Starting point is 00:00:00 Gabriel And we're back And Gabe walked off the set Where are you going? Where are you going? Do you have some water? It's not time for that It's time for Mad Latelynigh.
Starting point is 00:00:10 Water, Yuri. It's not time for water. It's time for Mad lately At 6 p.m. on no jumper. You're fucking right. He said they don't all this goddamn talking about last week. I'm thirsty.
Starting point is 00:00:21 Hey, thanks, Jerry. Welcome back. I'm Rosecransvik. I'm Gina Vuce. Gabe C. Hammer. Oh, I'm got some water. Oh, can I get one? Yeah, sure.
Starting point is 00:00:29 Shout to Yuri. thank you erie what's up with y'all how you're feeling sure i'm feeling good wonderful i feel like um we someone stole an hour from us so they did talk about it yeah they did they literally they literally they literally they did they did and they're listening and they're watching they're taking another hour too i always wonder if they can do that like how do we not know if they randomly just change the time and shit you know no yeah when i'm not looking who knows if they just skipped from three to four. You know, sometimes you'll be like, damn, it's so and such and such a clock already.
Starting point is 00:01:05 Like, would have just, I don't know if they just push some shit up 30 minutes or run it back 30 minutes. I could have sworn that California voted to like end this shit. Right? Right? That's what I thought. A few years ago, I was like, okay, yeah, we're done with that. And then it just keeps coming back every year. I thought we were supposed to stay here, whatever this is.
Starting point is 00:01:22 Yeah. Whatever it would just happen. Daylight savings. And then the other one is, I don't know. They didn't teach that shit. Fall back forward and spring. All I know is spring forward and fall back. See, I know March.
Starting point is 00:01:35 I'll go by March in November. October, I think. Hmm. Yeah. But yeah, I hate to. I've been so thrown off with my time. I swear to, like, it's just been, I was three hours ahead in Atlanta, and then the time changed while I'm out there.
Starting point is 00:01:51 Like, she was nuts. How was Atlanta? We'll get into it. Oh, we don't get into it. It was a lot. How's your week, though? I had a very adventurous week, actually. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:05 So y'all know after we left, we pulled up on Bravo. Bravo, Blueface and Drakeo video shoot, Draco wasn't there. Draco was supposed to be there. Drake was in Atlanta. Oh, and I freaking smoked that weed that JD gave us. Oh, that Zaza. Y'all, y'all know I've been asking, saying that I wanted to smoke some weed. Shout out to J.D.
Starting point is 00:02:28 I should have brought it. I still have so much left because I'm like a light smoker. They smoked a whole ounce during last week's show. Yeah, they smoked a lot. And they were still fucking cool. Like, I'm off one hit and I'm fucking tripping.
Starting point is 00:02:42 I was on the phone with DJ head. He didn't know how much. I hope he'll see this because I wanted to be disappointed me. But I'm high and shit on the phone with head. And I'm just talking, talking, talking, talking. But, yeah, I smoked some weed. Trum's next. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:57 Strums is definitely out. We're not, I'm not, no, Gabe already. You're saying that now. But Gabe already said that he's not fucking with it no more. So until we come back and you're going to take it with us. Hell no. We're going to do it together. Come back from here.
Starting point is 00:03:11 No, I told y'all I'll do an edible. Okay, edible. A mushroom endable. No, I didn't say that. I would do a wee edible. A smidget of it, like probably like the size of my name. Okay. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:03:22 That's cool. Yeah. And then we'll do the mushroom edible. A month after. Oh, God. But yeah, I'm working on something. Y'all know already. I'm not going to announce it publicly yet.
Starting point is 00:03:33 But in April, I'll circle back in April and let everybody know. Yeah. And shout out to y'all. You know, y'all did. We are like, you know, the alleyute, you know? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But, yeah, man. I wish we could talk about it, too, because that was such an iconic moment.
Starting point is 00:03:52 We could talk about that. Yeah, we can talk about that. Let's talk about it. Yeah, so basically we're at Bravo and Blueface's video shoot. We're chilling. And then a lot of people start to clear out. A lot of people start to leave. And then we're literally just standing there.
Starting point is 00:04:05 Like if we're like a thumbnail. Like we're just standing there like this. Like just all three of us was next to a car. Like just talking about something random. Just talking about whatever. And it was literally like we're with other homies, but we're literally just all standing next to each other. And then Blueface walks over to us.
Starting point is 00:04:19 And then he's like, what's up with the podcast, man? And we're like, hey, yo. What's up with the podcast, man? Like, yeah, what? We're like, what's that? We've been looking for you. Yeah. I know that ain't who I think it is
Starting point is 00:04:32 We've been looking for you Yeah, what's up with the interview? And I was like, holy shit Yeah. Yeah, that was cool. It's always cool, I feel like, And I think that's why we need to do more shit together Because people, when we go out,
Starting point is 00:04:46 like they already know us as individuals But when we go out and people know us as a group, like that's a great fucking feeling Especially somebody like blue face, you know. But yeah. Yeah, so hopefully he's on the show soon. Yeah. I don't know. He might have got Gina's number, so you let us know.
Starting point is 00:05:02 Something. Because I don't have, I don't have direct contact with him, you know. Do you, Gabe? No. I think Big J.O. Adam does. They'll set it up. They have direct contact with him. I have no idea what you're talking about. I do not have direct contact with that man.
Starting point is 00:05:20 That's just my baby, dad. Y'all should have seen Gina's face after he left. Oh, real last. She was glowing. she was glowing. That's my highlight from this fencing makeup. This is not an ad, but it can be. That's what that was.
Starting point is 00:05:36 Hey, you know, you said you wanted Christian. So I'm trying to figure out when y'all, everybody dipped out, was you trying to, like, slide in? I don't know what. No, I don't know what Blueface and those girls' relationship is. I'm going to just be a media. Mind my, my, my business and be a media person. They look kind of freaky, though. Blueface lives like a great life.
Starting point is 00:05:58 That's what I think. Is there any part of Blueface life that y'all would like take for? I mean, definitely rolling around with like two beautiful women at all times. And they're turned up. They're so turned up. Like you know, sometimes you see like people online and you think that like they just do that for the cameras. Yeah. They were just turned up.
Starting point is 00:06:22 They're like, what's up, Gina? What's up? They're turned up in real life. Yeah, that's what they came up to us. They're like, what's up with the podcast? When Krayshan gave us a group hug? Yeah. No, she swung her braids and hit all three of us.
Starting point is 00:06:34 Yeah, that's bad. I thought it only hit me. No, she's so nice, though. She's so nice. Yeah, she's cool as fun. Good energy. The other girl, we didn't really get to meet her. Or I didn't, but yeah, they seemed cool.
Starting point is 00:06:42 She did let me know that she saw that clip, though. Oh, what did you say? When I said, them bitches still they went home, they were grocery shopping at the studio and shit. They're the last two standing, but they still there. They're still there. I was watching. Oh, it was just Christian on birthday, too. Happy birthday.
Starting point is 00:06:59 Oh, yeah. Yeah. But I was watching her story. She was in the house. I've seen the bait shit in the background. Oh, yeah. Still ain't went home. She's still there.
Starting point is 00:07:08 She's ready for season two. She'll be there for season two. Hell yeah. What else happened this week for you? What else did I do? I had a photo shoot yesterday. I'm working on something else that I probably won't talk about until like this summer. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:21 There you go. But, yeah, I think that's all that I did. I went to the nail shop and stuff. if I got my little tweetie bird grabbers. Okay. This is not an ad, but it can be. I think, yeah, that's all I did. And shit, I was up late last night doing homework and shit.
Starting point is 00:07:38 I want to know what was Gabriel doing because you didn't have not respond to us all weekend. For real? Yeah. Oh, shit. He put the group chat on DVD. Wow. That's how he got out of C-Treaten us like side bitches. Wait, did I tell you what happened to my phone?
Starting point is 00:07:53 Yeah, that was like three episodes ago. Yeah, but, no, like two episodes. says ago, but it's still acting up. Like, I still can't, like, receive, like, messages. Oh, for real? Yeah, like, some of it comes in, like, very late. No, I'm serious. That's what I would say that too.
Starting point is 00:08:08 Sometimes I tell people like, oh, I didn't even get it. I don't know who got it, but I didn't get it. Or you just start to say, like, I got eye cloud issues and you just like, oh, for all, like, damn, that sounds serious, bro. Like, you should get that checked out. Dang, now it sounds like I'm capping. But in reality, my shit is, like, fucked up. Like, I'll show you my shit right now.
Starting point is 00:08:25 Like, it doesn't come, like, when people send the messages. And that's when you show it to somebody and then it acts normal. And you're like, it's not doing it right now. But it usually. Yeah, like, no, you should see it when it acts up. No, my phone, now, for the past few months,
Starting point is 00:08:42 I've been thinking this bitch is in my phone because we've had an experience with a popular rapper that we all know. I'll tell y'all off air. But the bitch hacked his phone. And I kind of got into it because he had called me and was like, hey, can you talk to your home girl, whatever, tell her, da-da-da-da. So when I got it, her, me and her got into it, whatever. Now I think the bitch in my phone.
Starting point is 00:09:03 What do you mean? No, I think the bitch is in my phone. So if anything happens, if y'all see anything get leaked or anything like that, it's a whole bitch in my phone. What do you mean by that? You can't hack an iPhone. I don't know where the bitch work. I don't know where she work.
Starting point is 00:09:18 I don't know what she do from when I was kicking it with her. She was giving me air-haired vibes. So maybe it was an act. I don't know. Well, how do you know she hacked into your phone, though? Okay, so I know that she was in my phone because of the same thing that I'm experiencing is what he was experiencing. So pretty much she was like sending screenshots of like his email, Uber receipts, text messages, DMs and shit. So whatever she did, she mirrored his phone onto another phone.
Starting point is 00:09:48 Oh, that is possible. I don't got notifications, but whatever she's doing. she's not using the iCloud so i don't got a hell of notification saying like oh um we we we sense suspicious activity on your twitter change your password oh or suspicious logins from instagram and shit like that so yeah i don't i don't throw my whole phone away honestly and start again i heard all she needed your phone number like that's because she he told me that she he made a new iCloud and all that and the bitch in a new phone so i don't know um but But going back to what you was talking about, my text messages have been showing up like I already read them.
Starting point is 00:10:30 So you know how like in your messages it have like the blue dot. Like when I go to when I go to my shit, it's showing that like I've already opened it. And it's like no, I didn't open it. But. Do you keep your phone like right next to where it's going to cap out a memory and you have to delete shit whenever you have to take photos or videos? No. Normally that's what happens. When it starts tripping, huh?
Starting point is 00:10:53 Yeah. Well, we all know that Apple start fucking your phone up. When the new phone about to come out. When the new update comes, it's like, no, rather than not take that route. Or when they want you to pay for more memory. Exactly. But mine, I got, what is it, 128 gigs. And I'm probably using like 50 gigabytes if that.
Starting point is 00:11:09 But I don't know. I don't know if the bitch in my phone. I don't know if it's Apple. I don't know. I'll just chunk it up so I'm going to put it in God's hands. It's above me. Whatever neck is getting leaked. It gets leaked.
Starting point is 00:11:18 Whatever text messages. I don't even store dudes under their real names no more. That's what a fuck. store it under something else. Domino's pizza. I don't want the bitch to come in, screen shot. Oh, cheese, I get it. Wow.
Starting point is 00:11:32 So you got someone looking for you, huh? Man, I got somebody looking for me. I got, wait, what did you save that person's phone under? An object. What, like, what? Don't say it. Because, I mean, nobody's going to know. No.
Starting point is 00:11:47 What is it? It's an object. I got a couple of apparatus. I was going to say that to. It's apparatus for sure. See, what colors the apparatus? I haven't explored that apparatus. Oh.
Starting point is 00:12:00 It's called Appi, too. Not the Appi. Hey. You coming over Appie? Y'all, look, so this dude I was talking to, he watched the episode. And there's somebody I was talking to a little bit. He watched the episode when we was talking about the apparatus. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:17 Dog. He's like, what's the apparatus? Like, I didn't catch you on. Even though y'all made it fucking obvious what I was talking about. He's like, oh, yeah, I didn't catch on. Like, I didn't know. So what was that for a minute? So I'm like, Doc, I don't know what them niggas was talking about.
Starting point is 00:12:31 They be high. They get off the shrooms and shit. Wow. You put that on me, too? I said, they be high. You're stupid. Y'all want to know what else fucking happened this week? What?
Starting point is 00:12:43 That song. Which one? That song. Mm-hmm. That my voice is in the beginning of. Mm-hmm. You know what I'm one of my favorite records? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:51 Yeah. It's not out there. But it's not to come out of it. going out when it comes out. Man, that motherfucker hit Instagram and my phone start booming. I was like, Instagram. I didn't even see it. The promo hit Instagram. It's supposed to come out tomorrow. And I'm like, so you know how it's another girl? Can you say what the song is? No, we can talk about on new music Monday next week. Okay. Man, my phone started booming and people start hearing like, is this you? Is this your voice? And then I'm like, I don't know what you're talking about.
Starting point is 00:13:21 Is this your first song? With your voice on it, like a first published record? No, I'm on Cash's. Y'all know Jason Cash? I'm on one of his projects. Affiliated? I don't know if it's affiliated. It came out 2017, maybe 2018.
Starting point is 00:13:38 But I'm, he has my voice on it, and it's like a call from Jill. Oh, shit. Somebody call him from Jill, or I called him from Jill. I forgot what the fuck it was, but, yeah. I've laid hella vocals before, so I got a lot of stuff. I did something where I sound like I'm on a radio. I forgot who shit it was. I did that exact thing so many freaking times too.
Starting point is 00:14:00 That's fine. No, I remember who it was. I was doing shout the nigga out. No free cloud. No free cloud. This is not an ad, but it can be. But yeah. Yeah, my voice on a couple, couple tracks.
Starting point is 00:14:12 So if y'all, you know, if y'all want to put me on there. Sounds right. You know, I'm trying to be on my DJ Callie shit. Gina is now booking. Now booking. Because that record that you're on that comes out next Monday, That's what I can talk about. It's pretty fire.
Starting point is 00:14:24 It's fire as far. And the intro is hard. Good shit, genius. Yeah. Go ahead. Stop playing. Hell yeah. So y'all can quit all your suspicions, too.
Starting point is 00:14:38 I'm still going to have them. I don't care what you say. I'm always suspicious. I got to keep my eyes like this. The thing about it is, y'all got my location. Oh, we do. Y'all have my location. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:54 So I'm not even hiding nothing from y'all. I'm only in one place all the time. By myself. Your phone is. Oh, wow. Have you been hurt before just said that? I have. But if I was cheating, I would leave my phone at home.
Starting point is 00:15:08 The same way if I would commit a murder, I'll leave it at home? Come on. But how are you? So y'all, y'all can get around without GPS? Yeah. Really? Yeah. Even like new pussy appointments?
Starting point is 00:15:18 I mean, not gay, but. I mean, okay, maybe if it's, If it's in the valley, then no, I'm going to be lost. But like, if it's in LA, I'm going to figure it out. Really? Okay. Okay. But this is my problem. You just going up to people door knocking on it and let them know you hear. You're not calling and say, I'm outside. Hmm, you could honk the horn.
Starting point is 00:15:35 You could. That's so old school. You could give an ETA. That's an old school. You could. You could. You could. So what if it's like a new location?
Starting point is 00:15:43 Like, if a girl just give you her address, how do you know how to get there? You ask me for the back streets? No, you know what? If I was really that sick, I would buy like an old, school GPS, attach it to my car, like the tom-toms, remember the old shit? You should sure have a GPS in that car, though? No, I don't. No?
Starting point is 00:16:03 Hell no. I don't. That new-ass car don't have a GPS in? No. I could. It's like, to me, it was like, this is not a luxury car, so I'm going to just keep it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, buy a Stimmy.
Starting point is 00:16:15 I mean, buy a GPS with that stimmy. I mean, yeah, I don't have anybody to cheat on, but yeah, like, if I did. I heard that. He had to go back to that. No. Just so we're clear. I don't need that. I don't need that because I'm not cheating.
Starting point is 00:16:29 I'm at home working on the show, babe. I'm doing my PR. What would you spend your stimmy on, Gabe? Remember how last time I talked about the stimmy and I said I was going to get Bitcoin? What's a problem? That shit doubled. It was a great investment.
Starting point is 00:16:46 Wait, tell the people what you really bought with your stuff. No, the first stimmy. The first stimmy, I went crazy, right? The first Emmy was the 12-hundo first time around, and that's when I went crazy. I went to Costco and saw a deal for Casador's tequila, a whole leader for $17 if you buy more than two, so I bought $30. I ran it up. 30. So that's when he came without embottos.
Starting point is 00:17:09 Yeah, he still has one. I still have them at home. And I helped my cousin out and gave him some for his wedding. He had like a backyard party. I got you. Like, we're all out of tequila. And I was like, I got you. But the second time around invested in Bitcoin was a great investment.
Starting point is 00:17:26 This time, hmm, I think I want to go a little, hmm. He about to go trick. Yeah, probably going to go into only fans. They're good, like a private stripper or something. Underground strip clubs. They're about to be overground because shit's opening back up. So you don't even got to be a freaking. private anymore.
Starting point is 00:17:53 You could be out and open, you know, walking. I'm surprised they didn't do the canopy in front of the strip club while in student. You know how all the diners did that? Like, just build a canopy. You're good. The strip clubs are the only ones. We're like, ah. Yo, I was eating chicken wings in a strip club.
Starting point is 00:18:15 And I was just thinking about how much I'm not afraid to die when that was happening. Why was it Why was you thinking? Why? How do we get here? Like because like it's just so like it's just so like I'm eating in an indoor place That is definitely not COVID friendly And that like Atlanta like never shut down
Starting point is 00:18:36 And I'm just like over there like fuck it I'm just eat in here While all this booty shaking is going on Nothing in and like in the back of your mind of my like I like I like granted I know that the virus is real people have life from And people are suffering from it right now But nothing about it like y'all don't think in the back of your head like, I'm not gonna get it.
Starting point is 00:18:54 That's me all the time. I'm just, I'm immune in my mind because I take ginger shots once in a while. Right, right. Once in a while. Yeah, so I think I'm immune. But, you know, whatever. No, real shit.
Starting point is 00:19:04 Because to me, it's like, just avoid getting a fucking cold. I think I had that shit about four or five times. Hey, did you see that postman said I couldn't smell or taste for a week, but I didn't say nothing. I didn't say shit. I just stayed at home.
Starting point is 00:19:18 Antibodies. Fucking smoke. Yeah. What else would you? doing. I didn't say shit. I sure think I had it. It would be like for two days, but then your shit would come back to normal and stuff.
Starting point is 00:19:30 But I know if I wasn't going to get tested, they're going to say positive. Yeah. For COVID. Let's take that clip and be like, Gina Burning. Gina burning. No. So is it true what they say about Hot Wings being the best, the best Hot Wings are in the strip club? Like, is that a mess?
Starting point is 00:19:51 No, the absolute best. What's so good about them now? Okay, just the chicken, like the way they seasoned and prepared everything, like in the South is just so much better, like a thousand times better, no exaggeration. I got lemon pepper and hot on my wings, like, both of them. I'm like, because I heard somebody else order it, I'm like, give me lemon pepper hot. And so they put the lemon pepper and it was hot, but it was like some different, like, it wasn't like buffalo sauce. You feel like me? Like we have buffalo sauce out here.
Starting point is 00:20:20 They just like dip it in the shit. It's like homemade. Delicious. Like, it was incredible. Did you trick out there? A little bit. Did you blow a bag? I didn't, but I met my soulmate.
Starting point is 00:20:34 Did you bring her back? No, dimples is still over there. Oh. Dimples is her name. Look, she's a beautiful young woman. Yeah, she had the triple BBL going on. I spotted her because we were like, we had our section, right? So I'm like, I look over there and I'm just like, oh my God, they grow so
Starting point is 00:20:51 beautiful. And then I tell the security, I'm like, hey, go call her over here. And then so she came. And then we're dancing. You know, she was dancing, whatever, throwing some money. And then we started talking. And then she was like, oh, I'm a writer. And I'm like, me too. Oh, my God. And then she was just like, yeah, like, I'm originally from Pennsylvania and all this stuff. And then we actually like, we got really cool. And I was telling her about the show. I was like, yo, you should watch it. Monday night, 6 p.m. Pacific. She said she was going to. We but my phone was dead. It sounds like I'm capping,
Starting point is 00:21:24 but my phone was completely dead. So, like, she was like, oh, follow me on Instagram. And I was just like, my phone is dead. I'm like, look. I had the homie pull up, like, my Instagram. I'm like, follow this when you get off work or something. I didn't know what to do. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:21:34 She didn't have her phone either. No, she's dancing. This sounds like Cinderella. It was. It was. She did have some glass heels on too. Yeah, yeah. She didn't drop it, bro.
Starting point is 00:21:47 Fuck. It would be this happens. Yeah. She was so bad. And yeah, she was like so nice. And then I know that she really liked me because the homie after she was done, like after I was done throwing money or whatever, the homie was like, hey, I want to dance too. And then she just looked at him and she's like, no, it's okay.
Starting point is 00:22:04 And then she walked out the section. I was like, that's my queen right there. Dimples. I got to go back and find her. That's what I'm going to stand. You didn't find her Instagram? No. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:22:16 I've been searching dimples all weekend, like with the Z. You post a go to the club Instagram. go to their tag photos. Come on, I'm a fed. Yeah. That's what I'm spending my stimmy on. Trying to get dimples out here away from that whole.
Starting point is 00:22:32 I'm just, I'm going to slide into DMs and like, I can take you away from all of this. You're not about to take her out of the club. Stimmy? You should go out there. I get double because I have a kid, so I get the double. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:22:45 Come on here and flex on us then. I could save you on your trouble past. She might be up at the next taping of the show. She might be sitting right over there on that couch. You never know. I take you getting somebody from Atlanta instead of where we're instead of Mexico. I like that. I hope this happens.
Starting point is 00:23:00 I hope she's watching. Y'all looking forward to dimples. On Instagram, Twitter, go follow him. Now I have to post on Craigslist like what is it? Miss connections. I'm like, hey, girl wearing a blue bathing suit like. Nobody like took no pictures or recording no videos. in there then? Why y'all was in there? No. My phone was completely
Starting point is 00:23:24 me and, yeah, me and B-Boy were there for seven hours. Did you just try to confirm? Did you try to confirm with yourself if you can say he was with you? Yeah, I think so. Anyway, we were at Blue Flame for seven hours. Like, we were at the studio before and then we're like, yeah, let's go get some food. And then so we're like, yeah, we want to go get wings and shit. And we saw like three shifts of dancers come on. So we're like the first ones were like, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:52 The second wave, I was like, yeah, yeah, they're bad. But like the best ones came at the end. We was like two in the morning. We're like, this is... This is it. This is the main event right here. Dimples was part of the main event. You know what you got to do. You got to post, clip, clip this. Post this clip on Twitter and say Twitter do y'all thing.
Starting point is 00:24:10 Find Dimples at Blue Flame. Yeah, ATIA. Yeah. That's you got to do. We're going to find her. They're going to find her. Someone's going to send you her only fans. There's still hope. She really liked me for me. You don't understand. It's not a real connection.
Starting point is 00:24:25 It's all a part of the act. She was in character. She don't know how to write at all. That's what she says to everybody. What kind of writer was she told when she's like? She says she writes novels and music. Oh, really? She was a sweet girl.
Starting point is 00:24:39 Did you tell her what you do? Yeah. Okay. That's what I'm saying. I like that. Novels and music. Novels and music. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:46 I'll take her away from all of that. Yeah. You know what are you spending your stem y'all? I'm gonna buy the block back. The whole block? Y'all been seeing them memes? Yeah. Somebody said 1400 in my account, me and chick flail to somebody.
Starting point is 00:25:04 Open his shit up. On Sunday? What about the one was like, when you're at Target? I would like to get the big dodge ball outside, please. No, did y'all see the one when they had the dog in the car? Taking the dog outside? It was one with a cat. It said, I just named this motherfucker
Starting point is 00:25:24 Stimothy. But the cat had tiger print all over. No, I'm not doing nothing with it, though. I'm going to just talk that shit in my savings. Hopefully it goes towards. I don't have nothing to do with it, though. You could fly yourself out to Cabo or something. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:25:42 I could. I could. I could. But I might need to save it for a rainy day. day. I got high-ass rent. I've seen a post that said, it said $1,400, they're going to cover nothing. That's not even half my rent.
Starting point is 00:25:55 And people in the common saying, well, bitch, pay have your rent? No, yeah. I don't know. I'm excited. Mine lands on Wednesday, so if y'all see me acting brand new, just no. No, loki, I already spent my stimmy. I'm not going to lie.
Starting point is 00:26:10 How the fuck was everybody getting so early? I don't know. They got the whole world checking their bank account this whole weekend. About that hour. Like, is it in it? Is it in yet? That picture, young thug, when he in front of the crew, you're like that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Oh, a dirt. It's at me every, uh, every 10 minutes. Oh, God. Yeah, no, it was, um, yeah, I spent my shit. I was so glad when I seen how much we're getting, I'm like, that's, I literally just spent that. So I'm getting it back. Look, you feel me? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:26:36 Had to get a little. Okay. Oh, I saw that. Cut that at the icebox. At icebox. Shout out to good people at Icebox. Shout out, Will, he'll get you right. Come on.
Starting point is 00:26:45 I need a drip. You are. I might go buy some jerry then. They got some ghetto ass big earrings. I need some big ass gout earrings. Get a gene of use chain. That'll be hard. Like them icy ones they'd be having?
Starting point is 00:26:57 I'm gonna need a couple stimmies for that. Yeah. You put the down payment. Put the down payment. Put on a little way. On God. Make payments. Yeah, but, yeah, Atlanta was fun.
Starting point is 00:27:09 I was out there since Thursday. I missed my flight over there, which is very typical of me. It's probably like the fourth flight I've missed. And then it was fucked up because like we're going out there for work. So like me and Cali got our trips paid. But like we had to pay out of our own pocket at that point because they're like, no, you missed your flight. You get on this flight for $300.
Starting point is 00:27:34 I was like, fuck. Wait. So if you miss your flight, that's it. Not always. That's the first time I had to pay. Usually, oh, they said that I could be on standby if I didn't want to pay anything. but like I was like how long is that going to be you feel me like I had to get there already are the airplanes that it's still like empty on the inside like a couple people they're
Starting point is 00:27:53 they were all full yeah they were all full so shit really back to regular it's so back to regular my son went back to school today he does do they have to wear masks they have to wear masks in school yeah and they have like dividers and shit like what yeah they can't have recess either it's kind of weird so they get out early mm-hmm so they got the plastic plexi wall glass yeah all All that shit. With each student. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:16 Shit's really going back to normal. I just saw a flyer festival today. For what? Out in Salt Lake, like, Hyde Music Festival, Draco and Ogezier performing. It was hard.
Starting point is 00:28:27 Hopefully South by Southwest was like. Oh, that's not until next March, so, because they're doing it virtually, I think, like today. So it's been, because last year,
Starting point is 00:28:36 South by Southwest was canceled because of pandemic. And so it's been officially a year, huh? Yeah. Since like today, huh, probably? Yeah, a few days ago, I think
Starting point is 00:28:45 That shit is crazy I think it was the 1 year anniversary Last year they had us I thought it was gonna be like Marshall Law Burr box like if I open the doors It's gonna be sirens and shit I thought people were just gonna be like
Starting point is 00:28:55 Falling dead in the street Yeah I got it They had They had people at the grocery store Buying out of fucking soap and toilet paper and paper towels and shit Everybody's wiping down like
Starting point is 00:29:09 Their grocery their cereal boxes I'm like y'all are tripping Yeah That was too much Man, I was making my, leaving my Amazon boxes at the door for an hour letting them air up. Yeah, we just started creating all these stupid ass rules. Like, hey, don't touch that. They just put it down.
Starting point is 00:29:23 He's the sanitized wipes. Walk down the pizza box. People coming to me like, what's that? I'm like, hey. Yeah. Like, no, I just started doing like, hey, what's my name? Hey, you. Hey, you.
Starting point is 00:29:35 Good old, big. Man, they had us scared as fuck a year ago. Often just for them to come up with these vaccines. and now supposedly they like killing people and shit I'm not taking it yes you are are we allowed to do it I'm not you are though I'm no you can say it no but like we're all gonna eventually have to take it eventually but because it's like if they're there I'm sure they're gonna make it that like we can't board flights we can't do that if we don't take it can't go to concerts festivals
Starting point is 00:30:01 and shit so we're just gonna have to take it yeah I'm scared of it though yeah you take it yeah it's gonna get to the level we're like fucking with it my mama took it. She's in the hospital today. Really? Yeah. All bullshit's talking it? No, it was probably like four days later or something like that. She said she felt. Hey man. And they keep meking this shit hard to get.
Starting point is 00:30:28 The foods are going to be selling it out of their trunks. They're like, hey, boy, you need that. Yeah. I got the second shot if you need it. They got me telling the verification. People are already doing that. Yeah. No, but for sure, like, yeah, people are going to start bull-legging the shit.
Starting point is 00:30:43 Nurses are going to back the door. Dog, I'm scared. For sure, back door, like, hey, what's up? 1400. Yeah. I got the Johnson Johnson and Johnson. I got to answer Johnson for you. Like, Johnson got to Jackson.
Starting point is 00:30:54 It was sure, wrong. No, I'm scared. Just come to my car real quick. I'm going to just lace you up. I'm scared they going to give me the shit. So one time I went to, you know, y'all got to, uh, wherever the fuck you go during flu season. They asked you, wherever the fuck you are.
Starting point is 00:31:08 They asked you 15 fucking times. I went to Kaiser because I had a car accident. Mm-hmm. I walk up to check in. they need the flu shot no thank you go to the back to check in with the nurse not even a doctor yet you need the flu shot no thank you yeah doctor coming there you need the flu shot no motherfucker they're selling it like candy like you know like you want to support my basketball team you're like what leave it's just get on the way on the way on the way i left out to get you know the nurse
Starting point is 00:31:35 give you your paperwork and stuff you sure you don't want the flu shot no bitch like it's just the way they just so thirsty to give it to you like the shit scares me like it's too much. That's why I never got it. You never have a foot shot? You've got the full shot? He like, yeah. He like, he like, he like,
Starting point is 00:31:53 he like, this shot last motherfucker week. I'm going to see some papers. It's like, funny thing is. I have it on my shots. Hey, you know, you know, when you're checking to school, they ask for your vaccines. Yeah. Josh and be like, yeah, I don't know if y'all,
Starting point is 00:32:05 we don't need y'all need y'all vaccinations. Y'all, y'all motherfuckers got measles. I know. You got the hepatitis B and A? I don't know what none of those like I'm just like it's hit me as long as it's not like hit me like as long as it's not like the flu shit is optional you know what I mean so it's like everything else I'm just like running out of veins or I put them between my toes bro like we're good you feel me I'm not fucking with it last time I went to the doctor they had me thinking I had
Starting point is 00:32:34 cancer for 30 days came back and they said my bad shut the fuck hell yeah I'm nervous and I'm crying and shit. They really told you that? 30 days? They said we think we might need to run some tests, but it was like 30 days for me to come back. You know, Kaiser, like, you can't get a fucking appointment. At all.
Starting point is 00:32:52 But it took 30 days for me to go back. And I'm like, hold the fuck up. What you mean, my bad? You can't just say no shit like that. Like, I need a check for my pain and suffering. Pain and suffering. Because I've been sad as fuck for the past 30 days. And y'all don't say, oh, sis.
Starting point is 00:33:10 We fucked up. Yeah, we were just playing. It was a joke. About that. I did all my bucket list. I completed all the fucking checklist. Yeah. Do you have a bucket list?
Starting point is 00:33:22 Skydiving. I don't want to skydiving when I'm old. I want to smoke a blunt with Snoop. That would probably make me really happy before I die. Yeah. Hmm. I don't think I have a bucket list yet. I got a lot of shit I haven't done that I know I need to do before I get in a relationship.
Starting point is 00:33:35 Are any people on your bucket list? Yes. Name them. No. We might be able to seal the bucket very soon. I'm going to lie. Adam spoke up something before. We're not going to talk about it.
Starting point is 00:33:51 You know what? Yeah. Yeah. Go back and watch episode. No. He doesn't spoke something up before, but no. Did you all watch the Grammys? Parts and pieces.
Starting point is 00:34:06 Ish. Y'all seen it on Twitter. You know, they say every year the Grammys are horrible, but I heard, well, from what I'm seeing from the highlights, it looks like it was actually a good show per se, but. No, they definitely, this was, I don't
Starting point is 00:34:21 watch the Grammys that much, like, I'll catch the recaps or whatever, like, look at who won the shit, but this was by far the best one I've ever seen. Like, they had to really get creative because they didn't have just, like, the setup that they usually do, so they did like an outside little patio
Starting point is 00:34:36 thing as far as, like, the presentation of the award, super small. It seemed like only Jay-Z, Meg, Doja Cat. Like only like the six people that were actually going to win anything were there in the audience. And then as far as the performances, like they were fucking dope. Like they really hit like when I seen the first one that stands out to me is little babies. Like they went full movie production with the shit for the bigger picture.
Starting point is 00:35:02 I like how they opened up with the black activist that we saw going viral on Twitter. I believe her name is Tamika. Oh yeah. Yeah. But also I don't know if anybody. people they had um the guy's name is kendrick something but he was on insecure um the guy that like was from texas or whatever so he also was like physically attacked by the police during like the whole like you know like everything that was happening last march right so um he was actually one of the people
Starting point is 00:35:31 that got out of the car at first and was like pushed down by like the cops and then like was like shot like for the performance or whatever so i was like oh damn they actually got like a real actor and somebody who really went through this shit you know what I mean it was that detailed and like you said they had um activists and just like the whole premise of it was super dope and they had like killer mic at the end it was it was incredible I'm enjoying these award shows their creativity and how they're making it work and honestly the performances look better because we're not at the we're watching it on TV so it's the same thing for us rather you know the world was open or you know it wasn't but they're getting really fucking creative and
Starting point is 00:36:10 performances are starting to look like motion pictures like and i love it because it's so love it it reminded me of like you remember when death row came out at the like 95 source awards and they like let them all out of the the um the prison cells and then eventually they brought snoop out on the gurney and they had to like take them off like that was fucking created yeah you know what I mean it's like let's get back to that and i feel like this time it did like doja cat's performance was incredible. Who else performed? Bruno.
Starting point is 00:36:42 Bruno Mars and Annamp. That shit was tied to. I was like stars. Meg and Cardi B. They had like crazy visuals. And then they were dancing doing all types of choreography. The baby shit. Even Post Malone had a really dope performance.
Starting point is 00:36:56 And they didn't do too much. Like they just did like one song each. And I thought that was dope because sometimes they'll like have like Adele sing like six songs. And I'm just like, fuck. Put me to change the channel. Yeah. Like we fucking get it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:10 You know what I mean? And I don't think Taylor Swift performed, so that was great. And it was, yeah, it was good. What the fuck. And Billy, and a lot of LA people won or participated, right? Billy Eilish, she's from L.A. I don't know if a lot of people know that. She's from Highland Park.
Starting point is 00:37:26 Doja Cat also from L.A. She won. Janay. She didn't win, but she still presented. Yeah, she presented. That was big just to see her on there, like on stage. Hit Boy won. Hip Boy.
Starting point is 00:37:36 Roddy. was, he performed twice. He performed his own shit. He performed a new song and then Givion. Yeah, Givion as well. I was just like, man. And even aside from that,
Starting point is 00:37:47 like hip hop really took over the Grammys. That's what was so beautiful. Like, it's really official. Like, this year sealed it. That's what was so beautiful as seeing that because we've heard over the years people want to boycott the Grammys. And I just seen a speech that Diddy did.
Starting point is 00:38:00 I don't know what year was, but we both posted and it seemed like they heard him. Yeah. Like, you know, and like you said, it seemed like hip hop. fucking took over. We saw a lot of black acts either nominated winners or performers. Yeah. Or announcers. Like, I think that was cool as fuck. Yeah. And I think there was a, um, the head of the academy. He did like a like a PSA almost like he did like an announcement. It was like
Starting point is 00:38:22 a minute or too long like a monologue and he was talking about what everybody says. Like I know we get criticized a lot. But just so you know, I'm like now the head of the academy and we're working. And he's like instead of working against us, work with us. Like, if you're involved in the music industry, join the academy. You know what I mean? Like, be a part of this shit instead of complaining about it. If you have a, like, I mean, there's certain criteria you have to meet, but like, eventually I'm sure we can, like, literally have a Grammy vote. So more people like us in there is going to get the shit right.
Starting point is 00:38:54 You know what I mean? Or at least just get more of the right people involved. So it was pretty dope to see. More people of the pop culture and not that just have kids who like the pop culture. Exactly. I don't be fucking knowing anything. at all. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:06 Like, remember when that dude that, like, played the flute, beat Kanye's, like, Dark Twisted Fantasy or something like that? I forgot his name, but it was just, like, some guy, like, his whole album was just, like, him playing instruments. Like, I was like, da, this better than Kanye? Who was really, like, pulling that shit up? Like, yo, this shit slaps. Like, you hear him play the fucking, the bazooka or whatever.
Starting point is 00:39:25 What did Iggy win at here? Oh, yeah, when, I don't know, she, won against somebody. Best new artist or something like that? It was, the song, Fancy was a great fucking song. Yeah. Don't get me wrong. But. I forget who she.
Starting point is 00:39:36 Shout to ski. I want to say it was like out of her and like Maclemore and then somebody else who like should have won. But it was just all fucked up. Well, speaking of that. And then Billy Elish, she won, was it record of the year. And then she wanted to give it to Meg. She wanted to give it to Meg. She's like, honestly, I didn't think I was going to win.
Starting point is 00:39:58 She's like, and I'm just, I want to give my word to you, Meg. And like, that was super dope for her to show love and just didn't. make it about herself at all. She literally like completely switched it over and Meg won big too. She won about three Grammys, right? Or she's three Grammys in general. Yeah. And then Beyonce broke the record for most Grammys of all time. That's crazy. She had like 28. And I know she about to get another one because I know she about to do another album. Yeah, probably won the world open back up. She has 28. That's crazy as yeah. Jay Z has 22. And Blue 1-1. Blue Ivy Carter won a Grammy. What is my son doing right now? I swear to God.
Starting point is 00:40:35 Night. He's playing Fortnite. They don't give out Grammys for Fortnite. I mean, not yet. He's in so much trouble, I know. I can't wait to tell you what I'm laughing at. What record was it for? What did Lou win? I think she had like vocals on one of, one of like Beyonce songs, if I'm not mistaken. She did. She did, right? Yeah. Hell yeah. Did y'all see the Twitter thread of all of the celebrities who have not won Grammys yet? that people feel like they should. It started off with Nicky Minaj.
Starting point is 00:41:10 Never won? Yeah. So I thought Nikki had a Grammy already. I don't know why I, I just thought she had a Grammy. I know she got a lot of fucking BET Awards. Yeah. I used to work at Stable Center though,
Starting point is 00:41:22 so I've been to hell of award shows and shit and seen her. And, you know, for whatever reason, shit, I thought she had a Grammy already. But it was like, it had like Tupac, Snoop, Biggie. Nause won his first one yesterday. Yeah, his first one.
Starting point is 00:41:37 Like for whatever, it's just certain people that you think already. Yeah. When a Grammy conversation come up and you know, you look up to these people that you just automatically think like, oh, they have a Grammy already. Yeah. They don't and that's a little crazy. But it was a whole list of people who didn't have one. Yeah. I can't think everybody right now. Yeah. But shit, I think it's time to bring our guests on. Mm-hmm. We get inhale over here. Yeah, my dog. Inhale. A special West Coast tribute. The next episode. Here. My boy.
Starting point is 00:42:17 What's the deal? What's the deal? Yeah. What's going on with you? Yeah. Yes, sir. What's the deal, bro? How's good?
Starting point is 00:42:24 How are you feeling? Good, good. How y'all feeling? Good. Solid. We're good, man. Yeah. Congratulations.
Starting point is 00:42:32 Appreciate it. The project is out now. Let's talk a little closer. Let me try. I go get that. Yep. Next episode out now. The next episode.
Starting point is 00:42:39 So, for those who don't know, Inhale is Nate Doc's son. And recently started. to making music as well really dope has that same like i don't even know how to call like it's not the same exact voice but it's like very close same tone there goes same tone as as nate dog and you can just hear like it's a it's a new version of it basically you know what i mean and it's all natural like he's not doing a nate dog impression you know what i mean so for sure um yeah tell us about the project and you know just the inspiration behind it uh well yeah i got some 11 track
Starting point is 00:43:15 out now I got Corrup on there feature with Larry June if you're fire yeah yeah I got a glasses Malone on there I got a track with um that battle cap produce on there too oh shit that's legendary shut up I tried to give like a few different vibes on there so I also got some shit like more for like my you know the younger crowd as far as like the sound but tap into that man you can see what I'm talking about hell yeah what made you sound change up the sound and stuff because you were doing a different type of style before? Only people like, you know that, but...
Starting point is 00:43:50 We're too tapped in. When did we do that interview? It was probably like 20, 15 or something. Y'all think you were still playing football. So that was more of like my generation, what they're doing now. So more of like I ain't going to, you know, just what's going on now. But I figured if I was going to really take it serious, like, what people would expect from me.
Starting point is 00:44:15 So I just kept it more like organic and what I come from rather than trying to keep up with my own wave, because eventually we're gonna get to this. Exactly. Yeah. The real always come back. Yeah. Wait, so how long have you been doing music for?
Starting point is 00:44:30 For a long time. I just started dropping a year ago. I probably been making music since like 2012. Just trying to perfect the sound pretty much? Yeah, so when I was in college, I had it in my dorm, a little dorm set up. So everybody kind of my dorm and shit when they went to record.
Starting point is 00:44:43 shit so. What college you go to Washington? You the. Oh, dope. How was that being like at a, like a D1 school, like a major, major institution and having, like, because you've been popular. Like, if anybody from L.A., you know, knows, like, people, like, we've known about you since you were a kid.
Starting point is 00:45:05 Like, you know what I mean? It's like, oh, Nate Dogg has a son. Like, he'd be around, you know what I mean? Like that, you know? Yeah. He'd be around and he close. He reached. He assess.
Starting point is 00:45:13 We got mutual friends Yeah, that's what I mean Yeah So what was it like You know, being on campus And like doing, you know, your football thing But also being just like Very popular
Starting point is 00:45:24 And people knowing kind of like who you were Son of a legend I felt like a normal kid Like always That's something that my parents did good with me They always made sure Like I did shit that normal kids did So like if y'all like
Starting point is 00:45:36 No, at school If the kids had money You know to get lunch I had the same amount of money as them I didn't pull out of water walk like you know some crazy kids shit like nowadays you know it probably would have been different because that's what's like normal but i was on some normal kids they kept you humble yeah for sure the kids nowadays probably got debit cards yeah cash app cards yeah the uber accounts everything
Starting point is 00:45:58 yeah sure that and was it ever like a thing where like people treated you differently after they found out that like you were nate dog son um like they wouldn't fuck with you and then the next day They probably had like a way of treating me before they made me, like knowing that I was Nate Dogg's son. But after seeing it, like, I'm cool. Like, you know, just like them, it was like, oh, like, you know, they could have took a lot of ways, you know. Yeah. What about, like, when you're going to, like, like, lower levels of school, like, elementary and stuff like that, where you like, yo, Nate Dogg's my dad. Did you know?
Starting point is 00:46:35 Like, I don't know, because if I had a famous dad, I might have been, like, tying the bandana just like Nate Dogg going to school. like bring it for career yeah yeah just like what's up you guys hear that song on the radio it's my shit it's crazy though because i always thought like that was normal like i thought like yo pops probably looked like that as a kid you know like all y'all daddies was doing that everybody was making music at that time so yeah it didn't really like instilling me until i got older like oh shit like maybe like even when he passed like oh this shit was like bigger than i i could even like you feel me because yeah it was like so close so i didn't really you know get to see it but yeah at what age did you realize
Starting point is 00:47:10 his legendary status. Like, when did you know, like, oh, shit, like, Nate Dogg. Like, you knew that's your daddy, but Nate Dog is my daddy. Yeah, probably once again when he passed. Like, seeing, like, you know, like, seeing, like, the love coming from, like, so many places, that shit was, like, damn. That shit was, like, damn.
Starting point is 00:47:26 And I was still young. So as I'm growing, like, I still, you know, learn that shit like, oh, like, damn, you know. Yeah, that's a trip. So it's been 10 years since he passed today. Today's literally the day. Mm-hmm. What was it like, I guess, like, when you heard the news?
Starting point is 00:47:44 Oh, shit. I don't, I can't recall. I was like, young as hell. Yeah. I didn't think it was real. Mm-hmm. Like, I thought, like, somebody fucking with me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:54 You know, shit like that. Yeah. That's crazy. And then so, as far as, like, now with putting out the music, like, on this day, I feel like that's super dope that like we all get like a chance to celebrate, you know, like his music, his impact and everything. And then we get, you know, the next best thing. It's like, okay, now, and we can hear like, this is like new G-Funk damn near. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:48:22 For sure. New vibes. Was that important to you? Did you like have the project ready and you're like, wait, no, I need to specifically drop it on this day? Yeah, that was like the main thing around it. Yeah. Because usually like on this day people like, you know, you. you post throwbacks or like old stuff that's like 10 years ago, like you said.
Starting point is 00:48:40 So it's just getting older. So 15, 20 years from now, the kids probably have no idea, you know, what that is or what, you know, like what? You know, so I think it's important that I stick to not the, not that sound, but I just keep creating music. Keep that essence a lot. Yeah, so I just keep doing what I'm doing. Did you use any samples from him or pull from like tapping on any producers from back then? Not no samples, but I have Battlecat on there. But, yeah, that shit just blow my mind because that's a legend of me.
Starting point is 00:49:12 So the fact that I got the track with him is like, shit. I didn't make it, but that's big to me. But I got samples and shit like that and cut. It's just when the time is right, I want to touch shit like that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because, you know, it's a legacy I'm, you know, touching on. Did you and Battlecat have a studio session together, or did y'all send the tracks over?
Starting point is 00:49:31 No, we yet, he even had that. He was on Instagram Live and always tap in, like, on his live. I'd be up, he'd be up on that shit like late. So I tap in and tell him like, damn, it's rocking. So I did it one time. He's like, nephew, what's your email? I'm going to see you this one over. I sent my email to him and he sent me like as soon as you got off live.
Starting point is 00:49:49 I'm like, oh, yeah, I'm blessing this. That's fine. That's fire. So how do you feel about when, like, people, you know, like Thai dollar sign, people have compared them to Nate Dogg now like with Blass. How does that feel? Is it like, because personally, I mean, I know you're going to feel differently because, you know, that's your dad.
Starting point is 00:50:07 But I think that's the highest compliment you can give to an artist that like to compare him to Nate Doug. Because I think he's up here. And if anybody even mentions like, oh, he kind of sounds like Nate Doug or he's maybe like the new Nate Doug. Like that's like a super high honor for that artist. I get him boys. They credit for sure.
Starting point is 00:50:25 I like to leave that stuff to, you know, the listeners. Like so you, you know, that's good for you to feel. You know, however the people feel. I don't got too much of opinion on that. I salute them for keeping, you know, the name, you know, what, you know, in the surface. Yeah. You know, it's more to it when you say that. It's dope, though.
Starting point is 00:50:45 It's real dope, and it's nothing against them. So, you know, because it's my pops. But then again, I could imagine what it's like if people got their sound from that or, you know, looked up to that. That's where they, that's who made them want to make music. So it's just kind of bad to me, but it's good. What do you think about that? Because we do see that often. that when people say like, I mean, like I said, I just think it's a super high compliment and it's always premature, obviously, because Nate Dog did so much, like, not only for the West Coast, but like he really broke, like New York artists, South artists. Like, he gave them, like, my thing is, if anybody would want to be that, I think they wouldn't. Well, if anybody could do what you're saying, they wouldn't want to be Nate Dog. It's like the Nipsey Hust will affect. He didn't want to be compared to Snoop Dog. He wanted to do what he wanted to do.
Starting point is 00:51:35 or else you know he wouldn't have his own you know so but but then boys like i said they got their own legacies are what they will they have they will have they own legacy so i look at it as more of a salute that they give in they like tippin they had to oh for you know forgive yeah it's coming from a loving not for sure and you know when i speak on that it's all sometimes it's emotion it's what it is but i got relationships with blast i didn't spoke with tauta sign before so it's never another person even snoop like i just speak from where i speak from sometimes. I think the better phrase would be their this generation's yeah Nate dog instead of saying the new Nate dog you know like I like he said it's
Starting point is 00:52:13 premature we can kind of just give that give that sound to us like Nate dog kind of like gave us our sound when it comes to like the melodic sounds and that's the case we all knew Nate dogs you know because that's exactly yeah that's the lesson and rapping yeah so he was the first one to sing rap shit right like nobody else was like singing like Like soulful Leave your number On the cabinet
Starting point is 00:52:36 Yeah I have respectful You're like this is all shit like that Now I take it all bad It's too How he's so great Is that how he was like rapping shit like that
Starting point is 00:52:49 On some gangst shit Yeah That's why it was so cool On a gangster trap I don't feel like The newer people are You know per se Those two people
Starting point is 00:52:57 Yeah they're singing love songs Yeah Tanya Blast is singing and love songs, you know? For sure that. Naidog was on some, like... What does Salas say today? He was like, he was singing, but he'll shoot you.
Starting point is 00:53:10 Yeah. He got to like that. And maybe, that's like where I'd be speaking from when I kind of don't agree because it's like, man, like, maybe the singing is kind of mixed up because he kept his strap on him. You know, like he was, you know, he was real mellow, you know, to itself. And the girls liked the fact that he would tell you, he'd do some freaky stuff to you. And he just said it, you know, the right way.
Starting point is 00:53:40 So it wasn't like he was really saying something that they could agree with. It was something that they usually would. If I told you this and I wasn't saying how he said that you wouldn't agree with me or you were looking like I'm crazy. But he sung it in a way that like they, you know, they felt it. So it's like, that's the only thing I don't think is still like it's going on now. The girls are like, name, doc, tell me again how you don't respect me? Yeah, you know, and I think that's what a real, like, you know, like a real, you know, player stuff come in.
Starting point is 00:54:07 Yeah, just keeping it a thousand. Yeah. And they like that. That's what they respect more. Yeah. Yeah, they're their all individuals. But we just say it in the way where it's just like you're pushing the L.A., solidify the L.A. sound where you could push it globally and then, oh shit, that's, that's L.A. That's a good representation. Yep.
Starting point is 00:54:25 And that's what I like. Like when, you know, how Detroit got their sound or, you know, New York, whatever. when you say LA you can mention blast tight out of sign yeah you know yeah and when you mention Nate dog you can also I like it it's a compliment it keeps the legacy going to you know absolutely because I mean think about like when pop smoke came out right people are saying like oh he's like the new 50 yeah right because 50 is so great and such like an icon that you almost don't even look at him like a real person anymore like he's just like over there like you know what I mean like so people saying that he was like the new 50 cent was like such a compliment
Starting point is 00:55:00 And then 50 when it worked with him. Yeah, and trying to give that essence back. Yeah, and he co-signed it too. Co-signed. Yeah. Actually, he's like, he is the new 50. Let me go work with him type of shit. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:55:09 And even when like people say like, oh, you know, when there was like a period of time where people are like, oh, mustard is like the new Dre. It's just like that they're so legendary. They're trying to like paint a picture and like, yo, this is what I think he could be. But not really because he's so like this artist is so far up here. Because they're not there yet. Yeah. It's aspirational.
Starting point is 00:55:31 Yeah, uh-huh. But that's why I feel it's just like it's what they did for them is what they're doing for us, you know? Yeah, for sure. Because it would never be another. No, ever, for sure. And it might not never be another to them. It might never be another mustard.
Starting point is 00:55:45 It might not never be another blast or tie. You know, everybody's their own unique individual. Just like Jordan and Kobe. They were like, oh, Kobe's the next Jordan. And eventually Kobe just became Kobe. Exactly. You know. Inspired by Jordan.
Starting point is 00:55:56 Inspired by. And let that be known. He was inspired by Jordan coming out too. Yeah. It'd be like that. Down to the T? Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:04 Speaking of that, though, do you listen to, like, any of this new, like, these new LA artists, like, aside from Blasty? Mm-hmm. I was going to say Blast, but. Kalen, just dropped a new project. Yeah. Yeah, Kayling got some smashes. That scoring is a banger. Scoring.
Starting point is 00:56:20 Mm-hmm. That project, I played it front to back. That shit is fire. That's a fire-ass product. That's a great debut album. What's crazy about Kayling is, I went to high school. him so he was making music in high school and we was on that shit like that's a trick I was like oh yeah he's he was rapping rap he was playing football too so he wasn't really you know pushing the music
Starting point is 00:56:40 thing but when he like full-fledged got music I'm like oh yeah he got he been like he had it so every guest that we've had on the show played football together apparently so you most definitely play pop Warner yeah who did you play for on the promoter Steelers and the Compton Vikings I played for the I didn't play I tear for the Vikings We had a good cheer team. Yeah. Uh-huh. You're a cheerleader?
Starting point is 00:57:06 You're a cheerleader? What? In Pop Warner. That's how I know a lot of the like, you know. That's how I know a lot of them people too. Shout it to Snoop. For sure that. Snoop took a lot of us into,
Starting point is 00:57:18 now I ain't going to say off the streets because we went on the streets. We was kids, but we had something to do after school. Go to cheerleading football practice. Got them games on Saturday. The games take up our whole freaking day from morning to. From morning to the evening. That's important just keeping kids busy. That's literally one of the most important things you could do.
Starting point is 00:57:34 Yeah, shout out to Uncle Snoop for doing that. That's important. I know he watches the show. For the youth. For the kids. I'm going to say that everybody watches this show until I'm sure that they don't. He's not. He's doing.
Starting point is 00:57:45 He does. He does for show. Oh, yeah. Shout Uncle Snoop. Snoop. He's going to watch it. But we keep hearing that people watching it if people tap it in. Yeah, they just don't comment.
Starting point is 00:57:55 They don't comment. They don't post it or nothing. But you send them like, oh, I see your shit. Hey. I think that's kind of LA for you on the lowest key. Like we all see what's going on. Some people tap in some people.
Starting point is 00:58:06 Some people don't. From a distance. Yeah, they know what's going on with you. It's like, yeah. When you see them, they know exactly what's going on. That truth me out when people like will reference an episode and shit.
Starting point is 00:58:16 Yeah. And I'm like, nonchalant too. Yeah. You just watch the whole shit. You saw me? Yeah. You see me? I see an episode that y'all had a black Superman on here.
Starting point is 00:58:27 And he gave him some shrews or something. Yeah, Slink. I was, black Jesus. My bad, my bad. My bad, my bad, my bad. But when he said that, I was imagining slink with a black Jesus shit on with a capeaw. I just imagine him flying through the air as Jesus like this. I see, man, he's like, give me the whole shit.
Starting point is 00:58:51 I was like, you know if you see him like, man, he's about to eat it. Oh, wow. He was like, get me the shrooms, motherfuck. Game. for none of us no more. After that day, he went too hard, he said. It is what it is. Look, they don't even carry a backpack no more.
Starting point is 00:59:04 He just comes by it like, metal. He just comes up in. He's not. You know, I probably would. You're like, let me put these money. You never know what's. People come up here asking for. What's in that pocket right there?
Starting point is 00:59:18 It's my last sack, bro. So any new artist catching your ear that's kind of like pushing the G-Funk sound? I know there was like a crazy argument on Twitter saying that like the G-funk the G-funk era sound isn't being pushed from like LA That's true Is it anybody else you're saying? Mm-hmm My gender that I can think of? You just did a song with doggy style right? Oh yeah my bad shout out doggy style. Yeah, doggy style for sure
Starting point is 00:59:52 Yeah, mm-hmm, that's my boy out there in an i. Yeah Sam bernadino real player with it too man and And it's so organic, so I think that's why it's taking a minute for him to really, you know, grow how he's going to grow. Because that G-Fung shit, you can't put it on. So a lot of people maybe tried to put it on or tried to do it away. So that's why now we got it. We're looking for another sound. So when you push in this shit, it's going to take a minute for people to really, oh, that's really what's going on.
Starting point is 01:00:18 And it's like that. So because he gave me that effect. At first, I thought he was like, you know, putting it on and acting. But now he liked that. He didn't allow riders, you know, the sound. it's really what we're doing over here still we in forums too but we got the little writers on top of that
Starting point is 01:00:33 another artist I think that's really pushing it and it's been doing a great job at it is Jay Worthy oh yeah yeah uh huh I got a tape coming out with him next one oh shit that's hard you heard it here first so much stuff man Stewart's like yeah but I uh you know
Starting point is 01:00:52 he'd be on the East Coast a lot so I'm yeah but he does a good job of like finding a great like 70s 80 nostalgic record He worked with a legendary producer Harry Frost So that's who behind a lot of that too And he got his own like funky sound Like his own little bouncing
Starting point is 01:01:07 So I fuck with that all the way Y'all have a title toward the project Not not yet What influence the I mean needless to say It's the next episode Of course we know what that means But what made you title the project The next episode
Starting point is 01:01:19 I just think Like that's what I am Like that's where we're at Like as a brand as a whole like um even though it's the song i think um as far as you know my pop's not being here just the fact that next episode is like you know the re like rebirth of something else so it's like i'm the next thing you're watching the you know a document whatever you're watching this episode you know until you get to the end so i'm like the next one after me it could be you know my son
Starting point is 01:01:52 my brother however it's gonna go but i'm just i'm the next one right now that's what i thought that's I heard that. I heard that. Yeah. It's perfect, actually. Yeah. Yeah. I thought it was gangster.
Starting point is 01:02:02 I think my first show, I want to come out to the next episode playing they song and some smoke on a lowrider, you feel me? Real West Coast shit. Yeah. Yeah. Hell yeah. Make sure we got, um, from row seats. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:18 Come on. Behind the scene. It's, uh. Because you knew me before this. Okay. Okay. Wow. Now, you know, it was funny.
Starting point is 01:02:26 I was telling him the other day that I, that I, heard because he you went a Bosco right so I heard about him because I was like living around the corner from Bosco and just hearing like oh Nate Doc son like he's a D1 athlete like you know what I mean like he's number something quarter cornerback in like the whole like country and shit and I was like oh damn that's crazy and then later on I see that like he's like on Twitter he's making like starting to make music and shit like that and then now it's like now we're cool like it's just true yeah because like I said I had nothing to music. I was just like going to school type of shit
Starting point is 01:02:57 like 15, 16 years old. Me too. Yeah. That's just so crazy just seeing everybody like come. I feel like we talked about this before but fucking talk about it again. Everybody like we're all becoming successful and everybody just coming up together like Yeah, for sure. Seeing fucking
Starting point is 01:03:13 Blueface, I mean not blue face, blue bucks and Cuevo and you know with hit boy like that shit is epic how we just see. For the whole coast of too. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:26 What's going on? Like that's big for, because everybody tapped in. That shit is crazy. Draco and Quavo got one on the way too. Yeah. Draco just previewed that on his story. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:37 Freaking seeing Blast, Mazzy, Y, G, all and Kabul and shit together. Like, that shit is fire. Yeah. Even like how we was just talking about the awards with Roddy performing. Like, Roddy came up with all of us. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:49 You know? Because it feels like, it feels like the new generation is being like very defined. Like it's being sharpened and just like really stamped and cemented. Yeah, everybody's elevating at the moment. Yeah. On a major, in a major way. Like, you can't, there's not much, like, many bigger things you can do than have a song with Drake or the Migos.
Starting point is 01:04:09 Yeah. In 2021. Like, that's literally as damn near as high of a cosine that you can go. You got to turn pop after that. Yeah. Oh, God. Yeah, that shit is crazy. Even like, because we started, we started during, like, media and shit during the, you know,
Starting point is 01:04:25 like Joe Moses, RJ Aaron and stuff like that. Yeah, facts. And for us, well, I know for me, it was like, damn, I want to be, I want to interview them. I want to be a part of that. I want to do this. I want to do that. But that wasn't my time. Like, our time is right now coming up with them.
Starting point is 01:04:38 And, you know, like our contemporaries, you know, coming up with them. And they were all older than us. Yeah. I didn't, I didn't look at it at the time. Like, when I interviewed Joe Moses, that was like the biggest thing in the world to me at the time. I was like, oh, shit, I got to interview with Joe Moses. This is like 2016 or something.
Starting point is 01:04:53 at him and Nips. They did like a versus. I don't know if you guys remember that. They did a like like it was down there like the first versus concert. It was out in at the observatory in Orange County. They had Joe Moses go first and then Nipsey was like right after. Yeah. And it was just like, like, like you said, I was like, damn, this is like, I can't wait.
Starting point is 01:05:12 That was the biggest thing for you. My big break, right? That's how I felt with RJ. I'm like, I got RJ in a fucking cipher. I couldn't believe it. Like RJ was like the ultimate fucking goal for me at that time. That was like 2017, 2016 or something, but it was like, damn, like, we, but, I mean, if we would have came up around that time and we had to be a little older.
Starting point is 01:05:33 We had to be a little older. Like, now we're on fucking no jumper, you know, like, I don't know. I heard that was by I said to right. Y'all's just a true. It's just a true. You know, I don't say that because now people are going to start getting on us. We don't get on us. People are going on us if their career not working out.
Starting point is 01:05:47 You know, what's the heights of that, you know? Right, right. We could let people in, but we don't keep nobody out. Y'all keep yourselves out. But we ain't letting anybody in up. Hey, I'm just any because they ain't going to be in our DMs. We're just helpers. I heard you.
Starting point is 01:06:04 I said y'all looking for new artists. No, we're not. But yeah, that's cool. That's real cool to me. That's super dope. So what else you have coming this year? Oh, shit, a lot of stuff, man. I got the deluxe coming right after this.
Starting point is 01:06:17 I got, whenever I feel like dropping, really. Yeah. Another project after that. I'm hoping they get to open everything up so we can announce this tour. We got a few spots that's already confirmed. Oh, fire. Any underground strip clip? No, we don't even.
Starting point is 01:06:33 If we go there, that's a big shit. That's a big shit. That's private flyers. Yeah. Bye, Ollie. That's what? No. That's my dope.
Starting point is 01:06:42 Shit, anything else you guys got? No, we talked about all of new music, right? Yeah. That's pretty much it. Yeah? we'll be back next week mad lately i'm rose kranesvick jean of youth yes sir everybody go get the next episode right now yeah
