Welcome back to the coolest podcast in the world.
You feel me?
You did not do it right.
Then you fucking do it, Gina.
He'd be like, he'd be like, it's a coolest, like.
He'd be like, it's the coolest podcast in the world.
Shemann, Adam 22.
And then he'd do this.
And he'd be like, and I'm here with Rucci and A. Z. Chike.
No, but Adam out of town.
Fuck Adam.
He's lucky he wasn't here.
He's got on that nigger.
Y'all on Adam right now?
I am.
Why y'all, Adam? Why y'all love my boss?
Because when something happened, my Instagram live started going crazy, right?
And Adam popped up on my Instagram live out of nowhere.
He usually always, like, used to be on it a couple years ago.
He popped up on it randomly.
So I'm like, what the fuck you on my live right now?
Because it was a lot of messy shit going on.
Then he followed me after that.
So I was like, so you unfollow me.
I'll hit you with the unfollow?
He had to.
Nigger, you hit me with the unfollowed, nigga.
That was the managers.
Oh, okay.
That was the manager.
Fuck your management.
Yeah. That's what I'm on right now.
That motherfucker got him went in there.
This district's, oh yeah, let me go follow Rucci and talk you to them.
Yeah, he's got some crazy shit going on.
He's like, let me see what Rucci and Chike doing.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't do it.
Well, y'all are doing something.
Y'all got the city booming right now with this boost.
He featured.
I'm shit.
A rat.
How's that letting?
We be out there all the time.
Like, I don't know.
I love the bitches out there.
You know, bitches, I thought y'all bought property or something.
Where in Atlanta?
Yeah.
Oh, shit, we ought to do.
Yeah.
We got a lot of other shit out there.
We ain't got no property, though.
How did the boozy track come about?
Shit, the managers.
Yeah, his managers, my managers.
Came together and they, like, you had nothing to do with Empire.
It was supposed to be through the label, but it just ended up being, like, some street shit.
Like, a nigga, we won a verse.
Well, that's fire.
Yeah.
So what's the difference between the project, bitch?
And a hood rap bitch.
Mm.
Yeah, I know that's...
Project bitch don't necessarily mean you a hoe.
Hood rap mean you slutting out regardless.
Project bitch might be the gaystah homegirl from the hood.
You know what I'm saying?
The hood rap bitch is the hood rap.
Okay.
But at the same time, they turn up the same though.
They still shake the same ass.
You feel?
Yeah.
What are they mean just going to jump shit like or suck dick right away?
She don't go shoot a nigger before she's up.
Yeah, why don't go shoot a nigger?
What's your favorite?
What's your favorite?
Uh.
I probably hear probably like a hood rat because they probably would just be too gang
bangy sometimes I want the project bitch for sure yeah it's too much gang bang she
game back she gonna have all the scams and she gonna be crazy but you feel me she gonna be
loyal and thugging that motherfucking nuckab I got one of the project things right now
shout out to you that's why I need bringing it up you already know what time did
giving her a shout-up that's my scam thing that's my scam thing that's my scam
thing I call it my little Hawaiian punchy you feel me yeah I think one of the
crazy videos I seen his fucking Shaq was on video some girl trying to hug him through
the back he like no don't do that oh yeah man it was a good time I don't know why she did
that she did the comfortable one too like this like no funny thing she really a little
slut bag so it was like you know I think she did that because she seen I was on
line she faded you know in the moment thinking shit sweet and pulled the room I wish I was
I see a nigger phone.
I probably was right there.
I'm ducking.
I'm ducking, I see a nigga phone.
Y'all watching what you're posting on Instagram?
Y'all are not trying to get up out of here like Boosie?
Hey, but, my mom, I just blocked my life.
You know, shadow band?
I'm back, though, but I ain't trying to get shadow band though.
You're right.
I am watching.
I'm going to watch what I'm doing.
But then again, like...
That should be shus, though.
Like, even...
Because most of the posts we do get took down, them be the booming thing, so that you're
looming things, so they be hating.
Getting took down, reported as bullying and shit.
Would it really be is how you type what you're saying?
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Yeah, like, it'd be what you're saying.
Right again?
No, no, not again.
No, no, no.
So I got that shit back.
When they took it down this, because I commented on the Ami's, like, video,
like, oh, send me this bitch, and it took me down for bitch.
It was like bullying and all types of shit.
That's what I'm saying.
Besides a lot, yeah.
Yeah, that's different.
What?
That's different.
We had a show, and the fans were showing their tities and shit.
So, you know, I'll just put courtesy of us, but then they got a nigga down.
I started to get you up out of here.
Y'all concerts and sessions have been, like, the most cracking experiences of my life.
That's hard.
Y'all be, like, if I'm not out with y'all and, you know, I'm with artists and shit like that,
it's all low-key, it's calm, it's cool and shit.
But y'all, it's like, I don't even know if a movie is, I think a movie is an understatement.
Yeah, I think we just be trying to do the most all the time because,
Like that pandemic shit, it was trying to wipe people down, but we were like, nah, I ain't going to let the happen. We're good, too. I ain't got my vaccine test today, but we're good.
Definitely, them shows. We got one. The tickets that just won up today for November 14th at the 5th.
Oh, yeah, the Rootry versus Chike show.
1,200 people. It's going to be live, and that motherfucker.
Yeah, special guess.
So is it like a versus, or it's just you guys rap being like the old thing?
No, it's a versus. It's a versus? It's me versus.
I ain't gonna lie, tell me what you got you.
That's fine.
You say you think you got me?
Oh, of course.
Oh, that's fine?
Yeah.
He's bringing his sombrero.
I'm bringing my fried chicken.
It's straight.
My dad just did me and said he got $500 on tape.
Yeah?
That's count.
Oh.
I don't know how I'll say he did.
That's count.
Y'all, when y'all did the song with,
I interviewed you six years ago.
And you shared a story about Boosie, the Tuskegee situation.
Did you tell Boosie about that?
See, this time, I ain't even get the chance to.
Because it was a lot going on, right?
There's already some other shit going on.
Yeah, we, shit.
And Boosie, like, his vibe, his energy make you forget about a lot of shit.
So, shall I do you know what I'm saying?
Like, we thought he was going to pull up on bullshit, like,
or, like, trying to rest the shoot or something like.
Some boogie shit.
Yeah, like, yeah.
came, it was like a nigga, like
one of us, like he was chilling.
Like, Sky, the director,
he was like, all right, let's wrap it up.
I'm like, Nick of Boossey don't want to go nowhere.
Keep shooting, what you're talking about?
Like, you feel me? Yeah, get as many
scenes as possible because he was like,
he was down the earth than the motherfucker.
We went through a lot to get that done, though.
Yeah.
We flew back to Atlanta to get that done.
We already went out there to shoot it
and something happened with Boosie.
So we would just have to like make a
do other videos and stuff like that.
Then we went back out there and then they said something else happened.
Then he finally came.
That's why we was kind of like, I wasn't as happy as I, you know what I wanted to be?
But like I said, his energy like made us like.
Did that situation at Tuskegee like make you kind of like a little nervous?
Like I don't know if I'm going.
I think like nowadays I'd be super confident now.
So back then, no, I was sure.
Well, tell what happened just for the people who wasn't around him.
I was in Tuskegee opening up for Busy.
and I was supposed to go on stage right before Busy
and Bussey came out like,
now I want to go on stage early, you feel me?
And so he walked out, we in the backstage
and I'll tell him like, hey, bro, they're not going to let us go on stage,
you feel me, because you want to go early.
He just looked at me and walked on stage.
So I didn't get the performance,
so it's like I really took a trip to Alabama and all that for nothing,
like type of shit.
And then, yeah, man, he performed two songs.
He performed that song he had,
They say that, I'm crazy, that one.
That's when he first got out and then performed, set it off,
and the fight broke out.
He said, I got my money, dropped the mic left.
The whole thing was over.
I never got to perform.
And Bootsie, my favorite rapper.
Man, Boosie broke his heart right before he could perform me.
He's like, no, you're not going on.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying?
Then when we did this, I thought he broke my heart again, you know what I'm saying?
No, he came through, you know what I'm saying?
That's fire.
That's crazy as fuck.
And then this tape is, it's, it's.
Independent or you guys are doing it through the label?
Empire. Empire?
Yeah.
My label came to some shit.
Now, do y'all fear cancel culture?
Because that album cover is a little...
No.
That's your hard.
A little tricky.
That's what we're supposed to do, though.
I mean...
It was going to be way sicker than that.
Explain it.
I mean...
Who was going to cancel us for that?
They cancel you for...
They're getting niggins about here for anything.
But who, though?
Yeah, it's some pro-black shit.
Because that's what really canceling people, black people.
Explain it, though.
Black people and the LGBT community.
They were canceling people.
It was going to be white.
The black woman was going to be sitting on white furniture.
But we didn't want to go too, baby.
You know what I'm saying?
Think about that, like the black women sitting on the white girl.
Yeah.
I ain't going to like.
I was one of the most creative artwork I've seen in a while for a cover.
I was like.
People don't do creative artwork.
Yes, because when I posted that shit, I replied like,
that this motherfucker is hard as fuck because it's different.
It's like, it's simple, but it's not at the same time.
That's all this idea, though.
That's awesome to say who came in with the concert.
That was my boy right here, you know him.
But it was just like poking at fun, though.
Like, at the end of the day, black and brown people getting fucked up out here.
What a cover got to do with anything?
Because I use a white bitch's furniture.
So what?
So what?
Did that shit too.
You're all giving black niggas new caskets constantly.
I can use a little white bitch as a motherfucker coffee table.
She's going to be all right.
You see she did it.
She didn't have no problem with it.
She didn't have no problem with it.
So why do you?
I got consent.
I didn't force it.
I didn't be the only answer though.
She was good.
That's how it would be though.
They're going to make a reason and just have something to say about just for it.
And in honesty, that's what it was for.
So like, even like, we want to get it posted everywhere else so everybody can talk shit and there's nothing to reply to.
Unless it's something like this.
I was being extra helpful with the white girl.
Like getting the table off her back, like giving her a break.
You know what I'm saying?
Just because I thought that she wouldn't like it.
But she was cool.
Mm-hmm.
You feel me?
Shout to her.
And they spray painted them gold, but you can't even tell.
Like, they just didn't want to make it seem like, oh, they butt naked.
And then I felt that like, okay, making more artsy, put some paint on them.
But you can't even see.
They still look white.
Good.
But it looked cool.
But it's just creativity, though, at the end of the day.
You know what I'm saying?
And just like.
Child to our white fans.
Yeah.
Nah, for sure.
They understand, too.
What?
They fuck.
Whoa, fuck the cover.
We got black cartoon with fat lips, eating waterbeder.
Like, we come from all.
Like, what's wrong with my creativity with being on the album cover?
I'm not disrespecting them.
Like I said, they gave us consent.
They was fine with it.
You see the fucking lamp.
She put the lamp shit on her head.
Then she's like, you know what I'm saying?
Like, they find, they butt-ass naked.
Like.
Have you all received any backlash for it?
I hope we do.
I'm waiting.
Oh.
Oh, I'm intentional.
I have, though, like, you know, but we don't be going to do it.
You know.
Yeah.
That's too much comments to go through.
It's really just to be creative, though.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
And it's just on the flip side.
Not too much of our show, though.
We want to say something about it.
We black, though, that's just how it's going to work out.
Do you guys feel like people think you guys work together too much?
Like, you got to have too much music together?
Like, y'all got to figure it out, maybe you're something to you?
Nah.
Nah.
Because everything we dropped, we, like, we got probably over 200 songs together that haven't even touched nothing.
That's nothing.
You feel what I'm saying?
So, like, before this, we was like,
all right, we're going to drop a hit here.
Me and you were going to drop a hit here.
It was not thinking like that,
but that's what we was doing, you know what I'm saying?
So fans kept asking, like,
every time y'all drop, it's a good song.
You feel what I'm saying?
So we was like, well, let's just flood them over,
you know what I'm saying,
giving what they want.
Like, I like to say,
it's a Christmas gift, a nice Christmas gift.
Did the album come from, like,
the success of Light It Up?
Is that why y'all doing a joint album?
Because it's lighted up was a very sixth.
I look at it as a West Coast anthem.
No, I wouldn't say that.
I'd say function in the hood is what like, you know what I'm saying?
Okay, then Functioning the Hood happened.
And then Rucci is on mm-hmm, too.
And then after that, it was just like, all right.
Yeah, because I feel like lighted up was just like me and him,
like no one, like figuring it out that we was good together.
And then when we did Functioning the Hood, we was always.
That, like, certified it right there.
That was like, okay.
Then he came, you know, he got, he in the hood with all the homies and shit.
So it was like, we, you know, we like this now, you feel me.
And then after that, it was just all them tours we did together.
We never did no shows, no sessions, no nothing without each other.
You feel me, we learned to literally live around each other, all type of shit.
So last summer during the pandemic, we was just doing so much, like, partying and shit.
I'm like, man, we're going to do an album, bro.
Like, it was too much content.
They ain't even been seen.
It was just too much content, you know?
I feel like Light It Up is one of them songs that's gonna be forever like just played at functions
family shit like just forever like in in decades from now that the song so damn fire
years ago I still perform it last yeah that I'm gonna fucking go crazy it make the crowd
do so like I don't I can't even explain the feeling but it's just like it's crazy when you
hear that and then chike come in you know I'm feeling like it's just it's all damn fire
that's what I'm hosting is one of the songs that I be doing yeah when I be hosting this year
because it's like a, it's kind of like a,
like, first day out of you.
It's like, it's like a crowd-eyed girl.
And then people know it and you're actually rapping.
It's not like, it's like, I got hold.
It's not like that.
It's not like just somebody repeating once,
the one word.
It's like actual rapping.
That shit should be at stadiums.
It should be when the boxers is walking now,
like all of that.
Like that lighted up.
It's like, that shit is fire.
What about when you're out at the forum?
That shit, you think that was like a big staple
in your relationship as well?
Hell yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Child to schoolboy, Q, you know,
just for showing us love, period.
Yeah, that was wild.
That's what I'm saying.
We did like, we do everything together, like,
every big-ass, like, you know, moment I'd be with bro.
That's fire as fuck.
And then with the school with Cusha, I know, Tcha,
I know, Tcha, you've been working with him on the Lord as well, huh?
Mm-hmm.
We got some shit in, uh, I went to work for like a week.
Got some shit, they ain't worked in on a few songs,
but they whole process is different, like, working on songs.
That shit is, like, mature.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
They really take their time
And it'd be like piece by piece
Like, break down the beat, break down the vocals
Like, so that's why I was there for a week though
Because it wasn't like just some old lay aversion leave type shit
It was like, nigga, lay your version
Think about it.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Oh shit.
That shit was the experience, so.
It's like, okay, go ahead.
No, I was just gonna say on my niggas, you said,
yeah, I heard about Woody Booot
with me a tight around the west.
Yeah, I think y'all like.
the best duo that we've seen in a minute?
Honestly, I mean, out of LA, there's just like, I mean, two rappers who got their own
shit going already and then come together like this.
Yeah, besides that, yeah.
Yeah, I feel like it could be some great duos, you know, where we're from, you know what I'm
saying?
No, it's some super duos where we're from, but most of them is like, they like that already.
Like, that's their thing.
Like, Chik and Rucci came together.
Alone Chik Rucci, going to do their own thing, can't do their own thing.
You know what I'm saying?
Like that's how y'all know it's individually.
But we come together and boom.
Like you know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
Like that shit don't work a lot for a lot of artists because the niggins.
Everybody wanted to be the star and like, you know what I'm saying?
But we really homies.
Like you know what I understand each other day by day.
Like we like say like he ain't talking to the art.
That's what it is.
Like you feel?
Yeah.
You know, I ain't talk this.
The same shit, we understand each other.
So we move way better.
And then like, shit, like I said, we're together every day.
Right.
Y'all seen I tweet that my mixed
text put up and said California
is lasting a line with producing the best
artists after like Chicago, Atlanta, New York.
What do you think about that?
Yeah, they ain't
not lying. I don't disagree with that because I ain't been
places and seen
how it is like
we ain't got no big homies that's really
and they're not seeing that
as personal like
oh, the rappers from LA just week
They just trash, no momentum, like, no motive.
They just weak, no ambition.
Like, no, they just sang off numbers and what's really happening in the South and Midwest is going crazy.
I just said that when we did the Dirty Globmaster interview.
I said that shit.
Like, L.A. had, like, early 2000s all through the 90s and, like, you know what I'm saying?
Shit like that.
But, like, we're getting back in there, though.
Like, slowly but surely, but surely, like, shout out to Detroit and all that.
Because them, like, our cousins, like, our k-haired.
cadence and our beats is very similarly.
That's why a lot of niggas in LA is doing hell of Detroit beats.
Like, you know, it's so easy because it's the same cadence.
So I feel like niggas been doing that, it's been getting our foot in the door.
Because Florida niggas is doing Detroit Beach now.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
But then again, we got niggas like, Roddy and Blass.
Like, you know, we got niggas over here that's really throwing it up.
You feel what I'm saying?
And they're doing West Coast shit, but they're not...
But I feel like they opened the door for people to listen to us.
No, yeah, yeah, like a motherfucker.
motherfucker like a motherfucker because we all linked in on the spotify shit and shit like that but like
rapping wise like like i even still get blue face credit because he was rapping like us and he's
opening the door though regardless of niggas not like it or not nobody's on that global scale
giving that l a rap like that l a rap though and making it a norm like okay i like this i'm you know what
I mean that's why so many Atlanta niggas in the door young thuds and the futures and the
Gucci man made Atlanta a norm like niggas this is a household sound fuck you're talking about you're
gonna listen to this like clean dirty don't matter like you know what I'm saying so that's what we need
like we still got the Rotties and the Blasters and shit like that but like they seem they're not
you know what I'm saying we gotta make our shit a norm us talk about spinning blocks
of norm you know what I'm saying real shit and I did cover the support of the
support as well. Like, you know, like, you gotta think about it, like, over there, like,
in Atlanta, I seem like, they all support each other, like, from, like, the oldest rapper
to the youngest rapper. Everybody fucking. I thought I bought up that big homie shit. Yeah, like, yeah.
You know, they big homies over there is the niggas. And they actually, you know what I'm saying?
I literally seen the shit with my own eyes. Not saying that I want to be bad bitch, but I, I've seen
the shit by all right? Like, like, nigg going, hey, you my new artist, you drive this car for the
day. You feel me? You put on this chat? You put on this.
for the day, you know what I'm saying?
But I'm just saying it's way different out there.
You feel me?
They want to see each other when we...
Come on out here, there, nothing like that.
Too much bullshit going on out here, Tony.
Yeah, but then that's, you know, that's LA.
Yeah, that's LA.
That's what I'm gonna say, too.
We got the ball early.
Everybody's going to, everybody used to this shit now.
We had Snoop Dog and the two pots and we've been popping,
so everybody got this stigma just, you feel me?
Atlanta in the South ain't just coming up, for real, for real.
So everybody wanted to tell you.
I had their time, too.
And they're having their time.
So what is it that you guys think that the West Coast lack?
Like, how could we get out of this?
What we're in, what we're experiencing?
I think we're doing great right now.
It ain't never been nothing like this.
Like, in the past few years, like, nothing like this.
Like, all the young nigs is coming up, like, regards to whatever going on, like, it's happening.
Like, it's happening.
And that's all that matters.
So I think we're on a great pace right now.
Yeah.
Because everybody winning right now.
That's all I'm going to say, have y'all seen the shift in, like, the change and support
and stuff like that.
Like, versus like the...
From like 2015 till now?
Oh, God, yeah.
It's a way different ball game.
Everybody going on tour.
Right.
And everybody bringing niggas on tour.
Yeah, that's moving in the city and that's fire.
And they've never been like that.
Used to be niggas going to go get somebody from another state.
Yeah, you feel me?
Just because they hit hot or, you know?
Yeah, what niggas even going on tour.
And then shout out the short line of GZ and all them.
You know what I'm saying?
Because them the only real West
Coast, well, oh, G's the only West Coast, Nick, I see right now that's touring outside the
West Side region.
And that's what matters.
And that, you know what I'm doing that before the pandemic.
Man, that's what we on.
We're trying to do Texas and all that.
We need Texas Day, a Utah day, yeah, a Boston Day, you know what I'm saying?
Like, for real.
Tucky.
Niggas wasn't doing that early, like, you know what I'm saying?
Early 2000s.
Niggas wasn't doing that in L.A.
They was, but they wasn't.
Now that's true.
And then, like, but even like the, like, I guess you could say, like, the local West Coast
shit is kind of foreign.
Like, I thought it was cool how Phoenix took like Peso and like swayed in them and it
was like, okay, come on.
Like y'all never been on tour.
Come on, let's do this shit.
And it was just something like, see, he didn't have to.
He could have took any other, like, I guess you could say bigger and more mainstream
artists.
But he took them and I think it just shows other people like, you know, it's like, it shows
always how it lays a little way more connected than it was a little before.
Even though there's a little more connection going on and shit.
She's like y'all talk putting together,
fucking Mr. Bean,
putting up, Mike and Coe.
You're working with different artists.
And Peso being Latino and being with Charlie.
I think that's fire as fuck.
Shout out of my little homie Paiso, man.
For real.
Do y'allet, um,
L.A. politics or, like, street politics
affect you from working with certain artists on the West Coast?
Yeah.
I mean, because we're from here, though,
if I was from the I.E, no disrespect,
but I.E got different policy.
You can't hate the I.
Nah.
It's just like.
They don't got our problems, but they from where we from.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I don't got no problem, I, but they just got different politics.
Like, they don't have LA politics.
Right.
They politics is they politics.
I could say, even if I was from the Bay, what people used to say.
If I was really from the Bay, I think I work with everybody at L.A.
I don't go over, fuck.
I'm not from here.
I'm from the Bay.
That means, like, we got different politics.
I'm from the I don't even live over here.
I wouldn't even, I don't even get mad at niggas for working with who they work with.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, that's, you.
But if you from you from you.
And you know what's up.
It's a different ball game.
Like, you know the deal.
Like, nah, if you're loyal, you're
fucking with that.
If you don't fuck with them, you know what I'm saying?
Straight up.
Like, I wouldn't even call it picking and
choosing. You're being loyal.
Like, you just, this, what you know, you gotta, you know what I'm saying?
Like, deal with this every day.
I've been dealing with this politics shit
and rap forever.
Like, ever since I ever became Rootie, the rapper, you know?
And then I feel like it's gonna happen regardless.
You can't want to be that niggie.
You can't want to be great and all that.
Expecting out to bump heads with somebody.
Like, because you ain't the only one trying to be the only one, captain.
So, shit.
Man, you know what you're having a conversation before I came over?
I'm like, damn, L.A. really good.
A lot of bullshit comes with.
I'm like, but us growing up here, to us is nothing new.
Like, I know people are probably looking in like,
damn, if they can't work with him or he was, he was race here,
or he said this or this tweet came out.
I'm like, to us.
I'm like, I'm like, I'm not going to school like this.
Think about you, like on some regular,
You didn't have to go through life, like, literally like, you fuck with them or you fuck with me.
You know what I'm saying.
So it's like, it's the same shit when it comes to music.
It's, you know, we don't even look at it as music because it's what's been happening
in all our lives.
See, who was kids?
You know what I'm like this?
And if you can't get through it on this scale, then don't expect to get no bigger because
it ain't going to get no better.
And this ain't going to be the last time it's going to happen.
You know what I'm saying?
Just maybe the first.
You're going to go through it again on a bigger scale.
Yeah, like deal with it.
Like, we know how to deal with that.
that shit.
You know how to laugh at certain shit.
We know how to get mad at that.
That's what I'm saying.
Well, speaking of that.
So we're getting into the shits now.
No.
What was y'all response to, well, reaction to the Boosie situation where, you know, certain
person then felt the way about Boosey doing the song with you.
That's something you laugh at.
Right.
You feel me?
Emotional.
That shit ain't nothing.
That shit ain't like.
I was like, got more attention, low-key.
That shit was on every blog.
Yeah, that was everywhere.
Yeah.
I'm like, boozy party looked at this shit.
It was like, what the fuck.
But then again, every blog, you feel me?
That's what we got to deal with.
Me and Tyler on Day Day Day Day Day Day.
Every blog is, what you call that shit?
Clickbait.
Click bait.
Yeah.
You bet what I'm saying?
Like, I felt like it was some bullshit.
Like, and then the nigger deleted it and then thought it wasn't going to resurface.
So, like, you know what?
It wasn't nothing a nigger can stand on.
Like, that's bullshit.
As a man, whatever you say, stand on.
And then you got a name for yourself.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
You gotta think smarter than that.
You got a Drake feature, nigger.
You know what I'm saying?
Come on, man.
Like, that's bull.
Nick, I'm telling you, if I had a Drake feature,
I wouldn't be worried about near another person
in this room right now.
I got a Drake feature.
Well, if my Drake feature wasn't working out,
then I'd be worried about everybody else for show.
So, yeah, I'm saying.
You gotta make it happen in some way.
Now, niggins ain't.
It was bullshit.
I can't give a fuck about that shit, though.
It ain't fucking with us.
It was good.
Nika made good fun of it.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
They can crack jokes all that.
That don't matter.
Is there any bar or, like, any song you think where he mentioned, you were like,
oh, he hit me with a bangor?
Because, man, I didn't hear you.
Nah.
Tite shit and Tike was gassing shit.
And I was like, oh, Tite coming with some shit.
That clear the air is a banger.
I ain't, you feel me?
I was like, God damn.
Tike went crazy on that motherfucking.
Nikas know how to rap, rap, rap over here.
Rap rap.
Like, and them niggas don't be on that.
Like, niggas just be thinking it's gonna be internet
and we gonna post how much money we're getting.
And bitch, we're talking about rapping, how.
That's how we even getting it is.
If it wasn't even know rapping, we wouldn't even know each other.
So that's what we're talking about.
What you all, niggas cannot rap,
nothing like nothing going on.
Niggas is half sleep rapping and I don't want to hear
none of that shit.
That was the whole real situation.
Niggas trying to say, niggas is,
Ravent, come on, man.
Yeah, nobody sound, on our end,
nobody sound like nobody in NACCamp,
you know what I'm saying?
I feel like it's a whole,
we don't even do the same drugs.
So that's where all of this stem from
being compared to...
And that comes from,
and the comparison comes from
of me not giving a nigga a feature
while he in jail because I fuck with Inglewood.
So that's where the whole Inglewood shit
come from, like,
oh, you fuck with Englewood,
you don't want to give me a birch
because of Englewood?
All right, fuck you then.
Like, all right, fuck you then.
I can't do nothing about that.
I'm loyal to who I'm loyal to.
You're mad at that.
Either way it was going to be something.
I have to pick my poison.
Either I be loyal and I deal with this
or I play both sides and did with both,
however I play it.
You know what I'm saying?
Either where it's going to be something.
So, you know what I'm saying?
I was just loyal to my name.
It's not one in LA politics.
It's no fucking way.
Yeah.
No.
You just got to pick with what.
what you comfortable with most,
what you're willing to take consequences for,
and I'm fine with that.
And that's how all lasts them.
And you feel me?
That's why there's no little stinks, stinks so loud, peer point in blame.
So did you guys have a relationship prior to him asking for a verse or?
Yeah, we did, because we were all from LA for real.
And that's why the niggas do all that.
We not know out of town, niggas, niggas don't, you feel, me,
niggins don't.
Oh, yeah, fuck them, ah, them niggas ain't.
That's why niggas wanna say something all that, because we really
from the land. Like, yeah, we had a prior relationship.
But that obviously don't mean a motherfucking thing.
So, you know what I'm saying? It don't even matter.
It is what it is. So for you, it's more like, I'm fucking with Englewood.
I'm not from Englewood, but I'm fucking with Englewood.
These my people. These my brothers. This is who I'm loyal to what I look like.
I can't work with you. Like, pretty much.
Yeah, same thing with me. He got on here and said, I don't know why.
She don't want to do a feature with me. But it's like, nigger. Are you delusional?
I mean, that was trolling, though.
Okay.
We know that was trouble.
I mean, that was...
I didn't know a lot.
Me and Gina were having this conversation.
I was like, I came in, like, I'm from LA, but it's just to people I understand.
There's like LA and there's industry LA.
So that's where in auto whole, like...
But y'all from LA, you're from LA, so it comes with the buster from the streets and from
the industry.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
And I'm like, so I didn't know the whole part of situation.
I think it was a reaction thing, bro.
No, if it was so is.
It for so.
And when Gina was putting him up on game about like,
and I was like, I didn't even know that.
I just thought it was, I'm like,
because I ain't gonna not, I would have,
if somebody was trying to like say like,
oh, oh, like trying to send me about like doing comedy like them,
I would have been like, man, what the fuck?
Like I would have fussed on top of way too.
So you know, like, I mean,
there are coming situations.
It's like regardless.
Regardless it's gonna be fucking situations
whether you want in them or not.
Everything comes with the bullshit.
Yeah, I get a fuck about that shit though.
We like, we really like,
like doing it up over here.
We ain't stagnant.
We ain't never been stagnant.
We've been going up ever since y'all heard about it.
So, like, it ain't shit fucking with us.
Did y'all, did you hesitate on dropping the, dropping the disc track?
Did it feel like y'all might have been adding too much attention to the situation?
Nope.
I didn't get that fucking.
I'll do it again.
My gaze right here.
I already told me, he said, you heard the song?
Yep.
I heard it do.
I'm feeling gas up.
He gassed up.
You know what I'm saying?
And that's one thing I didn't, like, I just, he could rap, bro.
So it's like I knew when he said that, I knew what he was on.
Like, you know what I'm gonna rap too.
You know what I'm gonna'am?
And niggas, I only did a this song because he, nigger embarrassed of the bootsy shit.
Now you know, trying to take the attention off and do this this all.
The song called Ingleweir, it's about him.
He's not from Englewood.
So it's like I said, it's like too much going on.
I don't even think they got the right, like, game playing.
They need to go back over their little plays.
Niggas trying to build their own narrative and perspective.
I was all right.
I was just a fan of them, then, of course, I'm going to believe everything they say.
You know what I'm saying?
So I'll go, fuck, I'm going to speak every time.
Ain't no nigga fun to say nothing about me in L.A.
Or nothing on a sneak on the loud and the pub, nothing.
And me not say nothing.
You're crazy.
You crazy.
That's what it's all about.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Niggas responding to fans in the comments,
mentioning niggins names and responding to those.
Don't do our life.
Like, we've grown man.
Like, if you really feel some type of way, like,
keep it where it is and we're going to see each other.
We're going to see each other just, you know what I'm saying?
Don't do all life for the internet though.
You know what I'm saying?
Now it's a whole show.
Now we're dropping this song.
We're talking shit on live.
Now it's a whole little reality show.
He's like, but it's kind of like, it's like, it's kind of like he mad at tight foot replying, which is weird.
I don't know.
Everybody else be shutting up.
Everybody, nobody else.
I'm the only nigga in L.A.
that's speaking out.
So when he said that like, like nobody else is.
Such and such, sound like bro.
He's the only one who spoke up on that.
You know what I'm saying?
And now I'm mad because you're the only one who backed your shit up.
You feel what I'm saying?
So it's kind of like what?
man, there'd be a lot of that going on.
Niggas just like sneak this in each other and keeping it below the radar.
No.
I'm going to let you say attention.
What fuck you talk about?
What you say?
Okay, then.
You know what I'm saying?
Just let me know what it is.
We ain't got to do no shit talking.
Well, I appreciate this tracks because we have no disc tracks in a minute.
That's rap.
That's a part of rap.
That's a part of music.
Yeah.
You know I like that.
I'm a fat.
That's going.
I'm a fed of that type of shit.
But I want y'all to keep it on the beats and not in the streets.
Yeah, but it's that late.
I don't like when it get too, you know, like.
I don't like when it get too, you know,
niggins is running into each other and now, niggas, you know.
No, it's a little shit.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
And then, yeah.
Come on, man.
Someone's been having.
I mean, but the new, the new wave of, you know,
is beefing is getting in the ring.
Degas doing the boxing.
We just seen blue facts with the.
Get in the boxing ring.
No disrespect.
Get a bag or something.
No disrespect.
You feel me?
No disrespect.
Those niggas that be doing that don't really dislike each other.
Come on, man.
Okay.
You know what I'm saying?
It's brought up.
Like, hey, you should fight him.
Yeah.
Then it's like, all that shit is clown shit.
All that shit is clown shit.
You don't see no nigger who really making it happen in the music getting in the
motherfucking ring.
Sausie Boyle-Bank.
Social Blame.
Soja Boy making it.
Man, don't do that.
We're on the shit.
I love Soja Boy.
He's not making it in the music industry.
He's not making it happen in no motherfucking.
No, he's not.
He's not coming out the gate 100 K of us in the first week.
Tcha, you let's put some respect on Solja boy.
Man, I love Solja.
I know Solja whole history.
Like, come on, man.
I love Solja.
I know what he's do for real.
But he, no, no, no, no, no.
Hell, no.
Hell no.
I don't even think, Solja ain't even got in the ring.
Yeah.
Man, no, you just brought him up, made me smug him low key for no reason.
My bad, Solace, she got the game fucked up.
He ain't even get no ring.
So matter of fact, he is making it happen.
He is.
Because niggas who getting in the ring ain't making it happen.
I ain't doing no little gimmicks or nothing.
What?
We getting it.
What?
Stop it.
I'm talking about beating your ass, spinning your block in my songs,
and just go hop in the ring.
on TikTok and fight you.
Hell no,
nigga, you crazy.
I see you when I see you, champion.
I see you when I see you.
Hey,
hey,
like, Drake hit you and he got an open verse
and he's on it,
you're not hopping on it?
You said, Drake?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
I don't think he'd understand the question.
What?
If Drake got an open verse,
but bro on it as well,
you're not hopping on it?
Oh, I'm hopping on it,
yeah, and I'm saying,
fuck little stinks, things are all that.
Yeah, n'n't my verse.
And I hope he coming after.
I hope I come after him.
Just so I can hear what he say and rebuttal his whole verse.
Let him know as fuck him.
And yeah, I'm going to dug he out.
Period.
We're going to get it real spicy.
Oh, God.
I'm doing that.
I'm not him.
I'm not getting on.
Drake, I can't believe you did a verse with this, nigga.
I don't know.
I'll never hit me up again.
I looked up to you, bro.
Like, you're doing a song of wrong.
Niggins.
They got nothing to do with me.
They got nothing to do with me.
I like Drake.
It ain't got nothing to do with me.
Drake don't know no better.
He's not from L.A.
So it's just rap beef, though.
It's not like...
Oh, yeah.
Let's clear that.
It ain't rap because the niggas can't rap.
Well, there's only one nigga over there that can rap.
Who you're hanging on by a string?
Who you fuck with over there?
Little fat boy, little fat girl.
He's straight.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
He's doing his thing time to time.
Like, you feel?
Little fat girl.
She did...
She do her little thing time.
time but like you feel me the rest of them niggins dokey the little fat girl he's saying
jake it's a girl from stinting no he's just it is he's saying jacket on the ground
no he's oh god all right what time is it yeah what dude that's the i think of food dog that's the
you feel me that's the only you know personal they can rap huh you ever thought about comedy
Nah, that's why I just rap, you know what I'm saying?
I don't know, y'all started to be killing me, boy.
I'd be like, damn.
Yeah, that's the only one.
The rest of the nigs is dokey.
Those niggins, can't...
This little broken rat?
You asking me?
I'm asking you.
Yeah, rapfee, get off.
You can finish this.
Jack, sit down, we got some work.
Like, no.
I don't know.
Fuck.
He's dead in my eyes.
He's serious.
He's serious.
Motherfuck.
Man, what's so?
Rap-on-in-so.
Right now.
Who my soul, rap-on-a-s-o?
I'm not the art.
I'm a media personality.
It don't fucking matter.
I like that.
You're a facts.
I'm a media person.
I don't rap.
Name is last mixtape.
Exactly.
Thank you, Lauren.
That was the name of the tape?
Oh.
I thought she was.
I thought she would love it.
Okay.
Hell no.
Come on.
This shit out of here, nigger, weak as fuck.
Okay, but you said them niggas not rapping over there.
So you're saying that there is a person over there who could get off?
Is that, that's what you just said?
Who has that off?
Who has that?
Like, he has that off.
I said the little fat girl do her thing, like, time to time, like, you feel me?
Like, she's doing her shit.
Like, I'm not tripping.
But that's it.
And, like, that ain't nothing like blowing me out the water.
nothing like that. Like, nigger don't got
no aggression, no passion, no range.
Like, he can't do nothing else.
Nick, can't fuck with me. You crazy?
Like, it don't matter where we take this shit.
Like, it don't fucking matter.
Only thing a nigga got on me is time and years.
Nigger been popping in L.A. since
2013. Like, you've been rapping to L.A. for 10 years.
You better be doing better than me. I didn't start
popping in 2018.
So, that's the only thing besides
that. Hell, no, those niggas...
My other niggas, dukey trash.
Drop this.
Dukey trash.
Drop the mic.
On my soul.
On my soul.
The only other nigga over there that was really greasy, very talented, like, really some shit.
R.P. was catchy.
On my mama.
On my mama.
He was going to really beat something.
That was the only other nigger.
He was actually harder than the nigger who run their shit to me.
Like, he hard.
On my mama.
Catchy was hard.
That's it.
Besides that, no.
Resless of the niggas, dinky, garbage.
I mean...
On my bad day.
On my bad day.
I'm talking about when I got writers blocked
and I can only do three, four songs in a night.
And I'm fucked up.
Still can't fuck with me.
I promise you.
No, no way.
I wouldn't even let it happen.
I wouldn't let it happen.
I'm going to go drink some bleach if I lose to any of them names.
I feel like I can't respond because it's like...
I mean this, though.
I'm not saying this just because we want, I mean this.
I told them that on my life.
I just find Dreco to be very talented.
I never said he was it.
I said he is.
But what?
He's not gassing me up, though.
He's not gassing me up.
Period point blank.
He's not going to gas me up.
If you niggas not rapping on the same beat,
then I don't see y'all going heads ahead and not rapping each other.
He's not gassing.
He's not gassing.
I need to hear y'all on the same beat.
I need to, I need it to be.
He still was.
I can say some bullshit.
My energy alone is going to get you jumping.
I can say some bullshit.
Bitch,
I'm in the party butt naked with no shirt on.
You just going to bounce because my flow.
Like, okay.
You in the party butt nigger with no shirt.
Versus, versus,
bitch, I'm butt naked.
Yeah, yeah.
Like, you're not going to, my,
you can't match my energy alone.
So fuck the bars.
Yeah.
You got to get this.
I'm not fucking with that.
I'm not taking nothing away from you.
I promise you
If you think I'm mine
Then go listen to the Drake feature
Well we just
How you how you
The Drake feature was hard
The Drake song was hard
Come on
But I was going to say something
So so
So the verse went with the hook
And everything aligned
Yeah bitch you didn't put no money
on these J pays
Uh-huh
Mm-hmm
Mm-hmm
We might slide on the niggins
I'm just fucking with you
No, we were just comparing y'all dish tracks.
Come on.
Yeah, we was comparing them and...
I personally don't like the Engleweird.
It was not a good diss song.
It was kind of ingle weird.
The thing is...
It wasn't a good diss song.
Clear the air?
Is it called clear to air?
What's the first one you put up?
You, like, I guess, like, as you say what I know about rap,
chike, gas, bog those songs.
Yeah, that shit.
They both of the disc tracks is fucking fire.
Yeah, yeah.
You have a way crazier energy and yeah.
And then the even just on some like this track creativity shit
where you didn't add it the the nigger vocals in there.
You know, like from the Uber situation and stuff like that,
that shit was fired.
So I was creating as far.
I'm saying though, the niggas is not even.
But I'm just not gonna take it from my nigger and say that the nigger booth.
I'm not saying he, boom.
I never said she was weak.
See?
I never said that.
Because I'm over trying to figure out.
I'm just saying...
When Sting team signed a female, and y'all playing with me.
A female run Sting team.
Y'all fucking playing with me.
My thing is, you feel me?
The nigger not gassing me up.
That's the whole point.
And the whole fake argument come from him thinking I even rap like him, like, or her.
Like, I don't get it.
Like, you get what I'm saying?
So that's where it all stand from.
Nigger trying to take entitlement when it's not there.
Like, no.
I agree to her.
Nigger, no, no, no.
ain't no way you think mm-hmm sound like mr git though oh okay i thought so it'd be some stuff
going on oh i thought so there'd be some thing going on in this office oh they be putting mics up
i'll just play i'll just fuck with you i just don't do that it don't stink
if it was stank and i wouldn't it didn't i don't see the similarities so i didn't know where
that came from but how y'all not see all that that
Y'all in particular, because y'all do the media shit, like, y'all gotta see that shit.
Like, bro, the little dumb shit they'd be going on, and motherfuckers just bypassing and kiss ass because a nigga's status.
Oh, you got a Drake feature.
He's just tripping.
He just off drugs.
You know, it was just a bad night.
He deleted the post.
Fuck all that.
Fuck all that.
Yeah, I don't see how.
Niggas bypassed that shit.
Like, that shit.
Like, even when it comes to be real, or even a real gangster or whatever you're calling
yourself, if I post something fool and I feel that way, and oh God, it ain't like you posting
it for yourself to see.
Okay, I put it like this.
Stand on that shit, bro.
DJ academics post something about both of y'all.
Yeah, these corn balls think they mean.
Fuck wrong with them.
Academics gang.
Academics gang, these corn balls can't fuck with me.
You know what I'm saying?
But y'all don't never get to talk with y'all in media.
So in some way, somehow, y'all meet up, rolling loud.
Good instance.
Y'all meet up and roll out.
Y'all going to shake that man hand, or y'all going to address that issue?
Yeah.
You're going to just being called a cornball, right?
Yeah.
Guys are calling me a bitch, and I don't know you.
All right.
I'm going to walk up like, hey, academics.
I ain't work at no jumper and let's get it in.
No, you're going to be like, nigger.
You called me a cornball.
What was that about?
You said we're doing...
It's a difference with us because, like, yeah, we do this media shit,
but we still niggas.
So...
What's the difference with...
I'm still a nigga in our rap?
That's not what I'm saying.
Oh, what you mean?
I'm saying...
We do media.
We, like, how...
Even, like, before y'all got here,
we was politicking on if we were asking a question.
We're not going to press it on no professional shit.
So we're going to hear that a nigger on some niggish shit.
Like, look, yeah, like, I told me, I leave me as a guy.
I was talking to Gina, I'm like, my politics were different than like,
hey, dudes, A, D, Tereo, Adam, than them because I'm Mexican.
It's a totally different ballgame.
And I'm like, but I understand where everybody's coming from, you for me.
Like, I understand you from Top Wayne and you adjusted.
Like, I just should have, but you're also not going to be a bitch just because you're a rapper.
Like, you know, and then, like I said, I haven't been in this whole industry shit alone.
So I did it when the whole shit was going around when it was like comparison, you rap, I'm like,
I don't hear it.
But I'm also not a fucking hip-hop and paying attention to every song and every lyric and all this going back and forth.
I was like, but also being from the streets, I understood, you know, where everybody was coming from and feeling their issues.
But we're not, like, us being media people, but we're actually from L.A.
With us is different.
I feel.
I feel, I feel, when you feel some type of way about when, like, somebody that just does media and it's like a bitch and it's been to just commented on the shit, like, nah.
Like, I know.
Like we were debating about asking this question.
Because you feel me like they was raised just like how we were raised.
You feel me?
Like you weren't raised, we know bitch and that's-
Even- You feel me like that's a good thing like shit.
Even down to we can break this shit down on some real LA shit.
I know what's up.
I know what's going on.
You feel me?
But to everybody else is it's just rap stuff.
Like I said, when he said, I don't know why Root you don't want to do some with me.
We know that nigga trolling.
We know him posting you on your birthday was trolling.
Like, you know, like so we.
We get it, but when we get media, we got to act like, oh, so hard.
So then it's like, I don't mean to cut you up, but it comes to that, and then it's like, all right.
You know what I'm saying?
How many times a nigga go, you feel me?
Like, a nigga can't ignore it.
Nick can take the higher horse and be humble and like, all right, you know what I'm saying?
I ain't going to respond.
Let me not feed into it.
How many times are you going to do that?
No, fuck that.
How many times are you going to do that?
Yeah, no, it ain't no, it doesn't.
Look, look.
I'm a judge.
I'm just.
I understand.
I understand.
I literally ask that, you got to think about it, like, I don't respond to shit.
You for what I'm saying?
And I literally been asked that, you know what I'm saying?
But I don't have no problem with responding to it.
Right, right, right, right.
Which is why when he doing it, I don't even got to do it because I'm right here, crunch time.
But that's why I'm even saying that I know how far shit can go.
So that's why I'm saying, I'm even appreciating that y'all doing it on some music shit
and it's still clowning and it still being funny and still entertaining.
Because it could go, y'all don't have to say nothing.
Nobody has to say nothing.
It's not going to go nowhere.
That's what I keep saying.
It's not going to the internet, and it's not going nowhere.
And that's great.
That's great.
You need to stay right here on the surface, on the beats, not in the streets, and that's it.
That's great.
On the beach, that's the street.
Shout our courtesy of motherfucking us.
Yeah, courtesy of us coming out.
