Starting point is 00:00:00 Be the right club. Be the right club today. I mean, that's better than most. How about him? That is better than most. Better than most. Expect anything different? Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the No Laying Up podcast.
Starting point is 00:00:31 Sali here. Got a season wrapping bazinga game coming your way before we get right into the show. Here is an example of how this show is going to work. If I were to say over the 46 events played the season on the PGA tour, more of the world's best. Use this equipment makers, golf balls, drivers, irons and wedges than any other brand. Correct response to that would be. What is titleist?
Starting point is 00:00:53 That is the longstanding number one ball in golf. the PGA Tour's most played driver for seven seasons in a row. The tour's top iron for 12 straight and the most played wedge since 2004. Go to Titleist.com to locate a fitting near you and see firsthand the performance, quality and consistency that the world's best rely on weekend and week out. We brought our friend Matt Every on board with me and T.C. to do a little season-ending trivia. Enjoy the show. This was a lot of fun. We recorded this just before Thanksgiving. We were going to run this on the Sunday night.
Starting point is 00:01:26 Thanksgiving. The JT interview happened. We pushed that one up. So we bump this one back again. I don't think anything's dated in this one, but again, recorded this just before Thanksgiving. But enjoy Bazinga. Crack on. All right. Folks, we are back with another Jeopardy game here. We want to go forward. In order to go forward, TC, we must look back. You know, that's a simple rule. And that's what we're here to do today. Good, good to be with you. Good to be with you as well. I'm playing hurt today. And I hope I'm not looking back too much as far as negative points in, in honor of Neil that has been a trend in the past. Solly, who you heard from the jump is going to be here. Did you win the last one, Solie, the majors one? I did. Neil's been shadow banned. Also, it's Bazinga that we're playing here. I don't know what you were.
Starting point is 00:02:09 I don't know what you were referring to there. Legal reasons. We are playing. Bazinga. And in the third chair today, a guy, one of my favorites, man. A guy who don't talk to enough. Now a fellow member of the media.
Starting point is 00:02:19 You might recognize him as a PJ tour winner. I simply see him as a colleague now. He's on golf. You know, he's always on TV. He's doing all kinds of stuff. Matt, how are you? Man, I am so pumped to be here, flying blind. I text Tron last night.
Starting point is 00:02:34 I said, do I need to study for this? And he said, it's actually better if you don't. So pumped for the invite. This is going to be fun. What's been going on with you, man? I feel like I see you all over the place now. Just doing the tour live stuff. And then Alex O'Lachlan and myself have a show called The Drop every Monday on the golf channel.
Starting point is 00:02:55 It's been going really good. I got renewed for next year. It's, you know, good things are happening right now. I feel like I feel like I'm starting to do this, DJ. Yeah, I think so. You seem like you're, you know, I saw that Bo Hossler video you did with the tour. How about that? Bo just dropping the ayahuasca bomb on us out of nowhere.
Starting point is 00:03:13 The tour being okay with that too. Yeah, I just, I love it. It's, uh, every time you pop up on my social feed or whatever. Like, oh, every's always doing something interesting. That's, it's great. I mean, every was just. It was kind of a modified dab that he was just... It was almost kind of a half-dab, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:33 We'll see if he's dabbing when we get into some of these questions. We will. Well, how have you liked doing the media stuff? I mean, that's a transition. I love it. Yeah, I do. And there's all different versions of it right now, like with the headquarters being right here in Pontevira.
Starting point is 00:03:50 I've gotten like a chance to kind of do different things, whether it's just on the course in the studio, live stuff, tape stuff, and just kind of, you know, smoothing out my edges a little bit, DJ. I don't want to get them too smooth, though. No, exactly. Just, just rough enough. That's going to make you go a long way in golf.
Starting point is 00:04:09 If you're just, you know, you got to be kind of dangerous enough. But, you know, still feel like you got a little edge. What's a moment of the year for you this year? What was your highlight of the year? Rory, got to be at Augusta. Yeah. Yeah. And I think second for me would be Rory at the rider.
Starting point is 00:04:26 And then Roy at the players Yeah There's a Maybe any more moments Because there's going to be a Rory category here Okay cool All right sorry
Starting point is 00:04:35 John TC's memory at anything Yeah All right so you're familiar With what we're doing here It's it's you know Pretty much Basic Jeopardy slash Bazinga
Starting point is 00:04:45 Rules It should be pretty straightforward And you know It's usually usually a very fun time Okay How did how did Smarton do When he was on? He was very competitive
Starting point is 00:04:55 from what I remember. I think he was second place. Okay. I'm not taking a lot of chances. Yeah. That's right. Yeah. He was,
Starting point is 00:05:03 he played a good. He was running a kind of, yeah, very conservative offense. I think kind of dink and dunk. Four corners. Yeah. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:05:11 exactly. Pull it out. Pull it out. All right, guys. Should we get into it? Yes. Zinga.
Starting point is 00:05:17 Yeah, our buzzers. Let's do it. Everybody's got their buzzer. There's no excuses. It's going to be, you know, straightforward rules,
Starting point is 00:05:22 just like we've done in the past here. Let's get into it. first round categories are going to be data boys love that one who am i existential question scott sheffler versus the world stay the course that one's about courses and lady killers that one's about ladies uh tc it appears like it's your board so i'll let you you lead it off let's go stay the course for 200 dennis when it comes to relation to par this was the easiest hole on the pj tour in 2025
Starting point is 00:06:05 matt uh give me number 15 at harford that is incorrect that was a terrible guess but sally what is nine at wili good guess also he's going to get it now what is 18 at TPC Craig ranch uh no three oh three guys it was a plentation course number five the par five right on it uh yeah that's not a tough 200 question that was a tough 200 one i'm sorry that's a tough category so 18 holes
Starting point is 00:06:46 times like 47 tournaments yeah that was i don't know i mean it's been on tour for 25 years you know basically plays at like a 3.8. Like, I don't know. You guys should. It doesn't feel easy because it's, you know, Kaabalua is just great. You still got to hit the shot, right? Sure.
Starting point is 00:07:04 I don't know. All right. Stay the course for 400, Dech. Fuck it. Stay the course for 400. We're staying the course. This course began a renovation immediately after the 2025 tournament.
Starting point is 00:07:14 Coincidentally, it also gave up more birdies than any course in 2025. Sully. What does TPC Craig Ranch. God. That's incorrect. What? Oh. T.C. Uh. Congratulations. You did. You did buzz it. Uh, what is Harbor Town? Golf links. Uh, incorrect. It's like, it's a signature event. There's not that many. Not that many people in the field. Stupid. God. Matt, you get a wisely, put your buzzer away. I'm got. I'm going to. I'm going, Sean Martin here, not answering.
Starting point is 00:07:54 This was Detroit Golf Club. Guys gave up 2,167 birdies. Started a Tyler Ray redesign immediately after the tournament this year. Great start from the game here. I thought you had that, bro. Right? I love that one. T.C., you're bored still.
Starting point is 00:08:13 Choose wisely. We're going to stay the course for 600. Gosh. This was the toughest par five on the PGA tour this year. this is so hard deed this is really hard i'm listen man it's like 11 p.m. last night i'm trying to come up with categories i don't know nihilistic bazaiga they're not all this hard i was i was like pumping you guys up before the game like oh it's like set up for birdies out there man just the tough opening goal are five you got i have a guess but i'm not guessing for 600
Starting point is 00:08:50 guess. This is oh, there we go. Torrey Pines South, number 13. Yeah, wouldn't have gotten that. I was like as Valero 18, but TC, you're still a major control of the board.
Starting point is 00:09:06 We're going to stay the course rate. Yeah, let's just get it over with. Daily wager here, TC. I think you're allowed to wager zero is, it feels like the max. Oh, no, it'll let you wager up to a thousand. So up to you. I'll wage you're 200.
Starting point is 00:09:22 Okay. The scoring average at this historic venue fell to 69.2 this year, more than three shots easier than it played back in 2018. Historic venue. Historic maybe a little bit liberally, but it's been on tour for a long time. What is Harbortown Golf? links.
Starting point is 00:09:52 PJ National. Remember, everybody was all in arms about how it's I would never, I would never consider that historic. I was trying to lead you to water there. It was, you know, it's been on tour forever.
Starting point is 00:10:04 Yeah, the overseat. Maybe a little, a little clue about the overseed or something. Sure. All right. Well, this is a catastrophic. A thousand. What do you think, TZ for a thousand?
Starting point is 00:10:17 We have, we must stay the course. This par five was the easiest finishing hole on the PJ tour in 2025, according to relation to par. Solly. What is Wiley? Very close. Matt. 18 Craig Ranch.
Starting point is 00:10:40 Very close, but no. Oh, come on. DC. What is 18 at Vodontal world? Guys, come on. The number 18 is like, yeah. Very close. The, that's way harder than the scoring average 4.383 was the the scoring average at Eastlake.
Starting point is 00:11:02 TPC Craig Ranch was what was that one one thousandth higher four point three eight four while I four three eight eight guys. I thought that one was going to be hard. I didn't think it's going to be that hard. If we're going to if you're going to make a triple you want it to be the first hole. Exactly. You got all the time in the world to make it up. So what are we out here? TC's minus 1,800. Solly's minus 1,600. Matt, in a commanding lead of minus 1,200.
Starting point is 00:11:28 Let's go. T.C., please. Let's flip the Moe here. Let's go lady killers for 200. I think you guys can get this one. It was young hitter versus young hitter at this, as this player survived a lengthy run to take home the title at the T-Mobile match play. Solly, come on, man.
Starting point is 00:11:49 Who is Madeline Sagstrom? We're on the board. I couldn't remember who won between the two of them. I was like, which one is it? Madeline Saxon versus Lauren Coglin, of course, out at Shadow Creek, I believe. All right, Sali. Lady Killers for 400. She earned $2.4 million at Aaron Hills becoming the sixth Swedish woman to win a major.
Starting point is 00:12:15 T.C. Yes. Who is Maya Stark? That is Maya Stark. Congratulations. See, this is kind of how I thought it was going to go. That was bad, bad vibes on the first hole there. We'll go lady killers for 600.
Starting point is 00:12:30 Winner of 14 LPGA titles, this player won her national open for the second time in 2025. Solly. Who is Brooke Henderson? Correct. Brooke Henderson. Congratulations. Well done. We're sneaking back up on it.
Starting point is 00:12:45 Solly, we can get back to zero with this 800 one if you want. Lady killers for 800. the LPGA saw a streak of 25 different winners throughout the season until this player became the first multiple event winner of 2025 in Shanghai Sali Who is Gino Titakoon? That is correct
Starting point is 00:13:05 We are back to zero commanding lead over the rest of the rest of the squad and still in control of the board here Let's kill him for 1,000 Kill him for 1,000 In one of the craziest finishes of the year This player survived a five-way a playoff to win her first major
Starting point is 00:13:21 at the Chevron. Solly. Who is Mao Saigo? Mao Saigo is correct. Of course, holding off Aria Jutanagan, H.J. Kim, Rune and Yin and Lindy Duncan. What a sick playoff.
Starting point is 00:13:36 It might need to do a 30 for 30 about the last 20 minutes for that. That was a nice get there, Solie. That was a good get. All right. Solly's flipped them. He's at 1,000. Matt's waiting in the wings. I think he's cleared the two hard categories.
Starting point is 00:13:47 He's ready to get out and run. And TC is minus 1,400 bringing up the rear. Saul, you're bored still. Data Boys, 200. Data Boys. He's often referred to as one of the best putters on tour, but this was the first year he's ever led the PJ Tour in strokes game putting. Matt.
Starting point is 00:14:09 Danny McCarthy. Sorry, man. That's incorrect. It's okay. Wow. It was Sam Burns. It is Sam Burns. Correct.
Starting point is 00:14:17 always in the top 10 first time he's ever ever actually led so fun one there it's all your board data boys 400 Kevin streelman went a tour best
Starting point is 00:14:30 347 holes this year without doing this sally what is three putting that is three putting Matt what's your longest streak ever without three putting no clue
Starting point is 00:14:41 six holes dude the other day when we did that cut show they were like the the research people are ripping up you know facts and stuff and they go what's the longest cut streak you think you had in your career and i legit thought it was like three or four i went i went 10 at one point which is shocking to me that beats the club pro guy his was three i think really yeah the uh the three-put thing always blows my mind of just 347 consecutive holes like you think he was aware of that at any time yeah i don't know
Starting point is 00:15:17 Oh, it's good question. On PJ Tour Greens, PJ Tour speeds, PJ Tour pins. It's just, that's fucking crazy. Well, PGA Tour pins are famously not on slopes. Do what they're tucked is my point, I guess. All right, Saul, you're bored and you're leading. Data Boy is 600. It's getting late early here, guys.
Starting point is 00:15:37 This Frenchman led the PJ Tour and consecutive Greens hit this year, rattling off a streak of 40 in a row. Matt. come on man Pavon gosh no that was gonna be my guess
Starting point is 00:15:53 it was one or the other TC who is the newest clique Victor Perez that is Victor Perez yeah I thought for sure we'd be getting another nickname for for Vic there but
Starting point is 00:16:05 yeah how about that sneaky little departure there yeah for as hot stove season it's a massive pickup for the cleaks TC followed me on
Starting point is 00:16:16 on X, everything. Yeah, congratulations on that. I hope you guys can collab. You guys should do one of those handbags together or stuff that are like a travel kit or almost like a first class. You know the little kit you get in first class
Starting point is 00:16:28 with like the sleeping mask and all that. Yeah, you should do a in a Cleeks TC collab amenity kit I think would really move. All right, TC, it's your board. You're within shouting distance of zero here. I'll go to data boys for 800, Deach.
Starting point is 00:16:45 This player, was fourth on the PJ tour in adjusted scoring average in 2025 trailing only Scotty Rory and Tommy Solly Who is Ben Griffin? It is Ben Griffin. How about that?
Starting point is 00:16:59 Big four. What a year. Must credit no laying a podcast, you know. Data boys for 1,000. 1,000. He lost more than 73 strokes on the Greens this year. Worst on tour by more than 13
Starting point is 00:17:16 shots. Matt. Oh, the guy, hold on. He's ball striking the, uh, it's an Asian dude. He's ball striking the crap out of it and he, he hasn't won. Rico Hoey. It is Rico. Hoey.
Starting point is 00:17:33 Yes. Let's go. Yes. Let's go. I love it. Uh, Rico's the man. He is the man. Uh, I just, I hate doing it dirty, but that's.
Starting point is 00:17:41 His numbers have been ridiculous this year, Tito Green. It's crazy. easy and that's it might be the best driver of the golf ball in the world and it is in the foremost d o d probably probably the most frustrating way to play golf the way he's playing it for sure it's kind of that ben hogan thing of like when he eventually was like put this is so stupid putting shouldn't be part of this i shouldn't be part of the game this is not what we're actually doing should just be hitting it into a small circle uh matt it's your board my man let's go baby all right who am i 200 who am i this is an american i carried 184 mile per hour
Starting point is 00:18:16 ball speed finish 10th in the FedEx Cup and I hail from New Jersey T.C. Who is Chris, Christopher Godderup. It is Chris Godder up. Well done. Well done. Tc's back to minus 600 now and controlling the board. We'll go, who am I for 400, please. Another daily wager, T's got to be.
Starting point is 00:18:38 I believe, what did I say you are, minus 400? I think the max is a thousand. I'll do a thousand. Wow. I love it. Okay. Let's play. The South Korean I made the Tour Championship I earned more than $5 million on the course this year all while finishing
Starting point is 00:18:53 second to last in strokes gained approach Who is Siwu Kim Good guess Sung J. M. Jun J. finished second to last in strokes Gained approach. Horrid horrid ball striking year
Starting point is 00:19:14 was one of the biggest shocks of going through this was just like, how do you how do you do that? How is like, how are you like that good at everything else? That's crazy that everybody keeps saying all that matters is ball striking, hit your irons, hit your irons, hit your irons, and I did not realize he hit him that bad.
Starting point is 00:19:30 Does he help that he just plays every event and just accumulates enough points to make the tour championship? That might be part of it. This is, I pulled this stat. So I don't know, the tour started posting like these cumulative strokes gained for the year. So Scotty obviously led
Starting point is 00:19:44 tour and strokes gained approach. Scotty gained 92 strokes approach. Sung Jay lost over 80. So he was almost as bad as Scotty was good, which is like pretty shocking. I didn't even think that was possible for Sungay. I always thought of him as like one of the preeminent mid-iron players in the world.
Starting point is 00:20:03 Which can I be honest with you, TC? I checked the numbers. Not the case. I've always thought that too. And I think it's truly because of the positive swing. Or I'm like, oh my God, let's just flush it. He played like two good tournaments. Like that one year. Honda. He just was knocking all the pins down the back on the back nine. And everybody projected that. I wanted that for him. And he's just not that dude. He also, I had this one, which I liked. He led the tour in holeouts, like holeouts from off the green. The average player holds out eight times over the course of a season. He hold out 32 times. Oh, my God. When you miss every green, though, he's got an unfair advantage. Exactly. Exactly. But there you go. There's Sanjay M. Corner for you there. T. TC, you're board. Who am I, 600?
Starting point is 00:20:47 An American. I was last on tour this year in driving distance, but that didn't stop me from winning two times. Matt. The Illinois guy, Brian Campbell. Brian Campbell's right. It is the Illinois guy. Honestly, forgot he won John Deere.
Starting point is 00:21:06 I remember the Mexico playoff, but the John Deere thing is, yeah, that's wild, man. Two wins. I mean, no offense to Brian Campbell. like is he the I mean I guess Martin trainer I don't think Martin trainer I don't think Martin trainer ever won twice in a season though
Starting point is 00:21:20 right he's won multiple times I don't think twice in a season though yeah I mean he's kind of saying he's the worst is he the worst yeah why don't you just say it
Starting point is 00:21:29 yeah I'll say it I'll fucking say it yeah is he the worst three time winner in the same season ever it's I don't know man I think from the Brian Gay school I think you got to be like maybe he's the like
Starting point is 00:21:42 it might be the best no Brian Brian Gay is like that's a massive compliment ball strikers or like like knows how to get the ball in the hole that's what I'm saying if you like if you hit it nowhere he hit it like 274 or something 278 was like Brian gay is is like such a better golfer than Brian Campbell that's probably true but I'm just trying to to find some consistency here I liked how every thought he was going for a worst two time winner like in PGA tour history and was like I say it say it say it's my face oh no I didn't think he was doing me I just didn't think he wanted to throw Brian under the body you can say whatever you want to me that's all right matt you're bored minus 400 you're keeping you're keeping i feel like you're paying your bills you know you're getting out of money this debt yeah we're digging uh who am i 800 uh japanese player i hit 74% of fairways in 2025 leading the pGA tour on the flip side i was 164th in strokes gained approach matt canaya it is to kumi khanaiya it is to kumi khani T.C. is going to be
Starting point is 00:22:46 smarting about it. I was not as that one. I was clicking. Wear it, T.C. That's, uh, yeah, 74% of Fairways on the PJ tour is that's heady, man. It is. All right, let's go a thousand. Who am I? Matt's back in the black, by the way.
Starting point is 00:22:59 He's 400. He's sneaking up on Sali. English player. Uh, I potted the lights out while finishing top 25 and 11 of my last 12 starts this season. T.C. Hmm. who is team rose oh incorrect i think there's some other people looking their chops on this one sally
Starting point is 00:23:20 who is harry hall is harry hall come on tc should have been on your team uh you know maybe they didn't i don't i was i was going to say harris english right there uh harry hall i feel like i've worked in a lot of harry hall stats on the podcast uh this year big harry hall guy i can't believe you guys have dodged the scotty category for uh for last year like this kind of feels like the easiest one but scott sheffler versus the world for 200 please sheffler made 20 starts in 2025 finishing outside the top 25 this many times sally what is zero it is zero zero times outside the top 25 uh it's just i don't know man i can't get enough of the scottie stats it's uh in fact i was going to put this but i think this one was
Starting point is 00:24:11 kind of everywhere. Of the 20 starts, you know how many he finished in the top 10? I want to say like 17. It's not like 17. It is 17. It's just shocking, shocking stuff.
Starting point is 00:24:24 Saul, you're out front. You're at 3,600. Matt's at 400. TCs deep in the red, about to get a payment plan put on him. Solly, where you want to go?
Starting point is 00:24:35 Let's keep going with Scott for 400, please. Scotty tied the PJ Tour, 72 hole scoring. record in winning the C.J. Cup Byron Nelson by this margin. Matt? Four. Incorrect.
Starting point is 00:24:57 I'm not even going to take a stab? I'll play. Why not? What is it? What is six? Incorrect. It was shot that he won that one by. Jesus. Big, big win.
Starting point is 00:25:10 Big win. It's all your Scott versus the Scott Schaeffa versus the world for 600. One of the most impressive streaks
Starting point is 00:25:20 that Scotty Shephler put together in 20205 was doing this 21 times in a row. Tommy Fleetwood was second at 15. T.C. What is
Starting point is 00:25:34 card and underpar around? Not quite. That's what I was going to say. 20 more Matt uh boge free uh no sallie come on
Starting point is 00:25:51 you got i mean i was going to say under par round i don't know he's got his checkers pieces in the back row he's not moving them for you guys we're good we're good here 21 times 21 times in a row he shot in the 60s 21 times in a row six
Starting point is 00:26:06 that's fucking bananas man that's that's that's insane not of course it's too easy yeah that's what it was let's go for 800 800 sally
Starting point is 00:26:18 even with all his top 10 Scotty only had one runner up finish it was at this event where he was also runner up in 2024 sally what is Texas
Starting point is 00:26:32 Children's Hospital Sharp Park Memorial whatever that's exactly right Houston Open in other words yeah I think he lost to Stephen Yeager last year year and was runner up this year as well.
Starting point is 00:26:43 I'm not going to tell you to who, because that's going to be a question later. I remember that one. Let's close the round. Yes, Scotty Schaeffler earned the most money in 2025 in on-course earnings while playing in this state. Does this question make sense? In what state did he earn the most money? Matt.
Starting point is 00:27:03 Does FedEx Cup money account for this? It does not. Texas. good guess but no a lot of mental math a lot of mental math going on right now for the squad
Starting point is 00:27:20 do the majors count in this the majors do count of this I'm going to give you guys five more seconds yeah admittedly this is a hard one and this is not what I thought The answer is Ohio.
Starting point is 00:27:40 I won four million bucks for winning the memorial, which is like, you know, he won twice in, was he went twice in California and twice in Texas or something? And it wasn't even, wasn't even close. What do you get for winning the players, though? We didn't win the players, but he, I think, four million as well. Four five. It's four or five.
Starting point is 00:27:58 Yeah, four point five. So here in four million in Ohio, three point six in Georgia, three point six in Maryland for the BMW, 3.4 in North Carolina for the PGA, 3 million in Texas and 2.8 in California. So after round one, it's a bloodbath, guys. I'm not going to lie to you.
Starting point is 00:28:19 I thought this was set up for scoring. Solly is at 4,000 Matt in a comfortable second place at minus 1,600. And T.C. bringing up the rear minus 3,200. So much golf left, though. We've got a long, long way to go. TC's playing hurt. That's true.
Starting point is 00:28:35 That is true. And Sully just cherry-picked that LPGA category. I mean, that wouldn't, that wasn't a fair fight. It's winter. It's getting colder where you live, that there is a chance that you can get better at golf this offseason. What if I told you? It would only take you maybe 70 minutes a week.
Starting point is 00:28:53 And when you show backup at the golf course next spring to play golf your body for the first time, you'll be blowing it past them. That is, of course, the product I'm talking about is the stack. It is a, I've done it. I've done it. I've heard the testimonials from everyone else that has done it. It takes 30, 35 minutes to do to go stretch in your backyard to swing a weighted stick as hard as you can, multiple times.
Starting point is 00:29:13 It tells you exactly what you need to do. It sends you encouraging messages along the way. It tells you when you need to be working out. It tells you what stretches you should be doing. It is something you will look forward to doing every single day that you do it. Again, you don't have to do it every day. It's once every three days or so. You'll be looking to carve out time in your schedule to do it because you'll see the gains immediately.
Starting point is 00:29:31 And when you get back out of the golf course, you will be sending me one of the many emails I've gotten thanking me for endorsing. this product this hard. www. the stack system.com slash NLU. Code no laying up will get you 10% off. And if you got your kids if they're getting into baseball,
Starting point is 00:29:47 there's a stack baseball side that is quietly getting some very real traction at the highest levels. We're seeing pro hitters and top college guys using it. So if your kid is dreaming big, this is a killer Christmas gift as well. If you have a relative or a parent or someone or a spouse in your life
Starting point is 00:30:02 that's looking for a Christmas idea for you, stack system.com. slash and all you code no laying up for the stack it's going to turn you into into a better golfer let's get back to the show oh well the points of course are going to be doubled in round two you know that and uh there's just there's a lot more a lot more to go here so starting round two categories are going to be winning time people that won tournaments national opens oh god hmm the the national opens category i'm going to give you the the player and the golf course and you tell me what national open it was.
Starting point is 00:30:37 Okay. Live forever. There's one for Matt. It's not an oasis category. That's going to be about live golf. Then and now. And Rory Story. Solly,
Starting point is 00:30:53 it is your board at 4,000. You can really get out and run here in double bozinga or whatever we're calling this. Winning time for 400. This 26 year old claimed his first PJ tour title. this year in Houston, a city that's always been good, a good spot for young chefs. Solly. Who is Min Wooley?
Starting point is 00:31:14 It is Min Wooley. Let him cook. You won't ever let him cook. You won't ever let him cook. 800 winning time. This player won three times in five weeks this year on PJ Tour Americas. He then added a PGA tour win in Utah for good measure. Solly.
Starting point is 00:31:34 Who is Michael Brennan? with the buzzer seven milliseconds there tc it is michael britton congratulations sally is officially uh out out and running now winning time for 1200 200 200 it was an up and down year for this lefty who won at pGA national but ended up missing 19 cuts on the year matt
Starting point is 00:31:57 joe high smith it is joe high smith i was going to do something about putting with his eyes closed and all that stuff jo the show jo the show i said 10 missed cuts in a win and a win so sick i don't think he got into the i don't think he got into the uh signature events with a with a win which is which is wild uh but listen got a dove got two years you know she'll figure it out uh matt you're bored uh winning time 16 all right oh yeah baby moves uh whatever the max is whatever the max is a thousand i love it a thousand i'm sorry 2000 2000 yeah there we go is the max all right this four time
Starting point is 00:32:35 DP World Tour winner won twice in 2025, which happened to be his only two top tens on the PJ Tour this year. This four-time DP World Tour winner won twice. Twice on the PJ Tour, I should say. Okay, twice in 2025.
Starting point is 00:32:53 I know this. That's great. Fuck. Put some more pressure. Seven seconds. T.C., do you know it? I don't think I did it. It's Ryan Foxxie.
Starting point is 00:33:11 I think it was Myrtle Beach in Canada. Is that right? Yeah, Ryan Fox. That stinks. Matt, it is still your board. You've got all the $2,000 category still available. It's not over yet. Yeah, let's go, let's mix it up a little.
Starting point is 00:33:27 Let's go then in now for 400. How does this category work? Matt, it's another wager. How does this kind of work? This is basically going to be like they did this back then and this year they did this. Does that make sense? Yeah. It'll be, it'll be pretty obvious.
Starting point is 00:33:46 2000. I love it. In 2021, he only made 12 cuts and $400,000 on the PJ tour. In 2025, he made over $13 million on the PGA tour. I mean, I feel like this should be easy. 13 mil last year the fuck me 13 now
Starting point is 00:34:08 it's a good question Ben Griffin on the tour he went on the tour in 2021 it's not him Scottie Shephler that is incorrect it's JJ Spawn US Open champion
Starting point is 00:34:23 13 million 13 mili for JJ Spawn players runner up uh yeah big year big year Hoover and up cash for JJ Spawn big miss there Matt, you've now surpassed TC as in the last place.
Starting point is 00:34:38 There's still a lot of money on the board. Oh, God. All right. Let's go. Let's go then and now 800. Damn it. In 2023, he became the youngest player to win three PGA tour events since Tiger Woods. And in 2025, he's fallen all the way to number 139 in the date of golf rankings.
Starting point is 00:34:58 T.C. Who is young Tom Kim? It is Tom Kim. 139. He's falling too. I was just three times. He did. He did two Shriners and, uh, right.
Starting point is 00:35:10 Which, Deeds, do you want to shout out his, Windham? Windham. Wendom. I did like his Instagram post the other day. It was very like, he's walking around art museums. He's kind of posted a little bit of like, what does it all mean, which I, I, I dug. I thought it was, uh, I'm into that, that side of Tom Kim. I want to see him exploring the space a little bit more.
Starting point is 00:35:27 Uh, he's just posting like artsy photos of bricks and coffee cups. And it was great. I'm all it. T.C., you're bored. We'll say winning time for 2000. This 23-year-old won in Puerto Rico, and it's a good thing he did because he grabbed the final exempt spot
Starting point is 00:35:47 on the FedEx Cup points list this fall. It's number 100. Solly. Who is Carl Phillips? It is. Kuala Carl Villis. How are you getting in every time? I mean, on the layups,
Starting point is 00:35:59 he's getting in before us every single time. He's cutting the layup line. You're cutting the lay-up line here, Solly. A lot like Solly at his wolf hammer stuff. You know, it's just you got to know how to play the game. I play the game. Don't play golf. You got to know how to play the game.
Starting point is 00:36:13 Solly, you're winning by what, 9,000, something like that. 10,000. It's not over. It's not over. Then and now for 1,200. In 2022, he nearly became a major champion. In 2025, he was without a top 10 and got relegated from live golf. Sali.
Starting point is 00:36:33 Who is Mito Pereira? It is Mito Pereira. Matt, I'm sorry. That probably should have been the $200 question. Again, I was scrambling trying to get this thing done. That one's on me. Then and now for $1,600. In 2021, he played 30 events on tour and made only $132,000.
Starting point is 00:36:52 This year, he made over $4 million, and that doesn't include the euros he made in France. Sali. Who is Michael Kim? It is Michael Kim. Just historic year. know, back in 21 there when I think everybody talks about Max's year. I think Michael Kim kind of went much farther into the depths,
Starting point is 00:37:11 which is even better to see him back and playing well. So, Saul, you're at an even 10,000. For 2,000. You've got a $12,400 lead. And he's going to finish the category here. The driver turned from a weapon to a liability for this six-time PJ Tour winner who recorded just one top 10 in 2025, falling from number 20 to number 147 in the date of golf rankings.
Starting point is 00:37:37 A lot of info there. T.C. Who is Max Homa? Incorrect. It's a good guess. Six times. How many times is Max 1? I feel like it's six.
Starting point is 00:37:50 I think that's a really good guess. I got nothing. Nobody was taking a swing. We're going to keep moving. That's big tone. So I respect you not, not justify, not even dipping your toe in that one. I'm not going to never be dignify that one like the day. My guy would have fallen that far.
Starting point is 00:38:08 Big tone stunk this year. It's, uh, it's tough. You hate to see it. It was not good. It was not good for big tone. First year, I think he's ever lost strokes, uh, off the tea, which is not a good formula for his, his game. It's like six kids. Give him a break.
Starting point is 00:38:21 All right. That's true. Rory story for 400. Rory was second on tour in driving distance in 2025, trailing only this player. Come on. Who is Aldrich Potkeeter? It is Aldrich Potkeeter.
Starting point is 00:38:39 Matt is. I don't know what you're doing with the cooker, man. Breakaway, right-hand. You know, I was good at the video games back of the day. You know I'm quick with it like that. Rory's story for 800. I'll show you how I'm doing it. The one blip in Rory's stellar year came at this event,
Starting point is 00:38:57 where he shot a 78 in the second round on the weight of missing the cup. But Matt. It was early in the air. Was it Bay Hill? It was around then. Is that your final answer? No, it's not. It's not.
Starting point is 00:39:19 Tori. No. Sorry. T.C. What is the U.S. Open? Close. But no. it is the Canadian Open
Starting point is 00:39:32 very weird Friday memory just was hitting it all over the map and got paid a bunch of money to go up there and play missed the cut on purpose that might have been that might have been it that might have been it uh it's always still your choice
Starting point is 00:39:46 how did I rig the game on that one Rory's story for 12 hundred uh Rory's curious luck continued at this DP World Tour event where he has finished in the top three 10 different times without ever winning the event. Solly.
Starting point is 00:40:03 We just talked about this a couple weeks ago. What is the Abu Dhabi H.SBC champion? It is. It is. That's insane. I feel like that's one of those that, yeah,
Starting point is 00:40:11 just can't really explain. Multiple golf courses, top three, 10 different times is never, never won. That's nuts. Rory's story for 1600. Rory McElroy won his 20th
Starting point is 00:40:23 DP World Tour title in a September playoff against Joachim Loggergren at this event. Dolly. What is the Irish Open? It is the Irish Open. Congratulations. The beautiful K Club, I believe.
Starting point is 00:40:37 What are you doing with this budget? With the budget, man. You weren't even close on that one. Roy, 2000. It certainly didn't affect his bank account, but this year, Rory actually posted the worst numbers
Starting point is 00:40:49 of his PJ tour career in this stat. Kind of a hard one, but it took me a long time to look it up and confirm, so I put it in there. Didn't hurt the bank account. T.C. What is driving accuracy? TC, let's go, man.
Starting point is 00:41:10 Wow. Way to go. Call it a comeback. Yeah, 51% of Fairways hit, lowest of his career, but again, didn't seem to have a huge impact. Notice that for his entire career, he's only been above average in accuracy. Yeah, right.
Starting point is 00:41:25 He's only been above average in accuracy one year, like way back. in like 2016 or something and just in stark relief to scotty who is a bit above average every year which is crazy rory obviously has are you saying that through the lens of fairways hit i am yes okay because like the he is actually has years where he uh goes above that number based on a pure accuracy standpoint right like the if it's other than fairways hit like there's a there's a delta of misses that matters right so there's measurements of how far offline, he hits it and it's not that far. He's actually
Starting point is 00:42:02 more accurate than it sounds like, but when you hit it that far and you're only missing by a small margin, he's still an accurate driver. Yeah, I think that's right, but that's a bit of a fun, you know, fun with numbers. Yes. Yeah. TC, you're bored. Come on, man. I think you need to run the table here. Let's go national opens for 400, dude. All right. Are you ready?
Starting point is 00:42:26 Maxwell Moldovan at the Rio Olympic course. Matt the Brazilian Open it is the Brazil open yeah so simple it was maybe a little bit of a trick
Starting point is 00:42:42 I was like oh no please don't it was a trick question I'm trying to ease you guys into some of these you know Matt was standing over an 18 inch it really was way too long it really was pull the trigger
Starting point is 00:42:55 a pull a national opens eight Kevin nod that the players that year. Eugenio Shikara at DLF Golf and Country Club. Sali. What is the Indian Open?
Starting point is 00:43:11 Technically the hero Indian Open, but yes, it is. Shout out to Dr. Moonjaw. Yep. 1,200 National Opens. Ryan Peake at Millbrook Resort. What? T.C. What is the New Zealand Open?
Starting point is 00:43:27 It is the New Zealand Open. That would have been a bleat. a blemish on your resume if you didn't get that one. National Open 600. Adrian Sadier at Argentario Golf Club.
Starting point is 00:43:44 Matt. Is this another, like, trick one here? It is. It's not the word it looks like. Oh, damn. That's like, it's 1600. Let's go to the French Open. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:43:58 That was terrible, I guess. he's a French golfer I believe yeah Argentario I'll play TC got there first what is the Spanish open unfortunately not
Starting point is 00:44:15 Sali open to Spain what is the Italian open well done it's all I rig in the board again you dirty dog oh man it is the Italian open I feel like Scotty at the
Starting point is 00:44:27 CJ Cup right now Let's go national opens for 2000. All right. CJ Cup, Byron Nelson. Very nervous for the pronunciation here. Jacques Cruzfeik at Muthyga Golf Club. TC, come on, man. Got to be.
Starting point is 00:44:45 What is the South African Open? Oh, don't say magic a kitten. It's the magical Kenya. It's the magical Kenya. TC, come on. TC is a play and hurt today. All right. As we enter the final category,
Starting point is 00:45:06 Saul is at 17,600. TC in second at minus 5,600. And Matt in third at minus 6,400. Solly just got to just got to not run out of golf balls here down the stretch, I think. Solly, you have to go true. You have to wager at all. Everything, the final jeopardy. I'll go.
Starting point is 00:45:26 I still don't think you guys are going to catch them. I don't think you're going to. We're not allowed to participate if we're... They won't make fun of Jeopardy. Live Forever for 400. The lights weren't too bright for this clique who won the season opening event in Riyadh. Sali.
Starting point is 00:45:46 Who is Adrian Moronk? It is Adrian Moronk. Thank you. Well done. You guys to TC on that one too. 800. The driver was even better than usual for this player in Korea over the first 36 holes
Starting point is 00:46:00 he averaged 342 yards off the tee while only missing three fairways Sully Who's Bryson DeShambe It is Bryson DeShambo That's crazy man I feel like people slept on how good
Starting point is 00:46:14 that driving performance was Maybe for good reason But we can talk about that elsewhere 1,200 please Despite his dominant year on the Live Golf Tour Walking Neiman is currently number 34 in the data golf rankings he's the fourth best live player behind rom
Starting point is 00:46:33 bryson and this player sorry who's tearyl hatton it is terrell hatton uh i don't know how yeah that's what did he win like six times is here on live and he's still like way down those rankings but any corrupt data golf right exactly 1600 yes please live dallas was the first time that this resident had ever won a pro tournament in the Lone Star State. T.C. Who is Big Tech, Sergio Garcia? Oh, God. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:47:10 I just, I just wanted to. I just wanted to get that one is. Go down swing it. I got nothing. P? It was P. You've already lost the, yeah, I'm going to, I'm going to wipe that one to no one else takes that, but yes, it was Patrick Green.
Starting point is 00:47:27 Yes. First live golf victory, I believe, for him as well. Final question. Live golf 2000, since its inception, this player has earned $63.8 million from live golf, just shy of the career earnings of Jason Day. Sully. Who's Joaquin Neiman? That is incorrect. 63.
Starting point is 00:47:54 Kind of the poster boy of... Oh, I know who this. of live golf earnings, I feel like. T.C. Who is Taylor Goode? It is Taylor Gooch. Good one. That's a good get.
Starting point is 00:48:05 That's a good get. That's a good get. Guys, uh, listen, that was a, that was a blood bath. Solly's at 18,000. TCs at minus 5200. Matt at minus 6,400. I feel like we've been in this. We've been in this, uh, situation before.
Starting point is 00:48:21 And I don't remember how we handled finals with the negatives. Uh, I think even if these guys doubled up, you know, they're not, you know. We should be able to bet $10,000. No matter what. You should have $1,000. You guys, I don't know how it works. You guys put whatever number you want into the space and you do whatever it'll let you do.
Starting point is 00:48:39 The final round category is Tommy. What does it say you can wager up to, guys? A thousand. A thousand, yeah. As long as Sally doesn't weigh your $25,000. I can't bet more than $18,000. I'm going to bet it at all. God, this is going to be a.
Starting point is 00:48:57 historic scoreboard to save here. I'm talking Tommy Fleetwood, Tommy Roy. Yeah, who knows? Tommy Bolt. All right, guys. Tommy Fleetwood's famous winless streak extended at the Travelers Championship when he decided to hit this
Starting point is 00:49:15 club into the 72nd green. Oh, Sally rigged this one too. Hey, teacher, do we get bonus if we tell you what yardage it was? Yeah, we totally. Oh, sorry. I should have played the music for you guys here. There you go.
Starting point is 00:49:37 The trademark was, this is trademark royalty free bazzinga. Jams. All right, all the answers are in. I believe in you guys. I think you guys can get this one right. First up, Matt. famously he was between two clubs was it gap in 60 degree anyway 60 he was between
Starting point is 00:50:04 it wasn't between a lob wedge and a sandwich unfortunately madison 60 degree that is incorrect he's wagered a thousand dollars i appreciate you going for it uh that's going to be a minus 7400 for you on the day tc says pitching wedge of course he was in between nine iron and pitching wedge he hit the pitching wedge came up just short three putted lost to the turn of it to Keegan Bradley. I wagered $10,000. I think this was supposed to say $100,000, but only $1,000 for T.C. Congratulations, Tron.
Starting point is 00:50:36 You got that one right. And finally, Sali, you know, he's going to, of course, he's going to get this, right? He said pitching wedge. Yes, he did. He wagered all 18,000, bringing his total to 36,000. Hold on, I got to take a screenshot. That's all time. We have Salli is with 36,000 TC minus 40,000.
Starting point is 00:50:57 200 and Matt minus 7,400. Guys, I don't know if that's going to be the death of postseason Jeopardy or not, but I had a good time. Is this my Ken Jennings moment? Do I have to start hosting that? Yeah, you should. You can get to host the show. That might be the next play, I think. I think that's the only... Should we go through the season's schedule and guess who won each event? Like, Sally, do you know who won every event on the schedule? No, because now as I get later in life, I'm like, was that 2023, 24 or 25?
