And he told me, he's like, yo, I'm going to do my job. My job, you know, I wish he's like, I
can't do the media's job. My job is to rap. I'm going to keep rapping. I'm going to keep putting
shit out. And yeah, that's what it is. And that's really our relationship, honestly. Because,
you know, even now, like, I feel like even sometimes I try to like even criticize them a little bit
more because now people see the chain and they think I won't. And most of my criticisms are usually,
it's constructive. It's still, it's within the realm of, you know, we fuck with you, but we want you to
be greater. I've always criticized them about rollouts. Did a great rollout. Right. So now I can say,
yo, good shit.
But then there's certain things
like, you know, you got to, like,
you know, I've criticized them before
even about the stadium tours
as we're coming up on his new tour,
which I don't know if it's a stadium tour yet,
but I don't know how I feel about that.
Did you go see the Kendrick store?
No.
I'm going to be honest with you.
It's tough to have.
The stadium was too crazy.
Just being that big and shit.
It's tough to,
if you've been to like a really dope hip-hop show,
Right. And I'm talking about, you know, obviously I've been to Travis Scott shows. I've been to Drake shows, Rod Wave, young boy, in terms of in an arena. When you get into a stadium show, it's a different feel. And while people just talk about the numbers that you could brag about, you know, I went to Kendrick Lamar, Mr. Morrall and the Big Steppers tour. And I went to the Grand National tour. Okay. And yeah, obviously, like Dave Freeman and Randner.
up and try, whatever.
But if I had to be honest, and his audience,
it's so hard talking about Kendrick
because if you give criticism, they think you're hating.
But that tour, way more intimate, it was just better
in terms of his performance.
Now, I've always said Kendrick's a good performer.
It's hard to do it in a stadium.
I've heard many people say,
stadium tours are great for pop acts,
great for bands, great for singers,
rap is very tough to be in a open air stadium
where you're trying to get people
to get into some of these things
that make a rap show great.
So, you know, I don't know if Drake's going to do a stadium tour.
But if he does do a stadium tour,
you know what, my criticism would be then
or not criticism, but like, you know,
I would hope he performs more songs
where he's singing rather than rapid.
I don't hear rapidly, rapidly,
shit really going down
the best and that's just the critique of stadium
in the stadium you feel like rap versus
the R&B stuff is different
yes you go to a
Chris Brown concert the weekend the weekend
stadium tour amazing
it's it's amazing when there is
60,000 people singing
your stuff
rapping when you have those songs where you're
it's about lyrics it's about
this it's not much
performance factor in terms of like you know
Chris Brown is flying through the fucking air
Like you go watch the weekend
The stage is so big
He has like about 30 dancers
That's doing whatever
Yeah
Like a lot of
If you go watch Drake
Is Drake versus 20,000
Yeah
I seen him on that tour
With Migos play Staples Center
And then I seen him
Do I think the most recent tour
Before the battle
And everything
Me and Brick went
And so those are the two times
I've seen them both at Staples Center
But yeah I mean like
He really struck me
I was just like
A far better performer
than like almost any rapper I've ever seen.
Like you just had like a crazy level of like athleticism,
like how much he was willing to move around,
which is obviously kind of like the flaw of like so many rappers over the years,
the Gucci Mains who just walk back and forth and just point at the sky.
You know, it's like that shit.
It's tough.
Like especially because I grew up going to see bands and shit.
And the level of energy when you see like,
can Slayer perform is just like a different thing
when you got all these guys playing instruments in unison and shit.
Yeah, but we're going to see it.
I'm pretty sure he's going to, you know,
he's going to break Kendrick's record.
So Kendrick has the record for worldwide in terms of tour.
I think it was like almost 400 million.
Drake has the record for North America.
And I could tell like Drake is out to smash every fucking record, bro.
So I'm pretty sure he's going to when he gets on tour, he's obliterate that.
From what you could tell you think there's going to be a time where he cools off a little bit and just decides to like chill?
Or you think that it's just like he's going to do this until the universe kind of tells him that he's a relaxed?
and I guess we could extend that to you as well.
You kind of have a similar mentality.
No, I was thinking about the same thing.
It's hard to do it.
He's in the moment where people will judge his next moment as his best moment.
Like imagine being almost 20 years in your career and they're like,
yo, if he doesn't do this, he's done.
Like you've not accomplished things for 20 years.
And he takes those type of challenges.
That's why I, you know, I wasn't that fond of him like even jumping into this battle.
But what him being in battles does is that it puts him on a, okay, I'm on my back foot back to the wall, let me fucking swing my way out the room, which that always comes with, remember, he was, he just did a tour, he was about to go on vacation, he locks back in, gives us three albums in the next 12 months, and gave us probably like a good 20 songs along the way.
Like, it's the reason why he's kept working is usually because of turmoil, people trying him.
And peace doesn't bring that.
Peace brings like, you know, let's go start a family.
Let's go get into other things.
And, you know, I feel like the way he lives, he kind of seeks that a bit.
You know, I've always said that with me, like, shit.
At times I'm like, yo, so none of these motherfuckers have problems with me?
Like, it kind of like, you know, I get up a little bit early when there's like issues going on.
Oh, did you see this?
So on so on.
I get up a little bit earlier.
I work a little bit later.
And that motivation still matters,
even if you have a 10, 15 year career
because what's your motivation after that?
You know what I mean?
If it's just money, it's like, you know,
like money couldn't be the motivator
for me to like still be making content.
But that thing of, okay, this is a new generation.
There's new people in media.
Everyone's like, yo, you still got to be the guy.
Yeah.
That's the thing that drives me every day is just the reality that I'm still, after 10 years,
in a moment where I have an audience.
And every single day, there's new people who are vying for the exact same audience.
And that if you take your foot off the gas, that you're just kind of like seeding your territory to them.
And then when I look back 10 years ago, my biggest regret is just that I wish that I had been a little bit more in tune that I had noticed the the trends that were.
taking place and just like had realized what was going to become of this game so my content
could have been better earlier and it's just like I don't know I sometimes I feel like I'm just
kind of stuck with that forever and I wonder if I'm ever going to snap out of that that feeling of like
but don't go hard today somebody else is going to gain ground you need that though yeah trust me
you need that you know like you need you know I've always said you can't be mad at somebody that has
something that you don't have if they work harder than you yeah and I I keep
I keep that in mind a lot.
Like even when I'm doing those 10 hours streams,
I think I've got to do 10 hours streams.
But like there's that thing where I'm looking,
I'm like,
you are these guys outworking me?
Like,
I think I've developed enough skill where I don't think people like,
where I'm like, oh, damn it, this motherfucker is way funny.
You're way this, way that on camera.
Because, you know, I think I have a pretty good grasp of that.
But it would kill me if I felt like
people were just working harder than me.
Like that would hurt honestly.
Okay, let's say fast forward a couple of years, you've got a girlfriend that you're totally in love with.
She says she wants to have a baby.
Is the first thing that you think of, I'm not going to be able to lock in and do the 10-hour little dirt stream the same way that I want to.
I'm so doing that.
Right, babe.
It will become more difficult.
I don't be honest with you.
Listen, maybe this is what God put me on earth for.
It's zero possibility of me changing my life for anybody.
That's smart to have that as your ground rule.
You know, I look at the great Skip Baylist, Stephen A. Smith, I'm going to be honest with you.
Obviously, like, in my mind, I would have probably had kids already.
For me, especially now coming out of my last situation, is like, if that doesn't really help this, this is, like, the only thing that matters to me.
And, like, even the last couple months, I feel like I've just gotten more commitment back to it.
that I'm going to be honest
I don't think if family
friends
if anything doesn't like
add to this
like I'm sorry
but like people who are concerned
with more like human things
would hear something like that and be like
how well your streaming career was going
when you were in your mid-30s is not
a replacement for the feeling
of having a family and children
and having you know kids going off to college
crying your eyes all these human experience
is that, you know, if you're really, truly dedicated to streaming,
you end up sacrificing a lot of that.
Yeah, it's different for other people,
but I'm going to be honest with you, like,
all those moments make me unhappy.
I'm unhappy on vacation when I can't work.
Really?
Like, I'm honestly, and I think people kind of understand.
Genuinely, the number one thing that makes me happy in life
is doing what I do.
Right.
You know, like, obviously, I want a cool girlfriend.
Of course, like, you know,
I'm not saying, of course, I would want a family,
but the number one thing that still makes me happy is like a fucking good month.
Like a great month?
Yo, I love it.
Yo, coming off of this September?
I was like, yo, it's a fucking great month.
You know, so people next close me, like, yo, so you're going to go on vacation?
I'm like, no, like, I got to keep this momentum going.
That's the crazy thing about streaming too, is that like when the Dirk verdict was coming in
and I'm watching you read it and I'm like, oh, he's been on for eight hours or whatever.
And now he's reading the verdict.
I'm kind of thinking, like, okay, this stream's going to end soon.
And then I realized, like, absolutely not.
He's got to hold on to the audience that he has right now.
If he wait today and gets back on, the audience is going to be significantly diminished.
Like, he's got to be there for them right now.
That's one thing I've created I'm very happy about.
And this is just grind.
People have looked at me as the news guy, even if they don't like, whatever I've said about women or whatever, they're like, yo, this is the guy when push comes to shove and we need to get the info at the time.
we're tuned into him.
And I didn't even think the numbers
was even going to hit that.
I remember we hit,
we had 72,000.
This is actually crazy.
Yo,
yo,
Brick, I'm with AC.
Yo, Brick, what up?
Oh, man.
Yo,
you know,
there's been a busy week, man.
Ask Adam.
There's been a lot going on, man.
Yeah, yo,
this week has been about streamer beef.
Man,
what you?
I'm glad that you write,
man.
What you got?
He's shot at Adrian.
Oh, oh.
What are you doing, AB?
He's telling on you?
Telling on me?
Me.
A.B.
Oh, big you.
Oh, I'm like, what I did.
Wait, what was Adrian and Bruner doing with him?
Some gambling shit?
Yeah, they restored him.
Yeah.
But is Adrian Bruner a street dude?
Kind of.
He told me.
Adrian Bruner told me he's a street dude, but he didn't really go into detail.
Damn.
You know what's so crazy?
I feel like that's like a half-a-day news.
Like, I feel like people will just...
Yo, I think you'll come up on the stream and it will be like,
and then?
Like, yeah, just move on.
Yo, people...
Could a streamer get really canceled for telling?
We haven't really seen yet.
No, but you can watch him...
Like, he's on a 90-day stream.
You can watch every emotion come out of his face
like everybody talks about it.
You do get the full reaction out of him.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, we're going to find out.
Damn, that's crazy, bro.
Is he making a statement?
We know, like, he's supposed to he's one of the extortion victims.
Oh, okay.
A little 5K1, you know?
Oh, really?
Oh, shit.
I'm going to put the whole play to get the reaction.
You got me?
Damn.
Yeah, I send it through.
I hope the best for A.B.
But, damn, that could be grimy.
I wonder if Dean is going to feel like he got to dip out.
Because Dean's a 60s lover, you know?
Like, he'd be hanging out with them and shit.
Ooh, that could get ugly.
All right.
So, you know, he's in there with Dirk right now?
Yeah, I know.
Yeah.
I know.
Oh, okay.
This call is from a federal prison.
Damn.
All right.
Well, yo, we got to break your ass out of there, man.
All right.
For sure, for show, for show.
No, no, it's good, bro.
I got you, I got you.
I got you.
I got you.
Hey, we're going to ComplexCon.
weekend? She's going with me. I didn't know that. Okay.
She's going with Deb. Oh, with Dub. All right, yeah. Okay. I'll try to keep an eye on
as well. Shit, that's Saturday? I don't know. Oh, it's at the thing. Yeah, Cardi's
performing, right? Or Ken Carson at least? No, no, I don't think he's performing just out here.
Oh, yeah, okay, okay. Yeah, yeah. I'm gonna do whatever. I'm just going all day, Saturday.
We're going to be streaming and shit. Yeah. I'm back on the West, man. I'm back on the West.
Yo, he got some military grade security to look out for a hit of J3 or something.
No, yo, yo, you know, Drey told me to come over here to see if the vibes were cool.
Like, you know, once I give him the green light, the whole YM going to be in CA.
That's right now? That's just an idea, you know, he's had some harsh words for Ack, you know?
Oh, Y over Kendrick.
Yeah, yeah.
Now, I, I respect the soldier that he is, man.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, shit.
Like, he's a dude that, like, everything he got in his life really is.
because of Kendrick pretty much, so you've got to give it to him, you know?
I respect to this, I respect to this soldier.
I mean, I'm just saying that Vice video like 15 years ago
that, like, introduced the world to hit a J3.
That was a Kendrick thing, you know.
It was like he put him on his fucking album.
Yeah, it was like a vice profile or something.
Yeah.
All right, I'm a holl at you and just...
I love Blue Heart.
Have your girl send the cash app again.
Hey, you're going to read the Cash app too.
I love you, man.
I got you.
I got you, bro.
I'll give it to him, too.
I'll give it to him, too.
I'll call unless I need you.
No, I know, I know.
Now I got you.
Much love.
How much you put on the commissary, man?
He's got to send him like a G at a time.
Okay.
That's actually a good thing.
Yeah, that's all right, right?
I don't know how much I'm supposed to do.
No, no, but I think some people feel like,
you know what you're actually,
you're killing this, at least for me.
What?
You're killing a narrative about yourself because I really think you're kind of like
a little bit heartless.
And I'm seeing you kind of like show the side of you that is like,
I care about something.
Remember, I always told you.
I want to know what you care about.
Even you talking about Lennon, like,
that's why I pretty much didn't really have
much conversation to have about that
because I'm like, you're actually
given your feelings about a situation
rather than just like blanketly trolling
or just like stonewalling yourself like,
oh, I don't care.
And I thought that was,
I thought that's different.
I think that's a different arc too.
Yeah, because I mean,
she was sort of like not feeling me
talking about it with the world and I was just kind of like I don't really see like what's the
bad thing that can come from me just being open and honest about it and it's like obviously that
was kind of the subtext of me like talking to you about the potential of you having kids and
shit is that I very much like look at what I was like as a dad in the early days in my kids life
and it's like I sacrificed a lot of that for content like to be in here 10 12 hours a day or whatever
it is and now I'm kind of like reckoning with the fact that it really kind of fucked up my
relationship with Lena to a certain extent.
I don't know, that's like,
but I don't think anything bad comes from like just talking about it.
Like,
what,
is the world going to judge me for being a subpar dad?
Like,
I'm not fucking sauce walker.
I'm not blue face,
no offense to them.
But like,
you know,
we see in hip hop,
our standard for what a bad dad is is like very different from the outside world.
It's about you.
I think it's about you in the sense of,
when people are trolling you or all the jokes.
Yeah.
I think they wanted like a moment of actual like,
human emotion of
yo bro you don't feel no way that Jason
loves smash your girl and they wanted like
even if they're going to piggyback and clown it
they wanted you not to be nonchalant
and you were mad nonchalant
like almost to the point I think it just pissed people off
where like I feel like porn really like zaps that out of you
and really just like being in the public eye content
and shit like that like having to read a comment section
or choosing not to read a comment section
where you could easily like scroll through and read 20,000 people
talking about you really like kind of numbs you to the world and then same thing with the porn thing
where it's like when I think about the conversations that I used to have about girls who did porn
prior to me being in this relationship and getting into the industry and shit like it's just so
different than the way I feel now where it's like very little sexually can really like agitate me
hmm let's get into that I guess that type of numbness yeah I don't have I've ever trying to think like
now it might numb to any of this shit
I think now, like, my biggest thing is I'm trying not to, like, any girl I meet, I, like, hit them with, they probably feel like I have a wall up because I hit them with the, hey, listen, I want to make this as non-official as I possibly could be.
Because, number one, I don't want to get, you know, somebody say, yo, I fuck your bitch online.
Number two is, like, I felt like from, like, past situations that I've always looked at myself in terms of, like,
Okay, I'm like this gladiator in media.
And most times when people had nothing to say about me,
all they could use was something with a girl.
They still try doing that.
Oh, Selena Powell.
I'm like, bro.
Ancient history.
You know what I mean?
Like, and that's the only thing they could use against you.
And I don't know, for the position or the role I take in hip hop is,
probably just doesn't help.
But I will say this in terms of like you used to talk about family.
And I've said this to every girl that I actually mean it.
Like, even like,
I've said like the life I live is, first of all, we have people like,
meek-nill claiming he's going to come kill me, you know?
Like, you go in my house, it's like, it's not even set up for kids, bro.
There's guns everywhere.
Dead serious.
Yeah, that's a terrible part about having a kid.
Dead serious.
You can't just leave your gun later.
Like three loaded guns under the bed, every room thing.
And like these vicious, like, none of that is for, like, kids.
And I've always said, like, when I was going to start a thing.
family or whenever it happens, I'm gonna get like another house down the street or some shit.
Like the way I live is like it's built for only how I operate.
So the shit that I talk, everything that whatever, if, you know, prepare for the worst,
that's how I live. And I can't really compromise on that. So, you know, well, I was just going to
say, you know the weird thing about, about me being single and actually like entertaining chicks
for the first time is that you just realize like they're all selling pussy.
I kind of miss that.
No, no.
It's worse now, bro.
It's crazy.
No.
Now, it's like they're soft selling it.
In a way where it's like,
it's not even like this, oh, okay, pay this to fuck.
It's kind of like, hey, because I know you have some money,
you know none of this is free.
Yeah.
You know this comes with me asking you,
oh, you're going to go to a podcast or I want to go shopping.
You ask a girl what she's into?
Shopping.
Yeah, yeah.
That's our only hobbies.
But then you have to, like, set your standards right away
to make it clear, like, I'm not just here to ball out on you.
Like, that's not at all what this is.
But I think the times as change, I'm telling you.
That it's just required now.
Okay.
I'll give an example.
Yuck.
Okay, I'm starting to pop off, like, 2014, 2015.
Yo, bitches are fucking me just for clout.
I love that.
Like, that's when bitches were, like, stupid.
They're like, yo, you're popular.
you got a blue check, they're fucking you for just that.
These days, everybody got a blue check.
Everybody has some level of fame.
If she's mildly attractive, even if she's from nowhere, Indiana,
she has, her standards is not that, oh, I'm fucking for clout.
Because back then, there was like this sellable thing with clout.
Oh, if I expose you or if people know I'm with you, that was a thing.
Now women kind of all look at it as, I'm here.
to see what I could extract in terms of money.
And it could be different ways.
Hey, send me some money for here.
Send me this.
Can you buy me this?
And you get to realize that now the currency,
it's like roundabout escorting 99% of the girls.
Back then, trust me, cloud worked.
If you think that just because, like probably even Drake,
maybe Drake gets it.
But even Drake, here's the thing.
Like, niggas, like, I would say, let me speak on James Hardin first.
Like, somebody like James Hardin, the word is that he's giving chicks a hundred grand.
So if you're now a girl.
The market is far.
If you're, if you're now a girl, right?
Like, I heard the story, like, dude gave like $500 grand to have like three, is like three or four or something with like a couple chicks for the weekend.
What the fuck?
Half a million dollars.
The market is screwed.
Now, if you're a girl that's going to fuck him, you're the bozo who feels like you're giving it for free.
Yeah.
So, like, now the.
The market is, if you fuck with him, you have to ask for it.
So some of these girls who, they're not even, like,
there's certain girls who every guy who they fuck with has to buy them something or whatever.
And there's the girls that not really.
But if they fuck with certain guys, they kind of look at it like,
yo, I know you sent her 30 grand.
I know you gave her a burkin.
I know you bought this for her.
And that's where I've watched the game come to a lot where, again,
I'm not saying every girl, but the cloud chasers has been replaced by the bag chasers.
Yeah.
And it's more of a open thing.
Yeah.
Before the women who you could tell were escorts, they would kind of be ashamed in a roundabout way to ask for it.
Now they proudly brag, I don't for free.
They literally, like they will literally brag.
And I'm telling you, back then, trust me, man.
You know what me ticks out, crack just off like, yo, he's lit?
Yeah.
These days, they're impressed by that a little bit.
Well, I had a couple of whirlwind years before I got wiped up Atlanta
where it was just the clout-based pussy coming in.
And I was just getting so fucking ignorant because I'm still doing drugs.
I'm doing coke and zanz and drinking with these girls.
It might still exist for you, though.
Everything was a whirlwind.
You know, I might still exist for you because they're going to see your clout in the porn realm.
Yeah.
Like, only fans, girls will, they'll be like, oh, let's fly me out.
But will I be in your content?
Because obviously that byproduct of them being seen and whatever.
But a lot of chicks now, these chicks are all escorts, bro.
Yeah.
The way OnlyFans girls talk to me is just very revelatory
because I realize that they look at my track record
and they're like, oh, the last girl that he wiped up,
this dumb motherfucker, which, hey, I love her,
but, you know, it is where it is,
I spent 10 years with her, had a kid with her,
let her do porn with other guys.
It's just like to a random OnlyFourkeye.
fans girl what could be better than that a guy who actually gets your life because i do it too so i'm
in the mix like you you just are not going to like shock and appall me by the fact that you do porn or
that you've fucked other guys or whatever and i just see how they they talk to me and it's just like
whoa this is really carved out a weird fucking lane for myself here yeah i'm not the fondest of these
only fans chicks but like because i always try to find the chicks that's kind of like in nowhere
in mississippi but i'm telling you these days these women have a
price.
Yeah.
And even if they feel like, oh, well, I selected him, but they still have this idea that
currency should be exchanged or you need to spend money on them.
And to me, I look at that almost like if it kind of comes as a necessity, like, all right,
all right, I'll give you an example, right?
I won't name it up the time for the other girls who are watching them.
They're like, when?
So I'm flying out as chick, right?
And we're having great conversation.
Great conversation.
And she says to me, like, you know, she did in the slickest way possible.
She's like, yeah, what's the weather out there?
And I'm like, da-da-da.
She's like, yeah, because I don't really have a lot of clothes like this.
And I'm like, okay, that's interesting.
I'm like, you're not going to be here that long.
And then she kind of like just parlayes this into, you know what?
I'm pretty sure we'll figure it out.
When we land, can we go shopping?
And I was just like, and then I start to realize because now she's trying to send, oh,
oh, I heard this place was cool.
Essentially, she's basically just saying, bring me to the.
a place where I could get some designer shit.
Of course I'm going to fuck you.
But I'm getting a shopping spree.
And for me, I was just like, that's basically you just asking me for like $5,000.
Like it's just not going to happen.
But I've noticed that honestly, a lot these days.
And it's kind of like a natural thing where they expect something in compensation.
And the rappers make it worse because these rappers, like Boston Ritchie, yo, with all due respect to his girl or his ex-girl.
Tati, it's no way she should have half a million dollars in her bank account because she was with you
for like a year ago. Right. But he kind of made that like his brand name at a certain point because he's
got a big female audience. But it's futures buying watches left and right. Supposedly future bought
Samaya car. This is like Vlad telling everybody how much he's paying people. Yeah, like just exactly
the same thing. The market is fucked up. You're right. Yeah. The market is completely fucked up.
But okay, let's say you mean a girl and you're mildly interested in her. You could see yourself taking
her serious. What happens in your brain the moment that you realize that she will fuck a guy for money?
Like she'll fuck somebody else for money? Yeah, like you can't take her serious at all? Or are you so
numb to it that you kind of are just like whatever. No, no, no, no. At that point, listen,
here's my thing. My new thing is as long as I'm not stuck with this idea of that's my girl.
Yeah. You know, like I've stopped what I would consider some toxic ways. Like, you know,
like bitch I don't want your location no more
I don't want nothing
like I used to have like this like you know
because that's what I actually have a girlfriend is
you kind of like whatever they do
you kind of want to you're kind of held accountable for
like you know if she does some whole shit
or she's whatever
these days I just know it's a free for all out here
I don't care if she's with 20 niggas
just don't I don't want to be the person
that's known for that's my girl
It doesn't gross you out from like an STD perspective though
because that's the one thing about when girls are selling
See, I'm like, I don't know what these guys got porn.
One thing you say about porn,
you're very, very confident that the girls don't have STDs
because you're all getting tested every two weeks.
Nah, all these bitches are fucking, man.
Well, yeah, most of the porn girls, obviously.
You know, for me, I'll be honest with you.
Like, when these chicks name drop a couple niggis,
I'm like, whoa.
Yeah.
Like, there's a couple rap niggas.
You're like, yo, that's, that's,
that's got all the SDDs.
The checkbox, check all the way down.
Right.
But other than that, you know,
Like most of these chicks, they're fucking first night.
They're all fucking raw.
Like, you're rolling the dice anyway, man.
I use the bandman kevel method, man.
Like, Bandman Kevin told me before he went to Columbia, man.
He said, like, yo, he got the prescription
where he popped the pills before he's fucking bitches, man.
You know, so he don't catch the chlamydia and shit like that.
Oh, wrong.
Yeah.
So he's like, yo, he gets the cure before he even gets the shit.
I feel like such a small percentage of girls have fucking chlamydia, though.
That's a nasty one.
I don't know.
Just like not.
Like, it's hard to have an SED.
Like, to have an SED.
STD and just be walking around with it, bro, that shit hurts.
Like, your body is alerting you to it pretty quickly.
Man, a lot of these chicks got STDs and don't know, man.
They call it all type of other shit.
That level of mustiness of a bitch not knowing that she has committee is so crazy to me.
And also, here's the thing.
I know some chicks that's gone burnt that they wouldn't even tell you they got burnt
because they don't want to even admit that they're fucking 10 other dudes too.
Yeah.
So STDs are getting passed back and forth.
and nobody wants to be the person
be like, yo, I caught something
and I was with you.
Because the moment somebody says
to be like, you nasty bitch, what you catch?
Yeah.
So I ain't going to lie to you.
You got to just protect yourself.
It's all for self-hire.
There's a girl I was talking to
and we're talking on Instagram
and, oh, I met her in real life,
but we're talking on Instagram.
And then I think to myself,
oh, I bet she's naked on Twitter.
So I go, I search her Twitter,
I go to it, scroll down a couple times.
She's not naked.
Then I see the email.
Just a tweet.
with just LA and then the email.
And it's a proton email.
You know what that is?
It's basically like you wouldn't have it
unless you were like a scammer
or like doing something like criminal.
And I was just like, damn, like at that moment you realize
all my hard work, all my cloud chasing has got me
is like a couple thousand dollar discount on the box.
Every other guy I know could get the same bitch I could.
They just get tax more.
Yeah, yo, a couple of my last flyouts.
I don't know a lot of you.
Like, I just realized that I changed.
And I'm trying to figure out if it means I'm ready for like a wife and kids.
But actually, I've never, never getting married.
But it just shows me just like how different I was from like years ago, years ago.
Like I've always said, I'm like TSA.
I flew out hundreds if not thousands of girls.
Wow.
And, you know, when they fly out, I'm trying to balance doing content with like, you know,
spending some time with them and, you know, doing whatever we're doing.
And these days, like the last two chicks,
as soon as they said something I didn't like,
like one was, they hit more, the shopping shit.
All right.
All right.
So I'm like, hey, listen, I'm going to be busy, blah, blah.
I'm like, all right, why are you busy?
Because you send me shopping?
I never responded to them again.
Br, it's like left them in a, like, a pretty nice hotel.
It's left them in a hotel until they went back.
I couldn't even deal with it, bro.
I'm just like, I used to have headaches
with like trying to, like, figure stuff up.
But now it's just like, once you, oh, okay, you're on the escort shit.
Okay, enjoy your next two days out here.
It's fine.
My card's on the room.
If you order room service, okay, whoopty-do.
Go back to wherever the hell you're from.
But at least you won't be like, I cancel.
You know, some dudes would be like,
you know, I canceled the flight.
You didn't want to do?
No, no, go ahead.
No, I mean, I got, when I got into the relationship with Lennon,
it was around a time where I was fucking like a bunch of new girls every single week.
And I was just feeling my temper, like my fuse started to get so much shorter
where I would hang out with them.
And I would fuck them and I would,
and I'd want to be out of there in like five minutes.
It's like literally like I have to flee this room immediately.
And that's when I really started to be like,
you know what, maybe I could be better off
and something nice and settle down long term.
But now I've been doing that for 10 years,
now all of a sudden being single feels
at least a little attractive even though I'm still,
still trying to make things work here.
I'll be honest.
You know what I'm never really into like OnlyFanshicks like that.
The one chick I probably wish I did fuck.
I'm sure DM me to, but like,
I thought she was showing until I seen her fuck like everybody else.
I think you fucked her.
Skybury.
I would have definitely fucking Skybury.
You know, Skybury, man.
Come back to your whole face, man.
You missed that on act.
But you know, there was one time she was on the stream,
she was like, your academics, I want to fuck you know.
I was just like, this is Selena Powell all over again.
I made a lot of money off her.
We signed her and we got 20% for the first two years.
And then within like two.
Herod real pimp.
You got to tell St.
Thank you.
Yeah.
He ain't got nothing on me.
But then like two months in, she's with like KSI.
She's with speed.
She's doing the side men.
fucking 20 versus one.
She blew up. Like, she wanted to
with me. For years, she had been DM me.
And then finally she gets through to me. I tell
Leonard, we got to sign her. We get the deal
gone. Within two months, she's with all the
A-lister. She's in Puerto Rico, fucking Jake Paul
and shit. She's, like,
legit hot. Like, the rest of these
chicks, the attractive
part of them is them being a whore.
Yeah. Right? Like, so you have a few girls
who are actually attractive that you're like,
if I never knew anything about this, I would
probably do a lot to try to
She's one of those.
Then the rest of these chicks, like, you know, I don't even want to, but you know.
Like, even...
I know the worst or the worst.
In the real porn world, I know girls who are eating shit for money.
Eating shit!
Like, girls, I'll fucking.
And then I'm scrolling through Twitter one day and she's covered in poop.
I'm watching the war hits, the war hit for everybody, though.
What do you mean?
Like, Slilis 30.
I'm watching a generation.
I always watch a generation die out.
And like I've seen her recently
She was like yo meek Bill if you want to set ACC up
And I was just kind of looking at her
And I was just like I remember when Sleen was like 21-22
And I was like it's crazy
Like her life probably could took her
Whatever way she wanted
And I'm like
It's like 30 31 just on
In Blueface's stream just
I mean she kind of found a new life
With a lot of the streamer shit
The Druski thing all that shit
Which which I'm happy for her
because in a sense of, like, I don't even mention these other chicks
because I'm going to see them make a video.
But you know the fell off, like, known scallywag.
Like, there's a couple of them.
Let's not say their names.
Yeah, sure.
But the ones of the other eras.
Yeah.
Like, I feel bad for them.
You know, she's getting up there, but she's still maintaining.
And I'm kind of proud about it.
Even though she was talking shit about me recently.
Yeah, yeah.
She hit me up super crazy the other day because Wack was calling her fat and shit.
She's like, I was pregnant.
I'm like, there's like a wall of text, and I just don't even bother to respond.
But the thing that got me with Selena is I'm at brain risk, and I'm sitting next to her
because they put our fucking seats next to each other.
And I got a phone charger, like a little battery pack thing.
And she's like, can I use that?
I'm like, no, I need it.
And she's like, well, what about once your phone's full?
I'm like, well, I'm going to need to save it in case I need more juice.
And she's just like, you won't let me use it?
I'm a fucking girl.
I'm like, what?
Like, what have you done in your life that makes me think that I'm going to give you the
lady treatment. Like this is not, me and you are, are bros. Like, yeah, you ate my ass, whatever,
but like, you're the homie. Like, you're at best. You are the homie. Like, really, I don't even
with you like that. Like, we're kind of ops. But I was just so taken aback by her thinking
that she was going to be able to pull the like, I'm a girl card. Yeah, she's been through a,
you know, someone got at me recently and they were like, you know, act like you have to take
accountability for people like that, like still existing. And I'm like, no, like, they never
mentioned a list, a laundry list of people, they were like, yo, you single-handedly kept certain
people in the spotlight when it was going to be dim on them. And people were trying to cut the
light off. And they named a few people, the Selena thing I disagreed with because I was like,
I'm going to be honest with you. Like maybe at some points, but like, in more notable points,
especially with my career, like, I was not standing next to her. Maybe she kept saying my name.
You never brought her over the house, right? You never made content with her. The world would
never know that you fucked her if it wasn't for her, like, advertising it and using it for promotion.
Exactly. And I said yes to 6-9. I was like, yo, yes, there was a time that the whole world
was trying to turn the light bulb off on 6-9 that, yes, I completely bullied the scene. You know what I mean?
Shout to T-R-R-L. I bullied the scene with like, I'm going to keep them in the combo. But for the
most part, I don't think like I've done that too much with certain people because they accuse me of
like the worst of the worst offenders you kept single handedly just visible. But it's like it's like being
a record label where it's like you put gas on the fire that's really burning. And as soon as the
fire stops burning, you could put infinite gas on it. I'm sure I'm fucking this metaphor for anybody
that actually like throws gas on fires. But you know, it's like at a certain point, it's just you can't
do anything. You give me a cold wrapper and a $10 million budget. I cannot make him hot.
I might be able to give them slight moments, but for the most part, I can't make them hot, no matter what.
But meanwhile, you give me a guy who's actually got a little bit of viral energy and that 10 million is going to go a long way.
And it's the same shit.
What I could definitely say about the music business, which, you know, I saw them having a bunch of combos about me recently.
I see Ray Daniels and a few other people.
They were like, yo, can act?
Or they were like, is act bigger than so-and-so rapper or could act kill or whatever a career?
And I was like, it's kind of like interesting, like, arc that I've kind of like, I guess developed.
for myself. I've not only spoken into existence, but I would say every single label,
they have looked at me as he could be a stimulus package on a media level for whoever.
And I've always thought, it's not just me. Like they make it sound like I'm just snapping my fingers.
And I'm like, no, I know the things that you guys should know as a marketing department.
Time in. I know content.
And if the artist just doesn't have a fucking personality,
a lot of times I can't even do anything with it.
The people who they've seen me with, they get it.
Like, you think if 6'9 was just a brick wall,
boring as whatever,
I could keep his name somewhat, you know, afloat
during the moments that people are trying to get rid of him?
No, so like, I look at a lot of times
where they give me too much credit.
Like even, okay, like, let's say even a little baby.
When little baby was on the phone with me, basically just,
same with me, admitting that, hey, listen,
you are one of the reasons that our record sales is slowing up.
And I was just like, I don't even think I really have that power.
What I think I do, do have is that I have the ability and this wherewithal of knowing these things that go into marketing that drives the narrative that the record sales and popularity or the ability for people to have an open mind to your record.
and it going up, it depends on these little factors.
And these factors, I could, that I might have a little bit of a play with.
But I kind of watch these guys, especially these labels, all these labels scared to me.
Like, they're scared of you.
Deathly.
And what I mean scared of me is that if I, if for whatever reason, like, I know labels who tell their artists,
there's artists I know don't like me and they tell their artists,
do not mention this guy at all.
Because when you do, and he gets started,
it's going to undo all the money that we're putting behind you.
And I've realized, which, you know, I think, you know,
even now when I pop it to rappers,
that is the source of the power, right?
When, you know, when Meek got on the phone and told me that
my tweet stopped a million dollar budget,
you can't tell me that.
Right.
that's not a diss to me.
You're amplifying me when you tell me that.
So when you tell me that, I'm like, okay.
So when I'm playing a different game now,
when I'm like going back and forth.
I think it's retarded when a rapper goes back and forth to me.
But, you know, I love it nonetheless.
I'm excited for this little baby run.
Apparently got an album coming on.
I'm going to love it.
And so when you listen to his music at this point,
because I'm going to lie,
I've like heard a couple songs in recent memory that I was like,
He's back in it.
He's got a little bit of his flow gone again.
Like, do you feel like he's got another run in him?
No.
Okay.
No.
But that's not just like, let me say this.
Yeah.
And it's funny because I've always said most of the rappers I beef with,
you probably have to be a dumb ass to beef with me.
You don't add the gasoline to the media outlet that you claim is the one that could affect you the most.
Yeah.
You're supposed to focus on the one.
that does help you.
But I could tell these guys the game, they'll never, they'll never learn it.
I told me me, years ago, 2026, he's tweeting at me like, it's going on a style.
Like, he basically validated me as the number one voice in hip hop.
Yo, this guy, act.
I'm like, thank you for being bothered.
So with Baby, he doesn't have, like, he hasn't caught the weight.
But he's hit or missed right now.
And a lot of things are narratives.
Like, you know, when you think a rapper hasn't missed, the next song he's,
he drops, you'll almost imagine it's not gonna miss.
And I'm gonna keep it a bean.
The songs that he drops, that's good?
I just ignore that shit.
Like, I hear it.
The ones that he drops that is trash?
Oh, I heard it.
Oh, I heard that shit.
You spent all these years carving out this lane
as like the news guy in hip-hop, but like,
and, hey, me similarly with interviews and shit like that,
but it does kind of stand out at times of like,
this industry feels massively like it's in decline
in comparison to other eras,
even like we're doing this ComplexCon panel on tomorrow,
and it's like they asked, Complex Ask for my list
of my top 10 albums of the year.
And I immediately think of like four albums that I've listened to.
And I'm like, I don't think I listened to 10 albums this year.
And I don't think the average fan did.
Yeah.
Me, I know about it.
Me, I think about that in a way where,
and this is why I was saying like, you know,
people think as much as in terms of, like,
like this Drake thing, they don't realize what my business is.
My business is music.
You know, I said even when the Dirk thing came up,
I said I'm the number one promoter of music.
I am.
You know, I've single hand, like, who's the number one promoter of Iceman
other than Drake?
It's me.
Who's the, like, who was the number one promoter of,
of Cardi, I am music in terms of media, me?
So I look at it like that.
And also business-wise,
I'm set up to be like that.
This year, I could tell what's going on with the music business
because there is no budget's open.
I know.
And that's when people would be like, oh, whatever, whatever.
I'm like, when I'm saying that I want Kendrick to kick up,
I want the West Coast to be popping, is that,
brother, I know y'all, y'all know I love Drake,
but I'm not going to like Drake to the point that has hurt my bank account.
When hip hop is dead, I get less bread.
That's a fact.
Because if everybody's dropping music and it's popping,
trust me, academics is getting richer and richer.
When nobody's dropping, and here's the thing,
I've always told them, Drake doesn't pay me,
nor his label pays me for Drake.
They don't have to.
So I kind of am incentivized for everybody to be competitive.
Right.
I want there to be a rapper from every region selling $100,000.
You know why?
They're going to have $40,000 in their budget for me.
Yeah.
And that's just a business.
Even just having like relevant characters to talk about on stream to be able to have narratives that people are interested in following.
Like even 2016 in retrospect just feels like another fucking planet.
Exactly.
And I think people don't realize that.
But this year, I'm telling you, even going into this quarter, you know, usually we have our little powwow with labels and shit like that.
And you're like, yo, I'm hollying at them.
They're like, yeah, we got nothing going on.
And I'm like, what?
They're like, yeah, you know, we love you.
You know, I mean, shit.
My shit going to come in regardless.
But like it does kind of show the status of the business that, again, I've never been shy to say I work with labels, right?
I promote music.
And there is less music to promote, especially in 2026 than it was for 2025, 2024, and continuing.
And this is the lowest year.
And obviously, great what Drake did.
Great with what Jay Cole did.
But I do kind of worry.
And I'm like, when the only big.
moments are the superstar rappers that usually doesn't bode very well for the industry as a whole
there's not a lot of like b and c players you know and i've been trying i've been hoping that comes back
yeah i've been hoping that comes back trust trust me as a person who like really built my business on
interviewing all these fucking random ass rappers that are coming out that people were curious about but
weren't necessarily going to be like national superstars or whatever i mean we really got a pivot
we really had to like figure other shit out because there's just so few of those artists yeah it's
starting to be either the newcomers or the heavy hitters and there's no in between so like you know
which ironically and I guess no throwing a question back at you is that even though I believe that
well not believe I know the labels aren't spending as much I do believe a lot of people in the labels
they're looking at like well we need a platform like how no jumper was to kick start like what's
the platform that's kickstarting the people that we're going to put money behind to
to whatever.
Like they want that,
okay,
if all the
all the SoundCloud
Rappas coming up here.
Yeah.
They need that again,
except number one,
you don't need it,
right?
You don't need it.
And also,
number two,
it's like,
these artists,
you know,
it doesn't feel like
they even understand,
like,
I was even looking at some artists.
Some of these artists
are good with,
okay,
I sold out a couple shows.
I have 200,000 followers.
I was even speaking on the AZ chike.
Am I saying it right now?
Yeah.
Okay.
I was speaking on him and I was like, yo, respectfully,
people don't realize no, because somebody said,
oh, he's like one of the faces of the West.
I'm like, what the fuck?
I'm like, respectfully.
The standard is so low that he's the face of the West.
Nobody knows him.
And I'm like, yo, there's been a lot of like West Coast acts.
And it happens in the East Coast too.
There's sometimes things from New York.
They're like, yo, I'm popping in New York.
Everybody knows me.
I'm like, they don't know.
Beyond Virginia, bro.
Like, you need to calm down.
And these days, it's the least amount of rappers
wanting to be global or national superstars.
They just want to be able to tour, do a couple of clubs,
get, you know, a couple, 100,000 followers,
a couple of bitches, and they're good with that.
Nobody wants to be superstars anymore.
Yeah.
And labels ain't putting a superstar money behind them,
so everybody's just kind of like,
all right, I have this local buzz goes nowhere.
What music is supposed to be able to accomplish
has shrunken so much.
there's so many dudes who are like street or drill rappers who they don't even plan to make
money from this at all. It's just literally exist to tell you that I'm tough to make people
in my neighborhood think that I'm a hard ass that maybe I killed somebody. It's like, I don't
know. It's like the purpose that it's supposed to serve has really like shrunk. And you hear people
all the time. Like even rappers are like current rap careers who'll be like, I ain't really
trying to fuck with his rap shit. You know, I'm trying to get into stream and I'm trying to open
weed shops. I'm trying to open a burger shop, whatever. Because like even a guy who's
actively having motion as a rapper is like, this shit ain't really all that.
You know what's so funny the other day?
Shout to Boosie.
Boosey was like, yeah, yo, this guy, academics.
He said something to the effect of, you know,
because I wasn't speaking to him necessarily,
but I was saying that these days rappers,
they're now doing other things other than music to gain income
because music income is kind of down.
I said you have guys there charged for interviews.
I was really like trying to shit on Boosey and nothing like that.
But, you know, I've always realized it.
And that's my fault because I told Vlad the same thing.
I'm like, Boosie's a black man who comes from the hood.
He's very sensitive about people, quote, quote.
Like, it's the same with Meek.
Meek was going back and forth.
And the moment I said Meek might be broke,
yo, meek was doing the ultimate hit at his ego.
But I heard Boosie was like, yo,
yo, this guy academics, blah, blah.
And he mentioned he was just like,
yo, would I make it a weekend?
You're making two months?
And I was just like, yo, Boosie's behind the times, man.
Like, Boosie is like severely behind the times.
And, you know, I'd even want to like entertain him with like even trying to correct him.
But I'm like, if Boosey really thinks that, God bless his soul.
But, you know, things have changed.
Look at the things he has to do to get money.
He has to go shoot a rap video in San Diego with a gun as a felon in his back pocket
and then end up getting caught by the feds
and spend like a million dollars fighting it.
Meat milk, after I basically was shitting on him in DMs,
he was like, yo, I made a million this week.
And it was like I really wanted to break down to him.
While obviously, you know, for anybody who's watching this,
I'm not trying to like shit on the viewers and I'm like that,
but I wanted to show me that this rap money you've glorified so much
everybody has caught up to.
Okay, you got to.
million dollar check for you said for like four or five songs that's your million dollar check that
you get once a quarter okay you got you got a check once a quarter probably including an
advance from whatever distributor you um you you you did through the reality is a lot of times when
rappers talk about money and that's why they mismanage it is that they talk about the big lump sum check
that they get once a year, once every whatever.
If you want to compare to people who are day and day out, like printing, 50 a day, every day, good day, bad day, sure, go ahead.
But that's where, you know, I realize the lack of education is at it.
And I'll be looking at it.
I'm like, we need these rappers to stay dumb.
You know why?
Because if you enlighten them a little bit, they start charging them like,
I'm glad. I'm like, nah, I'm just let you keep, we keep being dumb, you know?
But, you know, in reality, like, I've encouraged everyone, if you want to make a lot of money in this game, do not be the rapper.
A rapper gets paid a select few times and they get a big check and usually they blow it all.
You want to be the guy who gets paid all the time.
You want to be the manager, okay?
The manager, like, you know, post-malones manager or old manager during London?
You know, Scooter Braun.
Scooter Braun, all respect to Bieber, got more money than Bieber.
He got Sidney, too.
Got more money than Bieber.
Here's the thing.
As a manager, you can manage a bunch of people.
Yeah.
You only need five people getting 20% of them.
That adds up to 100%.
Now is the same money?
We don't know.
But you want to be a manager.
The thing with these artists, they like to be meteorites.
They want to be lightning hot, then burn out really quick.
and we're in the twilight
of so many people's careers
where now we're looking at, you know,
again, 6-9
made a lot of money.
Shit, that kind of went.
Shout to rainbed.
He's back up now.
He's good.
But when I see people like Meek,
there's a bunch of artists,
I just won't name because, you know,
I know their personal stories.
These guys are not getting,
you know, the labels have stopped cutting advances.
Yeah.
So these guys have never downgraded their lifestyle.
Yeah.
So, you know, I kind of watch it.
And, you know, unfortunately, like, these rappers don't want to be honest
and they don't want to be, you know, it's hard for them to be really self-deprecating
and telling the truth.
Like, look at the, Blueface is now showing he makes $130,000 a week.
Blueface wasn't making $130,000 a month doing rap.
Probably not.
I mean, nobody's less enthusiastic about the future of rap than movies.
Yeah.
He got one, you got advanced.
And, like, you know, I hate, like, using him as a thing.
because I know like whack gets into it
and I'm not trying to like make him sound like a dummy
because obviously the whack is going to be like
well that's my client.
So I'm not really trying to like money the waters that way
but what Blueface is seen right now
you should know he was never getting money off rap like that.
That's why he's going so hard.
By the way, what he's doing is so amazing.
You have applauded him.
You guys still haven't really talked about yet, right?
Yeah, nah.
Yeah, they had issues a couple years ago
before he got locked up.
But I don't think we have like real issues kind of.
Like, you know, it's one of those things where I think he has his things he says about me.
I have my things I say about him.
We're probably never going to be like him and what I think him and DBG used to be.
But I don't ever think that, oh, if I came across in the same room with Blueface that we're at blows.
He's also like one of the chillest gangsters you've ever met in your life.
Like, like, Wack said it the other day, like he's never seen him raise his voice.
and I was really trying to think of it.
I don't think I have either.
I've seen him wrestling with women on the ground on the street,
and he didn't raise his voice.
Listen, you know, if Wack invited me to like,
I don't know, like whatever house they got going on or wherever.
Yeah, I'll go.
Because, like, I really think that even if being blueface,
that's why I think he's unique, though.
Like, some of these guys are so uptight.
Like, I could tell.
Well, at first I thought me and Meeks relationship was going into positive,
because we were talking on the phone a bunch.
And I don't know.
You shut it down for a while.
You guys weren't beefing for a minute, right?
We talked like, I want to say,
but like four months ago on the phone,
I was backstage at Cardi Show
and the people who kind of run in Cardi Circle
used to run with Meek.
Shout to Trave.
I'm not trying to air everything out,
but shout to Slow bucks.
They're Meek's homies, you know?
And, you know, they're like,
yo, they know Cardi loves me to San
And they were like, yo, we got to get your relationship right with Meek.
And me and Meek got on the phone.
And it was a regular conversation.
You know, it was one of those like, yo, listen, we should, you know, obviously when we talk to each other, at least then, it was like, hey, it's not that crazy.
And it was just like, yo, I feel like you don't understand me.
And I'm like, well, I also feel like you didn't understand me.
And then you kind of could see where, like, if you're into problem solving, you could be like, I could see where like maybe things kind of got off the rails and maybe we could fix it.
And I was always there with it.
And then I just saw him kind of like, you know,
I personally feel like he definitely blames some of where his career is going on me.
And I don't know if that's a unfair place to think about it.
But my thing with him is don't act like because we should still be cool.
Yeah.
Right?
Because he'll act like we're on the phone.
And it will be like, yo, you know, like we shouldn't be into it.
And I agree.
I'm like, we shouldn't be into it.
And then he kind of.
gets like this angry feeling every time when he sees the whole hip hop talking about me and it's
almost he's like what the fuck did this guy get in this position and for that i can't really you know
um um um deal with but or like you know i can't like massage his feelings but that says a lot though
if you guys like had conversations then he's still not really able to get past that that resentment
because he really does like blame you for taking money out of his pocket he he we had a conversation
like again, I want to say three, four months ago.
It was very positive.
Trav made the call.
We're backstage at Cardi's concert.
There's nothing about tough talk.
There's not easy like, your act, you should come around.
Da-da-da-da-da.
Like, you got to see, you got to like see how I live.
Like, not on the internet.
Just see how I live in real life.
You're going to notice this and third about me.
And shit, we shouldn't be like, we basically both agree.
Like, it's kind of stupid, right?
You know what I mean?
Like, yo, we're both from the East Coast.
You're from Philly.
I'm being Jersey.
But he lives in Jersey too.
We both,
you know,
we live like 20 minutes away
from each other.
I kid you not.
And like,
we had that combo.
And then,
um,
Cardi B was going to perform in Philly.
And,
you know,
I love Cardi B.
And I was like,
you know,
I couldn't make the New York show.
And I was like,
Cardi,
I think I might come to Philly.
And she said,
she said,
um,
hey,
just let you know,
um,
I think everything's gonna be okay.
Like,
I've briefed everybody on my team.
I know you want to come to come out,
I know,
I'm bringing out meek.
You know,
he's gonna come out and do that one song so good and and i remember at that moment i thought i was
like well i just had a convo with me like it's kind of positive like it should be cool but something
told me and i'm learning i'm starting to learn about these rap guys i was like you know what it's meek city
he's getting brought out by cardi to do that one song i know he's gonna find like he's gonna go
hit up all these niggas in the hood he's coming through with like 30 40 people yeah and i said you know
what, I know my conversation with him was positive and it was like, no, yo, we should, you know,
see each other in person and just like hang out and talk. And I was just like, this is probably
not the event to try to have the first mean. And I tell Carter, that's a Cardi, listen, I don't
even want to put you through that because I don't want your security to have to move. Like,
they have enough to do with dealing with you. You're the star, your show. I'm glad you're,
you're considerate of me.
I,
you know,
I appreciate you so much.
And I say,
you know what,
I'll just pick another show.
I'm not going to come to that one.
Because I don't want her security
to have to like,
you know,
possibly like make sure things are okay.
And I just thought that was a good decision.
Only for two months later,
Meek is like,
y'all want to kill this guy.
Like,
I'm like,
okay,
so what do you think that would have been?
Yeah.
And yeah,
you know,
it's funny.
Like,
I've just never,
I've never seen meek a day in my life.
I've never seen him.
Like,
in physical person,
I've never seen him.
Yeah.
And it's kind of odd because, I don't know, he's a, he said things about me that you would imagine
that if you're saying that, you're down to go to jail or you're down to go to hell.
Right.
Even him just suggesting he was going to go to your house.
It's just like, you really want to take this beef to that level?
Like you want to put this into that arena?
Yeah.
And, you know, even with that, respectfully, speak,
And, you know, because, and that's what I kept saying about, I kept calling the police.
Meek, you know about hip-hop police.
My address is on Google.
So you have the police that shows up to my house the next day or whatever, a few days after, maybe some prank calls.
Because they're getting this heightened activity that in a, in a neighborhood with all million-dollar mansions,
that they're supposed to be like a rap shootout.
Like, come on, bro.
Here's a funny part about it.
I know exactly where Meek lives.
I know where his mom will live, everybody.
I don't go online and do that because that would be dumb.
Yeah.
Number one, I wouldn't do everything.
I would never heard of fly.
But like, imagine me saying something of that sort.
And it was funny because he said that.
This is about a third time saying it.
Oh, da-da-da-da.
And when he says it, you know, like,
what do you expect my response to be?
You know, he was like, yo, he mess with me.
He said, he wants to see him inside my house.
So I showed him inside my house.
It was my gun closet.
Like, what else do you need to see?
What he ends up doing afterwards, you know, after causing all this hysteria,
is like, he acts like nothing happens.
And, you know, I've just been down his role with him so much.
I'm like, dude, you don't want to go to jail, right?
Nobody wants to get into a situation.
And I, at this point, I'm just like, I'm just turning.
turned off by the idea that he thinks he could pick on me.
And that's why I dare him, but he won't.
Right.
And the funny thing is everything he's ever said to me is documented.
You know, however he would like to play it, I'm fully prepared for it.
Listen, I've built my entire life for a nigga like Migno.
Exactly for Mekno.
Preparing for somebody down to crash out.
Yeah, I wish you would crash out.
my entire life.
This is the reason why I wouldn't have kids in my house.
Usually I even tell other people, I'm like,
you listen, it's war in the streets, man.
Listen, I don't want nobody here that don't know what comes with this shit.
Because, I mean, that was always a criticism of you early on.
It was like, oh, this guy's in his basement, and he never goes outside.
Never has to be around anybody.
And people used to try to big up me by saying, you're outside.
You're at the warehouse parties.
You're at the clubs or whatever.
And, like, AC would never do that.
And I remember I was thinking my head is like, why would he want to?
Who gives a fuck?
And as soon as you started to do that, you started to pop out more.
It's like you just did it the right way and you moved around with security or moved
low key when it was applicable.
And, you know, I just think you've always kind of handled it the right way.
And you always knew that you needed to be able to like you, like you streaming as
if somebody's going to beat your ass when you walk outside because you talk bad about a rapper
is just, it's not sustainable.
You know, it's like that's going to damage your content too much if you have to be
thinking about that kind of thing.
Yeah, but, you know, I will say this.
I try to make sure that everything I'm saying,
and especially it makes it easier when someone has threatened me,
it's never lost on me that, you know,
the victimhood thing won't happen.
That's like, you know, this idea of meek, it's laughable.
And putting out empty threats, you know,
That's another thing.
Like, bro, you're like alerting the police.
Like, dog, you know, I got all your addresses.
I could just literally drop them.
But it's like, bro, why even do that?
Number one, I don't think Meek is down to do half a day in jail for me.
If I've seen Meek Mill in this building, I wouldn't do anything.
It's not like we've seen him crash out on anybody else in a recent memory.
And he's got a lot of like people that he probably sees from time to time who he's got more legitimate issues with than you.
That are more street dudes that would actually not tell.
Six nine was in his face screaming at him.
All he did was go in his car.
Yeah.
So, you know, I mean, when it comes to that, you know, like, it's, and that's why, like, you know, I respect me less.
Like, at least with the, well, I don't really respect Baby because, like, he talked to me and he basically tried to cop it.
And then he sent his man to do whatever.
At least with Baby, baby, baby's not like, yo, drop axe low that I could pull up on him.
I'm pretty sure even now if he got an issue with me, he's like, yo, all right, I'm going to see that nigger.
Well, to be fair, little baby is somebody who operates as if he's worried about law enforcement interfering with shit that he's had going on in the streets in the past.
Whereas with Meek Mill, I feel like a lot of that's probably like in the more distant past.
Okay.
And I think that's why Meek is, he's in a sad position, right?
Because hip-hop kind of respects when it seems real.
but it seems more real with little baby being quiet
Meek Mill being all out about it makes it look like a joke
That's why he doesn't realize he's a clown
Yeah
Right like put it like this
If Meek never said nothing
And I don't listen as much as
I do what I want in life
There's nowhere I can't go
That's why I pop it to Meek
I'm like nigga you don't have no money I don't have
I could go anywhere
I had a whole police precinct to bring me there
If I need to go there if I could go there if I want
So it would be more like if meek was just like quiet and anything like I don't know say a random fan said something and he'd be like yo that's me
Like he just comes out and be like yeah I told you nigga but like he's so loud with it and I'm like I know he's scared of jail so much
So when moments like that happen I start looking out for other people I'm like little baby's actually quiet right now
he's somebody who could try to do something
and we all blame Meek.
Meek's an idiot.
He's not doing nothing.
He's literally telling people like, you know what I mean?
Yo, I'm going to do something.
Like put it like this.
He said he had 120 days before something bad happens.
Yeah.
I'm all looking forward to that.
What do you think you get?
Let me ask you a question.
Do you think that detectives,
federal bureau of investigators,
you don't think FBI
everybody's looking at that like
please give us the honey pot of
motherfuck you know please give it to us
you don't think they are
yeah so
so when he said that I was like
you know this is the safest 120 days I got
because he's now
alerted law enforcement
to literally
watch out for anything that's going to
possible happen yeah
so you know I kind of look at that
I think he's just a clown man
like he just showed us he's cornered
I mean, he's nominating himself for Unc status with the way he was handling all that shit.
He's just like showing a lack of understanding of the internet that makes him look like the way that we all felt watching, you know, our parents try to use the internet for the first time in the late 90s or whatever.
Like, you know, it's like he's giving off that energy.
And I don't think there's like any part of him that has enough humility that we'll ever really be willing to accept that he's aged into a certain position where he just looks goofy doing that kind of shit.
I understand though.
Yeah.
I think Meek, when he goes to sleep, he thinks that I took millions out of his pockets.
And I may have.
And I understand that.
That's hate.
Because I would hate you to.
Yeah.
Like, he literally, when he said that even to me on the phone, it was his ultimate win.
My label didn't spend a million because of you.
The best is when you're beefing with somebody and their career goes in a direction that realistically, it was probably going to go anyway.
And then you can kind of claim more of an impact than what you actually.
realistically that we're able to accomplish.
Like the most obvious example is, in my opinion,
and a lot of other people's opinions I've seen over the years,
Jarl Rule's career was probably going to enter into a state of decline
regardless of 50 Cent involving himself in it.
He had just gone too pop.
And even if 50 wasn't beefing with Jarl rule,
he just would have been a super gangster.
And Jail Ruh would have looked like kind of a pussy in comparison.
No shots at the baby.
I think even if the baby didn't say some homophobic stuff on stage of rolling loud,
that realistically his career was probably going to experience a decline at some point
because he was rapping the same fucking flow for years at a time.
I do feel like Meek Mill, you take Drake out of it, you take Ack out of it.
A lot of this was going to happen anyway.
This is why when you're going to get into a problem, especially in hip hop,
you have to think beyond just what is the here and now.
This idea of who's going to be like where this person is, I've always said that.
Like, even thing about Drake and Kendrick, you realize that the term Jha Rule would be out of here if Drake was in a position of no return.
You got Drakeed.
Yeah.
No, no, no.
Yo, no, no.
Yo, not like us.
Or it would be, it would be, you know, some play on that battle to say, this is what happens.
When you're at your peak and you get, can stop, like you get blitz and it's over.
But you can't say that because Drake is back at it.
And that's what I've always realized.
You know, and I think this is where, you know,
when artists are going back and forth with me.
And I even said about baby, I'm like,
oh, I'm planning to be around for 10.
You think he's even if he's hot this year.
Even if he's hot this year,
the fifth year when he's not hot, that's my win.
You know what the vibe is of that whole Not Like Us era?
It's like when you think about COVID,
when you think about like the racial reckoning,
you know, what happened to George Floyd was horrible.
But a lot of people really were acting kind of cringe
with posting the black squares
and white people getting down on their knees
and begging black people for forgiveness and shit like that.
And I feel like not like us has a lot of that energy now
because it just feels like this weird delusion
that a lot of people got caught up in
where they felt like the world was changing in this way.
It was though.
It just didn't pan out.
Kendrick jog the ball.
Really?
And I do give him a little bit of credit.
Like, first of all, well, Drake is resilient, so he was going to keep rapping.
But Jowruel never really stopped either.
Kendrick had to keep a proverbial foot on the neck and change hip-hop.
Make it so uncool that Drake was going to be permanently knocked down a level that he would probably never see that number one.
one spot again.
You do realize that if
Kendrick, well, you know,
here's the thing.
I think Drake is that good that he wouldn't allow it.
But if Kendrick had
really gone,
the impact, you see,
we'd look at it like COVID, like, yeah,
it was a big deal then, but like, come to
find out, it's like a nothing. And then we elect Donald Trump
a couple years later. Really
makes it clear like, hey, whatever was going on
in the country at that time, we're on some different shit
now. But, okay, if you're Kendri
manager or whatever. He drops GNX. I'm assuming you think that that was like a pretty good
project at that time. Like what does he have to do to like keep his foot on their next further?
Okay. And and I hate to have to strategize for for the other guys.
Now he can't do these things. Anything you say you can't do. Or it'll make a really, really good
TikTok. He wouldn't do it anyway. Yeah. After not like us, he should have dropped.
Okay, so GNX, he should have dropped something before Drake even dropped Iceman.
Okay?
Because here's the thing.
The tide was changing where people were starting to say,
are you just piggybacking off Drake?
But he's lit.
All he needs to do,
and that's what I'm saying.
The power y'all have just let Drake realize
is that he curates hip-hop.
If he wants to make chicks rapping about slutty shit popping,
that's the wave.
If he wants to rap on too hard for the,
radio, that's the, he knows that the power he has could curate hip hop.
Kendrick had that same power.
He didn't use it.
Everyone's rooting for him to keep kicking Drake's back in, but show us different.
Lean into every type of stereotype.
Just keep doing that.
And all he did was just thinking that, you know what, I've did my run, which, by the way,
this is a lot of work too.
He did his run.
He did his tour.
It's time to chill.
Here's the problem.
Drake goes on a vacation.
A lot of these artists, they go chill for six months.
Drake goes on a vacation for like five days, and he's back at work.
He was supposed to go on vacation after the It's a Blur tour.
That was right before the beef for Kendrick.
The beef starts, he's back at work, working, responding with beef records.
The beef kind of ends.
He's now doing 100 gigs.
he's keep putting out stuff.
He hasn't really taken a break
since then
been on nonstop work.
If Kendrick really cared,
and that's what like,
it's hard to like figure out the motivation with him
because like if he really cared to like,
yo, I just took the lead.
You don't be like,
all right, bench the starters,
put in the guy,
put in Bronny James.
That's easy check.
Yeah, that's just,
yo, put in Bronny James.
You know, Bench of Starters.
And that's what I realized, I'm like, yo, oh, Kendrick is just not, you know, it would have been probably a better situation if Kendrick is seen as taking a culture from what people perceive Drake to be.
Oh, shit.
Y, I remember that cultural shift where it was about X, Y, and Z what Drake was doing.
And then Kendrick took it and all he started doing was doing songs with people that did A, B, and C.
No, none of that.
So, you know, I mean, you know, I do thank Kendrick for being lazy.
It's like who I letter.
I feel like he is like dedicated to his own identity to the point where it was working.
Yes, he did used to work here.
But he posted up a fucking hilarious tweet the other day that I'm going to try to find right now.
But, yeah, I don't know.
I mean, I do feel like there's an extent to which he's so, you like this tweet?
You know, I did you interview with DJ Head.
I used to be real cool DJ Head.
He used to call me and like hype me up, tell me that I was like a good thing for hip hop a shit.
And then when this Kendrick shit popped off, all of a sudden I realized I got unfollowed.
I don't know.
But, uh, okay, I, this sound, tempo and energy is not going anywhere anytime soon.
Oh, man.
If you're not a fan of our culture, it's going to be a long four years for you.
He called that, yo, we're still in the middle of this.
This is supposed to go through 2028.
West Coast.
Yo, yo, I like to compare and contrast.
right
these guys
they're like
Kendrick's
like mouthpiece
during the whole thing
and this and third
Kendrick gives them nothing
Mm-hmm
Kendrick doesn't even want them
to even be like
oh that's how we feel
nothing
Mm-hmm
You know
I kind of look at it
and you know
I respect for Drake
for even
you know
just even saying like
you're not gonna lie man
you were one of the niggas
that when
everybody's kicking my back in
you still
is solid, man. Like, you're, you're, you're, you're a real dude. And not only are you a real dude,
I want to make sure you understand that, right? These guys, I think they like stand Kendrick
for like years and now they're like non-existent and Kendrick pays them dirt. Yeah.
Listen, AG, Chi-K, you're not getting the feature. No feature. Do you believe that he had the feature
and that
he definitely had the feature.
Yo, I'm not going to lie.
I f***ing with Kendrick for that, though.
Man.
No, I fucking for that.
Like, honestly.
I just...
Bro, no, I fucking Kendrick for that.
Like, yo, yo, we got at least start
giving a little bit of credit to that
where it's like,
if these are going to defraud you no matter what,
like, bro,
he's not going to give him anything.
He's not even going to give him a little bit.
You don't even whip the dick out for him.
Right.
Just let them just like, let him slobber on the d'iress.
Okay.
Word up.
T. Rell said that he heard the diss and that Kendrick was talking crazy about everybody
who ever came at him.
And I said this before, but me and Drake had a conversation where he, I don't think he heard
the record, but he had heard the same thing, that Kendrick had a crazy disc on the A.Z.
Chig record.
That's no regular-ass record.
That's a record that could turn AZ Chike's album from not even making Billboard.
They ran a whole campaign trying to act like he sold 9.
It turns out that's not true to like a massive classic that would have made Aizchik's career.
We would never stop hearing about it to have that record and to not give it to him.
And there was a quote from Azi Chike actually on Buley Kev where he said that he was just crossing his fingers and just hoping that Kendrick would let one of the songs be on the album.
The fact that he can't do that for his little bro, like what are we talking about?
Well, I've always said Kendrick's for self, but I do respect him for not knowing.
The pusha-se-iam.
He says, stop ball hogging that motion.
Turn your members up.
Kendrick.
No, no.
Turn your members up.
No, no, I respect Kendrick for that.
I'm going to tell you why.
You're grimy.
Kendrick's playing.
No, he's playing for itself.
Yeah.
And I'm going to be honest with you.
Listen, and I'm saying this with the owl on the chest.
You feel what I'm?
One thing I do got to give Kendrick credit for,
his timing is impeccable.
And he's a sniper.
here's the thing
I know it would be big for A. Z. Chike.
I'm saying the same right.
Azy Chike.
Okay.
It would be big for him.
But I think Kendrick pulled it at the last second,
realizing it was going to probably deter
or like bring down what he...
This was going to cement
that Kendrick has this infatuation with Drake.
Yes, did Drake this back or whatever?
But Drake just...
dropped like a pretty multi-content, multi, like whatever album or albums.
And I think Kendrick loses a step if he gets like pigeonholed as,
yo, you're, you only just pop out for the Drake this is.
And I think, I think that will eventually come out.
But it's going to come out in a different way, not come out.
And I'm not saying like T.Rill like ruined it.
But I think he just realized this is not when you put this out.
You put this out with a whole host of body of work where people could not say that everything you're doing is being compared to this guy or being at this guy.
So I think it's a smart move for him.
Now, of course, for A.C. Chike, at some point, y'all West Coast niggas got to realize, Kendrick, don't give a fuck about you.
And when I mean by it doesn't give a fuck about you, okay, cool.
you don't give this guy this verse that's like super controversial,
but you give him a verse.
Like, if you ask me,
and I haven't even talked to Drake about it.
You know,
I think Drake probably wanted a little bit different version.
Drix is so prideful in any feature he does.
The feature on the game album where he just says two words,
I'm telling you,
I think he wanted a little bit more if he was going to do that.
But I think kind of loyalty and he knows game to him,
he didn't stop it and he promoted the record.
You get what I'm saying?
But I really think if Drake was going to be all the way like,
yo, let's go.
He would have, it would have been crazier.
But that's Drake saying to himself,
you know what?
I could have my standards,
but I got to respect loyalty.
The game is a loyal motherfucker like there's so many people kicking his back in.
I'm an asshole for not even showing him some love
when he's been showing me love.
I got to show him love.
Yeah.
Even if, you know, trust,
I feel like Drake, I'm telling you,
when Drake is popping out,
he want to pop out, like, going crazy.
I don't think Drake would let an out-of-town
or diss a Toronto artist on his project.
If the table's returned, you know?
What do you mean?
Like, let's say that there was some rapper that he f***ed with
who had an issue with a rapper from Toronto
that he had issues with.
I feel like Drake,
I'm not saying he wouldn't do it,
but I feel like he would exercise extreme caution
in doing that because the last thing you ever want to do
is make it look like your personal
allegiances are more important than the city.
Okay, but you can't compare that to game.
Because Drake is the A side.
Game is not the A side.
Game needs something to sell the album.
So if the only thing selling the album is this guy,
it is what it is.
You got to respect Game making that decision
because Game sacrificed a huge amount of attention
that his project would have probably done 100K
or 50, 60, I don't know,
what's even possible these days,
but like it would have done a totally different spectrum of streams
if Drake had really had that verse on there.
Yeah, I have some other thoughts about that.
But, you know, listen, I think that proves to me
Drake's just a real nigga.
Because the game's narrative,
I don't think that's where Drake was at with it.
But it's one of the times where it's like,
you know a friend,
and this is how you realize that somebody uses you,
whenever you ask them,
they ask you for a million favors,
you say yes.
They hold you down,
they defend you.
You ask them for one thing.
And it's like you,
you know.
And I personally think Drake did the,
yo,
Game,
that's my nigga.
I think Game was pushing
this album out quickly.
I think Drake would give him a fire
like just some other shit.
I'm gonna be honest with you.
Like,
I know people wanted to make this about
like this Kendrick shit.
Bro, Drake is not thinking about
Kendrick, my nigga.
Like I'm gonna be very honest.
Drake is back in the mode where he was at after Meek
when he, you know, he's talking about fake friends
and like he likes talking about that.
That's like this a subject.
That's not at like, oh, just Kendrick.
It's just like, oh, you niggies that switched up.
Fuck all the fake guys.
It's just me and my people.
Like, he's always been on that.
I mean, one thing Drake says to me at one point
is that he doesn't think that he and Kendrick
will ever really make distrax about each other again
because everything kind of got left on the taste.
One thing he actually said is like after he called after somebody calls you a profile in a song
What do you say next? You call me a terrorist like where where do you go from there? Well, I disagree with
Jericho. Mm hmm if I'm if I'm Kendrick the block will be get will get will get
Spont it's possible, but I feel like it could be embarrassing for him no
It'll the block if I'm if I think Kendrick is as ruthless as I think he is
at some point not immediately
you drop one of those
you drop one of those lines or bars
or like verses that basically said
yo this is like a warning to the game
don't be like this nigger who I shit it on
and you'll just leave that there to see if
he says anything
knowing that the whole culture is looking like
what are you going to say
so if Kendrick will say something about it
I think Drake at this point is just like
bro you you're
You've been through it.
Like, you know, you put your best foot forward and it is what it is.
And, bro, like, this time around, let's not give another nigga a Super Bowl appearance, right?
Like, let's not give him, like, a grand national tour.
Let him drop a project and go do it on his own.
When he does that and he's the most lit person, maybe you could get at him.
I think that's what he's learned.
Two biggest moments in Kendrick's career for artists that, like, nobody would,
prior to the Drake thing,
I really have described as like a battle
heavy rapper
with a control verse
and the Drake battle.
And I have to imagine
that there's part of him
that doesn't really like the fact
that the two hottest moments
in his career
kind of fly directly in opposition
to what he probably
would like to be the most
emphasized things in his career,
which is the Pulitzer Prize
winning conscious rap albums
that pushed hip hop forward
or whatever fucking narrative
that try to sell us.
and that was the biggest thing
that when I heard Tiro's saying
that he was gonna have this this,
I'm like,
it just feels out of character
and weird for his next time popping up,
talking about some hip-hop shit
to have it be going right back
to the same beef
that was his last big moment.
I think Kendrick's dropping the next six months.
Yeah, I can see it.
I mean, he got to drop sooner later.
I think on some surprise shit
and I think the substance of that album
is going to tell us what he's going to try to do for the next 18 months.
And I think if I'm just, because I really do respect him as a strategist.
I really think that he's going to try to be present.
And he's going to pretty much give a good effort to kind of wrangle the reins back from Drake.
And if that doesn't work, I think he'll pivot again.
but it's he knows that there's the pendulum is swung back in the other direction
mostly because you're lazy my nigga yeah no it's hard to imagine like did you kind of have
a little bit of that thought when iceman was coming out and shit that like maybe kendrick drops
the next day we'd already seen that technique from him but it did stand out that like he could he could
step all over this rollout in a big way okay let me tell you this and i remember
I remember, I told Drake this several times.
And I remember when I got a chain, he said this to me too, because you remember when I said.
When I met the president of the United States, son, I almost sound like I was told my Donald Trump,
Donald Trump Jr. Had no idea what was going on, but that was around 20, 24, right before the election and shit.
Or, no, I think he was elected. I can remember. Anyway, he was elected, right?
So I'm having a conversation with him.
And he was like, oh, this Kendrick Lamar guy.
This was his wife at the time.
Her name was Kimberly.
I forgot her name.
She was like, oh, that Kendrick Lamar guy, like he sampled me and used my, because she used to be on Fox News.
He used my thing at one of the, like these, like Coachella or something like that.
They didn't know too much about hip-hop.
And I'm writing in this SUV.
It's kind of surreal because, like, Donald Trump Jr., he's like a G.
Like, he doesn't want Secret Service.
driving around like so fur he's like yo I got like my truck he's like yo this my favorite
caddy like I'm driving huh no security well maybe they were flanking but but he was just like no
it's just us here like he was super chill and we eventually went to this house and we did a stream
or whatever but like you know I'm kind of like you know they're kind of like they're like they're
like um they're kind of getting to know me a bit and they were like yo I'm glad we've seen some of your
stuff and they weren't even saying like oh we're glad that oh you are like maga they were like
yo bro we're just glad you're open-minded which which the whole hip-op media always got like confused
thinking that like I was like no it's just like I'm just not the guy who's programmed to just
be Democrat so like I'm I was learning about like I've always with Trump anyway anyway cool so
I was just chilling and I'm explaining the beef to them and they were like oh okay no we've
heard so they've heard about Kendrick they know about Drake
And they're like, okay, what's your take on the thing?
And I was like, well, you know, Drake's my favorite, this and third and whatever.
And I'm like, well, you know, kind of both like mentioned me in the beef or whatever.
And he said something important to me.
And I eventually told Drake and Drake, you know, Drake thought it was kind of like, you know,
this is the president of the United States son.
He says to me, he says, act, let me tell you this.
I'm going to give you the best advice.
So no matter what happens, you need to be, you'll be in the best position if you're,
was called Kingmaker.
And he says,
whatever side
that you are going to be
either choosing
or you're going to be fucking with,
make sure that side ends up on top.
You'll be golden.
And it always lasted with me
in the sense of he was saying,
listen,
do your thing,
just don't end up with a loser.
Trump very much embodies that strategy.
He loves a winner.
Yeah, and his thing was,
listen, like for example,
DJ Head, right?
Let's say you're one of those people
that believe Kendrick's won the battle.
You don't matter, DJ Head.
You know why?
Even in victory, you gain nothing.
He was talking about in Kingmaker.
He's like, listen,
if you're going for Kendrick
or you're going for Drake,
whatever one you go for,
if you think you're the guy,
make sure when it's all said and done,
they're on top of this shit.
Okay, but when you're putting your opinions out there in the world on stream,
I frequently find myself in the position where my genuine opinion radically goes against
the mainstream consensus, and then I piss off a big chunk of my fans by being so open
about the fact that I completely disagree with them.
Do you feel like you run into that a lot?
I feel like even when you were initially back in Drake, you probably got a lot of that.
Let me say this.
What people didn't realize is that.
this we talked about Jaru thing.
I never thought that
whether my reactions
or whatever in terms of like the battle
was going to be the thing.
My thing was
and I always took
what the son of the president
said.
And I wore that too.
Whoever I
f***ed out of this will never lose.
Meaning
they will never be Jaru.
And if Drake ended up being
Jaru, I looked at that as the end of me.
Because if I couldn't stop that from happening, you have no say.
And what I took from that, it's not about determining the battle.
It was that whoever I'm going to pick is going to be the president of this hip hop shit,
no matter what.
And when I look up and I get the chain and the engraving says the war is over, I think the job was done.
Wow, I didn't know that.
That's intense.
To me, the job was done.
Listen, it's impossible to me.
Like, for me, because you've got to realize,
I know people want to act, man, f*** the battle.
The idea that the battle would dictate what would happen in hip-hop.
That's what I was vehemently again.
You just immediately made me think about
what if Job Rule had had a strong media figure in his corner.
But the truth is he did.
The source was behind him like 100.
And it did nothing.
But that was also a time period in which there could only be one cool kid.
They could only be one cool side.
It wasn't like enough space for Jarl rule to have somebody really like effectively
painting positive narratives about him, I don't think.
I genuinely looked at like the Iceman whole thing and everybody like love and drink again.
I looked at it.
I told him.
We talked about it.
It's like a championship.
It's a championship for me too.
You know why?
it proved everything I said that I believed I wasn't as media.
I literally, you could throw all of them guys.
Everybody in media on the other side,
if I am solemnly down with X, whoever this person is,
we're going to make it.
Two years from now, okay, you might get a couple jokes off,
but two years from now when the dust clears,
this person's still going to be here.
You know?
And I've always kind of like looked at that
and I was like,
I finally understood what the president's sunset,
but that's why I thought this was total victory.
You know?
With all due respect,
I think Drake looks on harm and on damage two years later.
And of everybody who was trying to kick his back in,
I think, you know,
you know.
It feels like hip-hop was in a state of psychosis.
that was induced by the fact that Drake had been able to kind of go about his way for like 18 years or whatever
and not really face that much in terms of criticism.
Obviously you can put the push of tea battle.
Obviously there's plenty of people in media and stuff that's had issue with him and stuff.
But I think it was just like a long simmering current of resentment that had been held back for all these years
because they didn't really have anything that good to go on.
and people love a good dish song
and just all the pieces kind of came down perfectly.
You know, people love to build somebody up
and then tear them down,
but that doesn't necessarily mean
that they want to keep them down
once they knock them down.
Yeah, no, for sure.
I'll even say, you know,
when I got to change,
even the conversation I had was drink, right?
He said he was just like,
you know, I know you're in media,
but like,
and people are going to say maybe X, Y, and Z.
But the end of the day, like,
throw you're a part of team there
and I'm not gonna lie as I said
going back to that last point
yeah no you know
and it wasn't just like on some oh for Drake
I'm like I felt like my
platform would be
diminished that that's I really
thought my
if I back a rapper in a battle
and that rapper get
like he is
irrelevant after that I feel like
damn you lost as well
you owe him
lifetime support.
We're really like 6-9, and you had that experience.
He lost in the public eye for a long time there.
But his thing, like even people would be like,
why do you bring him on now?
I'm like, listen, I fought the battle with 6-9.
And I've always thought if y'all could get rid of 6-9,
that invalidates how much power I have.
My power is being shown through these artists I support.
When I support somebody,
I don't give a fuck if every other media personality supports.
the opposite.
So when 6-9, like, you know, is still a thing in 2026, I'm like, all right, I know he's an asshole.
But is there a path to rehabilitation in hip-hop for 6-9?
Because as much as he's made all these inroads with all these streamers, it's still hard to see a real rapper really fully endorsing him.
And he doesn't really seem like he's courting that either.
No, because hip-hop's still in denial.
Hip-hop is still in denial about people like 6-9.
and they've now only started to realize that they won't get judged.
So the gunners of the world, everybody will do a record with him.
Anybody else who's accused of telling you, you know, Boston Ridge was accused of telling.
Oh, yeah.
Now people, when they mention him, that's not the first thing.
Six-nine wore it wrong
He wore the title wrong
And you know
Again
With that
Hip hop
Try to make one example
Yeah
And they try to make one example
Thinking that it wasn't going to happen again
And
The only thing I wish he had did
It's kind of like
When they were trying to get rid of me
That I did it
And I was just like
Listen
I know
I'll be the bad guy
You see he was too resilient
So that's why they were
He was like
Yeah, rat it and what.
But if he was saying, hey, listen, if he had approached it on some,
I'm not the first and I won't be the last, and you would do it too, they would have
forgiven.
But the lack of humility, Gunner hasn't talked.
Yeah.
He's doing the Kendrick thing, the Cardi thing.
Like, everybody doing that thing of just being mysterious artists who act like they're not
on social media, even though they're fucking sitting on it all day.
It's just like, it's a pose.
that's all the actors and shit do too
you watch interviews with actors
and they'll they'll like
sort of kind of like acknowledge a meme
that was really popular
but they'll never be like
oh my God my friends send me memes of me all the time
blah blah blah they don't want it to be acknowledged
that they're that tapped in with the
with the fan base has to say
yeah it hurts them
definitely all right yo
we got like 15 20 minutes left
I'm just going to throw it out there
asking out as a profile
God damn
Chill out, Reggie.
No, no, but you, I'm sure I can understand why I really resonate with Kaysenad on this
because I, too, have put on a lot of people, tried to change a lot of people's lives,
and got absolutely shit on for having the gall to try to help people out.
My automatic assumption is that Kaysenat is the good guy in this, but I don't know.
Complete different situations.
Kaysenat's realizing, you know, what Kanye said years ago,
no one man should have all that power.
I'm learning more and more about that situation.
Apparently, Kai, in recent times, cut the water off for these guys.
His girlfriend just came back in.
He stopped paying for tens of thousands of their bills.
So when he's saying I spent $3 million, that is $3 million.
That number is not going to be increased any.
Yeah, but think about this.
He's only getting exposed.
after he's said he's not spending it again.
And I think what he's realizing is that
there's always this like thought.
You know why Kaisen had started Clover Boys?
He started that because people said that he became such a big streamer.
He was in this group called A&P.
And they were like, well, you're bigger than the program.
You're the guy. You should own A&P.
Well, that's not how it works.
you don't sign to somebody.
Like LeBron doesn't sign to the Lakers
and then be like,
oh, you're a LeBroner.
He doesn't sign to the Cleveland California.
But AMP is owned by all those dudes, right?
No.
Oh, there is an ownership to that.
I didn't know that.
Oh, no.
So what happens is for him to get his ownership
in what he would want to do,
he creates another group.
Some people want him to leave AMP.
Supposedly there's, you know,
even people offer their money.
He doesn't.
He says, you know what?
I'm a creative group.
My influence is so big I could give guys careers.
I didn't know this, but he owns Clover.
He invests money into it.
And over time, and from when I hear in the last couple of months,
he quietly started turning off the faucet.
He stops paying for everything that they were getting paid.
They were getting coddle with.
is why you didn't see them in Atlanta anymore
they're moving around because he's not paying for the house
he's not paying for this he's not paying for that
as soon as he stops pain
somebody comes out and says
he's the problem he's been neglecting us
what he's learning is that
this idea that you can have it all
that's not true
you're a successful Kai
you can also have a successful award
without exposing yourself.
He's learning
you've got to isolate yourself,
get out of Dodge,
and all these people who
it looked good
because it was like a family-like structure.
It's bad.
So, yeah, you know, he's going through that right now.
He'll never sign nobody else.
He realizes now is the Kai Sinatra.
Do I believe Reggie
when it comes to accusation
of him being a PDF?
No.
It feels like,
like what Reggie's trying to say is that Kai allowed very young dudes to hook up with girls
and drink and party and shit around.
I agree that he's trying to say that.
Except I don't think Kai Sinat is a place where you put that initial blame.
First of all, Reggie's 21.
The only person who's on a rage is for Kai.
and this idea of trying to spread the blame on on on on on on on on on on on on on on on on on he
wasn't there you guys indulged in some of the fruits of kaisenat's um benefit but even
when you say oh he did he did x y and z where's the proof there is none that's that that
becomes the hard thing you know and i don't know if you're you're not there yet i'm there
With all due respect, there's a lot of people who mess with me.
I ain't put nobody on.
I'm good.
You had a moment.
No, no, no, I had a moment.
You figured it out a lot faster than most people.
A lot of people get the moment where they're like, to continue this, we think about the record label style.
Okay, this is me.
Then I signed a bunch of people that signed a bunch of people.
And then you get to realize it's so much headache.
Yeah.
I mean, you've done it with even employees.
Mm-hmm.
You get me?
It's really difficult, right?
Like, shit, I was like, okay, I want to do the academy and I want to.
And then somebody pops up with some little boom stuff.
And, you know, it all turns into like you're this enabler and like you're responsible for everybody.
And at some point, and I hope Kai gets to that, you have to choose yourself.
You don't have to feel guilty for anyone who has came around you or whatever.
You're successful.
You're Kai.
But also, you don't have to have this trail of, you know, sometimes we think in the business world,
okay, what is no jumper if Adam doesn't create the next Adam?
Because I wanted that.
I wanted the next act.
And I was just kind of like looking at the landscape and I'm like,
it's just kind of looking, you know,
and that's what Kai is going through.
Put $3 million into this.
Yeah.
And at the end of the day,
when I listen to Reggie,
I'm not going to say he's a liar,
but the people who Reggie are talking about
that took advantage of him
or were making him uncomfortable
is not Kai Sinat,
but who gets the blame.
And that's why, like, for me now,
you know,
being a great creator,
you don't be selfish.
eventually you got to be. You know why? Because your name gets called up in things that you didn't do.
And now his name is being called up. Right. At the exact moment that he's trying to separate and do this
moment of his life. This elevated thing with the brand, the Vivette thing and everything. And now he's
getting the exact kind of press that if you're a fashion guy, you really, really avoid. You don't want your
name put in these headlines. If you're a streamer doesn't really matter that much. This week,
I'm telling you. And this is what I said about, I'm about, I'm a fashion guy. I'm not.
I've been through, like, now what I can never know what Kai's going through, but you see
these brands that fuck with him.
He was going to model for X, Y, and Z, you know, whoever, you know what they're saying?
Yeah, let's circle back with this.
Hold on.
Let's, let's, and you can't do anything.
Yeah.
And you get to realize that in you thinking too big, oh, nah, what he's going through is what
Jake Paul went through when he tried to do Team 10.
Yep.
Jake Paul, you're Jake Paul.
You got to leave these things behind, bro.
Fays Banks with Faze multiple times.
You, everybody's done.
At a certain point.
Gucci, 1017.
Because here's the thing.
This model does not work very well in this modern age.
No, it doesn't work especially well with when people are beyond where they're trying to operate.
When I saw Kyle on Mafiathon with these guys in a room and the one dude said the F word and he said everybody get out of here.
Kajun that can't be in the vicinity of the,
if somebody's saying the F word.
Yeah.
It's Kaisana.
Yeah.
And I think sometimes, like, you're looking at,
Kaysenat right now,
$3 million looks like a big number to anybody.
It is.
But Kaysanat is probably looking at a play that's
$300, 400, $400 million.
That's where his mind,
he's trying to get that play done.
Yeah.
Yo, these dudes is looking at 15,000 subs.
That's it.
they're like, yo, if this happens
and we get 15,000 subs, we're lit.
Once where you're looking at
doesn't align with where the people around you
is operating at, you have to separate yourself
because they will consistently take chances
with your career that you're not down with.
And even when-
This is the worst possible thing.
That word, that's why he's mentioned
is so, you don't even know,
that word is a,
a grenade you throw in a room that even if it doesn't detonate, the mere fact it was thrown,
the effects happens. People just drop down down.
That's what's so grimy. I didn't even know about this Reggie kid until this shit really.
But like him doing that to Kai and like he clearly means profiling like a different like alternate
version variant of how that word is supposed to be used.
But throwing that at Kai after he did all that shit for him is fucking crazy, bro.
That's like the problem too with having these.
young streamers who understand the media cycle enough that they know how to weaponize the headline like that.
Even when it's totally divorced from reality.
This is why, as I said, it's not a meaningful strategy to sign a bunch of guys.
And again, you're dealing with people's what they're going through.
By the way, I do believe everything that Reggie said that he's going through and, you know, all the trauma.
But like, as someone like Kai, like, you know, these days, like, you know,
even, and I'm nowhere near at Kai's level, but like, bro, like, like, my mom came by,
yes, it.
Like, my brain is so, like, I'm like, just fucking bogged down with a million things.
I can't even think about, like, my mom was talking to me.
I'm, like, just kind of, like, just sitting here because there's so much things.
That's me.
Kai's going through a million times more.
And the one thing, you know, I've realized, like, I was thinking about some moments.
I kind of, like, lost my temper.
I was upset.
And I was like, you know, I was upset because I'm like, bro, I'm dealing with way too much mentally that whoever I'm like kind of like I end up like probably saying something to.
I'm dealing with too much for y'all not to be like.
And I'm thinking about Kai and I'm like, dude, if you're Reggie, Kai got a million things on his mind.
He's not ignoring you.
He has to manage.
Kai has an assistant
A whole security team
He pays for a security team for himself
And for the group
He's paying for house
Landscaping
Mortgage
He's paying for warehouses
Trips
He has to deal with attorneys
He has to deal with
Everything
And then
Someone who probably felt like
I didn't get a text back
Oh you don't value me
He now tears down
The whole situation
Now this week
Yo Kai got to feel like
I got to go put some time into streaming again
For the next six months
Get everybody's mind off of it
Let people know whatever
That's just fucked up if you ask me
So you know what I mean
At the end of the day
I don't know man
It's it's
I believe Reggie
But him throwing that on Kassan at it itself
I mean Reggie is a fucking iconoclast
In this culture for having the balls
To come out there and talk about getting
fucking molested
by his older brother, bro, that shit is insane
that he was willing to come with that.
Yeah.
But this tweet that my boy,
Hello Yassine put up,
if we just showed on the screen,
Kaysen that's at the phase of the Mr. Beast arc
where you start to get punished
for the good deeds that you've done.
I feel like a lot of us can relate to that.
No, I do think he will.
Me and Kai haven't talked in a while.
I remember, like, doing his first...
The last...
It's funny, I don't know, I might see my compass con tomorrow.
Yeah.
You know, Kai hasn't talked to me since he thought his girl got fucked by NBA young boy
and that I was like somehow part of this.
Really?
Yeah, I tried to reach out to him.
I was just like, and same thing young boy.
Young boy caught me.
He was just like, yo, I try to reach out to this guy and he's like, nah, fuck that.
I'm not getting on the phone.
But so that was real?
She actually was hanging out with young boy?
From what I know, no.
Okay.
But I hear that was a rumor.
It was a big rumor.
He was untrustworthy of her.
Like, in reality, and by the way, so, like, I have a bigger theory to this.
And when I get on stream, I'll break it down.
A lot of shit worse seen happen now is because of the girlfriend.
I'm going to tell you why.
Kais and that was sent off by close people around.
It's like, if I have a girlfriend that I love.
And my people come to me and be like,
yo, you know she's fucking X, Y, and Z.
I always tell me,
I told Kai's assistant this.
I say, listen, you'll never be his bitch.
Never get in between a man and the girl he's fucking one.
It's always going to be war.
You know what?
Think about what happened.
She's back in the picture.
Let me say this.
Kai got sent off by the people around him
that told him that his girlfriend was doing something
that allegedly she wasn't doing.
You're not realizing
Let me say this
When a man is in love
I've been in love
Fuck the millions
That's my bitch
No I'm being
Like that's what happens
It gives you tunnel vision
You're working for the nigga
If you want your bills to be paid
That bitch that he's with
You better keep him happy
I don't give a fuck
What's going on
So
They send Kai off
Saying that this girl
Because they don't like her
They want him to leave her
They send them off
Basically saying,
Yo, listen, she's doing X, Y, and Z.
Kai believes it.
Cuts her off.
I'm telling you, it gets online at that point.
Young boy tries to reach out.
Like, your bro, like, what?
He doesn't, he declined talking to young boy.
Now, I don't talk to you, I'm good.
I don't talk to him.
I don't talk to that fuck my bitch.
I reached out.
No response.
It's just hard to imagine that she didn't fuck him.
Okay.
And then you could have that reaction.
No, but this is where you should realize.
He realized this shit was cap.
He gets back with her.
Then they're all on the shit list.
Yeah.
So now everybody else,
he's blowing kisses at her now.
What happened to the group that he was fucking what before?
That was all like on his side like her.
Yeah.
Water got cut off with them.
Y'all niggas is not broke or not broke.
or not broke.
Like, you know, I mean, I hope they're not broke.
But like, he's clearly making a choice.
I'm faking with them.
And now it's taking the ramification on everybody else.
Yeah.
So from that situation, as I said, like, yo,
the male loves his woman.
And, I mean, he's changing his brand.
You know, he wants to be this fashion guy.
Like, they post to this too.
This is apparently the entire output of the Clover Boys channel.
six uploads over a one year period
and a couple of them got like a million
views but a bunch of them have like
a hundred and something thousand views.
So they weren't exactly a seizing
upon the opportunity. You know, realistically
if you put a bunch of your homies in a
mansion and you just tell them like, hey, make
YouTube content, chances are they're not going
to have the drive that you would have if you were
spearheading that project.
Listen,
this is why you don't sign people.
Yeah. Yo, let me tell this.
there's moments that I'd be like wondering
let me say this
I've woken up
so many times at 3 a.m. 4 a.m.
And I'm rattling my brain.
I'm like I'm in my office
and I'm watching everybody's content
I'm looking at a number.
I'm rattling my brain with this here that I do.
Rattle it like I can't even sleep.
When you see you invested in other people,
these things sleep like babies.
Yeah.
They're fucking every girl possible.
trust me, I'm telling you, Kai is fried.
What I mean fried is like he's bogged down with just keeping being this biggest guy in the whatever world.
He's watching these guys and he's probably thinking, okay, okay.
And he's probably also looking at them to be like, I'm looking for, he's looking for himself and them.
He can't find it.
Yeah.
And he's working like so hard that he's probably literally taking years off his life.
and everything, he made it out the mud,
and then they are just taking the opportunity for granted.
Yo, these niggas right here, all they want is two bitches to fuck.
They got two bitches for the weekend,
and they got like, they could go get a section at the club.
That's all they want.
So I'm telling you, Kai's looking at this and be like,
Kai is, I'm telling, that's what, and you know what this girl probably did?
These girls in his ear.
Babe, why are you doing this?
You'll stop.
So he cuts the water off from them
and he wants to see if they're going to be able to swim
in a bathtub.
And the first thing that happens is
they come out and say, yo, you're a PDF.
His girl right now is like,
finally you know.
Take that money you was given to them.
Buy me a burkin.
Fuck out of here.
You know, this all comes full circle too
because you know who else kind of gave up on,
well, I don't want to say gave up.
I don't know if he's done.
But Drake was signing an artist left and right for a while there.
And he's even said that he realized at a certain point,
and he's talking about the weekend,
that he didn't need to focus on signing the next Drake.
But then meanwhile,
it feels like he's kind of giving up on signing people in general.
Yeah, man, I think Drake want to show people love.
I don't think he looking at him some contract shit no one.
But everybody tries it because it sounds so great.
Yeah.
And we've seen people who have had big success,
but few and far between.
Yeah.
So, bro, I'm telling you, this right here,
you,
Kai's sitting back
with that bill
and there's a system
friend of that bill
up for him
now you can see it
and he's looking
at 3.7 million
and he realized
he gave
six as a vacation
for a year
and after a while
you know
at first he's like
no no
I believe in them
and it's only
until the drama
comes to his door
yeah
like remember
he just
allegedly
because I just heard
allegedly
he just stopped paying
for all their shit
yeah
now
Steve
they're calling him a PDF
they've lost the money now
yeah
he invested in them
they're not taking money
out of his pocket
it's crazy
and Kai's saying he's going to sue
this fool
I mean
what this fool got to sue for
but he has to do that
yeah
because legally you have to be able
to shut this person up
because this person
is saying consistently
like it's a
like it's a fact
and now you need to put in the air
where you could be able to remove
or have some type of stop to what he's doing
unless he's down to approving a court of law.
It's not about money.
I've never seen this dynamic
of a young black dude from the culture
comes out and says
I was blesseded.
My brother and other family members
made me suck their dicks.
The mom comes out and confirms it
and then the brother puts out an apology.
Like, yo, I'm sorry I'm molested you.
Yo.
This is new terrain.
Kaisenat's, um, Kyson and his team, they just rolled an unlucky hand.
Hmm.
So in streaming for these young kids, this whole gay act is popular.
Yeah.
They're catching up with the white boys.
For real.
We've been doing that.
Yeah, I know.
They just happened to sign the guy who's triggered by it because he actually got,
or R-worded by his family members.
But in reality, again, that's what broke the camel's back.
This is broke back mountain, literally.
It's like how you, I've heard you say this before,
and I know it's actually facts, is that like somebody like Ruby Rose,
you kind of expect at a certain point that she's going to come back out
and take all the whole shit that she was doing in her teenage years
and she's going to reimagine it as trauma.
this is just that but done at like hyper warp speed
because it was handy for him to do it
to paint this anti-Kai narrative.
Bro, I'm hearing stories now about how they were,
they were super coddled with Kai being the guy who's a financier.
And I'm telling you,
we're going to get a better version of Kai now.
I don't think it's a version everybody's going to like around him
because I think he's going to isolate himself with his girlfriend.
because he's realizing
all these creators
they can't do nothing to help him
yeah
you know the Asian
he was supposed to do some like
Jackie Chan
Jackie Chan and like Chris Tucker shit
well that's not it
the time little nigga was like to show
he's still really connected to New York
but he's just like drama walking
Reggie's making the accusation
yeah
Rakai
it was always going to be a problem because
Here's the thing, as much as you want to be seeing that you're with youth culture, because this is a thing.
Like, for example, now, that's what I'm so happy that with my streams, it's more like topicalness than third.
Like, of course, I have peaks and valleys, right?
So, Dirk is, we get the Dirk verdict.
Okay, I got $20,000, but whatever.
But, like, if it's not that, I don't, it's peaks and valleys with what I do.
But for the rest of the people who don't do, like, new stuff, they're chasing the youth.
why do you think that
Kai Sinat
has someone who's on the rage in this group
because they want to connect with the next generation
here's the problem
anytime you have somebody on the rage
we live in a time that as much as
you know listen
they got me off Twitch
because I was trolling a kid
right
I'm trolling a kid
so it already tells you
there's this heightened thing
about even
and I was watching A&P
or like Clover Boys,
but I was watching them
kind of even cross some boundaries.
The kids taking a shit
or he's in a bathroom. They open a door.
They're like, no, I'm serious.
And I was wondering, I'm like,
they don't know
at this point, but at some point
it's going to backfire in their face
that you are
putting your good reputation
around a child being in the mix.
And all these things that are like
fairly common
whether it's smoking weed, drinking, having girls around,
all this stuff gets reimagined as abuse.
Of course.
Even though every set, like, picture of these guys.
They're in their early 20s.
Rekai or whoever is 17.
Brough, you don't think he wants to hit the blunt.
You don't think he's trying to get some.
But you in any way facilitating it will come back to you in a very bad way.
Bro, okay, just even with the thing with me with Twitch, right?
So it's like, bro, like, who doesn't, like, troll their, like, younger, like, like, brother
or like, yo, you're not fucking bitches yet?
Yo, man, you gay, man.
Like, they turned that into what it was.
Here's the thing with Kai, and that's why I tell Kai,
you better save yourself and stop defending everybody here.
Because there's clips that support other people
that might have made him uncomfortable.
Defend yourself and get out of here with that.
Because he was trying to defend everybody,
like, oh, I'm defending Tilel.
I'm like, no.
Because in reality,
there's
now people are looking at these interactions
and it's clips and everybody's like
oh shit that did happen
when it happened nobody cared
so now
Kai is being held accountable
or people are like blaming him for creating
like you know once it starts saying shit like
oh you had an environment of
predators
what
so I get what's going on
that's like the homies hanging out
because reimagined does
an environment of
Predators.
And let me tell you, Kai is so loved.
I think he's the only one who can skate past any allegation.
And he will skate past this.
But what he needs to do is trim the fat.
Yeah, because the next one could be worse.
He got to trim the fat.
If he goes past this and I've seen him with these things again,
he's too pompous saying he's bigger than the program and nobody am bigger than the program.
That's a fact.
Yo, I got to go relieve the babysitter, the kind of thing that Ag is not going to have kids or a wife
so that he won't have to worry about that sort of thing.
She's actually doing a hosting right now.
We might have to do something else this weekend
because I got some quiz and questions for you.
You got some of those?
No, not no holes.
I'll give you some of mine.
You got hosts?
Different area codes.
You know, I was going to, do you have to approve
her fucking somebody else right now or no?
I would say I'm not really worried about it.
No, I'm not saying you're worried about it.
She can.
No, I know she can.
Yeah, she good.
But if she was going to,
I always imagine,
she asking you like, hey, you know, just let you know you're cool with this, right?
Is that the conversation at all, like now?
I have not inquired at all about anyone that she could have shit going on with,
but I would say that like if she did, she would kind of be making this whole thing
easier on me because then I would make it a lot easier for me to be like,
nah, all right, I'm good, yeah.
Now, me, you, well, I'm around all weekend.
It would be a complex going all weekend.
R.
Yeah.
You?
You?
Yeah.
You know what I got to do it?
No, well, I want to, I got to ask you, I got to give my therapy with you because I really
do feel like, I feel like if she does do something and she doesn't, I'm not saying approval,
but it's just like, you know, the same type of courtesy, you know, it's that respect.
I think in your mind you will get closer because right now I feel like you're the one pushing
like now, you know what I was kind of shitty, let's bring it back.
I think that will push you further towards.
You know what?
I guess, fuck it.
I mean, she's doing an interview
like tomorrow with some, like, basketball dude or something.
So she's going to get her side of shit out there.
I don't think you care about the words.
I think if she did, like, a scene.
I go along the other day, I'm on,
I found some new porn site.
What's the name?
I want to give a shout out.
But, yo, I'm like Googling shit.
And I see your wife pop-up, dude.
I'm like, now,
unfortunately through my
you know
a porn discovery
I've seen your wife pop up before
but then I've seen the
fucking tatted up you and I'm like
ah
that's the good shit
no no Jason love shit that's whack
bro I can't watch you
who the fuck so I'm like no
so anyway
like I look at it and I'm like
I realize it's like someone else
that's not you and I was like
this better be
be like pre y'all separating where you were yeah yeah she doesn't shot with anyone since then
and actually she was supposed to but she was like bummed out about the whole thing to the point
where she didn't even want to shoot with anybody else but that is a weird element of it as
i kind of told her is like if we do get back together i'm kind of like trying to just be done with
the whole like you work with other guys thing i like this i don't know if i'm in a position to be
claiming shit like that but i was just telling her i'm like i'm not really like trying to do that anymore
I know you love her, but I do know that I think to me this is a breaking point for the rest of y'all lives.
And it's like, yo, listen, we've made all the money we can.
We've done odd stuff this and third.
But it's like now it's more like, all right, for me to be a better version of you, I want you to be a better version for me.
And I like that.
You should push your foot down.
It is weird because it's like we're at this inflection point where it's like we spent 10 good years together.
do we want to try to ride out the rest of our lives or should we just try to find people that we get along with better or split up?
I don't know.
It's like there's been moments where I thought for sure we were done.
Another kid.
I know.
Yeah.
But that was kind of that decision.
Think about it.
Were you shocked?
I'm over here like about a start.
About the breakup?
Was I shocked?
Kind of.
But like when you think about the kid thing, that's the biggest decision because she's 35.
So it's like as far as having another kid, it's kind of like now or not never, but like not for long, you know?
So it's kind of like, I don't know, but then even me right now, I'm like, do I want to have a kid or not?
Because it's part of me that's like, I'm just not that kind of person.
Like, I want to work.
I want to do YouTube for the rest of my life.
And there's a part of me that's like, I love my kids so much that I want to have another one.
So that's like such a hard decision.
Yeah, well, you're having the dilemma that I hope I never have to go through, which is you having to decide like, okay, if I did want a kid, I probably do have to make these.
these different choices to make sure I'm there even more
because she's probably going to resent me more
if I give her a second kid.
And now she's feeling like, okay, you gave,
like what's the point of us having a second kid
and you're still just blah, blah, blah, blah.
But like, I would imagine this balance by you thinking,
well, listen, you're turn 35.
This is now or never for y'all in like your family structure.
Yeah, it's weird for me too because it's like,
on one hand, I'm telling her like,
we have another kid.
I'm going to be way more helpful.
I'm going to be there.
I'm going to be around, et cetera.
But then at the same time, it's like,
I'm just going to be this guy for the rest of my life.
Like, for the foreseeable future.
Yeah.
But I think it depends on her because, like,
if I've ever heard her, like, correctly,
by the way, obviously, this is me not trolling down like that.
When I'm having jokes this old grade.
But like, no, like, I think with her,
she loves the industry she's in.
And as much as, of course, as a guy,
it would be like, yo, just stop or quit.
I don't know if she's like, all right, I'll just give everything up.
I think she knows that she's made significant headway.
She's, you know, what she does, like, she takes it as like this career that's really, you know,
significant for her.
So how do you get to the point of her being able to do her career somewhat?
Or you even, you know, I'm guessing you'll be like, hey, listen, well, you can't do that.
And how is she going to take that?
Yeah, it's weird.
But the one thing I'll correct on that before we go, though, is that I don't think she's
really, like, in love with the industry.
I think that there was a part of her when she shot that Jason Love scene seemed kind
of exciting.
Ooh, like, finally, I'm sleeping another guy, whatever.
But I think all that's gone.
She's just, like, honestly, she's so done with the porn thing, but then it's hard to turn
off that money, you know?
And obviously, she's still going to do OnlyFans no matter what or whatever, but it's like,
it's still, like, she's still killing it so crazy after all these.
years that's hard for her to walk away from it.
Let me ask you this question because, you know, it's actually funny that the first time
I met her was the time you fought.
Oh yeah, yeah, I know right?
And we had a conversation and one thing, I don't know, I was trying to like...
It was so weird for me to be like doing a little interview and just look over and see you
two having a conversation.
No, no, no, but like obviously, you know, I have so much respect for you.
I wouldn't...
Anyway, so it's just...
Now, somebody else would...
Anyway, the point is...
I was talking to her and like you mentioned, you said, well, like the money thing,
bro, you have enough money, bro.
You know you have money.
She got money, man.
She got too much money.
Okay.
Okay.
Whether you or her.
I never feel like I have money.
Like, because I don't spend it, but I just, I refuse to even acknowledge it.
This is why I want to do like an episode with you, but I don't, I want you to be feeling
comfortable because I don't want to also be disrespectful because you my man's, uh, in terms
of just asking like those type of questions because.
I do think y'all relationships started off a little bit odd where like y'all are a married couple.
You shouldn't, y'all talk.
The way she talked to me and the way you talk to me is like, this is hers and this is mine.
And that doesn't give marriage.
Marriage feels like it gives this is ours.
And when you have that mentality of, you know, oh yeah, she has a lot of this.
No, no, you both.
Like every decision she's ever made, like, you know, with all due respect,
you know, if her get into the position where it makes all whatever with Jason Love is because of you,
right?
A lot of that gets forgotten.
I feel like Reggie at times.
No, no.
No, no, but seriously, though, it's like, like you're the backdrop that the person who you're taking all this,
oh, you're a cuck, you're this.
And that's the play that gives her a lot of these, you know, she's probably, she's amazing what she does.
And, you know, obviously she probably knows marketing.
and she has a head on her shoulders,
but, you know, she's,
she's always been juxtaposed to you, right?
And if I had to look at that situation,
it would imagine, I would imagine that
if you were like, oh, I'm cheating on my wife,
like, bro, shut up.
Like, that's not the thing we're clicking on.
Don't even cares, yeah.
Oh, we're seeing this guy
who we see all the time in hip-hop media,
he has to, you know?
And I just kind of look at that.
I'm like, yo, I'm so surprised that you guys don't look at everything together.
Yeah, I feel you.
But it's just like she has her business.
We have a cumulative business.
We have our family bank account and everything like that.
And then no jumper is just so not her universe that, yeah, we think of it separately.
But at the same time, I mean, ultimately it kind of comes.
You guys should think about it.
We got to put it all in the same bank account?
No, not the same bank account.
What I'm saying is that you should look at her career as this is our.
when she, like, and that's how I thought, because, you know,
and people trying to, like, frame you as a cuck or whatever, like,
this idea of her doing something, I'm like, well, if he could,
if it's framed as, all right, yeah, she's sleeping with somebody,
but, bro, she's bringing in the chicken for our family.
Yeah.
Now she's bringing in the chicken for herself.
She's bringing in the chicken for our family.
And if you do something dumb or you do something that's kind of whatever,
risque or whatever, it's like, we're bringing in this shit for us.
And the only thing we could kind of like confirm is that we're just in this shit together.
And obviously, maybe you guys have whatever accounts that say whatever.
But it's ultimately, yo, everybody on the outside, we're here creating this fortune for us.
That's ultimately going to go to our kids at one day because eventually we're not going to be here is going to our kids.
And that's all that fucking matters.
I totally agree.
I hate that I cannot answer and delve into this more because I have to fucking relieve the babysitter.
and she's going to kill me if I'm not there in time.
And also I have to take a shit and we have to take a photo.
But we could dive into that more.
I'll call on the stream, whatever.
But, yo, Ack, thank you for pulling up for real.
I appreciate it.
My guy.
Greatest forever did it.
The goat, a hip-hop media.
We all got to give it up.
If you don't say it, you're a liar.
I think that's a black.
He's like, godfather.
Yeah, all right, okay.
I'll give it to him.
But yo, shout out to Ack.
No jumper.
