No Jumper.
Coolest podcast in the world.
And today I'm in here doing an interview that I've been dying to do for a long time.
Jenny 6-9 is in the building.
Jenny 689 up in this bitch.
I'm so excited, first of all.
Really?
Yes, because I always watch your show.
Really?
That's amazing.
Yeah, I think the last one I saw was when Homegirl was on it.
Oh, you all watched the sluts.
Something.
Who?
What's her name?
Selina.
Selina Powell.
Selina Powell.
I fuck with Selena.
You do?
Mm-hmm.
I don't know.
personally but you don't expose dudes like she does right no no you ever hook up with a rapper no never really
well then you're nothing like her because that's kind of like her whole thing yeah but like i'm just like you know
let her be right she's a bad bitch for sure so i'm just like unbelievably fascinated by you as a person who
i've always been an admirer of the 909 the whole riverside world out there riding BMX bikes it's now
951 they changed it they changed it wow okay so you're you're from
there from day one yes born and raised born and raised when i think about riverside i think about
monster trucks monster energy fake boobs what the fuck i don't know what am i missing here i don't know i've
never seen monster trucks out there really yeah maybe we're just like different scenes i feel like they
ride like motocross bikes out there and stuff a lot huh well right now like the truck scene is kind
of like big out there right now the trokiandocas like what the truck scene
Every single thing you say in Spanish I'm going to need a translation for in this episode.
That's what I was like, oh my God, why did you want me to come on No Jumper?
Because I'm like, I don't know.
I feel like I watch No Jumper, but I don't know.
Is there any Latinos that come?
Yeah, we got Duno.
Yeah, Duno.
But Duno is more like, like Chicano hood.
Yeah, he is, yes, isn't he?
Yeah, I love Duno.
He's a gangster.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He is.
Okay, so you describe, describe how you even became interested.
in the type of, you know, scene that you make music for now?
I feel like I grew up with it a lot, so I feel like when Nathan Elcano started making music,
like, you know, are you into like the Corridos and stuff, or is it still like kind of something new?
But do know is put me on a little bit, but I don't know too much.
Okay, so it's pretty much, I guess you could say it's kind of like the rap of Mexico in a way,
but not because like we use a lot of like instruments.
like the guitars and you know the accordions and shit there's different types of genres within the genre right yeah so when natana elkano came out i was like oh shit like
you could do like a little trap vibe with it too you know so like a lot of new artists started coming out
and i feel like oh my god there needs to be a female up in the mix so i was like damn like i don't know
how to do none of that like when i came out with my first song that was the first time i stepped into the studio
Really? And how much help did you get in making that song?
I mean, the producer.
Okay.
But...
Did they help you write the lyrics and stuff?
Yeah.
So, like, I sat down with the writers and we kind of just, like, tag teamed it.
Nice.
Yeah.
That's amazing.
So what was your whole career before all that?
Actually, let's go back.
What were you like in high school?
In high school, I was in sports.
Sports.
What was sports?
I did volleyball, and then I ran track.
Okay.
And what was, like, were you part of this subculture at that time, or you were like a normal-ass girl?
I feel like at that time, my parents never let me do shit.
So I was always at home, like, not allowed to go out.
I was never really allowed to do anything.
So I feel like I was a good girl.
Right.
I feel like I'm barely living my, like, teenager girl fantasy now as an adult.
How old are you?
I'm going to be 28.
Okay.
And so were you surrounded?
by any like temptations or like you know bad stuff like were you were you getting in trouble or
were you tempted to be doing bad stuff at that time or were you no no I was just trying not to get
pregnant because latinas like you give a latina a hug and they get pregnant I always hear that what is
it's just I don't know latinas are like horny as fuck I don't know yeah and that transfers over
because like growing up me on the east coast in new hampsia there was hella puerto rican girls
and people would always tell me like you can get them pregnant by just looking at them yeah
And I don't...
So luckily it didn't get pregnant.
I mean, I got pregnant young at 21, but...
Were you trying?
Or did it just happen?
Yeah, I was trying, no.
Okay.
I really didn't want to have a baby.
Right.
So wait, you were having a lot of sex at this time?
You said your hobby was trying not to get pregnant.
I mean, I was in a relationship at the time.
Oh, okay.
No, but I wasn't hoeing around like that.
No.
Not in high school.
Okay.
So what are you doing when you go out of high school?
When I got out of high school, I was doing the whole makeup thing and the whole, like, social media thing.
So I was in college for,
Okay. Doing what in college?
Switching my major every like two months.
Really?
Trying to survive.
You were indecisive about it?
Yeah, because I didn't know what I wanted to do.
And I just was doing hood rat shit with my friends at the time.
And I just wasn't making money.
So like once I started doing the makeup thing, I started making money.
Really?
So I was like, you know, I got to like cut that shit out and start making money.
Were there other girls like you in the makeup scene or were you kind of like, did you stand out?
because I feel like most of them are like white or Asian.
I feel like I always stood out because I feel like there wasn't really a lot of Latinas being represented.
Right.
But like Rio Latinas.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
Like the girls that aren't scared to be themselves.
And that's why I felt like I wasn't fully accepted into the community because they're always like, oh, she's ghetto.
Like she smokes weed and she's a mom.
Right.
Because this is when weed was like illegal.
Right.
So I wasn't like brand friendly.
So I wasn't really, I was struggling to get like brand.
deals at the time. So that's why I had to start my own brand and kind of do my own thing,
make my own money because I just wasn't getting opportunities like that. What's your makeup
brand called? Badi B. B lashes. Is that a big business for you? Yeah, it is. Interesting.
Yeah. Your fans go crazy for it? Yeah, they do. That's a lit. Yeah, I'm wearing my lashes right
now. Oh, wow. Those are pretty long, huh? Yeah. That's hashtag toxic. That's the name of the lash.
Really? How long has your hair been that color green?
it's a wig oh i was wondering that but i couldn't tell because i'm an idiot you couldn't tell
yeah guys can't tell yeah i don't really you know i don't know until i grab the back of your head
right oh okay no this shit is pretty glued on so even if you tried it it wouldn't see i was kind of
staring at your forehead before being like is that a wig yeah looks i don't know that shit is laid
okay nice so okay you started making decent money on youtube and stuff like that but like uh
how good are we talking?
How popular did you get?
Did you feel like that was like,
I guess you as a YouTuber,
like, that's kind of your whole thing now at this point?
Yeah, I kind of like stopped on YouTube
because I've been focusing on music for like two years already.
Oh, it's been two years.
It's been two years in the making.
So like before I launched last 69,
it was in the works for a whole year.
Really?
Uh-huh.
Did it go through a lot of like revisions and everything?
It went through a lot of revisions, yes,
and like the music video and also just kind of like,
I feel like I've always had a power struggle.
It's like a female in the industry.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
A power struggle, how so?
Are there other men trying to get involved in your career?
Yeah, like they just try to get involved, try to tell me kind of like what is right kind of thing.
I just feel like people didn't think it was going to like pop off the way that it did.
Right.
So I was struggling for like studio time.
And I didn't want to be too picky either because it's like a beggar can't be a chooser.
Right.
You know?
But you're not a beggar, right?
You're already doing pretty well for yourself on YouTube and everything.
Yeah, but like I'm still a new artist.
Right.
Like I only have two songs out.
But I mean studio times like 100 bucks an hour or something, isn't it?
Yeah.
Yeah.
So how did you feel when it came out?
Did it just immediately go viral or what was that like?
It immediately went viral.
Like when it went number one, I was like, what the fuck?
I wasn't expecting for it to hit number one.
Right.
Because it's such like a specific sound that you wouldn't think would be like the kind
thing that would appeal to so many people.
That's 11 million views on YouTube.
Yeah.
I think it's because I bring like a new type of like swag to it, you know?
Right.
Yeah, it was definitely a different style for sure.
Yeah, because a lot of people are like, oh, if you turn off the audio, it kind of looks like
rap, you know?
Do you compare it to rap in your head?
No, because it's like a different genre, but like I do want to get into rap.
Right.
Because like English is like my first language.
It is.
You know what I'm saying?
But like I felt like I had to give back to my rasa and like.
my parents, because they came to this country, you know, trying to make it living.
So, you know, I just kind of wanted to put, like, the Corriddo industry, like, I wanted to make it mainstream.
You know what I'm saying?
Definitely.
And, I mean, you already having a platform as a YouTuber.
You could kind of help spread it to more people, right?
Right, right.
Yeah, because it is growing.
It is becoming mainstream, I feel.
Did you have to go out of your way to learn Spanish at a certain point in your life?
Or did you just kind of slowly pick it up alongside English?
I mean, my parents, they both speak Spanish.
but I feel like I grew up speaking in English.
Right.
I would only talk in Spanish with like my grandma or like my Tias or the people that I needed to speak Spanish with.
Right.
Because in school it's like that's what you learn is English.
What do you feel about Hispanic dudes who can't speak Spanish?
Is that shameful?
What do you mean shameful?
I mean, I just feel like that sometimes like dudes I know who are Spanish or Mexican or whatever and they can't speak Spanish, they get judged and like look down upon.
Oh, like no sable kids.
Like kind of like that's what they named them.
NOSABO is like they label people who don't know how to speak Spanish correctly.
But it's like we were raised in the U.S.
Right.
So it's hard to like upkeep both because my parents both speak really good English too.
Right.
I think it's difficult to try to learn both languages.
If you were single and you met a guy, would you judge him harshly if you couldn't speak Spanish?
No, because I know what that fucking feels like.
Because after I launched a song, like, One Vision and fucking Telemundo were hitting me up.
And oh my God.
Like, that was intense because I felt like I can't fully, like, defend myself or say everything that I want to say in Spanish.
Because then they, like, take it the wrong way or something.
You might just kind of say it the wrong way because it's not your native language.
Yeah, but people call me no sabo all the time.
But that's okay because that's who I am.
Right.
What does that translate to?
No sabo?
You don't know how.
Like that you don't know.
Okay.
But it's like discrimination.
What the fuck?
Yeah. Like don't put your people down. We're trying.
It's weird to me that, like, I was having this conversation with a dude the other day.
And I was just like, that's, that is kind of amazing to me that you've been around this many other Mexican people your whole life and you never picked up on Spanish.
But when I really think about it, I've been around a shillow of Mexican people, like a large percentage of my life.
And I don't know a goddamn word of Spanish.
Yeah. It's hard. But.
Yeah. Definitely.
Okay. So the song starts blowing up.
Is this like completely change your life or like, like, like, how would you describe the change?
that took place for you?
It did change my life because I was like,
fuck yeah, like I knew that shit was going to pop, you know?
Because like I've always been an artist,
but I've just never like expressed myself through music.
So like with the struggle of the industry that I was in at the beginning,
like in the whole makeup, like influencer world,
I just felt like I would always get judged for being neat, for being me.
So I feel like with music, it's like you could say whatever you want,
you could do whatever you want, you do what you want when you're popping.
So that's why I had to make that transition.
Right.
No, yeah, I think it's good.
Do you feel like you're inspiring a lot of young girls out there to also make music?
I hope so.
Like, I hope that girls are just like, oh, damn, like Jenny doesn't give a fuck so me neither.
Right, definitely.
Where did the 6-9 come from in your name?
When I first opened up my Instagram account, Jenny was taken.
Really?
So I was just like, fuck it, Jenny 69.
But I didn't think it was going to turn to that.
Right.
You weren't thinking of it in like a sexual amount.
manner or you just picked a random number yep that's really how it is for me too because i'm adam 22 and
people always ask me what it means and i'm just like you're like nothing yeah just i chose it as a screen
name back when i was like 15 yeah that was like back in the day yeah definitely how do you feel about
six nine i love six nine you do i love six nine yeah that's interesting a lot of people don't
fuck with them these days yeah they don't how do you feel about that do you think you disobeyed the street
code?
Honestly, I don't know about that gangster shit.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
I just love his music.
You don't like it?
And I love that he don't give a fuck.
I would have thought that you were the type of chick
would end up dating gangsters and stuff throughout your life.
I would think that you would be kind of into that shit.
Really?
Maybe in another life, but.
Okay.
So you're not into that?
You never dated a fucking drug dealer or something?
I kind of dated a little narco for a bit because, like, in my scene, that's like the
rapper of my scene.
Is the, do you sell drugs?
Yeah, like the guys, you know, like the guys that pop bottles at the clubs.
Right.
So that's why it's so funny because it's like, it's pretty much like the same type of culture, but like opposite.
Like for the Mexicans, you know what I'm saying?
Right.
Yeah.
Definitely.
So are you the big dog now?
You're the one like in the club getting bottles and having the section and stuff?
Oh, I mean, kind of.
I've always kind of had bottles because they noticed me.
So they're like, oh, Jenny, like we're going to give you a bottle.
Okay.
You go to a lot of the clubs?
And then I'll be like, oh, hell yeah, like, thank you club.
And then I'll tag them.
You know, so it's like a little promo kind of.
Do you go to a lot of clubs out there in Riverside?
No, not really unless I'm being paid to be there.
Okay.
But I partied there like two weeks ago, and that shit was so lit.
Really?
Like, I had the time of my life.
They were playing your music and shit?
They played my song at the end.
Because I always tell them, don't play my song, don't play my song.
Why?
Because I feel like it's regional Mexican.
It's not Perreo reggaeton.
not that club shit, you know? That's why I made a club remix of it. I listened to that.
That's like playing country and like a reggaeton spot.
The remix blew my mind.
Why? It's just like crazy as fuck. And the fact that you kept looping the part where you
said shout out to Riverside. Like over and over and over. Yeah, that DJ is good.
Okay.
I forget his name. Yeah, me too. That's bad. You should probably know.
DJ, C'amma the DJ? Siri, please play.
do they play that version in the club or do they play the regular version?
Yeah, no, but at the end they did play it.
You could play it at the end because it's like you could do that.
How do you feel about the people actually genuinely enjoying it versus the percentage of people
who are basically just hating?
Like what do I feel about it?
Yeah, like how do you feel about that when you saw people kind of making a joke out of it
and turning into a meme and stuff?
Um, it was kind of like a shock to me at first because I was just like, I did it for me.
You know, I never did it for like people to like accept me.
You know what I mean?
Like it was something that was on my bucket list.
So when it happened, I was just kind of like, oh shit, because there was people that were getting aggressive.
Like, because it's like, yeah, you don't have to like my song.
Like, you know, because there's music that I don't like, you know, but I don't go on the internet.
And I'm like, oh, this sucks so dumb.
Whatever.
But there was grown-ass Mexican men literally like being weird about it.
Do you think that they felt like it was like a weird representation of their culture or some shit like that?
I mean, maybe.
But I don't know.
Nobody owns any culture.
Right.
Like I grew up with it.
So like, you know what I'm saying?
Definitely.
Do you think it was pissing people off?
Because like in that new video, you're on some like real gangster shit.
You got like hell of machine guns and stuff.
It's like on some radical vibe.
Yeah.
See, I got that.
But I was just wondering like how that plays in your world.
Like if people are into you sort of.
sort of like pretending to be like this cartel member or whatever.
Right, right.
I mean, people do get offended by it.
Right.
But it's a fantasy.
That's what music videos are.
Like, I literally put a warning.
I was like,
any Buchona activity in this video is for pretend purposes.
Okay.
And people know that.
And like, it's funny because they come for me.
They see a bomb bitch like doing good and doing all this.
But it's like before y'all come at me,
come at everybody else who's done it first,
which are all the guys.
What's that mean, Buchana?
What?
That word you always say that I don't know what the fucking...
So technically a buchona is like...
The real definition of a buchona is the wife of an arco.
Ah, okay.
And she's like bodied up, fucking guchied out, fucking hair extensions, like serving inches.
But I kind of took that and kind of made it my own thing.
Right.
Because I don't have a narco husband.
I am the narca.
Right.
I'm just playing.
I don't sell drugs.
But, like, you know, I'm just like, I'm just a bad bitch trying to make some money in the States.
Right.
You know?
No, it's like calling yourself gangster.
Kind of?
Maybe not.
Well, because if I say like, oh, I...
It's kind of more like bad bitch.
Right.
It's kind of more like bad bitch.
Yeah, it's more like bad bitch.
Or I could be like I took a gangster-ass shit this morning.
And it's like, nobody thinks that my shit is involved in organized crime.
I mean, I guess.
Not that I would say that.
It's not gangster though
Listen Gina laughing in the background
Whatever
No but okay
So earlier today
My girl and I would do only fans
Yeah
And we didn't have an episode of porn with this girl
This young Mexican girl
Uh huh
And she fucking told us that she's a big Jenny 69 fan
Oh really? Like during
While you guys were like
I just brought it up
Because I was like I'm about to do an interview with her
And she's like oh I know who that is
I fuck with her
Oh that's cute
I love that
I love when people are fans of me.
This is her target fan base right here.
Yeah, definitely.
How much do you feel like your looks are a part of the song's success?
I mean, well, I am a fashion icon, so...
Right.
I mean, yeah, 10 across the board.
Like, it's like if you look at me as an artist across the board, right?
It's like 10, 10, 10, 10, but in the singing, it's like a 2,
but everybody knows I don't know how to sing.
So, like, I already told you guys that.
Do you think that's going to hold you back musically, not knowing how to sing?
I mean, yes and no.
No, because, like, rappers don't know how to sing and look at how successful they are.
Right, but they're not trying to sing.
They just rap.
Right.
I'm not trying to sing either.
Right.
Okay, so you don't consider what you do singing?
I mean, the first song is tech if you want to, like, get technical with the, yeah, but it's my, it was my first song.
Right.
Like, think about it like this.
Of course.
I think about it like this.
Name another artist that has gone number one.
with their first song ever.
Like, think about it.
Like, think about if an artist was, like, had 10 millions of fathers, right?
And it's their first time ever doing, putting a song out.
Of course you're going to get shit for it.
Right.
I loved it.
I was singing it for weeks.
Really?
Oh, yeah.
So I la 69.
Whoa, whoa.
That part right there.
That's the part I think that, like, blew people's minds.
Yeah.
Do you think so?
That was kind of, like, the part that really stood out to people?
I think so.
I was like I worked on that song so long and I listened to it like 10 million times that I didn't even like,
like I felt like I was kind of over my song already before it came out. So I don't even know what,
what fascinated people. I don't know if it was the visuals, if it was a song, if it was the hook.
Like I don't know because the producer who did it, he's like a really, really good producer.
And he's like really like well known, well respected. Like he's an artist as well.
But I thought you produced the song.
No, no.
So I went to go link up with the person.
Yellow Room music.
Shout out to Yellow Room.
I went to go to him and the guy he's from Los Voces El Rancho.
So it's like a group.
Right.
And we sat with them and I told them I wanted to make a song.
So we sat down and we like, you know, wrote the lyrics or whatever and he produced a song.
I don't have the equipment to do that.
Right.
I was thinking like that would be quite strange if you had just learned to make beats over the years.
No, no, no.
So, like, I went and he, like, produced it for me.
Nice.
Yeah.
That's dope.
Okay.
One thing.
Oh, yeah.
So I wanted to ask what you thought of, like, the fan pages and stuff, because I feel
like I saw you on, like, the Foo's Gone Wild page at some point, and that that might
have been how I found out about your song.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
Do you fuck with all these different pages and stuff?
Depends if they're, like, hella-talking shit or, like, you know, are neutral.
I like the pages that are neutral.
I haven't really looked into foods gone wild, but I know they did post me, but I don't know what exactly they said.
Oh, okay.
Because I was kind of like tunnel visioning at the time because it was like, everybody was like, message me.
Can I have that water?
You can definitely have that water.
You want some weed gummies?
Oh my God, not going.
These are the Caliente ones.
Drank?
Like alcohol?
A little drank or like a joint or something?
A joint?
Oh, I forgot.
You're a pothead.
We got any pre-rolls?
I think I'm going.
Oh, here we go.
Oh my god, is this strong?
You've been smoking weed forever or what?
I started smoking.
Look at my lighter.
It's you.
My single cover.
Wow.
Can I have that?
That's history right there.
We need that.
Do you have any cool merchandise or memorabilia?
Because we're moving into a new office and I want to have it be like a shrine to all of our guests.
Oh, that's sweet.
Maybe you could like give us your wig before you leave.
What the fuck?
We could like mount it on the wall, no?
No, I can get you some stuff.
Don't even trip.
I got you.
Why is Gina laughing like fucking Eeyore in the corner?
Because you said you wanted to hang my wig on the wall.
It was just an idea.
Like that kind of thing.
Just to have it, I was like a bounty.
Like a scalp.
A scalp.
You know?
Like we had like captured you or some shit just because, you know, you're on the podcast.
Yeah.
No, I got you.
I could get you some stuff.
How long have you been with your dude that you're with right now?
We've been together like six years.
Six years.
Because I feel like a lot of people are pretty.
fascinated by that.
Relationship.
Yeah.
What kind of dude is he?
He's a businessman.
Really?
Mm-hmm.
That's how I met him.
I was modeling for his clothing company years ago.
Okay.
And I feel like he believed in me when I didn't believe in myself at the time.
So he was my first gig that I had in downtown L.A.
Because I was just a Povera Cita from Riverside.
Uh-huh.
You're totally new to the game.
You don't know what the hell's going on.
I didn't know.
My parents didn't even let me leave the city.
Right.
That's why people stay in Riverside.
When you stay in your city,
don't grow. Yeah. You got to leave. So I did that. That's real. Definitely. So that was my first
opportunity. And I'm, I'm a really loyal person. Like, I believe in loyalty. So, like, I don't know.
Like, I just feel like the people that fuck with me and the people that ride with me and the people
that are helping me get to the top, like, I got you. So you're not getting, like, big-headed
and feeling like you need to go get yourself an NBA player or something at this point now? No. No.
No. No. No. I'm just trying to make money. For sure. Okay. I'm not going to lie. I watch a YouTube
video because there's a whole industry of people who make videos about you out there.
And they made a video claimant that you are a homewrecker and that your dude that you're with,
originally you were friends with his previous girl.
True or false?
No, that shit is so false.
Like, I'm really not a homewaker.
I sort of got it.
And it's funny because he had reached out to her.
I think she reached out to him.
She was like, hey, dude, like people keep messaging me and shit.
Like, I don't know.
I don't want to be involved in this.
whatever, because, like, they were co-workers.
I think he had hired her to do photography for his brand or something like that.
Her name was Liz.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, but no, he was never with her like that.
He would have told me.
And why would I do that?
I'm not that type of bitch.
You wouldn't steal a dude from a girl if you really wanted them?
No.
Why would I do that?
You can't even compete with any girl.
I would, if I was single, I would gladly steal a girl from a dude if I could.
If you were single, you would gladly steal a girl from a girl.
I mean, if I'm single and I meet you and you got a boyfriend,
I mean, if I like the guy, maybe I'm not going to try.
But, you know, I might like a few photos.
Might send a happy birthday DM.
What the fuck?
Well, you're a savage.
I'm not a savage.
I wouldn't do that because I'm a relationship.
But, like, you know, in general, I think.
I wouldn't do that even if I was single.
Really?
No.
That's just thirsty or what?
I just feel like that's dirty.
Like, if I find out that you have a girl after you lied to me,
then I will probably stop fucking with you.
Really?
Yeah.
Is lying just a huge deal breaker?
Yes.
What's your biggest turnoff relationship-wise?
Hmm.
It's been a long time since I've been, like,
dating other people, so I don't know.
What's a turn-off?
Guys that don't let me wear what I want to wear.
Really?
Yeah.
So your dude's very cool about that?
Oh, yeah.
That's good.
I think you got it.
Yeah, because it's like, what the fuck?
I want to be me.
Right.
I want to do me.
Yeah.
But I could imagine.
Why, my pantsa?
Oh.
Sorry, you guys.
She hits the blunt and she starts fucking slouching.
Oh, we're here like, the real Johnny 69.
Now he's going to take another photo.
He's like, oh, okay, let's redo this.
He's like, hell yeah, that's a thumbnail.
Oh, my God, amazing.
Okay, so where, what's going on here?
Yeah, what were we talking about?
We were talking about some good stuff.
Were we?
Oh, the pages that talk about me.
Oh, yes.
Are there any other conspiracy theories out there about you that you find particularly disturbing?
Conspiracy theories.
I think that's the only one.
Really?
Yeah.
But I feel like people always talk shit about me anyways.
I watched a video that was like 10 minutes long that claimed that it was about you getting booed off stage somewhere.
And the whole point of the video was to explain that it was someone else.
Dude, that's what I'm saying.
I'm like, you're going to watch this and it wasn't even her?
I just think people talk about me because I have a lot of clout, so they need that.
Yeah.
Has there been like, what's that explosion and clout been like and how has it changed your life?
Um, I definitely feel like I have more power.
Hmm.
But like, I don't know.
I still feel the same.
For sure.
Has it changed your relationship dynamic at all now that you're the famous one?
It gets weird.
Right.
It really does get lonely when you're successful.
Really?
It really does.
Do you feel like it's changed shit with your friends a lot?
Maybe not.
immediate friends, but like co-workers kind of, I don't know, it's just weird.
People just act kind of weird, too. You feel like-
People just act weird. I don't know if it's because they're like scared of me or something.
They want something from you probably, right?
Maybe. Damn. That's fucked up.
How are you dealing with that, though? You just like keep your circle smaller at this point?
I keep my circle small. And I want medication right now.
For what? For anxiety.
What kind of medication? It's called bus bar.
Bus bar. Bus bar. Is it like Xanax?
Buzz down.
Is it like Xanax?
I guess it's like a baby version of a Xanax, I think.
Really?
Yeah, because after I dropped that 609, she got crazy.
Really?
Yeah, it was just kind of overwhelming.
It was too much.
But it was like that's what you always wanted in your life, right?
It was to get to this level of success.
Right.
I want even more.
It was kind of overwhelming.
I want even more.
That's all right, for this next song, I'm ready.
I got my little bottle of pills.
Because I just want to feel normal.
Right.
Because every time I go on Instagram or TikTok, it's like I'm scrolling and it's like,
Jenny 69 this, Jenny 69 that.
Like so there's always something so
I never thought it would be like this.
Yeah.
How is fame different than what you thought it was going to be like?
It's dirty.
Really?
It's dirty and it takes a lot of fucking work.
And it's a lot of like energy being sucked out of you.
But you get to meet cool people like Adam
because look at me on no jumper.
Can I get a round of applause?
I'll get in on that.
Dreams do come true, y'all.
Wow. Do you love meeting your fans?
I love meeting my fans.
Really?
Yes. Like the other day, I brought out, did you see on Fuz Gone Wild?
That guy who got my face tatted?
No.
He got a last 69's head on his chest.
Really?
So I brought him out to the club the other day.
How was it?
Did he fit in good?
He was cool.
He was shy.
Uh-huh.
But yeah.
Wow, that's some serious fandom right there.
Yeah.
You haven't had any weird experiences with fans yet?
Um.
Maybe not, well, would I say that?
That's like a fan?
Because a hater is a fan, right?
I'm sure.
Like, it's like some is like...
You've had haters pull up on you in real life?
I've had someone pull up on me the other day.
And what they do?
It was like a few weeks ago.
I was literally eating a torta at this taco spot and then she just like runs up and she's like,
she just starts telling me shit.
And I was like, what the fuck?
What kind of stuff was she saying?
She was like, oh, like, is it true that you abuse your kid and blah, blah, blah.
Because you know how people just like to take videos from me?
your YouTube videos and then they create like a scenario on TikTok and just like rumors like how
you said those people make videos about me right it was kind of something like that and then um my
man just told me to like not say anything because he was like it's not worth it yeah because i was
in his city so i think people just like get upset when you're in someone city right they get like
triggered or like threatened that i'm in their city so he's not a riverside guy no he's from bell
okay but so you feel do you feel more accepted when you're in riverside like they look at you like a
hometown hero?
I haven't been out, out in Riverside like that because I'd be scared.
Really?
Yeah.
Just because shit's weird.
Because I'm telling you, I've had weird encounters with people that try to like run up and
shit.
So like I always have to have a security.
Yeah.
How often do you go out of security?
When I'm going to be out in a place where I know there's going to be like a lot of people
that know me.
Right.
I take a security.
Okay.
Because I've been getting threats and shit.
Are you just like this when you go to like the grocery store?
No.
No, ma'am.
This is just for no jumper?
No, not just for any time I got like gigs, you know.
You got to go hard.
I got to, you know, do what I got to do.
Yeah.
How much time did it take you to get ready today with like the wig and everything going on all at once?
On a good day, like four hours, like three to four hours.
Holy shit.
What time do you get up to even put in that work?
Are you doing other things?
I feel like you've got to get the most out of that look once you've served that look.
You got to get a lot out of it, right?
Yeah.
But I feel like now that I'm.
I'm an artist.
I feel like, eh, whatever.
It's just normal.
I just got to make more money.
Yeah.
But it's expensive.
Being an artist?
Yes.
Nobody talks about that.
What are the expenses that people aren't thinking about?
Photography, security, transportation.
Mm.
How much the bottles are at the table.
Mm.
The wig stylist, the stylist, the tan artist, the makeup artist.
Right.
The surgeries.
What surgeries are we talking?
Like BBLs.
In Tijuana.
In Tijuana.
I saw that you had a video called that, but I didn't.
I was like, it was late last night.
I'm like, honestly, I don't think I got a half hour to watch this, but I do want to ask her about that.
How are the Tijuana B.A.B.Ls?
They're crazy.
Really?
Yeah.
Why did you decide to do it there instead of like Beverly Hills or something?
Because like here in the U.S., they could only take out a certain percentage of fat out of you before it's, like, illegal.
And so you wanted, like, extreme fat reduction?
Yeah, but like I didn't really get a lot of fat.
I'm getting another surgery.
Wow.
I can't say what it is yet, but I'm trying to think.
I stay on my surgery game.
The boobs are good as is though.
You're not getting those done again?
No, I'm good like this.
Oh my God.
That reminds me.
What is that girl thing?
She has like big titties.
You interviewed with the, oh my God, I fucking love Mary, dude.
Mary.
That was the most, like, funnest interview I seen.
She's like the number one person on earth who can't keep an Instagram.
no matter what the fuck she does.
Dude, the haters, the hate be real.
Yeah.
They're trying to take you down or not?
Oh, yeah, always.
For real?
Yes.
You got to be careful, though.
You don't let them take your shit.
No.
Because I just kind of felt like when you're popping, you're popping.
It don't matter how many followers you have.
Right.
And like, obviously someone hates you enough to, like, get your page deleted.
Right.
I'm just living my life.
People probably ask you this all the time.
And it's probably annoying.
You hear that?
Okay.
People probably ask you all the time.
Are you going to do Onlyfans?
No.
Never.
I mean, I wouldn't say never.
I feel like in another life, but I don't know about that.
Your dude wouldn't allow it?
He would allow it.
He wouldn't care.
He, I don't think he would care.
He wouldn't be like, oh, don't do it.
Do you just think it would take away from your music?
Yeah, I just want to see how far I can get not doing that.
And then, I don't know.
Maybe if one day I'm just, like, broke.
I'm like, fuck it.
Because I know I'll be.
so successful at it.
And people ask me every day.
Would you be too shy to do it?
I feel like I wouldn't
be shy, but the only thing that makes me shy
is that, like, I don't know, I just have a lot of friends.
Like, I don't know, I just, you know, that inner circle.
Yeah.
And it's like, fuck, what is that person going to think?
You know, like, it's just embarrassing.
Yeah.
Have you ever been photographed or your shirt off or anything?
No, not professionally.
Okay.
interesting
I just want to know
I knew I was gonna get to this
I just want to know what your take on it was
because I know that you probably
get asked all the time
yeah no I think I think it's cool
people can express themselves how they want you know
no judgment here I'm not a judgmental person
it's crazy because somebody like Ruby Rose
who's kind of popping as a rapper
when she performed it rolling loud this year
she had her only fans
link up on the fucking banner
huge who's Ruby Rose
she's like
up-and-coming rapper. She was on the double-exel freshman cover and stuff like that.
Oh, okay. Are you kind of in your own bubble in terms of the stuff that you pay attention to?
You don't seem like you pay attention to a lot of rap and stuff.
I would love to pay attention more to rap. I think I am going to start. I mean, I've always listened to it.
I grew up with the, and my parents love like old school music and stuff.
Right.
But I feel like my mind was kind of more on the Mexican regional, you know.
take over that world before you try to expand out of it.
Exactly, exactly.
I like it. I like it.
You like J-Lah?
She's cool.
I'm a huge J-Lo fan.
I like her like old school music,
but I still like support her and her hustle and everything.
Right, definitely.
Yeah, I love J-Lah.
She's the best.
She's a goat.
I miss her.
Yeah.
Have you ever like interviewed her?
Absolutely not.
That would be amazing though.
Calling J-Lo team, please.
Yeah.
We want a J-Lo and
Actually, when you put it like that, you're making me feel like...
She would be a hood bitch for that if she did that.
She definitely would.
But I don't know if she's on that, you know?
If I meet J-Lo, I'm going to tell her about Jenny 69.
Imagine?
That's just how I get down.
So I saw that your sister raps as well now at this point?
My sister?
Is that a thing?
No, what the fuck?
But I always tell her.
Really?
I'm like, dude, you should be a rapper.
And she's like, dude, no, I'm embarrassed.
Maybe I was fooled by some clickbait or something.
Maybe it was somebody...
Where did you see that?
I don't know. I'm just like searching your name on YouTube.
I'm going to take it as a sign.
That your sister should start rapping.
I would love to meet her and advise her on her career.
Although I know absolutely nothing about the company.
Her name is Annette 69.
That's the one who I saw.
That's funny.
Let me see.
You have it.
I just saw that there was an interview with her somewhere.
And I watched like two minutes of it.
And then I was like, you know what?
I don't get enough time.
I can't do this.
Who knows?
I haven't seen that.
I try to stay off like YouTube because people always make videos about me.
Right.
So I try not to let that like fuck with my day.
Is your whole family 69s?
Yeah, they are.
At this point, it's literally like a clan.
Like it's like a, like a business.
Like even your parents took on the number and everything?
Yeah, they did because I told them to.
I was like, dude, put your name like this.
And they were like, why?
I was like, just do it.
And they're like, oh, okay.
And then it just became like a thing.
That's fire.
I think I'm just good at marketing.
I don't think I'm going to force that on my kid, though.
I'm not going to try to make my kid like baby 20.
No, not your kid.
No.
But my family, yeah.
But you're not going to put that on your kids as well?
No.
How is your kid dealing with mom being famous all of a sudden?
Well, my son has autism.
Oh.
So he's always like on a trip, you know?
Okay.
I mean, that's how I try to explain it, you know?
Right.
Not that he's taking drugs before y'all take this little clip and be like, what?
How old is he?
He's going to be six.
So he's not really concerned with what you're doing.
Not he tripping, but he loves my song.
Okay.
Because, like, I would always bump it, like, on my way to Riverside.
I would, like, bump it all the time.
Right.
And he will sing it.
Little kids love me.
Really?
Little kids love me.
And that, I think that's what made me so happy.
Because little kids, like, they're innocent and they're not judgmental.
They have no hate in their heart.
Right.
And if they like my song, that song was good.
When I listen to it, I just think about how this song is helping me to speak Spanish a little bit better.
Really?
Because soul.
Boy, Transverse 2, I am.
I am.
Isn't that crazy?
I am the 69.
That's fucking funny, dude.
Right.
I would have never been able to get that through my head prior to this song.
My husband helped write that hook.
He did.
Wow.
He contributed a lot to the world by doing that.
Yeah, he did.
I feel like he's the real Jenny 69.
Wow.
I don't know what you should tell him that.
Would you ever be able to date a white guy?
A white guy, yeah.
I mean, I don't discriminate.
Really?
Yeah.
I feel like you're so like into your culture that it's hard for me to imagine.
I am into my culture, but like I'll like, you know.
It's just kind of hard.
It's hard for me to imagine you being able to like, because you would have like a white dude.
You would have to be guiding him through so much of your world.
Right.
That might be tough.
It is hard.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I think it's easier for me to like stick to like Latinas like me because they understand
my jokes. Right. But I don't care. I feel like 2020 I'm expanding. Do you feel like there's like a big
wall of like a barrier between us because I'm white and you're not that like we come from such
different worlds. It's hard for us to understand each other. Is that the vibe you got during this
interview? I feel like a little bit at the beginning. But I was like who cares like he I obviously like
you like something that I have that's like brings us together. Yes. You know what I'm saying? Music brings us
music brings it together.
But isn't that trip?
Isn't that a trip because it's like that's regional Mexican?
Yes.
This is like rap culture.
Yep.
You know what I'm talking about?
But I'm tapped in to the streets.
Damn, that's how I'm trying to be.
Everywhere.
I'm in Tijuana with the BBL doctor.
Damn.
BBL gang.
Did that change your life?
You should get a BBL.
What makes you feel like you need, you're right.
But what makes you feel like you want to like go that hard to make a,
make yourself look perfect.
Like what is it about you that really makes you want to just do the surgery thing and
everything?
I just think right now the pressure is on as a female.
And I feel like everybody is just on their A game and everybody looks fucking bomb.
But it feels good to be bomb, you know?
Oh my God, maybe you should edit that out.
Feels good to look bomb.
Yeah.
No way.
It's bomb to look bomb.
Edit that out, please.
I give my girl a hard time all the time about that because she's from Glendale.
Dude, your girl is so hot.
Thank you.
But she'll always be saying something that's bomb.
Like, oh my God, the tacos are bomb there.
And I'm like, oh, my God, you sound like such a fucking valley girl every time you say that.
Dude, that's like Latina shit.
Yeah.
That's bomb.
She's Armenian.
So there's a tiny, tiny smidge of overlap.
She looks Mexican, though.
People think that sometimes.
Yeah, she does look Mexican.
I wish.
The food might be better.
Why?
What kind of food do you guys eat?
This is cool.
The Armenian food you get to.
Yeah, I think Armenians use a lot of seasoning.
Yeah.
A lot of baklava.
I've never had Armenian food, so I don't know.
Falafel.
Falafel.
We need to take you to our Armenian spot for sure.
That's dope.
I love food.
I love to cook.
Really?
So I'm down for that.
What's your best dish?
I know how to make good pasta.
Mmm.
Like the sauce with like the heavy cream.
I'm also getting better at steaks.
Really?
Yes.
Interesting.
I can cook anything, honestly.
I totally thought you were going to say some Mexican shit
and then you just said pasta
No, no, no, no. I love like Asian cuisine.
I know people think I'm like so Mexican all the time
But like I love Asian food
Yes, you have to because I like other stuff
That's why I'm excited to like expand
Because like what if I'm like
Good at like English music
What if Panda Express is bomb?
Panda Expresses bomb
When you're like on survival mode
You gotta do it
Like it's like McDonald's or Panda
when you're feeling like a boozy bitch.
You know what I mean?
McDonald's or Panda.
Panda or Chili's?
I haven't been to Chili's in fucking 15 years.
I don't feel like I can judge.
Chili's has the best margaritas.
Really?
Chili's has the best fucking margaritas.
But I feel like that's unfair to compare them on something that like Panas Express
clearly has no alcohol available.
That's true.
That's true.
That's a big difference.
I love Chili Zoh.
For sure.
Chipotle or Taco Bell?
Fuck.
I'm getting the shits with both.
So I don't know.
Why?
The dairy?
I don't know.
I just feel like it kind of fucks me up.
I'd say Taco Bell.
Because what's the other place called?
Chipotle.
Chipotle?
That's like foreign to you?
That's like every American knows about that.
No, it's because I'm high.
I forget shit.
Oh, right.
I forgot you were high.
Well, either way.
I have ADD, too.
So like I'd be forgetting shit.
Okay.
High or not.
But anyways, I feel like they undercooked the chicken.
Really?
Yeah.
They did have a lot of issues.
I like my shit like crispy, like on the outside and like juicy and soft on the inside.
I have gourmet standard now.
Really?
So once you like hit that level of like foodie, you can't go back.
But you were just talking about eating a torta at the taco truck.
But torta is a delicacy.
I am not denying that.
I just also don't really, when I think gourmet tastes, I don't necessarily think about the torta from the taco truck.
Technically.
A torta to me is like gourmet.
I'm fucking it.
Right.
It's like gourmet.
Well, it's street food.
Yeah.
But like I'm a hood bitch.
So like that's gourmet of the hood bitch side.
I like that.
I wanted to ask, how do you feel when people refer to you as Latinx?
I'm scared for this question.
Do you know what that even is?
Kind of, I think it's like a new movement or something.
Yeah.
I don't know shit about that.
They want to get rid of Latina and Latino and say Latinx.
That way trans people can be included in it.
Oh, that's what it means?
Yeah.
I did not know that.
But they've been doing polling and they found that like 80% of Hispanic people don't like being called that or something like that.
70% I just think it's because change is something new to people.
That, you know, it's kind of like how they changed.
Was it the Staples Center?
To the crypto arena.
To the crypto area.
Everybody's like, what the fuck?
It's kind of like that.
It is.
But then it's like once you make the change, it's like, well, you have no choice.
Right.
I also think a lot of people don't like.
like it because they just think it's stupid and that they think that we shouldn't like
dismantle our language to accommodate like a really really tiny percentage of people but
I feel that I feel that I don't know just that politics stuff I don't know about that stuff
right well I'm not educated enough to know yeah you're what I mean well that's good to be able
admit that can you get a napkin what are you going to do in the napkin it's because I feel like my
lipstick kind of fucking up oh nice well we got to go live at six anyway so I feel like we're
kind of towards you
of this. So is he your assistant or what do you call him? Yeah, he's like my manager. Oh, okay. Yeah.
So what does he do for you? Helps involved in all kinds of things. Helps you with like my schedule,
you know, that kind of thing. Pop star shit. Napkin gang. Yep. Napkin gang. We're starting a new thing.
I think I got most of the questions out of the way here for sure. Okay. So shout out to my boy,
Duna for putting us in touch. Oh, I love Duno. Shout out to Duno. Right. Duna.
is a he's he's he's heartbroken why because there's a girl named avocado thawdy and he tried to
holler at her and she wasn't having it avocado thawdy yeah what the fuck that's a sick ass name
this was like six months ago but he tried to holler at her and she wasn't having it so ever since
i think if you know any girls who would treat duno well yeah he's a thug
i'll ask people on my instagram he told us he beat somebody up in a fucking parking lot the other
day damn i was pretty impressed i'm like i ain't hit anybody in years he'd be he'd be he'd
out in the streets. Oh yeah.
Like, he don't be scared.
Drunk as fuck. Yeah, he don't be scared.
No, he doesn't give a fuck. I think for a girl is worse.
Yeah? I think, yeah.
When's the last time you punched a bitch on the face?
Oh my God. The last time I got in a fight was when I lived in Riverside.
Really? I kind of started popping off at that time, so I had to get out of that city.
Really? So how was you popping off related to the fight? What happened?
Well, I think at that time, it wasn't even about the popping off, but it was just, it's so
happened to, but it was from, it was because we were both talking to this guy at the same time.
Okay.
But like, he cheated on me too, so like, girl.
But I thought you've been with this dude that you're with forever.
Yeah, but like when I lived in Riverside.
Oh, so this is a while ago?
This is a long time ago.
Oh, so you meant popping off like in general before the music.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Because like popping off, like I also consider like the whole makeup thing popping off and just like
making it out of my city.
Right.
You know what I mean?
100%.
I feel like I've had different comeups.
And you're putting Riverside on the man.
Yep.
Because I think when a lot of people think about Riverside, they just think about like people doing meth and
their monster energy.
What the fuck?
That's hilarious.
Is that?
Am I off base?
Riverside is growing.
Riverside is growing now.
People are going to fucking hate me from Riverside for stereotype in them like that.
But whenever I didn't say that.
When I go to Riverside, every fucking truck I see, everybody has the lifted truck and everybody
has a big monster energy sticker on the back.
And then you drive up close to him and you see that they're literally drinking a monster energy
and a bang energy at the same time.
And you're like, yep, I'm in Riverside.
I've seen the mayor of Riverside doing that.
The mayor?
I don't know, but maybe.
