And it was four years of college, just building that up. And being with your friends, we grew up with each other. Jerry went to the rival high school, which we played football against each other. So it's hometown vibes, you could say. Also, also the Ratchet High School, too. The Ratchet High School? Right. I love the guy.

So it's already diverse. So all of us are different cultures, but our city is so, it's one of the most diverse places, you could say. Yeah, how did the quote unquote disadvantaged students get enough money to start throwing parties?

re-up on clothes, re-up on other things. Well, with us, it was like, yo, if we want to interview these artists like Charlemagne and the God and stuff, these artists ain't going to do it for free. So we're like, yo, there was a radio on my independent radio, a DJ named DJ Ruckus. Shout out to DJ Rockets to Rhode Island. And he was throwing concerts for years in Rhode Island.

Like he even, I think he threw a biggie concert, like in the 90s and stuff. So we got in contact with him, got our refund money together and started booking artists. One of the artists we booked was Bobby Smurder for when the hot nigger came out. Wow. Like we caught it, like, we did an interview with him, was moving on YouTube, everything going good. But like the promotion of concert game is dangerous. Like it's, you ought to know what you're getting into and it's a gamble. And that one worked.

but previous ones, we would throw a concert, fight break out, somebody gets stabbed, concerts is done. But yeah, back and money, all your money is still to the artist and they have to keep it. So those situations where imagine in college and we just put up three, four bins, and boom, the concert doesn't even happen and you lose all your money. It was good and bad. Oh, yeah, that's what happened to watch you in. Oh, yeah, you're right.

YG DJ Mustin, we threw a concert. It was lit though. I thought I get my asshole about his people's, yeah. Wait, speak on that though. So YG and DJ Mussel was trying to whip your ass? Nah, because basically, like, I'm in the section, right? And one of those, I think I was like, yo, make sure you keep recording. So I'm like, all, boom.

So I'm recording the section, anything like that. And then one of YG's people was like, yeah, you stop recording. And I'm like, in my mind, I'm like, yo, I got told to keep recording, man. You know, we're throwing a concert with your eyes. By him? Wait. I know what I'm saying because I was for the same shit. I know what's his ass, bro.

And the issue that happened is we do an August I'll see in a concert and pop. And then the next week, usually like if Massachusetts throws festivals. So we were able to get YG off the, like when he was done performing, he could come and do a club appearance. So we was feeling our stuff. We was like, yo, we only had one week to promote it. And we were like, nah, we just did August.

Mind you, August, usually with concerts, we take a month or two. Yeah. Boom. Why did you like, nah, we hot. One week of promo and our city is so small, we gotta realize it's not LA. It's has the population of Rhode Island's a million people. So you gotta really understand, it's really small. So a week of promo, it's not that YG and M weren't big.

It's just you need a way a lot longer to promote it. So we learned, you learn bumps and bruises along the way. Thanks. Not meant, but at that time though, you guys had already started YouTube, right? Yes, we started, we did three videos and then took a four or five, 5 IAid itself. We did an interview with Bobby Smurder, we did an interview with Little Bibby, and we did an interview with G Herbo at that time. Yo, that's a crazy line. How much was your pain these artists, though, to come

And this is, I'm out of college, no job trying to do Uber, car broke down.

Everyone's doing their part-time job as well. And just watching Vlad, watching Vlad. And then there was a Vlad TV interview with Tax Stone. I'll never forget this, like to this day. And in the interview, it was the most simplest thing, Vlad was just like, oh, so Tax Stone, how did you make it happen for yourself? How did you, like this one, Taxone was killing podcast and stuff. And he was like, yo, honestly, plain and simple.

And literally, like, I think a day or two, it was like Kendrick Lamar dropped the damn album. And I've seen people online just reacting. Like, it was going crazy. Like, people are reviewing reacting to this. And then I hit up all my boy Wells at the time because we both needed a job and stuff. And then I told us.

Joe, I'm like, yo, I've seen this Kendrick Lamar reaction thing. And he was like, oh, shoot, I seen some other people do that too. So right there, click because it was like, we both seen it from two different places. So I'm like, yo, but you're telling me these dudes just go sit down, review our content and put it out. And it gets, and they don't have to pay no artists. They don't got. I'm like, yo, we can get all these views and we don't got to be paying none of these artists and stuff. we gotta try this. And mind you, at this time, though, like, we're ready. We have a whole clothing line which we have on right now. You got the hoodie on and stuff. We're throwing concerts already. We're doing a radio show for five years.

So pretty much I'm saying, we're already busy. So Kendrick dropped in March. Someone came and it was like, yo, we got a new key. We meet him end up living together and he got a new camera. And the minute he got a new camera, I'm like, yo, it's, yo, fuck it.

Like, let's just do it right now. Let's just do it. JZ dropped 4-444. me and him attempted to do it we didn't know anything about copyrights blocks strikes anything so we went in we just paid that whole shit we reacted to the whole thing

played the whole thing he uploads it block off of it but I'm like what the hell I didn't block for and I was like yo we played the whole thing I'm like yo fuck that play two minutes of it we just played two minutes of the song we're gonna be good well we're about to do that Patrick shows up because he's coming from work

to link up we do it again that shit blocks gets a strike cool we we just forget about it literally we threw um we had the biggest party we ever thrown in our city it was a outside day party festival it's in july straight dance hall vibes yeah straight dance hall vibes literally two days before that thursday came and it was 21 savage drop it's a it's a it's a album bro we did that reaction we're like yo i think um pat was like yo, we're just gonna do 20, 30 seconds. And then we called up Evan.

We end of party packed everything. but we, I think we probably like lost like three, four hundred dollars from it, but it was like, it was a time of me. I'm going to go through trauma.

It was bad too because we were running around doing a whole bunch of stuff to get, to get this party right, just to figure out at the end of the night, like, Rob comes up to me, he's like, yeah, Jerry, so we lost money and I'm just like, you know what? We've done with this party. We don't know. No, right, it wasn't even, it wasn't done it.

That happened. We threw a party. Then the next day, mind you. We just posted on YouTube. We completely forgot we even posted it. So it's like cool party. I'm like, I go on looking on YouTube. I'm like one day, 22,000 views.

I'm like, yo, 22,000 views. Literally that moment. Since that, that was June, July 2017. From that moment to this day, we haven't stopped on our reaction. Yo, so when you guys reviewed that album, who was like the one freak who said this shit was trash? Did he's like, Joel was the one person would say it more than anybody if something's trash.
