Starting point is 00:00:00 We live, baby. I'm with it. What's up? We live. Yeah, we live. We don't be just kicking the shit, man. Just moving and moving. Go, you hear me.
Starting point is 00:00:08 You did. Hey, man. Mac Tree live from Mississippi, man. Y'all go check the shit out, man. You know what I'm saying? I'm going to really put it down, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, we're going to get to all that, Jack. Yeah, I'm going to put it down.
Starting point is 00:00:20 Hey, you're an interested in a fucker, man. I'm happy to even have you here. And I know we ain't supposed to cuss in the first couple of seconds, but damn it this shit ain't too real. We some of the last left in the trap. You see that it took some of the pictures and all this shit off the wall in the front. Pipe me up then, man. We're some of the last in the trap, man.
Starting point is 00:00:37 Hey, I'm used to it. We some of the last here. I'm used to it. I'm the first one that worked and the last one in the lead. You heard me. You did. I'm a sound n-knit off for us, you hear me? For so.
Starting point is 00:00:46 And we're going to go ahead and dive on the end. For so. The Sharp Tank. No jumper. Sharpest, coolest podcast in the world. And today, I got a real trap star, man. And real entrepreneur, man. And, you know, independency of just even moving his own music.
Starting point is 00:01:10 I got my man, Mac Tree, in the building here today with me, man. Tell me what the hell's going on, man. Let's kick it off. Hey, it's your boy, McTree. You hear me? I'm not. You know what I'm saying? Direct, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:01:26 I don't really beat around the bush, man. You know what I'm a real solid individual man, you know what I'm saying Came a long way, you know what I'm saying like for real for real and I just want to really put it down You know what I'm saying? Let them know where I'm from and you know what I'm saying how I started and you know what I'm saying? My trials and tribulations Yeah, my wins and really let people you know what I'm saying You know understanding what they're taking in music game like to really know what I'm saying come up especially from where I'm from you feel me yeah well the ones that don't know you
Starting point is 00:02:02 because there's ones that do uh you do move your music independently man like how i even found you man was sitting i'm on instagram one day and i see somebody like i keep seeing this promo coming up you know and it was a song that was that was just catchy man it was called uh it's up yeah and like it was only like it was probably like 30 seconds man it's probably like a 30 and it was like you you know, get your promo up if you want to do like a cartoon video type of or a deal. You know what I'm saying? They was using you as the promo to sell their stuff. Well, I like the song so much.
Starting point is 00:02:36 I wouldn't start looking. I'm like, damn, he actually got some views. He's actually moving. Yeah. You know, it was different to see somebody. I'm like, oh, he's independent. He's moving his own shit. He putting his own cash into it.
Starting point is 00:02:47 That's the minds of being there entertainment, man. That's the label, man. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? No, we represent to the fullest, man. Man, we got the merch, Miserbillionaire.com, you know what I'm saying? I brought you a shirt too, man.
Starting point is 00:03:01 I like this right here. Hey, this is live right here, man. Go get the merch, man, Miserbillionairez. I like that. Dot com, you feel me. Yeah, man. How long? I got to ask you, man, for real.
Starting point is 00:03:13 How long have you been, like, in the music game, like moving this, man, whether it's taking your wins or losses in the music game, man. Like, how long you've been pushing and surfacing? Man, I'm like, I'm like, see, years in, you know what I'm saying? I started my coming in probably about six years ago, and I really didn't know what I was doing. I just jumped out the push, like my first
Starting point is 00:03:33 song and video with Moneybell, yo, you feel me? So it's like, I kind of got just through out there in the ocean, you know what I'm saying? Folks called me here and then. I'm doing shows and, you know what I'm saying, trying to really figure it out on my own, you know what I'm saying? So I had to really learn the business and, you know, I really figured out because I jumped in the game, piped up, you know what I'm saying? Right, right.
Starting point is 00:03:58 Was it an easy process for you, you know, coming up through that? You know, just trying to even do it by yourself because I was just talking to somebody before you, man, and we were sitting there chopping
Starting point is 00:04:08 and we was like, man, it takes a village. You know, so it's got to be hard when you independent and you by yourself trying to really make all this shit happen.
Starting point is 00:04:17 Yeah, it is. It is definitely a job, you know what I'm saying, but you got to have a certain mind frame to be even, you know what I'm saying doing it anyway because you got to understand how to gain work you know what I'm saying like it's going to take real work and you're going to have to understand the business or what you're doing you know what I'm saying I was just kind of I was lucky but at the same time I still ain't going to say that because you know even at the same time right now like everybody's only biggest they last song so you got to study be able to put the music out and put the visuals out and put the visuals out and and keep it going and you know really understand the business you know what
Starting point is 00:04:58 saying for the even be you know doing this independently anyway you can't just drop songs and think it going to go no way you got to learn the marketing you got to learn about you know how to sell your merch and sit up how to get show how to really get it moving you feel me yeah a lot of people don't because I notice a lot of people think that they can go make a song, put it on the internet, it's supposed to blow. But if you're not putting no press behind it, or you're not putting somebody behind it that can, you know, help you even push it out and get it to other ears,
Starting point is 00:05:36 you could have one of the greatest songs in the world. Like they say, man, there's a thousand Michael Jordans. There's a thousand Michael Jordans that didn't make it to the league. Yeah. Right? Yeah, definitely. You know? Definitely.
Starting point is 00:05:48 So, you know what I'm saying? It ain't it. It's about it. But at the same time, you want to. you want to create a leverage to even be considered for a labor. I know people that's in labor deals right now, but they still ain't got no hit song. If you ain't got no hit song,
Starting point is 00:06:06 you ain't got no leverage to really be able to thrive in the gang. So now you're in the labor deal. You're talking about your deal ain't working because you ain't dropped no hit, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I always, I look at it. it like this man honestly i get that you know people hop into deals and shit like that like but
Starting point is 00:06:29 to me i wouldn't want to be in no deal if i know i'm not really knocking out no hit songs that can do numbers just like the podcast game like why even play myself and get into debt with these people because i feel like yeah when you when you get into when you i have to really look at it like when you get into it with like a label or somebody who's major like that and you know they say they they offer you this money, but I noticed they'll offer you the money, and I said this shit before. They'll offer you the money with the contract. The money's the blind you to sign that shit.
Starting point is 00:07:02 Yeah. The money's to blind you. You know what you're able to be able to meet those standards. You gotta know your worth. Yeah. You gotta know what you're at. But you gotta know if you can really meet them standards. People just see the money and say, yeah, I'm gonna take it now. Going for the shot, but yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:16 You into a whole fucking contract with these people. You might be done soul your soul, you know what I'm saying? And I think that's where that's saying. comes from even as in depth as it gets is you know you sold your soul a lot of people sell their selves to sell they sold to the music industry to the you know what I'm saying just man social media just you name it man music is the biggest I've seen a lot of people sell they so I hear a lot of the stories I'm looking at it like this you know what I'm saying like you know what I saying like if you get an opportunity sometimes you got to go with it and just be able to
Starting point is 00:07:53 You know what I'm saying? Work and put in the dedication to get what you need to get. Just like getting a rookie contract. Like, you know what I'm saying? And really being like, you got to be able to kill a contract too. You know what I'm saying? Like, selling a soul. Like, I don't just look at sign a contract like selling your soul.
Starting point is 00:08:13 I look at stuff like, say, like, like, charged and white. You know what I'm saying? Like him. You look at it like Josh. No, no. No, no, I look at, I'm gonna be real, bro. I look at Charleston White as a person that is selling his soul for the fame. Because he out here dissing people and doing, like, I, like sometimes he might say a good message.
Starting point is 00:08:37 Yeah. You know what I'm saying? But he'll come back and say something to just, really, just, really, you see what I'm saying? Yeah, yeah. Like, look like a, you know what I'm saying, look like a clown, you know what I'm saying? Like, you know what I'm saying? And I hate that. I feel like he had woke up.
Starting point is 00:08:53 the community and a conversation that need to be started, but at the same time, he's just going about it the wrong way. Right. You know what I'm saying? Like, even on my new project, that where I do the cartoon, it's like, I'm not a role model. Yeah. I'm speaking as a rapper, I'm not a role model.
Starting point is 00:09:11 Look at what I don't do, and I'm still able to tap into the younger fan base because of the way I'm doing it, you know what I'm saying, with the cartoons and the metaverse, and you see what I'm doing? I'm saying like the whole dialogue you are working you see what I'm saying I'm tapping into the gaming market the nFT market like I'm really tapping into a lot of markets right now and being hurt you see what I'm saying and and and putting myself in a situation to capitalize off of my work you feel so we're like this what I'm trying to show people you know what I'm saying like man it don't matter where you're from
Starting point is 00:09:53 like you really got to sit down and learn what you're trying to do and have a have goals and and and sit the you see what I'm saying set the stage for a really and I think this is important I believe this is an important message loved one because for the people that are coming up or trying to do it themselves because they might not have all the money or have all the resources but they're still trying to get there to hear somebody like you like tell them like yeah I want I'm the king of making something out of nothing. Yeah. So I want to be able to, like, really get these people to gain.
Starting point is 00:10:29 Like, you ain't got to just jump and sign no deal. All you got to do is come up with the recipe to be able to make money out for what you doing. You see what I'm saying? Whether it's a podcast, whether you're selling music or no matter what you're selling, you know what I'm saying. You got to know how to market yourself. Like, especially like what I'm from, I'm from Mississippi. So it's a lot of people like artists. Mississippi that it's artists from Mississippi that claim other places they don't even say they from
Starting point is 00:10:58 Mississippi like you like Soldier Boy and Rick Ross and you know what I'm saying like Ray Schumann like they don't they don't really like they don't really just claim Mississippi or come back and open doors for artists from Mississippi so this what I'm here for like I want to be a and make, you know, open doors for people from Mississippi and bring hope to my city because we ain't got no basketball team or no football team. You see what I'm saying? People like David Banner and Big Creek, like, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:11:37 I feel like they never came back and really opened doors for artists from Mississippi. So people don't really look at it. Like we got a market for a rapper, so that's why I stream it so hard. Like, when I first came in the guy, I had the son with Money Bad. They flew me to California. You were like, that was ready to sign me.
Starting point is 00:11:59 But they wanted me to say I'm from Memphis. You see what I'm saying? So I can understand how a lot of artists could, you know, turn their back for the money. You see what I'm saying? Like, well, I'm going to say where you want me to say I'm from. And they write up different articles. They might not say where they're from or they might say they from other places. You see what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:12:19 But, like, me, I feel like I'm going to be the sacrificial lamb, you know what I'm saying, and I don't want to take no credit from nobody. Like, shout out the other artists from Mississippi working, like, Big Walk Dog, and my boy, Parkway, D. Big Walk Dog, bang. He fucked with Gucci, right? Yeah, he fucked with Gucci. He over there with Gucci in 1070.
Starting point is 00:12:43 Yeah, he's from, like, real close to where I'm from, so I don't never want to take no credit, and he do represent me siper, like, folks like, day one Nico, like, you know what I'm saying? This real street shit we talk about right now, man. This real street shit. I'm gonna kick it like this. You don't know you gotta know, man. I'm gonna kick it like that. Talk that shit here.
Starting point is 00:13:02 Like, I can't do it no other type of workhouse. Well, I'm from, like, man, it's just so many different obstacles for artists. Like, I want to bring hope to the city. Like, and then I got a real good eye for telling. Like, you know what I'm saying? I want to open up a situation like a, uh, uh, masterpiece situation that really display the talent from where I'm from in other places. Stay into the mic for me.
Starting point is 00:13:24 You see what I'm saying? I want to from where I'm from and other places, but like I really want to make a movement for, you know what I'm saying, like, kind of like, think about it. My first, like I did a song with Moneybed before he blowed up, right for, I mean, he got signed like right there. I did a song with Hood Rich Pablo One right before he blah. I did a song with T. He's now signed the Empire.
Starting point is 00:13:49 I did a song with Block Life Nephew. I did a song with Unfung, Free W.S.L. Unfung, Free Howard Y.S.L. You know what I'm saying? Freehood Rich Pablo I won. Not to mention, you also did one that's one of my favorites with Future. I did a song with Future.
Starting point is 00:14:08 I did a song with All these guys did. I worked with Drummond, I worked with A T.L. Jacob, foe. He blowed up. He's bigger producer in the world now. You see what I'm saying? So it's like, I got a job. I got a real eye for talent, you know what I'm saying? So I feel like, man, I can really open some doors, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:14:27 Like, just give me the ball, coach. I'm really him, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, you feel me? Yeah. And that's when I'm going with it. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, man, I don't want to knock nobody. Like I say all the time, I always want to keep a tree or so it's like, like, you know, I want to shut out like, you know, I want to shut out.
Starting point is 00:14:49 your guy and Jay-Z, people like that for shining light on the situation down in Pards, Mississippi. Where I'm from, you know, I got people still locked up down there. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, I would lock up down there. Like, I know about the harsh conditions that people going through dying. So it's like, I can't do nothing but feel, real sympathy for them. But it's like, it's almost like a curse on Mississippi. Where I'm from, it's almost like it's a curse.
Starting point is 00:15:18 Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, they kind of like, they don't put too much media on the situation. They be at hand. So it's like, we get looked over in a lot of different situations. Like, you know, they're still saying nigger now and now. Y'all been seeing it in the news. They got all type of situations with, like, racist and different situations, politics. And, you know, it's a lot going on.
Starting point is 00:15:39 You know what I feel like need to be a dress. So we're like, man, you know, if I have to be the sacrificial land, like I'm going to bring out it to the forefront. Yeah. You see what I'm saying. I like, I definitely like how you, you are willing, able and capable of carrying Mississippi
Starting point is 00:15:58 on your back. Now, whether people may agree with that or disagree with that, I don't think they should disagree with it because you're actually here standing up for your culture and your sides. You know what I'm saying? At least somebody made it through the door
Starting point is 00:16:12 to be able to come here right now and even just come talk about it. And speak on the politics and situations. And speak on it, you know, and how you feel. is fucked up over in your area and why maybe the music is not getting heard or push where it needs to get pushed. Yeah, I feel like, yeah, and I want to make sure that I discuss stuff like this, you
Starting point is 00:16:33 know what I'm saying, topic like that because I feel like we got a lot of talent that need to be displayed, you know what I'm saying, like for real, for real. So at the same time, it's like... You're one of the hardest coming up out of there to me right now, Church. I'm going to be honest with you. And people can knock me or try to say like, oh, Sharp, no, you tripping, no.
Starting point is 00:16:55 This man, this man, music right here, man, I listen to it when I take my drives. You're saying, you're one of my favorite artists, man. It's motivational. That's independent. It's motivational hustle music. And then to find out that you do everything freestyle, that trip me out when I talk to you.
Starting point is 00:17:15 I'm like, man, you know, I know your music. I'm like, this is shit. people write. No, I can't even write no song. I'm doing motivational street music. Like, I want to motivate you. Like, I have so many people hit me up like,
Starting point is 00:17:30 man, I get on your music and make me want to go get some money. They might work at the school. It's brought me to no jump or they might work at the factory. It's probably the no jump. They're like, I get up on your music and it's motivated. I keep it like, I keep it mostly up tempo.
Starting point is 00:17:45 I don't want you to feel it. And then like, that's why I see, man, go check out there. I'm not a role model, man. Which is the new joints that just dropped. I'm the first rapper, doll, did it like this, man. You know what I'm saying? Like, I got a whole YouTube series, like, every son got a video tour with dialogue, you know what I'm saying, 3D animated cartoon series.
Starting point is 00:18:08 You can wake up and eat breakfasts on the third of the morning, and chick, make, Trio, you feel me? Yeah. And it's like I got a message with the music, you know, I'm saying, because I ain't just really doing it for nothing. You see what I'm saying? It's like I do it to inspire. Like, I'm trying to innovate people.
Starting point is 00:18:25 Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, I see a lot of people, copy a lot of different things I do because they might be on a bigger platform. But at the same time, I don't do nothing, but salute them, Kyle. Like, that's what I come here for the innovating, inspire. I got plenty of sauce.
Starting point is 00:18:40 You can have this. I got plenty more drip. You feel me? We got plenty drill. That's just a little bit of it. You feel me? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:49 Like, you know, you gotta look at it. Like, think about it. Like, it's a lot of great people come from Mississippi. Like, Larry Hoover, like, Oprah Winfrey, like, Morgan Free. Like, a lot of big people. Like, you know what I'm saying? That clan, like, it's just a lot of sight. You ever heard of Mississippi Pimp?
Starting point is 00:19:07 You feel me? Like, we start a lot of culture we don't get credit for. You feel me? Like, blues music were, like, we really from this. Was that a jab to the movie? Was that a jab did it? Was that a jab did it? the pimping don't and say hey man we started the pivot first you feel but we really out the mud
Starting point is 00:19:21 there was a jab i got that out of the barn real quick you're my boy so i got it in life you know i grabbed it out of the pond real quick like oh okay why he's what he's trying to say man but shit dude i feel like man culture is everywhere yeah and mississippi man y'all have a lot of culture even with the mississippi mud pie come on my favorite cakes come on man one of my favorite cakes man i don't know Junior, you ever had a Mississippi motherfucker? You never had one? Oh, baby, you're missing out. You miss.
Starting point is 00:19:53 You ain't got to go to Mississippi to get you one. We're going to talk afterwards. We got to get you up on game. You're feeling, man. Yeah, got to get you up on game. You're going to love that thing. You know, we got something of the best foods. Like I said, man, I feel like
Starting point is 00:20:07 like we ain't got no face or no sound to get Chris out. It's like Memphis gets so much. pretty, but it's a lot of talent and swag and stuff out of Memphis? Man, I stayed in Memphis. Like, Memphis, Memphis really, like, I learned a lot of game from Mississippi, from Memphis. I learned a lot of game from Mississippi. I jumped off the porch, like, to be honest, like, when I first started rapping, it was artists, like, three, six, and eight ball, and folks like that really made me play a fly.
Starting point is 00:20:41 Those folk made me feel like it was possible. Like when I When I moved to Memphis I'm seeing these people in the neighborhood That why I say I always go back to my neighborhood Because I want them kids to be able to believe in the dream Because when you see people that's really doing things It make you feel it's possible
Starting point is 00:21:00 And it'll make a person work twice at hard I get so many people hit me up Like I inspire me like I can't do nothing But keep going to I really create the situation I got the vision I want to create the situation man and to really be able to help people out. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:21:16 So, bam. It's crazy to hear you because your music is hard. Okay, granted. You feel. But to hear you sit back and be like, because you don't hear a lot of rappers come on and say that, like, hey, I just want to create a different situation for the other people. I'm trying to open up the doors for other people.
Starting point is 00:21:36 They just come on and it's for self, for self. Like, it's no extra substance And like, hey, I hope this Yeah, it might be for you. It is for you. It's supposed to be for you. But I hope this gives somebody else some substance to where they can take it and make it for them too.
Starting point is 00:21:54 Well, you gotta look at it like this, man. Like, check this out, man. I like that. Like, I like how you move on that. Like, you push a message. But check it out. Come on. I come home from prison, right?
Starting point is 00:22:07 You know, I come straight home. I flew out to a Sacramento. San Francisco. I'm out here living. So soon I come home from prison. Like, I've been lit. You know what I'm saying? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:22:17 I'm hitting rappers, you know what I'm saying? I'm really living in life. Wait, you say you're hitting rappers girls. Yeah, but see, yeah, but see, like, I don't kiss and tail. I don't kiss and tail. You ain't got a kiss and tail,
Starting point is 00:22:28 but just so we know. Like, I want to hit, I got some on the hit list. I want to, but see, I ain't going to kiss and tail on my work car. I got to keep it. You know, we're going to keep it pimping. You feel me?
Starting point is 00:22:39 We don't do that. Come on there. Come on, man. I ain't fin to do that. I ain't no red. Come on, man. He's saying, man, I'm trying to still hit. Yeah, come on.
Starting point is 00:22:48 Come on, man. I'm trying to blow the cover. Like, I could tell you, like, I got some on the hitting light. Man. Like, they girls. Who do you want to hit, church? Who you got on the list? That girl, Suki, man.
Starting point is 00:22:59 I like Suki right now, man. Kevin Gates put his list out. I like Suki Hanna right now, man. You know what I'm saying? Backtree. Kevin Gates put his list out right to the next year. Man, I do something. Who would Mac Tree hit, man.
Starting point is 00:23:07 Put your list out. man, I go, I don't know. I go beat Simone, too, I don't know. Like, she got this short hair. Yeah. She got hard, man.
Starting point is 00:23:21 Like, then, you know what I'm saying? You gotta put, like, I don't know, I might put a snow bun in there. Put a snow bun in there. What are you looking at? Who's got to be something live, like, something live, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:23:34 Tiana Trump, something nasty. You feel it? Yeah, something nasty. Yeah, man. Yeah. I'm the one. Yeah, yeah. I'm gonna tell you the real church.
Starting point is 00:23:43 That's for me and you. I'll be real with you. See, I'm a man that know how to change the ratchettiness. See, when they get around me. Yeah, yeah, when they get changed, yeah, I think they really like it. Like, when they get around me, they like, they like to be able to clean it up.
Starting point is 00:23:59 Like, yeah, like, you know, tightness. Like, look, don't make me, don't make me, come on, like, come on that, I don't even have to say nothing. I just got the kind of, you see me, that energy, man. I see you, man. Yeah, yeah. I see you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:13 Then, you know what I'm saying? I'm going to, you know what I'm saying? I'm going to work my moves. I was just like, I'm working my moves. How's that? What comes behind it? You feel me? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:22 You got in the California King bed and we wrestling. You're right? Come on, man. I really live this shit now. Like, for real. It is crazy to like. For real, you're right. It is crazy to hear that like you really don't write none of your rhymes like you get
Starting point is 00:24:39 there and all that shit. Listen to it. Listen to it. Listen to it a million times. And to hear that, to know that you don't write any of it, you know, you get in there and you on cue the whole time. Like you're not a mumble rapper. You're not a rapper that wraps off beat.
Starting point is 00:24:57 Like you're not none of that. Like he stayed true to the core of it. And for him to get up in there and make it sound like, man, I'm talking about it's no stuttering, no mumbling, no nothing. No, it got to be right though. Like, we come in like, you know what I'm saying? You got a Southern Flats. The new son, I'll be number like 12 bars.
Starting point is 00:25:13 So it's like, I go in there, like, I do six and six or four, four, like, whatever time I mix up. And then just come back and, uh, uh, huh, uh, you know what I'm hungry for it. Like, it ain't hard for me. Like, I don't really beat, like, most of my lyrics, you can tell. Like, it's something you will really do. It's something relatable. I try not to rap about nothing that you, you know what I'm saying? I ain't rapping about going kill up the whole block.
Starting point is 00:25:39 I'm rapping by stuff I'm really living and doing, you know what I'm saying? Like, I hear enjoying life, like, motivate you want to get some money and- your rapists talk about that, bro. It's like they feel like they got to be in the, you got to be in the riffraff. You got to be in the riffraff to come talk about something. No, I ain't with it. Man, I just want to get some money. I want to shine.
Starting point is 00:26:02 I want to hit some of these Hollywood stars. Like, you know, I've been coming to LA for a minute. Like, I want to get some money. I want to, you know what I'm saying? I want to put some other people in position and get them opportunities. As you should. You see what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:26:18 Yeah, like, that's what I'm about, man. You know what I'm saying? Being like mind of billionaires. Dot com, buying a billionaires entertainment. Like, that's what we're about. Like, we really want to take it to the niche level. Like, that's why I jump in the metaverse lane. You see what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:26:34 Like, we want to be able to get money. Like, you know, everything. I ain't turning digital, Bitcoin, NFT, like you gotta have money investing, stocks and stuff, and know that. This is gonna be it. Whether you scared or this or it, you gotta put some money to the side
Starting point is 00:26:50 that you can invest in. No, do your homework and figure out what's going on, so you're gonna be left behind, you feel me? Yeah. Yeah. I like that, man. Like, you got a lot of game when it comes to, like,
Starting point is 00:27:02 I don't know, you just, you swift with it. And I like that. Like, you know where you got to really play. that position. You know, you working, and it brings me to
Starting point is 00:27:14 another fact I want to talk about like you working with future and doing the song with future and, oh yeah,
Starting point is 00:27:21 you see, you still, yeah, you know how to still pull the string off your shit, yeah, man,
Starting point is 00:27:24 you brought that one out from the hotel on church, real still trap nigga. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, they owed you that one, huh, church?
Starting point is 00:27:31 Yeah. They owed you that one. Yeah, got to keep it clean, man. Hey, man, but just, you just move.
Starting point is 00:27:38 and grooving, just doing the joint with Future. I wanted to know why you never really did the video and why you put it out in the cartoon standpoint. I'm gonna tell you to be honest, man, like when we were first time I doing the video situation with the mound or whatever. Future was major. That man is moving today.
Starting point is 00:27:59 It was like, that was like in 20, what it was like, 2018, the end of 2018. Yeah. When I first did it, and we was talking about getting a video, you're doing. Yeah. Man, I fuck around there and got locked up
Starting point is 00:28:12 for a warrant, man. On my way to Atlanta, I stopped in a little small town. I think it's called Temple. It's like 30, 45 minutes from Atlanta where I was going.
Starting point is 00:28:23 And I stopped, and I went my beans, man, I was tired, you know what I'm saying? So I stopped in. Pulled at the gas pump and I had nodded off, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:28:33 And I went there 15 minutes and Napoleon hit the wonder. So, you know what I'm saying? police kind of locked, you know what I saying? They woke me up, say I had a warrant. So, you know what I'm saying? Like, I ain't know, like, what I got a warrant for? Who to walk?
Starting point is 00:28:47 So, it really was bogus. They're saying that I wasn't going to see my PO, but, like, that's what I'm telling you about Mississippi. You see what I'm saying? They said I wasn't going to see my PO. My PO told me I didn't have to come see her no more. I'm like, I ain't lying like I was there every time I had to be there. I paid my money.
Starting point is 00:29:08 And you know how I go. So I paid the money. So they told me I ain't have to come no more. So next thing, you know, I'm in Atlanta. I got a warrant. I get locked up. You see what I'm saying? Now, they violate me.
Starting point is 00:29:21 I go to do four months. I don't pay the lawyer and all this. And I'm still locked up for four months. I miss my family for Chris. I miss the video shoot the whole situation was set up. I'm going to do the paperwork and get the situation. But it didn't work. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:29:36 So once I went to pre-exam. You know what I'm saying? That's when I ran into the people like, shout out to my people on Jake Kiddler, man. You know what I'm saying? He had put me in touch with some people that were doing the cartoon that were first starting. He was like, man, you ought to look at this. Like, this is another avenue to be going with your situation. Like he was one of my advisors on my team.
Starting point is 00:30:04 Shout out to Kielder. So boom, once he put me on this. game, I went there with the future video. I took it there and then I was like, you know what? I'm going to keep doing this because I want to create a whole, a whole nother lane for myself. Like, I don't want to be in a lane with everybody else in which I still got hard sons and videos out right now, you know what I'm saying, like really doing my thing.
Starting point is 00:30:32 But I also want to be able to grab these crowd, guys like in the GTA crowd. what I'm saying like I want my character to be in the video game like Gtie I'm trying to make real moves I want I want me to be in that motherfucker too I ain't going to lie man we got to make some we got to make a petition we got to make a word I want to be in GTA man I want to ring a GTA man man listen to gta rock star holl at me because that's what you got to put me in there that's what yeah they need to go ahead and come pick up basically all we got to do sometimes love one is just speaking into existence see they probably already wanted to come they That's what I'm on.
Starting point is 00:31:08 GTA Rockshall. They probably wanted to come pick us up already, right? Pick me up. They was just waiting for us to say it. I'm letting them know. Look, hey, GTA, whoever, like, call or dude, like, we can really make a situation. Got my own fan base, like I said, man.
Starting point is 00:31:25 I'm like, Master P, like, see, like, that would really start me rapping. Like, my auntie, my auntie, like, she, I always used to compare me to Jay Z and Master P and the real hustlers. of the game like she was like like you got their real swag like nephew you got it boy like you know like i said i'm pulling up fly you know i come from nothing we made it fair we come in the game figured it out quick you know what i'm saying so boom so she's like baby you got the swag with the wopped in our way like played around but i ain't never like i was a huck like you know
Starting point is 00:32:02 what i'm saying i looked up to the hustle like who i seen really making money like you know When I was in Grenada, Mississippi, like a little small town, I seen Hushlin. And even when I moved, like, for I moved to Memphis, originally I moved to another town, like, from Mississippi called Co-War to Mississippi. And it was a small town. Like, that's why I really jumped out the porch and really learned a lot of, you know what I'm saying, different stuff. And then I moved to Memphis once I graduated.
Starting point is 00:32:33 So once I graduated and really got to the city, like, they're moving fast, so I'm studying and learning more and more and more people. So it's like I hurried up and built my rest away. I would connect it. You see what I'm saying? That's why I went to prison. Like, it's just kind of too easy, too fast for me. So, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:32:53 Me going to prison even though it were rough, it was like, damn it one of the bitch thing happened to me because I was just moving too fast. You feel? Real. I'm glad that you're out of that mixture today. Is there anything that you would want to tell the fans, the viewers to be on the lookout for or just some overall game or a message you want to send to the younger crowd, older crowd, mid-crowd, doesn't matter just to the people overall?
Starting point is 00:33:24 Man, I just want to let people know, like, you know what I'm saying? Even, even me saying that I'm not a role model just because, yeah, Y'all see people shining and this and that. You don't never know what they went through and struggle to get to to get that. So you got to be looking up to the people that in your community, like the teachers and the parents and the people that are making sacrifices to get you in a situation.
Starting point is 00:33:54 You got to look up to them first before you just look up to us as rappers, you know what I'm saying, for to be your role model cars. Like we're still going through. trials and tribulations and living life. And so it's like, me, I'm just real enough to tell people that, you know what I'm saying? Like, for real, I want to really like enlighten people like, like I said, man, my auntie died. When I were locked up, my auntie husband killed her and then he turned around and killed itself.
Starting point is 00:34:26 So that's what it really made me just know I was going to do music. You see what I'm saying? like just that happening? I'm like, yeah, man, I'm gonna, ain't you always wanted me to rap? So I was like, yeah, when I get out of prison, man, I'm a guy on really put the peddle to the middle. So, like, man, I got a real story.
Starting point is 00:34:44 Like, you see what I'm saying? Like, and I want to be able to give back. I want to do the Deborah Harris Foundation for, you know, mothers that have been abused and different stuff. Like, you know, I want to group with people like this and bring back positive to. the community, not just raping the community, you feel me? Like, for real,
Starting point is 00:35:05 like, them my goals, you know what I'm saying? Right, Troy, you, uh, you're a real motherfucker, church, like, just to hear you even come and sit down with me, like, it, it shut me down, like, I'm just sitting there, I'm just watching, I'm just looking, like... And I know, you be spitting the pee,
Starting point is 00:35:21 and I do, I do, I do my thing, but just, to be able to just sit back, it's like a movie to watch somebody else talk about their life and pour it out on the line, man, and really put it out here into the water, man, out into the ocean and let people really hear this, you know,
Starting point is 00:35:39 struggles. Yeah. The ups and the downs. Shitting the rounds and rounds. You feel it me. You did what I'm saying? Because it's always a roller coaster, man. You're going to go through things,
Starting point is 00:35:50 and I want the viewers to know. That's why I brought somebody on like yourself. Not only is the music dope, but just the things you've been through, man. These are the stories that need. to be captured, even people that are inspiring to be into the rap game or into any game, podcasts, or social media, whatever, you know, you're going to have to go through it. You don't, even if you lose today, that means you may lose tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:36:18 Man, you know, me personally, I probably got over 300, you know, 3,400K, you know what I'm saying, investing in what I'm doing, you know what I'm saying? And I ain't get here by just, you know what I'm saying, dropping a video. Like, it ain't worked like that for me. But at the same time, you know, I already live a certain type of lifestyle. You see what I'm saying? So I just feel like they come with it. Like, I already got 100, 200 worth of cars, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:36:52 Like, I already got this neck going on anyway, so why not? You know what I'm saying? put myself in a situation to help other people and then inspire other people, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. That's real. And I appreciate you, Church, for coming in, coming and fucking with you, man.
Starting point is 00:37:13 We're going to come back, because, you know, I'm watching your journey, man. And I'm watching it. Listen to me, you ain't, from this point, now that I'm watching your church, hey, you ain't got no motherfucker. Hey, you ain't got no excuse but to go up. Because it is up.
Starting point is 00:37:29 Man, you know it's up, man. Like, that's what I do, man. Every time I come out, you know, every time I come out. You know, every V. I'm like, you know what I'm saying? Think about it. Even then, like, I already getting booked with the youngest. Like, the youngsters, like, in the L.E. Chaper and W.O.G. Like, I'm always in the mix anyway.
Starting point is 00:37:49 Like, so it's just like for me to be in a bliss situation like these. Anyway, I'm going to take advantage of it. And I appreciate you. for bringing me to the platform or no jumper, you know what I'm saying, to really, you know, put my talent in my, what I got going on display. Yeah. Quick question before we get up out of your, how was the Rock Nation meeting? I know you was leaving Florida to go down to Rock Nation.
Starting point is 00:38:14 What was that meeting like? Man, I went down there and met with Lester Pace, man, at the, at the, stank on your studios, man. And, you know what I'm saying? Me and him sitting out, he just put me on a lot of game, you know what I'm saying? and really told me, you know what I'm saying? Like, that's why I said, like, a lot of time, man, that's why I want to give my game.
Starting point is 00:38:35 Like, cause you don't get, like, you know what I said. I had to get it from somebody. You feel me? Like, ain't nobody give me no money or nothing like this. And I ain't got no sugar there. There's nothing like this, but. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:38:49 I came in the game. I want to ask for no handout. You know what I'm saying? That's all I asked for the knowledge. So, man, shout out Lester Pays, man. Man, you know what I'm saying? I try to shout out everybody who helped me along the way in. I ain't trying to still, like, shout out drummer boy, shout out ATL Jacob.
Starting point is 00:39:08 Like, all the people, all these different people that helped me along the journey and respect to me as an independent life. Well, I hope that we helped you here today, too. For sure, shout out no jump, shout out Shark Tank. Shout out the whole gang. Like, I made sure I do this, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. Yeah.
