I was going to say, you already know what I was about to say,
but I'm going to just go ahead and say coolest podcasts in the world.
And today we got my man, Slink Johnson.
What a do, Sharp.
What's Hadn P? How you doing?
What the hell going on, man?
Talk to me.
Oh, man, everything's going on.
I'm feeling splindifference as a motherfucker.
You know what I'm talking about you.
You got a warm and viting situation going on here.
You know what I'm talking about something worthy of a player like myself, man.
And I appreciate the, you know, I appreciate the invitation, man.
Thanks, Sharp.
Most definitely.
So talk to me, man.
What's been going on lately, man, in your life?
Oh, we're going on.
Oh, man.
Everything has been going on, Sharp.
You know, your boys are alive.
I'm here, man.
You know what I'm talking about?
Skies to the Limit, man.
Got movies coming out and things of that nature.
You know what I'm talking about?
And just, you know, just trying to make something out of nothing to keep on moving.
You feel me?
Yeah.
Let's talk about some of the films that you were just recently in,
Man, I saw you in a space jam.
I saw you at a something.
And it was a funny cut, too, where you played a security guard, I believe, in the boot.
Absolutely, man.
Yeah, I had a nice little role in Space Jam.
It was real quick, real easy.
And people asked me about that.
They're like, why you didn't tell me you was in the movie?
I'm like, nigger, it was one scene.
I go talking too much.
They'll fuck around and cut my shit.
So you know what I'm talking about it.
You know, I was just a surprise to see it, you know, when it came out.
But, you know, I'm happy nonetheless and thankful nonetheless.
That's shout out to Malcolm Lee,
director of Space Jam, man.
He reached out to me, man.
He reached out to me, man.
He reached out to me partner one time.
I say love me down one time.
Love me down one time.
Ain't nothing wrong with loving me down.
You know what another man to love you down.
Hey, man, you said that.
I'm talking to the people.
When I say love me down,
love me down has no sexual connotation at whatsoever.
It's a financial connotation.
You know what I'm talking about?
So when I tell you,
the L.M.D. 1X.
You know, I'm talking about? You know, feel free to hit my
cash out, man, dollar sign, Slink Johnson,
because that motherfucker don't never close. Love me down.
Yeah, I won't, you know, in that regard,
hell yeah, I want love from a man. I want love from a woman.
You know what I'm talking about? Love me down and my cash app, my nigga,
and it's all good.
Let's talk about some other things that you know,
that you've done in the past that's, you know, brought you to where you had today.
Man, I have seen that you had did, you was Lamar Davis on GTA.
you had did the voices for that, am I correct?
Yeah, I did the voice of Lamar Davis.
I'm the voice and the likeness of that wild-ass nigga.
You know what I'm saying?
So, yeah, that was definitely a wonderful opportunity, man.
Thankful to do that, man.
Biggest video game in history, man.
Most definitely, man.
They ain't dropped one in fucking what.
It's been out for the same one's been out for like 15 years.
They just keep adding shit.
My nigga, they keep adding shit.
And that's the thing.
Nigger, why I make another one when they keep adding shit?
You know what I'm talking about?
You can just add some shit to this one.
You nigg is still for the buy.
So, you know what I'm saying?
It's dope.
So, you know, that was a wonderful look, man.
And, you know, it was a wonderful opportunity, man.
Shit, biggest entertainment property in history that big anything,
as far as entertainment goes, is the biggest one in history.
You know what I'm talking about?
Yeah.
So you, did you still get money from that today?
Or was it just like a flat rate?
Did y'all know what was going to blow?
I mean, because GTA's always been popular, man.
It's always been a popular-ass game.
So, you know, to see it, you know, go this long, you know,
I don't know if they still cutting checks around that motherfucker.
No, they ain't cutting no checks and they need to.
So y'all petition rock star games and tell the motherfuckers,
you know, to love Slink Johnson down one time.
You know what I'm talking about?
Love me down one time.
You know what I'm talking about if y'all really, you know,
Lamar and that game in that game in particular, you know,
is, you know, it raised some niggas.
Yeah.
You know what I'm talking about?
How'd you land something like that?
Oh, man.
DJ Pooh.
DJ Pooh.
Shout out to DJ Pooh, man.
Shout out to my man.
man, DJ Pooh, man.
That's a real one right there, man.
Much love to DJ Pooh for showing your boy opportunity, man.
You know what I'm talking about?
Seems like he's done a lot of shit with, you know, black entertainment, you know,
and just producing things, even behind the scenes, man.
Like, you know, he's done fucked with a few movies.
Like, I think he helped do the wash.
Quite a few movies.
Yeah, quite a few movies.
Yeah.
So, you know, definitely Poole is one of the cornerstones of our culture.
Yeah.
If you ask me, DJ Poo as an individual is a cornerstone of the culture.
and I respect him for that man
Poo's had his hand in a whole lot of stuff
and he's driven the culture
you know he's had his hand and driving the culture
so shout out to DJ Poo in a real
way man, that's a real one right there
I fuck with him man and I liked all the films he
ever been in man you know and you know what
I liked about him was because he
he even played roles in the shit
that he was making you know what I'm saying he didn't
give a fuck him and Ice Cube you know they did
shit like that so you know but that's
neither here nor there you know that's a beautiful
thing but let's talk about you man
But, you know, you're doing the,
you're still doing the comedian thing?
You still?
Absolutely, man.
I'm doing a stand-up comedy,
uh, three, four nights a week,
talking shit, swall and spit.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
I got a whole lot of, uh, uh, a trauma.
You know what I'm saying?
To unload.
Let's talk about it.
You know, I got a whole lot of trauma, man.
Talk to me.
You know, the bitch thinks she's more of a man
than me because her shoulder was water than mine.
I'm saying, like, bitch, so what?
You know what I'm talking about?
Bitch, because it's because you use my clippers
more than I do bitch so mean.
Bitch, I'm still, you know what I'm saying?
in this house, bitch.
You know what I'm saying?
There's a lot of trauma I'm going through.
Hey, man.
Hey, man, come here and relax.
Hey, man, let's just go ahead.
Let's play, man, pour it out, man.
What's been going on?
I ain't fucking with you, Sharp.
Why not?
I ain't fucking with you, Sharp.
You like Hannibal Lecter.
You're fucking around talking,
he doesn't hung itself or something.
He doesn't make some money,
or he'd have made.
Come here, Clettteridge.
Sharp, you're a very great speaker.
You're a master orator, brother.
You know, in the words of the great Snoop Dog,
you're something like, what do you say, a pastor, a priest or a psychologist, a counselor, a pastor,
you know what I'm saying?
Hopefully I get some money like that, man, because, you know, one day, you know,
I'm going to be there, hey, man, I heard they don't pay no taxes.
Oh, man, is that right?
Churches are pastors, man, don't pay no taxes, man.
You ain't got to, man, you can't charge you know, it's religion.
That's fucked up because I go to churches and give me an A-piece
and they charge me taxes on that shit all the time.
That's some bullshit.
You know what I'm talking about?
That's some bullshit.
So when did you get into, you know, being it,
when did you feel like you wanted to be a comic, man?
When did you feel like you want to do stand-up?
And, you know, when did you feel like you was a funny guy?
I felt like I was a funny guy from about seventh grade.
Because it comes from within first.
You gotta feel it before you.
Absolutely.
Just wanna say, you know, anybody else can say it for you, right?
You gotta feel that on the inside, man.
Absolutely.
Eddie Murphy's first two stand-up specials,
raw and delirious kind of, you know, brought my attention
to stand-up comedy.
However, I wouldn't really, you know, again,
I was like, damn,
that's dope. I would love to do that, but I never
thought like, okay, I'm gonna work towards it.
You know what I'm saying? He's just somebody I idolized.
But I always been a funny guy to class clown
and things of that nature. And as I got older,
you know, my first, you know, my first mind
was on hip hop and rapping. You know what I mean?
Was it any good? Yeah, damn right. I'm one of the best.
I'm one of the motherfucking best.
Tell them where they can find your music at right now.
You find me on Apple, iTunes, all that shit, man.
You might find a few songs for me, man.
Slink Capone.
I did a lot of work with Too Short back in the days.
You know what I'm saying?
That's why I made my interest into the...
Any songs by Too Short that you might have featured on that might be popular today?
I know you love her.
You know what I said?
Check out, I know you love her from the Woo Soundtrack.
You know what I'm saying?
I know you love her, nigger.
I know you love her, nigga.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about, man.
You're all right with me, man.
I don't care what the niggas say about you at the gas station.
Yeah, he all right.
Yeah, he's all right.
Shout out to Yuri, man.
Fucks with you.
Yeah, if I fuck with Yuri last,
I grew your hair or something, didn't you?
Yeah, that's the fuck,
Yuri, you motherfucker.
Fuck you, Yuri, you good?
You good?
Yeah, you still got them, um,
body lice he was telling us about?
Body life.
Uri.
Nasty, motherfucker.
Yri is a freak, man.
You better stay off a fig,
Yeri.
Go fuck around,
catch something.
You can't get rid of.
That nigga got a fucking,
a club, a figo of club card.
He gets a discount.
Now I'm fucking with you.
you're, it's good.
So, you're gonna fucking
around, poison, nigger water.
So back to your
upbringing and you
you know, figuring out of that, man,
shit, it was a funny motherfucker, fuck it, man.
This is what I'm about to pursue.
What did, what, what came next to there?
What, what hurdles?
Hold on, hold on.
I'm passing this to Shaybaby, we're going to smoke yours.
Yeah, man, shut out.
We're going to smoke.
We don't smoke mine, huh?
You take that.
We're going to smoke here later.
It's a long pass, so I'm just, you know,
saying I don't want to have to be getting up
but I'd rather grace the screen
with some of you real quick. You know what I'm
talking about? Oh, you just trying to let him know
man, you got it. Hey man, check this out
man, it ain't went nowhere. I see what you did.
You did? Yeah.
Yeah. So back to it
man, you know, like what
hurdles, man, you know, did you see any hurdles after that?
Because we kind of stopped in the middle of the story.
Yeah, man, there was a lot of hurdles, man.
Entertainment, man, ain't all what you, you know what I'm saying.
For every rapper, actor, singer
you see, it's
A million more at the door trying to get on.
So just understand that, man.
And things didn't quite work with hip hop,
and that's how I wanted them to.
You know what I'm saying?
And, you know, but I've always been this outgoing type of dude.
I've always been a class clown.
I've always been an actor of sorts, you know.
And back in 93, I started doing sketches with a good friend of mine
by the name of Jason Van Veen, who was a film student at the time.
And we was doing them sketches and shit.
And I wasn't tripping because I was rapping,
but I was just doing the sketches with them because it was my friend.
and, you know, I'm hanging with my friends clowning, you know,
just, you know, hamming it up for the camera and shit,
doing shit.
And, you know, that was in the infancy of the Internet age.
And we had a couple of sketches that made it to the Internet,
like, as it, you know, became a thing
and kind of got lost in the sauce,
but thankfully, you know, some, you know,
they kind of became some cult hit videos and shit.
Yeah.
And through that friend, I met Aaron Magruder,
and through that meeting with Aaron McGruder,
I met DJ Poole
and all that stuff kind of got mixed together.
You know, I'm, you know, black Jesus is a thing.
Yeah.
Not quite a TV show yet because, you know,
Black Jesus came from me working with Aaron.
I was doing some sketches with him.
And I think that he, you know,
he took a liking to my personality.
He saw something in me that exemplified this character.
And, you know, he came to me one day.
He asked me, yo, how would you like play Black Jesus?
I'm like, hell yeah, we was already doing sketches.
And Jesus was a sketch as well at first.
you know what I mean?
And it was part of what, it was part of a show.
So this was kind of like an accident, maybe?
Like it just kind of got popping on accident.
Y'all just tried it in blue.
That was, that was God.
That was ordained by God.
I just walked into it like I was supposed to.
But, yeah, if you want to say it was an accident in regards to, it wasn't a conscious effort.
Like, yo, I know niggas who say, I'm going to be an actor and they go take headshots
and acting classes and, you know what I'm saying, go through all the things.
my hurdles weren't necessarily those hurdles.
My hurdles were my own, you know, being, you know,
my own fucked up ways of thinking, you know what I'm saying,
involving myself in bullshit I need to be involved in and all kinds of shit.
So those were my hurdles.
I think had I not been, you know, so caught up in bullshit,
I probably would have been further or this shit would have happened faster.
But it definitely was something that's supposed to happen for me.
What bullshit would that pertain to, you know,
because bullshit, you know, that shit rains,
you know, it stretches out to a lot of shit.
So let's dig into that a little bit.
Like, what did you feel like, you know,
was one of the most toughest times of it
that you had to really come out of?
Or you felt like, damn, I wasn't going to come out
this shit at all.
Or you just felt like, hey, man,
this shit's just smooth sailing for me.
I didn't even think twice about it, man.
I knew it was happening and went right through.
Shark, man.
It's like, you know,
a nigga went through the same shit
that niggas go through.
You know what I'm saying?
That niggas on South of Wilson are going to go through.
That niggas in any ghetto,
any neighborhood going to go.
go through. Except I think, you know, again, I'm blessed by God's divinity and its protection.
I'm smart. You know what I'm saying? I'm outgoing. I'm handsome as a motherfucker. You know what I'm saying?
I'm sorry most guapo de todos. Me amos el verga de burro. I have more grand verga de
of todos. In Halisco, me amos is El Padrote de Kalle. Yeah. That shit sounded like a straight
Telemundo news station. I just had let them know. You just straight busted down,
Ptolemundo, shout out to Telemundo.
Tellumundo.
You know, Sharp, I'm just saying.
Did you do the voice secretly, man?
Is you over there?
Man, look here.
I'm telling me, you over there working on them people channel, man, low key.
Man, look here, Las Mukheras.
Mooka.
Come on, man, get at me, man.
I love that shit.
But you know, Sharp, it was just, just bullshit, man.
You know what I'm saying?
They caught up in the streets.
And I always like to say this, man, you know,
because some niggas get on this thing
and portray super thugged, super.
I wasn't no suit.
I had one foot in the streets
and the other foot in real life
and, you know, things of that nature.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
I like to say that I played with the streets.
I didn't get burned.
I got singed.
I got sins like a motherfucker.
I did my little jail time.
My little young jail time.
I did some Y.A. time.
I did about three years in Y.A.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
You know, a few little hiccups here and there
as an adult, but you know,
they stuck me in that county jail for like five months,
nigger.
Right when I was doing GTA 5, nigga.
right when GTA 5
I had just started filming that shit
I was on
I'm you know doing my thing in the streets
trying to make me some money
got pulled over got cracked
you know what I'm saying
they ran in the nigga crib
and found the jackhammers and shit
you know what I'm talking about
and it was just a horrendous ordeal
I had a four year joint suspension
from some other shit already
so I'm in the motherfucker
I'm in there with a new beef
jack hammers and tree
and you know what I'm talking about
man I thought it was over man
I had just started doing GTA 5
my life was like, come on man, what the fuck?
And I, yeah.
You ever notice that every,
it happens like that every time.
A person gets going with something good
or something that's about to be life-changing
happens to them.
They end up getting sucked back into some bullshit
or some shit ends up happening
that sits there and blocks them blessings.
Because I feel like had you had been out, man, shit,
you probably would have gotten, you know,
being able to catch that wave and do a whole lot more.
Yeah, man, but you know,
I think God saved my life.
It was time.
You know what I'm saying?
He saved my life.
He set me down for a minute.
You know what I'm saying?
I held up the game.
They was trying to find another nigga to take my part.
They was waiting for me, waiting for me, waiting for me.
Then God opened the doors and the nigger walked out and completed the GTA 5, and that was a great thing.
Then I had to talk with Aaron McGruder because that was right before Black Jesus was about to pop.
And Aaron had came and got in me like Puffy did Biggie.
Like, look here, nigga.
Now, if you want this shit, you're going to have to leave that bull shit.
alone. Right. And God
damn it I wanted it and I left that
bullshit alone. Nigg was out here short
on my mama couch. A single
dad I had to raise my daughter on my
mama couch, nigga over here hurting
nigga, didn't know what to do, don't want
to work nobody job, I can't be
out here doing shit. You know what I did
Sharp? I went out there and recycled cans
nigger. I went out there and got my
dog ass up at 5 o'clock in the morning
nigga picked up cans, nigga.
Yeah. Picked up cans.
Recycling like a motherfucker man, nigger.
You know, one monkey, you know, I'm gonna find something.
And all the while I'm picking up them cans, I'm devising shit.
I'm making my plan.
You did?
You know what I'm saying?
Man, fuck that, man.
Get yours, my nigga.
Get yours.
Motherfuckers are laughing how you get your money,
but they ain't got nothing to say when you're spending that shit.
You did?
Real shit right there, man.
See, that shit right there is deep because, you know,
to just hear motherfuck and say, man, like, you know,
I didn't lost it all before, man.
I didn't, I didn't been down on my ass before.
You know what I'm saying?
And just to hear you get up, man, and just fuck it.
I don't give a fuck with my partner to say.
I don't give a fuck with no bitch up the block.
Say that, you know what I'm saying?
I was trying to pop at before.
I don't give a fuck about none of that.
I'm gonna get my ass up and I'm gonna get some cans
and I'm gonna recycle them.
It take a hell of a motherfucker to say some shit
like that, love one for real.
Whatever, my nigga, I'm be honest with you,
nigga, I was recycling.
I was baking cakes.
You know, I like to bake like a motherfucker I bake.
You know what I'm saying?
Like real shit, like motherfucking pound cakes
and then fucking, I make a cake like pound cakes.
like strawberry cream cheese cakes
all kinds of shit
I was making cakes
I was cutting the motherfuckers up
real shit
take them to the barbershop
selling them niggas was fucking with me man
You know what I'm saying
Because you know what
Them cakes probably came
With a little joke
A little laugh
Like people liked your energy
Probably in your presence
And the motherfuckers was good
We ain't gonna leave that out
The shit good
Don't fuck with me
I'll bake like a motherfucker
Nigel
You have to give me some
Man I'm having a little taste of something
I'm making burning CDs
nigga
I'm fucking changing brakes
Whatever
Yeah
whatever I could do outside of the fucking scope of criminality, nigga,
I was doing to try to get me some bread.
You know what I'm talking about?
Right, right, trying to just make a change.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, man.
Ain't nothing wrong with change.
And then, you know, because somebody, you know, I'm sitting here,
and, you know, again, you like a counselor, sharp.
So, you know what I'm saying?
You're like a therapist, so I'm spitting it out.
And you're kind of like a pimping-ass therapist to me.
You know what I'm talking about?
And a lot of people have been getting at me because, you know,
you know, I'm such a man, such an extraordinary guy.
You know what I'm saying?
They get at me, man, my vernacular is so on point superb.
You know, a lot of people ask me, you know what I'm saying?
Am I a pimp?
And I like to tell people all the time, no, I'm not a pimp.
I never disrespect pimp.
You just like to wear pimp clubs.
I like, no, I like that too.
I like that too.
I like that too.
But I also, you know, I'm not a pimp, man.
But I'm a slap.
I'm a slap, man.
Something like a pimp.
Almost.
You know what I'm saying?
Almost.
I'm something like a pimp.
I'm something like a pimp.
You know what?
Especially on the right day.
Like today, you know what?
I was going to wear my little...
I said, you know what?
I'm not going to do it.
I'm not going to do it because that's sharp show.
You know what I'm saying?
And he's sharp.
You know what I'm talking about?
I want to take nothing away from your sharpness.
It's not that I can't because this is your show.
Hey, man.
Hey, man.
I just want you to come open up, man.
Come talk to us, man.
And just let us kind of know what's going on in your life.
Man, because I fuck with you heavy sharp.
You know from the,
moment we met, I was watching your videos
and shit, then I met this guy, I'm like, man,
you're so powerful, man, you're such a powerful
motherfucker, man, you're admirable, man.
You know what I'm talking about, man.
I appreciate you. Well, I'm just trying to give people a chance,
you know, real people like you.
I'm not even going to say you up and coming
because you've been doing this shit for a long
motherfucking time now, man. Yeah, I know these niggas'
mom. You really do.
And it's fucked up, but it's true.
Yeah, you do. Know these niggas mom.
I know these niggas mom.
So, you know, just to
I'm just trying to, you know, show that, hey, man, there's still people moving out here.
There's still people grooving.
Not everybody's got the best hand at all times.
They get to hear from people like you, people like myself and other people that I bring on, you know, to my podcast, you know,
because everybody has a struggle, man.
Everybody has a had a struggle, has a struggle, and is going to continue to if we don't try to break the barrier of it now.
You know what I'm saying?
And that's all I try to do by bringing even people, like I said, like yourself on here and just,
opening up, man. You know, just letting you know. You break embarrassed by walking your truth.
You admit it to yourself first. You ain't got to admit it to nobody else, but just admit it to yourself
first. I admit it to myself all the time. I'm a fly motherfucker. Yeah. And there ain't nothing I can do
about that. You know what I'm talking about? I'm just talking to shit. You know what I'm saying?
She's like, what's your name over there, friend, friend? Riley, right on. She over there,
giggling and shit. You know what I'm talking? Is you talking to that nigga or you listening to us?
I'm just saying, she over there.
giggling this shit.
Riley, I'm fucking with you.
Hey, man, I got to ask you this, right?
Was there ever a time
you was going to be like, man, fuck stand up?
I'm done, dog.
I'm not even fucking with this shit no more.
Like, I feel like I was going to get
what I was going to get out of it,
and I think I'm just going to go ahead
and close the door.
Never.
Never.
Never.
Standup is still new to me.
You know what I'm saying?
Standup actually came after TV.
I'm parlaying a chance.
You see it?
You did.
Hell of a transition.
Charlie Murphy told me, get yours, nigger, parlay this moment.
You a funny nigga.
Charlie Murphy, man.
God bless his soul, man.
Rest of peace, Charlie Murphy, man, for real.
And show that fly-ass, Lucene's, DeMarco cut right there.
DeMarco hit me at Loose ends, you know, he hit my shit off.
You know what I'm talking about?
See DeMarco or you see my man Tyrone, either one, both these dudes on par, loose ends.
You know what I'm talking about right there on 146 in West and the Gardena?
You know what I'm talking about Lucin's?
DeMarco or Tyrone.
You know what I'm talking about?
Yeah.
That motherfucker, but God bless Charlie Murphy.
It's soul.
God bless John Witherspoon.
But both of them dudes told me to get it.
You know what I'm talking about?
You know, stand-up was always fascinating to me.
You know, and I'm not going to say that I'm a natural
because a lot of niggas want to come in the game and say that a natural.
You don't understand natural stand-up is a science.
You don't just like pimping.
You just don't jump in and say you a pimp.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
And show up with a bitch and say you're a pimp.
You're not a pimp.
Yeah.
You take 10,000 man hours or $10,000.
checking it out of a bitch.
You know what I'm saying?
Something.
It's going to take one or the other.
You get them 10,000 man.
I was in them $10,000 or something.
You're not a pimp.
You're not a stand-up.
So, again, it's something that I want to approach with respect and admiration.
You know what I'm talking about?
And learn the science of it because it's definitely not something.
You know, a nigga.
There's plenty of niggas that's funny at the barbecue.
You know what I'm saying?
It's a bunch of niggas that's going to make you laugh in the line at the ball.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, yeah.
But when you put them on stage in front of 800 people, 8,000 people, 8,000 people, 8 people.
Right.
You know what I'm saying?
It's not the same.
So, you know, it's definitely a science, and I'm learning that science.
But, you know, now I feel like, you know, nigga, I'm there.
I'm at level one, a comedian, if you ask me.
I'm at level one.
You feel like you're at level one.
You don't feel like you're just a few more notches than that?
No, when I mean being a real comedian and not just a funny nigger.
Right. You know what I'm saying?
It's a hell of a transition.
It's a hell of a transition, you know what I'm saying?
Yeah, hell yeah, it is.
It's about timing.
You know what I'm saying?
It's about, you know, writing and reading crowds and shit.
There's a comedian, right?
I would think is, you know, that's a make-and-break type of career, you know, because today
you could be hot, tomorrow you can be not.
You know what I'm saying?
So it really does, you know, you really are putting yourself out on the, you know what I'm saying?
You're putting yourself out on the ledge with that, man, you know?
I think that's about the rapport you build with your feet.
fan base. When you get that good solid
fan base, I'm gonna give a motherfucking
a motherfucking
example like my man Corey
Holcomb. He's not the biggest comedian
in the world. He's a great comedian. He's
not the biggest comedian, but he has a
solid fucking fan base that's going to fuck
with him all the time, including myself.
You know what I'm saying? He got a solid fucking
fan base and you build that solid fan base
and build that rapport with your people,
man. You reach out, you touch the people.
You know what I'm saying? If you're spitting that real shit,
they're going to feel you and they're going to fuck with you, man.
feel like even with people that say like oh sharp you know I'm a fan I'd be like
no man you're a friend like I don't never want you know I'm saying I don't
never look at like even my people things I do you know I don't I'll never look at
them as fans man I always look at them as friends and you know friends I feel like
support yeah you're saying friends are supposed to be so they're supporters so
that's when you're support that's that's a real friend to me you know that's
not just fan shit and then that fans shit that's actually putting you somewhere
else like you're making me something other than a human being I am I'm your
friend, bro. I'm gonna come in your house and take
a shit. You know what I'm gonna come
drop a deuce. I'm gonna take a gangster
right in your house. You know what I'm saying?
If it's real like that, I'm gonna take a shit.
You know what I'm saying? I want you to hit my cash
app, my nigga. You my folks, you my friend, my
nigga, I'm gonna give you my cash app.
Dollar sign Slink Johnson, S-L-I-N-J-O-H-N-S-O-N.
Love me down one time, my nigga. It's cool.
It's cool, my nigga. I know you don't
want me out here, you know,
doing something strange for some change,
man, you want to see your friends survive.
You're going to start the only fans or something?
I probably will. I probably will.
I probably will. I thought about
doing the only fans. I was thinking about doing
a foot fetish only fans. I don't give a fuck who see
my feet. I know some of you freak
motherfuckers want to see some feet. Here goes some
15s for you. I haul
them motherfuckers up, nigger, and shine them,
nigga. You can look at them all night.
You need to do a, you need to do a
nigga knows your mama theme.
You know, I'm saying?
Of just nothing but just, you know, shit just, you know what?
You know what?
I've been approaching that shit very delicate.
Sell those pictures.
I've been, I've been approaching it because these niggas is real cross about that.
These niggas.
I got a few of those, man.
There's one nigger mama.
There's one nigger mama I got this bitch.
Look, the bitch was in the mall, nigga, hot dog on a stick, man.
She had bint it over and bust it open and shit and put, you know, she had the little hot dog right up against the cheek being very suggestive and shit.
I ain't going to say nothing about that.
I ain't going to say the little Rashid.
I ain't for to say nothing about your mom, nigga.
You know what I'm saying?
Rashid.
Rasheed.
You'd be talking to all that shit.
You thought I wasn't going to do it.
You'd be talking to all that shit.
Yeah, nigga.
All right, nigga.
Yeah, he just blasted you out, man.
About 4 million subscribers.
My son.
Don't make Rashid W.
I'm just going to leave it at that.
So it can get personal, nigga.
I know your mama, nigga.
What you're saying, man.
He's niggies.
your mama was human too
you know what I'm saying the same little shit
you be wanting the little bitches bopping out doing
thotting out you know what I'm saying
pop that pussy for a real nigga
your mama been popping that pussy for real
niggas some real real
gray-haired niggas right now
you know what I'm talking about
yeah I know these guys so
let's talk about
Slink Johnson the man
and where he's headed in the next
five to 10 years where do you
where do you see yourself
in the game
I see myself
in the game be A-lister. A-list Hollywood actor. You know what I'm saying? Slash still real
Nick. I'm going to be the nigga to balance that line real good. You know what I'm talking
about? I'll be the nigga to balance that line real good. I see myself owning a couple
properties. Looking forward to doing that, buying some rental properties down south, you know,
to move to everybody doing right now. Give me a couple of them. You know what I'm saying?
She's down there, man. The land that the house comes on.
Absolutely, man, absolutely.
I want to get some of that shit, man.
And I see myself knowing a few more niggas' mamas.
You know what I'm saying?
I see a few more niggas mommas in my future.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
I see a few more niggas momas in my future.
Shit, I'm smoking a lot of weeds, sharp, raising some beautiful children.
I got five children.
They're beautiful as a motherfucker.
Shit, I'm doing some great things, man.
You know what I'm saying?
I just see a couple of movies under my belt.
I'm fit to do this action movie.
You know what I'm saying?
I'm actually gonna flip the script on niggas
Because you know all they you know a lot of people
People got the nerd who got the notion or a lot of times they like to pigeonhole you
You know what I'm saying? That's why you rarely see me in the costume I'm not gonna wear the black Jesus costume if I ain't doing black Jesus really
Or unless the bag is just that big you know what I'm saying because I ain't for to let you pigeonhole me
Just like I'm not feeling let nobody pigeonhole me in this comedy
I got some actually I got some sci-fi you know what I'm saying some serious sci-fi
and some motherfucking
drama that I'm working on.
And again,
my name ain't going to be on it like that
because, you know what I'm saying?
I want you to, you know what I'm saying?
When I hit you with this shit,
when you see that white man
that somebody's Berg name on it,
I'm going to hit your face.
You know what I'm saying?
You're going to think it's them.
And it's, oh yeah, secretly the black guy.
Watch, it's going to be some dope shit.
I think it's hard, man,
to, um,
It's very hard to be somebody that's funny because I see that in movie, like people who are, you know, actors, you know, all the time.
It's very hard for them to go from being funny and then trying to get a serious role.
Nobody always takes them serious.
Like, I can't even, you know what I'm saying?
Like, damn, it's hard to see Kevin Hart in something serious.
Yeah, well, he just did a true story.
Right.
So it's going to be, that's putting yourself out there.
It's just, it's a hell of a transition, man.
And it's a hell of a risk.
Absolutely, man.
you know, absolutely.
And, you know, I believe that, you know, a motherfucker going to fare well in that arena, you know what I'm saying?
And it's just, you know, I think a lot of comedians can do, you know, straight and serious, you know, drama and thrillers,
sci-fi, all that shit.
I believe comedians can do it all.
It's just the public's perception of those comedians and how hard you'll have to fight to, you know, to get through that public perception.
But I believe it can be done, you know, with the right role.
and shit in the right wardrobe.
Right.
Sometimes it's just looking at a motherfucker.
You got, sometimes you might have to, you know,
put on a different outfit and just do something totally different
than what people are used to.
Yeah. You know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
Well, you know, people are, man, you know,
you have to think about it, man.
People are afraid to do something like that one off
because they always afraid of what people think.
And I say this, if you motherfuckers ain't scared to sit there
as men and put on full-blown dresses, what the fuck you get a fucking four in?
If that's the case,
I'm just saying, if you could put on me, these grown-ass men, man, sitting there and modeling this shit.
Christian Dior, man, they put men in, you know, people like that, they put them in full-blown
dresses and shit like that.
So if you could do that, man, and that type of shit, man, hey, do what you really want to do.
Man, go here, man.
Like, do what you really want to do.
They go back to living in your truth.
Yeah.
Walking in your truth.
Yeah, do what you really want to do, man.
What gives a fuck what anybody thinks, man?
Live free, man.
Be free spirit.
At the end of the day, that's what I say, man, because at the end of the motherfucking day,
I'd have seen enough niggas die
that lived their life
that didn't live their life
to their potential and they died
and a whole bunch of motherfuckers
that they think they died folk don't give a fuck
the day after they in the dirt
so that to that man
you do to fuck your shit nigga quit
worrying about these niggas
quit worrying about these niggas man do your shit
man you motherfuckers be worried about niggas too much
get your shit and I'm saying that
to the motherfuckers you know
again Sharp you got a certain
image. People may have a certain perception
of you because of what your perceived
background or what you know what you know what I'm saying, but
they don't know. It's a lot of motherfuckers
that come from back back. Everybody
ain't these
gross exaggerations of
being products of their environment. There's some regular
niggas out there. Some niggas that want to just go
you want to be a cook, nigga,
go cook. Fuck that
bullshit. Nick of them niggas you on
that block fighting fit, wit and four
and over. Nigga, when you're
ass in jail, they wouldn't give a fuck.
Go cook, nigga.
You want to fucking,
God damn it, you want to be a
mechanical rocket scientist, but the
homies is laughing, nigga. Fuck them niggas, man.
Do your shit.
Do your shit, man.
That's some fucking bullshit,
man. Do your shit, man.
Live to your full attention.
Whatever your shit is, do that shit.
Whatever the fuck it is.
And I want to urge young niggas to start early.
12, 13, 14, when peer
pressure is tough.
You know what I'm saying?
The set is out there.
And them niggas, you got to pass them niggas every day to go to school.
You got to pass them niggas every day to go to computer class or the choir or wherever you go.
Well, nigga, you go past them niggas and squab every one of them niggas down.
And I swear you'll be harder than every nigga in that hood, nigga.
Going to fucking yoga class or whatever the fuck it is you want to do.
Whatever the fuck, nigga, walk a nigga out.
Yeah, nigga.
Yeah, nigga.
I'm on my way to baking class, nigger.
I don't want to hang out.
Fuck that bullshit.
Fuck peer pressure,
nigga,
live your life
as soon as you can.
As soon as you realize
what's you,
nigga,
embrace it
and live it to your fullest,
man.
You did?
Man, I'm just trying to tell
these niggas, man.
You know what I'm saying?
Because I see the future of the world
these little boys
is fucked, man.
Yeah.
These little niggas is fucked
man.
You're living for these niggers,
man.
Yeah.
Quit living for these niggers, man.
And I don't mean
live for
for the bitch either, but live for you.
Fuck these niggas what they worried about,
what they care about, nigga.
Oh my God, I got sons, man.
And I'm like, man, you niggas better not, man.
Hey.
Hey.
And I think we got on that
because we were talking about motherfuckers,
you know, living how they want to.
Right, right.
Yeah, yeah, and I'm turning into that.
Yeah, nigga live how you want to, nigga.
I love that.
What do you, where can we see you in the future?
Where do you got any upcoming
I heard you talk about a couple of you was going to do some stuff,
but let's get in detail.
Like what do you got planned for the next whole year?
Oh man, 22.

Social disturbance.
Yeah, social, that's, hey, I, I played this.

How the fuck was that?
Man, that shit was cool.
That shit was cool.
Did you take a serious and shit?
Did you start to feel like it?
I did.
I was talking, this nigga know what the fuck I'm talking about?
You know what I'm saying?
I was talking that shit.
You know what I'm talking about?
I almost wanted to rest myself.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, goddamn.
So what's the phrase?
I always hear you say,
you know what I'm saying?
Smoke yours.
Oh, man.
And I always see it being promoted with you,
you know,
and it's always, I see that it's,
It's been a brand, you know, that's been fucking with you.
So tell me what that's about.
Like, what's smoke yours?
Where'd that come from?
Like, what's that mean?
Man, smoke yours, man, that came from myself and my main man, DeLuah James.
We sit around and talk shit and, you know, call each other in the morning and shit.
Like, nigga, who got the weed, whoever got the weed, nigga, go to, nigger, smoke yours.
Smoke yours.
I ain't got nothing.
Smoke yours.
And we'll call another, nigga.
He got some weed.
Smoke his and we'll go over his house and smoke his shit.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
So, you know, smoke yours come out of necessity.
So through that, DeLau and I came up with the whole crew.
We got the crew, fucking Lodeasy, Defunc, a bad bitch, good weed, natural red diva.
God damn it.
Gina J., motherfucking Teddy Ray.
God damn it, a bunch of motherfuckers, you know what I'm saying?
And, you know, we just, it's just a smoking crew.
You know, they got pro everything.
We're a pro-smokers crew.
You're a pro-smoking team.
If they make an Olympic event, it's a pro-smoking team.
I'm going to be there a batch of jerseys and all that shit.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
But, you know, smoke yours also means to do you.
Back to what we were saying, whatever it is, smoke yours.
If you ain't hurting nobody, it usually is going to be weed.
You ain't heard nobody.
You ain't hurting nobody.
You ain't hurting yourself.
You ain't breaking your routine or falling off.
Smoke yours.
Whatever it is.
Smoke yours.
If you ain't, you know, fuck it up off, it's smoke yours.
And don't worry about what the motherfucker got to say about you, man.
Smoke yours.
Do you live your life, man?
Because at the end of the day, when you did,
these motherfuckers is going to be doing what they do.
Is there anywhere we can,
because I know you been doing some stand-up, right?
Absolutely.
What clubs, what places you've been doing this?
Oh, man, shit.
So the people can come find you.
They might be in L.A.
You might be doing a show.
Man, I've been at the sunset rooftop.
I'm going to the comedy store this month.
I'm at the improv this month, man.
Oh, shit, man.
I'm in Tulsa, Oklahoma, somewhere this month.
Well, that's the comedy story in L.A.
And improv in L.A.
and I don't know where I'm in Tulsa, Oklahoma,
and I've been at the shit,
the Continental, the sunset rooftop,
the comedy union, the goddamn Jay Spot,
nigger, all that shit, nigga.
You know what I'm saying?
I'm just making my way around,
you know, touching all these motherfuckoldold stages,
putting my 10,000 hours in,
you know what I'm saying,
keeping my feet on these bitches next.
You know what I'm talking about?
Gotta stay hard on these motherfuckers sharp, man.
When I say these bitches,
I mean these proverbial bitches of life.
I don't necessarily mean ladywomenes.
I just mean the proverbial bitches of life.
I'm keeping my foot in these bitches necks.
You know what I'm talking about?
These old puss head holes, you old monkey fish, bitch.
You're nothing but chum.
Speaking of bitches and things like that,
you also do a show that you run.
You invited me to one of them.
I came out to one of the first tapings of it.
It's called Pimps and Kenfolks.
Yes, thank you.
If you haven't seen it, go look.
looking up where we can find that on Twitch
man. Pimson Kimfolk man
is, you know, one of the
only places on the net where real niggas can
come and congregate, chop game
and express game in a safe haven for
real niggas, you know what I'm saying? It kind of reminds me of like
a black ridiculousness. It's kind
of dope because it's like you're talking, you know what I'm
saying, you're kicking the shit, you got, you know, things
going on the screens kind of behind you. You know,
you got the whole crowd saying
that's PEP shit. You know, I like
that. I like that, you know, that slogan, how you all be
moving over there, man. I thought it
I thought it was live and I think it's going to go somewhere.
Thank you, brother.
Thank you.
Pimson Kim Folk is definitely an experience.
You know, I urge all my people, if you're in L.A. or the L.A. area, you know, we do it one, one Wednesday a month, usually the third Wednesday a month.
And it's Pimson and Kim Folk, man.
We shoot at a private soundstage.
We smoking, drinking, chilling.
And come, always dress fly, you know what I'm saying?
Because, again, you're such a big inspiration.
The whole culture, the culture is an inspiration, you know, for Pimson and Kent Folk.
thus the name. You know what I'm saying? A lot of people
got it fucked up this day. Oh, you're talking about
pimping, you know, again, you know,
me having y'all on the first episode was
my way of paying homage to
It was me and Bishop Don Juan.
Shout out Bishop, Don Magic Wong, man.
Happy Belgrade birthday.
Happy belated birthday, too, man.
Absolutely. So, you know, it was paying
me paying homage to
the game, you know what I'm saying? I can't, you know,
it can't be pimps and kid folk without
it being blessed by some real
pimps. That's Kenfo.
I'm talking about it.
Well, I'll say this, Sling Johnson.
I appreciate you for sliding through,
coming through, fucking with me.
Opening up your heart,
opening up your funny shit,
opening up your serious shit,
opening up some sad shit, you know,
but just overall showing people that, you know,
you can make it still through it all, man, you know?
For real, man.
As you're breathing, man.
As long as you wake up on this side of the wall,
that's why a niggas say,
what's up with you slink all shit?
I'm just shit talking shit, swathing.
and spit keeping two feet on the turf and staying on this side of the wall.
You know what I'm saying?
That's all I want to do.
Keep two feet on the turf and stay on this side of the wall.
As long as you can do that, my nigga, you know, sky's the limit.
You know what I'm saying?
Because I don't have days.
I don't woke up and, you know, feeling like it's all bad.
And then I hear the little cash app sound on my phone and it changes to the whole mood.
You know what I'm talking about?
Right.
So, you know, you never know what's going to happen that day, my nigga.
You know what I'm saying?
Don't hate on the day.
You know, I look at it.
life like a movie. It's like a
constant cliffhanger. Every time I get
to a gym or a dilemma or crossroads
in my life, I look at myself on
a train, and I'm on a motherfucking train,
and I'm about to fall off, it's about to jump off
the clip. And then
I tell myself,
the hero's going to come, and
I just wonder how it's going to happen, because
it always happens. You know what I'm saying?
You're going to get out of that situation one way or the other. You're going to
bring the hero out of yourself, and you're going to
get off that motherfucking train, and you're going
stop that train and you're going to save the money and a couple of the bitches going to go but
you're going to save the money you know what i'm saying right yeah i can't wait to see what man you
