Starting point is 00:00:00 My name is Peter Parker, but I'm also Spider-Man. This Thursday, we're faced with a threat. That can be anyone. The world may have forgotten Peter Parker. I'm just a neighbor, friendly neighbor. But he hasn't forgotten them. Sometimes Spider-Man has to do the hard thing. That's my responsibility.
Starting point is 00:00:20 Talk to Banner? I didn't know you could get that big. Spider-Man, brand-new day in theaters Thursday. Kind of our funny bunny. Coolness podcast in the United States. No Jumper Monday show. I'm here with the homies and we're waiting on another homie.
Starting point is 00:00:39 But to my left, I got a guy legend in these YouTube streets. You've seen it for all the groundbreaking work he's done. Shout out to my homeboy trap, Lord Rawls. Hey, let the glazing begin, man. To my far right, I got my guy. He's a legend in the battle rap scene, hip-hop scene, management scene.
Starting point is 00:01:00 He's a dope MC. Got some dope projects on the... way. He's one of the last rock stars alive and most importantly he's my dang home boy. Lush, Uno. Boom. Boo. This guy's scary. He sucks.
Starting point is 00:01:15 I got the illest dude in L.A. one of the illest podcasters. He is one of he's making the most noise. Drake knows who he is. New York Times knows who he is. The streets is buzzing over my cousin. Shout out my God, Moose, man. Let's go, man. We groundbreak
Starting point is 00:01:32 And it ain't because we, you know, tipping the scales either. You feel me? We're outside. They're just walking down the street and the ground just shatters me. Literally the largest podcaster in Los Angeles. You know me, just little old dope boy. I'm just here for the vibes and the good times. They call me young Rickner scale.
Starting point is 00:01:47 We have a special guest on the way. If you guys are familiar with the show, Kill Tony. Roast me. He's a legend at both of them. So shout out my guy, David Lucas. He will be in the building in about 15 minutes. And we're going to chop some game with him. You're doing shit for being late.
Starting point is 00:02:04 Yeah, but no, he's a guest. The guest can be late, but if you're a regular. That's not fair. Hey, I've been going hard. I was early. I was early. That's what I'm trying to. Let's ask trap.
Starting point is 00:02:12 Trap. I've been going super hard, haul monitor, Debo on cats when they come late. Am I right for that or am I wrong? You know what it is? I feel like Adam, he's trying to, you know,
Starting point is 00:02:20 tow the line, get everyone to come here early. I know people often late. But at the same time, sometimes, you know, when you got a name, fool's going to have to wait. Yeah, it's like this.
Starting point is 00:02:29 It's like this, okay? Michael Jordan was like, hey, BJ Armstrong, he's showing up late, get your ass on time. You feel me? But this is like, like Danny Aange. Danny Aange is trying to be like,
Starting point is 00:02:47 hey, yo, Scotty Pippen, you're late. Like, you're going to check your ass up, Danny Aange. I feel like around here, it's like, depending on how many, either like how much clout or bodies you got, that determines how late you can be. Because there's certain fools that be late, and Adam kind of like,
Starting point is 00:03:00 don't say nothing. That's why I respect Dope. Please he's keeping that same energy. You know, Lush will get his head ripped off and then Brick baby comes in with the blick on him and so Adam doesn't say a word. Yeah, exactly. If you got belts, then ain't nobody you feel of you.
Starting point is 00:03:15 Hey, I'm pretty sure Jay Hood turns up whenever he wants, right? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, known belts. Right, he just turned out where he was called it. We saw that fight video though. I'm not calling him out, right? Just look tomorrow's good. Like, every schedule.
Starting point is 00:03:26 I'm not going to beat a dude. No, shout to him, man. Shout all the new. Talent, man. There's been a lot of good new people up in here, man. I've been loving it. You know, doughboy, moose, like, obviously, lush, the veteran taking these guys under his wing.
Starting point is 00:03:36 I've been loving watching it. I ain't been on here in a while, but I've been watching a lot. I've been enjoying everybody's lit. Welcome back to the platform, man. We're happy to have you here. Can we talk about the elephant who once again ain't the room? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:49 Adam, what is going on? Do you feel like he is just purposely playing hooky on the boys, man? What's up? I don't know. What was the reasoning today? Now he's out of town and his life of letters. And I get it. You got to do the family stuff.
Starting point is 00:04:01 and I know he knows we're competent enough, but it's less like, that would be cool if this is the first time, but he keeps missing. He's a habitual missor. Yeah, he's on vacation discredding and two-pawks. And you know how important it is, Chap, when you're doing a new show, like he's the biggest face on the platform and he's not showing up.
Starting point is 00:04:18 Yeah, but... It might be a bigger face. Yeah, we're talking about width or diameter, like... What metric are we using here? This is an opportunity, though, you know what I mean? It's like, Adam not here, okay? Like, the difficult... He's turned up a little bit, but this is a time so, you know, have some motion, like, do something different, get people excited again.
Starting point is 00:04:37 So, you know what I'm saying? I'm glad that I could be here while Adam's not here. And let's get this thing moving, man. We're going to take full advantage of this, man. Yeah, we're going to take advantage of a Luschen trap lord today. Oh, yeah. And David Lucas. Yeah, when he gets here.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Here's the thing, though, like, you keep saying we've had this dialogue multiple times that Adam is neglecting the Monday show. And I can understand that to a degree. but like I also feel like it's he got so much trust in y'all and believe in y'all and he wants y'all to like hold it down and continue to really cut your teeth in this you feel right and I hear
Starting point is 00:05:12 doing your duggie on these hose until he returns and then y'all could really start cooking yeah okay I'll take that he does he must trust this because you know what I'm saying no he must like he clearly must trust y'all it's not like he's oh I'm gonna let me just see there's Garz Farrell
Starting point is 00:05:27 you know what I'm saying like although like I would say maybe he would do that for one episode. You know what I mean? Like just to be like, oh. Yeah, just to show us what we can't do without him type of thing. Yeah, this is what it's like without Big 20, you know what I'm saying? Like 22.
Starting point is 00:05:39 He ain't going like cat off on two months straight. Right. But let me get my Doe Boy on. Doe boy has been holding it down with legendary as guests a week after week. You know what I'm saying? He's been calling in favors. He's been, you know what I'm saying? Setting it up.
Starting point is 00:05:53 Making these dudes are super busy at least take an hour or two out of their time. You know what I'm saying to come and sit down with us. You know what I'm saying? So I definitely got to give credit to Doe. boy on that you've been holding my boy so that glazing worked in the end man it came in handy you know what I'm a little glazing you got a lot of friends you got a lot of famous friends let him glaze man so so trap like being someone that has been you know operating a successful YouTube channel now channels at this point for you know many moons was like what were your thoughts on knowing the history you know
Starting point is 00:06:23 jumper and like seeing the constant change in hosts and like and knowing Adam good and seeing like his real concerted genuine effort to have a stable cast of characters and then see the circumstances of light kind of get in the way of that being a thing like what were your thoughts were at what point were you worried for the fate of no jumper were you purposely staying away because you didn't want to be implicated in all these you filming murders or what like like what what are your thoughts man that's a really good question i feel like as a no jumper fan you know low key i've been on here a few times. I always tapped him with what's going on. I feel like every time Adam loses a popular host, everyone counts them out. No jumpers over. Oh, it's over. This is bad. Like, it's over with.
Starting point is 00:07:07 But it's like the reality is Adam knows how to play the game. He's good at finding talent. He's found and picked like, you know, cool chess pieces, put them on the board, seeing what they can do. I feel like every time it's like, oh, AD&T roll left. Oh, it's never, no jumpers over with. And then slowly he rebuilds. Brick baby. Cool. He's got people like, I mean, you know, loose can't him for a little bit. Obviously, Anne Hefe, you know, free ant. I actually saw Ant this morning in court, but basically like, I feel like every time they count him out, he always find some
Starting point is 00:07:35 interesting people. Now, we've got Jay Hood, Joe Boy's doing great. Moose is up in here, doing the talent show was fire. So I just feel like this, it goes through cycles, man, and unfortunately, when you're doing the street content, street stuff goes on, people get put on the bench. They go in three situations, you know, legal, obviously free brick, free aunt, you know, free suspect. Free suspect, of course. So I feel like, yeah, they always count him out, but he comes back with a good cast. And if anything, that's what the fans love.
Starting point is 00:08:00 They love the up and down of No Jumper. No Jumper got them fickle fans that they love to say it's over with. And then a few months later, they love in Doboy. They love in Jay Hood. They got someone new to love it. And then when they go away, it's going to be the same thing again. Hopefully that don't happen with somebody's hosts. But that's all that is going on, man.
Starting point is 00:08:13 It's a cyclical. Well, yes, I guess, like, I feel like no jumpers found a decent way to somewhat capitalize off of the hate watchers to a degree, which is like. fully impossible to contain in this entirety because you're going to have a bunch of reaction channels that get a lot of traction just based off of the size of the community and things like that. So it's impossible to fully circumvent. But I feel like, you know, we at least use it to our advantage in some capacities. And the fans, like a lot of them like act like they're haters, but they're like your hating cousin.
Starting point is 00:08:49 They'll shoot on you and talk about everything about you, your whole outfit. At the end of the day, they still love you and they're showing up to the parties every time to rock out with you. So it's like it's kind of that vibe, I feel like. If Adam closed the doors and said, fuck this, I'm tired of the hate. We shut and no jumper. No more shows. The community would be devastated. Some fools will be out of an income.
Starting point is 00:09:08 They have nothing. They wouldn't know what to do. Like, I don't know. Slimy. Y'all be in trouble. So I'll be in trouble. Maybe you would know, gang, we're running the street. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:19 100% many, like, you would see a difference in the, spike in the crime rate would go up if no jumpers they got vacancies on fig right now so you know what I'm saying if you guys need it you guys need another gig what size pumps I think I'm like 12 minutes like yeah
Starting point is 00:09:35 hey you touched on this briefly I want you see if you maybe expound on it a little bit more you said that you seen Anne Hefe today what updates can you give us to bro yeah I saw Aunt Hefe in court today man I think he looked a bit surprised to see me there but I popped up for his hearing it seemed like I would say
Starting point is 00:09:52 it's maybe heading in a positive direction. So they basically said that there's some new evidence. It sounds like some digital evidence, video, photo, I'm not 100% sure. I didn't say what it was. But they said that he's requesting to have a laptop brought to him, I guess in his cell or where he's being held at so that he can actually review some of that footage with his lawyer.
Starting point is 00:10:10 He was there with his lawyer, he was there with his co-defendant, him and his Cody. They had their own separate lawyers, but they were appearing together. It didn't seem like there was animosity between them, but it was like they each had their own lawyer over their shoulder are dealing with the situation. So I don't know exactly what that means. But the other aspect that was interesting is they set another hearing for August the 6th. And they actually said that
Starting point is 00:10:30 that hearing, they're going to cover a couple of things, including following up with the application for bail. They're trying to get the bail, I believe, for Ant lowered. And the judge said, I'll hear your argument for lowering the bail, but be warned, because this is such a serious charge of murder, I could actually make the decision to say, actually, no bail at all. So he got an opportunity on August 6th to make his argument for bail. He's going to be able to review that evidence. Hopefully that works in his favor. That's good news. That was the latest update. But, you know, he seemed in good spirits. He didn't seem down or anything. He seemed like very serious, taking it very serious, really locked in, paying attention to what was going on.
Starting point is 00:11:06 So, man, hopefully we get some some good results for Ant coming soon, man. Yeah, hopefully. I mean, like the fact that there's a prospect for bail and a very good chance. And I mean, per my understanding, I don't know, like most people are going to have. their own lawyer, especially on like a case of this severity, regardless, sometimes it's even it could be at times even like considered a conflict. Exactly. They're both being represented. The deals are conflicting and then you're, you know, bring the terms that compromise your
Starting point is 00:11:36 other client, all that type of stuff. And that's not, yeah, you can't give somebody preferential treatment over the other, like, just on some basic ethics of, you know, I'm not going to say, I don't know what the proper, you know. I think that really is. It's like the ethics of, yeah, being an attorney, you know, whatever. What's called jurisprudence, whatever, right? Like, yeah, so. Whatever.
Starting point is 00:11:56 In Latin words. Yeah, whatever. I'm probably using it out of context. But regardless, I'm just saying, like, I don't think that necessarily, that doesn't, in case anybody's going to, like, cling to that. That doesn't indicate that there's a conflict, as you did say. Yeah, you know, a lot of people have said different things. But, you know, I'll be waiting for an update, you know, hopefully all 10 more dates.
Starting point is 00:12:16 I've been going to the courthouse a lot recently. there, but at the David trial on my second channel, I know Brick Baby's got a hearing coming up. I was going to attend his hearing last month, got delayed. I believe at the end of this month, he's having a hearing. Obviously, he's got this situation with this plea and it's maybe not worked out the way that he wanted it to. He's trying to kind of make a maneuver with that. So I'm hoping to keep the no jumper community updated on any, anybody, any hosts that get put on the bench. I'm a follow up and find out what's going on in the court. I see. That's amazing. That's amazing. That's incredible. Has that given you like a different perspective
Starting point is 00:12:46 about like the legal system like being like face to face and seeing how it goes down for sure man if anything it's like i mean when i first went to the david trial that was the first american trial i'd been to and it was just surreal to me all this stuff i've heard about david and his crimes and the crazy shit just seeing him get brought into the court in his shackles it was just this crazy moment it felt like everyone in the courtroom for his first court date was like whoa that's really him yeah he really here in jackals facing these charges he was out for months oh that's jessey domer this generation yeah it's the most heinous crime a celebrity in hollywood's committed life like history
Starting point is 00:13:18 are to be worse than OJ as far as like the victim being so innocent but um that's worse right yeah I would say worse a minor it's worse um but like it's definitely made me really respect the American justice system because when I was getting into it I was like oh can I actually get into the trial like is it going to be easy they're going to let me in I'm not from here I wasn't born
Starting point is 00:13:35 here but as I've learned more about it it's like it's your right as what a citizen but also as somebody in America to follow the transparent open system of justice they can't hide that shit in secret they can't say we're having an Aunt Hefe hearing and no one can come in here. They said no red coats allowed. Right? It's like,
Starting point is 00:13:51 show us your papers. If you're right, if you're right, so just go and find out what's going on with justice, they can't sweep it under the rug. And if anything, I have like so much respect for the American system. Not all countries are like that.
Starting point is 00:14:00 You know, there's a lot of closed door things that go on in England. Some trials don't take place without even a jury. That's what I was going to say. What's the primary? Yeah. What's the primary difference in your observation between the American and British justice system? I mean,
Starting point is 00:14:12 the English justice system is way more formal. So like, I'll give some context. When I was, was like 17, 18, I wanted to be a lawyer. And I started going to criminal cases in the UK because you can observe in certain levels of court. And I used to go, I've been to like observe in like murder cases,
Starting point is 00:14:27 our word cases, like some real fucked up gruesome stuff. But there's a lot of stuff depending on the severity of the crime. Some crimes you might not get a jury. And it will be decided by a magistrate, which is like three judge, sort of like judges, but they're not judge level. Like three very legally educated people from the community. And it's like you'll hear your case and threaten these three magistrates.
Starting point is 00:14:45 And they're just going to decide. decide. They're just going to decide like, guilty. To the like the judge, jury and next guy. Literally, right? And then it's like in the UK, you know, you're getting people locked up for tweets and all type of shit. So it's like, I really respect the American justice system. You have the right to a fair trial for it to be public, a speedy trial, a jury of 12 of your peers.
Starting point is 00:15:02 I'm like, this is a, this type of shit is why America's great. If it's carried out that way, which sometimes it isn't, you know what I'm saying, but yeah, for sure, compared to other countries. Yeah, yeah. No, I really respect it, man. And it's been, I don't know, it's been humbling to see them situations. Also, you know, I've seen other people waiting for certain cases. I see other people getting their hearings and shit. And it kind of makes you realize
Starting point is 00:15:19 like, damn, that shit. I'm going to abide by the law. I don't want to be in the orange jumpsuit talking with my lawyer trying to find out how I'm going to get bail. You know, he has some other people. Yeah. Yeah, man. Yeah, free up, free up all the no jumper host, man. Free the guys. So basically, like, yeah, free the guys 1,000 percent. But it's a, oh, far more, like, stricter, like, everything seems more severe, would you say, like dealing with the English court? Yeah, I mean, it's super formal as well. A lot of it's based on royalty.
Starting point is 00:15:50 So it's like, you know, all of the top lawyers, they're called like, they used to be called Queens Council, but then she died. So now it's the King's Council. It's like they're retained by the King. It's like they wear wigs. I was going to say they've got to have them johns on. Yeah, literally got to wear the wigs.
Starting point is 00:16:04 Like, I worked. I like interned for a really high level lawyer in the UK for a period when I was 18 when I wanted to go into law. And it was so serious. Like, if I did anything wrong, I was admonished. there was a whole thing she would like wield around a case with her wig in it it was like where's the wig one time like I went to the wrong room I went missing with the wig it was a disaster so it's mad formal it's mad like old school Victorian and the way I feel like people talk more informal it's way easy to understand what's going on in the american courts whereas in the UK, they'd be talking some of that old-timey English.
Starting point is 00:16:34 It's like some Shakespeare shit. So it's normal. Also as well, I guess in some courts here, they do the thing where it's like all rise, but in the LA court you ain't got to rise for the judge. You ain't got to stand up. But in the UK, they don't say it though, right? Nah. They're just like, you know, you're in the presence of the judge.
Starting point is 00:16:46 She kind of takes command of the courtroom, but like you don't have to rise. Whereas in the UK, it's mad for it. If you don't stand at the right time, you're in trouble, they might throw you out. Yeah. You better, you better be with them. Get your ass, honey. Nathan, these ones is the old one. I added Josh to a new one
Starting point is 00:17:02 It should be 713 I ain't gonna lie dude Like The the prospect Like as much as people complain Myself included About the American justice system Which has so many
Starting point is 00:17:15 Fucking inherent flaws From it's like the very nature of its design The thought of being locked up In a foreign country is so much scarier Oh yeah Right oh yeah There's been so many British rappers Getting locked up in Dubai
Starting point is 00:17:27 Because like Dubai is basically Like the gulag for all the Well, yeah, you can't even smoke weed, first of all. You can't smoke weed. They be doing, but a lot of like the ex criminals from Dubai, Canada, they'd be going out to do, but, sorry, from UK Canada, they'd be like doing a crime going on the run in Dubai, but then they're getting in trouble out there. And then they quickly find out like, oh shit, I got no hope. Like, yeah, there's a couple of famous chain snatchings that have gone on recently. And like, UK rap has been locked up in Dubai.
Starting point is 00:17:51 And it's like, bro, they've gone. You don't hear from them. Like, they ain't get no hearing. They ain't no public, like, bro, you've gone. We'll find out in four years will happen. But the thing is, per my understanding. And I've never been to Dubai, but like a lot of my homies that have been there and people I know, they're like, they're saying like, if you like accidentally leave your wallet or your Rolex or your phone or whatever the fuck it is, like in public in like the busiest street on like a cafe bench or whatever, that shit's going to be there. Like three hours later, ain't nobody going to touch it.
Starting point is 00:18:22 If it is taking it's like by the loss and found and you're going to get that shit back. Like there's there's no crime. There's no thieving. like clean of her. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So like if there is something like that, if you do like a chain snatching, like hell yeah,
Starting point is 00:18:34 like they're going to chuck out of the cock off. I don't know if you know like Presser's brother Bundog, he is super rich guy from Canada that's just, he's a rapper. He does all type of business. But he did a video on Instagram where he left two million in cash on the street in Dubai all day and came back. It was still there.
Starting point is 00:18:48 That's what I'm saying. Wow. That's insane. Yeah. Crazy. It'd be like that, supposedly. But then the ops be running into each other in these nightclubs and Dubai
Starting point is 00:18:55 snatching each other's chains and then they end up in the gulag for four years. So it can go left. You've got to be on your best behavior out there. But yeah, man. The U.S. justice system, I feel like people take it for granted. I feel like there's a lot of problems in the U.S. politically. But when you start looking at these other countries, you know, royal families, dictatorships, like you're thinking, that freedom's actually pretty good.
Starting point is 00:19:14 Dude, yeah, like there's so many. And again, that's another example of a more favorable outcome that you could get. You could be locked up in some of these, like, random ass. Oh. They're like a South American person. Yeah, exactly. We found cocaine on. We found a like Sika, that one.
Starting point is 00:19:30 What was that, that streamer that just had got caught. And then was it, what was it? Oh, Johnny Somali. Yeah, that's the Philadelphia. There was another one. Vitale. He was in Thailand. And he had to the Philippines, Somali.
Starting point is 00:19:39 They showed the conditions. He lost mad weight. Like, he was looking hurt. Yeah. Yeah, he was begging in that courtroom. Oh, yeah. He looked crazy. That's it'll change you, man.
Starting point is 00:19:48 Because it's like, I feel like the U.S. prisons are worse than the UK ones. In the UK, you go got PlayStation. People will be recording music videos in there. Like, it's a chill. But you go to that, you go to that Filipino. prison you coming out change man you want you you on a whole different program yeah because like not feeding you none of yeah the standard for humanity is significantly less and then like a lot of them like certain because i've done a lot of research on the penal systems pause yeah i bet you have for yeah
Starting point is 00:20:15 extensive uh in foreign countries and yo some of them Asian countries the way that they like you get everyone militarized and you have like just like a certain motion you're doing for 12 hours straight. Yeah, that's how that seat card is, and they got them all folded up with they head down and shit. I'm like, oh, it's all bad. And they all tatted out. Hey, but don't get it twisted, though.
Starting point is 00:20:38 Anyone that followed that Fulio murder trial, them guys that got life, I don't know if you saw the footage that was going around, but basically, like, they were trying to decide whether we should give Fulio's killers life in prison or the death penalty. And they had a guy from the prison come and testify, and they was low-key saying that he was like a slave owner type guy.
Starting point is 00:20:54 I remember this. You see this? And he was just like, yeah, I need them boys to work. We can have hard labor. I need to get that sweat equity out of them for life. And everyone was in the comments. Like, whoa, slavery really still a thing.
Starting point is 00:21:08 Like, they said them boys would do well on the, on the labor camp. So like, that's like, it can go left. If you're running people down with the chopper, it's like, hey, man, if that guy gets you, and that's on you. That's like, oh, witness that they approve because they don't want to get executed. Yeah. Like, oh, these are like the positive reasons. Why?
Starting point is 00:21:29 The fact that that's being used as like a defense argument. And it's like, think about how dark that is. All them Tesla can't. That's the fucking. Yeah, they're like, just don't kill me, bro, I guess. They didn't know how bad it could get, like, to the point where it's like, I'm begging to do a lifetime of hard labor. Like, bro, they went out fat.
Starting point is 00:21:47 Damn. Like, that's a better thing. You're taking, dough boy? You getting lethal injection or just hard labor a rest of your life? At least you'll be, like, swollen there probably. You got to take that L.I. I'm taking the hard labor just because you never know. Something might change.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Exactly. Laws change. You might find yourself in there. Get a new DA. Yeah. I think the lowest amount of time they could execute somebody, definitely in California at least, it's 20 years. Yeah, it's like 20 or 25. So why not just like be like, kill my ass.
Starting point is 00:22:16 So then at least is expedited. But maybe in the meantime, they go and change the laws and don't know what's free. Exactly. Then I get out. Or less than you just don't want to do labor. You're like, doesn't. in the laborer. But there's people that be people in prison that like find themselves and like find a
Starting point is 00:22:31 Yeah, I'm going to find myself a death row. And they turn trans. I'm going to find out they were born a woman. I'm a single death row cell Jackson off, honey. And the yellow. Yeah. I'm a minion. Jackson has a minion.
Starting point is 00:22:46 Let's go. I'm just saying, you know, it could be a worst fate, potentially. I've seen a trap. You was fooling with that. I saw you guys talk about a little bit. on the news, but, you know, saying future, the real me, man. I'm fooling with it. That's fire.
Starting point is 00:23:00 It was real. It was real. I didn't go through it like with a fine tube cone, but like nothing really grabbed me on the first this thing. It's going to grab you. It's going to grab you by the hips and make you shake them. You go focus on my soul. You need to hit like a little pre-workout or something that Kenichiwa.
Starting point is 00:23:17 Then beats you crazy. Bro, yeah, yeah. I'm not going to lie. I got 14 out of 22 songs being pretty fire. I'm not going to lie. That was my count. So here's the question, yeah. As somebody that liked the album,
Starting point is 00:23:28 what did you think of them experimental ones at the end? Because he had that, what is it, the Alice, Alice. Yeah, I loved Alice. I fucked with it. It transported me back to 2014 when I first did Molly, and I was just like, you know what I'm saying, at some fucking dead ass party, but I'm just rolling, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:23:41 People trying to say it's transporting me back to a time. It's like, we're always like, oh, we're tired of the same old thing. Then he tries something new. And it's like, oh, he's corny as fuck. It's like, it's great. But, but like, objectively, from like a mainstream perspective, he's like severely falling off. And he's like,
Starting point is 00:23:55 and the numbers are getting worse and worse. There's not going to be like singles that are really resonating on a mass level, right? I think it is. I think radio's already going to be resonating with a bunch of people, and there's a couple of others, even California girls, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:24:08 Build a bitch. I'm loving Build a bitch. I'm loving Build a bitch. Everyone talked about Build a bitch so good. I loved it, bro. I loved it. I'm not going to have, you guys are making me really want to listen to it again.
Starting point is 00:24:20 I had a list of it loud. I'll run it back. The first listen I was like, mid. And then like two, I was like, oh, it's kind of good. But I heard on the way here, I was like, this shit's actually what I have been doing because I haven't had a chance to be on the right concoction to enjoy it properly and give like a, because that's like my homeostasis for future.
Starting point is 00:24:39 Yeah. I got to be like on Molly. Yeah. But which isn't hard for you. Like go get some and listen to it. Yeah. Yeah. That was like my task for you before this pod.
Starting point is 00:24:48 No, no. It hasn't occurred to the degree that I wanted it to yet. You know what I'm saying? But, but I will say this. I have been paying good. attention to the numbers. Yeah. And him doing 19 million first day when Drake did 129.
Starting point is 00:25:03 So if Drake did 129 and he did 19, that means... That's not great. But I don't put future like everybody else does as like a big three guy or a big five or any of that. He's like a tear under, you know, the Drake's and the Kendricks and the Coles and all them. But he's just... Am I being unfair as fuck to Pluto right now?
Starting point is 00:25:21 Because like... No, no. I think you're being fair because people built him up. As the like Atlanta go, he's birthed all these rappers. He should be putting up big dog numbers just like the other people we mentioned. It was like 220 on that 2023 album. Then it's been like 120, 140 with the metro shit. So he's hovering around that 130, 150 range.
Starting point is 00:25:42 That's probably what this will end up. You know what I'm saying? I feel like the problem with this is it's like people are anticipating bad numbers. And the rollout sucked. I'll be honest. The rollout sucked. But it's like I feel like people are anticipating bad numbers. And they're trying to almost like pre-order their opinions to hate the
Starting point is 00:25:55 album because they know the numbers are going to be bad. Fuck the numbers. It's fire. Who cares about it? Numbers probably going to suck. But it's a good, I'd say it's a good album. It's exactly what you expect from future. And like, people need to give it another chance.
Starting point is 00:26:04 I feel like everyone's kind of caught up in this like everyone else saying it's mid, so I need to be in line with what everyone else is saying. It's like right. And I think that to me, he is definitely a prisoner of expectations when it comes to somebody like what I think of with Pluto because there's a period of time like 2012 to 2016 where he was pretty much like infallible in my eyes. Yeah, just yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:33 Untouchable. Yeah, like, and he's still like done really well in like his like assent into unclehood ever since then. The hottest rapper in the world still kind of needs him, you know, to yeah, like through and stamp him. He's still joining up. He's still wearing that well. But like, like, when I think of future,
Starting point is 00:26:51 he needs to really embody that name. You got to be cutting edge. You got to be what's next. Is there anything on this album where it's like, all right, this is going to be the next, like, sonic trend? This is, like, the next cool sound coming out of the matter. But it was that one where he's doing the weird kind of croaky voice. Like, it's like people like, oh, there's nothing interesting. But it's like he got that Alice in Wonderland song, the California girl song.
Starting point is 00:27:12 It's like he got all different types of sounds. And I feel like everyone, this like this type of shit, everyone's loving Phoenix flexing for now. That's what I would say, bro, that Hollywood song? Yeah. Oh my God. I'm like, Phoenix don't got nothing on this. But the thing is, like, people don't, people forget Pluto's a dude that wrote drunken love for Beyonce. Like, he's an amazing song.
Starting point is 00:27:30 I didn't even know that. Yeah. Like, he's an amazing songwriter way outside the context of just rap music. You know what I mean? Like, he knows that. That's why he was in those, was that sprint commercial with Cher or whatever. You're like, what? Harmonizing and shit after she hits the high note.
Starting point is 00:27:47 What? Like Pluto is on such an insane level. And there is no thug or oozy. I was David. Oh, look, who stepped in the motherfucking house. Trappler Ross is my guy, David Lucas is a moose man. It was good with you, man. Shut up there.
Starting point is 00:28:03 Got some headphones if you need them, but if not. We don't wear those. Yeah, I'm like I say, I can hear y'all, Nick. He runs a show, so he got to wear him for show. How you feeling today, though? Lucas, man, has everything. Oh, life is amazing. Long time, no C, man.
Starting point is 00:28:18 Niggas be busy. You know, great way to start it. way to start it. He came in wearing an official Ralph Lauren hoodie. Let me say you what happened last week. Hey, tell them what the fuck you had on the other day. Polo Association? I had, yeah, I did. As a fellow big nigga, where do
Starting point is 00:28:34 big niggins go to get their swag? If you ain't got money? Burlington. Exactly. The fuck did I tell you. They got a real polo at Burlington. I didn't find it. They got five X polos in there. Online too, nigga. Online? I'm seeing more people
Starting point is 00:28:50 pop out with the association now, though. I'm seeing Like maybe I need to come in L.A. And Mexicans be wearing it sometimes. We're not going to let them get on. Mexico get a pass. No, but bro, like, before I had bread, I used to just wear, Megan, you could always just, before I had bread, I used to wear a hell of t-shirts and champion, which is like $38.
Starting point is 00:29:08 Right. Yeah. Champion was so. Wait, so I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was Wiling for wearing a association. Out of pocket. Because the rest of the things. They rose to me for 30 minutes on that shit.
Starting point is 00:29:19 He was fresh. You had a fresh white jeans on fresh, you know what I'm saying? Air Force one. And then he throws on the polo association. Yeah, you tripped. What the fuck are you doing it? It just caught me, like, off guard because, like, I was kicking with them all day, didn't really look at it too closely, and then I realized, oh, shit, the homies got a stork on it.
Starting point is 00:29:40 Why you didn't wear it today? I was, oh, hell no. The jokey has a little Yoda on his back for some reason. This is a hoodie. This is a regular hoodie. Oh, that's the gas station sweatshaw. Yeah, yeah, it's just the, you know. Yeah, you can always tell you get 20 on.
Starting point is 00:29:52 20 on 8 and that It's always hella puffy I ain't not in a pro club ever They got on me I bought a pro club right before I pulled up Got the Excel I'm not in Excel I found out They cooked to me
Starting point is 00:30:05 I think it was last Monday show bro I look like a you know Tube of toothpaste I'm a 2x I'm a 3 How the fuck? I'm a 2 I'm a 2 I don't know bro Yeah but you're a mushy tube I got a big gun
Starting point is 00:30:17 It's like it's a disproportionate It ain't like a regular Two and cheese He's like an extra larger Yeah You got a Christmas street vibes You know what I'm still You're not hot
Starting point is 00:30:36 None of y'all are hot It was hot as fuck today I'm a little bit I'm a little bit In the valley That's why I hear Yeah It's for sure hot oh yeah
Starting point is 00:30:43 I live on the west side Okay that's right Oh you're not in Texas no more In West side man I'm not here more often now I mean, not at out. Yeah, because I've been doing like more movie stuff. And, you know, like, especially when I was on the, working on the roast of Kevin Hart,
Starting point is 00:30:58 I was here for like six, seven weeks. I had to be here for like seven weeks. We got questions about all of this stuff. Before we get into it, let people know, like, who you are and what you've done and where they may know you from. Because I know they like. Oh, my God, David Lucas, where does it start? I've been in this shit since I was 15. I mean, my first national TV appearance at 15 or 16 on the MTV, Your Mama show.
Starting point is 00:31:17 National commercials When I moved to LA I moved to LA at 18 And then I got on Roast Me I think when I was like 26 And then after Roast Me Killed Tony Roaster Kevin Hart
Starting point is 00:31:30 I just shot a movie With Jonathan Majors That comes out in October Congrats on that A lot of stuff I can't think of it My nigga killing it man I'm so proud of you man
Starting point is 00:31:38 I'm counting on you Over a decade now It's been super hard I remember just watching him grinding on his come up man He would be at the comedy store Every week It's a shit called the potluck
Starting point is 00:31:47 Like he was one of the niggas that stuck with it for years and knew the value in it. And that shit changed his life, man. I'm so proud of this game is, bro. Like a lot of people, like a lot of people, because, bro, I almost gave up, like, especially like when ADD crashed and I had like my second kid on the way. And I told him, baby mom at the time, says, if I got to get a regular job, we might as well just move. Yeah, I'm like, I'm not going to be out here working a job.
Starting point is 00:32:13 So, yeah, you just got to. And then when I was actually, like, consistent, like going. to the comedy store and I made that like my job and my thing then stuff started happening but a lot of people just lose like consistency and they'd be inconsistent and they get too caught up in the hanged and actually like working and networking how long did you go to the hold on hold on what is that that sounds it too much in the in the hang than working like because like comedy shows are fun comedy clubs are fun so I mean there's going to be weed passed around there's going to be other drugs passed around there's probably going to be free liquor there's probably going to be a hain headliner that wants to buy you a drink. So if you got an issue and you just indulge in all of that and I see you fucked up, I'm not going to want to work with you. I feel attacked as fuck right now. I just think a lot of people don't.
Starting point is 00:33:00 I think a lot of people get into this whether it's rap or comedy or whatever, especially like a job where you don't have like a boss over your back. They get into it and they forget that it's an actual job and they go get fucked up and they go get high. And then it's like now that's your persona and everybody knows you as the drunk nigga. I ain't going to lie. Believe you, me. I know.
Starting point is 00:33:20 That could be an issue and you're not known for being professional, dog. I always treat comedy like a fucking job, you know what I'm saying? And then you see like certain dudes like the Burke Chrysler's of the world. It's like, all right, you've found a way to really capitalize off of just being loaded like every night and he's able to. So I feel like maybe that creates an illusion for a lot of people that are trying to be in that feeling, oh shit, like I see these fools. It's like, I just said one name, but there's like... A lot of comedians got addiction problems because we all come from broken backgrounds. So I will.
Starting point is 00:33:53 If you can capitalize on something like what Bert Chrysha did, but I mean, Bert has moments where he won't drink. But he's not... He's not on stage hammered. It might be a persona. And a lot of people forget that. Like, the persona that I portray on stage might not necessarily be me. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:34:09 So even if I... Like, a lot of comedians use it as a crutch. They'd be like, oh, I just took an edible. Right. That way, if I fuck up. Blame it on the edible. Right. Yeah, it's all good.
Starting point is 00:34:21 Do you feel like it's easy, though, to get lost in that persona? And, like, what are the waiting? 100%. It really is, bro. And there's, there's, uh, and comedy is such a doggy, dog world that your peers are not going to tell you you fucking up. They're going to celebrate it. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:34:38 Smoking. Yeah. Smoking on that. You know what I look like telling another drunk nigga, uh, you should stop drinking. Keep drinking, I take everything Keep drinking, whatever opportunity you had
Starting point is 00:34:51 I'll be getting that one too Like, so I mean, that's how I look at it You want to fucking crash and burn Crash and burn, bro, I got kids I got a few you to take care of Yeah And let me ask you this We were talking about this bleepie
Starting point is 00:35:02 But I want you to just like go a little bit deeper into it Briefly Briefly Oh, okay Stuck up Bleafee So just to kind of explain to people What the potluck was at the comedy store
Starting point is 00:35:14 Oh yeah It was a show every week week, right? And you can go up there and you can put your name basically in a hat. Not everybody's going up, but you know what I'm saying? I think like a hundred and people's, a hundred and something, sometimes 200 people signed up for 10 spots for three minutes each. Three minutes. And how long?
Starting point is 00:35:30 Very kill Tony. How long did you go to that show faithfully in a row? Oh, every day, every time they had it, I was there, bro, for like, uh, I mean, I signed up for Kiltony for like a year and a half and it's a weird story, right? I always shout out to my boy BT, uh, B-T, uh, B-T, uh, be tough. out in Atlanta, bro, I had became a door guy at the comedy store. And the time that I started my path to be a regular, I didn't want to go to Kill Tony. I was kind of like, fuck Kill Tony.
Starting point is 00:35:55 I was like, man, I signed up for that shit all the time. I don't ever get picked. No, it never got picked. Yeah, I don't ever get picked. Why the fuck I want to go? He's like, man, just cut with me. And I went with him and I fucking got picked and that's what started. He's like the good luck charm essentially.
Starting point is 00:36:07 It's just like, I take everything as a lesson, bro. Like, it could have been, you know, my demise. But I, like, do something, especially the days you don't want to do it. When you feel like when something is pulling you not to do it, make sure you do that extra hard that day. Does that ever like give you like, I could ask like all of you this? Does it ever give you like anxiety like on decisions that you make? Because you know like say you had just did one thing differently that day, your whole life could be different. Like you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:36:33 But the fact that your man has told you like, hey, we should go, then you go do it. It changes your life. But like is there like a parallel universe if you don't? Like that's why it just makes me hypersensitive on all the decisions I make. So I'm like this shit could just be a butterfly. effect. I mean, also, divine intervention has a great part to play in it. And I mean, I think that everybody's supposed to be something is going to be something regardless of how long it takes you to get there. You might stop short of when you were just about to make it. But I mean,
Starting point is 00:37:03 this is definitely an industry where the longer you're in it and you don't burn your name, you're going to eventually get something. Like, we see all the niggas that we grew up watching are the ones killing it right now. You know what I'm saying? Like the guys that are, you know, in their mid-40s, late 40s, early 50s are the ones that on everything. Killing it. But that's just how this shit goes. Yeah, I feel like that's kind of how the like life is. Kind of like we have those moments.
Starting point is 00:37:27 Like we probably all throughout of our careers doing this type of thing. There's been like 10 to 20 moments where you're like, I made it. You know, saying I'm good. And then it's like, no, I'm actually not good. I have to keep working and busts my ass. It's kind of like you keep having those moments until you just capitalize the right way on the right time. But it's weird though, bro. like I ain't gonna lie, bro.
Starting point is 00:37:45 Like the person that I am now, 10 years ago, that person is very proud of the person that I am now. And now all of my friends are also my peers, but they're also older than me. So it's like, I think to get to where I was at, which is at the bottom to like the middle to where you can see the top of the mountain, I think that's easier than from the middle
Starting point is 00:38:06 at the mountain to the top. Explain that. Explain that. Because like, when you're at the bottom, there's really nowhere else to go but up. To go viral, to get people to know your name to start making a living from doing comedy is very accessible if you're disciplined.
Starting point is 00:38:23 But to go from that, to just say, just to say you go from making a good living $15,000 a year, which is very obtainable now with the internet and live shows. So that's, a lot of comedians are doing that. But to go from the $150,000 a year to the $150,000 a show is a whole not a monster
Starting point is 00:38:43 because there's like so many different factors that act in and it might just not well we know it's not just your talent one of his luck yeah it's kind of just luck has to play your team your team the team that you surround yourself with well it's also there's so much like that mathematically makes sense because there's so few people that are at that level where they're getting paid that you know have the most we've ever had because like right now i can name like 20 comedians off bat who are doing theaters making no yeah that 200 year is $200,000 a month. Okay, shit. Like that's, you know what I'm saying, bro?
Starting point is 00:39:17 So this has got to be kind of like a renaissance, would you say, damn year? As far as like, I think, um, I think it's a renaissance. And I think also that every medium that does involve seeing someone live, I think right now we're just seeing like the surface of it. But I think over the next like five to 10 years, especially with AI now, people are going to crave, even if they're not good, they're just going to crave to go see live human human. interaction, yeah, because we're losing that. Yeah. We're losing. AI is changing everything.
Starting point is 00:39:48 I just feel like everything's fake now. So to have a real experience to actually see, oh, that's David on the stage in the flesh. Like, that's so valuable. I feel like the AI has increased the value of the reality. Yeah, it really does, bro, which like a lot of people hate it, but it's like, if you're a live performer, dog, like a podcast. Like, think about how many people just like listening to a podcast, like just like hearing a live voice, like to hear, you know, human diction between multiple humans.
Starting point is 00:40:10 Right. Well, and as the AI and similar technology gains more and more prevalence and becomes more and more sophisticated, like the age of disinformation that we're living in just gets more and more expensive. Right. Because it's pretty much, if you don't see something with your own two eyes in like flesh where I could like, like no ditty touch it. You feel on me? Like, if I can't do that, then it's like it doesn't exist or it's compromised in some capacity at the very least. We can't really believe that we see anymore, man. It's kind of pretty crazy.
Starting point is 00:40:44 It's like the post-fact era. I feel like people don't really even, a lot of people don't even care if it's true. It's just like, oh, yeah, let me share this. It's viral. I don't care it's true. It's going to do numbers. So I feel like we in a bad place.
Starting point is 00:40:53 We have a society of headline reactionary people. For sure. As long as the headline reads good, they start reacting. I don't even know what the fuck went on. Speaking of headlines, I wanted to get into this because, you know, you're a perfect person to ask about it
Starting point is 00:41:07 and, you know, just share as much as you feel comfortable with. the Kevin Hart roast. So you were in the writer's room on that. A lot of people caught some flag for some of the jokes, feeling like some of the jokes were over the line, offensive to some people that are no longer with us. Now, you as a professional roaster, and as a person that was in the room,
Starting point is 00:41:25 can you give us some insight to what was the thought process behind some of this content that came out on the roast of Kevin Hart? I mean, I don't think there's no lines in comedy. I think that's what comedy is about. is where you fucking draw a line and then you purposely go over that and then come back. So I mean, bro,
Starting point is 00:41:46 us as black people, we tend to be very reactionary, which is one of our biggest faults as a whole ethnic group, which does not do anything because, as we all know, reacting with emotions costs money. It doesn't make you any fucking money.
Starting point is 00:42:01 So that's, I thought it was going to be a good lesson. Like, maybe we should stop reacting the shit. Maybe, maybe we should stop just Right? Cancel him. Because it's so stupid. People are so stupid. The more you say cancel somebody,
Starting point is 00:42:15 the more popular they're going to get. Nobody has been canceled. Nobody. And the more you try to cancel somebody, you're just pushing their name in the fucking algorithm, which is making them more money. I think it's safe to say R. Kelly got canceled.
Starting point is 00:42:26 Bro, I guarantee you if R. Kelly got out of prison right now, he'll sell out of tour. He would definitely go be huge. That's undeniable. I'd be there. What are you talking about? You would go see R. Kelly? Digger what?
Starting point is 00:42:37 I don't know if I could. They try to cancel you a bunch of times, David. So do you feel like you have that perspective because, like, you feel like, shit, they try to do it to me and they couldn't do it. The first time it was scary because I got docs in the house that I had my name. It was when my mom was living in and my daughter lived there. So outside of that, that was like the only thing. I'm like, all right.
Starting point is 00:42:58 Real life implications. Like, attack me. Right. They're my family alone. I'm like, attack me. Why y'all release my mom's fucking number and fucking address? Right. So, I mean, cancellation, it was scary because you start questioning a lot, especially if it's your first one.
Starting point is 00:43:14 And you're like, is this real? Are people going to stop fucking with me? But then, like, all my shows were selling out. So it's like, oh, this is not fucking real. And the people that were talking about canceling me would have never came to see me anyway. No. So who gives a fuck? Also, don't you all feel like there's like a bit of a, like a, there's a lag when it comes to the general perception of people and when people are quote unquote canceled?
Starting point is 00:43:34 Like, by the time I became like, well. aware of your content and you were regularly in my algorithm, you had gotten canceled and un-canceled and I wasn't even aware of it until after I was already- You just got to keep going. Yeah. The moment you stop is when they won. I don't know if y'all know Ben Bank is he's a great comic from Canada and this theater or a club canceled him in like Minneapolis or somewhere, Minnesota.
Starting point is 00:44:00 And that skyrocketed. Like, bro, he's breaking records at comedy clubs now selling out nine, ten shows a weekend. Yeah, that's fire. So it's like, was, was you, even the, the Shane, you know what I'm saying? The Gillis shit with the SNL. It's like, that was obviously he's amazing, but like that catapulted him, you know what I'm saying? That was like the best cancelization. For sure.
Starting point is 00:44:21 Yeah, the best case scenario. It hardens you. It definitely hardens you, bro. It definitely hardens you. It's like jade you a little bit, like leave you jaded a bit. Like, you kind of like, man, fuck these people type of thing. It made me go a little harder. So now I really don't give a fuck what I said.
Starting point is 00:44:33 And you know what I'm saying? Like, it's like, who are you? Like, you know, like, bro, like, and now I'm going to a lot of meetings and, you know, I talk to a lot of executives and, you know, especially like at Netflix or like, that's what we want to bring back. Like, they're like, they're like, that's, that's what. Egy and comedy. Because they're like, bro, we're trying to bring back like 90s humor. Like authenticity. And then you got to think the world was better when you can make a good racist joke.
Starting point is 00:44:57 Yeah. And all of us make racist jokes. Like, I got Mexican friends. I say shit to them all the time. They say shit to me. I say the white boys. They say back to me. Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:45:04 Do you feel like it crosses the line. it's something like a George Floyd thing that was kind of just threw out there like not even necessarily. That's Tony though. But he just kind of threw it out there like it wasn't even a joke. It was just a statement.
Starting point is 00:45:16 I did you think that was a good joke that you made about. Because it felt a little bit. As just someone that's a comedy fan, it felt a little bit like that wasn't a great joke. He was going so well that I don't know. Like, but that's Tony. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:45:28 Right, right. If I go watch a Tony show, I know I'm going to hear something offensive and I know I'm going to hear something controversial and I know I'm going to hear something about a current topic and he's going to mix those three together. So he knows his audience. I think the energy was a little bit forced and that's kind of like the special energy
Starting point is 00:45:46 that people are kind of having an issue with it. It seems like at this point he like is too aware of that and is too forefront with that like, I'm here to offend everybody type of thing. And it's like, we don't like that energy. Yeah. I'm saying. I mean, he waited. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:02 It was towards the end of his set. the rest of the other stuff was killer, but... He was killing for sure. Like, on the same token, like, what's his name? Pete Davidson is fine with you talking about his deceased father. Cheryl Underwood sat there and took jokes about her. Some of the best jokes of the nighty were about that.
Starting point is 00:46:22 And she was laughing at it. And then, guess what? When she got her turn, she came up there and fucking killed. Right. And then she came on killed Tony. So there was no animosity. He went on Shane's podcast. There was no animosity.
Starting point is 00:46:33 It was the, problem the problem that I think with the world and especially social media is that the wrong people get mad for the wrong ethnic groups. Chelsea was Chelsea was the most mad. Chelsea, Chelsea handler went out there and fucking virtue signal for black people. And then, well, she has taken a lot of, you feel me, black dick to make it like, at the same token, let each ethnic group hold their own responsibility. Yeah, but I guess that was in her head.
Starting point is 00:47:02 That's why. Like, what else would even? That's like the white savior complex. Yeah, for sure. You're on a two-week tirade that these white guys are disgusting and all that. It pisses me off that she was able to go and make all this money from Chelsea lately. And if you've ever seen that show. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:17 The fuck are we talking about. Yeah. Offensive jokes. What are we talking about? Did she have like a Hispanic assistant? Yeah. She's like working around. But it happens a lot, bro.
Starting point is 00:47:27 Like white people go and make Buku money and not just white people, maybe some other ethnic groups, but white people go and make Bucu money. and they got 50-60 M sitting in the bank they got their house in the hills their fucking nanny or whatever their house cleaning lady their fucking assistant and they don't got to worry about shit no more
Starting point is 00:47:41 and their life is going so good now that they're like oh what should I do virtual signal for black people you don't really give a fuck yeah well that's their way of being involved exactly and like include me in the topic we're still cool we're still down to earth and I think it does come from like if you look at
Starting point is 00:47:56 because this is really like a liberal thing right we're talking about Democrats nine times out of 10 in this instance right And if you look at it, like going back, like, I know that my parents' generation and people like, they had great intentions. Positive intention. They really meant like, okay, we're helping. But at a certain point.
Starting point is 00:48:13 But they're so tone deaf that it's like coming off crazy. Yeah, society's like evolved past that in a certain point. It's like now you're just being a little bit patronizing and like tone deaf. Yeah. If you go back and talk, because I'm from the South, the deep South, where according to today's society, I should have been hung. Right. I never experienced racism
Starting point is 00:48:33 until I came to L.A. Ooh. Wow. Never. Never. Word? Bro. I never got called an N-word
Starting point is 00:48:40 until I moved to L.A. I never felt like my life was in jeopardy because of my skin color until I moved to L.A. If they're in the South, bro, white people who don't fuck with niggas, you know they don't fuck with niggas.
Starting point is 00:48:52 Or they'll tell you. And what do you do? Stay to fuck away from them. The most dangerous one is the one who smiles in your face and secretly hates you. That's the most scary shit. I rather deal with outright racism than subliminal racism. Right. I rather
Starting point is 00:49:06 deal with that any day of the week. I know what you're dealing with. I never had an issue when I went to school with whites and blacks. So even though it's like whites that quote unquote made it clear the day and fuck with you, they, they, they wasn't saying no racial slurs. I'm on a lot of white boys who never call me the N-word but would use it to try to be cool. Okay. And I think that's just teenage stupidity. And I still know a lot of these guys and they would never say it now. They've, they've matured. Are we talking soft air, hard R or both? Nigger.
Starting point is 00:49:34 You know what I'm saying? Like rapping. Okay. Oh, shut up, to their homeboy, to another white boy. You know what I'm saying? But like,
Starting point is 00:49:41 it was worse out here, bro. Like, we both know, bro, I can't, well, maybe now that I'm a comedian, but I used to couldn't go
Starting point is 00:49:47 to the east side of LA. Okay, yeah, because there's racial tension. Yeah. But now that I'm a comedian, they know I'm the funny guy, I'm no threat, but you know,
Starting point is 00:49:55 just from the quick visual, bro. Armenian's here in L.A. Okay. That's another thing too. So from over here in L.A., we have hell of different races. So, and they're kind of like... You get it from so many different angles.
Starting point is 00:50:12 Yeah. And they're very aware of like... They all kind of stick to themselves and kind of standoffish in a way. Well, yeah. If you look at other really diversities, like the Bay Area, New York, they have like a gang of races, but they all talk the same. Every person in the Bay Area, if you're from the streets, they all sound like they're black pretty much.
Starting point is 00:50:32 And I never heard Mexican saying nigger until I came over here. Which is very common, which is hard for the courts out here. And also in the South, bro, you get beat the fuck up if you're not black saying a nigga. Out in public. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But out here, I see Hispanic saying nigger. And the first time I saw that, it took me. I'm like, but then I saw everybody.
Starting point is 00:50:51 I'm like, oh, okay. Everybody was cool. Yeah, I'm like, oh, my bad. This is what you're doing. I'm not going to lie. I'm like guilty of it myself and I try it. It's not like I'm going to like. I've been out here so long and I've been conditioned to L.A.
Starting point is 00:51:08 Like I became an adult here. I moved here as a teenager. So I've been around enough Hispanics to know that it's not coming from an evil place. Like if you was like, what's up my nigga, I would dab you up. I wouldn't be ready to fight you. You know what I'm saying? Would you consider yourself an L.A. comedian? This is where I, this is where it happened.
Starting point is 00:51:25 Tupac conversation. Oh, okay, those are just talking about a Tupac debate from earlier. You're arguing earlier if I was just applying a stupid. I mean, bro, I think it's kind of like where you get,
Starting point is 00:51:37 where you get your grit. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's like you can, like Pweed. He's from Cuba, but like where would they say he learned how to play baseball? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:51:47 Right. One. No, but here's a thing, though, okay. But a lot of people I feel like, categorize you or attempt to,
Starting point is 00:51:55 like in the Austin category now. He's like, oh, like you part of like the Austin comedy scene. Yeah. I get it. Here's my thing, bro. If y'all call me an awesome comedian, I'm not going to correct you. If you call me L.A. comedian, I'm not going to disagree or correct you. It just is what it is.
Starting point is 00:52:10 You're just trying to be funny. I'm just David. I'm just me, bro. If you had to pick one, which one you're picking? What? Austin or L.A.? If I was not trying to do movies and if I was not trying to create stuff, I would take Austin all day.
Starting point is 00:52:24 because of the stage time and the quality of stage time and the opportunities that you get but like here in LA I get to go to more auditions meet with more people just on a regular basis so like it just
Starting point is 00:52:37 it all depends on like what you want out of your career like same conversation with New York versus LA like what the fuck do you want do you want to be a choppy fast-paced comedian and go to New York you're gonna get maybe
Starting point is 00:52:48 fucking six seven mics a night yeah so it's like what do you want bro Right. I remember, Britt. Shout out Brent. Shout out my boy,
Starting point is 00:52:58 Brett Taylor. He understood, like, because when I first met a lot of L.A. people, they told me that I was rude because of, like, how we talked from the South.
Starting point is 00:53:05 Like, and Britt, like, I thought y'all are more polite. But it's, it's just our vernacular. It's just the words. Because, like,
Starting point is 00:53:12 in the South would be like, what up, Bit? Oh, yeah. Brit thought it was disrespect. And then he said, I went to Georgia. Everybody said,
Starting point is 00:53:19 what up, what up? Because I hear, like, you tell that to a grown, man. It might be a problem. And in Florida, like, it's bitch. Yeah. In Dallas. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:29 If you cool with somebody it's bitch. Like, what's up, bitch? Fools call their homies. Like that. But it ain't no disrespect. It's like this is talking shit. You know what I'm saying? Hey, bitch. It's the same way like Mexicans in L.A. be like,
Starting point is 00:53:41 what's up, Dick? Yeah. Hey, Dick. Like, it's the same shit. Come on, Dick. Yeah. I wanted to ask you this too, David. Then we can, you know, open it up to whatever else you I want to talk about. So, hence clip just dropped a special, man of the people.
Starting point is 00:53:55 I have my critiques of it, but I think my critiques ever really kind of stirred from, I think, and I got two questions I want to ask. Did you watch it biased or unbiased? I watched it just with a clean slate. Okay. Wait, did you watch or did you watch
Starting point is 00:54:07 reaction videos already breaking it down? We watched on Netflix. We watched the whole thing. We watched the whole thing. Yeah. So what it just was, it's just that I think it's so new to see specials with
Starting point is 00:54:19 a lot of crowd work in it. Sometimes people are doing full-length crowd work. specials, I think Matt Reif might have done one. Like, Nate Jackson. Yeah, and I think they're just so brand new that it's kind of hard to, you know, gauge it. So those
Starting point is 00:54:33 are my two questions. Is it full crowdwork? It's not full crowdwork, but it's like maybe 60, 40 minutes, maybe. He gets into crowd work. It was just all like, you know, and it's just, but that, so I wanted, well, okay, I didn't know that you had saw, but do you? But I mean, I've seen, like, what I can say before you say it is,
Starting point is 00:54:50 um, what I can say about any recorded thing is watching a recording of someone special is maybe 60 to 70 percent of the actual special you won't even get the if there's not enough that you can do in your house to to replicate the feeling of actually being there and what I will say is bro I've been on the road with Tony plenty of times and he kills it every time so some people like Theo Vaughan murders mm-hmm and then like people would be like oh his special is bad Well, go watch them live.
Starting point is 00:55:24 That's the best way to kind of gauge. Gage somebody. Like, anybody can put out. Why do you think that changed? Like, because we used to watch them on Comedy Central and we thought they were bangers, you know what I'm saying? Killing me softly, things like that. Because we're in a TikTok society now.
Starting point is 00:55:39 So it's just got to be that short to the punch. We're in a 15, 30 seconds society. But what were you about to say about it, no, boy? Huh? You watched this. No, no, no. No, so I had, I had, sorry about that. I was just checking on my enough.
Starting point is 00:55:49 But no, no, no, I'm saying. So the bigger question. is you watch his whole special I watch her special do you think as somebody who is a touring comedian right now that crowd work is somehow bleeding and killing
Starting point is 00:56:02 stand-up because now this is my argument towards evolution and that's a crowdwork guy right here and that's why I'm asking because now like with a person like me that doesn't really do a ton of crowd work I'll just kind of get into my material but people are kind of getting
Starting point is 00:56:16 accustomed to being a part of the show now so a motherfucker might yell some shit out and what I can say about comedy now bro I feel like people who get it now evolved and people, I think a lot of people try to have nostalgic values of comedy specials, right? People, there's more famous people right now than there probably was our whole childhood and teenage years. For sure.
Starting point is 00:56:40 People are blowing up every month. So you are putting a spot to produce this entity that I need to put to the world. Where before the olden days, you didn't get. the special until you were 10, 15 years in. Yeah. And no YouTube special. I didn't, I ain't even been doing comedy that long. So I would still have like three, four, five more years before you even see a special for me. You know what I'm saying? Because they went around the fucking world perfecting that special all the way to the breaths and the pauses. So now you're getting a special that somebody might have to produce
Starting point is 00:57:13 and say 18 months, which isn't going to be as worked out as a 10 to 12, 15 year special. And Not to mention comedians nowadays, we got to master social media. We got to have a fucking podcast. We got to fucking run ads. We got to do this. There's so much more involved with being a comedian now that I think comedians should get a little grace. We can't be the Richard Pryors or the Red Foxes or the 2006 Bill Burt. It's not possible.
Starting point is 00:57:42 Just like when you see music nowadays, it ain't Al Green. We don't got that struggle, nigger. I didn't wake up in the morning. was I going to be killed from my skin color. So I don't got that struggle to produce no Al Green music. I don't got the struggle to produce James Brown music. What I do have is this and this is my representation of what I do have through the struggles that I've been through.
Starting point is 00:58:05 We can never replicate that. We can't. It's the time, the timing. They were actually going through real shit. Real shit nowadays is, nigger, Instagram down. I can't post. You know what I'm saying? They plant my account.
Starting point is 00:58:20 Yeah. I can't get my blue check back. They had to make music powerful enough to move white people to come see them. Stop being racist and fuck with them. And niggas had to be through the back. So they had to make music for that. I'm going to make this to entertain these white people. But the niggins in the back are going to be grooving to it a little differently.
Starting point is 00:58:39 Yeah. I seen Louis C.K. talking about on a pod about he was one of those guys out. He was like, I used to spend 10 years before I drop a special. But he said he started to feel like soulless. You know what I'm saying? Like he was just going through the motions. and he's kind of the first like top dog
Starting point is 00:58:51 that started dropping every year and kind of put that pressure on comedians to be like, yeah, we gotta come every year now. We can't do that anymore. I think we should give comics a little more leeway and give them their own identity. Like instead of like, people be like, you will never be Patrice.
Starting point is 00:59:09 Nicky, that's not even my favorite comic. Right. I ain't never emulated him. I've never, I can't repeat his specials word for word. Like, I'm not, like, just give me my identity. Because you're a big black dude, don't mean? You got a big black outspoken dude. But I feel like that's just like human nature.
Starting point is 00:59:24 Yeah. We try to. This guy should be like this guy. Oh, that nigga like Kevin Hart. Oh, he like, Chris, no, he's just D.C. Youngfly. Ain't that also kind of like the greatest entertainer of all time? Ain't that. I said that on record for saying that.
Starting point is 00:59:37 Ain't that across the bear. Don't fly. I don't know. This is what I say. I never want people to get a misconstute. I've worked around the dude. I've worked around the greats. I've been around you.
Starting point is 00:59:47 I've been around Tony Baker. I've been around all these. He said he's better than Jamie Fox, more talented than Jamie Fox. That's what he said. Listen to what I'm saying. By the way, before, yeah. Yeah, I just want to like an end of the preamble. I don't think he would agree with that.
Starting point is 00:59:58 No, he wouldn't. No, I'm not fair to this young man. Very unfair to this young man. They're misrepresenting what I said. Okay. I said they're both hyphenates. They both do several different things. And if I match all of their different things that they do together, I would
Starting point is 01:00:13 use the word hyphenate in his life. I would edge it. I would edge of this. Because DC can play drums, he can rap, he can act. I can play the drums, and I've never played drums. I've never played drums. But some type of way, I know I can play the drums. D.C.
Starting point is 01:00:28 to use in somebody's the fit. You might be better than Jamie Fogg. He can play the drums. He can have to D.C. Youngfly, that's your job. Look, yeah. Bro, he can dance. This is the greatest. The dica can dance.
Starting point is 01:00:41 He can sing. He can sing. He can sing. He can sing. He can rap. You need a tuba in there or something. He can do improv. He could do improv.
Starting point is 01:00:50 He could do improv. He could do stand-up. And that's what I was comparing it to, like, pound for pound. Jamie Fox. With everything. Don't you feel like Trun do everything. They can't ever really be great at one thing. Master of None. Unless you're like Jamie Fox.
Starting point is 01:01:02 Oh, God. And you win Gramies and Oscars. And Tony and Emmy. And I see that in D.C. You will never see another Jamie Fox, bro. Ever. That's what I was trying. So that was my argument.
Starting point is 01:01:13 I love you, Jamie. No, that's not what the fuck you was saying. That's the opposite. I'm gonna let you get it awful. We know the truth. Yeah, you can actually good. We'll never see another Jamie Fox. We'll never see another Denzel, Washington.
Starting point is 01:01:26 Right. How I look at those things, bro, is like pressure creates diamonds. Yeah. You can never, once diamonds are done, that's it. You can make lab diamonds. And that's what we have a world of now. Lab diamonds. They look and shine just as bright, but they're not a dime.
Starting point is 01:01:43 Moisonites, if you will? No, lab diamonds, nigg. That's different than moistinites? Yeah, kind of. They're more valuable than Moistenite. Okay, got you. Got you got you. So actual diamonds.
Starting point is 01:01:51 Now we have, they're just creating the lap. Now we have a world full of lab diamonds. Those before us were actual diamonds. You only create that under pressure. We don't have that pressure because a nigger can go get a bag off of Instagram or YouTube and then go to a movie. Shine bright likes moist a night. This nigga Denzel was in plays. Right.
Starting point is 01:02:14 You know what I'm saying? A raisin in this. Like. Yeah, it wasn't that fool. on fellowers and shit like that. Yeah. We, even John Boyega, who's close,
Starting point is 01:02:23 but he's not Denzel. Right. We can't get that again, bro. It's just whatever is needed to make that don't exist no more. Whatever carbon was in the earth at that time. The elements are around.
Starting point is 01:02:33 We don't, and that's okay, though. You know what I'm saying? Like, we, like. So you don't think we got no future legends coming out, like on that level. I didn't say that. Just in that level for those. What I'm saying is of the same substance.
Starting point is 01:02:46 Gotcha. We will have. people who are bigger. Like LeBron James is much bigger than Jordan ever was, but he's not Jordan. You know what I'm saying? He doesn't have that sub- right. He's just better. It's like the Michael Jackson effect, you know what I'm saying? Like, nobody's
Starting point is 01:02:59 going to be as big as that. I don't know if you can say better. And then also... He's more physically imposing, but I don't necessarily... He don't got that killer in him. He's played more games. He scored more points. We don't need the Jordan ever. Bro, we can even break it down psychologically. He was raised by a single mama.
Starting point is 01:03:15 Jordan had mama and dad. I got to do with their own courtability. Because, nigga, if you out there running sprints, when you look tired and you're sweating and you breathe and hard, your mom, so come in, baby. Yeah, look at Jaylon Brunson. Your daddy, gonna be like, hey, nigga, you got five more. Yeah. It's a difference.
Starting point is 01:03:31 So that's what gave him that killer instinct over? I said we could even make that argument. Okay, I got you. Yeah, I don't know what it gave it to him. Right. Somebody else I've seen y'all smutting on the news today is Jay-Z, but his blueprint show set the record for most tickets ever sold for a concert at Yankee Stadium. selling a total of over 45,000. It broke's record set at the Reasonable Doubt Show on Friday.
Starting point is 01:03:54 He was hating on it, which sold about $45,000. I wasn't hanging on that. I was hating on the freestyle. He kept dropping these freestyles and they ain't hitting nearly as hard. Jay-Z is grinned at any 50? 56. Yes. Come on.
Starting point is 01:04:05 No, 56 with a bulletproof vest on rapping. It's like, anybody's trying to shoot your old ass. You was aiming the finger gun at the no-jumper camera right out there. Oh, me? Yeah. You're ready to blake shit down. six motherfucker cuticle edges you shave the beer and you look at a little 56
Starting point is 01:04:20 I like a lot The niggas give him some great He's 56 and he's still killing Well why is he on stage with a bulletproof vest on Maybe he needs some bread I don't know New York is dangerous Yeah Kendrick was doing about 50,000 a night He's doing 46,000 a night
Starting point is 01:04:35 I mean that's pretty fucking good And we can get into argument about Kenney I mean I know it's in New York Oh you already know I know I know I know Ross has a very I'm team Drake Ross what's up Robo Ross hates Jason
Starting point is 01:04:45 I don't hate Jay-Z, but they said they were going to wheel out all these stats. Oh, it's the biggest show ever. But it's like, I swear Jay-Z himself was talking about. I don't want to be rapping after 40. And what is it, 56? 56, yeah. It's just like, it's, he's supposed to be this big billionaire guy. And now he back popping ass on stage with Beyonce again.
Starting point is 01:05:02 Yeah. It's just not a, it's not the dick of Jay-Z. I thought we were going to have at this stage in his career. That's all I'm saying. I didn't see any other billionaires doing. Is Jay-Z? He did sell a lot of tickets. As he said, I sold out.
Starting point is 01:05:11 Yeah, sold out. Okay. So let's be real. Let's be realistic. significantly affect his business portfolio. No. Okay, obviously not. But they brought him out.
Starting point is 01:05:21 He's only doing this to be like, look, I still got it, kids. But it's like, what's wrong with having? Why are we looking down on somebody that is widely considered the greatest of all time? Still trying to keep his skill set sharp and rock a stage. Like, how is that a negative in any capacity? I'd like to see him put out a number one song. I don't think he can. He can't.
Starting point is 01:05:42 He probably won't, but I think that should be bigged up. but what I don't like is like him given like a bunch of bars to Tony Busby. It's like, we don't want to hear that, my guy. Why not? We don't want to hear your Nicky Menage bars either. Why? Because it's just like beneath him.
Starting point is 01:05:55 Yeah, why are you talking about? When are you going to address the Epstein list, though? He ain't addressed him being on the Epstein list. Bro. I mean, I mean, bro, JZ 56, our ears are conditioned to Drake. Our ears are not even conditioned to that type of rhyme scheme anymore. Drake, he's only doing this because of Drake. Drake put the battery in his back for this whole thing.
Starting point is 01:06:13 But I'm just saying, bro. like you did it's just like does the argument like our ears are not conditioned for that our ears are not like with kids kids television programming bro they like flashing lights and certain sounds our ears are conditioned for a melodic music with 808s j z ain't got that because he came from a different era in a way yeah that is such an astute fucking observation i hate to say in a way though but like ti's new albums fire as fuck o g doing it well you know saying but ti comes from the south where there's been prevalent 808. I'm saying his style is more like giving you them bars on hard-ass beans.
Starting point is 01:06:47 And I love Tip, but Tip came out in like, what, 2001, 2002? Not the 80s. Yeah, I mean, exactly. I mean, realistically, reasonable doubt dropped in 96, although he was rapping. You know what I think about, bro? When I go to parties, right, and they play old nostalgic music. In the moment at that party is great, I'll try to listen to that shit in my car and turn it off. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:10 Like, bro, compare to what we listen. soon now is like, oh, this is, like, this is too much. You know what I'm sorry? Well, I feel like, exactly. Also, you also don't want to hear, you could be at a funeral. You don't want to hear, give it to me, baby. You feel me like at the funeral. Like, it's good.
Starting point is 01:07:23 It depends on if it's your funeral, you then I do. Yeah, exactly. It's just to smoke that pack. I'm just saying. On a regular day basis. The point is music is very environmental and our perception of it is deterrent by. It makes us feel something.
Starting point is 01:07:37 Yeah. It makes us feel something, bro. Like, half of the songs we listen to as kids are garba, I can't listen to Eminem no more When I was a jit I listened to that shit all the time Bitch I'm gonna kill you You don't want to fuck with me
Starting point is 01:07:49 That's in my workout mix You see how good it's working Yeah You know You talk to the D-wave Lomb right there That was live sitting in a Come on, bro, come on Yeah, come on
Starting point is 01:08:03 That's what I tie my shoes Trapp When you listen to JZ What emotions does it Invoke I didn't know Jay Z in years, man. Come on.
Starting point is 01:08:13 The only album I like of Jay Z is the live one. Which one? Really? The unplugged? With Mary J. Sank. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's the only, I can listen to that, like, loud. You don't fuck with the black album or blueprint?
Starting point is 01:08:26 Dude, there's a hard. Or 4-4-4? From the South, nigga. You're not get jiggy with that shit. Bro, I did not grow up on that. Biss, put on some trick, daddy, nigga. Like, we're from Florida and Georgia, bro. Put on some trick, some goddamn...
Starting point is 01:08:39 Ross. Project Pat, Rick Ross. There was a ton of people in sacks slapping Jay-Z on a daily basis. I don't know why niggas act like that. No, later it was. You know, when he was super duper famous. You know,
Starting point is 01:08:50 you know who converted me? You know who converted me to listening to Jay-Z? Kanye West. I didn't used to like Jay-Z's beats before. Bro. I feel like, I had a terrible. First of all,
Starting point is 01:09:01 hard-knock life was everywhere. It was a completely hard. I like, but the beats were trash. That doesn't matter. But the beats were trash, though. I like, the beats are trash.
Starting point is 01:09:09 The other time they were hitting. I like Camron over Jay-Z. Wow. That's not a crazy take. I go to a Cameron concert before I go to a Jay-Z console. Really? That probably is going to be lit. But also, I don't have no emotional ties to Jay-Z.
Starting point is 01:09:27 I was like when I was like an elementary school, nigger Dipset was the, elementary middle, dipset was their shit. I listen to a lot. This did look lit. He brought out Eminem one night. He brought out, you know what I'm saying? I go to that for free.
Starting point is 01:09:41 All kinds of people. I go to that for free. So you being from the South, though, what are your thoughts on, like, is Outcast still fire? Because that's like, or is that too old? Certain songs, but like all the Aquamini. Yeah, yeah, that's like. Clemeni. Okay.
Starting point is 01:09:55 Climani. That old highway was called. But that was like before, I mean, but I will vibe to, like, Dungeon Family. Cilow Green is one of my, like, bro, like, there's a lot of. Kilo Ali. Kilo Ali. Talk about that. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:10 It's got to be the right songs, though. There's a lot of niggas, like, from the South that y'all ain't going to know I hear. That I'd be like, bro, I'd rather listen to that before I listen to that. It just wasn't popular. Like, Kilo Ali, baby, baby. Love in your mouth? What the fuck? That's one of the best fucking blowjob songs of all time.
Starting point is 01:10:24 I met this girl in Atlanta. Let me play in her Missiles. She'd get my daughter. They never goes to his house. That never heard. Bro. Hey, let's just, let's get back to the point at hand, right? What I'm trying to say is,
Starting point is 01:10:35 yeah, get back to it. Jay Z's, the motion that Jay Z has right now is like a marketing. campaign. He's not as relevant as he trying to make out. He hasn't had a hit in years. And all of this, look, I mean, like, look at this. Academics said this is exactly what they was going to do. They were going to wheel out all these stats and say, Jay-Z, he's so relevant. Like, that reasonable doubt reissue didn't really do, didn't really do what they said it was going to do. He ain't going to be able to do a number one like Drake. And basically, it's Drake versus Jay-Z. Drake said the jig is up.
Starting point is 01:10:59 And then Jay-Z started dancing and doing this campaign nonstop. And I personally feel like it's inauthent. Like, this isn't what people are really checking for. No, shouts a g-sat-sat-s. Let him, let him. You feel me? He's still getting his... I'm saying, like, shots of Grandpa. You feel me?
Starting point is 01:11:14 He's still out here. He's getting shit off. He's getting his doggy on these hoax. He was really island hopping back then? I'm just saying the only person... The only person that could compete with Drake is Hove still. Let me ask you this. Let me ask you this.
Starting point is 01:11:29 Drake at all. Drake just had a number one song talk about the jig is up. He's never had a solo number one. Let me ask you this. Let me ask you this. Okay, because the first technical number one is New Empire State of Mind. He needs a feature. He needs a feature. Come on to put it in its hand.
Starting point is 01:11:41 If Jay-Z goes at Drake, is he punching up or punching down? If Jay-Z go, ooh, he's punching up. He's punching young. Down and legacy-wise. Wait, wait, stay again. Say it again. If Jay-Z goes at Drake, is he punching up or punching down?
Starting point is 01:11:56 Let me ask you that too. Punching up? Sure. Only niggas that's going to think, if they battle, only nigs that's going to think that he won is like 45 and over. That's me. There's a reason Drake didn't respond to that freestyle, man. Drake didn't give that freestyle no oxygen.
Starting point is 01:12:09 Drake was like, that was whack. Yeah, I heard he said that shit ass. You don't even get a response. And you know what, though? The thing is, I bet you Drake, like, in his heart is, like, ooh, oh, still geeking. Like, he can't say that publicly, you feel I mean? But, like, no way. And we all know how hard are saying that.
Starting point is 01:12:24 Drake is saying popp's his rock up. But with how hard he glazed them for like 10 years, I can say. Man, no, he looked. There's only going to be one person. What? There's only going to be one person that young people are still listening to when he's 57, 56. and that's Kanye
Starting point is 01:12:39 because he's ahead of his time musically. Kanye go way bigger hitmaker and artistic visionary than Jay-Z. If Jay-Z would have brought out Kanye, then it would have been lit. But I think this Jay-Z album's going to be better than bully if he drops me. You didn't like bully?
Starting point is 01:12:55 I didn't love it. You got to... It was like chill music to study, too, vibes. You got to drive with it. Let me ask you guys this question. Let me pose a question. So, if Drake
Starting point is 01:13:06 engages... engages with Jay-Z and beats him. He won't. He just did. Hold on. If they actually go back and forth for some records. It's looking bleak, right? And he beats him. No pun intended. There you go. Does that erase some of the stench from the Kendrick loss?
Starting point is 01:13:21 No, wait, what? No, this is like... If he whoops out old Jay-Z, does it take away the Kendrick gal? Is what he said. I mean, I... Does it make you be like, okay, well, he still beat Hove? No, because I think that's what Iceman did. No, bro. Yeah, that's what Iceman did. I don't know, bro, because...
Starting point is 01:13:36 This would be like a cherry on time. And all, I guess. And all, honestly, when you go listen to those, those, uh, disc tracks from Kendrick and, and Drake, low-key, Kendrick only won, like, one song, but that one song was so big that you couldn't release shit after not like a, right? But for the same reason, not like us, smoked Drake. That's why Janice smokes Jay-Z.
Starting point is 01:13:58 He had a number one hit that was nonstop in rotation, talking about the jig is up. Yeah. So it's like, the way that not like us smoked Drake, Janice, STFU. Oh, yeah. basically smoke Jay Z the same way. Jay Z can't hit back with the number one. The same way Drake couldn't hit not like us with a number one.
Starting point is 01:14:12 But the fact that you're even like debating this and giving it any like credence whatsoever shows that like, hey, Hove is the old-headed. That's so goaded. He still ain't clapped back. What, that freestyle would no beat is a clap back. He's still down a million points right now. But like bro said, like he, this is an old-ass man.
Starting point is 01:14:29 And he's doing this for fun. Like we don't look like he having fun. He looks stressed. Nah, this fool was having the time of his life. Yeah, he's a lot. this shit, bro. He on stage, let me sell out Yankee Stadium
Starting point is 01:14:41 for fun, gang. He's a corporate entity that can sell out Yankee Stadium three nights in a row. He is at a level where he can do that. That's not impressive. You know what the ultimate, you can really say Jay-Z
Starting point is 01:14:53 is the king if he does the same shit at So-Fi. Okay. No, that would be hard. I don't know if he can. You know, okay. It's LA, bro.
Starting point is 01:15:01 You know what? I saw Hove in 2017 at, I think it was like the motherfucking sports arena, which is 20,000 that's significantly smaller. You feel what I don't know. 2017 is off of the back.
Starting point is 01:15:17 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Not too far away from the Kanye and Jay Z. Al. Yeah, literally. Which was the last time he was probably relevant to young people. Yeah. Yeah, that's true.
Starting point is 01:15:25 Because 444 was like the mature out. Yeah, that sounds like a therapy session. It was like a business handbook. And they're saying that Jay was lying on cap, capper knit. You know what I'm saying? he was saying like some things that weren't true about Kaepernick and that he was like signing certain contracts
Starting point is 01:15:40 that Kaepernick is now saying he didn't. Capernick things low-keyed dot vocal. Okay. When you actually break it down? They kind of just pay him to shut the fuck up. Yeah. Well, that's what Jayze was saying, but break it down to Kaepernick. He supposedly told him like just kick back like, I'll help you, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:15:56 And then Charlemagne dropped that clip of that meeting where he's like, hey, Jay-Z, are you going to get Kaepernick back in? He was like, that ain't really my position. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. I'm in the building. I'm working for the NFL now. Who?
Starting point is 01:16:07 And then he said, and then he put Kendrick and not like us on the Super Bowl half time performance, man. Jay Z's diabolical with it. But he on some corporate border room shit.
Starting point is 01:16:14 We ain't trying to see him do like dancing on stage. But he has been doing solid with the Super Bowl. Yeah, the Kendrick thing was like a shot at Drake, you know,
Starting point is 01:16:20 but other than that, he has been picking, you know, pretty good. The axe. You needed Jay Z to put him in that position, right? No, for sure. Yeah, yeah,
Starting point is 01:16:27 but we all need to, you know, so they all ganged up on Drake. Right. And Drake's still getting a number one Jay Z need to make amends with Kanye. He do. That Kanye concert, bro. Duh.
Starting point is 01:16:39 If you, bro, if you went to that, what other concert can I see? You don't think that. Yay would just, like, be very accepting of the prospect of reconnecting with Hope. Depending on what? They should, man. They should, man.
Starting point is 01:16:53 Which Kanye you get you. Okay, what's going on, Ross? Jay, sorry. Condé was on stage talking about Jay-Z going to send his hitters up my head, and he was, I don't even want to say it, but like, Kanye said, oh, your kids are retarded. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:07 You get, he's, hold on, though, hold on. We got to shoot, hold on. We got to come back from that. No,
Starting point is 01:17:13 we got, who kids are retired? Kanye goes on. J.C.' Youngest child. We have to look at things in context, though. Kanye, Kanye is bipolar.
Starting point is 01:17:24 That is a byproduct of things that bipolar people do. When he's not on his meds, if he's under the influence, he might say some goofy shit. I don't think that we should hold that against him because that's a part of his mental illness. So David says your daughter's retarded, but he's having a mental breakdown.
Starting point is 01:17:40 You patching it up with David afterward. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, like you upset. Like, bro, like, oh, so what if Smody told you that what his statement, he was having a mental health? Yeah. He told you a J.B.
Starting point is 01:17:50 I would understand that a little bit more. I'd be like, okay. You couldn't imagine Jay-Z, the corporate level that he's at. He would never, ever let Kanye back into his circle. I understand that. I hate too much of a little. I'm just saying that. He kind of can't.
Starting point is 01:18:00 Because, like, also, bro, that's like, Jay-Z's on a, I don't think any of us can quite even grasp, like, where he's at. Like, for sure. Making billion-dollar moves, like, that ain't even in my, in my will room in my brain. Like, to even, I know how I got to move at the money I make, so I can only imagine how I need got to move at that level. Kanye got to sit down with, like, 10 rabbis to get back to with Jay-D. I mean, not, yeah, yeah, more money than Jay, at some point. This is why I always get, like, a little sensitive around the Kanye topic, because that's, something that hits close to me because I myself am bipolar.
Starting point is 01:18:34 And without going too deep into it, like me and David have been friends for 10, 15 years at this point. I had to pick this thing up at 4 a.m. He didn't see me, like, tweak the fuck out. Like, you know what I'm saying? But, you know, like, he was one of the people that I had told before, you know, the world even found out. And it was just like, I know that when you're in that state of mind,
Starting point is 01:18:50 it ain't nothing nobody could tell you. Like, you could just. Not always tell us. We didn't tell us. Tell us. I want to tell us. All right. Go ahead.
Starting point is 01:18:59 Yeah. So I suffer from like, you know, like manic depressive and anxiety. He used to take men's for it, but not anymore. But I knew he was going through an episode. He called me, well, he called me to his house. And it was like 12. And, you know, I try to sit with my boy when I can or anybody that need, you know, a moment. So we're sitting together and we drinking.
Starting point is 01:19:24 And I'm like, fucked up. And he's like, I'm ordering another bottle. I'm like, nah, nigga, the fuck. And then he gets really. really really joe he like nigger i'm stupid as fuck i'm like what he's like i proposed to a bitch to i'm like what he said i bought it the ring and everything i'm like what did you meet her like last week bro i'm like i said hey it was a ring like it was nice it was chunky man i had to get that motherfucker back that was when you asked for back i thought it just confirmed
Starting point is 01:19:55 it but that was me in a manic episode but also that also that also that also so got rid of like a great situation he had. I don't ever think he can replicate that one again. No, like a woman. Yes. I lost. Man. Bad.
Starting point is 01:20:08 The love of your life. Oh, the one. The one. Domestic. Man. I'm talking about go to his house. Niggas. Domestic.
Starting point is 01:20:17 It's just what I'm talking about. Tell her. Clean up. But I'm talking about at, for her age, nigga, like how you know, like you were trained to be a housewife. I'm talking about what you need, David. Like, I'd be feeling uncomfortable. when another niggas bitch is bringing me something.
Starting point is 01:20:32 Like what you're trying to do? Not even like that, but I would never let my girl bring you a drink. I make your drink before I let me drink. But she's like, you need something drink? Psh, pouring it. Oh, thank you. And I'm looking at it. Oh, it's cool.
Starting point is 01:20:44 Okay, cool. You know what I can. No spinning back. Right. No chance to spend it. I don't think he can. Dude, no, dick. That bit out of state.
Starting point is 01:20:53 She married. She's married. But what I'm telling you is that you can lose a lot of shit in a manic state. And that's why I love my brother because, you know, back when I was going through shit, like, you know, he's seen me in some compromising positions. Never once, like, put that shit up. Never, like, once put the shit out there, like, always been a solid nigga. But what I can say is when people go through manic episodes, you just got to be patient with them.
Starting point is 01:21:15 Like, you know what I'm saying? Let them get back on their meds. Let them get some rest. And it might be. Yeah, we accept you now. You just fall just fade like a month ago. All right. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:23 I love the guy. Great. Where do we draw the line with acceptance of people? And this is coming from someone. You should do it at all. It could be a dangerous situation. That's what I'm saying. Like, I would never,
Starting point is 01:21:37 because, I mean, you've got to think the American sniper died like that. Yeah. I would never, I mean, but I've been knowing this nigga so long as I'm going to take dope boy to the gun range anytime. And also, it's like, if I know I can beat you up, nigga, I'll come to you up. Like, if he starts to shut up, you really got to do it. Yeah, if I really got to do it. I know you ain't got no gun.
Starting point is 01:21:59 If you grab a knife. I know you wait for the get-biz. So you got to kind of, like, weigh the options. One of his, like, he has a super advanced, like, delusion in a manic state, and all of a sudden he thinks he's clean Eastwood and he starts talking about make my day and all. I'd be shook. I'm a nigga that carries a gun everywhere.
Starting point is 01:22:15 You don't have a shootout in that motherfucker. It's like, bitch, I know I go to the range all the time. Okay. Girl, I'm down to bitch. Like, bro, I'm damn near a white boy would have come to guns. That's very the south of you. That's very the south of you. Mousework?
Starting point is 01:22:30 Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. What are we put on, you want me to pull some shit up? Where's the mouse at? If you just go to the document that other.
Starting point is 01:22:38 W. J. Well, yeah, bro. I say if, if you know somebody with bipolar, bro, like, don't even put yourself in that situation. Don't even be around the ass type shit.
Starting point is 01:22:46 No. No. We should not fuck with no boy. I ain't saying that. He don't do what he used to do. Yeah, like two weeks ago. I'm glad that somebody's like actually having a real take on this. We need to support everyone.
Starting point is 01:22:58 No, for that. bad as hell. Because, like, also a lot of people that are bipolar. I have a lot of people in my family like that. They are aware to a certain extent to where they'll use that shit to the advantage and act like they was going through something just to get some shit off on you sometimes. A lot of people use it now.
Starting point is 01:23:13 A lot of people, we live in a society where everybody want to be autistic. Everybody, and if you look at dating profiles, every bitch, I'm on the spectrum of BPD. Yeah, yeah. Bipolar disorder. It's a shortcut to be a special. That's what she knows she got good for. Shortcuts? It's a shortcut to be.
Starting point is 01:23:28 So nobody will, like, treat you. weird, but they'll be like nice to you. But you're in this club. Exactly. You're in this invisible club because oh, well, I said that. Well, bitch, you ain't never been slapped in the mouth before. Well, yeah. We know you. We actually know that you give really good head now because you have this on your bio. No, that's true. Yeah. Like,
Starting point is 01:23:46 I grew up in the South, nigga. Yeah. There's a reason that shit didn't exist back in the day because niggas was beating on their big. That bitch be bipolar all she won't on the ground. Or like, buy some to church it. By Florida.
Starting point is 01:24:04 That shit didn't exist back in the day. We let these holes start working and now they got all this shit. I don't know. I heard about hysteria back in the day. It looked like it was tweaking back then too. But it was different, it was different though, bro. Women, women had more cooth and they had more elegance about themselves and they held themselves together.
Starting point is 01:24:23 They actually, women take a lot of responsibility because like back in the day, bro, the big that every nigga back in the day damn near had a secret family especially in the South and was cheating and it was the woman's responsibility to still make that family look good at holidays and on Sunday going to church and she would just,
Starting point is 01:24:42 women took a lot of shit back then they would just put all that shit in the back of their mind go get their kids dressed maybe shade their fucking husband and make the family look acceptable in front of everybody while still you know what I'm saying? You know he out there doing bunk
Starting point is 01:24:55 you got a whole other family because we, bro, I'm down with it. Women have found themselves nowadays, and it's a, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's good and bad to it because now so many men have fucked up that women expect all of us to be fuckups. You know what I'm saying? And they've kind of got away from. They don't trust us. They've kind of got away from the whole nucleus family.
Starting point is 01:25:18 So that's not even, you got to, it's rare, bro. That's like when I talk about, he found one that was ready for that. You don't really find. Well, yeah. It's hard because most of the. them from our generation, maybe in 44, got snatched up two decades ago. And like that moral and standard for society at large
Starting point is 01:25:37 is pretty much out the window now. And me and back then was putting so many babies in a bitch that they would make them undesirable. Yeah, exactly. By the time fucking Clarabelle gets divorced, like, who was even trying to smack that down. And they'll never have a life outside. She was cute when she was fresh out of being in jail.
Starting point is 01:25:52 Yeah, niggas knew what they was doing back then, bro. 30 years ago, my granddad gave my grandma eight babies. Yep. Who go fuck with this bitch if he left her? Yeah. I don't know. I think he's back. Right.
Starting point is 01:26:03 Like, nigga no. My mom's one to 10 for show. Yeah. Not with the eight piece. Like, no, bro, they was doing weird that shit. Like, niggas was dropping hell of babies in the bitch to make, because that was their way of control back then. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:13 Like, see, hoes, I could talk about women and men. That was men's way of control back then because not only were they physically and verbally abusive, they would do shit like that. Would impregnating the bitch back to back, even if shit didn't want to have with kids. Ain't no time for a career. You got out of his baby. But that was. some I had in the topics too is that I've seen that
Starting point is 01:26:29 it was women over 40 in the U.S. are having more babies than teenagers for the first time in U.S. history. It's like, oh, that's the bottom? Them cougars. Is that a good or a bad thing? I think it's a, yeah, right there. Up a little bit, just a tiny bit right there.
Starting point is 01:26:47 Just in U.S. women over 40 are now having babies at a higher rate than teens in the first time in U.S. history. So, you know, 40 and up. Cougas is running wild. 18 and under. Or I guess 19 and under.
Starting point is 01:27:02 I don't know, bro. I guess that's the time they, I mean, it depends on. I think it's also a regional too. You meet a girl out here. She's going to be a high girl in her 20s. But ain't that fucking the game up a little bit. Niggas normally mess with older chicks. It's like, hey, she ain't going to get pregnant.
Starting point is 01:27:17 Not a old chick is getting pregnant now. TT's having that baby. TG is going to have it. But also, hell of girls are having abortions, too. So it's like, you know what I'm saying? And I feel like once you're 40 and you're getting prego, you're like, I can't, you know, cook this motherfucker too. Yeah. You can handle the abortion when you're younger.
Starting point is 01:27:34 That age 40 abortion, that's my life. Yeah, my rock your system. But also, you know, pregnancies do as well. But I heard that, you know, older pregnancies are more healthy than women. Women take great care. They call them geriatric. You got to think, bro. Women out here doing better than us right now.
Starting point is 01:27:48 They working out like a motherfucker. Yeah. Eating right. You know what I'm saying? They're doing better. So they probably got that womb a lot healthier for a, a long period of time. Shrap,
Starting point is 01:27:57 you got a six-pack? Because we're all kind of like... Six-pack? What, my body? Yeah. Hell no. Okay. I mean, shit.
Starting point is 01:28:03 You're looking. It's a skin slim build. No, I'll put on weight since I've been out here, man. Yeah, you know. I'm fighting these demons from London. Oh, yeah. You can't gain weight on there.
Starting point is 01:28:11 That food is terrible. They got no seasoning. They ain't got no seasoning. Do you eat that, like, green shit with the biscuits and the pies and the green sauce? Yeah. Wait, the green sauce? It's like a, like, they're like, like, scooping like this weird bean pie thing out of like
Starting point is 01:28:27 tin foil and then all like a spice bag which is Scottish. No, no, I don't know about it. I was a steak and kidney piles. I think he's talking about
Starting point is 01:28:38 the shit that they got in Australia. No, no, I swear it was you know the brown spreeze. What, like HP sauce. Let me look at it. It's like the, it's like our version like peanut butter.
Starting point is 01:28:50 Oh, they've, a Vegemite. Vegetamite. Begum. Oh, that's fucking disgusting. Is that what it is? No, no, no, no. That's like the plankton food shit.
Starting point is 01:28:57 That literally tastes like fucking poison. And I love my assies. But that shit is hell of know. I'm going to try and guess what it. Yeah. It's like he was like scooping this weird. Is it like a beef in it? Oh, it's right here.
Starting point is 01:29:10 Pie mash and liquor or something like that. This says pie and mash. Yeah, pie and match like a East London style pie match. Like a pie pie. That's a shepherd's pie. That's a shepherd's pie. It looks like this shit. That looks fucking disgusting.
Starting point is 01:29:23 It looks like this. What the fuck. This is the TikToks I'd be seeing in this shit. I like somebody throw up on your food. And like, wow. Yo folks be going in there and ordering like four of them, big ass plane just crush it. No, but don't, maybe have, look, I'll tell you what, like, England has that's fire food-wise to me is their dessert. It's like fucking sticky toffee pudding.
Starting point is 01:29:43 Hey, it's got a fruity-ass name, but that shit, smack. Bras. Sticky toffee pudding is a word. You love putting that in your mouth. So if a nigga, if a nigga said, I'm going to give you $50 million, you got to live in lunch. for the rest of your life. You're going to take it? Yes.
Starting point is 01:29:57 50 million? We fish and chipping it all day. 50 million? 50 million. Don't they got good ass Indian food and show? Indian food is fired. I don't know what your Indians are beyond, but it's disaster. I would just bring people from this.
Starting point is 01:30:10 Your Indians are bad. I would get some butter chicken and I think they're from the wrong country. I would hire a staff from the States and have them come over and cook the food. Okay, 50 million they said you got to stay in London. You can never go back to America. Yeah. I couldn't do it. I wouldn't even do that.
Starting point is 01:30:25 Only if I can see my kid. If my kid can come visit. No, you can. You can fly your kid. No, I'm not picking this place up with my kid. No, you got to go at the castle. You can fly.
Starting point is 01:30:34 This is not like, we're not trying to put his parents back of Notre Dame. But, okay. I can live, I can maybe live in Cambridge. Cambridge, super random.
Starting point is 01:30:42 It's like the old school, old-time type place. Like, if I had to live in England, it'll be Cambridge. Are they racist out there? True. A whole different type of raceism. They can't, bro.
Starting point is 01:30:50 It's like an old-timey, like, historic, like, Kian and Kastism. It's like they're on some like mad anti-Indians, like anti-Pow. I'm about to say, bro, anti-immigrant more so than like racists. Blacks and Mexicans, we like top tier over there because the amount of Indians, bro, they, they just like, you know. It's like, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:31:09 We're cutting the Indian population. I feel like the Indian, East Asian population is kind of like the Mexicans here in a sense. True. Our terms of like, they're the main group of sort of persecuted people that there's the ones that like your guys's ice goes after the most type of thing. We don't need to go ice The police are a joke, bro Yeah, fact Immigration services
Starting point is 01:31:28 Bro, I saw a nigga get mugged I saw a nigga get mugged in Soho like at 2 a.m. And the police is just chasing the nigga on foot. Stop in the name of the law I went to the box. I went to the box.
Starting point is 01:31:40 I never meant to the box. What was they doing at the box when you went? Weird shit, bro. Yeah? Can you get to say or it's too much? I don't think you're supposed to tell the secrets out of the box.
Starting point is 01:31:50 I'd never been so. I just say go. What are the racial like cool rankings in the UK in like London like who are the cool mixed those oh they're so fine out there I would say yeah do a mixed bitch from England like the mixed
Starting point is 01:32:03 girls but then I would say like you know the cool guys like the black guys like black guys were Jamaican heritage you're a legend in the UK like yard man from the UK yeah come it's so hard to like it was so funny because you go over there and then you walk in like the street and I guess I look like this with tattoos hey bro if you want balloon
Starting point is 01:32:18 they suck it on balloons They are Mexican It's so much different to see Like they gangses versus Because it's like You can get down out there You'll fuck around and get stabbed up Like laughing in one of these niggas faces
Starting point is 01:32:33 Because like what the fuck It's a gangst? You know what I'm saying? Like the culture Yeah we've seen the video What was it because it seemed like Was it really like Out of all the spots
Starting point is 01:32:42 When you were on tour out there Was London like did you have a bad experience In particular? They were lit as fuck I bet they love you out there right Yeah the new bro I talk shit are very controversial and I'm very opinionated in my own stance.
Starting point is 01:32:55 And I love where I stand in my career, whereas either you love me or hate me. There's no in between. And I'm fine with that for the rest of my career. And people who fuck with me came to see me over there, they agree with my, whether it's a bullshit stance or a bullshit point of view is still my point of view and they like to hear it.
Starting point is 01:33:14 Like, that's the thing about it. My shit is mostly exaggerated truth, exaggerated truths in my point of view. And when you went to England, did you wind up fucking that one dude's bitch? You did. You were like
Starting point is 01:33:31 on the Kill Tony panel, and there was some dude from England. I think actually he was America. He's like, oh, my girlfriend works in London. And you're like, hey, I'm going to fuck your girl. I had my first ever Indian. Yeah. How was that? Harry. Oh.
Starting point is 01:33:45 She had never showed her pussy ever. I was it, though. It was good, though? I don't know. I mean, that would be... No disrespect to them, bro, but, like, our hygiene ain't they hygiene. Yeah. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:33:58 And I'm not used to a hairy... Like, I ain't used to no hairy hole, bro, like, armpits and arms and all that. Yeah, arms legs. Wait, hold on, it was all... Everything, bro. But that's... How'd you even do it? Was she bad other than that?
Starting point is 01:34:10 She was fine as fuck, bro. But I would have to bring her over here and be like, hey, this is what the hoes over here do. They wax. You gotta get right, right? They get laser. but it's just like a cultural difference like if you go to Africa and you got to fuck a bitch who ain't showered
Starting point is 01:34:23 in a while because they're in the village that's just in a while? Bro, if you living in a village I mean we're pulling up a request in that. No, but what I'm saying, if you go to a place to where hygiene might not be as important because they're in love with their natural pheromones what can you do about it? Yeah, you're going to judge
Starting point is 01:34:39 them? That's just their coach? No, but I'm not going to fuck. Yes, you are. No, I'm not. If I had a guess. You might be having a bipolar episode I have the fucker I'm sorry I'm having a break down It was just culture differences
Starting point is 01:34:54 Like hair and shit But I mean they probably got some girls like that And you know Of course somebody can be like They do shade Well bitch I didn't know I didn't run the toilet That shit
Starting point is 01:35:01 But no the hose be on you Because we're American And they know that from the moment We walk into a place And I think they jock like And they think we're violent as fuck Do they? Oh, nigga bro
Starting point is 01:35:13 Anytime I go anywhere the rest of the world, it almost lets you know, like, the news we put in a 10 on the two. Because we'd be looking at them as crazy. And then you go over there and it's like, well, where is that at? And why does this nigga think I'm so violent? Well, I think a lot of it also has to do with, unless it's like a, we're not talking about fucking like Brazil or Rio de Janeiro or places like that. But when it comes to like Europe and shit.
Starting point is 01:35:38 Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think that they're like civic violence pales in comparison to ours. Oh, Brazil is a whole different beast. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You've been there? All them other places. No, it's way worse. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:35:48 I want to go with somebody who's from there, so I'm wind up somewhere I'm not supposed to be. And it's just like shit that's exotic because, like, I know that Ross, when he out here, you're cleaning house on these Americanos. I'm a, eating hell ass. Yeah. They're crazy. He's eating butt.
Starting point is 01:36:01 No, but like, I feel like the UK and the U.S. Got a special relationship. English people fuck with Americans when they're in England and then vice versa. Because y'all are us. Yeah. Yeah. Y'all are. And when you go over there, it's crazy.
Starting point is 01:36:12 like I grew up in the South you hear them use like words that white people in the South use like oh I'd be forgetting like these things they did come they be like yonder I reckon yeah like those are we and me britches
Starting point is 01:36:25 that shit with me timbers that shit I hear in the South but not like yeah Asia's where you go to clean up yeah everybody LeBron James over there hey well okay but also it depends on which Asian country Because even like Japan is open season
Starting point is 01:36:44 Nagasaki I was in that bit Tokyo yeah The second bomb dropped Bro I'm black with tattoos I'm taboo over there Yeah yeah You can't like have your tats banged out right you have to be covered
Starting point is 01:36:55 Because of the yakuza Right yeah Well you gotta cover all your tats Well I mean is To where jack like the store owners Will look at you crazy They might not let you in You know what I'm saying
Starting point is 01:37:04 It's considered Nagasaki was different Nagasaki was different from Tokyo In Thailand just got to be careful of the lady boys i want to go to um south korea any close calls with lady boys no i was with i was with my um my ex when we went so i ain't even need that yeah i look at okay if anyone that goes to thailand if you're if you go by yourself or with your homeboys
Starting point is 01:37:30 you're suspect yeah now like on you're on the list you're on the list if you go with your girl that's the only acceptable like to me even then like i i would say you get like a quarter eyebrow. And this fucked up because I really want to go to Thailand. I think he's got amazing food and beautiful culture. But I'm dubious because I don't want to have like the scarlet letter of... Yeah, could they say they raised, for what
Starting point is 01:37:53 I heard, this is what they told me when it was over there, is that like, that's like one of the only ways they can make money. So these boys have been raised since like young to be a fucking lady boy. Oh my God. They got the mannerisms and all that and to... Shout out to them. Shout out to the lady boys.
Starting point is 01:38:09 Shout out to the lady boys. They're working. They're getting that bag, man. Anyway, they can get that bread, but it sounds good. Now, we have a, actually, this is an interesting topic that's coming from our very own. Our very own lady boy. Yeah, our very own. Adam 22? Yeah, I want you to read this.
Starting point is 01:38:25 Tell him he left as low. You want to read it? I just send it to Moose. I mean, I can send it to you if you want. No, that's fine. That's my head. I just want to read it. What's Adam?
Starting point is 01:38:33 Where he at? Adam is on vacation. He can be here today. He on vacation. How y'all know he ain't dead? Yeah, he's literally. We talked to him. He must have minded time.
Starting point is 01:38:41 He says, yo, so I want you guys to discuss this on the podcast. I just want to know if this is reasonable or not. It's like a lot of girls in the porn industry right now, they got like an AI version of them that you can talk to and send you photos and videos or whatever you know it looks like them. It sounds like that, whatever, like you know, it seems like it actually kind of becoming popular. So I guess like the obvious question is,
Starting point is 01:39:03 should I create one that says and does gay shit for all the gay men out there who obviously want to bang me? and am I allowed to still hold it down for being heterosexual? If I made that kind of move, I just want to know it's not like I am gay. I just have to like, you know, tell the AI company like, yeah, it's cool. You can have me do a bunch of gay stuff. Okay, thank you guys. That's too long of a question.
Starting point is 01:39:28 I forgot. No. There was a lot of, if he has an AI version of him doing gay porn, gay eye, like, the only fans are bot that will respond. Adam and Turkey getting some more hair? Yeah, yeah. I think so, yeah. It's been transporting.
Starting point is 01:39:40 Nah, I don't... Tell him I got some left over grass in my house of Georgia. I don't... If there's a chicken in England from... The AI bot is going to be like sending pictures of his butthole and things like that. Listen, he's not actually doing it. And if he didn't do it, somebody would probably bootleg it and do it for free anyway. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:39:59 So you might as well get your back. He's a porn star. He's not actually doing it. He's doing gay shit. But here's my... No, his A.I... His likeness to do gay shit. AI image is doing that.
Starting point is 01:40:09 But it's your likeness. If I post in the Reddit and his dough boy sucking cock, you're going to be a little taken aback. I can't respect a man who's got an AI boss sucking dick with his image and likeness. Here's the problem. Perpetuity? Here's a fucking dick in perpetuity? If the AI, if the gay eye porn takes off and it gets so popular,
Starting point is 01:40:27 he might start getting them offers. Hey, 10 Mill do the real scene. We need the real gay Adam porn. And you know what Adam's like, if the bag's big enough, he might be like, ah. Put it in my butt. Run it. But it's all like, I think with Adam has always been, and this is not just him.
Starting point is 01:40:41 Like, if you look at, like, I've seen that movie about that, that Rocco So Freddy dude or whatever, who is the porn star from Italy and all that. So, wait, what movies do you watch you, man? No, it was like, it was a big Netflix series and stuff about this dude. But I had seen his work pretty much. Did he end up doing gay stuff or what? Yeah. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:40:57 Yeah. I don't want to put that on Rocco, but you feel of me, like. Rocco, no. All right. So here's the cold part. Adam first was like, I'm just going to be banging chicks. It's going to be me and my wife. Oh, God.
Starting point is 01:41:09 I don't know where this is. I'll never have a dude bang my tip. He said it's the hip hop in me that will never allow me to do that. It's the hip hop in me. It ain't all me. He'd been slapping too much T. Swift. All right. So with that being said, he obviously traversed that boundary.
Starting point is 01:41:25 And then like whatever rabbit hole that leads to with the two of them and whatever content she got going on. Right. Then like the obvious, what can you do next besides once all the different combinations, of three ways and gang bangs and blow bangs and all that runs out whatever then it's going to be like oh it's going to be me you and a trans like that's like the most that is the next this is the next we're aware of logical trend and then the very end is adam being blow banged is what you're saying oh okay I'm just saying it's a very it's incredibly slippery wet wet slope yeah I don't know bro it's tiptoeing I feel like once you're going to the devil's playground of porn then
Starting point is 01:42:06 is that case? stuff is the devil's playing down? Or just the whole entire industry. The whole entire industry, bro. And it's like, okay, well, who's to say you don't go that far? And then it's like, okay, well, I'll let him do this for that. But do you think what he's doing is if he decides to let the AI image do whatever with his likeness, does that make him gay? Once you fuck somebody on camera, I feel like he's not doing it on camera.
Starting point is 01:42:29 His AI. No, but I'm saying, but I'm saying what, in general, once you're fucking somebody on camera. Like the doors open. Or in his thing where he was showing. and his wife, then what else is left? So why not just go all the fucking way? I think I have no more, I have no more pride anyway. But you see the way things go.
Starting point is 01:42:47 No, yeah, or not. I mean, you already hopped out with it. And then it's really the unfortunate thing about porn is it's like, it's become this, it's been like Mr. Beastified because you got chicks doing 100 in a day, a thousand men in a day. I've been telling him, Adam, when's he going to do the 100 girls in a day? But I don't know about it. I don't know if Lynn is going to let that run around.
Starting point is 01:43:03 I thought they were together. No, they are. No, they are. That was fake. That was a fake thing. But TM, the trustworthy new source of TNV. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm not like, to be honest with you.
Starting point is 01:43:15 I didn't even need to. So who made it like fake? Some, well, go ahead. No, supposedly, like an obsessed fan made that, created this lawsuit and then it got leaked to it. He filed the paperwork on behalf, like, fraudulently, and then, like, TMZ got that made. Making egregious claims that didn't exist, like, oh.
Starting point is 01:43:35 Their desk. All kinds of weird shit that wasn't true. Is this crazy fan lush? We don't know. Yeah, exactly. The world they never know. We don't know what's real and what's shit. Yeah, for real.
Starting point is 01:43:45 Yeah, at this point. But the thing is, we've seen the homie deviate from heteronormative porn to, you feel me, like. Oh, me, deviated from heteron. And he's still, homie? Yeah, Adam is the homie? Deveat from normal porn to what? Well, I mean, okay, like.
Starting point is 01:44:06 Just like the wife, yeah. Yeah. And I guess that's still heteronormative. Right. Then, like, the next step would be breaking down that barrier, yeah. Yeah, that once like Gracie Jane in the mix. I mean, I agree with what I think somebody said earlier. If they offer him a bag big enough, he'll do the AI showing the asshole.
Starting point is 01:44:24 But, okay, I think that. Hard to say no. It's not. I'll be honest. Offer me like, you feel of me? A cold quarter ticket. You can fuck my AI ass. So you're flew in the bridges, Daddy.
Starting point is 01:44:39 Like, I don't give a fuck. Like, what? Because, like, like, it's like, not good point. No, but this, this goes back to what, what David said at the start, which is, like, the proliferation of all this fake AI shit. It's made the value of real stuff, like, performing on stage or really getting fucked in the house by a dude, more valuable. Them real cheats are going to be worth a million bucks.
Starting point is 01:44:55 Okay, but check a game. But Doboy made a really good point, too. He's like, hey, they're going to do that shit. Regardless, they're going to make it. If they really want to, they're going to bootleg that shit. They had, they had me making out, whoa, Vicky. You feel me? kinds of
Starting point is 01:45:07 Josh Kits and Jalisa the other day was so funny Oh my God They got They got cartoon versus Amar Simpson Bussing it down
Starting point is 01:45:17 That's what you're looking at I was watching a family guy porn when I was like a little kid I'm not going to lie When a cartoon Probably Probably clipper For show
Starting point is 01:45:24 When I was a kid I was clicking on that shit But sure I think that kind of Maybe warped All of our subconscious minds to a degree Like they're clicking
Starting point is 01:45:35 back and forth and then we wind up being aroused while we're seeing things like Marge and the I don't ever want to get that weird because that takes you... Lois is hot I mean, we could all admit that. Yeah, but I don't never want to get a hard dick for. Yeah, okay.
Starting point is 01:45:48 I want to be like, move for Marge. I've gotten some animated. I don't never want to see no animated porn and be like, fuck I'm... You're too freaked out, you feel like at that point. I remember watching anime as... And you're detached. I don't ever watch it.
Starting point is 01:46:00 It was pretty made by a dude, I just see that it's there. What about a hentai? Like, a girl getting fucked by Octopus with like 20- I'm not into that. I got some early boners. Once you program your subconscious like that, how is it going to be the fucking real girl after? Yeah, no, for sure.
Starting point is 01:46:14 Yeah. How many that octopi? You're getting gummy worm way more if you're jacking off the tentacle porn. Gruby worm. With pulpo. Yeah. No, honestly. Yeah, somebody get y'all some money.
Starting point is 01:46:23 Send me that. Yeah. Started with moose, so I get that $5. Sorry, David. Showed. I just wanted to talk about this briefly. I know you guys covered it quickly, but I don't think that fucking streaming.
Starting point is 01:46:36 are overtaken music. Yes, they're, like, more relevant in, like, clip form on the internet, but how do we, like, you know, categorize popularity? Because I was looking at it more from a, how many hours are these people taken up? Music is still, like, fucking astronomically.
Starting point is 01:46:53 Can I tell you why? Take yourselves. Because the way that, pay attention to it. The way that we normally consume regular music now, you get it in such low doses, low dosages, very infrequently. Streamers stay in your,
Starting point is 01:47:06 face every single day. So when you have somebody like, Kai Sina, I drop a disc video, he just dropped that video the other day. It's already like 3 million views. That's life for him, by the way. And that's 24 hours. But how many of the life is what he sell? I think he could sell out some shit. Did you see his streaming
Starting point is 01:47:19 university? That shit was packed everywhere. That's a niggis trying to get on. That's not niggins having to buy a ticket to be there. But he doesn't have to do that, though, because he don't even got to leave his house and he can have 70,000 people in the chat. But they ask, is it getting popular? And that's how you determine popularity.
Starting point is 01:47:33 Right. And I think it's becoming more popular than rap at this point. It's not, though, because if you look at that, 70,000 a day for every day if he gets that, it's still not Drake's $10 million a month. Can I tell you a fact? Can I tell you a fact? Future dropped a single to his album. It's called Effa Interview, right? He dropped it on Friday.
Starting point is 01:47:51 Right now, if we fact check it, I think he might be at like $1.4 million. Yeah. But he'll still sell more. Kai Sinat dropped a disc record yesterday, and he's already at $3 million. But your first point is kind of, if we just swap those two things, it applies to this. Kai Sinat hasn't wrapped in probably three years. If he continues to drop music videos, and it's kind of ass like this one was,
Starting point is 01:48:13 in six months, no one's going to be watching that. Hold on. It was just dated-ass drill song. It was cool, but if he drops music consistently, people are going to stop paying attention as much, and it's going to be just in the loss of the shuffle. What's the guy's name that streams with AB? Dean.
Starting point is 01:48:30 Dean the Great. They dropped the record. Exactly. How many tickets? If they came to a 300-seat venue here in L.A., I don't think they would sell. If they said, we're strictly doing music. What would you rather do as a businessman? Sell out a thousand-seater and whatever the financial benefit of that is.
Starting point is 01:48:52 Okay, cool. Or stream from your home for four hours and have 80,000 people tuning in. Which one are you taking as far as growing your fan base? Me personally. Are you taking that thousand-seater? I'm taking the thousand-seater. Over 70,000. He wants that human connection.
Starting point is 01:49:11 Not even a human connection, but... You could fake 70,000 live-bush. I could click on a nigga right now and watch it. That don't mean I'm gonna go buy his t-shirt. But if you come to, if a thousand people come to a show, at least 400 people gonna buy a t-shirt. So now I've doubled that and then I might get them to sign up for some more shit. Oh, I got another show.
Starting point is 01:49:31 I'm dropping this kind of tickets if you was at this show. So no, I got them to... It's more than... I think it's more tangible. I take the tangible shit over the streamers. That doesn't feel prehistoric sometimes, like building it like that when you see people get like two, three million subscribers on Instagram,
Starting point is 01:49:48 like after eight, nine months in. But that's kind of top. That don't last, that don't last, bro. Are they going to be talking about Tysonette in 20 years? Probably. Maybe. What he's doing.
Starting point is 01:49:58 But he's like very like above and beyond a lot of other guys. I rather build it brick by brick. Give, Give me the Snoop Dog career over the Drake career. But also streaming is just like music in that it's super top heavy. We're like Speed and Kai and Aiden. And we could probably name the top 25 streamers. And then after that, it's going to drop off a fucking mountain.
Starting point is 01:50:21 Take about the revenue and how much motherfuckers are getting paid. What's that nigga? Aiden. No. Ashton Hall. The muscular nigga. What he had now? Bro, I couldn't stop seeing that nigga eight months ago.
Starting point is 01:50:33 Oh, the nigga that was putting his face in the ice water. I don't know what type of virus he had to make that shit come by my algorithm. I mean, he's still dunked his face in the water, but ain't too many people. But it's like also the clip farm. The Saratoga. He made Saratoga popular. Let me ask you all this. What is cooler for like a kid right now?
Starting point is 01:50:52 Does a kid want to be a streamer or a rapper? A streamer. NBA Young Boy is more desirable from kids in the youth today than Kaisenat or ice show speed. No, he's not. Yes. More kids want to be like NBA young boy. then wants to be like, no, they don't.
Starting point is 01:51:07 Because Cyan's feet don't have super, like, strict, like, lifestyles that they're pushing. They're just lit streamers. NBA young boy has a specific image of, I'm outside, I'm super cool. And it's dangerous and he keeps going to present. Yes, but that is the most desirable to young, undeveloped minds.
Starting point is 01:51:24 I'm not saying what's better. I'm saying what's real. And he sold out an arena tour. Yeah, he went. I'm pretty sure Kai could do that if you want to. Have you seen some of Druski shows? They're not bigger than that. Why?
Starting point is 01:51:34 would probably like the young Drewski is selling out arenas for that could have been record shit. Drewski is more valuable on paper than Kai. You think so? If I was a business person,
Starting point is 01:51:45 I'd take Drewski over Kai. I think they're right about neck and that. I think, no, no, Drewski, I would say. I think Drewski is more valuable. Why is Kaysenet?
Starting point is 01:51:54 I don't know. Why is Kaysenet not hosting the BET Awards? What I'll say about, I'll say, Drewskiy is significantly more talented. Yeah, for sure. He's more talented than, I would say Kisenet is too big.
Starting point is 01:52:04 to host the BET Awards. That's why he's not doing it. I'm not going to lie, yeah. I think he can only do one thing really well, though, Kai. It's like, I don't know if he's got the range, like, that's my point. But what does he can do differently other than B? He's a hell of different skits. He's the funnyest.
Starting point is 01:52:16 He's the same vein of, like, he's one of the funniest. He's one of the funniest. I think that's crazy. No, the skits are on another level. I think Juski will still be at the same relevancy in 10 years and Kai won't. I think he has a better chance because he has more of the old media with him and Kai is super like four front news streaming era.
Starting point is 01:52:33 And they're damn near the same age, like, Drewski got a couple years on. I think streaming is about to be the new wave, though. I feel like it's going to take over every year. It's been here since 2017. Like, you gotta stop saying this. No, but you just learned who Kitesanat and I Show Speed was. These motherfuckers have been, Ninja got 10 million for Mixer in 2019.
Starting point is 01:52:52 Yurie was here. Yuri had a thousand viewers on YouTube at one point. I'm saying, though. No boy. What's up? Country Wayne or Katsynette? Oh. I'm taking Wayne
Starting point is 01:53:06 DC Yon Fly or Kaisenat Kaisenat Kaisenet I take Kaisenna over D.C. Young Fly Yeah, so what I? The greatest entertainer of our generation? Flies, man. I take country Wayne's path over Kaisenetz.
Starting point is 01:53:18 Yeah. And he just drops whenever he wants on YouTube, he turning down Netflix. And they can do it on a billion views a month. That's crazy. Is he still? I mean, I just don't pay attention. He just dropped his views shooting on his iPhone.
Starting point is 01:53:29 But I think to me like a really important conversation and I'm glad that this afforded me the opportunity to bring. bring it up is because David said something that I that really resonated earlier he was all right now is the easiest time for people to be famous and like he was referring to comedy and he's right but it's extends far beyond that it's like whether it's music whatever the fuck you got going on due to the word the you know the apps and the I don't even call it the internet no more you feel me is that right now
Starting point is 01:53:57 it's so pop it's so easy to do that but the cross to bear is the inverse is all like okay, in comedy, for example, back in the day, motherfuckers got a chance to perfect their sets for a year, and then you would see like the special because fools were doing it. But now it's like every single time you hit the stage it potentially could be online.
Starting point is 01:54:19 I know there's like... Go viral. I know like, you know, the comedy store or like you film me the mothership, you're not supposed to be filming, but other than that, like most places you're supposed to. And a risk that comedians have and chime in on his, David, if this is happening,
Starting point is 01:54:33 Sometimes comedians have put their material out And then a social media influence To take it and flip it into like a sketch And kind of like, you know what I'm gonna have? Have you ever had one of your jokes like took a remix? I think my shit too dark to make it to a sketch I got jokes about choking bitches out I don't know they make it into a sketch
Starting point is 01:54:55 No and okay and is I think a lot of times with you Do you get off on the fact that like let's say like beyond like you could be on the stage or you're doing a pot and you're saying something. And in your head, this is fucking comedy. This is cutting edge. And you don't give a fuck. You're just being yourself. And certain people might be offended.
Starting point is 01:55:14 Even the people that are right next to you, like, damn, I can't believe he said this. Like, does that like when you're like, ooh, I got to keep going harder. Don't have me back. I got my own podcast. Okay. That's how I would feel.
Starting point is 01:55:25 Like, okay, I don't got to come back. But like, don't. But do you like, is that like what you're going for sometimes? Like, ooh, I'm going to try. I just grew, I just grew. I just grew up in a household where no words were spared. I grew up being raised to speak your mind and say what you say. And I just grew up in an old.
Starting point is 01:55:43 I was raised by my grandfather. So like he says shit all the time. And that's just what I did and how I took it. Do you think comedians have to consistently do stand up to be considered a comedian? Yeah. Yeah. It's hard to come back. How many times a week?
Starting point is 01:56:03 I mean, in a, in a, in a, To stay fresh, you want to be up at least probably like once a night. What's the most time you've taken off since you became full time in stand-up? Like four and a half months to shoot that movie. Oh, okay. And you show flexing the comedy muscle, though, because you're acting low-key, right? No, it's different because I did a, I did like maybe like one or two shows at a local comedy club that was like an hour and a half drive away.
Starting point is 01:56:29 I was shooting in Gaffney, South Carolina. and I did a show like in Green, Greensville, Green'sboro. Or something like that. South Carolina. Yeah, yeah. And it was like an hour and a half, two hours away. And that was after like maybe not two months on stage.
Starting point is 01:56:45 And I was like, damn, that was if. Like, I didn't feel right. I didn't feel like how I normally feel comfortable and poise on stage. But then, like, I say like when I started back, when I came back, it probably took like two and a half, three weeks to get back in like the groove. Right.
Starting point is 01:57:00 Yeah. That's why I'd be feeling this stuff to even call myself with comedians. I'd be taking too long the sabbaticals, and then I get back on there. I wasn't trying to cook you dope boy when I just wanted to ask. I need David's opinion on this. There's been a big debate for a lot of people in the battle rap community, which is where I come from initially. And people are like, what do you think is more difficult comedy or battle rep?
Starting point is 01:57:25 What type of comedy are we talking about, form in a set? Stand-up. Yeah, stand-up comedy. Yeah, yeah. Just stand-up, just basically stand-up. Being a good stand-up, a successful stand-up. Versus a battle rapper. They got to remember three rounds, and you can only say it once.
Starting point is 01:57:38 Because remember this, not, I don't know how familiar you are with the modern landscape of battle-rived. It's not like back-hand... I mean, when I did Rose Battle of the Commerce Society, I just had to battle a lot of it. Yeah, yeah, for sure. Billy Boondocks are all right. Hey, long live my brother, boo.
Starting point is 01:57:51 Hey, that's an amazing shout-out. I love that. What's the nigga name? The Jewish cat? Which one? He was on Wild and out. Oh, fucking Frack. Frack.
Starting point is 01:58:00 or frack or because Sharon's not Jewish? The white boy, ballhead, he'd be rapping. Oh, kosher deals. Cochardosha deals. Yeah. I don't know, bro. I think it's about, it's about equal in the same vein. Okay.
Starting point is 01:58:12 It's kind of like what requires more conditioning of football or basketball. They both hard. You both got to prepare for, you know, an hour, a player however long it is. And I think it's, I don't know. I mean, you got to remember like an hour-long comedy set. Well, and that's the thing. Like, comedy, like, seemingly requires a lot.
Starting point is 01:58:30 lot more like here's the degree of difficulty for my perception in comedy is you have to keep this crowd of people fully engaged and it's one person like you might be doing crowd work playing off some like environmental shit but really at the end of the day it's you and a mic and that's it
Starting point is 01:58:46 but it's just like Chappelle said like an hour long set well I mean most community some community not doing an hour like I do like 45 on stage on my headline and I do a roast at then where I bring people up but I mean bro it's like jazz there's highs and lows.
Starting point is 01:59:01 It should be a journey. You should take people through a whole bunch of different emotions. At some points, you should lose them, but then you should get them back, and then you should have moments where they're quiet. You should have moments. There's very few comedians who can keep you laughing, like, for a full hour, like, just back. Like, Tony Roberts is one. Cat Williams does a lot of talking, but he's engaging.
Starting point is 01:59:23 You know, the way he talks, the way his cadence is, it makes you want to. Some comedians just make you want to listen. like Dave Chappelle. Like, I listen to Dave Chappelle so much, I might not laugh. I'm like, damn, what he just said. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, you like thinking about it. I might miss the punchline because I'm like, I'm still thinking about the shit that
Starting point is 01:59:41 he just, a lot of, like, bro, one of my favorite comedians to watch is Anthony Jocelynick. Very, very dark, but that's what I like. I like very dark. That dry, dark humor. That you're not supposed to hear. Like, fuck this nigga talking about some pedophile shit. But it's funny. And like the tone of voice is saying it is, how he looks.
Starting point is 01:59:57 Hell of normal. Yeah. I like dark humor. So I like, so most people who have like very like dry, dark humor, there's lows and there's highs because they're telling you they're building up to something to hit you at the end. So you feel like there's two different styles. There's a comedian that it's going to be like constant laughter all the way through. And then the fools that are just going for the pop once every 10 minutes. Yeah, like the storytellers.
Starting point is 02:00:22 Yeah. I mean, Ali Sadieke does a good job. Oh, my God. He's amazing. and then breaking you, however long it takes him to get to where he needs to get. But I mean, like, that's why people follow a little different communities because they got different style. Ali Sadiehik cried in the middle of his set and kept going.
Starting point is 02:00:38 It was so powerful. He got a new special. And then there's a degree of difficulty in battle rap where it's like, I have to memorize, like, and over an album's worth of material because these dudes are like rapping acapella five-minute rounds of like Shakespearean level, like, intricate writing that if you're regurgitating anything anyone else has said before, I'm gonna call you on it. You're gonna be like held to the fire in that sense.
Starting point is 02:01:02 But the reason we're crazy was because we gotta get comfortable in the pockets of silence. Boom. I was gonna ask you about that. How do you find that because as a, I only want to call myself a comedian, but you gotta get on stage, but you got, that's the only way.
Starting point is 02:01:14 Sometimes I panic if they're not laughing. So like, but like sometimes like you said, you got to set it up and like really. So how do you find comfort in quiet? As long as they're not heckling, you have their attention. If they're quiet, that's good because they're listening.
Starting point is 02:01:29 But if they're fucking, hey, dude, you know what I'm saying? You better tell a joke real quick. Okay, but what about like the kill Tony share, right? You have one minute to get these motherfuckers. And if those people are quiet for more than 20 or 30 seconds, you're low-key not cooking, right? Like, I mean, but you better fucking cook with that punchline. Yeah. And I feel like you might fall flat on your face in the one minute, but then that interview saves you.
Starting point is 02:01:54 You know what I'm saying? I feel like he tries to save people in the interview. I mean, I see what you got. I've had several many bad sets on Kill Tony, but my interview roasting saves the whole. It just is what that would be the best part. Do you ever get surprised by jokes?
Starting point is 02:02:08 Like, do you ever have a joke when you like, I know this one is going to kill and then it don't? Or then you have one that you think it's just a throwaway and you do it and then it murders? I kind of write on stage more so like I normally have like a subject. I don't know I try to write like a topic every day you know what I'm saying
Starting point is 02:02:29 And would you say that you write Joe or do you just like get like a premise And then just kind of just build on it Like I saw a girl yesterday with blue hair And I just wrote liberal chicks have big tithes So I'll take that And try to expand on that
Starting point is 02:02:43 They do bro The bitches who Ain't gonna give me no pussy Got some of the best bodies And it's like we ain't gonna agree on shit But this bitch with purple hair Thick to the motherfucker Tiddy's bitch
Starting point is 02:02:54 big as hell. You're right, baby. Whatever you said. You got to say, gender neutral bathrooms. It's not so bad, you know? They be fucking bad. I'm like, God, damn, I know shame.
Starting point is 02:03:06 I'm not here, and he's not here, but I want to ask you in his, I want to know. This is a question I want to know. You've seen Adam enough on his content, right? You see how he like his sense of humor and kind of how he does.
Starting point is 02:03:18 Trying to get him to do stand-up. What words would you give to Adam if he was going to get in a stand-up game? Stay doing porn. Don't do stand-up He don't got the personality of a comedian I think he does I think he has that deadpan delivery
Starting point is 02:03:30 that could kill Too confident to be a comedian You think so? I know so You don't think he could be vulnerable on stage? He gets too much pussy Yeah, he is getting a lot of it
Starting point is 02:03:39 He got to go on a drowning And try to write some jokes What he's gonna draw from? Like where's the hurt? That means you're out too. I think I'll be okay No, you've been fucking way too much lately I'm saying for him to start
Starting point is 02:03:51 Like The problem is he's popular And when you start comedy, you're going to be bad until you know what you're doing. You're going to get the Brendan Schaub effect. So it's like, is, okay, say he sell out a 500-seater, and then he's up there terrible for 30 minutes. How many of those is he going to really sit through?
Starting point is 02:04:11 He's too cool. But what if you walk him into it and maybe have like his teeth, right? Maybe he has a seasoned comedian like yourself. And you say, hey, Adam, you could open a show you got five minutes. But I wouldn't. That's true. That's what you're here for. I'm trying to pitch my guy.
Starting point is 02:04:28 Why not? But I wouldn't. You wouldn't let him get five minutes to open up? No, he's too cool, bro. No, man. I fuck with that. He got to earn his keep. Ain't no passes.
Starting point is 02:04:36 Go to open mic. Yeah, we got to hit open mics. So he got to go through gladiators. No, but why would anyone... You can't... In comedy, you can't skip steps. Yeah, why would anyone do comedy without doing at least some open mics? No, so he does...
Starting point is 02:04:49 No, so we got to get it. So we got to get it. Which I don't think that one had to. But, but... And it would ideally be like... He better off doing like a porn star comedy show. That could kill. Just have all porn stars there.
Starting point is 02:05:00 Like a little spoof type of thing. I've seen him do that way. But it's just like, uh, not, I don't even want to say gimmicky, but it's just like, it's just like a night. Oh, this is porn star comedy. And the niggins industry come there. He could probably be funny with that. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 02:05:12 Like an avian awards, but comedy show kind of God. And book like two or three real comedians. And then he may host it. Right. And at least he got somebody riding some jokes. That's actually a good idea. There we go. He should do something.
Starting point is 02:05:24 should do something like that. He did it. He done it before. I seen him do it. Who Adam has? Yeah. Stand up. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:05:28 Porn stand up is the thing. It's the whole thing. Yeah. How was it? Wait, I never heard of this. This is a long time. There is a long time.
Starting point is 02:05:33 There's a lot of thing. That Ryan guy. Was it good or no? Was it good? Ryan Pownall. I think you make a good point when it's like these sexy porn stars that, you know, have these great lives and they're really rich. It's not funny.
Starting point is 02:05:45 It's not funny or related. Adam wasn't funny. I'm not saying. I'm not saying Adam wasn't funny, but I'm saying it's like, I see the dynamic of it. It's more like the girls kind of acting crazy and like,
Starting point is 02:05:53 but what if he finds the vulnerability of being an adult male star? Like, what if he can't get it up on his shoot? And he talks about that. Me, knowing what I know of comedy. And I'm sure Adam has a few M's, especially from the Jason Love video.
Starting point is 02:06:09 I would not go and try to do comedy. I think he should. Bro, I just know what I know from comedy. And I, if I had M's, I would not go start my comedy. want to try to diversify your portfolio? It's hard, bro. It's hard.
Starting point is 02:06:23 It's mentally draining. It's physically draining. If you really commit to it, you damn near have to isolate yourself from every, I've lost so many relationships, nigger. All that chasing comedy. Thank God I am where I am now to be able to make a living from it. But you have to really isolate yourself and you got to fucking be selfish. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:06:46 It's just saying like with Adam like, you know, You're like saying, oh, can Adam make it to the NBA? And he's like, no, he's not six, seven. You know what I'm saying? You can't jump high. You shouldn't be driving to over mic and the traits. Hey, but is it safe to say if it ain't been in a pawn shop that can't play the blues? You feel I mean?
Starting point is 02:07:05 I feel like you can only really be great at one thing at the time. You think so? Yeah. Oh, I know it. That's just what I believe. Like one thing at time, people do, people do, they move into different things. But it's like you can only be consumed by one thing. Like, you know, would you, would you start?
Starting point is 02:07:19 the porn career, obviously saying that. But I think it's a great comedy. You got to chase greatness in one lane. But I think that he's essentially doing comedy in a sense because he talks. So if that's all, comedy is just another form of talking. Situational funny versus intentional funny is two different things. Yeah, we have got a funny homie that might not be a good comedian. Every nigga at the barbershop funny.
Starting point is 02:07:41 But also like even like intentional funny in the context of a podcast don't translate necessarily to being able to rock a States. It's kind of the Drusky thing. Like, Drewski thing. Like, Drewski's the king of that, but we've never seen them do stand. There's several people that got popular from Pycast and then they go see their standup. And they're like, what the fuck?
Starting point is 02:08:00 You know what I'm saying? Like, it might not be the same. But that. Even Rogan, they get Rogan that critique all the time. But this is like been the biggest. But you don't see Rogan. Bro, there's some niggas who have elevated beyond seeing a person to where you're seeing a thing. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:08:16 And Rogan's at that level where I'm seeing an entity. this is no longer you know what I'm saying no I get what you're not good at comedy it's like an enterprise performing on stage I've seen Rogan kill I mean I've seen him perform and he's cool but it's like he's better at podcast than comedy
Starting point is 02:08:30 significantly yeah so do you think his podcast just got bigger than his comedy because he got into it from comedy I don't think he'd be doing them I don't think he'd be doing them big venues if he didn't have this podcast being this giant thing I think he would I think Joe Roblin I feel like them specials he'd be putting out recently
Starting point is 02:08:46 okay but that's like saying that Adam's a better podcast or then he is a BMXer or like I guess now or like then corn. Like he was a good BMX then he was a good podcast. But the difference is that Joe Rogan seems like his main thing is he wants to be a great stand-up comedian as well.
Starting point is 02:09:02 And Adam I don't think gives a fuck about being good at being X, you know what I'm saying? I think that for him. You see Rogan live? I'll see him live in LA. I see him. I don't know if it was a comedy store. I think it was another venue.
Starting point is 02:09:12 You didn't enjoy it? It was all right. This is years ago. I saw him and Tony Hinchcliffe and I didn't know who Hinchcliff was at the time and Hinchcliff, I thought, Flamed it, and I thought Rogan... Tony Kew.
Starting point is 02:09:22 I find Rogan to be a little corny and cheesy, personally. That's your, I mean, that's the thing about comedy. It's not for everybody. I was going to ask, when he smoked mensia. I wanted to ask you,
Starting point is 02:09:36 I think that's reasonable because a lot of people that are comedy fans, they got opinions about comedy. What do you feel like about this kind of like critiquing comedy era? You've got all these YouTube channels
Starting point is 02:09:45 that are like critiquing comedians and their specials. Like, what do you think of that? Are people's opinions about comedy? Because they'd be on your ass, David. Some of them YouTube channels. It's profitable to be a complainer. Do you not feel like that kind of just sidesteps the actual, like, reasonable critiques?
Starting point is 02:10:00 I mean, nobody really critiqued anything before we had the internet. So now there's a laying to be a grifter. Do you really, do you feel like it's a little, like, to call it out as grifting? Like, some of those critiques about these comedians are, like, very well put together. They're very thoughtful. Some of them are funny. So like I feel like they're valid But also like some are better than others
Starting point is 02:10:22 But sometimes it feels like comedians Take themselves so seriously That they kind of like refuse to take on board Any criticism about if their jokes are corny Or if they're not really living up to their reputation But who are you listening? Like okay And there's all right
Starting point is 02:10:36 If somebody put a video about me And like he said there's a few videos out of and they say he's not funny Am I gonna listen to that nigga? Okay I'll just be real with you though some of the, I think you're really funny, but like some of the videos critiquing you have got millions of views and they're fucking hilarious. Like the way they cutting it together and all that. But like, do you acknowledge those?
Starting point is 02:10:54 Like, do you even acknowledge like, I get, we're in completely different lanes at different levels for sure, but like I get roasted online. Sometimes I feel like, ah, they kind of got me. That was kind of funny. Like some of the critiques about you, some of them videos like elephant graveyard and shit. It's like, do you look at them and even though they're skewering you, you're kind of like, see the creative, like the creativity behind it.
Starting point is 02:11:11 Oh, I mean, keep going. I don't watch them, but keep like, do it. Like, I, bro, I don't, like, take like if that helps you or puts views on your channel like I encourage you to make it but you wouldn't acknowledge that like so you're basically saying there's zero validity to any of that shit and they're all grifting I would have to watch it I don't I try not to watch negativity like nobody wants to hear anything negative about themselves and I'm sure not going watch a video that's meant to like humiliate me you know what I'm saying because comedians
Starting point is 02:11:37 were very sensitive and if I saw that you know what I'm saying or if I sat there and watch it it'll probably put me in the headspace because we we as communities we already question ourselves a lot because we We do comedy from a broken, dark play. So it's like, I'm not going to watch that. But do you feel like it's hypocritical to kind of dish that out on other people and then refuse to acknowledge or even like acknowledge the validity of when people are roasting you back?
Starting point is 02:11:58 Roasted me back? Yeah, I'm a roast comic. I feel like it's not warranted for some comedians, but us comedians who talk shit, I feel like that's expected. But if you go make like a video like that against like Bobby Lee, it's like, come on, man. That's a nice guy. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 02:12:15 Well, Brendan Shaw was. brought up earlier, right? And to be honest, like, I'll just be real. I think Brendan Shorb sucks at comedy. That's just my opinion. And a lot of the videos roasting him are far more funny than any of his comedy. And is that valid? Because I feel like most people at this point, like, Bullse-Low keeps a lot. He's a multi-millionnage driving Porsche 9-11s all day long, and he sucks at comedy. But I mean, here's the thing, bro, like, talking about Brendan Schaub, he tried really hard to get funny. And he tried really hard to be a great comedian. And I've seen him, I used to be on a row with him. I've seen him destroy room. I've seen him destroy
Starting point is 02:12:46 rooms like have great sets um there he does have things that i definitely laughed at but also i know him and you know how easier it is to laugh at something when you know somebody you have more context yeah so what i will say is also that he was in a fucked up situation because how we were just talking about skipping steps he skipped a lot of steps and then within a few years he got a special well it's like rogan kind of did for him what doe boy is telling you to do for adam exactly but But he's why he's saying you shouldn't do that. You can't. Do it.
Starting point is 02:13:20 Yeah. But that's your mind's Brendan, so I understand why you. But I'm saying, you, like, it would, it, to skip that many steps, because you're supposed to go through the open mics, you know what I'm saying. Right. And then get your five minutes. Then get your 10 minutes and then get your 15. Then feature for somebody for a few years.
Starting point is 02:13:38 And then become a headliner and, like. And maybe get a special. Yeah. He went straight to the special, right? To get good, bro. Like to where you are like, oh, he's finding his voice and shit, that takes like 10 years. He was in a position where he was around all these huge comedians. So it might have been harder for him to find his voice.
Starting point is 02:13:58 Not saying that, I mean, I think he stopped now. We just did a podcast recently, but I think he stopped now. But, I mean, like, I've heard before that Sebastian Manusco was terrible. You know what I'm saying? But it takes time. Eventually you'll bomb enough to either way you'll kill yourself or you'll get better. So I just feel like he probably gave up prematurely
Starting point is 02:14:19 for whatever reason. Wasn't he thrown in the fire like a motherfucker? In the sense that like, Rogan's like, hey, stop fighting you're not going to be able to beat this guy up. I think he got a special. Yeah. I think he got a showtime special like his second or third year. Right. Which is like, bro. But then his next special nobody wanted, right? And he dropped it
Starting point is 02:14:35 himself and it didn't go down very well. No, before that. That special afterwards. Remembered a oh yeah. Oh yeah. On YouTube? Yeah. But like, okay. So let me yeah, I think so. But, um, I would say what's interesting is I feel like would you acknowledge that like really those comedy critique channels they kind of called Brendan Shaw about for what he really was and kind of got him out the way because he didn't really deserve to be at that level and Rogan basically planted
Starting point is 02:14:59 him in the industry because he was an MMA guy that he liked and kind of felt sorry for him yeah you need to stop fighting and you need to do comedy he shouldn't have been doing comedy like Rogan should have told him I don't you put the trigger pretty early I don't I don't really know his whole backstory because when I met Shab was I think like 2021, 22 he was already touring and he
Starting point is 02:15:20 had lost and I wasn't a headliner or getting any I didn't it was still I think it was 2021 and he asked me to come on the road with him and he was selling out every fucking thing and the kid was doing very great and whatever other podcasts he had so I don't know like his or I used to see him at the comedy store
Starting point is 02:15:36 when I was a door guy I'm like this thing big as he was You know what I'm saying? I didn't know much about him until I started working with him. So, like, he had a well put together hour. So when you had seen him perform, you genuinely, it's like, this guy's good at comedy. When I saw him on the road, I saw him kill. Really?
Starting point is 02:15:57 But also he does, I told you, I like dark dry. Yeah. Wasn't my style. And more wholesome. Right. But I think what he's asking is, like, even though he might have killed, we know as comedians, like if somebody has a great reaction, we know if it was still funny. And we could tell even if they don't have a good reaction, but know that it was funny.
Starting point is 02:16:17 I don't use my marker. I use the audience marker, you know, because here's the thing, bro. I see niggas who a lot of people universally find funny, and I'm like, I didn't do it for me. But also, I like a very dark drive. Like, I have a very specific type of comedy I like to hear. So I don't, if I see somebody go on stage and they do well, in the audience. audience is reacting the way they're supposed to. I'm like, oh, he's good.
Starting point is 02:16:43 What did you think when Kat Williams said, like, Joe Rogan kind of forced his little group of like five or six comedians on the whole scene? Did you think that was valid? I feel like if you put yourself in a position of power like that, you should. Even if they suck a comedy? It's subjective. Somebody's paying to see him. Yeah, because I don't think you could say, like, Tom Segarra sucks at comedy.
Starting point is 02:17:01 No, no, but I'm saying. Okay. So if we're talking about Rogan's circle, his immediate circle of the Rogan's fear. Okay. Whatever. Andrew Shultz, Theo Vine, Burke Crasher, Tom Seguer,
Starting point is 02:17:13 Shane Gillis, Mark Norman, Ari Sharman, Ari Safier. Is Henscliff in there? Tony Henscliffe. So how did Brendan get on that list? Because that is, those are the, like,
Starting point is 02:17:25 because that was his boy from the UFC, but then he told him a retire. I mean, here's the thing, bro. Like, if I had a powerful platform like Joe Rogan, I'm going to put my boys on. And I've taken niggas on the row with me that I find funny. And we go do shows
Starting point is 02:17:41 and the reaction from the crowd ain't there. Hey, I'm sorry, dog. I find you funny. Yeah, it's too early or something.
Starting point is 02:17:49 So you'll take somebody off the show even if you know the content is good, but if it's not working with the crowd, they can't. Well, here's the thing, bro. They might have five bad shows, four or five bad shows.
Starting point is 02:17:59 And now the club owner has told my agent. Right. And I'm not for to let my agent tell my homie. I'm going to tell him. Right. Hey, dog, I'll bring you back on the road in like five months.
Starting point is 02:18:09 Let's see, let you know. Go work on some stuff. I ain't going to say that, but I'm like, hey, I got to switch some shit around. I ain't bringing an opener. I don't,
Starting point is 02:18:15 I don't want to kill nobody. I don't want to extinguish nobody's fire, bro. But you don't, the smallest thing can fuck a nigga up. So I'm like, and I know like for me too, bro, like if a nigga I look up to, hey, you suck.
Starting point is 02:18:27 I got to take, that might fucking send me in a world win. So like, isn't there a constructive way to say that though? Like in at least being like a little bit more genuine to how you, Because it could potentially help them. Some niggas know how to perform, bro.
Starting point is 02:18:40 Yeah. Some niggas just know how to perform, but it won't translate in other mediums. That just is what it is. They don't have it. And that's a fucked up way to say it, but... Some people can murder a room but put out terrible specials, bro. It's just part of the game.
Starting point is 02:18:58 Some niggas put out amazing specials, and then you're going to see them just like, what the fuck was that? But that's like saying some people have great radio freestyles, but some people make great albums or some people... Side height of people. Prince. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 02:19:09 I ain't never heard a radio hit, but I'll watch that niggas all day. Right. And what you're saying, if I'm Rogan, would I platform my homies like that? Yes. So, Rogan made an interesting comment when he was kind of talking about the Brendan Shorpe thing. He said he doesn't read comments and that he doesn't think that comedian should listen to, you know, fans commenting on the social media post. And then he kind of elaborated. He has an entire vicious Reddit dedicated to his demise.
Starting point is 02:19:32 That's what I'm saying is he's basically saying, shop. Oh, he's talking about Rogan. I'm saying Rogan told Shob, you shouldn't look at the comments, you shouldn't read all that advice. You shouldn't listen to these channels that are taking you down. But don't you feel like to a certain degree, it's kind of like, Rogan's basically, you know, forcing Shob on the audience. And then it's like, like you said, if you were a real good homie,
Starting point is 02:19:49 you would say to someone, hey, this comedy shit ain't working out for you or like, Adam, this shit ain't for you. But it's almost like those channels and the comments have almost become the honesty that these comedians, I feel like they should pay attention to that. But if a nigger killing on stage, how can you tell him that that joke came funny? Exactly. He's a touring. But I'm just, I'm saying.
Starting point is 02:20:06 If a nigger's selling tickets and the audience is laughing. That's all that matters. How can I go tell a nigga, hey, bro, you should, like, how? Yeah, and then it's like, do you listen to the YouTube channels? Because I think this is a problem with a lot of those YouTube critique channels as they fall into all they do is critique. So at some point, you're going to run into where I don't have nothing to critique this week. And you have to start grifting to get content. And I think that's the issue.
Starting point is 02:20:31 And I truly believe. You might say somebody got killed at a taco stand. I think, Brandon. I think Brandon, like comedy plays on your psyche, bro. It will drive you crazy because you have a bad show, you have good shows. And I think if Brendan still deal comedy, he would still be selling our shows. Let me ask you this. Sorry, just before you said, one last thing on Brendan.
Starting point is 02:20:48 I feel like the way he went wrong is, even though you don't think they're valid, I would say a lot of the comedy critique channels and even the subreddit, the toxic subreddit, I feel like they had him in such a chokehold. And I feel like the one thing he should have done, and I always said, I've said this in some of my videos. but like the one thing I think he should have done is leaned into it and just said fuck it it I'm gonna go be rabbit in eight mile and just respond to and look at
Starting point is 02:21:11 and make jokes out of all this criticism rather than ignoring it and pretending it's not going on I feel like he should have faced that head on and I feel like the comedians like even Rogan he's at such a high level but it's almost like ignoring all the criticism and pretending it doesn't exist like you guys supposed to be funny like Brendan roast the subreddit back like you're supposed to be a comedian like
Starting point is 02:21:29 get your jokes off that's what you're saying but that's like the rookiness so that like him skipping steps didn't prepare him for that moment to fire back like these other veterans would do it's digital crowd work basically but what does that do like you're i feel like he could have saved his career if he did on that but he's also if you go on reddit you're playing to niggas that's not buying tickets mniggins that's not buying tickets be on reddit no i mean i don't know if anyone was buying tickets to bernand shit we sold 22 and we got a ton of people on uh reddit but yeah that's that's that's fair yeah they didn't sell many tickets to the no jop but none of them tapped
Starting point is 02:22:00 in i mean they don't want to see me and dope but that's But here's the thing, bro, like, I think the reason that we even have shit like that is because like for the first time in like human history, we're all so different. Right. Like what I do, what you do. But if we can find one thing that we can channel to talk shit about, even if you don't, even if you, bro, I've had niggas. I've had people like you're talking about the Reddit and the YouTube. I've had people watch them shit and come to my shows. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:22:30 Not like me and be like, bro, I just had to come see if you was funny. Yeah. And they probably fuck with you after that, right? Exactly. So what I'm saying is, bro, we're at such a different point in humanity that we're all so different that if we ain't got shit going on in life and our life sucks and somebody can give us a nigger who we can't beat up. You can't beat up, Brendan Scha. Probably looks better than me in shape, got millions of dollars. If y'all can convince me why I should hate the successful niggas, let's all pile on. Yeah, we all uniting for that. But successful niggins is not even though. Also, he has the same. problem is Adam like he's too cool. Too cool. So Adam is wearing his shot. Too timed up.
Starting point is 02:23:08 Oh, yeah. Mine is the fighting. I'm too busy trying to figure out how to be like a multi, multi-millionaire than to, I mean, it sounds like a good thing. If I was younger in my career, yeah, I would go on all these things,
Starting point is 02:23:20 YouTube and leave comments. But for, I mean, not necessarily you'd leave in comments, but it's almost like, I would do that if I was, roast them back. If I was looking like a PR kind of type of thing.
Starting point is 02:23:31 But I'm saying, if I was a young bull, I do that. So like I got my fan base and it's increasing and my ticket sales are doing well and I'm on a tour now for like the next three years. So it's like. So it's like an ego thing you feel like it would be an ego thing for me because it's like even if you do cut on my show and don't like me bitch I got your ticket money. Yeah. Facts. Let me let me ask you this. Do you find it as a comedian that technology is impeding on the ability for comedians such as yourself to organically build that hour just because of how everything is so microwave, everything is so fast.
Starting point is 02:24:03 Like, do you feel like it kind of fucks up the funct's way of creating that special? The silent majority, bro. That's what I would say. The silent majority. The minority is very loud through Reddit and YouTube. They're very loud. The silent majority who buy tickets don't even go on that shit. Like, bro, I'm on a theater tour right now with The Killers of Kill Tony, and we're doing like 7,000, 6,000, 5,000 tickets on weekend.
Starting point is 02:24:30 Yes, way. So it's like, come on. Who gives a fuck? if a nigga go make a YouTube video about me. Right. Bro, by the end of this tour, my kids ain't got to worry about shit again. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 02:24:40 So there's more important. Dave is not funny. Cool. Yeah, there's so many. Cool. There's so many bubbles in the world that people are existing in and thriving. I just try to stay in the positive.
Starting point is 02:24:53 I mean, niggas ain't going to like me. One last question I would have on that is Tony kind of went on Rogan recently, right? And he sort of responded to the criticism about his roast jokes and a George Floyd joke and stuff. And a lot of people felt like his response was a little lame where he was just like,
Starting point is 02:25:06 well, all the people critiquing me are broke and their losers and their careers didn't work out the way that they should have. But do you feel like, because even some of the stuff you're saying, it feels a little bit like, I respect what you're saying. It's like, yeah, well, I'm still selling out hell of shows. I'm still making hell of money. That's cool. But if we're just debating like the art form of comedy, like him kind of deflecting and
Starting point is 02:25:21 saying, well, all the people critiquing me are losers and their careers didn't take off. But like a small comedian selling out a small venue, but that has his integrity and is making comedy and art that, you know, they feel is pushing the boundaries. better than just, you know, trying to pacify the biggest audience possible. Like, do you do not feel like there's still some validity to that? Even other comedians critiquing comedians or is it just like, my jokes and my jokes, I'm not taking any criticism from other comedians, other YouTubers that all broke.
Starting point is 02:25:46 They're all, they're all irrelevant. I ain't going to call it. I ain't going to call another comedian broke. I ain't going to call another. I ain't even going to call it. I just feel like this. If I, I like the fact that there is Reddit. You should be able to get it off.
Starting point is 02:26:03 Yeah. I like the fact that niggas made YouTube videos. Go make your money. And if you got a fucking put slamming on my name, go do. Like, I genuinely don't give a fuck. I really don't, bro. But that's just my mindset. Like, I, I, my childhood rate, like, it conditioned me for this.
Starting point is 02:26:19 What I'm saying is if, if I, if so, I mean, I got criticized by a lot of comedians and everything when I had the George Floyd thing. And I didn't go out and say they were broken their career. I mean, bro, I did it. and now you got an opportunity to say your peace. And that's just how I feel. Like, regardless, anything I put out, whether good or bad, you got an opportunity to say your peace.
Starting point is 02:26:39 And I'm not going to go over here and engage in a battle with you because I say in my mind, now you're saying your mind. I can't disagree with your mind and I can't say what you said is wrong because then it opens the space to where it's like, well, what you said was wrong. How are you going to say what he said is wrong?
Starting point is 02:26:54 Let me ask you this. Is there anybody in your world that if they critique you or give you some criticisms, you really take it like, I respect this individual. Joel, when you say... What I do appreciate
Starting point is 02:27:03 is when older comedians like T.K.K. Kirkland came to me like three years ago. I had a nigga, I couldn't have had a more perfect set. You know what I'm saying? The proper breaks for applause is laughter throughout the whole 20-minute set. And he came up to me at not in front of everybody.
Starting point is 02:27:23 Like some comedians, hey, I'm brother, you're funny as hell. But you need to expand your knowledge. That is a great way to tell you. telling nigger, brighting your shit up because he said, the world needs to know you. Don't just make it for this group. So a follow-up question to that because that makes so much sense. Forget about the YouTubers and the Redditors and all that bullshit. Have you ever been on a run or had a set or even just told a joke where maybe you thought
Starting point is 02:27:48 it was funny going in, but afterwards you look back and you was like, I wasn't proud of that. That was hacky. Like that was below my own standard. All the time. Yeah. Because I, unless I'm headlining or doing a showcase for like agents or something, I'm always trying out new shit that I, and then I might say it. And it would be like, it sounds like somebody else can say that.
Starting point is 02:28:07 It ain't, it ain't like me specific enough. It wasn't your voicing. Yeah, it wasn't my voice enough. Like, I got a joke and any community can take it where I'd be like, my dad's Hispanic. So I'd be like, I'm black and Hispanic. My lower half is black because my dick is lazy and don't want to work. You know what I? So it's like, it's a cool, but it's not me.
Starting point is 02:28:29 Yeah. It's not me. And it's like, uh, anybody can come up with that. That's an easy joke where a nigga would be like, oh, he stole that. It's like not specific enough. Yeah. And it was just something I thought of like, my dick don't want to work. And it's like, I know we got to wrap it up probably soon.
Starting point is 02:28:44 But can we bring up that bison one, that video? Oh, that one last question before. I'm a huge comedy nerd. So, are there anybody that you have taken that OG stance for like TK did for you, where you've seen other comedians and you kind of said, Hey, man, like that you got to fix up. That ain't the one. Like, have you played that role too?
Starting point is 02:29:01 I feel like you got to be universally respected and universally funny. I don't feel like I'm at the tier to really tell a nigga was funny and what's not funny. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's like I'm not there. I don't have any, unless you're open migrant. I don't got no business giving you no advice. If you were working touring comedian booking shows, I shouldn't really be telling you nothing because we're essentially in the same little arena.
Starting point is 02:29:28 I haven't elevated and you can easily be where I'm at. You know, and I was just where you was at not too long ago. I've just been blessed to be on platforms that put me in front of a lot of people. But I don't really, I don't feel like I have the experience to really, I could be like, hey, try this. But I ain't going to really say that ain't funny. I just don't feel like I should. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 02:29:48 I feel like there's, I feel like in all, honestly, there might only be like 10 comedians alive who can just go up to anybody and say that's not funny. And you need to be a master. It's like another podcast. If another podcast on the same level as you, the fuck you want to hear from him about. You need to be like cemented to be like undeniable. And TK was, he's undeniable. So I'm like, oh yeah, I'm going to listen to this, nigga.
Starting point is 02:30:12 But like, you know, comics do that shit all the time. Like, hey, bro, try this. This may make that hit a little harder. A little tag here. Right. Yeah, that makes sense. That gives a lot of context to why some guy in his basement you're not respecting his opinion. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 02:30:24 You know what I'm saying? I feel like these are the questions people have wanted to know, you know what I'm saying? I really like the answer. Yeah, bro. I mean, at the end of the day, bro, bro. If you're able to be on Reddit and you got an opinion about me, make it. Continue to make it. Thank you.
Starting point is 02:30:38 I don't like I'm not in my final form. And now you're seeing comedians prematurely than what you would have saw him 20 years ago. So it's like, hey, bro, watch me through this, whatever this is. This period. This moment. This period of where we finding our voice and figuring out who the fuck we are on stage. And it might be rough for a couple of years. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:31:02 You know what I'm saying? But like, think about all the cool niggas. Well, you'll see somebody posts on social media. Oh, man, I saw. I remember, like, where Kevin Hart is right now. I mean, me seeing Kevin Hart 15 years ago. And now you get to compare that to, like, where he's at. It's too, I don't know.
Starting point is 02:31:20 You said up to start, like, pressure makes diamonds. So that kind of comes full circle to exactly what he said. And actually, just to follow up, Ross, I have a comedy nerd question as well. just because, like, you've had so much experience in the different venues and all that. And you're affiliated with this group. There's so much critique seemingly over, like, the Joe Rogan adjacent comics, like, particularly at the mothership when it comes to leaning on racism for shock value.
Starting point is 02:31:50 And you said earlier, like, you ain't feeling it like when non-black people say the N-word. You ain't feeling it when people, you said even, like, uh, growth. growing up like the white boys that was trying to be cool and they would use the N-word, but that's kind of like, I mean, I heard a Mexican saying and it was just like, once I saw that was what y'all do, it's like, okay, well, what the problem I'm about to do? No, no, I feel you.
Starting point is 02:32:10 No, no, no. That's a valid, that's, you know, coming from where you come from, I feel like that's clearly one million percent valid. Do you feel like those critiques and anything you've experienced over there, like, validates that, like, that people are, that those comedians are being a little bit racist. and that environment is conducive to just racism for the sake of racism under the veil or auspice of comedy?
Starting point is 02:32:37 I mean, bro, I think great comedy is when you can push those lines and push those margins. Louis K does it best. Is he racist? He said inward than a special. Does that make him racist? You know what I'm saying? I think racism is more than a word.
Starting point is 02:32:56 Like if a comedian, it's like people. people call Tony racist and I know a totally different person so it's like when he when he goes on stage and make a joke that people might not get it's like I know him right so I can't even look at him as racist and I know how he is so it's like I don't even with Rogan like I've never I've never I'll say this all the comedians we do have dark sense of humor but they've never said something to me or around me or around any other other black comics that was racial racial racially insensitive. I've never experienced that.
Starting point is 02:33:32 Is it difficult to like to the point where if is it for you to conceive of all right, this is another white boy saying the exact same thing? Like is it even possible for you to. Okay. Like let's say there is because you're like, oh, I know Tony ain't racist. He up there saying this. Let's say it's another white boy though saying the exact same shit as Tony. Um, would it be like.
Starting point is 02:33:55 Shane. Or like someone you don't know, say. Shane had a very funny joke when he said, I thought Spirit Airlines shut down how do these black people get here? That shit was funny as fuck. That shit was funny about it? I guess you feel like it comes down to like it, like you could tell when someone's being hateful or not.
Starting point is 02:34:16 I'm just, and I guess that's why people call me a coon and a pain. Oh, what's that word? Yeah, I'm sorry. I guess, bro, I'm just open. Like I, bro, unless you do something to like try to harm me, I ain't going to view you as racist. and I believe everybody is a human
Starting point is 02:34:31 and then if I do think you racist I probably want to sit down and talk to you to find like what the fuck happened you get to the root of it why you like this like do you really hate niggas
Starting point is 02:34:42 or you just be saying you know what I'm saying I would like want to ask that question like what's up like what happened bro why you like that yeah no I love comedy as much as the next guy but let's check out this bison clip
Starting point is 02:34:52 I'm tired of talking this inside baseball shit I love you guys I'm fucking let's keep it pushing in. It's in it. Uncle Lush went to Yosemite or Yellowstone. Had to.
Starting point is 02:35:08 Is there somebody on his head? So we see some people in the back. Just keep an eye on those folks in the back. Why the fuck would you be that close to a wild animal? He's sitting there like, oh, you're trying to get a good pit. He's like, oh, you, he's like, oh, you're playing in my face. You play in a lot. Y'all ain't ever been on vacation in them places.
Starting point is 02:35:25 Like, you ain't thinking that. He's like, man, you got me fucked up, let me roll and get up. Man, I'm about to go hit me a nigga. Man, where this white boy at, man? What, like, genre of animal is advice? I'm on your ass. I'm on your ass here, Frederick.
Starting point is 02:35:40 Is it like a horse, a horse type animal? Probably in the same category as like a, uh, uh, oh no, oh no. Oh, okay, yeah. They're Willie men, the way it was rolling. They're like, Alibrean. Oh. He gets him with a couple loop-de-loups, the old man. Oh.
Starting point is 02:35:52 And then he catches him, lack. Why'd he stop? He's trying to hit him with the reverse. You know, he goes around. Oh. He on your ass. He hits one more spin and he catches him like. Oh.
Starting point is 02:36:04 Oh. Oh. That old man is dead, right? Like this engine is like... No, no, no, he's fine. He's chopping it up doing interviews. There is no way he's fine. Bro, he shook it off and said he's good.
Starting point is 02:36:18 I swear to God. That's old school way, man. Yeah. Different bones. That pressure builds time is in it. We ain't built like, man, bro. Hell no. I would die.
Starting point is 02:36:29 I'd be out of here. Yeah, he's good. Born in the 60, bro. Oh, he's so a buffalo? He tried to outsmart the fucking bull, though. Look, that was ridiculous. Are buffaloes related to, or in vison? Are they related to, like, moose, aka Mises?
Starting point is 02:36:43 True. Yeah, shout out of my cousin. Yeah, they're in the same shot. That kind of family. Oh, God. Yeah, muses have to fuck. Like, what is there, like, scientific cattle? Because they're mammals, of course.
Starting point is 02:36:53 They, like, they kind of taste somewhere in between deer and burger. They're herbivores, though. They're herbivores, though. right they only eat vegetables right oh actually bison burgers smack but they don't but they don't eat meat yeah they don't eat meat most
Starting point is 02:37:09 I don't think we're pigs will they eat whatever they eat whatever they'll eat whatever they'll eat their ass they got a split hoof they do absolutely no no too much
Starting point is 02:37:19 fun facts with doughboy I love that fun facts with doughboy and they eat humans too like in the they eat whatever the fucking in the slop pot I think the bison was just spinning
Starting point is 02:37:29 for all, you know, like the white man has taken a lot of his homies out over the years. Millions of them. Honestly, hey, why aren't he running up on the natives? True, yeah. Like, at least the natives kept a few of them around. The whites pulled up and cleared them out. Hey, bro, you haven't seen dances with wolves? The bad guy tried for what they're.
Starting point is 02:37:46 I ain't even going to say it like that. He's stacking all the skulls on top of it. Yeah. Their fools had hats as far as they were putting BTA on the road. He's a slide on the real ops. There's like thousands of dead. And they left the meat. That's why Kevin Kahn.
Starting point is 02:37:59 And then was picking me like, oh, hell not. Like Kevin Costner. Oh, God, shout to him. Just saying. Yeah. Shout to all the bison. I'd be scary as fuck. Hell yeah.
Starting point is 02:38:10 Come on. You think you could shake a bison or like the old combo was like shake a hippo? I'm in the nigga with that y-h-h-h-h-h-knig. And I'm out of there. You think you could juke him. That's how I put you on the basketball. Okay. I'll put you on some skates.
Starting point is 02:38:23 But for some reason, you ain't bring your shoes today. I forgot my shorts. For some reason you ain't bring your shoes or your shoes. I got some shirt. You weren't wearing draws either, you said. I got some shorts in the car. It's lit. What a basketball court at?
Starting point is 02:38:33 You know I'll bust your ass. I don't think so. They call me the hefty lefty. This is what we got to deal with on the regular, David. We've been holding them down. You know what it is. We want to see me. Delusion or do-bole.
