I think it's fanduelsportsbook.com.

Starting point is 00:02:23 See terms at Sportsbook.fandual.com gambling problem called 1-800-GAMBLER or visit theringer.com forward slash RG. Randy had to go as smooth as I thought it would. Yeah, that was like, sorry. We're missing our normal host, but he's out on the course right now. He will be calling in soon. We've got TC on his way home. He will also be calling in.
Starting point is 00:02:47 He was out there wearing meta glasses all day. We've got some footage coming out in the next couple of days from the Creator Classic. DJ Pye was on the bag. I believe he will be calling in. Sounds like they had a fantastic day out there. Grant Horvat wins the Creator Classic, the second one, and our boy, our colleague, our associate, Solly Solomon comes in second after a showdown on the 17th. Randy, give me your initial thoughts. What did you like? Let's start there. What did you like about the
Starting point is 00:03:21 Creator Classic? Oh, God. Before I go there, Neil, let me just say that that ad read was a little like our boy, Sally making double on the first one. We're going to try to get this train back on the tracks here. Thank you. Keep it between the mayo and the mustard. Let's just make a lot of pars from here on out. That was a squeezer hot cut off the first tee for me. Listen, there are a couple, I think there was some copy and pasting going on, but we got it done. There is a profit boost. We'll get to our picks a little bit later in the show. You got that live show pressure. I know just bearing down on. Yeah, I haven't been in the hot seat
Starting point is 00:03:53 a while. What did I like? Yeah, from all accounts on the ground, it seemed like it was a jolly event. I think there were a lot of people there. You know, I'm happy for Chris that he quite honestly got to get out of the house and play some golf. And I'm really honestly happy that he played some good golf after the not so good golf. We've all seen him now play at the Gasparilla. So I'll start there. I thought the we'll go into the production and the TV product itself. But I can say this, it didn't glitch
Starting point is 00:04:26 out. It was a smooth viewing experience in the sense that no major technical problems. Yeah, what did you like, Neil? Well, I appreciate them trying out all the toys. We had the drone tracer going. I think part of me having a tough one off the first two years, I'm all fired up, Randy. I really am.
Starting point is 00:04:51 I feel like these are very, my issues are very preventable. It's just get out of the way. And I feel like I just, you have 10 creators, you want to embrace this YouTube golf stuff, and you just keep getting in the way with on-course interviews. We saw Solly's opening tee shot, we saw Roger's opening tee shot, and we saw Gabby Golf Girls opening tee shot, and then we didn't see them again until the 12th hole. It doesn't make any sense to me, and it's like everybody's trying to insert themselves
Starting point is 00:05:24 into the proceedings I thought my guy Ian McMillan had like summed it up perfectly trying to this is a tweet from him earlier today Trying to do too much has been a consistent issue with every standalone Quote fun broadcast like this. It's what ruined the match events to I could not agree more with that I feel like that is the exact issue with the match We're trying to do all this zany stuff and it's just like, all you gotta do is just get out of the way. I want to see like Barstool Trent. I want to see how he made, how did he get to plus 10 through four holes. I don't want to see a fucking interview with him after
Starting point is 00:06:00 four holes. I want to see him hit. I want to see him hit it out of bounds. I want to see him hit fans. I didn't see any of that. And it's, it's a disgrace to me. I would say, you know, I overlooked him hitting that little shot from out of the bunker on 16, I think it was where he almost blew out both ACLs went full Anthony Noto on us. That was a highlight. I'm glad my dad is okay,, but god that would have been spicy. I think you're right in the broadcast. I'm not sure Like it wasn't I didn't think it was that zany like what are we trying to do? That's my thing or like are we trying to have a real golf tournament with real commentator? It seemed like everybody You know Shane Bacon calls real golf right and all the rest of the people it seemed like we're you know, Shane Bacon calls real golf, right? And all the rest of the people, it seemed like we're
Starting point is 00:06:47 trying to do impressions of a normal golf broadcast. And I just can't understand why that's the direction we're choosing to take with this thing. I don't need to tune into the Creator Classic for like, capital S serious capital G golf. Let's get weird. Let's have fun. Like you said, at a minimum, just show every shot and kind of lay out and have a couple of dudes making jokes in the booth. Like it, I think they're over complicating it, trying to make it more of like a broadcast when I don't necessarily think it needs to be.
Starting point is 00:07:22 I mean, I was like legitimately, I, I, I, we're going to get plenty of positive stuff because on site that I think the vibes were extremely high and there were great crowd out there. Like it looked fun. I just felt like it was a middle finger to me of like, I think like Shane's great. You get like a pro like Shane and you get him somebody to run with in the studio. I think that's all you need. And maybe you have one person floating around the three groups. But like the point is, like, just show a bunch of golf. Like, this should be a stripped down, very easy broadcast where it's like, just bounce around. I don't need to see pre shot stuff. You can show me a couple, like if someone's got a rules infraction or something like, and you want to stay on them for a little bit longer, I just thought
Starting point is 00:08:02 there was so much dead time. Well, how is everybody not miked up? How do we not have mics on every player and every caddy? It doesn't make any sense. It turns into like bad, like people walking off the tee commentary of like talking about hot dogs and stuff. I'm like, what, what are we doing here? Like the point is I think the point of this is like if I had a North Star for the Creator Classic It's like hey you like watching these people because they're relatable
Starting point is 00:08:29 They some of them kind of hit it like you some of them are like aspirational like dad They're still an amateur, but maybe I could get that good like I want to see them struggle and Triumph on a pro setup like the day before one of the biggest tournaments of the year I just want to see him play golf like that's that's kind of the secret of YouTube golf is just a bunch of golf shots. And then like if there's some funny banter in between, yeah, people are miked up and you have that.
Starting point is 00:08:54 And so I am a little like jacked up because I felt like like that problem is them trying to do too much. Like I think it could have been very good if we just get out of the way. So I had to get that off my chest upfront. I think it got better as things went on. And I'll say this, like, I know I'm not everybody's cup of tea and that's totally good.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Not my favorite personalities in some of the roles out there. And I think that takes away from it a little bit who I will say who's um who's our guy Fat Perez's caddy? It's Bob the Sports Robbie. Yeah he would have been great in the booth I would have given him the whole broadcast I think he is very naturally funny. I think you need a little bit more in the encore stuff. You need a little bit. I thought Doug Smith, bless his heart, like it was just, he was playing it too straight.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Like for me, it's like, I wanna tune in and like laugh and be entertained. I'm not tuning in to see what I see every week. So that's part of my criticism. and be entertained. I'm not tuning in to see what I see every week. So that's part of my criticism. It gets a little stuck in the middle. But you know what we're gonna do? We're gonna bring in somebody who was there.
Starting point is 00:10:13 Get a little on-site perspective. The world famous DJ Pi, Solly Solomon's caddy, DJ, tell us about your day. Guys, good to be with you. Can you see me and hear me okay? We got you, big guy. We got you. The whole world hears me.
Starting point is 00:10:28 Guys, I'm hopping on here, hearing you talk about the telecast. You should be talking about my dude, Solly, who just absolutely stunted on people today. That was the best. It was the most complete golf I've seen him play. You know, I don't know if they even showed what happened on the first hole. Did they show any of that? Are you guys familiar with what happened?
Starting point is 00:10:47 No. So we had to discuss it with you. I wanted to talk with Randy about what we saw. But Solly makes double on the first. We saw the opening chloroform ball, and that was it. So what happened? Massive snipe hook. My guy hit it way too good on the range.
Starting point is 00:11:06 He's just peacocking all over the place. Like I don't think I can miss. I'm hitting it left to right. The left, the lefts are gone. They're not even a concern anymore. You know, now worried about the run out on the right side of 10. Now it's all of a sudden the tough tee shot for me. I'm like, all right, let's yeah, let's just ease into it. Let's see how it goes. You know, and so nervous, like on the, on the first hole, which is so understandable. There's so many people out there on 10. It was wild.
Starting point is 00:11:32 Notice that off on the first tee. It was packed rope line seven deep up that right side. Unbelievable. I can't believe nobody got hit in the head by some of those tee shots. Totally. So he's got, did you chat up any of the big J's coming up to him? Yeah. Oh yeah. Well, I was, I was talking to Monahan for a while, you know, it was like, it was, it was great, you know, and he's, he's coming up talking to
Starting point is 00:11:52 Sally, you nervous, how you doing? Uh, and just complete quick left. And, and did they, I don't know if they show this, but it bounces back over the bunker, uh, like that little skinny bunker that runs up the left side of 10, slams a tree bounces all the way back. I was like, dude, that's the best thing that could happen right there. It's just like, I was liking it to him. It's like, you know, almost, almost like when you you kind of drink too much. And you're like, man, I
Starting point is 00:12:17 think if I just threw up, like, I think I would just feel a lot better. Yeah, you know, it was like, it was one of those. It was one of those swings. And then after that, it was just like, Oh my God, now we're now we're free. So listen, he's got like a baseball. We're still not out of the woods. He's got like a baseball swing from one of those huge berms right next to the right to the bunker that turns it over, goes quick left, trying to punch it back, hits it into the bunker, punches out of there, misses the green flubs a chip. I mean, it was it was not a good, not a good- We saw none of it.
Starting point is 00:12:46 No, Deeds, not only did we see- No, we saw none of it. Let me bring in TC here as well. Not only did we not see any of that, we didn't see Roger, we didn't see Gabby Golfgrill, we didn't see any of you guys until you got to the 12th. Yeah, we went like a half hour without seeing your group. Not once. I hate that. bunch of a bunch of interview stuff
Starting point is 00:13:07 I mean it was it was it was bad man. You guys you guys know I'm a pretty pretty skeptical cynical person It was fucking electric out there. That didn't come through via TV. That is so disappointing cuz I don't know I was walking around Freddy and some of his friends and and it was like What a night for it a and B It was it was awesome. I got so many observations, but I've never been more proud of Sally after you battled The did you know the 10th hole whatever compounding? did, you know, the 10th hole, whatever compounding all of that
Starting point is 00:13:46 comes in over there going nuts. And then the chip on the chip on 13 was insane. The bunker shot on 15. You'll like this. The chip on 13, literally it was like a carbon copy of the Russell Henley stuff at Bay Hill. They came back right as he was chipping it with no context. And it was like, Whoa whoa Like unbelievable and it so through 14 I took a note we had eight total shots from Sally five of which were those par putts which were all very good putts
Starting point is 00:14:14 And I was pumping he put it so good Yeah, one putted like he hit in the bunker on 11 one putted there one putted like he hit in the bunker on 11 one putted there 12 was like a really really long to putt but that was that was good 13 one putt 14 one putt I mean it was just are you giving our guy reads what's your role in this stage I was only there if he if he needed me that was our agreement you know you tell me I'm gonna be here yeah we collabed on a couple you know I think he's a good One set of footprints. Yeah, we collabed on a couple, you know? I think he's a good green reader. He knows what I'm doing.
Starting point is 00:14:48 He used to putt on, the putt on 16. Like I was standing. It was so hard. Behind the green. That was such a longer second putt than I thought it was. Really long. And it was like a cup and a half outside left. I mean, it was really hard. He's a snapper.
Starting point is 00:15:03 So, like he's on the ask-a-list. Anybody get honest for laying up on 16? Yes. Well, we were curious. Yeah, they love making that joke. We didn't see anything on 11, but the announcers were ripping you, Bacon and Doug were ripping you for laying up on 11 and on 16. And so was the internet. Cool. It's kind of fun to be on this side. It was like a 285 yard shot, essentially. It was like 269, like dead into the wind. It's
Starting point is 00:15:26 like, yeah, just feather one out there, man. Tough juxtaposition though, when Raj absolutely flashes on 16. Totally. Hey, listen, scoreboard. I just drive on 16. Scoreboard, brothers. Did we get in the fucking playoff or not? You know, that's where I'm at. Well, Randy, guys, real quick. They give out an extra trophy for hitting one in the water on 16 Like get out of here. Where did West Brian finish? Who knows? Over second to last I think six over six over. Yeah, Trent You think Wes was taking a dive to try to distance himself from I'll say golf pass walking over Walking through the professional range to get to the creator range
Starting point is 00:16:09 no yeah Wes Wes walking through the professional range to get to the creator range and all of the pros giving him shit along the way was one of the most emasculating things I've ever seen in my entire life I I truly don't understand why I know it was a complete absence of pride. It was like downside for him, but I want to get $960,000 in the PGA Tour. Let me, let me, I just want to get one thing out of the way. We know solid's got that dog in him. And Randy, I know you're wearing that dog. I'm wearing that dog.
Starting point is 00:16:39 I want to give a shout out to Roebak. Dogs everywhere. I mean, speaking of West Brian as well, you know, Roebak best fit, best feel. It's officially getting to be that time of year. TC's wearing it. It's Azalea season, baby. Roback's Azalea collection just launched and it's bigger and better than ever. New hoodies, new Q-zips, new polos, and your favorite Azalea shirt is back for a limited time in multiple new colorways as well this year. Azalea collection might be our favorite collection of the year from Roeback. TC, can you confirm?
Starting point is 00:17:08 I can. I can confirm. This has been one of my favorite pieces the last few years. I had a great moment with George Bryan, one of my favorite people in golf. On the 17th tee, I said, hey, love seeing a couple of Roeback athletes representing out here in Georgia and Salih. It's a great moment. I love it.
Starting point is 00:17:30 Azalea colors, new designs, go check them out. Use code NLU on rowback.com for a generous 20% off your first order through the end of the week that spelled R H O B A C K.com that's 20% off all polos hoodies, q zips, and more with code NLU. Check out the Azalea collection. Deidj, I have a couple questions for both you, you and TC. What was the best shot that Solly hit today? The putt on 16 was, like TC said, way harder than it probably looked. I don't know if they had any kind of down the line,
Starting point is 00:17:59 but that was a swinger. And that was like, dude, we gotta make par, and then we gotta do something on 17. That was up there. Probably, I mean, the drive on 11 was like, dude, we got to make par and then we got to do something on 17. Uh, that was up there. Probably. I mean, the drive on 11 was, was really, really good after just making a really wobbly double and feeling like he just evacuated himself, you know, the big, the, you would love this.
Starting point is 00:18:17 They could not have been playing it farther back and to get like four steps off the back of the box to get to the, to get to the pros in the event. Yeah. To get to the fairway on 11 was like 257. Like to get to the fairway, like it was, he's like, oh my God, that barely made it there. I was like, no, well you made it by like 50 yards. Like you hit it, you still hit it like 300 yards. So that was up there, but I will shout out the, those are two honorable mentions.
Starting point is 00:18:43 The chip on 13 was gnarly. I don't know how that ball went as far as it did, but that was in not a bueno spot. Just kind of chipping downhill. And like, it was one of those where like, you know, you're chipping downhill, but like you're kind of into the upslope, but then also the putt is running away from you.
Starting point is 00:19:00 So it's kind of like, if you don't clear that first hurdle, it's gonna roll back in the collection area. And if you hit it too hard, it's going to like re everything on that green, like go so far, you know, towards that water. Like that would have been really bad. And he knocks it up there to like five feet and makes the pot. That was gnarly. And we did see the end of that chip. We didn't see how he got there. Um, I mean, can we talk a little bit about 17? Like, hold on. I mean, even like a bunker shot on 15. 14. Or on 14 was great. And then like the drive that he hit on 15. I don't think we saw the bunker shot either. I don't know how people don't We saw the bunker shot either. I don't know how people don't talk about 15 as like the hardest tee shot on the BGA Tour.
Starting point is 00:19:48 That's so hard, especially like all the way back, the hole is playing like 470. And yeah, like again, our guy who not only snap hooked one on 10, just put an entire tournament on camera of like hitting snap hooks. All of a sudden he's got to hit this like high bleeder fade that goes like 310, you know, to cover that bunker and he does it. Like it was, it was, it was a triumph for the human spirit, man. Like to step up on, I don't know. Like
Starting point is 00:20:17 I just, I'm coming through on TV, Randy, we were feeling all of that, all of that. You know, I got some of this in my creator glasses. I was using these. All right, good. I'm glad we got some footage and we, we, we invested in getting some of that. That's, that's, that's important. It was, I don't know, man, like being out there, dude, the crowds were fucking huge. It was wild.
Starting point is 00:20:38 There were so many people. Like there, there were more people out there than like. What was the average age of the crowd? At the ValSpar. It was like a normal players crowd. It was like the exact thing you would see out there on like a Tuesday afternoon or a Thursday morning. Like he was so good about it that you guys will get a big kick out of and solid can talk about this more when he comes on. But ask him about all the extra curriculars leading up to today. Because I mean, they didn't tee off till 430. Oh, I think they
Starting point is 00:21:01 got there at like 745 this morning. And it was just like thing after thing after thing. And so they're going around and they're like, all right, next up, like we're going to meet all these kids. And none of the kids knew who Sally was, which was great. So like, they're all going up to Grant, you know, and like, Oh my God, great, great, great. So I just got to stand it over there. It's just, it was great. Big, you would like me really, it was, it was ready. And his friends kept trying to get solid to sign their hats I'm like no Freddy. He's not signing your hat like we're not gonna ruin He lives down the street. I see we did see
Starting point is 00:21:34 Randy Randy called it out thirsty Freddy Freddy made some had some some broadcast time in in the sudden-death playoff It's good to see my nephew out there. Freddie's massive fat Perez guy. Really? Who's not though? Yeah. How about that putty he had on too? I mean, that were on 17. 17. Unbelievable. Yeah, kind of better than most.
Starting point is 00:21:55 Deidre, I got to ask you, I think Trent put seven in the water off of 17T, start signing autographs. We're all wondering how many he put in the water, seven? I think it was seven. Somebody can check me in the water. No, I think five in. I think he hit his six on. He made an 11, so whatever that adds up to. So, all right, how bad, was the icing bad?
Starting point is 00:22:15 Were you guys, like, generally pace seemed like an issue. Was pace an issue? We were, well. You guys got one o'clock, right? Seemed like your playing partners were deliberate. That was yeah. So I cannot emphasize enough how many industry people were out there. Like every agent in the game, every tour employee, like it was like Wednesday at Augusta under
Starting point is 00:22:36 the oak tree. And everyone was like, Holy shit, man, like the pace of play out here is not good. And Sally was playing super fast. And I don't want to air Raj out. Raj was not playing fast. Raj was delivering. Yeah, Yeah, I think all girl slow problem from the start, the four practice strokes, then stepping off. And we had to see it all. That was the thing. We had to see every putting routine of her.
Starting point is 00:23:05 Yeah, they were they were broadcasting all of that. Guys, I, you know, I don't want to air, I don't want to air him out, but Gabby Golf Girl's dad should be put, should be tried at the head. The internet is not happy about him walking in Sally's line on 15. It was insane. In his view, I mean, he's getting torn up, not, doing of anybody's but his own like that was I'm gonna say I beat my door down to comment on I'm like I don't I'm glad that came through it if nothing else came through I'm glad that I'm sure that was that's true. I will say that to your question Neil so we didn't really catch the group in front of us until 17 so it kind of it worked out. OK, Roger was waiting to go for like he hit that epic shot into 16.
Starting point is 00:23:49 So he that was the first time we had to wait was like on 16, like for Roger to go to the green on 16 and then 17. Like we were not like Trent had hit a lot of those balls by the time we had hold out. Because I was asking Sally, I was like, listen, man, like if he hits it, like when he hits the green, like they're going to go nuts. And like you got like this big putt, like you do want me to watch him and like, I'll back you off. If you know, if like the ball's about to hit the green, he's like, no, no, no, no, no, I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. I'm good.
Starting point is 00:24:17 And he locked in and then cashed it, but God, I saw Trent coming back the other way. I just gave him the Jeter like, man in the arena. Trent's great. Yeah. Now, I was worried though him stopping to sign autographs after putting five in the water. It's like, you know, you might be icing my guy,
Starting point is 00:24:33 like historically. You know what, speaking of our guy, why don't we bring him in? The man of the hour. Mr. Solly Solomon, congratulations. How are we feeling? 19.5 strain on the whoop. The heart has been absolutely pumping for for quite some time here. But my computer
Starting point is 00:24:51 not working. That was on 10, right? So I'm on my phone set up here because my computer is not working here. But yeah, we are we are feeling the feeling the energy right now. Yeah, there was Yeah, there was Pete I had made a blender for about 20 minutes. And then, then we, then we drank the smoothie and we were totally fine. All right. First tea or 10th tea.
Starting point is 00:25:11 He just, let's walk through that shot first. We all have to go through all of them shot by shot, but I mean, listen, man, the clore for me, what are we doing there? Not good. So if you'd have listened to anything I said leading up to this, if you, if you couldn't tell, but I was psyched out by the T-shot on 10, that's just probably the worst shot I could want to hit in front of a lot of people as the first shot of the day.
Starting point is 00:25:33 Like I did not know what to hit. I way over thought about it. And there were 10X as many people there as I was expecting there to be, probably. Deej, you could attest to this. TC, you could attest to this. Like it was a buzz. And I was expecting there to be probably DG. You could have tested this TC. You can attest to this. Like it was, it was a buzz. And I was just like, I just wanted to, you know, just want to hit a smoothie out there.
Starting point is 00:25:50 And I have no idea what happened. I'd like to watch the tape on it because I just completely smothered it. Solid. They threw the tape. They led on the app with, Hey, follow the creator classic. And that was the first stop they put up. It was like, Oh God, is that going to stay? And then we like kind of heard a hit a tree and everybody cheered and I was like, but that was the last thing we saw of you until the 12th hole.
Starting point is 00:26:14 Wow. It's always back. You're back. You know, I have to give a massive shout out specifically to Jacqueline Duncan Duncan at Titleist for like they got me fit into a new driver and a new putter in between the Gasparilla and this, and it made all the difference in the world.
Starting point is 00:26:31 All the difference in the world. I made like five or six left to right putts that I could not make prior. The new studio putter, fastback, like topside lobs from Huber. It was a complete game changer. And I, I have to, this smother ball on 10, whatever. I hit every fairway after that with driver. I hit 11, I hit 14, I hit 15 and I hit 16. And I just didn't have that shot prior to getting put into the GT2. Like it made that much of a difference.
Starting point is 00:26:56 And it's always 16, you know, Raj Raj steps up there after making birdie and he's feeling himself a little bit and he hits one just an, just absolutely egregious line over the trees with a fade. It was crazy and he didn't get drawn into that. He said, I'm going to play my game and he played a little stinger bleeder out there, smart shot. I was so proud of you. And it's weird because I really thought plus two was gonna be good enough You know, so you're just you just want to make five three either making double or par probably on 17, right? So, you know There was no chance to get there from there was a lot of chance to bring in the lefts if I try to step on That drive on 16 I was got to step on it to get there in two if I do that like I got it a three wood into
Starting point is 00:27:42 The wind I kind of don't really know where it's going And if I do that, like I got hit a three wood into the wind, I kind of don't really know where it's going. Like I had the left bat, the worst with three wood. So I'm not, you know, gonna hit a real confident shot with that. So like hit the drive, hit, we ate, laid up with eight iron and then hit a 48 degree on the side of the green. And we had the stress for that to putt par man. But, uh, I, it's golf is so much more fun when you feel really good over anything inside eight feet. And man, was that a difference maker today? I thought the shot into 16, your third shot, like that was the wind should have taken that
Starting point is 00:28:11 more. Like you hit a really good shot. Even dude, like your distance control, even on like 10 was dialed on like the third shot. Like you, that was a perfect distance. The wind just took a little bit left. So yeah, I mean, I really, I told the just like deal, I at least set it into the mic. Like, can we just document the swing feel of like, dude, it doesn't swing does never ever have to be long ever just really simple, low tension, and just like smack down the ball and it just goes straight up. It does not need to be more complicated than that, especially if I'm going to play the little golf as I'm playing. And you know, it's just a really easy feel, especially when you're nervous,
Starting point is 00:28:46 like to be very, very conscious of what your arm tension is doing. I mean, I was nervous as shit. DJ can attest to this. Like, it's just it's impossible not to when you're in that environment. But like if you can just focus on keeping your arm tension down. I mean, I hit the ball very solidly and just just scored, man. I did not think we'd be in the playoff after that opening hole. Your boy was worried when I had a six footer
Starting point is 00:29:09 for double on the opening hole. Yeah. No, Solly, Data Golf did not like your probabilities. I was monitoring that throughout the round, but you hung in there. We're very proud of you. I want to congratulate you, Solly. You earned some Wiki Yellow. That's gotta mean something, I imagine. And it's a real Wikipedia page? Who could say? It looks like it.
Starting point is 00:29:33 We don't know. Listen, guys, it was kind of an old school internet day. I mean, people just farting all over the broadcast. A lot of good memes, a lot of good stuff. Solly, I think you need to answer, like, did you get crowned by the rough on Seventeen when you spun it back? A lot of people are saying, a lot of people, big, strong people are saying. I think George got, George got crowned on his shot in regulation in there. You know, that's where we need we need the the zebra stripe.
Starting point is 00:30:08 Oh, yeah, the wash comeo little dashes of that. It is so steep in the front of that green, like so ridiculously steep that either change the green to flatten that out or you got to have that stripper rough because like I hit a pretty perfect shot there in the 17. No, yeah. What are you saying? No, absolutely. I mean that was a perfect way. You got to control your spin.
Starting point is 00:30:31 You didn't answer the question. I did control my spin and landed right in the slope. No, I did not get crowned. That was as good as I could have hit a golf shot. I mean, I don't know. That was a ferocious twirl after you, you quick stepped early, walked the, the par putt in on 16. I just, just fantastic stuff. I think we ran out of holes. People are calling you the RIT, like the, like the Rizzler, just all the Riz you and K Adams,
Starting point is 00:30:58 just electric stuff. Like, you know, she's your hype woman. I mean, a lot of people, a lot of chatter going on. What was the day? Like, I mean, just 7 45, like, you know, she's your hype woman. I mean, a lot of people, a lot of chatter going on. Sully, what was the day like? I mean, just 7 45, like, like I would have been shit faced by somebody give me a flask. I mean, so it's like they brought us to like the performance center around like, I don't know, noon, 12 30, something like that. And they just set the whole range out for us. And like, yeah, you guys can start hitting balls whenever like, imagine being one of the coolest rangers in the world during a player's championship week and not getting tempted to hit balls early. So I hit balls way too early, hit way too many balls, did the all the things you shouldn't do. But I'm trying to get some nerves out, trying to get some feels. But I purposely didn't check the strain before
Starting point is 00:31:41 we went out and played because I was a little fatigued by the time we got to the, uh, to the opening team. It was, it was a long day filming, filming intros. Did they use our intros? Yeah, it was very awkward. It was awkward to film. It was like, of all people did not know what to do with your hands. Yeah. I'm just standing there like this. Yeah. Hands by his side. I was like, Ooh, you know, well the guy before me, they told him to take his hands out of his pockets,
Starting point is 00:32:01 which is what I would have done. And then I didn't want to do. Oh, it was so awkward. Ben got all the behind the scenes of the awkwardness of all that but uh dude I did not have high expectations for this uh honestly but Neil I gotta give you credit you were you had you've been adamant from the gasp grill onward that you know there was gonna be a redemption story from the fucking redemption story America loves one of those man Solomon shot 86 he's gonna retire next thing you, he's making brand a wait to go live from because he was pretty Channel owns the bank. Yeah this point I don't know his own golf channel And again the cover the broadcast was a disgrace but yes, so what to watch you
Starting point is 00:32:40 What was the deal with the broadcast? Cuz I can't figure out like they should should just be like raw switching spots. Exactly. Just over engineers, dumb bullshit, bad interviews when you don't need them. We saw solid. We didn't see your group for after the tee shots on 10. We didn't see you for two straight holes. How was that? 35 minutes of real time. It's just like people in the a bunch of like- There's 10 people in the corner. Dan Rapoport entertaining the Brian bros.
Starting point is 00:33:07 They're treating it like their YouTube channel. It's just like, yo, you have the creators, the content, just mic everybody up and just have bacon and one person and let's go. It's not complicated. Like the stuff that makes YouTube golf special, like they seem intent on on like bringing in the stuff that ruins PGA twirl. Exactly. We're going to show you our recipe for making golf worse. And they showed all the pre putt like routines and like we hung on a
Starting point is 00:33:38 lot of like shots where we didn't need to hang like, like showing this whole, you know, like basically fat Perez dropping on the first hole for like a minute. It's like, dude, he's dropped. It's a, it's a lateral water hazard. We, he's going to take two stroke, like two clubs and it's not, it's still go somewhere else. I don't know this to be true, but they may not have had like replay capabilities. So a big thing with a lot of televised golf is like, you're watching a lot of canned shots consecutively that you don't realize. And I don't know if they had that big of a setup. Well they had this sweet drone. I mean they had
Starting point is 00:34:09 all the other toys, Oli. Like they had the drone tracer out. Dude, that was so fun. Like how many times DJ just like turned to each other and just be like, I mean how are you doing this? How was this possible? Like my wife and her parents are out following us. Like, you know, it was a truly incredible scene. I was nervous as shit on 17. Oh my God. Like I could not, so nervous I couldn't even spit, especially on that final putt. But it was just like, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:34:40 a dream come true to hit shots in that environment and to get into competitive mode and play decent, man. I was very satisfied with how it went. Dej, there were rumors that at one point you turned to Matt or Ben or somebody and you were like, honestly, I hate to say this, but it might be grown in the game. I said that on 16. I was like, man, I hate saying this, but like, this might be a good thing. Randy, Randy's going gonna be so pissed. I know it was it was cool
Starting point is 00:35:07 Man, I hate to say I hate to say It's cool. It's just like not what I do Totally totally totally I got no person it sounds awesome like I have FOMO But it's like what I saw on TV like I was like legitimately and then I cooled off a little bit But for the first hours like you're mad and you had to go go outside. Let's look a sick mad. I was fucking like this is a just like this is I feel like I'm getting the middle finger It's me. Oh, yeah. God that sucks. Well, I wouldn't hear that I'm gonna shout out if anybody wants to watch our round check out the YouTube here in the next couple days We got every shot baby me and Sally mic'd up going through our process. I thought our process was great. Awesome
Starting point is 00:35:43 You're perfect caddy. You, my mantra hands high, like you kept, you kept giving me the same, the same thing because I do have a tendency throughout a round to like forget about a swing field that's working, which is the dumbest thing ever to say out loud, but he just kept, you know, kept, you know, hands high, stand tall. That was what I told him to tell me whenever we get under pressure. And that was legitimately helpful as a last reminder. So, I mean, you were awesome, Katty. That was what I told him to tell me whenever we get under pressure. And that was legitimately helpful as a last reminder. So, I mean, you were awesome, Katty. That was such a blast. What did Bacon say about me on 17?
Starting point is 00:36:11 I got like 20 checks. Yeah. He said you Roger beat your ass. And then when he did, Sally said, I want, I want you next. And that this was Sally getting the best of Roger. You've got to, you got to help me out with this because Roger had a social media account. Anyone else call out Solly this week? That was very satisfying.
Starting point is 00:36:36 Allegedly there was some strong rooting interest against me in the playoff by some of the voices that may have spoken up earlier this week. So that's just interesting. I mean, they can keep trying to like farm engagement by just coming after you. Really, really cheap stuff earlier this week. I'm just not going to listen. The interview content on the broadcast was fantastic from that operation. Solly, do you need to give a shout out to Horvat though?
Starting point is 00:37:01 He buried your soul on that playoff. I mean, that was a great time. Putt big boy birdie to Cap. Great shot to not Not a shout out to George Bryan for putting his bogey putt right before that and giving him the line, but I do give great credit. It was a great shot in there and he just absolutely buried that putt. That was a really, really good putt. Did you think you made your putt? Did my fake walk in, make the broadcast? I hope it didn't. Okay. Twice. I think I read Doug Smith compared it to Kendrick Lamar, two stepping at the Superbowl halftime show. That's tough because Sally's a big Drake guy. Oh, we whipped them around. We whipped them around. He's a Kendrick guy now.
Starting point is 00:37:39 It started to wiggle. And I just, it was carrying more speed than I thought it was. Cause I thought once it started to go left, I was like, Oh my gosh, this thing's going to fall right in the middle. And it just hung out on the right. But I, it was starting to get honestly hard to read greens at that point because it was so dark. It was like legitimately dark and getting kind of cold. But, uh, I thought, I thought we, I was giving that one a run.
Starting point is 00:37:58 I, I knew there was a very, very good chance. Grant was going to make that putt. Um, so we knew we had to give that one a run. Was Grant anchoring? That's a question from a lot of people online. Was he anchoring? We were doing our own thing out there, man. We had a major champion text and he said, I think Grant is anchoring. Well, there's rules officials there for, you know, I alerted Toxy. I said, Hey, can I give Stephen Cox a shout out in the this would be in everybody's videos I'm sure but in the the pre the pre-round like rules
Starting point is 00:38:30 meeting he's going through and talking about you know we've got this going on and here's we're suspending the one ball room you can use distance measuring devices yada yada yada which saw I didn't think about that we should have we should have used a bunch of different balls that would have been sick. Yeah I did. But he goes at the end he goes yeah yeah, you know, pace of play. Obviously we're going to try to keep an eye on it, but you know, if you guys want this to be like a real PJ tour event, play as slow as you want. No one cares. It was great. Really funny. It took it so hard. People just drop an anchor out there. So the other thing that got a lot of buzz, you know, not egged on at all by us, honestly,
Starting point is 00:39:08 it was 15, the GGGD coming into your field of vision there on that birdie putt. Any comments there? Yeah, it was tough. It was, it was, it was just, that was tough. That was unfortunate. That was unfortunate. It's like the high road here. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:24 It was, it was a challenge. I just want to give an opportunity to respond because that was tough. That was unfortunate. That was unfortunate. It's like the high road here. Yeah, it was a challenge. I just wanted to give an opportunity to respond because the camera was right behind you and that didn't look good. It was not ideal, but stuff happens, right? We're out there having fun. We're trying to grow the game, Neil.
Starting point is 00:39:38 I mean, you gotta make me into these debates. I will say, I mean, I know it's an interesting kind of thing for us to do. Like we're not like a part of really like a lot of the collab part of YouTube. And you know, where we focus more on the podcast, we do kind of our own thing on YouTube, but to kind of be a part of that and see like, I mean, obviously people know how popular a lot of these guys are, but like to see the actual impact in person of like, people super stoked to meet Fat Perez and Grant and things like
Starting point is 00:40:05 that is like and Trent and all it's just legitimately cool. Like it is like it's hard to you know we're cynical about a lot of stuff but just to say like I know you hate growing the game Randy but it is like it just has a very serious impact like I don't I don't you couldn't collect that many pros like a hidden giggle on a Wednesday afternoon and get that kind of audience and energy out there. I know it's new and fresh and stuff, but I just think it's extremely cool that the tour does this and treats it the way that they do because it was a primo experience. It was, yeah, I mean, you're hitting shots.
Starting point is 00:40:38 I can't believe we tipped it out. I was not prepared for that. I was going to say they didn't water it down. It was like, hey, you're playing from the same tees as the pros playing the pro M today. Well, I mean, I didn't have to play 18, but I shot two over from the players' tees. Like the farther back and they're probably going to play in the players. I could not believe, I was told we were going to play the front of the pro boxes.
Starting point is 00:40:55 How much did the greens slow down like the last few holes just with the do and stuff? It started to get a little bit, I mean, like 16 my putt, I thought I couldn't keep short just down that hill. And it started to get just a little bit. I mean like 16 my putt I thought I couldn't keep short Just down that hill and it started to get just a little bit slower Raj left an eagle putt short on 16 left the putt short on 17. It just started to get just a little bit a little bit slower They weren't they weren't like insanely fast. They weren't like out of control fast, but man, I oh I'm stoked about this studio putter I left the writers were giving me nightmares and man it just come off the face with with the right like marrying the line and speed on those left to writers was really really challenging for me without an insert and now to have an insert back like I think I do got my swagger back man. I'm stoked. Well sorry, I want we you know there is a big tournament coming up tomorrow. So we want
Starting point is 00:41:39 to want to get to our picks talk a little bit of players. But I do want to show you data golf put out a really good shot profile. Oh, just kind of how your round evolved. The first one there on hole 10, you can see well inside the kind of, I guess average, and then putting just off the charts. And then listen, you just kind of best, kind of just balled out, you know, to finish it off 16 17. I mean, well, I think I hit, I mean, how many fairways I missed two fairways, I guess out of
Starting point is 00:42:16 four for six. That's not too crazy. But yeah, man, I mean, we just, just, just keeping it simple, keeping a simple swing feel and not trying to overdo it. Shocking what can happen if you actually stay focused on that and keep doing it. That's one thing I will pat myself on the back or our team on the back, me and you, Deidre, I'm just like, never trying to do too much. Like just truly we were on the same exact page on what trees we were aiming at and how we were going to peel it. Um, and, and to hit the drive, I hit on 15, like to move a little bit left to right to stay with that fairway and carry that it was a shot I did not have a month ago honestly and I'm just I can't believe that I can play golf like that again it's
Starting point is 00:42:50 so much fun. Well I don't want to drive a schism in between this this budding partnership but Deidre I gotta say Sali didn't mention you once in his interview with Kay Adams he didn't thank his team he didn't he just wow he just didn't bring it up after the round. I mean, I thought that was scummy. No, that's okay. We don't, yeah, we don't do, we don't do it like that. You know, it's, it's about the name on the front of the Jersey here today. That's team Sally, right? Whatever I can do to help the team win. That's what he knows. My role. I know my role. It's all
Starting point is 00:43:18 good. I do. I do. I do got to carry all this shit home. He left all this shit here. I got to carry all that to my car. And like, that's's gonna be kind of a headache, but other than that, just kidding. Man like Roger was hitting some pretty crazy spots today like on on 12 Yeah, he was all over the place a little bit I was kind of over those new like they beefed up that right side of the fairway on 14. That's like Dante's inferno over there. If you miss the fairway just like five yards right at like little a-hole bunker in the back of the green. Like that was the whole like truly after number 10 that was also like my first thought was like all right man honestly we got good we got
Starting point is 00:44:03 that out of the way. The second thing was like I was looking at the scoreboard I was like, oh everybody in the first group made at least bogey on Ted like everybody's gonna play fucking bad man, like this is really hard we just need to like Yeah Hold on ready. You wanted to get something in you Randy hit me with an if I may which I usually means I know what he has to say. Oh the moments pass I was just gonna say sorry a big part of me was hoping you were gonna try to do too much. I Like let's not just skip right past that
Starting point is 00:44:38 Eleven would have been a good chance to do too much And just made a triple like so fast. Look forward to seeing that footage because we didn't see any of that. TPC. But it's just a shout out to TPC, man, because it's like, there's not a lot of golf courses I play where if you are 280 years, like, yeah, pound three would up there and get as close as possible and figure it out from there. But you cannot do that on that golf course like and both 11 and 16. You have to strategize how you're going gonna lay up around two trees.
Starting point is 00:45:05 Like you gotta love that, Randy. Like there are trees that overhang the right side of 11 and there's a tree that overhangs the left. Like you gotta, I had to lay back so far on 16 to make sure I could get it up over the tree with the next one. Like, cause if you just get it up too close to that, I've done that before where you have no shot in.
Starting point is 00:45:21 Like that's, it's just such a unique challenge and you can get yourself in trouble if you try to do too much. But I knew if I hit eight iron and hit a gap wedge in, like we're going to make five. And I hate to say I was playing for five, but you know, it's, we knew what we needed at that point. Hey, Sally, or actually Randy and Neil, I heard rumors that like Kyle Berkshire like freaked out. So Berkshire is Randy's boy. we were talking about it before the sales workshopping this bit. He really liked it. He's been watching his videos like late at night on Cacto's to bed
Starting point is 00:45:53 and just like that's right. And the way that left knee turned in his ground force reaction. The guy goes at the ball, man. TC. I did not see him freak out, but he was definitely like, he was high, strong, Uber competitive. Like he was really every time he you know he missed some opportunities to make that playoff and he was he seemed pissed I didn't see anything like egregious Trent almost blew out he almost no-do'd his knees on 16 he swung so hard he missed that he took a divot and the ball stayed in the dirt in the divot and he fell in it was on a burn like his left knee like gave in it was it was almost a very bad person to get stretchered off a golf course can I shout out trend for like in front of that many people back tease the
Starting point is 00:46:44 players championship. Yeah, yeah. And that's the thing though, the point for us is we want to see it. It's if he's going to be in the event, I want to see him struggle. That's the whole point. And we saw we didn't see anything until 16. I was standing on the rigs and rigs was like, I'm so glad I'm not out there right now. And Trent was like, it's all I would love to do it.
Starting point is 00:47:02 I think I like that would be my shit. But like, Trent was like, dude, like I own the bank, like everybody's expecting I would love to do it I think I like that would be my shit but like Trent was like dude like I own the bank like everybody's expecting me to fail like if I hit a good shot it's awesome if I hit a bad shot everybody's gonna think it's hilarious like what's not to like I feel like those guys were very very very in on the joke which is like the best place not everybody was no it's like when you're coming in buttoned up is where it's like, all right, dude, like, look, I mean, like, look around here, guys. Come on. Like it's kind of a joke, right?
Starting point is 00:47:30 Like we're not, you know. Well, but that's kind of what Randy and I were talking about before you came on. It's not presented as a joke on the broadcast. And that's where we're stuck is like all the feelings you guys have. I can understand them and I want them. I think there's something there and this could be very good, but it's not being presented that way. It's being presented as like, Oh, do you know how much this means? I'm like, look at that trophy. It's fucking ugly.
Starting point is 00:47:53 Like, what are we talking about? What is this? He was dead behind the eyes to Neal's former colleague. Be careful. Yeah, seriously. Come on. That's not googly. The biggest, the biggest no brainer I think is, and we talked about this this week is like a, a high low, like a high handicap with a low handicap playing all shot out there would be a blast. I feel like, and having teams and having it much more like low stakes and low key like would be, would be a blast. But yeah, when it gets stuck in the middle between like, this is a very serious tournament and also it's kind of a joke is where it's It feels like yeah, just overproduced. So alright, listen, I don't I know we could sit here and we talk about this for an hour
Starting point is 00:48:32 Solly, I don't know. You might have dad duty. You might be Alex just came back with pizza from DNLP. All right. Well, let's let's talk a little players TC I wanted to get a little weather report. What I'm gonna I'm gonna drop I'm gonna start schlepping stuff. All right, good work out there pie man. Yeah Guys, you know, I was Every week every week and I'm in the airport man. I'm always listening to the show I love I love catching up with you guys. Good. Oh, you do after sorry You got a good do you got a good do vol?
Starting point is 00:49:03 It was all anytime you got a good do you got a good do vol? A couple do vol. Also you guys need to make sure you listen to the beginning of this tomorrow I you I cannot describe how bad I Botched the fan duel ad to start the show and it was like your tea shot on Sally Solidarity with you. I just kicked I was so like oh my god You know tough tough, tough stuff. Anyway, that's a little Easter egg for you guys. See you boys. See you.
Starting point is 00:49:29 How about the confetti there? That was pretty cool. Yeah, I don't know what that is. I'm gonna balance it too. Confetti for the net? Yeah, I'm gonna balance it as well unless you guys need me. But, Great playing out there, Pro.
Starting point is 00:49:39 And Freddie, that was awesome support. So, last thing I'll ask you to transition us into the real the big boy event. What would the course like soft like soft soft. So yeah I drove it right on 12. This is pretty good Intel. Two iron. He's the last guy to play the golf before the tournament. Well yeah so I drove it right. I had one 50 flag downwind jumper lie. One 30 front. This is all this is.
Starting point is 00:50:10 This is 12. And this is like, oh, this is dead red, 48 degree. Don't need to crush it. If it lands on the front, it's going to chase back there out of the rough, out of a flyer line. We did see that shot. Perfect. You saw it and it stopped. It came backwards. Like I was stunned.
Starting point is 00:50:23 I was very upset because I had a really, really good shot there. And then so that got me hitting five iron into 13 thinking I needed, you know, if I hit six iron, it's going to stop dead in its tracks and it's going to come back and not go up the slope and come back. And then, so then I started over clubbing and getting too long, but it was very soft. I mean, you could stop it pretty much anywhere you wanted to on the greens. But I mean, yeah, it is just like you do end up with just more respect for how these guys show up and do it, man, because it's a really, really, really hard golf course. And I always say, though, man, if you just execute your shots, like you're not going to walk off and feel like it's really hard. But as soon as you are out of position and a little bit like again, total blend. I'm behind a tree, lying
Starting point is 00:51:05 to behind a tree in the bunker on 10, like, you know, mine moving a mile a minute and I'm thinking it's going to be a long day, but it's one of your best shots of the day was like that. The wrap around wedge. Yeah. That worked out really well, but it's, it's, it's really, I think if it's that soft, we've seen what Tor Pros do. I mean, if a bunch of YouTubers, if plus two was, if three out of 10 YouTubers can finish plus two or better, that's gonna rip it up.
Starting point is 00:51:34 I mean, just totally rip it up, I think. All right, last thing I got for you. We got our one and done's. I'll let you announce yours live. Who you got this week? I am, you're gonna hate it, TC. Had a great start to the week last week when he plays really well it he makes it last for several weeks and maybe months at a time maybe
Starting point is 00:51:52 six weeks at a time he was a lip out away from winning this last year he had his way with this golf course last year I believe he's moved to plus six thousand to blow pig Wyndham Clark to win this week that's my one and done. I don't hate that at all. Okay. I thought you might hate that one, but I've got the blow pig. That's, that's my, that's my pick for the week. All right. It good stuff. Solly congrats on a, on a fantastic performance, a true redemption story. I'm proud of you. I'm really proud of you, dude. That was like, you showed a lot of heart. Like you backed up the wall. You put it out, you, dude. Thank you guys. That was so fun. A lot of heart. Yeah, back to the wall. You put it out there, right?
Starting point is 00:52:27 Taking a couple more car wrecks, Sully, but I. I'm sorry, I gave you one. I gave you one one spectacular one. When I didn't even get to see it. That's why I know when you get to see the film, you're going to be like, oh, my God. I really honestly thought like that 250,000 people are watching that live. So I'm very happy that that didn't make the air.
Starting point is 00:52:45 But no, thank you. Thank you to everyone that came out and watched and supported. It was just a dream I never had. But dream come true to get to do something like that. It was so fun. So hell yeah, brother. I might be able to join the back half if you're still live, because I'm going over to T.C.'s. All right. See you soon. Good stuff. All right, T.C. Good stuff All right TC
Starting point is 00:53:06 Let's stick with our place, of course presented by FanDuel odd subject to change and we've got a all we'll do our one and done's first but Got a bunch of custom stuff up on the lot of fan dual site So if you go to the PGA tour page on the FanDuel Sportsbook app, you'll navigate on the top bar. You'll see no laying up specials. TC cooked up some good stuff this week, but Jordan, let's go with the one and done's. Yeah, Gronk helped me out yesterday.
Starting point is 00:53:35 Who you got, TC? All right, my one and done. I had Morikawa on the sheet. I'm actually going to change that. Okay. Change it. So to change that. Okay. Change it. So TC had more. Kawawa now I like more. Call a lot this week.
Starting point is 00:53:51 Putting Jordan the blender here. We're going Fleetwood. Oh my God. There we go. I can't if he wins and I'm not on it. I would rather him in win this and I've wasted it instead of, yeah, let me, let me reference back to what thrills and delights me in pro golf. Fleetwood has not won a PGA Tour event.
Starting point is 00:54:11 And the guy gets picked 16 times a year amongst us. It's unbelievable. Neil, actually, I think you have some stats from the from the FanDuel folks. I do. We'll get to those. And I will say, but Fleetwood's also not the top pick Euro or top pick Englishman. So we'll get to that TC. I'm sure Ludwig is all over the place. No, it's not. It's actually going to be very insulting to you. Are you going to hate it? Are you going to hate it?
Starting point is 00:54:35 Potentially. Randy, who you got in one and done? I got the guy who's currently fifth on tour, strokes, game, tee to green. He's had couple of good results in a row. He's going to come out of nowhere. Our guy, Michael Kim, that's my one and done pick. Really? Wow. The wind. You're not worried about him being exhausted? No, no. I mean, he told us last week, one or zero is that guy says he plays better on like week five and week six. So we're kind of in his sweet spot right now. Yeah. He joined the show last week is fantastic. Neil, who's your pick? My pick this week, I need to confirm who did I pick this week. Oh, I picked JT. I think JT has been playing great golf. I think he's a past champion.
Starting point is 00:55:19 Pointing that way. What'd you say? It's a good pick. A lot of indicators pointing that way. Yeah, I just feel like he's kind of been sniffing around and like, I don't think he's been getting enough like credit. Our good friends at Titleist just put out a little chipping video that I did with him last last July up in Connecticut at Wampanoag country club. Last June, last June. I guess. Yeah, last June, I forgot about it.
Starting point is 00:55:42 I was like, God, I like what Sally was saying. I need to remember these tips. Like we were working on the nippy scooter and I don't know, J June I forgot about it. And I was like, God, I like what solid was saying. I need to remember these tips. Like we were working on the nippy scooter and I don't know. JT just feels like he's kind of back. Like I feel like he hasn't like beat the door down, but it's just like a lot of, I feel like I'm seeing him on the leaderboard. He's comfy here.
Starting point is 00:55:57 He's got all the shots. Give me JT this week. I think the one thing I might be a little bit worried about is like, is it too easy out there? Is it too, it's gonna be very dome golf for the next couple of days. I know, but TC, that kind of sets up well for him. I mean, he's won two PGA championships. Those are always birdie fests, right? Like that feels like a good fit. Sunday might get a little frisky with the wind. I guess I was talking to Lou earlier. He said 3 p.m. Sunday in their local Jax models
Starting point is 00:56:25 in their local Jacks models is very much like they may have to bump tee times up on Sunday, the weather might get that shitty Sunday afternoon, but it's going to be totally placid until then. So, and then DJs riding with me, he's got JT this week, let me see what KVV's got. KVV's got Ludwig at plus 1800. And yeah, Randy, you got Michael Kim. God, I love you giraffe play from the big guy sticking his neck out. We love that. It's playing well. All right, TC, you want to take us through the custom parlay this week? Yeah. Custom parlay. Listen, this was a much bigger surprise. This is our three three-way parlay
Starting point is 00:57:10 Incorporating one of our or this isn't the custom parlay. This is this is the three-way parlay So the three-way parlay top 20 When I had more Akawa it made more sense with the Fleetwood one But Fleetwood plus 100 Sally shared a stat on the on the Sunday showed this past week of Like Randy like he's remarkably consistent. No, for sure. TCI top 20. We will ride. You see, I will ride into a top 20 for Fleetwood. You can truly, I'll go anywhere in the world with you on that pick, but I, but to win this week, I'm just not feeling it. So we had, we had Tommy plus 100 top 20, Sep plus, or plus 100 top 20 sep Plus or plus 170 top 20 which Neil I saw sup I was driving home from Whole Foods the other night except renting the house right right near there
Starting point is 00:57:52 I love that for top 20s playing great golf right now. Sally hates him Randy's going back to the well of Michael Kim Plus 200 plus 200 there You know if I if I like him much, it felt criminal not to put them in a top 20. There was an interesting, uh, I think they had Michael Kim and MAF matched up in a, in a, you know, one-on-one heads up 72 hole play earlier this week. And I'm like, man, that's a pretty fascinating play. Cause I feel like they're both pretty big stats guys and play kind of a similar game. That's a really interesting.
Starting point is 00:58:26 So NLU special this week, Tommy Fleetwood, Sepp Straka, Michael Kim, all to finish inside the top 20, including ties plus 1400. Where can people find these? On the FanDuel Sportsbook app, you can just navigate to the PGA Tour. It'll be players. It should be labeled players. And then no laying up specials are just navigate to the PGA Tour. It'll be players. It should be labeled players and then no laying up specials are just right on the top bar. Like if you scroll over if you depend on if you're on phone or
Starting point is 00:58:50 desktop, but yeah, we'll put the link to this page in the description as well to the YouTube video. Randy give me three plays. What do you like this week? I what do you mean three plays? What are your three plays for the week? Jordan, can we flash the graphic back up? I got my weird one. You know, I went back to a region created a stupid parlay with Nikolai Hoygard being the top Nordic. All right. Big, you know, we got to dodge Ludwig there, but we're
Starting point is 00:59:25 doubling up with Ludwig as the top Swede, Tom Kim top South Korean, and Adam Scott emerging from the Oceania group. That's plus 24,000 if anybody wants to get a little weird. The tap in, I had JT at top 10 and Scotty and Ludwig top 20s. That's plus 5000 all in that felt somewhat safe. Plus 500. Sorry, plus 500. Yeah, 5000 would be a. Call your banker. Or your broker. And then Neil, I think that's in my one and done was Michael Kim. Love it. Thank you. You're welcome. Casey, what other fun stuff you got for us? Yeah, I got Jay Day and Spieth top 20.
Starting point is 01:00:07 I think Spieth I think Spieth sitting at home during Bay Hill lit a little bit of a fire under his ass of like, you know what man? Like I'm I'm better than that. He's proud. He's a proud man. Yeah. Yeah. So I think Spieth and Day uh my fun parlay. I got Jay day
Starting point is 01:00:27 Fleetwood and Jackson's super the detective funky has been in my ear about this guy for from four years now at this point. And, uh, you know, that's plus 1400 or sorry. That's, uh, that's, that's plus 6,000. Subur is just jacking that one up. I like Frankie Sapin too. If you want to sub him in instead, I don't love his driving accuracy though. And then we'll get to the really, really good custom. Randy, I'd like to say Jack Subur's got to move like your boy Berkshire, like really disassociates really well in the torso and the legs. Great turn. Guy gets,
Starting point is 01:01:06 you know, uses the ground well. So I think you'd appreciate that. Tappen, Fandil's got some like pre-built parlays. I like Fleetwood and Shoffley, both to finish inside the top 20. I feel like Xander's probably pissed about how he came back. I think he's a forgotten man right now, right? Yeah. And I think he played well here last year. I don't think he's searching though. Tough place to be searching. I don't think he's searching. I think he's just a little rusty last week, TC. You know, I threw in Fleetwood for you. That's plus 290. And then this, I'm really excited about this. I did some, I did some, did my own research a little bit this
Starting point is 01:01:39 week, TC. Wow. What is this course value? Driving accuracy. So I went to data golf and I said, who approach play. I want the top, just give me like the best driving accuracy guys. I'm going to cross reference it with who's playing Russell Henley, Doug, Kim, Daniel Berger, and Aaron Rye, all to make the cut plus three 80. I don't know. Just like that one. Like I'm not saying they're going to win. I'm not saying they're all going to play great, but I just don't think they're, if they hit the fairways, I don't think they're going to miss the cut. That's what I'm going with. Can we get to my special group play, my group-o, group-o TC? Please TC, take us there. This is our custom parlor of the week.
Starting point is 01:02:21 I got Tommy. I don't know who's in each group, but You can look these up on your own We got Tommy winning group B Jason day winning group D Will's ala Torres winning group E Tom Kim winning group F and Billy ho in group K and That's plus 155 thousand four hundred and eighty nine. I put that in. TC tweeted this out earlier. Love that. And I trailed you. I trailed you. You know, I don't want to miss out on the vision fund. Like I'll take a little. And these are I like these because they're all independent sandboxes. Right. So like, when you make a top top 20 play And you parlay that you're competing against other guys to get that same top 20 and you know the the the the 20 gets
Starting point is 01:03:12 It's shorter right versus. This is all different groups independent of one another Feel me I do feel you you referenced a few stats earlier, or that we had some stats. Fandl's got a hole-in-one special this week, hole-in-one on 17. The market opened at minus 175 for a hole-in-one, like a yes. And now it's moved to plus 140.
Starting point is 01:03:41 And then no to a hole-in-one on, opened at plus 130. It's moved to minus 220. So I always like, interesting when you see like, did they, did they set that line? You know, I would think with soccer greens, it would be after watching what I saw, those two front pins are going to be, it's going to be a collection area special. Guys spinning it off the top ridge and getting a couple looks at it. So I agree. I think so too. So I kind of like, yes, I feel like holding one on 17. You can, you can mark me down. I'm saying yes there. And then Jordan, we can flash up a couple of these. I was like looking at just kind of the stats on,
Starting point is 01:04:21 on the overall handle. I don't have them if we can, I don't know Jordan, you have these? If not. She's out for dang. Do you have it in front of you? I don't but I will say a lot of Aaron Rye, a lot of Aaron Rye action going on. A lot of Aaron Rye action. Especially first-round leader plays I think. Hold on give me a sec I'll pull them up. Hold please. What uh guys I was gonna jump in the water I told I told Solly and I cleared it I cleared it with some tour folks I said hey if I jump in the water I'm not gonna get arrested right and they're like no you're going to get arrested just because Freddy's here. I'm going to press you with him here. But I was going to jump in the water if solid one is going to do the Dean Beeman.
Starting point is 01:05:14 Well, I put it out on on X. I was going to send 20% off the NLU Pro Shop until Sunday if he won. And I just sent it anyway, because he came in second so the code is sauce yeah 20% off through Sunday s a u c e why not come on go wild those fine toastie toastie got pushed in the water today I guess somebody pushed him in the water I did not see that but I do want to call out the let me call some of these numbers so you're right Aaron rye is he's got a lot of a lot of juice on him for the first round leader play and sep straka TC. Good to see our guy getting some love here. I love that. Solis guy Wyndham and then Hideki and Ludwig also might be a Hideki special this week like kind of shades of you know it Sunday Monday it rained a bunch
Starting point is 01:06:05 2020 where it got over here yeah it hadn't rained in like six weeks and there were still mud balls in the middle of Fairway and Hedaki I think was gonna win going away and yeah to see six point two percent the handle being there it's it's that's a lot all right who do you guys think the top top USA guy is? Say Colin in that nationality place No, I just like the values of shitty on Scotty at this point, it's raw. We're a little unsure Henley Colin and Ben and I think this is what it's we to those Nationality plays which might not be getting as much as much juice. But Randy, I brought this up because I know you love these plays. If you
Starting point is 01:06:49 scroll way, way over in the just just the nationality plays. Yeah. How is he cold? Top Euro? Who do? Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it?
Starting point is 01:07:11 Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it?
Starting point is 01:07:19 Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it? sandbox, right? But I, Randy, I pulled these, I asked specifically for you because I know you have it all the, all the heavies are on Tommy. Uh, and then I got two more categories. Top Nordic. Who do you think it is? Ludwig. Oh man. Henrik Norlander. I think these are
Starting point is 01:07:37 just value plays. This is, yeah, these are people sprinkling the, but that's where the sh that's the sharps are all over in these. No, but if you look at the guys that are heavy are on Ludwig. 22% of the handle versus 13% of the bet. Fair enough, TC. Fair enough. I'm no expert here. The beluga is just passing this along. And then last one, former winners.
Starting point is 01:08:04 This is where I feel like you can just throw shit, throw shit out the window because I feel like, like I asked, like past history does not matter here. No, it doesn't. I kind of liked, I remember seeing JT, I believe it was like plus 600 for past winners. So I personally liked that one, but I have no idea who the handle is. One's pretty like spread out. Scotty's Scotie's what you know, up top with 2.8% of the bet, 4.2% of the handle. JT is second 2.7 and 3.4% Jason day, third 2% and 1.7%. I really like this week.
Starting point is 01:08:38 I think, I think he's trending in a big way. All right. Well gentlemen, anything else you want to hit? I mean, kind of a, kind of a fantastic, fantastic evening. You know, we got off to a tough start, Randy, but I think we, I think we made some bars. Yeah. We made a bunch of bars. Maybe I can clip in a playoff at the end, but you know, it happens. Struggle with the graphics here at the end, but that's going to happen. Come on. We can get into, you know, there's plenty of stuff we can get into. We got four live shows this week, Thursday to Sunday. We can get into
Starting point is 01:09:09 Monahan's presser and yeah, I was going to say, I think some of that, you know, McKinley's proposal for unity. Well, yeah, do you want to RIP cat? I think we're past that. I think that would be just like kind of malicious at this point. Yeah, I do want to talk about maybe tomorrow night we can hit some of this stuff like McGinley's proposal for Unity. I kind of liked it and then Brando just filibustered like a total dick. Like, I don't know, it was just, it was a really like intense live from segment and yeah, I was kind of the best though. Those are the best live. Oh, it was good TV. It was raw dog. Um, it was just, uh, it was interesting to see McGinley, like, you know, pull a giraffe and stick his neck out.
Starting point is 01:09:52 And like, here's, here's what I do. It's like, I kind of feel like we need a little bit more of that in like the, uh, the upper echelons of golf of like, Hey, here's what I think we should do. Stuff to just keep an eye on. I think number six, they lengthen that one a little bit. They brought that tree back in. The tree's sick. Of course. Oh yeah, Randy, I don't have to sell you on the tree. Fabulous. Yeah. DL3's stoked about it. I think also just generally speaking, I think it's a cool thing that like, I think the tours kind of wave the white flag on like PGA tour design coming in and like Steve Wenslaw and that sort of thing. Like they're kind
Starting point is 01:10:30 of giving DL three license to put some teeth back in this place and make it a little bit more like Pete like in Scott Sherman worked for Pete die back in the nineties. And I think we're going to see some cool stuff over the next few years as far as just adding a little bit more edge to TPC Sawgrass, which I think Pete Dye would have loved. So yeah, potential weather on Sunday. We got Liv. Randy, I know you're stoked for Sentosa. We got Liv on in prime time.
Starting point is 01:11:03 Somebody tagged me and they said there's a champions dinner at Sentosa. We got live on in prime time. Somebody tagged me and they said there's a champions dinner at, at Sentosa. It looked, it looked, it looked like it was in a broom closet or something. Yeah, that looked, that looked, uh, that's Yeah. Thrill and delights me. Rippers played great there last year. Mikkelsen has been active on, on X the everything app. He has taken the social media.
Starting point is 01:11:21 Yeah. So, uh, your boy, Randy, Phil and Berkshire, your boy. I'll take them. I'll take them. Take both of them. Randy's just dying to hit the ball like Kyle. Just kind of get that ground force, man. Yeah. So anyway, I think overall, man, I don't know, like hopefully this, I'm bummed it didn't come through on the broadcast because it was maybe the nicest night of the year here too, just weather-wise. 71 degrees and not a cloud in the sky and just the entire color palette on the sunset kind of thing. So it was a really nice night and I hope they can get the broadcast figured out uh, yeah. So it was a, it was a really nice night. And, uh,
Starting point is 01:12:05 I hope they can get the broadcast figured out for this. Cause I think it was better for, uh, look, look who I got here. I was trying to fill a bus until he got here. Sully Solomon back. He's back. Sully, Sully McSollumberger. Uh, listen, you guys go enjoy the evening. I mean, shout out to fan dual, shout out to Ro back, shout out to Sally Solomon, shout out to DJ pie and, and, and Sally's whole team. TC shout out to you excited to see the content you guys put together. Uh, how's it Trent for putting himself out there?
Starting point is 01:12:35 Yeah, yeah. No child. Seriously. All I have no issue with any of the creators. So it was just more of like, just get everybody else just needs to get out of the way that that's, that's especially getting golf girls. Oh yeah we got a couple issues but well I mean but like that's part of the fun it's like just let the let the creators create Randy let them create okay today was a win for creator golf and I think that's the bottom line sure 100 grass to congrats to whore about on take
Starting point is 01:13:02 taking down the dub. You know, just all of it. Congrats to everybody. You're rejoicing guys. How about it? All right. Thanks for listening, everyone. We will be back tomorrow night and then Friday, Saturday, Sunday, big week.
Starting point is 01:13:17 And if you haven't already go listen to KVV's narrative on Ricky's 2015 players. It's a nice primer. If you got some time tomorrow morning, if you're working out or if you're walking the dog. I really, really enjoyed it. Cheers and crack on. Shout out to George, too. George played great.
Starting point is 01:13:36 Beat the shit out of his brother. Ricky was the original creator classic winner.
