When I really needed him the most That's when he left And went to Cal in Colorado You know what I'm saying But that's the man who raised me. My real father, they was best friends. My real father did. You know what I'm saying?

I'm like man why is everybody saying it so he showed me the pictures of it and I kept it close to my chest with my mama until I got out when I got out I asked my mama I'm like man mom this is my first day out I'm like man mama like um what's going on with everybody saying cause we talking it's like I had first time for the talk for real she's oh she's seen at the table I'm at the table I'm at the table I'm like man what's up with all these people to my someone I look like this man why you like boy I don't want to hear that you know what I'm saying I don't want to hear that and You know what I'm saying? If I like five minutes in the conversation, though, you know what I'm saying? She ended up coming out telling me that. And then I end up calling the man who raised me, man. And asked him, because I go out by and I have some answers. So when I asked him, I'm like, hey, what's up with this nigga?

Why ain't it keep somebody that I look like? And he laughed. He said, yeah, that's your biological. He said, that's your biological father. But I'm your dad. And that's, all right, so how did you feel about that? You're saying the man who raised you was best friends with your biological dad. So it was a situation where he was going behind, you know what I'm saying, his homie back, sleeping with it.

Right. So how did you feel as a man hearing him say that? And then like, did you accept it? Like, what was your answer? I did. I did. I accepted it because, like, I didn't probably be in one of those situations before. During that time at that age, it's all crazy.

I mean, I've been living like a, oh, fuck it. too fast. Damn. Come to think that I was able to look at that situation at that age. I'm probably like 17 and still be able to grasp it and understand

I'm still like, you don't pose a hell about it. But if you die, wouldn't you, like, presumably the dudes you hang out with some solid-ass dudes some like real respectable dudes, if you die and presumably your girl is

like the kind of girl that a lot of guys are going to try to be with, would you rather be with your homie who, you know, even though you're not around anymore, you would kind of assume that they're going to take good care of or be stand up with her, which, you know, not all of us feel that way about our friends.

Like, for sure, I got a lot of friends that I would not want to date my girl after the fact. But, you know, or would you rather have her date some, like your homie's not good to date your girl if you were dead, but then for some reason, like some other random guy is okay? I don't know. It's like this, right? It's kind of weird. It's the situation, I feel, in the person. Because everybody's going to assume that he was plotting on her the whole time, you know? Yeah.

Right. And they was liking each other the whole time. So if this one of those situations where it was genuine, because you know you did, I feel like you can see so people can't see. And you know the unknown, you see the unseen now. So I feel like if me judging it from being, I feel like I still have a judgment or character as being dead. I'd be able to look at the situation, be like, okay,

I know the unseen, y'all never with each other. I can see your heart. You only fuck it well because my kids, you know what I'm saying? But if I can't see the unseen or something, hell now. You shouldn't be right there. You know what I'm saying? Now I feel like you should be there for my kids and hurry in the time of needs. Why are I got to go to your girl?

Now, if you're in Kelly and you my friend and you did that, you are wrong. Yeah. But in Burm, Low, Birmingham, Alabama, man, it kind of get a pass because it's kind of normal. When a female died, like, she moved on with the next person, boyfriend, or the nigga that he was wet. It's normal down now, though.

Because I was, I'm not in school or I'm either skipping school. Yeah. And I'm looking young. You get what I'm saying? I look young. Even when I got out of school,

still looking 16 years old looking like I'm 13 so I was able to walk somewhere and take a pack I was able to drive somewhere and take a pack and the police wouldn't never expect me yeah man one time before it was raining so hard and I had to take a pack and the police pulled over and dropped me off with the pack not even knowing that you I'm like 13 years old yeah but you look like a school kid though it was like you know sunny days then it started raining. Yeah. It was like one of them times and I was getting soaking with police scene, pulled me over. I steal when it took the play.

I'm so smart, though, as a kid, I knew not to pull the police up at dead house. You know what I'm saying? You kind of sent them off a little bit and walked to where you had to go. Yeah. But how, all right, how much money were you making at that time where it was worth it for you? Like, I'm going to just go ahead and... They was giving me

$50 dollars weed and the $50 dollars they gave me a half of weed. It was midgrade. That was a midgrade. Yeah. It was $50 a half and $100 an ounce. So they stole me out for $50 a halfs and they give me $50. So what I did was made $75 dollars off the half, you know what I'm saying, kept my 50 and told them to sell me an ounce for $705 and let me owe you $25. You know what I'm saying? You just kept my 50. I always stick to 50, stacked on 50, stacked on the

50, stuck on the 50. Yep. And I just, and they said, and then, you know, one time I went to I wanted to buy my own shit. And they were like, you've been saving your money? Like, I've been saving my money. Yeah. What I'm gonna buy? My first thing I ever bought was a touchscreen phone. That's when the screens was kind of like, it was kind of like real plastic.

Yeah, like the LG. Yeah, like you can press down on it. That's the first thing I bought. Is your mom knowing you having money at this point? She knew this at this point. You kind of help her with the bills a little bit? All right, so she's turning the blind eye, kind of sort of to it. Yep, and that's what kind of like was giving me like the, I'm like, damn, my mom ain't saying that I'm coming in late night.

I got money. I'm going to try her with the weed. Now, let me just come here and smell like smoke. So I might just smoke, you know what I'm saying, and blow it on me or something like that. Yeah. No, I'm a kid. I'm trying to get my mom. I'm trying to wing into like, man, if it keeps smoking, it's making my nerve.

I hate to sneak and do some. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? It take a while my energy. So I smoke and blow it on myself, man. She found out I smoked. She, motherfuckin, gave me and my brother a pack of cigarettes and said, now smoke them. You hear me?

Word. I copped out. I ain't doing. She wants you to smoke the whole pack. She wants you to smoke the whole page. She wanted to try. My brother, he got snouting it down and he comes down to the door. He cried, oh, we smoking.

You know what I'm saying? We got caught, but, you know, it's just like a thing. Well, my mom, she really just turned a blind eye to it because it's damn. And I see me now turning the blind eye. to my kids and certain traits that they do. That's just the Birmingham mentality. Yeah. You know, it's like being in Memphis.

They granddad is pimps. You know what I'm saying? I heard a real Memphis nigga with my silly. He told me, I'm wrong because I would get my son some drills to make some money if he's in the streets. And I said, but he said, I'm wrong. He said, but if his little girl is out here fucking, fucking. And she's supposed to be fucking, she out of fucking these little niggas. He's going to make her be a hoe.

And she's going to be his hope. I said, what? He said, yeah, who else supposed to you supposed to get the money to? Is she doing this shit? Young at this age and she's supposed to. She's going to get, but I'm trying to. I can't even understand this mentality. He can't even understand my hands because it's two different cultures.

They really sell to make money. So you basically was okay with your son selling and he, okay, with his daughter selling. and put him as long as he was going to be able to reap the benefits of the money. Right. See, I ain't saying like, as if like, none of this never went on. No, but you're saying, mentality was. If my son chose it, I'm going to give to him the way he's supposed to be because he chose it. I'm not, I can't break it.

Like, logically, I do think that those things are kind of like equally bad, but like my gut reaction is that a guy who, like, teaches their son to sell crack, like, it's fucked up, but I get it. The guy who, like, puts his daughter on the track, like, you're a fucking monster. You're a monster. And that's what I was explaining him. And we argued that whole night. Check the comments. That's why I said, I got to get right. I feel like one of the big differences is that you could sell dope and be a normal person. person after. country park, you know what I said? I went over there. I got to get up every morning. To the day, I'm like that. In prison, I was like that. Everybody still be like in. I'm moving. You know what I say? I love to get up early in. morning. Yeah. I feel like if I'm sleep, she's missing. But yeah, I get up early every morning so we to sell my weed, make my little plays or whatnot. I got my little girlfriend. I'm gonna sit on the steps with and smoke a little blunt. This nigga had the audacity. Had the audacity, man, to come to me and say, because we always argue, but he's a good, he a good dude. He's like a friend, but we always arguing he ain't in any streets like me. Yeah. He got a daddy that's trying to make him

play baseball and take him to the military. But he liked to jump out there and act hard sometimes. And I'm lead his hell. So he's Joe, one more I'm chilling with my girl. He come over there and ask me by myself. I feel like you played me because I'm by myself too. You know what I'm saying? So you come over there and say, hey, in front of my girl, hey man,

look man, we either going to be friends or we're just going to go on fight. Huh? See, people think finding me is normal. Finding me is, man, you don't like me. You hate me. Yeah. Fight. I said fight.

I said stay right here. I went to my mom, my auntie house to look for the gun. I ain't feel that. I'm glad I didn't have that gun. My mom, I'm glad I didn't find that gun, though. I'm looking for the gun on the side of because my uncle gun. I'm looking for the gun in the couch. I couldn't find it.

So I go in the kitchen, pull the draw out. I see a knife. I throw a long-sleeed shirt on. I throw the knife up my own. Ooh, man, I'm a fuck up. it's the same shit I was doing in prison. See me talking about it? No, it's like the same shit

how you work in prison. Yeah. I throw the knife up my sleeve for he went to see it. And I walk over there. So by the time I walk over there, peace people out like Donnell over there, he waits for you. So I'm like, but I'm hiding there.

I'm still coming down off a bean. And now I'm back rolling. I had drunk some orange juice. I went in in house and chugged my auntie orange juice and everything. Now I'm back rolling. You feel me? So I go straight over it.

I'm like, where he is? I see him. As soon as he get up on me, I healed him. And I threw the knife. My partner came. My partner is my best friend. If he would have never got that knife, I would have been a juvenile life.

He came and grabbed the knife and threw that bitch in the sewer. You know what I'm saying? So Donnell beat my ass. You hit me? So he couldn't fight no more, though. Yeah. He hit. Boom.

So he just got hit one time and he was still able to fight. Boom. And then he'd go ahead. Yeah. But he's getting weak. Every time he getting weak. You know what I'm saying? He's getting weak.

Because he's bleeding up. Well, he'd get weak. You know what I'm saying? I got a little two, three piece combo, push him up off me, and I take out running. You know what I say? When I take out rent, I go to my auntie house, rode me up a blunt. You know what I'm saying? My uncle coming in there and bitch was like, boy, you're a effing go to jail.

I said, wait. He said, that boy is dead. I said, dead. I said, what? I said, ah, no, he ain't dead, man. He said, that boy ain't breathing. He laid out out there. I'm so, I'm like, man, shit, I go out there and see the, you know.

I said, no, man, I'm f*** up. I need to stand out. I'm like, little dope, boy, police the poor, though. You know what I'm saying? Come get him right out of the house. I'm like, little dope, boy, everybody out there, everybody just see me right now. I'm like, damn. I get to the juvenile, man.

I'm like, man, you feel, need to go to the county, or you're going to be in here. if he survived we're gonna keep you if that man die he's going on you're going to the counter for murder I said

he finna die I'm some young doing the town I don't know what the fuck out of deed yeah I'm like he finna die he's like yeah man you puncher that man long

oh shit I'm like damn and then you know I get out or whatnot and then he was older than me too so he didn't die no he ain't die So how long you end up doing?

I ended up then, I did like 60 days. I did like 30 days in the detention center. And like 30 days at the bridge program. Yeah. Not the bridge. It was like a tug of heat. Yeah, it was a tiger hit. So it wasn't in major for real.

But when I got out, though, this is when I learned how to handle stuff like me at the incident. Because that's my first incident. And he had a dad. He brought his dad over to my mama house, my auntie how else I meant. And he said, y'all going to have any more problems? Because we ain't moving, you ain't moving. Y'all going to have any more problems? I'm like, nah, he's just dead away from me.

I'll stay away from him. And it's after the altercation. This after the altercation. I'm on house arrest night. So y'all was able to piece it up, though? Yeah, we piece it up. But, like, I f***ed his career. I f***ed his career.

He was supposed to win. He played Major League Baseball. And he supposed to went to the Marines. So one day when I get rich, I'm going to wipe them down. Oh, so you still somebody that you know? Yeah. And we got mutual friends.
