What's the deal, y'all?
It's Sunday, fun day up in this mother lover.
What's the?
Josh is here.
What's up?
And Hezzy God is up in here.
I told y'all, man, we aim to please here at No Jumper Sports, man.
Jason is here, y'all.
Guess what?
We are setting the table.
This is it.
Get used to it.
I'm off the bench.
Get used to it.
He's off the bench scoring 50.
Let's go.
Hezzy, man.
What's going on, man?
For real.
What up?
Welcome, man.
We appreciate you coming through, man.
I appreciate you coming through, man.
I appreciate the invite.
It's dope.
I appreciate it.
Man, the journey is highly respected.
That's what we will say.
Appreciate it.
Josh said he got some stuff he wanted to talk to you.
Yeah, we got a couple of questions for you.
We've interviewed a couple of athletes here.
Some pro sports ballers.
They gave us their story from, you know, young age coming up.
Before you were a hezzy god, what was a hessie kid like?
I mean, the young guy.
I mean, he wasn't the hezzi guy for sure.
He was Carter or Little Henry from Charlotte, North Carolina.
Carolina, true story, first time touching the basketball, age four.
Not necessarily first time touching the basketball, but playing organized basketball game,
age four and a half years old, tuck a CG Rakes in and the OGs can attest to it.
On the regular size goals, I dropped the dub.
My very first game, I dropped 20 points.
Four years old.
Four and a half years old.
After the game, though, all the other parents from the other team wanted to check
birth certificate is not knowing I was the youngest kid on the court.
Therefore I was actually the youngest kid playing and scored the most points.
And they tried to like, hey, check his birth certificate.
He's older than the rest of these kids by we're tall.
No, I was short.
I was like regular.
I was at average size.
They tried.
But it was like, it was like how you see those little prodigy kids now.
Like I was that without all the drills and stuff.
I just enjoy basketball.
Like I've always just enjoyed basketball.
Sometimes it got to be in you, man.
Yeah, no, for sure.
Natural talent.
Yeah, like, I just, I guess I wouldn't say it's natural, like, because I don't have the natural guy given, like, look of a basketball player.
But he definitely put the work ethic to be, like, great, like, inside of me, for sure.
Who put the ball in your hand?
Like, who's the first person to do that?
My dad, like, like any dad would do.
You know what I'm saying?
Throw your son the ball and it's kind of like, do we like basketball?
you know what I'm saying but when they threw me to basketball and gave me the little Fisher Price goal
I was jumping off the table dunking like doing Michael Jordan stunts and so like I actually got stitches right here from
hitting the corner of the coffee table like trying to dunk it was you the first time you beat your pops
I was actually 16 I remember we was at the YMCA we was on the side goals we had just finished playing like a pickup
run and he had been like running from me because the last time we played
Like I was like a bucket or so away from beating them.
And so he was like running from me low key.
Like he was trying to wait till he was like fresh.
I got to do all the time this week.
So I like caught him slipping.
Yeah, yeah.
But he ain't played me no more after that
because he was like, it was like, all right.
Did it was the rain had been passed?
Was pops like a hooper growing up?
He was a hooper, but pops wasn't like,
I guess basketball skill.
Pop kind of like grew up like in the streets hooping
and then somebody was like, hey, you can play.
and like put him on the high school team type of deal pops like was a baseball player
oh that's he pops had bounce and so that's why everybody
fucked with pops because he was like all right no he's not a great ball handler he got a
decent jump shot but if you throw it up yeah you throw the ball up anywhere near the basket
he gonna go get it athletic like my dad name here he card it but they used to call him high
see because he punch everything oh shit that's what's yeah i gotta use that for
to call them a high C.
Shut out the high C in the building, man, for sure, for sure.
Yeah, bro, I've seen a couple videos, man.
I'm not going to lie, bro.
74 points in the ABA game?
Yeah, I had 74.
I dropped, actually, I dropped 112,
but because it's a funny rule in the ABA,
like, so if, like, the other team turns the ball over
before they cross half court or something,
you get one point added to what you initially score.
So if I make a layup, it's three points.
And if I had a three-pointer, it's four points.
because you made them turn the ball over before they cross half court.
So they call it like a 3D rule.
So I actually had that game where everybody talking about me having 103 points.
I actually had 111 if you count the extra points.
But without the extra points, 103.
And then I hit like 70 a couple times this year in the ABA.
For those that's watching that's not familiar,
could you kind of just let them know what the ABA even is?
The ABA is actually that white, red, white and blue basketball you've seen.
Dr. Jay playing with back in the day.
Somebody bought it out and just revamped it.
Fire.
That's still that original league.
That's crazy.
That's fire.
How do they go about getting those players?
Basically, you got, like, owners who pay for the teams or whatever,
and then, like, they have tryouts.
Like, our team had triouts or whatever.
I played with them last year.
That was my first time playing in the ABA.
It's been around for, like, a while.
Like, that's how guys, like, I guess, you know,
kind of get a look.
as a professional to kind of like go overseas or have film.
That's what people use it for like professional film.
Because you're playing against guys who once play pro,
who you know just trying to stay in shape or guys who trying to stay in shape to go somewhere to play
or just guys who you know not good enough to actually be professionals but want a chance to
be a professional or feel like a professional and a semi-pro type of.
Shout out to the ABA man for doing that because without that a lot of people would just give up
on shit and it's just a year like me for instance I could have played 24 or 5 years old
but if I wouldn't have some insight on the damn ABA information I would try it
yeah like yeah like so my bad my bad but even to be able to like get looked at to go out overseas
that's fire too bro like the torch is still lit no and I want to know more about the journey so
your first game you drop a dub four years old what was you know what was the next
what was the path like for you you play high school
Did you play AAU?
To be honest, like early on, it was just like, you know, rec leagues.
I was always the better kid on my team in rec leagues.
I had a sucky attitude.
That's one thing about it as a kid, like a sucky attitude.
Like I was that kid where it was like all the other teams would like just try to get me frustrated
because it's like once he gets mad.
He's out of his game.
You're a hot head.
Not necessarily he's out of his game because I still.
like play well but it's like you get the talking back to the ref or like the selfishness in like
being like a bog hog like turn it into a one yeah instead of like actually trying to win the game
and so like for real my first lesson with the attitude uh I think I want to say I was fourth grade
was killing it I was on the undefeated team but I had had a problem with like talking back
to the refs. Like my mom was like, stop saying something to the refs. Stop saying something to the
refs. Like just play basketball. I had that same issue. Bro, that's fire, bro. He brought up Pops.
Then he bringing up mom. So you had both parents. Yeah, I had both parents. My dad necessarily didn't
make into the game because he was a barber. So a lot of times on Saturday, he would be in the shop
cutting hair. That was me, bro. That was me. That was me. That was me. Pops couldn't come and I used
to be one. Yeah, my dad played. Yeah. So, you know, he would come when. You would come
when like you know we had those later games or it was like a championship game he'd take the
take the take the take the hell or whatever but mom's basically like set me down bro like she was like
look you got one more time and that next time the next game you know we played a really good team
and like they was just getting the better best of us and I did what I was known to do get an attitude
you know what I'm saying be mad be frustrated and so she let me finish that game and she pulled me
for the rest of the season she would make me go to the game
dressed in uniforms, sit on the bench, watch my team play,
and let the coach put me in.
Then the coach tried to get smart because it's like, shoot,
I'm trying to win, this is my best player.
He would only tell four kids to show up.
That's fun.
And then tell me to show, and then know my mom
going to make me show up, and so I'd be the fifth.
And she'd be like, yeah, he can go out there.
I want him to be able to allow the other kids to play,
but if he even so much as dribbles the ball,
he just needs to stand out there,
out there and run back and forth and stand and the coach was like are you serious right now and my mom was
like all right he not playing so I literally forfeited like a playoff game because my mama was like
nah bro I'm teaching you this lesson jay shout out to moms because you know how we are as parents
shout out to your mom's bro for teaching you that discipline man's a strict one that's the real support
that's right there made you keep going bro that's your look you feel what I'm saying like the people don't
understand like those little rules and regulations that get set upon us as kids it follows through
with us through our journey you feel what I'm saying so when you're young and you talented like
I think it's kind of expected to be like your talent is going to exceed your age and maturity so it's like
it's not weird that you had like those kind of issues like that comes with time and age and
experience so it's like it's cool you had your parents there you know kind of be like get in line
with us I remember like it was yesterday bro I like wrote her a letter and
like wrote when got Bible scriptures that pertain to my attitude and all of there bro
that's fire bro yeah that's fire so did that get you on the path did you start taking basketball
more seriously or I've always taken it serious but I also played baseball and football growing up too
I played football I was a college quarterback yeah like people don't know that like if you literally
google the hez-y-guy football pitcher is going to come up first where I played Johnson C-Smith
University it's an HBCU
in Charlotte, North Carolina.
I'm actually the all-time leading pastor in school history.
Yeah, I'm 10th on the assists board, too.
Talk to him.
Talk to him.
People always like, oh, he'll ball hog, he this, that, and the third.
But you go from a kid who always been able to score,
and then I play college basketball for, like,
an older college coach who was stuck in his ways.
It's like, run my place or you're not going to play.
And so, like, my first year as a freshman,
And I, low-key, like, was like, man, fuck your system.
I'm gonna go out there and do me.
And like, I had the crowd on my bag.
People wanted me in the games.
But it's like, nah, this is my system.
This is the way I do it.
And if you're not going to do it my way,
you're going to play them last five minutes of the game
and get your ooze and odds.
And I didn't enjoy that.
Like, I grew up hooping.
Like, I wanted to play.
I wanted to be a part of what was going on.
Me.
I wanted to say one thing, bro,
I've been watching, like, some clips
and some highlights of your game.
and it's like I see two players besides just you I see like Steven Jackson you get
what I'm saying and then as far as with the I wouldn't even say like attitude you feel
what I'm saying because that's the game you feel what I'm saying if you ain't got no bark in you
I mean like Jordan was my favorite player his confidence was that bro through the roof like you know
what I'm saying Michael Joy Michael Jordan could not say nothing and you see how much confidence he got even
still now like you see Michael
George sitting court side at the games and it's like,
damn, that niggas still go for 40.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Like, it's like, damn, Jordan is still hit you for 40 right now.
Right now.
Right now.
Drunk, all of that.
You know what I'm saying?
Extra large suit.
He'll still hit you for 40.
You see Jordan and Tom Brady over there playing two on two?
Yeah, it's just like, yeah.
Go get it twisted.
So you, you mentioned though, so you went to a HBCU?
Yeah, I did.
Was that a conscious decision?
To be honest, bro, it was a,
It was a part of who I am, the being overlooked thing.
I've always told my parents I was going to play three sports in college,
but just so happened at the HBCU I went to didn't have baseball,
and so I just played football and basketball,
but that played a huge factor in it.
Like there was some D1A's that wanted me for either football or basketball,
but I was like, growing up, like, Ronald Curry was like an idol of mine.
like he played at Carolina Tar Heels.
He was the quarterback and the point guard.
And so he was like, you know what I'm saying?
Intricate.
I'm a Tar He was like an intricate part of me growing up.
Like he played with Julius Peppers.
Like they was all on that same team where Carolina like went to the elite eight final four type of deal.
And so it kind of like, I was like, yeah, Ronald Curry.
Like that's what I saw myself as.
And then like growing up like once I transitioned to quarterback, because I didn't always play
quarterback I was like a chubby kid so when I first started playing football I was
actually a lineman even in the seventh grade I was the I was the starting right
guard on the middle school team in the seventh grade we got new coaches in the eighth
grade he was like I don't care what you did last year I'm gonna get everybody an
opportunity to be what you want as soon as he said that I just grabbed the football I
didn't wait on them to put us in position I just grabbed the football and chunked
60 yards and he was like that's my quarterback right there you know what I'm saying
And he was like, I don't care what you played last year.
I'm going to teach you how to be a quarterback.
The good thing for you is I was a quarterback all my life so I can really teach you how to be one.
And so in the eighth grade, I transitioned.
I started getting a little slimmer, taller from having to work harder for being a quarterback.
Like, linemen don't have to work as hard as skill position.
So going from that, it kind of like slimmy up.
I started to mature and get taller.
And that's actually how I started playing quarterback, to be honest.
and then just the love for understanding how to be a better quarterback and like hearing stories
about people like Charlie Ward from my dad like, man, you can be like Charlie Ward.
You know, he was a husband and college football and then went to the NBA.
Facts.
He didn't even go to the NFL.
He chose the other route.
You know what I'm saying?
It's just like, dang, that's dope to be able to do both and choose your destiny.
You know what I'm saying?
Explain to the viewers, Hell Week, football-wise.
Oh, Hell Week is.
It may not be the first week you get to training camp, but it's going to be one week in training camp where you get dog the fuck out.
It's not necessarily about running the plays.
It's not necessarily about how good you are.
Like, they just run everybody in the ground to kind of get you prepared for the season because that shit is football is like wars.
What people don't understand.
That's really the only sport where you could literally take all your aggression out on another man in the same.
It's legal.
Straight up.
You know what I'm saying?
Boxing, you know, but everybody ain't built for that.
Whereas football, they give you equipment and you can literally like a Mack truck just
run through somebody and it's okay.
It's accepted.
You know what I'm saying?
For some people who, yeah, yeah.
And all you do is get a flag.
Yeah.
For some people who enjoy the game but had some things in life that was run for them, they need
that to be able to get that off.
That focused orchestrated violence.
Yeah.
That orchestrated.
orchestrated violence. That's the perfect word for.
No. So how long ago were you playing at the HBC schools? Because, you know,
recently someone like Dion Sanders has come in. Oh, yeah. Really taking, you know,
those programs, blown them up. They just got the number one recruit in the country to
to Jackson State, go to HBC school. So like the talent is obviously very competitive, but
compared to where it is now, where you were playing, did you see that coming up?
Uh, to be honest, college basketball.
the only difference between like division two and division one is the big man the guard
play like as far as point guards shooting guards wing guys there's no difference
HBCUs might have better guard play than your division one NCAAs like just think
about it like St. Peter's those little guards came in there and destroyed the guards we
watch every Saturday morning they came in there and destroyed them but it's like it's like
the difference is you play with a seven footer and my big man is six six seven you know what I'm
saying that's the only difference that's why you get guys like uh no name little guys in the league
that go crazy you know what I'm saying but it's because the only difference is I get to play
with a seven footer now like that screen is going to create so much more space than it would
if my big man is six eight six seven you know what I'm saying like my actual big man in college he was a
D2, All-American, all of that.
But he was 6-7, and he transferred from East Carolina University,
and he was actually a two-guard, three-guard at East Carolina.
Came to my school, became a 5.
Every time he posted up, he just faced up.
You know what I'm saying?
He just faced up like a guard and used his moves,
but he was dummy athletic, like 6, 7 can jump out of the gym,
you know what I'm saying?
So we just put him in position.
And you know what I'm saying?
Because it's not many seven-footers and stuff like that at D-2,
he excelled.
Yeah, you already know footers is going straight there.
Yeah.
Like, I play with one now that I be trying to, like, hide from everybody.
Yeah.
Yeah, he legit, too.
He should literally be playing pro, but I'd be hiding them from everybody.
Because there's some of them to the Drew League, and I'm going to run that shit.
I'm going to run it.
I might call it now.
I'm MVP.
I might call it right now.
Like, I finally get my own chance at it.
Like, I've gotten to play in the Drew League.
I've even shined in the Drew League, but I ain't never had my own team, like, where the team is surrounded with me, with me, your squad.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, I literally get to handpick, knocking, if you ain't cutting it, I can be like, yeah, bro, it's time to go.
You know what I'm like, I'm getting to really like, so like, that's why I'm saying.
I'm calling MVP because the Drew League is nothing but L.A. hoops with your NBA players coming in,
five or six weeks in.
Yep.
Five or six weeks in, I'm averaging 40.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, those are the intentions that I'm having with this this summer.
Like, I'm not playing this summer.
When you was in the Drew League, like, who are some people that played against you?
I actually never really got to play, play against Frank Nitty in the Drew.
Like, I've had games against them, but I didn't get much playing time.
Like, last year was really my first time getting to Rock Y'all.
And I wouldn't even say rock out, bro.
I played about 12 minutes a game and average 20 points a game.
Literally, I was the leading score on my team in the least amount of time of those guys who played.
Like, you know what I'm saying, bro?
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Bro, even the game that everybody talks about the Drew League game, bro, it was 40 points in 15 minutes.
The Drew League is eight minute quarters.
That's 32 minutes of basketball.
I literally played 15 minutes of that and had 40.
That's fire.
That's quick, bro.
Hey, just put everybody on notice, man,
no jumper sports gotta pull up to the Drew League.
Easy.
Bro, we're about to go with, bro, what?
You think we ain't going with Hessey?
No, no, stop.
It's up to, like, I literally,
I literally got a team, like, it's up.
You got some of your pieces, this shit.
Hold up.
Like, I get to pick them and everything.
Hey, hell yeah.
Shout out to meta, though.
Because without meta world piece, that one of the squad.
Hey, shout out to me.
You know how to get rough, you be wanting to fight and all that?
Yeah.
Kiki, get them.
Skit!
Let's go.
I don't even want to play, bro.
I'm going to be out there just looking for me.
It's out there fouling, bro.
Oh, yeah, you just found.
I need you for the parks then.
Yeah.
Also, how do you do for the parks takeovers?
Yeah, they're tripping?
Yeah, they're tripping.
They're right there.
Let me, actually, I'll be the cameraman.
So they think ain't nothing on track.
That's the best thing.
Right there, the shooter.
It really is the shooter.
That's the way right there.
My bad, y'all, the interruption, but we back with you.
No, but not, shout out, like, shout out to Mehta for making that possible, though,
because he sees something in me that I didn't think I saw it myself at the time to be like,
hey, look, you know, I'm paying for the team, but you pick the coach, you pick the players,
you, it's really just you.
I'm just funding you.
How did you, you link up with meta and, like, how did you establish that kind of, like,
rapport with that kind of trust?
Because that's a pretty big, you know.
Not for sure.
Roger showed up to, he hosts the, like he got an app called X versus X Sports and like
you can sign up on the app and it just pulls up runs.
And so during the pandemic, that's when he kind of like popped it off.
And so people would like search his app to see where the runs were.
And so once people found out like people like me and, you know, Rome Flynn, the actor, like
would pull up to stuff like that.
So people started like pulling up like, all right, first it's not.
not just celebrities, but it's hoopers that, you know what I'm saying, celebrities.
And so even at times Meadow would play, Gilbert then pulled up on us.
Like, it's been legit hoopers there.
You know what I'm saying?
So what?
How was that?
Gilbert didn't play.
He actually came and he was just there chopping it with meta and just watching because
that's when the app like started getting super popular.
And I don't know, maybe he was invest in whatever.
I don't know what it was.
But he just pulled up.
And I was interacting with him.
because, you know, I grew up like, I know who that is.
That's Habachi, you know what I'm saying?
Hey, so one time in Carson, bro,
shout out to my teammate Brian Harvey for this.
He hit me up and was like, hey, bro,
I'm playing in this league in Carson, come up here and watch the game, right?
So I'm like, all right, for sure.
I'll pull up.
So I get there and I see Gilbert Arenas.
I'm like, damn, bro.
I ain't never seen him play live,
and I'm about to watch him play live, right?
bro my boy had on some shell low top shell to adidas don't god he hooping anything he used to do it in the
NBA though what people don't realize is give what arena says hooped in air max 90s josh 90s
90s yes bro and went for buckets shell to adidas hurt fam yeah like they hurt that should look like
it's fucking of your toes he had like if i don't quote me but it was like 61 or 62 and he out there
and they wasn't even tied up
up fam this is a real fact that I've seen with my own eyes didn't even break the sweat even in the
NBA though Gilbert Gilbert has played in like air maxes like multiple air maxes air maxes air maxes air maxes
one's 90s like man shout out to Gilbert I don't know if he were going to remember that but I
remember that and I was like that is crazy that bro that shit should have heard no no he
he did that in the league so I believe that story though because he did he did that type
stuff in the league like just wearing anything
type shoes like and going to drag like Versailles he's played in like Versace shoes and stuff like
that like yeah and dragging people bro like it was crazy man crazy uh white iverson okay let's speak on him
uh that's my dude uh to me he's a bucket like to me um I will say like you put a dog in front of him
at times he can vanish but he's a bucket and this is the thing people
people don't realize about Allen.
Like if you take him lightly, he will embarrass you.
Like I don't care who you are.
You could be LeBron James.
If you come out there and treat me like average Joe,
like I'm average Joe, like I didn't build the name for myself.
He will destroy you like literally like.
And everybody know what's coming.
The right to left crossover, you call itself White Arvison.
So you know the right to left crossover.
You know the pool snatch and all of that's coming.
You know the little funny shaking.
You know he wants to shoot the jump shot and all of that.
But you can't stop it.
Because he can really shoot, bro.
Like, and then he shoots it like somebody who can't shoot.
Like you know what I'm saying?
Like it's a quick release, pull your arms down.
Like, but you could, he follows through.
If he actually held it up, it'd be pretty.
But because he like pulls it down and you can't really see the jumper,
Like you can't see the release, bro, that shit is effective as fuck.
Like Allen's, if you throw it in slow mode, that shit is beautiful.
You can see it.
But in fast play, it's so quick.
Like, and that's why he get people because you don't think it's jump shot that quick.
So when he hit you with a few moves and he gets you to take them little steps back,
you think you got enough room to close out.
But it's jump shot, he let it go quick.
And so, like, that's what I say about Allen.
Like, he'll give you buckets if you don't treat him like,
like a good player.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Some people got those moves where it's like,
even if they're anticipated and people know,
it's like they really got him in their back.
I have to play him.
I have to play him just as hard as I play Frank,
just as hard as I play.
You know what I'm saying?
The moment I'm lax on Allen,
bam, three, four.
You know what I'm saying?
Like he's quick.
He's not shy.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
He's not shy about shooting.
He's confident.
Like, like, you know what I'm saying?
He played with swag.
Like, and the only reason I call him,
Allen because that's his name that's what his mama named them in and there's only
you go call there's only one Iverson to me you feel me I mean but that's my God that's
my guy his name is Allen but there's only there's only one of those bro I mean it's a
fact there's only one one there's only yeah there's only there's only one guy from
bad news Virginia that'll get you buckets bro that's right you know what I'm saying
but hey Alan that's my dude though 100% man he's supposed to come down too so
Shout out to you, bro.
See, you got some good feedback over here with the ski.
Not for sure.
I'm looking for an extra to it now.
I'm looking at Josh like, bro, you see the competitiveness.
You could take, you could, look at your point guard.
This could possibly be your point guard.
And then, you know, I have Alan.
You're looking good in the draft.
You're looking good in.
See what I mean?
His team is changing every time.
Every second.
By the second.
That's why we've got to do this draft.
Hey, man, you know what I'm saying?
I'm trying to beat Phil Jackson, man.
I got to see what's going on, man.
So what's up with the, how do you feel about the big three?
To be honest, bro, that's what I'm shooting for this summer.
Like, that's the, I guess, we would call it the short-term goal.
Like, that's the goal for right now.
Like, that's, if nothing else pop off for me this summer and that pops off, I'm satisfied.
I'm content.
My summer was lit.
You know what I'm saying?
If that pops off for me, you know what I'm saying?
I could not win a game at the Drew.
the league average 10 points but as long as I get there and do what I'm supposed to do
I'd be satisfied granted that other shit not gonna happen but you know what I'm
saying like I'd be content if you know what I'm saying that was all I got this
summer like I that's that's my short turn that's what I've been shoe for I've been
putting myself in position by connecting with the people who's who of anybody over
there the guys who play in it I actually got a phone call from
Nate through my homie mouthpiece shout out the mouthpiece
from Venice Beach he's like the voice of Venice Beach like he's over the mic
anytime you hear anything funny at the games at Venice that's who that's who
you hearing it from so he actually was they he does he hosts Dunkley so him and
Nate Robinson host Dunkley and Nate kind of was like hey man is he got
legit not knowing mouthpiece second day I moved to California from I'm from
North Carolina so and I got family in Pasadena my uncle and aunt and
and little cousins and stuff in Pasadena.
And so I met mouthpiece out in Pasadena playing in like a league
my second day out here.
And I dropped, he was like announcing it and I dropped 40.
And he was like, where you from?
You know what I'm saying?
He started calling me North Kakalaki.
So that's what I was before the Hesi God.
When I first moved out here, he was calling me North Kakalaki
because it's like, you know what I'm saying,
I'm from North Carolina.
That's kind of what.
Yeah, that's what they kind of say.
say North Kakalaki or South Kakalaki when you're from North and South Carolina.
So he was calling me that at first and then he from Nash Browntown.
From where?
New Hampshire.
Nashville.
Nashville.
Nashville.
You like that.
Ashbrown town.
So back on the big three.
Hey, so yeah, yeah, yeah, you wanted to tell them someone.
Well, no, I wanted the big three is the short term.
What's the, you know, what's the big goal?
Everything goes right.
It, like, you mean like after basketball and all of that?
Like, you mean like with the basketball journey?
To be honest, bro, I would like, like a chance at like a 10 day just to see what I could do, bro.
Like just to just to see like, you know what I'm saying, what I could do like, but I don't want a 10 day with fucking 10 minutes.
Give me a 10 day with fucking Kyle Lowry men.
It's like, you know what I'm saying?
Like, no disrespect to Cal Larry.
Everybody in the NBA is in the NBA for a reason.
But I feel like I could do a job, bro.
Like, hey, ain't nothing more.
You know what I'm saying?
You know what I'm saying?
Like, I feel like I could do brus job like playing alongside of DeMara Rosen and the people,
the Jimmy Butler's and the people he played alongside like the game's easy.
You know what I'm saying?
And all you gotta do is maintain it.
But what I will say about him when he has an advantage, he takes advantage of it.
Like he destroyed Kimball Walker in those playoffs when they played the Celtics because Kimball Walker
were smaller.
So he just took his ass to the paint like a bigger guard should and destroyed him.
But when he got a guard equally as good as him, it's like, what's going on?
What's going on, bro?
What are we doing today?
What are we doing?
Like, what are we doing?
Like, what are we doing moments from him?
Like, you know what I'm saying?
It's like, bro, as many minutes as you get, you're like an average point guard in the league.
And it's just like, if I was getting those minutes, I could be at least average.
or above average, you know what I'm saying?
Go ahead, Jay.
Well, I was just going to say, so you, uh...
Especially with how the league is today, bro.
It's offensive, it's catered to...
It's catered to offense.
It's catered to give me the ball and get the fuck out of my way.
Like, that's what it's catered to.
Give me a screen.
Let me get this big seven-foot guy who can't move right to left,
two or three steps without falling, and let me work them.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Chris Paul is damn near 40, and he's making a living off.
of getting the switch toy toy toy with you get you all balance mid range jump shot
and he's looking like an MVP caliber player at 40 you know the lakers or maybe you get a 10
day with them before the season's over oh man man if i get a 10 day with the lakers though
i ain't gonna get 25 minutes so i want a 10 day with somebody i'm gonna get to play like the league
is catered to offense it's catered it's catered to
Like people like Darius Garland like it's catered for people like that like give me the ball and move bro
But let me see how move how well you can move your feet straight up you know what I'm saying
It's not a lot of market smarts in the league it's not a lot of people who enjoy playing defense
Going back to like talking about like a bigger picture is
Even after playing is the bigger picture still?
Basketball involved? It's basketball involved but what people don't know is
is my dad a pastor.
And I've always been getting this like,
you don't hear, you don't believe me now.
You won't see it now, but where you're calling
is to bring people closer to God.
And it's just like, as much as I don't want to believe it,
a part of me, like believes it with how well people gravitate to me.
But then in a sense of how people gravitate to me,
even though they don't like me.
And it's just like, how can you gravitate
to or somebody you don't like if it's not something you
like about them. You know what I'm saying? I'm a huge believer in my faith, bro. I wouldn't be
where I am without God. You know what I'm saying? I wouldn't have been able to stick this journey
out and even make it to even be the Hezzy God had God not instill me with, you know what I'm
saying, that perseverance to just fight through that shit. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like,
it's certain things where I wanted to quit. My mom died five years ago, like right when I
essentially moved here. My first two years here was like three months North Carolina, Charlotte,
three months out here because like my mom had dialysis. And so she was going through like a kidney
transplant. And right before she passed, I kind of found out like I was a match or whatever. And so like
it kind of like hit home. And she like graced me to come out here with the hoop and shit because
another secret. I don't like to talk about it. But I didn't seem a lot of money scamming.
You know what I'm saying?
You know what I'm saying?
But I didn't.
And you know, so that's what brought me out here
to get away from the wrong people
and wrong stuff.
And my uncle was like, bro, I'm out here.
They play basketball every day, bro.
You're doing the, like, bro, you're gonna get back
just like your homies in a second.
Just come out here, bro.
I got you.
I moved with my uncle.
I'm low-key guy lucky as fuck.
Went to 24.
I got a degree in Kinesia
and sports management.
And so went to 24 to get a membership
and they was looking for personal trainers.
The actual guy who hired the personal trainers
played basketball, seen me up in the gym
killing dudes and like hire me.
And so I got a job my second day here.
And so it was like, all right, even more reason to stay.
And so I was getting bread.
My uncle went by me a little 84 cutlass.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, so I had a car.
Like, I was good.
You know what I'm saying?
And then my mom passed and like it was just trying to figure it all out again.
Like you know what I'm saying?
Just knowing that tip, bro, I'm with you on that.
I lost moms too, you feel.
Yeah.
I ain't going to let this ride out on your interview.
Yeah, not for sure.
I'm speaking on that.
Yeah, not for sure.
That's a situation to speak on.
110% is hard.
It's hard to cope with losing the person who actually gave life to you and still having
to live life.
Not, you know what I'm saying?
not being able to get that guidance, bro.
I could never call my mom and, you know what I'm saying?
Like, how do I propose to my wife?
Or how do I propose to my girl?
Like, it's certain things that my dad can't tell me, like,
how a woman feels in certain situations.
And now I got to kind of fucking gauge them and learn them shit myself
or ask my sister for advice, which I basically raised her.
So that's like talking to myself.
in the mirror, you know what I'm saying?
That's why I'm a player.
Because moms was gone.
She wasn't here to let me know, Kiki, that's not a good one for you.
Kiki, that ain't a good luck.
That's why I'm just all over the place.
What's dope to hear is, it sounds like you had a lot of support, you know, like you said you
have to show, bro.
But it's one thing that had a support, and it's another thing to take the support and, like,
do your job.
You know what I mean?
That sounds like that's what you're doing.
So, I mean, you know, your mom probably really, you know, like, yeah, she might not be here,
but she gave you that foundation earlier on.
So she's still, you know, she's still going through you, man.
It's good to see that, you know.
I think that's the best way to show on her.
No, for sure.
I think 110%, like, that's, that was the, like, bro, that was the reason why, like,
I just locked in with the hoops.
Like, bro, I lived in California.
I had one homie in Pasadena because it's real shady around them parts.
Yeah.
So I had one homie, you know what I'm saying?
And he worked at the gym with me.
And he ain't had no girl like I did at the time.
And you know what I'm saying?
just in the lab going to the club and it was just like hooping working do it you know
I'm saying having fun it was just like I just got in this mode to where I started
working out two three times a day like not even hooping with people like I would
turn runs down just to work on the crowd like when homies was sleeping and like I
bro I'm gonna call it a night like I got it I work at 24 I'm just about to go up
here set the cones out like I didn't have no friends and like instead of
Having sleepless nights, I guess.
I didn't really experience that when my mom died
because I just tapped into the gym.
It was just like, all right.
I don't know.
I don't want to kick it with me.
Focus.
I'm in this mood.
I ain't got nobody to talk to.
I'm about to go to the gym.
You know what I'm saying?
It was countless nights I didn't cry in the gym,
not knowing why the fuck I'm crying.
You know what I'm saying?
But I'm still in the lab just, and I think those things
is what people get to see now in the videos.
And you know what I'm saying?
People who don't understand.
about me i could see why you could dislike me but that shit coming from a real loving place you know what i'm
saying as much as it come off as cocky and arrogant it's like bro i really earned this shit like you know
what i'm saying like and it's another it's another flame built in so yeah you feel what i'm saying
when you out there hooping that's 10 percent i didn't have so many hooping out of body experiences like
uh i went to china with venice beach and we played in a 300
thousand dollar tournament I actually won the MVP and we won the tournament or whatever but like
out there in Shanghai China like I had out-of-body experiences in certain games like the games were the
21 twos and threes it was like 12 minutes or to 21 type of deal you know what I'm saying and it was
actually like pro teams like Canadian national team uh Germany national team like who was playing like
legit Olympians people that
actually play in those countries like that.
Like, we played Germany.
I scored all 21 points in one of the games
because it's like best out of three.
And so the first game, they had beat us.
And we had been running through everybody else
in the tournament, the Chinese teams,
like all the little teams you supposed to knock off.
Like, but then when you got to Germany and Slovakia
and them seven-footers and it started getting tough
because, yeah, we had mama dude who's seven-five,
but it's like him him but him alone where you got it's different though he's 7 5 catch it
turned and dunk and he's not 7 71 stretching it out to the three point line they can put it on the
floor like he low key became a liability because he couldn't guard their seven footers you know what
I'm saying so like we had to do a lot of helping for him but we needed his size you know what I'm
saying and then I had a lot of out of body experience like just pulling up from places where
people like what is he doing and it's
cashing or like
you know what I'm saying like layups
where I you know what I'm saying just throw
the floater up because the seven footer is
there and it just dropped right over the top
of them or like even once
I even
on the game winner or the one where
where we
where I had all the 21 points or whatever
like I even like
hit a three like
and like walked off like
you know what I'm saying like that's good
Like you know what I'm saying like feeling myself type of deal and it was just like all right like yeah you know what I'm saying so when you be having those moments
yeah not for sure my mom loved the hoops like she loves sports like she ain't never have a team her team was whatever team playing yo team because she was just a competitor like if i if i like the tar heels and the tar heels could be playing Purdue she's going for Purdue come on let's go Purdue Carolina could be up by 30 and it's just like that's all right Purdue about to come back like
You know what I'm saying?
And like, even with my dad team play, like my dad love the Steelers.
The Steelers, whoever the Steelers play is she don't like.
I mean, she liked whoever the Steelers playing.
Like, all right, they play the 49ers.
I like the 49ers.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Like, that's how she was.
She was just a competitor.
She didn't play any sports, but the mentality, I think that's where I got that.
Not necessarily from my dad.
I think I got the attributes, like the talent actually from him.
But the mentality, I think that was all mom.
Like, yeah.
That's far, man.
That's dope, man.
Man, this has been a, I'm not gonna say it, one of our better interviews, I think, so far.
Oh yeah, bro, bro, real.
And I'm glad the people out there who don't get to see this side of you, who just see a lot of the other stuff and have the, you know.
But I mean, that's what I try to, you know, I try to let that be known in the video.
I try to keep it real, like, you know what I'm saying?
I didn't got my ass bust, but I didn't busts the lot of niggas ass.
So, you know what I'm saying?
Like, I keep it real.
That's the reason we started no jumpers sports, bro,
because we wanted to give a platform for y'all to talk that shit
and tell these type of stories, you know what I mean?
We would never know.
Yeah, no, because y'all videos, y'all hooping.
You feel what I'm saying?
Or you're showing a day in the life,
but it's like you never get the opportunity to just sit down and just...
Yeah, and just chop that shit up, not for real.
Like, I was talking about this with them earlier.
I think one of my favorite things about this time that we're living in is,
you know, I think before it was just like,
okay, if you want to make a living or have a life in basketball, it's like automatically
you got to go to the NBA, you know?
And honestly, I kind of even have like, I take a little bit of issue with the word
semi-pro because to me it's just like I'm going to emphasize the word pro more than anything.
And to me it's just great that even if you don't make it to an NBA or whatever,
you could take this game and you could do what you love and it's going to provide a life
for you.
You can travel the world.
Man, how many other ways could you have gone to China?
You know what I mean?
No, for sure.
like that even now bro like just as much as people call it internet hoopers like bro like
that shit pay the bills bro like me and my girl don't be stressing we got a roof over i here we
eat good like nice clothes on our back like we know choice of choice yeah not yeah that's what i'm
saying bro but like people like from the outside world who play basketball kind of like oh you're
You're an internet hooper, you're a YouTube hooper.
And it's like...
What they want you to do now.
You know what I'm saying?
Don't get mad because I'm smart and I know how to...
Monetize off basketball without being in the NBA.
Like...
Come on now.
Just because I put my skill on YouTube, I'm not who I really supposed to be.
Man, what?
Has he got...
The only thing...
But what people fail to realize is the only difference between, like, your hot sauces
and your Ayo's and your main...
and you know your your old and one guys and NBA guys is opportunity that's the only difference
opportunity you got cats who grew up in certain neighborhoods only play basketball in that area
in that hood so you only exposed to those people whereas you got people like kari irvin who
they take them out of the hood put them in a private school take them all over the place so everybody
can be exposed to them now voila you know what I'm saying like whereas what people
don't know I actually locked up in the gym with Carrie Irvin me Devin in the lab
poo jettor I mean poo snickens wait yeah I play once worked out with Carrie
Irvin like yeah in the lab with death oh my god yeah actually yeah bro yeah I
actually cool dude cool as fuck like cooler than the other side of the pillow like
Like, I had to wake up at six in the morning to fucking go do it.
But it was like, like, literally, like, my girl are intense.
Like, I got the text at fucking 455.
I don't even know how to fuck I was up.
Dev was like, shit, Carrie, about to pull up to the gym 5.30.
You could be here.
Like, I got out of bed like a little-ass kid on Christmas, nigga.
It's like a goal.
Bro, like, I literally hop out of the bed like a little-ass kid on Christmas, fucking.
Got in the shower.
That's wild.
out of that motherfucker.
It's like a goal
that you can't set for yourself.
Nah, but the seed part...
And it just happens
and he's like, hell, I'm gonna be here.
Like, I can't even tell you why the
fuck I woke up at that time
or morning. Like, I...
My phone always on silence because I hate
like being somewhere and then that shit going
and everybody looking at you like,
bro, whose phone is that and shit?
Like, I hate that.
So my shit is always on...
If I don't see it like this,
you know what I'm saying?
But I'm always on my phone.
So nine times out of 10, I'm gonna see that shit.
It's been this on.
You know what I'm saying?
But yeah, even when I locked up with Carrie Irvin,
like the most impressive part was I walked in that bitch
like on some, damn, how do I introduce myself?
Soon as I walk in, he goes, hey, yo, Hess.
Like, oh shit, we're doing nicknames.
My nigga, ain't even know you knew who I was.
Shit, what's up, Kyle?
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Then it was like love, bro.
Like really chopped games, show me shit.
But like, when we locked up, like,
Yeah.
I earn a respect.
Like we played five games, I think.
I won two.
I can't remember Poo one, two or Kari won two, but I definitely got two games.
We went to five.
And we played like five different spots.
I played against Kyrie, Poo Snickens.
They call him Poo Jeter because he fad, yeah.
Like, yeah.
And Dev like stepped in periodically because at the time, like, his knee was hurt.
Okay.
But like, yeah.
Yeah, we play ones. I got a game or two. Yeah. I mean, seeing this kind of enthusiasm you have and the kind of like the opportunities and stuff you talk about.
Well, there's no cap, so it's just, yeah.
I mean, to me, this is the proof that, like, like, you said, like, there's people who, you know, they try to criticize the internet hoopers.
Like, to me, that's like, what you're like, what you're saying to me, people who got a chance to do that.
It shows me that those people that criticize you, like, that's corny, bro.
Like, they don't understand.
Like, they're corny, bro.
Like, if they're not getting that, you win it.
It don't matter.
Like, what else are you doing?
You live and how you want to live.
People, like, and then it's like, you know what I'm saying?
His people kind of like holding the, like, like, won't.
let us use the footage as needed.
But it's because, you know, at the time,
he was going through this whole COVID protocol.
So I got it.
It's like, bro, we don't want to mess up anything you got going
because you was in the gym just trying to get better with us.
You know what I'm saying?
So it's like, bro, if you don't want us to post the footage
on Instagram, like, bro, I won't post anything
to just be able to have that experience
and to know that I'm in good graces with you, bro.
Like I was even trying to like sneak
and show my dad, bro, like on the FaceTime before.
And brother's like, shit, what's up, pops?
And so I showed my dad, because he could like hear me like,
yo, dad, look, Kyrie, like, you know what I'm saying?
He was like, what's up, pops?
And I, like, show my dad, Kyrie.
And Kyrie, like, he was cool as hell, bro.
Like, we actually chopped it up longer than we worked out.
Like, bro is like, dope as fuck.
He's a reader, like, all type of shit.
Like, he cool.
Like, he's not what you would expect from an NBA superstar.
are like no offense bro I love Alan Iverson to death as a player but like I had a bad experience
with Alan Iverson and it wasn't even me like yeah my little cousin's seeing them in the mall I didn't
even recognize them you know what I'm saying my little cousin was like hey that's Alan
Iverson and I was like go ask him for a picture ask you guys for an autograph he was like on some
nah nah nah nah it's like bro had it been me asking you I get you on some nah nah nah
And you're a grown-ass man asking me for,
but because it was my little cousins,
like, come on, bro.
Like, at least it don't take but two seconds
to scribble some shit or take a picture.
And I know that from now being in that position.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Do you hear this?
It don't take but two seconds, though, bro.
Like, sign these people's shirts, show-in-love.
It just take two seconds, though, bro.
Because I remember times when niggas wasn't showing love.
You know what I'm saying, bro.
When niggas wasn't showing love,
niggas was like wishing niggas was asking for autographs and shit so it's like bro you know what
i'm saying i know when you get to a bigger scale you got to kind of like set time aside for that
shit but yeah it's the kids yeah but like it's the kids and i guess because that's who my following really is
like all the little kids own ball his life like oh he's cold he's nice you know what i'm saying like
i guess that's why i appreciate it so much and that's who that's who that's who we gonna have to that's who
care of us so the least I could do is inspire them in a correct way versus you know
what I'm saying like is them the ones gonna be taken care of us when we get old them
gonna be the ones maintaining what we doing right now even he's gonna be the ones
doing the podcast and you know what I'm saying like the new generation know about
us yeah not for sure what are some of your hobbies besides whooping
uh bro I'm really a smoker uh
For real, for real.
Like, uh, I like music, bro.
I'm really like a chill dude, bro.
I don't do a whole lot.
Like, I watch, I like to watch basketball, like, even like, just those little highlight mixes with the music behind them on YouTube.
Like, I don't necessarily watch people's channel.
Like, even my own channel, I don't really like watch channels.
Like, if a certain videos, people talking about, like, with the internet basketball, I'll go to it.
But I really like post and go.
Yeah, bro. I really just watch like the mixes, the Karee mixes in like the Maximilian,
whoever he is, bro, I've probably seen every highlight mix of every player he's made, bro.
Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, but that's what I be on. Like, I watch music videos. Like,
I'm a huge currency fan. That's my favorite rapper.
Yeah, yeah, like that's, that's my thing. That's crazy. Actually, we got a gift for you after this.
Oh, me. Yeah, that's my favorite.
rapper bro like uh did you have i legit like like my girl like knows bro like she legit knows half of bro
catalog because that's all i listened to yeah did you turn up on the smoking even more when
you moved to callie uh did you have like some adjustment to like oh this callie we crazy
no bro i wasn't smoking as good i was smoking as often though because i was the guy to come get it from so
And I was getting it from here, but what I learned is y'all never send us what y'all smoking.
Y'all send us.
Don't let them sick us out, man.
Don't let them sick us out, man.
Bro, I'm just, I'm from North Carolina, bro.
I'm from North Carolina, bro.
Y'all never send us.
Y'all never send us what y'all smoking.
But you know what I'm saying?
We're charging A1 prices.
We're not sending A1.
You feel me?
And it's not that what y'all sending it, not good because we're smoking the Lout of that shit.
And we're selling it.
And we're selling it.
We're getting it all.
So it's not that we complain in, but it's just like, come on, man.
I know.
When I come in town, man, this be so totally different.
Even the out of town, niggas got smart and just started coming to get it themselves.
Oh, yeah, yeah, that's the move.
Yeah, that's just ain't got smart.
I mean, the stuff's so much better, so much cheaper.
It was a eyes opening.
I remember when you came out here and I saw his adjustment to it.
It took a week.
It took a hard week.
But my first day.
But he hit his stride with it, though.
We smoked seven months.
I mean, I went for smoking like a bowl pack.
It was a weed hazing he went through.
To be real, which, he went through a weed hazing.
Yeah.
Yeah, I ain't even on.
Like, that's what I was on back at the crib.
Yeah.
I think I'm able to smoke more now, though,
because I play more.
Like, back then I wasn't, bro,
I would hoot when they was gambling.
Like, hey, we're shooting for money or,
hey, bro, they wanna play two on two for a band.
All right, you know what I'm saying?
Like, that's the only time you could get me
to come play basketball in North Carolina.
or if it was like my college teammates hooping but I'm taking that was you ever
doing that when you was younger was you like like younger and then just like beating up on older
dudes like at the park taking that grand true story bro all boys got a shot because
like a group they was gambling and I was like 10 I was like 10 they was playing with my
cousins they was gambling with some dudes from another neighborhood
they didn't know I could you know I didn't know I could get buckets
like that or whatever and so like long story short I killed them they was like
they snatched the money and we took off or whatever and long story short
it was like anybody here when I come back and damn real movie yeah I was
riding through the hood like oh man out the window type shit and we like
running and ducking between houses but like I had an uncle who like worked at a
barber shop right down the street from our grandma house and so we like kind of
just ducked off in there but
I was literally riding through the hood like on some crazy shit like speeding through and shit like man he lost his money
and shit like for real my older cousins bro no lie man he like nine he like nine years older to me yeah so
that's what's so man out here in these streets with hezie got to be like in motion and hit him with a hezie
you got to have breaks you have to have to have
breaks bro so I'm seeing oh oh you got to have breaks and some people that don't have
breaks they get done like this and that's when you get hesitant and then everybody
love to talk about their fucking push bro but Michael Jordan's most infamous move was that
bro 100% was that bro so like it's like it's like praise when it's certain people and then it's like
Like, oh, fuck him.
Hey, man.
I'm not even going to cap.
That's my goal to.
There you go.
They know it Russell was over there looking crazy, leaning like this, talking about it.
No, bro.
Check this out.
That's it.
That's it.
That's that joy.
Bro, that's all she wrote, bro.
Do you remember that play?
Oh, yeah.
Come on now.
That's you got to have breaks.
A lot of people got wheels, but the break.
You got wheels.
breaks is just as important, if not more.
That shit was amazing as a kid, though, like, just seeing that shit, like,
oh, bro, he'd a goat.
Like, I remember, like, gathering on the weekends to watch, like, NBA finals, like,
game sixes and game sevens.
Well, he didn't go to no game seven, so game sixes.
So what, like, what else you got that's, like, kind of like, you know,
like, what do you want people to be paying attention to you right now?
Like, what's a big thing?
priority wise I'm really working on like doing the whole traveling thing like with a team I'm not
gonna put out what team I'm gonna be like doing and traveling with but like yeah that's really
the next step like really continuing to grow the platform I'm not even gonna lie like the goal
is to getting the big three and like kind of be like to the skip to my loo of this generation
like you know what I'm saying like you see me on the big stage but then when you pull up at the
and see me, I'm still pulling out all the tricks.
Like, it's like nothing changes, but I do want to show people like I can play basketball
on a higher level.
Like I'm so sick of the, he plays nobody comments because half the people in the videos are
somebodies, you just don't recognize them from the videos.
Like it's a lot of D1 people playing big places.
It's a lot of ex pros, pros, like, you know what I'm saying?
You just don't recognize them or they may not have been a high-
stature in that field.
There's always been Hoopers have been street legends.
You know what I'm saying?
And so I kind of want to be in that realm.
Like, uh, a low key want to step into the space of getting my own strand.
Like I think that'd be dope for like a basketball player, like a YouTube basketball player
in a sense to like step out.
Yeah, for sure.
Before we in this interview has to become a thing.
That's right.
Before we in the interview, bro, is there a way that.
the no jumper sports and our fan base can help you get voted into the big three do they have
votes i don't know if they have votes it's really on your game it's really based on my game uh go crazy
on the comments yeah bro just go crazy on the comments bro like yeah yeah yeah yeah not for sure
yeah on the big three man yeah on the big three page go spam hazy guy let him know let's make it a movement

The one you probably just watched
is probably no. I'm talking about the one
on the way way. You're teasing.
Yeah, you know what I mean? You want to get the little
tease. I'm on YouTube now. I'm
man I'm not gonna leave bread crows we jump into the next episode
bad j how did that feel no cab bro oh that was your first interview man that was it was great
and uh I got I feel lucky because I mean honestly he made that easy you know it was just
an easy conversation easy flow and uh he had a lot of good shit to say me a lot of good
insight I think uh that's gonna be a good version of him for people to see man and maybe
they're not going to get that side just looking at his IG and shit you know straight up
Straight up watching his YouTube.
You're going to see him yelling at people, bawling out.
But at least his game back it up, though.
You feel what I'm saying?
His game actually backs up the shit he'd be talking about.
And I wanted to say, man, shout out to you, Hesigot,
and we appreciate you for coming through.
Shout out Hesigot.
As he got.
Because that interview, bro, flame bombs.
Straight up.
Flame bombs.
We don't even have the soundboard.
We just need Kiki.
And, oh, let's talk about that.
How did y'all like the interview without the,
sound board because y'all be on me man oh this horn this horn we knocked it out the park
you made enough noise i'm not gonna lie we did it you definitely made your own noises so we need to
clip some of those for the future soundboard oh yeah yeah you might have made some new ones
there's a couple of times you kept like looking over to me you would say you did what and i was
living here bam bam bam and nothing so like i felt like a little bit of space there but i thought
You did a great job without it.
You made your own sound effects, which I think are better.
You should do that the rest of this one.
We won't even plug it in.
What's so fucking crazy is I don't even remember
making my own sound effects.
So that's just ski business.
So that's time.
You don't remember the brakes.
Oh yeah.
Okay, okay, okay.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Now, you're coming with the brakes.
You're coming with him.
Hey, we got to add on a soundboard, man,
the sports sound board.
You're coming.
It's coming.
I don't like me.
There's no more.
We got to get that out of here, man.
I think that one still plays.
Man.
Hey, so one thing I wanted to talk about, y'all, is Tiger Woods is going for his sixth master.
Did y'all know that?
Yeah.
It's about to go up.
What do y'all think?
Do you all think Tiger still got it?
Well, I mean, he won the Masters in 2019 when everyone had counted him out.
That was after the 14-year.
Yeah, that big, big-hagnet.
That car accident that he got in, like, arms, legs.
I don't think we really know like the extent of it.
So expecting him to just be eligible, this crazy, him to come out and win it, I mean, yes, will I put money on Tiger Woods to win?
If he plays a hundred times out of a hundred.
But I don't think he'll win.
I mean, he's Tiger.
You know, it's like it's not about like what he's been doing lately.
He always got it in him that he could show up at any moment, you know?
And I mean, golf is a very one-man sport.
And you could have a great day.
You can have an upgrade day, but the Masters is like
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Three, four, to great days, you know what I mean?
You got to make the cut.
You need another green jacket, man.
I think he should get it, man.
Green jacket, gold jacket.
Oh, yeah.
It was tight.
I was watching ESPN another day, and that's what they was talking about,
and it showed, like, how he won his first one and his father was there.
Mm-hmm.
And then this last recent one that he had won, like, his son was there.
The son was there.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It was the same, like, I was actually watching that with, like, with my kids and
watching that.
And I like, that's the only time I've ever gotten emotional watching golf was watching Tiger
win that last one.
See?
Everyone roots or Tiger.
I was about to say, what's Tiger Woods to you?
Yeah, man.
What's Tiger Woods to you?
Do you have you ever pay attention to golf before Tiger Woods?
Shrimp fried rice or fried chicken?
You felled up to that's my favorite.
The racial draft.
That's my favorite Tiger Woods like, like, not going to say moment because that's, that would have been
meeting back in the day.
But that is what made me like,
I'm riding for Tiger Woods.
Fuck these jokes.
Tiger Wood is the goat.
He looked like my son's complexion.
He's with everybody.
What's wrong with him being for everybody?
For real.
Tiger Woods.
That's not even a name that you could put in a,
like a bow and be like,
oh, he's this or he's that.
You get what I'm saying?
Woods.
How many, I don't know, a gang of football players.
What's Woods?
Woods.
wood, light skin woods.
Oh my, I shouldn't even ask you.
Never mind. Thank you, bro.
I should have said hockey, huh?
I mean.
You would have been like, Gratsky.
That's not woods.
But anyway, like I was saying, man,
Tiger Woods to me, though, is the goat of golf.
Because I don't know anybody else that golfed.
So Tiger Woods.
So you don't pay attention to anyone who's playing at this point.
Me?
With golf?
Yeah.
No.
DJ Call at golf?
My favorite DJ Calvert, if that's what we're doing, is Ricky Williams.
Have you seen Ricky play?
Oh, man, we're talking about pros then.
I mean, if we're going to play with anyone or watch anyone,
you've got to go out there with Charles Barkley.
Bro, did you?
That's going to be the most entertaining round of golf.
He's breaking down like a 78 folks whack it.
I just want to like have him commentate my round of golf just to hear him talk shit.
Barkley talking about you.
Yeah.
Okay.
We got to jump up on the line.
I just want to hear him talk shit for three and a half,
hours.
Charles Barkley,
a go-to.
Mm-hmm.
I want to see,
or hear Michael Jordan
miced up playing golf.
Ooh.
That would be crazy.
Mike versus Chuck.
Shit.
All those bets,
all that shit talking.
Yeah.
Walking away this motherfucker
thinking.
Like they did with my
money and Manning and all those,
the rivalries.
Yeah, that would be crazy.
That would be a good one.
If that was a paper view,
they'd saw so many of those.
I mean, Tiger, though, man,
like, to go back to him,
like, honestly, bro,
like, he,
he changed the shit because even if,
like, you heard of golfers
and whatnot, like, nobody had, and it's crazy because it's like he's not necessarily
synonymous with swag, but in that world, in that lane, like, bro, he, yeah, he was the
dude.
He had, and even though, like, you know, what was his signature look?
What was he wearing?
Like, a red shirt on Sundays.
Yeah, you know, like, even just like that, like, I was a little thing, like, man, he
kind of made his own.
It's fucking, uh, he's the first person I ever heard any of my folks being like they
they wanted some Tiger Woods shoes.
Yeah.
Golf shoes in general.
That's crazy.
The Tiger Woods shoes, bro.
I never had those.
I was going to actually...
You got a dope little logo and shit?
Mm-hmm.
Actually, you'd go crazy over my golf shoes.
They're Pumas.
Actually, T-Rell will go crazy over them.
Okay.
Shout out to T-Rill.
You'll see why one day.
I'll bring them out.
That's right.
Drop that little sprinkle.
Go up with the cleats.
Bro.
The other night,
Kyrie Irvin went crazy.
Like, my God.
Bro, it was like he wouldn't even.
even playing against nobody, bro.
I'm telling you, bro, I think, I don't want to quote it,
but I think he had 45 last night.
Tyree been a clutch player most of his career.
Now that he's actually playing on a regular basis,
which is good to see for him, the league.
Hey, they're in a tight playoff race.
The East is super competitive.
You know, my Celtics are sitting nice in second place right now.
We're looking for the postseason who we got to play.
I know I definitely don't want to play.
Are you going to bet on them with my bookie?
Yeah, yeah.
We're obviously going to make all of our bets with my bookie.
For sure, my budget.
And I'm putting all of it on the future for the Celtics once they're in the playoffs.
But speaking of the playoffs.
Oh, man.
I know what's coming.
Today is Wednesday.
We're filming this is dropping Sunday.
So it's been probably three, four days now that the Lakers have been eliminated from the playoffs.
LeBron will not be in the postseason.
You're going to be talking about my Lakers, man.
Lakers are just, man, no, their seasons
over at this point.
You play for a lottery pick, but I haven't seen you up here
with a fucking Boston jersey, not once.
No.
Not one cell.
It's in his heart.
It's in his heart.
Fuck that.
You got to spend money on it.
All right.
He probably got some jerseys.
I actually have no jerseys.
No, he'll be basketball jersey.
I have as a no jumper basketball jersey.
Okay, okay.
That's cool.
It's got a little Zan on the back, though.
But does it, as a, as a, as a Lakers fan,
Does it sting, though?
It hurts, man.
So just to sit here.
With this squad, especially, with LeBron,
I mean, how many of these years?
Especially here in L.A.
Does that matter?
Hater.
I'm just curious.
My thing is...
Non-Lakers fan, not from L.A.
Okay, so it hurts.
Having a team eliminated from the playoffs,
I don't know what any of this is like.
Let me talk.
Why don't you?
It hurts, man.
So to sit here and just look you in the face right now,
and you talking about the Lakers like this.
Look around, bro.
Gold.
Purple on the wall.
Gold.
That's all I see.
And you just go sit here and bow.
They know where we're at.
They know where we at.
But no, man, I'm going to keep it 100, though.
It hurts because we actually have some fire athletes, bro.
And it's just like, damn, bro.
Some all-time legends.
So let me talk about them before you bash him while I keep talking.
He had an ad-lib king.
I mean, I think the legend is a pretty nice word, but you can redefine the go.
So look.
you have Russell, bro.
You have AD who which was hurt.
Okay, I don't want to start to making the excuses
because it hurts as a fan, as a Laker.
I wanted to be a Laker.
So look, even watching winning time, bro,
and just seeing how this cookie is crumbling.
You feel what I'm saying?
It hurts, bro.
It couldn't be no better time for winning time to come out.
I know.
If it would have been real winning time today,
it would be a whole different story for that show.
You feel what I'm saying?
And then you just, everything around the Lakers right now is just hurtful, bro.
You just take it to the crypto.org.net.com.
Center.
You get what I'm saying.
They should have kept it to staples, bro.
You get like, bro, it don't pop.
Crypto.com don't pop for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Don't you think it would have been cool to...
You see how I'm running from what you asked me?
The forum is something more historic than just.
just naming it after the highest bidder again.
Say it again, say it again.
Calling it something like the forum
or the new forum or something that plays off
like the history of that shit,
like I feel like that would be a lot cooler
than going over to the classic just brand.
I would have a,
although you got the money
that's, you know, it's a, yeah.
Like it's the TD Bank North Garden,
but it's still the garden.
Nobody calls it, it's the garden.
Exactly, you know.
Right.
It could have just, man, we could.
What would you would, well, no,
because you were like her hater.
Oh, you would be like the,
but.
But as a Laker hater,
my hate and respect for them goes up simultaneously
while we're watching a winning time right now.
No, for real, though.
Like, it said all the time.
Like, I've learned more about the Lakers
than I ever knew just going back and watching videos
and highlights shit.
So let me stop running from the question, man.
We got Russell, we got A.D., we got Brian,
and we got the dude Malik Monk.
I feel like he's, like, a big piece to the puzzle.
And I feel like, man,
We can't let that youngster down because his confidence on the court is crazy,
like crazy coming in.
So shout out to you.
And then his confidence off the court is what I will be worried about because he's surrounded
by all these guys.
That's the guys.
And it's like, we're losing.
You get what I'm saying?
And that actually makes stars in those moments because it's like, bro, I'm all right,
I'm the young gun.
Don't, y'all is just going to be mad at me because I'm shooting.
And it's just like, I feel like, bro, they need to like stop fucking complaining.
I'm going to keep it real, bro.
I'll be seeing, I watch the Laker games and they'd be doing a lot of complaining, bro.
Like, not saying, Brian.
The older guys?
Yeah, like, for real, for real.
They're starting to, like, put shit off on the teammates.
And it's just like, I'm watching it.
Like, nah, bro, get your ass over there and set the pick too.
Like, okay, the play got busted, but make an athletic play now.
You feel what I'm saying?
Don't just go off and then the ball go out of bounds
and motherfuckers is looking at people like,
no, bro, this is a team fucking sport, bro.
Pick these fucking pieces together, man.
It's a team sport, but like, okay, just...
It's a small team.
Okay, so there's seasons over,
they're not going to playoffs.
Automatically they got to start thinking about next year.
Do you think the pressure on LeBron
is just, like, going to be extra crazy now?
Hell yeah.
Like, I mean, I feel like, I mean, he's so far ahead
like in a lot of terms where I don't think he's going to necessarily tarnish his legacy.
I know a lot of people are kind of tripping that, you know, he's being a little pet.
He's chasing Kareem when he should have been focused on on the team, but whatever.
But I still think, you know, he's going to be easy.
He's a living legend.
So he's always going to be a legend.
But next season, I feel like, man, he going to really have to show out more than just his skills.
It's going to be a lot of other shit.
He's going to show up team building.
Mark my word.
Next year, he's going to be like three times better.
for show.
And then my thing is...
Why do you think he's going to be three times better?
Because I know it.
As he gets older, you know, those are all things you need to consider.
I mean, he is playing significantly...
I mean, he's not going to play the postseason, so you don't have...
What do they play seven games last year?
Before getting taken out by the sun?
He's asked me why, right?
So let me answer why.
I'm just curious as, you know, as you get older.
It's his track record, bro.
He's done it before numerous of times.
Every time he missed the playoffs since his review.
See, that's what we're talking about.
Missing the playoffs.
playoffs let me stay on course what you just asked me we heard his back where we
see his background he's known for doing it right or wrong and I want to know
how is how did how did huh doing what going the playoffs like being up under like a
gang of fucking flame and proving people wrong he took he took so much shit from
going to Miami bro to all he shouldn't left Cleveland he should know he went
over there and won everybody was mad at that and then he went back and won everybody
mad at that I don't but people
You get what I'm saying?
I think we're not even showing his journey respect by what you're saying.
I feel like that's one of the things that people actually give LeBron respect for is going back to Cleveland and giving them one.
I think so for sure.
I think that like actually won a lot of people over that.
I mean, because you got to remember when he left Cleveland, how insane that was, bro, burning the jerseys, all that shit.
And then he came back and gave back to that community, bro, in a major way.
I mean, long enough to give him a championship and get the fuck out of town again.
Right.
And then goes to what?
But the thing is, it's always, like, man, he's supposed to be in the playoffs.
Like, what does that do?
What does that do to him mentally?
You know what I mean?
Like, Brian to be in the playoffs?
Right, man.
Is he in the gym?
All I'm saying is, when he's under, like, fire, he prevails.
Except for this year.
Just this year.
I feel like that's been a story for, like, the last, like, month, month and a half
that is just everyone watching the Lakers.
But you got to embrace it, man.
To me, if you really a legend and you want to be that extra caliber, you got to come back.
You got to get knocked down to show that how you didn't just get back on your feet to get knocked back down again.
But you can come back on your feet and you're going to come out swinging hard.
All right, but does he come back with this team?
Oh, yeah.
No, no, no, no, the Lakers.
Yes, he's coming back with the Lakers, but his supporting cast.
Who's on the roster?
His supporting cast that he brought in.
Like these guys?
Yeah, who's.
I think they'll be there.
All of them?
If other people want to leave, then they're going to.
going to leave, but. Why? That's a non-answer.
Who's going to stick around?
The same people that's there.
I don't think nobody want to leave.
Why would you want to leave LeBron James?
But does LeBron want them there?
I don't have no clue. I'm not LeBron.
But if you're asking me from a standpoint of people...
You expect them to be better next year without making any roster changes?
Yeah.
AD was hurt.
How do you get the fucking offense into jail like that off of your one of your biggest
pieces being heard? It just don't snap like that.
Russell Westbrook comes in during the season,
it just don't snap like that.
You get what I'm saying?
It takes time for shit to happen.
You feel what I'm saying?
Jordan.
You see what happens this off season, you know?
Yeah, Phil Jackson didn't just win off just pulling up.
And you know what I mean?
It took time.
Michael Jordan got cut.
Look what happened.
Took time.
Greatest basketball player in the world.
Patience is power, my friend.
And it's, you know,
what's funny is like,
If so, if you are watching the winning time right now, you know, it's crazy.
Okay.
Well, I'm not trying to jump into like the show talk or whatever, but just the, I mean,
I was talking about in terms of like if you just paying attention to the Lakers story,
like you might have not, if you don't know exactly what happened and you just like learning about it now,
you might have thought, oh, magic just came into the league and started winning.
You know, he came off winning a college title.
But it was like, oh, clearly that's actually not the case.
Like, you know what I mean?
You would have thought he would have came to the team and been like,
The focus.
Yeah, they had to put it.
They had to put some years in before they got that title.
I would have never in a million years thought he was taking Kareem orange juice and newspapers.
Being his rookie?
Yeah, I thought that was super interesting.
Hell no, bro.
Do you think that was true?
Or do you think that they put that in the show?
Well.
For real.
Well, I think.
I don't think everything that, I don't think it's like an actual historic.
Yeah, they dramatize some shit, but I can see that.
Clearly.
Being the thing because especially because, you know what I mean?
mean like maybe kareem was also like man i'm gonna do this for norm too like man we both gonna
like he's gonna come in here and do that and then you know the way the new coach was taken to him
he probably was like i could see him riding a little harder on the new coach new owner everyone
love magic because at that point it's like leadership is extra in the air like oh shit west ain't
here to really you know oh he's here but look at him he even he getting kicked out the gym
i wonder if that was real do you think he was uh pulling up i can believe closed practice gyms being
like a conversation because you hear about that all the time right they proved why but i don't think
he was getting kicked out though i could see it who jerry west bro but if jerry west was there and
continuously like overstepping and trying to like take the players back and he did just quit and
you have a new owner yeah yeah that was a part where he's just like yep closed practice
yeah at that point everything's kind of new bro when as soon as that happened i'm like well he did quit
You found I'm saying you walked away from the game you walked away from the team
So now I'm gonna put you out that's crazy
I know that got hurt oh for show for sure yeah bro did you see how you put that new system in today
And they in they plan the way they was playing yeah oh yeah oh my god he was a genius he was ahead of this time
Really like seeing the fluid motion of the game using the speed the size all the advantage and just I mean embracing everybody in the dust
the evolution like the evolution was happening but it was it's crazy to me to see that uh that even
the players in the league like the way they referred to street basketball like how negative that was
but not realizing like bro that's what's going to change the game that's what's going to elevate
the game and actually like make this shit entertaining and now look at like the fucking nobody in present
day is ever going to like imagining that the NBA is going to fall below golf and popularity yeah you know
what I mean like that just is not a world we live in no more it can't not unlike and it's
because of that kind of who world yeah bro go go don't set up don't pass them the ball
they stop you past the bar and seeing how they couldn't get that blew my mind because you
got coached that way running gun right and it just made me realize like they created the new
era of basketball, bro.
This dude created the new wave of basketball.
And then his face turned into a fucking cheese grater.
Whoa.
That was wild, bro.
Spoiler.
Spoiler, after the fact.
Spoiler, after the fact.
I hope everyone's watched this point or don't give a fuck,
but that caught me off guard.
Again, I'm on Google going,
this this bike accident happened.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I did the same.
I did the same.
If this didn't happen, this plus something else happened,
and they kind of combined stories,
but, like, he definitely got in a bike accident
and mashed his face on the concrete.
Whacked his shit in, bro.
I was like, wait, he just slid.
He just slid like he was going in the home base, bro.
Like, what the heck is going on?
It looked nasty, man.
That shit looks so nasty.
And he was shoulder in slow-mo, like him,
just his legs did up to his knee.
I was like, ooh.
On the first shot, you.
You just see the streak of jelly coming off his face.
Honestly, that's the thing I liked about this episode was they added this like darker element.
Well, dude, they ended two episodes ago murdering someone in a truck.
Well, exactly.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But that kept it going.
And like, to me, seeing like your main character bus, you know, like, I mean, he's been proven to be resilient, resourceful, all these crazy things.
And now, yeah, now you're starting to see that.
the chinks in the armor a little bit you're starting to see him crack a little bit but the uh the shit
inside the forum club when i mean it was it was crazy because he had just a conier moment but bro he had
just got blessed by showing him like look what we got man the club is all intact exactly what you
wanted and peep these laker girls and then he went for he just flipped the switch
paula abdur starring paula abd yeah yeah we had a lot of uh
fucking the bar it's not flush it's not flush she was going crazy having a stray you go get a sander like
that's the least of your words if it was too short you got yourself a problem there you got to
get the whole new door it's a little long man you bust that out yourself i mean it's just in the
grand scheme of all the problems he really had that was such a nothing but if anything that just
showed you that was probably the straw that broke the camel back for him like it wasn't even
that big a and he was coming off a couple of ws like like oh things are looking good here we
about to you know we turn it in tide we on a good one right yeah but you know yeah it's it's a lot of
crazy shit man and shit with the mom and yeah i was my i was watching it with my girl and my girl
her automatic thing was when a genie bud showed up at the house the grandma's house to pick her up
and she was like who's smashing grandma right now because that's what she came out the room
looking at like i was expecting that too like all right who's coming out are you here
I was like
Is she getting smashed or is she just really
Or is she like old and like senile
Yeah I thought that too
I was like she got dementia
Yeah she flipped the script on that one
Yeah
Oh the game
Who cares about that?
Who cares about that
He's only gonna come around
When he's down
You don't need you when he's up
I'm like damn
The shit was
It was a crazy episode man
The ending definitely
Yeah it really
Yeah thanks for not spoilt for me all week too
I just caught up with it yesterday.
They're looking, Jay, yeah, for real.
He didn't spoil it for me.
And these drop on Sunday, so really, this ain't a spoiler.
You got all week to watch it.
If you're watching it, you know.
We're talking about last week's episode at this point.
Yeah, you feel I'm saying?
So this is what you got to do.
Time machine.
Tap in the no jumper sports on the Sunday.
Mm-hmm.
And trickle over right to winning time.
Oh, bro.
Run them back, however you want to.
Yep, yep, yep.
Yeah.
Apparently.
Same day.
I know, we're watching them whenever, but yeah.
I'm watching them Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.
I wanted to talk to you all about, how do y'all feel about the duo, C.J. McCullum and Brandon Egram, though.
What do you think about them?
Me?
What do you think of the team?
What do you think of their situation?
That's a bad podcasting, bro.
I just asked you a question.
So, they'll let me know you don't know who they are.
I know exactly who they are.
I know that they play in Portland.
I just, I don't have, I haven't watched a whole lot of Portland games this year.
year. See? I mean, I'm a Lillard fan, so for sure I'm watching Portland. I mean, I mean, hey, I want to see, I want to see Dame get a ring. So, I mean, look, I'm down. Like, let's, let's, whatever we got to do to the chemistry, change up some team. Like, for show, dang, Portland is, I'm sorry to, like, hurt y'all. They ain't going to be able to do it because C.J. McCullum is now playing with Brandon Ingram. You feel what I'm saying? In the NO. In the NO. No. Yeah, right now.
and they are looking tremendous.
Yeah.
They are looking tremendous.
Is that what you riding with now?
No.
I've just, I have been a Brandon Ingram fan.
Since the luggage.
And I always like paid attention to C.J. McCollum.
Because he's a bucket, bro.
It's like he always, not like that, he always bailed Damien out.
Yeah, yeah.
Whenever he's not saying it was like a bailout because that's his teammate and that's who he's supposed to go to.
Yeah.
That's plan B. Straight up.
You feel I'm saying?
So.
just to see them going at people like like they're literally like they gave a problem to uh the bulls
like a real life problem they're in the playoffs right now that's what i'm saying bro i'm watching
these games today they're there i've been paying attention to y'all y'all want us to tap into a little
bit more sports so y'all see we right here i think they got that bottom spot right now right
bro they in there and bulls ain't too far behind they're all kind of they had they started all the year off hot hot
hot, but they have just been falling as the season's gone by.
They're in that second tier.
I don't know.
They're not wild card teams.
I don't know how the NBA actually separates.
They're in that second tier of playoffs.
Boys is up there, though.
They could be scary in playoffs.
Speaking of the Bulls, bro.
Demar, shout to you.
You keep doing your thing, man.
That's what I was saying, though.
That's what I was telling you, like, about this shit last or about two episodes
ago that certain players, you just can't stop them.
They go and do what they got to do.
You just got to stop those other guys.
That's how you win the game.
So speaking on that, how they've been, like, losing a little bit, right?
He goes off and they catch a L last night.
Bro, when I was watching this game, watching them lose like this,
I was so hurt because it was against the Bucks.
Milwaukee, like.
Milwaukee's one of the top team.
I mean, yeah.
But you feel what I'm saying?
Just seeing the homie because, you know,
they speaking about DeMars being a MVP candidate.
And then you facing like the MVP, like MVP.
So it was just like, come on, man.
I know y'all got them.
And it's just like, bro, they stopped his teammates.
You feel I'm saying?
They stopped his teammates, bro.
And it's like, damn, man, I wanted them to win that game.
But shout out to the boys, man.
Keep fighting.
I'm a Laker fan.
But for some odd reason, man,
y'all been my little second team to watch.
bro. Is that how you going to run with it in the playoffs? I would. I would. Just a simple fact they got they got hitters, bro.
They got hitters. Just a simple fact they'll be in the playoffs. Zach Levine. No, then I'm a right with
Compton. Demar from Compton. You feel I'm saying? Let me see that lighter. It's still LA.
You know what I mean? For real. And then he's going to bless us with an episode. You know what I'm saying? He's going to come
on. Oh man. Let's go. We need that. Yeah. My boy hit me up. My boy, shout out to Juan.
Juan is with his management team
and then he's his personal barber as well
he plugged us
It's good he said
Demar's gonna come but he after the way to the season is over
You know what I mean?
And we're gonna talk about how through
Demar, the Rosen alive
In the Summer League when he played with us at Dominguez bro
He's definitely gonna remember that
He has to
Mm-hmm
His big ski
And then you want me tell you how you're gonna remember it
It's because he left too
He left our team bro
He just walked out
No no no no
Oh, no.
That game.
Boom.
I'm the new guy.
Yeah, I'm out of here.
Y'all.
Thanks for the lob.
I'm gone.
Good looking.
I'm out of here.
Yeah, he would definitely remember that.
No, he played on our team at Dominguez Bro in the summer, probably for about two tournaments.
And then he just bounced.
He was part of Master P's little AAU team that he had going on.
So Master P had a kid, like, Baby Shack.
That's what they called him.
He was like 6-10, almost a footer.
footer, but like damn near four hundred pounds, bro.
Oh, wow.
Then he had this Hispanic kid by the name of Edgar, seven foot, went to Compton High.
Did he have an egger?
He had a fade.
Oh, man, he should have had the egger.
Shout out to the homie, because he's cool as hell.
Oh, I'm not going to lie to it.
But if he was Edgar with the Edgar?
It would be an egger with an egger.
So look, then he had Demar.
he had
Brandon Jennings
and you felt
that's how I know
all of this
little circuit right here
it was crazy
and then
Little Romeo
MasterP's son
so they come up
to my school
bro
and a big ass
tour bus
like it was like
a fucking movie scene
bro
and all you see
his baby Shack
come off first
Demar is there
they there
to watch us
practice
because little
Romeo was going
to check into
our school
bro
crazy
what happened
it was
Compton. You feel what I'm saying?
They didn't realize that before.
What they got to the lunch area?
Nope.
What the fuck?
Masterpiece it, man.
They couldn't even make it to the gym, bro.
You feel I'm saying?
So it was just like, and then you got real like, you know, gangsters and they're popping
up with Rolex watches and chains and it was just crazy.
But shout out to that, man, because that was a beautiful thing to see.
And I got to meet a lot of dope players that went to the NBA.
off that type of stuff.
But DeMarre, man,
keep going, bro.
You are doing stuff like that I wouldn't even
think of, bro.
I knew his pops, bro.
His pops used to be at every game
right there, focused.
You feel I'm saying?
And those be the people that make it.
I keep saying it, Richard Sherman.
Moms and pops at every game.
You see, has he got?
Moms and pops.
That shit is tight, bro.
He went to China.
He went to China.
Bro.
When you brought that up, I looked at him like, I looked at you like, bro, I was, that's exactly what I was thinking too.
Like, but it slipped my mind because he was an open book.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Y'all hearing about him with Kyrie, that was dope.
I really, I bit my tongue.
I was going to ask him if they talked about flat earth or if dinosaurs exist.
He's like, no, Kyrie's real cool.
We had some real good talks.
I'm like, what kind of talks you have?
He convinced you the earth was flat?
Yeah, I mean, it's kind of funny because it's like, but like he said, though, like,
Like, you know, I think it even speaks to like what he was talking about for himself.
It's like, you know, that's like you're like in the basketball world.
That's who you are.
You know, maybe for Kyrie is not just who he is as a hooper, but it's like all that other shit.
But it's like really, man, he's just a whole other person that the public's going to never know, man.
You know what I mean?
Like, and as it should be, bro, it's like we shouldn't have to know every single thing about him.
But it's kind of funny that like, I mean, because, yeah, I automatically think some fuck shit when I think about Kyrie sometimes.
But I mean, at the end of the day, I'm like, he.
That's his brand though.
He's a baller for show.
He hasn't shot away from that at all.
I kind of just like, I don't really want to care about the other shit.
Even though like, man, it's ridiculous.
No, it is.
That's too hilarious.
Like, you know, I mean, we get that a lot in here, bro.
Just, you know, there's a lot of people.
I'm feeling Gina's a flat earther.
Uh-oh.
I think God.
Confirm, Gina knows the Earth is around.
Oh, shit.
We gotta go with a, if we get Kyrie on here, we gotta take them to like an observatory.
Mm-hmm.
Is he going to explain to us how all the mirrors are making us believe what we're seeing?
Actually, I would want somebody, I would want him to try to convince me.
I want the argument.
I want to be convinced.
I want to go up in Bezos's ship that barely gets out the atmosphere just enough to call space, but just to show him.
Look, look, look.
It's round.
Look.
I mean, because there's plenty of pictures we can point to at this point, but, you know, clearly he don't believe it.
I just want to go up there with them.
Yeah, and just say, look.
It's round.
It's round.
But it's flat.
What if it's round and flat?
Because that's all you're going to point out to you.
He'll be like, it's not.
It's round, but it's flat.
Like a basketball.
It's like a place.
No, it's a plate.
It's a dish.
You know how I look at half court?
That's what that is.
Right there.
Oh, no problem, brother.
That's center court.
For real, for real.
Y'all know baseball started back today.
Today is Wednesday, tomorrow, Thursday, opening day.
So when this airs, we will have had opening day, yeah.
By Sunday, it'll be like two, three days into the season,
which is just about as much time as I care about baseball this early in the year.
For real, yeah, yeah.
It's like opening day in the first weekend, and then basketball playoff start,
hockey playoff start, super high intensity.
Then it's like end of June, July, and baseball's right there,
ready to pick you up.
They're like 60-something games into their season already.
I think that's the luxury of being a baseball fan is like you don't got to, like,
you don't invest heavily into the beginning of the season because like you can
you can still fuck with other sports.
You know what I mean?
Like you enjoy that.
And then it's like, man, it's such a long haul in baseball.
Like.
The marathon.
Yeah.
Exactly.
So all stretches.
Yeah.
And then finally when it's just baseball and you got the, I love the summers, bro.
I love baseball in the summer.
Yeah, man, summer ball is fire.
So we got to go to the games now.
man is back yeah we talked about it man we definitely got to do that I want to
go out there yeah I want to see a tiny bro I want to go out there for sure
you know that's first yeah we could go to a couple though I'm down to go to a
Dodgers games I've been to Dodgers games you should figure out when the Red Sox
play the Angels backs order Dodgers so you get your Dodger dog well yeah they're
more likely play the Angels though because A.L but we got to go to a Dodgers game
period just so you can get that out the way I've driven past the stadium probably
like 20 get him a Dodger dog
Yeah, I heard about them things.
Them things.
Them glizzies.
The mayo cover.
Bocene.
Glizzies.
Shout out to the Dodger dogs.
Yeah, we got to do a couple things, though, man.
It's just not baseball games, man.
Like we said earlier, we got to hit the Drew League.
You know, we got to get active, man.
I think maybe it would be interesting to see what you guys want us to go to in LA, though,
preferably, you know what I mean?
Yeah, make it easy on us out.
Yeah, man.
You know, Jason, let us know in the comments.
Shout it out.
I want to see us.
You know, we're already about to go hoop with Hezegai.
You feel what I'm saying?
We're going to do some one-on-ones.
We're going to hit Tyler up so you could, like, see what he does.
You feel what I'm saying?
And y'all can see these magnificent dunks, you know what I mean?
I'm going to do a couple of them.
I'm going to do a couple of them.
You feel what I'm saying?
I'm like, yeah, we should just join the seven-foot dunking league.
You feel I'm saying?
Oh, wait, you mean like a seven-foot?
No, that's what they be doing.
Yeah, I can dunk on a seven-footer.
Hell yeah.
With a trampoline?
Why would a trampoline?
I don't need a trampoline.
I was the same, man.
You need a trampoline with a seven-footer?
You know what I'm saying?
We're going to use a regular ball, too.
Yes, everything the same.
Well, I mean, if the hoop's smaller, don't you think, like, everything gets shrunk down in proportion?
Bro, it would be the same goal.
It's just raised lower.
Like, what do you mean?
You thought it was, like, the court we got here?
Yes.
Man, bro.
And over the door, motherfucking court.
Man, homie.
If it's not that, I don't know what my dunking abilities are, but.
Let's fucking go.
I'll start training now.
It's like a real court if we was to go to the park, but just lower.
So you feel?
I can almost hit rim right now.
What do you think I could?
Like if I jump, I can almost touch rim.
Hell no.
Yeah.
I'm pretty close.
I got ups.
I have to see this.
I can touch the backboard for easy.
I can almost touch room.
I ain't attempted in years.
You could tap the backboard.
And tap the backboard.
I want to bet you that you cannot tap the backboard.
How many attempts and how?
Ain't know how many attempts.
And how many runs?
You get one.
You got a warmup before you get there.
Hell no.
You just got to run to this park.
That is your warm up.
Do I get a running start?
Or do I have to just flat foot jump up?
Yeah, you get a running start.
But it ain't going to be from the out of balance line way back there.
You can't be from half court.
I'll give you from the three point line.
We good.
$100?
Or lunch?
Oh, you're touching backboard?
I'm going to tell you right now.
lunch, I'm going to make sure that bill over $100.
So your choice.
A lunch over $100.
Your choice.
Lunch over $100.
Jason, we're about to be good.
We're going to habachi for lunch.
No matter what.
All I know is it's about to be some good.
Exactly.
I was about to say it's going to be some good lunch going on because I'm
dropped dead serious.
We're literally going not in this interview, but when this is over.
At some point in the near
future. We are going to go.
See, yeah, I knew it. It's not today.
See? See? I thought we was
going right now, too, Gina. I'm not, man.
If I do it in the crox, I got
to get it a little bit more than that. Bro, we got Yery here.
He got high rollers on. Let's go.
Kelvin got Jordan's on.
Balsanova got his little Chuck Taylor's on.
You know how he'd do it.
What's up?
What do those have to do with me wearing
crocs right now?
You can attempt to touch the backboard.
All right, I'll attempt.
Let's go
The crocs got springs on them
All right, how about this?
Because I don't want you
Bear, not bare foot it,
but with my socks on,
I'll grab the rim and hang on it.
I heard you know you can do that.
That's right.
I'm glad you believe in your boy, man.
I was going to say, that's a given, man.
I was just going to say it.
I'm taking it over on that.
I'm betting you can do that.
On me, with ease, my boy.
And what I'm practicing now
is trying to do it all vert.
Like, I want to,
just be in like how I used to do in high school how you're standing there bro and just
and just poke one and then like that shit used to make us feel like we got bounced bro
and then remember we we was a little taller team so it's like if we could do that you're the
shortcut but like the third one you got i'm saying so it's just like if you know you could grab the
rebound and just literally power back up oh my gosh you bow wow yeah
Yeah.
Appreciate that, Josh, man.
It ain't always be, that's not.
That's not.
There we go.
Lunch on me.
All right.
We're going to habachi.
Big habachi.
Bet off lunch on me today.
You know, I do stuff today.
Oh, look at her.
She ready.
Lunch on me, man.
See, that's what I'm, and the time is three, four, five.
That's what I'm talking about.
Staying alive.
Hey, man.
Ricky Williams told me about astrology.
Oh, numerology.
There you go, man.
I'm trying to mix it all together like a mixtape.
Mm.
astrology, numerology, anthropology.
Come on, come on, you got bars, these are your bars.
Biology.
Ain't no stopping me when I go to biology.
You feel what I'm sad?
Sogony.
Sogony.
All right, come on, one more, one more, I'm about to hit a bar.
Mahogany.
I met a brown skin, her name went tipped me, it was mahogany.
But I left her alone because she kept stalking me.
Oh, bars.
bars.
Do you know,
I got you,
man.
Together we live.
I like this.
I like this.
You know what I'm saying.
We got one, folks.
We got one.
I cannot wait till next week
because this is getting better.
And I think this should be like the base
right here,
y'all, like just us.
You feel I'm saying?
Home plate right.
It's the home team right here.
All right.
If this was a baseball team,
pause,
place of position would be on the beach big poppy these are big dh right here you're
no no no ready you're on the bench when everyone's out there you're pumping the team up you got
the guys out there going and then every couple innings you're going up there and you're
smacking the oh yeah and shit out of that ball two of the homies just hit some some grounders
all right I'm going up at some infielders you're the team guys so yeah all right I walk you the
catcher
I'm up here.
It's my time.
I go in right now, Josh.
All right.
Go up there.
Hit my new part along.
Grab my bat.
It's out the park, motherfucker.
You got to put some fear in their heart.
You got to put some fear in their heart.
Did he fuck up and throw a change up and I catch it?
And we're off, folks.
Just like that, man.
This has been a dope-ass episode.
It's your boy, Big Ski.
Jason is here.
Let's go.
Let's go.
No jumper sports.
No jumper sports every Sunday.
Every Sunday.
Man, tap in, please.
Please.
You know what it is?
Like, comment, subscribe, man.
And let us know who y'all want to see, too.
Hey, we also dropped the brand new logo.
We got a new look.
Let us know what you think.
Please, we're polishing it up.
Crazy.
I can't wait till I give me a hockey jersey with that logo on it.
It's going to be fire.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Jesus.
Let us know what you think about it.
Let's go.
Kabachi.
