Starting point is 00:00:00 No Jumper, coolest podcast in the world. And today we got the homie MacJ on the podcast. How you living, man? Macaroni, man. I'm doing my thing, man. True story, no story. You know what I'm saying? This guy's got some of the best slang ever.
Starting point is 00:00:14 He just was talking about the hospital and he goes, damn, they sent him to the spittle? They sent him to the spittle, bro. Yeah, I'm telling you, bro, this shit just, like, I don't know, bro. Nicky don't even be, like, it's just regular. Like, it's really the stupidest shit. Like, I don't know. When you just conversating with somebody, you know, you're in the end. up saying something on accident and then that's just to come out till you feel me be the shit
Starting point is 00:00:34 well i don't know that's how we be coming up with shit it's just be dumb shit like niggas just talking i used to experience that so much when i used to just be riding bikes in the neighborhood and everything like all the time because when you just are kicking it with the same people and you just out in the street you'll just slowly you and your friends start coming up a weirder and weirder slang and you don't even know like that's gonna be the slang you feel me you think you just talking shit with the homies like and end up being some shit like niggie nigg could put some of that shit on a shirt and sell that shit you don't even know right y'all just talking and I still bust out random ass slang that I used to say when I was like 19 and people would be like
Starting point is 00:01:07 what the fuck is that what y'all used to be saying bro I remember like if something was cool we used to say like milk milk dead ass that ass bro you didn't not say milk I swear on my life we used to say wet and we used to say oh yeah wet for sure wet has held on we thought we invented that I don't know yeah I don't know niggia I know for sure needs to say wet though, on God. I remember when we're saying Little Roo had a song called wet on God. That shit used to go crazy though.
Starting point is 00:01:35 Right. Now people would be like, oh, that car is wet, his outfit's wet. Yeah, it's just regular. Yeah. We used to say oil too. Say that shit oil.
Starting point is 00:01:43 Why? Because it's slick. And we weren't even rappers. Bro, I ain't no way y'all said, milk or oil, dog. All my life. That's crazy. New York City back in the day.
Starting point is 00:01:54 I don't know. I doubt there's anyone who could really confirm it for me, but. Yeah, that's crazy, bro. Milk and oil. I ain't heard. that, bro. They don't mix. That shit WD40, bro. That shit going crazy. Factoid. So, yo, tell me a little bit
Starting point is 00:02:06 about you growing up and everything. All right, boom. We could talk about slang all the day, man. I just thought of so many more, too. You know how everybody adds Inkton to the end of shit, like Poppington? I swear I was doing that in like 2003. Where are you, I mean, like where you was in school, 2003? That's when it really kicked in. Like, when niggas at school, like junior high school and shit, y'all little groups, like when you ditching and shit. That's when the shit really kick in. You don't even notice the shit kicking in, though, on God. The code.
Starting point is 00:02:36 Yeah, on God, it'd be the code. Niggie on God. You don't even know to that shit stick, though. My bad. You can start tell us where you're from. I got too excited. I started talking about this. Oh, yeah, boom. Sacramento, boom. I was living in the North Sacramento my whole life, boom. I'm just a family niggas, so, like,
Starting point is 00:02:54 I don't know. Like, I always been around family, and my family, my whole family from the South so like me my brother and sisters I got oh my fault I got what
Starting point is 00:03:07 three three sisters but one didn't live with us boop and one little brother I got another brother too but he didn't live with us but so the ones that did live with us
Starting point is 00:03:17 we all lived in the North family the rest of my family was in the South like what's the name moved to the North too but went right back to the South so nigga was always in the South though you feel me boom So like from there to there The whole time, boom
Starting point is 00:03:31 Went to school in the north Let me see Went to jail From the north What I did? So yeah, dinner So you moved around a bunch Yeah, I never moved though
Starting point is 00:03:47 I'm saying I never moved like just like you know And they get out of school or whatever You're done with the school like you know in a weekend come And you could go hang with your cousins or whatever You feel me like Or whatever Like when you, when niggas ain't at home, that's where I'm going to my cousin's shit. But did you grow up thinking like, it's a bad idea for me to leave my neighborhood?
Starting point is 00:04:05 Like, I should stay close to home because shit's dangerous as hell. Nobody, I don't know if people think, like, we're, for sure, especially when you're young, you don't even be thinking no shit like that. Like, you don't even, like, the neighborhood is like, I don't know. This shit just, it's a normal day. You know what I'm talking about? Like, you just wake up to the same shit every day, damn near, like. But in L.A., it's like, you know, there's areas where if you go.
Starting point is 00:04:27 to that area and you're not from that area, you're like almost certainly going to, at the very least, get humiliated and get your butt kicked, get your wallet took. It ain't had no shit like that. It wasn't like that. Hell no. Fuck no. I don't know how it was for other niggas, but hell, I ain't never experienced no shit like that. Word.
Starting point is 00:04:44 Hell no. So what kind of upbringing did you have? Like, what kind of kid were you in school and all that? All right, boom. I was always ditching my shit, boom. I had both parents, so I had mom and pops, booed. But they always been doing their own, like, they're the reason a nigger, like, I know how to hustle, you feel me, like, because they just been hustling my whole life, like, especially my pops, like,
Starting point is 00:05:07 that's what that nigger always, like, you feel me, but boom. So with school, I was ditching. I wasn't put, like, oh, my mom used to whip my ass for this shit. Like, me, I used to have crazy-ass grades until it was time to play basketball, though. That's when niggas get it together. Like, either you're going to get kicked off the team or you can't. ain't play, so a niggas try to get this shit together. But that's what I learned.
Starting point is 00:05:30 As long as you get all C's, you can do whatever you want. You're going to for sure be able to play. Long as you get them Cs, like, you good. Then I found out later on, you can even get Ds and still be passing on God. Like, a lot of people don't be knowing that. I was very much a C student for most of my school time. I ain't going to lie that. Like, when I had Cs, that's when I was doing good.
Starting point is 00:05:52 Like, like, everything else was EFs and Ds. And I would get like an E and R. In art class, I'll get at A. At A? But everything else was... Oh, God, I had F-minus, I swear to God. But that's crazy. I had an art class, too.
Starting point is 00:06:05 I had like a... I think I had a CRD in that motherfucker. He was actually easy. Like, it really wasn't like... It was simple as fuck. And then, like, P.E. would be easy to pass, but I barely would pass in it because the nigga...
Starting point is 00:06:19 You don't even... You feel me? Bring shorts, change? Fuck, no, no. In school? Fuck all that. That just... I just felt like the most comming-
Starting point is 00:06:27 You're not doing that. You ain't doing that shit. Especially you gotta go to the lock, like, once I peep, we got lockers, we gotta go to the lockers. I gotta take what I just, first of all, I'm trying to get fresh for school, first of all, you feel me, boom.
Starting point is 00:06:39 So, boom, when I get to PE, you trying to make me take this shit off, bro, like, and put on some shorts that y'all go. And then they never give you the right size shit, like your shit always shorter than. Especially like when we growing up, you know, that was sagging era came, you feel me?
Starting point is 00:06:54 So like, niggie ain't trying to wear no. family 70s basketball shorts kneecaps showing as she is hell because like I get why gym class exists because it is cool to explain to a kid like oh this is the idea of like going to the gym and working out is good for a kid to know that but at the same time you're going to school the whole day you're telling me you want me to bring a whole separate outfit to work out and then you also want me to go shower naked with everybody I go to school with which I'm 13 I've not done this this is weird I mean it would be weird right now at 37 too but it would have been really weird at 13
Starting point is 00:07:25 Yeah Sounds like prison basically Like a nigga in a pen or something like that For real You ain't trying to do that shit Like we used to go I used to go to P.E. Just to play basketball
Starting point is 00:07:36 Bro like you're just hooping like And then you'll be there for like From then to the rest of the periods It depends on who in the gym at the time Like you got a cool look like You feel me So a nigga be able to be hooping in there For the rest of the periods
Starting point is 00:07:48 Or just leave campus type shit like I don't really remember showering that much So I feel like I was like Shooting Hoops And running and then I didn't shower I never even experienced the showers or nothing. I don't remember it, yeah. Especially during school, like, I never experienced no shit like that.
Starting point is 00:08:02 Like, I don't even know, like, that was always, like, some weird shit. Like, niggins, I ain't fin to do that. I'd rather go home, bro. I think I remember doing it when I was, I was, like, 13, and I think I did it once in. I don't think I ever did it again. Yeah, it probably scars you for life. It's just unnecessary. I'm here to learn not get naked with the homies.
Starting point is 00:08:20 Yeah, God, that's not happening. What the fuck I look like, bro? Yeah, no. Yeah, that shit was never cool. Were you getting in trouble a lot in school and shit? Yeah, for sure. Most of it came from ditching and just not doing my shit, bro. Like, not paying attention.
Starting point is 00:08:34 Like, R.S.O. Boom. Junior high school, a nigga used to get it. It was damn they're all from ditching. You know, God. Or, like, getting kicked out of class, fin a fight type shit. Like, it would be shit like that, too. But majority of the time, it was just ditching, though. Like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:50 I remember one time it was so crazy. It was in junior high school at King, Martin Luther King. Boom. It was like a little tuck spot. Like, it was crazy. Like, it was a little
Starting point is 00:09:00 tuck spot where niggas could go. You could ditch, you could just hang out right there, your little group. But it's a hole in the gate, though.
Starting point is 00:09:06 You feel me? Like it's a hole in the gate. So, like, when you hear the security come, everybody just busts through the hole in the gate. You feel me? And one day,
Starting point is 00:09:12 it was dinner. It was a couple of us back there. So boom, we hear the niggum coming. The niggins start yelling. He already at the gate. He didn't just snuck up
Starting point is 00:09:22 on us or something. So he already at the gate. what y'all doing back here type shit boom everybody running through the hole so it's a little ass hole so you gotta wait one by one you feel in me like you're pushing niggas through the hole and shit so boom when it's my time to go through the hole
Starting point is 00:09:36 I swear to God bro when this shit happened like I don't know if you know like when you black parents bro when you get calls from school or anything like the ride home especially if it's a bus ride home is the worst shit ever like you don't even want to go home on God so boom this happened
Starting point is 00:09:53 yeah what you're about to walk Everybody going through the hole. Boom. Now it's my turn to go through the hole. The nigga already in, like, he already made his way in the little section, you feel me? So I'm trying to run through the hole. The shit ripped my backpack off, bro.
Starting point is 00:10:06 On God, the shit ripped my backpack off. My backpack fall in the hole and I'm just running. Boom, I get out of there. So I come to school the next day, boom, call me right to the office. Is this your backpack? They got my, you know, name on all the paperwork. On God, I'm like, ah, this shit did not just happen to me. And I knew it was finna happen, though,
Starting point is 00:10:23 because they found my, backpack, you feel me? Right. Yeah, I didn't even have to finish my day of school. Mom, Dukes told me, bring your ass here right now. Like, she can't wait to, you know. All you were doing was sitting in the whole smoking
Starting point is 00:10:34 weed with the homies. I was even smoking weed, bro. I don't even think nobody was smoking weed for real. I thought that's what you guys were doing in there. Okay. Yeah. You were just escaping. Yeah, it was just some ditching shit.
Starting point is 00:10:44 Like, that would be the spot to go before we even leave. Like, that's like where you go to for passing period type of shit. Like, Booke. And then when it's time, when you, When it's clear, and he can pop out the hole, and then you just go wander,
Starting point is 00:10:57 you go to the neighborhood, go to the grocery store, just, hellelujah, you feel me? Like, I don't know, child, this shit. Right. That's crazy, yeah. Okay, so when you were that young, though, were you thinking about music? Were you just, like, in high school?
Starting point is 00:11:12 Was music art in your head? That was junior high school, but, hell no. Like, at that time, like, music, like, niggie used to rap with the rap, like, the songs and shit, you feel? Like, so really rapping was all. always easy to me because like it was easy for me just to wrap the songs that's out like whatever song popping like you hear that shit so much especially with the radio like you know they used to play
Starting point is 00:11:34 the same songs over and over so it's easy to just I don't know like it was easy but I was hooping though I really wanted to hoop you feel me like I think that's everybody like everybody go through that little hooping phase or whatever so boom I really wanted to hoop and then from near all that ditching shit caught up, boot. So we had, oh, that's when I get to grant, that's when I get to high school, boom. We had a little, it was like some
Starting point is 00:11:59 little, it was like continuation school before continuation school, like, you'd get the boot, just the real school right here, you'd get the boot from this school and they put you in the back in some trailers type shit, like, so I'm back there, I get the boot to back there, boom, and that's like the last straw, you feel, me?
Starting point is 00:12:15 Like, before you go to, before they kick you out. So boom, I'm back there, and then, I think I'm back there for like the rest of the semester or like dinner almost a year type shit like probably like probably like almost the end of 10th grade type shit uh I can't remember but boom got the boot from near I swear sniggin' mr. Jones used to hate me though bro. Like I swear this nigga just kicked me out for nothing. I remember one time I'm coming to school early morning boom coming to school and you know you could everybody going to the cafeteria for breakfast even if you ain't getting breakfast you're just going to see what. with the homies doing type shit. Boom, I'm walking up the path.
Starting point is 00:12:54 The nigga come out the door. Like, he comes out the door. He's already on the phone. Boom. Soon as he see me, he said my government name, but he's saying it on the phone like, oh yeah, add him to the list too. Like, you need, I ain't do shit, but walk up.
Starting point is 00:13:07 Niggia, like, oh, yeah, add him to the list too. Boom. I'm like, what the fuck? He, niggas. Like, it was a nothing. And then a week later, I get kicked out. So I don't know if that was the list, the nigga one's like.
Starting point is 00:13:17 And you don't even know why you got kicked out? No, I know it's from ditching because I got sent to the niggas a million times, but I didn't do shit that day. I just got to school. It's weird to kick a kid out of school for not going to school. Yeah, some weird shit. You haven't come here enough,
Starting point is 00:13:32 so we're going to just give up on you and ban you from coming here. You obviously didn't want to come here, but now you're banned. Yeah, and then, like, majority of time, niggas be ditching. You really ain't even ditching. You're just in a gym hooping. Like, you just ain't in class.
Starting point is 00:13:44 Like, sometimes you'll really still be on campus. And if they catch you, they'll send you to class or whatever. Sometimes, niggas would be gone. But a majority of time, nigga be still at the school. Like, you just got to find the nigga, like find your group. Like, niggas be around that motherfucker, though.
Starting point is 00:13:58 But yeah, I get the boot. I go to the little, what's the name? Little trailers. Then when that shit happened, and they give me the boot from that, bro, this shit is so crazy. They send me to Vista Nueva.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Boom, that's a little continuation school. So, it was like orientation day or some shit. And I go up there. The whole time, I'm like, I don't want to go. Like, you feel me? I'm like, damn, I just want to be where I was just at.
Starting point is 00:14:26 You feel me? Like, if I do got to go to school and Mom Duke's saying, they ain't playing none of that, you got to go to school for sure. Like, so boom. Man, when I go to orientation, I see all the homies up there. Like, I'm talking about, like, it's like, I don't know if it's jail before jail, but that's what it seemed to, like,
Starting point is 00:14:43 they had everybody locked in that motherfucker. Like, they had security. That's where it was real security guards at. Like, I ain't never seen it until I got to continuation school. It is the same idea as, like, jail. Because it's like, oh, it's like all the lit kids in one place. Yeah, on God. And I ain't even knowing this where niggas was at, though.
Starting point is 00:14:59 Like, when I get there, I'm like, this is where you been? Bro, I swear to God, boom, I get there, right? They had orientation in a gym slash cafeteria. It was a gym and a cafeteria at the same time. Right. Bro, they all like, uh, niggas a basketball team here. And they play for the team. I'm like, bro, ain't no way a continuation school got a basketball team, bro.
Starting point is 00:15:19 Like, once this, once I get the boot, I really was like, oh yeah, I ain't fin of hoop, me, this shit over with me. Because I know, I know for sure you got to go to high school and go to college and then you could, you feel me? Like, so I'm like, once they get the boot, it was over. It just went out the window for me. And then I'm like, when I get there, they like, it's a basketball team. I'm like, how the fuck y'all got to, who do y'all play?
Starting point is 00:15:38 Like, who do you all play? Like, who do you feel me? Yeah. Nigel, I find out it's a whole, like, it's a whole fucking shit going on over there. They play other continuation schools. The niggas go to championships and hell of this shit, then you could like, you go to, uh, what's that shit called?
Starting point is 00:15:54 Hey, you or some shit, like, if it's, like, I don't know. I don't know, bro, we were supposed to do that too, but then about the time that shit came, like, I don't know if they couldn't afford it. It was some shit that we didn't know nothing about, though. But it just was over with, though, after that. So, do you finish high school?
Starting point is 00:16:10 No, almost, though. Like, you know, continuation schools, you could try to get your credits up type shit. So, boom, I was dinner like, like 60. credit shorter some shit 64 or some shit like that but yeah I ain't get it though okay and so what do you do after high school after high school then it was just it was just whatever from me like I don't know niggas outside you know when it'd be out you just get caught up in everything when you get outside so boom nigga outside and then still still I wasn't thinking on no like
Starting point is 00:16:44 like I'm a I'm a rat you feel like I still wasn't thinking that like that like that's That's when I start really trying it, though. You feel me? Like, that's when a nigga started trying it. Like, my cousin had a little get-together in his garage or whatever. So a nigga started playing with it over there. But, yeah, a nigga was just outside getting into trouble and hell of shit. Were you just doing fuck shit?
Starting point is 00:17:06 Or were you, like, really mastermind in, like, you know, there's, like, hustling, like, day-to-day. And then there's, like, really trying to put together some plays. How far along did you get in this world? Everybody would be thinking, like, they're going to put some big shit together, but no, hell no, it was just like, niggas selling weed. Like, yeah, niggas just selling
Starting point is 00:17:25 weed type shit. Like, I was, that was before a nigga graduated to selling anything else. It was just weed. And this is, this is when, this is when niggas used to have the little baggies, you know what I'm talking about? And like, point sixes for, you know what I'm talking about? No, goddamn, yeah, I was filling them up.
Starting point is 00:17:41 Boop, filling them up. Nick, I'm catching the buses. Like, like, they done her kicking me off city buses for smelling like weed. Like, yeah, it's got stashing my sock oh yeah then boom i get i get sent to what's the name too oh wait no yeah that was a couple years after but i get sent to the uh uh uh what's that shit called again but uh job core job core oh but it's called it was called something else though but it was the same shit though but oh my fault it was the same shit though it's some job court shit though
Starting point is 00:18:11 but um yeah niggie going this going to that shit where we with the little baggies just on some You're thinking at that time, you're thinking you on some big trapping shit. I'm fucking Rick Ross in this bitch. I got these nicks on me. That's how you feeling, bro. Like, like, nigga, they used to come in the classroom. Like, we smell weed in here and I'll be having a fake sleep. Like, and then if they come to your desk and pick you like specifically, like it's
Starting point is 00:18:38 coming from right here, bro, you have to go type shit. It's easier to forget how crazy weed smells because we have it around us all the time and you get numb to it. But like, the homie gave me a little quarter. the other day and I put it in my girl's car she comes back in the car like an hour later she's like holy I can't believe I must the car smell like on my mama yeah just sitting at the bottom of a purse
Starting point is 00:18:57 and it could be something that's my it could be a little eighth like nigger that shit be so loud and that's why I understand when the cops pull you over and they're like oh we smell weed it's like you probably do even if I ain't smoked in a few days yeah yeah yeah they be trying to use that shit for anything like nigga I don't see niggas that don't even
Starting point is 00:19:13 smoke like at all like and they use that just to search the car like man come on man they you's whatever, but for show though, like, they used to come in that class, like, it don't matter if I got two little, two baggies, nigga, like, once I see the main like principal, I guess, whatever,
Starting point is 00:19:29 come walking through that motherfucker, I try to be like, I go to the bathroom, like, just to get out of there, because I know you smelling the weed in here, you feel me, like, nope, boop, I get the boot, catch the light rail, catch the bus, get sent back to the spaghetti. I remember, like, I've been out here for mad years, and I went back
Starting point is 00:19:45 to New York, and I pull up at, like, a rapper's crib to, to, to, you him and then the dude is there selling him weed and the dude got a whole vacuum sealer he got everything and i'm like oh right it's different out here yeah it's big time you really don't want it like now i guess it's legalizing everything in new york this a couple years ago but i was like damn y'all are really like worried about the cops pulling you over and smelling the shit in LA we forgot about that a long time ago my mama yeah california they like nilla didn't even know like how good we had it with the weed like bro the mother some niggas new though like the ones that
Starting point is 00:20:16 been doing this shit like they already knew what's up but A lot of people found out later Like, bro, that shit really illegal over there Like, you get caught with some... Then little Boosie go to jail for like Then they're a blunt or some stupid ass shit like that I was reading an old issue of the source from the 90s Bro, in the news section
Starting point is 00:20:32 Everything is like, little Kim got arrested Because she got pulled over and had some weed on her Fuck every fucking rabber, everyone is like They got pulled over and they had a little weed on them And they just are getting arrested nonstop Out of pocket, bro, out of pocket. And then now we illegal to them motherfucker They probably regretting all that.
Starting point is 00:20:48 And I know people who like did you know 10 year bids for like having a couple pounds and shit. It's still in jail right now from some stupid ass weed, bro. And it's shit legal now. Like how that shit worked me like bananas. Yeah, that's crazy. But um, okay, let me ask you this though is when did you actually meet Briss? Oh, he was already there. Okay.
Starting point is 00:21:07 Your whole life you were cool with him. Like, yeah, yeah, he was already, he was there like the whole time, bro, like this shit. Like this really like for real, for real. my blood cousin. I'm talking about, like, when you, when you kids and you don't even know, you know, when you really start noticing who motherfuckers is, like, later on in life, when you see pictures like, oh, that was me, so-and-so, so-and-so. Like, he was already there, like, back in them days.
Starting point is 00:21:31 Okay. And was he, like, into the rapping thing before you? No, hell no. Really? I was before that, nigga. But, like, all right, boom. I started rapping, like, when my cousin had the little shit in the garage, boom, we started then.
Starting point is 00:21:46 But it was, like, nobody was, you feel him? Like, you wasn't even showing motherfuckers at that time. Like, you didn't want to show, niggas. But boom, start it then or whatever. And then I had this older cousin that was doing music type shit. Like, he wasn't rapping or nothing, but he called it, like, manager-type activity, you feel me? He had a studio, like, a better studio in the garage. Like, what we came from was, like, dinner using a little fake-ass mic, you feel, me?
Starting point is 00:22:14 and a little mixed craft on a big-ass desktop that motherfucker cut off whenever it it wants to type shit and bray had a boof you feel him he had a boof macbook so it was spectacular type shit you feel
Starting point is 00:22:28 but really it wasn't it was just some shit in the garage but at the time I was like niggie but just this out this out I swear to God before I even start fucking with him though I went to the nigger Facebook like let me see what he doing
Starting point is 00:22:40 but the nigga pitcher he didn't like a big ass studio though you feel me like like one of them ones like a real studio like with the window you know you could see you could talk to the nigga through the windows it's mic in there it's padded everywhere like real big as you feel big ass speakers all it's just so i'm like oh we gotta go fuck with him he got real studio over there but then it's funny because all the huge rappers i know most of them record like in the hotel room or like in in the living room at the house you know that's that's yeah i'm saying bro this shit crazy how it played out like that wrong god because then i'm thinking like
Starting point is 00:23:11 the nigga got bit i'm thinking it's going down over there you feel me so but Boom. Now it's time. Like, the nigga like, yeah, meet me at the studio, bro. Just the address. Send me an address. Boom. We outside of a little house, a little regular little, you feel me. We in the hood. It's off.
Starting point is 00:23:25 Mac Rose, Center Parkway. You feel me? It's just South Sack. Boom. I'm like, this shit don't look like. I'm looking at the Facebook. Like, ain't no way. This is in here, bro.
Starting point is 00:23:36 Like, you feel me? The nigga lift the garage. I'm like, we ain't here. I'm like, bro. Ain't no way. I thought you just had this, nigga. This nigga was in that, though. God, it was like...
Starting point is 00:23:47 But it was still better than what we just came from, though. You feel me? So I'm like, all right, boom, we can fuck with it. He was in a whole different program. I'm thinking this to shit. Like, you feel me? So that's where I started really rapping, like, recording my shit. Rich was there for that shit, too.
Starting point is 00:24:03 He got on, like, one of my first little mixtapes, I guess. You feel me? Like, I don't know. He just was putting shit together. Did you think you guys were nice at that time? You're like, damn, we actually got something. Everybody think they're nice at the time, but like back then, like, we for sure thought we was nice, for sure, for sure.
Starting point is 00:24:20 And then this I really thought I was nice because the nigga down fucking weird, he got his own little label, you feel me? Like, I do like three songs in an hour, you feel me like some shit I had wrote, like, and then it was some shit I had didn't even write. Like, the guy got kicked off the bus in school. So like the whole walk, a nigga just be just thinking of shit, you feel like, and then it was just easier. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:24:42 I never even wrote shit down. have a whole rap in my head. A whole song, though, you feel me? Like, nigga, three verses, a hook all in my head about the time I get to the school, you feel me? So, boom. I never recorded, though. It just, like, just, I don't know, it was just easy.
Starting point is 00:24:58 Like, the whole walk to school running from dogs and shit, you feel me, just before I even had a bike to just ride to school. But, I don't God, just that whole trip, like, that was just easy to take my mind off to just what I got going on. So, boom, nigga was doing that.
Starting point is 00:25:13 And then, so when he had that clean studio, it was easy for me to just come find a beat and knock some shit out real quick, boom. The nigga like, oh yeah, little cousin, I got a sign you, cousin. So I'm like, oh yeah, I'm going crazy, you're trying to sign me? Feel me?
Starting point is 00:25:27 I'm like, I'm knowing he ain't got no chicken, though, because I see what's going on, you feel me? But I'm like, I'm like, nigga could make some chicken, like, you feel me? He must know it. He must know it. He knows something, you feel me? And I don't know.
Starting point is 00:25:39 I just like, all right, boom, I'm going to fuck with it, boom. So I'm fucking with that. I'm over there like we over there like all night type shit like really all nighters in that motherfucker just trying to whip up some shit but that shit was just regular dagger though like at the time it was like oh yeah we're going crazy bro like we was even thinking about shooting videos to shit at that time
Starting point is 00:26:01 we just like we're going crazy like nigga nigga if we send this demo out nigga they're going to sign us type shit like were you even thinking about like yo I'm gonna put this shit on YouTube and we might be able to do a million views never never never never thought that knee like this is what this is this is this is still when like like demo shit was going on like I'm thinking like like like niggas seeing seeing niggas rap for other like rappers and then they get on from that like catch this nigga if we go to LA nigga we see what's the name come out nigga I spit this shit right here to that nigga they're gonna for show fuck with us it was that type of shit going like that type of air
Starting point is 00:26:35 you were so in the streets that you really want to think about the internet or nothing at all my mom wasn't thinking nothing like the internet at all like like like at all. I'm talking about niggot, nigga thought like when we uploaded this shit
Starting point is 00:26:47 to iTunes or whatever like we thinking we did something like we like Nicky we on iTunes Nicky like bro I swear to God like we really thought
Starting point is 00:26:57 that was like the iTunes like we could sell this shit type shit like I don't know it was crazy and then we then I start thinking
Starting point is 00:27:03 like boom if we press these motherfuckers up nigga on God pressed up like a hundred we can sell them a $10 a piece What years is? I don't even remember bro
Starting point is 00:27:11 This before my first, this for sure before my first video, and I think my first video was like, like, 2015. Okay, so you've been at it for a while. Yeah, that was like, that was like my first, like, I'm like, this is when I went to jail, I'm on house arrest. I'm like, then, this is my, I got a strike. It's like, I'm like, this is my only option now. Like everything else went out the window.
Starting point is 00:27:34 I ain't finny to do no job. You feel, me? Like, that shit. So I'm like, all right, I'm going to just try this shit, bro. And I like, see, see what it does. do whatever. So, boom, that's when I started doing that. Yeah, that was like, I think my first video was like 2015, yeah. Right. So did it start picking up or how long did it take before you felt like you were building something up? All right. So boom, I was fucking with bruh. So he like,
Starting point is 00:28:00 we got a show coming up at, uh, what that shit was called Pinkies. We got a show coming up at Pinkies, bro, so I'm like, oh yeah, we're going. Like the way he like was putting together a sound like, I'm gonna do something. This shit could have just been open mic, though. You feel me? But he bringing it to me like, we got a show coming up. So I'm like, oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:20 So I'm thinking a nigga doing cool. I don't know, but the first video, I don't even remember what the fuck my views was doing on God. Like, I think it was doing cool, though. I think it was cool, especially for my first jump. My first video, I think it was cool. Let me see. Yeah, I don't even remember what the fuck I got.
Starting point is 00:28:41 But at that time, like, nigga wanted it so bad. I didn't even give a fuck what it got. I was already on some, like, oh, when I do this next one like this? You feel me? And then at that time, by the time my second one came,
Starting point is 00:28:53 I'm starting to peep, like, nigga, you could pay for your own shit. Like, you ain't got to, you feel me? You don't got to get signed the niggins to do. Like, at that time, we think you got to get signed to do real videos.
Starting point is 00:29:04 Like, go to a real studio. I'm still in the garage. I'm like, I ain't even knowing it's studios in my city, bro. I googled that shit one day like, nigga on God, I had made some shit at the nigger's shit, you feel me? And I'm like, bro, I want to go take this
Starting point is 00:29:20 to the real studio, you feel me? And, bro, it was on some, like, that's a waste of time type shit. That's what he was preaching, you feel me? So I'm like, man, I ain't worry about that. I'm fin of Google this shit. Boom, I Google it. And hell of studios popped up,
Starting point is 00:29:32 so I just picked the best-looking one. I didn't even care about how it sounded and it looked at the best thing. So boom, I went to that motherfucker, and I had, bro, mix it. I rewrapped some shit and I shot a video to that and you know, God,
Starting point is 00:29:44 then that's when it really started picking up and it's, I only had Facebook I think at the time but everybody was sharing my shit you feel in me like not even everybody just like my circle type shit like everybody like I knew
Starting point is 00:29:57 or some motherfuckers from school you feel me, little shit like that like that type of shit that's enough for niggas to you feel me like that's enough for a nigga to keep going if the homie's in it's him and what's name I went to school and said that's him
Starting point is 00:30:10 Oh yeah, I'm gonna do another one. You feel like me? It was shit like that. Definitely. So when did you really start to feel like you guys became like very well known though? Because it definitely hit like a different level where all of a sudden the attention was at a different level. I made art. So at this time, Brits still ain't even made a song.
Starting point is 00:30:30 He got on one of my songs, Boop. And then he had did some shit at my cousin like wherever they was at somewhere and they did some little shit. You feel. me. Boom. But that was his only two But even then when he did that I knew the nigga wanted to rap
Starting point is 00:30:44 You feel me? But he just didn't care Like he just did it whenever he wanted to Like oh let me get on this You feel me shit like that Like he never wanted to just go make his own songs Or nothing like that Feel me so boom
Starting point is 00:30:55 I had made Flip Game Strong I made a song called Flip Game Strong I shot a video to that motherfucker Boom That was the one that picked up for And at that time it was like hell of shit was picking up.
Starting point is 00:31:10 I don't know if just sack was just lit at the time, but this shit started picking up, though. What's the name? The Neffnigot had his little shit going on right there. Then they started playing our shit on the radio. Like, it was some shit called, What the fuck that shit was called? It was on 103.5.
Starting point is 00:31:28 It was called something. I don't know, bro. But they'd play like locals who pop in as local. You feel me? They were playing my shit. It was playing brush shit. I think that I didn't think they was playing a little Deary on shit after a while.
Starting point is 00:31:40 I think his shit came later though, but they for sure, they had our shit in a little rotation. It was only at night time, though, you feel it me. It was in that major. But that shit was major to niggas back then, though, like, niggas on the radio. We on the radio. Like, go listen to the radio. We on there. Shit like that. So I think that's when it
Starting point is 00:31:56 really started picking up for me. Like, I started doing little getting posters and shit. Like, I think at that time I had went to jail again. Like, every time I came home from jail, it was like another run. Like, I'm like, all right, because you know, you go to jail, you start taking shit serious. Like, all right, I ain't going to do this shit.
Starting point is 00:32:13 I ain't, I ain't playing like that no, boom. I ain't fin to keep coming back to this motherfucker. Ben myself, boom. Niggins start being their master plan. Like, all right, when I get out, I'm doing this shit. I'm doing that. I'm doing this. I'm taking this shit serious.
Starting point is 00:32:26 So when I got out, I'm getting posters, putting up posters and hell of shit. I don't even know if I had an Instagram at that. Oh, yeah, I did. I think I had just started my Instagram at that time. I had a, I made a Twitter. I never took Twitter serious, though. Like, to this day, I swear to God, I don't even understand why people fuck with Twitter like that. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:32:47 There's, like, no popular rappers are still on Twitter, I don't think. Yeah, like, I swear to God, it's crazy, though, because, like, at the time, that's all they was talking about, like, Twitter and I made that motherfucker. And I'm like, bro, you got, it ain't been nothing going on. Like, what the fuck so special about this, bro? Like, I never caught on to that, but I made one of them motherfuckers don't God. But, yeah, that's when it really, like, the name started. picking up.
Starting point is 00:33:09 I feel like when Meek Mills on Twitter, people are like, you're too famous. You shouldn't be on Twitter. Yeah, see, that what I'm saying? It's at that point now, on God. But at that time, it was lit to be on that motherfucker. Like, especially you having hella followers and all that shit. Like, I didn't even know how to go about that. Like, I'm seeing niggas.
Starting point is 00:33:27 Like, I'm seeing niggas I know pay for followers and views and shit at the time. I'm like, I never take that route on God. I don't even know how they do that. But I never take that route, though. my mama. Like, I always thought that, but niggas was doing that. Like, that's how you know it was serious. When you first got into the music shit, how much was beef and street shit an element of it in terms of, like, people being mad at you getting some traction, people being mad? Like, did you feel like just by you making music that you were going to have a whole other side
Starting point is 00:33:57 mad at you and all this shit? Hell no. Like, at that time, it was like, uh, it wasn't really on the internet like that. You feel me? It wasn't on the internet. Like, it was more in the street. still like like niggas didn't really care about the rap shit until until like let me see alright so after my first video booed yeah all right so after my first one damn there after my second one after my second video and there's like around the same year like 2015 2016 type shit that's when it really start getting lit like when niggas making this songs like niggas was shooting uh what's name them was shooting videos at the same studio i'm talking about the macros center park where they shoot they're shooting they're
Starting point is 00:34:38 They little disc videos right there. You feel me? So I'm like, I'm seeing this shit, but I always was telling myself like, all right, I'm knowing I'm going back and forth to jail. I got a whole strike. I'm knowing not to play that. I'm like, like, nigga, whatever I do,
Starting point is 00:34:51 keep that shit off the internet because I'm seeing niggas get washed from that. You feel me? Like, I'm seeing that, I'm seeing that shit happen. So I'm like, I never, I'm like, I'm telling myself I never take that route. Like, I ain't doing that. I'm gonna just keep doing me,
Starting point is 00:35:04 stick to my own lane and that shit gonna pick up, Like, because I know I'm knowing we ain't got no weak shit. Like, you feel me? If it was some weak shit, it would have died down back then. You feel me? Right. So I'm like, if I just stick to this shit, this shit gonna go up.
Starting point is 00:35:18 And this is when we came with the true story shit at the time. You feel me? That's when the nigga came with that. Like, uh, not the first video or the second video. By my third video. By my, I think that's the one with Bub, I think. Yeah, by my third video, that's when a nigga came with the true story shit. Me and my cousin, Sean, boop.
Starting point is 00:35:36 And then, uh, I think that's the one. we had a little warehouse slash little trap spot we was renting you feel me it was supposed to be doing music shit in there but never end up doing even doing that shit but that's when uh brisk started really you feel me who wanted to get involved with this shit like I had went to jail for a second time was it the second one I went to say the second time and then I came home like are we doing this true story shit and I start pressing up shirts, hoodies you feel me boom I'm pressing that shit up
Starting point is 00:36:07 And after like the first year, damn near, like I had everybody wearing like, it's true story and every hood. Like, it's in, every hood and sack, nigga, like, this shit was so crazy how this shit played out, bro, on God. But every nigga in sack then had, like, even if they didn't have it, nigga, they didn't walk outside or went to their corner store and seen the nigga with a true story hoodie on, though. You feel me?
Starting point is 00:36:30 Like, this shit always meant, we ain't never, never changed that. It always been true story. You feel me? like, nigga, then then Brits start rapping. That's when Brits start rapping. After that, like, after, uh, we then are established the name, you feel me, boom. He like, uh, I'll finish with my first video.
Starting point is 00:36:49 His first video, me, is me and him called nonstop. Whatever year that was, that's when he started, you feel me? I don't even remember that was like 2017. What was that, nonstop one? Do you guessing? He guessed. That nigga guessing. My God, I think it's like 2016-17-tham-gat though.
Starting point is 00:37:12 But yeah, that's when, that was his first one right there, me and that nigga. For sure. So, okay, so I'm just trying to, like, figure out what the order of events are because you guys had this, like, blow up and then, you know, then it gets abruptly ended before it's supposed to, before it really, like, reaches where it's supposed to get, about how far along from your perspective did you guys really get with the music thing
Starting point is 00:37:39 before he lost his life? Like how early in your plans was it cut short? Take you through this trajectory. Like that shit was he was hella early. Like all right, boom. That nigga only had, well, he had hell of songs because it was hell of shit he didn't even put out. But like once the nigga went to jail,
Starting point is 00:38:02 like boom, he had went to jail after I went to jail. we was doing our little shit you feel me and he started his shit he started off with the nonstop what he had after that after that blue check he made blue check after that boom
Starting point is 00:38:17 yeah he made blue check after that and then they hit my auntie house that's where we was doing our like that's where they know they if you know you know you feel me like boom they hit that motherfucker he went to jail
Starting point is 00:38:31 when he came home but he made the for my family song and that was like his third song or something but that's when he was like oh yeah we're doing this you feel me like and about time when he came home it's like a true story everywhere you feel
Starting point is 00:38:48 me like we we established now in the city you feel me so boom it's just he started he started doing his shit right then and there and then let me see it really started like even then it wasn't going up like that it was going up but it wasn't going up like that like that like that
Starting point is 00:39:05 It started going up after, uh, let me see what song was it not for my family. What he did after that? I can't even think of what it was after that though, but niggas just started making so much shit. Like, we just started making so much shit to where it was like all that shit for real. Like we just nonstop after that, you feel me? Like after the blue tech, before my family, uh, niggas just nonstop. We just start doing hell of shit. Like, I was having shows in the city.
Starting point is 00:39:31 You feel me? He performing his shit. Like, yeah. Yeah, it started getting, it was super lit at that time on God. It was super lit. But that's when we really was knowing like, oh, yeah, we got something, you feel me? And even then the gang shit, like, they was, niggas was trying to tie it in.
Starting point is 00:39:46 Like, if you go back and look, I got interviews, like, saying, like, true story, not a gang. I'm trying my heart is nothing, you feel me, get the people involved with this shit, bro, because I'm seeing niggas get washed, like, over nothing. You feel me? Like, you know, they could say, need could, need could make up something right now, bro. like slap that shit on the shirt. We got like faux niggas rocking it.
Starting point is 00:40:09 And they could just, nigga, you go to jail for a pole, nigga and now you're getting gang enhancement. You feel me? Because we all rocking the same shit. Like, and it ain't got nothing to do with no gang shit. You feel me?
Starting point is 00:40:18 That's crazy because a lot of the kids who come out, they just are banging their, fucking their record label or their little crew or whatever. And they don't really like anticipate the shit that I've seen happen to Draco where he was just driving a car
Starting point is 00:40:30 and somebody who was with him ends up clapping somebody and then all of a sudden the gang enhance was on it. They're charging him. Like he's a gang leader. That easy, bro. Especially in sack, bro.
Starting point is 00:40:38 Like, I'm telling you, before it got lit like this, bro, like, this shit was, this shit been happening out there, like, that gang enhancement shit just, nigga, gang sweeps, all that shit, like, been going on out there. But the music scene wasn't popping, so a lot of motherfuckers wasn't seeing, like, feel me? Until, like, the first war was when, what's the name dropped that little disc song, you feel, me? And then the mall shit happened.
Starting point is 00:41:03 That was, like, when the first war, like, you feel me, like, kicked off. Well, for our generation, that was like the first little game war. What were you thinking when you were watching all that shit start to really pop off and you start really seeing? It's like, oh, there's really two sides to this shit and it's really not going to end anytime soon. Yeah, nigga I already knew it was two sides to this shit,
Starting point is 00:41:23 but at the time it was like, we ain't like, that's what they got going on. Like, we like looking on YouTube, like, oh, bro, just uploaded something. You feel me? Like, this shit was like entertainment for the city. You feel me? Like for motherfuckers that wasn't involved in the shit.
Starting point is 00:41:38 The same way it ended up being with you. On my mama, same way. Like people doing that shit right now. Like, oh, make Jay just... You feel me? That's why I be trying to steer away from even this songs and playing like that, bro. Because I know like that shit don't be...
Starting point is 00:41:52 That shit don't be bout nothing. Like, niggas, I ain't got nothing going on and be doing that type of shit, you feel me? Right. So at that time when you guys were coming up, it still felt like more of a possibility that you wouldn't necessarily have to be, like, roped into taking...
Starting point is 00:42:04 can... Right. Like, we always looked at it like that, like, all right, boom, it's this side. It's this side. We ain't got to fuck with none of them niggas.
Starting point is 00:42:12 Like, you feel me? We're gonna fuck with whoever we cool with. But, nigga, when it kind of is, we're gonna be the niggas right here. This is gonna be our shit. You feel me? Like, that niggas can fuck with us
Starting point is 00:42:22 if they were. That's if they choose to, nigga, but on both ends of the side, they're saying, oh, they, from there, like, they both sides got something to say.
Starting point is 00:42:29 You feel me? So, we just stuck to our shit. Like, bro, it don't matter. because at the end day, we family. So it's like we was already this before we came, we put a name on it. You feel, me?
Starting point is 00:42:39 We already rocking for each other before it had a name on it, before it was just true story. Like, Nick could have named it water bottle. You feel me? Our shit was going to be called water bottle. You feel me? Because we, it's just our family anyway. You feel me?
Starting point is 00:42:53 Like, we already rocking this, like, niggie, we're going to, like, when it's my little cousin's birthday or something, like, we the same niggas pulling up. Like, I could be there first. He might be there after me. but we all come into the same spot. Never fails every time. Right.
Starting point is 00:43:07 Feele me? So like this shit wasn't never like from a gang point of view. You feel me? It was never that. It was just always just like, nigga, I wish you, you can't tell me to stop fucking with my cousin,
Starting point is 00:43:16 nigga? I don't get a fuck. How long I knew you, nigga? Like that shit did, bro. God. But when did you start to feel like you had to move around
Starting point is 00:43:24 like it could happen to you anytime? Because I know you started to feel that hate in that sense. Yeah, that shit came later on. Like, like that shit. came later on because like even with the even with the rap like the
Starting point is 00:43:38 disses niggas be having that shit don't be like a lot of that shit be fabricated bro like niggas don't be like before we came to tell our side of the story bro niggas was talking about bodies and bodies and bodies on top of bodies in the city where we live and we like it is not that many
Starting point is 00:43:55 bodies going on it like niggas ain't dying left from right like that bro and god like nigga we live here too bro like y'all niggas paint the whole weird ass picture like, oh, these niggas is that when really it ain't even that going on. Like, the fucker you talking about, bro, and God, like,
Starting point is 00:44:10 niggas ain't, it wasn't no fucking big ass massacre going on out like, dear, like, niggas was dying. Outsiders, when we listen to certain disc songs or certain interviews or whatever, we're picturing sack and we're picturing just everybody dead. Yeah, see, at this stuff, right now, right now is, it's
Starting point is 00:44:27 up there. But at the time, like, when that first wave of Sacramento music, y'all was getting, nigga that shit was not like that. Like, nigga, if it was that many bodies going on, your whole group would be gone. You feel me? Like, when shit be lit, nigga, like, they be doing real sweeps and investigations
Starting point is 00:44:43 and niggas be going to jail, bro. Like, nigga, I didn't been on the news twice from stupid-ass shit. I got caught up in one of those before, you feel me? So I know I don't have my phone tap for three months, niggis. Really? On my son, bro, like, it's shit crazy, bro.
Starting point is 00:44:59 When I got arrested, when they hit the house and boom, they're searching and da-da-da. saying all this and that shit. It's crazy because, man, I said all this shit. When it first happened, I did a video, and this nigga, he didn't want to shot the video. That's what so crazy, bro.
Starting point is 00:45:12 God, but yeah, though, nigga, that shit. Nigger, yeah, they hit the house, boom. And then while I'm in handcuffs and shit after they don't search the shit, whatever they said, whatever they had to say, they bring you a piece of paper. It's a, uh, what that fuck is called? I want to say it's a warrant.
Starting point is 00:45:29 Like, we had a, it's a warrant. Like, boom, we had your phone. It's safe for exactly when they started till when it ended, you feel me? They did that. The same day they did this shit, they took like 20 other motherfuckers at jail, Neon God. They had hit the whole little apartment.
Starting point is 00:45:44 Like, they, nigga, it's an old lady that was, you feel me? I'm doing business with, you feel me? They had her phone tap, bro. I'm talking about a real old lady, like 60 years old, like, family, but she, I ain't gonna lie, she was selling weed like a motherfucker, like. She was
Starting point is 00:45:59 shit, her trap was booming, bro, but God, they even hit her. She's like, her phone tapping and shit too. But that's what I'm saying like,
Starting point is 00:46:07 if all this shit was going on, why y'all ain't got nothing that shit going on, bro? Like, that's because that shit ain't going on, nigga,
Starting point is 00:46:13 like, fuck out of here. I always look at the crazy street shit that happens in L.A. and shit, and I'm like, it does seem kind of weird
Starting point is 00:46:22 sometimes. It feels like sometimes I'm like surprised by the extent to which the cops are not doing shit about it. But then when you talk
Starting point is 00:46:28 about Sack, you make it sound like these motherfuckers are on it. Like, like, way too on top of the shit. Yeah, the police, they be on that shit on God.
Starting point is 00:46:36 Like, like, nigga, when bro died, nigga, they just start slapping GPS monitors own niggas. Like, that ain't even just get out of jail for, like, niggas that's out on parole probation. They're just slapping you on it because they know what's going on. Like, you feel me? Yeah, that shit was like. So they're trying to stop it before it happens
Starting point is 00:46:54 at a certain point. I ain't going to lie to the way it looked to me is dinner like a setup for real. Like, they don't even look like they're trying to stop it. Like, they were, like, I, All right, so, boom, when I went to jail with the first shit, right? The niggas, the niggas that dinner got washed from that shit, right? Boom. Nigger, they saying, they're talking about their little paperwork or whatever.
Starting point is 00:47:16 Nigger, they said they was fin to go do some shit, boo. And the police was there, like, waiting on them to do it and was going to let them do it, though. Wow. You feel me? Until the nigga hit the corner and seen all the police over, like, the undos and, uh-uh, and decided. not to do the shit, I guess, or whatever. But on God, they was going to let, like,
Starting point is 00:47:35 they let you do whatever. Like, that, nigga I'm talking about, I went to, all right, boom, I went out, go to jail. I'm talking to niggas, like, I'm trying to figure out what's going on. I'm like, bro, what they bring you in here for? They brought 20 motherfuckers in there, like, I never even knew until a nigga came in with some true story sweats on. You feel me?
Starting point is 00:47:52 I'm like, okay, yeah, I don't know. This shit looks weird. But I'm asking a nigga, he's like, bro, yeah, they just hit my house like two days ago. They found a gun. they took me to jail, they didn't charge me, they let me out, and then they came and booked me today. Like, they'll let you go on some whole weird-ass shit,
Starting point is 00:48:10 and then come get you for the investigation shit, you feel me? So, like, the niggins will be thinking they cool, like, just loading up all these diss songs for life, you feel me, and saying all this, uh-uh, uh, especially if you're saying about some shit that's really going on, like, nigga, we don't play like that, bro, because I know for sure, they come snatch your ass up. Yeah, that shit ain't no joke. It's crazy sometimes I'm watching you.
Starting point is 00:48:31 two videos about people who get caught up for murders and shit and then it's like, oh, he recorded this lyric, you know, a day after he did it where he said exactly what he was, he's accused of doing and it's like or even, bro, A.R. Ab, they just gave him 45 years. They found a note
Starting point is 00:48:47 in his phone of some lyrics he wrote that they said implicated them in so-and-so dying and all this shit. He didn't even hear about that. He didn't even rap it maybe. He just fucking had it in his phone notes and they had his shit, obviously. Yeah, I seen hell of that nigga interviews. That thing used to be saying all type of shit. I'm like, bro, why would you say all of that, bro?
Starting point is 00:49:04 Especially if you're really in there. Yeah, that's what I understand. Like, if you really like, like, really, I don't know. If you really rapping, then you can pretty much say whatever the fuck you want. If you're really doing it, then you probably should not say almost anything. Like, if you're going to leave from right here and you got to really go bust a, you got to sell a fucking kilo to fucking Gordon around the corner. Why are you going to say that on the song? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:27 The fuck. Like, that's this new generation shit, bro. like they fuck with that. I don't know if you get stripes from that. Like going to jail on purpose. That's what it looked like to me. Like you just going to jail on purpose. Like you kill somebody,
Starting point is 00:49:39 but you want to know everybody know you did it. Like you don't want to get, you feel me, retaliated on it. So you'd rather go to jail for that motherfucker for real. Like, I don't know, bro. Some niggas be doing all type of shit for real.
Starting point is 00:49:51 I feel you. So when Briss passed, like around that time, was it, did you have a feeling? Like, oh, shit is really bad right now. Shit is really crazy. Like, was the, the war aspect, was it going crazy before that?
Starting point is 00:50:03 Yeah, no, no. The war was already going on, boom. That's what I'm saying. It's really like a setup, bro. Like, I'm telling you, I know, like, I don't been with this nigga dinner every day in my life, bro. Boom. They put him on the GPS monitor, right?
Starting point is 00:50:20 Like, if he was in here right now, they hit this motherfucker. Well, if this was in sack, I don't know about L.A. I'm talking about, like, they was hitting everything to where, like, they telling you if you like I swear to go my son bro they be telling my nigger they just slapped him on GPS after bris died for nothing just slapped him on there boom they telling this nigga like bro tell your boys be careful bro don't get caught with no guns like it's all fun and game to them
Starting point is 00:50:45 you feel me but it's real life to us like bro it nigga I can't be moving around out here with no gun or like what the fuck I look like you feel me like niggins niggas want to really like do that And Brits knew that, though, you feel him? Like, he always been on point, always. Like, our whole life, nigga, been on point. Like, it took some shit for a nigga to get that, get like that. Feel me? Nigger didn't, like, been through some shit.
Starting point is 00:51:08 But a nigga was on point for sure. You feel, me? And boom, when they put him on that shit, they let him out, put him on that shit. They hit in this. Like, he had go to a telly, bro. One night, they hitting the telly in the morning. Like, they hitting every time. You feel me to where, you're like, all right, boom,
Starting point is 00:51:23 I ain't going to keep a pole in here. we just gonna have two poles in here you feel me in this car so that was the case when you feel me when the shit played out like that that's why it wasn't in that car it was two of them in this car and some shit
Starting point is 00:51:39 some of her shit bro but niggas don't even like a lot of motherfuckers be like bro why he ain't uh uh uh like where's the gun in the end you're in a bad spot when you got the cops studying everything that you're doing and you got beef with people every day though like every day bro like you feel me you just come home
Starting point is 00:51:56 the pen and that's how they plan it like and they know they know once they know like you lit like you really like I don't know this shit you got an influence on niggas like they know they know we be having an influence like we could say go do this and niggas go do that you feel me and they know that so they be trying to shut that shit down however they could rather you get killed you feel me or rather you they catch you with some shit and send you back to the pin they're gonna keep keep doing it niggin they'll get on god they be they tell my nigga this see all the time like bro we just gonna keep hitting you until we get bored Right.
Starting point is 00:52:27 Like, that's crazy. Like, why y'all playing like that, bro? Like, that's just weird. Like, in L.A., if you call the cops, like, they're not coming. Yeah. It sounds like it's sack. They got too many fucking cops, dude. Bro, no, they, for sure, that's what's so crazy, boom.
Starting point is 00:52:41 There's a lot of money up there. It's like they, it's like they really more focus on gang shit than anything. Like, like, need could call for police and they probably won't come, bro. I don't God. But if it's some gang shit, they're already there. You feel, me? they're quick as fuck like i don't know that shit crazy but like i think that's all they really care about around that motherfucker like for sure so how did you find out how did you get a call
Starting point is 00:53:06 all right boom was going to shoot the uh the adios video the audio song is out boom we was going to shoot that video you feel me was supposed to shoot it way earlier bro but niggas was playing so like we end up shooting it boom we're going to shoot that video and uh uh What that nigga said. Somebody said they wanted to go get something to eat or some shit. The nigga I'm with. He didn't want to go. You feel me?
Starting point is 00:53:35 Boom. So we stay at the house. Brits leave. No, before he leave, I'm asking him, like, what are you going to go get? Somebody say, Burger King, you feel me, or whatever. Whatever the fuck they said. And a car comes.
Starting point is 00:53:48 He in the middle of the street saying this shit, though. You feel me? A car coming. So, boom, he'd get out the way, and then he just pull off. Boom. But somebody else, Miran says two of them, you feel me, and yeah, I don't even want to just say too much, bro, but you feel me, he, a nigga, nigga,
Starting point is 00:54:03 he had a security guard, I guess, you feel me? Man, yeah, he went over there, did that, whatever, and that shit happened. Right around the corner from where we at, though, like, we right here, and this shit happened, like. Oh, shit, really? It was a little, some shit happened right here in the store before that shit happened, though.
Starting point is 00:54:21 You feel me? Like, boom, we right here, the store, shit happened right here and he died right here type shit you feel me boom so after that happened his babe mom with him she called she called she no she even called me she i think she called my cousin and my cousin called me and they way in Vegas you feel me so i'm just thinking like man ain't no way how the fuck would y'all even know y'all ain't even here like you feel me like like we don't i swear to go my son bro like niggie we don't had these type of calls for hell alone like like like my unlawful Auntie, my mom will be like,
Starting point is 00:54:56 y'all, okay, they're saying y'all just got shot. Like, shit like that. Been always happening. So when they said it, I didn't her brush it off like, yeah, right? Whatever, blah. But I'm like, man, this thing is just left from right here. Like, ain't no way, like, what the fuck? And then she's saying he already gone, though. Like, she ain't saying
Starting point is 00:55:12 like, he just got shot. Like, she's saying he gone. Niggie on God. Like, I'm like, there ain't no way. Boom. They call again crying and shit. I'm like, bro, let's go. I tell. What's the name? Man. We go up there to see, you feel, me what's going on, and it was already there, you feel me? So, yeah, that's how I found that shit out.
Starting point is 00:55:32 I mean, obviously, we could probably guess how you felt emotionally, but, you know, it's a lot more than just losing a homie. You're using one of your closest homies, and you're losing somebody that you were basically looking at as you and him were building your way out of the streets together. And then there never was homie, though. Like, this is my cousin, like my real blood, like, we're brothers for real, you feel me? Like, that's why I be saying, like, I be telling niggas like, bro, this shit, it shit hit me
Starting point is 00:55:58 different than how it hits all. Like, like, niggas be the homies and all that. Like, that's cool. But this shit hits you different. The homies that you hang out on the block with versus the homie that you are building your way up out of this shit that you really first started seeing money with. I mean, that's a special relationship. Yeah, that shit different.
Starting point is 00:56:15 Yeah, real, niggas got gold. We got, it's like, bro, like, before that shit happened, we was planning to come out here because it was already too hot out there. You feel me? Like, we're going to L.A. in a couple days, bro, boom. That was, like, the last video I was supposed to shoot,
Starting point is 00:56:28 like, a couple of little studio sessions and then we was going to get out of, you, feel me? But that shit ended up happening, man. Because that shit was, like, around the time where for maybe, you know, a month or two before that, you know, L.A., we find out about the popping sack shit, like, after, I think.
Starting point is 00:56:42 But, you know, people really were starting to tell me, like, oh, you got to listen to this Brist kid, you got to listen to him, yada, yada. And then all of a sudden, like, before I even really had fully tapped in, they just telling me, damn, they got them. And it was like, fuck. Like, we already thought that the sack shit was crazy, but then it's like, oh, damn.
Starting point is 00:56:59 I just put the extras on it. But the next popping artist out of there, like, I mean, that was just kind of mom-blown. Yeah, see, that's what really fuck this up, bro, is really like this shit being too authentic. Like, we don't know. We ain't got nobody that's, uh, that made it type shit that's saying like, bro, once y'all still getting 200,000, 300,000 views, bro, you got to get out of there. You feel? Like, niggas wasn't saying that.
Starting point is 00:57:21 Like, bro, we still run around this bitch. Like, like, niggas, bro, I'm telling you, people know, like, we don't took so many pictures in Sacramento. Like, bro, this shit crazy. Like, that's when we really was like, oh, yeah, we gotta get out of here. Like, it's hot. And they, like, they, like, they knowing us. Like, I'm telling motherfuckers they can't.
Starting point is 00:57:38 Like, bro, you can take a picture. Don't record the car. Like, shit like that going on. You feel me? So I'm like, oh, yeah, we didn't are too big for this motherfucker, especially him. I'm like, bitch, you got to go. Nick of this shit, this too much. You feel me?
Starting point is 00:57:50 So, like, that shit was crazy, bro. And God, I don't know. That shit. It was just weird. So what do you even do with yourself after that? Obviously, you got all this rage and anger and shit inside you. You're sad. You're fucked up in the head.
Starting point is 00:58:03 Like, where do you go from there? How do you even begin to process it? Bro, that was the hardest shit ever. Like, that shit still be hard to do because, like, I still be trying to keep that niggins shit going because at the end of the day, he got kids. You feel me? Like, we got the same family. You feel me?
Starting point is 00:58:20 So, like, I'm still, I'm still, like, coming around and seeing them. You feel me? I'm still seeing his moms. You feel me? Like, I'm still seeing them. So I'll just be on some, like, I'm going to make sure this nigga ain't even do all this shit for nothing. Like, because that's what niggas was trying to do is put it into what a nigga had going on. That's what make them even matter now.
Starting point is 00:58:41 Like, they didn't stop nothing. You feel me? Like, that nigger family, the kids good. You feel me? Like, nigger, they still hearing true story everywhere. story still running around this motherfucker like like this shit niggie we still doing more numbers then niggis you feel me like it's still going up bro like because like this shit was real on our end it wasn't no like no put together ass story bro like it's it was a real story a true story like
Starting point is 00:59:07 like god that's a real story behind our shit so it's it's really like i don't know it's hard it's hard to do but i know i got to do it though you feel me like to keep this shit lit like yeah it ain't stop nothing, nigga. You know what I'm God. Do you have the cops all over you trying to get them to tell you what you knew? They didn't try to holler at you? Hell no. I mean, like, I ain't going to say they didn't because motherfuckers was telling me they keep
Starting point is 00:59:30 asking me, asking about me, whatever about it. But I'll be all the way on point now. Like, that made me even get more on point. Like, like, I'll be, yeah. I'd be trying to be 10 steps ahead type shit. You know what I'm seeing? Trying to stay my ass out the way. Like, yeah, but they be, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:47 How was it just seeing the way that the community reacted to him passing? It was crazy. Like, the shit hurt, but it's like, it's tight, though. Like, like, damn, bro, like, you really did that. Like, he don't even, like, I don't know. Like, that shit hit different when you see the whole, like, city behind you like that. Like, you feel me? Like, even motherfuckers, I didn't even know you.
Starting point is 01:00:12 Like, to this day, I began DMs from motherfuckers. Like, bro, I just start listening to y'all, bro. live brish bro like like motherfuckers i don't know bro they saying that shit all day like like the niggie like really left a mark like on some like how how i mean i know it wasn't that big but how nipsy did with you feel me cringe shot it's just like that over there bro like you can't even go like they go through there they pull up the jj just to take pictures on some you feel me like britch used to be right here you feel me type shit i feel like it's it's really crazy because everybody is used to all the rappers and the NorCal rappers getting hundreds of thousands of millions of views off beef.
Starting point is 01:00:51 But then you had an artist who was coming out who really seemed like, oh, he could be bigger than that. I got the sauce. He could really be like a national artist blow up out of this scene that has for the last however many years been really consumed with beef. And then for that to get ended so early, it was, you know, it seems particularly sad. That's why I'm trying to tell niggas too, though, like, bro, the niggie, like, nigga never even made a diss song, though.
Starting point is 01:01:15 Like, till this day, it ain't no like. Like, boom, he got that one, like, when the weird old nigga dropped the disc song, boom. Bridge dropped that spark the fuse. You feel me? But that shit was made way before the nigga even dropped that disc song. You feel me? So it's never, nigga never dropped the response.
Starting point is 01:01:33 You feel me? Like, we always been inside to leave it in the streets. You feel me? Like, leave that shit in the streets. Like, we know niggas going to jail and all types of, niggas getting washed up for this shit. Like, y'all want to keep putting shit on the internet, bro. Like, this ain't for everybody to see,
Starting point is 01:01:46 Like, niggas don't need to know, like, oh, we funkling, oh, he ain't doing this or he doing that. Like, why are you doing the police job for him, bro? Like, we never was on that. And then on top of that, when we go into the studio, like, we don't even write. We don't even write, right? So, boom, when we go into the studio, we just find a beat. Boom, when we just start talking shit, like, how, like, what we got going on or how a nigga feeling or whatever. Like, we're not thinking about you, niggis?
Starting point is 01:02:10 You feel me? Like, niggie ain't never, like, bro, on God. Like, nigga ain't never responded to their shit at all in the whole. time they was talking about some, oh, this, this song and that this song, like, nigga ain't never even made one for y'all. Like, y'all was never even that important to, like, go to this pay for studio time and write a diss song for you, niggas. Like, a nigger never came to that point on God.
Starting point is 01:02:33 So was that, like, particularly upsetting when all of a sudden it became a thing to start putting his name in music after he passed? Nah, that just showed me how scared you niggas was, because why, why would you wait till a nigga died to start talking about him? y'all had all this time to be talking about niggins you feel me like niggas wasn't doing like we was bumping into niggas like i'm telling you bro this shit like this shit crazy bro and it kind of sack like but niggas be trying to paint pictures like like like we'd be seeing like we were seeing you niggis like and niggas was trying to be cool like you feel me so like that's why we never even paid no attention to y'all bro because like niggas was never even on that like we niggas didn't want no type of like oh fuck them niggas are it'd be be like some sneak dissing shit going on. You feel me? And then when he died, now everybody got dissing on like that.
Starting point is 01:03:23 Y'all's showing us how important we is, you feel me? Like, and I be seeing that, like, nigger to drop a regular song, no views. Niggottes drop a song dissing us all the views in the world. You feel me? Like, you're showing us how big we is and how much we mean to y'all. You feel me? Like, y'all niggas ain't
Starting point is 01:03:40 that important to us, bro. Like, niggas got shit going on around here. We never thinking about y'all, but y'all. constantly think about us though like do you feel like does that make you want to put the beef shit in the music more? Do you feel like you have something to prove at a certain point?
Starting point is 01:03:56 I know it's when I was listening to a new tape that it's not anything super overt but you definitely got to take a shot or two. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like especially with that shit like that was like, I'm going to just slide, I'm going to put one bar on here and I might say one right here. It was kind of clever. Yeah. I almost missed it. Yeah, I did. Yeah, my mama. How I'm saying
Starting point is 01:04:14 like, damn niggis not raw like that to even come like that. You feel like they got to say they're saying, they're saying a nigga government in the song if they got to. They'd say a nigga first and last name on some just cornball shit. Like, we're not doing that, bro.
Starting point is 01:04:27 I'm God, but hell no, I don't be feeling like I got nothing to prove because at the end of day, we'd be on some leave it in the streets, bro. Like, nigga, like, nigga, you got, you know how that shit go, bro, like this shit. The rap, the rap shit
Starting point is 01:04:39 is supposed to be separate from the street shit, bro. They constantly want to put it together, though, you feel me? Because it's helping they're, career. Feel you? Like, that shit
Starting point is 01:04:48 not helping what we got going on. We don't care about that shit, bro. Like, if I wanted to make a disc song,
Starting point is 01:04:53 I could make a, I can make some shit, bro. You feel me? Like, nigga, Nick could have been did that, but I,
Starting point is 01:04:59 nah, I ain't even, nigga, I'm not gonna keep helping you all niggas go up off of what we got going on. You feel me?
Starting point is 01:05:05 Like, how is this nigga, how is this nigga gone, but you still bringing them up every song you make?
Starting point is 01:05:12 Like, what the, you sound like you need us, nigga? You feel in me? Like, that shit crazy to me, bro. Like, niggas ain't retarded.
Starting point is 01:05:19 I could read between the lines, bro. Was there a time period where you couldn't really make music, where you were, like, too stressed and upset about the way that that shit went down? Because you had been making music with Brits for so long? Oh, yeah, for sure. Like, yeah, hell yeah. Like, especially right after that shit hit. But then, like, eh, it'd be, like, older motherfuckers around me type shit.
Starting point is 01:05:39 Like, bro, you got to keep that shit going, bro. Like, that's making them even. That's hurting them even more keeping it going. You feel me? Like if I stop, they're going to win. You feel me? If I stop, and on top of that, we better than niggas. You feel me?
Starting point is 01:05:54 Like, you can see the views. You see the numbers. You feel like, we're doing way better than niggas. So like, why would the niggie like, at the end of the day? I could finish where he started. He was doing this shit for his family, his kids. Nicky like, I'm, nigger now they're good now. You feel like me?
Starting point is 01:06:11 Like, if I would have dropped the ball, that shit would have been over with. You feel me? Like, nigga ain't no, like, he did all that for nothing. Like, they, you know, niggas be letting their niggas die and just, that'd be it. They make a T-shirt and it's over with it. You feel me? Like, we don't, that's not going on over here.
Starting point is 01:06:25 Like, we ain't just wasting time around this motherfucker. And you're like, yeah, uh-uh. In terms of just really getting fully back to making music and trying to push your career, was it even like, was it even like a hard decision where you, like, was there a period where you were like almost about to give up? Yeah, for sure. Not even though give up. like, like, bro, I don't even want to say that.
Starting point is 01:06:48 I don't even want to say it, but. Let's put it this way. There's a temptation to crash out. Right. And not give a fuck about your life and just do what you feel like doing. It's easy as fuck to do that. You feel me? It's easy as fuck to do that.
Starting point is 01:06:59 Like, bro, what? But, like, nigga, why would I crash out like that? Niggas, nigga, it's chess. You feel me? You got to play chess, not checkers. Like, nigga. And I don't even know how to play chess in real life. But I know how to play chess in this shit.
Starting point is 01:07:14 though. You feel me? Like, nigga, this shit ain't nothing to be because these niggas be retarded. Like, feel me? Like, I don't know. I don't want to say too much, bro, but yeah. For sure. Niggas know it's, yeah, yeah, yeah. Could you, you know, we were having this conversation before, do you think there could ever be a rapper from Sacramento that could do songs with both sides or be cool with both sides
Starting point is 01:07:35 or is it just is way too tense? Hell no, need gonna have to be a whole different race. Neal gonna have to be some type of Indian-ass. If the R&B singer. If the half came from Sackland, maybe he could rock. Yeah, something like that. I'm God. But if it's just rap shit, like,
Starting point is 01:07:50 yeah. Nah, that shit out, bro. Nek gonna have to, yeah, yeah. Is this too deep at this point? Yeah, like, motherfucker's dying, bro. Like, this ain't, there's no, oh, we made this song. And they made that song, like, if we do a song together, we're going to go up. Yeah, that shit all the way out the window.
Starting point is 01:08:08 Like, bro, hell no. And then on top of that, niggas, like, you know, they came in a dough before. You feel me? Niggas trying all they could to stop niggas getting through that motherfucker. You feel me? Like behind the scene, niggas be hearing that.
Starting point is 01:08:23 Niggas be hearing all type of shit behind the scene. I've been hearing shit behind the scene like way before the even, the bridge shit even happened. You feel me? Niggas was on some black ball and shit. You feel me? Like, and you could see that shit clear as day nowadays.
Starting point is 01:08:36 You feel me? Now you can see that shit. Like, how are these niggis doing this? And they ain't even tapping in, but they tapping in with this nigga doing 20,000. You feel me? Like, yeah, it's that type of shit going on.
Starting point is 01:08:48 I need you be hearing that little, yeah, yeah, but yeah. I feel you. So once you get back to the music, though, like, are you full, do you feel fully back at it, like, fully, like, focused on your career and, like, you're able to actually be, like, working towards this future that you've been working on building for yourself? I ain't going to lie, like, like, nigga always had a blueprint, like, to where, like, we know what to do type shit. Like, even we didn't have nobody to show us, bro,
Starting point is 01:09:15 but we knew what it took to, you feel me, get there type shit, like, especially when you got the talent, like, we got the talent on our side, you feel me? So, nigga know exactly what to do type shit, and niggas just got to focus on that shit and do it, bro. Like, can't get caught up in that shit, and that's
Starting point is 01:09:31 what niggas be trying to do, trick you off the streets. You feel me? Like, you can't let a nigga trick you off the streets, bro. This shit really really tests, like, yeah, yeah, uh-uh, uh-uh, I ain't doing I ain't falling for none of that shit, bro. Like, I know exactly what I gotta do, nigga. And we got the sauce on our side.
Starting point is 01:09:48 You could, you niggas could see that shit. Like, niggas trying to rap like how we coming. You feel me? Niggas trying to rap on MacJ, breast-type beats. You feel me? Like, this shit crazy, bro. Like, how you niggis trying to diss us on our shit? Like, wasn't you niggas rapping like this?
Starting point is 01:10:04 Like, go back to body for body, bro. Like, you know, guys catching 20-30 bodies. Like, go continue doing that, bro. Like, why are you coming over here if this shit weak? You feel me? If this ain't it, why is niggas, like, everybody fucking with it? Like, if this shit ain't that, but I don't make no sense, bro. Like, if we're not what we say, why they're sweating, bro.
Starting point is 01:10:25 You feel like? So you feel like you're bigger than you were before? I feel like the fans are actually, like, following you along, like, following their career, not giving up on you? Yeah, for sure, for sure. Now, especially right now, bro, and God, because, like, they on my ass. Every day, it's songs that I Don't forgot about, like, bro, where's a video
Starting point is 01:10:44 to this? You need a video for this, bro, drop this, er, like, they be on my ass about that shit, bro. Like, this for sure, like, I don't know, this shit crazy. This shit crazy how I played out. You know how it'd be, like, you see the DMX shit, you feel me? Like, you see everybody that died, bro, they shit
Starting point is 01:11:00 go up, like, go way up, though, you feel me? Like, man, where was all you need? Like, bro, when I seen everybody posting, like, niggas, like, say cheese. Nicky, like, Other little spots, you feel me, posting him, like, fallen rappers that just recently died. Like, how are you tagging this nigga, but you never heard it? Like, you ain't never posted this nigga music ever.
Starting point is 01:11:22 They probably would have made him pay to get a post before he died. Oh, my mama, yeah, yeah, yeah, you get a free post. Then you die, you get a free post. And then still ain't posted the nigga music, though. Just post the RIP. Like, that's weird, bro. Like, what type of shit is that, bro? Yeah, yeah, that shit.
Starting point is 01:11:38 That is crazy. I never understand. that shit, bro. But on God, yeah, they niggas know, like, once he died, the shit went extra up, because I don't know if it be just more ears. Like, oh, I wish y'all, like, I'll get them messages all the time. Like, bro, I wish y'all to listen
Starting point is 01:11:52 to him a long time ago. Bro, y'all shit raw. It's shit hard, bro. Keep going. Keep going. You feel me? They get those messages all the time, like, all day, every day. On God, like, more motherfuckers catching on, catching on, catching on. Like, we got the sauce for real, bro. I'm telling you, like, when they come to
Starting point is 01:12:08 the sack, yeah, we got the sauce. around that motherfucker man. The music is far enough for sure. Because my boy Trevor was putting me on, and I wasn't even thinking about any of the politics of everything. I was like, yeah, let's interview him. Because he's always playing your shit in the office and shit. And then I realized as I started to do my research,
Starting point is 01:12:25 I'm like, oh, okay, this is a little political. And we just interviewed lavish last week. So, you know, here's what it is. People got important stories to tell. It's like they be trying to make it political because to put a hold on you, though, Like, like, because really, really a nigga don't really got to do that, bro. You're just going to get forced into it.
Starting point is 01:12:45 Like, like, once a nigga died, bro, or once it's something, like, that's when it's like, ain't no second guessing. Like, you feel me? Like, all right, for sure, fuck you, nigga. Especially if niggas keep talking shit. Like, all, yeah, it's for sure. Fuck you, that's out. Nigg got, boom.
Starting point is 01:13:00 Right. Like, but when nigga, like, we got, we got, we really got talent on our side. You feel like, niggas really raw. Like, niggas was doing these views before. niggas was coming with diss songs. You feel like, niggas was, they was tapping in,
Starting point is 01:13:14 you feel in me? Like, Brits was having label offers when he was in the PIN, bro, like, like, for real, for real, like, the nigga calling home,
Starting point is 01:13:21 I'm telling him, like, bro, yeah, the listener, just tapped in, da-da-da-da-da. You feel, me? Like, so,
Starting point is 01:13:27 nigga, that was before a disc song was ever, like, no diss songs, nigga, like, they had nothing to do with the political side
Starting point is 01:13:34 or nothing. Like, it was just, like, they tight. You feel in me? Like, We need this shit, bro. Like, this is lit, bro.
Starting point is 01:13:42 You feel me? It was more of that than this shit. But they'd be trying to drag a nigga into that, like, to fuck off what you got going on, trying to trick niggas off the streets, you feel me? They had love for a nigga to get where we at right now and then go to the pen for life. Brits die, and then I go to the pen for life where I die type shit. You feel me?
Starting point is 01:14:01 Like, they'll love for it to go out like that. Like, we don't know our worth type shit over here. You feel me? Like, I don't know how it's going over there, bro, but we, you know, we know what we're doing on our end, you feel me? Like, we ain't, I ain't feeling like, I ain't feeling like, I ain't fined no nigga put me in no box like, oh, he could only make these, this songs that I ain't even making them. Because you don't really have that much of it, yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:25 Thank you, bro, that's what I'm saying. Like, but count how many they got, though. What? You have kind of like a very specific style of punchline that I don't hear a lot of other people do where you'll say some shit like I did this, this, this and this but I'm not a... Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:43 Like you'll, I don't think you actually said this, but you'll say like, I pull up with the hose, but I'm not a gardener. Right. Hold on. Let me write that dead. Do you remember the first time you did that or like where that came from in your brain?
Starting point is 01:14:59 I don't know. Like, bro, really like, like, if you go back to my shit, nigg, been doing it, but I was just saying it different. Like, I say, I say like, I don't know, I always do like the same way, but it'd be a different type of setup type shit. But I don't know, it just be, I don't know, bro. That shit just be coming to me like that, bro.
Starting point is 01:15:18 It's just, I don't know how it just, it just be coming out like that. But I for sure don't remember the first time, though. Like, it was, I don't know. That shit, them just got normal after a while. Like, because I'm telling you, we'll just go in there. We'll find it be, like, majority of the time. Like, I don't even want to get my formula out, how this shit be coming out. Bro, God, it should be just so natural.
Starting point is 01:15:39 Niggily, we're just going there. I find a beep boop. I didn't recall it. I put a video together before I even make the song. Like, you feel me? And then I go in there and I, like, if I said some tight shit, hard enough, if it go crazy enough, this is what we're going to shoot. Sometimes a camera nigga would be like, bro, I'm on my way.
Starting point is 01:15:58 Email me the song. I'm like, shit. Let me see what I'm going to do. Like, it'd be shit like that. You feel in me? Like, I don't know. Like, I don't know. It just comes to you.
Starting point is 01:16:06 No problem. Yeah, I swear to God, no problem. Like, it should just be, we just be vibing like that, bro. Like, I don't know. It's just, it might just be our personality. That's what I'm seeing. Like, we've been together our whole life, nigga, like, to where, like, niggas just been just joking.
Starting point is 01:16:21 Like, that shit like that is, it could just be a joke. You feel me? Like, pull up with the hose. What'd you say? Pull up with the hose. The hose behind him, not a gardener. Yeah, like, nigga, it says some shit like that. Playing, though, you feel me?
Starting point is 01:16:31 And then go to the stew, when we had the student, we had this dude, nigga, be laughing in there. Like, yeah, bitch. put that put that in there you feel me like it'd be shit like that bro and god this shit just be natural like definitely are you still aspiring to to leave NorCal or leave sack
Starting point is 01:16:46 or what's your thought process on that? Yeah like uh niggit want to leave but it's like this shit'd be hard to do bro I ain't gonna lie like when you when a nigga been there his whole life it should be hitting different bro and God that shit feel different like especially when a nigga been like
Starting point is 01:17:02 never had a job type shit so like you had to be outside to even make your chicken. You feel me? Like, when a nigga come from that, bro, to where you're pulling up to the stove and everybody else's like, bitch stay in the car, don't hop out, bro. You don't even want to be seen right now type shit.
Starting point is 01:17:22 Like, when you go from trying to be seen so you can do your thing. Exactly. You know that if you posted up outside the corner store for a few hours that you're a motherfucker target, and every photo you take is more and more likelihood that somebody's going to see you on there on somebody's Instagram.
Starting point is 01:17:36 For sure, for sure, for sure. Like, like, nigga, posts up, right, boom. It could be fans that want to just come take pictures. But even when they own that type of shit, we'd be on it, like, I'm on it, like, I got to, like, I don't know, like, be like, I got to read them before they even walk up. Like, yeah, they ain't on nothing. You feel me, boom. But, like, just from having to do that, like, nigga, if you got to do that, you shouldn't even be there.
Starting point is 01:17:59 You feel me? Like, I'll be trying to teach myself that, like, like, nigga, some of the homies be on that type of time, too. Don't even, what you doing? Niggott, hell no, we ain't fin to go over there? Like, for what? You feel in me? Like, it'd be shit like that.
Starting point is 01:18:14 But it's shit hard to do when you really come from, when you really like, yeah, that shit hard. Like I was interviewing somebody the other day was talking about how, you know, they're hanging out outside a liquor store
Starting point is 01:18:23 and somebody pulled up shooting and killed their homie and yada yada. And I was just thinking about I'm like, you know, when I was younger, I would do shit like that all the time. We'd go to the park, go to hang out by the store.
Starting point is 01:18:33 Until you really start getting shot at, bro, or really like real life police pulling up and niggas going to jail left and right that's what it be a lot of times too like a lot of times niggas don't even be going through that like they just be rapping you feel him like never never experienced
Starting point is 01:18:47 no shootouts nigga ain't never seen it nigga die in your face like nigga never been through that type of shit like so when like it's easy for them to just do that like you could some niggas are still hop out at the store and not worry about nothing because they know nobody gonna care like it ain't even like when it's real
Starting point is 01:19:05 you know not to play like that. When I was picturing myself hanging outside the liquor store when I was listening to this dude, tell the story, I'm thinking, why the fuck would I want to put myself in a position where every meth head in the area, every person who wants to get drunk, every retarded-ass prostitute, everybody wants to stick somebody up.
Starting point is 01:19:21 And I don't even got no designer on, no chain, no nothing. But still, why would I want to, I could be on the couch where there's literally a fucking gun sitting right there and a big-ass gate and nobody could get in. And I'm safe. You know, I'm chilling. Like once you really start thinking about life like that,
Starting point is 01:19:37 it's like, why would I put myself through the risk of hanging out in public? Yeah, because some niggas is like, like, this shit is so cold to where like, niggas circle got to be all the way on point. Like, if this, if you, if you want to be on some, like, bro, what you want? Shit, I'm posted at the liquor stuff.
Starting point is 01:19:53 I'm just posting. I'm just sitting on Instagram. A nigga going live and like, like, what the fuck is you? Like, bro, just pull up to the spot. I didn't do that. Right. Like, you feel me?
Starting point is 01:20:02 Like, if you're the nigga that I want to be out there right you just go that's where you're gonna be bro and god can't even let you in my circle because we not playing like that niggie like we didn't already been through years of this shit bro like before briggs died like before that nigger me and brits been in shootouts together like nigga like it's shit crazy bro and god like niggas really been through this shit so we know like not that you feel we know how to like yeah i don't know when you really go through that shit bro this shit you start you you learn you learn from that shit bro some niggas be lost in the sauce like thinking this shit of the game, this shit for Instagram, this shit for,
Starting point is 01:20:38 you know, I'm not gonna die for no followers, bro. Like, because then my followers gonna go out when I die and I ain't gonna see that shit anyway. The fuck I'm gonna do that for, nigga. I seen that happen way too many times. Oh, God, and I am not gonna be that. When I look at the views on No Jumper over the years, I can see where X, X, X, X, X, X, X died. I could see where King Vaughn died.
Starting point is 01:21:00 I could see where FBG Duck died. Because every time, every single time. And boom, boom, it just goes up. And it's sad as fuck to see, but it's also like, I just see it happen. Like, oh, that interview had a million views and then they got killed. And two months later, it got three million views. I'm like, what the fuck? That shit's crazy.
Starting point is 01:21:18 Like, what made it so special after he died? Now everybody want to share it? Like, you feel me? Like, you could have just watched that shit way before. It shouldn't take that. And you're like, I don't know. That shit crazy. It has to be that real for him to pay attention sometimes, which is kind of scary, you know?
Starting point is 01:21:32 It is scary because then when you got, when you got, When you got niggas that you know that ain't been through shit like that and you be like, bro, that nigga playing. Like, why are you doing that, bro? And niggas would be like, bro, it just take, nigga, you feel me? Nigel hard hit it.
Starting point is 01:21:46 It's going to take something for that nigga to learn that. Even though you just watch this nigga, you just watch it happen to this nigga. You feel me? Like, why you got a way for it to happen to you for you to learn? Like, and then a lot of time
Starting point is 01:21:57 niggas don't make it through them lessons. Like, like, like, nigga ain't got nobody to tell him like, stop sitting outside in the car, smoking in the front yard, especially when you gang banging and everybody know to this street. You feel me? Like, why is you doing that, bro?
Starting point is 01:22:10 Like, it takes for a nigga to pull up and start shooting into your car trying to kill you for you to realize, damn, you did tell me 20, 30 times to stop doing that. Like, nigga, a lot of times, niggas, it's over. Nicky, on God, you could be sitting there in a car smoking and it's over, like, nigga. And then you wishing, nigga, you're on your way to the spit of wishing, you would have listened. Like, you feel me? A lot of niggas don't be getting them.
Starting point is 01:22:33 second chances, nigga. I don't know that for a fact. You know, like, I ain't, you know, no, we're not playing like that on our side for sure. That's some real shit. Yeah. I got something else. I got a film coming up, so we're going to have to cut this a little short.
Starting point is 01:22:47 We just did a, that was an intense hour and a half, though, man. Y'all was an hour and a half? Yeah. Where the fuck I've been at? He was going off. God damn.
