Starting point is 00:03:41 at the beginning like if you like see a lot of people I think people get discouraged with certain things because they don't have certain platforms out there so people be making shit and they not heard so I feel like once I got myself with the right situation and I was able to be put on certain platform and shit like that it actually was a good response so it was like you know what I'm saying so I feel like it would start working out cool, you know, like features and shit like that. And just actually being able to make some money off something you love doing, that just within itself, whether it's a lot of money, whether it's a little bit of money, is actually being able to make some money off of it once you get the business side of things together.

Starting point is 00:04:12 That was a beautiful thing. So shit, it's been good, though, you know. Nobody ever talks about the business aspect of the music game. So just even hear somebody say that, man, you know, like let them know, man, what you feel like people should do first before they even try to attempt to go and drop a record somewhere? What would be your response to that? I would just say most definitely like if your whole thing is to try to make some money off of it, I'm like you need to have it distributed through somebody that's going to actually be able to track down some streams and whatever if you got views.

Starting point is 00:04:44 Because there'd be artists out here, they'd be having hell of views on YouTube. And then you might think that they got something going on, you're running to them and they'd be like, damn, they don't got nothing going on. Like as far as financially, you're like, damn, man, making them money off. You know, so the business side of the thing, I feel like, if you know who's going to distribute your music, you know what I'm saying, get with somebody that you trust. You know what I'm saying? A platform that's solid or whatever.

Starting point is 00:05:02 So whoever going to distribute it, make sure you got that together and shit like that, make sure you know some platforms you're going to drop your own. You know what I'm saying? I feel like platforms is very important. So just shit like that though, you know what I'm saying? But that's small shit, but at the same token, it's hell of important. Because anybody could rap, like, it might be a million motherfuckers. Somebody might walk past right now.

It's putting out, like, you gotta touch topics, you gotta get mix and master, you gotta get artwork, you gotta get certain beats, you gotta, you gotta, marketing, you gotta do a lot. And you feel me? about just wrapping it, putting it together.

So with that being said, I feel like I damn there did enough, or I would say everything, but enough on an independent level. You get what I'm saying? Yeah.
